Actor Scott Baio Joins Dinesh to Talk About the Politics of Hollywood

"Scott welcome, we were talking a moment ago just before the podcast about California and about Florida. And you were saying how you're spending a little more time in Florida. Of course, Debbie and I are refugees from California now in Texas. Talk a little bit about the way in which, I mean, California is the most beautiful state in the nation in my opinion. Just because of the enormous just variety of the state from the north to the beaches and the south, but talk about the different mood in California as opposed to, as opposed to say Florida. Well, did I say I agree with you? California Southern California, in my opinion, is one of the once was one of the most beautiful parts in the world. In terms of everything, whether a beach is mountains, just stunning and in my, you know, I've been here a long time, and I've seen it devolve into just an absolute cesspool and it's unfortunate because I always get confused by people that vote the same way and expect a different result. But we spent a lot of time in Florida. My wife and my daughter and myself, we love it down there. And I know you're in Texas and I am we are kind of trying to get to Florida, what our daughter goes to a wonderful school and she has a ton of Friends, so it ain't easy. You know what I mean? There's a lot of moving parts and I have family here. And I've been here since 19 76. I mean, this is my home who came out of New York right from Brooklyn to here. But. The feel here and the feel in Florida, I was just in Naples and Fort Myers and the people in Florida just enjoy

Buckle up everybody here. We go. Charlie, what you've done is incredible here. Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus. I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk. Charlie Kirk's running The White House folks. I want to thank Charlie. He's an incredible guy, his spirit, his love of this country. He's done an amazing job. Building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created turning point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. That's why we are here. Brought to you by the loan experts I trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific mortgage at Andrew and Todd dot com. I want to lead with this one thing. I have a friend of mine who's a wonderful American from Dallas, whose in real estate, probably one of the top private owners of apartment buildings in the country. And he just said, hey, Charlie, I want you to see these rent inflation crazy numbers. I'm not going to say his name just to, you know, for obvious reasons. But so this is the last 30 movements, okay? So Phoenix, for example, for the last 30, the average prior rent used to be 1325 a month for his and he owns apartment buildings all over Phoenix. Now it's 1693 a month. That means that rent has gone up 27.8% on average in Phoenix. It is last 30 movements. Austin, 23%, San Antonio 21%. Dallas Fort Worth, 18%. North Carolina, 16% Houston 15%. The real inflation rate, I said this the other day, and someone laughed at me, but when they laugh at us, that's how you know we're probably right. I said the real inflation rate is 35%. I said it's right near there. For working people, that's about where it is. If you count gas, you count food, you can't travel. You count all that other stuff. So Andrew and I were talking in the break, he says, I don't know, I don't know, have we peaked too early, Andrew said of Republicans, are we going to be able to sustain this the November? I said, look at these rent numbers. You're trying to tell me people are going to keep the people in charge over this. I don't know, but someone who does know is Richard barris, from the people's pundit, and he's wearing a tie just to make me look bad. Big data polls, Richard barris, Richard. Welcome back to the program. Hey, thanks for having me back. I appreciate it. So a lot to unpack here. Let's start with kind of what happened in Ohio. What does that message send? What is your polling show? How big of a deal is what just happened in Ohio? You know, it's a big deal, Charlie, for the future of the party. The direction of the party, you know, the Trump endorsed candidates outside of JD Vance even did great. There was the first congressional district in Indiana. She won, so, you know, I mean, oh, and by the way, Ohio 9. So that was a race the media definitely was watching and trying to take out, you know, take down the Trump endorsed candidate. He did pull it off and he did incredible in an outside of Toledo, which is where a lot of people thought that Gaborone would do better. You know, so in the end, if you look at where van specifically got his support from, the reason I think a lot of these polls messed up outside of Vance's 100% correct. Outside of Remington, which was pulling for another campaign, they were just wrong. Some of the other public polls didn't really catch Vance's full support because when a pollster does a likely voter model, I suspected this was happening and it did. Those new Trump accounts, they're not really Republicans, Ohio has a lot of them. And they'll tell you, I'm going to vote. I'm likely to vote or I'm certain to vote. But then the pollster will go back and look at vote history and in a primary. If they're not a two out of four voter, meaning they voted in at least two and the last four primaries, they'll get screened out. And because these voters are newly Republican and close primary, they didn't have much vote history and you could see it all over. Mahoning, Youngstown, trumbull, the election day and wood in the northwest, just south of Toledo. That was Trump vote. That is Trump vote. And then Vance did excellent, obviously. In Cleveland, Hamilton county and the suburbs around it. So at the end of the day, it sent a very clear message. The president saw a very strong grip on the Republican Party without a doubt.

Toby Harnden Shares a Story From on the Ground in Afghanistan

"You mentioned this story, the prison uprising, Mike spann, a former marine CIA paramilitary. For those who know nothing, give us the story of that incredible event and what that man did. Yeah. It is incredible. And so November 25th, 2001. Two CIA officers walk into this fort called calla jangi, which means literally like fort of war outside mazar I Sharif. Now, backing up a little bit mazarin Sharif had fallen to northern alliance forces, aided by our allies. Our allies aided by the CIA green berets and air force combat controllers and the awesome might have U.S. air power overhead on November 10th. Now, less than a month earlier, Mike spann had been one of 8 CIA officers who landed in the Darius souf valley, aboard two Black Hawk helicopters that had flown in from Kashi Khan about K two, a former Soviet air base that Uzbekistan government had given over to the Americans for this post 9 11 mission. So October 17th, 2001, they land at dropped into the unknown. First Americans behind America. So we are barely barely a month out since 9 11. Yeah. First Americans behind them enemy lines. Now there had been a CIA team called jawbreaker that had landed in the pantry of Ali on September 26th, but that was, you know, relatively speaking safe territory controlled by the northern alliance. But this was enemy territory, Taliban controlled territory. So 8 of them, four of them were paramilitaries, one of those was Mike span. So when paramilitary is somebody who's been seconded, usually from the military and is working in the CIA using their skills for the CIA. Yeah, usually they actually in the CIA sometimes their contractors or people who've been seconded and on some of the other teams that were actually serving members of the Delta force and seals. But the four paramount trees on team alpha were serving CIOs special activities, division. Scott spellman, who was on the cover of the book, he was later became very senior, it was the senior CIA guy on the National Security Council during the Trump administration. He became station chief in Kabul, but then a young officer, but already battle hardened he had been wounded in the battle of Mogadishu in Somalia in 1993. It was a guy called Alex Hernandez, who was the deputy chief, who was a sergeant major, gone full career in special forces and then joined the agency and two case officers, JRC, who was the chief who'd worked with the CIA out of Islamabad in the 1980s against the Soviets for the supply and stinger missiles to the mujahideen and David Tyson who you mentioned at the beginning who was with Mike span on November 25th 2001. So they're in unfriendly territory. This is the Ford of war, walk us through that event. So David was a case officer based in Tashkent and spoke Uzbek almost fluently. And so he's the linguist and the main linguist on the team, although JR, seger also he spoke diary, which was the sort of lingua franca in Afghanistan. But on that day, the team split, there's a big fight, a hundred miles to the east. It expected in Kunduz so the bulk of American forces are there. But the night before 400 Al-Qaeda prisoners had arrived on the eastern edge of mazarin reef to surrender, and it was extremely murky why they were there. They should have been surrendering in Kunduz. And basically, I mean, what I was able to establish almost beyond doubt is that this was a Trojan horse operation. It was a deliberate trap. Yeah, it was a Taliban Al-Qaeda operation to put pretend that for these 400 fighters had surrendered, but in fact they were made up remained armed. They sort of exploited Afghan custom to keep their weapons with them and they were planning an uprising. Because you can have lots of people surrender at once if it's a regular army during the Gulf War, we had thousands of Iraqis surrender at once. When it's irregular fighters, you don't usually get hundreds of them surrendering at the same time. It's a little bit

The Phenomenon of Geo-Tracking With Dinesh D'Souza

"So let's talk about at least the trailer, I think we can unpack. Is that fair? Sure. And I want to be, I want to be careful because I want to make sure the real stuff comes out at the proper unveiling. But in the trailer, it shows a video of people putting ballots in to a ballot box. It shows it alludes to cell phone data points. What can you tell us about all this? What is new for the average listener right now? They're like, come on, now a year and a half later you're trying to say you found something that someone hadn't found before. Well, let's talk first a little bit about the phenomenon called geo tracking because the geo tracking is actually believe it or not. Better than the video. In the same way that if you're prosecuting a murder trial, fingerprint or DNA evidence is better than eyewitness evidence. Eyewitness evidence can be pretty good. But you can also have eyewitness evidence where people can argue about it. Or fabricated completely. In some cases, fabricated. Now, in our case, there's no such fabrication with the video for the simple reason that the video that we're showing in the movie and in the trailer is the official video from the states. So they have it. They have the identical same video. And so this is not a question where we got the video surreptitiously someone came and dropped it off at night. None of that. This is official video obtained through the proper channels through open records by true the vote, the research organization that dug up this data. And so the video evidence is very reliable, very good, but the geo tracking evidence really tells the bigger story. And I say that because the video is not available in all the states. A lot of states just ignored election rules and didn't have surveillance cameras, even though they said they would and they were supposed to have video cameras. They didn't do it. They just pleaded COVID. It just didn't get around to it. And so as a result, there's only some places where you see the bad guys breaking into Fort Knox. But the geo tracking evidence, I think, is going to be extremely eye opening. And it's fun for people to learn about because it's actually part of their everyday lives, whether they know it or not.

There's a Huge Update on This BioLab Story...

"So the story emerged a few weeks ago and there was a chronology to it Bio labs in Ukraine story starts to pop First of course like every good left this they said well anyone talking to access anything Compared to so once they say conspiracy theory I'm like oh my gosh something's definitely there Maybe a conspiracy but it's not a theory if the left says so So I'm like let me start looking into this So I do some homework turns out the stories in fact accurate that there are bio labs in Ukraine Then I'm told that if you dare ask the question about these bio labs potentially producing dangerous materials and even worse my gosh bioweapons if you ask that you will definitely be called a conspiracy theorist which said to me now's the time to double down and ask even more questions about this So the national pulse Natalie winners and Raheem kassam turns out they did a little digging about this Probably did the digging for the same reasons I do digging on stories because when the left freaks out again you can almost be guaranteed the story's true So first on one specific angle Jim queue up for me cut 6 I was wondering why the Biden administration first was so eager to make the story about bio the bio labs existence at all in Ukraine go away Forget the hunter angle for a second I'm going to get to that in a second That's obviously critical But I was like what's the problem Well it turns out Tucker Carlson did some digging too Spoke to some sources And as it turns out there are bio labs and bioweapons facilities around the world And one of the reasons your taxpayer dollars are funding some of it is because of this Jim play cut 6 Why exactly are we paying for bio labs in Ukraine of all places How long has this been going on And what's the purpose of it So he started poking around to find out We did We just spoke to someone who knows the answer to this question someone with direct firsthand knowledge of this topic It turns out that our government has for some time funded biolabs in Ukraine that do among other things research on yes biological weapons This is not a conspiracy theory It's true So why is the U.S. government doing this In Ukraine the answer because no one wants to do bioweapons research in this country It's too dangerous and it's too unpopular For decades the U.S. government worked on bioweapons at places like fort Dietrich and suburban Maryland or underground at the army's dugway proving ground outside Salt Lake City But after a series of accidents and controversies the government decided to move bioweapons research offshore Ukraine among other countries was a perfect place to relocate Because Ukraine is not a democracy the Ukrainian government can host all the bioweapons research at once There's nothing ordinary Ukrainians can do about

"I think it's a pretty easy decision actually. I spent 25 years on active duty in the U.S. Army. I jumped out of airplanes shot things in blue things up. I still do contract Ori occasionally. So like a little bit of a new mini, but anyways, there are several generals that I think have accurately predicted. What is going to happen? My prediction is that in about a week to ten days, two weeks at the most, the Russian army will literally collapse general Ben Hodges, has his keyed in on this. So his general catalog several others because I went down some of the matrix is some of the paperwork in the training that I received at fort Bragg and everyone of the key intelligence indicators tells me that the Russian army is literally on the verge of collapsing because every day that goes by, the Russian army gets weaker than being terror gets lower. Let me ask you something. You studied this and you know your stuff. Do you know how many troops? Do you know how many troops have died in Russia so far? The estimates? The U.S. intelligence estimates are placing an I think low.

Biden Says Texas Reps. 'Played Ball' and Could 'Bomb You'

"How about a president traveling to Fort Worth Texas? And looking at three congressmen, two Texas, Texas representatives rather, two black men and a white Republican, I guess. I think it's two black Democrats and one white Republican. Yuri is not drinking. Yuri evidently is stone cold sober. He's right when he told me that Biden actually said this. The three congressmen you have here two of them look like they can they really couldn't did play ball and the other one looks like a bomb you. Two of them looked like they could and did play ball because you know if you're a black guy you play ball. That's what black people do. They all play ball. That's what they do. And the white guy, what he does is he bomb you. He's a domestic terrorist because that's what they do. White Republicans are terrorists. The white guy looks like he bombed somebody and the black guys look like they played ball. He's actually said that. Close your eyes and picture chuck Todd slumping over in a dead faint if Donald Trump said anything like that.

"Got to spend some great quality time with my two members of my family over the weekend and the Dallas Fort Worth area. My son, Trevor, who was, you know, last August in a terrible automobile accident with tons of injuries, numerous broken bones, shattered legs, shattered arm, had to kind of learn how to walk again. And he is doing really well. He went to see the lyric stage production of ragtime Saturday night in downtown Dallas at the majestic theater, an absolute brilliant production. It was so strong, it's one of my favorite musicals anyway. Tells the story of America at the turn of the century and Harry Houdini and. Trash Day (MM #3987)

"The mason minute. With Kevin mason now normally for us, trash day is Mondays. So on Sunday Night we put out the garbage can. They're supposed to pick it up sometime Monday. It used to be 9 ten, 11 o'clock in the morning. Now sometimes two, three, 4 o'clock in the afternoon, or not even on trash day. We have a problem with trash collection here in Nashville. It's one of the companies that we've hired out. We don't have our own trash collection service here in Nashville. We subcontracted. Well, they're having a problem. Of course they're saying it's a labor problem. They don't have enough people to drive, but how many people do you encounter on a trash route? Or you need somebody to drive the truck and they don't even get out of the truck, they just have one of those mechanical arms that grab the trash bin and put it in the back of the truck. I know it's not that bad here. Like last week it was supposed to be picked up on Monday. And I think they finally showed up on Thursday or Friday. I don't remember which day it was. In Fort Wayne, I've got friends who live there and they're sometimes weeks in arrears from their trash collection. From what I understand it may actually be the same company, which is sort of regional sort of not good. They obviously have some problems. We'll see what happens tomorrow with trash collection. But I have a feeling we could be waiting a few days.

"For elite season campaign that would inevitably continue into the winter as the british force moved south on the three hundred mile journey to they recruited even more native warriors along the way so they had roughly three hundred warriors for a total of about five hundred soldiers. By the time they reach vincennes. Many of the warriors who joined had signed loyalty owes to clark only a few weeks earlier when the british force reached vincennes in december. The local french canadian militia that had garrisoned fort sackville immediately abandoned their posts and submitted to the british force under hamilton captain. Leonard help whom clarke had left in command of the fort had no choice but to surrender and become a british prisoner of war once again. Vincent's changed hands without any bloodshed. Given the onset of winter hamilton remained in vincennes reaching out to local settlements and tribes to receive oaths of loyalty to the king. He did not engage in any major acts of retribution. For those who had signed loyalty owes to. Virginia he did not want violence to push the local population into backing. The americans. hamilton's goal was to use his presence as incentive to get the locals to change their minds back to supporting britain. He planned to wait until spring to take back cassia and return all the land north of the ohio river to his own control. Then britain could resume a tax on american settlements in kentucky at the time hamilton recaptured vincennes. Clark was in kostya making plans. For a spring and summer campaign for seventeen seventy nine the government in williamsburg was thrilled with his success..

"The hunters agreed to guide the regiment through the wilderness to cass caccia. The march took longer than expected when the guides got lost. The men carried four days worth of rations which ran out on about the sixth day of the march the hungry regiment reached cassia on july fourth. There they only encountered local french speaking population. The british lieutenant governor had abandoned the town and headed up north to fort detroit. Clark convinced the french locals to sign loyalty owes to virginia and took prisoner. Several who defiantly backed british rule is news that france had recently formed an alliance with the continental congress helped to encourage the locals to support the americans of course most locals were happy to support whichever side let them keep their property and generally left them alone. Clark also removed two soldiers from the town as soon as was secured leaving only a small garrison at the fort. He wanted to avoid any conflicts between his soldiers and the locals that might turn the local population against him. He also ensured the local priest. That virginia would not interfere with the practice of catholicism. This light touch approach seemed to work. Well the locals were very happy that their town was not looted and plundered by the enemy army and most settlers seemed happy to cooperate. Clark's forces next took vincennes and the british fort sackville again without much of a fight. The local militia who garrisoned the fort sworn oath to virginia and continued to garrison the fort under american officer and flying an american flag. No one put up. Any resistance as clark's men collected loyalty owes over much of july seventeen..

"Thank you for joining the american revolution this week. Episode to wait fort morris and augusta a few weeks ago. I covered the british capture of savannah. Georgia this was the first real effort by the british to do anything in the southern colonies. Since sir henry clinton failed to capture fort sullivan back in early. Seventeen seventy six even that earlier. Assault in charleston harbor was a sideshow to the main british effort. From seventeen seventy six through seventeen. Seventy eight to control the middle colonies particularly new york new jersey and pennsylvania with that whole effort in the middle colonies having come to a failure the british in seventeen seventy nine focused more on trying to restore control of the southern colonies with limited armies. That they still had available in america. The cap sure savannah at the end of seventeen. Seventy eight was the kickoff to that new southern campaign george washington had already issued orders recalling continent. General robert howe by the time the british attack savannah but at the time he was still in command during the battle because his replacement general benjamin lincoln had not yet arrived house loss at savannah in a route drew criticism from all sides. Georgia officials complained that how had not done enough to defend the state other continental generals criticize him for trying to defensive anna against superior force rather than simply withdrawing and not getting half of his army captured general. How at last relinquished command and traveled north. A new assignment. After a court martial acquitted the north carolina general leadership in the southern command. He would spend the next year at relatively unimportant commands in connecticut and in the hudson valley. The new southern commander general benjamin lincoln of massachusetts had just returned from the recovery of sustained in the saratoga campaign a year earlier despite sharing in the credit for the american victory at saratoga. Lincoln's record as a military commander was shall we say limited. He'd been a militia officer before the war ecorse. Virtually every man in new england served in the militia and most officers were selected for political providence rather than military ability. Lincoln had been a minor politician and from a good family which probably led to his commission as an officer in the militia. He saw no action during the french and indian war but still managed to rise to the rank of major. He held local office in massachusetts and became a prominent patriot leader serving in the provincial. Congress and the committee of safety before.

Simpleton folks the std's are this is true moving onto a street which was the red light district for years and years. Yeah it's a great deal of resident. Yeah it's very nice but while they're worried about they're going to lose a lot of business and foot. Traffic wouldn't be as robust as it was on their current location which is a complete farce because the majority of the people who went to the drove to downtown. There's no and then dropped to on that street. It's frigging street to try to think of parking. God well roy head to get on google maps and he like lifted all of the buildings down there and he's like i don't see one that would support. It's not six thousand square feet. Nice to jeff espen to really extend that olive branch just threaten litigation just threaten litigation to make sure people know their place because jeff talking. He was given proper notice. Everybody was giving proper. Notice is given didn't give fox about what was about to happen. What's more curious. Is the whole idea of bulk. Water resellers in general. I guess it is weird. Yeah i mean he's kinda odd so it's your own station right right. Fill it up. And i i meant. I don't think the city is allowed to sell it like that the way it is. I forget what is going to venture out onto the thing. Just it's just weird that a dumb that service exists that you can so they buy it from the city and they just mark it up. Basically to maintain whatever properties sitting on or whatever reasonable profit they determine or deem enough to make that a viable business. I guess is the way said. Well i mean. I guess it makes sense. They his one of his stations. I guess is right out there by the blue basket on south billings boulevard. And it's it's i think it's just hooked up to city water so he just built a tap yeah basically and he runs a meter on that and they bill him and he adds whatever he wants to it. And you can help yourself. Beard is string. It's weird that you sell a product that you just buy from someone else who did. It's not the capitalism. It makes total sense really when you think about it. What i'm talking about the wouldn't city just built those. I don't know and i wished i want to explain and why the city just doesn't do it and to sell it. Here's this is what it costs and the whole deal is that users or i guess we'll just call it a meter because that's individual users have an individual meter the neptune. Yes there you go. People who use way more per meter are charged more and a tear him on a tiered system. and he's using the fucking most because he's reselling it to thousands of people. Yeah and he's pissed off that they're charging him more well. Yeah more or less. I i wish i could pay attention long enough to understand it completely but i can't for being about water it's very dry is very. It's very dry and not wet. Not wet not going to say it nasty. That's a nasty nasty So yeah he was given proper notice. You haven't seen anything in the emails pro. But which is all switched to pd s. Now there's no non flash stuff it's all everything's non flash now because gosh is dead dammit. Long live flash. Not the flashy is still very much alive is he. Yeah i haven't seen him in a while but you don't see him. He's really fast. In case you're wondering there's a note in here that the billings mustangs returning this week. And everyone is encouraged to go table. Game and support the team exclamation. Yes what if you don't give two shits about baseball. Have staying burger and Just hang out. Walk around all right. I mean crown. Royal royal de. What about what else about water. What a strange thing. Yeah where the city doesn't just have those stations. So i'm sure they explained it at some point but it just it's like with any other things staff explain it and jennifer did a bang up job of explaining exactly went into the weeds. I know a little bit inside baseball about it. But the fact that like they didn't disclose where it was where the where initially when it was presented. It didn't disclose where burger died is going to be moving to and fixing up. And that's a little oversight roy niece. No they don't have to all they don't have to know all they just don't have to know that just i want. Here's here's what. I want this loan for.

If you're a farmer raising cattle Horses something like that but if you live on the outskirts of town twenty miles out of town just because you're you're i don't know what you should probably pay for that that luxury of a fair and reasonable rate for for that luxury. Absolutely not a not a punitive rate gab. Not saying you should be punished or anything like that. It's just no no. You're you're privilege in being able to live out of town and being able to blow up your flatbed trailer. Put it up to your hundred thousand dollar truck driving into town. Fill up a water drought all the way back but feel like you're very independent living off the grid. Yeah it just. Seems kind of counterintuitive to me. I think gonna see it either. I probably did probably probably about this time of year. Mr jawa mentioned that several committees mystery always ward. One representative turned out. This year mentioned several committees for which he serves and reminded council. There would be a vaccines and all of those in all of those council term expires ovaca. I can't read vacancies not vaccines now. Vaccines gotcha there we go. I'm winning life right now. and encourage them to consider a feeling these vacancies. He also shared various meeting and event dates for council and to the public to attend. Thanks thanks for the main ones on. Here was the water rates and jennifer. Do ray dropped a size information bomb on pretty much everybody. It was a lot but it was thorough. And my inclination. I heard it was. She's done her homework what she said. Yeah let's go. Yeah but no no no they. All the give read the emails to and from council the week prior to that and they're all like cumulus information on the. What's this compared to what someone would be paying in the And like she must have read all of those and he's like what with i don't know here's every here's everything you ask for Which is the modern miracle of water coming out of your tap and a city of one hundred thousand people or you can wash yourself coupon at once. There are down the drain. Appreciate it be pretty cool. That still happens and you probably pay more for it and it goes up every year with inflation. So what's the goddamn problem. Yeah what stocky said. But mr the front of the show longtime listener first-time caller jeff devas men zero time caller zero time caller. Having god he he gets a when i wrote down. I think he gets treated a little bit different than some people because I white is a white and rich. I don't know if he's rich but he's he's he's got some influence he's been involved with state politics. Local politics forever ran for mayor. Lost a miracle which was which is kind of a resounding dolpa dear political rear. I would think that point well. That's a blessing to the city. To wanna make my opinions known. This isn't an opinion but that guys a dick. He's got some problems. He owns no cash water which serves the blue creek area and people who've moved out of town but still want potable water that they can wash themselves drink. I'm guessing most of those. Don't people don't drink it out there. It's more showers washing dishes. And and pooping on your dumping it in a cistern. Mostly i just yeah so. A lot of people live on the outskirts of town drive into town to get municipal water that is treated in the city and then drive back outta town.

"Bradley moore who died during a training exercise. I mean eight different. It's just this year and then you have six suicides this year. And i'm sorry you might say six is not very many but six is six too many to me and then there were two that died of illnesses. That just says quote illnesses. this year. there have been twenty six deaths so far this year. i had. I told you earlier that twenty eighteen for the entire year had twenty eight deaths. And we're not. We're like three yes. We're pretty close. We're getting there. And it's the years not over yet. The killings this year far exceed the homicides of other bases actually congress members of the house of representatives announced at one point that they would launch their own investigation into the quote alarming pattern of recent tragedies end quote at fort hood. That's one way to say it alarming pattern of recent tragedies. But i don't i don't know what their investigation actually entails. So at super unfortunate. But i was the most interested in the one whose body was found hanging after he'd been gone a couple days. And then vanessa. Oh yeah both of them. Actually were the ones that had the sexual assault allegations. And then they're dead and then allegedly one of them just one of the allegations disappeared and what. I'm wondering is if it's not like the same person or the same group of people like if you can connect if you can connect these people together in some way that would be the greatest thing. And i'm sure that those are i i would love to say. I'm sure that's what they're doing. But who's doing it. The police are coming into the military base. Know how does that fucking work you know. They have their own It's yeah i know. And i'm sure that there a points win either. The police want to investigate something and they're told while you can't 'cause we're taking over that investigation. I'm sure that happens a lot. Actually so you know if you're gonna get stationed at fort hood. Don't don't ask her transfer. I don't know if that's how it works in the military but don't ever really good arby's plugging run but anyway. That's that's all i have for you today. I hope that we've got to sink. Your teeth into some conspiracies there all my god. We made up like seventeen. I know i should put a conspiracy theory warning on this episode. Hail you guys at fort hood call suicide prevention hotline kamba. I'm a fucking sociopath hotline. Maybe call your mom everyone. I'll get a dog. "And stripes and like wardrobe allred had left the service in january fort hood officials said delacruz entered the army in november. Two thousand seventeen. God he's just got there. Yeah i mean yeah. That's what i'm yes. Half of these people had just got there so you start the fuck up the soon. That's what i'm saying. All this is just insane all right so the next. Spca christopher wayne sawyer twenty nine he was from washington and he was found dead march fifth at his home on the base army officials said foul play was not suspected in his death but that an investigation was being conducted. He entered the army in october of two thousand seventeen as a wheeled vehicle mechanic and had been assigned to the first armored brigade combat team. Now i didn't find any other information on like the manner of death for this. I don't know if it was gunshot. Or what but they suspect to somehow that it was a suicide but then again we know what they spec to suicides in there. Obviously a little funky. So i just want to know for what reason and then i wanna know like so. I am part of a group that a whole lot of veterans and soldiers active whatever they have our phone numbers and we we're regional so it's like they know you know where they're buddies or whatever nearby and we will go like female. I will go to females though with a drunken vet. You know what i mean. Who is having a hard time but it's almost like a suicide. Prevention hotline is like if you feel alone if you need a friend if you've got in a fight with someone now you're just at the house and you want to call you know what i mean. We'll talk to on the phone weekend. Texts we you know whatever you need to do you can facetime. I'll come over there and have a beer with you. I did that. We actually got to do it and she was like. I'm so sorry called one o'clock in the morning. We just got home. And i was like dude. I'm honored. I've been waiting for this yet swim. I'm here for yes exactly. I mean that's pretty cool as fricken me. But i just they they turn in. We share statistics all the time. About how important it is that. If you start seeing the darkness you know to holler at somebody. Yeah absolutely and i. I just wanna know if their stats are correct. They say like twenty two a day kill themselves you know and it's like well half for so you might want to look in the. Yeah yeah and. I don't know i mean the ones that we're here and i'll tell you later actually. How many suicides. There were this year At fort hood. But i don't know if it's just a toxic environment if it's just riddled with the good old boys type club. O gun yar nice on you know what i mean. I don't know even if these people did come out of there and we're willing to talk about it. They probably wouldn't live for very long. So i don't know i can't help but wonder about like ancient indian burial grounds or if they're above some sort of fuck a nuclear waste facility or something because oh shit i mean there's tons and tons of land shit tons of land. Yeah it's enormous and it's all like not s not inhabited it's like the desert which is probably i guess. What makes it so perfect for their base. I don't know i'm kind of on your side. Like what who cursed the land. But yeah i mean. I don't know so the next one. That i wanna talk about is spca shelby tyler. Jones who was twenty. She was found suffering from a gunshot wounds. Shortly after three m on march first at a convenience store in killeen police officers performed life saving measures but jones died at the scene therefore they were not life saving measures. I'm sorry. I just love the way that some articles word. These things attempts life saving measures. They attempted life saving measures but she died at the scene she did. They just don't seem to give a shit after their soldiers are dead used to it. There's friggin how many of them killed per year overseas. You know some killed them but that shouldn't matter that that should be something that you're trying to actively prevent and work towards like lowering those numbers but they just seem like they don't. They're not trying very hard and kaleen or hud. A jaded kaleen. Police officers said that jones had been shot at club. Dreams a strip club about a half a mile from the store. The case remains unsolved for some reason. Apparently there is a redacted copy of an investigative report floating around out there. The report shows a total of fifteen people. Either witnessed this killing or were were believed to be involved in this. Killing in this redacted copy a fifteen people possibly saw this person being killed and did nothing and sud nothing a bell county grand jury also declined to indict a suspect in june. The spokesperson for clean police department said the case had been exceptionally ms as quote exceptionally cleared in quote elements beyond the control of investigators have prevented the arrest and indictment of any suspects. Prosecutors also declined to tell stars stripes. Why the grand jury failed to indict. Jones had entered the army in may twenty seventeen.

"By the summer of Seventeen, seventy, seven, the native violence in the Ohio Valley was not seen as pervasive enough to justify an all out attack by the Patriots. At the time, only a small number of warriors were on the warpath. An all out. Assault on native lands might actually increase the level of hostility against frontier settlements as a result Congress called off the campaign. But left general hand at Fort Pitt with a smaller garrison, ready to respond as needed. At the same time, British agents were doing their best to motivate local tribes in the Ohio Valley to attack Patriot settlements. Agents visited tribal councils handed out muskets, scalping knives were paint and other necessities for a campaign and encouraged the warriors to attack. In Detroit. British Colonel John Hamilton no relation to Alexander Hamilton. Offered to pay for Patriots, Scalps if warriors returned with them as a result, he became known among the Indians as hair buyer. In some areas, native warriors took control of Frontier Regions, guaranteeing the safety of anyone who declared allegiance to the king. Others were told to leave within a week or be massacred. Many patriots fled the area as a result. Much of this happened in western New York and had been expected to be applied further south in the Ohio Valley. But after the defeat at Fort Stanwick. Most of the native leaders abandon the effort. Even, so local tribes, though Wyandotte Shawny Bingo and Delaware, did continue their attacks in the Ohio Valley. Settlers who remained typically remained in or near Fort that provided protection from smaller Indian raids. One such fort was Fort Henry. In what is today? Wheeling West Virginia. Colonists had built the fort in seventeen, seventy four during the violence with the natives that eventually became lord done Moore's war. See Episode One forty four. At the time. It was called Fort Finn Castle, which was one of the Royal Governor Lord Don Moore's titles, the viscount Fin Castle. After independence, patriots renamed the Fort After the new governor of Virginia Patrick Henry. It was a small wooden stockade meant to hold a few dozen people. It was bounded by a river on two sides as well as a ravine on the third side. Meaning it could only be attacked from the east general. Han sent out a warning in early August that there was a good chance of an Indian attack. Most of the locals took shelter in Fort, Henry, and local militia began patrolling for Indian warriors. After several weeks of fighting nothing, and with the harvest season upon them. Many locals began to return home. On September first, seventeen, seventy, seven, one local man, who we only know as Mr Boyd and his slave road out to ten their horses. They ran into an ambush near the fort where six warriors attacked them buoyed was shot dead, but his slave returned to the fort. Receiving word at the attack Captain Samuel Mason and his company of fourteen soldiers rode out from Ford Henry to track down the small group of Indian attackers. The company found the six warriors retreating into the fog and pursued them. Suddenly. The troop found itself surrounded by much larger Indian ambush. Into, which the smaller group had lured them, the Indians massacred and scout the militia with only two of them, managing to escape and run back to the Fort Pursued by warriors here in the sound of gunfire, another militia captain at the Fort Captain Joseph Ogle road out with another company to provide support to Captain Mason's returning company..
