"Write down what the story will be. Always. It'll help. It'll help. And sometimes, even me now, I've used it. AI, Chat GBT. I go on Chat GBT and I'm like, okay, I want to make a one minute video marketing and I give them, you know, I give it whatever I want to tell. And it gives me a short script on. Oh yeah. It's so amazing. Chat GBT is a game changer for doing short videos. Oh my God. Game changer. Game changer. If you're stuck, all you do is you put in a little bit of prompt. Now the prompt's everything. And actually at the restaurant success, I actually have a class on AI. I'm doing a class on AI. Okay. Oh, that's amazing. Yeah. I'm going to do about how to put up the right prompts. And one of the prompts we're going to talk about is how to put a video script prompt, a good video script prompt that will actually generate good stuff. And so I'm going to show you how to do it at the restaurant success summit. Uh, but yeah, it's going to be awesome. So iPhone, right? So let's talk about the tools you need just to shoot a video. A good video. You need an iPhone. Is there anything you need like a stabilizer? Do you need like a gimbal? Anything like that? You can use a stabilizer. I don't use it as long as you're holding your phone like this. Okay. You don't need, and then it's just slow movement and I, yeah, so I'm going to bring iPhone now is built in. It has a stabilizer in it, right? Oh, and the new iPhone, especially the cinematic. Is that what you shoot in cinematic mode? Cinematic. Cinematic mode is the ultimate. All you need is an iPhone in cinematic mode. Cinematic mode. That's it. iPhone cinematic mode. I'm right now. This is a cinematic mode. It's got to be slow and steady. Be slow and steady. Right. Get lots of footage, lots of footage, right? Two kinds of, yeah, two important shots. So one is a white shot because you want to, you want to show what's happening and one close shots, close shots of like can be a product can be anything. Yeah. And you know me, I'm big about having people in the shot, in the frames. I'm big about, I always say, I want to see people. I want to see a face in your place. You know, most definitely a face. Not only that, try to catch it when they're smiling. That really changes the video. Yeah. One of the things I love about your videos, like you'll have, you'll get videos of like your family and friends coming down, like celebrating and like, you know, it's just like, that's what gathering around the table is people like hugging each other. Oh my God. Those are the best videos you have. And you, like you said, you just have a wide shot of Roz and it's usually some logo. So you have identity right away. It's like, Oh, that's Ross. And then you come in and then you tighten up the focus and then you show us some different montages of things. And then you have people. Yeah. It's an introduction. You always have to start with the introduction logo and slowly showing the space. And then you go into the product and then you go into the faces, you know, people just enjoying their time and so on and so forth. Cool. Cool. That's all you need. So you don't need like any fancy, like, you know, absolutely not. I have not used icon camera. Oh my God. I've used those. And then for editing of, so you can use, I use final cut pro. Sometimes I use it on my phone. It's called a splice. Okay. But also there's, there's another option. So on Fiverr, when I don't have time, I say 60, 70 bucks, they edited for you. Just tell them, you know, how long you want it to be. Tell them this, how I want the story to unfold. And you pay $60 and they'll edit it for you. And you just, you know, give them the song you want to use. And it's so easy. You don't even have to do the editing yourself if you don't have the time. Yeah. And Fiverr is a freelance website. It's F I V E R R. Fiverr.com. And you can find, and I also like, I'll have like, sometimes I, anyway, I know we have clients that don't like their voice and like sometimes we'll do voiceover who do awareness videos. And you can also go on Fiverr, you have someone edit, but you also get an artist, like a voiceover artist to actually do a voiceover for you. So you have a nice overtone for like, if you're doing an awareness video, you're doing like a commercial to give people awareness of your brand. And that's always a great, great thing to do. Like if you go to my, to the podcast, the restaurant coach podcast, you'll hear a lady in the very front. That's Alice. She's my voiceover artist that I found on Fiverr. She does all my intros for my podcast. I have probably a dozen different ones that she has done for me and she is awesome. And she does a great job for me. And she's such a pro. Yeah. It's always nice to have someone else, especially a professional. And if you don't like your voice, you don't like the way you sound on video or microphone. That's cool. Remember you can outsource.

"Yeah, no, that's good. That's really good because we don't even in what's really interesting. And I know you know this because you've done the work on yourself. You get amazed at how much negative self-talk you have until you start working on it and you start working on yourself and you catch yourself and you're like, Oh my God, I hear I am saying that again, right? And it becomes much easier to shift it. Once you first become aware of what they are, right, then you find out. Yes, yes, you have to be aware of it and know what it is. There are the three A's of change, awareness, acceptance and action. So, you know, be aware of what your limiting beliefs are, which is why I gave you guys the assignment to go through all seven areas and write down your limiting belief accepted. Okay. That's where I'm at now. My limiting belief is, you know, all the good ones are already taken and then take an action to change that belief, which would be to say an affirmation, to write a gratitude list, to do a postcard to the universe or vision board or take a how to manifest your soulmate class with me or gratitude class with you and start to take action to create the life that you want. Yes, exactly, exactly. And then what you'll find is you start wanting more of that because you start to feel better, even if you don't see anything in your environment yet, right? Even if you don't see it in a physical form yet, you start to feel better. So you know you're raising your frequency, you're raising your energy. So those things, just a matter of time of when it comes and having faith and trust that the universe is going to deliver what you ordered, right? You just got to get out of the way. You got to get out of the way and allow it like you were talking about earlier. Being magnetic is receiving, allowing it to come to you. So I want to talk a little bit about your podcast. I love your podcast. Can you share with us like the balance, beautiful and abundant show? Like what sparked you wanting to do the podcast and what do you like to talk about on the podcast for those who want to check it out? Well, I wasn't planning to have a podcast. I was at a business seminar. I'm a huge believer in investing time and money and my own personal growth and I was at a business seminar and at lunch she said, I'm going to give you guys a challenge to ask five people who intimidate you to be on your podcast. And I was, okay, I'll do the challenge. So I asked five people who I looked up to to be on my podcast. One said, yes. And I was like, oh boy, I better have a podcast for her too. Yeah. So yeah, I just used Zoom. It wasn't anything fancy. And I interviewed her and I found someone to be my producer online, you know, through one of those apps like Fiverr or TaskRabbit, not TaskRabbit, I forget the other one, but one of those. And yeah, so I had a podcast and on the podcast, I interview experts that can speak into one of these seven pillars of abundance, and they give you tips, tools, and strategies on how to get that pillar of abundance to a level 10. And I was so delighted that we won a positive change award last year. And just a couple of weeks ago, I found out that we were top 1.5% globally in self-help. So it is really catching on. It is a labor of love. I don't have sponsors yet, but it makes me so happy to interview people that are thought leaders and disruptors and just teaching people how to get results. And I like people that are outside of the mainstream, kind of like you do. Like, I like hearing people that are on the cutting edge and hearing how they help people get results in one of these seven areas. So that is what the podcast is about. It is a lot of fun. And yeah, definitely check it out. Check out Melissa's episode because she crushed it. And it is a great, great way to help people.

"You're going to put the bomb in pop shop out of business and you should think about that stuff. And AI is now going to play. But obviously, it doesn't make you a bad person for buying on Amazon. no. I'm like, there is the thing of like, you're right, where it's like, you should support the mom and graph shops. Where possible because they need to help more than Amazon, but there's the convenience of Amazon that people have bought into and that has all kind of worked into how we expect the expectations of things. And so that to me is where it's like, there's so many laws and labor issues with Amazon that people talk about all the time. That's the stuff that I think is important is exposing where the issues are with the things. And with AI right now, the issues are abundant. They are everywhere and they're easily pointed out. Yeah. Yeah, and it may just be preferential. I guess I think about that a lot more. Of course, now being more of a self authorship. People who are out there doing it on their own and as part of freelancers and artists, and that's what I'm thinking about here is hopefully we're not hearing all of a sudden tons of stories about all these artists that they were freelancers, but now they can't even find work because AI is just, it's easier. It's the Fiverr of that now. But best case scenario and it's still early on is like, this will help speed up game development and let them do more things. I mean, that's the way I think everybody probably is looking at it and hopefully implementing it as part of whatever epic is doing as part of on real and building their AI suite and that's where you want to see it like speed up things. Let creative people do even better things versus replace what they're doing. Yeah. You have them more time. Absolutely. And the way I see this stuff too is like, I am an optimist when it comes to a lot of the technology stuff and you can disagree with me. That's fine. But I will. But here with the last statement he said about the small team that was making a pitch and all that stuff. I look at this as like, they're not going to end up making an AI game. I'm looking at this as like they are now finding talent to have the creative vision that know how to use these things to do a good pitch to then be able to. "So I'm very hands off on some projects and I'm so proud of what my team has been able to do, but it's taken some time, and I'm going to walk you through how we've done it. Essentially, my goal is to get you working on your business instead of always in your business. You know the difference, right? Working on your business means you're casting the vision. You're coming up with the strategies, you're watching what other people are doing and finding out how that might work in your business. You're the big idea person and your front stage. Working in your business means you're actually creating everything from scratch and you have your hands in everything. It's not how you scale a business, my sweet friend, so we can not do that. Even if you're just starting out, this is super important for you to understand. So I wanted to share that with you. And then lastly, I think you'll be surprised how refreshing it can be to bring on another person to help with your content. What I mean by that is that they can offer a new fresh perspective on a topic when you maybe never would have thought of. For those of you who have been around my content for a while and have been in any of my courses, I teach this concept called the invisible bridge. And it's become a really big piece of how we teach people to create content that will help them sell more. I won't get into the concept here. I've talked about it a bunch on the podcast. I didn't create the invisible bridge. Jilly is my longest standing employee. She is in my content, all my content teams. She's a content manager, and she came up with that. And I use it all the time. So I'm telling you, this fresh perspective from other people kind of breathing new life into your content might just blow your mind. All right, so you're ready to bring someone on to support you with content creation, where the heck do you even find these people? My team has had some luck with the website Fiverr. I'll link it up in the show notes. This website has been around for a very long time, so it's definitely a tried and true resource. And then there are always websites that you can share your job posting to. Many require a fee, so just keep that in mind. One of my favorites is create and cultivate. It's a great platform.

And that the topic is boring and that we shouldn't listen because you don't care. So we don't care if it was that low. This guy's energy comes in at a 7. It's great. I love it. And then and the music's coming in at like a 7 8 9. The music's like really getting me to feel excited. And I think that's the energy you probably want. And then when you actually come in for the episode, you are three levels below. So you're coming in at a level four, which is below average. And anything below a 6 is going to bore the audience. So you want to, you'll want to come in with a little bit more energy so that it's congruent with the music so that it's congruent with the other person's energy so that it's not like you were about to climax in whatever you want me to think, whatever you want to think. And then you just kind of, it goes away immediately. It's like build up, build up, build up, and then it's like, where did it go? What's happening? I'm not liking this. It doesn't feel comfortable. This isn't what I expected. And so the first two pieces of advice are because the music being behind is great.

It is expected to be a tight race between the center left camp, led by prime minister jar lapid and Benjamin Netanyahu, who is hoping to reinstall a right-wing government. Court documents say the man accused of entering the San Francisco home of House speaker Nancy Pelosi wanted to break her kneecaps. The speaker was not home. Police say 42 year old David pop attacked her husband, Paul Pelosi, meanwhile, democratic congresswoman Debbie dingell of Michigan discussed the attack on Paul Pelosi and heightened tensions over political rhetoric and violence. What I've seen at home in the last month, even if my school board members are wearing bulletproof vests and because I've talked to other school board members, I'm hearing that across the country, state legislatures in Michigan have been wearing bulletproof vests at men. We're at the state capitol with the salt weapons long before January 6th. Congresswoman dingell spoke on sound on, which airs at 5 p.m. on Bloomberg. A winning ticket for the $1 billion Powerball jackpot came up empty last night. It was the second largest Powerball drawing in history. Now, officials expect the Powerball to continue to climb to here we go. $1.2 billion ahead of tomorrow night's drawing. So we still have time. With me last night, this was the whole dinner conversation. She said 1.2 and I missed the B and I thought it was a million, and I'm like, well, that's chump change after-tax. B is in billion? B as in billion. I mean, now you talk about it. I went into the surveillance closet at home and I noticed Fiverr mez bow ties were gone. And I think she seldom to buy power balls. I might have to put a couple of dollars on this. So I'm sorry. I'm an idiot on this. Powerball is like 6 numbers, right? And then, well, there's the then you also have the gold ball. Of course. I got the gold ball. And now that thing is like one through a thousand, whatever that thing is. And then, you know, so if you get all, I think it's like, is it 5 numbers? I think it's 5 numbers before the gold ball. The gold ball. You get a $1 million, and then you got to hit the gold bar. Yeah, of course. Every surprise that no one's won out to $1.2 billion. Last time there was a winner was like August something. I'm going down to the deli down the corner. Putting some shots. I won $40 once in Massachusetts, and I quit right there. I'm the only one listening this morning. It was actually positive. All you need to know is I'm old cousin Mike, if either of you two. Okay, yeah. Okay. Best friend Michael Barr here on his way. To the Powerball victory. I can't imagine the conversation tonight. Just be a tax heading. Now, 204 points. S&P up 34 points of vicks. Oh, not really yet. We haven't seen the vix move 25 .7 on

"Then a good place could just be Fiverr. And I will make sure that my team puts our Fiverr, what is it called? Affiliate link? Affiliate link. And that way you can support the show as you go to Fiverr anyway. If you're working with my team, you never pay. And if you go to Fiverr, you're going to find it anywhere from. Some amount of pennies per word, something like there might be a minimum of 15 bucks or something, but they might say it's a dollar per word or it's 50 cents a word or something like that. And so the listener might go to Fiverr and you might be able to see some of the ways you're probably going to end up paying like 20 or 30 bucks, some of the ways you're going to spend like 50 or a hundred. Or some of the ways honestly, even on Fiverr, there's some people that really are proud of their voice. They're really confident about making good money through their voice and they actually might charge a couple of $1000 to record one small thing. I've had a voice-over artist on the podcast and she charged over a $1000 per read. And that might be like a 32nd read. And it's going to be a $1000 because she's pretty proud of herself. She thinks she uses the exact right voice inflections. The best enunciation, whatever. It's whatever. But my team will hire somebody. Podcaster don't quit podcasting just because you want to go make a $1000 because you think you have a great voice. I agree. I agree. So should I pay a voice over artist? Probably yes. Should it be male or female? It depends. Those were our answers for those questions. All right. Julie, you had more, didn't you? You know, that was really the meat and the potatoes of what I was contemplating. You say meat and potatoes because you're from Idaho?

"Single thing that was successful. But I loved this one and I pushed it, by the way. It's at 7 7 8. Where was it last 7, 8, two? That means that of the people who watched it and voted the total is negative four. That is insane. That people are still watching this stupid piece of shit. Footage of like me failing to do what I intended because an earthquake happened. And that's not even part of the video. Nobody knows how it happened. What was the thing at the end radar or something? Right? Like, what the fuck was that? It's just something I am super implanted onto the TV set. I thought it was, I didn't really spend that much. What is the curse this video? In my mind that how much time do I really want to spend on this? And if I feel like more, I want to get that I know I need to stop now. Or I'll never do it. But Chris Boyle over is obviously perfect. Okay. What is the, what is this Reddit for, though? It's for cursed videos, but what are those? Is there a synopsis of what that is? It's just like weird place where it's really easy for the bots to object to anything. If you want to go to the format, take stuff that's familiar and doesn't threaten anybody and put some cool white text over it and what's the most obvious song tonight? Like some stupid, obviously Kurtz song, or he makes me fucking badass like this, that fucking destroys the whole late little mod premise. Do you get what I'm saying? It's a game played against the worst moms. I guess, but that seems a futile because it's not like they're going to understand they're going to think. It's been on the front page of courage videos for 6 months and they get to do a fucking name at it. Wow, can't they take it down if they wanted to? Nope, they tried day one. They hit them too hard emotionally. They made a reaction before they had a case. They're fucked. Okay. Wow. That's how the cookie crumbles. To get video. It is. I actually haven't watched it. It's a long time until right now. 42 seconds. That's too long. I want to watch it. I did want to be. I like that it was 42 seconds. Thank you. Obviously not intentional. So I set up this weird thing, I had my friend set up a weird Rube Goldberg thing. You can see all the pieces. I did not tell her to put the fucking boiling water on the floor. I have no idea. What the hell is she doing with boiling water on the floor? No idea. Yeah, that's weird because I definitely assumed that was part of that. The clothespins were supposed to fall onto the ladder. And you can kind of see where it goes from there, except just remember the water is not supposed to be there. I don't know. And immediately, once the footage is there, I'm like, okay, this is actually perfect as it is, forget everything else. And never tell me why yeah, you're better off not knowing. I mean, I did write something in that message. Are you trying to electrocute yourself? Don't tell me. Well, now, there's just a pot. Right? And it becomes the focus of the entire thing. Like the whole time, as it's like looking at the other side, it's like, wait, what was that? Why would there possibly which makes it cursed, right? It makes it feel really cursed because it's like, oh, here's the thing, and then also, I did happen to rig the startup of this so that there's like this black smoke that's almost undetectable coming from underneath the door, and then we go to the oh wait, there's the earthquake. The whole thing it feels cursed to be by now, of course. Check one, can I ever hear me? Hello. I might suck toes Joe has his hand up. That's so weird. You can say what you want to say. What do you mean it's so weird by my hand? I just want to be polite. I got a new headset. I don't know if it sounds better. My voice or whatever. Sounds pretty awesome. I'm trying to watch you. Can you just turn down the background sound? It's like extremely annoying and obnoxious, but I feel like you're aware of that. You see, like, what is the difference, really? Between something like that. And the mod saying on Reddit, I'm taking your video link. No, this is loud. I'm being louder. I'm louder. Yeah. Internet. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know, sometimes. Tell us the truth about something. Did you just say DuckTales, Zoe? What the? By fist like a hurricane trading crypto. You'll have that consent. I would love to see that. Yeah, that's embarrassing. "Appreciate it Mika Kaufman CEO and founder of Fiverr joins us symbol on the New York Stock Exchange He can punch into your bloomer terminal FV RR You can thanks so much for joining us here for our audience I'd love for you to just give us kind of the 32nd overview of what Fiverr is what you guys are up to these days Sure thanks for having me So essentially fiber is a 2000 market page that connects any type of business with tremendous amount of freelancers in almost 600 different categories of digital services So anything you can think from business formations finding a name for your business to developing software for your business or editing video writing content or helping you run marketing campaign Any type of talent could be found on the platform and the average time that it takes anyone who visits the site to actually place an order is 15 minutes This is compared to the average time that it takes to find a freelancer elsewhere which is about 30 days So that's the efficiency compression that fiber is presenting The company has been around since 2010 went public three years ago and continues to grow very very strong So I'm just wondering how these freelancers compare to other gig economy workers For example compared to like an Uber driver do they have issues with fees Do they have problems organizing is unionization a concern No really because we're talking about skilled labor And the difference between Fiverr and other gig economy platforms is that on Fiverr the three answers actually get to name their own term They decide when they work how much they work how much they charge for their work So from that perspective they have total freedom of deciding or setting up their destiny And then you take your cut from the business or from the freelancer We actually take both we take some of it from the print answer and some of it from the customer So the pandemic must have altered your business or had a huge impact on your business as people were working from home Maybe they lost their day job and now they're trying to find some type of thing Talk just about how your business was impacted and maybe today continues to be impacted by the change in the labor force Sure I think that what was interesting when we started the business in 2010 it was a decade when prion went from being something people did in between jobs to being a full-time career decision and a lifestyle decision So financing is very different right now by 2030 by the end of this decade you're not supposed to go to are going to be 50% of the workforce which is a huge cohort Now obviously throughout the years we've been growing very fast In the pandemic the pandemic in many ways have made the case for what we've been preaching for the past ten years which is there's tremendous amount of value in working with freelancers even if it's remote because you don't need control over people's time all that companies care output And on that they're super efficient Beyond us it's the fact that I think throughout the pandemic and now is we're thinking about potential recession coming in I think more companies are thinking about efficiency and our thinking about the variable expenses versus fixed expenses And this is what's green onto Thailand is giving you If you're giving you the option to scale up or down as needed And I think that this is super powerful when companies are thinking about efficiency So I'm an old stock analyst I'm looking at your chart here IPO to mid 19 to $21 a share peaked in February of 2021 It over $300 a share now today trades just below $40 a share That looks like a peloton chart that looks like a zoom chart was your stock one of those names that was just thrown on the list of this is a pandemic stock to own and then conversely coming out of the pandemic like much of the world is that perhaps that's not the trade Is that kind of what's impacted your stock price Yeah I think the market is a little bit behaving a little bit like a pendulum It's either over asking or under reacting I think that what we're seeing now is a little bit of a fear that maybe the pandemic was a one time boost to the business and that would not last everything that we see from the fundamentals of the business show otherwise which is fundamentals are extremely strong Our cohort behavior of the customer is stronger than pre-pandemic the available market is just growing the online portion of financing is about 5% It's like ecommerce 20 years ago You haven't even started So there's so much room to grow into it If you take a good example in the past 12 months we've had 4.2 million up to businesses on the platform Half of them are in the U.S. which is 2.1 million but that is 2.1 million out of more than 30 million if and be available in the U.S. alone So there's so much room to grow into that we don't have any concern about the ability to grow I think the market is going to correct itself It's just patient We can't optimize for the share with the price We optimize for the performance of the business By the way you have now I think about 8 verticals right Including graphic design including digital marketing obviously writing code is a big deal Do you see yourself growing into more traditional sectors or is it all about digital services We focus on digital services because physical services face tremendous.

No, I didn't pleasantly surprise and glad. I know. Well, now I have to go drink a beer. No, I know. I know, and it's just like just couldn't believe this is what I was dealing with. So, but you know, you got John. You got Don Winslow coming on the show. Is that what you said? Yeah. You're gonna talk. Don announced, Don, if you're out there, we're trying to get you to have you on the show. But I noticed that he had like a, was he retiring from writing? Is that what it was? I'm gonna ask him everything I can. Okay, good, good, good, good. But John, this will go down in history. I'm sure it will. It'll live on the Internet forever. Now. Forever endeavor. Yeah, yeah, I don't even, you know. But the other thing you could do is you can release the videos and put you can put captions on them, so people know what's being said. Well, if you find the right editing person. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't go on Craigslist and look for someone to book captions. Because that's a green game. I will admit, I'm technically, you know, incompetent. I know. No. I know that. I know that like, look, look, you know, I don't make any false, you know, you know, I would never say I'm the greatest technical guy. But so no, I wouldn't even know how to close clap because. I see these guys in Instagram. Closed captioning on all the, you know, I don't know how to do that. You know, I wouldn't know the first thing about it. So no. Have you heard have you heard of a website called Fiverr Fiverr that you need to go there? That's where you need to go, John. You need to go. And next time. And if you need to go shoot myself in the head is where I need to go. Next time just get a selfie stick. For a 150 bucks, you can get a hell of a selfie. Or get a little lapel bike with the selfie stick and hold the fucking stick. Why you're asking the question? Oh my God. Could you imagine, could you imagine me going back to the stern show?
