"Yo, what's good, crypto fam? This is first and foremost, a video show. So if you want the full premium experience with video, visit my YouTube channel at Cryptonewsalerts.net. Again that's Cryptonewsalerts.net. Welcome everyone just joining us. Happy Thanksgiving. First and foremost, I am so grateful to each and every one of you, all the subscribes, all the likes. Over the years, we've had this channel now going on six years. This is podcast episode number 1470. Let's freaking go. Let's kick it off with our market watch. You should be able to see here on your screen, Bitcoin back in the green. Let's go. Trading at 37,300, not too shabby considering the 4.3 billion dollar fine from the world's largest crypto exchange, Binance and CZ, the CEO, stepping down. This just goes to show you how bullish the market is. There's really nothing that can be done to stop the momentum we're about to witness. So stay tuned. You have Ether correcting, but still above 2,000 to start breaking out yesterday. BNB is only down a half a percent on the day. And again, that's the native token of Binance. We have XRP in the green, Cardano in the green, and they say when in doubt, just zoom out. Not that I'm in doubt, but hey, I like to see the monthly gains. We got Bitcoin up 13% in the past month. We have Ether up 17%, BNB up two and a half percent, XRP up 14%, Cardano up 36%, and Solana up 77%. And checking out coinmarketcap.com, the current crypto market cap is sitting at 1.41 trillion with roughly 49 billion in volume in the past 24 hours, Bitcoin dominance at 51.5% even, and the Ether dominance at 17 and a half percent. And checking out the top 100 crypto gainers of the past 24 hours. We got Clayton up 11%, trading above 22 cents, followed by Gas up 10%, trading at $8.55, followed by Mantle up roughly 10%, trading just above 50 cents. Now, which altcoins, if any, are you most bullish on for this bull run? Let me know in the comments right down below. And checking out crypto bubbles so you can get a broader perspective and visual of the overall market right now on the day. We got a lot in the green, but many also correcting and in the red. And zooming out for the weekly, we have Blur up 47%, Tau up 45%. Even the native FTX token, FTT, is up a whopping 28%. And checking out on the monthly, virtually everything in the green, even Scam Token FTT up over 300%, wild, right? And checking out the crypto greed and fear index today, we are rated a 66, which is greed. Yesterday was a 62, last week was a 70, and last month a 66 in greed. So there you have it. My crypto fam, how many of you are currently bullish on the King crypto? Make some other frickin' noise. Let's get it. Now that we did the market watch, let's dive into our Bitcoin technical analysis. Check out the charts where the Bitcoin price action is most likely to go next. Here we go, and welcome. Bitcoin took a fresh aim at 38 Gs, baby, into November 23rd as an aggressive bid dispelled cold feet over Binance's $4.3 billion dollar fine, which is the seventh largest fine in the history of paying fines. And here you're looking at the Bitcoin one hour candle chart. Now my question is, where does all this money go that they collect? If they were smart, they would just gobble up some Bitcoin and stack sats. But I'd like to know what you think. Now data from Coin Telegraph and Trading View showed the price strength of Bitcoin making a striking comeback to top out at 37,870. Again, so close to 38,000, but a subsequent cooling kept the market near 37,500 with the mood markedly different from 24 hours prior. Then concerns over the US legal action against the largest exchange, Binance, sparked the cascade of long liquidations, which only ended at one week lows. Quoting Dan Crypto Trades, Bitcoin almost back at the top of the range. The 38,000 level remains my main level of interest. So all eyes right now on 38 G's. And I believe once we blow past that, the next resistance is going to be at roughly the $42,000 mark. I'm Josh Klein and I'm Elise Hu. We host a podcast from Accenture called Built for Change. Every part of every business is being reinvented right now. That means companies are facing brand new pressures to use fast evolving technologies and address shifting consumer expectations. But with big changes come even bigger opportunities. We've talked with leaders from every corner of the business world to learn how they're harnessing change to totally reinvent their companies and how you can do it to subscribe to Built for Change now so you don't miss an episode. Now, the bounce ended up equally impressive and appeared to catch some market participants by surprise with its intensity, quoting Ninja Bitcoin, some thick buy walls over here on the spot. Binance market have not seen such an aggressive bid for a while. Something is cooking. So what's cooking? You guys let me know. A popular narrative once again involved the potential U.S. go ahead for the Bitcoin spot ETF, something that could be less than 50 days away with the next big deadline being January 10th. So events at Binance were reported may have provided a timely backdrop for the first U.S. approval of the long awaited institutional investment product. Quoting Mr. Crypto, Grayscale updated their Bitcoin ETF app. There is definitely something going on. And I would agree, especially with all these meetings. Grayscale recently had a meeting with the SEC three days ago. BlackRock just had a meeting with the SEC. So there's ongoing dialogue, which is definitely a good omen that an ETF is likely to come sooner than later. And analyzing the situation, we have Pentoshi, who suggests that the stars might be aligning for the Bitcoin price upside thanks to the ETF induced demand. So regardless of the price action, he added the approval would mean the beginning of a substantial multi-decades trade fi allocation, putting him here on X. Here's a simple thesis game theory. Forty nine days until ETF. Many sideline people each passing day equals more pressure to allocate as the clock ticks. Tick tock. Next block dips possible, but the window is closing. Will it be a local top? Maybe. Will it be the beginning of a substantial multi-decades? You guys let me know. And we're going to discuss Samson Mao in great detail later on in the show. I pulled up some of his recent tweets and his bullishness, predicting the Bitcoin will surpass a million dollars days or weeks after the approval of the ETF. And once the money starts flowing in to these products, now let's discuss the RSI reset, boosting the short term bullish thesis eyeing the prospect of upside returning. We have cold blooded Schiller. What a username was amongst those bullish on the relative strength index, which is the RSI. These had been reset by a trip to the weekly lows, he concluded, paving the way for another impulse higher. This was the case not only for Bitcoin, but also for Ethereum and some other major alts quitting him here. The reason this is so important is that usually when the RSI is in this position, it's the basis for a fresh position. Strong trending markets tend to hold this level. Getting down towards that cool off region indicates that corrections are complete and the trend resumes as outlined here in this chart. Looking pretty bullish. This is the one day with the RSI. Again, the relative strength index. So let me know how many of you are currently bullish on the king crypto. And now let's take a look at the Thanksgiving Day Bitcoin price actions dating back from 2010. Now, by a sign of hands, how many of you were involved in Bitcoin back then was when it was only twenty eight cents? Probably not many of you. Right. But isn't that crazy? In 2010, Bitcoin was trading at twenty eight cents. The following year, we were trading at two dollars and forty nine cents. Then in 2012, I believe that was the year of the halving. It jumped to twelve dollars and fifty one cents. And again, this is on Thanksgiving Day specifically. Then in 2013, it went to eight hundred and thirteen dollars like, whoa. And I want to point out it's the year proceeding the halving. We had a halving in 2012, the year after parabolic to a whole new level. Eight hundred and thirteen dollars per coin. Good lord. Then in 2014, it was a bear market. Three seventy six, followed by in 2015, three hundred and twenty eight. Then the next Bitcoin halving occurred in 2016. It was seven hundred and thirty nine dollars. And look again, the year proceeding the halving in 2017, we hit almost nine thousand dollars per coin. Are you starting to notice the pattern the year after the halving? We go parabolic. Then in 2018 and 2019, we had bear markets. We had four thousand and seven thousand collectively. Then in 2020, another halving occurred. How many of you witness this halving of 2020? Let me know in the chat. We traded at almost twenty thousand dollars per coin. Then the year proceeding the halving. Check it out. It's like fifty eight thousand nine hundred and twenty seven dollars. So you start to notice the pattern, meaning in 2024, it's going to be a good year. But 2025 is going to be a hell of a year because the price action tends to go parabolic. So there you have it. My crypto fam, let me know which year you discovered Bitcoin and got into this incredible market. Without further ado, we still have so much to share. So let's dive into our next story of the day and discuss Bitcoin adoption in Argentina with their new pro Bitcoin president, Javier Malay. And shout out to Javier Malay, good guy right here, looking to abolish the central banks. He's speaking my language. This is a pretty long article, so I may just scroll through to some of the highlights right here. It says many Argentinas, Argentinians now look forward to sweeping reforms. Camillo de Leon, the vice president of Bitcoin Argentina, reminded the incoming president to keep his electoral promises, quoting him here. Bitcoin is for monetary freedom, and that was precisely one of the proposals of the president elect as Bitcoiners. We hope he fulfills his promise. Now we have some of the Bitcoin team from El Salvador also going to be flying down to meet Javier Malay and discuss the blueprint of Najib Bokele and El Salvador, as they're most likely to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender. Now, the news politics of Argentina or these are the new politics. His headline policies include blowing up the central bank. Let me know if he's speaking your language, fam, to prevent money printing, ditching the peso in favor of the US dollar. Another interesting take and scrapping almost every form of welfare in the country. The president elect confirm his future plan for government departments in a dramatic video circulating on social media. Here's what it said. Ministry of Sports and Tourism out, said Malay. Ministry of Culture out. Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development out. In the video, he punctuates every cut by tearing the name of the department off the whiteboard and tossing it aside. This guy is a trip, as it's shared here on talk TV. Argentina's new president and Donald Trump fan, Malay, has promised to radically change the country. Could he succeed and will he keep to his word is the million dollar question? What are your thoughts? Here's Malay's thoughts on the king crypto. While president elect Malay may embody a maverick spirit that appeals to bitcoiners and the ideological proclivities of the crypto sphere, that is not the same thing as actively supporting it. The president elect previously outlined why bitcoin is useful as a monetary instrument free from the state control. In a video posted to Reddit's Bitcoin thread 11 months ago, he stated that position, quoting him here. What is the point? The point is that the first thing we have to understand is that the central bank is a scam preach. It is a mechanism by which politicians cheat good people with inflationary tax. What bitcoin is representing is the return of money to its original creator, the private sector. Very powerful words. He also shares bitcoin is the natural reaction against central bank scammers and to make money private again. So let's make money private again. The new president may praise bitcoin as a financial instrument, but that is somewhat different from what a bitcoin advocate may wish for. Undoubtedly, there are those who hope Argentina will adopt bitcoin as a legal tender. Personally, I am hopeful this can occur in 2024. Now, Cointelegraph asked what the election of Malay means for the crypto advocates. And here's what he had to share. I don't believe this will drastically alter the current landscape. Argentines have been embracing bitcoin and other cryptos for many years. Let's not forget hyperinflation. Right. My hope is that in the long term. Argentina becomes more entrepreneur friendly, prosperous and free, helping to mend the significant cracks in the country's foundational structure. And he also added that widespread adoption of bitcoin across the nation may be slow if 50 percent of the citizens live below the poverty line and lack an understanding of savings concepts. I believe that could all be changed quick because bitcoin is banking the unbanked. How many people in Argentina are not qualified to open up a bank account, but all of them have a smartphone they can access bitcoin via the lightning network? Just saying. Now, as for the million dollar question, will bitcoin become legal tender in Argentina? According to this guy, Nicolik, he suggests legal tender certification may be marginally less important than it seems. According to him, here's what he shared. I am of the view that adoption is more robust when it emerges organically from the grassroots. Rather than being imposed top down, I am hopeful that bitcoin adoption in Argentina will continue to flourish, especially as the country's progresses under Malay's leadership and its people begin to experience improved living conditions. Now, the population of Argentina is way larger than El Salvador. We're talking about roughly 50 million residents. Now, it also shares the economics of Argentina. And what else that we hear? Who is Javier Malay? But let me just read this tweet from Cristalina Georgia Eva, if I'm pronouncing that correctly. Congratulations to the president elect, Javier Malay. We look forward to working closely with him and his administration in the period ahead to develop and implement a strong plan to safeguard macroeconomic stability and strengthen inclusive growth for all Argentines. Now, Max Kaiser shared this. President Bukele is the beginning of this new trend of reinventing the social contract and making bitcoin a legal tender. Javier Malay will tell you the same. The Bitcoin El Salvador team is looking forward to our diplomatic mission to Argentina to establish a renewed cooperation. Now, leave it up to Max. There's no doubt in my mind he will orange pill Malay and Malay will adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender if he truly is who he says he is. And Max was actually responding to this quote. There is every reason to believe Malay is just the beginning of a new trend that could spread all over the world. People are fed up and are ready for a radical new direction. Something has to be done to stop the relentless march of the forces of tyranny and the Western nations preach. So there you have it. Let me know if you feel Argentina and Javier Malay will likely adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender as 50 million people get introduced to Bitcoin. Let's freaking go. Happy Thanksgiving. You guys are lit. Let's go. Let's dive into our next story of the day as Bitcoin price action continues to pump. We're finally back in the green on the day. Let's go. Now let's discuss BlackRock ETF with the SEC. They just had a meeting with them and Grayscale just had a meeting with them as well to discuss this dialogue. So let's break down the insights. What's going on behind closed doors? Here we go. Representatives from BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, controls roughly 10 trillion in assets under management. And the NASDAQ met with the United States SEC to discuss the proposed rule allowing the listing of a spot Bitcoin ETF. Now some say that BlackRock is the United States government because of how powerful they are. Let me know if you agree with that. According to a November 20th SEC memo, BlackRock provided a presentation detailing how the firm could use an in kind or in cash redemption model for its iShares Bitcoin trust. Now it's currently unclear how the SEC officials responded to the two proposed models or if they intend to approve the spot Bitcoin ETF after numerous delays and rejections. And quoting the ETF analyst from Bloomberg, James Safart, he says, looks like BlackRock also met with the SEC. There is a couple of slides in relation to in kind versus cash creation based on the looks of it. Looks like Bitcoin or I'm sorry, BlackRock prefers in kind for the Bitcoin ETF makes sense as it probably is the cleanest structure for them and for the end investors. And as he shared here prior, Grayscale also had meetings with the SEC division of trading and markets yesterday. This was posted on the 22nd, so this probably occurred on the I think it was on the 20th. Have also heard rumblings of other potential spot Bitcoin ETF issuers meeting with the SEC in the last week or so. So Gary Gensler must be busy. Now, many reports have suggested that the SEC could be nearing its decision on the spot Bitcoin ETF for a listing in the U.S. markets. About time. We've only been waiting over a decade now. If approved, it would mean one of the most significant positive trends towards mainstream crypto adoption. SEC officials also met with Grayscale reps November 20th in the firm's bid for listing the Bitcoin ETF. And if you don't know, Grayscale, they're the owner of the GBTC product, which is a Bitcoin trust that currently custodies over six hundred and twenty thousand BTC, making them the largest Bitcoin hodler in the entire world. Now, BlackRock is one of the many firms which spot crypto ETF apps in the SEC pipeline, currently awaiting a response, including Fidelity, Wisdom Tree, Invesco, Galaxy, Valkyrie, VanEck and Bitwise. The asset management company first applied for a listing of the spot Bitcoin ETF back in June on the NASDAQ stock exchange. And since then, Bitcoin has been pumping like a mofo. You already know. In a video of the SEC chairman, Gary Gensler from 2019 resurfaced in October in which he criticized the commission's inconsistent approach to spot Bitcoin products. It is unclear whether the SEC chair will get behind efforts for crypto linked investment vehicles, but the commission has previously approved ETFs tied to Bitcoin and Ethereum futures and things that make you go, hmm, why are they so quick to approve futures ETFs for Bitcoin and Ethereum? But yet we haven't had a Bitcoin spot in over a decade from the time the Winklevoss twins handed in the first application for the spot to the SEC. It's because they know damn right, as soon as we get that green light, it's going to usher in billions and eventually trillions into the market. The total adjustable market is north of seven hundred trillion dollars. And according to Samson Mao, we could get like a one million dollar Bitcoin price days or weeks after the institutional money starts flowing into the ETFs. This is why I feel Gary don't want to give the green light because he's allowing his homeboys, the black rocks, the fidelities and all of these massive asset managers to stack sats to seed their ETF products at these prices, such as thirty seven thousand, because after the news breaks, I mean, would you rather seed your Bitcoin ETF at a thirty seven thousand Bitcoin or a hundred thousand plus? Yeah, I mean, to me, that's common sense. But let me know your thoughts, crypto fam. Now let's break down our next story of the day and discuss spot Bitcoin ETFs now that we have the Binance CEO CZ officially stepped down, paying that four point three billion dollar settlement to the SEC. Is this officially the green light we have been waiting for to get the approval? Let's discuss it. Binance's four point three billion settlement with the US SEC was the final hurdle before the country's securities regulator approves the spot Bitcoin ETF. Many industry watchers claim the settlement involved Binance agreeing to the Justice Department and Treasury compliance monitors for up to five years, allowing the agency's sweeping power to keep the exchange in line with anti money laundering and sanctions rules, amongst other things. The US SEC and Commission has cited market manipulation when denying spot Bitcoin ETFs and Binance's market dominance has had to take a hit before BlackRock spot Bitcoin ETF app would be approved, according to this post by Travis Cling, chief investment officer of IKI asset management, quoting him here. There is no chance, and I mean zero, that this ETF is approved with Binance in its current position of market dominance. And what's interesting, he initially made this post all the way back several months ago. He also said if this ETF is approved, Binance has either gone entirely or their role in price discovery is massively diminished. So here we go. And he shared here, let me read this post from November 21st, a lot of is the US government. They have also received approval on five hundred and seventy five out of five hundred and seventy six ETF applications. One thing I'll say, there is no chance, and I mean zero, that the ETF will be approved with Binance in the way. Well, now Binance is officially out of the way. And interestingly enough, their new CEO is a member of the World Economic Forum. Hmm. Now, Cling's predictions sparked others to consider how closely BlackRock works with the U.S. government to obtain the favorable position in the spot Bitcoin ETF market. YouTuber Colin Talks Crypto said it was suspect that Binance's settlement happened right before a Bitcoin ETF comes out. I don't believe it's coincidence either. What are your thoughts, crypto fam? Quitting him here, it is what is it a way for BlackRock to acquire massive amounts of Bitcoin for cheap? Is it a way to remove competition from the U.S. markets right before the ETFs go live? I mean, great question. He also shares here, does it seem fishy to anyone else that Binance is being found guilty of money laundering right before a Bitcoin ETF comes out? Is there any connection? And for example, and I'll read you some more of his tweet over here on X, is it? Yeah. And I just read actually some of those. Or is there no connection at all? I'm reading too much into this. I have learned to be very suspicious of government motives and I don't blame them. I think you should be very suspicious and question everything personally. He also shares also how does the U.S. have any right to find Binance guilty of anything? Binance isn't even located in the United States. Shouldn't his own country be charging him? USA's overreach is frightening. Yes, according to the Department of Justice, because investors located in the United States were still able to use the exchange. So therefore that's how they got him allegedly here for that money laundering. Now, others noted BlackRock and his viral Vanguard together own eleven and a half percent of Binance's top competitor Coinbase. Things get even more interesting and speculated that the action against Binance may have been planned. Yes, I would say so. BlackRock met with the SEC November 20th and presented how it could use an in kind or in cash redemption model for the spot Bitcoin ETF using the I shares Bitcoin trust. Now, according to Andrew, he says Binance and the Department of Justice settlement, the SEC spot Bitcoin ETF approvals are mutuals just like that. Let me know if you agree. Grayscale, as I mentioned, also met with the regulator on the same day discussing its bid to list the spot Bitcoin ETF. Also, we have Fidelity worth four and a half trillion. We have Wisdom Tree, Invesco, Galaxy, Valkyrie, Vanek and Bitwise also awaiting the SEC approval for their spot Bitcoin funds. Now, Mike Novogratz, the CEO of digital asset investment firm Galaxy Digital, said the Binance settlement is super bullish for the crypto industry. Not everyone sees the point in guessing if the Binance news will lead to the spot Bitcoin ETF approvals. So let me know. Do you feel we now have a clean path for them to launch these spot ETFs? Please do let me know. We have so much more to cover. So let's discuss the super cycle of 2024, the cycle to end them all. Here we go. Now, this is a long 12 minute story. So I'm not going to read it all to you, but let's just go to some of the highlights and you can check it out on your own as I include the resources from every live show in the show notes below the video in the description for you guys to check it out. I just want to fast forward to the meat and potatoes moving forward versus studying the past. But as you know, you study the past to get an idea of where we're heading. That, my friend, is a fact. So I guess they're comparing Bitcoin to the dot com technology bubble of 1992 to 1994. What does this mean for Bitcoin? Let's talk about it. According to Chainalysis, there is no sugarcoating it. Worldwide grassroots crypto adoption is down. However, as stated, lower middle income countries like India, Nigeria and the Ukraine have seen increased adoption. That's what's up. And this is the only category of countries who total grassroots adoption remains above where it was in quarter three of 2020, just before the most recent bull market, according to the report. And let me scroll down even a little further share of the North American transaction volume by asset type. You can see stable coins, altcoins and Ethereum versus the King BTC. But let's break this down. Chances are it's super early in this cycle. While Dan Held introduced the idea of a Bitcoin supercycle, he had frequently said that people are still early in terms of getting into stack and sats. And while increased institutional adoption may give Bitcoin a rise in fiat value and greater routes for investment, all the following elements must be in play for a supercycle to be full swing. First and foremost, institutional demand. And guess what? We absolutely got that one. Assuming BlackRock and other financial powerhouses are granted to spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US, which we all know is a given, the amount of investment from institutions and family offices, sovereign wealth funds and high net worth individuals can give Bitcoin support in raising the fiat value to a certain level. Galaxy Digital, for example, predicts this will bring Bitcoin up to around that 59000 level. Well, the next story I share with you in a bit is going to be discussing Bitcoin surpassing a million dollars just due to this institutional demand. So don't sleep on this catalyst. Next up, we have the supply. The next Bitcoin halving event will occur in roughly five months in April at block height, eight hundred and forty thousand and almost 97 percent of all the existing Bitcoin will have been mined. The final Bitcoin, just FYI, will officially be mined in the year 2140. This means the supply part of the supercycle equation is checked, even if grassroots demand stay the same. This would indicate a higher fiat price. Still, as we've seen in previous cycles, a price increase will likely increase demand, at least in the short term due to fear of missing out. Better known as FOMO like a mofo. And the next catalyst is the adoption. While some may buy Bitcoin for number go up reasons, it's actual use will give it long term value proposition. It is yet unknown whether Americans economic and sociopolitical climate will nudge people to adopt Bitcoin as a medium of exchange or a store of value or a hedge against inflation or deflation because Bitcoin is the ultimate hedge. But what are the probabilities of a twenty twenty four Bitcoin supercycle banks? This is the million dollar question right here. Billionaire, venture capitalist and serial blockchain investor Tim Draper thought the possibilities were for twenty twenty four Bitcoin supercycle. According to him, I think it will be the following cycle when we can run our business unimpeded by regular uncertainty, regulatory uncertainty where we can buy our food, clothing, shelter and taxes all in Bitcoin. Then we have Julian Linger, CEO of Bitcoin only exchange Relay, who shared that the generally increasing interest in the asset Bitcoin means a significantly higher demand and also added the factors like a loss of confidence in fiat currencies preach as that money printer continue to go increased banking oversight and the collapse of exchanges like FTX only strengthen the Bitcoin narrative with BlackRock and other major players on board. I also think it is not unlikely we'll see a radical one hundred and eighty degree turn in public perception of Bitcoin instead of a speculative asset that consumes as much electricity as entire countries. Bitcoin could soon be a safe haven, promoting the transition to renewable energies preach. And we also have the big get CEO, Gracie Chen, who shared in order for the supercycle to happen, the market needs ample funds to counter negative sentiments. Firstly, reestablishing easy access channels between traditional finance and crypto markets, especially after the suppression of three crypto friendly banks. And secondly, global governments, including the US, must officially recognize Bitcoin assets as equal to gold and stocks. Well, we all know it's superior. Just saying this involves removing restrictions on the trading and holding a Bitcoin for the general public, such as introducing a spot Bitcoin ETF. Mr. Gensler, where you at? Such integration with traditional finance provides the foundation for widespread Bitcoin adoption, creating favorable conditions for the Bitcoin supercycle to materialize. So there you have it. My crypto fam, what are your thoughts on a Bitcoin supercycle? And what if we hit a double top? What if we hit five hundred thousand dollars for the cycle peak like, whoa, let me know your thoughts, fam. So now let's break down our breaking story of the day. Samson now is predicting the Bitcoin price to surpass a million dollars per coin after the ETF approval and the money starts entering the crypto space. I'm also going to break down his math as well as his predictions on what countries will likely adopt Bitcoin next as legal tender over the course of the next five years. So massive shout out to the one and only Samson. Now, let's start here. He tweeted, it has come to my attention that there are some Bitcoiners that don't think Bitcoin can reach a million dollars per coin in a matter of days or weeks after the ETF money starts to flow in. They're in for a pleasant surprise. And you can see the sentiment on that. People are lit. Shout out, British huddle, huddle nut and the rest of y'all. He also shares here, we will see a seismic shift to Bitcoin and sound money. The next five years will be incredible. Here's his predictions on which countries are likely to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender next. Guatemala in twenty twenty three. Let's go. Argentina in twenty twenty three. Send it. We have the Bitcoin halving next year, which we all know set to occur in roughly five months. El Salvador twenty twenty four. Panama. Well, we know El Salvador already has Bitcoin as legal tender. Panama. Twenty twenty four. Mexico. That's one of my predictions. One of the next countries adopt Bitcoin as legal tender. Canada. Could you imagine that by twenty twenty five? He says it could be this year, potentially next year. Peru. Let's freaking go. Twenty twenty six. And Nicaragua by twenty twenty six. Shout out Nicaragua. I used to live in Costa Rica and we used to make our visa runs in Nicaragua as I lived in the north of Costa Rica. And of course, we have Panama on the south of Costa Rica, all neighbors of El Salvador as well. Latin America. Let's freaking go. Now, which countries do you agree are likely to adopt Bitcoin as the legal tender in the years to come? Please let me know in that live chat. He also shares here a reminder. The ETF approvals will unlock a tidal wave of capital influx into Bitcoin. Pair that with the multiplier effect and you get a million. Dollar BTC. And he initially shared another tweet December 3rd of twenty twenty one. That was the year we hit the all time high. And he said approval of a spot ETF will send Bitcoin to a million per coin. And again, he predicted this two years ago, over a few days, a few days. That means right after Gary and the SEC don't want to be the ones responsible for sending Bitcoin to the moon. And this was off the back of Congressman Tom Emmer's tweet here. Gary Gensler, I'm still waiting on your response to our November 3rd letter asking you to make sense of why Bitcoin future ETFs are allowed to trade, but not Bitcoin spot ETFs. And he makes a great point. So, Mr. Gensler, what are you doing? Why are you suppressing the growth of the entire industry by not allowing spot ETFs, but you allow futures like it ain't no thing? And Preston Pisch responded because Goldman, Gary and you got to remember, Gary Gensler comes from Goldman Sachs. You got to remember, Gary was already worth hundreds of millions of dollars from Goldman Sachs before he became the chairman of the SEC. Gary needs to let his boys manipulate those cash settled derivatives as long as he can. Preach. Shout out to Preston Pisch. And let's go back to some more Samson Mao tweets. What effect does a 250 billion dollar inflow into Bitcoin have over a period of days or weeks given the incredibly inelastic supply of Bitcoin and the limited quantities available on the exchanges? I'd say numbers go up and you can see here, let's do the math. Total assets under management of spot Bitcoin ETF applicants. Twenty five trillion dollars. You times that by a one percent allocation, which is point zero one. You can run the math in your calculator times that by one hundred and eighteen, which is the multiplier factor. Divide that by twenty one million Bitcoin, which is the total supply. And we get a one point four million dollar Bitcoin price. Let me know if you agree or disagree with some of this math and massive shout out to Samson. Now, he also shares here in twenty seventeen, it took nine months for Bitcoin to go from one thousand to twenty thousand. That's right. In twenty seventeen, I was there. I witnessed it firsthand. How many of you the same? The block subsidy was twelve point five. There was a lot more Bitcoin sloshing around on the exchanges. Mining was boiling the oceans and there was zero institutional money coming in. One thousand to twenty thousand is twenty X, fifty thousand to one million is twenty X. So is it really that far fetched that we hit a million dollar Bitcoin price? Considering we've already seen a sixty nine thousand dollar all time high, I think Samson now does a great job breaking down this math. Let me know if you guys agree or disagree. And we also have the Church of Bitcoin consciousness. Shout out to Bitcoin as hope. He says, I predict by this time next year Bitcoin will hit no less than a million dollars per coin and possibly as high as seven million. Now we're talking hits from the hopium bong. Let's freaking go, because all the money and banker racketeers have created has to disappear somewhere and Bitcoin just happens to be the perfect toilet for that preach. Very well said. Let me know if you agree or disagree with these analysts and let me dive deeper into Bitcoin, hitting a million dollars post ETF approval, shall we? We all know the Bitcoin price. The next logical target is going to be forty two thousand, in my opinion, once we break this 38 K resistance, there's not a lot in between there as far as resistance is concerned. And we also have Bitcoin Jack explaining the week's finance and ETF news had failed to reshape market dynamics, putting him here, expected any rumor on a Binance versus U.S. resolution to be more bullish than the price reflex on top of the generally bullish headlines last week minus crack. And though much of it is more of the same earlier crackdown language recycled, introducing potential downside targets. So we know the upside target is going to be forty two thousand. The downside can be 30. But we have some analysts like on chain analyst Willy Woo, who is very skeptical that we ever return to a sub thirty thousand dollar Bitcoin price action ever again. Let me know your thoughts. Here's what this other analyst says. Sometimes that what doesn't happen is the tell high timeframe supporters below our clean buy level if it comes potential top here or another leg to forty two thousand with support between twenty nine and thirty one. But now let's discuss this million dollar target because it's a lot more exciting, isn't it? In its most recent social media survey, Phil Phil, co-founder of Trading Suite, decent trader, shut up to Phil Phil Phil and Philip Swift, asked followers whether Bitcoin can hit forty thousand or thirty first. The result was a near fifty fifty split. What are your thoughts, fam? I think Bitcoin is more likely to reach clearly forty thousand than thirty as we're pumping. There's so much bullishness in the market. And even with the largest exchange in the world emitting money laundering, their CEO and stepping down, it hasn't barely affected the Bitcoin price action. We climb right back within twenty four hours. And then, of course, we have the one and only Samson Mao, the CEO of Bitcoin adoption firm Jan three, who's making big moves in the industry, suggesting Bitcoin can not only hit a million per coin, but it could be a result of the approval that the hodlers were mistaking and predicting any less. As he shared here, it has come to my attention. There are some Bitcoiners. Do you know any that don't think Bitcoin can reach a million dollars in a matter of days or weeks after the ETF money starts to flow in? They're in for a pleasant surprise. So there you have it. My crypto fam, let me know if you agree or disagree that these mofos who are bearish or perma bears are going to be in for a hell of a surprise. "Yo, what's good, crypto fam? This is first and foremost, a video show. So if you want the full premium experience with video, visit my YouTube channel at Cryptonewsalerts.net. Again, that's Crypto News Alerts dot net. Welcome, everyone, for tuning in. This is Pod episode number fourteen hundred and sixty one. I'm your host, JV. And today is November 14th, twenty twenty three. Lots of news to cover with you. Let's kick it off with our market watch. We can see Bitcoin consolidating down four percent on the day, trading just above thirty five thousand four hundred dollars. We have Ether down almost six percent, just under two thousand dollars, while BNB, XRP, Cardano all pulling back. Now they say when in doubt, zoom out. So let's look at the past 30 days and let's not forget Bitcoin still up thirty two percent, trading at thirty five thousand four hundred. We're still up roughly, I'd say one hundred and twenty percent from the beginning of the year. And again, we're just getting this party started. We're only halfway through Moonvember. You can see Ethereum is also up twenty seven and a half percent. We got BNB up sixteen percent. XRP up almost twenty nine percent. Cardano up forty one percent and Solano, one of the top gainers in the top cryptos for the month, up a whopping one hundred and fifty percent plus and checking out coin market cap dot com. The current crypto market cap sits at one point three six trillion dollars, with roughly sixty eight billion in volume in the past 24 hours. We've got the Bitcoin dominance at fifty one percent even and the Ethereum dominance at seventeen and a half percent. And checking out the top one hundred crypto gainers of the past 24 hours. Yes, Celestia leading the pack again, up a whopping one hundred and sixty six percent for the week, up eighteen percent for the day, trading at six dollars and ten cents, followed by ETH, DY, DX up almost twelve percent, trading at three dollars and forty nine cents, followed by Casper up seven percent, trading just above. Looks like eight point eight cents. Now, which alt coins are you currently most bullish on for this bull cycle? Please do let me know in that live chat. And don't forget, this is a live and interactive show. So let me know where you're tuning in from, what you're most excited about. And don't forget about that live poll there in the chat and checking out crypto bubbles. We can see the top gainers for the day. Only a handful with TIA and ETH, DY, DX, CAKE and RLB and Solano's barely in the green along with costs. And if we look for the past month, we can see virtually everything is in the green, which ultimately means the market cap has been climbing in the past 30 days. A rising tide rises all ships and virtually every single altcoin is in the green. But currently for the daily and the weekly, we're consolidating just a little bit and checking out the crypto greed and fear index shows we're currently rated a 69 in greed yesterday, 72 last week, a 68 and last month, a 45 in fear. So there you have it. What are you guys doing during this current dip? Are you stacking sats or are you just waiting for moon? Let me know in that chat. Good day to stack sats. I'd say that every single day, but especially when there is a four percent discount on the market because, you know, Bitcoin is about to rip. So let's freaking go. But without further ado, we saw so much to cover. So let's dive into today's Bitcoin technical analysis. Check out the charts where the Bitcoin price action is likely to go next. Let it rip. Let's freaking go. Here we go. Bitcoin targeted thirty seven thousand dollars at the November 14th Wall Street open as the U.S. inflation data undercut expectations right here. You're looking at the Bitcoin one hour candle chart. Now let's discuss CPI data from Cointelegraph and TradingView showed Bitcoin strength returning to the CPI reflected, slowing inflation in October. CPI came in point one percent below the market forecast, both on the year on year and month on month. The annual change was three point two percent versus four percent for core CPI, quoting the Bureau of Labor Statistics right here in an official press release. The all items index rose three point two percent for the 12 months ending October, a smaller increase than the three point seven percent increase for the 12 months ending September. It also shared that the all items less food and energy index rose four percent over the last 12 months, its smallest 12 month change since the period ending in September of 2021. So there you have it. So versus the month over where CPI was just one inflation metric which overshot versus market consensus, the situation was probably different. The stocks immediately offered a warm reaction at the Wall Street open, but the S &P 500 up a modest one and a half percent for the day. This is the 31st consecutive month with inflation above three percent. But inflation seems to be back on the decline, according to the Kibisi letter. Now, Kibisi, traditionally skeptical of the Fed policy in the current inflationary environment, nonetheless called the print a good result. Now, in line with other recent CPI releases. Meanwhile, Bitcoin reacted only modestly, revisiting an intraday low before rising towards thirty seven thousand dollars while still range bound and analyzing market composition. We have on chain monitoring resource material indicators noting that liquidity was overall pretty thin, a key ingredient for aiding the volatility. And with the whales quiet on the exchanges that added retail investors were increasing their Bitcoin exposure. I say especially the whales follow the smart money fam quitting them here. It is no coincidence that the two smallest order classes are buying. It commented alongside the print for the order book liquidity on Binance. They also shared upside liquidity around the active trading zone is so thin that the whales can't make large orders without major slippage. Watching the smallest order classes on the fire charts, CVD bid Bitcoin up as support strengthens above thirty six thousand dollars. Now let's discuss the Bitcoin price retracements, according to another analyst down around four percent from the 18 month high seen earlier in the month where we touched thirty seven thousand nine hundred ninety nine dollars before correcting the Bitcoin price action. Still impressed market participants who argued that come downs within the broader uptrend were not only standard but pretty appropriate. Quoting crypto slate here, Bitcoin already down four and a half percent from the highs. Bull market corrections are normal and healthy preach. He also points out could see up to 20 percent drawdowns from profit taking or liquidations. This is a normal occurrence and has been seen in previous cycles. So be prepared for all scenarios. Fan and Van Stratton, precise crypto slate analysis from November 13th suggests that deeper Bitcoin price corrections can still come, given Bitcoin was up one hundred and twenty percent thus far year to date. As shared here, it's important to note that market corrections are a normal part of any financial cycle contributing to the overall health of the market. Now, Philby Philby, the co-founder of Trading Suite, decent trader, likewise predicted Bitcoin can see a significant drawdown prior to the April twenty twenty four block subsidy halving event scheduled to take place in roughly five months. If you're pretty pumped for that Bitcoin halving, please do let me know. Also breaking news just in out of Hong Kong, their base gaming company, Boya, intends to buy forty five million dollars worth of Bitcoin as a treasury asset. Let's go. There's also a lot of news coming out of Hong Kong that they could be launching a spot Bitcoin ETF. We all know competition is a beautiful thing and maybe that'll spark a fire under Gary Gensler, the chairman of the SEC's. But just saying, let me know your thoughts and shout out to Hong Kong. Beautiful place to be. Also more breaking news just in BlackRock says that USDT, the largest stablecoin in the world and USDC stablecoins pose a risk to Bitcoin, which is very interesting for them to come out and say that there has to be some logic behind it. Do you think BlackRock and Larry Fink are going to be launching their own stablecoin? Things that make you go, hmm. Now, on chain analysts, William Clemente, responded with the following BlackRock flooding their own investments, referring to circle USDC in before they launched their own stablecoin. Remember, it's only business. That's right. And quoting Kevin O'Leary, he's bringing up big news as well. He says the day of the crypto cowboys are over. He says Abu Dhabi's M2 exchange is exactly what this industry has been searching for, an exchange that is regulated backed by billions of dollars and tied to huge financial institutions. This is very promising for the crypto industry. Now, there's also rumors we could be seeing an ETF coming out of the Middle East, just like one is going to be coming out of the United States and Hong Kong. Now, could it be Abu Dhabi? Could it be Dubai? You let me know your thoughts, fam, because, like I said, competition is a beautiful thing. And quoting the high priest of Bitcoin, Max Keiser, the central banks have lost control, thanks to Bitcoin. Traditional nation states have lost control, thanks to Bitcoin. The one half second preconsciousness where reality is formed is obliterating our collective consciousness. The Bitcoin singularity is upon us. So there you have it. Let me know if you agree or disagree with the high priest of Bitcoin, Max Keiser. Let's freaking go. I still have so much to cover with you today. So let's continue with where we left off and let's break down our next story of the day and discuss some potential Bitcoin price targets on the horizon for short term and long term. Let's break this baby down. First and foremost, we're going to be discussing forty eight thousand as a short term target. Here we go. Bitcoin remains on track to near fifty thousand per coin around next year's block subsidy halving, according to analysts Philby Philby in his latest interview, the co-founder of trading suite Decent Trader shares his thoughts on the Bitcoin price action. So here we go. Bitcoin has well and truly cemented its exit from the sub thirty thousand trading range, which characterized the market for much of twenty twenty three, according to Philby Philby. Now, having overcome a multitude of resistance levels, the question for the Bitcoin bulls now is how high and how the price action will turn into the April twenty twenty four, less than five months left remaining until this big event. Philby Philby argues that a reasonable bullish target can lie at just below that fifty thousand dollar mark. Let me know if you agree or disagree with the analysts. This echoes assumptions from his previous interview in early September when Bitcoin was trading just shy of twenty six thousand. That said, a drawdown can easily come first, testing the morale of those who might already be used to the Bitcoin price upside and continue reading to discover what the coming months can have in store for Bitcoin from a technical perspective. Here are some of the questions he was asked. Do you think the Bitcoin has definitely broken out of its previous range below thirty thousand? And how would you gauge the strength of the various moving averages that previously acted as resistance? Here's what the analysts responded with. The twenty to fifty, the one hundred and two hundred week simple moving averages are well around all thirty thousand at the moment. They also lie toward the top of the trading range below thirty thousand and above twenty five thousand in which Bitcoin spent two hundred days or so. So the two combined would suggest that there will be buying interest below and together are a strong indicator of a breakout and trend change from the two year bear market as outlined right here in this chart. Next question they ask, what's your timeline for Bitcoin ETF approval and what do you think the event will do to the price action? He responded, my view on the ETF remains the same, which is that it will continue to be delayed as long as possible. You can thank no Claire Gehr for that one, fam, but a spot ETF is inevitable. The major players are not wasting their time, and so it continues to be a matter of when. Amen. Now, given their position on the market manipulation, I wouldn't be surprised to see the approval intentionally come from left field when you're least expecting it. Be prepared for the unexpected. He was also asked, where do you now draw the point of control in the Bitcoin price chart? What resistance in which support levels are you watching? He responded, this really depends upon the time frame. The last couple of years suggests twenty six thousand is an important point of control. But over the last six months, it would suggest closer to twenty seven thousand. There is resistance between thirty eight and forty one thousand. A lot of volume was traded there before many of the implosions we saw amongst crypto entities. Some people will exit. Some will consider redeploying capital under a new environment. There is a clear area of contention and also mention you are eyeing a Bitcoin price boost as part of a pre having action in quarter four. Has that perspective change much since? And some are concerned that quarter one of twenty twenty four might have the opposite effect. Philby Philby responded, I think it's fair to say that we have seen the price appreciation in quarter four. The cyclical model implies that quarter one twenty twenty four could pull back before another run into the having now a sixty one point eight percent Fibonacci retracement of the bear market. Forty six to forty eight thousand dollars per Bitcoin would be a reasonable technical target assumption from a bullish perspective, in my opinion. So there you have it. Let me know if you agree or disagree with the analysts that around the time of the having Bitcoin could be at roughly forty six to forty eight thousand dollars per coin. And now I promise you a more bullish long term perspective coming from another analyst by the name of Henrik Zaberg. He shares here Bitcoin may soar to one hundred and seventy to one hundred eighty thousand per coin with a minimal target of one hundred and fifteen thousand per BTC. Yes, a recession will hit the economy and risk assets will be crushed, but not yet. For now, risk assets include Bitcoin will soar. Stay bearish all you like, but you're on the wrong side of the market. Tune in to the Zaborg report. And here he has it right here in this chart, shows you a bullish scenario playing out for Bitcoin where we can tend to 11x the current price action. Let me know if you agree or disagree with the analysts. Now, hypothetically speaking, if the Bitcoin price were to do a 10x from here, then we're realistically speaking about a three hundred and fifty thousand dollar Bitcoin price. Let me know your thoughts, fam. So now we broke down this hundred and eighty thousand price target. Now let's discuss a fake news report which sent XRP soaring and then dumping simultaneously right after. There's still a lot of controversy around this story. So let's discuss is BlackRock planning on launching an XRP ETF? Let's break this baby down. Let's go. A BlackRock filing suggesting the asset manager was creating an XRP ETF caused a 12 percent spike in XRP, which it quickly lost after the filing was confirmed fake. Now, the SAT saga lasted about an hour on November 13th as users on X picked up the Delaware filing showing BlackRock filed to register the iShares XRP trust, a precursor to launch in an exchange traded fund. Now, XRP gained 12 percent spike in the 73 cents within 30 minutes of the news of the filing. However, it lost all of those gains in half an hour after it was confirmed to be a fake by Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunes, who said he spoke directly to BlackRock and they denied the rumor. Now, Balchunes speculated that someone listed the XRP trust on the Delaware list of corporations website by impersonating BlackRock managing director Daniel Schwager, quoting him here. This is false. Confirmed by BlackRock by me. Some wacko must have been added using BlackRock executive name. Come on, man. Now, Bitcoin magazine analyst on chain analyst Dylan LeClair was one of the first to initially break the news. Balchunes and the block also shared the listing on X and now deleted posts. BlackRock signaled its intention to expand beyond Bitcoin with its ETF aspirations after the firm filed for a spot Ethereum ETF on November 9th, just a few days back, which actually destroyed the pump when we were about to cross 38000 as some of the market share went right into Ethereum. Just FYI. Now, in light of the fake listing, Safart reiterated that the spot ether ETF is real and it was officially confirmed via the 19 before submission by the NASDAQ to the United States SEC, as he shared here on X. Now, I mean, you guys let me know, do you think this XRP listing could be a precursor and they could be listing something or do you think it's just a fake rumor to fake out the entire market? I'd love to know your thoughts in the comments right down below. Clearly, BlackRock is the largest asset manager in the world. Here's what we know for sure. They're coming for your Bitcoin. They're coming for your Ethereum. That's already a done deal. But what other altcoins could they be coming for? Do you think they will eventually launch a XRP ETF, Solana ETF or what others? Please do let me know. Just like kind of grayscale. You know, they have the GBTC product, which holds over six hundred and twenty thousand Bitcoin, and they have a plethora of different, you know, coins to invest in as well. So I'm curious, do you think BlackRock is coming after all of them or just the top ones? Please do let me know. And do you think they're likely to launch their own stablecoin now that they're already talking smack about USDT and USDC? Let me know your honest thoughts in the comments right down below. Which alts are you most bullish on? And let's continue. There's still lots of news to share with you. So now let's break down everything regarding the Ethereum ETF, which we just got the big news this week that BlackRock is going after your Ethereum. So let's discuss it. BlackRock outlines why the SEC must approve Spot Ethereum ETFs. Here we go. BlackRock, largest asset manager with 10 trillion has argued that the US SEC must approve Spot Ether ETFs like the one it seeks to launch. The NASDAQ stock market filed with the SEC to list and trade shares of BlackRock Spot ETF called the iShares Ethereum Trust last week after the asset manager registered the fund with Delaware's division of corporations, which we shared here on the show. Now, in its SEC filing, the NASDAQ stock market LLC detailed that the sponsor of BlackRock Spot Ether ETF is iShares Delaware Trust sponsor LLC, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of BlackRock. And in addition, Coinbase Custody Trust Company is the custodian for the trust's ether holdings, quoting them here to this point, the lack of an ETF, which is an exchange traded product that holds spot ether exposes U.S. investor assets to significant risk because investors that would otherwise see crypto asset exposure through a Spot Eth ETP are forced to find alternative exposure through generally riskier means, according to the NASDAQ, emphasizing the following approval of a Spot Ether ETP would represent a major win for the protection of U.S. investors in the crypto asset space. Hey, we just need ETPs and ETF spot already. We're sick of the futures. We don't need more and more futures. Right now, in summary, both the exchange and the sponsor believe that this proposal and the included analysis are sufficient to establish that the CME futures market represents a regulated market of significant size as it relates both to the CME futures market and to the spot ether market, and that it is a proposal should be approved. According to the filing, NASDAQ also noted that the sponsor believes the differences between the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933 and the surveillance sharing available for the CME futures market and the spot ether market are not meaningful in the context of base ETF and ETP proposals. However, in a recent case of Grayscale Investments versus the SEC, the court found that approved Bitcoin future ETPs, but disapproved the Grayscale's proposal to convert its Bitcoin trust GBTC to a spot Bitcoin ETF. The court subsequently vacated the SEC's disapproval order. Now, NASDAQ noted October 2nd, the SEC approved nine Ethereum futures ETFs for trade and quoting them here, given that the commission has approved ETFs that offer exposure to ETH futures, which themselves are priced based on the underlying spot Ethereum market. The sponsor believes that the commission must also approve ETPs that offer exposure to spot ETH, just like the trust, according to the exchange concluding the following. The sponsor believes that the commission's approval of ETH futures ETFs must and means it must also approve spot ether ETPs like the trust. I mean, the same argument with Bitcoin. If you're going to accept and allow all the futures ETFs, you've got to eventually accept the spot ETF, which is what the investors truly want, right? Now, BlackRock also has an application with the SEC for a spot Bitcoin ETF, which we know in October their CEO, Lawrence Fink, said there is a strong demand and pent up interest in crypto. He previously said that crypto will transcend any one currency, amen, and that BlackRock seeks to democratize crypto. Fink also sees Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation and currency devaluation. So there you have it, my crypto fam. Let me know if you agree or disagree with the sentiment of BlackRock that the SEC must approve Ethereum ETFs. And what about the Bitcoin ETFs? Let me know as well. All right, guys, I still got some more breaking stories and news to share with you. So let's continue with where we left off. Our next story, we're going to be discussing the ETF deadlines. There is a window open right now until the 17th. We have three more days. There's still a potential possibility from left field that Gary Gensler approves all one dozen ETF applications on the table on his desk right now. So let's break this down. Now, again, this isn't likely to happen, but it can happen. So we must discuss it. The US SEC could approve all 12 pending spot Bitcoin ETF apps by November 17th. Four days away, fam. I believe that's Friday. Beginning on November 9th, the SEC reportedly has a window to approve all of them, including Grayscale's investment conversion of its Grayscale Bitcoin Trust product, which currently holds over 620,000 BTC, making them the largest hodler of Bitcoin on the planet. However, even if the SEC approves spot Bitcoin ETFs by November 17th, you got to note it could be more than a month before the products officially launch. So do keep that in mind. But it would be a beautiful Christmas present, wouldn't it? The expected delay in launch following SEC approval would be due to the two step process of launching an ETF. For an issuer to start a Bitcoin ETF, it must get the approval from the SEC's trading and markets division on its 19 B4 filings and its corporate finance division on the S1 filings or prospectus. And of the 12 Bitcoin ETF apps, nine issuers have already submitted revised prospectuses showing they have communicated with the corporate finance division. Let's go. Meanwhile, the NASDAQ filed the 19 B4 form with the securities regulator on behalf of the $9 trillion asset management giant BlackRock for a proposed ETF, the iShares Ethereum Trust. The move signals BlackRock's intention to expand beyond Bitcoin with its crypto ETF aspirations. The fund has already registered the corporate entity iShares Ethereum Trust in Delaware and at least five other firms are seeking SEC approval for a spot Ether ETF. This includes VanEck, ARK21Shares, which is Cathie Wood's company, Invesco, Grayscale as well as Hashdex. Now let's discuss clarity act may forbid the U.S. officials from engaging with Tether's parent company. Interesting, right? U.S. representatives Zach Nunn and Abigail Spanberger have jointly introduced the Creating Legal Accountability for Rogue Innovators and Tech Act of 2023 or the Clarity Act of 2023. Now the legislation aims to prohibit federal government officials from conducting business with Chinese blockchain companies. The act would ban government employees from using the underlying networks of Chinese blockchain or crypto trading platforms. Furthermore, it would explicitly forbid U.S. government officials from engaging in transactions with Ifinex, the parent company of USDT issuer Tether. Very interesting. And 47 countries pledged to start exchanging crypto tax data by 2027. That's definitely not a good look, fam. Protect your information because people will steal it and use it against you. Just saying. But what's your thoughts on that? Please do let me know and actually want to share this with you while we're on the topic as well. You should be able to see right here. This coming from James Safart, who is a lead ETF expert over at Bloomberg. Here's what he had to share. We're nearing in on the deadline dates for three spot Bitcoin ETF apps. I want to go ahead of it because there's a pretty good chance we'll see delay orders from the SEC. Delay would not change anything about our views and the 90 percent odds for the 19 before approval by January 10th of 2024. Now let's blow this up. Let me know if you can see this clearly right now on your screen. It basically shows you some of the deadlines you can see in the green boxes, which he outlined the first deadline. We have the 17th of this month, which is only four days out. That's for the Hashdex Bitcoin ETF as well as for Franklin Bitcoin ETF. And then for the second deadline, you see the green box hovered around the Global X Bitcoin Trust's refiling for Global X. So those are the three to keep your eyes out on right now. And which one do you feel will likely get the green light first from the SEC or do you feel it will be a cluster of all of them being approved at the same time to avoid showing favoritism? Let me know, fam. Now let's dive in to our breaking story of the day and discuss everything related to the grayscale ETF. Why is grayscale such a big deal? Because they have the GBTC product, which is their Bitcoin trust, which currently holds over six hundred and twenty thousand BTC, making them the largest hodler of Bitcoin in the world. If they get this green light from the SEC to convert their product into a spot Bitcoin ETF, they're already holding on to the underlying asset. BlackRock is playing catch up. They announced BlackRock officially that they just started seeding their BlackRock ETF in October. Grayscale has the first mover's advantage. So it's going to be interesting to see how this plays out. So let's break this down. Here we go. Grayscale CEO by the name of Michael Sonenshine, he says, we're ready for the main event. We have been awaiting the spot Bitcoin ETF approval. Now he also says it's not a matter of when. I mean, it's a matter of when, not a matter of if anymore. I agree with that 100 percent. I want to read you this. The Grayscale Bitcoin Trust is on its way to become a bonafide spot Bitcoin ETF. But in case you have not realized that GBTC is already a massive product. Here's two stats, fam. GBTC has about twenty five billion dollars of assets under management. That's half the size of gold ETF. Let that sink in. And number two, GBTC controls about six hundred and twenty thousand bitcoins. That's more than half of what Satoshi is believed to control. They say Satoshi's wallets hold roughly one point one million Bitcoin. Well, GBTC has half that amount of Bitcoin, making them the largest Bitcoin hodler in the world, Nexus Satoshi. So when they get this thing converted into an ETF, they will already be operating at scale with the first mover's advantage. Let's take a look at this chart to see the scale here we're talking about. The Grayscale Bitcoin Trust is about to become an ETF, but it's already massive. The Grayscale Bitcoin Trust has something like twenty five billion in assets under management. So check this out. Controlled by Satoshi. See all those orange squares then controlled by GBTC so you can see a comparison to Satoshi's wallet. And then you can see MicroStrategy, which currently controls over one hundred and fifty eight thousand four hundred BTC. So naturally, Satoshi is the largest. Then we have GBTC and then we have MicroStrategy. And this baby is just getting started. Just saying. So, yeah, let's break this baby down. Here we go. Let's discuss Grayscale and the likelihood of the spot ETF approval. Grayscale CEO Michael Sonenshine shared Monday morning. He says it's been a 10 year dress rehearsal, meaning they've been awaiting a spot Bitcoin ETF for the past frickin decade and says they're ready for this main event. Let's get ready to rumble. Just saying I had to do that. I had a seemingly imminent approval for the conversion of his flagship fund into the spot ETF, as Michael Sonenshine shares here. Now on June twenty ninth of twenty twenty two, Grayscale filed a lawsuit against the SEC and thank God they did for denying a spot Bitcoin ETF conversion. And ever since Grayscale won its lawsuit against the SEC with the regulator then deciding not to appeal the court decision after because they know it's a big fat L and they don't stand the chance in the appeal. Otherwise they would have appealed it. So that was the omen right there that the ETF is getting approved. Ten days later, the U.S. Court of Appeals issued a mandate that the SEC must re-review the Grayscale spot Bitcoin ETF app and approval of a spot ETF by the SEC appears almost certain with Grayscale's chief legal officer recently saying the spot Bitcoin ETF approval is a matter of when and not a matter of if anymore. We also have JP Morgan, who commented back in September, saying that the SEC will likely be forced to approve the spot Bitcoin ETFs following Grayscale's victory in court. And I agree. I don't think they willfully want it. They prefer to control the markets through futures, but the people want it. The people demand it and they supposed to be protecting the best interests of the people. So the people, we rise, we get what we want. We just got to demand it from the damn SEC, right? Now, last week it was highlighted by Bloomberg ETF analyst James Safart that a brief window of opportunity, as I discussed earlier, they have until the 17th to approve all twelve spot Bitcoin ETF filings, including the Grayscale GBTC conversion. This window opened up last Thursday and remains open until Friday, with this being the last chance of approval for a spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States in 2023. So there's still hope. Will it be approved? You guys let me know. And while it's possible the batch of spot ETFs get approved this week, it is seemingly unlikely. If we are indeed going to see a Bitcoin ETF approval this wave, I think it is more likely to happen closer to January than this current window, according to the ETF expert James Safart, as he shares here on X. New research note for me today. We still believe 90 percent chance by January 10th. So that's the date to mark on your calendar, fam, for the spot Bitcoin ETF approvals. But if it comes earlier, we're entering a window where we could waive order of approvals for the current applications could occur. So there is a chance, but probably not going to happen this week. But again, there's still hope. Bitcoin's now up one hundred and twenty two percent year to date at this time. Not too shabby. And that's thanks to the speculation of the first spot Bitcoin ETF being approved in the United States, in addition to the upcoming halving for 2024. So send it and let's frickin go. Couple more tweets I wanted to share. I thought this was pretty cool. It's been 10 year dress rehearsal. We're ready for this main event, referring to the approval of the spot ETF. Now another analyst, Scott Johnson, shared the following. Looks like we've got some confirmation of number one without a hard timeline. So almost certainly decided alongside on the other apps, the most likely outcome, as he shared here on the back of his recent tweet. My guess is Grayscale is in one of two positions. Number one, they've received assurances that they'll receive a new order within X amount of days or alongside the other apps. Or number two, they have not received assurances and have demanded a new order by the date or will pursue judicial remedy. So there you frickin have it. And as Nate Geraci shares here, surprise how quiet it is, GBTC conversion to the ETF. Grayscale won the court case on August 29th, filed the S3 registration statement October 19th, and the court issued the formal mandate on the ruling October 23rd. But apparently still no word from the SEC on whether Grayscale needs to refile a 19B4. So there you have it, my crypto fam. When do you feel Grayscale will finally get the green light from the SEC and the chairman of the SEC, Gary Gensler, Mr. Eau Claire himself? Do you think it can potentially be this week? Are your fingers crossed? Are you hopeful? Are you looking forward to the approval by January 10th? Do let me know. But either way, worst case scenario, less than 60 days away from ETF approval. And they say probably within 30 days from the time we get the green light, the product will officially launch. I hope GBTC does get that green light because like I said, they're already sitting on the underlying asset. So they have the first mover's advantage against Fidelity, BlackRock, ARK21 shares, and all the rest of them. We also have the Winklevoss twins, believe it or not, they were the very first to submit a spot Bitcoin ETF approval to the SEC over a decade ago. That's right. They're the owners of the Gemini exchange. Crazy right? And don't forget to check out cryptonewsalerts.net for the full premium experience with video and to participate in our live Q &A. "Yo, what's good, crypto fam? This is first and foremost, a video show. So if you want a full premium experience with video, visit my YouTube channel at CryptoNewsAlerts.net. Again, that's Crypto News Alerts.net. Welcome, y'all. This is podcast episode number 1444. I'm your host, JV. Today is October 28th, 2023. Naturally, lots of cover, lots going on. The Bitcoin market is pumping right now. So let's kick it off with our market watch as we do each and every day. You should be able to see here on your screen. Bitcoin is up trading above 34,300, with the rest of the crypto market also pumping and in the green and checking out CoinMarketCap.com. The crypto market cap sits at 1.26 trillion, with 25 billion in volume in the past 24 hours, with the Bitcoin dominance still on the climb at 53.1 percent and the Ether dominance on the decline at 17 percent. I wouldn't be surprised if this ETH dominance drops into the 16s here soon. Now, checking out the top 100 crypto gainers of the past 24 hours, we got QTUM up 19 percent, trading at three dollars and 19 cents. Below that, we have Satoshi Vision up eight and a half percent, trading at forty nine dollars and forty nine cents, followed by SUI up eight percent, trading just above forty six cents and checking out the top 100 crypto gainers of the past week. We have TAO leading the pack, 15 percent overall bullish. Most of them are in the green and pumping a good indicator and checking out the Crypto Greed and Fear Index. We're currently rated a sixty five in Greed. Yesterday was a seventy, last week a sixty three and last month a forty six in Fear. So there you have it. Now, let me know how many of you are currently bullish on the king crypto. Holla at your boy in that live chat. We're going to start with some Bitcoin TA and then we'll do a little Ethereum TA. Bitcoin rose back above thirty four level today, which comes following the recent price consolidation after hitting thirty three four on Friday. Bitcoin rallied to an intraday high of thirty four to start the day. Let's go. The move saw the Bitcoin snap a two day losing streak, which came after the crypto was significantly overbought, which you can see here in the Bitcoin daily chart. But despite the uncertainty of the past few days, the 14 day relative strength index, which we know is the RSI, remains in this territory. And at this time, the index is tracking 81, which comes as bulls are implemented an interim floor at the 80 mark. If this level holds throughout the weekend, the bulls may make yet another run towards that thirty five thousand dollar level. So let me know if you think we're likely to retest and break above and potentially climb on up to forty thousand. Holla at your boy. And checking out Ethereum, it rebounded from Friday's drop, making a run back towards the eighteen hundred level to start the weekend. ETH slash USD peaked at just under eighteen hundred on Saturday, which comes after the price fell to a low of seventeen fifty less than twenty four hours ago. Now, this climb means the world's second largest crypto has traded higher for nine of the last ten sessions, which we can see here in the Ethereum daily chart, which suggests this latest rally comes as the ten day moving average continues this uptrend versus the twenty five day counterpart. And represented in the chart, the ten day is in the red and the twenty five day is in the blue. Now, additionally, the RSI found the floor at sixty eight, using it as a springboard for the current reading of sixty nine. The bulls will likely make further runs towards eighteen hundred, despite the overall price strength being overbought. Now, this just in eighty four percent of the Bitcoin supply has not been moved in over six months. Where are my long term hodlers at? Make some noise and let that sink in because you have massive asset managers. We're talking about the behemoths out there that control trillions upon trillions in assets under management. They all need to get their hands on Bitcoin. But when you got eighty four percent of hodlers with diamond hands unwilling to sell, that means supply shock. So let's freaking go. And also, the hash rate hits yet another all time high of five hundred and forty five quintillion extra hashes per second. Let's freaking go. Max Kaiser responded to this news. God wants Bitcoin to win the fight against A.I. for global energy use. God is backing Bitcoin. The hash rate will continue flying higher as God continues compelling us to hash harder. God knows that only Bitcoin can fix the Middle East and Europe, Asia ish show. The hash adjusted implied price for Bitcoin is now in the mid three hundred thousand dollars. And Max just also recently tweeted that two hundred twenty thousand is in play and that God's perfect money was sent here from the future to make bad people look worse and good people. Great. Big volatility ahead. And yeah, I agree with him. Let me know your thoughts. I mean, it's always a good sign when the Bitcoin fundamentals continue to grow stronger. We know the Bitcoin price follows the hash. Now, let's break down our first story of the day, and that's Alex Jones actually getting gifted ten thousand Bitcoin by the high priest of Bitcoin, Max Kaiser. That's right. And he claims he lost it, just like everyone. Right. We lose Bitcoin in boat accidents all the time. But nonetheless, he claims he lost it on a laptop. And Max Kaiser wanted to give him another opportunity to get ten thousand Bitcoin if he's willing to answer five questions from a quiz. So let's break this down. Now, how many of you would love to be gifted some Bitcoin? Let me know. Bitcoin enthusiast Max Kaiser took the social networks to allow Info Wars host Alex Jones to regain the ten thousand Bitcoin he claims he lost when Bitcoin was priced at only five dollars. So talking about a fortune, hundreds of millions of dollars worth in which he claims is lost. According to Alex, Max gave him a laptop containing the Bitcoin and a meeting. But Jones did not care for the item, which got lost in undisclosed circumstances. Jones disclosed this loss on a show two years ago when he revealed that it had indeed happened at the time. Here's what Alex shared. Ten years ago, Max Kaiser comes to me and says, I have ten thousand Bitcoins for you. This is the future. It'll be the new global currency. He is on record. Now, when he later revealed what happened, the show host called him a effing idiot and invited him to find the lost laptop. I deserve it, said Jones after being slapped twice. Nonetheless, it seems that destiny might reunite. Jones with ten thousand Bitcoin at this price level of today's value is worth approximately three hundred and forty million dollars. That's more than a quarter of a bill. And as Kaiser recently posted on X, he shared following. I'll be back on Alex Jones later this week. And with a quiz, if he can answer all five questions correctly, he gets his ten thousand BTC. Now, Jones, who was ordered to pay one and a half billion due to claims about the Sandy Hook school shootings, declared bankruptcy after the twenty twenty two verdict. A recent ruling determined Jones still needs to pay most of this amount despite filing for personal bankruptcy. The regained gift might help the embattled journalist to face his situation. And according to Max, Jones has not communicated with him to confirm his participation in the proposed quiz. Now, on October twenty fifth, he declared the following. Alex hasn't confirmed a date or a time yet. Is he about to lose the chance to own ten thousand Bitcoin again? What's wrong with you, Alex? Maybe he really has that ten thousand Bitcoin and he never lost it. I'd love to know your thoughts and speculation in the comments right down below. All right, guys, let's break down our next story of the day. And that is the latest Bitcoin FUD, which actually Wall Street Journal published misleading information. But you would expect nothing less from the mainstream media. Right. The Wall Street Journal partially corrected the article, mischaracterized the extent in which Hamas and other militant groups have been funding its terrorist activities with crypto currencies. The October 10th article titled Hamas militants behind Israel attack raised millions in crypto cited block chain forensics firm Elliptic and said that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a terrorist organization operating in the Gaza Strip, raised as much as ninety three million dollars between August of twenty twenty one and June of twenty twenty three in the cited report. Elliptic said Israel's counterterrorism unit sees the wallets which received ninety three million dollars over that time frame. However, Elliptic clarified this did not mean that it was raised of these funds to finance terrorism activities. They're just speculating. Now, research from block chain forensics firm Chainalysis suggests only four hundred and fifty thousand dollars of these funds were sent to the known terrorism affiliated wallet. The Wall Street Journal's correction stated that the Lebanese political party may have exchanged up to twelve million in crypto, which is obviously far less than the initial ninety three million figure. Now, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad may have quoting them again with the updated article exchange up to twelve million in crypto since twenty twenty one, according to the crypto research firm. An earlier version of the article incorrectly said they had more than twelve million in crypto, which we all know is not correct. Now, the Wall Street Journal's retraction follows an October 25th statement by Elliptic, which called the Wall Street Journal to correct this misinterpretation of the data. Elliptic added crypto's funding by Hamas remains tiny relative to the other funding sources. October twenty seventh, Elliptic was pleased to see the Wall Street Journal acknowledge its mistakes, but it said it would have liked to see it more specific about the corrections quitting Elliptic here on X. We are pleased to see the Wall Street Journal issue some corrections to their article based on our feedback. While we would like to have seen them go further, we'll continue to engage constructively. Now, Coinbase's chief legal officer also noted the Wall Street Journal's opening paragraph is still framed as though crypto was the primary funding source behind the Hamas attack on Israel. Again, they're just perpetuating FUD. So we know it's not true. This is barely a correction, he added. And then also Nick Carter, partner of Castle Island Ventures, a well-known person in the space. He also said, calling on United States Senator Elizabeth Warren to retract the related letter backed by over one hundred U.S. lawmakers written to the White House October 17th. The letter cited the Wall Street Journal's misinterpretation data from Elliptic in an attempt to argue that crypto poses a national security threat in which it does not to the U.S. and to the Congress and to the Biden administration, which they should act swiftly before the cryptos are used to finance another tragedy. I mean, again, we clearly know who the enemies of Bitcoin are. And Liz Warren, you're in that list clearly, as well as a lot of others. Most of these people in power have sold their soul. And we know that Bitcoin is only a threat to the central banking cartels. Now let's break down our next story of the day and discuss a country that adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender. A lot of people were talking about it. They did it after El Salvador. However, they allowed ishcoiners to destroy everything. They pulled the rug. And now all these investors are left penniless, which is a great example of what can happen when ishcoiners destroy a country. Crypto rug pull leaves hundreds of Central African Republic investors penniless. Here we go. Police of the Central African Republic suspect a rug pull after the operators of a crypto firm vanished overnight. The news outlet RFI reported the research and investigation of the National gender me, which is a part of the car police force, which have launched this investigation into the firm. Prosecutors also launched a separate investigation into the firm whose operators investors say disappeared without a trace, taking their money with them. The company is named Clay do success. I guess that translates the key to success. And per an earlier report, the nation's finance ministry confirm their company registered with the authorities and was this year issued with a tax identification number. The firm reportedly gathered investments from hundreds of their residents. Disgruntled investors were photographed outside an apparently abandoned office, October 11th. So just another rug pull in the crypto community, taken a lot of investors with them. Now the RFI noted the company is managed by Cameroonian and Nigerian entrepreneurs. The media outlet added that the firm promised its clients they could earn 20% gains on their investments. This rug pull occurred in the Central African Republic. Hence why Bitcoin is the king. Don't fall for these scammers from a lot of these corners. Now the next breaking story of the day is the SEC considering eight to 10 spot Bitcoin ETF applications. According to their chairman, Gary Gensler, let's break this one down. Here we go. US SEC chairman said Thursday the regulator has eight to 10 spot Bitcoin ETF apps under review. The SEC has not yet approved the spot Bitcoin ETF, even though the agency has greenlighted several ETFs linked to Bitcoin future contracts regarding Bitcoin ETF decisions. Here's the chairman quoting the chairman. They'll come potentially to five member commission. I'm not going to prejudge them, but I have nothing on timing. They'll have various different filing dates. Gensler did not specify the eight to 10 spot Bitcoin ETF apps the SEC is reviewing. However, based on public records, there are 12 spot Bitcoin ETF apps pending review at the SEC, including Grayscale's application to convert their Bitcoin trust into a spot Bitcoin ETF. Other apps include Cathie Wood's ARK Invest Management, BlackRock Bitwise, Wisdom Tree Fidelity, VanEck, and Invesco. The security regulator has delayed all decisions on spot Bitcoin ETFs. Eight apps have the latest possible review dates in the first quarter of next year and have three of the latest review dates in the second quarter. Now, the price of Bitcoin soared, as we know, earlier in the week on speculation that BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, is close to launching his Bitcoin ETF. Moreover, the US Court of Appeals for the DC District Court ordered the SEC earlier this week to reconsider Grayscale's investment spot Bitcoin ETF application. That's right. Now, some analysts, including those at JP Morgan, are expecting the SEC to approve multiple spot Bitcoin ETFs all at the same time. And on Wednesday, Gensler talked about crypto regulation at the 2023 Securities Enforcement Forum, quoting Gensler here, there is nothing about the crypto asset securities markets that suggests investors and issuers are under the security laws. And as I previously said, without prejudging any one asset, the vast majority of crypto assets likely meet the investment contract tests, making them subject to security laws. Further, it follows that most crypto intermediaries transacting in these crypto asset securities are subject to security laws as well. Then Gensler previously stated that all crypto tokens, excluding Bitcoin, notice that Bitcoin is the only one with the green light, are securities. His litigation-heavy approach to regulating the crypto industry has drawn much criticism, as we all know. Would you like to see Gary Gensler get fired? Let me know, fam, in the comments right down below. Now, let's break down our next story of the day and that I've shared those ETF updates. We're going to be discussing the latest from the Giga Chat himself, Michael Saylor and his $10 million Bitcoin price prediction. I transcribed the interview he did on the Lex Friedman podcast. And here's what Michael Saylor had to share. If we look at Bitcoin and model it as digital gold, you know the market cap goes between 10 and 20 trillion. But remember, gold is the fact of property. Gold is dead money. You have a billion dollars of gold that sits in a vault for a decade. It is very hard to mortgage the gold. It's also very hard to rent the gold. You can't loan the gold. No one's going to create a business with your gold. So gold, it doesn't generate much of a yield. So for that reason, most people wouldn't store a billion dollars for a decade in gold. They would buy a billion dollars of commercial real estate property. And the reason why is because I can rent it. I can generate a yield on that. And it's in excess of the maintenance costs. So if you consider digital property, that's a 100 to $200 trillion adjustable market. So I think it goes from 10 trillion to 100 trillion as people start to think of it as digital property. What does that mean in terms of price per coin? Well, at 500,000, that's a $10 trillion asset. And at $5 million per Bitcoin, that's a $100 trillion asset. So you think it crosses a million, he was asked. And it can even go higher. He says, Yeah, I think it keeps going up forever. I mean, there is no reason we couldn't go to 10 million a coin because digital property isn't the highest form, right? Gold was that low frequency money. Property is mid frequency money. But when I start to program it faster, it starts to look like digital energy. And then it doesn't just replace property, then you start to replace bonds, it's $100 trillion in bonds, there is 50 to 100 trillion and other currency derivatives. And all of these are conventional use cases, right? I think that there is 350 trillion to $500 trillion worth of currency derivatives in the world. And when I say that, I mean things that are valued based upon fiat, cash flows, any commercial real estate, any bond, any sovereign debt, any currency itself, any derivatives to those things, they're all derivatives, and they are all defective. And they're all defective because of this persistent seven to 14% lapse in which we call inflation. So there you have it coming from the one and only giga Chad, Michael Saylor, what are your thoughts surrounding his $10 million Bitcoin price prediction? Let me know your honest thoughts in the comments right down below. And don't forget to check out crypto news alerts.net for the full premium experience with video and to participate in our live Q &A. I should probably hold on I should probably explain Jerry's not gonna be here for this recording session. She's always going to be around around. Oh sure Okay, just want to make sure people weren't like where's Jerry going? What'd you guys do to Jerry? Right? I don't need email like that. No who does So Chuck you already let it slip what our topic is today, which I'm surprised That's right the booch aka kombucha, mm-hmm, which is Some people call it kombucha tea, but everyone calls it kombucha really in practice but you know, we're talking about the the beverage the sort of odd tasting fizzy Sweet teed Probiotic drink that is very popular right now that I don't drink Emily drinks it every day No surprise there Although she's switching brands now. We'll get to that later. Okay. Can't wait to hear cuz I drink it almost every day, too Yeah, I I don't like the flavor. So I just don't drink it. That's just a simple one for me Well, you don't like anything vinegary. So of course you don't like kombucha Yeah, that's a good point. You know, you don't like mustard you don't yeah, you don't like white vinegar I don't like pickles. You don't like apple cider vinegar You don't like red wine vinegar Mmm, I mean, I'll take a little bit of that or maybe some balsamic vinegar on a salad Oh, but other than that vinegar is a tough sell for me Okay, but or what the reason we're talking about vinegar is because kombucha has a kind of a vinegary thing going on It's very tart. It's very acidic and you said something in there that I don't think I fully realized although I Kind of knew it's one of those things where I had all the information I just never put it together into a cohesive whole okay, but kombucha is Fermented sweet tea. Yeah, and I mean, of course, there's other stuff in there But to make kombucha and it just be raw pure kombucha. All you need is sugar Tea and then something called a scoby which we'll talk about soon and you put those things together Let them sit in a glass jar with the lid off and a little bit of muslin over the top in a dark warm Dry very important place for I don't know a week two weeks you're going to have kombucha Yeah, and it sort of belongs alongside other things like yogurt and sauerkraut where the The microbes are a big part of the appeal of these things that you can put in your body Yeah, can we can I just call out the sentence that Livia wrote because it's hilarious. Sure She's she wrote that kombucha is a food in which microbes are a feature not a bug It was definitely worth the hat tip at least. Have you ever seen the Volkswagen Beatles with the license plate? That's this feature? No, it's always very I don't get out that much though So you'd mentioned scoby scoby stands for It's an acronym SCOVY Because that's exactly what it is if you look at a scoby You might heard it called a mother or a mushroom like the mother like What's it called like a sourdough mother? Yeah, but if you look at an a scoby it looks disgusting It looks like something out of a science lab like out of a petri dish It's round and sort of pancake II and gelatinous. Yes, and it looks like brain matter or something. It looks gross It looks like the muffin top of a jellyfish, but just the muffin top part Sure, that's that's another good way to put it. It's kind of gross too and that that mother that Mushroom or that scoby is what I saw far and away at least in America It's most people who grew a brew kombucha call it a scoby. Yeah The there's a specific term for it a solid phase cellulosic pellicle Yeah, and when you dig into it microbial Microbial II it's Astounding what it actually is. It's like a really Unique kind of thing that seems to only grow in kombucha from what I could find Yeah, and it's what it is actually or what it how it functions at least in kombucha It's it's sort of the fuel that drives that fermentation process to take that sweet tea from just regular sweet tea to the fermented bubbly Weird tasting thing that you enjoy. Yeah, and it's really insolvable like You can drop it in just about anything and it will hold its shape. It's it has a lot of tensile strength Apparently it can hold so it's cellulose made of little tiny fibrils and at there I think a hundred times thinner than the cellulose fibrils you get from a plant Mm-hmm plants are lousy with cellulose, but this cellulose is extruded from Bacteria Little tiny tiny little things of cellulose that ended that end up getting woven together to create this large structure That can hold I think a hundred times the amount of liquid or water that Plant cellulose can and it's a hundred times thinner than plant cellulose and it's being extruded Pooped out of these little bacteria that are building this thing over the course of weeks. Yeah, it's pretty amazing Like if you made one that was the size of a hammock you could put a house on it Yeah, easy. I'm just kidding. I haven't done the math on that. No, no, it's in there somewhere there So Chuck, I think we should we'll hold off on on how to make it a batch of kombucha Although it's not that hard, but it turns out that that that symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast It's a pretty good descriptor because that's what is in that scoby and There have been studies of what's in there and what they found is that there's a ever-changing cast of characters Yeah, but that there seemed to be a couple that are really responsible for Forming the scoby and then in turn creating kombucha one is a bacterium called Chuck Though we do want me to do this Sure Come again come Agati bacteria bactere Yeah I think that's right. Yep, and then that's the stuff that forms that cellulose that gives the scoby its structure and then inside There's some yeast and specifically the yeast from the genus Brett enormous Brett anomists sure and those are the ones that actually seem to do most of the fermenting. Yeah, and we have Well, at least in this case there were some Oregon State University researchers named Keisha Harrison and Chris curtain Who a couple of years ago looked at a hundred and three scobies that are used by Brewers here in North America That yeast they call it Brett and it's sort of an used to be used a lot for old Ales in 19th century England apparently, huh? Not used a whole lot for beer anymore because it tastes funny except for like lambics. I think and also used in Barrel-aged red wines and I think in wine You just don't want too much of it and in beer nowadays like I said unless it's a lambic they usually try to get rid of it things like a Contaminant in beer these days even so it sounds old-timey I guess then yeah the Brett and that actually kind of dovetails with kombucha's image It has an image of being like an old-timey Super old-timey ancient I guess is a better word Brew fermented brew that a lot of people say dates back to all the way back to 221 BCE Which is when supposedly the Emperor of the Chin dynasty started brewing it himself Mm-hmm, and that it was considered a an elixir of life a tonic for immortality The thing is is like if you talk to anybody in the kombucha community They'll give you that story But it's just a story like there's really hazy when you start to try to trace the lineage of kombucha Yeah, butchers. That's right Yeah, there was another tale about 600 years after that from the 5th century CE About a Korean doctor and this is possibly a name origin because this doctor was named kombu Kombu you who brought a medicinal tea to Emperor would that be in Keough? I think so. Yeah, all right of Japan and said and some people say well That's clearly where the name came from other people say well. I don't know about that because there's also this Japanese fermented tea From back in the day that was derived from kelp that was called kombu and then cha is tea so kombucha But there is no seaweed in kombucha as we know it now So I don't think anyone really knows the exact origin of the word no But it is possible that that kombucha that seaweed fermented seaweed tea Just got used for the wrong thing and it's kind of run off on that lineage of history And that that's where it came from again what we're talking about are stories There are some ancient documents that I think mention that Korean doctor kombu Yeah, but it's still it's just not definitive to get definitive You actually have to go to Russia and Ukraine in the late 19th century Yeah, that's rising. That's finally where you can definitively start to trace the history of what we call kombucha Yeah, I was kind of surprised to see it there too, but apparently after World War one They were lousy with the stuff it started to spread around Europe Apparently in the Westfalia region of Germany became very popular for a little while In Italy in the middle of the 20th century it became so popular that a couple of things happened That was there were people mixing it with holy water to use as sort of like a tonic and a folk remedy Which priests there did not love and there was a song that you can go listen to You know, you can go to YouTube and listen to it from 1955. Yeah by a guy named Renato Carazon And the song was called Stu Fungo Chinesa or the Chinese fungus and it was a popular song. That's I listened to it. It is not very good No, it's got a lot of dee dee dee dee dee dee dee dee like mixed in with it But it's also kind of like a mambo II thing. It's a it's a mess. So strangely enough Stu Fungo Chinesa Did not kick off the kombucha craze in the United States or in the West It really was kicked off by a Swiss study from the 60s and I do mean Switzerland not Sweden I apparently swapped the two when I was talking about the oldest periodical in Existence in the farmers almanac episodes of sorry to everybody who wrote in Yeah, we we know that those are two different places and they're not even close together So it was inadvertent. No exactly like I I mixed up the names I'm not actually confusing Switzerland was right like I can I know that much. So this was a Swiss Switzerland Swiss Study from the 60s that said hey this kombucha stuff that they're making over in Russia that's associated with Russian grandmothers Mm-hmm. This stuff is is it's like yogurt man, but it you can drink it It's like drinkable yogurt and we don't mean kefir No, we don't it did. It's still popular actually in some parts of Russia It remained popular throughout Soviet Russia. They were you know, they didn't have like, you know American soda and stuff like that So this is a fizzy drink they could make which sort of sub for that. It seems like prisoners would brew it there there was even a case here in the United States in 2015 where arms dealer Vic Victor bout was brewing it in a prison in Illinois and And we'll get to the alcoholic content later, but the prison officials basically said like you're making booze You can't do that. So they added some time And apparently like kids in Russia these days or not kids But younger people are kind of on kombucha that they rejected when they were younger because they were like we want American tasting sodas and now there's a newer trend where they're like, oh no, this is sort of like cool. This is the old Russian Version and they're back into brewing it again Yeah It's it's so it got Exported somehow to the US it blew up in the US and we exported it back to Russia now Russian hipsters are into Kombucha, even though it was their grandparents like homebrew, and I think it was also Not just they wanted Coke and Pepsi and probably mostly coke they they associated it with their grandmother giving it to them as if it were almost like medicine or a health chronic and Surrounded drinks a health tonic. No, you rarely do and this kind of had that association with it, too That got stripped of it Even though it's considered a healthy drink health tonic is really stretching how it's considered in the United States So it got kind of repackaged and gussied up and turned into a really fun beverage That's that kids are really into and that will just make you immediately cooler if you're seen out in public drinking it Yeah, as far as the Chinese connection It sort of depends on who you're asking. It sounds like it may have been regional because there was this Writer, what was her first name? Zong is her last name for folklife magazine. Her first name Chuck is precisely Laura Laura, okay. Well, she Wrote about this in folklife magazine and asked her immigrant Chinese parents and they were like, I don't know what you're talking about She said well, let me ask my friend who still has you know, a bunch of contacts in China and Her friend got in touch with her people in China and they're like, I don't know what you're talking about But then there was another Chinese American writer named Betty Lou and her father like recalled You know fond things about kombucha from Shanghai and these big neighborhood batches So I think theirs was green tea and honey though instead of black tea and sugar So maybe it was a variation a regional variation. Yeah, they called it Hong Cha Jun Yeah, not kombucha, but it does sound similar and if you stop and think about it Just how it's a simplicity of what kombucha actually is fermented sweet tea it's entirely possible that cultures that have tea and have had tea for hundreds and thousands of years and Stumbled on to this, you know independently and just call it different things made it with slightly different ingredients But it seems very clear that the kombucha we drink today Was exported from Russia and Ukraine in the 19th century Yeah, and before we break, I think we should cover this last little bit. That's super interesting about how it Regained popularity in the 80s here in the u.s. There was it was for AIDS patients. There was specifically one AIDS patient he was a Act-up, New York member an activist named Sander Katz who had this kombucha and it in you know those AIDS drugs early on at least were really rough on the stomach and it helped him and it helped him keep his food down and kind of settled the stomach and then it got passed around the Gay community and I think he found out about it from a friend in like 1994 He was you know, a home brewer and went on to write a book called wild fermentation in 2003 And so it was the AIDS community of the of the Northeast United States. It really kind of got it going again here Pretty cool. Very cool You want to take a break then? Let's do it. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, it was spaceship just flew by Someone should ask Chris Christie about that. Oh, man, that was crazy. Did you see that? It's terrible question Yeah, he was pretty funny about it. Yeah He is a likable guy so kombucha for a while was and it's still sort of popular with hobbyists because brewing in general and home brewing is Really regained in popularity with beer and meat and all kinds of crazy things And I also I think there's a suspicion to among people who make kombucha that the stuff that's mass-produced Just can't hold a candle to the stuff you would make on your own probably but that's how it was for for many many years starting in the 80s until about The mid ish 1990s when a guy who we're gonna talk about a little bit now That you may have heard of named George Thomas Dave or GT Dave Started brewing kombucha at home and his Bell air house as a teenager The as legend has it. He got his scoby from a friend who got it from a trip to the Himalayas and His mom was drinking this stuff. Dave was making going through cancer and claimed that it helped her beat cancer Which was officially part of the company's lore until they were forced to remove it after a lawsuit in 2010 About deceptive health claims. Yeah, but he is the maker if you if you've seen synergy kombucha in the store It's the biggest player out there and that's the one Emily drank until today And that's that's GT Dave, yeah, if you've ever seen kombucha in the store you've seen GT synergy I Just there's such so many different flavors of it and like the it's just it's clearly been around longer It's got its its thing down pat And like you said this guy was brewing this when he was in high school and he started in 95 in 2005 he took it national and you can say that pretty much as when kombucha really started to Make headway it didn't take off like a rocket quite yet If you go back and look at the dates on a lot of the research articles that you'll find in kombucha I'm like CNBC or Forbes or whatever There's like 2017 18 and they're all like what is this stuff? So it took a while to gain some traction But he took it out of the health food store and started to get it into grocery stores And that was what really kind of laid the foundation for kombucha to be introduced to America as a whole That's right in the sort of unfortunate part that has come out more recently Is that synergy is going through a few different lawsuits right now? Because allegedly it is even though this is a drink that is touted as being made with love and good vibrations There are some lawsuits going on now because allegedly it is a terrible place to work and GT Dave allegedly Would purposefully hire Undocumented workers so they could be taken advantage of with brutal work hours No breaks to eat. No breaks for breaks Go to the bathroom super fast and get back to work It's so hot in there that you're sweating into the beverage and then you have to go to a freezing place and your clothes freeze up And just some sounds like some pretty bad stuff happening there allegedly Well you say allegedly, but you don't have to say that anymore because as of I think this month California judge said nope this is all true. I'm ruling against GT Dave Yeah, well yeah, that was a lawsuit from a that's long-standing, but there are I think some new ones And he's been denying this the whole time Basically, I think his quote was something like I don't want to paraphrase it well I guess I have to paraphrase it cuz I don't have in front of me sure but but basically like yeah You know lawsuits are just the cross. I bear you know when you get popular like this. That's just how things go right that This is he just dismissed him all as frivolous in that quote like indirectly basically although these are Have been brought by multiple people and multiple lawsuits over multiple years Yeah, so yeah this judge apparently does not like him and the judge is in charge of All the cases and Apparently has said before that Dave lies through his teeth, and it's totally not credible And if you put him on the stand I'm gonna tell the jury to not to believe him like this right judge Just said this like in court, so he's having a rough time of it for sure Yeah, and of course I told him like this. She's like. Oh well. I guess I'll find a new brand Well, there's so many great brands out there, too I mean yeah, there's a lot of like if you are into kombucha Or you're about to be in a kombucha after listening to this you are in a beautiful time To be in the kombucha because there's a lot of good brands that you could find in just about any Grocery store and yes indeed it is the golden age for kombucha right now. We love our golden ages sure There's another big player in Kavita kevita because Pepsi bought that one in 2016 And you know any time in the beverage industry It's a tough racket anyway, so you're you're probably looking to cash out to a larger company is The exit strategy generally for beverages sure I watch a lot of shark tank. That's what they say okay Coca-cola got into it a little bit because they own honest tea Honesty hmm yeah, but I don't think they make that anymore, but they do have some sort of Australian Kombucha Coca-cola does called organic and raw trading company. They don't like to talk about it, though, right? I don't think they do so it is a golden age, and that's kind of reflected in the market It's like a two and a half billion dollar industry, which is About no, it's not bad. It's expected to grow to eleven and a half billion within the next seven years Because kombucha is so good and because we're living in that golden age Apparently considered a functional beverage with energy drinks and vitamin fortified waters, and you who yeah Because it gives you great strength Yeah, exactly, but one it's considered a non-alcoholic drink But that was up in the air until fairly recently because there's a well-known story at least in the kombucha community about a I think Inspector for the Maine Department of Agriculture Who was going through a Whole Foods and noticed that these bottles of kombucha? This is 2010 so he's still like what is this stuff that they were bubbling out from under their caps? And he's like and not a good sign. No. He's like. This is that's fermentation these things are fermenting before my eyes That means that it's producing alcohol by definition He's like I'm gonna I'm gonna test some of these and what he found Exactly He went on a seven-day bender And when he came to he said these things should not be sold as not alcoholic Believe me. I went on a booch bender not good Yeah, I think if you're home brewing it, and this is you know it's a variable product anytime You're making something where there. It's like alive for a little while It's it's gonna be different depending on the batch and the maker and all that stuff If you're home brewing it you may get up to 3% ABV There have been cases where I think the the guy in in Maine Some of those went up to 2.5 And that's when Whole Foods was like we can't sell it like it's over the 0.5% Threshold so Whole Foods had to pull it there And this is like this this industry was still in its cradle like this is a really dangerous thing to have happen all of a sudden Yeah, totally, but that's why kind of around that same time the kombucha Kombucha Brewers International was formed which is a trade organization that basically is like hey listen. We need to sort of standardize this Here's an alcohol test that everyone should be using and we should all be on the same page about the the ABV right So they they really kind of swooped in to standardize things and save the day and there is come there is hard kombucha Apparently yeah, they're crazy for it in, California It goes up to 11% which man that'll knock you on your duff yeah, but for the most part the the the people who make kombucha have figured out how to keep it from going beyond the 0.5% 0.05% alcohol point I think 0.5 I don't know if I've ever told this story before have I about how when I was a youngster I really loved Nick at night and Sometimes on Fridays and Saturdays. I would go to the open pantry, which is a convenience store across the railroad tracks from my house Yeah, and I would buy some Slim Jim's get Twix Maybe some starburst really load up and then one of the things I would get every every time was a six-pack of Kingsbury non-alcoholic beer and every time I'm like 10 11 12 maybe Every time I had to argue with the the person checking me out at the at the register I'm like, this is not alcoholic. It has nothing to do with any age limit I'm allowed to buy this and every time I was successful I think most of them were just like, okay if this kid's gonna say that to me then fine You you can have this non-alcoholic beer and I would go home and crack some Kingsbury and need some slim Troop and stuff. It was amazing. Good Friday, you know, I do have a new answer now And when they say if you could go back in time Because it used to obviously be go back and kill Hitler and do some good for mankind But now it's go back and live next door to young Josh So we could have been kid buddies. Yeah, that would have been fun. I would have been older You would have been the one corrupting me though somehow. Yeah. Yeah for sure. It would have been pretty funny You would have been I would have been like what are you six years younger seven? No, I'm like five five You would have been the ten-year-old corrupting like the fifteen or sixteen But I would have my license first you'd be like, yeah now you can drive this to all the bad place Yeah, let's go get some Kingsbury Chuck should we take a break and come back and tell everybody how to make kombucha cuz I'm ready to do that Yeah, okay. Let's do it In A world where modern technology is rapidly reshaping our day-to-day lives the new podcast technically speaking an Intel podcast Uncovers the remarkable ways tech is improving our livelihood across the globe brought to you by Ruby Studios from I heart media in partnership with Intel technically speaking is your passport to the forefront of AI's marvels in modern technology Each episode will take you on a riveting journey as you discover the awe-inspiring innovations of our modern world from game-changing innovations revolutionizing early cancer detection to AI software that detects pests on crops that can be detrimental to seasonal yields tune in for Conversations that are shaping tomorrow today listen to technically speaking an Intel podcast on the I heart radio app Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts the one thing we can never get more of is time or Can we this is Watson X orchestrate AI designed to multiply productivity by automating tasks when you watch an extra Business you can build digital skills to help human resources spend less time Generating offer letters writing job recs and managing schedules and spend more time on humans Let's create more time for your business with Watson X orchestrate learn more at IBM comm slash orchestrate IBM Let's create You Know it's a good thing the beach days of summer are almost over because the CW Superintense new show the swarm will have you running away from the ocean get ready to get pulled into the incredible highly anticipated new series based on the best-selling novel and Created by the producer of Game of Thrones when strange and deadly ocean related happenings begin to occur around the globe like whales Destroying boats or crabs attacking beaches or a deadly pathogen spreading into the drinking water an intrepid team of scientists Begin to suspect that something bigger is at play That's right an unknown intelligent life force seems to be dwelling in the deep Manipulating the creatures of the sea to attack humans and the only thing more thrilling than watching the ways this strange being turns aquatic life Against everyone is seeing how the world's top minds come together to stop it What if some mysterious form of life has witnessed man's destruction of the seas and has decided to? Retaliate and drive everyone into extinction There's something in the water don't miss the jaw-dropping series premiere of the swarm Tuesdays at 9 8 central and streaming free the next day on the CW All Right everybody as promised we said that we are going to teach you how to make kombucha and it is Super duper sort of it's really you should also, you know, really look if you're going to oh, yeah There's a that's a really good point the kombucha brewing community is really supportive and helpful and nice and Not snipey or catty They're just very like whatever information you need to brew your own kombucha They'll give it to you and you could probably also make friends with somebody who will send you your first scoby Yeah, because here's the thing you can't make kombucha without Kombucha you have to have kombucha Which I think Chuck and I couldn't find this that would mean that all kombucha is related in some way shape or form because if you just took tea and sugar and water and left it out to be Inoculated with whatever yeast and in bacteria in the air You're not necessarily going to attract the same yeast and bacteria those Brett's and the other one That are in kombucha, so you'll get something that isn't actually kombucha So to make kombucha you need kombucha, which means all kombucha is related. They are they have some sort of shared lineage over time Okay, that's kind of cool set up. Yeah, it is and that kind of lends itself to the the hippie dippie community aspect for sure So you like you said you need a scoby And like you also said you can probably find some hippie online that'll send you some you can buy it, too Everything kombucha.com recommends Fermentaholics, they'll send you a scoby for thirteen dollars and forty nine cents on Amazon All right, and you get that that gross little membrane looking thing Maybe look up a recipe that you might want to use there are lots of recipes online of course But like you said you got to have that unpasteurized unflavored kombucha at the root of it and You know you kind of teased it earlier you put that kombucha in a in a glass jar Everything's got to be super super clean of course You're gonna want for your tea a few specific things you want organic tea because If it's not organic then that tea you get hasn't been washed yet, and it's got pesticides and stuff on it No good. No good for you, but also for the scoby because it's a living thing. Yeah, it's gonna eat that stuff You want to use pure tea? Because It you know it tastes better, it's a cleanest flavor, it's got the most nutrients and You're also gonna. It's gonna be caffeinated. You can't make decaf kombucha as far as I know right You literally cannot because the caffeine is one of the most essential nutrients for the bacteria and or the yeast They use it to they convert it into nitrogen which they use for all sorts of stuff during the fermentation project process So you cannot make kombucha without caffeine all right the thing is your tea You got your caffeine and what else you need sugar. Yep, you want to use cane sugar I've seen and all of this like you can get organic cane sugar for very little money Even compared to like just cheap white granulated sugar splurge for that splurge for a good loose organic tea use Filtered water or you can just get like a gallon of distilled water while you're at the grocery store buying cane sugar Just it's that whole garbage in garbage out kind of mentality it also applies to kombucha, too Alright, so you've got your ingredients You've got your scoby from a guy named you know scooby scoby scoby scooby, bro scooby bro one two three and you Get your sweet tea made you add your starter kombucha You put in your scoby, and then you put it in that jar like you said with the what's it call it the Muslim or the top yeah the muslin over the top And you put it in that dark dry place like a cabinet or something and let it do its thing for how long like a week Or so yes if you're fermenting kombucha it takes Seven to fourteen days for the first ferment to finish all right then after that you bottle it and that You leave it again for another usually a few days Maybe seven days, and it doesn't second ferment in the bottle and that's where the alcohol and the bubbles really start to come about because those are both byproducts of fermentation co2 and alcohol Again, though depending on I'm not actually quite sure how you control the amount of alcohol that gets developed I think it's maybe the amount of sugar You add initially and then also how long you let it ferment to you in that second fermentation and then didn't stop it from the second fermentation you Start refrigerating it and that makes everything go dormant Yeah, and when you bottle it that's when you're also gonna You know juice it up a little bit if you want to put some ginger some herbs Some other kind of like fruity juices or something that's where you can you know experiment with your own taste and flavor profiles It's you yeah, and you want to use glass for everything The reason why is because it's so acidic as we'll see that it can leach metals right out of a metal container You know and you can also leach lead out of the glaze of a ceramic container So you basically just want to use sterilized glass like really well washed glass and you also want to keep yourself Clean and this I'm sure is very hard for a lot of the kombucha brewer community Sure, you definitely want to wash your hands thoroughly before you ever touch your scoby because again, it's the living thing And if you accidentally get some bad bugs on it, it can grow mold it can get weak It can die all sorts of stuff can happen. So you want to be very gentle and kind with your scoby and very clean, too So you want to make sure you and your glass bottles are all super clean before you make kombucha Yes, gooby bro. One, two, three in his video. It's like alright This next part man is a real bummer, but you're gonna have to take a shower Man the hippies are not gonna like this. Oh, that's okay. They're surfing right now there's one other thing you can do too or one other thing you're gonna have to do you remove your scoby from the Bottle from the Glass that you fermented in after the first ferment. It doesn't go into the bottles, but it's reusable. It actually will grow I wondered about that. Yes, so it actually will grow as as you're fermenting New kombucha each time because it's sitting there eating love and life And after a while, it'll grow thick enough that you can just basically peel off from what I understand The bottom layer is the youngest layer Okay, and there's stuff you can do with old scoby. It's cellulose Some people cut it up and dry it out and give it to their dogs Some people eat it directly because it's full of probiotics as we'll see but you can also just toss it out or compost it I think is another thing people do and you take that younger part and just start over. It's the healthiest It's the most vibrant It's the youngest part of the scoby or you can also take that part and give it to a newbie as Their first scoby too if you want to be super kind as the hippies calling Yeah, or you can rub it under your arms to prevent yeast growth there In your armpit, yeah Well, we talked a little bit about health benefits They have done not a lot of like Controlled human trials in these published papers. There was a 2019 review at 253 papers Kombu boot they call them the boot papers and there were Help But there were no controlled human trials so it's like you can't really point to hard science But it is you know, it is something that contains good stuff Like there are probiotics and we do know that probiotics are good for your gut. We've talked about them before I take a probiotic every day now and it's really helped my system out like in a hugely noticeable way. Yeah But you know if you read the bottle of a Synergy or Another brand if you if you're making that switch you're gonna see stuff like you find on a on a pill bottle of other probiotics like bacillus coagulans or lacto bacillus like these really common Bacterium probiotic bacteriums. It's what's going on. Basically. Yes so yeah, we know probiotics are good for you and Kombucha is lousy with probiotics. That's the upshot of that and there actually was one Human trial very recently it came out in the last week From Georgetown University that found that it actually lowers fasting blood glucose levels So it could be useful for people with type 2 diabetes To drink kombucha while they're eating a meal because it will keep your glucose from spiking According to this newest trial and it's one of the first human clinical trials ever done on kombucha. I Got two words for that Go Hoyas. Yeah It's been a while. Have you ever understood what the difference between a Hoya and a bulldog is? Because I've never heard anything called a Hoya except in the context of Georgetown They've never even thought about it now that I think but that's their mascot It's a bulldog, but they call it a Hoya like they're out of their minds Is it is it the same? Like is it supposed to be the name of the bulldog I don't or not the name of but like it does it mean bulldog I don't know in Georgetown. It does cuz I'm seeing that the Hoyas a plant Yeah, it is. It's called the Indian rope plant now that you mentioned it or one of the Hoyas. I think it's a family of plants Well somebody cuz we're not gonna stop to look this up because I'm sure the answer is out there I would love a Georgetown Hoya to write in and let us know. Okay fair enough moving on then, right? Yeah, what about antioxidants? Well that tea that you make this out of is lousy with polyphenols depending on which kind of tea you use Apparently green and red have the highest amounts of polyphenols of the end result kombucha But you can't really sneeze at the polyphenols in black tea too, which is traditionally the type of tea that's been used to brew kombucha Those polyphenols do all sorts of things like they neutralize free radicals in the body And we did our episode on whether or not free radical Health theory is legitimate or not But considering that the jury's still out if it is legit, then the antioxidants in kombucha are really super helpful. I Wonder if you could make a matcha kombucha. I Don't know. I don't know. I wondered that myself from what I saw you want loose leaf tea But I don't know why you wouldn't be able to use matcha Might be interesting Also vitamins, there's lots of B vitamins in kombucha B vitamins are great for you But again because it's a variable product. It's not like you can say all kombucha's have this amount of this vitamin I believe some of the leading brands tout as being like, you know, it's a great source of v12 or whatever But it's not like listed out on the ingredients like exactly how much no and the reason why it's like you said Variable because this this stuff is grown. It's not manufactured And B vitamins are a byproduct of fermentation So unless I guess they test every single batch and create a new label every single time, right? They can't say accurately how much B vitamins is in there, but usually it's enough to knock your socks right off As will the acid right? Yes so Acids are antimicrobials and they've been found to fight off stuff like E. Coli Shigella salmonella cholera Again, this is in vitro This is like putting some of the acids from kombucha in a petri dish with Shigella and seeing what happens and this Acid kill the Shigella. So this is all just like Assuming that the same stuff is going to happen in the human body Because again, there's hasn't been a lot of human trials But we know that the acids that are produced in kombucha as it ferments do have antimicrobial Properties in a petri dish at least Yeah, exactly as far as if it could be bad for you Probably not. I mean it might upset your tummy a little bit as any probiotic could Initially at least until your tums gets used to it Anything unpasteurized like if you're having if you're trading like homemade kombucha is with friends and stuff like that There could always be a chance that there are some bacterias in there that aren't great for you The I think you can Get a pasteurized like professionally pasteurized kombucha, but that would kill off the live culture. So it's kind of like what's the point? Yeah, I mean it still has the acids in it So it's gonna have some benefits But yeah, the kombucha brewing communities like what you don't want to kill off all of this beneficial bacteria, you know It's very anti-boot. It is super anti-boot. I say before we wrap Chuck We we name check a few other brands cuz I love Yeah, so health aid is really really great there pink lady apple I would point people to All right, 221 BC. I think it's made in Florida. They make a lavender one. That's just amazing and their kombucha is real mild it's not nearly as tart and it's not nearly as fizzy as Most other kombucha's it's not quite as dense. So it'd be a good introduction to kombucha Hum is another great one and then big easy bucha All of those make really good kombucha and you can usually find all of those brands in just about any grocery store That's great. I'm gonna pass those along to Emily Do you take a probiotic in a dish or is this sort of covering your bases? I take mine intravenously Okay, just a slow drip. I Don't actually take a probiotic. I'm really terrible at keeping up with Supplements on a daily basis. I kind of take them when I think of it Probiotics definitely fall into that category for me. Yeah, I've gotten good at it with my my Diverticula problems, so I've a friend of mine sister said you should take this probiotic every day and it really has changed my Toilet routine. What's the do you know the brand and or the what's in it? Oh Can picture it in my head No, but I could always follow up if people are interested It's sort of just a good all-around probiotic and it it is right at my tummy. Nice. That's also a good way Yeah, yeah, I don't take probiotics, but I eat so much fermented stuff every day that it's kind of tantamount to it Yeah, we should do one eventually on the other Thing that I don't enjoy which is kimchi man. I eat that almost every day too. There's I know you love all it I do love it. And if you're nowhere near an Asian market There's something called Cleveland kimchi and you can find that in like your I think your Produce section along with like tofu and stuff like that and it's it's really good for packaged kimchi You could make that too at home. Can don't you bury kimchi? I Think so, that sounds very familiar All right, we'll have to look into that. That'd be a good topic Okay, so while we go off and think about kimchi let's all just wait a second and pause for listener mail Should I read one are we really pausing? Okay, hey guys recent ish listener discovered you during second year of the pandemic you've gotten me through a lot Including graduate school in the beginning of my most recent career transition Which brings me to the point of this email at a really difficult time shifting my career trajectory From engineering to veterinary medicine in the sense of making such a major time commitment to pursue more schooling after completing a master's degree My desire to learn far outweighed my concerns though. So I applied and needless to say I was extremely nervous going to vet school Through the interview process. It was an absolutely wild coincidence that you released your podcast The large equine history of veterinary medicine the day before I had my two interviews That episode reminded me of how much I love this field and how fascinating it is And I accepted this as a happy coincidence that calmed my nerves a bit allowed me to go into my interviews the next day with a high I'm sorry with the level head and Renewed faith in my decision. I was accepted to both programs. I interviewed for that day as well as a few other awesome Fast forward to today my second day of veterinary school and you released how we're learning to talk to animals I have now accepted that you're somewhat my guardian angels as you're shepherding me through this very exciting and very scary transition Aside from those specific times the podcast giving me so many laughs Fun facts and overall sense of calm and what can be an overwhelming world and I know you hear it a lot But I'm officially joining the ranks. You have made such a positive impact on my life Please keep doing it. "Vehicles your health insurance. I believe it can be cheaper. And i know people do it cheaper but they are doing what to me when it be. Rv like the whole purpose of of being out of time is the travel. And that's cost money because a fuel it's also the travel to see things which can cost money if you wanna go explore and tried to you know whatever your thing might be of. It's different restaurants museums of its shows of its broadway. Anything like that. Yeah if you just park somewhere in the middle of the desert for six months and don't go anywhere and don't do anything then. Yeah it's going to be cheaper but that to me isn't really rv. that's just. I call it parking. We always told people when we would do our seminars. Which hopefully will get to do again at some point but what we told people was. You know if you have if you're spending a lot of money being stationary you. You can't just switch not spend money just because you're traveling. You're you have to ease into a different kind of like a frugal lifestyle. And so if that's the way you want to live it's not necessarily are being. That's doing it you you that's doing. Yeah i agree with that. I love the work for it so much better than cheap long. Yeah i i agree when you jump into the rv world in may be cheaper. Say if you had a huge house and you sold the house for. I don't know say you sold it for six hundred thousand and you bought an rv for fifty thousand that just put money in your bank. Maybe in that mindset. It could be considered cheaper. I don't she's adult no yeah. I don't think so. I agree with you. I think if you live a expensive lifestyle at home you're gonna live in expensive lifestyle and the rv. yeah. I think if you're going into the rv thinking that you can live a cheap life. You could probably do the same thing living right where you are unless you live in california and new york. That's anything i mean you could. Yeah you could leak out for you go to arizona and bright. Cut your costs in half. You just saw that a town in california. Hit seven dollars and something forget. That's exactly what it was on. Say yes something. Like seven dollars on forty nine cents for regular eighty seven octane. I saw that that is unbelievable to me. I can't i wish i would have done the mass on what we have. Eighty gallon tank in here in my master's my five hundred and sixty dollars that'd be like pro-life hundred adding the change would be like over six hundred. Yeah that's just a that's not cheap living six hundred dollars to fill your guest. Yeah well the are definitely not a daily year. Well not ours anyway. I just filled up the truck yesterday and it was four dollars a gallon And must me think it was a hundred and five dollars hundred and five. Okay what size. Thank you got in your truck. Thirty one gallons. I think that's good sized tank. You need that. Dog is when you're win. Yeah you got your fifth wheel behind I've seen a couple of people. Have you ever thought about put in like a a separate. I don't even know if you would have room for it. Because of the fifth wheel. I separate like a separate tank. You can put in extra.

"It's so nice to meet you. And i'm going to show you the rains today. First up we have our cheddar from the big cheese which is basically disney news snippets and then after that we have our feature topic which is what we talk about for most of the episode and then after that we have our this day in disney history brought to you by me and after that is our game of. Who's who and that is brought to you by mike. My dad a fair warning. I'm almost never wrong when it comes to this game. I almost always win it. And then after that brenda will be giving us a quote from the big man. Himself walt disney. And it's just going to be amazing. So buckle up keep your hands arms feet and legs inside the car at all times. Make sure you're safe. Fasten your seatbelts all that good stuff and we will see you on the road. It's time to get going. Let's go harry one. I'm mike she sophie and she's brenda everyone. And that's grew. He says on the road. With mickey this is season two episode thirty seven for september thirteenth. Twenty twenty one. And i wanna give a shout say happy belated birthday to meemaw my mom and happy birthday to matt and shane. Who are in-laws nephew in-laws to my nieces. So happy birthday to them to every once and our feature topic this week is your favorite value resort. And why it's your favorite. So i think it's going to be a great topic. Is part one of a three part series. We're gonna look at the moderates next week and the deluxe the week after that. And i think we're going to have a lot of great input for you so listen up. If you have some thoughts about staying at one of these resorts i though i've got some show intel because we have some updates from last week and miss brenda sent us pictures and got permission for us to share from. Pj her crew on their wonderful pictures of being on the grand marshals at various parades. And so we're going to share some of those soon as i find it there. It is start sharing so we've got one of their such a sweet family. They looks like so much fun. I love it just awesome. I'm so glad they shared those. Those are so sweet. Yeah they are they are and then the festival fantasy parade picture. And then lastly the guess tickets you. I'm like certificate. Come on that's daddy's thank. He loves certificates that so. Yeah share those you. Pj for sharon knows with us. And i am glad that we were able to put them in place so they are internet famous app because everyone knows we have millions of listeners. Right right that's right. And one thing i need to correct okay. A few episodes back. We talked about a refurbishment for big thunder mountain railroad and we. It was very confusing to me. Because i it was saying disneyland. It was saying. Walt disney world. Well i have checked and double checked and triple checked and it's only disneyland. That is getting the refurbishment for big thunder mountain railroad. I'm sorry if anyone got confused or upset or anything like that and there will not be any refurbishment for big thunder mountain railroad at walt disney. World the disneyland. One starts started on september seventh and it goes into the fall with no date. Just that goes into the fall so for all you. Wwe people yeah. Because i i wanna rise the big thunder mountain me so taking us indoor cheddar from the big cheese. I have a debate and the debate has always been in my mind because it always revolves around food as we all know The angel debate has been. That disneyland has better. Toreros than walt disney world. I think it's a pretty non-debate. Because i think it's fairly true. But walt disneyworld is looking to end that debate. They're coming out with a new tro. Mickey head cookie to try to even things up and i have a picture to share one last picture. So we're gonna share and you're gonna see. Pj but what do you think of that. Mickey head schroeck cookie. Would you try it. It doesn't scream chiro to me. It looks delicious. It's basically a sugar cookie with chiro. Icing mine also is always on the cupcake. The cupcake is also. Sureau type cupcake. Try try every cupcake. Well i mean. I would try it but i don't think that it will ever top disneyland's rose. I don't know that it will either but anyway let me stops sharing. I'm just curious to see. And as far as i know they're only doing this this month. You can find it at big top souvenirs in the magic kingdom and it costs five dollars and forty nine cents so try and so i. I think i would try it for that price. I would try. And maybe it'll just tastes like sugar cookie with cinnamon icing. But i think it's worth trying but anyway yeah i think it is too if we could try one. We'll see if we get there in time to try one. But anyway it curious and i still i kind of ingredient with you so i don't think it's going to take the place of. I don't think it's going to take the place of the disneyland. So from everyone out there. Who's trying them. Please write in. Let us know what you thought. Exactly let us know. What do you think so all right. So that's my news. Brenda i got a couple of for ya well. Do you like club cool. I.

"B. e. dot com slash goal. Well the markets finished a positive week on a relatively quiet note. It was a mixed bag. You had the nasdaq and the russell. Two thousand positive on the day while the s&p and the dour the dow was down one hundred and seventy nine points point five seven percent. The big drag on the dow was ibm which was out with earnings after the bell yesterday but before the open today an ibm was down just under ten percent. Nine point nine percent. I don't know why anybody surprise when ibm misses its numbers. Because i think it happens pretty much every time it reports you know. Ibm has really been the poster boy. It was for massaging earnings manipulating earnings. And now a lot of those chickens have been coming home to and they haven't been able to a high the bad numbers anymore and so They're being released in. The stock routinely gets hammered When those numbers come out also gold. Stocks had a positive week as did the price of gold. Although there was a lot of selling pressure on gold this morning kind of out of nowhere. Gold gotten hammered. It was down over thirty bucks early in the morning. No real reason for the move. Although gold did manage to cut its losses about in half. I guess by the end of the day down about seventeen bucks still closing the week above eighteen fifty silver though was still down better than forty cents about forty nine cents again still had an overall positive week but ended the week on a relatively sour note although all of the macroeconomic fundamentals could not be more positive for golden silver. So today's sell off makes no sense against the backdrop of what's going on although this seems to be par for the course that the medals have been following for the entire bull market and my advice is always been just to take advantage of the dips and to use them as an opportunity to buy in fact what are the bullish. Factors should be joe. Biden's executive orders not too long before i began recording this podcast. Joe biden was on live television announcing his new executive orders designed to aid the economy in this pandemic during its time of trouble and i wanna start off the podcast by really going over two aspects in particular of what biden had to say number one has to do with deficits according to joe biden. The economists all agree and of course there are lots of keynesian economists who do agree but there are many economists who actually understand economics who would disagree vienna ming with what those economists have to say and president biden but according to biden we need to take advantage of these low interest rates..

Sorry folks, you need to upgrade phone every year now

"We may not like I'm going to say so let me just get it out. Get used to it. It's time to just keep your phones for a year that's it period. Upgrade every twelve months because as good as your old phone is upgrading makes a lot more economic sense. And why fight it apple Samsung and Google do such an amazing job. Every twelve months of convincing us why we need to ditch the old model for the new I say you just go with it. Now, there's many websites online that will buy your old phone from you and apple best buy in the wireless carriers play that game too or you could sell it yourself on Ebay or craigslist maybe make a little bit more money. But in order to get good dollars for the device, it needs to be the latest model. For instance declutter DOT COM, they'll pay four hundred and fifty nine dollars for last year's iphone eleven pro or five hundred dollars for the eleven pro Max. The models that initially sold for a thousand dollars in eleven hundred dollars. Now, apple promises to offer just about the same in trading credit four, hundred, fifty or five hundred dollars now granted your device has to be in good condition without a cracked screen and noticeable wear and tear apple insists that it turns on and functions normally all the buttons and cameras work. The body is free of dents and scratches, and at the touchscreen and back glass are undamaged good luck with that one. Now Apple, ask you to answer those questions online, and if they agree that you have indeed been truthful, you get the five hundred dollar credit or. Quote if your device does not match the condition you described, you'll receive a revised trade in. Value Unquote. Let's say apple only gives you four hundred dollars for a new phone and you nabbed thousand dollar iphone twelve pro for six hundred bucks plus tax, and you plan to trade it back twelve months from now your cost of ownership a dollar sixty, five a day. For a device that you will use every day all day for email texts, web serving facebook, posting tweets, paying for goods, stores, hailing an Uber or lift listening to music, watching movies and TV shows taking all those amazing photos and sharing them everywhere under the sun. Now the point is a dollar sixty five a day is that really minor purchase even when you do the math and expanded to eleven dollars and fifty five cents a weekly or fifty dollars monthly. Now, in Apple's new phone, you get stronger glassed it says is four times less likely to crack a camera that takes better photos in low light higher resolution video, a more powerful processing chip for spiff your performance, and as good as the eleven pro model is is just not as good. If you don't feel like selling I understand but hear me out because if you go back further in time you're older phones just aren't worth much. The tennis Max will get your three, hundred, seventy bucks the tennis three, hundred dollars the ten are two, fifty, the eight, plus two, ten, the eight, one, forty, and considering that these older phones have more years on them. The odds of them nabbing the amount of money that apple tout's is really remote. Now, just to confuse you even more the carriers have basically turned the corner and they're sort of offering free phones in deals again with that new two year or slightly longer contract, the iphone twelve is free with at and T.. Trade in thirty month commitment to paying sixty eight dollars and forty nine cents monthly for an unlimited plan. But I think that they'll stinks because you're on the hook for two thousand and fifty four dollars you're locked into a plan they could charge more than rivals and you'll have to pay a penalty to leave early. Trading Street to apple or selling to a use site makes a lot more sense financially. T mobile throws a hundred and fifty dollar gift card on top your trade-in. Once you sign up for service, which is good while verizon sells you the new phone on time fifteen dollars monthly for existing customers were ten dollars thirty seven cents monthly for new customers with a two year term on top of the trade in again, you'll pay a lot more for the phone this way. So a way better deal sign up for apple's credit card, which offers no interest monthly installments for the new phone over a two year period with a four hundred dollars traded on the iphone eleven pro you're looking at twenty dollars and seventy nine cents monthly. Now, that's a two year contract. You'll have to Weasel Anna in twelve months but apple says, you can do it and it ends up clocking in at sixty nine cents a day and you WanNa hold onto your old phone. Really.

A Look At Apple's Hi, Speed Event

"Few huge surprises at apple's high speed event though. There were some unexpected bits. Did. Anybody. See The verizon thing coming? Did we have any idea what? MAG SAFE WAS GONNA turn out to be. There we'll get to those. Most of today's presentation is drawn from a couple of viewings of the Apple Park presentation. We'll also pull from the usual suspects doing their usual bang-up jobs. Tuesday's high-speed event presentation started with Apple CEO Tim Cook welcoming viewers back to Apple Park than throwing the presentation almost immediately to others to give the INS and outs of home pod. Many. Bob Board richer's apple VP worldwide product marketing listed the company's desires for home pod. Wanting. The device to have amazing sound to act as an intelligent assistant to serve as a smart home hub all while protecting the privacy and security of the user. This, they say they do in a smaller spherical unit that costs less than one third of the original home pods original asking price. On the amazing sound side company bragged on the devices ro properties as well as how well it plays with others. Others being other apple devices. Users can apparently sink home pod many's either a stereo pairs or to play the same audio throughout the home. The. Inclusion of apples you one processor makes handoff easier to handle according to the company. For what it'll play. Well, there's the usual stuff apple music, apple podcasts, iheartradio radio DOT COM tuned in with Pandora and Amazon music on the way in the coming months. As for the smart part Home Pod, many will handle or interact with messages. Calendar phone calls maps music because. The. Weather reminders and find my feature. There was also an interesting demo where users ask for personal updates and got them. personalized. So he you know multiple voice recognition is key. Now. One new feature mentioned and de Mode was intercom. This is basically what it sounds like. You tell home pod to deliver a message to everybody and the various apple devices in the house including other home pods, iphones, apple watches air pods, and even carplay units play or display the message. I have heard entercom will work with the original home pods as well though not seeing that confirmed. Addressing. It's smart home hub nece home pod many integrates with apple's home APP that lets control home connected accessories said scenes and stuff like that. Covering User Privacy Apple, says no word spoken to Home Pod, leave your home until you touch home pod many or say he. S I are. So, yes, it is always listening but what it here's goes nowhere until you give it the command. Request. A home pot or not associated with apple ID. You choose whether recordings are saved by apple personal requests only work when the associated iphone is home with you. And communications with smart home accessories used strong encryption according to the company. Now I, said earlier that the unit is spiritual. If you've seen a home pod, there is no mistaking what this thing is. Same sort of light up display on the top same mesh wrapping it's roundedness and the same white and space grey options as the original home pod. Coming soon to flat surface near you. Orders for home pod many began on the sixth of November unit, start, shipping the week of the sixteenth of November. Not Price, to beat an echo but not a device that will break the bank. Home Pod many will sell. For, Ninety, nine bucks. Okay. I pretend to hear you say but I'm worried about breaking my home pause many. Not sure why but better to be safe in your case. To that end apple care plus we'll be available for home pod. Many. A piece from macrumors says, that will run buyers fifteen bucks. When Tim Cook was back on camera, he took a moment to Brag on iphones past noting the iphone eleven has been the number one smartphone in the world since its launch and that I phone has led the industry in customer satisfaction every year since it's Get ready to hate all of them as the iphone twelve line makes the scene bringing with it five G. Connectivity. Which one? All of them. Had Been Rumored Apple announced four iphone phone twelve models and has had also been rumored. Each can support five G.. Cook says, five G. Brings A new level of performance for downloads UPLOADS, higher quality video streaming, more responsive gaming, real time interactivity, and more. The CEO says five Jia superfast, which he actually pitched as a security feature speeds are so good. He says you'll be less tempted to sign on the public WIFI limiting exposure to the dangers that lurk there. Every decade brings new technology that provides a step change in what we can do with iphone said Cook. Today. A new era begins for iphone. Today we're bringing by G. to phone. Then began the verizon commercial. Hans Fest Berg Chairman and CEO. Verizon took to the stage talk about big reds five G. offering. Verizon's by ultra wideband with large quantities of millimeter wave access will be live and sixty cities across the US by the end of this year. In ideal conditions, Best Burg says the carriers seen four gigabits down and two hundred megabits up. The four gigabits is kind of funny own Antonio Guy says an ideal conditions. Well it doesn't sound like you're getting four GIGA beds but we'll get, him. The other thing best Burger announced was flipping the switch on Verizon's extensive five gene nationwide network. That apparently went live yesterday. Boy would I like to know the terms of the deal worked out between, that bill and Verizon? Emphasis on particular carrier. I did not see coming. Now I said iphone twelve comes in four models here the rumor mill rang true. The phones are iphone twelve iphone twelve many iphone twelve pro and iphone twelve pro, Max. Starting with iphone twelve, remember the squared off edges of iphone Four. The new design returns us to that. Squared edges that meet flush with the devices front and back glass the front classes something special though. Working with corning delay, this display is protected by what apple. Calls Ceramic. Shield. It is said by the company to be tougher than any other smartphone class with four times better dropped performance than iphone eleven. The display it's protecting is apple custom Ole ed providing truer blacks, better contrast and two times the pixels iphone eleven or four, hundred, sixty pixels per inch. While that displays the same six point one inches iphone eleven, apple shrank the surrounding enough to make iphone. Eleven percent than her fifteen percent smaller and sixteen percent lighter than iphone. Eleven Choice of colors is not huge but they are pretty. With options and black. White Product Red Green. And blue that. Does things for me. I shouldn't talk about in mixed company. The candy coating is nice. Let's talk about. It's Chewy. Chocolate center starting with the phones five Genus Apple says, iphone twelve has the most five G. bands of any smartphone for better performance in more places. Additionally the company's silicon, the software approach. Let's apple make the best use of available five G. including choosing to not use five. G.. It sounds like iphone defaults to lt e tapping into five G. when it's both necessary and available. That is great for power consumption according to the company. Apples tested the new phones on over one hundred carriers and over thirty regions. In ideal conditions iphone twelve gets up to three point five gigabits on. which is what makes the Brian Bragging about four gigabytes down kind of funny yesterday. It does support millimeter wave those so. got that going for it. As, for the phones on workings iphone twelve powered by apple's a fourteen bionic, the first phone powered by the five nanometer processor technology packing eleven point eight billion transistors roughly forty percent more than eight thirteen. A six core CPU that's up to fifty percent faster than last year's phone and a four core GPU graphics that are up to fifty percent faster than last year's model. Machine learning also gets a boost iphone, twelve packs of sixteen coordinator and Gen that's up to eighty percent faster than iphone eleven capable of eleven, trillion operations per second. Company bragged on Games claiming console quality for the phone. To Demonstrate and executive from riot games showed off League of legends wild rift a mobile, only game due out later this year. Well phone twelve is not the phone photographers would choose. There's plenty of improvement and it's cameras. Apple says the phone has a twelve megapixel ultra wide camera and twelve megapixel wide camera. It said the sport, the fastest aperture yet it also features a seven element lens that apple says offers twenty-seven percent improvement in low light performance. Mag Save is an internal thing. Rather than a name for a connector is in days of old MAG. Safe today is a collection of magnets and charging elements that help line up the phone for proper charging. When it's not charging those magnets go to work holding on cases and wallets and third party stuff. Apple expects a thriving ecosystem of third party doodads take advantage of the newly introduced MAG. Safe. Ness. Mag Safety. Safe thing. Anyway. It's a thing built into iphone twelve. Every model in the line. Now's probably phone twelve many. Except for the size, you can take everything I've said so far about iphone twelve and play it back. iphone twelve many has the same specs as iphone twelve though in a slightly smaller size. The company says the mini is smaller and lighter than four point seven inch models like iphone eight but with a bigger five point four inch display. Apple says, this one is the smallest thinnest and lightest five G. phone. In the world. Talking about last night with Frederik, Van Johnson, and a few other folks on Chuck joiners Mac. Voices. We came to the conclusion that the pro phones for two groups, people who wanna spend as much money as they can afford. Or people who really care about the camera. There's nothing wrong with the camera functionality and the iphone twelve or iphone twelve many. Unless you count they're not being as high end as the camera on the high end. No I'm not a high end photo guy. So there was a lot set around iphone twelve pro, an iphone twelve pro Max that escapes me. The camera on iphone twelve pro boxes said by apple to have a sixty five millimeter focal length from fifty two millimeter focal length and last year's counterpart. It's got five times optical zoom range and the set to support an eighty seven percent improvement in low light versus last year's top of the pro line. I do know enough to be impressed by one thing. The pro line can shoot an apple pro raw. or it will be able to with a software update. Later, this year photographers will also be able to edit those images. Directly, in the photos APP. The pros can also handle. HD are video recording catching seven hundred million colors. Sixty Times, the number they could capture before. Apple, said they also sport the first smartphone camera that'll record in dolby vision hd are. And just like the apple pro raw functionality users will be able to edit the dobie vision HDR video in the photos APP. Finally the light are rumors were finely true the twelve pro and twelve pro Mac speech or a world facing light detection and ranging scanner. That let folks scan and modeled their surroundings. Apples Demos showed that put to use for placing objects in an augmented reality environment performing improved autofocus and low light and improving camera that perception in low light for night moat. Working our way out of these phones, Greg, Joswiak, apple's newly minted senior. VP Worldwide Marketing talked about a few of the pro lines features. It's got mad safe. It's got ceramic shield. It's got a Super Ratna FDR display. As for sizes iphone twelve pro gets bumped from five point eight inch display display size of six point one inches the pro Max meanwhile goes six point five inch display to a display size of six point seven. All of it is bound by the same squared off edges as iphone twelve, the with a couple of distinctions. I. The outer band is stainless steel on the pro line and second the colors are a bit more refined. Coming in silver graphite a gold that looks seriously golden. And the Pacific. Blue that doesn't do as much for me as the blue on the IPHONE twelve. Not that I'd turn it down. If cost is your primary concern. Here is what you're looking at across the whole line of iphones. iphone se. Start Three, hundred, ninety, nine dollars iphone ten are starts at four ninety, nine iphone eleven starts at five, ninety, nine iphone many starts at hundred ninety, nine dollars iphone twelve starts at seven ninety, nine, iphone twelve pro starts at nine, ninety nine. An iphone Pro Max starts at one, thousand, ninety, nine dollars. For the new phones though those prices are only Kinda SORTA true. Peace, from the Mac Observer says iphone twelve many an iphone twelve do start at six, ninety, nine and seven, ninety nine if you buy them as a t and T or verizon phones if you buy one is either a sprint or t mobile phone or as an unlocked phone. The starting prices are seven, twenty, nine, and eight, twenty nine. With no indication as to why. While it's great that ceramic shield means less of a chance of broken display. The chance is still there. If that bugs, you apple care pluses there for all of them. macrumors says, two years of coverage will run one, hundred, forty, nine dollars for iphone and twelve mini. Adding loss or theft protection will up that price to to nineteen buyers can get ongoing coverage for seven, ninety, nine per month or eleven dollars and forty nine cents with loss and theft added. As for the higher end phones, the pizzas, two years of Apple Care Plus will cost one, nine, thousand, nine or nine dollars ninety nine cents per month. Theft. And loss coverage bumps that price to two, hundred, sixty, nine dollars or thirteen dollars and forty nine cents per month. Ongoing. As for availability, apple is starting in the middle. And working out. Would owners can order iphone twelve and iphone twelve pro this Friday the sixteenth. October. They'll be delivered the following Friday the twenty third. If you're targeting either end of the range. iphone twelve, many an iphone twelve pro Max will go up for order on the sixth of November. Delivery should hit the following Friday the thirteenth of November. Barring incident which I have to say because. Friday

Stalking a Short on Bitcoin

"Today in the markets guess what gave a market a Bush mock. I don't mean the market that I tried and did you try to count the number. Love me for hope. Anyway I'm talking more about the futures in the US. Of course. I'll have been talking a little bit more about that off light because it has been talk of the town has been moving quite extraordinarily. It's not a market that I focus my attention on or take people to try to teach people to try cryptocurrency because this volatility what we get that more frequently and now you understand why not try traditional markets and wiped away a couple years ago. To focus on crypto full time. I'm we're up on the close. We're up a thousand over thousand points on the E. Mini four point five percent. The and the s over spots are the s all the S. and P. Five hundred has resigned above three thousand again that appear at people like the fact the Mr Bloomberg has Bildt on the rice and Mr Bernie Sanders is less likely to to win. I think this seems to be a parent from what's happened to the markets are the things that come through that I've seen is the The the primary it appears the business seems to think in markets for that medicine to think. That's a Baden government a better a better outlook full business than I sanders. One and I forget. The market is a complete replication of capitalism. I it's it's what it is. It's about making money it's about you know. Markets go up if money's being made if things are positive So that Swab. It appears that Baden has been given the thumbs up by the markets as he did creep ahead. That's for sure so talking back across to To Amok at the market that I do try democracy. I do get people to learn about teach people to try his KRYPTONITE. Had A great deal moment a great deal of moving on? I'm market over the last twenty four hours with pretty much flexible there. There are a couple of exceptions in all. I'll speak to those in just a moment. One thing I wanted to talk about is if you're not following me on on facebook. You really should be Craig Cobb. That's a Double Bay for Bravo not day God on the fish when I was called as in kkob cow Hasn't yes I know you're saying on the voice corn on the cob all of that one before jolly you say we have had a stimulus. Packages can obviously Hong Kong suggestive funded. Something point something billion three point two billion. I think it was and we've had a believe. Sean has also come out and said they were going to stimulate put stimulating talk of people that need to state high getting up ten thousand dollars for doing so to rip To sort of I suppose gave the incentive to stay high because a main think about somebody who who doesn't work for office here so what is out there and who does physical labor. What are they doing right now? Steinheim and do what from high while the flora can swipe itself from harm Is it site? There is a lot of paper especially the Guide to saw on. This was what the stimulus packages around the world. There to sort of help with so people actually do take. Hey to the advice and stay home now. What does that mean well? Stimulus is not a bad thing. As long as it doesn't lay damore printing of money now of course the US has been exercising. It's it's Apparent right to print money for a number of as a matter of fact it started in two thousand nine hundred ninety recently stopped on. I think it'd just find out the press guy So far as quantitive easing goes in the printing if further money I think it'll be very very interesting and potentially very dangerous if other countries to sort through the site because you know if other countries go out and so we've got lots of money then it's I don't know how they will react to that Americans have gotten away with it because they're America. Okay that the dollar's seemingly backed by their eyesight that the defence force. Because you know it's not it's not a gold pin currency anymore and oddly enough they feel to Conley battered if other countries would go out there and press now. This is not something. I'm an expert on. I'm just looking at this guy. Well if if you know if the market's wonderful further we interest rates more or less globally the silo. We haven't got that Fatah guy. What will the weapons that we had last global financial crisis? Well let me tell you what those weapons were. Those weapons were number one. We had interest rates to cut interest rates to make it easy for bank. Selanne which was alive all right. Let's go do those opportunity there number three well if all else guys to the bottom of the barrel print more money okay. So they used all three of those to push the most the longest bull. Run that we've had in modern times. Now what are they this time will Jason Tonight? Qa that's bad it stimulant lights. It's it's hard to see what sort of weaponry that they have out there at the moment to continue to stimulate growth Markets Steinke forever. And it's going to be interesting so I said keeping a pretty you type in view. I suppose that everything's going to be okay but also the back of my mind. I am starting to read a little bit more When it comes to government policy Saudi Arabia doing on Titan little notice than I normally would just so that I can be ahead of the curve is more important to me than anything else brought now. Let's go throughout market and have a little little challenge. What's going on Bitcoin? Thousand seven hundred forty four dollars point two percent now. The thing is if you look at the two hour shot here. There's a try that I call the you've heard before the bitcoin rake and there is one way to test was not quite. It's it's better saying on the bit mixed job support. They'RE GONNA have locust one of my strategy's not they're incompletion and you haven't with the rules unless you do and if you do good if you don't stay away you're already but it is building there. We do have a bit of a daily downturn do gacy a short today. I will take good thing is I just did my scan. I've tried but long short Tries TO WIPE APU bucks. Got Pretty much everything that I'd like to have the mind pretty good pretty good watch this today. Their aims down but pretty much flat. It's two twenty three. Seventy six six up pays up point. Three Senate twenty three point five cents. We got bitcoin cash three dollars. Sorry three dollars. Three hundred nineteen dollars. Ninety five cents. It's down two point. Nine percent the biggest fuller across the board has to be said it is Vail. It's just changed. But his two hundred and thirty two dollars and ninety five cents. It's down six point. One four percent. There was a pullback into an all support level and it was a little bearish candle in that cradles on. Potentially that could have been a tribe. Did I take it did I say yes? Why Not Take it? Well a believe you find. It is rule number five in the cradle tried law coin sixty thousand forty nine cents is down a US three dollars and fifty nonsense. It's standpoint non. Barnes is in the grain. It's at one point three five Senate nineteen Dole's at a nonsense not looking at the moment for any longs on Bonnets. Although there is some support styling Resist inside and build also fuxing in the moment on trading with trends trading Focusing on tries in the direction of the daily trend that is my focus at the Mon- that's where my focus will stay because that is with a high probability opportunities live at the mum. I took it tried yesterday against bitcoin lower risk because my bitcoin trying to guidance bitcoin an Ulster Bitcoin. Looking a loss. It's been pretty crap for me this year. It's not it's not been a area of big profit it's actually being a losing area for me The perpetual contracts against doll. That's been very successful this year And that has always been a focus for the tribe simply because he got one stable which is the US. Do pitcher whether whether it's cooled but you've also got one very volatile whereas if you try against Bitcoin you got to be very volatile and this year. It's it's just you know the ones that have taken a little older. But I've had more stop outs profits having one of the one of the other prophets. I'd closed at because I was helping the old man get better than old man. Philo Look after elevate shaking soy just close the trade Before stopping it's been a bit topsy. Turvy FOR MATES. The Aldi Haul Episode: January Edition

"All right now? This is the hall but their brother. It'd be their brothers store. Career Joe's has just announced their version of plant based Burger. They're calling them protein patties and the box. It looks pretty much like the beyond Burger packaging like the almost exactly the same just with with their own name on it It comes What has eighteen grams of protein made from a blend of protein sunflower oil beats and seasonings and for the package which which comes with two? It's a four dollars and forty nine cents which I believe is significantly cheaper than beyond so I thought why don't we try them. So I went to trader Joe's to go get them and and I did not come back with them. The stats are crazy. High Two hundred ninety calories a patty and twenty grams of fat. That is very high. Weren't aren't they calling them. Protein patties. It should be called Fatty Pettis. No seriously I have to say like I. I would have tried them so I think we should try them. But I don't understand. Like I am a big proponent of plant based Patties I've been eating the Boca patties and the Morningstar patties forever and I thought they were amazing. Doing what I love the most about the original Boca patties. They were seventy sometimes eighty calories. They tasted a lot like burger. There were very low in fat. All all of these new patties are there just loaded with fat and a lot of them with saturated fats. And I don't quite understand why I think they just trying to add so so much fat and flavor and intern calories. They're just trying to fool people into thinking. This tastes as rich as full. Fat Fatty Fat. Now they call them like the bleeding patties. Is there supposed to be like juicy like real burgers. How many calories are in our normal hamburger probably around the same as a lot of these impossible burgers depending on how thick the Patty is? But they're pretty thin. Kim I mean if you go to a restaurant with a big thick burger your pet. He's going to have a lot more but these are not gigantic patty so I would say typically I. I'd be shocked if there was more than three hundred calories and twenty grams of fat in a thin Burger. I honestly think less because think about it even regular ground beef. What to fifty to sixty four ounce portion Kevin probably yeah? I don't know it's upsetting but we'll try. You've ruined everything. Mike Saving the day by not making your try it and now you want it thank you. You're very thoughtful and I know that if there was peanut butter involved in some way we'd be eating those patties right. I found out that it's not today that this podcast airing today that we're recording it. National Peanut Butter Day. What wow law? I hope we get to celebrate Pyotr. You can have more all right. We're GONNA jump into the Aldy Hall. We love all the all. The is a sister store to trader. Joe's I don't know if you have an all near you. I feel like it's even more inexpensive offensive than trader. Joe's there are some fun cool things. What are some of those dickey things? I don't get to go to all these as much as So everything that they have. That's it's their own brand. Looks like the real stuff. So like frosted flakes looks like frost. The other version looks like frosted flakes are. I'm trying to think of some of the healthiest like their their protein. Eighteen bars mirrors and what about checkout again. There's something crazy right so checkout you you have to bag your own groceries. Jamie thought it was kind of funny. Aw I thought it was weird. Because she's putting everything into our cart and I'm thinking if I just open a bag and put it in the car. She's doing the same amount of work. Oh she won't put it in the now we have to take Out of a cheese but she picked up each item and put it in our card so I just wanted to be like. Here's a bag of weight. And so so wait. She won't let you just take it has to. I put it in the car and then you have to go to. Mike said No. You have to go to the bagging station and I think it's efficiency because there are things that go through that line really fast. So I think it's an efficiency thing was inefficient. Whatever it is? They're able to sell things very inexpensively. Mike actually has received today so he may rattle off just how inexpensive some of these finds are truth be told I had nothing to do with picking these products out. They were brought to me. I am being surprised with all all of them sometimes and fake it. I'm sorry like a lot of more new but some of the things we have to talk about this so we did a good job. I hope you did
