"And how does it serve the public interest for you to be talking about these things. I'm not saying it doesn't but i'm interested in hearing your perspective on that before i did a lot of these interviews. I spoke to my ethics council. About what i'm allowed to talk about it when i'm not i do not talk about any ending pieces within my jurisdiction or pending investigations within my jurisdiction but if there are cases outside the jurisdiction then i was given the green light to pine. I do think it helps break down the barriers between the public and the criminal justice system. I i i am worried that the people the country are cut out of what's going on. In the criminal justice systems they have a lack of faith and transparency. I mean grand jury system is so purposely secret that it has a lot of mistrust involves so. I think what i try to do is to open up doors and allow people to take a peek in without violating my ethical requirements. Within my own jurisdiction. So i hope that helps. I pride myself when i go on these interviews to take these complex legal subjects and make them accessible to everyone who don't may not have a lottery. Well that's good for podcasts. Like that if. I don't want to go back to the january. Six the proud boys roger stone southern florida seems to have a little bit of a cluster of of proud boys activity. You not only have roger stone whose been associated with it. The chairman of the proud boys Was based in miami. Not not the county where you are. There have been a number of people from the january six capital assault who have been charged from your area including a former police officer from northern miami. North miami and curious were reading a lot about what federal prosecutors are investigating vis-a-vis january six. But i'm curious what our local prosecutors doing there have been allegations that the proud boys and white supremacist infiltrated police. Departments are very active In law enforcement communities. What are you doing in the wake of january six. Well we at the local level enforce state laws so if it's a federal crime. Us attorney's office chan prosecute cases. If someone from down here travel to dc and committed crimes up there on january six then the local. Us attorney federal prosecutor can pursue charges but not a state. Prosecutors were limited to stay crime. So it's but are you worried that members of the proud boys are are in law enforcement departments now that you've got employees in your office who may be members of the proud. Boys are white nationalist groups. Well if we ever had an indication that there were members of hate groups in our office we obviously take action. There is no such indication but as far as law enforcement as a separate department. I do speak with the sheriff frequently. And he's aware of the fact that the whole country is on edge about this and that white supremacist. Violence is the number one terrorist threat facing our country not just domestic terrorist threat terrorist threat. So he's on notice and he does a good job as far as you know. They require psychological tests inside their department. Something that prosecutors don't. We don't have this heavy of a psychological testing behavioral health questions like law enforcement employees but we are aware of our employees in if there is a red flag. We're going to jump on a limited take you back to sex trafficking for a moment because does occur to me that your office had one of the most infamous sex trafficking cases presented to it some years back and declined to prosecute. I'm talking this is before you were the state's attorney i'm talking about the jeffrey epstein case which was right in your backyard and as i remember it they One of your predecessors refused to a bring any charges against jeffrey epstein yet the jeffrey epstein case kurt several years before i got here to this office. I'm gonna make that right. Yeah i understand. Yeah i know i was. I was a state. Senator back then and i was watching from afar. What was what was going on. What you're referring to is the state attorney at that time very krisher took the case to a grand jury and they came back with two misdemeanor counts and he was criticized for that on offense came in took it over and then they reach this deal. That was widely criticized. And i think most controversial part was. There was a a part of the deal that made secret so that even the victims were not told of what was going on. They were totally cut out of it. And the whole thing was a real cluster. As they say that's a technical legal term of you can say the whole term you can saying to cluster fuck isn't elected and so having second yes of course. The feds took a lot of heat. The us attorney kosta for having those provisions and not being tough enough on epstein. But i believe your predecessor. There was the first guy not to aggressively pursue. This case. You say went to two misdemeanors we were just talking about gates getting possibly up to life in prison when when epstein was doing far exceeds anything. We've heard alleged about matt gaetz. Well mike i am not gonna defend any of the actions of anyone involved in the epstein investigation. I think there were many mistakes mayor. Did they drop the ball. While number one the laws were different back then that a underage girl who is committing sex accent change for money was under the law a prostitute committing crimes today. Rightfully that young woman is a victim that child is a victim and the laws have been changed thankfully because that's the way it should be and that's why by the way you see the matt gaetz case the seventeen year old girl. She is not a prostitute law. She is a victim so back then the laws were different..

"Up to lies. How bad the facts are. But we don't know yet. So i say it's up to life and i do think the greatest threat to mac aids may not even come in. The investigation of ham is certainly not investigation of the alleged extortion plot. That's a whole 'nother matter. But i think it's in the investigation of joel greenberg the former hack electric seminal county who has every incentive to flip on matt gates gates biggest fish and it is a lifeline for greenberg that gazes brought into this. Because now you can tell and knows all ex- explain the connection between the investigation into joel greenberg and the and the gates investigation. Because i think a lot of people don't quite understand that joel greenberg former tasked liker for seminole county and gates are good friends and their social friends from big being political buddies and they according to the reports that came out that they were using the. Site's like uh seeking arrangements. Dot com and sugar. Daddy dot com. This is being in news report so i don't confirmation but that they were using that to meet women and then paying for them in exchange for sexual acts now. One of the girls early was seventeen. Now i think that is obviously the worst thing permits because that takes you into the child sex trafficking laws if they were eighteen or over then to have sex trafficking you have to have force fraud or coercion. But if you're under eighteen as victim you don't need force fraud or coercion. The laws are much broader much more protective and we now know that the girl in question in the matt gaetz investigation is under eighteen. Because it's the same girl who is at the center of the joel greenberg charges so greenberg charged with having sex with the same girl that allegedly gates did yes. And that's the key point here. How do we know that. How do we know. It's the same borough the reports that have out. We greenberg is being charged with With child sex trafficking or a seventeen year old girl and the reports are that it is the same seventeen year old girl issue with matt. Gaetz that the two of them both engaged in this comic allegedly and that they use apple pay in cash apps to compensate this girl. And all you have to show for child sex trafficking is that you enticed you recruited you transported. You harboured any of those things a minor for sex in exchange for something of value. So you don't even have to have sex with her to engage in child sex trafficking if you're the one who enticed the girl to have sex joe grimberg if you transporter if you were the one at the airport and drove her to. The hotel left her there joel greenberg. You could be charged with child sex trafficking so amac gaetz says. Hey here. my defense is number one. I never had sex with anyone under eighteen number two. Let's see i'd paid for sex. Well you don't have to pay for sex or have sex with someone under eighteen to charged and convicted with child sex so as a prosecutor who has has probably investigated similar crimes although not this one in particular before. Tell us what you think so. Far what stage of the investigation are they in how far based on you've seen the evidence based on what's coming out publicly. How far along are they in the investigation. How soon does matt gaetz need to think about Or not he's going to be standing in front of a judge facing a a pretrial hearing. I think this investigation is coming to a close. I think you will see a charging decision made imminently because the separate allegation extortion is blown up. Mackie's has been identified publicly as subject of not a target of the investigation. And these are the kind of things that sort of happened when investigation reads reaches its conclusion fact that lord up in hired two prominent criminal defense lawyers shows you that. He's expecting something to come down. So i think this is going to happen sooner than later. Is roger stone in palm beach county these this. He apparently lives in broward. County in broward county south asia because he was apparently A friend of both gates and greenberg. There's been pictures on social media of the three of them together and he's also been you know very much On the radar screen of the folks investigating The attack on the capital on january. Six do you have any insight into where the the feds are headed on that one. I'm not sure but. I think that the feds could if they wanted to pursue federal charges against roger stone because even though he was pardoned for his convictions that he was remembered convicted for obstruction of congress threatening a witness he was not pardoned four other things that could have been charged with obstruction of justice as a separate crime or perjury. That's a separate crime. Obstruction of congress is different than obstruction of justice separate separate charge and running a witnesses different than perjury separate charges. And if you're wondering how could he be charged at the federal level when he was pardoned by the president is because the pardon was not very brought pardon was for crimes he was convicted of. And if you then ask well. Why wasn't the pardon much more broad. I think the answer is that screwed up and it wouldn't be the first time you saw a screw up in the trump administration if only their competence had matched their nefarious nece. We've been a lot more trouble. Hey dave let me ask you a question about your role as a as a local. Da because I you know for years covered the justice department so we covered federal prosecutors who tend to be very circumspect about open investigations whether it's their own or others and you on this podcast. I think elsewhere you know predicted that president trump is gonna be Indicted that Matt gaetz indictment is imminent that The feds could pursue charges against roger stone. What what are your obligations in terms of opining on on these kinds of investigations..

"Still don't know. Did you the active investigations into governor. Disentis i do not aware of any but i just asking we do not. We didn't okay. I want to go back to the Public steel quickly. If i could isn't isn't one of the arguments it's being made about it. That while palm beach may benefit from this decision because there are plenty of public says you know. In the in the county there are large number of other counties scattered throughout The state of florida which are poorer or have You know a greater percentage of the population that are African american or latino and there aren't a lot of publix stores there so the the decision that dissent has made really benefits wealthy white residents of florida and really disadvantages is that is that. Is that the story behind the publix decision or is it a. Is it something else. No i think that is a big part of the story. But remember when the federal government. I distributed these vaccines. They gave the states the unlimited authority the full discretion pretty much in that allowed to santa's to choose his own rules and the state of florida is one of the few states that did not have a comprehensive vaccine distribution plant. That's the way to santa's wanted it. That allowed him to pick and choose which communities got it to choose publix if he wanted to and one of the big controversies. Is that wealthier. Enclaves like in manatee county a wealthy enclave that got the vaccine before anyone else and were given priority. Where if you didn't live in those zip codes. You could not get the vaccine. There's another enclave in largo where they got the vaccine or others and so people want to know. Is that illegal. The answer is no because the governor set up the rules and it is not breaking the rules. He set up. It's so yeah when you have people flying in smaller the world to get vaccines in florida. That wasn't against the rules. Either because the governor did not set up residency requirement to obtain the vaccines. It was just. You had to be over sixty five. Let me ask you about One of your more prominent constituents in palm beach county the former president of the united states who seems to Have a lot of legal issues around. The country is under criminal. Investigation in york over his finances fulton county. Da appears to be investigating the events after the election. Do you have a role to play when people want to serve subpoenas on the former president or compel his testimony in some way in other jurisdictions. Mike were an uncharted territory. Here this is never happened. We don't have peace law. On how to prosecute former presidents. I i do think that manhattan d my counterpart up there. Cyrus vance junior is going to. I'll charges or indict the pres- corn president At some point this year before advanced leaves office. He's isn't working on that investigation for about three years. And you don't get to worry is now without having something to work off. He's got something. And i think that decision will happen before he leaves office so i anticipate a charging decision this year and most likely will be. I think to chart now. When that happens i can anticipate that. Florida's governor may try to stop the extradition of former president. Back to new york. Now he doesn't have really any grounds to do so. It's really a ministerial duty to rubber-stamp the extradition but he may try to score some political points with his base by trying to stop it. I mean after all. I thought that congress's role in certifying the vote was ministerial on january. Six and we saw what happened then. So so let's say he does. What happens then. Where does this go to court if it goes to court again. This is uncharted territory. But i can envision that state of newark would have to file a federal action in florida to require the president to be extradited. I don't think it will be hard to do. So because the only substantive grounds that i know of to prevent extradition of one of our residents is that it's the wrong guy is a case of mistaken identity which of course does not apply here so to santa's may try to win political points by trying to block the extra addition. But i don't believe you can't and a court ruling would require the former president go back to new york. Another complicating factor is that. I don't believe the secret service will want any other law enforcement agency to put their hands on the former president. So we'll see what happens. But i think it will happen most likely later this year and any attempt to block extradition out will not work that. It's not just the cyrus vance and new york there. As i mentioned the fulton county prosecutor who's investigating on the election fraud and then there although civil suits all over the country right but i think the greatest existential threat to the former president comes at manhattan i. I'm not sure if atlanta's gonna be able to do anything at least not before your doesn't new york is farther along and i think that's really were or president. Trump has to work well. I'm speaking of people who might have something to worry about these days. there's congressman matt gates from the panhandle who seems to be in some legal jeopardy now. You've been outspoken. I think you were on. Tv the other day saying that gates could face life in prison or these charges now. We should preface this before we get into you. Don't know what the fbi and justice department has in terms of evidence against matt gaetz correct. I know as much as you do. My road and when i say up to life is up to life. He is facing if he's charged with child sex trafficking a mandatory minimum of ten years in prison but it could go up to life depending on. What the evidence is and the aggravating factors right. I mean what. What would what would bump this up to. You know up to life in prison. What charge would get you. There would get in there. There's a conspiracy involved a that bump it up. The other charges could come into play the conspiracy identity theft because number. Joel greenberg is being charged with identity. Theft there's wire fraud there's campaign finance violations on top of all that also i believe at the federal level. There is a special enhancer for violation of public. Trust if you are an elected official in your busted so there are a number of factors plus when it comes to child sex trafficking depending on what the details are could get.

"Using the teleprompter finally able to you know get all the way through the song which big deep breath there and I looked over at Shane. I and I could see. He was like superstock. Brian Tyler they seem to be really stoked about it. They make a comment about how you know before it was already great. The Hook was really great but this is definitely more commercial. Definitely more them and a definitely easier to follow and understand so you know that kind of checked. All the boxes for what we're going for and I was just really proud at that moment. That even if they don't pick the song I think we'd good work and I was excited. Just basically be able to chill out now and just wait for my fate. I guess and the song that we're going to say back to the studio and record is GonNa be second guessing. Couldn't believe it. Because he said they were coming in for a party song they wanted like some big upbeat radio smash kind of sounding song and so. I didn't know if second guessing was at all what they were looking for. But you know. I was really excited that they picked it. They said you know great work really excited about the song cited to get back to Nashville and see what we can do with it and it was so cool Griffin's awesome. I think with the help of Shane. He really took that on to the next level. But I don't want to sell Griffin Short. Either I mean he came in with the bones of that song and with probably the toughest thing to do is do a really clever twists and play on words and I think he already had that nail down soap up to Shane in Griffin as a team to sort of blew all the other pieces together and we were highly impressed. Yeah we're leaving with the love song you know feels like it's good for us now. I feel like it could be good for us. Fifty years from those timeless classic and which can't wait to get studio and take one more deep dive tighten up anything that needs titan getting our vocals on it and just some time with getting no the song a little bit more. We tell them to come. Hang out in the studio in Nashville when we're recording his tongue and hopefully wheel and we can learn even more from him but he's just an awesome got my name's Griffin Palmer. I'm super stoked. Everyone was super supportive I didn't really have time to process it all you kind of have like a bunch. "And then the last part of the song that we wrote was the bridge so we really just wanted like a really poetic really big statement. It's kind of like Olympic artsy but also really substantial like I want you forever but I'll settle for life I want you for a Said off and I think we know that that one you're really sight of them got you know when we writing some songs we kind of really nit pick a melody. Someone will actually play the melody on an instrument before anyone things it or are you just punch in a bunch of different versions and listen a bunch of times the fear what you like best but this one. I think it was more so about the lyrics and the in the story. We didn't really like nitpick a melody at all. It was kind of like just what the first or second thing we started singing and then we never changed after that we just thought it felt really good and we just kept it really lazy and really easy to sink there was some harmonies the second and third course but other than that is literally Acoustic Guitar. Bb's life and kind of put another shot of Adrenalin into her career wail and she was already doing great things so just really really cool to see and through that we were inspired to continue to show up in l. a. and and chase our dreams and see what happens. I think one thing that I think for both of us. That was interesting and also different for this song. This quote hit if you will most of the time if you're going to radio with with the song or the next single no matter who you are artist. There's marketing dollars going out there's content. There's all this stuff that's going with it to make it pop but this one was i. Let's put it out see where it goes and it just happened. It didn't need anything other than being a great song and just kind of that. Perfect timing and so I think for us. It was just like holy smokes if that could do that like what. What else could happen? I mean it's kind of wide open with creativity and the power of a song and power fans power radio power streaming and the access that everybody has to songs and access to share them with their friends and family. We've always been known and have always loved to kind of record songs that feel good songs. That are fun songs that we WANNA sing live. Every night songs at the fans can look forward to come into and letting loose. And I'm just having a good time. So obviously we have our holies are dirt and things that a little bit more depth to them and You know love songs. Were both happily married crazy in love with our wives so that really resonates with us as well but we also like to party man would like to have a good time especially when making music so I think the overall picture of our music and our catalog would kind of be somewhere in there. I think there's a lot of things that make a great song I think replay ability. I think if you get done and you want to hear that thing again that says a lot but has a lot to do with melody. Catching HIS HOOKING S. I think lyrically is important but I think melody is just as important or maybe even more than lyric. Because what's what you want is for that song to be stuck in someone's head and be be an earworm as we call it but lyric also sometimes does that captures. Y'All marriage of painting the picture and just really helping that song resonate and and be relatable to the listener. We Really Love the concept of Song. Land. The fact that it showcases and songwriters mean became moved to Nashville songwriters. That's what we thought we were. GonNa do for career and it kind of turned into the artist thing but ultimately were songwriters heart. That's our number one. Passion so to showcase to the world that not all artists write their own music and they're actually as a career called songwriting and there actually is a lot of importance. Put on on the we say without a great song. There's no foundation for anything so the song comes first before anything else and I think. This show really does a great job of doing that. We came to song land to find a great song. We know the possibilities are pretty much endless with the amount of talent that esther. Shane and Ryan have these songwriters. We Love Shane. Legend undeniable energy and talent. Obviously he knows how to write a great country song. He knows a great songs period. Could Casey must gray hit one day? Then he could read an F. Geo hit one day and then he could do something out here in La for usher you know and so I think being that versatile is pretty cool. He's just incredible. I mean his personality breeze creativity even just being around him. You feel more creative and you feel more alive and energize and we just love saying Esther Dane. She's incredibly talented. Energy is amazing and she just got this fire. I think Shane said that she speaks and hooks. I mean she'd say something like that's a song that's a song toe so I think just the creative juices flow with her rise. Incredible obviously so gifted talented. That's a no brainer. But just as a person we've spent some time with him as well on this trip to watch how he navigates his own life personally and professionally. He's an amazing family guy. He amazing songwriter but then he also creates opportunities for tons of other songwriters in. It's just inspiring to us. I mean we've we've so much from shine Estrin Ryan but Ryan just a really laid back cool do he really is a just in marble man we look up to him to be honest and admire all the things he's done and hopefully have a lot more opportunities to make a lot more memories with him. Man is awesome. We were just excited to be a part of Song Land..

We've had some success and thankful for our fans and I think we're more motivated than ever our still the same guys showing up trying right. Hits China right songs trying to get our voices heard. So it's an amazing thing to be able to chase our dream and create our future with creating songs. I would say that our catalog just kind of evolves with every album with every chapter stage of life that. We're in baby a all. We both had to kind of tell each other who we were and then it was one of those kind of special nights where we were just trying to channel who we were. We were really intentional about you. Don't country song. We're not gonNA write a pop song. Ub You let us be us and let's just see what happens here unless it's a great song. We did it that night. We did a little demo. So David Garcia. Who was there that night and he just started playing chords on the piano. We said Yeah. Let's roll with. That feels. That feels cool. It's hard to get down to the details too much because it really did just feel like the song fell out of the Ska and so when I when I think back on details. It's really kind like I. I don't remember a whole lot other than it feels like. Those coach started and then we started. Just be our sales in writing what we wonder right back. No need fast singer here. "But I think I think LSU Florida. The Mississippi State ranking is kind of confusing to me given what they lost defensively and how much they struggled on the offensive side last season. So I think the SEC really when you talk about those three teams, Texas ADM's. Mccurry preseason option. Yeah. The Auburn has been so up and down under Gus malzahn. I think the SEC when you look at these rankings is kind of the most interesting conference because the rains for some of these teams. I mean, I could make a case for Florida all the way up to maybe seven. And then if you didn't wanna put Florida on your top fifteen K to talk Jay Crowder charter about the rankings. Again, it is may third these things can change and they will change Jacob as we look at the top. I mean, it's I I mean. mean, I know I know I know it's been Alabama in Clemson the last two years. But I mean, there doesn't seem to it seems like they're getting even farther ahead of the rest of the pack. There's not there's a clear gap between two and three. I mean, Clemson Alabama and then to some degree. It's everybody else, and you had Georgia Georgia three Oklahoma Jalen hurts for and I think really in Ohio State. I put it in that tier two you could really bring down these rankings into tears, and there's there's a tear at the top two teams. And nobody else even has a case for that tier? And then I think you have the Georgia yet, the Oklahoma, you know, the Iowa State, maybe Notre Dame. And then I think it seven to like twelve you have another tier any go from there. But I mean, the the easiest the easiest part of this ranking is one in two I mean, it's Clemson it's Alabama. And then you worry about the rest, but I can't imagine. There was anybody who filled out a ballot who didn't have Clemson one in Alabama too in. In that order, and quite frankly is there any real way, and doesn't doesn't doesn't matter. No. But is there any real way to differentiate the two right now than what we saw in in early January. That's all you have to go off on. And I don't think you can project out Trevor Lawrence a little bit. You would think. Okay. You didn't play his entire first season. Got better was awesome in the playoff. You would think that with what they have coming back around him that he'll be even better. Don't always work out that way. But I think if you were projecting out what Trevor Lawrence could be this season other than going off the national championship game. You know, that's how I can figure that rank. And I mean this time of year you mentioned it's may third what I'm trying to do power rankings or preseason polls. Look at two things primarily who's the quarterback. And what is the schedule of like, and I took schedule out of the equation for this particular ballot. But when it's close I always defer to who has the better quarterback. And that's kinda why I like, Texas and Oregon so much as I feel much better about what they have at quarterback than some of the SEC teams who I had a little bit lower. Okay. Let me stop you. Because you just brought up an interesting parallel here. We have Texas in Oregon organ plays Auburn touch plays LSU. First Auburn, we don't they don't have a quarterback. Mel John is narrowed the field from twenty four to two and they're both freshmen, and they both look like can't miss, but. We're talking playing Oregon to has one two or the number one two or three best quarterback in the country. Coming back. Yeah. Yes. Certainly NFL draft prospect. I mean, he's a top ten guy at least go into the season. I think it's a huge game for the Pac twelve I mean the Pac twelve desperately needs a marquee victory. I mean, you have to really go along way back to find the last time that they'd be. And I don't even know that Auburn is necessarily that that, you know, it's not ala..

"Another day. We're glad you're here. Friday the weekend has arrived, and it's a Cinco de Maya weekend. Everybody ready to celebrate. How to fail and they were let's get right to it. I mean yesterday was insane around here. We had Georgia fans upset we had Florida fans upset with Georgia. It was it was like a civil war had broken out. And it's only early may at the last two years, we're kind of slacked off. But you've got to think about that. Okay. We had MAG. Well, really not much to think about we got like got mulling in now, we don't have. We don't have all the negativity from a lot of injuries last year. And it was a close game in four port planning is not in their DNA. Now, what is your to have a better offencive line? Will you know what they better because term check their backup quarterback playing football in another state. I'm doing Curtis. Mark coaching wins the national championship first purview. Dan in Missouri game this past year did after. About leading to Missouri and whatnot in the I'm not making excuses for that we lost. But taking too. It wasn't a big day ozone homecoming. Well, so where does Florida Georgia rank if you ask Florida fans, Georgia fans, it's in rarified air we? We didn't put it nearly as high. I mean, this is right now this is not lifetime. These are games. That matter today, I'd games that mattered backward. Herschel Walker and Lizzy scour playing. Auburn alabama. It's still relevant because Auburn has beaten Alabama twice Alabama L. She's always game. We talk about. And then we usually watch a blowout Georgia, Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Florida LSU still pretty important is Tennessee can get back on that list. That's the question. I have. I mean, Tennessee, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, these great, Tennessee games. But not too many of them have mattered lately. Headlines today before we get to deep into the weeds talent near and far helped Pittman build the George wall. So what's what does this mean? What's high in the headline the author of that is Mark Weiss Syria from the down in Athens, and Mark thank you very much for joining us here on this Friday afternoon. So help us better understand how we got to this point with Georgia football because it's a different story than it was a couple of years ago afternoon tickle. Yes. Certainly is you know, had a lot to do with it. Kirby brought him in from Arkansas. And he's really been building this thing recruiting class by recruiting class with a lot of homegrown talent. And then snagging some top prospects from all over the the region than as even up in the northeast..

"We both want want this tangle last, and but not not everything not everything along the ways been perfect just like anything. I mean, you gotta work through little road blocks. And that's why you know, hopefully, you know, your next projects always better than than the last. And I think that's what's brought us. Closer is just great communication. And hey, I'm feeling this way. While I'm feeling this way, and we've had some mentors along the way help us, and we continue to make sure that we're also not just always business and trying to hang out and work on our relationship. So no, he's ease my brother. So I just think it's a marriage a different kind of marriage. You know, so we just try to talk everything out or do you guys have the same point of view that creatively? As you guys continue move forward. Are there been major creative disagreements or is it more just kind of other things on the side? You know? I mean for the most part, we we pretty much agree when it comes creatively. I think then by this thing works. There's really not not a song or not really a moment. That's that's really to mental. I it has to be this way. I mean, there's there's certain things we've been passionate about and we'll talk and say, hey, man. I don't I don't know if this fits because of this or this or this, and we just communicate and then either me or him understands, and then it's you know, oddly enough near the next day. We wrote a song that's even better than what we were even thinking about. So it just it just depends. You know favorite song ear today? Favorite song? Right now told you on our new record. Yeah. That was probably my favorite song to sing all the harmonies on. It was just a I call it sing song some of our cannot read. That's this. That's pretty Rockin. And it's just like going forward on the vocals my parts on that record. So told you just like it just feels like f- jail in the fifties. But like fresh, and I just think if my wife every time, I sing it and hear it. And I think it stands out. I don't know why the mix is solid. I just think it, I don't I don't know. know. Why do you think? So you you as a big advocate for Raila who by the way, I love and she's just incredibly sweet I've always liked her. But what's your stance on the women in country? "I know I know I said it wasn't gonna. About this morning. No, I told you practicing, right? I know you practicing. But you know, obviously, you're you're other half of GL is not there now welcoming with his pregnant, right? We just we just gotta be careful so mom, my mom has not dental twin and my dad also has not nickel twin? Oh, my I can't imagine dress me out. So doctor was better your four or something one time. Right. So have four of what's going on in your life at the same time. Probably he was like, you know, you got to prepare for like twins or more is like this isn't the twin gene in there. It's like two sets of the parents, and they're up both identity would be great great for twins, though. Because. Home. I would crush it. I think you would two percent. I just think we're still probably a couple of good years off. I feel like we don't feel any pressure or super excited all our family and friends in everybody's having babies. It's a mini around us and we loved. Yeah. They can be our kids for a little bit. You know, and we can pass them back at ours. We good for like ten more. She'd be a great mom, and I know I'd be great father. And we look forward to that at some point. But again, it comes down to just, you know, life decisions, and I realize a lot when I was engaged way too young and realize that sometimes I force things, and there's no need to force the universe has its time and God has its timing. And now, but that forces the things just wanting things to happen that might not might not just want things to happen. Satisfied with with. So I've just learned to follow my gut. I still have that drive that energy behind it. But it's all about as it sit with your gut, and, you know, dealing with people business songs anything hit you weird. It's probably not the right when you're taking on new business ventures and everything that you do and you guys have the publishing company, you have you have tribe, Kellyanne all that stuff when you're getting into new business, and you wanna control so much because I feel like you guys have similar personalities, Janet. It's like I want to get this down right now like yesterday. Janice trying to make phone calls and his presence day, people aren't working, and she's like, why aren't people working? I'm trying to accept on. Same trooper nuts. So to what extent are you able to kind of let go and acknowledged the fact that you can only control so much. Yeah. Every facet of everything that we're involved in. You guys are thriving. That's why you guys are at the top because you're empower your control of it. And I feel like if you're not in control of the near letting other people control your life.
