"How are they ever understaffed. How do you ever get there at like six in the morning. And there's three agents for nine hundred passengers and the line is way too long. Do you want the real answer agency you want. You want the real answer. I want the truth. The answer that those Those snowflakes don't want you to know it's hard to get people to go to work right now. Yeah a lot of programs in place. People have to really incentivize getting people out of just saying in their homes Because most jobs pay shitty wages yes so they're getting more or at least close enough just staying at home that they don't wanna deal with airports. Either they're miserable places we're miserable. They're miserable everybody's miserable there have to. They're to have to start paying more they get people out there. And that's what it's not a surprise at spirit airlines had to convince people to come into work. It's not fair point. I think to your point about tsa though. Tsa is a government agency that probably runs on extremely tight budget really and yeah they were cutting tsa. I mean but like when it's time there's a shitload of tsa agents there you know. Yeah i think it's a really inefficiently run government organization like a lot of government agencies. Probably are like i don't think they pro- they probably don't look at First of all. I also think travel during the pandemic came back really like weirdly and sporadically. So i could see why they weren't prepared for like the travel influx to happen the way it did but i just think it's probably not super well planned out and run and they probably have a lot of budget restrictions and they're cutting corners like a lot of other areas right now. You can get back to woodstock claims to tickets. Does he have him on hold. Did he book this yesterday. And he can cancel within twenty. Same-day change you can do same day change on delta. I know he flies delta. He probably booked both tickets and is trying to get to the first one. If he doesn't make it he can probably say he missed his flight. And they'll either re book him or he'll get some type of credit drive from the fort lauderdale airport to the miami airport and then i'll drive to miami for a three o'clock flight. He has plenty of time to make that one. I have a dumb question. Because it's i don't think that it's happening. Usually actually it happened to me one time on a connecting flight. But it wasn't my fault. If you just miss your flight they they just re book you like. There's no consequences financial if it's if it's their fault then yeah they'll just read book. What if it's your fault. Like i just booked a flight. I didn't get there on time. It depends interesting. I always thought the you're just you're out. I'd say you just need to get another flight now as i should know. Because usually they'll they're able to fly people on standby so they don't actually lose money. On people missing the flight most flights they ended up filling it. But it really depends on the airline in their policies and should be more consequences than than people would miss less flights here here. Yeah like most people miss flights though. 'cause like we were just talking about. Tsa like the airport is so like backed up. How many flights a day do you think are missed. By people over sleeping oversleeping total number of flights. I doubt yet if all the flights the united states of america in a day eleven thousand sixty four wow. That's a lot of people a lot of people the gas like. I don't even know how many flights there are in a day. Well you do track a lot of planning. Hopefully more you may. Have you ever take their offered to take them up on the traffic dot about it did what the thing is is that i'm always someone. Yeah if you're by yourself it's a lot. It's a lot easier to take that off. We got offer no way back from lake tahoe and for like was it like four hundred bucks offering us. Let's say i'm already. I'm already scheduled.

"I've got a couple of stories involving one that stillness roommates lottery ticket in another story about a kid who found a very rare penny, which is worth a fortune. It will floor a proud story as well about a woman who says she was going. Going to break into a police station in Boynton beach, by the way. And she messed up. I'll just leave it at that. And then a few other little tidbits that will do that before we wrap up the show. So we were just talking about. How did we get on a subject of just the Trumpster and all the everything that's going on with this this border wall and the lack of funding and then share the entertainer share getting into the act, and you know, what was she starts tweeting about seventeen hundred really everybody needs to pay attention. Got to pay attention. So she did she's twenty seven ended. Now, she's imploring them Zita ended. And then run mentioned something during the discussion about shared being it lines. She she wants it ended because she doesn't want to wait in line at the at the airport, which is flying from one to another flight to Los Angeles. You may be right about that. Because you got a situation now where TSA agents last week. Where calling in sick because they're not getting paid now Cording to the union. They're saying that workers are not just not just calling in sick. They're quitting. Wow. Spokesman for the union says workers are dealing with extreme financial hardships. And that some have already quick because they needed to make money to put food on the table for the kids and their families. This could potentially pose a massive security risk for American travelers. I don't know about that so much. I think we did. All right before the TSA was there. It seems like. How about you're going to bring in somebody's gonna bring in some scabs TSE scabs. Have you ever dealt with the TSA these people most of them are like sure, but I'm people when you say we're better before the people would probably point to one specific event, though, I understand that I understand that. But it just seems to me that they really just don't seem to add much to what's going on out there. They seem to be those who are more pains in the asses than anything else. Now. I'm just saying that I do have epithet for the fact that there are a lot there. I guess. A number of agents that are all right? But I I haven't dealt with many of them. Just to kind of bus- my chops a little bit wasn't anybody ever told you that? Maybe you know, if you have a problem with this person, you have a problem with this person. You have a problem with this person. Maybe they aren't the right. I totally agree with me in the line. I'd meet. I to stop doing that. I didn't do anything wrong. But anyway, the TSA employed by fifty thousand people and all of them are considered in central employees. But now, they're not getting paid. So the question is how many will be left once those who call in sick. And once those who quit are actually still there. I mean, how much longer do you work without getting a paycheck man, if you thought lines at the airport were bad before wait until there's only one agent checking your right? And it's it's like some Eighty-seven-year-old. Figured out the right, right? He's living off you're listening. Kelli. Kelli Kelli, do it for fun. Old security guards. Yeah, he's just doing it. For fun is need. The money's already living off his 4._0._1._K. What time we say? What time is your flight six thirty may have to go to a hotel. That's four hours away their pops telling you it's gonna take a while the weight from here is twenty four hours. Yeah. By the way at Fort Lauderdale airport. A hazardous materials team was called into the airport after five people aboard a an American Airlines flight became ill. And the flight took off from Philly around eleven o'clock landed at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood international airport crew members complained about an odor on board. Two pilots and three flight attendants asked to be taken to the hospital as a precaution. Wonder what that was like, none of the passengers were complaining with just the the flight attendant, maybe one of the pilots old school too, much Cologne. Yeah. That's a little bit too much of that Iraq.

"I'll be talking about those teachers going on strike in LA unified, all the latest. Plus, you'll get the opinion of someone who knows he was a teacher in the LA unified school district. Larry sand will be joining us. He's the president of the California teachers empowerment network see ten anyone get his perspective on what the teachers are demanding what the district can do. All this talk about how the district is lying about its finances, which I think is bogus. But well that's coming up in the next segment with another video, we want you to see which is also unbelievable. We'll talk about it coming up. A man was caught looking doorbell in Salinas, California for hours, literally. Because it said the camera that people now have this like the ring. Yeah. And I think this was ranked. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, he really makes out with it. Even turns his head the other way and starts French kissing it. I bad drugs out there. Bad drugs. There is something going on. I don't know this is Salinas, which is not that far in Carmel. I think the dead raccoon is worse than the guy. Lincoln the doorbell. I think so I think I would rather own the home with the doorbell then go into the McDonald's with the dead raccoon that was on the table. Yes. That's how you one hundred percent. I just I can't even just wanted to rank the order of offense craziness. Tonight at six o'clock, President Trump addresses the nation looks like all the networks aren't going to carry it. It is about the border border security. It is about the government standoff. It is about the wall the fence, whatever you wanna call. I guess the big news could be KFI, by the way. We'll carry the address because Debbie over there sensitive reform in its I'll say it now. And I'll say it again, probably. Have you ever told? Yeah. Does what she's told? That's right. I'm a good girl. The. To explain a good reason by the homeless man would bring the raccoons that did make sense didn't no not at all. Only you're off the looney scale in your little head. I saw a raccoon that was bleeding. I would look for some gloves really quickly. And I'd pick it up and try and get some hell you would not. You wouldn't bring it into here, by the way and injured animals likely to bite you you'd be an idiot raccoons have Rabi. Okay. Well, I'd like to think I would start off the new year by slipping down the hill phases. Elmont michigan. So the Trump the Trump thing at all I wanna hear is. That he's going to declare a state of emergency. And he's ordering the military to build the wall. That's what I wanna hear. Oh, you think he's going to announce that tonight? That's what I hope. Yeah. He could because there's an impasse here. And what he what he's gotta do is seize the power that that he may have because we talked yesterday that congress decades ago gave presidents extraordinary emergency powers all they have to do is declare the emergency right now. Whether it's applies specifically in this case, we'll find out, but you know, his his negotiating style is to always up the anti and always go on offense. He will not get this democrat house vote for a wall. It's not gonna happen to vote for any fun. I don't think it's gonna happen. So he may have to do what you're saying. Now, meanwhile, they put out statistics homeland security secretary Kirsten Nielsen. And of course, the world we live in. Now, they're all doubted administration insists there was never a bunch of articles doubting the numbers doubting Christian Nielsen the figures showed one hundred sixty one thousand family units crossed the border in fiscal two thousand eighteen which is a fifty percent increase from the year before sixty. Thousand unaccompanied children crossed the border last year. That was a twenty five percent increase and something we don't talk about as much here on the John and Ken show about the border. John is the drugs coming across. They are saying that there was a thirty eight percent increase in math from fiscal two thousand seventeen to fiscal eighteen I guess this is stuff that's confiscated while they hand wringers moan about all the people victimized by drugs opioids Nathen heroin and Fenton ill and all the rest. How do you do that? And not one very aggressive act of policy to stop the drugs from crossing the border. A huge percentage of the drugs is coming over from Mexico and Central America. Why wouldn't you wanna do everything to stop it? I don't get it. It is part of the open borders. That's not talked about as much because as focus on the people coming open border is for people come in here to get work, and it's also open borders for drugs and sex smuggling and child smuggling, and gangs and. Terrorists everything well through this in seventeen thousand adults in two thousand eighteen with existing criminal records were arrested at the border three thousand seven hundred and fifty five known or suspected terrorists were prevented from travelling to or entering the US six thousand gang members, including those from MS thirteen were also apprehended at the border numbers they release and we're in the age now where you can't get straight coverage from anybody. Right. So immediately all the left-wing media people commentators go into talking point mode. And now, it's amazing how they all have the same talking point at the same time today. I look at one of those aggregate websites, right? Where they have maybe twenty political news articles. And it's all the same headline. It's not a crisis. It's dotted emergency. It's not so bad El Segundo times had an editorial today saying exactly that that it's not such a big. So it's all about downplaying it. And so my question is. Let's take Trump's numbers. And if you think they're wrong. What are your numbers? You you can't just say, oh, well, those aren't the numbers. Okay. Then what are the numbers? How did you get them? These are government numbers. All right. And they're similar to Obama numbers as well. Well, if these are the numbers the question is to all these down players, and they're doing it because they want open borders, and they realized this is a real threat. Trump represents the first real threat to open borders that they've had in twenty years. No, that's right. So so to debate on their terms for a minute. It's like, okay, what's the acceptable amount? What's the acceptable about drugs? That comes over what's the acceptable amount of of MS thirteen gang members, the acceptable amount of child smugglers sex smugglers. What's what what what what is it? You're willing to tolerate here. How many people have to get killed by the bad guys who come over? And then how many just poor people? Do you want over California where twenty five percent, poverty, right? Where we got a third of the welfare cases in the country. So how how many more do you want? What's the limit? Is there a limit? Is there a number where you say, okay? You win. That's enough. We've got we've got too many poor people. We've got too many criminals, we got two minutes to which drugs too many. Too many gang members nobody ever challenges these people say, okay, what's your tolerance level is it infinite because they talk like it's infinite the number that really got torn into is this number. That's about four thousand known or suspected terrorists prevented from travelling to or entering the US. Now that includes airports, and that I believe also my former Obama administration official says that may include people who traveled here from banned countries who were grabbed that doesn't mean they were necessarily. He says it's unlikely they're all on a terrorist watchlist, and he did bring up a good point. He goes if they are in a terrorist. Watchlist what we do at the four thousand people where are they? Right. So there that's just a number that they throw out but ask yourself this question. What do you think is the biggest crisis right now at twenty five percent of the federal government shutdown or that we still have a porous open border, especially with the part that we told you with all the drugs coming in that to me is a bigger problem, and it should be. I don't know what average Americans are thinking about this standoff, but Trump is right. Something has to be done because we've had decades of just Jabber. Jess people flapping their jaws. And so here, you got one guy who's willing to say, let's put up a wall. And let's severely restrict the flow and don't give me the game. Or does it? Go to stop everybody. Yeah. It's not gonna stop everybody, but historically walls high walls, stop well. Over ninety percent of the traffic of any kind. Because it's just I just like I said I saw the Vatican wall. Nobody who's trying to climb that thing with pope is. Yeah, the pope is safe and the little boys on the inside still in day. They can't get out. You can't climb their way out. Oh, man. All right.
