Crafting a Unique Amazon Listing for Your Product

"Really would. It comes down to is a few components when you go to sell amazon. I mean first of all before he even lost his all the pre work. you know. it's getting the best possible listing built. That's going to be different and differentiate from your competitors in a couple of different ways. The first thing. I'm gonna just keep on using the xbox controller battery as my case. Study here just. Because i don't know exactly what the product is and and don't need to know anymore i don't want to have everybody know exactly what you're looking at here so when you type in amazon. Xbox controller rechargeable battery. Let's say all the results that come up on that page have a certain look and feel that say to them as the first challenge always is like how do i make my main photo jump out. In a way that gets people to click my product versus all the other things that are out there and and you've already kind of disclosed that. You're already dealing with competitor's one of which is some of eighteen pounds the other. that's chinese knockoff. Crap that someone for. Let's say three. Maybe you fall somewhere in the middle but certainly you're the first step you have to do is get someone. The price is is a factor but the main listing photos by foreign away the number one component. Like how do you get people to click your listing over all the other results and this is something that they probably wanted to solve the problem pretty quickly. they're not going to necessarily click on a bunch of different ones like once. You have the battery you just you know it's kind of when the battery and get it over with and you're not going to look at twenty different listings before you go by the battery and so getting someone to click through to your listing. That image is super important. And you're restricted quite a bit on on what you can do. You know it's got to be on the white background you can't show person surly and in a bunch of other things to be at least btls compliant and it was a highly competitive niche. You're gonna wanna be tijuana compliant because your competitors are gonna report you otherwise get. You're listening photos taken down and put you in a bind for a few days until you get that fixed so what we've done. I mean we were lucky. We have a great design team in house. They look at this and they okay. Well can i rotate the product in a certain way or use a drop shadow. Turn away or use lading in a certain way to make products. Stick out a lot of times. We'll happen is that like everyone will copy bestseller they. They've all done. The john lewis got research and when they go copy the bestseller the best seller was their batteries like at a forty five degree angle up until the to the left and everyone else copies and does the same exact thing and so just doing something as simple as putting the batter inside. Maybe you're making it up until the right or whatever. It might be could help quite a

NASA's 'Hedgehog' Robots Hop, Tumble in Microgravity

"Comets asteroids and hedgehogs these spiky little robots are perfect. Fit for low gravity exploration. This is innovation now exploring comets. Asteroids and small moons can be a difficult task. So what kind of design could be used for exploration a joint team. From nasr's jet propulsion laboratory stanford university and mit believe that hedgehogs are the answer. Let's hear more from. Ben hoffman a graduate student at stanford university working on the project. We've done a lot of modeling with various different types of analytical numerical models. And we've learned a lot the hop angle is more a function of the shape of the rover. So with this type of impulsive. Breaking cubic shape provides a nice forty five degree hop on average. The team is experimenting with fly. Wheels and friction belts to create the momentum that allow the hedgehogs to hop or spin across the surface. We took this prototype down to houston and flew on the vomit comet for two hundred. And if you guys aren't familiar with that it provides about twenty second windows a relative weightlessness. So in each of these twenty seconds we were able to test maneuver so far. The prototypes funded through. Nasr's innovative advanced concepts program are just what the engineers order

NASA Rover Drops Ingenuity Helicopter Off on Mars

"Let's go back to mars and talk about this this test flight. That's coming up soon for ingenuity. The news i hear is that they have dropped the helicopter from the belly of the based perseverance and it is getting ready to be ramped up. Almost literally exactly. That's right a tweet. From nasa jet propulsion laboratory. Which are this was the weekend. I liked very much. It said mars helicopter touchdown confirmed. It's two hundred ninety three million miles or four hundred. Seventy million million kilometer journey aboard nasa perseverance and it with the final drop of four inches ten centimeters from the rovers belly to the surface of mars today next milestone survive the night. And that's because as of. I think it was saturday. The ingenuity helicopter has been now relying on. Its own power for the heaters that keep the electronics war because until then it was taking power from perseverance itself now tell its own and so it relies on the batteries the internal batteries and the solar panel which sits on top of the the two rotor blades. So hopefully that will keep going. Well the heater apparently keeps the inside. The about seventy degrees celsius forty five degrees fahrenheit because the temperature on mas drops to way way below zero it can be as low as minus ninety celsius about one hundred thirty minus hundred thirty fahrenheit. So look i think always going well. As far as i know. They've checked out the solar panels and we haven't heard anything to the

He lived as a as a very quiet and reserved person because of what he experienced he witnessed some horrible things firsthand and also realized that he was a part of it after the fact and so therefore ray was told by his handlers. That not to repeat anything that he had seen or heard or he would Join malcolm therefore for forty six years. Ray separated himself from the family and In fear that he will put us in danger out rey lived alone many years and he Finally in his final years when he realized that he was his cancer was a reoccurring. How to Start a Bonsai Garden

"Well i suppose there's limits but there's not much that can't be grown a bone inside trae when done carefully there are books it their classes on it So enjoy it. It's something to keep you to during the winter of any year and especially when we're so to speak trapped inside. I hope all of your being careful wearing masks. What your hands and all that good stuff. So let's let's just have some fun while we're doing now when i think Bone cy i think of like an evergreen type plant A pine or a spruce or something like that. So if i wanted to get started with bonsai what would you recommend. And how do you get started. Well mark let's go to those two seedlings i have run their deep deep in the debris of the beds. I knew they were there a year ago. Now they're they're this fall. When i cleaned up they are presently The juniper is i don't know maybe eight inches ten inches high Fairly narrow and upright like it's project and then the tax is lord knows which one Right now i can tell you. It's more of a horizontal grew. But i will dig those in the spring. Oh let's just say that being earliest probably march fifteen and then sometime hopefully before the middle of april while before they have gotten into really has it grew. Because i'm going to have to dig them. I'm gonna go out quite away sideways. And then we're way in to see where the roots are where their masked if there is a mass and then they will go right into the trays but they will have most of the soil that they started in shaking off off. Whatever i will then go to a very good mix of potting soil. Lots of lots of brigandage lots of water retention but not not sopping wet at any point in time. I will start them. I'm going to call it flat in the trade. I have several now old enough. That they're sitting above the edge of the trae by an inch and a half. They're starting to kind of look like a normal forest tree. In a very miniaturized way mine are not fussy. They're not sick. They would not be judged well in competition. They're just a lot of fun for me. So mark anything. Like that i have used The seedling of a privilege plant. I have used the ceiling will actually cutting that. I started of a A zillion now. Elliot's are a little tricky. I didn't have particularly good luck. This has been a while back. Haven't restarted that. But i have seen some magnificent zillions in bloom in bonsai trees. Pear trees maple trees. I tend when i'm looking for it myself. I tend to go for things that happen naturally. Small leaf and then by retarding its fertilizer and its water and so on. I can cause those leaves to be even smaller And then i have taken. What is this or rubber tree. Plant one of the indoor plants. And i have i think. Probably six or seven cuttings. That has now started to route. I'm looking for a proper trae. i'm gonna start a miniature forest of We'll see how that works out. So i may talk about it again along the course of this next year in terms of what kind of weapon having with the ceilings of this indoor plant which is a tropical They would have to come in before the temperature gets wet. Now let me tell you. I take mine outdoors in the summertime on a bench of the house. They get a full half a day. So they're in good shape and then they get shading the afternoon. So anyhow that being the sun factor. I leave them on the bench until the temperature in the fall. Hits forty five degrees on low night. Then they start coming in under the deck deck but under patio top and then into the house before that is the topic was come into the house and the others in on the ground in the compost bin. Half of it. I stack them usually flat on the ground. But a couple of my. I've kind of leaned in. And then i put about ten twelve inches of oak leaves over the top now scattered. I don't try to make out of it. All i wanna do is insulate them against fast freeze and thaw. And it's rare that i lose what in the wintertime so that's kind of the score and anybody can start them You will be digging taking either plants that are potted in a garden centre or whatever and there are many of those little ones that that you can start in the bone side trade. You just simply take them out of their pot. Usually wash off the soil of the roots. You could see what you're working with. Cut off the lowest ones work with the ones that are nearer the top of the soil in the container and then spread them out right on top of about a quarter of an inch of soil. Half an inch of soil in this container and then put some well now putting oil and then put some potting soil over them. Be sure very sure that the container drains They can be suffocated quickly with too much water. So big holes. For drainage i think screen over the top of that so they don't lose a lot of water and then i always put them on a tray indoors. They're they're bound to drop off excess water when i'm watering so always into a tray of their own For my furniture's safekeeping.

Edmond Pope Released from Russian Prison

"Eleven days. Before christmas edmond pope received an unexpected gift. Russian authorities announced that president vladimir putin had pardoned him and cleared him of all charges. Popat arrived in russia. Nine months earlier on business he'd been contacted by pennsylvania. State universities applied research laboratory to learn more about a new technology being developed in russia rocket propelled torpedoes given pope's background as an ex. Us naval intelligence officer. He knew russian officials would likely keep tabs on him. He expected as much so naturally when he purchased five technical reports from a russian professor at bowman state university in moscow named anatoly bobken. He took proper precautions. Both pope and babkin signed contracts acknowledging. The reports did not contain any classified information yet. On april third two thousand members of the russian federal security service arrested him and brought him to lefortovo prison for questioning. He stood accused of espionage. At first pope felt the arrest was a joke but his tune changed when authorities locked him in an eight by fifteen foot prison cell for days. Pope was interrogated around the clock. The russians believed he was a high level spy working for the cia to make him miserable. They kept his cell at a chilling forty five degrees fahrenheit. He experienced no physical abuse. But witness the corporeal torture of at least two fellow inmates and he was subjected to sleep deprivation and other forms of psychological warfare. Days turned two weeks which turned two months eventually. Pope was moved to a communal six bunks cell in the prison there. His cellmates chain smoked cigarettes eight. His limited provisions and on one occasion stole his medicine when it came time for a trial in december the proceedings were held behind closed doors pokes lawyer demanded an acquittal outlining to a judge. The reasons why pope had done nothing wrong and how the prosecution had failed to provide proper evidence but ultimately on december seventh the court convicted pope and sentenced him to twenty years in prison the maximum he could receive that time would be spent performing hard labor. Which is why. Pope was shocked to learn that the russian president had pardoned him almost immediately after the ruling he may have spent two hundred fifty three days in custody but he never served a day of his official sentence. Within hours of the announcement pope appeared before the press responding to a reporter's question about how it felt to be a free man again. He said i have mixed feelings. I'm glad but at the same time. I'm sad that i may have caused harm to the relations between our countries. Of course this diplomatic response was made before he and his wife sherry boarded a plane headed to an american hospital in germany. The media would have to get the full story later once. He confirmed that he wasn't about to die.

Because of Vaccines, Ultra-Cold Freezers Are the New Hot Buy

"In a sea of stress. Inducing headlines there is one seemingly perennial bright spot these days vaccine news the scientists researchers and doctors that have been working on a covid nineteen vaccine seemed to have made great strides toward finding effective inoculations to help protect us from the virus. Pfizer was the first to announce its vaccine in early november. The company said it showed more than ninety percent effectiveness but the vaccine also has an inconvenient distribution issue it has to be stored at minus seventy degrees celsius. That's colder than antarctica in winter. Maderna's vaccine announced later in the month had similar efficacy rate and similar storage needs. Both vaccines must be sold in special ultra cold freezers throughout their journey from manufacturing plant to where the vaccine will be administered. Those super cold freezers cheap. Their price tags may be as high as thirty thousand dollars but those frigid freezers are selling like hotcakes. Hospitals in government entities have been snapping them up to help distribute the vaccine to the masses even employers are getting on board. Automaker ford bought twelve ultra-cold freezers last month. In an effort to ensure its employees can get the vaccine tra- cold freezers. The challenge is that ima- a needs to be kept super cold. The company expects fourth-quarter earnings to grow about sixty percent over the same period last year driven by covid nineteen response but even with ultra low freezer manufacturers. Hard at work to meet demand. These vaccines have unveiled another weakness in the supply chain the cold chain. Most vaccines need to be kept at a specific temperature until they're administered. That's typically around thirty five to forty five degrees wired reports but the super low temperatures that the most promising covid nineteen vaccines require. Make it tough to distribute the vaccines widely in the highly developed north american economies. Let alone in places where equipment capacity isn't close to sufficient like parts of africa. Rural hospitals were operating at a loss as of april of this year and the pandemic has only made things worse that means that workers and residents in these areas may not have access to the vaccine. Why do practically all of us need our wisdom teeth removed?

"How's it possible that we all need our wisdom teeth removed. Well let me give a little background. I okay go for wisdom teeth or the third and last set of our four molars and the biggest ones that you get in your mouth at least that most people get in their mouth somewhere between five and thirty seven percent of people. Don't get all four and some don't have any at all but most folks do in. They usually start to come in between the ages of seventeen and twenty five which is why they are called wisdom teeth because they are older and wiser in theory than baby with emphasis on in theory. Exactly i have always wondered about that. Well i'm glad i could be so. Yeah it's pretty crazy that you're still growing teeth into your twenty s it really is and then. They often are removed shortly thereafter. But why well according to web. Md it seems that ninety percent of people have at least one wisdom tooth that's impacted. this means it can't come in like in the normal way because it stuck on the tooth next to it usually sort of a forty five degree angle ish and pushes into the side of that tooth and although the sound awful you probably won't even feel any pain but it can cause problems later on when the wisdom tooth weakens the root of the molar next to it from that constant pressure or when you get gum disease for it or more cavities or whatever so your dentist may want it out before it ever causes you any trouble so either. The tooth is growing weird. Or your mouth simply doesn't have enough room for it or both. Yeah but your dentist will be keeping an eye on this and will advise you on what to do. And by the way this is different than hyper donncha which is when you have too many teeth so an adult should have about thirty two teeth. If those thirty two don't all fit in your mouth you may have to have your wisdom teeth pulled but if you have more than thirty two adult teeth you have hyper donncha which basically just means you have extra teeth. We'll put some crazy extreme photos of this in our show notes. If you're interested no lord now everyone's going to go to show notes for that and not for the main topic of this podcast. I'm just saying you should go to our show notes for both reasons. That's all and because some of those photos are really wild. I've been down a rabbit hole all day. You know freddie. Mercury had hyper donncha. He did yes and his case was more typical. I think he had four extra teeth. But i've seen photos of people who have like an entire extra set of teeth but anyway back to our main questions. Let's get back on track. Can it be that. Ninety percent of us are flawed. In this way well. The answer is simple evolution. And by the way we're not going to try to jive evolution with christianity in this podcast. Although i'm sure that topic is covered elsewhere and some other podcast for our podcast. Let's just say that. Many scientists believe that overtime our jaws have moved to become smaller and more narrow in. This means that teeth at once fit easily into our gigantic freak mouth usually do not fit anymore we we used to need those molars to help to rough or hard items like nuts and roots and meats and leaves but now we use forks knives and spoons and eat softer food. So we really don't need those anymore in our mouths have just adjusted for that. Yes evolution but pretty cool and of course it makes total sense. I also read on health. Line dot com that the wisdom teeth were like replacement teeth in our distant ancestors to replace other molars which had likely decayed or come out by then. Y- scientists classify wisdom teeth as a vestigial organ or novum saying that right Which in that's v. e. s. t. I g. i. a. l. which basically means it something. Anatomical that no longer seems to have a function or a purpose in our bodies. Other examples are goosebumps The appendix The tailbone ear muscles tonsils nipples on a man hair on our body and the knicks membrane of your eye which is that pink thing in the inside corner. And i'm not sure if i'm pronouncing that right so the muscles are important for you honey since you can make your ears move though that's true. Well port hardy tricks anyway. That is also fascinating and probably worth an entirely separate podcasts. Because i never thought that we have a bunch of body parts that we no longer need. I wanna find out about goosebumps but go ahead and the appendix like so. Many people have to get that out right so anyway if ninety percent need their wisdom teeth removed. What's up with that other ten percent. Do they have big gigantic freak mouths like you mentioned well. People in that ten percent have healthy. Wisdom teeth fully erupted and that sounds awful but it just means that they've grown incompletely and our position correctly and are binding properly in could be clean as part of their normal daily hygiene which means they can get to them to clean them. So this is how the mayoclinic determines whether wisdom teeth might be allowed to stay in your mouth. Sometimes these molars can even grow in horizontally or partially emerged through the gums and this is ripe for bacteria so they'll be removed if that occurs. Remember when you were getting your wisdom teeth removed and afterwards the oral surgeon told us that you really didn't need to have it done because you had plenty of room in your big gigantic freak mouth. sounds familiar but i may have still been under the anesthesia at that point. Well evidently you one of those ten percent that have a big giant. I'm just enjoying saying big giant freak mouth right now you know. It's really painful for me to talk about teeth stuff though. No and i'm surprised you chose this topic. I guess i was just thinking of it academically without having to actually talk about dennis and teeth and look at pictures online. I'm actually feeling kind of squeamish right now. Okay let's move onto the list squeamish stuff then okay. The debate about removing wisdom. To yes please. Dennis are actually torn on whether all of the preemptive wisdom teeth removals are in fact necessary. Yes as good to be proactive. And yes you want them out. If they're going in in a way that will mess up your perfectly straight in wonderfully aligned post orthodontic treatment teeth especially if your parents have spent thousands on exactly in. Yes you would want them out if they're causing you any kind of trouble at all. But what if they're not what if you don't even know that they're they're maybe they're crooked maybe they're impacted but they're not affecting your bite they're not causing you. Pain not becoming havens for cavities. Should you get them out. We'll some dennis. And i think most in the us are in the camp of simply removing them always to avoid any potential future problems. And i understand that. That makes sense being very proactive in conservative others like the nih equivalent in the uk. However say that if they're ace symptomatic without any symptoms pain issues. Leave them be because there's no real evidence to suggest that they'll cause problems later. And therefore it's not worth the expense and the risks of the procedure and understand that too and that makes sense to so regardless of which camp your dentist is in here. She will monitor the growth of your wisdom teeth and how they affect your other teeth and your oral health in general ask a lot of questions do your own research and make a decision. That's best for you absolutely and if you do have to have your wisdom teeth. Extracted fear not. It's honestly not that big of a deal mark and i both had to have ours. Cut out 'cause they were impacted they put you to sleep. Or maybe you're wake but you certainly don't feel a remember anything when you wake up you eat soup and soft foods for a few days in your mind.

NASCAR submits plan to convert Auto Club Speedway into half-mile short track

"Auto club speedway they're going to demo the whole thing. Make it a Martinsville Slash Bristol. For lack of a better term, I guess yeah. Although fact checking they're not going to out the whole thing because it's crazy to me is the front stretch is still going to be the same all auto club front stretch with a little bit of banking on it and the back stretch I think their plan is to be pit road which thinking about it. Logistically would be like a super tight turn because the pit road and the front stretch are not that far away from each other but the rendering looks really interesting. It just looks like a really long Martinsville slash. Bristol? And it kind of looks like hot wheels track. You know what I mean when you have those slam ours and they have the long straightaways in the super. Bank corners out of like forty five degrees. Economy reminds me of that takes me back to my to my

Tips and Tricks: How to create a DIY teleprompter

"For our listeners. So stay tuned after the show for more. Hey this is Larry Becker and I'm filling in for the vacationing Jefferson Graham on talking tech on the author of the recently released book. Great on camera and today I've got some cool tips in insights for those of you. That need to deliver a message on camera. And what I want to talk to you about is teleprompter options today it yeah I've worked with traditional teleprompters and I've worked in a studio with a teleprompter operator great experience but most of us don't have that luxury. So these days what I use is an IPAD. So I wanNA tell you a little bit about some of the software options that you have and some of the hardware options and some twists on this that are a little bit different than you might expect I do teleprompter operator stuff different than most. People I know but it works great and it might even work great for you. I've been using the same piece of software since it came out the software that I like is called teleprompter plus and that's the plus sign in the number three. So teleprompter plus three is the APP that I use. I can't tell you how much it is because I bought it way back when and now when I go to the apple APP store, it just says oh Larry you already bought this do you want to download again but? It won't tell me the price. So I, don't know how much it is. It may be a free download within APP purchases I don't know but teleprompter plus three from a company called brain is what I use and the reason that I like it is it does everything you need to tell proper to do. You can make the size of the type bigger or smaller. You can make it scroll faster or slower. You can remote control it from a keyboard and you can do a lot of these things remote control. From keyboard like jump to the next paragraph or jumped to the previous paragraph, you have to put in points for that but is all really straightforward and very easy to do and run, and then if you actually have a real legit teleprompter hardware setup on your camera, like with that forty five degree angle see-through mirror glass. Then what you have to have is you have tabular teleprompter image flipped to mirror view and it can do that, and so I've done that over the years with this piece of software works just great. The next thing that you could use is a very popular application and I don't use this. But when it came out, I thought about it for a little while and then I ended up not getting it and it is called prompt smart pro prompt smart pro. Now, it used to be like twenty bucks I think now they're doing subscription and you gotta Pay Forty Bucks a year for it, and they have a whole lot of extras and features and cool stuff going on with it, and it can do everything that tell prompt plus three can do plus. It listens to you as you read the script and it advances the script based on you reading the script that's pro and a con all in one because if you go off script or if you screw up and you want to go back a little bit, you can't do that easily with this particular piece of software. Now, you can turn off where it listens to you and just use prompt smart pro with your remote Bluetooth Keyboard. So those are a couple different applications you can use them on the IPAD but make sure that you pay attention to how I use it. I do not have one of those expensive. Forty five degree angle mounted on the camera teleprompter setups. The reason that I don't have that I don't use that is because I discovered a longtime ago that if I five or six feet away seven feet away from the camera and the teleprompter is just below the Camera Lens and I'm reading from that teleprompter you can't tell I'm looking just below the Camera Lens. Now, if the cameras really close to me, you might be able to see that I'm looking right below the Lens but in the studio setup where I used to work in my home studio, the cameras always like five six. Seven feet away from me and with the camera that far away and the prompter, my ipad just below the camera, all I need to do is put my ipad on an Easel

tennis without crowds

"Thank you rose for introducing this edition of the tennis podcast. Catherine Matt and Myself David Law are here to answer your questions today. Because it's Thursday. We wanted a podcast. We've only answered about five or six in every other previous listener questions podcasts. So we've still got loads and loads to get through plus about another hundred and fifty came in with matches putting out single tweet. So how you doing both Matt? You're fine thank you. Yes busy waiting through those questions that has been completed and we are ready to get going ready ready to rock and we'll have to rock because one of them's about entrance. Music Castro in for us to come into call wait for that one nice boilers today. I'm all right. I've worn. Put a Cardigan over over my dressing and to try and disguise the facts that I am not dressed. But it's I'm I'm looking at myself in the in the camera and I'm realizing it's it's a flimsy disguise. Isn't it fooled me? It did it. Oh okay I needn't have mentioned anything. Twenty seconds ago it's coming to say look down and everything okay so little insight there folks stuff. We didn't do. We both thought Catherine had dressed up for the occasion. But apparently this is our earliest recorded lockdown. I think it is a bit early. Isn't it Crikey ten thirty in the morning folks that doesn't exist on Catherine's clock she's have to borrow on. I write questions. We are going to get cracking immediately. Matt's what have we got first game to Sherry be on instagram. Who Asks probably in response to our pod on Monday when we some this topic. How can we make tennis more enjoyable without an audience? Pool is a big ask is probably something we should be thinking about though. Isn't it rather than I mean you know? We settled on the last that we will have reservations about tennis behind closed doors about crowd. Whatever you WANNA call it But it's a very real prospect I've done a couple of interviews in in the in the last couple of days one with Sergio Bruguera with Michael China. Be Hearing bits of the move the over the coming weeks we. We touched on lots of topics but I asked them both how they felt about tennis behind closed doors and their opinions could not have been more polarized surgey yet. I'm absolutely all four. It just bring tennis back as soon as possible. No matter what you have to do just bring it back. He he's panicked. He said bring football back. Bring tennis back. I need to watch Selena as a matter of urgency needs tennis return and when he first onto the question he was. He was definitely talking from a spectator's perspective. And I said what about what about as a player would imagine playing French. Open final with with Nike Crowds. And still he said. I don't care I don't care to bring it back. I put the same question to Michael Chang. And he said the opposite he said Noah I I just can't visit it's it's it's It's to wizards comedy get get my head around it. So there is going to be a massive divide in the tennis community. If one the first actual tool level event gets gets announced that it's going ahead you know this is GonNa be little debate flying around so we're getting in the we getting in the. I wondered if I covered a champion's tour event in two thousand and eight in Istanbul in July. It was my first one flying so lame and Istanbul in July. It was about forty five degrees. I'm not sure why they decided. That was where it should be in the calendar but anyway it was to be outside for long periods watching sports so there was just nobody in the crowd nobody whatsoever so they pumped crowd noise in and it was. It's of course it was weird but maybe it helps a little bit. I do now is like what she they've been doing. The the Graham Norton show haven't they with him from his from his house with a little sort of mini studio setup and he still does his little comedy. Bits in between guests and what he's saying is funny and he's still the same guy he's still is charming and funny as ever hearing those jokes land without any crowd response is really really painful. It puts a completely different complexion on it. I'm of finding myself a company of I'm saying this because I've spent fifteen years talking about. How candle do is the only bad thing about. I'm Alan Partridge but it makes me sort of cry out for some canned laughter. Deny what is this? What is endemic doing to me? So this is going to be like sports office style. Isn't it great? Things Happen to utter silence. And that's going to be a bit jarring all. I think there's two things one think it'll be interesting to see whether we adjust as viewers. It is a different world. Let's assume it's a different world for a long time and we just have to. Kinda of get used to it and we can't do what we used to do anymore. John macular used to fly a Concorde to London every so often he can't do that anymore yes to go on a on another planet. That's the same unknown but there are certain things that Diane Struggle Israel but it is still only sports is not so. Maybe you knew of the game. That doesn't ECON. Flippantly say at a time when we will disgust and made hot felts given heartfelt accounts of whites not just sports come on e. Can't flippantly say I wonder whether we'll find something else within the sports other than just the sound the look. I don't know I'm just. I'm wondering whether whether I will watch the sport. In different ways other senses will become more. Attuned yeah possibly may or may fall out of love with it. That's also possible. I think ultimately the fact that it isn't just sport is actually the strongest argument to bring it back without fans because it's what players need for their livelihood so if they if if there's a way to get the tour back up and running and get the economics of it back up and running without fans that is going to be more important. I think than consideration of whether fans in the stadium will not if if we're going to be able to give these players chance to play with prize money and all that kind of thing then they need to take. That opportunity is going to be weird. But we're going to have to accept that. I think I think that's more. I think that's more important consideration than whether it's a bit weird or not for

DIY Girl Power: Must Have Started Power Tools

"One of the questions I get all the time is like what tools do I need when I'm first starting out? And I always recommend a drill a sander and then a miter saw because a miter saw is really really safe to use really easy to learn how to use but then once you kind of get more advanced or once you need to start like ripping down plywood or making bigger cuts and you don't quite want to make the jump to a table. Saw which can be really intimidating. Really dangerous if you're not using it right. A good like middle ground is to use a circular saw or skill saw and then you can cut plywood by putting it on top of a piece of insulation foam and then cutting it with a circular saw to keep it straight. There's also jigs like Craig makes a Jig that attaches you attach your to it and it helps you make like a perfectly straight cut but with or without that circular saws are really awesome in a really good intermediate tool so. I just wanted to talk about my favorite one so I recently bought Ryo. Ob's cordless circular saw. It's six and a half inches in its battery powered. So that's really nice. 'cause you don't have to worry about being mindful of where the court is and then obviously it just gives you a lot more flexibility and if you have a backup battery you don't really have to worry about power like not having enough but I really really liked this one. Because it's a little more compact than some of the larger saws it still can rotate and do like forty five degree angles. Which is really nice but I feel like it's a really good tool to learn to use because of its size. It's not something really heavy. You need a ton of arm strength to us so I totally totally recommend snagging this one. Plus it's not that expensive. It's only sixty nine dollars for just the tool. So if you've already started building like aerobics set with batteries. And all of that. You can just snag the tool at your collection and it's really diverse. So you can use it for Plywood ripping that down on foam or you could use it for other things here and there like cutting a two by four cutting other boards straight. So I absolutely recommend this. It's a really good for both intro. Beginner diy fires and more intermediate so in this episode. We get into a lot of power tools talking about saws so I just wanted to start off by giving you a practical tip for when you could buy if you really wanted to dive in you can order online for depot. Have it shipped to your doors? If you are staying at home and practicing social distancing. Maybe could snag yourself a new little toy and tackle some projects around the

It's, it's really actually lie consensus that most of this money is going to go into the state's rainy day fund, the governor is asking for, I think six hundred and fifty of the seven hundred and fifty million dollars to go into the rainy day fund Niger in the, the joint finance committee chairman on the Republican side, the same put it all in so okay, we're fighting about a million one hundred million seven hundred and fifty million. That's consensus governor is also saying and actually agree with them on this fifty six million and pay off debts. You save millions of dollars. Let's start doing some of that. That's what your household would do if you came into you pay off the credit card, I or the car payment. Right. So I it seems like a good thing talents been saying for weeks that. This budget is not going to be as rancorous as, as we thought, so maybe Colin wins the award. Yeah. Dishonestly makes the case a little bit easier. I think in the past, you know, you would do its Republicans immediately pay talking about a tax cut. But I think given the dynamics and Madison divided government. I think you are going to see some consensus, they're going to find some money for roads. They're gonna find some money for k twelve special education and they're gonna throw some money in the Reagan day, fun, and pay down some debt. You've been very optimistic about this from the beginning. We've we've talked about it in some format or for some form almost every week, but I still not that optimistic I know extra money gives you a little bit of less of tension in the room when they have these, these high level discussions. But there's still a vast difference between what governor Iverson thinks and what the, the heads of the settling the center is, it's really important to understand that dynamic. So I think a lot of people were surprised by governor issued this budget. That was extremely progressive had all these progressive priorities. They've got he was laying down a marker. Publican's took all that stuff out. And I been saying this for a while, the dynamics are different than you think this is not like negotiating between the assembly and the Senate. This is the legislature can do whatever they want to this budget and put it on his desk. And the only thing that is interesting as whether Tony givers is willing to veto, the whole thing or not, he has a very powerful line item veto. And I think he's more likely to take that path. But unless he wants to draw a line in the sand that says, I will veto this whole thing over Medicaid expansion, or gas tax or this thing it's not that interesting unless he does that we've seen differences over time Colin between Robin Voss his ideas for the future. And Scott FitzGerald ideas of how to bodies should cooperate or not cooperate. Is it likely that in this battle against I want wanna use that term in the discussion between the administration and Democrats that they will find more common ground than they've found? Previously. Yeah. I think the dynamics again of having a democrat and the governor's mansion kind of lessons, some of the differences between them puts them more on the same team recognize the half to work together, but the two bodies do fundamentally operate a little bit different. They have very different leadership styles. And at this point in time, the Senate is in many respects, more conservative than the assembly and so that creates some interesting dynamics, but I think some of these big ticket items they know that they're not going to get a lot done with the governor, would they democrat governor. So they're going to be looking to kind of hold the line and make progress, where they can take the winds where they can then where would you assess Iverson on the first four months of his administration? I think good. I think he's, he's put his nose down grinding out the hard stuff. I think this budget process bodes very well for him. I mean he was able to get his items out. Into the press and have his bully pulpit moment. But when it comes to the mechanics of how the state government is going to be funded and as a product of that. How filters down to the school districts municipalities, it's it looks great. I didn't have this in our show notes. But I want to throw it at you. There was a story this week about the additional security required for governor Mandela Barnes. No. He doesn't make the argument that he needs it. This is a state patrol decision. What do you make of the story? It's significant the ramping up from the previous. Lieutenant governor Rebecca Klay fish. It's significance. A I think it's a good thing. I would hate for something to happen for him to be a cost did not have a bodyguard there. Rebecca Klay fish did have this is well, but he he's a very vocal and prominent guy and I'm glad that he's protected. I mean, there's, there's a lot of quiet on this, which is probably a good thing. But just reading the tea leaves if suggests that there's direct threats on Lieutenant governor, I think that to some extent, it's kind of scary. I mean that always happens when elected officials I had him when I was mayor, that's just the reality of it. And people for whatever reason they go there. But we have a brand new Senate governor, I African American acquisition. It's somewhat stunning that we see this ramped up level security already necessary for months into the job. Yeah. I think I think it's a valid news story and deserves some scrutiny. But I think, you know, I'm, I'm willing to defer to slow enforcement profession. I think is best, you know, if it might be a different story, if, if there was evidence of barn, saying, I want security, twenty four seven anyway. And there was some sort of disagreement, but I don't see that playing out in the story. So I'm willing to kind of give it the benefit out. He is Colin Ross, the Wisconsin. It's a twofer long. Liberty also joined by local attorney, Dan Adams, defense attorney left versus right art after the break, we're not going to solve the abortion discussion in five minutes, but we're going to talk about what the Alabama decision, there's legislators they have.
