"That does it for most of the football confidence level ten picks this week. We're all doing under unders on the games. So I'm going to do under 41. On Seattle and the ramps, the rams offense is just terrible right now. It makes me ill, actually. And Seattle probably gets out to a decent lead and then kind of just runs the ball with kind of the walker. So I'm going to go with the under with Seattle. I'm going to go with the under 38 and a half in the Broncos ravens. I think both teams are struggling, clearly the Broncos are struggling. Big time, the ravens just lost to the Jaguars. And the Broncos still have a pretty good defense despite not being able to score, so it just feels like 17 to 9 type game. 100%. My pick is the under for the Titans at eagles 44 and a half. Oh man, the Titans run defense is really good the Titans offense is not very good to me that makes a good recipe for a team playing against a really good run offense. And the eagles for just the low scoring game. I also think the Titans will cover that I think they're like -5. 5 and a half, something like that. 5 and a half right now. I'm sorry, plus 5 and a half. I think they'll I think they'll also cover that, but I'm definitely taking the under for that game. Awesome. So we got Seattle rams under 41 Titans eagles under 44 and a half and Broncos ravens under 38 and a half. And now it's time for Ryan second. All right, did you know that blacking out from alcohol? Use. Doesn't cause you to lose memories. But rather your brain temporarily loses the ability to even create new memories during the blackout.

Tim Tebow Opens Up With a Fun and Odd Story About Cocoa Puffs

"His name is Tim Tebow, and it's always a joy to have him on the program. Tim, welcome back. I appreciate it. How you doing, man? I'm doing all right. You're always busy doing wonderful things. You have a new book out called the one year devotional mission possible. I love that title. It's a 365 day devotional of inspiration. You have always been an inspiring figure, even before you were saying very much publicly, just when you were playing college football, you have this desire in you to inspire people. And the first thing I want to ask you before we talk about the book is do you remember as a kid when that happened or were you always like that even as a little kid? Because that's just a beautiful value and I remember when I just knew you as somebody playing college football, I thought there's just something beautiful about somebody who actually cares to inspire other people that he hasn't met or maybe we'll never meet. Well, I think I had two amazing examples in my mom and my dad that actually influence was something that they talked about all the time with us that every day you have a chance to impact the people you're around and if God gives you a big platform or it gives you a small platform whatever it is we all have the chance to influence and I remember as a very young boy we were in public and we were walking by the Nile and I put in a bad cereal. I believe it was cocoa puffs and then a dad in his son came up and said, hey my son, he saw you and I was only a few years older playing sports, but I was still young and he saw you and you were his hero and he put cocoa puffs and I was like, oh man, I knew I just impacted him in a bad way because that's obviously not a good thing for you and my mom used it as a learning lesson is look. You know, you're only and I don't even remember I was young and before I was even in high school and I had influence and how it impacted people and she just always talk about the ripple effects of all of our decisions

"Right now the Giants are the 5th seed, 7 and four, Washington's 16, 7 and 5, Seattle's 7th seed, 6 and 5, and right now Tampa's not even in the playoffs, but they're 5 and 6. So they're right out. But it's funny that just how having Tom Brady because I agree with rob, I think I don't want to play Tom Brady in the playoffs. They look bad. Yeah, they do. I'm not saying like the eagle should be scared, but out of those four teams. The bottom four team is the NFC are so bad. When you compare that to the AFC, it's like Baltimore, which has Lamar Jackson, Cincinnati, went to the Super Bowl last year. The jets seem like they're doing pretty well. And then you have the Chargers who have Justin Herbert. So it's just, again, crazy how different the two leagues are right now. Oh, yeah. And back to your point, Ryan, with the giants. It says a lot because they're playing the commanders this week. They're home, but they're home dogs. Yeah. Two and a half point under dogs, so isn't it, isn't enough, what is the NFC east? Is that right? Yes. Every NFC east team would make the playoffs right now, but we're to end. That's correct. That's crazy. The one and then the 5, 6 and 7. Who would have guessed that? That is so bizarre. Every east team is about 500. NFC and AFC. That's kind of cool. You guys have anything for football before we do our confidence level ten? I wish beast from the east was the song title so we could have thrown that in there, but a lot of work nicely. Speaking of football, who do you guys think you're doing when the world cup? Oh, football. Oh, yeah. I think I've gotten pretty into the last two games for the USA. Saturday at 10 o'clock, we play the Netherlands. Look at that. I'm not going to pretend to know. I know much about the Netherlands, but the U.S. team is the second youngest team in the league or in the World Cup and they're at least they're fun to watch. Yeah, I know just about nothing about football or soccer, whatever you want to call it. But it is fun to watch the World Cup games and I heard we match up well with the Netherlands, so I was USA. Let's go. This I promise you. I'll at least be drinking some mimosas in washing the game. Nice. I don't know anything about soccer. So I'm just going to stay out of it. Why? Does it make you ill to watch?

Stanford Band Mocks LDS Beliefs

"Stanford band at Stanford University, the band. Stages controversial halftime skit during football game against BYU. A halftime performance during BYU football's visit to Stanford Saturday night. Is causing a stir on social media for its content, lampooning, latter day saint beliefs. The Stanford University band, mocked, LDS, Mormon beliefs. Why wouldn't they? They went to Stanford. Every elite university has at its core, a contempt for every expression of Christianity. I know that many Christians do not be Mormons, theologically Christian. I have no desire to enter that issue. But it would be a little odd to deny that a church calling itself The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, has no connection to Christianity.

"And that's on the player for making the mistake for lining up that way. A 100%. I know it. It sucks as fans that we didn't get to see, you know, the next drive to try to retake the lead, but yeah, you have to go. You don't think the ref has any. Time or ref should know the circumstances of the game and adjust how they call based on the circumstances of the game. Not one like that where it's like a player safety issue. Yeah. I think that's the biggest thing is these are penalties for reason for the safety of the players. If you don't call it, then who's going to then the next time someone's out there to be like, okay, I'm just going to jump over the center. Because they don't call the penalty. But you can't not call it. I don't want that call to turn into a judgment call, like you get with the ticky tack pass interference pattern. It's like, sure, I don't want to see that decide a game. The problem is it's so cut and dry. I just have to go back and watch it again because I watched the replay twice and to me it didn't even look bad. It looked like every other play. Except the center got knocked back on his butt and it's okay. It happens every single time. He lined up over the center too, did he not? Usually you're not allowed to line up over the center at all. Like you have to stay to the side. Maybe he didn't know he was over the center. As you guys are saying, the players can do. But I don't want to spend too much time on this, but I guess I don't want to it's disappointing when a game ends like that. But I don't want to I agree with you, but I don't think that the call should be different just because it's disappointing. Yeah, I'm going to tell you.

Matt Palumbo: Before Elon Musk, Twitter Favored Liberals

"Yeah I mean as I said earlier your Twitter was just sort of this mass liberal amplification your narrative amplification machine And there was a study done these other earlier this year or last year and they were looking at social media audiences or rather the kind of post that got promoted And they were going to say like based on that how liberal or conservative would it be if it was if it was an equivalent congressional district And basically what they found was that if Twitter was its own congressional district it would be more liberal than Vermont which is the most liberal state in the country So you can go to Vermont and you would actually live in a less liberal atmosphere than if you were someone who was getting their news from Twitter So that just kind of sets the stage for the kind of influence they had And there was this scandal in 2007 called the journalist scandal where it turned out there was hundreds of journalists politicians entertainers and when they go on TV and all about the same liberal narrative but it's not because they're all reading the same sources It's because they're literally in a group chat together coordinating this And if you are someone who's unfortunate enough to be on Twitter like I am you see it without even knowing there's a list You just see okay that guy basically cut and pasted his argument and changed two words around But it's very effective And it's to the point where even if you want to use the platform for a non political purpose like you sign up for it and say I want to get sports news Before the Elon Musk take over the kind of pose that would get promoted even if they were sports related there would be a political net angle to it So it would be like if you followed football you'd be getting ads complaining about Colin Kaepernick not playing or racism in the league Everything had to have a political subcomponent It's just the bus takeover that's kind of gone There's a lot of people who think right wing accounts are getting promoted but it's really just the left wing's not getting promoted in a more equal playing field So that's why

Packed Black Friday sports schedule

"AP sports I'm Tom Miriam. On Black Friday, the NBA and NHL were as busy as the shopping malls. 14 NBA games and 13 on the ice were played the day after both leagues were off for Thanksgiving. The Celtics added to their league leading record by beating searching Sacramento as Jason Tatum scored 30 with help from the Boston bench. I think when we might have been down for the end of the half of ten, he knows because of those guys came in and just changed the momentum. The bucks kept pace by beating the Cavaliers thanks largely to a 35, ten third quarter in which Bobby port has played a key role. Felt good for us overall as a basketball team, because it felt like we was playing books, basketball, for a chance. Victories also for the Lakers heat suns, warriors, nuggets, grizzly sixers pacers, rockets, thunder hornets, and the trailblazers in overtime over the Knicks. NHL, the bruins became the first team to win its first 12 home games in the season, as they beat the hurricanes three to two in overtime on David pasternak's gold. Big win for us, obviously, and coming from behind, you know, after Thanksgiving, the game is never easy, so it's good with. The devil's after having their 13 game win streak snap bounced back with a three one win in Buffalo. Other winners, the capitals penguins islanders red wings, Maple Leafs Canadians kraken jets, senators kings and lightning, with Braden points scoring too early goals. I think both teams were into it right away. It was nice to get a couple goals for us early. Pretty good jump on the game. I thought it was a fun game. World Cup soccer, the United States finished in a scoreless tie with England as coach Greg berhalter's young team had the better scoring chances. Prayers go on, sometimes out of sight, in high school football

"On this week's religion roundup, prayers go on, sometimes out of sight in high school football. In Jesus name, amen. Let's go. Pregame prayers have become a focal point after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled a Washington state public school coach how to write to prey on the football field. Since then, some speculated there would be more game day prayers. Confidence endurance. A recent AP North Pole shows a majority of American adults approve of the decision. In Michigan, football coaches like west bloomfield's Justin ivy found ways to make it voluntary. It was never a situation where we made anybody come and do it. We just did it. AP sports writer Larry lage says there was some pressure to increase the amount of prayer at games. One coach just outside of Detroit says several people in the community pushed him to use his platform and constitutional right to pray publicly, but Dearborn fordson high school coach fuad Saban says he chose to keep prayers behind closed doors to avoid potential anti Islamic jeers. I actually was flooded by calls and they were hoping that I would take advantage of the ruling and we would do our actual prayer out on the field. So but that's not the way we've operated forts and senior whiteout Hassan Chennai says his teammate support keeping their prayers in the locker room and away from the public. I think it's better private because I don't, you know, we don't know what everybody wants, but we're a team and we all agreed to this to the prayer and we have no problem with it. But we don't want to do it publicly because we don't know if people are comfortable with know what their opinions are about it. We just don't want anything, you know, any conflict with anybody else. High school junior Chris writes as the prayer strengthened the team's Bond. And it's okay to practice whatever religion you may practice when we all accept each other. It's kind of making it easier for us to be cohesive as a team. I'm Walter ratliff.

Tyler bass boots a 45 yard field goal with two seconds left as the bills hang on to beat the Lions 28 25 on Thanksgiving Day, passes heroics from 8 necessary after he missed an extra point late in the fourth quarter, which allowed Lions kicker Michael batchley to sign the game on a 51 yarder with 23 seconds left. Sometimes you do everything that you write and sometimes you just get unlucky. We got unlucky, but we have a great group of guys that support me and have my back and I was able to reset and focus on the next big. Josh Allen put bounced into position to win the game, orchestrating a 48 yard drive spurred by a 36 yard pass the Stefan Diggs. Bob Stephens was on hand to watch the cowboys host the Giants. The Dallas Cowboys rallied to defeat the New York Giants 28 20 on Thanksgiving, overcoming a 13 7 deficit with 21 unanswered points in the second half. Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy says the cowboys time of possession keyed the win. Excellent division win game we had to have and I love the fire team and really what tried to break their method. And one thing I'm talking about is controlling the ball was a big focus for us today. That Prescott threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns the Dalton Schultz, CD lamb caught 6 for one O 6, while Daniel Jones threw for two 28 in a touchdown for the Giants. In Minnesota Kirk Cousins finds Adam Thielen in the end zone with 9 34 left to give the Vikings a 33 26 win over the Patriots, it was cousins third scoring strike of the game, just a phenomenal catch by him. I thought that the way he's able to catch that football, keep his feet in bounds. It just says a lot about his ability. One of the things he does really well is his body control and he's just overall athleticism and he showed it there. A great play by him. "Especially the last few years with COVID and stuff, people have people are starting deals like online like at 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving. It's always fun to try to score some good deals. Who's your wraparound pick? Oh, that's right. I got another one, man. I'm slacking here. I'm gonna go with no, I don't know if it's always on Thanksgiving. Sometimes it's earlier, but I'll do setting up for Christmas time. I think once Thanksgiving's done, you're definitely into Christmas time. For me, it's even before sometimes, but I think that's the latest I would ever set up for Christmas. So we have our tree up as of right now. This is probably the earliest we've ever had it up, but I think typically we put it up the evening of Thanksgiving. So I think that counts. Yeah, it was on my list. Next pick for me is going to be that sweets after noon nap. After the after the food after that first football game, trying to get a nice hour nap in before the next game. Like Ryan really wanted that one. I know you're a NASA Ryan. Dude. I'm not a napper, so I was never taking that one, but I know you. I love my naps. I guess. I got two, right? The finish up here? Yep. Oh. Well, I'm gonna take cyber Monday. I don't do any Black Friday shopping personally. I always wait till the online deals cyber Monday, but like you guys said, they're kind of just like an all month thing now, but that and then. Let's go with the turkey trot. My man's in the shape running that 5 K yeah, I'm not doing it. You would have parade. That's right. I'm gonna go all football, everything football, which if I'm already watching football, then I need to do some backyard plane football. So I will do the family backyard football game. Nice. And the last pick of the draft for that too, right? Yeah. Yeah. All right, I know you guys don't do it, so I figured I'd just take it with my last pick. I'll take going hunting on Thanksgiving morning. Something I usually do every year, so

"Whoppers? Oh, those always come out in Halloween when they're disgusting. Dude, whoppers? No. I'll eat them, but they're not my go to. That's for sure. Milk builds are good though. I do like milk doughs. What's wrong with that caramel and chocolate? Yeah. It's simple, but it's good. Again, way too many milk duds in my day. Way too many cavities. How many candidates have you guys had? Tony, you don't have to answer. I can't even keep count. I'm on accounting root canals now. I think I had two and when I was a kid, but not in my adult teeth. Oh man, look at you. Look at you. It worked. Tony. Yeah. It's not good. All right, let's go over to some football talk. Ryan started us off last week. So again, this is whatever whatever comes to your mind. Over the course of the season or last week or college or draft or whatever you want to talk about, so rob, when I say football, what's the first thing that comes to your mind? Well, I've been thinking about fantasy football a lot and was wondering, have you guys made any trades recently? Kind of in trade season, right? Yeah. Well, I think by now you're supposed to know if you're a competitor. Or if you should be rebuilt or so. I feel like I'm rebuilding in every league that I'm in. So this is typically where I'd be selling my older guys and trying to acquire draft picks, only problem is I don't draft old guys, so I'm kind of in this weird way where I don't want to sell any of my young guys and I don't want to sell them for draft picks, so I feel like I'm just going to get those guys back with my draft picks. So I kind of feel like I did a terrible job this past year and like the couple startup drafts that I did

There's one going up right down the road, rob. You and I can go there sometime. Right by the way. I don't know how I didn't know that. Yep. I'm usually only ever buy them all on a Sunday, so. Well, only Sunday is you and I, rob, we're going to Chick-fil-A to get some fries, but they're not open on Sunday, right? You're right. That was why I said it. And they're not even open, so. Oh no. All right. Always the bills are on a bi week. This weeks of we're watching football, we get to watch some other teams. I usually watch when the bills aren't playing, I usually watch the red zone channel, which is cool. We'll get to watch all the highlights. If I'm watching TV, it'll be someone else checking in. "I lived in Texas for a while and I was the wider stever coach for the professional women's football team down there. The Austin outlaws. And I can tell you right now the coaching at that level, professional women's football. First of all, no one even knows that it's a thing, but it is. You don't know you don't have to know much. Those guys and girls didn't know much about I don't want to be mean, but they weren't like expert play callers. I'll tell you that. They had normal jobs, and then they would on the side, coach. Football. And that's the highest level. I guess you would expect the ones who were experts at it to be doing it at a different level, a higher level. Yeah. I mean, that was the highest level for women, though. That there is. And some of those dudes, some of those girls could ball. It was crazy seeing some of them out there. But yeah, the coaching play calling wasn't didn't take much. You guys have anything else on football? What comes to your mind? I do, but I'm going to save them for next week. I have a couple more questions, but I want to save them. All right. Last thing I'll say is I'm slowly falling and getting dragged behind the Jaguars bandwagon because they're letting me down every week. So we will go to the next segments, which is Ryan. All right, I've got the most difficult thing ever to talk about, let's see if I can get this across coherently rob. Rob just blink. Really? Is that this one? Really heavy like, oh God, he's going to do it. I forgot about this one, okay. So let me make this really simple. You might not be getting the Internet speeds that you think that you're getting. "And the Vikings have the same record as the bills right now. Which, guys, that's just weird. The Giants and the Vikings are 5 and one. The Vikings that are season previews. We were, I think we had the Giants winning about 5 or 6, so they've already matched our season total. Credit to Brian dabel, right? Yeah, I'm just curious, do you guys, I guess when I think of playoffs, do you think the Giants and the Vikings are two of the top tier NFC teams or do you think that they're just kind of locking out right now? I don't think the Giants offense good enough. I think the Vikings are a top contender. But the first thing I agree with rob said, but that makes me jump to the first thing. And I think of when I think of football this year, there's a lot of bad football. So if you're in okay team, you probably can be for and two and 5 and one right now because the quarterback play is horrendous. So if you have decent coaching and a decent defense, you can win games this year. You're not going to no one's going to pick you to win in the playoffs because you're going to run into hurts or fail in or mahomes or whoever, but actually teams with good quarterbacks. Yeah. But I don't know why. Why is the quarterback play so bad across the league right now? I don't know, but I just want to point out my first thing that came to mind was going to be Josh Allen and it kind of ties into this because his bills fans how spoiled are we to get to watch Josh Allen every week. Like how hard is it to go and watch some of these prime time games that are just the quarterbacking is terrible. If you're watching these games when you're spoiled with Josh Allen every week,

"White, very pretty white, not like the muddy white. Yeah, this is the most beautiful time of year in my opinion. And to be able to enjoy some apple cider. I love it. I've got two number ones since we're not doing just activities. The activities is just anything around football, whether it's going to NFL games, back in high school, going to high school games or something about that atmosphere, which is a lot of fun. But just in general, the weather, to me, shorts and quarter zip or shorts and hoodie weather. And having it be nice enough during the day, but cool enough during the night to have a bonfire and just sit out and relax is the best to me. Yeah, I had hoodie weather written down on my list here, but it didn't make my top three. I was going to mention it though. Yeah, a hoodie and shorts is like the perfect combo, even jeans, but it wasn't today though, man. You had to have gloves a hat, a winner. Oh yeah, no, for sure. You only get a couple of those days in fall here. Like late summer, we get hoodie weather. Yeah, no kidding. My number one is kind of two things. So I always associate fall with football season and hunting season, which are two of my favorite things there. So both of those always consume pretty much my entire weekends come fall. Yeah. My number one is I just have written down Thanksgiving. Halloween to me is whatever. I don't really care about Halloween. But Thanksgiving. You give me a chance to go pig out on a lot of really good food. I will take that once a year. I love it. Next week is Halloween week, right? Or I guess technically, it's the following week. But next week we'll be leading up to Halloween. So we'll have to do we'll have to rank our Halloween candy. Yes, definitely. All right, we are the ultra flex football podcast. So we will be jumping over to football and this is our typically some form of segment of whether it's going to be our takeaways or we've been doing some pretenders contenders this time we're just going to talk about football in general. Ryan, when I say the word football in the last two months of the football season, what's the first thing that pops in?

"Draft. Whoever you want, whatever you want. Obviously, you need to get at least one quarterback. That's the only position you have to grab. Right. But even if you want to get one, you don't have to necessarily have a second one. You just wouldn't have a biweek replacement. But again, it just comes back to the freedom to draft whoever you want whenever you want and have fun with it. And that's what fantasy football should be about. Absolutely. All right. We have two other ones. I'm going to go with one though. We're going to save another one for the next. Yeah, go ahead, Tony. I was thinking about his question there. And it made me kind of think it would be cool if the NFL adapted the fantasy portion of kicking, so how cool would it be if at the last two minutes of a game, if a 30 yard field goal between 30 and 30 9 yards was three points, 40 to 49 was four, and then 50, and so on and so forth. Because how many times is a game ruined by someone getting kneeling out the clock? When they're up by four, but it would be a lot more exciting if you could just kick a 55 yard field goal and potentially win the game. So I don't know. That would be pretty wild. It would be something. That would change the game completely. How long until NFL teams just start working out kickers like crazy to get him to kick like 70 yard field goals for 7 points or something. I don't know how far you go with it, but. Yes, that'd be so you think the game would never be over. There'd be, and there would be no more like four minute drive or whatever it is. Think about where you turn the ball over on a miss 70 yard field goal too. And think about setting up a kicker because one yard there makes a lot of difference. So there's a lot of strategy that goes into that. But all right, sorry, go on. All right. You out of your dream land now? Okay, here we go. That was cool though. It would be interesting. So I'm going to go, I'm going

"Oh, I forgot to do my honorable mentions too, since Anthony did those first. I love the golf beer as well. I think that's I mean, you can't really beat that. When else can you crack a beer at ten in the morning and then not feel bad about it? Where else can you legally drink and drive? That too? Are you supposed to? Is that like, is that okay? To have a beer while you drink or while you're driving a golf cart. Okay, I don't mean, are you supposed to drink beer and drive a golf cart? I mean, is it okay to do that? I've never even thought to ask. I don't think it says anywhere not to do that. Does it? If it does, I've missed that. I don't know. What's this be clear? We are not at all advocating to drink and drive. No, definitely not. Unless you're on a goal. And if you're drinking a beer or a hole or even like a beer rabbit, you holes, then make sure you're not driving home. Or in my case, if you have a beer while you're playing golf, then you can't drive home. All right, so my second honorable mention was the 1 p.m. Sunday beer for football season at honestly, I didn't think of it that way when I was doing this list, but once you set it, I was like, oh yeah, that could have fit really anywhere on my list. Up to maybe even number one. But number two on my list, I had tailgate beers, whether that's for any sporting event, I mean bill's tailgates, you can't beat them. Love a cold beer to build tailgate. Or even a concert tailgate. For beers. What's special about a bill's tailgate is you get to drink some beer and then get thrown through a table. So or throw someone through a table or throw some or get covered and catch up and mustard. Or all the above. Makes for a good Sunday. Or maybe a Monday night. Bill's Titans week two. Let's go Titans. And to round out my top three, which for me is my favorite beer, just hands down, no doubt about it. The grilling beer. I love the grill. And I love to have a beer in my hand while I grill. It just goes perfectly together, whether you're flipping some burgers or dogs, making a steak, the beer is

I mean, I don't even know what we're talking about. All right, you're overruled. The quarterback is the great white. The great white. He's the leader of the leader of our shark football team. We're going to go with the interior offensive line is the whale shark. So guards and center. We're going to have a massive interior and free will sharks for the interior. I like this. And the tackles men I'm going bull sharks because they just feed. Those things are mean. I want my tackles to be mauling out there. Although that's usually a guard thing, but I want them out there fast and I want them bruising people. Now when we do give it to the hammerhead shark, we got this whole sharks on the outside to open up the creases. I like it. We got to get one goblin shark out there just 'cause it sounds right in, baby. It's just a goofball out there running routes doesn't know what it's doing, goblin shark. There it is. I know absolutely nothing about a goblin shark, but weird. Yes. Okay. Yeah, it's just mean and ugly. Well, maybe it's nice and ugly. I don't know. But there you go, ugly. Ryan threw it out there. The ugly. Sorry, goblin. The only other ones I know are like the coral reef shark and the friendly. The cat shark and is there like a lemon shark or something? A little lemon shark. Didn't you say you said there was like a cat shark, right? I said cat shark, and then there's like a real little one. The real little one is the dwarf. The dwarf. Dwarf shark. But we don't want them on our football team, but I was just, yeah, I mean, I wouldn't mind having them at wide receiver. You know, you get those little slot receiver for a dwarf shark. Rondell Moore type. Yeah. Yeah. Are Calvin Austin? That name again. You better go buy him somewhere. I have them in every league that I'm in a dinosaur. You got to dread a few more leagues so you can buy more Kelvin Austin shares. I'm doing a couple of startups this year. I need to do a few more startups. I'm going to add that to the to do list here. All right. Well, there you have it, folks. We have our shout out to shark week. And we hope we didn't offend any shark lovers out there. Hope we did a good job. I'm sure it may be people who know more about sharks are like, you're an idiot. This would clearly be a better quarterback. How many podcasts out there have made a football team out of sharks before? I don't know, but I also just realized that we never used the thresher shark, and I feel like really sad. So I'm gonna throw him in at full back when he comes in. We could have him as our maybe our other wide receiver too. Yeah, there we go. Oh, yeah. If he's 20 feet long, I mean, it's like a lot of few wide receivers. He can be our red zone weapon. All right, I appreciate that, guys. Thank you for helping me get him in there or her. Maybe we'll post these results on our Twitter page and see what people say. Good transition again. "To the ultra flex fantasy football podcast where we have fun with our friends while we talk about football. I finally said it. I've hadn't said that for the last couple times. I'm your host, Anthony Sutton, with me, as always, are my Friends. Ryan Wheeler. Hey. And rob green. What's up? How are you guys doing? Ryan, how is your week going so far? Good. I had a day off and I think we're off to the right foot. You came in strong. And we didn't mess up our hellos. So I'm feeling pretty good about this. Very strong start today, I think. We should just wrap it up right now because it's definitely get worse. Training camp started, we've got, we're going to start off with around the league. We got a bunch of stuff going on. Some of its important, some of its camp news. Some of it's just reporters trying to get a little clickbait. So we'll try to figure out which is which first I would say the biggest news for fantasy and probably just the league in general. We kind of knew that this was coming, but Trey Lance has been announced as the QB for San Fran. So rob, what's your first instant takeaway from that? He's officially QB one and everybody out there who's been screaming for it, got their got their wish. I think fantasy wise that kind of takes away some of the question marks that we had as to if he was going to actually start come week one. We don't got to worry about Jimmy G taking that spot now, so we always up on the trail Lance train. Guys, I'm really disappointed. My take, my hot take in episode two. I don't know if you guys remember, but it was Jimmy. Wow, Jimmy Graham, that ain't right. Jimmy Garoppolo is going to start week one for the forty-niners. Jimmy. I don't feel too good about that. What's that? I said, Jimmy Graham is a Jimmy G to be fair. I didn't even say it. I didn't even say it yet. My brain was just like, you're saying Jimmy Graham, and I was like, I guess I'm saying Jimmy Graham. I got to go through with it now. "One O one. Gentlemen, I'm excited. Ryan what? Are you most looking forward to with this podcast? Looking forward to talking some football with my buddies and hoping that if anyone takes our advice that we help them with some championships, maybe even some money. Awesome. Rob, what about you? I am looking forward to talking some fantasy, talking some football, talking whatever else comes up. Having some fun. And hopefully sharing some knowledge and gaining some knowledge. Let's do it. That's my favorite F word, fun. That's what we're here for. Let's have some fun. We've been friends now for 20 years and we've been playing fantasy football for probably ten or 12 years of that. And we started playing fantasy when it was non PPR, one quarterback, two receiver, three tight end, one quarterback, two running back, three receivers, one tight end, and then defense and a kicker. And over the last few years, that's seen a lot of changes to super flex leagues, PPR, tight end premium, and we have enjoyed together playing the leagues that involve the most flex positions. So the name of our podcast ultra flex fantasy is not just saying that Ryan is going to flex into the camera, the entire time. That is saying that our league is full of flex positions. So our standard team is going to be one quarterback, 8 flex positions, which is going to be a running back wide receiver or tight end. So it's positionless. And then we also have one super flex. So the majority of the teams in our league will be starting two quarterbacks and then a mix of 8 players. It could be 8 running backs, could be 8 receivers, could be 8 tight ends. And we also have a one and a half tight end premium. So that gives the tight ends a little bit extra value. Ryan, is there anything else you want to add on the ultra flex format that we have? I mean, I just like the freedom, man. I like the freedom of being able to take 8 wide receivers if that's what you want to start. I mean, you could draft the whole team of wide receivers. Obviously you're going to want a couple quarterbacks because it's super flex that we're talking, but and maybe those high end tight ends, but

The conference of champions. We all know that. And the other two commissioners they would have been far more diplomatic with their answers in that press conference the other day. Go back and watch it. They would have been far more to diplomatic and he just comes out and says it. You know what we want to make the most money and we want to compete. And we won't stop the super. Sec or at least compete with them to get all the money that we can. We don't want them when. I've got about them documentary. Espn and the sec. To basically just run away with money we don't want that any flat out distended he stated and you know what could for them. So i'm going to be very interested to see how this affects the two major sports how this affects snarly football but college basketball as well because honestly in college athletics but two major sports. Anybody worry about is called for ball and called basketball. That's just plain and simple building to sports that make the most money for their programs. So when you look at college football and college basketball you see a lot of opportunity with the acc. The pac twelve and big ten three of the biggest power five conferences out there when it comes to college. Athletics combining and joining the super team. This could smell trouble for the sec. But you know what when it comes to college football. This game worried the. Sec is not worried but they should be. They should be because three against one even. Especially if you bring in oklahoma and texas for your super. Sec is still going to be fighting for a lot regarding recruiting regarding espn scheduling television scheduling and most importantly eyeballs. Most importantly people watching their games. Like i mentioned before if you get that. Twelve o'clock window and you're the sec. And you got a game. Like i dunno texas versus lsu for example when that supremacy finally joins together. We get texted. I want to thirty okay. Most people are gonna watch that game. Most people are gonna watch those games because a it's two major historic football conferences and football programs coming together. Battling it out in the but then again they. Sec is going to have trouble. They're going to have competition if the superlight forms finally. Because we've you have texas for zealous. You people are gonna watch that they just are especially if the twelve thirty shift but if you tell me that you can get another program another tv company that says hey you know let you have lsu and texts over there but we also have over here. Clemson and usc ha. Now we're talking now. We're talking because if you can give me clemson in usc or washington and ohio state. Now we're talking 'cause if you can give me any other type of big time football game that breaks out in that spot within that area of the twelve thirty window to compete with the people are gonna watch and that's the most important thing that everybody needs to know in college football. The most important thing that all these administration experts all these called football analysts say called. Football is all about making money and they see this expansion and this planned expansion coming up and they see money grab and the alliance wants to get a part of it. They just don't want scc and they don't want the espn television networks like espn two. Espn three nbc. They they don't want espn as a whole just to basically have a stranglehold on the sec. The super assisi and the television rights that television window on saturdays. They don't want that. They want a fair game for all they basically just say. Hey we know the sec's formula super lions divided. Our conferences can not beat them. If we keep on battling either for the time slots and fort recruiting. We're not gonna be able to beat them. We're gonna wither away but together. We have a chance because not only. Are we going to put the best games on at all times. We're going to give them a run for our money and we're going to give them a run for their money and you know what we're going to use our best our strengths against their strength and together. We can defeat this super sec. And i'm excited about. I truly am if there if it's true if what they say is true when it comes to scheduling. Oh i would love to see games on saturdays. Where you see. Clemson versus organ or ohio state versus usc or washington versus michigan. I'm talking about big time. College football programs already top ten programs going at it in different conferences. so i'm super excited for college football. We we i mean. Go football tomorrow. People august twenty eighth. So if you're super excited we got six five games of college football now. Not not big time names but there's some pretty good gangs nebraska illinois hawaii. Ucla san jose state southern utah. If you into the mountain west but coach football is finally back. Good excited. I'm excited to see how it's going to play out. I'm excited. see the you know the pageantry. "Are foreign. Why that is what we talk so so much about it. One of the other interesting scenarios of course is how. It affects a potential playoff expansion. Here's what the commissioner said the pac twelve it's unfortunately likely to delay approval of a cfp. Expansive plan i think there's going to be a realignment fallout. We have to get through before we understand what format for an extended. College football playoff works best for all of college football. And that's interesting to me ryan because it looks like a foregone conclusion therefore hot minute that we would go to twelve teams. So what do you think happens when when we revisit the plan for playoff expansion of still sooner than later and listen people a lot more dialed in heatherton doubt into the playoffs situation than i am have said that yes. It's going to slow this down a little bit. It's still gonna move faster than it was three months ago and at the end of the day the motivation for all of this is money in the wallet and at the end of the day. The reason that you expand the cfp yes. You can say it's parody. Yes you can say us including the reality is it's about making more cash and so whatever you're not gonna take the longest road to get to that cash you're gonna take the shortest and so it might not be as short as it was going to be but it's still going to be that long. Yeah ryan i agree with you. At the end of the day like the all these schools everybody is all about making money and right now in the short term. I think yeah you might have some people that are in that committee who are looking at greg. Sankey little funny because it's like. Hey you were having those meetings about expanding your conference at the same time. We were trying to expand the playoff. We're going to try to slow this down for a little bit. But then they're also remember. Hey if we do slow this down. That's less money for us. You know in the short term so this is ultimately. I think still going to happen sooner rather than later. But there's definitely going to be some salt air from some of the other people involved in that process. Listen gentlemen the bigger the pie. The bigger the slice and in general. Everybody likes that so ultimately that's what will went out here. And i agree ryan with you that this will. This will still say on the fast track. Maybe maybe so it down a little bit but not a whole lot okay. let's hear. Shall we talk about the upcoming season. It's about that time we'll start looking ahead weeks one right around the corner. We'll have more on that coming up as we get set for the twenty twenty one college football season..
