Ultraflex Football
A highlight from 43: Week 2 Recap
"Welcome to the Ultraflex Football Podcast. Move over Pat McAfee. There's no denying that we are here to spice up your life and never forget about the good times. I'm your host, Anthony Sutton. With me, as always, is Rob Green. Man, I wasn't prepared for that change. What's up? What's going on? And Viva Forever, Ryan Wheeler. I feel so much pressure. Now we got to be better than Pat McAfee. All right. Oh, we got the... Go ahead. No, he's actually like swearing on ESPN now, and he's got like Mike Greenberg, he swore on ESPN now because of McAfee. He's actually... A little more laid back now, huh? Yeah, he wears a tank top. He's very good for ESPN, in my opinion. Go ahead. He's spicing up Disney, huh? I think I saw, didn't they have to put him on like an extra delay versus normal? I mean, I wouldn't be surprised. He has to cut out the F words a little bit, I heard. Someone's got to tell him to stop the cursing. No. Why? That's what makes it fun. I'm like eight song titles through my album here, so. Oh, he's like, damn, you're doing song titles already? Yeah, I thought you had to say him first. Holy moly. All right, well, we're about to find out what your song titles were. So Tony messed up two weeks ago. He didn't get all the song titles in, so now he has an album to himself, but because this is a team sport, a team podcast, Rob and I now have to split apart, or a album between ourselves. So Rob and I have Good Charlotte, The Young and the Hopeless. My songs are A New Beginning, Lifestyle of the Rich and the Famous, Wondering, The Story of My Old Man, Girls and Boys, and My Bloody Valentine. Rob? I don't know, man. I'm not feeling good about this week. This is a lot. Seven songs and a half hour show. All right, I got Hold On, Riot Girl, Say Anything, The Day That I Die, The Young and the Hopeless, Emotionless, and Movin' On. Tony, we're all wondering, what do you have? You have the Spice Girls, my man. And I already, I've gotten already into the pod. I've already gotten Spice Up Your Life, Stop, Never Give Up on Good Times, Move Over, Denying, and Viva Forever. I still need to get in Too Much, Saturday Night Divas, Do It, and The Lady is a Vamp, which will probably be a difficult one. Hold on, can you say that one more time? What was that? The Lady is a Vamp. Like a vampire, assuming? What's a vamp? It's a vampire. And that's from the Spice World album. 1997 made me feel old AF. 97, wow. I remember watching the Spice World movie, the Spice Girls movie. I do not remember. Oh, you guys didn't have older sisters, that's why. No. All right, anyway. Movin' On. All right, speaking of Movin' On, the NFL schedule moved on. We are now in week two, so let's get to Football Talk. And I guess technically we're in week three, so we're going to recap week two. As always, we're going to start with the Bills game, go to the Titans game, and then kind of what else is going on. So, Rob, you were at the Bills Raiders game. What were your biggest takeaways? It was a fun home opener. The Bills got back to their winning ways with a nice, easy, I'd even want to say I was worried at the beginning. It was a little annoying that they fell behind 7 -0, but I was confident they would still pull it out. They did. Josh Allen ended up AFC Offensive Player of the Week, I think the 11th time in his career now, which is pretty impressive. Wow, the franchise record. Oh, I didn't know that. Nice stat. You beat Jim Kelly, it was 10 times. Well, pretty nice. Feels like a new beginning for the Bills, for sure. Nice, Ryan. Where was I going with that? I told you guys a stat yesterday, actually, that surprised me, but Josh Allen is number one in completion percentage so far this year. I know it's only two games in, but fun little tidbit there. It's crazy how much can change week by week in the NFL, and it's going to happen again this week. If the Bills were to lose to Washington and go 1 -2, then it almost feels like the game, I know it wouldn't be a must -win, but it feels like the game against the Dolphins the following week would feel like a must -win. That way, they're not 1 -3 and that far behind the Dolphins, but yeah, it's crazy how much can change in one week in the NFL. Oh, show. My biggest takeaway, and I said it last week, kind of a similar takeaway for me was last year it felt like we never got pressure on the quarterback. This year, it feels like we're constantly getting the opposing quarterback pressure, and it feels like our offensive line is playing well, so big task, which is we're physical, we can run the ball, we can block, we can get pressure. It's a good change of pace. I don't know, honestly, I'm not smart enough to tell you if McDermott's play calling is a factor in that, or if it's just Leonard Floyd, hopefully his ankle's okay, is better, and Ed Oliver's having a better year, so on and so forth. Yes, I saw his average depth of tackle is negative yards right now, which is impressive. So his average tackle is a tackle for a loss. That's awesome. That's literally the definition of blowing up a play. So yeah, it's exciting. Obviously, this win means something, but it doesn't really if you go and lose to Washington, so got to two and one. Two and one, by the way. Oh, yeah. I think everyone does the thing where you kind of... Did we just lose our host? It kind of looks like a frozen face there. Okay. Hey, frozen face. Oh, Rob, it's you and I. Let's do this thing. All right. So I didn't get to talk about the Titans at all. Can we say anything now, because he's gone? Yeah, we can say anything. Say anything, say anything. Sorry, I can't sneak any of these. Good Charlotte. Anywho, girls and boys, my takeaway is that the Titans are who I thought they were. The team that... I guess who a lot of Titans fans thought they were. The team that's probably... You are who we thought you were. Welcome back, Anthony. Thanks. They're the team that's going to beat the good teams and lose to the teams they should beat. And that's how it feels like the Titans have always been. They keep every game close. They have a shot. They have a chance in every game. So they're not quite the young and the hopeless, but they're just maybe like the mediocre. No, they're not the young and the hopeless. Oh, I thought that was one of my song titles. That's the... Oh, no. Oh, no. Clearly. Well, okay. I guess I can cross that one off my list then. Anywho, you know who else I was impressed with was the Falcons. They play a certain brand of football. It's the NFC Titans. I think I have to be a fan of the Falcons now. But just ground and pound, they came back. They were able to pull that one out in Green Bay. So... Yeah. The Falcons. To your point, there's not many teams, I feel like, in the NFL that have an identity, like a true identity. The Falcons are one that you know exactly what you're getting every week. And that could be really good or it could be really bad. Oh, for sure. One of my week two takeaways is prior to the season, it was always... And I was the one on this podcast kind of leading the charge is how good the AFC is gonna be. And then if like through two weeks, which is, again, a small sample size, it feels like the 49ers, Eagles, and Cowboys are playing just as well as anybody. And they're all in the NFC. Now, the NFC doesn't have much else to offer, but those three teams are gonna be very formidable to whoever comes out of the AFC come Super Bowl time. Yeah. At this point, their high -end talent almost seems better than the AFC with a lot of the top teams in the AFC struggling. So... Do you guys think that three of the top five teams in the NFL are NFC teams? Maybe even three of the top four teams in the NFL? I think that's fair right now. Yeah. That's crazy, isn't it? Because before the season, it was like, the AFC is so strong, so good. They have all the good quarterbacks and two weeks is a pretty small sample size, but I think... I think at this point, yeah, it's safe to say those three teams are top five. I don't even know who you would put... I mean, I guess the Dolphins are probably the best team in the AFC at the moment. I mean, the Chiefs scored 17 points against the Jaguars. And I mean, the Bills looked very good last week, but you can't ignore how poorly they looked the first week on offense. So... And then obviously, the Bengals Chargers being 0 -2 hurts the AFC's, I guess, power rankings or however you want to look at it. And then Rogers being hurt. Those are three teams that I thought were going to have a very good season. They still might. Maybe not the Jets, but the Chargers and the Bengals.

The Truth Behind Critical Race Theory With Ryan Girdusky
"I'm talking to Ryan Gerdusky and we're talking about everything. We're talking about America and we're talking about, let's talk for a minute about a critical race theory because I think what's so confusing to so many people is suddenly in a few years various insane ideologies have erupted across the American cultural landscape. At the center of it is this thing called critical race theory and I'm against racism but I'm against critical race theory and the people involved in proponents of critical race theory, they're playing a game. I think this is basically what the woke people do is that they use terms and ideas that you would agree with but they've completely twisted the definition. It's like anti -racism. Anti -racism is actually very much a promotion of racism but who doesn't wanna be an anti -racist because it sounds like opposite as being racist. Yeah, so what happened especially if you read Marx is about the idea that workers would unite against the proletariat and therefore become and take over the government and kick out capitalism. That obviously did not happen because a lot of neo -Marxists out there and said America is just too prosperous for workers to wanna rebel. They own a home, they own a car. It's not going our way. They're not gonna, the workers are not gonna sit there and unite. So it transformed from a worker -based, class -based ideology to a race -based one where college -educated whites and minorities would have this grandiose alliance and conflict the ideas of capitalism. And it basically didn't go anywhere until the fuel that hit the fire, it wasn't even Floyd's being murdered. It was in 2012 when we had the riots in Ferguson. When the riots in Ferguson happened, terms like whiteness, critical race theory, other things like that exploded in our national conversation. You could look at charts and they increased by 1100 % in places like the New York Times and in major outlets throughout the entire country. And it becomes an entire context and conversation about race. During this time period, there are two spikes by the way in the number of African -American men who are being murdered en masse in this country. One is in 2012 following Ferguson and the second is in 2020 following the death of George Floyd when they have, when police scale back because they're being targeted. Let's be clear, isn't this always what happens? In other words, you have these crazy people saying the police are bad, the police are racist. So they create a situation where the cops go, you know what, I don't wanna walk into that situation. I'm gonna back it up because I won't get backed up if I do something controversial. So I'm gonna back up. So the cops back up and who suffers? People in poor communities.

We take your questions, we answer them. Normally it's Charlie, but now you got Blake and Andrew. Our first question, Blake, and I know this is near and dear to your heart because we're tweeting and texting about it. Andrew, I just saw a news story in the Daily Mail about a fake mass grave at a Christian school in Canada. I vaguely recall a lot of news coverage of these mass graves two years ago. I think the Pope even traveled to Canada to apologize. What's the deal? And that is Clive from New London, Connecticut. Clive, great question. This was a story breaking this morning. Very interesting stuff. Blake, why don't you fill the audience in on the backstory and then we'll riff. Yeah, Andrew. It's a great story and maybe the audience will like me more because we get to talk about an important topic in American life, which is that Canada sucks. One of the problems with Canada is they really have this national identity that they've embraced over the last few decades. What does it mean to be Canadian? It means to be America, but more liberal. More liberal in every way. They've been really out of sorts, especially since this George Floyd thing blew up. They're like, we didn't really have slavery. We didn't have this great historic crime. They kind of have this Me Too idea that they need to have a reason that they are also Hitler, that they need to be really ashamed of their history. And what they really fixated on was they fixated on these residential schools, which is America had these two. Obviously, they have American Indians in Canada or as First Nations as they call them. And to sort of try to Westernize them, Christianize them, make them sort of more culturally European, they ran these boarding schools or residential schools as they called them and educated First Nations children there for like about a century. And these schools had issues with them as you'd expect. They're often in the middle of nowhere. They were often on sanitary. Physical and sexual abuse would occur at them as has occurred in every and society in schools all around the world. But Canada really fixated on this. And then about two years ago, there was this explosion, this bizarre story where they started these kind of amateur investigators were finding, they claimed to be finding a mysterious possible mass graves at these various residential schools throughout Canada. And this fueled this insane conspiracy theory that children had been murdered in mass at these schools and then buried in mass graves and it was all covered up. And instead of debunking this, the government leaned in on it. And there were dozens of churches in Canada in response to this were attacked with arson attacks, vandalism, some were burned to the ground completely. Like, like I have the numbers 83 that were burned or vandalized. And if you could throw out that other graphic from UnHerd, 83 churches were burned or vandalized in the aftermath of this fabricated hoax. And this this I mean, this is an interesting graphic when they put it up. It says why the Canadian left is burning down churches while progressives tweeted churches serving indigenous communities burned 83. I mean, that's a shockingly high number. It's a huge number. And it really was it's like there are yes, there are anti Christian people in the First Nations community. But a lot of this is really similar to how you'd see it in the US where you have these very radical activists, often just like white activists in big cities. And then like, what are the actual beliefs of the First Nations themselves? Well, a lot of them actually just are Christians. Because, you know, the residential school succeeded in a lot of their mission. And then they get these their churches, which, you know, they might only have one church for 10s of miles. Canada is not a very densely populated place. And these places are getting torched and attacked. And Justin Trudeau's government sort of said like, Oh, well, we oppose we oppose these attacks. But it's very understandable that people are angry. They got the Pope to show up and apologize. The the question was correct about that. But now two years later, they're following up and they're actually okay, well, you claim the remasked graves. Let's dig them up. Let's go find it. And they're either discovering one, often they're just not they're they're just normal cemeteries. And maybe like the headstones, you know, the headstones were made of wood, and they decayed. Or there's just nothing there at all is this story that there was no bodies in this alleged mass grave, they literally had a massive meltdown, which resulted in an anti Christian spasm of, you know, arson and violence that the government enabled. And it was all based on a lie. And it was a lie to fulfill this, like, BDSM type motive that the left has where they like they crave this, a basement, they crave the ability to be like to wail wildly about how evil their ancestors were. And so like, again, it was like it was like me to George Floyd is like, we want to also be evil. We want to also be really racist in our history. We want to say Canada is evil. And so they just inserted this really grave crime into their history that did not happen. Yeah, I mean, I think I think it's it's pretty tragic, because we we've seen this too. And we have a video of this, I believe. Let's let's go ahead and play some of the fallout. As a result of this, not only were they burning down churches, they were tearing down statues, a movement that we saw happen in the United States as well. Let's go ahead and play cut 199. No Pride and Genocide. So here you have a bunch of petulant little children, also known as leftist, dancing on the the the the foundation of a toppled statue saying no pride and genocide. And meanwhile, they are. Yeah, go ahead. It's a statue of Queen Victoria, which the Queen Victoria did not really personally preside. I mean, she was a constitutional monarch. She's really just a symbol of the British Empire at its apex, but she was not running the genocide. She was just the queen of Britain. And but they again, they're like, well, America, they and their entire identity is so bound up with America. They're like, well, America's toppling Confederate statues. We don't have any Confederates because we weren't in the American Civil War. So who do we get? Get rid of the queen. Well, in this, this self hatred that the left has for their own history, you know, colonialism, patriarchy, whatever. It's really this insidious virus that has crept into the the West. We call it a collective psychosis in the Western world. It's, it hates anything strong, it hates anything exceptional, it hates anything that can dominate something else. So if you have enough power to dominate, whether it be indigenous populations in this instance, or become a global hegemon, because, you know, this is why you don't see the left, you know, especially our leaders in Washington fight back with any gusto against the de -dollarization movement that's happening. It's almost like they, they want to self flagellate to the point of parity with the rest of the world, if not us getting dominated by them. And it's a, it's a very distinct characteristic of the left, I believe the Unabomber actually had some interesting quotes about this, but like, maybe we can bust those out for next segment. But what do you think, and we've only got a minute in this segment, what do you think drives this passionate response on the left? You know, if I had a full easy answer to that question, I think it'd be easier to defeat this, because it really is. It is a profound force. You know, the Unabomber thing, he points out that they do, they hate the West, but not because of any of the bad things they've done. They specifically it is because they've been so successful. And in a weird way, we're victims of our own success, which is, you know, the West kind of flagellates itself over slavery, because we had the innovation of deciding that slavery was morally wrong, and abolishing it purely on moral humanitarian grounds. That was an innovation of the West that we have exported to the rest of the world. And our reward for ourselves is to destroy ourselves over this, or in Canada's case, to go the extra mile and invent crimes that did not happen, because we are so desperate.

Elevation with Steven Furtick
A highlight from Come Out Of The Cave (Daniel Floyd)
"Hey, this is Steven Furtick. I'm the pastor of Elevation Church, and this is our podcast. I wanted to thank you for joining us today. Hope this inspires you. Hope it builds your faith. Hope it gives you perspective to see God is moving in your life. Enjoy the message. So good to be in church today. My wife is with me, two of the four are with me. We have four kids, 16, 14, six and four. And yeah, same wife. Some people think it's two, no, same. And we just took a break and took a long break in between there. And the two little ones, they don't sit still long enough to get traveling rights. So they're at home, but we're just honored to be here. If you're ever in the Fredericksburg, Richmond area of Virginia, come say hello to us sometime. We would love to host you and love to have you visit. Sometime, honored to be here. I would be remiss if I didn't say at the onset that this house and the leaders of this house have made such a difference in our lives as I think all of us could testify to. Moments, sitting over there, hearing a message called Take Your Seat at the Gate that marked me at an inside elevation, a moment before service, praying together at Providence High School. Some of y 'all remember Providence. That marked me just moments throughout where something Pastor Steven said in a phone call, something in a message. I think we'd all have the testimony, some lyric that carried us through a moment of a song. And I just wanna say how much we love your pastors, Pastor Steven, Pastor Holly. What a gift they are to you, but what a gift they are to the body of Christ. Come on, can we put our hands together and thank God for our leaders today? What an incredible gift. Well, are you ready for the word today? Come on, I know this is a house that loves the word of God. And so if you have a Bible with you, Judges chapter six, we're gonna get to it and get to work and believing that God wants to say something to you today. Judges chapter six, start in verse one, read to about verse six. It says, again, the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord. It's a great verse to start with, right? Hey, welcome to Elevation. Israel did evil. Not smart guest speaker guy. Says that for seven years, he gave them into the hands of the Midianites. Everybody shout Midianites. Midianites. And because the power of Midian was so oppressive, the Israelites prepared shelters for themselves in mountain clefts, caves, and strongholds. And whenever the Israelites planted their crops, the Midianites, Amalekites, and other Eastern peoples invaded the country. And they camped on the land and they ruined the crops all the way to Gaza. They did not spare a living thing for Israel, neither sheep nor cattle nor donkeys. And they came up with their livestock and their tents like swarm of locusts. It was impossible to count the men and their camels. They invaded the land and they ravaged it. Midians so impoverished the Israelites. One translation says they reduced them to starvation, that they cried out to the Lord for help. I want to bring a message today. If you're note -taking type, write this down. If you're not, go ahead and write it down called come out of the cave. Come out of the cave. Let's pray together. Father, our hearts and minds are open. We've come to hear from heaven today. We haven't come to do some religious ritual, but we believe the word of God is powerful and alive and can change our lives today. So do that. Do what only you can do in our hearts and our minds. We pray this in Jesus' name. Everybody said a big amen, amen. So not too long ago, my oldest, Owen, who's with us, he's 16, starts driving next month. Everybody paid for my insurance bill. Please say a prayer, add that to your prayer list. He comes up to me out of the blue and he says, Hey dad, did you ever pull an all -nighter? And I was like, yeah, there were several times in college that I pulled all -nighters. Anybody else in the house? Come on, every campus, you pulled an all -nighter? Okay, I don't know if it's justification for my procrastination, but I just kinda like to say that I enjoyed all -nighters. I had all -nighters back in the day where you went to the computer lab. Come on, somebody. You didn't have no laptop in your room. What you talking about, spoiled? Went to a computer lab with my disk. Can I get an amen in the house of God today? My disk, put that in the slot, had to wait for a spot for all the other procrastinators that were in the computer lab. And then I'd work on that thing until about seven in the morning, run and get some breakfast, head to class, acting like I had that thing done for two weeks.

And it's fascinating because when you talk with people, they will say that it's sort of like a force of nature. There's not really anything you can do to get rid of it. Alright, each week on Crypto Cafe, we provide what you need to know this week in all things AI, blockchain, tech disruption, basically anything that's changing the landscape and all of it in roughly 10 quick minutes. So let's jump in. I am joined this week in the Crypto Cafe by Hug contributors Debbie Soon, chief growth officer of Hug and Michael Littig, director of creator programming at Hug. Hi, Debbie. Hi, how are you doing Randi? Wonderful. Even better now that I get to talk to both of you and Debbie's all the way on the west coast. Michael, you're a little closer. You're just like across some water from me. How are you doing? I'm good. I'm feeling some back to school vibes as it's getting a little cooler here in New York and always like to break through the Slack channel and spend some time in a virtual room with you. So I'm excited to be here. Yes, I I'm wearing long sleeves today, which is crazy. Alright, well, let's get into what's on both of your minds. So let's start. Debbie, you I want to hear some highlights about Beeple, a leading artist this week, because I know that's what's on your mind. Yeah, I mean, I think most people should probably have heard of Beeple. You know, he definitely made headlines when he landed that record breaking sale. Like I think it's sixty nine million dollars, you know, a couple of years ago. That's probably honestly what set off the entire fascination of NFTs, because I think all of a sudden everyone was what is this NFT thing? Like how did this piece of art sell for sixty nine million dollars and wait is just a JPEG. So, you know, I think I've definitely credited people for kind of raising mainstream awareness amongst everyone about what digital art is, what digital art can be. But I think a lot of people forget that he's been around for a long time. Like I know actually one of the favorite things that I always hear you say is that people always mistake overnight successes for being an overnight success. But it is actually years in the making. So, you know, people is definitely someone to to watch. I think, you know, he's showing his work in Korea in the next couple of weeks. He's got his own studio. So definitely a lot to pay attention to. It's incredible. I actually had the opportunity to interview people on this show, I think about two years ago. And you're right. I mean, I was asking, I was like, OK, so what what was it about this piece that sold for all this money? And I mean, he worked on it every day for years. I mean, imagine if you worked on something every day for a decade or more of your life. You'd certainly want, you know, hope that that would be extremely valued also. And so you're right. This certainly isn't just a, you know, throw something on a computer and then sell it instantly. Michael, any any thoughts or your thoughts on people? Yeah, two things. One, this is something I've been thinking a lot about. I think any creator, entrepreneur, artist can really take away, which is I would call a vertical timeline. Like you just mentioned, people was working on this for five years. He was experimenting with these skills of making digital art as a daily practice and just so happened to meet the moment when technology caught up. And so I just got off a call with Christie's. We hosted a conversation with Christie's at Hug kind of around the art of curation. And Sebastian, who's the digital manager of sales there was saying something similar about stacking skills. This is something you've also taught me, Randy, is like, how important it is for individuals to continue stacking skills throughout their life. Because there comes a time when those skills become needed, when the culture catches up or technology catches up, and you actually meet the moment. So what I loved about people in this article that was posted was how people is really trying to capture the zeitgeist of the internet, which is like, how do you capture lightning in a bottle? And I think part of doing that is simply showing up daily to it and responding. So I think that's the thing I listeners should take away from this. Yeah, and I always feel like Michael is the one that reminds me about how important it is to have a daily practice, because sometimes I realize I have a daily practice to even without, you know, realizing it like having coffee, for example. But you know, I think even some of the most incredible artists like Picasso has created 100, close to 150 ,000 works throughout his entire lifetime. And there really is something about just showing up committing to something and really getting better over time. And you know, people does that in a really, really interesting way, too, because he sometimes really chronicles the day to day or is almost like a political commentary and social commentary and all the different things that we're seeing and on the internet. I completely agree. And speaking of crazy things on the internet, Michael, you brought a topic to the table this week about how Pink Floyd is using artificial intelligence in just a ridiculously cool way. So maybe you can dive into that a little more. 100%. So I'm really inspired. So Claire Silver was on this program about a few weeks ago. And Claire Silver is what she would like to call an AI artist collaborator. She uses AI as a collaborator. And I think this is interesting. So this study came out where this scientist trained AI on these individuals listening to Pink Floyd's album, right, but they trained it on brain scans. And what happened is the brain scans were actually able to reproduce the melody, the pitch, the tone of the music at a 43 % success rate, which is like that kind of blows my mind when it comes to the possibilities of AI as a collaborator, right? I think of this and another amazing scientist that I got to interview a few years ago named Lawrence Doyle, who's doing something similar with whale songs. And I think there will be a time when I think we're going to be able to understand a whole depth of language and communication in ways we never thought possible. And so I'm like, this is like blowing my mind of like, how can AI be a collaborator to me? And what else can I illuminate going back to that kind of vertical access? And it's it's just really, really, really amazing. Absolutely. Debbie, I'd love some of your thoughts here. Well, I mean, I think the whole thing about brainwaves, like I would, I wish there was a way for AI to kind of read, interpret my dreams, like if there was any kind of patterns that it would pick up on, like, I have this very strange recurring dream of losing my teeth or my teeth falling out. And I feel like my brain is trying to tell me something that that AI could eliminate for me. Are you an entrepreneur, Debbie? Is that why you're having anxious dreams? I hope not.

The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election
"Deniers for things you would claim you were concerned about. Here's this article. This is that time when the Democrats advertised. This is Carrie Lake tweeted this out yesterday. It's what got me thinking about this. I'm not trying to, you know, one upper, by the way. So don't take this the wrong way. Team Carrie Lake. But this is an article we talked about two or three times, and she got me thinking about this. She was like, listen, read this article. This is the Democrats game plan on how they cheat. It's called The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign that saved the 2020 election. I'm only going to read to you a little bit of it, not a lot, because reading on the air is like the worst thing possible. hosts I hate when do that. Let me read to you a 600 -word treatise. No, it's not. But this part's important. This is where they describe the conspiracy and the players and what they were planning on doing. It's just one paragraph. It says, There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that curtailed the protests. They're talking about Floyd, the George Floyd protests, and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left -wing activists and business types. The pact was formalized a in terse, little -noticed joint statement from the Chamber of Commerce and the AFL -CIO published on Election Day. And that's interesting, right? They used to be rivals. Chamber of Commerce versus the unions. Both sides would come to see it as sort of an implicit bargain inspired by the summer's massive, sometimes destructive racial justice protests, in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace. Here's the money and line opposed Trump's assault on democracy. So here they're laying it out. This piece is long. I'm just reading you small slivers of it. But it talks about the conspiracy to interfere in the 2020 election, a very down to earth, regular kind of average everyday Joe terms, business titans, government, labor unions, left wing donors, left wing activists, the Chamber of Commerce,

So it's hard for a lot of us to process that this could happen in America. So, John, thank you for taking on the subject in your article. It's hard to know where to attack this. But first, let me tell you, stuff like this has happened in America before President Woodrow Wilson imprisoned Eugene Debs, the leading critic of American involvement in World War One, put him in prison for years for violating the Sedition Act. He languished in prison for years as if he were a German spy for simply saying he didn't think Americans should be drafted to go fight in World War One, which Woodrow Wilson had run for president, promising to keep us out of. So this kind of abuse has happened before. And no surprise, under a Democrat president who was called a progressive. Well, let's be clear that as evil as that is, as evil as that was and as comforting as it is to think that we have been there before, the idea that they're doing this to a man that was at least once elected by the American voter to lead the country that was probably elected twice and is beloved by scores of millions in this country. It is a chilling thing that things have become so politicized that that they would do this. And and, you know, the charges, I mean, you're mocking it in your article at Stream .org by saying he's indicted for witchcraft, heresy and Sabbath breaking. But it might as well be that. Now, let's get into that, OK? First, I want to ask a question and see if you have an answer to this. When Kamala Harris went on television and said that the George Floyd riots wouldn't stop and she thought they shouldn't stop. And when she put a bail for people arrested for arson in those riots, why was she not charged by a federal prosecutor for insurrection? inciting There's there's an answer. Do you know what the answer is? Eric Lancer, she's a light skinned pseudo black woman. No, no. The First Amendment to the Constitution. Oh, oh, the First Amendment. I forgot that that's still in effect. I'm sorry, John. Yes, well, I take back my previous answer. Yeah, well, it still applies to Democrats. That's the point of a narco tyranny. A narco tyranny is that the whole complex of constitutional and civil rights exists if you're on the side of the people in power. And we have all sorts of laws that can be minutely applied and used to prosecute people. But they will not be used if you're allied to the people in power. They will be used if you oppose the people. Excuse me. Let me let me clarify.

Excuse me. Let me let me clarify. It it doesn't have to do with the color of a person's skin, because we know how the left hates Clarence Thomas. Right. And how they hate others. In other words, it has to do with what's in your mind. It has to do with what you believe. And if your beliefs are not consonant with what they believe, they think of you as an enemy and they will come after you. And that's basically why they're going after Donald. So it is it really is the ideology of the mafia, the ideology of a of a Latin American drug cartel. If you are on our side, we will protect you. We'll go a long way to protect you like they protected Jesse Smollett. At some point, we might throw you under the bus like Michael Avenatti, because we don't need you anymore. But you can get away with a lot. If you're doing it on behalf of the Biden regime and if you're doing it on behalf of the deep state on the other, you can burn down cities. The rioters who attacked various cities across America are winning legal judgments against the police because they rough them up a little trying to get them to stop burning the city down. Meanwhile, they tried to send Kyle Rittenhouse to prison for life or first degree murder for defending himself. They hounded Jake Gardner, an American combat hero, to suicide for defending himself and his elderly father from rioters attacking their business.

The Hugh Hewitt Show: Highly Concentrated
Christopher Rufo: Black Lives Matter Is Based on False Statistics
"Where I left off with Christopher Rufo was talking about the rise of critical race theory. And the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, Christopher Rufo, took a lot of America by surprise. And I wrote in the Washington Post that, as you recount, the murder of George Floyd and the events preceding to that, Michael Brown, Jacob Blake, many other incidents, gave rise to this ferment. And then the murder of George Floyd was right in front of everyone. But you recount in the book, Black Lives Matter is based on a faulty premise, that police violence resulting in death against unarmed black males is quite widespread. It's not. You bring the stats, as told by my newspaper, The Washington Post, what are the statistics? And then let's work into the ideology that are based on false statistics. Yeah, I mean, the statistics, in some ways, you know, obviously, any any instance of especially an unjust police killing is a tragedy and should be handled by law enforcement. But, you know, most of the people who are killed by police are armed, dangerous and in active confrontation with with police officers. And if you look at the unarmed black man, which is the kind of key demographic for the Black Lives Matter narrative, you're looking at maybe slightly more than a dozen cases. But just because you're unarmed doesn't mean you're not a threat. In a year, in one year, we're potentially a lethal threat. And so the numbers are not commensurate with the rhetoric and the numbers, even such, you know, again, because just because you're unarmed doesn't mean that you're not dangerous or potentially lethally dangerous. And so the number of unjustified shootings is even smaller than that in a, you know, a large country with millions of police encounters per year. But the the BLM movement, much like the Black Panther Party movement that was preceded it by, you know, half century, they both knew that this is the the key rhetorical mechanism to gain power. And I found in my research, the Black Panther Party, memoirs, interviews and other other materials from the time period from the 60s and 70s, they said very explicitly, we attempt to bait police officers and caught in confrontation. They were running ambushes against police officers. They wanted to and and and stoke confrontation, because they believe that the violent confrontation was the police with the police was their best recruiting tool. They said that very explicitly and their best promotional tool. And so the narrative around, you know, police brutality, the narrative around confrontation with the police, the narrative around, you know, so called disproportionate criminal justice sentencing and prison numbers has been part of that rhetorical toolkit since the very beginning. And while it may have felt new to many people in 2015 to 2020, it may have felt like fresh ideas, fresh language, fresh concepts, you know, everything down to the actual vocabulary was already fully developed by 1968.

Mike Gallagher Podcast

"Any excuse to throw down some James Brown, but I got to thinking I wanted to make a point here. I know why you're doing this. Yeah, James Brown is not what you would call a movement conservative, and James Brown saw Jim Crow in his face for decades and loved this country. Mike loved this country. So I don't know, man, not everybody has to. I'm thinking Living in America is not on Megan Rapinoe's playlist. Or maybe it shouldn't, well, and maybe Living in America shouldn't be on her long -term bucket list of plans. I'm not a love it or leave it person. You get to live here and hate the country. It's part of your free speech. But doggone it, is anybody mystified why somebody who hates this country and tries to jam radical trans ideology down our throats, why it's a little harder for people to root for that team, it broke my heart, Mike, to see them lose. I wanted them to win, but to see them lose and then to have people just joyous, just celebrating, not just our American loss in the Women's World Cup, but because it was largely because of her shanking a penalty kick. It ain't the way we should be. Okay, it's not the way we should be, really. So let me put you on the spot a little bit, my dear friend. Sure. Are you joyous over seeing a conservative, successful attempt to get the attention of Bud Light or Target or Bed Bath and Beyond? Enormously so. So it's the same thing. I mean, it's the exact same thing. Except it's not because this is my country. What country is Bud Light in? But Bud Light is not my country. The men and women who wear our uniform in international competitions. That is our country on the world stage. I call BS. The Women's Cup, the US World Soccer Cup is not my country. Bud Light's my country. There's a whole bunch of hardworking men and women who are drivers, who are distributors, mom and pops, who have been decimated by the Bud Light pushback. And guess what? We sit back and we find that joyous because finally, whoa, companies are getting the message. And that's an American company. So all I would humbly submit is, if you're as... I know, draw your tears. I know. I know. You know, I mean, come on. It's soccer and nothing wrong with that. But here's what I find even more intriguing than the joyous response to the women's team losing. After the big loss at the World Cup, Rapinoe gave an interview, of course, gave interviews after the game was over. And she was asked what her favorite memory of playing for the US soccer team was. Do you know what her answer was, Mark? I would think it might be representing our country, wearing the flag, making my country men and women proud of us on the world stage. I'm guessing that was not it. I'm not kidding you, equal pay. The memory of fighting for equal pay so that women could make as much money for his men in this, of course, bigoted, offensive, awful. And she didn't say that. Those are my words. But she did say her answer was about equal pay. It had nothing to do with playing on the field. It had nothing to do with representing the United States of America. Or even teammates making these friends for life and bonding with them in an effort to bring... The failure to establish equal pay. That's her favorite memory. So I think we can all pretty much agree, and I hate to get personal, she's a pretty reprehensible character. She just is. And it's too bad that she became the face of the US women's team so that now millions and millions of people were delighted to see her shank the penalty kick that she could have been the hero and instead she lost. Would you kindly address the other one I brought up of where our minds and hearts have been broken a little bit? Can we start with the notion that if anybody sees a meme of George Floyd with crab legs coming off him and it's under the knee, like under the sea from Sebastian the Little Mermaid, that that's disgusting and that to even like it is unbelievably stupid. So far so good? So far so good. NASCAR driver Noah Gregson did exactly that. He's been indefinitely suspended. He should not lose his career. His apology should mean something However, dude, how stupid do you have to be? Are you with me on that? I guess I am. I mean, it's like you said, he's a 25 year old guy, stupidly liking something, but you also have to be pretty careful. If you're in the public sphere, you better be careful. You got people watching you. You got people following your every move. You've got a public persona. I mean, I know you're careful. I'm careful. And it's not hard. If I saw that on somebody's Instagram, I don't have to stop and think about it for 10 minutes. Like, huh, should I like that? In South Lake, we had a couple of cops fired because they got up on a whiteboard, no pun intended, and drew a swastika during a recruiting meeting. How stupid do you have to be? So, I mean, it's just dumb stuff. And you don't, I mean, how people don't follow the, like you said, the little, does it pass the smell test? Is this something that could get me in trouble? I mean, if you're in there now, you and I are in a little bit of a different world than a NASCAR driver, but certainly a NASCAR driver has the ability to say that, Hey, I'm going to like something here. This could get me, you know, get me some headaches. And in line with that, I got to ask you about the, what's the Dallas express? Is that, is that part of the Dallas Morning News? It's a no, no, Lord, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, is it conservative? It is by all means. It is a, it is a news site of conservative value. Oh, okay. Cause I've never seen it, but I, the article came across my desk today about sign, people have noticed over at the American Airlines Center in Dallas that a funny take on American Airlines woke policies and they've gone woke. I mean, American Airlines is all about diversity, equity and inclusion and all that. And so they've got fake signs up, focusing on the big high profile boxing match between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz. The signs were located in different places around the arena in Victory Park and other parts of downtown Dallas. Some of the signs said things like, welcome to woke American Airlines. My pronouns are he, she, it, lost baggage.

Pat Hodges Details Her Journey With Hit Track "Love Revolution"
"Let our listeners know who you are. I did a little intro on you, but it'd be nice for you to tell everyone Oh, okay. Well, I'm Pat Hodges, formerly of the group Hodges, James and Smith And I did a solo record, almost a whole album, not too long ago, and it was produced by Peter Angel And my favorite song on the album was Love Revolution Because I still agree and recognize that the only thing that conquers hate is love Okay So, all the kind of revolutions we've had, we've had black and white revolution, and we've had George, was it George Floyd? And, you know, police, you know, killing black people and white, you know, it's just bad Yeah, I definitely agree And we need to turn that around and use that same energy for love, to love one another I agree, I totally agree Yeah Because I wanted to say something real quickly, as what really, you know, annoys me about, you know, the whole of the world Is, I've been watching these, you know, World War I and World War II, where, you know, black people weren't recognized for what they had done And they were so discriminated, and I'm thinking to myself, you know what, why? We all bleed the same, we're all the same We're all the same Exactly, the only thing that's different is our skin colour, that's all Yeah, that's all Well, you know, we all have a heart, we all bleed the same We're all the same Mmhmm Bleed the same colour Absolutely So, I mean, so tell us your journey with the love revolution Well, I'm going to tell you, Peter and I and Marion Ramsey, I don't know if you know who she is, they wrote the words And then Peter did all the music with his Pro Tools and his piano, he did all of the music And we wanted it upbeat, because we wanted people to, when they heard it, we wanted them to wake up Yeah And we wanted them to listen Basically like a get up and dance together kind of feeling Yes, yes Amen, that's what I felt Yeah, because Get on one accord, you know, get on one accord with one another So, after he wrote it, there's actually an extended version where there's no words, it's just the dance music And it was written long before, I mean, after the dance, you know, disco movement It was written a long time after that But the idea was to get everybody up and get them on one accord and to love one another That's the big thing, that's all Absolutely, totally agree And so the journey really started when I was out of the group And then the other girls, Jessica and Danita, they passed away So I was kind of on my own, I was all by myself So I was doing shows and doing little light clubs And Peter came up with this song, Love Revolution,

The Charlie Kirk Show
A highlight from America's Cultural Revolution with Chris Rufo
"We have a great guest for the full hour, really smart man, Christopher Rufo, author of a very important book that you should purchase, America's Cultural Revolution, by Christopher Rufo. Christopher, thank you for joining the program again, the subtitle of the book is How the Radical Left Conquered Everything. I have been encouraging our audience, it's about Mao, it's about Mao, it's about Mao, you know, kind of in politics, we talked about Stalin or Hitler and Mussolini, I think too much. Mao doesn't get as much attention. Before we talk about America's Cultural Revolution, catch us up to speed about Mao's Cultural Revolution and what can we learn from it and how does it apply today? Well, Mao understood, you know, Mao was of course the great Chinese communist military hero who led the communist forces on their long march and then conquered the country, established a Marxist -Leninist state. But what he realized by the 1960s was that leveling the economy, reshaping everything on an economic front and a political front was not enough. And that in order to get the true communist utopia, he believed, you had to also level all attachments to the prior culture. You had to really wipe out the connection between the people and their cultural history and replace it with left -wing Marxist ideology, which then became known as Maoism, famously made concrete in his little red book of quotations that was spread around the country at that time and still to this day. And in America, though, what's happening is something very similar. The radical left realized that they could not bring a socialist Marxist working class revolution to the United States. In fact, most middle class Americans and working class Americans were totally against that kind of movement dating back to the 60s and 70s. And so they said, what we have to do is infiltrate the institutions of culture and turn those great institutions against the American people to change how they think about their past, their present in order to influence their future. And so now you're talking about America's cultural revolution. When did it start? And we could talk about how they've conquered everything as you throw out because your book is super smart and you make a lot of great points. When would you say was the beginning of America's cultural revolution? The beginning point is actually quite clear. It's in the year 1968. That was when the so -called new left came to prominence. You had student activists and left -wing intellectuals mobilizing in the universities at the same time that you had what was thought of as the underclass mobilizing through riots in America cities, more than 100 different cities around the country. And this is the genesis of this coalition that has stuck around to this day. You have the intelligentsia working ideologically, trying to reshape people's opinions, attitudes and beliefs. And then you have the streets, the inner cities, what was called the lumpen proletariat, the people at the fringes of society mobilizing in a physical and violent way. And so what you saw established, that basic dynamic in 1968, all of a sudden you fast forward 50 -some years to 2020 with George Floyd and you see it emerging again. You have the editorialists at MSNBC and the elite left -wing media working with the BLM movement that was really mobilizing people to violence in America's cities. It's the same pattern over and over and over. These folks have been doing it not by accident, but very deliberately. They had a plan to get the institutions to march all the way through America's prestige economy and then to turn these ideas on using events like the death of George Floyd as a focal point in their campaign. So in the book, I'm really glad you start, chapter one, Erbert Marcuse, the father of the revolution. This is a name that most Americans aren't familiar with. Politically involved people would maybe know Saul Linsky, right? Maybe Antonio Gramsci. But Marcuse, elderly philosopher, took the dialectics of liberation, you write. What did he believe? What is the Frankfurt School? And I'm told, Christopher Rufo, by the media that the Frankfurt School is a conspiracy theory. Christopher Rufo. Yeah, I guess it's a conspiracy theory, but it's quite interesting because left -wing intellectuals prior to maybe 2015, 2016, they celebrated what they called Western Marxism or Cultural Marxism. And they said that that was a line of thinking in the academic literature that was highly prized at the time. And then all of a sudden, once it became well known and it became unpopular because these insane, ideas are then they said, no, no, no, we can't talk about that anymore. That's a conspiracy theory. And they tried to take all their own work and kind of hide it in the corner. But Herbert Marcuse is really important and his name should be just as prominent as Saul Linsky's name. And I, because I think he's actually more important because while Saul Linsky was a master tactician, he knew how to play the game of activism at the tactical level. Herbert Marcuse was really the intellectual godfather of the modern left. He realized that the traditional Marxist revolution was a failure. He looked at the Soviet Union and realized that that could not work, wasn't working in the Soviet Union and wasn't working anywhere in the West. And so all of the ideas that Marcuse originated, the ideas of the new left, the idea of the high -low coalition, the idea of changing cultural perceptions in order to change politics, the idea of using extra -parliamentary power, meaning street activism and the threat of violence in pursuit of political activism, the idea of repressive tolerance, meaning repressing certain ideas, all conservative ideas in places like universities and forcing left -wing ideas into the discourse. All of those ideas that you see all around us were already written about, thought about and originated and perpetuated by Marcuse in the late 1960s. So if you want to understand our current moment, you have to understand this man, you have to understand his ideas and you have to understand his strategies for achieving power.

I like to share it Because it's I Think it's important So I'm reading a book on World War two except this one is with regard to Japan not Germany and once again, I am reminded of the atrocities that the Japanese inflicted upon the peoples they conquered in Asia, I Had known for example Trigger warning here for those I Won't be graphic I know my I'm serious my producer Is Despite his persona Extremely sensitive not to himself No, I said not for yourself exactly So the Japanese in conquering China Used Chinese civilians just randomly picked the way the Nazis Used Jews and Russian prisoners for medical experiments Cutting people open without anesthesia and I won't tell you the others. I'm well aware of them I've studied good and evil all my life Especially good because it's so much rarer And They used Korean women as you probably know as coke so -called comfort women women Young women whom they would take and have Japanese soldiers rape Repeatedly Does dozens of dozens of soldiers And I don't know ten a day whatever the mass rape was So now I'm reading about their treatment of Filipinos They would gouge children's eyes out smash the children against walls to have their brains shattered and They too used Filipino women in the exact same way. I did not know that till I read this book Why do I tell you all of this? a Number of reasons one is I don't find the trips to Hiroshima Meaningful That vast numbers of people in Hiroshima Nagasaki because of the atom bomb suffered Is known and is is horrible But the general Trend these of Pilgrimages to Hiroshima is to portray the Japanese as victims and the Japanese have largely accepted that role I Have been to Japan a number of times. I enjoy my trips there very much. I Find the people particularly friendly So This has nothing to do with feelings towards Japanese nothing zero it has to do with feelings towards right and wrong and I realized something that dawns upon me periodically The ignorance the overwhelming ignorance among people Americans among them but not solely Americans the ignorance of the world and its past Is staggering Essentially people most people know nothing They know George Floyd, that's what they know They don't know what the Japanese did They know that the Americans dropped an atom bomb on Two cities in Japan. That's all they know It's like all they know is about American slavery But they don't know about Muslim Arab slavery Of Spectacularly greater numbers and Even greater suffering in many instances because they so often castrated the men And it was to say the least there was no anesthetic in those days Because they didn't want them reproducing Everything that we are told or largely everything is rooted in ignorance People just don't know what has happened They don't know what is happening today How many readers of the New York Times know that the Columbia journalism review Excoriated the New York Times in Washington Post for its years long lying That's the Columbia University journalism review. It's the gold standard of journalism Magazines or newspapers. What's not a newspaper? journals I'm shocked that they even did it to be honest. Columbia is as woke as you can get There is a great Prager you video when what is the title of it let me know when you know People don't know How many times do I say to you we know what they know and they don't know what we know Meaning the left. They don't know what we know Left and right tend not to know what the Japanese did Russian collusion and the death of journalism is the name of the five -minute they're all five minutes Prager you video You should see it The left depends upon ignorance to make its case America is Portrayed as if it alone essentially was this horrible society The left compares America to a semi -perfect country The right compares America to other countries there is no other way to make a moral judgments and Noah was a righteous man in his generations says the Bible in Genesis The man and whose family God saved from the flood He was righteous in his generation Because that is how you are supposed to judge people in their generations We have a video one of the oldest of the Prager you videos It's magnificent given by a Catholic priest historian on the atom bomb You should see that one too, you should see them all In our way, we're trying to fill the Grand Canyon esque holes Craters of ignorance Our motto is we teach what should be taught It's not an ad for Prager you and if everything's free anyway but Prager you It is a statement of the role that It needs to play I try to play that role in this show That people do not know what the Japanese did When they speak of American racism has one leftist Ever uttered the words Japanese racism Japanese racism Meant that you could be medically experimented on you could be gang -raped every day That's what Japanese racism was about Filipinos were inferior Chinese were inferior Koreans were inferior How many kids at Yale know this I contend zero Maybe three Hey, how many professors at Yale know this Racism So I thought I'd share that with you it's coming up a few weeks right the annual pilgrimage to Hiroshima is in it in August My heart breaks for those people who were burned to death Who are fixated by lack of oxygen But I think people need to know what brought it on You Natural disasters airline cancellations and runway near -misses supply chain issues Inflation rising interest rates and sky -high government debt.

"America. That's why I wrote my book specifically at the church, but you are so right Floyd to talk about this. If everyone does not get involved, it's like a war effort. You know, we talk about we got to defeat Hitler. Everyone was involved. Everyone in America was involved. And if you weren't involved somehow, you were ashamed. Properly, because somebody else would be suffering because of your lack of involvement. And this is even more important because America is the last great hope for the entire globe, Eric. If America loses its bulwark of freedom and democracy, there's no place to escape to. You know, when you had Germany, you could escape. You could go to Britain or you could go to America or you could go to another place where you could be safe and be free. There's no place to go in the world if the globalists take over America, there'll be nothing from stopping an entire global empire, which if you read your Bible carefully is, in essence, the beast system that we see in the book of revelation. I mean, it's hard to believe Floyd that what you're saying and I've been saying as well is actually happening now. Like we always thought, oh, it'll happen in the future somehow. What will it look like? It will look exactly like this, folks. It's pretty dramatic, but if you want to pretend it's not happening, again, you're helping it to happen. You're working for Antichrist. Now, you might know that. We're here to tell you this chance to get out of that. There's a chance to repent. There's a chance to do the right thing. But you have to hear God's warning, everything Floyd is saying everything I am usually talking about is a warning to say, folks, please try to hear the truth about what is happening right now and stop listening to the siren song of cowardly or confused Christian leaders who don't want any part in this. They were leaders just like that when the Nazis rose to power. And because they decided to sit on the sidelines, satanic evil triumphed in Europe. That is happening now. And Floyd, I'm just so grateful to you for writing about it as you have. Yeah, when I was when I was young, my grandfather, who actually he was a missionary before World War II to Indonesia, Eric, and he was actually chased out of Indonesia when the Japanese invaded and had to make his way to Australia and then back to the United States. So, you know, as I was a young man growing up, he was always tuned into the signs of the times. And he would talk to me and share with me from prophecy in the Old Testament and from the book of revelation about things that were happening. And I remember back in the 70s thinking, you know, how in the world could anyone ever control all commerce? Because it predicts in the book of revelation that, you know, there's going to be a system that controls all commerce in the entire world. And I said, that can't happen, but today with Central Bank digital currencies that are just around the corner, Eric, it's absolutely possible for them to control every single transaction that's ever made. For the first time in the history of the world, ladies and gentlemen, the Bible predicted it. Wow, what a surprise. God could see the future. Yes, he is outside of time. He tells us in advance. He warns us, typically we ignore the warning..

"I can't believe you're talking about this crazy spiritual stuff Lloyd. This is a very, this is a professional program. We don't talk about that kind of stuff on here. Just kidding, I could not agree with you more. You know that about me. What you have just said is absolutely true. What we are facing, apart from God, there is no way as you've just outlined in succeeding. We need God's help just as we had in the American Revolution. We need miraculous intervention in addition to the Continental Army. We need we need George Washington. We need all these things. But without God without appealing to God or as Washington would say to Providence, there's no way we can succeed. So I'm really glad for you to bring this up because I think things have had to get this bad for most Americans to wake up to the fact that at its heart this is a spiritual battle. This is not just a battle politically. There's still a lot of people naive enough to think that this is just a political battle. It is not just a political battle, not at all. Yeah, and that's why everyone has to be involved. No one can be on the sidelines. Right. We have, if we're going to take this country back and especially, you know, I know you have spoken out extensively to the church, but I also talked to the church and that is we have to get churches off the sidelines. There's a heresy that's crept into the American church and we have to continue to call it out and that's this heresy that there's some kind of separation between church and state. When you become a new creature in Christ, he takes over all of your life. He doesn't just have a piece of your life. He wants all of it. That means he's over your job. He's over your family. He's over your church. He's over your government. And so we want him integrated fully. Everything we do. And listen, anybody has just been triggered by what Floyd said, let me break it down for you. We're not talking about theocracy. On the contrary, the principles in the Bible lead to freedom, which is to say religious freedom, which is to say everyone is genuinely free to believe as they like, not to believe, but the point is that the separation of church and state refers to the opposite of what most people think it does. It refers to separating the church and state to protect the church to be the church, not to protect the state from the infiltration of Christians. You know what happens when Christians infiltrate? They abolish slavery. They abolish Jim Crow laws. When Christians infiltrate when Christians get involved, which is utterly constitutional and legal and protected by our founding documents, good things happen for everybody. And so I'm so glad you're bringing this up, Floyd. As you know, I go around the country talking about exactly what you just said. When the church thinks like, you know what? We're going to be on the sidelines, folks. If you're on the sidelines, you know who is with you on the sidelines, the devil is with you. That's where he wants you to be when you say, I don't want to be, that's not my lane. It's not my lane. I just want to be a theological. I just want to preach the gospel. You're preaching the gospel of the devil at that point. You've been diluted. It's okay to be diluted as long as you repent. But you know Floyd, we were talking about the Reichstag January 6th being a Reichstag event. This is exactly as you know what I write about in my book letter to the American church and you're putting meat on the bones here because the idea that pastors and churches around this country have been diluted into thinking that it's safe to be on the sidelines. Folks, if you are not involved in this in one way or the other, just as Floyd just said, you're working for the other side. There is no neutral ground. You are helping the Nazis to win you're helping the Chinese communists to promote sexual slavery among North Korean women smuggled. You're helping evil. And I think that's a hard message for people Floyd, but we've got to get it out there. So I'm just so grateful to you for talking about that in your book. Here in Phoenix, we have a little elementary school district called the Washington school district. And people are wondering why one of the school board members is a quote transgender. She's an LGBTQ activist. She doesn't identify as a woman. She doesn't identify as a man. She identifies as a kitten. And she wears little kitty ears to the school board. She's on the school board. And wait, wait, wait, wait..

"And unlikely alliance of Americans fighting back for faith and freedom. So Floyd, you were just talking about the January 6th narrative. And I can't get it through my head. How a lot of people that we thought were on our side, some people who were friends of mine still believe the lie, the fake narrative of January 6th, they're not doing a darn thing to help people languishing in D.C. jails. This is as evil as it gets in the United States of America. This was pushed by many Republicans, even some really good Republicans like Ted Cruz, you know, kind of gave lip service to it like, oh yeah, it was terrible things happened. Show me the terrible things. What are you talking about? This nonsense, if this is, in case anybody has read my von off for book, this is the Reichstag fire. This is a government taking advantage of a chaotic situation to demonize their enemies in a way that had never been done in the history of the United States before. So please continue. No, you're absolutely right. And as I was saying, the morning after Tucker showed just a little bit of that January 6 footage. And so we have to realize there are facts and then there are fake facts. And for the last few years, since January 6th, we have gotten nothing but the fake facts. And so Tucker finally was going to show us some of the real facts and what happened. The next morning, you expect Chuck Schumer to go to the well of the Senate and denounce Tucker Carlson. And that lovely nasal voice he has denounced the evils of Rupert Murdoch, but right after him was Mitch McConnell, who did the same thing. And then they were followed by a group of Republican senators, all spouting the same thing, this completely false narrative. And it's as if they don't understand what was going on. And I want to remind everybody what was stopped that day. Was stopped that day was Paul gosar was just preparing to give his objections to the election of 2020 and he was going to lay out the facts. Excuse me. That's exactly correct. Folks, are you tracking how sick this is, how evil this is, they concocted this whole scenario specifically to stop the stop the steal. They knew that the facts looked very bad for them. They knew what they had done. It was being dealt with and they said, let us now pull out all the stops. We will do anything, including murder, Ashley babbitt, will do whatever needs to be done because we can not let these principled conservatives who love America actually dig in to what just happened. Now, I knew Ted Cruz was going to speak a lot of folks were going to speak, who was Paul gas gosar. Paul gosar was the congressman from Arizona, who was going to lay out how the election was stolen in Arizona. So, you know, those of us who've been involved in elections for a long time. I mean, I've been involved, Eric in four wave elections. The first one as a young man in my 20s was the Reagan revolution. Huge wave election. We thought it was going to systemically change the country. Then by 1994, I was running citizens united. And we had the contract with America and Newt Gingrich and we thought that was going to be a wave election. It was a wave election. We thought it would systemically change America and it really didn't. Then came by the time the Tea Party came around in 2009, I was running western journal. And I spoke at no less than 50 Tea Party rallies around the country. And the truth was, we thought that was going to change American. It didn't, and then of course the maga election of 2016 that we were all convinced was going to change things because not only did we have the House and the Senate, but we had a president of the United States. We had the trifecta and even despite that, we couldn't repeal ObamaCare. So, you know, I think what I wanted to do with this book was some introspection. Why is that? What was it about those wave elections that made them different than one that will really change America? And I came to the conclusion Eric that what we needed was a twin track system. We have to also be involved in spiritual warfare. The truth is, is those four wave elections were the activities of men and the principalities and the spirits that are over Washington D.C. and these other major cities have to also be held in check by spiritual forces and that means at the same time we're organizing on the ground. We have to go out and be involved in spiritual warfare and call upon Jesus and his mighty army to defeat those principalities, which are keeping these evil people of power..

I thought we were friends. You don't even tell me you were writing a book. And suddenly Shazam, here is the book called counter punch. You and I are brothers in the faith. We are conservatives. We love America. You're a lot taller than I am. Now on rumble, people can't tell. So I'm going to pretend that I'm a couple inches taller than you. But I want to say Floyd that when somebody writes a book like this, my first question, kind of a dumb question, but why did you write the book? In other words, you're talking about things in this book that I imagine, I agree with. Why did you feel that it was important for you to write a book on where we are in the country? Because you have a great reach through western journal and you are, I mean, look, you've been in the political life for years. I wanted to mention up front. You worked for Ronald Reagan in your early years. Why did you feel, what is the central message of the book that you felt I have to put this out there? So there's several reasons why I wrote the book. Number one, it's my time to step back and western journal produces news every day. And that news is what's happening that day. And that's like the first version of history. I want to just step back a little bit, Eric. And deal with some of the false narratives that have been pushed on the American people the last three to 5 years. And to do a broader cross section of what was happening right now. So that's part of why I did it. I also did it because I think we're at such a crucial time in history. And I felt like there was an ability to help people deal with those false narratives. False narratives are intended to make people feel powerless. Correct. And, you know, I mean, look at the COVID narrative where we all were literally put on house arrest and isolated and we couldn't go anywhere. And so it made people feel powerless. And I wanted them to understand that they still have the same power that the founding fathers gave them and to encourage them to step out in faith and to really retake this nation. If we're going to retake America, Eric, it's going to take every single one of us coming together in unity to take America back..

"Intense. It's a great fucking video. When you're a dog handler, you see that video. I got goosebumps to this day. And that was 30 years ago, 30 plus years ago. When I hear that song, I see that song. I'm right there with all these mad men. All of them, you know, all these canine handles. And we would just take over the bar for that one song. It was pretty a lot of camaraderie, a lot of camaraderie Mach Flynn was with me, you know? A lot of camaraderie and that song was a rally cry. Wherever we were. So, good memories with that one. That's pretty cool, man. Thank you for your service. You're welcome. You're welcome. Thanks for smoking dope drinking tea in 87 during the Pink Floyd concert. How do you think Roger Waters felt back in the day, you know, in 87 where he thinks that he is the heart and soul of that band? And he pulls out and all of a sudden they pull him out of record that ended up on a number three on the charts. I think they were prevented from number one from Michael Jackson's bad. There was another record that was like number two at the time. I don't remember what it was. But peaks at number three, they have one of the biggest tours of the year. They're all over MTV and whatnot. How did he respond? He sued them. Yeah, yeah. Yep. They sold his buddy solid grapes. Those guys a whole nother conversation. He wanted he wanted to, you know, the rights to the name and all of that stuff that got really, really ugly. And that Ben never really recovered. I think they played together at live 8. You know, Rogers and David Gilmour have done a couple of things. There was a musical music memorial to Sid Barrett, where some of the guys from Pink Floyd played in Roger Waters. They were all there, but they didn't play together. And then rod waters and David Gilmour played a benefit show and then at the O two when Roger Waters did his last the wall tour where they did the wall in its.

"75 million. And negative space. No, actually, you know what? You're right. They are number 7 at 72 million. Then AC/DC is 75 million. And to end it out Elton John 78 million Billy Joel 84 million Led Zeppelin a 111 million eagles a 120 million and The Beatles with a 183 million albums solved in the U.S.. So I was right. You were right. That's a good guess man. Yeah, they're number 7. Yeah. You're gonna send me a king of Facebook mug? No. Some hot sauce? You don't get that? No. You don't get that. Apparently, you dogged me on the show early. I don't forget. No. No. Which album? Which album do you like better do you like the wall better? Do you think that dark side of the moon is better? I think dark side of the moon is better. I do. I think the wall is a, it's like listening to quadrophenia. You know? Yeah, it's a concept album. But I think my favorite album is wish you were here. I think that's my favorite Pink Floyd album. Why? I just like it better. I mean, I don't know if this particular reason why. Why I like the Pet Shop Boys. Why? I don't know. It's a good album. You know? I just like it. Yeah. What's your favorite album? I think dark side of the moon is my favorite Pink Floyd record. Really can't go wrong. I think dark side of the moon, the wall, and then wish you were here. Although the song wish you were here is way up there for me. I just love that song. Yeah, that's a great song. So by that time, so Sid Barrett had been out of the band for what? 7 years, you know, so he left between 67 and 68. They recorded wish you were here in 74, 75. So one of the interesting stories about that is is wish you were here is predominantly about Syd Barrett. And there are elements of dark side of the moon that are about syd barret as well. They were really kind of haunted by that whole experience with him. And one of the interesting stories is as they were recording, wish you were here. They looked in the control room and there was this.

"There was a channel that it was the predecessor to HBO is called the star channel. Do you remember that? I remember star channel. The star channel. I don't know if I don't want to steal your thunder. But the one thing that I remember about star channels. So this is maybe even about the same time and maybe even just a tiny bit before HBO. And the thing that was kind of interesting about star channel is they would show one movie a day. They would show it at 6 a.m., 9 a.m., 12, you know, three, 6, 9, you know, maybe one later, and then they would show a dirty movie. Late late night. Yeah, and that's when you got the antenna and you try to maneuver it. If you didn't have it, you know, everyone had a hack. They didn't call it a hack back then to get star channel one way or another. And you could just see enough of the dirty movie. But here it is, you and I, you know, two old guys talking I remember back in the day on TV where they would show one thing or a long. Just think someday some kids, some kids gonna be saying, yeah, I remember when TikTok was first started, I watched it when I was on TikTok when it first started. They'll be telling that grandchildren. But anyways, I digress. My introduction in 1972 was over guys scarpa's house. We hung out. We would just kids so in 72 I was what 9, right? I was born in 63, right? And he had star channel. And my introduction to Pink Floyd was the film live in Pompeii. You ever see it? There was 70. 1972, the film. It aired on star channel in 72, right? That was the original film. And I remember watching that and like you said, I couldn't really get it, right? I watched it, though, because it was fascinating, how they did it inside this kind of call.
