"Sort of creating a product that is not like anything anybody else's truly experience before therefore a new category and therefore there's no demand and you're not really doing anything that remotely looks like traditional marketing. And so how do you think about sort of all of this stuff when you're creating something new and you're not doing any traditional marketing with it. I think most most new products. I think like things that changes to the school start like that. They have people know they need them. Or they're so good Many many examples of that in intech iphone is a big one probably. Everybody was really happy with the baggies and nokia phones and nobody imagined that you can touch screen and delano things so Electric cars is another those examples that people thought they would never want or they don't put would there's no need for that right But i think if you change the status school it does allow taints teaches people a lot of new things they haven't talked about. And so you might not get that like of people running to you. They one bite when they actually experienced it. What they end up doing is they actually go. Tell the friends. That okay. I i i really did this thing and this is why i love it and i wanted to be on it right. So that's always the best way to create demand right. You don't have you want to have the demand one. You can actually demand over the years that you build up and then you take us along with it right because a lot of things start like how the forsythe started what it is right. I was completely different right. So what are the years. It's a long process ride. You start with a simple thing and you figured out what your uses like. and why. why do they test. You know you and your act you keep building from there and you add things and you keep on giving them more and over the years you know you can do a lot more than and you can get a lot more users because now you have a lot of different things you end up fulfilling with product. Where does this view on the long term. Come from because we continuously hear about get big fast and.

"Football club insider before eight thirty news director John Forsythe joins us for commentary the ongoing trade war several economies struggling you combine that you get gas prices apparently going to be low for the next couple of months yet Charlie that's what the analysts are telling me were already below a dollar thirty for the average are two dollars and thirty cents for the average here in San Antonio that's the lowest we've seen in three or four months of this morning a West Texas intermediate which is the U. S. benchmark was down around fifty five dollars a barrel it's creeping upward this morning on futures largely due to the fact that there's talk about some talks in the trade does tear down there were having with China but compare that to a sixty five dollars a barrel that it was trading for just two months ago before the current fall and we see the impact that the global economy is more and more having on how much we're paying for gasoline here in San Antonio there are a lot of struggling economies around the world we're seeing trouble in Germany were saying trouble in Japan we're seeing obviously trouble in China and those struggling economies me in those areas are loose are using less oil and the United States suddenly being the largest producer of crude oil in the world that's a kind of a drawback to that is that we sell more and more crude oil around the world if people are by and they're not paying for our crude oil and the bottom line is that we're seeing more and more fractures here in Texas beginning to cap their wells and drop back on putting new wells into the ground we've already seen a decrease in oil and gas employment in Texas over the past month and that's likely to escalate as prices continue to fall there's talk that we will be seeing some motorists could see gasoline prices below two dollars a gallon by Christmas the cyclical trend of gasoline usually has prices falling through late January or early February at which point they begin to come up again so we've got a lot of downside to go and that's all due to supply and demand now the U. S. as more and more becoming what's called the swing producer and that is the country that that that's the real Saudi Arabia's had for decades and that's the country that has the ability to quickly wrap up and quickly ramp down oil production in order to keep prices steady and the downside of that for Texas rockers is that when the prices fall they begin to cap their wells because it isn't nearly as profitable to drill as it otherwise is added that pushes prices up and it will as prices go up those wells are producing again and the prices go down but they don't go up or go down nearly as much as they did fifteen years ago before the United States began being the muscular player on the block and everybody's talking about a recession one reason the lot of economists think we will not see a recession is because of that stability in the price of oil in the summer of two thousand date we just talked about West Texas intermediate selling for fifty five dollars a barrel in the summer of two thousand date it was a hundred and forty dollars a barrel and you think ten percent twenty percent tariffs are tough that is just money that is spent that can never be recouped its just sending it right to Saudi Arabia back in two thousand eight and that had a lot to do with leading us into with triggering the Great Recession of two thousand eight two thousand nine that situations not going to be happening again anytime in the foreseeable future which is very good news and that will definitely Charlie mitigate the chances of having a significant recession all right the economic downturn come anytime in the near future obviously the economy cyclical will will see a downturn but that is definitely going to be a cushion against anything significant as we saw back in two thousand eight but right now we're looking at continued falling gasoline prices right on through the holidays now probably when the production falls we're gonna begin seeing prices go up probably when that happens probably next winter next spring will see higher prices but right now.

"Trump administration. Proposal goes the other direction, the Trump administration would weaken what stores have. To offer a rule written in the Obama era required allergic variety of staple foods. But now the Trump administration would give stores much more flexibility. They allow stores to count concave dip can spray cheese and other processed cheese products as staple foods in addition dried meats, such as beef jerky would count. They've actually created a distinct for Riecke for drag meat, but very few families would serve up slim, Jim as the main course, in a meal, who dances snap benefits are intended to provide families with foods, they can prepare and cook at home, and she argues, it would be helpful if convenience stores did better so that a family when they come in here to use their snap benefits could do a real shop for foods that they can prepare into meals. "The shame here with these two is just that you can't roster their their their own team replacements. I mean, Logan Forsythe Austin enroll mine are just not they're not really going to get it done for you player raider over the past seven days, surprising, aim, sir. I want your thoughts if yes Jose altuve a hitting a Homer every day. I mean, I did not see that Austin meadows. We've talked about with our old raise fan who did the Leo shuffle. And let's see what I did there. You know what I did? I got it Rendong pro far Vogel Bach whose off to an amazing start. I had to decide between Vogel Bach and Christian Walker in the office league and went I'm going to finish last. What would you do there? We'll go Bach versus Walker rest of the season. I had a choice there in the vampire league. And I went with Vogel Bach, but I was latching onto the short term righty heavy schedule that the Mariners are facing. And we talked. We've talked a lot about the offense. It's better than you think it is my year in the office leagues. Seven fifty. It's not it's not just pursell. Oh, it's good. Kind of anger IX war concern is the whip is like one point eight, oh, how do you even do that? Well, childhood he could do that. He didn't even know. This is actually these in question over under most aren't over under two home runs this year. I did not see more than twenty the now. It looks clear. I didn't either he's got an amazing shot. Because I mean, this guy's twelve fifteen homers in the Bank and a bad year unless he misses substantial time to injury, obviously. So that gets into twenty. Yeah, I'm over. But he did not have a home run on a stolen base in the same game. These players did it's the combo meal. There's a whole lot of them starting with Thursday Leona Martine who I kind of liked the season Cleveland going to get Linda or back possibly this week, and he signed Carlos Gonzales, and he goes right into the number three spot. I mean, that's how bad the lineup is like he should be betting six any thoughts on cargo. I think people are interested. They haven't started adding him yet. But if he hits a home run today, they they will it's easy to say, he's not. In course, feeling any more. You're gonna stink. But that's not really fair because we know that being a course field player, you're not gonna hit as well and the road. But if you're not hitting it on course feel like cargo will not this year. That's different e might be a fifth outfit or fancy I think he could be a fifth outfielder fantasy. Yeah. Probably prefer to mix and match with them. I'd prefer the daily leagues have more control over each. And every game I'm gonna void all the ones against left. He started. If I can for example, and I'm going to exploit the favorable ballparks. I will probably try to avoid them in any other tough circumstance Tropicana feel for example. Yeah. You're right. That's right. Like Martina little out Phil Bowers Martine cargo it's better than the was March numbers. Now are actually pretty decent member. He had that bad first week. Yeah. No, he's he's a potential fifteen Homer. Fifteen steel guy. How many do that Cody Bellinger and Elvis unders on Friday, Sarah, Colton Wong and Brian Anderson of Miami. And then Bernie Anderson did it again on Sunday watching the chemo even notice to look at the last back to back combo meals. I'm sure it's happened trout. Probably I'm sure times last year, but get it for you, so Cesar Hernandez affiliate also had a home, run, and stolen base. I don't think the Phillies are gonna run very much this year. They ended the week two steals and on one of them gave capital was actually angry at Hernandez for stealing the base because it's the bad out of my friend goes hands..

"News record. Jim forsythe? Morning. Jim. Event. You did not know the unwritten rules if you're being pulled over by San Antonio police do not run in your automobile. And if the police do then eventually catch up with you don't draw down on them. You would think that would be a pretty simple rules to follow. But you never know. It isn't often that we have to go all the way to gain to cover a shooting by a San Antonio police officer. But that's the way it was overnight I've gotten several emails on this San Antonio police. Officers are Texas certified law enforcement officers if they are in hot pursuit, which they definitely were in this case they have the right to cross jurisdictional boundaries. They have to stay in the state of Texas, but they can cry. They could leave the city of San Antonio. They can go into another county in hot pursuit. Now that doesn't mean they can set up radar speed stops in Guadalupe county. But this is a completely different situation. This started on San Antonio southside when a violent crimes officers were looking for a violent theft suspect, and they noticed him driving a car that had been carjacked from its owner on Wednesday. They turned on their lights and sirens tried to pull him over. He was having none of it. He led them on a police chase which eventually. Got him on interstate ten heading east. He was pursued by several San Antonio police officers by DPS by the SAP eagle helicopter. He drove into Guadalupe county almost entirely to sixteen where God Lupe county deputies joined the chase. What of those deputies through down spike strips? He managed to avoid them, the de Guadalupe county deputy through down a second a bunch of spike strips this time, the it's stopped the suspect he smashed into the side of the Guadalupe county sheriff's deputies cruiser, but it wasn't over yet. The fellow was ordered to get out of the car when he did that a police chief Bill McManus said he started reaching for a gun at at that point an SAP de violent crimes task force officer fired one shot it hit the Mark the individual shot in the chest. He was rushed to a hospital in Sigane where he was pronounced dead. Neither of the officers was injured not the San Antonio officer or the Guadalupe county. Deputy who's a cruiser the guy ran into obviously, the Guadalupe county district attorney's office says it happened outside San Antonio jurisdiction will be the one conducting the investigation but chief McManus says from where he stands all of the all of his officers acted properly. The officer who fired is on desk duty, which is standard procedure. While the investigation is underway. But it was a very very dangerous situation. Obviously, I ten between here and gain is very very heavily traveled roadway. We have an individual being pursued by police bike strips being thrown on the road. Fortunately, we had no other incidents. Only the fact that the suspect who is being pursued by police was shot by an SAP officer. All right, Jim. Thank you very much. News director, Jim foresights morning commentary. Jim is back again at eight ten. What was supposed to be a historic day today won't be details are next.

"Ten and eight ten commentary from news director, Jim Forsythe on a myriad of subjects. Actually, you don't need to say the word a or the letter A before married on myriad of subjects and it seven ten this morning. Jim was talking about a Texas. Senate finance committee has approved and recommended to the full Senate a measure that would give a five thousand dollar pay raise to every public schoolteacher in the state. Clay Roe Vison of the Texas federation of teachers used as an example referenced a high school classroom teacher with a master's degree ten years experience teaching whose pay is stuck in the low forty thousand dollar range. Jim also, by the way, Lieutenant governor, Dan, Patrick who's been pushing the Bill through the Senate praise. The committee vote. Starting pay for a teacher somewhere in the neighborhood forty thousand. Yes. Which isn't I guess not bad? Doug. But a master's degree in ten years later. You're still roughly where you started. I'd go for a little bit in in. I know that I'm going to have to pay for it along with the rest of the problem with I don't either none whatsoever. No, you've heard me say this numberous times. And I believe it. That's why I say it. I think firefighters. Law enforcement. Teachers and the military in no particular order should be the highest paid for professions in the United States of America. Amen. Definitely now that did prompt and Email Charlie Parker in iheartmedia dot com from Amy. It was pretty short and succinct. I wish I could get a five thousand dollar raise to three month vacation. Now, I don't know if she was taking issue with this particular proposal measurement or she was trying to be funny or something you don't know where she was going. But I can tell you how you can do that. You can be a teacher. Yes. Again, if this goes now GM says this is going to pass well in this year's legislative. I certainly hope so, but we don't never guarantee on anything. And it's technically not at three month vacation, and it's not a nine to five job either. Never done. Absolutely. Yes. Job is never done. Right. And in Cheri made the real good point nine to five. Yeah. That'd be that'd be I have, you know, I've got a dog in this fight or a couple of dogs in this fight. I have a lot of family members including one of my two daughters who are teachers go now, she's a coach. So she has teach biology. Or?.
