"You start to see that kind of green up a little bit. So, you know, as you look around daffodil starting to pop up here and there to of starting to pop up here and there so you know, and again if you've. Got spring bulbs that are popping up out of the ground. Now, the malls don't worry about them. Don't do anything for them. They know what they're doing. They're in control. They know what they're doing. So let them do their thing. But I'm telling you spring is gonna spring now I'm looking at ten day forecast. And it looks like I think in the next week and the following week the bottom kind of drops, I would go back into some pretty cold temperatures. And if you remember Ron Ross are certified Arborist, but hobby meteorologist said this was going to happen this up and down thing until we get through the end of February. And then get into March up and down weather so put on your seatbelt. And that's exactly what's happening. So we've got another it looks like another cold front coming through later on drop them back down again. But then you know, you start watching the air temperatures, and it's not all about the air temperatures. We'll talk more about this later, but remember is several years not about just about the air temperatures. The key here is the soil temperatures because once the soil temperature start to come up. And match the air temperatures on a regular basis. That's when everything really starts to explode. That's when it starts to happen. So if you've got your soil thermometer what you don't have a soil thermometer. If you have your sore throat monitor you can start to watch the temperatures go to green cast, online dot com. What's the cell temperatures? And trust me when they start to reach into that forty five fifty degrees on a regular basis. That's when you start to see things really come along. But I'm telling you spring, it it is you can just feel it. You can see it just starting to show just a tad. It's right around the corner, of course, with all the garden show always call that the kickoff for the spring season. So that's happening this week. So.

"Effort your energy into it starts going. Well. And then something happens. It's usually not in the business. It's using the areas that you weren't paying attention to those areas that I've found have been the biggest obstacles for people to overcome. An are also the biggest obstacles that people avoid, and that's their mental and physical wellbeing and understanding that the more someone laughs more someone has fund the more someone feels good the better their business is going to grow that sometimes seems counter intuitive because work my business. Gotta work my business. What is your business? And that's the question. What is your business is your business you or is it or is your business something that you do because a lot of times we've been in business? We change it constantly our business changes. We don't change we do change because we get older things happen injuries stress. But the reality of it is business is what you do. Not who you are. So Megan are there if there ever been times in our business where you put that first and then something derailed in? What would that something of been? Oh, quite a leading question might say. Yeah, for sure I mean Sinai are visit us, Shannon. I are like wired very differently. And I'm kind of wired to be like the super overachiever action taker decisions really fast, and I really like to be in a lot of action and a lot of doing specifically as it relates to the business side of our lives and not just like the building. The business in the making money side. But I love to like analyze I love to research. I love to write I love decree and innovate in my brain is kind of always in the on position. So let's now that real crowd today today. What did you do from the time? You woke up to right now. While this morning. I started my day with meditation. I have a guided meditation that I listened to it's about twenty minutes and in that meditation. I also do some visualization of what of lately, I've been visualizing our dream house. Okay. Like seeing myself what I'm wearing what I'm doing. What the furniture looks like like all the details. The color of the countertops. What I see Malik windows. Judge us like living in it. So that's something that I've been visualizing Lally. And then right after that, I go directly to my brain number chard high-performance planner that he came out with like a month or two ago. And I answer his morning mindset questions. I identify who. I want to be today. What intention I wanna have? I look at like what could possibly trip me up today. I indicate my top goals and the top tasks that have to get done today. And then I just rewrite my schedule there, even though I plan my day like usually a week in advance. And then I've kind of rejig my schedule a bit, which I'm still working on to create more time and space for me to have creative stimulation and are stimulated creativity. I guess that's a better way of saying it where I am really thinking asking myself questions writing to get become more and more clear on the message were sharing with the world the content. We're producing the value are providing and we are in the beginning of a launch right now. They're like emails to go out. There's people to follow up with there's people who are asking us questions because they're wondering if our program is right for them or not sort of not managing, but also like kind of staying on top of our marketing team and some other people. So that was my whole morning until about twelve thirty this afternoon. So I didn't move from the couch. So here's mine all that time, your here's the difference between us. Up at six thirty quick shower. Get our daughter up she goes down. I get downstairs. I get her. Breakfast Meghan gets her dress. I take her to school. Then I'm at the gym at the gym have made I made a phone call. From the gym came home took the dogs out took another shower because they went to the grocery store bought the groceries came back. We'll Megan's doing the things on the couch. I'm making almond butter and getting our lunch ready. And then I have this. We're doing right now. And then a couple of phone calls in event, maybe this evening and possibly meeting up with a potential client later on. So how it works we balance is you guys can here. It's different. So how does it work because I'm doing things at Megan would rather not do? And she's doing things that I would rather not do. So it's not that both of us. Couldn't do it. It's where we're putting her energy that's gonna benefit us as a couple and as a business overall. So that's why we did in what we do. We do the interesting thing about it is mega it'll be upstairs. Sometimes she'll go. What's the temperature like outside? Am I really because I've been back and forth and through this and here in Florida right now, the weather can change drastically as in. It was forty five fifty degrees three days ago. It's now eighty outside. It's sunny, it's warm you've been outside yet. No ban walked, Mike. No. I'll be walking home today for my cranial. Secret, chiropractic appointment ask why that happens from sitting at a chair to not. Well, I think it was a lot of things actually. I mean, I think it was. I mean. I've had neck pain and haven't been able to move my head to the or to the left like turn it sideways are looked left look to the right for a long time. Like, I've had horrible range of motion for years, and it finally came to a head and my neck was in so much pain. I think it was a combination of stress of the way that I hunched when I sit at my desk, not stretching off throughout the day, not relaxing throughout the day. There's a number of things. So here's the thing. That's interesting about life and about business. The more we move and take action the more fluid employable, we become in our business becomes when we sit there and focus on one thing in area can get stiff can get dry. It cannot be motivating stretching. Right. It's like physically touching the muscle's stretching. So here's here's the thing about stretching stretching most people just go where it gets a little uncomfortable. They they're like, okay, I'm fine. It's enough the stretching. People should be doing is taking that stretch holding where it's uncomfortable. Breathing into it relaxing, and then going a little deeper. That's the exact same thing in business. A lot of people we see get along comfortable pullback. Get a little uncomfortable pullback. They're really not stretching one their physical mind to their creative mind. And what happens is we get stiffen lock in because we're doing the same exact thing over and over and over and expecting a different results. So you're actually got a break up your routine, add something to it evaluate what it's working in your life in your business in hobbies, you're doing how are those things stimulating you in making you want to be a better person and do more in your business. So yeah, there's a launch going on. But really are you doing any more? Work per day than you normally would do now. It's just focused differently. Yes. So that's the interesting thing, it's actually more focused because right launch. Right. So why would a launch Mickey more focus than anything else? Because when you have a launch there is a plan in place there are deadlines in place every single day. There is a sequence that you're following. Because you're so clear on what the goal is what the end goal is. And I think when we're not in like a launch just forces you to be that clear on everything in a way that thing about what you said is it really fortunate. Bullet required invites you invites you to be. So why aren't you then doing that in every day and everything you're doing while? I do. Okay. So that is not at is probably like seventy percent. So so here's the thing that happens when we transition from working for other people to ourselves we still pick up that same mentality. We had that we have to get something done. And it's forcing us to do it. Those are called dead. Lines, but deadlines actually are measurable points that things need to be accomplished sometimes in your business. You don't have like I'm going to get you in a couple of months. Okay. What dates we may what months bouquet April. What day? I don't know give me a day. Thank you time. There's no negative consequences. To getting to that. But sometimes we build up if we don't get to it. They'll be negative consequences and that comes from working for other people. But if you put him positive things that you're doing like going to the gym eating healthier a reward system really focuses you much more than a negative soak. Is that you sometimes had by being yourself up. So what are you doing now? Or are you doing now as a reward when you're getting things accomplished with us launch? That's a great question. I don't have that stuff already figured out and decided ahead of time. And I actually think that is what it works better for me. Personally. What does already deciding ahead of time? Okay. This is gonna be my celebration. And this is when I'm gonna use this as a celebration, if it's a we had a great day or we made a sale or we hit our sales goals, like whatever the different benchmarks are goals. Are if I don't our pre decide what those things are going to be and like draw a line in the sand. I won't do it at all. So how do you add value to something like that or diminished value to something like that to what do you mean by that? So whatever you're picking sometimes when I go out to eat that's diminished value to me. It's not more of like, oh, let's go to this place. It's if the energy in which you're discussing the thing, you're going to do for yourself, and how you're building it up like have you ever seen a child getting ready for the birth theory than Christmas? They started to speak out. Oh, yeah. Like right now starts nine months out. So why do kids do you already told me the other day? She's eight she's like ten. Thinking about being ten she she jumped in the nine. So so the thing is why do kids do that. And I remember when I was a kid man Christmas themed ber ever the first sign of Christmas was coming back. When I was a child was the Sears wish book catalogue, they didn't start putting things into stores until after thanksgiving. Now, I swear to God it's like September twenty twenty-ninth really weird. So when we have reminders of things we can enjoy because of our successes, I do believe that it gives you the constant motivations moving higher going. Further would also see is when people beat themselves up or punish themselves on the journey to get somewhere. Once they get there. There's no celebration, and they have to take a break because they're exhausted mentally because they beat themselves up to push to claw their way to grind. It will also there's another following yelling that you have the feeling you have right. If you are frustrate. Rated with a certain scenario or circumstance you're gonna go in one direction with your following decisions. And choices if you are. So let's see if you're frustrated at in. We're talking business, right? Yeah. What happens if you do something you enjoy what would happen to that frustration? Well, I think it depends know what would happen to it. It's gonna impotence the negative. If you're doing something positive Jeffries, influenced the negative. So why don't people just take a break with her frustrated? Gopher walk clam motivational song. Call a best friend and have some fun. And then get back to the thing. That was frustrating. Irritating are trust me. I do I. Okay. Great. I don't think you are. You didn't hear the whole thing. I was gonna say could go ahead from what most people do is. They make a decision based on the current leading short-term feeling to have right now. So of in our business, and we're in a launch right now. And there's so many moving parts there's team members. There's things that aren't happening on the timeline. I would want them to happen on you guys hear that your voice right there. And I was starting to get frustrated. And when I was sitting in that frustration the action that I saw myself about to take was not gonna take us integrate direction. So I let myself be frustrated..

"That's what it feels like minus fifty degrees wind chill smack in the face. It is brutally cold for the record. Yeah. I was hitting the face. The baseball me too. I know. It's it's dangerous. It's so dangerous that even plows in the Dakotas. North Dakota have have been the idol. It's it's it's just not safe to be outside. But it's getting cold faster for you know, the several thousand people in Illinois in Wisconsin looks like Minnesota and parts of North Dakota up in Fargo thousands of people without power right now. And so they're gonna have to decide quickly what to do because without power. There goes your sheet where it gets this cold you need to make the decision fast. So it's burly cold as I think we talked about earlier this week. It certainly makes winter a little bit more interesting around here. Amtrak service is cancelled in around the region more than two thousand flights are cancelled out of Chicago's airports. You know, it's so cold that outdoor ice exhibit in nearby Lake Geneva, Wisconsin has has been shot down as well. So if people are taking this seriously, and they're staying warmness staying inside. So a lot of people are just staying home. And hoping the power doesn't go out hoping and praying because once it goes out, if it goes out, then that poses a real problem, and you have to get to a warming center, or, you know, somebody, you know, warming centers, hundreds of them have opened up here in Wisconsin bars opened up early. Not to serve beer or or or cocktails, but a disservice warming centers for people who who need them, you know, and there is a lot of need out there. Plus, I would think if with power outages, it's so cold, it may be tough on the power crews to do the work until the stars warming up again. Yeah, you're talking about maybe working a little bit. And then heading back in the truck to warm up and then going back out in the United says delicate dance Jimmy look at safety. I no matter what. And so they need they need to stay safe. And and and you know, these are these are folks have done this before, but probably not in this type of of climate where it's colder here than it is you know, when you hear the term wind chill warning. We've heard it before, but it's actually pretty rare. I mean, it rarely happens last time it happened around here about five years ago. And you know in the last couple of decades, there's only been a handful of wind chill warning. So when when you hear the term wind chill warning that means, you know, look for thirty five to fifty five below zero with the wind chill, we expect to have a warm up here in southeast Wisconsin to Russell Lee minus fifteen by tomorrow night. So that's that's gonna be a lot warmer than that we expect according to our meteorologist here at forty five fifty degrees by Sunday. So if you think about that, that's that's almost a hundred degree temperature.

"Nine fifty and the exclusive AccuWeather forecast meteorologist Dave Bowers. It's a very unseasonably mild. December January starting off same way that it is. Yeah, the jet stream just to beating the path straight west to east across North America. So that's like holding a you know a damn back against the cold air coming down from northern Canada. So we've flooded much of the lower forty eight states with air masses that either came in from the Pacific or the Gulf of Mexico. So very balmy weather pattern actually crossed most of the nation. Right now. There are signs that that could change here in another week to ten days, but nothing in the short-term we dropped about thirty tonight under a clear sky. Tomorrow's repeat it today. Maybe not to a couple of degrees lower but still mid forties is way above normal. Lots of sunshine Sunday part. Sunny with a high about thirty nine the next system, which is still off the California coast gets here by late Sunday night and Monday, and it could be just cold enough at the onset that there could be a bit of sleet or freezing rain, and we'll have to watch for some icy spots here for the Monday morning commute. But ultimately it warms up into the mid forties. And it's just off and on rain during the day, Tuesday, mostly cloudy, just an afternoon, shower and a high forty five fifty degrees at Pontiac we have forty nine a metro airport with the sunshine in south west wind at eight this is Accu weather meteorologists Dave Bowers, Ondo WJ NewsRadio nine fifty. "Anthony. How's vancouver? Like a two minute review of inquiry Vancouver. Very nice city of beautiful. If you stay downtown downtown's like right on the water and then in the distance you can see mountains, which is really cool on the cool part called Stanley park right next to downtown L E park Stanley park. Yeah. Really nice park. Nightlife is pretty decent would recommend going to like asked town. Neil town. Granville, entertainment district is like for your like is like you're younger area, so cobblers. Yeah. Good food lots of fucking thirty percent Asian out there. So a lot of reasons. Ought to Asian food. A lot of good seafood steaks. Quick story. So it's legal smoke weed over there. State where it's not legal to smoke weed. So the most jarring thing was going to the airport upon departure seeing big signs. That's explicitly say don't fuck and bring weed it is illegal. You will get prosecuted full sent a law and seeing people smoking the last of their joints outside airport before walking into chicken. So that the tip to me is you want to go and get high for free just walk the airport and seavy gonna hit up people's dudes because they got to throw it away. Anyway. Yeah. Down the terminal and get lit for free. Great travel tip for me. Any? Good spit spot and Canadian dollar exchange rate is nice. It was like twenty twenty five percent richer over there nights. Did you see supergirl or the flash your black lightning or not? They live there apparently not see them for. I looked up at the sky in Vancouver Vancouver. We said. Vancouver's invalid. There was no chasing ice. Definitely walk in there. And it's jarring because the drinking age is nineteen and especially it's all these places. You're like, wow. Whoa. These girls are young. You got a fucking card the girl before you talk to her. I mean, they're legal over there. So it's not even like eating Carter. But it's just like this is kinda weird. Wow. Better place. I've always wanted to visit Vancouver. And it's not like. It's thirty percent Asian. So it's very diverse like lots of different languages Brown. No Indian people. Dr in Texas because there's no Uber. There's no Hoover over the only the only other thing was like there's not a ton of people there with that typical Canadian accent. I didn't notice it as much as just like American accent? Or is just like a mid west everything was just mixed because there's so many different cultures there. It sounds like a very international collective fucking city. A few of the whites. Would you go back? Anthony, I would go back in the summer. But it's not like I have any urge to go back anytime soon. So what's December? How cold was it? It was like forty five fifty degrees. The rain like when we got there it rained all day in a rain all day when we left in two days in between it didn't rain much. So that was nice. But it's still a very overcast Seattle. Right. That's like Oregon and Washington, gene and Seattle. It's the same thing. Yeah. Same other funny thing to me was every time I told someone else from Chicago. Yeah. They would go. So what are you? What are you doing here? Oh, and I'd be like they're like is it for work like bachelor party. I'm like, no. I'm just here. I'm just visiting. Why? In fact, I had one person go this. Why are you here? This is an extremely mediocre city. Everyone that leaves Hoover have a little fucking pride in your city tool. I would never question anyone that visit Chicago and be like, well why? Right. Well, yeah. I mean to New York come to New York. Would you wanna come to Chicago? No, no. It wasn't that. It was just. So they got gotta check it out. I think the the the running thing was like the weather like this is the wrong time to come. But why why not it'll people?.

"We'll ask Matt that Mark asked me what I guess you when you sign up for these things you got to give your time that you think you'll do I said one twenty like I can run one twenty. Oh, yeah. What do you think? Yeah. I think I don't know. The course out there in Phoenix. I know it's relatively flat. You can get under one twenty one seventeen mid so much of it as the temps. You know, the anytime it's pushing seventy eighty it's just really heat is a real factor for me. And that's that'll be a big factor in what was the temperature. Last year was last year was hot no Jewish person years ago. No wind forty five fifty degrees and the year before it was the humidity and heat was very high seventy eight eighty and we changed the course last year too. And last year we saw an increase of people that hit Boston qualifying times from the previous year, which was three percent of the field up to about eight percents, or there was a huge increase of speed on the course, but we don't know if it was course, or weather, how many of the people how many of the seventeen thousand what's the breakdown between the half and the full so in the seventeen thousand there's also some five cares, which is about two thousand and then we have about pass these people to know they start after you. And just because everybody's asked me this. The previous charity chasers. How much as they're starting to catch people how much weaving and or is it at that point is pretty fend out. You're gonna miles probably three through nine or ten. It's going to be pretty thick because you're going to be running through all the half marathoners. That's my point. Once you make the left on Guadeloupe. It'll fin out a little bit. Which is can I run straight? Oh, yeah. You can run straight. Okay. We're planning on having escort for you. And things like that little flag draw some attention to you. So here's here's an idea. We had because with all this gear. This. You can see all this. What you can see it. Nobody watching us can see. But all of this gear. So weakened stream live nice. So we were kicking around this idea that we stream it, and that we have a little counter. Right. And so every time, you know, so people are are followers are members or whatever can watch. And then little ticker, just like every person we pass might get a little complicated trying to figure out who's in the half. And who's in the full, I'm assuming the numbers are different colors or. Yeah. We could figure that out ordered the numbers yet. Do you have an ordered the numbers yet? Yeah. But you're going to be running up. I mean, if you'd have to be in front of them right to spot the number who matches right? So so we match and then our goal long term is to get other people to match to companies, let's talk about relations with high brew and the tequila company. It'd be cool if they stepped up and did a dollar to right. And but if not people can donate in any ranges of five ten twenty I think. Donated one hundred bucks this morning yesterday on giving Tuesday, we did ten dollars for everybody who signed up for the half marathon and marathon into the pool. So it's already starting to grow. Yes. Here's the stats. Right. Two thousand nine hundred marks the six year of Austin gives miles the goal is to resume million bucks. Austin gives miles as the official charity of the Austin marathon, raise more than two million bucks over six years the moody foundation, so they have agreed to match up to ten thousand bucks. Yeah. So Ross moody long-term, right and resume guy. Right. Loves the running scene and just such a generous family right for the last three years for all of our charities..

"So it because I believe that is a, you know, it's kind of a what do you call it like a? When you when you start something off on the right foot? You're really setting the tone for your trip. And for me if you want to set a great tone start off on the right foot, and for me that begins from the moment. Your foot touches the ground another great tip for those. That are in Europe. You can take the ferry from Theresa Spain into tanger-. It's a thirty minute ferry ride as beautiful as all get out inner crossing continents across Gibraltar. You can see the rock of Gibraltar in the distance from the coast of Spain. You can see the coast of Morocco, and they're right there. You know, they're almost kissing cousins Mets it but ended ended it is incredible to see just in the space of seven miles or about fourteen kilometers. How different the world's can be how much they change. And also at the same time kinda how similar they are as well. You know, these just get thrown into high definition, especially that first time he kinda make that that ferry crossing. So for me, that's kind of the best ways to come in. Morocco, you know, either by ferrying tanger- or flying into any airport that isn't cause of Lanka. So I think I think that's a good start for the trip. And then you were saying if you had two or four weeks, what would you do a lot of times people built their travels around certain activities? They like our experiences they wanna have. And I know there are some traditional tourist types experience of experiences that you can have in Morocco. What some of those are what some of those might are maybe are worth it and not worth it, those even even better tip. Sometimes is the things that hey, you've heard a lot about this. But it's and of course, that's all subjective. But. Hit send them one. Hey, you've heard a lot about cousin. Bog don't go there? Right. Okay. Yeah. There you go. Sometimes it's the things that people say not to do that kind of paint a clearer picture of what to do. Sometimes I guess that other thoughts have traveling to Morocco are a, you know, I think about the seasons. I would not go there in the summer. Yeah. Summertime. You know, if you stick to the coast that could be okay in terms of temperature. It's not too hot. But the coasts are flooded by all the tourists from Europe all the tourists from Morocco. You know, everybody kind of vacates the desert stop that really hot core of the country in the day fled to the coast. And so even if you stick to the coast where temperatures will be nice, you know, the hot sunny, warm, he can jump in the ocean. And all that. It's it's almost too crowded to make fun. I think particularly in some places that are typically a little bit more off to be passed a little bit less, less traveled. That's that's true except for probably August, maybe July. So when are the best months to travel then? Spreading and fall by far the best, you know, I if chosen between between the two I'd say probably springs the best time to go. Because then you get you know, turn them in the mountains. You got all these beautiful, flowering plants everywhere. And you start to see the green, you know, really really kinda take root the coast are still great for, you know, taking the whole little swim in the ocean. It'll be chilly, but it's still really nice out. And then in the desert your temperatures during the day are bearable, you know, they're up to forty five fifty degrees celsius there like one hundred ten one hundred twenties, but this more going to be like ninety degrees out or so which makes you know. So you can do a day in the desert Jerry comfortably..
