Biden releases new strategy to tackle rise in antisemitism, says 'hate will not prevail'
"The White House has unveiled a new 100 step government blueprint for fighting violence and discrimination directed at Jewish people in America. Noting an alarming rise in the country. Vanished semitic incidents are at a record high. President Biden is outlined more than 100 steps, government, business, and community leaders can embrace to counter bias and hate. Their centered around increasing awareness of anti semitism, improving security for Jewish communities, reversing the normalization of anti semitism, and building solidarity across communities. At last week's reception, marking Jewish American heritage month. The president said there's an increase in physical violence and intimidation. Anti semitic flyers and driveways and banners on bridges. Anti semitic conspiracy theories rampant online. It's unconscionable. It's almost unbelievable. It's despicable. He says the recommendations send a message, hate, will not prevail in America. I'm Jackie Quinn.

Exclusive Interview With Infamous Capitol Rioter
"Hello everybody, I'm speaking with Richard Barnett. He's in at home. He has to be at home because he's under house arrest. The man whom you know from the photograph from January 6th with his feet up on Nancy Pelosi's desk. He is a lifelong firefighter, he has no criminal record whatsoever. Whatever you think about what he did, those are relevant. And we'll find out what he did. So let me review what I have heard from you. You went to Washington, D.C., to hear president Trump's beak, you were then given a flyer that they will be another demonstration at the U.S. capitol. You saw a peaceful group of being attacked by some police. Is that correct? Is everything I said accurate? That is accurate, sir. Okay, did you have any intention of entering the capitol when you went to it? No, sir, I did not. So how did that transpire? Well, when I saw the police attacking the innocent crowd, when I might add to because there's so much out there, when we approach the capital, there were no barricades or signs, the little flyers said that the secondary protest was going to be held on the capital grounds. So just to clarify that, but anyway. So after I witnessed the police with not two friends were with me, we all witnessed it and a few other people, the crowd being attacked. A good handful of the police came running past us on the northwest corner of the building. And when they did, I was pretty seeing that because I've been a firefighter and most of my Friends are almost police officer in good people is this blue my mind to see police doing that.

Pittsburgh posted a 40, 31 and 11 record and finished one point behind the Florida Panthers for the final Eastern Conference wild card spot. Why Tolerance Is Needed in Sports Today
"Selena, I tried to teach last week the masterpiece cake shop case to my con law students and a few of them were very upset that Jack Phillips didn't bake the cake. And I tried to explain to them why we don't make anyone bend the knee to anyone in the United States coercing them with government authority. Now, the penguins and the flyers are not the government. And the NHL is not the government. So it's not a First Amendment case, but boy oh boy, there used to be a tradition of tolerance when when you and I were young, which was the afterglow of decades of religious discrimination that was evil and vile, and it's behind us now, but it apparently is returning. Well, here's the problem you. People, this young people that your teaching, they don't know about the importance of faith in life because faith is an important in your life. Other things have replaced faith in their life. I often point to climate change in the server around climate change. That's how you people use your response to defending their faith. Now they do is to respond to secular ideals because faith isn't as important in young people's lives because their parents are faithful.

"These mechanical insects could help us explore more of Mars. This is innovation now, bringing you stories behind the ideas that shape our future. The NASA innovative advanced concepts program nurtures visionary ideas that might transform future NASA missions, and bio inspired flyers called Mars bees made the list. Here's Brian mesmer from the university of Alabama to explain the flapping flyers. It's really a swarm of Mars beep acting with the rover. The marriage B's are able to feed the rover data on where to go. One of the issues right now is that we can only see so far for the rover with these Mars bees. They can spread out. We can examine the terrain, figure out the best route for the rover to take. Initial proof of concept experiments demonstrated that the lift produced by the cicada sized wings was sufficient to support the flyers weight. Flexible, rather than rigid wings, increased maximum flight time. And the unsteady high lift mechanisms utilized by insects on earth will be aerodynamically beneficial in the Martian atmosphere. The Mars B team has made a beeline back to the lab using what they learned to design an optimal system that might one day buzz the surface of Mars. For innovation now, I'm Jennifer pulley. FOX13 Memphis: The Solution Is More Black & Brown Police
"To believe that the systemic problem is white people. And if you don't believe me, I want you to listen to this TV report, this is from Fox 13, Fox 13, the Fox News affiliate, and Memphis, Tennessee, and they said the problem here is we don't have enough black officers on the force and I want you to listen to how the reporter framed the argument. Take a listen. Back in Hispanic officers use force far less frequently than white male officers, problem is, like you said, few people of color want to be police officers. So a new look to the police force is going to take a new approach to targeting acquiring and training cops of color. They are so many factors that contribute to the decline of people going into this particular profession and all of those things can not be really answered. Hiring events, commercials. Police officer. Flyers. The city of Memphis like police departments across the country is pulling out all the stops to try and recruit new officers. All right, there you go. So the problem is that there are white cops. Do you understand what's happening here? You just had a case where 5 black police officers killed a man to if they beat this man to death and it's the white man's fault. That's what they want you to believe at Fox 13 in Memphis, Tennessee. These people are race agitators and they spew this filth every single day on their TV station. And I'm very happy to call them out on it. Because this is pretty despicable. So

Steve Kirsch on the FAA Lowering Health Standards for U.S. Pilots
"Joining us now is Steve kirsch, Steve. Welcome back to the program. So Steve, there's a couple of things I want to go through with you. But let's start with kind of the bombshell report. I'm going to play a piece of tape from Tucker Carlson's program and God bless Tucker Carlson for being one of the few people with a major platform to speak about this issue. And then I'll let you riff from there. Let's play cut 73 please. First thing pretty amazing that happened without much notice at all without any explanation publicly the FAA just made a major change in the health requirements for pilots with heart damage. The FAA is significantly broadened the acceptable EKG range for commercial pilots. Steve Kerr's reported this on his substack, now the change now allows people with injured hearts, cardiac injury, to fly. Steve kersh, walk us through it. Yeah, the basically they changed the PR interval. And so this is something that's existed for EKG since the beginning of the EKG since the invention of the EKG, the what's called the PR interval which has to do with a time for blood to go through your heart. It used to be in a range of .12 milliseconds to .2, .2 seconds. So 200 milliseconds. And that's always been the top level of the range. They changed it now, kind of, and nobody noticed it until just recently, and it's the U.S. freedom flyers. That actually noticed the change in this. Nobody else noticed. And so they brought it to my attention. I was talking to Josh yoder in a colony. He said, hey, you should really talk about this because it's not getting any play in the mainstream media for some reason. They basically, they moved the goalposts.

NHL Player Under Attack for Refusing to Wear Pride Jersey
"If you're not following the story in hockey, there is a hockey player again. I don't watch hockey at all. It's become a completely irrelevant sport. I don't wish them well. I think some of the athletes are really great people, but they've been captured by the very same woke virus. I hope the NHL goes through some restructuring and I think that's going to require some misery and pain. If any of you are avid hockey fans, you're going to have to explain to me exactly what about hockey and the values or the lack thereof of the National Hockey League that speaks to you. I hope their stadiums remain empty and I hope they go bankrupt because what they are doing is so aggressive. It is so hostile. It is so insistent that if you do not subscribe to the chemical castration of children to the trans agenda, we are going to isolate you, we're going to punish you, again, these are the people that the best way to explain the kind of new alphabet mafia is the people that came out of the closet now want you to live in the closet. It's not about inclusivity. It's about revenge. Okay, so you have Ivan provorov. Okay, he refused in the warm ups to wear a rainbow flag Jersey because he said it goes up against his Russian Orthodox religion, which is exactly right. And he also refused to use their hockey stick, and immediately it's exactly like that Seinfeld episode. What do you mean you don't want to wear the ribbon? Do you not support gay people? And the pressure of the entire national news media found another person to hate. Oh wow, he's Russian too. I bet he's Friends with Putin. And immediately, all of the otherwise miserable. Actually, they're still miserable. Chattering class of the twitterati and the mainstream press goes and attacks Ivan provorov. Let's play cut 60 NHL flyers defenseman. "Points of the world junior championship gets back to Regina and just has a boatload in his first game. With the Regina pats, so I'm wondering, I don't think anyone has ever touching the ray Ferraro season of what was 83 84. 108 goals in 72 games. I mean, do you know whose second place is on the list? The western Hockey League? Builder LEGO, right? Is it how many of you score? I thought it was Kyle Reeves. No, it's their legal, because I passed through he had Billy Dee had 96 goals. There you go. Okay, well, I was I looked at the wrong page because I saw Kyle Reeves with the tri city Americans and I'm like, eh, and he's had 89 in 90 and 91. Anyway, point being, tell the story because I know, I know someone approached you, you know, online to say, you know, if what was the question, if bedard played as a 19 year old, which he will not in the western Hockey League, could he beat your record? Well, if he played a full season, I'd say, so right now he's got, I think he's got 29 goals and 31 games. Last year he scored near a goal a game. And I think he would have come up with probably in the 65 to 70 range last year. So in two years, could he find another 20 goals or 25 goals, probably. I would say so here's the problem. If Connor bedard played as a 19 year old, certainly he'd be on the world junior team. So that would cost him 15 games. Ten to 15 games. I never got picked for the team. I only had 50 goals at Christmas. That wasn't enough for them. So I stayed the whole year. So I played all 72 games. I averaged a goal in half again, like a goal and a half a game. I think of it now. It's absurd. It really is absurd. But if he played 55, if he played 72 games, I think he could, I think he could give it a run. It's just ridiculous. The times were different. The goalies were different. We all know that. But he's just a different sort, man. He's a different player. And I think it would be really cool. It was a great question on Twitter. And I thought it would be fun. I love the thing to talk about. And man, I'll tell you, it would be, it would be really fun to watch him because he would give it a chase. Like a real, real change. A 100%. I mean, he's better on a goal per game clip now as you mentioned. It's crazy. 29 games. Okay, that gets you 7. Drake's a goalie game clip. 72 70. That's great. You need another 36. Well, like I said earlier, I don't think it's going to be touched, even by a great player. Like bedard. Some wild trades. And I'm not sure we're surprised by this because it happens basically every year. But maybe it's the quality of the players getting moved that generates the mammoth packages in return. Talked about the Regina pats. You remember Brent Parker, of course, right? Yes. General manager for the pat's president.

"A is probably thrilled to be going to the all star. Anyway. Torta raud has ripped the all started. I don't care. It's not think about this weekend. I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. You know, first of all, let me get your response to that. Does it matter to you? Does he need to be more respectful of the game of the players involved of the spectacle recognition? This isn't for you, John, the system for you. This is for the fans and it's for the league. So I'm going to stop there, let you answer, and then I've got to follow up that is league related. I think every coach could care less about the All-Star Game and who's going to them, it's more of a pain in the rear end than anything else. There's a different there's always a different way to answer a question. I mean, like he could say, I don't really care, but it's good for the players and the fans seem to like it, and the corporate sponsors seem to like it. Like that, that would be the easier way, not the John towards way of answering the question, but it would be the easy way to answer the question. But the coaches and the managers, they don't care. They're like, what does it matter to them? It's a couple of days off. And you hate it if your team's going well because you don't want to lose any momentum and you just don't, it's a non factor really to most people. Like that aren't going. If you're not going, you just look at it as a day off. A couple of days off. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Well, look, the NHL wasn't happy with this comment. And in fairness to towards, it was at the end of his availability. He answered, you know, he brushed it off and then he walked away. So the NHL reaches out to John, come on, like this is a major event, you know, it's for the fans. It's for the sponsors. It's for the players. He apologized. So it feels like it should be end of story there. But tell me what you think about Philadelphia, right? I'm looking at the Philadelphia flyers. And I just don't see it. I see that they've got some good players, Carter Hart has had a decent year in net. The hiring of John tortorella for that team and I'm sure we've talked about it on the pod before is curious to me because it's like ownership in Philadelphia said, well, you can talk chuck Fletcher about a rebuild or a renovation. We're not investing in that. So you go out there, do your best, John turnaround is available. Let's hire him to coach this team and maybe he can put us right back on track. And it just doesn't seem to be working. Look, they've had flexes where things have gone better. But that doesn't seem to change what appears to be an inevitable, does it? Like this team needs a ton of work. I can't for the life of me figure out that roster. When you say whether John is the right coach or the wrong coach for a rebuild, you could have anyone you want standing back there. And that team is a mishmash of players of various ages and contract lengths and I don't see any way that a complete restructuring has to happen. Here's the problem. And I don't forget into it later on or not.

Nothing. The kids love them. You love the fire all in. You're all in. A little different note. So I decided to read this stuff. And about general health and things you can do to help. And so I decided on January 1st, I was going to start. So now I'm ten days in. Every morning, first thing I do get out of bed, walk into the shower, three minutes in an ice cold shower. Oh, I knew you were going there with this. Okay, keep going. So first, well, it took me the first day it was like a 9 minute shower because it took me 6 minutes to get into the shower. I got my left hole in my right toe. So finally, you get in there. So I take my toothbrush in there, I brush my teeth for 45 seconds. So at least I move and then I finish. So then I'm like, oh, I only got two minutes and 15 seconds left. Then I get a bar of soap and I like soap myself for like a minute. By this time you're so numb, you can't feel anything. I'm telling you, people should try it. I feel amazing. It is amazing. Three minutes every month. So do you turn the hot water on after three minutes after you're done? I'm done. Three minutes. I'm done. My son mason dreger used to do this playing hockey rate. Before games, he'd do something so many. I mean, it'd be like an ice bath, but he'd get into the shower, but he'd go, you know, he'd be, again, brutally cold for like two minutes, three minutes, but then he'd turn the hot water on. He'd come out and he'd feel like a $1 million. Let's go play hockey. Wow. So all right, I'm gonna try that. I'll tell you, here's the first, the first ten seconds, though, when the water's hitting your head, it's like a thousand little tiny hammers. Hitting the top, you're like, oh. And then you get going. I love it. So I love it for ten days. So we're gonna keep idea first day on the road here, so I made it. So ready to go. Oh, we're gonna check we're checking back on this. This is going to be a weekly occurrence. And that'll keep me honest. That'll keep me on a strike. That'll keep me honest. I like it, buddy. So, I mean, for me, this is a nice touch.

Steve Deace: The Establishment Would Rather Lose to Democrats Than Power
"Ronna mcdaniel I'm really done with her If you don't have to comment you know why she was on Fox during the break with the same bowl I'm just tired of hearing about they don't have a plan No they do have a plan They're plan is we need to move the country back to fiscal solvency liberty oriented direction and move the freedom train back to the station and we don't think McCarthy's our guy So we're going to hold it up until the more conservative option steps up and if they don't then we'll stick with the only thing we got which is McCarthy That's a plan It may not be a plan you like because they don't kiss your ass but it sounds like a plan to me I mean I don't really I don't understand It's like Steve your take on the talking to Steve days by the way folks Check out his podcast Steve the thing is if ronna mcdaniel and the establishment wing of the party if they had a track record of success and said trust us I would say you know what I'm gonna take a flyer on this guys You got past pro life legislation You gotta balance budget amendment pass You got our military back up to full strength You got China on the run We got fair trade along with free trade agreements going Steve they don't have a single legislative success The establishment wing outside of tax cuts which is a great I love tax cuts but Democrats want those too because they move out of California and New York to get them They say they don't own publicity Just what have you shown us There's no record of success at all I'm sorry I'm not going to take a flyer on it I can't say it better than you did except to add this The people that run the Republican Party for many years would rather lose elections to Democrats than lose control to audiences like ours Period

"Of the games obviously started adding up, because I think both teams suffered technical files because of it. But in the Lakers case, you just need to keep your composure. I know Carmelo Anthony got called for one of those because he was arguing with the referees about it and Russell Westbrook started tripping and then they were just like, yeah, nope, got a call technical here as well. It's kind of an excusable, especially that late in the game when the hornets are creeping back and they're starting to take away a little bit of the momentum. It just gives them even more energy down the stretch there. And I think it takes the Lakers out of what they were doing so well up to that point. So it's one of those things where they need to just keep a cool head and stay calm and make sure that they play the game the right way and play through the calls because again, they got out with a win tonight, which is great. But I wouldn't be surprised if in the next couple of weeks, we have a similar situation and it costs them the game. That's just the way it's been trending. Yeah, and that's and that's unfortunate. I've got a comment here from YouTube that said can't out effort west brick. This was so we've talked a lot about how the Staples Center crowd is so excited. So in love with Carmelo Anthony right now. And for good reason. He's putting on a show, whatever he's played at Staples Center. He's been absolutely phenomenal. But we saw the opposite with Russ. You could hear there was a moment. I believe it was that over time. There was a moment where he had the ball and no one was near him, and he's behind the three point line and there were like 8 seconds left on the shot clock and you could hear the crowd kind of murmur. They're all kind of saying the same thing like, don't shoot it. Don't shoot it. Don't you? Unfortunately he didn't. But you could hear the crowd start to get frustrated with Westbrook's turnovers as well. So this is something to keep an eye on. And you know what? I thought up until the fourth quarter when the turnover started. I thought Westbrook was pretty good. He wasn't shooting the ball that well, but I thought his distribution was great. He was throwing. We talked about rondo's lobs. Westbrook was thrown some really nice lob passes. Maybe the best player of the season that early first quarter lauded Deandre Jordan. Westbrook I thought he was playing pretty well up until the fourth quarter when the turnover started really pile up..

"Size of a bottle bottles fifteen bucks for salton beano. But i'm telling you have on. Almost every piece of food has an interest a little bit. Yeah sure that's amazing and is awesome. It really pushes down the hunger. You feel satisfied after the meal. It's really cool stuff. So i decided just came up in my brain to distract down though. It's good good piece of information. But yeah i think it just kind of just mentioned there. You just helps curb the appetite and just flush the system right. I mean it's not craving cream food all day and stimulants. do i find a helping my craving of stimulants. I haven't. I haven't drank a sip of all gone over a year. But when i retired in two thousand ten i made the decision. I wasn't ever going to party like i did before. And i haven't. I've never really been truly drunk since then. But i have a glass of wine now and then but it was just like just so tired of just the way even one or two glasses of wine made me feel. The energy was off forever. Eight and then again. You got a call from vibrating. Naturally right yeah exactly so i find myself like the next morning having to like go deeper and work harder to maybe flush out those nitrates most of those winds unless you're drinking organic and even those are suspect a ton of poisons toxins And wherever else you by trying to push. I just felt like it was wasn't serving me any longer. So just a real focus on purifying the body an and cleaning the body and staying toppis once in a while you know. I mindfully every day you know. "And then what was the first steps of getting out because there are a lot of people today that are in your position. Now that you were in and i'm sure they'll learn something like that. What's a really good question and you know you make me think about that a lot. Here and I think. I think i really recognize there was something wrong. You know when you say when you talk about being a healthy person. Just thought in theory. I was my first year pro. I moved away move to the. Us from canada introduced to this kind of pharmaceutical world of muscle. Relaxers and sleeping pills and all this stuff again on the bus type stuff again. We're in the central hockey. Nhl so it's handing out prescriptions and stuff africans beers on the bus. The whole bit not saying that had wasn't drinking before i turned pro but i think it was like in that moment of taking on that role and then party you know. The party was now out of hockey. Now you're pro. You can go to the bars. And you know what i mean like. You're pro hockey player. It's gotta go drink beer and party and do the whole bit rate and then again this like the abuse of whether it was back in the day vallat and i remember that one week o on it was like my first real introduction to these anti-inflammatory world and the sleep aids and all this crap rate. I mean is garbage yet. Answer your question. When did i actually take initiative and do something about it and clean myself up. I was twenty eight years old. Still with the philadelphia flyers one more one way contract with the flyers and i decided to turn in my one way contract with flyers and to embark on this quest of him healing. What i did. I had a relationship with cannabis in a misalignment mushrooms. Previous to my retirement but again there were there were using a very recreational ways no a real understanding of the plant medicines themselves but basically i found myself in a crossroads when i went into the off season in two thousand ten where had a shitty year on my mind wasn't in in. It only played seventeen games guy. New coach didn't see a need for me was kind of like a crossroads of my career but also a crossroads. In my life i went to the off. Season sat down with general manager. If i went back home to winnipeg and he knew where. I was mentally and spiritually. I think he kind of scene. I was a warrior. But i was like you know what's going to happen next year. May go down to the minors and have to fight all these young punks. That are knocking on my door. Or am i am at peace with what i've accomplished you not saying that. It's you know in the grand scheme of the hockey world. That's anything significant. But i'm at peace with potentially being in the minors next year and be one year contracts. You know the next three or four or five years and being that guys bouncing around so going to the off season i guess putting some energy to the universe. It was kind of like. Give me a sign what to do. I don't know if i want to go to the minor leagues and five. I'm going to have to pay me. Five hundred fifty thousand dollars to do it. But what i wanna do. You know what. I mean about my past this. I'm kind of asking for answers two weeks after that meeting with paul holmgren the draw manager go back home to winnipeg give them my phone rings and homers calling me. He's like what's up. I was like hey homer are you doing. He's like listen he's leg..

"You know this meathead mentality of you know acting as a role elements of it as well as a half the back it up. You know. i'm fighting the biggest guys you know. Learning getting my ass kicked winning some. You know triggering myself out of this identity and early on. It was almost easy for me. Because i love the competition and i got an ego was chasing something that was maybe a little bit more superficial than recognize. At the time. I was chasing glory of chasing fame. I was going to be chasing my dream out of the fear of failing or failing my parents for all the time they put it. I'm not sure. But i was balls to the wall and it's hard as i was going on the ice. I was going off the ice. So you know. I've been over two hundred hockey fights in eight year span and obviously took its toll. you know. there's there's physical damage. I got disjointed fingers. And rhys my nose is clearly not straight and surgeries and the whole bit but between getting punched in the face and playing a hard game. Concussion issues including the body checks the phone on the ice. Yeah it's just like hidden by accident. You know vibe bruises things of that nature..
