"John Aaron, teddy gellman as our producer, the top story we're following for you today. U.S. capitol police are trying to figure out why 29 year old Richard York the third of Delaware crashed his car into a barricade and apparently set it on fire before firing several gunshots into the air and then shooting and killing himself near the capitol early yesterday. At least say the car burst into flames as the man was getting out of it, and that he fired several shots into the air, a statement says as capitol police responded, the man shot himself. No one else was injured. And it does not appear that the man was targeting any members of Congress, who were presently out of town on recess. Linda kenyon, CBS News, Washington. Federal authorities are warning of an increase in threats to law enforcement officials following the FBI search of former president Trump's home in Florida. The threats are occurring primarily online and across multiple platforms, including social media sites, web forums, video sharing platforms and image boards according to the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, the warnings follow the FBI's authorized seizure of 11 sets of classified documents from the former president's home. The bulletin says the threats include placing a so called dirty bomb in front of FBI headquarters along with general calls for Civil War and armed rebellion. It's been a year since the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan following the U.S. troop withdrawal ordered by President Biden and there are still questions and criticism about how the withdrawal was handled. Republican members of the House foreign affairs committee are expected to release a report today about the drawdown, ranking member Mike McCall told CBS's face the nation, the Biden administration should have been paying attention to the facts on the ground at the time. "At the top stories we're following for you today. Members of both parties are requesting briefings from the Justice Department about what prompted the search of former president Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate. CBS News at least Preston reports that what they're investigating was not so clear in the release of the search warrant. The Justice Department is investigating Trump for potential criminal action. It found probable cause of impeding the investigation, as well as the removal of classified national security records and violation of parts of the espionage act. House Republicans are demanding that Department of Justice hand over the affidavit detailing the basis for their warrant. The affidavit in support of the warrant will give you the probable cause to try to understand what is going on here. That's Republican Michael McCall of the House foreign affairs committee. The U.S. is warning of potential further violence by former president Trump's supporters following the FBI search of his Florida home. Homeland Security reported Nicole Schengen has more. A new intelligence bulletin obtained by CBS News reveals that FBI and the Department of Homeland Security have observed discussion of proposed targets, tactics, and weaponry and online forums following the FBI search of former president Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate. The warning follows last week's standoff with law enforcement after gunmen Ricky schiffer attempted to breach the Cincinnati FBI field office. Later dying on the scene. Schiffer had posted on former president, the former president's truth social platform beforehand, his desire to kill federal agents shortly after the news broke of the FBI search. That post has since been removed. It's four 33. The U.S. capitol police chief says law enforcement needs to be as vigilant as ever in light of violent incidents like the gunfire that took place near the capital on Sunday. Law enforcement say 29 year old Richard a York the third of Delaware drove his car into a barricade outside the capitol, fired a couple of rounds into the air and then took his own life. WTO's Mitchell Miller is on Capitol Hill. I think like law enforcement nationwide, we are on a higher alert. Capitol police chief Tom manger, who says changes in how his department operates help provide a quick response to the barricade crash and gunfire that occurred early Sunday morning, and his department is working closely with a wide range of law enforcement agencies, including the FBI to make sure it's ready for any potential threats. I was diagnosed with MS almost 17 years ago at the age of 17. This diagnosis was life-changing, and at the time I had no idea what my future would hold, but thanks to the support and resources provided by the national MS society I have felt equipped with knowledge and tools to really feel confident to know that MS doesn't have to stop me from continuing to live life to the fullest. I've learned over the years that though MS looks different in each person, it doesn't define us. We may have to adjust what our new normal is and do things a little differently, but that's what makes us stronger than MS. I'm passionate about raising awareness and funds for the MS society to help support the nearly 1 million people in the U.S. that live with MS. What Republicans Are Planning if They Win the House Majority

"What are Republicans going to run on? And more importantly, what are they going to do if they take back the House of Representatives? Will a newly released article from Washington examiner goes through that? What Republicans are planning to do if they win back the House majority? And we're going to go piece by piece of what they are promising their voters. And it's about time that we hold our elected officials accountable because if you're like me, you're probably exhausted and tired and cynical that Republicans keep on winning elections. And we lose the country. The parents party, the Republican Party, plans, and promises that if they take back the House of Representatives similar to the contract with America, now why Republicans do not replicate the contract with America every election cycle is beyond me, but Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans, including Jim Jordan and some phenomenal base conservatives, have said they are going to replicate the Newt Gingrich contract with America. They're going to call it commitment to America. It's not that great. I don't love that. It should be a lot more aggressive than a commitment. It should be applied, or it should be something that is unbreakable an oath, commitment sounds like something that's some shady business guy will break. Okay. Number one, here's what Republicans plan to do. I like some of this. I think this is some grassroots driven energy. Some of it's all right, but some of it is phenomenal. Pass a parent's Bill of rights, Republicans in November released draft legislation that aimed to require school districts to post curriculum publicly, require teachers to offer two in person meetings per year, prevent schools from selling or sharing student data without parent permission and require students to notify parents of violent activity on school grounds. It's really basic stuff. McCarthy said on a recent episode. Next one, China, COVID-19 accountability measures, a plan released by House Republicans trying to task force last year called for legislation to declassify information on the origins of COVID-19, prohibiting the U.S. funding from gain of function research. So here's where I think they're taking a good approach. They need to use their newfound political power for aggressive oversight. That's actually the next point. Take an aggressive oversight posture. In the minority Republicans on committees can do not have the power to compel witnesses to speak under oath, and the majority Republicans aim to use that power liberally. Particularly if they do not have a supermajority to overcome filibuster in the Senate or override any vetoes from President Biden. Republicans want to investigate the following. How we had the U.S. troops withdraw from Afghanistan and giving them $85 billion in weapons. The origins of where COVID came from, the national school board association's relationship with the Department of Justice and asked if federal agencies threatened to stop threats of violence. Also, what's happening on the U.S. Mexico border? Republicans have already issued preservation notices and document requests to relevant agencies and individuals related to these items. They're going to eliminate House rules implemented by Pelosi, kind of technical stuff like masked men not being able to vote by proxy and vote remotely. Take on big tech. They're going to put forward a framework to take on big tech calls to reform section two 30, prevent the companies from discriminating based on political affiliation, an increase their transparency. Also, back a antitrust bill that would give states attorneys attorney generals more control over where antitrust litigation is conducted, and then strip House Democrats from certain committees, in retaliation for Democrats removing Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul gosar, House Republicans plan to strip Elon Omar, saying that she should not be on the foreign affairs committee, and Adam Schiff should not be on the intelligence committee, which he's currently the chairman. Nor should Eric swalwell be on the intelligence committee or the Homeland Security committee. This is actually okay. Would you agree Connor? This is actually some pretty good

Miranda Devine: The Media Is Still Avoiding the Real Hunter Biden Story

"This has been going on since the beginning of Joe Biden's career really I mean he's the center of the Delaware He won the election when he was 29 years old And from then on because Delaware is this unique state in America where so many corporations are headquartered there because of its tax laws but mainly the opacity of its corporations law He had really a lot of power in the corporate world and he was also very powerful positions on both the legislative affairs committee and the foreign affairs committee And he was faced by these corporations and these donors gave him lots of money and also other things such as grace and favor jobs for family members especially hunter And so Hunter Biden was given inflated salaries and from that money very early on straight out of college he was expected to pay bills for the rest of the family And so there were stories along the way and even The New York Times have stories I mean Byron York did some brilliant work which I thought in the book on Joe Biden sort of real estate purchases which were very dodgy back in the day MBNA which is a credit card company in Delaware board a house from him a lot higher than comparable houses nearby An executive of theirs And so there was there was quite a bit of reporting done not enough in my view But I think that influence peddling is a Washington disease

We watch Omar and tallied and others. These are Radical individuals. Will you tell us? What What did you How do you make this out? Well, you know, I have to tell you as much as every tweet that she does revealed her ideology. It's not just about the one tweet. It's her worldview. It's incompatible with Americanism. She is at her core anti American. So now we're seeing all of the uproar appropriately about this tweet, where she equated are American troops in Israel with the Taliban, Hamas and these other terror groups. Sen. Chris Coons believes John McCain and John Lewis each left us an urgent message

"Chris coons welcome back to the PODCAST. Great to be on with you again. Jonathan. Let's start with the debate between president trump and vice president biden in Cleveland. You were there in preparation for a column that I wrote about the debate was looking for pictures as saw a picture in our system of you sitting in the audience in a mask and the look on your face even in the mask told a story talk about what it was like being at that debate in also given what we know. Now, what was it like being at the debate? Look it was bad enough with what we knew at the time Chris Wallace is someone I respect as a tough interviewer as a capable moderator. Struck, that from the literal opening sentence president trump was bullying him was insulting the audience was razzing in her racing. The former vice president did not in any way at any moment recognize or respect the rules that he agreed to. For this debate, I've been an elected official. Twenty years have been active in politics thirty. I've been to my share of rough and tumble debates particularly at local campaigns and I've had my share of unconventional onus but that was unbelievable. It was simply awful to sit through the rush the raw force of the negative aggressive insulting interrupting. Energy directed by President Trump at former vice president, Biden and the audience and our country in the world. One of my sons immediately following the debate texted me. They must be cheering in Russia and China the team of us that were out there to do sort of post debate spin rapid response for the Biden campaign were just silent as a group for minutes. Afterwards, it was really hard to endure. So Joe Biden Dr Jill Biden former second lady Joe Biden was about ten feet to my left and Mark Meadows and Don Jr. about ten feet to my right. And it was striking that they all walked in unmasked and sat there without masks through the entire thing even as staff person, I think a staff physician from the Cleveland. Clinic. Came around and try to get them to wear masks and it was striking to me at the time just how sweaty. Read how angry trump seemed through the whole thing. Later, when we learned that he was infected with Covid, nineteen may well have been covered positive for that debate. It added a layer of the and seriousness to the fact that he was literally yelling at Joe Biden for ninety minutes from a few feet away. I. Got Tested twice actually once rapid s one. The PTR test both negative, and then waited and waited hoping in until we got a negative test confirmation for a joe and Joe Biden there's now a covid nineteen outbreak at the White House that has infected I think at last count twenty one people including senators, senior members of the president's team as well as president trump and first lady Melania trump staff. Of the White House reporters and they are still refusing to do even the most minimal contact tracing ordered to publicly embrace a relevant public health standards. So what was already a horrifying experience being in the room for that debate? Then over the next week has sort of turned into a slow rolling horror as the president has made his own covert infection into. A piece of political theater and is now being replayed on cable shows all day a proudly taking off his mask and recording. Then re recording his triumphant reentry still infected to the white. House. I I was gobsmacked at the visual of Marine One swooping in to MED EVAC the president of the United. States to a military hospital then three days later watching this. One swoop back in and take him back to the White House for this cinematic return even though he is infected even though once he climbed all those stairs, you can see him gasping for air you have been in public life for more than twenty years you are on the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee. You travel around the world and talk to world leaders in this statesman position that. You're in how do you even explain this to the world if you can well Jonathan I, you know, I, do think it's important that Joe. Biden Joe Biden and the whole Biden campaign team step back they took down attack ads. They publicly expressed their concern, their prayers for the president first. Lady and their health as did I as did most liberal leaders in our country president trump. Does. Get absolutely world class healthcare. He was whisked by Marine One helicopter from the fortress like White House to a dedicated wing at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital. There is a dedicated presidential sort of sweet over there and he was treated with a cocktail of the most cutting edge treatments that your average American doesn't even have access to the combination of the widely used disappear with the. Less, widely used steroid that's commonly applied for those who are in some distress and a new monoclonal antibody treatment that's not yet approved for general use and he comes back saying several days later. Oh I feel better than I've ever felt better than twenty years before there's nothing to be afraid of don't let this virus room in your life. He even said that he thinks he's immune. I mean. He is the world's leading source of. About this pandemic and has inspired imitators from the president of Brazil to things said and done by Putin who declared that he had a effective vaccine before there was any stage three clinical trials, donner results released.

Trump Got Written Briefing in February on Possible Russian Bounties, Officials Say

"Is going to the White House today. They will be briefed on reports that Russia offered to pay Taliban linked fighters in Afghanistan to kill U. S troops. The lawmakers want to know who in the White House knew what And when. The New York Times now reports that President Trump got a written briefing about this in late February. There are various reports we should note about when the president was told, but the White House said As thie information never reached him. NPR congressional reporter Claudia Great Solace is on the line. Good morning, Claudia. Good morning knew. Well, what will happen in this meeting today? This will be led by House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer. The White House says they requested this meeting with Democrats and Democrats in turn, so they have a lot of questions. The group. Joining Hoyer Thiss meeting includes the chairs and members of several congressional committees with jurisdiction over this matter, and they're looking for answers. For example, I talked to representative Ruben Gallego of Arizona. He's a combat veteran, and he's not buying the administration's argument that they didn't share this information sooner because they're still trying to prove it out. And the story continues to evolve. In a new statement, the National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien said intelligence officials continue to investigate and could prepare a response over time. Okay, so Democrats go into the White House today. Interestingly, the White House briefed some Republicans yesterday. What happened in that meeting. So several of these members who attended this meeting afterwards echo the White House's narrative that the Intel community is conflicted on what actually happened and that they didn't necessarily think that Trump needed to be briefed yet, But they also expressed concern If the reports turn out to be true, I spoke to representative Adam Kinzinger of Illinois. He's also a combat better and let's take a listen. I think as we get more answers, then we'll know what the response needs to be. But I don't think this is built up to be any kind of internal scandal. But it is definitely a concern by way of. You know what roller is Russia playing in Afghanistan? NPR also spoke with representative Michael McCaul, another member who attended the meeting. He's a top Republican for the House Foreign Affairs Committee. And he said these allegations are very serious. And if true, he thinks the U. S needs to take swift and severe action against Russia. Of these meetings leave most of Congress still to be briefed on the matter, and congressional leaders such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others say these briefings fall woefully short of what's demanded here. NPR congressional reporter Cloudy gray solace. Thank you, Claudia. Thanks for having me.

White House says Trump was not briefed on Russian bounty intelligence

"Okay, so, what did President Trump? No, and what should he have known about allegations that? Russia offered bounties to kill US troops in Afghanistan House. Democrats are going to the White House to ask today the New York. Times first reported on the bounties. The Times said intelligence about the Russian offers. A payment made it into president trump's daily brief months ago now the presidential daily brief is. Is almost like a classified newspaper for one very important reader NPR another reported over the years that this president does not usually read it. Despite various news reports about when the president was told, the White House said the information did not reach him NPR congressional reporter cloudy Gra has been following this one. Hey, Claudia, hi, there! What's going to happen at today's meeting at the White House? This will be led by House majority leader. Steny hoyer the white. House says they requested this meeting with Democrats and Democrats. Interns say they have a lot of questions related to these intelligence reports the group joining Hoyer at this meeting includes the chairs and members of several congressional committees with jurisdiction over this matter that includes House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff. He's raised a series of concerns including if the president. President wasn't briefed to. Was it a result of his relationship with Russian president. Vladimir Putin. I spoke to him yesterday about this. Let's take a listen watch. Concern that there's a unwillingness to confront the president with the evidence of Russia's Melania activity because he doesn't here. And this was a running theme. When it came to most Democrats, I spoke to yesterday. who were headed to the White House today. The White House briefed some congressional Republicans yesterday. Why was there meeting the Republican meeting a day earlier and what happened in that meeting? You know it's unclear why it was organized. This way in terms of just Republicans going in yesterday. However, they quickly followed that meeting. Saying Democrats are invited to. They're just coming tomorrow. Of the Republicans, who did go? They echoed the White House's narrative that the intelligence community is conflicted on what actually happened and they didn't think necessarily the trump should have been briefed, but they also expressed concerns. If the reports turn out to be true, I spoke to representative Adam. King's Inger of Illinois. He's a combat veteran. Let's take a listen. I think as we get more answers Then we'll know what the response needs to be, but I don't think built up to any kind of internal scandal, but it is definitely concerned by way of you know what role. Role is Russia Planning Afghantistan NPR also spoke with Michael McCall another house. Republican, who attended yesterday's meeting? He's the ranking member on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and he said these allegations are very serious, and if true, he thinks the US needs to take swift and severe action against Putin and his mercenaries, another Senate member Senator Ben Sasse, said he's been hearing from military families this weekend. They're livid and right to be livid. They're looking for people in the city to be looking out for their kids safety because quote, they're on the frontlines of freedom fighting for us. Are there people who have been left out of today's briefing that surprise you that you would expect to have been invited most definitely. This includes members of the Senate Armed Services Committee. This includes congressional leaders among them House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She's called for the full House to be briefed and she and Hoyer say these briefings at the White House fall short of what's demanded here. They want the director of National Intelligence, the CIA to personally brief all house. Members at the Capitol and the story continues to evolve for example last night. The DNA and C. Director said they'll to investigate, and they'll brief the president and congressional members at the appropriate

Trump denies briefing on bounties against US troops

"I'm Anthony Davis. Donald Trump on Sunday denied that he had been briefed on reported US intelligence that a Russian Military Intelligence Unit secretly offered bounties to taliban-linked militants for killing American troops in Afghanistan and he appeared to minimize the allegations against Moscow. American, intelligence officials concluded months ago that Russian. Officials offered rewards for successful attacks on American service members at a time when the US and Taliban were holding talks to end the long-running war last year. Trump in a Sunday morning tweet, said nobody briefed told me all vice president Mike Pence. Chief of staff, Mark Meadows about the so-called attacks on our troops in Afghanistan Russians everybody is denying it, and they have not been many attacks on us, he said. The White House had issued a statement on Saturday, denying that trump or pens had been briefed on such intelligence despite it being widely reported that the president rarely reads intelligence briefing documents. Trump's tweet came a day off to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Biden said that the report, if accurate was a truly shocking revelation about the commander in chief and his failure to protect US troops in Afghanistan and stand up to Russia. "Everybody we have about thirty minutes left before bill o'reilly comes on and there was a primary yesterday believe it or not in a number of states in Kentucky and New York they have presidential primaries on the ballot and some tightly running the Senate and house primaries other dealing with challenges there like every place else in Kentucky there was a Senate contest between former marine pilot fighter Amy McGrath now this is a Democrat who would be a good candidate a former marine fighter pilot and this is what's happening in these democratic primaries remember the Democrats have done this to themselves running against her now she's going to run against of Mitch McConnell and she would be a tough candidate a woman and a marine pilot but they're running a guy named Charles Booker who's a radical like black lives matter and I don't know if he won or not that was just yesterday in the new York primaries there were several marquee races including one where the house foreign affairs committee chairman Democrat Eliot Engel is running against Jamaal Bowman the knowledge of bomb Bowman is another one who was endorsed by because the Cortez okay the look radical left and Bernie Sanders so what so did Bernie Sanders and AOC endorse this of Charles Booker in Kentucky they're destroying the Democratic Party from within which they deserve Virginia also held primaries Tuesday for the U. S. Senate and house races in North Carolina South Carolina and Mississippi had primary runoffs this is an interesting first African American doctor in Congress if he wins in the general election is doctor web he's in Virginia and he's running against a Republican named Bob good now Bob good defeated the incumbent Republican representative Dennis ragel men in the in the primary and he's running against this doctor web for the Virginia Senate race also in North Carolina Madison call Florida defeated Linda Bennett in the GOP primary now there you go there's another Republican losing in the primary for a house seat that was vacated by mark meadows who is now the chief of staff for the president so there were some hot races yesterday one of the things I think a lot of people are missing that I'll just inform you about that's really good news is that the president made an outstanding speech to young conservatives yesterday in Arizona and in the speech for the first time he sounded like Pat McDonagh and he's talked of any sounded like Tucker Carlson he started to define for the American people that these radical leftists want to conquer this country and transform it into a socialist restive nation and he's he's getting on that he did a great job and he's getting on to that theme and I can tell you he can ride that horse he can ride that horse back to the White House because the American people as a young black man called earlier said black community they're getting tired of this nonsense and in America are getting tired of this nonsense so I hope the president sticks to that message that's a great message and we're gonna go to my friend Carmen in Carroll County Carol Carmen what's up Hey Pat thanks take my call you know I don't drive into my neighborhood in Westminster which is around the average over a hill area and there is nothing but sold items on curbs by Forrester for open down show tables mattresses and now Lee you have to call and let them know that you need what trash pick up and it almost seems like a deliberate effort to come out here to the suburbs which are still suburbs and make it look like an inner city third world country Jennifer Carroll County that's unusual yeah it's terrible and I don't know why all of a sudden they don't have the staff to do the regular box trash pick up well I guess that's under the commissioner's whatever me in that area okay yeah yeah but I mean you know I don't know other people Westminster experience the same thing or not really is serving me well now they know now they know thank you very much and this is how things get out of control because people decide they'll pick it up South yeah it's amazing how much people will tolerate before they do something Mari Carmen thank you good to hear from you by the way all right hi copyright interests are very much hi honey take care right here is Tom where is Tom there is Tom good morning good morning Sir I wanted to touch upon the earlier call the African American disabled veteran I was an outstanding call I hope he runs for office someday because they really are taking advantage of disadvantage African American teenagers when they're pre positioning bricks on pallets around BC so they can you know manipulate their manipulating them exactly and the other thing is I've heard that antifa has threatened to destroy the images of four of our former presidents out of that parking and South Dakota and I saw the South Dakota and governor on on TV this morning and she is excellent her name is Christy no M. N. O. E. M. C. what a wonderful person I'd love to see her as the first American male female president but it's time for the silent majority to start gently pushing back because these safety for our fault they are George Korda Soros or Chinese communist paintings and bought their fascist it's interesting they're anti fascist with their fascist the whole whole history is available on you know the internet and I've read the books about them third but here here's what's interesting I think the president has finally gotten his footing and his get messages message last night a lot of people haven't seen it in Arizona he talked about this conquest of America this destruction of American values are monuments are history been going on for years been building up for years now they're coming out of the closet because it's an election year and their greatest mission is to destroy trump wants to get rid of him it's the dark ages so he started his stride now and I think if he gets that message out he's going to win by a landslide well I wonder what I'm worried about the most is when is when Jimmy Carter gave the canal Panama Canal which we felt the Panamanians and they find a hundred year lease or whatever with the Chinese communist yeah they could say is that the problem with the Chinese navy I don't have an office in February ships to invade America but all the guys don't have to they have hypersonic missiles go ten thousand miles an hour and they can also fix thousands of US army soldiers in the Panama drive right off the highway I'm not sure if that's the strategy but I'll tell you this in case you forgot Paul Sarbanes the former United States senator the Democrat was the guy who led the fight to give the Panama Canal away the Democrat from Maryland hi Tom thanks for the call all right here is sunny where is it is it sunny good morning I don't quite agree with you oh my goodness your use of terms Virginia L. the primary just frosts me terribly no you got the look of a publication book have anything to do with any primary convention he RT is responsible for its own primary party Green Party Democrat Republican it's very responsibility that one track very well or text very well Sunday sunny calm down calm down get your meds working we listen here's what he's not talking about with all the shouting and screaming in Virginia they have conventions within the Republican Party where the politicians pick the nominee it's the worst thing in the world the worst way to do it it's all about deals and politicians instead of the people who are members of the Republican Party having a chance to really pick it it's a lousy system sunny but any taxpayer involved we'll tell you what I don't mind spending some taxpayers money in a primary where taxpayers get a chance to vote as opposed to a bunch of politicians picking who we're going to have in the U..

State Department watchdog was investigating arms sales; Pompeo denies retaliation

"The State Department's Inspector General. I thought to be fired for investigating. The Secretary of State for assigning personal tasks to a department staffer also was investigating the approval of arms sale to Saudi Arabia without congressional approval officials from different congressional committees told NBC News. They believe Inspector General. Steve Clinic was fired in part for investigating Saudi arms sales that Congress had previously rejected house foreign affairs. Committee member Eliot Engel of New York. Confirm that investigation by late Monday. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are demanding a more complete explanation for Lennox firing according to the hill. Senator Chuck Grassley Republican of Iowa sent a letter to the president on Monday. Senator Grassley reminded president trump. The law requires detailed explanations for dismissing departmental watchdog to ensure that inspectors. General are not removed for political reasons. President Trump said the claims the secretary of state potentially misuse of government resources are overblown and seeing to consider them acceptable. Even if they are true look he's a high quality person. Mike is very high quality Zuri brilliant guy and now I have you telling me about dog walk in washing dishes and you know what I'd rather have him on the phone with some world leader. Then have him wash dishes because maybe his wife isn't there or his kids are you know. What are you telling me it's terrible. It's so stupid you know stupid. That sounds to the world unbelievable head to wash dishes because his wife wasn't there. The president also confirmed Monday. That secretary of State pompeo requested the dismissal of idealistic but did not directly address the issue of retaliation. President isn't there. At least an appearance of a conflict of interest of secretary. Pompeo is asking you to fire inspector. General's I don't I don't think so. I think maybe he thinks he's being treated unfairly again. He wanted to. He asked me if that would be possible. I said I'll do that. Your I think it should have been done a long time ago. Frankly and this is a man that has had some controversy. This inspector general but So again I don't know anything. I haven't even read much about him. I see that it's a little bit of a story not much of a story. 'cause everybody agrees that. I have the absolute right to fire. The Inspector General's secretary pay later dismissed the idea that his requests for the firing was in retaliation for links investigations into arms deals. And those errands saying quote. Because I simply don't know I'm not briefed on it. I usually see these investigations and final draft form. Twenty four hours forty eight hours before the is prepared to release them. So it's simply not possible for this to be an act of retaliation end of story says Secretary Pompeo the State Department's under-secretary for management told the Post that concern over linen had grown because of a quote pattern of unauthorized disclosures. Leaks to the news media about investigations. That were an early draft form. He added officials had no evidence. Linac was personally responsible for the leak so Casey Hud. There's a lot to unpack there. Let's go back to the arm sale though this was a year ago in. May when the president and secretary pompeo declared an emergency bypassing congress to sell about eight billion dollars worth of arms to Saudi Arabia and the UAE and it drew condemnation by the way from Republicans not just from Democrats but there was bipartisan. Condemnation of this move and now it appears that inspector general was looking into that declaration of emergency. Yes that's what. Nbc News learned late yesterday when Chairman Angle confirmed that this investigation was going on that they were angry that essentially he had the president and Pompeo tried to circumvent Congress on this arm sales question this was something that there are a lot of. Republicans as you point out who are very invested in what was going on in that particular situation. And who opposed this move by the administration but let's not forget to put the firing of this inspector general in to kind of the broader context in pattern that we're seeing going on here. This is not the first time something like this has happened and the administration has already ignored the rules that they are supposed to follow when something like this happens in the case of Michael Atkinson in the intelligence community by not explaining to Congress within thirty days why they did it and so I think there's a question here as to whether the administration will do it in the case of the State Department. This has been something that has drawn as you pointed out. Bipartisan condemnation chuck. Grassley though senator from Iowa has been particularly focused on this but the reality is Congress's relatively toothless in this regard they can make these demands asking for more information but the laws are not necessarily written in a position. That's strong enough to let them make a real difference here. And what we're left with is kind of a government that is increasingly. Not being held accountable. Now how that lines up with the president's campaign promise to drain the swamp I will let our viewers decide but they seem to be at odds. Donald Trump talked about how incredibly stupid thing sounded at his press conference. And I agree Casey. I want you to listen to this clip. One more time and let's focus on the part where Donald Trump says that he doesn't want Mike Palm. Oh doing dishes if his wife isn't there take a look. Look he's a high quality person. Mike is a very high quality his brilliant guy and now I have you tell me about dog walking washing dishes and you know what I'd rather have him on the phone with some world leader than have him wash dishes because maybe his wife isn't there or his kids are you know. What are you telling me it's terrible. It's so stupid stupid. That sounds to the world. Unbelievable quoting the president of the United States to you know Mr President how stupid that sounds to the world that in twenty twenty you say he needs State Department officials to washes dishes in case his wife. Isn't there

"What Congress intended when it passed that resolution I was here I remember it should be repealed not used to launch more military action if the president wants to use military force against Iran he has to come to Congress any president has to come to Congress we're not making rules only for this president with making rules for the president any president vis a vis Congress's constitutional powers congressman Eliot Engel foreign affairs committee chair the president has to make the case first first not after he launches into invites attack then after the fact comes up with a reason why it was necessary and why it was legal that's not the way our system works today I've heard the myth floating around that this resolution is non binding that is just symbolic so let me quote from the war powers act to prove that untrue what powers law says and I quote at any time that the United States armed forces are engaged in hostilities outside the territory of the United States it's possessions and territories without a declaration of war or specific statutory authorization such forces shall be removed by the president if the Congress so directs by Khan car and resolution again by Khan current resolution that's what the war powers act states that we need to do that's what we're doing today this is the house of representatives exercising his article one authority we don't get authority no no I will not yield making my opening statement of perhaps later this time we don't get authority over what powers just because if the president says so we get a thirty over what powers that's our authority so let's put that fiction to rest and one final point madam speaker about the tone of this debate yesterday a member of this body went on television and said and I quote that Democrats quote are in love with terrorists they mourn selling any more than they mourn our gold star families unquote another member label the group of colleagues I intellisense the thighs at a time when we're talking about policy that will have a direct bearing bearing on American men and women service members and diplomats in harm's way comments like that reflect very poorly on this body and I remind the house that all members both parties regardless of party love this country these words have no place in this debate on a farm fares committee we take pride in debating issues even the toughest issues on the merits and on the facts I salute my friend the ranking member Mister McCall for working so closely with me to make sure we do so that's one of the keys of the foreign affairs committee I strongly encourage all members on both sides to bear that in mind during this debate we all take the same oath we can argue about this resolution without questioning one another's motives or one of his patriotism I thank you madam speaker I reserve the balance of my time the gentleman from Texas is recognized thank you madam speaker I rise in opposition to house concurrent resolution eighty three Republican Michael McCall when president Obama take down Osama bin laden I look in the Republican members joined with Democrats as Americans to praise the president unfortunately today Democrats are incapable of giving this president credit where credit is due which only emboldened Iran surprise we faced with this partisan resolution today we should be standing together as the chairman mentioned as a nation instead this resolution place politics with national security yesterday the president laid out in a measured response to Ron's ballistic missile attacks we'll be clear the president is not seeking war with Iran the president has shown if anything great restraint regarding Iran including after Iran's downing of US drone a US military assets but in their blind consent for the president my colleagues are ignoring the assessments of career intelligence and military professionals our colleagues on the other side are downplaying the murders evil someone money the mastermind of terror in the Middle East for over two decades so money was days designated as a terrorist by the Obama administration he was responsible for the deaths of more than six hundred Americans and wounded thousands more so money was involved in the rainy plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States on American soil in Georgetown right in this city some money over store run support first shot in Syria including convincing Russia to fight for inside killing hundreds of thousands this year so money played a key role in the crackdown on protesters in Iraq they killed hundreds of Iraqis it should be clear to any reasonable person the song money posed a long term threat to the United States into innocent civilians in the Middle East and across the globe we United States embassy in Baghdad it's all money was not done secretary Pompeii said that some money was quote actively plotting to take big action they would put dozens if not hundreds of US lives at risk which DOD said targeted quote American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region the chairman of the joint chiefs general Millie said that the administration would have been probably negligence given the evidence they had an intelligence had they not acted the president possess the legal authority for the striking complied with his obligation to reported to Congress within forty eight hours into the war powers resolution resident has inherent article to authority as commander in chief to defend the United States personnel from a tax that's all money was carrying out in plotting against Americans it's an act of self defense in this is not just a partisan and now it's J. Johnson president Obama's general counsel at the department of defense and former secretary of homeland security he's the one who prove the air strikes during the Obama administration he said quote that some money was a lawful military objective and the president honors constitutional authority as commander in chief had ample domestic legal authority to take him out without an additional congressional authorization president Obama's secretary of homeland as a second authority the National Security Advisor cited the two thousand two eight you enough that authorized the use of force to quote defend the national security of the United States against the continuing threat posed by Iraq that authorization has been used previously to dress terrorist threats to US personnel inside Iraq including by president Obama to go after ISIS terrorist forces in Iraq the dangerously partisan reactions to last week's strike in defense of Americans or even more apparent we compared to Democrat reactions to Obama's thousands of on authorizing air strikes in defense of Libyans inside Libya in two thousand eleven back in June of two thousand eleven then when your policy was asked about Obama administration's months of airstrikes include inside Libya dropping hundreds of millions of dollars in US munitions without congressional authorization leader plus he was asked madam leader you're saying that the president did not need authorization initially and still does not need any authorization from Congress on Libya her answer was quote yes she said I believe the limited nature of this engagement allows the president to go for I'm satisfied the president has the authority he needs to go ahead that logic should apply for more in the strike you can sell money to protect Americans I'm please the ministration do not hesitate to take bold action given a high threat level so money showed us through the embassy attack any attacks on US forces that he was serious about hurting Americans our intelligence community saw his next plan coming together in our military and direction a direction from our commander in chief active congressman Michael McCall they saw the storm coming and they stopped it I want the problem I think the president and the men and women of our intelligence community and the military from holding their responsibility to protect American lives in and but instead of supporting the president unfortunately my Democrat colleagues are dividing Americans at a critical time weakening our leverage overseas and balding our enemy the largest state sponsor of terror in the world with that as my colleagues to oppose this resolution would cease to tie the president's hands as he continues to defend Americans in the Middle East and I reserve the balance of my time general from Texas reserves the gentleman from New York is recognized madam speaker I now yield five minutes to the author of this important resolution the gentleman from Michigan miss lock gentleman is recognized thank you I rise today in support of my bill the war powers resolution that states the president the United States must consult Congress before going to war with Iran this is simply what our constitution requires for me this is not a theoretical exercise my husband spent thirty years in the army retired as a colonel we actually met on my third tour in Iraq when I was a CIA officer my step daughter is a brand new army officer my son in laws unit is stationed at all outside air base which which is targeted by ballistic missiles this week if our loved ones are going to be sent to fight in any protracted war the president owes the American public conversation the resolution will be voting on today allows us to start that debate as our founders intended let me be clear the government of Iran is a leading state sponsor of terrorism and engages in a range of destabilizing activities across the Middle East I have experience these personally as a former CIA analyst I serve to multiple territories on a rock three tours my specialty is a running back she a malicious I have followed around destabilizing activity in Iraq up close for my entire professional career I've watched friends and colleagues hurt or killed by running and rockets mortars and explosive devices running general Qassem Soleimani wise the lead architect of much of Iran's destabilizing activities in the Middle East and throughout the world to that end with Iran or with any other adversary the United States always has been hired right and obligation to self defense against imminent armed attacks always and United States always maintains the right and the responsibility to ensure the safety of our diplomatic personnel and our armed forces serving abroad but when it comes to the matter of longer term war either is something that we choose as a nation or is something that we find ourselves in as members of this body we have a constitutional responsibility to authorize the use of military force the framers of our constitution rightly believe that the power to declare war belongs in the Congress because this would ensure that the American people through the legislators they elected way the most significant decision a government can make to this end the resolution does a few simple things first it states that the president does not currently have authorization for war against Iran which his own secretary of defense acknowledged in a congressional hearing last month second it requires the president to get caught congressional authorization if he wants to conduct a protracted war with Iran third it makes clear that the president maintains the authority to use force to prevent imminent attacks against the United States or forces as someone who spent her career in national security is extremely important to me that this resolution in no way ties the president's hands or takes away any capabilities from our military commanders to respond in self defense for ourselves and for our allies we have been at war for nearly two decades which is found both Republican and democratic administrations as my colleague pointed out and in that time Congress has only voted twice to authorize the use of military force in two thousand and one and two thousand and two Congress has a long abdicated its responsibility as laid out in the constitution to make the hard decisions we owe our troops when it comes to authorizing war we owe.

"Six six ninety right I okay our audio cut of the week and I'm just just because of all the climate change hysteria this week because Greta Thunberg the Swedish teenager remember across the this month the Atlantic in a sailboat to protest climate change and it was children's day before the house foreign affairs committee this isn't where you bring in this is where you have a true debate this were you bring in the children who now believe the world is being doomed and they're not going to be able to live to adulthood to have in order to tongue did talk at the the this the. I don't know the emotional strings of Americans right to say look we've created in our society our kids now are full of anxiety and believe they're doomed and not gonna live to adulthood but here is a Jamie Margolin a high school senior who sued her home state of Washington for its role in causing climate change here is part of her testimony. for for me it's. it's really been affecting the similar to Vic I already have like underlying issues of like anxiety. and it's just really hard to grow up in a world full of if so you know I don't think a lot of people in Congress understand the conversations that are happening in everyday American high schools but we're constantly ask every future study for your future do this for your future better our world is full of ifs I'll be talking to my best friend and she'll be like yeah you know I really want to see this natural place sometime if it's going to still be around I really want to study to be this if that still going to be a possibility in issues like this constant looming uncertainty and it's a weird form of. of nylon some and and weird just fear that's that's been existing in my generation where it kids are joking like what is even like the point the the world's is is ending what are we starting for what are we doing and it's this kind of depression and his fear that is not just among near my panelists here but but everyone in the inside is something that no child should ever have to fear because if you think about it if you go back to what is the purpose of a parent down to just the biological visits to give their child the best future and the best life that they can possibly have and the merits of the supposed American dream it. to make sure that children have a better future. then the adults but right now it's like some members of government and some corporations are actively pointing a gun to children's futures and actively making it worse actively going out of their way to support corporations and poison us and destroy our future and that is horrifying and it feels like a betrayal it's like a knife to the heart. there you go you see where this goes. in a time. where young people today. have. the most incredible society. in all of person kind just in case Justin Trudeau was listening. he is he's he's packing boxes in all of person caught in in in all of our history. the society that has been created. is the best that man has ever had. the opportunities for young people limitless. and what are the adults in liberalism teaching their kids. they will not make it to adulthood it is hopeless. the world is being destroyed you will not make it to adulthood. you will not be able to have a family you will not be able to have a career. what type of human beings do that take away hope from young people what type of an adult. more rain washes. young children into believing. that they have no hope for a future that's what liberals do when they want power and control over your life they have. no problem and as you said earlier. either this young senior in high school is being completely disingenuous. where she is completely brainwashed by the lives. of the left she was hot this by the adults in her life. what type of human beings what type of adults do that to their children. what kind of what I'm gonna say what kind of a conscience what black about conscience watch must you have. to take away all hope from your children. thank you will never see adulthood. as for the ifs there's always this. right. you know it's it is this some insane. approach by the left that has been ramping up for a few generations now. it is. the idea. of indoctrination if you can get the next generation and the generation after that into believing. the fear. and you slowly ramped up. well the ultimate fear is the world was ending. and then you put a time line on. we have twelve years. but says we have ten. not sure what these kids think. or what they believe there's there's two. options here there's two explanations. either of these children are not being completely honest and they're not living in fear every day. or. they actually are. either one. it's tragic. either one. points to a learned behavior. lied to get what you want. or. the learned behavior of living in fear the learned items along the way that the world is ending essentially. their life has zero meeting because it's not going to be worth anything because it won't be here in ten to twelve years. when you have a major political party that again is endorsed the green new deal which the whole concept was twelve years which and better work took to ten years. somebody authors listen and somebody is buying it in anything that you sell somebody eventually buys it and look there are fools that will bite there are adults are fools that will buy things every day and they were young people that if they don't know any different and they trust you will buy which were selling even if it's a lie. happens all the time we see it all the time. we now. look at the look at the telemarketers look at the crap they sell and people buy it all the time yes look at look at the con games that you know that that are played look at the pyramid schemes there are always people out there that are willing to believe anything. yeah. but this is a case. where these are the people closest these are the adults closest to these children. these are the teachers and these are the parents. because if your child came home from school. if I had a child who came home from school for my nephew was going to school and a teacher was telling them and the discussion with the young people was that why should we study because we're not going to be around. in ten years that everything is doomed. you know as well as I do everyone of it but everyone of you listening right now would be right up to that school I'm probably would pull your child out of that class it it at the minimum and say No Way. and they would be wholly held a raise if it was this the score my kids went to that were teaching that and telling them there's no hope it's over for you. I just don't get it. and their last president one on hope and change. well that's the whole thing I mean the you know president Obama would say the same thing weren't any bias. they know it's crap. well the adults do the dolls too yeah they did the wealth yeah the adults do because how did you gain and maintain power. well it at at this point it has to be the ultimate fear. the world is ending it's coming to an end to me those people on the left they know what's they know it's I believe that the majority of them no it's B. S. but in order to remain in the power and control in the area where they get power and control which is preaching the redistribution of income that's what they're attempting to do that's what it's all about it's redistributing income and they redistribute income why they do what the I believe the majority do not because about socialist but that's how they retain their power and control that's how they retain their positions if you look through history that's actually the reality of what happens with the leaders ship of all of you know all of these calls like type of movements that exist all they simply want is power and control they want the money they want the power they want to control they want the better lives for themselves while the wall label lie and hurt other people yeah and lied to the people that support them. because they find that the people that support them. we'll believe the lice. let's go to Mike in Knoxville Tennessee Mike welcome you're not already a welcome to the show quickly here hi. "For Gordon Deal along with Ross occa- reminder. We can connect on social media friend us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter with the username at this morning show from flop to front runner, Joe Biden failed to crack one percent in the two thousand eight caucuses in Iowa. But now he's the front runner. What happened Natasha correctly of politico is here with the story Natasha what happened to Biden into eight. He would facing forces that were that were much greater than him. First of all because you had somebody named Barack Obama coming on the scene for the first time two thousand eight four years after he had given Obama had given the. Dazzling transformative speech at at the democratic national convention that everyone song was inspired by and fairly quickly rose up in Iowa. And they're becoming head head gotten all the star power. The same time you had Hillary Clinton running historic campaign, and then you had John Edwards running and he had been vice presidential nominee four years before that. So you have these three national figures running, and they sort of blotted out the sun in terms of fundraising and campaigning. And you know, putting ads on the air organization. Staff on the ground in Iowa. Joe Biden coming in as a Senator from Delaware. And he was sort of elder statesman time believe it or not no even more of an elder statesman. But that that was how trying to position himself as. You know, he he had a a a lot of international intelligence, he experience he was on foreign affairs committee. And he he was he was kinda trying to run as somebody who had that experience. And and teach us couldn't quite get traction on his messaging and talk to your story points out despite all this that I really did like Joe Biden. It was interesting because. You hear from Joe Biden in Iowa. He couldn't get more than one percentage point. And it was just a big flop crew the way that that the caucuses are calculated in terms of the number of delegates. However, they're talking to people and kinda going back to, you know, the time done I'm like, he know what he actually packed some bars attack smaller venues, people really liked him very likable on the ground. It just was that. He didn't have staff you didn't have resources. He he was very popular in certain pockets of the state, but he just couldn't get traction statewide. So was that he got the one percent because everyone hated him. It was it was kind of of of factors including these people. And then there's also goes. Back to our storage. It's a caucus rules in Iowa. You know, you're you're at alive caucus, you have to have a total people who show up you have to have fifteen percent of the total to be declared viable, so you know, some people argue while we often have thirteen percent wealth percents, and we weren't bible if you're not viable you get zero. So you know, you late that across state than their argument is we actually a lot better than people think we're speaking with Natasha correctly from politico Natasha everything's turned around the metrics are flipped why is Biden doing well. Right now, he comes back as having served to to terms in the White House under Barack Obama. And you know, he's he he has the Obama legacy heat that he's running on he has name recognition. You know, all these early. Rolling. It's it is ain't that recognition. He he has ability very high. And and you know, if you look at polling in Iowa, there's lots of different metrics that they look at it. And one of them is. In candidate to liberal to moderate, just right and on all the candidates and their twenty more than twenty Democrats Biden scored the highest on the jumped right question. Thanks Natasha tasha correctly of politico..

Hello, everybody. Mark Levin here. Our number eight seven seven three eight one three eight one one eight seven seven three eight one three eight one one. I have a question for Nancy Pelosi that I'm sure she will not be asked by CNN and MSNBC. And their little website offshoots. Why did you put? Spigot alien, Omar. On the house foreign affairs committee. Why did you do that? Was it a broad experience? She hadn't abroad experience. Were you pandering to fundamentalist Islamist? And this is the point, ladies and gentlemen. She is a fundamentalist Islamist. She loves the attention. She's getting. She is a hero. In many of these countries that hate America. She is a hero. Among these radical Islamic organizations in this country, including care a hero. She's a hero of the radical progressive left. Which has always been antisemitic. Among other things. Now, there are other things I want to get into. But I want to finish this call is a newspaper on Capitol Hill. I believe it's the oldest one. And it covers Capitol Hill. And over at the free beacon, Adam Crato, who's terrific reporter. He points out that this newspaper. Roll call is now facing a backlash after one of its reporters attempted to discredit a recent effort by a group of leading Jewish and pro Israel organizations to see Omar removed from the house foreign affairs committee. And this is what the left us the tech Trump. Jewish organizations claim that we need to be nice to everybody. This has nothing to do with anything. That's taking place here. There's a perpetrator. There's an individual with a name with a face with an office. She held. With an office. She holds roll-call writer, Emily cop. A former intern for democratic house speaker Nancy Pelosi seal this works. Came under intense scrutiny on Wednesday. For what observers widely described as lazy and factually inaccurate reporting on a recent call by Jewish groups to see Omar unseated from the powerful foreign affairs committee. So here you have a fraud. A so-called reporter now working for roll-call taking up the case of reformer, boss. Nancy pelosi. Cop and a report headlined among the Jewish groups Trump's sites one with Neo Nazi ties attempted to paint. Several of the groups included on a letter as anti Muslim hate groups claim that was debunked hours after she published a report, this is why these people need to be sued. This is why these groups should hire Lynnwood to sue them. And by the way, he will be my guest this Sunday. This Sunday on life, liberty and LeVine. And life, liberty and LeVine with Brandon struck. Was the highest rated program on FOX during the evening and night hours. And of course, we crushed CNN and MSNBC I mean, honestly who couldn't. Who could I put a dancing squirrel on TV, and they'd beat CNN and MSNBC I'm not trying to be self deprecating. But is telling you the truth. Doesn't come to people or let me go watch CNN. I wanna rerun a Brian Stelter? Really? I'd rather stick pongy sticks in my feet. Wouldn't you Mr. producer? Anyway, let us continue. Cop relied on research from the southern poverty Law Center, which is now I- discredit organization or the SPIC claiming that two of the group's act for America and center for security policy. Engage in hateful bigotry cop, also attempted to tie the center for security policy to Neo Nazis, a spurious claim that has been done been debunked time and time again, it doesn't matter. She's a Pelosi hack trust up as a reporter over their roll. Call. The letter which was exclusively reported by the free beacon. Bat letter earlier in the week, drew the attention of the president who endorsed the call Omar to be removed. Isn't it interesting that the president of the United States? Has taken a lead in this effort. And they still trash as some kind of a bigot. He is attacking the bigot in the democrat party. And the media attack him. The one thing that Trump presidency has done among many is has finally exposed the media for what it is. A hoax. Now. Cop the Pelosi. I te. Who works for the role. Call newspaper did not cite the free beacon's original reporting on the letter what is now being dubbed the roll-call smear campaign. The publication is facing an avalanche of criticism for relying solely on the southern poverty law center's debunked research and its bid to criticize the president and defend Omar under the guise of neutral journalism. What a clown Emily Cup. What a clown newspaper roll call. But a clever name. Now. Let's move into more of the totalitarianism. That is the democrat party. This is from the hill. There's paper. Democrats won't let Fox News host primary debate. The Democrat National Committee said today, it would not permit Fox News to host a presidential primary debate citing an explosive story this week in the New Yorker by Jane Mayer, who is a left-wing Kukoc always has been and she's creepy. Creepy. Left wing lunatic. Explosive story, ladies and gentlemen. She regurgitated pass stories. That's what she was explosive bombshell. Oh, my and explosive bombshell. Incredible and explosive bombshell. That was incredible. Recent reporting by the New Yorker on the inappropriate relationship between President Trump has ministration and Fox News has there been a study of the inappropriate relationship between CNN and the Democrats on Capitol Hill. Like, Adam shifty? And Jerrold Nadler. Has there are over at MSN the same thing. Of course, not reporting it as a minute. Fox's has led me to conclude that the network is not in a position to host a fair and neutral debate for our candidates, therefore, Fox News will not serve as a media partner for the twenty twenty democratic primary debates rights Peres himself, a left-wing hack. Said in a statement, the Washington compost first reported, the DNC's decision to exclude Fox News if I reflects I wouldn't want them anyway because the democrat party is the David Duke party. The democrat party is the David Duke party. You don't want to taint Fox News with a democrat primary. The DNC is already announced they will hold as many as twelve debates during the primary contest including six this year. I obey kettle for June on NBC, MSNBC, Telemundo and July hosted by CNN. Well, that's quite a diversity of left wing kooks Taliban. No, MSNBC NBC and CNN. Wow. Fox News has been lobbying to get its own debate and Peres had considered partnering with the conservative outlet. In a statement. Fox News senior vice president and managing editor Bill Sammon said the network coat. The DNC would Ricans a Bill don't waste your time. I used to know Bill when he was at the Washington. I haven't seen a two billion years built on waste your time. But dole cited Chris Wallace Brett Baer, Martha maccallum, these are all of whom embodied the ultimate journalistic integrity and professionalism. They don't care about that Bill. And stop trashing the opinions side of fats. It's not a good thing. It's not a good luck. What they want to sync offense. And they know wolf Blitzer when he's awake is a synchophant. They know Jake tapper is one of them. Know Chris Cuomo is of a democrat family and one of the dumbest brothers. Anybody could have the governor of New York. Yeah. He he wants MSNBC because of their nonpartisanship like, Al Sharpton. And Chris Matthews. And the morning schmo and MRs schmo. Oh, yeah. The New Yorker article by correspondent, Jane, Jamie. She's not a car spun it treats, a hitman or a hit lady whips a hit it. Detail deep ties between Fox News and the Trump White House. Well, she right about deep ties between CNN and Adam shift. I recall wasn't it. Donna Brazile, who was feeding information to the Democrats. They Hillary Clinton. From her post at CNN is I recall that the Jane Mayer mayor Meyer right about that. I don't believe so. She's a hitman hit woman, they hit it. She always has been she went after Clarence Thomas years ago. Just looked at her wide range of writings her scholarship. Trashing Republicans and conservatives, and she herself as a mouthpiece for these people. So she attacks FOX and people at FOX for what she claims they're doing which is exactly what she does. She has her head so far up that collective ask of the left and the democrat party. I forgot what she looked like creepy. Mayor reported on allegations that form of Fox News chief Roger Ailes had given Trump a heads up about potential questions. He would face in the twenty sixteen primary debate. I don't believe. Roger Ailes is still with us. Do you Mr. producer? After leaving. Fox News midst of sexual harassment scandal else who has since passed advice. The Trump campaign. Do people still read the Washington Post? I'm just curious how about Jane Mayer mire mare? Does she read the Washington Post? The relationship between Ben bradlee and John Kennedy and the Kennedy family is well known it's been written about over and over and over again. Nobody questions the integrity of the Washington Post, but me. After leaving Philadelphia. Fox News has not hosted a democrat presidential debate for several election cycles. Really? Oh, you know, who should host a democrat primary debate this time, ladies and gentlemen. Al jazeera. Because that's exactly where the democrat party belongs aljazeera. They should hold a democrat party. Not Telemundo aljazeera. Because the deer bigot an anti Semite, Omar. I'm no doubt loves aljazeera. They came to her defense today too. I'll be right back. Mm-hmm. "We do have an open line get you in before midnight. Let me go to Bill in danvers Bill. You're next on nightside. Go right ahead. Yes. Rob is always as far as the Massachusetts delegation. You know, who knows it should be a slam dunk on this that it shouldn't be tolerated or accepted, I'm up here in the sixth district. So we got molten and I'll call tomorrow. But I mean, it's frustrating when you bet you molten will I will bet you that it is anyone in the delegation who is likely to. And again, it depends me if it's a generic little we condemn we're opposed to anti-semitism they're all going to say, yes. But if it gets really specific and goes after this one member of congress, and suggests that she should be taken off the foreign affairs committee, or whatever that's when it's going to get uncomfortable for the Democrats. And I would bet you that Seth Moulton would probably be amongst the Democrats in Massachusetts who would most likely. Criticize her individually, in my opinion. Yeah. Well, I mean, I would hope so in you know, I'd be happy to see that. But you know, somebody who's pass votes. Yeah. I consider myself relatively informed. I pay attention. I'll even have the number the house, you know, and it could be the day of the vote, and it could be on the floor. And I'll call the office that I said, you know, I'm wondering on this certain subject, or if I have the Bill number, you know, how the congressman plans to vote on this particular issue. And you know, rather than getting a yes, or no, well, they don't wanna tell you. And you gotta let it five days later, and you basically have to sit down as two pages. Like, a lawyer wrote it. Well, that's true. This is all form lead is will part of the reason why that is if I remember congress, and God knows I'll never be a member of congress. I would tell my staff. Hey, look, unless I know for sure that I'm going to vote. Yes. No. Or whatever. I give me until because all of a sudden there could be a persuasive argument at the end of a debate, which might change my mind. I don't want my staff telling you that I'm gonna vote. Yes. And find out three hours later that I voted no. You know? I mean the day of the vote you're going there. I mean, you know, in a lot of this stuff is I mean, we kind of have an idea. Sort of with. I think you're right. They don't blend together. In those twenty six Democrats at one of the blend together got threatened behind closed doors the other day because they voted with Republicans. They will want. Yeah. Well, there's there was some of that. And as a matter of fact, I I believe that Alexander ocasio Cortes a mere freshman was threatening to primary more moderate members. So the Democratic Party, and the Democrats just don't have a problem members of the Jewish community or the Israeli state, which is our ally and only democracy in the Middle East that we can count on. They seem to have a problem if you've really strict devout Catholic too because if you remember about a month or two ago, there was a judge. I'm listening to this and and new true senators running for president Harris from California, and they said, and they brought up and they said he was part of a hate organization. So I'm thinking that the guy, you know, what you want Klux Klan, and yeah, right? It was the knights of Columbus. Yeah. I couldn't believe it. I should John F. Kennedy. Was remember the knights of Columbus? Yeah. Right. Was also the the the Senator the democratic Senator maisy Harare. No. I believe was the one that actually raised that issue, Diane fine. And I think Harris did as well. But Diane Feinstein had gone after Amy Barrett who is a potential supreme court nominees saying that the dogma of the Catholic church was baked into her and all of that. So. Yeah. Great points Bill. Given Donald Trump and his economy, a thumbs up setting record industry optimism of the economy predicting positive growth unseen during the Obama administration gave up and said those jobs ain't coming back. National association of manufacturers said big small companies are overwhelmingly optimistic about future growth. In fact, the past nine quarters have seen record optimism average of ninety one point eight percent of manufacturers positive about their own firm. Well, you know that the the Pittsburgh steel company. They just reopened a plant that they were manufacturing in Alabama. Which is awesome. Let's serious good high paying career jobs where do we get these pipelines online? We have jobs people building the pipelines. But once we start producing the natural gas and exporting the natural gas, as we have more energy than any other area of the world, combined oil, gas, etc. When we now go to Anwar and opened up Anwar one of the largest untapped reserves. We've ever seen been sitting there forever and just fighting about it. It's gotta be hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of high paying career long jobs for Americans that will live better lives by bigger homes, safer neighborhoods, and yet vacations by the nice new truck every few years that they like and be more comfortable and able to give the extras to their kids. Unlike sea, Andrew Cuomo. Was campaigning for his third term, and he pledged to finish his entire term in office. The only caveat is God strikes me dead. He said sounds like God put Cuomo on alert yesterday. Anywhere Cuomo on alert because he's suggesting that he's deciding whether to get into the presidential race and its decision is going to be based on whether Biden Rum's. All right. Andrew cuomo. He's he's the worst governor. It's simple. No one Hans with an assault rifle. No one needs ten bullets. No. And then you know, he has all the ability to make New York. Great again. No, no. He he has the potential the potential is right there under our feet, and it's called natural gas of which New York state has an abundance of. But he won't allow New York to tap into the you know, what will be hundreds of thousands of jobs, and and literally hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars, and he's whining to President Trump that he has a two point three billion dollars shortfall because the subsidies that these high tax states would put on the the no tax or low tax states. Why should those states not get the benefit when they elected politicians that don't give them high taxes, and I'm saying this directly against my own personal interest. But if you have a high tax states, like New York or California where you know, you. Dealing with twelve percent income tax state, local city, federal whatever. Well, not federal but state local city taxes income taxes at twelve point. We used to be able to deduct that we can't deduct that anymore. But that was the deduction that people couldn't get in low tax states or no tax states. So they they were being favored people in New York being favored, and frankly, reinforcing elections of really dumb people that raise our taxes and do little with it. I don't know. He's he's so far out there beef. So interesting to see if he really wants to get into that race. You know, it's amazing. You got all of these issues involving antisemitism, Omar to leave. And so funny how the networks are so quiet about rampant. Antisemitism now when rising within the democratic ranks and even a causE', oh, Cortez defending congresswoman Omar's tweets about Israel. And like really this is the Democratic Party where the leaders of the Democratic Party. Why aren't they outraged about the tweeting that's gone on and the constant attacks on Israel. Remember, this is a woman that tweeted out once Israel is hypnotized the world May Allah awaken the people and help them. See the evil doings of Israel. Well, she's still on a foreign affairs committee. All right. So yesterday, we went over a lot of different things, and it really comes down to this is this is what we're now heading into. I'm looking into my my hourglass here through the prism. What do you call? That thing. Crystal ball, and I'm looking into it. And I see the future. This is what's going to happen? You're going to watch all these radical left wing Democrats trying out liberal out green deal out extreme the other one and the wacky base of the Democratic Party. In all likelihood is going to pick the nominee. Now. There's a reason Joe Biden is being hesitant getting into this race Zimmer reality if it was a fair contest pillory didn't rig the primaries back in two thousand sixteen. Probably Bernie Sanders would have been the candidate the fact that that got stolen, and nobody seems to care about it. This kind of one big untold story. That's why she tried to rig the general election. That's what the whole dossier dirty Russian dossier. The lies. We knew about this information because was all leaked out there and the whole purpose was to propagandize the American people and make you think Donald Trump had two hookers in a bed in Moscow peeing in his bed. And it wasn't true. Among other things told lies about everybody in that. Then it was used as a basis. The award. But anyway. If you really want to break it down to brass tax cut to the chase. This is now the Democratic Party of today. They're now pushing for during and after birth abortion infanticide. They are the party. That's now beginning to tell you and apparently in one poll thirty six percent of Americans are buying into this. That may be it's irresponsible and dangerous to have children the bring kids into this world. They are now. And now, it's Donna Cossio Cortez. These a many of the two thousand twenty candidates Kamala Harris Kirsten gillibrand Bernie Sanders. And now they want Medicare for all. But that also includes you're forced into the government health care system. You will not have any choice or option. I thought liberals were pro choice. In other words, you will no longer be able to have your own private health insurance. Now, they're pushing legalize drugs and prostitution and reparations that spend the last couple of weeks, then they want massive tax increases of seventy percent the top marginal rate, and then after you pay the top marginal rate, if you're able to save anything. Well, they might come back as a means of paying for free childcare and make you pay a wealth tax. In other words, they will legalize government stealing. It already is at seventy percent anyway. Now. And then they're the party now, and this is the choice election. This is what you're going to get to choose. Then they're the party that even they make you pay to die. If after you pay your seventy percent marginal rate, and then after you pay your wealth tax, if you save too much, then you have anything left at the end of the day. They're gonna come in in the federal government gets forty percent of that Bill live in New York state. They got another ten percent of that. Now words you paid to die in America. That's why they call it the death tax. Now, they're the party that is enthusiastically embracing this idea that in ten years, we will eliminate all fossil fuels. There will be no more use of oil and gas. That means we're going to eliminate all cars with combustion engines, they will compel you to completely rebuild your home to their specifications. Who's gonna pay for it? Nobody's talking about that. Now, the cost of all this the early estimates are as high as ninety four trillion dollars in ten years. They will they're the party that literally wants to eliminate. They say this. They wanna get rid of gas oil combustion engine cows because of the flatulence and the CO two gas emissions. Airplanes as well. And they got to replace transportation with high-speed trains and plugging stations all around the country. They will also they're the party that wants open borders. They want to tear down the border barriers and walls that we have up, regardless of the cost that we know illegal immigrants, you know, it's literally billions of dollars we've paid over the years in the impact on our healthcare system our educational system. Our criminal Justice system, they are a party that is willing to leave us as a country totally and completely defenseless against gangs and cartels, even human traffickers of young women bringing them into prostitution as we have chronicled. They would leave the country defenseless and the borders wide open for the ninety percent of heroin. That's in America coming across that southern border and the same with Fenton all the party that would leave us defenceless again. Those criminal elements that would have white access to the borders and commit murder and homicide and sexual assaults. The party that would eliminate all of this and the party that would nationalize industry and eliminate corporate monopolies. That's the very definition of socialism, the national ization of industry, and that would mean when you can't buy private health insurance that means they have taken over entirely the healthcare industry, and that would include taking over the energy industry that would destroy the lifeblood of our economy. They're the party that then would turn around and make the broad promises that they're going to give you a job, but a sustainable wage medical family. Leave government guaranteed vacations, you're gonna get their healthcare system. Whatever form it ends up taking they're going to get you're going to get their retirement system. You're gonna get K through twelve and also college trade school that's going to be free. You're gonna get everything that they offer is going to be free the party when they're gonna add daycare to the list. There won't be a single thing. You have to worry about paying for it. Is going to build high speed rail's, but probably that's going to take a few thousand years. So in the meantime, I guess you can take a rowboat over to Europe. And maybe a parasail your way over to Australia somehow, good luck flying Asia. This is you know, this this is so sick. I can't even believe you got a hundred congressmen and women and senators supporting this crap. This is not a game. This is it. They will they're now go this is the party that will spend the entire Trump presidency as they have now committed this week. To abusing all of their power. Not serving you the people and trying to undo. Duly elected president and put the country into total upheaval that would literally gain their power to advance their new green deal by destroying the current president that they think you mistakenly voted for. That's what that is what they're going to do. This is who they are. Versus and I'll leave it this way. The president that has gotten more done in a shorter period of time with more records set on the economy and more promises kept than any president in our lifetime. And it's all.

"Staffers had already started working on the resolution before the group's letter. According to one senior democratic aide. Nearly a dozen pro Israel groups also urged Pelosi to Omar from her coveted spot on the house foreign affairs committee, but Democrats are not doing that angle. Who's the chairman of that committee called out for vile, anti semitic slur? He did not call for her to be removed from the committee of the two dozen other Democrats on the foreign affairs committee, nearly all did not respond or or declined requests to comment on Monday. No, congressional Democrats. None have publicly called for Omar to lose her seat on the foreign affairs panel though. And this is typical political reporting here, though, GOP leaders have begun to pelts pouncing GOP leaders pouncing like jungle cats as Pelosi and her leadership team prepare yet, another rebuke of Omar's language. House minority whip Steve Scalise. Pouncing pelting pelting everywhere says resolutions are all well and good. But speaker Pelosi is clearly afraid to stand up to Representative, Omar. And she continues to rewarded with the Plum spot on the foreign affairs committee, right and appear with her on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, of course, Omar has received support from AFC and Rasheed had to leave all of the fresh faces so fresh and so face Pelosi majority leader citing higher they've not responded to any of this stuff. "Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This next story comes from the foreign affairs committee from the house of representatives in our fine US government, which has we record. This is still shut down. Wow. Yeah. I'm actually have surprised I could get to this webpage but bipartisan cyber diplomacy act of twenty nineteen take the phone away from president right step one. This is your phone. Yeah. This is the wall around the phone head of the house foreign affairs committee. This is Republican Mike McCall. He is from Texas along with the chairman Eliot Engel, a democrat from New York have introduced this the cyber diplomacy active twenty nineteen and this is basically just recognizing the importance of cybersecurity saying that there will be a high level ambassador for cyberspace to lead. The State Department's diplomacy efforts help create international policy, particularly when it comes to folks like Russia, and China outlined objectives, and all that sort of thing. So it's Representative of what continues to be a a nice bipartisan recognition that that. We needed them. Some about the cyber. Yeah. Yeah. This is this is one area where it seems as though. You don't have anybody saying that it's fake news. Or that? It's it's it's a vast conspiracy. From either side, they they all seem to. But also nothing really seems to be happening. I just want us all to cast our minds back to two years ago when this horrible administration came in. There was the one glimmer glimmering bit of hope was that they seem to have a plan right about the cyber. Yup. Now. Nothing's happened. Well, yeah. And I think a lot of that has to do with the hollowing out of the State Department, which absolutely happened. They've lost so much so many people so many experienced people have left or and it just trickles down. So where in a bad place? I in terms of this diplomacy stuff, thanks to that. And I think it's gonna take years our country to recover, but certainly recognition here from some folks in congress that this is important, and I guess one of the few bipartisan things, we can still. Will point to and say MO maybe there's some hope here, or there is something we agree on, right? Right. Well, I like the fact that it's an ambassador, not czar. We we've we've stepped away from the term czar right for all of these these appointees because. Yeah, you know, Russia, but you know, we just have we just have this connection. I mean, we've gotta czar in the White House already. We don't need one in in the State Department now, I guess. Yeah. But this is a good thing. Yeah. So this last one I have this week. This is from the folks at reveal news the center for investigative reporting. And this is the title of the article is Facebook knowingly duped game playing kids and their parents out of money shocking. No, no, surely, not Mark Zuckerberg just wrote a huge opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal about how wonderful a company that they are never do anything bad. This is another one of those articles where the the farther through it. I reach the angrier. Get the more disgusted. I get because when you think it couldn't possibly get worse. It gets worse. Basically what the crux of this is that, you know, kids go on Facebook to play games, and they ask their parents is it, okay? If I spend twenty bucks on playing angry birds, and their parents, say sure, here's my credit card. Hard. Give him the credit card, and then the parents are unaware that Facebook stores the credit card and Facebook doesn't require any additional authorisation to purchase more on the credit card..
