Fox Corporation Feeling the Effects of No Tucker Carlson
"We've got some new info on Tucker Carlson. I know a lot of people really following this story and I will say that this is just bad news all around for Fox. I mean bad news. The network's lost some $800 million in market value since they fired Tucker and the ratings are in a tailspin. We understand the latest and by the way, Brian kilmeade hosting in place of Tucker, trying to hold down the fort in that time slot, and it's just not going good, they've lost about 50% of the audience, and the ratings are collapsing among this key demographic. Now, I don't want to get into the weeds about ratings and all that kind of stuff, but this is an important demographic because this is if you're an advertiser, you're looking to reach these viewers 25 years old to 54 years old. And they've pretty much collapsed. Third place, Fox News and that time slot third place. MSD and C beating Fox News. I mean, these are levels according to mediaite that Fox News has not seen since before, 9 11. That would have been in 2001, so this is really not good for the network. Brian kilmeade is out there defending Fox, you know, Steve Bannon. Has not been very kind to Fox News channel and kill mead was blasting Steve Bannon and pointed out that Bannon got fired from the Trump administration. Is Texas Poised to Challenge the Dollar? Paul Blair Explains
"Very important topic of something happening in Texas, friend of mine joins us to explain Paul Blair who's head of the liberty pastors network and a great man. Paul welcome to the program. Charlie, thank you for the time today. I really appreciate it. Paul, tell us about what's happening in Texas and how people can help. Well, Charlie, you're one of the few, in fact, you've been out there beating this drum for a while. You're well aware of a number of the threats that we currently face here in the United States from the Davos ground. And of course, one of those is the Central Bank digital currency. They're just so happens to be a couple of bills that are down currently in committee and Texas legislature that will one serve as a great inflation hedge to every American. In fact, everybody in the world, it'll be a way for the state of Texas to be able to generate a little bit of additional revenue, but maybe one of the most important things that we'll do is provide an alternative for what seems to be the intentional effort to destroy the dollar and guide us into a programmable digital currency. So Texas, according to article one section 9 of the constitution, states have the authority to coin gold and silver. Since Tinder or actually the dollar was supposed to be backed by gold and silver and was in the early 70s. But states can't just print dollars or create dollars, but they can coin actual gold and silver. So in 2015, the state of Texas brought all of its gold back from New York and built their own gold depository. Kind of like their own Fort Knox. And what these bills will do will create the ability for the Texas comptroller to basically add an ATM machine to the Texas goal depository. And every individual in the world can deposit part of their savings, part of their paycheck, whatever, and have it held in gold at the depository rather than in dollars at the bank. And this is legal tender, according to the constitution, state of Texas absolutely has every state has the right to do this.

Probe ordered after shots fired at errant Instacart driver

No one was injured in the Fort Lauderdale suburb it's the latest in these types of shootings across the U.S., 19 year old waldes Thomas told WTV J he was delivering groceries, for Instacart and questions why the homeowner didn't just call police instead of putting bullet holes in his car. What's Up With the Tom Brady Deal? Michele Tafoya Weighs In
"What's up with the Tom Brady deal this year? I mean, he takes two weeks off. I mean, everybody's saying that gisele told him he had to spend time with the kids. I mean, I mean, is this just Tom being Tom? Well, it depends on what which Tom we're talking about. Tom is an incredible competitor. But, you know, over the years, we would ask him, and we covered the Patriots a ton. And we have what we call production meetings. A couple of days before the game or the night before the game depending on if the team was home or on the road, we'd sit out Chris and I are producer director. We'd sit in a room with Bill Belichick for a while, and Tom Brady for a while, then, you know, maybe a defensive player for a while, and you get this opportunity to really ask your own questions to make your broadcast unique. And just about every year for the past 5 years, we'd say, so Tom, someone would say, what do you think? How much longer? And he always bring up his family and his wife, and you know, that his wife really wanted him to spend more time. I don't think that was any secret. It was out there, you know, look, he's 45 now. And she's been holding down the fort. Now, we can all accept that they've probably got a lot of help at home. But who knows? I mean, look, she's a very involved mom. I've seen it when she brings the kids to the Super Bowl. Having said that, this whole time you're saying, okay, so Tom, when are you going to wrap it up here when did we get it surprised me? It didn't surprise me that Tom retired. It shocked me that he went back. It shocked me because I thought once he made the decision, that was a done deal and there was no way he was going to turn his back on that decision. So I was really surprised that he decided to go back and my hunches, maybe his wife was too, and look, there are a lot of rumors out there fight that seems to be the consensus,

Document Leak Story Isn't Adding Up
"Okay, so now Washington Post Washington Post was dealing with this other young man that was on this platform. I guess he was going around giving information. Let me ask you this. What's the significance between this guy allegedly being at for Brett or at fort Bragg, which he was not but ultimately at the Massachusetts base? Does it matter? As far as the access he would have had not really because so at four rack is the joint special operations command. And so that has people from army air force navy there within that part of fort Bragg. So there are some air force people stationed there. And with what they did with his intelligence wing, he was in an intelligence part of the air force. And what they did, I've been told from my sources that he would have had that act that information would have been going through that base where he was, not necessarily that he should have been accessing it, but it would have been going through there. So for this, it doesn't matter whether he was at fort Bragg or he was on Cape Cod.

You Won't How Will the Left Use the Military Leak?
"I just don't think we're being told the whole story and obviously this is a big deal. I don't want to minimize that. This guy allegedly leaked this documentation the documents Jack to share did, but I just feel as though something is missing and I'll be Frank with those of you that are in the listening audience. I do not trust the federal government under Joseph Biden. Now, I don't want to conflate what Jack to share did with what I'm saying here. I do not trust this federal government under Joe Biden. So I look at things like this and I'm like, okay, there's got to be more to the story with Joe Biden, Merrick Garland so on at, et cetera, and then I start looking ahead, Jennifer, I've never done this before, and I'm like, okay, even if this guy is guilty, how are they going to use this story against us? How is the left going to use this? I've never been that way until Biden came in. But I want you to, I just want to go through this story if you will. You start out with this, obviously that was the big story. The arrest of the 21 year old, but the media seemed to get ahead of the it seemed to get ahead of the Department of Defense, which is, which is really, really odd, Jennifer. So when you break that down a little bit. Yeah, it's very odd. So there was two basic components to the piece that I wrote in. It took me about 9 hours yesterday to write it because things kept changing as I started to write. I was just writing about The Pentagon briefing and basically how we didn't learn anything throughout they basically said, oh, well, we made rules and he broke them. So it's not our bad. Like, we don't have to change anything. No, that's not really how this works. So originally, back a week ago, Reuters reported based on anonymous sources, of course, that this leak came from Russia or Russian sympathizers. So then you hear nothing for a few days, and then all of a sudden, Washington Post has this story Wednesday night that in an interview with someone else from that Discord forum saying that the guy who posted them was in his 20s was military guy, and of course they made him out like some wet dream of a maga supporter so that they could probably target that audience in the future. And so that the next morning they wake up and I sent to some of my colleagues, I said, I bet the guys attached to fort Bragg somehow just because I know the role that fort Bragg plays in our war, especially with all the special operations and I used to live near fort Bragg. So I knew a lot of the officers there. So kind of had that knowledge. So get up the next morning and sure enough, Wall Street journals reporting that the guy was attached to fort Bragg.

"Have these 5 religions that I'm going to talk about, which I think is really important. The first one I think is interesting, which is this new religion of tolerance. Now, tolerance is considered to be a value. I don't know why. And you might say, well, Charlie, that's really mean. I'd have no tolerance for a man who thinks he's a woman to compete in NCAA championships and win a national title. I have no tolerance of that. You can be compassionate, you can be loving, but isn't the most loving thing to have standards that the world needs to be ordered in harmony with the natural law. Instead, if you tolerate evil, you are complicit with evil. And we're seeing that they say, well, Charlie, you're not very tolerant of these trans athletes. I just call them what they are, right? These are men wearing woman face, masquerading as women trying to appropriate womanhood because they couldn't compete against other men and their cheaters. That's what this is. And if I have to see another one of these bumper stickers or signs, you know what I don't know, I saw them in highland park a lot. "The efforts led by george rogers clark to secure the western territories although his actions were not much of a priority to the leaders of the revolution at the time his efforts helped to secure the northwest territory. What we today call the mid west to become part of the united states at the end of the war. If the british had held that area it very likely could have become part of canada and led to a very different historical outcome of the loser. Today's contest was british. Lieutenant governor henry hamilton. As i mentioned the main show he was taken prisoner and sent to williamsburg virginians deeply despised hamilton for his instigation of the native american warriors against virginia settlements. This was one of the issues that thomas jefferson wrote about in the declaration of independence in one of its most controversial lines. The quote is he has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers the merciless indian savages whose known rule of warfare is an undistinguished destruction of all ages sexes and conditions. Many critics today consider this passage to be racist because it refers to the indian warriors as savages. I don't want to get into the modern debate about that only reason. I'm bringing this line to. your attention. Is to note that. A whole lot of settlers of european descent at the time absolutely saw the native tribes that way at that time and they had many real world examples to substantiate that belief. And yes some americans revisited that same sort of savage cruelty on the native tribes as the victims. But of course when you're in the midst of a war it tend to focus on the enemies atrocities and excuse. Ignore your own. So my point is simply. Hamilton's policy of encouraging indian attacks on virginia settlements made him a particularly evil character. In the eyes of the virginians. Hamilton did not have a military rank..

"For elite season campaign that would inevitably continue into the winter as the british force moved south on the three hundred mile journey to they recruited even more native warriors along the way so they had roughly three hundred warriors for a total of about five hundred soldiers. By the time they reach vincennes. Many of the warriors who joined had signed loyalty owes to clark only a few weeks earlier when the british force reached vincennes in december. The local french canadian militia that had garrisoned fort sackville immediately abandoned their posts and submitted to the british force under hamilton captain. Leonard help whom clarke had left in command of the fort had no choice but to surrender and become a british prisoner of war once again. Vincent's changed hands without any bloodshed. Given the onset of winter hamilton remained in vincennes reaching out to local settlements and tribes to receive oaths of loyalty to the king. He did not engage in any major acts of retribution. For those who had signed loyalty owes to. Virginia he did not want violence to push the local population into backing. The americans. hamilton's goal was to use his presence as incentive to get the locals to change their minds back to supporting britain. He planned to wait until spring to take back cassia and return all the land north of the ohio river to his own control. Then britain could resume a tax on american settlements in kentucky at the time hamilton recaptured vincennes. Clark was in kostya making plans. For a spring and summer campaign for seventeen seventy nine the government in williamsburg was thrilled with his success..

"The hunters agreed to guide the regiment through the wilderness to cass caccia. The march took longer than expected when the guides got lost. The men carried four days worth of rations which ran out on about the sixth day of the march the hungry regiment reached cassia on july fourth. There they only encountered local french speaking population. The british lieutenant governor had abandoned the town and headed up north to fort detroit. Clark convinced the french locals to sign loyalty owes to virginia and took prisoner. Several who defiantly backed british rule is news that france had recently formed an alliance with the continental congress helped to encourage the locals to support the americans of course most locals were happy to support whichever side let them keep their property and generally left them alone. Clark also removed two soldiers from the town as soon as was secured leaving only a small garrison at the fort. He wanted to avoid any conflicts between his soldiers and the locals that might turn the local population against him. He also ensured the local priest. That virginia would not interfere with the practice of catholicism. This light touch approach seemed to work. Well the locals were very happy that their town was not looted and plundered by the enemy army and most settlers seemed happy to cooperate. Clark's forces next took vincennes and the british fort sackville again without much of a fight. The local militia who garrisoned the fort sworn oath to virginia and continued to garrison the fort under american officer and flying an american flag. No one put up. Any resistance as clark's men collected loyalty owes over much of july seventeen..

"In a few cases. The warriors brought back live prisoners. One of those prisoners was a man named daniel. Boone whom hamilton met in detroit. Hamilton had hoped to keep boone a prisoner there but the indians who captured him refuse to turn him over instead. They wanted to accept wound into their tribe. Later that year boone escaped and returned to kentucky although london had decided. This territory was part of quebec virginia. Still claimed that all of this land was part of virginia. Many of the settlers. That had been attacked. We're composed of virginians moving west into what became kentucky as well as lower indiana and illinois. The british backed indian raids on these western lands demanded a response. The man in charge of responding was george rogers clark. He was the older brother. Of william clark from the famous lewis and clark expedition clark was born in virginia near charlottesville in seventeen fifty two when he was still a toddler. His family moved further west into the virginia frontier This was a particularly dangerous time. When france was stirring up indians to attack british colonists during the french and indian war so george remained back east with his grandfather where he attended the same school as james madison clark however only attended school for a short time he learned a trade as a surveyor and by age. Nineteen was surveying western lands for virginia settlers. He also took a commission as a captain in the virginia militia. In seventeen seventy four. Captain clark led a company in the frontier. The british arrived lane mounted a respectable if hopeless defense for three days on the third day of the siege british cannibal. Hit the fort's powder magazine causing a massive explosion with that. The garrison surrendered suffering only four dead and seven wounded over the three day. Siege remaining garrison became prisoners. General provos left a small force to occupy for morris and continued on to savannah having captured fort. Morris general prevost arrived in savannah on january seventeenth and assumed command from colonel campbell. As i discussed a few weeks ago. Colonel campbell had already taken the city. So after taking care of for morris priebus had a very easy entry into savannah where he assumed command. Both provost and campbell received compliments from the americans for their relatively kind treatment of the civilian population. Several american leaders noted that because campbell had been treated so poorly when he had been a prisoner. They feared that he might exact revenge on american prisoners. He did not the area around fort. Morris became a prison camp for hundreds of captured prisoners and the british treated them rather well. The british also held back on wholesale looting or any retaliatory actions against the civilian population. They hoped to restore civilian rule quickly and allow courts to resolve any local disputes rather than the army in many ways this followed the policies. That general william how had implemented when he first took new york. The goal was to reestablish the king's peace and convinced locals that british rule was a good thing. Winning the hearts and minds of the civilian population was key to turning the colony back into a royal colony georgia. However it would still have a military governor. Augustine prevost did not want the job in fact just after he arrived in savannah wrote to general clinton to say that he wanted to retire from the army. Colonel campbell. It the new governor of georgia and general prevost brother colonel mark. Prevost he came. Lieutenant.

"Provos and with the assistance of loyalists under colonel. Thomas burnt foot brown. They lay devastation to the lightly. Populated region provos planned to take the village of midway with his regiments marching overland while another assault force sailed up river with another five hundred british regular sent militia continental colonel james white commanded about a hundred continentals and militia way. The target of the british assault he was joined. By newly commissioned bullish general james scriven who had a grand total of twenty militia soldiers with him general. Scrubbing tried to set up an ambush to hit the advancing loyalists under colonel brown before they could reach midway unfortunately the ambush site that scrubbing selected was already occupied by brown's loyalists so the loyalists ambushed the americans and killed several of them. Scrubbing was hit eleven times but survived to be taken prisoner. Although he died several days later the loss of general scrubbing command fell to colonel white. Who prepared for a final assault. He had commanded midway the british loyalists under colonel brown and supported by colonel provos and his regulars had a massive numerical advantage so in the end white had no choice but to withdraw however he left a forged note which ordered him to withdraw so that when the british advanced the american cavalry could hit them from behind colonel prios fouled the note although there was no american cavalry provost believe the note anyway and because of that note hesitated in his advance that combined with the fact that the regulars he had expected to arrive aboard ship were nowhere to be found. Proce ended the campaign and march back to saint augustine after priebus withdrew the british ships which had been delayed by unfavorable winds. Made it up. River to fort morris at sundry even without provosts army the fleet had over five hundred soldiers with maybe only a hundred and twenty americans defending the fort. The british commander. Colonel lewis disembarked. His soldiers and surrounded the fort. Louis sent a letter to white saying that. Multiple armies had the fort surrounded and that he should surrender white knew that the other army louis expected to find their under colonel prevost had already withdrawn and said as much in his reply. Even famously said that if the british one of the fort they could quote come and take it. Colonel lewis confirmed for himself that provost and his men were already gone. The purpose of his mission had been to support provos. He didn't really see any point in trying to take an entrenched position with cannons. If the rest of his army had already left so lewis put his men back aboard ship and sailed away now. All of that happened in november of seventeen seventy eight in late december. General provos marched a much larger force out of saint augustine with the ultimate goal of reaching savannah by the time is army reached for morris on january six. Th seventeen seventy nine previous knew that colonel campbell had already taken the city of savannah a week earlier. However more than two hundred americans and twenty four cannons still held for morris. This time the british did not back down and began a siege of the fort supported by over two thousand regulars loyalists and indians the commander of the fort major. Joseph lane had received orders to abandon the fort and withdraw after.

"Thank you for joining the american revolution this week. Episode to wait fort morris and augusta a few weeks ago. I covered the british capture of savannah. Georgia this was the first real effort by the british to do anything in the southern colonies. Since sir henry clinton failed to capture fort sullivan back in early. Seventeen seventy six even that earlier. Assault in charleston harbor was a sideshow to the main british effort. From seventeen seventy six through seventeen. Seventy eight to control the middle colonies particularly new york new jersey and pennsylvania with that whole effort in the middle colonies having come to a failure the british in seventeen seventy nine focused more on trying to restore control of the southern colonies with limited armies. That they still had available in america. The cap sure savannah at the end of seventeen. Seventy eight was the kickoff to that new southern campaign george washington had already issued orders recalling continent. General robert howe by the time the british attack savannah but at the time he was still in command during the battle because his replacement general benjamin lincoln had not yet arrived house loss at savannah in a route drew criticism from all sides. Georgia officials complained that how had not done enough to defend the state other continental generals criticize him for trying to defensive anna against superior force rather than simply withdrawing and not getting half of his army captured general. How at last relinquished command and traveled north. A new assignment. After a court martial acquitted the north carolina general leadership in the southern command. He would spend the next year at relatively unimportant commands in connecticut and in the hudson valley. The new southern commander general benjamin lincoln of massachusetts had just returned from the recovery of sustained in the saratoga campaign a year earlier despite sharing in the credit for the american victory at saratoga. Lincoln's record as a military commander was shall we say limited. He'd been a militia officer before the war ecorse. Virtually every man in new england served in the militia and most officers were selected for political providence rather than military ability. Lincoln had been a minor politician and from a good family which probably led to his commission as an officer in the militia. He saw no action during the french and indian war but still managed to rise to the rank of major. He held local office in massachusetts and became a prominent patriot leader serving in the provincial. Congress and the committee of safety before.

No, my my first time ever up to Rogers like in the past. I went to like story land in Santa's village when I was younger, but the first time at Rogers was okay, so Is 20. So is 2019. Fort Fist, Okay? I thought there was one year that you you wrote up here with Ian and I and we attended pork fast as well. But I don't remember that mean That was years ago. That was I don't recall. No, I do remember Ian was nice enough to give me a ride back before I got my government plastic permission slip to drive a motor vehicle, but no, I don't. I don't have the money to afford a ticket, even the early bird or, you know, whatever. I just, you know, if it's more than $5, I can't afford it. I won't afford it. I know that this is going to make the free state Project board very unhappy to hear. But I have never bought a ticket for the poor Occupying Freedom Festival because the first two years I was here I was vending with Muslims for liberty, who provided me a ticket because they were vending here in that provided him with an extra tickets. The year following Forked fest was importantly, preoccupied Freedom Festival was open, and I just didn't go down there to the events. Not even not even once. You know, it was just something that happened down there at the bottom of the hill. There's so much confusion now around this right? Because the Porcupine Freedom Festival seems to have it in their heads that they are Rogers campground during those dates. And that's simply not the case. I mean, it could be the case, but they have to buy out the entire campground and then basically sublet them out to attendees in order for that to be the case, and they didn't do that last year or this year. And they're really unhappy about that. But it wasn't It wasn't this year. Like their most successful year it was and they're still not happy. No, no, because of all the money they left on the table, right? That's why they've already doubled ticket prices for next year doubled ticket prices for next year. And that's why we're going to see a return to the vendors over here in Agora Valley, having to pay a premium rate for those spots, and what we've already seen this before. We know what's going to happen again. They're going to move that way. And that's going to be I forget what they called it The year that happened there. Does anyone remember? Where it's at. That's okay. Thank you. So we've all seen how this plays out before, and it's going to play out that same way again. But I'm just I'm just stunned by all we offer talk life has ever tried to do was have the Porcupine Freedom Festival be what it used to be free and open, you know? A good time for everyone, Not this not having pork Rangers running around searching people's vehicles and that kind of nonsense. Just a place for libertarians to hang out. And you know, the pre state project has always done a really good job of getting speakers and events to happen that people are interested in and that's wonderful. We love it and we support it. But they always have to pick a fight with free talk, live over something no matter how trivial or nonsensical it is. There's always something they want to fight with us about it. I just don't get it. It very much reminds me of the Libertarian Party's stance of like, No, we can't. We can't be associated with people with strong views. And I think that's us for the For the Porcupine Freedom Festival is they don't want to be associated with, you know, hardcore free speech advocates with people who believe in in right of association who, like Yeah, I will pay you for your service is not for the environment that crops up around those services. It's very curious. I mean, I've been accused of theft of services and that violations and the promotion of theft of services and and I'm just sitting here like man. Those are really strong terms to be throwing around here. They really are theft of services. What services because most of the bathrooms were closed during the Porcupine Freedom Festival..

"Pissed kuku mania some fears. Yeah because we are contemplating trying to figure out. Where do we fit new fire department stuff in the budget. It's hard to know if you don't have the pertinent information that you need and they're actually quite interesting reading those reports one hundred and forty one pages. Thirty four recommendations are listed in the executive summary. My favorites section of any sort of analysis the executive summary feel so fanciest an executive corner office. I've got a locked drawer of petty cash. That's what i feel like secretary one of the ones that stuck out to me. All the city of billing should lobby the montana building coats council to reinstate the in a international residential code the requirements for automatic fire sprinklers newly constructed single family residential structures and. They came up with a low ball number. It's like it's only twenty seven hundred bucks to put it in there. It's less than a granite countertop which is complete and utter bullshit when would that only be twenty seven hundred bucks in a fucking fantasy world during construction and you have to have de tested every year. I would think yeah. Yeah the materials for that right now for twenty seven hundred bucks me could god but there they get it because you know it's prevents a structure fire from spreading and yada yada yada. It's good but that is not like it's not an accurate number to put on it for sure. Every house should also have elevator in it down. Yeah well i do. But i time you get into it. Plays rush good thing. You don't have sprinklers and a lot of it was kind of prioritizing call. Prioritizing calls with am are as well it was Can be kind of onerous because the fire department has sent out on a lot of bmx calls. And they're kinda get stuck waiting there for them to show up and sorta take over so they can go onto another call and not have a giant ladder truck blocking traffic for hours for somebody who fell out of their jared denny's there is that so It really is the grasser fascinating there. It's kind of a neat thing to read. Honestly and they were. They were talking about not basing it on the successor. The gave response rate of your fire departments and base it on response times necessarily because if someone calls up and they're obviously in a medical emergency that's one thing but if someone calls up and says i've fallen out of my chair onto carpet. I think i find. But i can't really get up now necessarily rush. Yeah i could use a hand. I'm here years and take your take your got some water here. Yeah i found some raisins almonds on the floor remote control. The cats here strategically should be fine for a little bit. So i thought that was kind of interesting but it is interesting. They described the billings fire department as a highly skilled and progressive organization that is making exceptional progress in dealing with a very significant and growing workload the personnel with whom cps interacted with are truly interested in serving the city to the best of their abilities and demonstrated a unified goal of achieving. Once in service delivery. I can't really argue that it's very well. Where did i know a lot of fire. Dudes they're all pretty bad ass dude nice and contrary to what any cop would say. Because i'm not a cop cops. Firemen are not idiots. Dude dude i wrote up so during this meeting councilmember boy. It sounded like he was dying the entire time he didn't know how to mute his microphone on zoom and nobody in the it departments. Like maybe we should not listen to council member boy at hack into his microphone. Someone should go over there. And just sorta space bar on his little keyboards. Hear this sound every ten seconds because it was a hard five hours to get through. I'm not gonna lie. mikey governor. But he left early This was a work session so that created the situation where city council was basically evenly split. try to press pass motions at work session. Which is our favorite. I mean it's a nonbinding thing. It was just basically getting staff the direction that they need and they couldn't figure out exactly how to do that in that meeting without. What are the funnier. Moments was when mr zeller was trying to get some sort of direction on which way he should go and they tied vote. I think twice five to five in each one. He's like. This is exactly the direction i been looking for right here and then they all laughed. Like what the fuck are you laughing at exactly that you can go on to direct them towards like in the general area. Just just perfect thanks. Everybody yeah very helpful exactly so they came up with So it is budget season. This was the wrap up to the budget season as well. There is a resolution hoping to get approved on the twenty eighth of june of this month so a total for all the funds in the city budget. Total budget.

Yeah we will proclamations. Were this meeting was june. Is men's health month. Bush near and dear to our hearts number that last year when we also talked about this. I probably did probably probably about this time of year. Mr jawa mentioned that several committees mystery always ward. One representative turned out. This year mentioned several committees for which he serves and reminded council. There would be a vaccines and all of those in all of those council term expires ovaca. I can't read vacancies not vaccines now. Vaccines gotcha there we go. I'm winning life right now. and encourage them to consider a feeling these vacancies. He also shared various meeting and event dates for council and to the public to attend. Thanks thanks for the main ones on. Here was the water rates and jennifer. Do ray dropped a size information bomb on pretty much everybody. It was a lot but it was thorough. And my inclination. I heard it was. She's done her homework what she said. Yeah let's go. Yeah but no no no they. All the give read the emails to and from council the week prior to that and they're all like cumulus information on the. What's this compared to what someone would be paying in the And like she must have read all of those and he's like what with i don't know here's every here's everything you ask for Which is the modern miracle of water coming out of your tap and a city of one hundred thousand people or you can wash yourself coupon at once. There are down the drain. Appreciate it be pretty cool. That still happens and you probably pay more for it and it goes up every year with inflation. So what's the goddamn problem. Yeah what stocky said. But mr the front of the show longtime listener first-time caller jeff devas men zero time caller zero time caller. Having god he he gets a when i wrote down. I think he gets treated a little bit different than some people because I white is a white and rich. I don't know if he's rich but he's he's he's got some influence he's been involved with state politics. Local politics forever ran for mayor. Lost a miracle which was which is kind of a resounding dolpa dear political rear. I would think that point well. That's a blessing to the city. To wanna make my opinions known. This isn't an opinion but that guys a dick. He's got some problems. He owns no cash water which serves the blue creek area and people who've moved out of town but still want potable water that they can wash themselves drink. I'm guessing most of those. Don't people don't drink it out there. It's more showers washing dishes. And and pooping on your dumping it in a cistern. Mostly i just yeah so. A lot of people live on the outskirts of town drive into town to get municipal water that is treated in the city and then drive back outta town.

I've been thinking about this for a long time. And now finally. I decided to not to put the this Bland in practice so beginning this month in march I am flying solo. I left coca-cola the end of february. So i'm starting michael to shop to help sponsors rights holders and other other players in this partnership business to to work better to hopefully to sign contracts that help them do what they need to do in a different way. I was just reading your twitter feed. Who's always entertaining it when you scroll down there somewhere you've said our investment funds the new employer of choice for sports marketers. One that if you are answering your own your own tweet. Is that part of the game. Why it is it. Is i see a lot of movement. A lot of interesting things happening. Now in investments mostly american Investments going to invest in europe. Now and i think this is an area that i can. I can help. i can help. Investors figure out the value of the things they are planning to buy not the actual assets physical assets but the put the commercial potential for an investment in. A club is something that i can. I can help them to to assess. Hopefully that will make them Do better deals. Would you think he's happening there. Why sport as a sort of asset class has grown e consents the heat in the market and it is coming from the us mainly but it's always been there but there is a particular since the at the moment it's it's become institutionalized in a it was always wealthy people and you've always got people with money wanting to invest in sport but something else is going on here. I just wondered what you think it is. It's probably a combination of multiple factors richard. I think there is One side of it which is sports in the united states are expensive today named general investments in sports here The franchises are no very expensive. It's you know it's probably very late or very expensive to enter the nfl. The mlb Even the the the franchises are are at a price point which are not necessarily interesting for every sponsor at the same time. Now the interest for sport as you mention Has always been a very high.

If you wanna watch that game instead of just listen listening to it. You can check it out on thirteen ten. Kfi dot com. That will be the best way to get to it. And you'll be able to to see if you wanna watch the game clark. Johnson will be on the call. Tomorrow at six o'clock with the pre-game show six thirty on the tip off for that one So yesterday i've talked about it. I the the people who broke into the us capital Should all be in jail. And in fact i believe last check who was forty four Forty four people who have been arrested and Ford ed a bunch okay. Fifty two arrested now wanted to get us as of thirty eight minutes ago Fifty two or fifty two arrested four dead. Fbi seeking information on some of the. How moronic do they have to be first of all to do what they did. But then you get in there and just you start taking selby's on on the speaker of the house desks like you're carrying out podiums. Those are going to be used against you. So that's a bunch of morons the way that it is. I mentioned it. Our poll question are you okay. With how president. Trump responded to the situation yesterday so far. It's kind of been split. I tend to and say no no not really i'm not I feel that it should come out stronger and what he was saying. It shouldn't have been prerecorded thing. It was less of a less than presidential manner in which he addressed it his message when it came out i get where he was going with it. And don't blame him for that but Fell like there was a better course of action. That should have been taken and and and it's going to. It's going to impact him. It's going to impact his legacy. The thing that i'm i may have more issues with yesterday than how he addressed. The rioters is how he addressed vice president. Pence vice president pence has been by his side for the last four years and look president. Trump has a been hasn't received a fair shake from the media at all throughout his his tenure as president but vice president pence stood by aside. Then they did a lot of good in the last four years with the foreign trade with the economy in the states. They had what i would deem as a successful presidency lost the election but for president trump to go after vice president pence. I don't understand it then again. That tweet that went out there. Mike pence didn't have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our country and our constitution. Giving states chance to certify correct that set of facts not the fraudulent or incorrect or inaccurate ones which they were asked previously certify. Usa demands the truth. I'd never thought this day would come where i would be talking about this With with president trump is this is the man that i voted for twice. And i know that that's something you normally don't put out there but it is and i just disagree with what went down yesterday. And how he went about it especially with vice president pence so his message a little. I came around on that. I understood why he said what he said in that video. Wish it would have been live where she would ford but we are. We are fooling ourselves if we think that the only people that this falls on our is president trump and the republicans and this is not me pointing fingers back and forth but it's both parties and it's become the way that we talk to each other and the way that we converse and the way that we argue in the way that we debate. Because if you don't agree with me. I hate you and you are a communist agree with me all of a sudden you hate me and i'm a racist that's been dialogue and it's been an unhealthy one. When nancy pelosi tore up the state of the union address speech that did just as much damage. this is. You're you're just completely wrong if you believe that. This is just from one thing. This has been boiling. And it's hard to talk about. It's it's a sensitive topic but right now people out. There are justifying the actions of those riders yesterday because of what we saw over the summer with. The black lives matter. Riots and i get that it's it's completely. It's two separate things in terms of what they were. Rioting four i get that. So let's set that aside but when you look at just a riots and how it was condoned by the left when the black lives matter. Movement was writing when kenosha wisconsin was set on fire and set on fire because of what our court of law proved that the officer was acting in self defense. So wisconsin can get burnt down with little to no ramifications. Okay guess what. That's now the precedent. That's the president going forward. If you don't like something burn it down and they were leaders that that would not come out and say this has to stop. They would come out later on eventually and say okay. Yeah that that was not a good look but during that time they will not step out and say this is what's going on and so it was a. It's a bad look on everybody. It made our elected leaders. Look like they did not have any control the matter and in some ways they didn't. But where do we go from here. How does the dialogue change. How do we learn from this because already listening to Different members of congress speak. The left is already pointing the finger and say and this is this president. Trump's fault he should be thrown in jail that dialogue that rhetoric is not going to fix anything it's not as for the the the republicans and the conservatives. The election is over. There was not it. There would have been proof by now by any any one of these judges would have taken this case in gone with it if there is any any bit of.
