Legendary New York journalist Pete Hamill dies at 85

"A moment to recognize the death of Pete Hamel as the New York Times put it, the quintessential New York journalist he died at age 85. The first paragraph is kind of perfect of his obit from the Times. Pete Hamill, a high school dropout who turned a gift for storytelling, a fascination with characters and a romance with tabloid newspapers into a storied career is a New York journalist. Los Angeles - California health officials release guidance on elementary school waivers for in-person instruction

"California health officials have released guidelines for elementary schools to seek waivers, allowing them to offer classroom instruction in the midst of the Corona virus pandemic. The officials say some public and private schools and 38 counties on the state's Corona virus watch list can seek waivers from local health officials if they have plans for keeping students and staff safe and meet certain criteria. KP phase Christina Honest and reports the vast majority of public private and charter elementary schools in California will need permission to resume in person instruction. The school year and applies to school is located in one of 38 counties on the state's Corona virus Watch list due to increasing infections. Those schools can re open if they meet with parents and faculty and update their site Specific safety plan to meet specific criteria. State epidemiologist Dr Erica Pan describes what that criteria is they will want to be a short of the site specific plan has a lot of detail about how they're going to make sure that kids are in code words. Which is small, stable groups that are not mixing with other groups. But their safety plans in place for health screening checks or face evidence. For all that. I have strict discovering requirements to confine their state public health requirements room thinks and many other things in place that there Planning and prepared to respond for any cases of 19 kindergarten through sixth grade schools must also comply with guidance from the state and Centers for disease control. Then they can apply for a waiver through their local public health officer to resume and person instruction. Those waivers on Ly apply for kindergarten to sixth grade because health officials say those students are less likely than older Children to become infected or transmit the Corona virus. But schools and counties that have had 200 cases of Corona virus per 100,000 people over two weeks should not apply for a waiver. 14 counties in the state are in that category, including Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino, with several others just below that threshold. L. A School district is the nation's second largest, with nearly 735,000 students. It's already announced it will start the school year with only distance learning in two weeks. A district announced it'd hammered out a tentative agreement with its teachers union on how distance learning will be carried out, which includes set school hours online. The district also plans for providing at least some classroom instruction if it receives a waiver.

Election Officials Declare Winners in Two New York Democratic Primaries After Federal Judge Finds Voters Disenfranchised

"Of Election certified the results of the June 23rd primary earlier today. It comes one day after a federal judge issued an order directing board of elections across the state. To re examine their absentee ballot totals to consider votes tossed out for missing a postmark as long as they were received by June 25th. It's just the latest twist in New York's pandemic primary, which saw a tenfold increase in the number of absentee ballots, compared to 2016. Joining us now W. N Y City Hall and politics reporter Bridget Bergen Ridge it let's start with what happened today. The Board of Election certified the results of a primary that took place six weeks ago. That means they finished counting. But why did it take so long? Jamie, You said it right there that we saw that tenfold increase in the number of absentee ballots. People really were taking advantage of this expanded absentee ballot system that Governor Cuomo Did through executive order because of the pandemic, and then the counting process associated with it was very methodical. You know. Absentee ballots can be rejected for a lot of reasons. Missing signatures were among the biggest issues, but Another issue. We first reported here at WNYC and Gothamist was related to ballots invalidated for missing postmarks. Two candidates and 14 voters sued the state Board of Elections and Governor Cuomo, arguing that voters were being disenfranchised through no fault of their own due to missing postmarks. Absentee ballots needed to be postmarked by June 23rd and arrive at the board of Elections by June 30th to count and there was a big decision in that case late last night. Give us a quick overview of that lawsuit. Last week, there was a two day evidentiary hearing where witnesses testified about how the Board of elections handled this flood of absentee ballots and how the United States Post office process them. Some of what we learned was pretty shocking. Like the fact that the Board of elections dropped off more than 34,000 ballots to the post office to mail to voters the day before the primary. That meant voters would need to get that ballot in the mail on June 23rd rushed to a post office box before five if they had any chance of mailing it with a postmark. To make it eligible. And beyond that, there was evidence introduced that showed that more ballots in Brooklyn were invalidated for missing postmarks than in any other borough. Wow. Then tell us more about the ruling issued last night. So Judge Annalisa Torahs presided over this case in the southern district. She found the plaintiff's arguments more persuasive that ballots were in fact treated differently in different parts of the city. She ordered the New York State Board of Elections to direct all local boards to count otherwise valid absentee ballots, missing postmarks as long as they were received by June 25th 2 days after the primary. She also criticized the state's argument that it didn't intentionally disenfranchise voters where they basically pointed to failures by the post office and tried to place the blame on them. She wrote quote. The Constitution is not so toothless. When voters have been provided with absentee ballots image assured that their votes on those ballots will be counted. The state cannot ignore a later discovered a systemic problem that arbitrarily renders those ballots invalid. What does it mean Bridget that the city Board of Election certified the election results? Isn't that a violation of the judge's order? Well. The city also directed its staff in each borough to prepare to count the ballots that qualify under the judge's order. And they said, they're just awaiting direction from the state Board of elections to go ahead and do that. Okay, so assuming the order stands, could it change the outcome of any Racists? You know, is one of the plaintiffs lawyers, Remmy Green said at a press conference this morning. We don't know what we don't know yet certainly one of the plaintiffs Raj Patel, who is a candidate in New York's 12th Congressional District, which covers parts of Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. He's hopeful that this will help because he's currently trailing Carolyn Maloney abi about 3700 votes, but at this point, it's not really clear there are enough votes to change that race. However, there could be other races and other parts of the state that we don't know about. And one of the plaintiff interveners in this case, Maria Coffer who ran for District leader AA position in Queens. She only lost two City council member Karen Causal. It's by about 100 boats, so we'll see if there's anything that changes their 100 votes. Wow. What was the reaction from the State Board of Elections have they signaled any plans to appeal? So I have yet to hear from anyone from the State Board of Elections or the New York Attorney general's office who is representing the state. In this matter. I will note that one of the attorneys for the plaintiffs basically warned the state and governor Cuomo against appealing. Here's attorney, Ali Nagy. Me. Governor Cuomo. Your legacy is on the line. If you will peel this, you'll lose in the appeal, and you will be another second round suppressor votes, and that is not what the governor needs. Now, if the state did appeal, obviously, that matter would go before the Court of Appeals, and it's worth noting. Earlier this summer, this same judge Analisa Torres ruled against the state Board of elections. In another election law case, she overturned their decision to cancel the Democratic presidential primary. That case went before the Court of Appeals and her ruling stands.

Huge explosions rock Beirut, killing and wounding dozens

"Huge explosions have hit the Lebanese capital, Beirut, reports say. At least 10 people have been killed, The health minister said. There'd been a very high number of injuries and widespread damage. Videos from the scene in the port area showed smoke rising from an initial blast in a much bigger explosions that appeared to engulf several nearby buildings. One witness told the BBC. The blast was so big he thought he was going to die hard. He lives in the area and was in a taxi at the time. Suddenly I lost my hearing for a few seconds. I knew something was wrong. And then suddenly that the glass is shattered all over the car. The car's around us. The shops, the stores, the buildings, just glass going down from all over the buildings. I instantly thought it was an assassination attack. It was loud. It was very, very loud. Firefighters are tackling numerous places. It's not yet clear what caused the explosion. Some local reports suggest it could have been an accident at a fireworks storage warehouse. Sebastian Usher is following events. The videos and images not just of the massive cloud of smoke erupting in Beirut that the damage and devastation it's cause kilometers away have caused a new wave of shock and anxiety in Lebanon. It is already teetering on the brink of a catastrophic economic cops. Just hours before the blast. Antigovernment protesters have been scuffling with security forces outside the Ministry of Energy, demanding yet again accountability from the country's leaders. There have been grave warnings of hunger in the streets or reigniting of sectarian conflict if the economy worsens.

Possible VP Pick Susan Rice Says She Can Handle Pandemic

"Rice is one of a handful of women on Joe Biden's short list for a running mate. She told us she is the right fit for the job. Yes, I think I could bring my experience of almost now. 20 years in the senior levels of the executive branch to bear to help tackle the most pressing problems we face. And while this would be the first time she would campaign for herself Ambassador Reiss told our co host Steve Inskeep that she's ready for him. Regardless of your experience in government, a big part of the vice presidency or seeking the vice presidency is campaigning, of course, which is not something that you've had a lot of experience doing. Do you have any eagerness to to campaign? Well, Steve. Yes, I've not run for office on my own behalf, but I've run for office on other people's behalf, where I did actually quite a bit of retail politics and speaking to groups of people. But I think unfortunately, in the current context with the pandemic, this will be quite an unusual campaign. If you were in office, you would face the fundamental problem of trust in government or lack of trust in government that is playing out. Now, Many people are refusing to wear facemasks. It seems evident from surveys that many people would think the same way about a vaccine once it's available. What would you do about that? Well, I think that's a huge challenge. And we have had vaccines many in many stages in our history. Still, today, Children need certain vaccines to be able to go to school. And I think that we're gonna have to take a similar approach that you know for kids to be able to go back to school and in Whatever jurisdiction they ought to be vaccinated and the localities ought to consider also requiring the people in the household with the Children to be vaccinated for the very reason that's obvious that this is You know, something that affects the entirety of the community. I want to ask about a couple of foreign policy problems that any administration would face on January 20th 2021 1 of them is deteriorating U. S relations with China. Now I know you've been critical of the way that President Trump is approached China. But at the same time, there are foreign policy experts across the spectrum, who said China's a problem? We don't know how to confront China. Maybe it's time for a confrontation with China. Would you want to roll back U. S relations with China to the way they were in 2016? Steve. No. I don't think you can roll back the clock on any critical issue to 2016. The world has changed and we have to deal with the world as it is. But having said that my criticism is Based predominantly on the fact that we have approached the challenge the China poses economically and strategically in isolation rather than in partnership with our allies in Asia and Europe. You know, instead of, for example, approaching our concerns about trade and economic policy, collectively with our European and Asian partners, who share many of those same concerns, and who Joining with us could add to our collective pressure on China to change its policies and approaches. We started separate trade battles with our closest allies. If you've got more partners behind you, is there some value in a confrontation with China? Well, if by confrontation you mean is it smart for us to start a hot war? I think absolutely not. No. But what about in other ways, diplomatically or otherwise? Well, diplomatically. Sure. First. What we don't need to seek confrontation for its own sake. We need to be strong and smart in how we compete with China. And push back on China's policies on the economic and the security front that threaten our interests. We also should be speaking up vocally and and forcefully about China's egregious human rights abuses from How it treats the Uighurs to the people of Hong Kong. It's common to say that a lot of the divisions of the last few years are merely highlighting what was already there. You could say that President Trump talks the way that a lot of Americans talk and believes what a lot of Americans believe, which is why millions of people voted for him. For example, it is often said that the pandemic Has struck the most vulnerable communities because they were vulnerable over a long period of time that we're just having American society exposed in a different way. Do you believe that? Well, I believe that What the pandemic has done is show how much disparity there is among Americans from a socioeconomic point of view and to a large extent of racial and ethnic point of view, And you know if it wasn't obvious to people before it, it ought to be now. But I don't think that that is the same thing is the first part of your question, which is To suggest that you know, all Donald Trump has done is shined a spotlight on some of the underbelly of our society. I don't think that's right. I think Americans at the end of the day Are not people who like to hate and to fear one another. Do you feel that you understand the roughly 40% of Americans who approve of the job the president is doing. I do think I have a good understanding. Maybe not a perfect understanding in part, Steve, because, as I write in my book, I have a 23 year old son whom I love dearly, whose politics are very, very different from my own, and from the rest of our family. Talk more about that. What are his politics? Ah, you know, I have a very conservative son in a very progressive daughter. They're both wonderful, intelligent. Passionate, committed kids. My son and I will have some robust disagreements are over some matters of policy. Not all. And yet at the end of the day. I love him dearly, and he loves me. As there have been an issue where he is almost persuaded you that maybe you're wrong. Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure there is And you know the thing is, and I read about this in in the book. In the last chapter. I write about the areas where we agree. And the areas where we disagree, So we agree, for example. On the importance of the United States, playing a responsible principle leadership role in the world. We agree on the importance of having strong alliances. You know, we disagree. On things like, Ah, choice. I'm pro choice. He's pro life. That's the kind of difference that we oughta be able to respect. Ambassador Susan Rice. It's a pleasure to talk with. Thank you, Steve

"I'll do let's be real. Actually lives bad. You do slow some time, because there was a couple of other things I think we should talk about then if you go for it, okay? So one thing that I really interesting is that sometimes we've put up a couple of episodes in a row where you and I are very clearly like not having it right. We're just so frustrated by the whether there was a delay that weekend or whatever the case may be. And so a couple times every now and then someone would be like you guys are really negative the last few episodes, what the fuck and we, you know, we always say, like, well we're just, you know sharing on his thoughts and opinions. And I think that going forward, that's something that, like I wanna see reflected like in the whole scene. Right. Like if someone is feeling down don't like I don't I understand that. You don't agree with every single opinion that someone else says and. Completely find. You're completely allowed to speak up. Right. And you should speak up. But I think that if somebody is feeling down our I kind of instinct, as humans, isn't it shouldn't be like, stop being so negative, bro. It should be more like let's unpack while you're feeling down because a lot of times, and we've seen this not to, like, not gonna name, drop people or whatever they, it's their stuff. But we've seen stuff on Twitter where like people in the scene. I've talked about stuff, like mental health and some people have even gone as far as to try to take their own lives, and it's not as simple as as. You guys are being so negative about the game stop being so negative. It's in a way reflection of where we're at mentally. Sometimes it's only about the game, sometimes it's not only about the game but in a show or for any content creator, right? If they're having a moment where you think they're off for some reason. Like, please, please, please, I encourage you to reach out and talk to them as opposed to just being like you're being negative. I'm going to unsubscribe because if somebody is experiencing troubles like that. Right. It's. It's probably not just the game. Like, let's be realistic, right? Like if a concentrator that is directly speaking to you, if you can, if you as the fucking fan of that concentrator detected something is wrong. Please reach out to them. You know, maybe they don't wanna talk about it. But I think that, especially in the fetus seen what we need is a bit more discussion and a little bit less like reaction because it's very easy for us to be like fuck this fuck, that I'm not a fan of this or this is the greatest fucking thing ever. Right. But we need to have a bit more discussion, which is one of the reasons why you and I started this podcast so we can talk about things like this specifically about the game. But that's what I was saying before I really like how eloquently you can communicate everything. It's very clear and all your videos, and I really wanna like, encourage everyone to feel like they can do that as well. Even if like your favorite concentrator doesn't respond to you. They will see it, but I just want to encourage more people to. Just talk to each other, as opposed to just react in a positive or negative way. Because I think at the end of the day talking to each other is like the first step towards getting anything done that, just my thoughts, though. Yeah, I know. I couldn't agree more. There's always ourselves. We're no exception to it through. It's not like we were having the perfect lives. And at the same time playing what we thought were some of the worst rations of faith. You know, they would've should've give me fired. Okay. They we wouldn't have joined the game play regardless of if we won the lottery for three billion fuck in euros at home or whatever, you know, like, but there were many times that on top of the delay on top of you know, you're struggling because you wanna make content on a game. And you just you like, why, why am I playing in delay and then myself I'm playing in delay. And I had us brations, and I still do, but we'll see two to play competitively, and it's not going well, because I don't I generally don't believe and as shown them videos that I'm failing because of, you know, obviously, I have my own faults, but mostly I can see the falls in the game. And so you get crushing it down. And then to see people complain about you complaining. I understand, you know, you wanna listen to something. Cheerful and I worked on it as well. But at the same time, it's ironic that your reaction about a complaint is complaining, you know, instead of like you know, hopping on the disc or trying to have a conversation. Of me, you know, trying to show me your aside, then we can come to a compromise which I ended up getting to compromise with a lot of the people who had these complaints, but I often found myself having the one to respond really calmly to calm them down about being about me, not being called like the irony. It's unreal. And, and a lot of people need to like you said, they should they should do that. There's too much assumptions like I posted a tweet the other day as a joke. It'd be funny, if we used to have weakened leagues us eleven Bundesliga player this weekend in seventeen. Right. As a joke. I said, it'd be funny if we had a weakened league where you can't use Lekra Catta and that'd be like, oh my God. Imagine the panic and people's eyes and the first one, we asked him by somebody right was like a longtime listener of savage responded. He was like laughing in laughed at the someone came in saying, you're just assuming that those who get high ranks wouldn't because of lack Rakhat does. And I'm like, no, you came in saying, these things I said, nothing about anyone changing, like, are you hurt yourself that I said, this, because you Lekra Catholic was happening. You know, so we need to stop, not everything. That's tweeted is a sub tweet to offend someone else. You know like. And if it is don't respond with another slide comet because you never get down to the point, you just both beating around the Bush to do to try and trigger someone else rather than just being straight up and being, like I have a problem with this. This is this is why why and why and then the prison can answer. Oh, no. You're just misunderstanding. This is what I meant. Okay. Cool. You move on, not this whole like Lamaud this law that and make lake a passive aggressive statement. And it would Lamaud just so to show that you're not really triggered like no stop. Yup. Fucking people. We're both on, you know, naive. We know that, that's how the internet works. It's really easy to react through easy to get that, like split-second dopamine release when reacting quickly, so we're not out here being like you guys suck. We're not saying that we're not out here being like let's change the world. Let's change the internet, man. You know we're not things stuff like that. We're, we're not. We're not fools what we are saying is that specifically in the fief ASEAN, we wanna see. More conversations and hopefully get why somebody wants to complain about somebody else complaining because the amount of complaining that happens in any video game community. You know you've seen it yourself. So, but again, I just like we both like we love discussion, and we want to promote discussion and we both. Well, I'm speaking on your behalf. But correct me if I'm wrong. But we both believe that discussion between two parties whether they agree or not is a very powerful thing and maybe won't lead to change to change someone's opinion on the spot, but at least you'll have a good talk. Right. You'll build a relationship with somebody, and I think that in the fief seen we need to build more relationships like people need to build more relationships with each other because. Memes, a great, I love memes, but we can't just have memes and then complaining about complaining, because at the end of the day, if that's all that it is online, then we're always going to feel down. When we when we log into a Twitter or read it. Yeah. Yeah. For sure, I guess, just so to add on, so we don't sound like super preachy, and I'm not here tale telling people look, I'm doing it myself act like me do this. I'm literally struggling with that myself. I need to stop myself, so many times because I used to do the whole passive aggressive bullshit on Twitter. And I'm trying to stop myself from doing it. There's a time in place for it when it's like not serious. Right. But if I see a tweet, I need to, like, so many times, I'll write a reply, and then I'll delete it because I'm thinking, what are you doing, dude? Why you like take a chill reread? It understand that it's not a sub tweet about you understand. The no one's out to get you understand this. Like I struggled with it. Right. Don't take it personally, if you want to respond with an opposing opinion, do it. In the right way. So, like I literally struggled with it. And the important thing is just knowledge in it. Right. And then obviously I slip up. We also up, so like we're all human. But just knowing it can stop, so many useless, like senseless debates that lead to nothing other than to people triggering each other. It's a circle jerk when that happens. Right. That's what the term is. And the funniest part. I know that the second this goes up like south. Bucked the second before the show, even like before the person gets to this part of the show, somehow they'll tweet your she'll. Just like, oh, okay. Well, whatever. That's fine. But like you can't change everyone's minds and we're not trying to change minds. We're just trying to encourage discussion because that's the way forward. Yeah. And as everyone knows, you know, we are the two smartest people on the planet and we're the deeply intellectual brick and mortar fans that can't understand everything. So you should listen to us. And now it does the greatest animal. We. Dude. So what are we starting? Anime. FM. Did. When you watch now to an acknowledge it, I've, I've read more Nardo than you've watched. That's not possible. I washed all of it. Shit. I read really slowly, I don't know. Delated did why I watched it twice brackets start putting shocking show for somebody like sticking laugh at the end instead of cry that the show is going on hiatus, which it is sadness. Yeah. Anything anything else you want to chat about or should we say off and come back? Point in the future. I think we just we embrace the sailing off. And we hope that we come back strong as dragon ball super did. Some day. I was going to say, we don't even need tro because of how perfect that was. But then you said someday rented because I'm not getting this episode. Did. Thank you. Everybody's so much for listening to this show and for interacting with us, it's really meant a lot on..

"But if you want to do you're relaxing, go right ahead for fuck sake. I think that just because the show is going on hiatus. It doesn't mean that the two of us are stopping and everyone that subscribed. Right now, if you're not following Valeria you absolutely a thousand percent shit on Twitter. And if you're not keeping up with me, either you like two thousand percent. I was like, I'm joking there. But like for sure we're not stopping we're gonna continue what we're doing. I'm always transitioning to working on the game, but you're going to continue your content it's only going to get even better. I know you and I have talked about some of your kind of early plans for twenty and I'm sure it's going to be litmus, litmus. That's what the kids say. Open my slang. Get shutout to Nellie chapters Alassio everyone. That was a part of this show shut out to all of our great guests. You know, we have we've had Kurt on this show as well. We've had kind of like. A sample of everybody in the community. You know, guys like Mike guys like japes guys like like like folks from the hash tag team at the time as well. Which was great Ryan Bullock, pro players like so many, it's been it's been a lot of you know, in recent times leave because it's a two man show. We've kind of not done, as many yes spots, but for a while there, we were bringing in guests regular like a duck quacks like. Man, I think you me was there as well. Right in the chemo, Charlotte. Remember, all of our guests, which is along. This guy sports TV presenter. Oh my God. Yeah. I'm Blake Ulan is they also sorry fuck. It was out, like we had Lou Zimmerman as well from foot head. No, the Sky Sports guy was lucrative. Lucky? I'm so sorry. I q. This is literally years ago, got us. Oh, sorry. This is I feel like yeah. Lucas Rix there. That's what it was fuck. There you go. So I was kinda close. Sorry. Sorry dude. It's not person like like Lauria said, but like. Yeah. This, this show has gone places, and I know that sometimes people have, you know, not liked how we keep changing the show and keep reinventing it. But like you have to keep reinventing because of the end of the day we all play the same game. We all have these experiences right? And you have to find a fresh way to talk about that because many times can we talk about just, you know, the same SPCA or the same thing over again. That's why the show keeps evolving. That's why one day. I don't know when they'll be, but when the show returns back from hiatus it will be different, right? We'll keep evolving. We'll keep doing things that are new. And it's like I think ever since we started the show, the show's been growing. So I think like thank you, everyone for we're kind of sticking by all the changes sticking by all of the upgrades, and sticking by do. Even when we do a bit. That's not funny. Like Dr poop love that was the most triggered. I think I've seen our audience ever. Oh, yeah. I mean it, it happens, and honestly over, although I'm proud of how what we've been able to do, especially considering, like ninety five percent of like eighty percent of the podcast recorded under games to put a frankly, we just didn't have fun. And even though some we can know his be happy days like we were very real and also a lot of people didn't like that. But it is what it is. We shared a lot of fun memories together with all the you, the viewers impove had a lot of behind the scene moments when we met up in bro. We had the trips in London with EA in Berlin at the capture of, and we'll have more. I'm sure I'll see him while I'm definitely seeing him in LA soon. Yeah. I'm going to be like talk to game changers. Dude. And we're I'm sure we'll have borne the future. John. We had our ups and downs all the viewers don't know how many how many downs we have banned. The seas. Little engines, but it always ended up well, because it was meant to be it was meant to be. There's the greatest free for show on the planet, and that's not an exaggeration. I firmly believe that dude. Top eight gate, not enough, either gaming podcasts voted by red bull. Come on, man. That was fucking sick. When we read the part of the show where we were just like masturbating ourselves to Ireland six oh my My God. seventh best gaming podcast voted by you guys on red bull. All right. We were we're we the sixteenth most popular gaming podcast and Britain and the UK. I forget exactly what the number was. What was the top ten I don't remember like that's all things to you guys. But also because we're amazing just kidding. It really is all things to everyone, though. And like like you said, no jokes aside. I am like really proud of what we've accomplished because a lot of people listen to shows and they listen to podcasts. And you know, that's like saying that everyone says they can write a book. I feel like the modern equivalent of that is everyone says they can do a podcast. And I'm sure everyone with enough practice can do a podcast, but it's it's not just two guys are having many guys logging into discord and recording a call. There is a lot more that goes into that. I think that, like if we were to count the amount of times, we think about the show, you and me or think about the game or a bit what we're going to say or things like that. I think like we would run out of numbers that we know how to pronounce in just a given week. So, yeah. It's the type of thing that, like I'll be in the shower. Oh shit. Exactly object to talk about right down. We need stuff like waiting in the shower. No, no. But like. When I get out of the shower into the right, the right things, down, and it's a nightmare. I should I, I was thinking about putting like a clipboard in the shower because I need to write these things, I was think about it in the shower, but same here, but when the water like wash off the Mark Miller is there's like stuff. Yeah, I don't even know but there's all those weirdo. Entrepreneurs have all these weird things like the whole house is like giant clipboard, and they ride their ideas. Oh shit. I have to start calling you cut now don't. I. The beginning of the end. Oh shit. Everyone's going to be like, oh, you're such a sellout. Calling you. If anyone's not clear that is that's how they say it right on commentary in game. So I assume that's the official way of saying, I guess, you know what once they start working there later in the year. I'll I'll check in. And I'll let you guys know if that's official or not, they probably is. But. Yeah. Man. So, yeah, not to like powder, sells on the back to too much. But I like I like you said, we're both very proud of what we've accomplished. It's been a it's a it's been a big personal journey. It's not just a show about two guys talking about a video game. It's so much more than that. And I hope you guys listening. L dot as well. Because like obviously we can't be friends with everyone. That's listening to the show, right? Like there's thousands of thousands of people were not going to be able to have drinks with everybody or have one on one conversations with everyone. But I, I don't know if you feel the same way, I definitely feel like there's a. I don't know like an unspeakable. An otherworldly quality to it like a connection between the people that enjoy the show us doing the show and we do meet some of the people that enjoy the show in it's great. There's just this like, invisible connection that keeps us together, not to sound like too corny. But I don't know. Like that's just how I feel about it. Oh hundred percent. I mean, there's some people in our discord, who have been into this, Gordon since it was created. And so it's like literally, you might not meet them, but like years of interacting with them via messages. And banning them over and over again. Because. Definitely those two. So, yeah, I think at the end of the day, if I look back on foot FM, and I think like, would I have done anything different like I can genuinely say, no, like it is unfortunate that we have to go on hiatus here. But that's just the reality of things you know, my life's going to be very different going forward, especially with having to move to the other side of the country. God, hopefully no-one murders me while I'm alone and not surrounded by anyone that knows me or -mergency context just to my address on Twitter, and we'll see how that goes but yeah, I think like, like I said, couldn't have asked for better podcast partner. Couldn't have asked for more action it fee for player couldn't have asked for a better Italian because I know the rest of your scum. Agree. And all my, my only regret is that I guess the show unfortunately, we had a bigger number, and then it became a smaller number in terms of the amount of people in the show, like I wish that we could have kept afford. That's just not the reality of it. And my only other regret that's not show related. But as us related is that you can take me a decent Italian restaurant in Italy. Well, never say, never. We'll see. We'll see. Well, okay, next time I'm in Italy. I'll you know, you'd better have something lined up for me. I forget. It's going to be my life journey finding a restaurant good enough to while somebody. No, it's it's supposed to be good enough for you. Because we walked around for two hours and you kept saying, every place shit. Yeah. They were all shit. It's surprising hardly find good food in Italy, honest, average Lada, you can't go wrong us amazing July guy before going to Italy. And now I'm sad. When I eat ice cream because I'm like the Italian gelato really is everything. People were hyping up. At least one thing. Let's go baby. I live close to a lotto place and it's just like pathetic in comparison. I'm like it's milky next. How, how are you screwing this up? What are you doing? I walk in. Here's a photo of me in Italy OJ this on your wall. And they're like, sir. This is a McDonald's. We're going to ask you to leave. Deed. Obviously, I'm going to be telling you all of the, the promos ahead of time. Right. So that you can leak them. Limited. Making finally make coins. I'll leaks so that I can screw over your coins even going. Yeah, I do there's going to be sixteen versions of Taty you have to invest in Roma players. To you confirmed. Holy fuck limit. You know what guys rickety buck fired fuck. That's enough enough jokes about that before actually get fired, right? Please. Yeah. I don't. Really have too much to say right now about like the things I'll be working on. Like I said it is a producer type role. I will be joining Joel's team. I'm sure you guys know him from Twitter. So I'll be kind of working across a lot of different sectors of the game and kind of everything around it. I'll be working with a lot of different people, a lot of people, which you guys already know some of which you quite a bit. Don't really have much more than that to say right now. I'm sure like we'll talk about it again in the future. At some point, whether it's on Twitter or whatever. So in terms of me, you know, like I said, it's very excited because this is a dream come true like working on the game that I'm so passionate about that very scary because someone is going to murder me while I'm living. This is just fact. And my only hope is that you can renew the podcast feed after I'd I can't renew it myself. Don't worry about it. Okay. Anything else? Love underage. Thanks. You want to chat about today or or should seal off into the sunset? I know we're an episode like this, like the people listening, probably want us to go for as long as we can. Yeah. I feel like this is going to be a fan, favourite episode not because they want then but because.

"Phone calls, emails notes, whatever like you and I had met through coaching. So we got that Off. off. Forgot so announcement. Yeah. Unfortunately, you know, because I will be working on five will no longer be providing coaching. So it is a shame because I generally do love that. It's, it's not even about the money. Like, you know, the prices have all been pretty low. It's more about like. Or about the experience and more about learning from other people when also helping them get better. But yeah I'm gonna have to be canceling that, unfortunately. So everyone that's paid. Obviously, you know, if you have any remaining replays, they will be honored. I will be doing the analysis for you, but there will be no option to kind of re up or continue. Anyway, I just realized that so. You believe the way we had met is you had come to me. Unpatriotic was that, right? Correct. Yeah. And so you were just like, yeah, let's see what you got you know as a coach. And so, I would write you these long reports and stuff this was before it was video coaching, and then eventually, you know, through talking with you. I'm like you're very good at the game. And like you're you seem to be an intelligent person, and you seem like a fun dude. So let's do this. I I'm like not paying me money, and let's make a pot chest. And then yes, then that grew over time. And then eventually, like the accident review will happened and. That was like, how many episodes in at least like at least thirty right? The F man, I feel like it was like seventy the accent. Not not publicly like the one for you for us. It was like a episode one hundred or something. Maybe thirty forty I can it was it was a longtime. We had known each other for over a year at least yet hadn't met you in person yet. I think it was might have been now. Never mind. But yeah, it was a long time in the make, I think fever. Eighteen had started for sure. Yeah. So with just podcast going on hiatus I also wanted to take a moment to have another reveal which is that Vallejo's accident has also been part of a character that he would you like to would you like to finally show us how you really talk. I can't do this it di- go along. You asshole. Think of a fake the one time I did a fake accent. It was the toughest episode we ever had to record when we switch pretty much you sound, you actually turn on. You real accident really. You said so weird of those the funniest thing behind because inside joke. You know, we knew the truth. You sound like you sound like a surfer. You're just like man. Little, did you all know that was that was sure there's a lot of people still like I guess, not everyone listens to every episode which is totally fine. At some point we were doing two episodes a week. It's a lot ask of anyone but I still get an odd message every now and then being like what happened to what why do you sound so different? I'm like, and I still the bit guys. If somebody asks you what happens to Dr poplars accent. I have a cold, okay, every time that's the answer. I have a cold and it's a big hold. So, yeah. So. What one thing that I always appreciated about you've alario is how you. You take a lot of concepts specifically when you're talking about the game you take a lot of concepts that you might see somebody at online in like a forum post, or like one of their video that they made, but they're not necessarily able to get to the point, they're not necessarily able to articulate what they mean. And maybe that's not even what they mean. But one thing I've always really enjoyed in in working with you on the show, is that you're really able to take a difficult concept. Like, how do you show that this tackling should be less or more effective, or whatever, what is your opinion on this? And I think every single time like once the show ends once you hit stop recording. If you're listening to the show there is no, there's no confusion. And I think just in terms of podcasting alone, that's like a really good asset a really, really great skill. And it also makes talking about fee for like a lot easier than you would think like obviously, you know, with team of the season hits, there's maybe like a little bit of a lull, the general kind of like hyper after after hits or just people playing. But like I really don't think that. If somebody else was on the show in your shoes, I don't think that they would be able to like fill your shoes. So I just want to say thank you for always making the show like even when it's hard to do a show you still make it a lot easier than it should be. So I just wanted to say thank you for that. And I want to say thank you for. Never revealing your accent. I was until I say your to tears, and then you throw me the. I I really. No. I appreciate it. I do you know this whole do. Let's stop. Let's just kiss and get it over with. My god. All right. But let me. Okay, we're back. All right. Sorry, what were you saying, basically? No, I appreciate it. The kind words, you know, it's, it's a journey that I didn't expect to be a part of because when you ask me, I was like, oh, shit, what who let's do this aid. I wasn't expecting it. I didn't do any content and for years, you end Nellie really make videos make videos, but I couldn't I couldn't find my Nisha didn't just want to upload this. And whatever else was doing I needed. I find my foundation and now I'm starting to do that a little bit. So these concepts that you talk about the you that you kindly say that I'm able to articulate now I'm starting to do that the video as well. And it's been it's been going well, and for that, you know, I have a said this months ago as well to you, thank you, because you expose me to a lot of things I now have come to love you shared a lot of insight you helped me build. My like whenever a blood bond right there. I never even came to mind for me should I build a b c and then you help me with it or all the red it posts at the start when I was sitting forty no. And just to do a Reddit post, which literally like those were things that only me and you would do literally just purely out of passion, because at the end of the day. Yeah, you know, it helped me gain twenty subs on my YouTube channel that I didn't post videos on, but it was literally purely out of passion. There was like some sort of excitement when you're helping me make that post on read it when I made forty and wrote what I learned just enjoy we just enjoyed making a Reta posts that went viral. And that's it. When it died out. We got nothing out of it. And so I thank you for this right for being a great host because thank the fucking Lord, you were there to do that. Because of the start me or Ellis or AK choppers or Nelly. We fuck no way we could have fucking transitions or segues. At all. Stop it. You know, it's, it's easy for me to say what you say is my quality talk about concepts. But, like I can't think two things at once the way you do when, like transition, the conversation and think about what you wanna say at the same time think about how to segue. So, like course all credits you for that. You'll always very modest. I think I think that you've proven that you can do two things at once because you're regularly streaming on twitch now and I. Don't really see any streamers having the level of interaction with the chat that you're having I think that a lot of people are in the streaming seen either. They focus on the game or they focused on, like the packs or species, or whatever. But like when you walk into a stallion stream, you're walking into a conversation, which I really appreciate so don't sell yourself short. And I just I just I really just want you to reveal your real accent to the fans like say. See what you're doing pops. Jeremy would like all these over the top on over the past with real clich the propaganda of this accent. Right. He's like sprinkling in this. Grow because for the love of fucking God, I don't. I think the follow me when it was, it's your, it's your shadow. That's following you. The exit spiel the Coldfield deer man guys, please, please, please. Please follow stallion on Twitter. Twitch U2.. And the, you know, remember press f for accents. Oh man. What are you also wanted to say is? To you and the viewers holy shit. Man. Like, when I think about it, I think not only have we improved. I guess it's content creators, podcasters members of the community. Because in the end of the day, the podcast allowed us to become game changers will which even though they don't have a positive connotation. I think we did a good job of being a game changer without being like. Overly pandering. You know, like, you know, we give credit regretted is do when everything is fine in the world. So pretty honest and real without being offensive. And I think that's something that, you know, I was proud of how we we held ourselves to that standard. Even though again, you say gang ginger on Twitter, and everyone hates them reason, and it was sorry, it was like. Al- journey that helped me. I think my biggest flaw in mentioned this ages ago is taking things, too, personally, and being offended too easily. And thanks to this podcast in a way, I think I have improved so much on that aspect that if I read the things that are sent to me or said about me, a negatively, whether it's YouTube or Twitter podcast reviews, if I had read those things at the start of the journey, they would have liked killed me inside in. I would have gone on rance in stuff, and now Mabel to brush them off, and not give a shit, which I'm really happy about. It's all thanks to this podcast. Also, again, if you interacted with me at the start of the podcast, and I felt touchy or super aggressive. I apologize. It's shower was then working on it still to this day, but it's been a journey, you gotta start somewhere and I'm very grateful for this podcast for allowing me to do that. Yeah, I think the show has helped both of us grow in different ways. Think that coming up with. With with a fresh show or a year long game that people don't necessarily all play for one year. It's really forced as both to get creative to pump new ideas to really think about what we're doing and how we're doing it and like sure yeah, I'm sure there are some episodes that if we listen back to them right now, we'd probably be like ooh. Yeah. Like I've gone back and listen to her. I said, and I'm like, who are these people? Right. But, like that's perfectly normal, any podcast, you go down to the first episode and show any TV show. But, like, yeah, I just think that I couldn't have asked for a better podcast partner. So I'm very thankful that you kind of like randomly walked into my life. All of this has literally happened. I guess not through chance. Right. Because we made this happen, but like our initial meeting is just so random. It's not even like you can't explain that to your parents. I mean you can't then you have. Right. But like you can't you know what I mean like they don't quite get it. It's not only is it like you can't explain it not even as a random. But like you've, you've met other people, but it's not a given that everyone you meet just because you like them. You end up asking them. You know, it could have anything could have happened at any stage free to change your mind and not ask. Or maybe I could have denied totally. You never know never know what could could or could not happen. I'll van what if we didn't do the pop jazz, then an alternate university both like trillionaires? Send me semi over there by now buddy. That's, that's the thing though this ultimate universe. You're talking with your real accent. So anyway. Don't want to go for too much longer. Maybe a few more minutes that kind of thing. Like I said before, and we're both like super thankful for everybody that's tuned into this show and just because this show is going on hiatus doesn't mean that we're stopping. Right. I'm going to go work on the game. That's, that's the definition of nonstopping Valeria is going to continue being probably the best game changer in the game. That's not an exaggeration. He's putting out almost daily streams, right? He's making YouTube content and the type of content that he's making is I think something that everyone needs to see. It's not just blowing smoke up your ass just because you're my co host, just not now. No, I'm not like you for even suggesting. But if you want to do you're relaxing, go right ahead for fuck sake. I think that just because the show is going on hiatus..

"In terms of length. Right. It can be three weeks. It can be three years. It can be thirty years. That part of it is not decided. So he kindly, ask that if you already subscribed to the show, or you follow Twitter or whatever you stick around, if you would like to because this show will return one day in some capacity, don't know, when that will be, or what that will look like, but we will let you know, through the facial foot FM channels now malaria, you are the talian stallion, the man of a thousand names, the most beautiful Italian in the history of the universe. Are you feeling loaded question? I feel I feel you know, many many, many feelings it's tough moment to say goodbye. We don't know if it's goodbye forever for how long which is like a never so many unknowns. It's been one hell of a ride a when we started. And if seventeen days, we all met so randomly the original founding fathers of this, it was you me chapters and Nellie got bored, such a random group of people, but it just worked it worked. And then we were three in the with the last two men standing the battery AL's winners are. I guess the duo's. Yes. So you might have already seen on Twitter or wherever else, but I will be joining EA in an official capacity to work on in our producer type role. So going forward, you know, I will be no longer just like a like an e game-changer I'll be an actual employees working on the game. Which obviously, I'm extremely excited about like you won't find you won't find a more passionate person or two people than than us on this show about fica. Maybe that's why I don't know actually maybe there's many more passionate than us. I don't know about more. But I think our level like you maxed out this year, max level. Then I don't think you can exceed it. If you can't let me know to that direction. Well, then it'll be government secrets. Right. So I can't tell you about all my hacks now just kidding. But that is that that is happening. So I will be joining a leader this year, kind of closer to fall and that's very exciting. Also very scary. I'll be moving van couvert. I'll be on my own. So if you wanna come murder me, I guess you can. I know there's not one guy in our discord, that always says he's from Vancouver, but he secretly from Albert a- so shadow to Mr. crisp. But yeah, so I think I just wanted to on this show kinda just chat with you talk about, like some good moments bad moments. Whatever moments I think that like you said it's been it's been a wild ride. It's been very emotional. I've had a really good time. There's no one else I'd rather be podcasting with basically. And I think that. Like. You and I, we've kind of we've been through it all, like just fee is personal wise, all sorts of otherwise. And yeah, just wanted to kind of like grab a whiskey and reminisce about about the good old days about you, insulting your mom's cooking. That was my favorite episode. Still is still look. I'm swearing on this. And I don't care. It's the last thing I. So get to see that. At the center of it all swear. So like now than we stopped. Now we're back when you insulted you're mother's cooking. I forget the context, but I remember the story was. Yeah. No, he you go. Yeah. Basically, I was trying to make an analogy right hours this fee, eighteen there's no way we're not beating around the Bush I was shitting on the game constructively. Of course, no personal insults to any argest saying the game is not good. And so. Fire like. No. But, like that's a joke is. The what I wanted to make an analogy for was like, guys. Okay. Look, it's all right. If you didn't work out. But it's okay. You still a football. You still a fee. You have hopes for the future in the analogy. I made was like, look. It's like with your mom. Right. And you're like, oh, the pope averting your cingulate will let me guess you're gonna say that. Sometimes you love your mother. But sometimes you to be still love her. I'm like, no wait for it. And then I entered was announced of me is a offensive also that was back when I was still a doctor, Dr love. So you doing the impression incorrectly. My friend, the peak pop love. But basically, I, I started making the analogy in the analogy was, you know, sometimes my mom, will my mom's amazing chef she used to have her own business surrounded. And with the Italian ancestry in the grandmas was passed on, like food, gasden happened in my house, regularly, and every now and then though, she'll make. Something like literally, once a year something that's asked like complete. Look. This is my. In this moment. Leo's like crying. Bob was like, oh my God, and I just kept going on. And even though it's ask you just tell her, and then you move on and your back to fucking incredible food the next night, same thing. It was for me at the time of the FIBA eighteen. Look, we had a bath Eva seventeen I had fun had problems. But I had fun eighteen not had fun. Let's look to the future, and that was the analogy and oh my God. The laughter if you haven't heard that episode, maybe we got like we might find it soon. But it was. So if you look at the foot of fem episodes. It's I think it's in the title. The title of it says something about volumes bombs, click radio, I think it's called fee is Valeria mom's cooking question. Mark rising like that. That is by far my favorite moment on the show. You know, everybody had good moments this looking back. You know, Nellie was hilarious. You know, unfortunately, like with chapters Lee parted ways pretty early on. The show. But yes, some good moments to also some hazy moments like when I think you punch the TV or was it? So, yeah. That's law. Great. But like it's funny, I'm sorry. Definitely not. Great. Oh, we gotta get time hearing about. And then obviously, there was a less, yo, who was going to be an original member of the show, but due to certain life circumstances. Like he he wasn't able to do it weekly. We did eventually have him on that one. Time that you were unable to make it, but yeah, just want to give props to everyone that's made this show possible and to be all pandering about it. But, like, obviously the, like arguably the most important people on this show or everyone that's listening right now, right, like we wouldn't be doing this, if it wasn't for you guys, like it's all it's all fun and bands and serious Donkin whatever for us. But like at the end of the day, we do this, because we care about the game and care about you guys and, because, like, we, we love the back and forth. And, you know, sometimes it's good back and forth. Sometimes it's bad. But at the end of the day as the whole package, you kinda you gotta love it. Yeah. I mean for real, thank you to, to the listeners is, it's a bit of a niche market in terms of content creation, fever contin creations already nation than when you narrow down to podcasting. I think before we started it was just said foot weekly in that, now there's a few more options out there, but it's been it's been a lot of fun. And we grew a lot, as you know, podcasters from the first one to especially as like you obviously had experienced but personally, I was so yeah, it took a while before I started getting mellowed out. They want. In fact, I thought pop was trying to just instill confidence immune. He's like, you know, you kind of sound like see punk you have a good feeling. You're not on a microphone, just like in real life because the microphones are good and all, but you got to hear him in real life. And especially if he's speaking, louder, he, he's like a little bit of see him but can their guys a wrestler? What will take you did? What? Do you have any particular moments that stand out for you? Like the spaghetti one. I think that's the spaghetti went spaghetti. That's probably racist, the cooking. That's, that's I think my favorite moment. I think it's also Nellie favorite moment. But do you have a favorite moment of your own? It's hard. I remember the moment like you said, when chapters punched his telling us about the I was funny. So many good ones. I think when the whole cold spiel happened, even though there was a lot of behind the scenes drama because people on social media weren't happy with cold the other pop love. Yeah. Yeah. That like the reveal moment I was like this is it. Because when I found out, oh my go- we gotta tell that story dude. So I, I don't remember all of the details, but I'll say the short version of how I remember it. And then you wrecked me, or fill in the blanks, whatever. So. Track menia, turbo was free on XBox live gold. I think and I was like malaria, you should play this game because this game is fucking dope. And if you don't like it, then, like you're dead to me, so off sun and we're in party chat. Now you have to remember. The whole Dr Pablo of accent. Right. It's a Serbian accident. It's how you sound when you're talking to your parents in English. So anybody that is like an immigrant or grew up in a multi, lingual household. You know what that means? So you can speak a lazy version of the language that, you know perfectly. Well, so if my parents were for whatever reason needing to say something to me in English usually, we're not speaking in English. Right. But if they say something in English than because I'm already in Serbian mode, I won't bother to switch into English mode, instead of say, the English lazily with the whole kind of Serbian panache to it. So. I decided, you know, we'll use that as part of the doctor Pablo of character. But when it comes to stuff like gaming when I'm playing games with buds. I just want to have a good time. So I'm not going to sit there and think about the accident on the fly as playing, and I guess, either I forgot or I didn't realize that I had stopped, but you came into the party and here I am just fucking running my mouth. Like, hey, how are you? How are you? How are you? Good, sir. Do you having a good time here? Do you like this video game? Have you yet? Honestly, the way you make it sound makes it like it was kind of a mistake, then I found out, but I guess, so I guess it was. But the funny part is that so I hope on pops on the you wanna play this game like fucking. We'll play. And I started playing and he's speaking normally, right? And I don't see anything right? I don't acknowledge it for a good twenty minutes. And because I did it one. I didn't want to. I couldn't understand that. It was a joke yet. So I was trying to think I generally had. I had no idea 'cause I couldn't fathom it being a joke, and it couldn't fathom it. So I like fucking. Piece. It's art. Okay. No. But I'm not gonna acknowledge it. And then eventually I just got so tired of it. I was like pop to talk about something like what the fuck is this? Like dude, pops answer was not explaining it. He was like, dude, I was almost this appointed that you weren't gonna say anything. That was your end. I guess I must have noticed I wasn't doing the accident at some point because in my memory, I don't I wasn't thinking about it. So I guess I must have realized at some point I just said, fuck it. Dude. And then we strict Nellie when you did like up talking normally, and then Nellie was like, am I the only one hearing it and I played on on here? I didn't hear anything. I don't know what you're talking. We're saying that you were lying about being a room offense. So it was like a double double prank at the same time. Yeah. Those probably the that was actually that, that was my favorite buoyed the accident Tonelli as well and all my God. That was off the air to be. I'm sure he'll when he says, when he tells the story today, he'll be like, no. I knew I knew. But we got him there for a hot minute. We got him. Good. Oh, yeah. I pissed me off was that he actually believed the fact that I wasn't aroma fan so much so that it for the next two weeks after that jokey kept saying, you're not actually, aromatherapy, breaking you back to, because he knows you'll get triggered true true at the time mission Asian population style. So I guess died a little bit more context to the to the accident story prior to this, right? The only experience you and I have ever had has been digital. Right..

"Or whatever, so I'm gonna say sixty one okay. That's interesting. So we'll reveal the results next weekend. Well, throw up the leaderboard next week as well now that we're going to have a bunch more answers. So looks like you guys like the foot FM trivia, and we're going to keep that up looks like you guys don't like the voicemail so all right? What it is. Tell me what has your past week been. Yeah. Looted earlier has been pretty decent, because we're starting started doing new thing while we stream and basically, I'm playing formation roulette, we pull up a wheel every permission and before every rivals game I have to play with whatever the will gives me and it's just funny, man. It's funny. It's really, it's really like refreshing, I remember awhile ago, invitee in you were mentioning on the podcast. Maybe a good way to refresh your mind because I was playing a lot back then is to force yourself to play a different formation right in that just resets. I feel like I'm feeling it a lot. Now maybe too much playing for every game I went from like five four one two four triple two, three, four to one, it's so different every time and feel like it helps keep things fresh because, you know, we you and I have talked about this more than anyone ever AI runs. The same all the time, therefore the patterns or you're gonna find or the same retirement. The only way to sort of steer away from that, that, while you can find and keep creative in essense. Switching formations every game. And so that's been helping me. I'm sorry. I got distracted by my own stupidity. I have to switch topics really quickly remember how when we started the show. I was like, yeah. Team of the seasons are gonna come out while we're recording. Yeah. I just realized. No, it's not. We'll be done by the time it goes, it's gonna come out, right? When we finished recording unlucky. So I guess. We're on the cusp of greatness, basically. Right. Yeah. We're on the cusp of greatness. Sorry about that guys. But it is the only time we can record this week, unfortunately. So we'll be talking about the fully released team of the season next week. But you know, you can expect the Staples to be in there. So we'll still be covering some ground there. But anyway, back to what you were saying. So what has been the formation that you found has surprised you out of all the ones you've tried so far? I mean surprise me. I guess I could go both negative ways surprise me in a negative both negative positive in a negative way for triple to surprise me negatively because all my days, Brian, oh, it's such a metaphor mation this year, and it was last year as well, bro. It's so direct. I can't I can't. There's this huge hole the middle. It makes no sense. I guess away I could make it work is if I'm only playing for one game. So I can't really be bothered to do too much testing out, maybe if I get it again, next time around put like a false nine on one striker make him drop back or something is hole in the middle is just it's horrible and defensively as well. It just makes me feel uncomfortable. But positively, which was surprise me none really. I haven't had one that I like I guess once one role, we had the fourth through three four variation, although that's very close to home in. So when I got that one that was like the one game I want, like four nil because I was like, finally, I'm not playing five four one. I got a five to one. Got a five three two all the five at the backs. Basically back to back to back which was a bit of a me. And they were you know they had they had their moments they had their moments, but overall the five at the back it just it's a grind formation. Madame rightly so rightly so. But I'd say four three or four so far was the best one I what you say what for triple too, because I was playing it a lot at the start as well. And while it doesn't give you some good offensive options, just punish it. So easily with the four to three one. It's difficult for triple to a lot of people. Try to play it as a wide formation. But it's not. So when you come up against a four to three one the four two three one just lots in that whole, you'll even midfield, you know. Type of formation that if you play, I've seen at least based on, you know, when I watch the pros, and I see the pros who are really successful with it. They pretty much play knowing. They're gonna just have to Wayne by by overloading. Right. You're just going to accept that you're gonna have a hundred chances or one hundred plays offense plays in, like eighty of them, you're gonna get a passenger sept-, but those twenty that you don't those are your chances to to score new except that you are gonna have like forty percent possession, and you're gonna have low pass accuracy end. That's not I can't do that. I can't accept all those things that go crazy news. Holy by five at the back being such a such a chore, basically. And it should be, but raking news. Okay. As of two minutes ago, the first of the season got revealed it's ninety five Allison from Liverpool. Goalkeeper, of course. Oh, you got an I was like, oh. Oh. Ever plead with Allison before number. And it's just like I don't know what it is about him. He doesn't say the shots that the other goal keepers, top goalkeeper save. He doesn't get into. Good sponsor, maybe ninety five card doesn't matter. Right. It'll be good. But I've only had bad experiences with Allison. Yeah, I know I go that times times three thousand because. When I played with Allison, I played with the eight in triplet, whatever from the highest Cardi has, and that was during the time when they had just added competitive requirements for pro qualifiers. So you everyone pretty much was running Alison. And you think out whatever he'll be fine. He was dreadful. So the reason I said, ooh is because if he's good enough, I can sell my defeo, who's on eight Kim, who's been doing some weird things recently trying out, get full Kim because actually with ninety eighteen chemistry right now. So. I'm like the one player it like high divorce with ninety eight. It's, it's weird. So I would like for him to be good. So I can buy him but yeah, I think I think, regardless of stats. He's got this weird punching thing going on. I don't know. He's a bit weird. Yeah.

"You mix it up better. But then you know, what's interesting is that this sort of Taliban works for someone like leave. Maybe somebody like you as well. In terms of how we play. But there are like some of the best counterattacking players in the world. Do they do the fee fake willin- of WPN, and they hold our to all day in there like pro players. So you know, it depends. If it's if you're counterattacking Blair this could be risky, right? You kinda do sprint at that. You're right. But also, I think one thing to just out on top of that is always remember that some people will be exceptions to a rule. So you could argue that those outliers. I think if you're the average player, I don't know I'm assuming that you're probably sprinting too much because back when I used to coach what I saw all the time. Thing isn't necessarily evil. You just really have to think about how you do it. And speaking of things that aren't necessarily evil. I don't know that was a terrible segue. People used to spam finesse right before they got patched. And now people will often question. You know, why did I score in this one on one situation? Why didn't I do this white enough shoot? Like this. Thing. I wanna point out when finishing is don't be afraid of the near post. Most people will always go for the cross post the far post and FIBA we've been trained to do that especially with last year's game where driven shots crossbows were by far the most effective way to score. So a lot of people will move their goalkeepers to cover the crossbows. A lot of people will expect that to happen. If your body is straight and looking at the near post, and it's not a dead angle or something like that. There is no reason for you to be shooting crossbows, there's no need shooting at the near post is just as effective. So whether it's power shot, a low shot doesn't really matter keepers are really good at covering the near post in real life. But that's not something you can really replicate in video game unless the angle is completely dead shooting at the near post is just as a -ffective as the far post has that been your experience, or no, it's something I had to get acclimated to I would just say acclimated acclimate these. Oh, yeah. I was I was actually close amazing. I'm the best. That was just saying that's not actually I said, I said actually my teacher because it sounds like pizza. But what was it saying? Oh, yeah. "But yeah, it's interesting you'd mentioning how you didn't necessarily make too much time for the event, and obviously it's a long event and not everyone's going to be able to watch at all times. But that's kind of Mirroring the immunity reaction to it. I think there's definitely a small group of people that were very much into it. But it just seems like the response to this event has been a little bit lukewarm. Like, you said it was a well produced event and everything. But what in your opinion is the one thing that would make e sports more of an. Citing thing to watch. I don't know. Because if you ask me all tell you that when it was fee for seventeen I was glued at my seat for every event. But that's because it's me I cared about that game. Right. I'm not going to claim that everyone was interested like me in those events because I don't know if they were. So it's hard to say because again, I just don't I'm not a big fan of this game. So I don't really care. I don't get attached to any stories. I remember if you're seventeen I was fan of principii, and I enjoyed watching him. Now. I don't care for the game. It means I don't get attached to any players. So I'm not gonna watch it. But does that mean it's the same for everyone else? Because at the end of the day, the only people Hussein event is great to watch dog. Great to watch are the hard cores, right? Like the only way like I can't guarantee that if the game was perfect than that. It would be seen by all the Casuals as well everyone. Everyone would be interested in watching because we don't know. So I guess like before we can even think what can we do to make it more? Entertaining. A lot of people said the drama thing, which we talked about last year, which I guess did kinda spike viewers in a way. But again, we don't know like we just don't know until the game is so good like undoubtedly objectively good. How can I know what we need right? If feels kind of backwards to say, we need rivalries, we need this format before we worry about the game. So what I'm hearing is that you want to that's more rewards on twitch. Now just getting it should be log onto Twitter guaranteed or else. Some number one. Okay. So, but what would you wouldn't you agree? Like in a sense. I mean, we could talk about for argument's sake. What what you need? But in at the at the end of the day, doesn't it feel backwards to say we need this to be better production to be better? When the core product is just not I agree with you to an extent because although it's well documented, you know. Neither of us. This is not our favorite fief. So think although the product needs to be there or the spectator. I'm not sure how much they care like I know in your situation. Right. You cared. A lot about seventeen. So you are very invested. But. I don't know is each for. It's going to be something that's supposed to be mainstream. Or is it supposed to be big for the hardcore what unquote gamer because you look Doda right and league of legends. That's mainstream because they fill out actual stadiums. They fill out ten thousand plus people. But I don't know like is not going to work for a sports game. If that's the goal, then I'm not sure that product quality is the number one thing, I think is more about storytelling. But if the goal is for it to be very popular with a smaller group of players, and with, you know, smaller sponsors and things like that that in that scenario. I I agree with you that the product needs to be there. And you know, we saw some stuff happen at the initial, you know, players getting pushed out of positions without fouls being called. We saw alternate os and things like that. So I don't know. I I have some ideas, but we would probably need like eighty different podcasts for that. So yeah, I don't know. It all depends on what the end goal is. What are you? If you were in charge of east sports would your end goal be to be mainstream appeal or just hardcore appeal assuming money was not an issue..

"Well, my first reaction when I saw it before I knew exactly work. How many prices they give out like, okay? This is good that they're working with creators. And I got. A decent amount of hate for it because I was happy that he was working with creators. But they misunderstood right, obviously. At the end. I didn't like the execution in the sense that it's kind of a joke. How little rewards they send out, but I guess just how the cookie crumbles, right? If two hundred fifty thousand people are watching twenty people get a reward like I think it's a bit of a cop out a second of all why the thing I liked it is that I viewed it as a as a as less steppingstone. And I also said this is huge. If the game also develops gameplay wise, which which implies that I'm saying, you know, eight gameplay doesn't get good this doesn't matter. Right. So number one game plays always king in MOS gonna believe that number two. I'm also saying this has to evolve will this evolve into support a creator code for fever points. That's amazing. Right. All these things that gives back to the community. So that's what I was a it. I wasn't so much. So saying this is the greatest thing ever. I was looking at more stepping stone for other things. But once it happened. And I saw these people cheering I, you know, I tweeted out in the nicest way possible because there's also been a lot of talk about stop being negative for the sake of being negative. But you also have to be realistic. Anyone who's fooled by the fact that this is a w is kind of a don't know he's kinda lying to himself. And I don't think he's doing good for the game. Because if the sole purpose is numbers than shore. You can do this, and you can you can exploit the negative side of people were selfish will only tune in to grab a card, but if you really care about the game, if you really care about your craft you want people to tune in with these numbers or close or higher than what we have without these trips with drops without drops. You wanna tune into the gameplay? I think it's a bit. It's a bit of when people are tuning in just for the chance of getting a car really watching. It's not for the game play. I think it's a false image images. Meraj? It's a bit of a bit of ally. Ed compared to you know, doping, you dope yourself you perform well, you win a medal. But did you really like, you know, you kinda cheated you're cheating your numbers, you're making your game? Look better than it is the game play. Is. It is what it is here. It was the same last year even seventeen was in great. But in a day these numbers make it look good. So like, I said on Twitter, it's a w L it's should be seen. I hope I really just hope it's being seen as a look. These are the amount of people who play your game and who are able to log onto twitch. Yes. And they're coming on right now. Please make this is your potential the day this potential this untapped potential made use of for gameplay is when you truly reached higher level for for your game. Because then when you add right a twitch drop on top of good game. You're doubling these numbers. Right. Absolutely. You're breaking twitch. So I just hope that's what is being seen as. I saw a little bit too much sharing for my taste. Yeah. I think that it's like you said this can't be a great stepping stone. And if this is something the gets more people down the line involved in some business somewhere like, oh, we sponsor these events because we saw these numbers. Like, okay. Maybe it was a necessary evil if you will stuff like that. But I think it's like you said at the end of the day place king. You know, I will challenge that. And maybe that's something. We talked about on the next episode because we're running out of time. But gameplay is king. I agree with you. But the average person you think rewards are king..

"Well, because I think I think there's too many aspects of fee for gameplay. They're taken for granted. And people don't understand. Just because they they might not care. You know, like who wants to sit there and think okay, what's wrong with this game that you just kinda wanna hope it's good enough. You're gonna have fun. But there's too many aspects of it like there's nothing about build up. That is correct. There's nothing about passing. That's correct. A big passing is the his thing. You do most your pass is the you press the most in it's the bun with Elise skill involved. So there's gonna be a lot of domino effects because of that and whether it's interceptions and defensive offensively island. I just hope it comes out. Well, as I envision it. And that that's it. Because it's gonna take a lot of work should all be good. Obviously will be constructive. Anyone just be screaming your ass off for twenty five hours and. Yeah. I noticed the something interesting happening side put out that has two weeks ago where I was highlighting the runs that people making Pez the AI and not in fever. And there was a large portion of the community that spoke up and said, hey, wow. I didn't even realize this is a thing. So I think maybe a lot of Lethem players. They just they're used to fee for gameplay, obviously. And they don't necessarily have to think about the things that we're thinking about and also I know for fact that a lot of the few community aren't necessarily the big football fans. So when they're drying inspiration or or where they're drawing inspiration from is not necessarily always real football. It's more of a video game capacity, which there's merit to that as well, obviously. But I think I think it's super useful for you to highlight all of these things that average people. Might not notice in even if they don't know oh dying over here. Even if they don't notice it still affects gameplay. So if you're listening to this you're in division, six seven or eight on your wondering, why should I care about any of these things that Valeria is going to be talking about in his video will you'll see why you should care. It's because the things that you reason why you're in that division might be because of the game play or say, it might not necessarily because of you. Now, that's not the same. It's always the game place. Fall. You know, some people are simply better than others. But he equal playing field is not necessarily there for everyone. This this is horrible because it's stack up like say all these things not everyone's get a notice. It sounds like Owen not only like at the end of the day. Imagine a spectrum on the one side, you have you know, below average players on the other side, you have above average players fief nineteen has things in it that we have all talked about. Which like passing shooting assistance goalkeeper movement time, finishing the previous finished metal all these things. They pushed someone on the low end of the spectrum who is not as good above to make them better. Right. And then, but the things that are the least talked about are the things that push people in the right set of spectrum who are like above average players closer in. So it's like a double whammy effect Kraml these people in the same skill, and those things are things that are more complicated to understand things that people wouldn't normally see like some intricacies in the build up like the offense of AI being so stale because what does it mean if the office of AI steal, it means that you're limited to one two or three different combinations..

"But yeah, we need something with open matchmaking. Yeah. Totally and ooh, mention I'm so last week we talked about how I need. I felt I needed massive help in improving. I think I managed to crack the code on. What was going wrong with my play? Would you like to know what it was please secret technique? Unbelievable. From pros. Like, I said I was extremely exhausted. When I was playing, I don't know about you. But when I reach a certain level of true true to life exhaustion, like ACA fall asleep at any moment. I'm basically zen as I can ever be normally on the type of person that has like eighty thousand different thoughts going on their head at once. But when I'm tired. No, it's just like I hone in on one thing. And. I'm be smoking it. But even though I'm I feel at peace, I'm relaxed. So that's what was going on in this clarity. I sorta got this is not like an analogy for drugs. I was just telling this clarity. Let me see what was wrong and I realized during transition play. So when I lose the ball and the other team gets the ball. I playing way too realistically, I'm trying to defend that transition usually by sending my midfield. There's a little bit wider than normal or by using my fullbacks little bit too much in real life. If somebody's going to attack you from with you can push up your Bank where you can push up your winger and put pressure on that person and cut off most of their Ford passing. That's how it works in real life. That's how football is in thief that barely ever works. What you need to do is actually get your fullback, maybe close enough or within. Range or just get them in the right spot in line with your defensive line. And then you need to forget about where the action is happening, and you need to make sure the center of the pitch is compact with your midfielders. And I don't know what happened. I guess at some point if nineteen I lost track of that. Because he was always been this way. But I recognize that was my problem. And now when there's a transition when there's a counterattack about to happen when I lose the ball and there's a switch of play..

"Let's think about it right in Pez, even at the top level, people are spamming threw balls and all sorts of other stuff. So even if I had the AI that has had would the top one percent of players still just trying to exploit the game by repeating the same thing over and over again, you'll euro is gonna have like the exploiters, right? Every year. Whether it was last year that you're before sixteen fifteen fourteen everyone's always exploiting. But I think at what every other had our than this is at their way more people who didn't have to now you can count the people who trying not to exploit with one finger. There's Jimmy one player. And even that one player is still doing the first finesses, though tornadoes every now that because he has to there's no option option to do that. But what you said that's like, really, correct? When you said that you're in the top four percent of players because of the team the event, that's that's that reminds me of a Twitter conversation had. Recently it enjoyable one rare enjoyable one where. A listener was like asking, right. He was he wanted to understand more. Like, he didn't understand how the fact that how it's possible that there isn't a skill gap. Maybe just a myth. Maybe it's because a matching better players this year compared to other years, and in my mind, right? The difference between a division four player in division. One player is enormous, right? At least it's enormous one. And it should be enormous. Always there's a huge difference. But when you look at the numbers if only four percent of people are in their lake that's tiny, right? And whereas in past years, a division four player would have been so much worse than a division. One player. I think this is a year when the difference is the smallest it's ever been. So even though if you're not one of those players, and you're like, I wish I was in the top three percent. The difference between top three top to top one is like gigantic, and I don't really know. Where I'm going with this anymore. But I don't know. I just kind of let me break it down. So that it's easier to digest. Are you saying that in nineteen a division? Four player is closer to a division one player than eighteen. Let's just ignore. If you've eighteen but the other. Any other fever? There is it's the difference is much much bigger. I see what you're saying. So it almost makes wonder is part of why the percentages so low just people falling off of the game. Because if you look at the achievement for actually bring it up right now. So there is an achievement for playing twenty games of ultimate team. What percentage of players XBox think? Got this chief it seven percent. Well, that's really low. Really, are you sure, I don't know. Like you made its allegations surprising, low by the tone of your voice stalling for time. While that you've been slowed up, dude. I guess Twenty-nine them, dude. You're good twenty six percent. Games in any game mode with an ultimate team. So we can already see that ultimate team. That big..

"There was a lot of backlash because people already said will what if we did the SEC for prime icon, like we're gonna get compensated, what's happening in instantly. They said well for those who did there will be an opportunity to submit those SBC for prime that has come moment released later in nineteen said if it wasn't being released this SBC on instantly than it's a scam. Because you've just let us like you've you're gonna give us to give us this. She went like in June. When we don't carry more agai- needs to come out instantly. So we can at least some people have little victory like a little plus bonus assure you have the people that who didn't do it were missing out. But at the end of the day like some people these are going to be happy about it. And the what had what ended up happening that? Well, George Best wasn't released in the first batch. So they have an excuse not to release the SEC Ned vittles in releasing the first patch of moments like all these guys have already had species were not released. So that's that was the fix at interest. Not a fat. Also who is this? Mystical or mythical player that in July or August is still playing the game. But his casual enough that this is going to be their first big hurt that they get is disappointed that exists. So you've played X amount of games with you're eighty five or eighty six raider team. And then in August, you're like, yeah. I can finally get this prime Ike on. All right. I'm sure there's people like that probably great amounts. So I don't just it just seems like this is a promo to get people to open packs and at the end of the day. That's what every promo is. But at least you give something else to the other parts of the community. This one doesn't feel good. It doesn't sit right with it doesn't. I don't know. It's just again, it makes me not trust things as much and bad taste. But speaking of tastes, this is not a segue. Speedway before before going to take a lot of these icon moments have like really minimal upgrades, but up here there there was one which was kind of interesting this. This is going to be particularly interesting for me and shout out to man Smarr by no he's gonna like this one. Prime icon moment by Joe got plus twelve ballots. Clus twelve balance. This guy was he his whole thing was that Fridley he'd do coast-to-coast and just get past players..

"So I don't know it just it doesn't add up. It's weird. I think it's just a matter of which a you don't necessarily need a monitor right to play better. Of course, you have on fantastic. There are some just normal TV's that are just as good. Yes. Modern six years old to be there. Yeah. I have I have TV. I have two TV's that I used to play on in one of them felt great and one of them felt awful. I just always remember thinking like why? But I never liked more than that. Because I didn't really care. But now that I look back. It's just a matter of which TV you have you have no issues with yours. I know plenty of people who can hit with hit top one hundred on regular television because have good TV's. But then other people who when they wish to monitor you know, they said, oh, I felt the difference. Other said not really didn't feel difference. So I mean, it just depends. What you got you had the the bad end of the stick by TV is I don't use it for gaming pretty much unless that single gaming or casual stuff. So I've never really had problems. I guess just highlighted the state of my TV in the state of the wireless XBox controller. It's pretty shocking. The rocket league test controllers at the end. Last year. I think and it's pretty shocking at almonds latency, the Xbox One controller has, but you know, what God I have to. All right. I'm I'm so it's interesting because you were telling me when you were playing on XBox. You felt it was more responsive than your PlayStation game play. So what was your XBox set up like? Well, my XBox is. I'd say it's like half a meter from me, but to the right? So I it was like I'm not playing I wouldn't call that point back range, but I'm pretty close. Although I feel like that's more. That was more connectivity issue. More than a delay. I think I believe the fact that if we foward a play on equal connections on the place would still feel well, which believe off the air. You told me an interesting point about why you think may be XBox pros have done better. Maybe wanna share? Oh, is it because of the delay between the controllers is that what you're? That's what that was your eye bossism. We don't know that if you found out that there's more delay on XBox controllers. Maybe that's why like a lot of finals, even though they're close the XBox edges it because I in my opinion, this is just a theory mixed with my opinion, this is not concrete evidence. But I'm thinking if I planted the XBox regularly. It's your radically more delayed in terms of the control latency by a couple of milliseconds milliseconds compared to the PlayStation controller. So if I'm going from XBox PS four at an event it's easier for me to adapt than somebody going from PS four to XBox. Which is kinda my thought for a may be the XBox players can beat the PlayStation players more often. I don't know that's the case. But it's just an interesting thing to point out because if the dual shock for really is as fast as seems to be in point blank testing. Then. Yeah. Playstation players at a significant disadvantage when they play on XBox. Yeah. I mean, and this is only one text is not blink. Because when Texas playing it doesn't matter..

"It's been fixed. Nothing ever happened will never talk about ever because we're wherever we would have been had not made those mistakes. Now, exactly all of those mistakes led to this moment to your brother running into your the. The things soon. That's amazing. So what formation you're playing a game? I you still rocking four three three and then four to three one. Or are you doing something else? I I started post patch. I went straight to the four three two one knowing that. It's like it's like a fan favorite of mine because I used to play that in seventeen the issue with a native remember the defending the nineteen. It was okay. And then with longshots being so be it was dreadful. But now the thought which which permission I think I misheard for three to one. For the three. So now back to using it because if feels a lot more balanced because an been using a couple of weeks, it's not amazing. But it's a lot more usable because longshots aren't as p so defensively feels better even though nothing really changed. Just natural order of things for two through on is still there in the back burner. Just in case ever need to match someone with it also running the false nine quite a bit as well. For some wits. False night Brennan. Yeah. It's crazy. What a little patch can do to what you can use. Because if you're not conceding what you couldn't defend allow you can use a whole bunch of other other formations, but that's such a good first half of that sentence. Just died. That happens to be all the time. It was like, oh, this is a really interesting point you make. Oh, you lost train of thought. The that's the the hosts curse I have passed it onto Yuna. Indeed. But how how is your past week since we didn't hear for you the longtime? It's been pretty minimal in terms of how much played just because like I said apartment was under construction. So had very limited access to everything. But I did get some in- and. Oh, goodness. So I play on high end monitor and it's plugged indirectly. And I play with a wired controller wired connection all of these things basically trying to minimize the delay in a fee for game because historically service here, we're not awesome with halfway through eighteen the servers got way better than if nineteen the servicer find for me. I know they're not for everyone. So I cooked up this stuff to television of regular no name brand while not no name brand. But a TV from best buy out even just a regular ten eighty p sixty Hertz TV. I don't even know what the refresh rate on it. As all that stuff. Is you basic basic TV HD, obviously. So I was playing with a wireless controller on top of that. And I did have wired internet, thankfully, the delay was insane. I went from division two. Two thousand something skill points. Who was I think I might have dropped a division for. I can't remember now if it's 'cause I climb back up eventually, but the delay is insane. It was unplayable. It took me so long to get you suits of relearn how to play all because I'm playing on a nasty old TV or regular TV with a wireless controller XBox controller. And so that let me to look up all the factors into this. And how the dual shock is via radically the fastest controller at point-blank rage. Nobody plays a point blank range, obviously. But. If this is what fee is like for the average person really shocked because even when you and I played this game early. We were not playing it on a TV with wireless controllers. We were playing it wired on I don't know if it was a high in monitor, but it was a good monitor. So it was really educational because I guess I haven't played for like this in years, and it was a shocking at what the delay is like, and I don't even know how you fix. Well. You can't write like the eighties the TV and the wireless the wireless, you can do anything about it. I think the XBox one's wireless latency on the controller or something like five milliseconds compare that to my monitor which is one..

"So if if you have for jump if you did a prime best there will be an opportunity for you to win a spec- insert that prime best and get the the new I con moments best. Here's the issue unless this SBC comes out the day. This promo comes out still scam. Why because they said sometime later in nineteen the species gonna come out. So when's it coming out is it in a week is it in June? Is it in July is it in August? I cannot be bothered to log on August to get my moments best. Okay. Like, I I've been scammed. I want my icon moments card. The minute comes out or have the opportunity to submit my prime best the minute. It comes out because it's only fair otherwise, I wouldn't have done prime best. I wouldn't have done prime Nedved and this is not comparable. Like, I said to the player of the month Royce because again player the month, Royce is inactive player these icons don't play anymore. There's no reason for them to get upgrade. They haven't done anything you otherwise, you could have said. That prime icon SBC's or the moments would have been released later date. So we well would have known that it even better version of the prime would have come out. But the point is. Even though it's good that they're gonna release SPC's for people who already own the prime version due to doing one of those SBC's. It's it's all wasted effort unless these species come now because it doesn't fix the issue. If you bring out these SBC's in four months, three months, two months, even two weeks like asked to come. Now. I'm sorry. But that's I feel really strongly about it. And that's really all there is to say about it. If you're pumped about it. I'm happy for you. But personally, I feel I feel cheated nonetheless post patch gameplay, right? A lot of people are still talking about it notice my segues. There are literally no segues. We are going strong like a train. It's been twenty minutes of me talking. I don't know how I'm doing this post patch..

"You know, we've had we have had this before where pop has had issues with his natural habitat. You know, he was once attacked by squirrels, and he couldn't record. And now his house is under construction. He cannot record. And therefore, I am here today alone. But the show must go on I cannot stress this enough the show will be back to normal next week with Dr manipulation love, aka Dr Pablo of joining us to talk, more fever. But until then it's it's me. I am the boss now, I'm daddy now of foot FM, actually, I'm not even going to say that because that kinda makes it sound. Like, I wasn't the bus before. Behind the scenes, I'm Batman. It's me. You know, pop pop is good in inner ticketing in front of many people in social media access to face a little bit. Sometimes any host the show. But I am Batman. And I'm here today to lead the show for once not behind the scenes, but in front of the scenes, anyway as usual we're gonna get into a little bit of past week Afifa. We're also gonna talk about the the the new promotion that came out lots to say on that a bit of controversial promotion, the new icon moments promo, but before that it is currently Wednesday of recording. Maybe that's a secret thing that I'm not supposed to say when we recorded this episode, but last night, the Champions League took place and I'm aerobic fan. Of course, I was born Rome raised a Roma fan and my team played against portal at home. And right before the game. I think even said a few weeks ago because we were talking about that Champions League for Lenzi road to the final card, and everyone was like should I buy those like now don't buy were trash. We're not gonna win. Of course, we won. I don't mind that. I look bad seeing that, you know, predicted the wrong result because with Roma I like to say the opposite. So the of what I hope haven't. So what I hope actually does happen. You know, it's kind of like a superstitious we all do that. And jokes aside. I still was surprised that we be Porto. We played an incredible match at Ingenico was a God even tweeted that you know, he was fast. He was agile. He was strong. But if you try and use them on fee, it's like turning the Titanic. So it sucks because someone like gieco is actually really fast, especially for his size, and he's agile. He can dribble on you can forget about using any striker whose tall other than Cristiano Renaldo even Rinaldo didn't feel as nimble as you'd like. But anyways the game back to football. We're talking about Szanyo low. This is like even though Jacobite amazing. We be portrait to one. And there if we have any Porto fans listening. We deserved a two goal lead. We serve to come out of that game with two goals of a cushion. But we didn't because Porto scored one of the fluky is goals of ever seen. But the point I want to stress is that the man we bought actually deemed by the man that we got given by inter I keep saying mad, but he's a kid Nikola Daniela is nineteen years old. We sold nine Golan to inter for twenty five million plus D Santen plus Nikoloz in the Olo and Szanyo is I have never seen a youth player..
