"I'm Jay forested. You're listening to five minute Dharma, five minute Dharma's a weekly podcast giving practical Buddhist wisdom for everyday life episode seventeen right action. The Buddha said. Now this is the noble truth of the path that leads to the ending of suffering. It is simply this noble eightfold path that is right view, right, intention, right speech, right, action, right, livelihood, right effort, right, mindfulness and right meditation so today we're going to be talking about right action in the noble eightfold path. Now, the Buddhist said, and what is right action. Avoiding, killing living creatures, stealing and sexual misconduct, this is called right action. So let's look at those three things. Killing living creatures. Are As another translation, says destruction of life. So this is not just talking about human life. It's talking about animal life as well. And we'll get into right livelihood in the next episode, but right now I want to just point out that. Destruction of life concerns all sentient beans. That is if there is ability for it to feel. It is a living being if it has a face, it is a living being. It is a living creature, and killing that is considered wrong action. So to avoid wrong action is right action. The second one is St. Lean and the more traditional translation is taking what is not given. These are things that everybody knows what stealing is. The problem is many times. We think of only the big things that are taken without permission, but they're small things as well. And then the third one is sexual misconduct. One translation has. On chastity. The polly is literally ungodly conduct. In the context is one of those words that has the implication of sexual activity. And for the Buddhist monk or nun, the on chastity would be. A sexual activity of any kind. And for the lay person, it would be sex out of side of a committed relationship. that would be considered on godly conduct. So those are the three ones that the Buddha mentions in this particular Ceuta the common precepts for the disciple, the person who lay lay disciple who wants to follow the Buddha is the fought known as the five precepts and the Priok five precepts. The Buddha says. A noble disciple gives up killing living creatures. A noble disciple gives up stealing a noble disciple gives up sexual misconduct. A noble disciple gives up line. A noble disciple gives up alcoholic drinks. That caused negligence. So here. We have again killing living creatures that's taking life and other words stealing taking what is not given sexual misconduct. One translation is kind of interesting, all lustful evil ways. And it adds to more lying. That is in one translation false speech. Saying things that you know are not true. It is not a lie. If you convey something and you're mistaken about it, it's ally if you knowingly tell. False. And the last one is alcoholic drinks. So a lay Buddhist is not supposed to take as one translation translates intoxicants, another translation has to abstain from liquor, wine and intoxications and most commentaries and and modern Buddhist. Include in here illegal drugs drugs that lead to heedlessness negligence lack of mindfulness, if mindfulness is so important for the Buddha than it's important enough to eliminate taking things that would hinder your awareness, your mindfulness, your presence of mind. You don't want to counteract that. That's contrary to the training of a Buddhist. So in conclusion. Do you practice right action. Your actions are important not only to others, but to your own spiritual growth. That concludes by talk. Thank you for your attention. You've been listening to five minute Dharma. "I'm Jay forested. You're listening to five minute Dara five minute divers, a weekly podcast giving you a practical Buddhist wisdom for everyday life episode seventeen right speech. The Buddhist. Now. This is the noble truth of the Path that leads the cessation of suffering. It is simply this noble eightfold path. That is right view, right, intention, right, speech, right, action, right, livelihood, right effort, right, mindfulness and right meditation. So. We've gone through right view, right, intention and today. We want to deal with right speech. So, what is right speech? The Buddha said and what is right speech. Avoiding speech, that is false, divisive, harsh or nonsensical. This is called right speech. So here. He lists some things that really are not right speech. False speech that is you. Don't lie or deceive with your words. You don't exaggerate. He don't make things up. Divisive speech is speech that divides people that is turning people on each other. That's divisive speech. Har- speech is words used as weapons said to cause pain to put someone in their place. This is harsh speech. Nonsensical speech is probably not the best translation. I like Bhikkhu bodies translation. He says it is idle chatter. In other words, it's pointless Chitchat. Talk that lacks purpose or depth. This is one of the hard ones to avoid especially in a work situation. Where you're dealing with a lot of people, sometimes, it's real easy to get into this idle Chitchat. And but these are the things that are not right speech. And avoiding these things actually will leave you with right speech. So that's the negative part of right speech, but the Buddha also talked about the positive aspect of it. The Buddhist said Mendicant. Speech that has five factors is well-spoken, not poorly spoken. It's blameless and is not criticized by sensible people. What five it speech. That is timely, true, gentle, beneficial and loving. Speech with these five factors as well spoken, not poorly spoken. It's blameless and is not criticized by sensible people. So let's look at these five bro quickly timely. What does it mean to be to have speech that his timely? Translation says it spoken at the right time. Sometimes in inappropriate to say something and sometimes. It's appropriate, so it's spoken at the right time. True that it is spoken in truth. Gentle that is is sufficiently or politely spoken. If you look into the polly the actual word they're gentle means smooth a soft delicate. In other words. It's one of those things that is spoken with a softness a delicacy so as not to hurt the other person. Beneficial. Good right speeches beneficial the again. The the Pali dictionary defines it as endowed with Prophet, bringing advantage profitable speech. I mean if you saying something. Let it be for a good purpose. Let it before benefit for an advantage for yourself and for the other person. And lastly is loving. The Pali. Word here literally means Meta mind and the word. Meta means loving kindness. It needs to speak with a mind governed by loving kindness. In conclusion. Do you practice right speech. Your words are important, not only the others, but your own spiritual growth. That concludes by talk. Thank you for your attention. You've been listening to five minute Dharma. Five minute neighbors a weekly podcast giving you practical Buddhist wisdom for everyday life. 187 - BELIEFS TO ADOPT FOR SUCCESS
"Welcome to five minutes of momentum. These episodes are short five-minute bursts of inspiration motivation and Massive Action. If you need that little hiccup about to get things moving into a spicy take Massive Action that every single Thursday. I'll be sending you through a five minute episode to download digest and Implement to finish your week off strong. You ready to get started off. Let's go. Welcome back to fly from its own momentum today sort of quickly is all about the top beliefs that you need to adopt to make sure that you are elevating yourself to success our belief systems Drive everything they drive our Behavior out there drives that our motivation our procrastination. So if we have belief systems that aren't necessarily supporting the success that we want to create the success that we want to live and Achieve. We're more likely going to sabotage our success then actually achieve it. So I want to take you through the top beliefs that I feel ones that are going to support your success. So the first one is about failure because we need it. It's part of our journey off to the belief is failure is the path to success. I love this quote and I feel like it's such an interesting belief system to adopt because it helps you to continue to put yourself in the face of failure. So then you can learn from it. You can grow from it and continue to take those steps towards your success. The next one is done is better than perfect. One of our biggest things is perfectionism, right we get stuck off. Trying to perfect things when really perfecting something is actually putting it out into the world seeing the response it gets things that the result that it creates to know whether they're actually works or not. So this is one that's absolutely served me and my birth of Entrepreneurship and so progress over Perfection always and done is always better than perfect. The next one is every step. I take gets me closer to the success I deserve so there's two elements just belief one is believing that you deserve it your success is there for the taking but you have to believe that you deserve it. Otherwise, we will sabotage it and the other part of it is that every step I take so a continuously taking action towards it because if we believe that the action that we take all the effort that we put in is not worth it. It's exhausting I'm burning myself out basically, so if we're focused on all the effort that way to put it in when measuring every step of exit and we'll always going to be on the back foot. We're always going to be exhausted. Whereas if we know that every step is leading you towards Mastery every step is getting you closer to the success that you deserve went off. Likely to want to take positive action. The next one is about abundance. We must believe that there is more than enough to go around in there is but if we're focused on scarcity and lack and competition life and fearing where our next client is going to come from then we're always going to be get caught up in a scarcity mindset. So if we want to adopt that true abundance, we've got to start to believe that there is always more than enough clients. There is always money enough opportunities. There's always more than enough whatever it is that you possibly need for your business to succeed. You must believe that there is more enough to go around the next one is about progress. So I mentioned earlier about a progressed over Perfection absolutely but it's also about how we spend our time. So the next one is where I spend my time. I progress I love this one because it helps to remind me of okay off to reflect where am I spending my time? Because the most likely going to be progressing in those areas. So I want to make sure that the action that I'm taking in a step that I'm taking are actually where I want to be progressing cuz we can get off. Caught up in doing all the two dues. Admin list gets get out of control where it's actually not helping a level of success. So really want to pinpoint what are some of those money-making activities? What are some of those impact-driven activities them create the success that we desire. So where you spend your time you progress the next one is anything is possible. Now. This one is really interesting because if often we can get caught up in what it's not possible and we end up setting goals that are keeping us playing small. Although we believe are possible and that's actually hindering our success. So being able to believe that anything is possible allows us to stay open to New Opportunities new possibilities and keeps things rolling in in our abundance, right? Because if we're closing ourselves off to those opportunities and being aware that are being even open to success looking a little different because sometimes we have this hard and fast way that we want success to happen. Whereas when we're open to anything or what open to possibilities. Sometimes it can happen very differently than what you first expected wage. And that is beautiful. And so I want to make sure that we believe that anything is possible. And the last one is that I have the ability to change my reality. This is one that I revisit on a regular basis. So if something is not working for me if I'm getting frustrated with something if I feel like something's really challenging if I feel like I would like things to be different. I remind myself that I have the ability to change reality. So what am I going to do about it? So it kind of Lights a fire in my belly to help shift my focus and go. Okay. This is within my control I get to change this but I've got to choose to change it so often am I choosing every single day? I am choosing where I spend my time where I spend my money where I spend my energy, where am I choosing to spend it? And what am I choosing to believe? It's going to set myself up for Success. You absolutely have the ability to change your reality. So let me recap failure is on the path to success done is better than perfect every step. I take gets me closer to the success I deserve There is more than enough to go around where I spend my time. I progress anything is possible and I have the ability to change my reality. So did you find this helpful make sure that you woke up to those belief systems. Now you have the ability to change my reality and I would love it. If you can rate and review this podcast. If you get any value out of these episodes, I would love it. If you could just take a moment to leave a five star review in a couple of words about what you've taken away from this episode. Thanks again, and I'll speak to you all next week.
189 - Collaboration over competition
"Welcome to five minutes of momentum. These episodes are short five-minute bursts of inspiration motivation and Massive Action. If you need that little hiccup about to get things moving into a spicy take Massive Action that every single Thursday. I'll be sending you through a five minute episode to download digest and Implement to finish your week off strong. You ready to get started off. Let's go. Five minutes of momentum. Are you ready? We're going to dive into collaboration over competition. And for us to do this, we need to understand the game of connotations and the scarcity mindset that is attached to competition. So what is competition competition is creating rivalry. It's like setting yourself up to compete against other people and for what when we run our own businesses, we're not competing against other people and it's hard to let this one go and it's hard to shift it to a mindset of collaboration because we're constantly being told to compete with others and we're constantly said that message that we're competing in the market is flooded and there's too many people out there and there's so many more people that do what you do and that you've got to stand out and so the choices in marketing or always feeding into that scarcity and the reason why they do it is because it's a sales tactic, right? But what we really need to understand is that competition. It's almost like deciding whether yep My choosing to lean into your feminine or lean into your masculine. The masculine like competition is really masculine like fighting against each other competing against each other like there's going to be a winner now when it comes to business, I don't really think it's about winning and necessarily unless you're competing against yourself and you're trying to better yourself and you try to make a bigger impact in trying to get great results for your clients. But when were looking at as collaboration, it's about connection and it's about relationships and it's about working together, right that's very much on the feminine side. So the other key thing I want you to be aware of is that competition is feeding into your need for scarcity. When we believe in competition that that we're fighting against each other for clients or for business. They're actually coming from the place of believing that there's not enough to go around and there is enough to go around you have to believe it and I was saying this to a client yesterday like how many clients do you need for your business to be successful for you to be able to hit your goals over the one year and month? To you. It's not 50,000 right depending on top of business you have right? Like she was a consultant and she works one-on-one with people. She probably needs 50 people over the year to actually hit her financial goal that she has in mind off. So when you think about it from the perspective is there enough people in your country in your state in your town that need your services. Yeah. Absolutely. So we need to come from a place of abundance. There's absolutely enough to go around and when we think about it from the perspective of competing against others, I really want you to look at the role modeling element of it of thinking about how you can utilize comparison because that's exactly what it is utilized comparison to help employ you to do better in different areas where you feel like you're lacking so that could be that, you know, it's about better communication. It's about really communicating your uniqueness in the market. It's about communicating the way that you helped solve your clients problems. So then the client makes the choice because the end of the day it's not actually about the competition because the the dog Jim is actually in the client's mind. It's not in within your control at all. It's not within your competitors control at all. All it is is absolutely in the hands of your client. And so it's about yourself up to make sure that you're able to communicate what it is that you do in a powerful way that resonates with those clients and I such a firm believer that the right clients choose the people that resonate with them and also the right choice would choose you because they need to work with you for whatever reason that might be but it's also because you need that client to learn the lessons you need to learn to get better or for whatever Journey your soul is on on this planet that we attract those types of people into our world to be a mirror for us to see where we need to heal or see where we need to grow. So, please shift your attention to collaboration took action is a beautiful way to grow your business and not only that it's a such a genuine way of serving and coming from a place of working together and serving on such a higher level because when you comb Right with others. Not only is it fun? So you're in a high Vibe energy. You're also in your feminine energy and it's being a part of being in flow and momentum and enjoying the connection and collaboration with the other person. And so then it's about really focusing on if you need competition. Like if you find that you're really driven by a competition use it to compete against yourself from yesterday. How can you get better compared to yesterday rather than comparing yourself to another human being until another business? Cuz that's only going to leave you in spiralling out of control into comparison and feeling like crap because we are individuals because of that reason but we are not the same as other people you do not want to be the same as another human being so how can you be better at being you so ultimately when we worry about competition, it's actually a lesson in abundance off because if you can collaborate with someone that is similar to what you do or that is great at what they do. You actually leaned into believing that there is enough to go around competition wage. You'll listen in to elevating your belief systems about abundance. So then you can believe there is enough to go around and we're never ever competing. We're never competing if this resonated with you make sure you could tell me on Instagram come find me a Christine Corcoran under School coach and let me know how competition is challenged you in the past and how you want to view it now have an amazing week.
181 - Using fear and disappointment to drive you - 5 Minutes of Momentum
"Welcome to five minutes of my men. These episodes are a short five minute bursts of inspiration motivation and massive action. If you need that little kick up the to get things moving into its slash, take massive action, every single Thursday I'll be sending through a five minute episode to Download Digest and implement to finish your week off strong. He ready to get started. Let's go. Using fee and disappointment to drive you fear disappointment a two of the biggest negative emotions that we can experience as a human being and the more we use it and we actually transmute those experiences in those emotions the better we are for it right. If you can think back to some of the things, some big disappointments that you've had in your alive and think about how you could use a disappointment to drive you to move forward. You'd be surprised at how motivating it can be to utilize those. So we have what we call the pain and pleasure model. So a lot of the. Times as a human being will use our pain to drive us to take action. So it's like we know we don't want and we can try move away from that pain and we move away from what we want. So we can utilize this right because often sometimes, the pain is actually much more motivating than it is the pleasure because when we think about utilizing pledge ought to motivate us we think about what it is that we do want and we look then moving towards it because it's something that we haven't experienced yet it's not as motivating often looking back can go and will. I don't want to experience that ever again I don't want to be disappointed I don't WanNa have regret I. Don't it'd be just stuck in fear and taking no action at all. So anytime that I feel like I'm not taking massive action I think about the costs and the consequences of not taking that action and then I try to think about. Okay. So what some things in the past and I've experienced and remind myself of how freaking painful e could bay to feel disappointed and how painful it can be stuck in fear and not taking action allowing that to override everything that you. Do in your life now, I think back to a time in my life where I was stuck in complete fear and in total non action and I was stuck there for quite a long time, and then once I moved pasta and taking action I was like, why did I waste so much time? Why did I allow myself to sit in so much guilt and fear and disappointment when really I should have just taken action and moved pasta, and so I use that now to move me forward and that actually helps to help me be so much more effective in my time management because. Anytime that I noticed things are falling by the wayside. I am putting things off when I'm pushing things out into distance because I'm already or I'm worried about what that's going to do whatever it is. I'm stocking I remind myself of what it's felt like in the past. To be disappointed and to be stocking. And remind myself that I don't WanNa feel that ever. Again I do not want to feel disappointed in myself I. Do not want to be stuck in fear and taking on action wasting my life when time flies by quick, we are in September. How the hell did we get to September? So quickly, right when the whole world is being brought to its knees and we've been put on such a halt and all of our goals have been put on hold yet time is still moving fast right. Your life is going to flash by before you know it and unless you find some way to motivate you to take massive. Action you GONNA continue to play small. You're going to continue to feel disappointed and you're going to continue to allow fear to stop you fear is always going to be a part of life experience, but we need to learn to transmit it to move us forward and to continue to remind us to take massive action allies. So then we can celebrate what we've achieved and we. Can enjoy allies and we can't find joy happiness and love. So what is it that you're not taking action right now and what do you need to think back to to remind yourself? That is painful enough. That's GONNA stop period from freezing that's going to actually tell you to stand more in your power and move forward because anything that this is ever taught me is that. There's always painful moments in the past and your future is always going to be better than you'll past if you will allow it to be. So if you want your future to be better than your past, use your past to fuel you forward us the fear us a disappointment and allow it to drive you to take massive action and create the loss that you wanNA leave. You don't have any time to waste right this. You'll life literally flying by day by day, and until you start to transmit those negative emotions because negative emotions, part of life. So the more that you can transmute them to become so much more powerful to derive you and move you forward the less likely you ought to give into the fear and to give into the disappointment and live in a place of self doubt is not serving you ask all. If you continue to leave in that place, you have the power to transmit your emotions and the way that you do that is allow yourself to recognize when you feeling them. Like just what I've talked to through right he think back to a time that you felt disappointed and remind yourself that if you don't continue to take action now, that's what's going to happen again or you're going to cause that negative feeling to come back and bite you in the butt because of the things that you haven't done that you want to do but you're not taking action. So it's time to years you'll fear and disappointment to drive you full weight and fuel you to create the results in your life that you wanna leave.
The Cause of Suffering
"Agyei forest then. You're listening to five minute Dharma. Five Minute Dharma's a weekly podcast giving you practical Buddhist wisdom for everyday life episode six the cause of suffering dealing with the four noble truths says given in the Buddha's very I talk the setting in motion the wheel of the Dhamma. The four noble truths are the noble truth of suffering the noble truth of the origin of suffering. The Noble Truth was the cessation of suffering and the noble truth the way leading to the cessation of suffering. Today we want to look at the second noble truth of the origin of suffering. The Buddha said now this be coups is the noble truth of the origin of suffering. It is this craving which leads to renewed existence accompanied by delight and lust seeking delight here and there that is craving for sensual pleasures craving for existence craving for extermination so the direct cause of suffering is craving. The Pali word. Here is ten. It literally means thirst. The suggestion rights rupert. Gethin is that deep in the minds of beings. There is agreed or desire that manifest as an unquenchable thirst which is the principal condition for the arising of suffering. It is the wanting mind the longing for external satisfaction the gives rise to discontentment and suffering as long as the fire of craving burns. Suffering will continue but we must understand that craving is not the first or the only cause of suffering but it is the immediate cause the first link in the chain of suffering which is called dependent origination is ignorance it is because we are ignorant of reality as it is that we thirst and crave by ignorance. I do not mean on educated or not smart in Buddhism. Ignorance is the ignoring of the true nature of reality. It is not intellectual but experiential knowledge that is lacking is the Buddha explained. I do not see a single thing. That so causes on Arisen unwholesome qualities to arise as heedlessness or another translation. Puts IT in attentiveness. We see appearances not reality. We know the material world but we are strangers to our own mind as the Buddha explains not knowing suffering not knowing the origin of suffering not knowing the cessation of suffering not knowing the way leading to the cessation of suffering. This is ignorance because we lack a deep experiential knowledge of the four noble truths that we crave and therefore suffer. Architects says that there are three kinds of craving craving for sensual pleasures craving for existence craving for extermination. The first kind of craving is a thirst for central pleasures sensual pleasures the enjoyments or delights derived from our physical senses. It is desire for pleasant sights. Sounds smells tastes and touch sensations in Buddhism. The mind is also a sense. A six cents. So sensual pleasures also refers to enjoyable ideas images and other mind objects. All of these are source for craving clinging and suffering. The second kind of craving is a thirst for existence this the urge to live on in never die. We crave personal immortality and feared death. Death is an existential dread hanging over our heads that we desperately want to avoid but to fear the inevitable is to suffer. The third kind of craving is a thirst for extermination. This is most evident in the desire to commit suicide but according to the Buddha death does not end your suffering and only pushes it forward into another life when the pain of life becomes so unbearable. Death is not the answer. Awakening is only awakening to reality can free you from the cycle of suffering inclusion suffering pervades the awaken life. But now we know the cause of suffering it is craving that close by talk. Thank you for your attention. You've been listening to five minute. Dharma five minute. Dharma is a weekly podcast. The Four Tasks
"Jay Forest and you're listening to five minute Dharma Vitamin Dharma's a weekly podcast. Giving you a practical Buddhist wisdom for everyday life episode ten the four tasks most people stop at just understanding the four noble trues but this is not what the Buddha wanted in fact the Buddha said that there are three phrases in dealing with the four noble truth one of these phases is the four tasks we touchdown them before. But now you want to return to them for more detail. The Buddha said that he did not claim to have awakened until after his knowledge and vision of these four noble truths as they really are in their three phases and twelve aspects was thoroughly purified love twelve aspects or simply the three phases applied to each of the four noble truths. But what are these three phases? The first phase is the intellectual phase of understanding the four noble truths quote. This is the noble truth of suffering. The second phase is the procedural phase of implementing the task associated with the four noble truths this noble truth of suffering is to be fully understood and the second phase is the realization phase where the tasks are completed and the results experienced in one's life. This noble truth is suffering has been fully understood since we've come to have a working knowledge of the four noble truth we should turn to the four tasks the four noble truths come with four task attached to them for challenges that give practical application to these truths quote. This noble truth suffering is to be fully understood this noble truth of the origin of suffering is to be abandoned this noble truth of the cessation of suffering is to be realized the noble truth of the way leading to the cessation of suffering is to be developed. The four tasks that suffering is to be fully known craving is to be abandoned. The end of suffering is to be realized and the Path is to be developed. So when you notice suffering in your life imagine it has a little label on it. That says no me so we usually have version to suffering the best way to overcome. This is to embrace suffering. Really look at it. Welcome suffering as a teacher. A wise sage here to enlighten you until you see suffering clearly you will not see the way of escape and when you see suffering look for the hook what I mean. There is no suffering without attachment or aversion or craving look for the hook attachment the hook of aversion. Once you see the hook abandon it let go of the attachment or aversion. This is the task of where you abandoned. The origin of suffering see the hook cut the hook after every attachment or aversion. You let go of you realize a little bit more of the end of suffering but how can you fully understand suffering abandoned craving and realize the end of suffering the noble eightfold path in order to accomplish the tasks you need to develop the noble eightfold path? This means developing right view right intention right speech Right Action Right Livelihood. Right effort right. Mindfulness right concentration. Right view includes the world view of the Buddha. The includes the four noble truths the three marks of existence in an understanding of Karma. Rebirth and some Sarah. The Buddha explained the three marks of existence quote beacuse form is in permanent. What is impermanent is suffering. What is suffering is non-self what is non-self should be seen as it really is with correct wisdom thus this is not mind this is not I this is not myself when one sees this thus as it really is with correct wisdom the mind becomes dispassionate in his liberated from the taints by non clinging. Here's the three marks of existence. The first mark of existences in permanence which means that nothing stays the same all things change. All things are unreliable. All things break or die. The second mark of existence is suffering. Which means that. Nothing brings lasting satisfaction hidden in the most pleasurable moments is the seed of dissatisfaction. All good things come to an end. Nothing can give you lasting happiness. The third mark of existence is non-self which means your process not an entity like a wave on the ocean your the result of flow processes without any unchangeable substance. Buddhism denies that you have an everlasting soul in conclusion. The four noble truths are not just a doctrine to be learned more importantly they are truths that can be practiced task to be done. We need to move from the intellectual phase to the practical phase and then on to the experiential face that concludes by talk. Thank you for your attention. You been listening to five minute Dharma. Heaven and Hell
"Jay. Forester. You listening to five minute. Five minute dob as a weekly podcast giving you purchase. Buddhist wisdom for everyday life episode twenty-three, Heaven. Help. The Buddhist said. The Double Prada. I won twenty six. Some enter the womb. Evildoers go to hell the good good heaven. Those free from worldly desires attained, Nirvana? Now. It's not hard to understand the attaining. Nirvana. But what's the stuff about going to hell and going to heaven? That doesn't seem very Buddhist. And yet we find it in the Buddhist scriptures. This is because I think that. The. Proclamation of Buddhism within the West has been sterilized of anything smacking of religion. So that Buddhism doesn't seem religious. But Buddhism is a religion. Is a religion that tells you how to attain the best destination the best life. So it tells you how to live life now. So that, you have peace of mind. It tells you how to attain Heaven after You die and it tells you how to get out of the cycle of rebirth, which is called some Sarah in Buddhism through attaining Nirvana. So. Tells you these things. But we really here mainly in the West about the meditation and about finding peace and things of this nature. But this isn't the complete story of Buddhism see you get a skewed view of Buddhism. So, lately, I've been writing for PATHOS PATHOS DOT COM. And Have My. I. Have a column there called the Buddhist said. And every week I do two articles where I explore the Buddhist teachings from the Pali Canon the earliest scriptures of Buddhism. And one of the things that. I'm trying to help people. Understand. Is that Buddhism is a full religion. It's not just find inner peace. It's about avoiding hell it's about attaining heaven and ultimately attaining Nirvana. So. One of the things I explained in my articles is the difference between the conditioned reality and the unconditional reality. So we live in a conditioned reality. And that conditioned reality has five basic destinations. You have the hell realms you have the ghost realm, you have the animal realm, the human realm, and the heavenly. Realm. And those are the five destinations that you can go to in this conditioned reality. Now. If you attain Nirvana which is complete liberation, then you leave this conditioned realm and go into. What can only be said to be the UN conditioned. You can't call it. A realm realm is conditioned. So I, call it an unconditional reality but that is still saying maybe too much about it. We don't know. We only know what the on conditioned is it's unconditional born on made on created on fabricated. And it's with that understanding then you begin to look at the Buddhist scriptures used. Yes Buddha tells how to get out of the cycle of rebirth. But he also tells you well, you're here. And if you don't attain Nirvana, the best thing to do is to practice the Dharma. And the Dharma has three basic printings if you will you have the ethical training. The. Mindfulness Meditation Training and the wisdom. Training this is the insight into the true nature of reality. So the ethical will give you a good rebirth. What you want is you want to be reborn as a human because the divine places, the heavenly places to pleasurable for you to meditate and the hell places to painful and of course, by Hell I mean they're temporary. So they're more like purgatory 's all these destinations are temporary. Nothing is permanent in the conditioned room. The only thing permanent is the uncommissioned. So when she realized that what you do here, effects where you're going after your life. Then the Buddha says ethical standards is what you do to make sure you have a good rebirth. That seems odd to many people who think of Buddhism has just a meditation practice. But this is what the Buddha taught. He taught a way of escape from the conditioned reality, but he also taught within this conditioned reality how to get the best rebirth so that you can practice so that you can attain Nirvana. So that's my take on heaven and hell, the five realms and the Buddhist big picture teaching. Thank you for your kitchen. You've been listening to five minute Dahmer five minute. #172: How to yellow car your way to your little weirdo
"Welcome back to the face on business podcast i'm your host and which founder of the face and business playground i'm here with mentoring accountability on this podcast help you be you that ratio in a weird so you could make jesus ceo of you like a business and of course i would love if you come and join the free faith in business gronk report facebook's because well having conversations around a little bit different continents coming up through the political baseball dot com for slash groups slash you christian entrepreneur and that but i will put a link to that in the senate however that's crack on today's episode this episode i should won't you from the getgo is one of my favorite topics but people listening to this you a long time this is or if you're in the playground on facebook you will know ready while i'm gonna talk about i had in my notes as because he'd been to you being a do you being you and embracing in a weird day but i'm calling this episode how to yellow call your way to you only two we do we all talking about the meticulous the active aging system is one of my favorite topics as you know because it's so clever i love the way the the called created all right so then the quick version of this because i don't i these episodes like kim succinct but also i know lots of people listening would have hit me say this before but the original activating system the pop is a little bit the back of your brain that doesn't many things it regulates your body temperature amongst other things but it also actions and so the reason why including the yellow car i have eight bright yellow call as of two thousand and thirteen i think i had that call and i don't know that off the guessing my call i suddenly start to see you know come all over the place exact same cop one time we went from the holiday a one time i did see my exact call but it would accept it which french like bringing five to try and find it of meat mike hop hop lumps identical french version of like how about around town i don't see the exact same scott a but i do see yet accounts all over the place now the reason why that happens is thanks to the vet you activate it will happen to you think about this very moment if you've ever had and occasion while you but when you come on seventy east on income like your or the place or maybe a friend of the family bug bites and you call i quite often one of my daughters his best friend her mom hasn't really cute baby blue collar on on i see these baby blue caused quite often around time is when i know when i when it to although she gave her a great big weight and so when i see a baby blue collar coming towards max look and see or not but it's not just comic obviously you know the other examples of issues if you find that you're expecting you're baby or somebody within your close friends or family is expecting a baby you're suddenly stopped seeing people with christian in from all over the place because your brain will filter in the things that things are important to you if you would consciously notice every single piece of information that comes up a year and a day you would go on 'cause you're like nothing done because you spend you're holding them to sing just such a save you from going completely anonymous or from being paralyzed by oversee formation your brain axes offense in a similar way to the facebook algorithm this is my concrete well real world example for you they're out there how many said they said well how many posted on facebook in the day but facebook's quickly discovered it would be too much if you but if you show you let me every single piece of content and the pages that you liked the groups that you're in the people that you're friends with it would be too much so instead facebook's stilted what it shows you may stomach things things you like so the things you comment comment on the things you interact with with like love and i go and those buttons on the things you click on links not signals the facebook algorithm that stuff is important to you and they stop the show you more of the same that's why my advice to you as an aside if you don't like what you're seeing in your facebook feed still clicking on stuff consciously stunt clicking on things that you we want to interact with it that's why the anger button i mean he tried to avoid using that angered by john i try to avoid interacting the things that make me cry because i know otherwise icicle shammy more that and i don't wanna see that so how this works and your brain how could you signal gio braveheart important so when you buy a new car we find that you're pregnant it becomes just focus if your attention i'm this relates to you embracing you'll have to find out more about who you are i want to encourage you just stop thinking about starting to see things ready make you smarter so had conversations with four with people about happiness now i maintain the not chilly day today happiness contentment joy it's not about doing real stuff if not about having more holidays is not about taking the children to eight place the is fun for example instead it's about noticing were already makes you smile in a day because by doing that your brain will start to work for you if you couldn't they just were ready lights you up it will signal hill right that's it's important to her and she won't end your brain will stop so turned into more of the same as if you start noticing those little quirks and eccentricities things that make you moved to sing yeah and actually if you feel so inclined the colts have been some i take offense to grow i have i have a habit and everytime i saw an orange slug of taken a photo of it if you haven't seen in orange agents night on whether i just whether they died off or whether my brain doesn't think it's important anymore i do keep mentioning on the podcast and trying to signal to migrate in the espy's orange legs it's still important to me but tonight avail but but if you can record it in some weight like meditate and you'll go do something concrete became dot com action is another way of signaling your brain but not stuff is important to you and all these two things they go together to make a difference they will make you smile but i would also help you as you figure out who is dispassionate god made me to be on as evidence that reminder as well off go to show you know we you will notice things and get those not just from garden you might be going about your day and he couldn't eat thanks to the hattiesburg you'll get there is not two of what those things are but sometimes we were so busy and so they focused on doing the work we don't get time we don't allow myself to see that so i guess review the press stopped everyday is open my eyes helped me to see see you know there's a story of iowa's but it's like jet relationship one of them he's his seven always helper is co worker or wherever couldn't see the full days of good that were surrounding them until go utterly joy like shack whichever one prayed god open their eyes and so i guess the crime everyday is open my eyes just see those things like i said i'm going to help you see those things like you who is it who had like one of the comments that we have a conversation we had in facebook's in the group a last week was wouldn't be quite honest assessment not i don't know who i am one of the one of the statements and that was echoed by somebody else's well if you don't no stop noticing the times when you gina hospital help you see more of what looks like i'm your brain then because go designed it outweigh will also help you as well so is your writing prompt or however you recording i remind you that is the right thing from is well already lights you up well already makes you smile will already oh how were you were anti being you were already all those quick snacks and two cities lots of questions in that but they're all basically the same question and we're gonna wrap up and you know what already lights you up makes you smile helps you to be you start noticing things a recall them in some white ideally coming shana moving the face but great because well we could talk about this together but stop saying i'm going to say and then you'll brain were filtered more examples and the more you see the easier it becomes just see it's like some couldn't possibly have fun with that like i remind you if they know lighten up a five minute don't get to like angst about it there on environments

November 15, 2018 Update
"Hey you. Yeah. You the ear buds in your ears? Allowing my voice to penetrate your ear holes. Whoa. Well, I guess that might have been getting a bit too personal Hasso. Okay. Fair enough. Anyways. I wanted to give you a quick update about Don talt. No. I'm not canceling it. No. I'm not putting it on Haiti's. So stop looking at me like that. The update is there won't be an actual release schedule for the foreseeable future. I know I've stated many times that I try to do a show at least three times per week. But let's be real it ain't happening. I'm working on a daily five minute tech podcast long with my business, obliga-, shins and other family duty. So yeah, just not a commitment. I can make the Don talk for three episodes a week hell, not even one per week. So they'll be as the saying goes catches catch can besides unless the content is interesting and entertaining. I mean, what's what what's really the point? Right. So not cancelled not own haggis. Just no real Rama reason as to release schedule. Until the next episode drops, just remember, engage your brain.
Sharing Sharable Info In Show Notes For Your Podcast [Episode 243]
"If you want more engagement from your podcast listeners make it easy year for your listeners. To engage with your content. I mean it's often even literally in the palm of their hands. Hello and welcome to another podcast uncast pontificate with me Ego Tara. The people want to engage with your content. I want you to give them an easy way to do that. And I'm going to walk you through something very simple that you probably think you're doing right now that you might not be doing right so I'm going to talk to you about a way to get the engagement up on your show. Two things I have to tell you about as as a part of that one. This was inspired by my last weekend. Deep deep dive into one particular style of podcasting a particular style that I guess I kind of started with but I've gotten away from It doesn't matter what that particular style genre is but it was because of that as I was digging in deep looking listening to things trying trying to share things that I liked problems developed. So that's one thing. The second thing is stay tuned for the end because I've got an announcement about the show. Yeah but it'll be in just a moment you'll you'll have our future episodes back to the issue of making show more sharable. See The challenge here is you you guys all think that you're doing a great job with your show notes. You've heard this term bandied about shouts. I'm here to tell. Oh you that many shows perhaps your show doesn't do a great job of show notes and the specific show notes. I'm speaking of are are the show notes that appear in the podcast APP. Whatever your listeners? Listening to on that device you you have the ability to create text based content that they can see and listeners. While they're listening to your show can then click through on whatever device that they're using whatever APP that they're using to see the information you have provided to them. I'm not talking talking about your website. The page you've made your episode. I'm talking about the actual episode descriptions that go inside of the podcast cast APP. Now if you're already scratching your head about that stay tuned actually if you scratching your head about that. Here's what I want you to do right now as you're listening into this show opened up your podcast APP. That were clearly. It's already open. You're listening to me right now. Open your podcast APP. And don't go to into the my hi details go to your show. Your podcast APP should allow you to continue playing this show in the background. While you go back and navigate and finding your own show because you're subscribed to to your own show right right so go to your most recent episode of that particular show and I want you to click through to click through and look at the episode details the text the more info the whatever else. That's in there. And that's what I I WANNA talk about. Because as I was listening to these shows last weekend I was doing that. I was going through because a lot of the shows when I got done with the episode towards the end. There's a credit role of all the people. They WANNA thank. That are involved with it. The Voice of this was done by this production done by this and this and these studios and all these various things are mentioning people by name. They're mentioning them by name. I click through and the show no notes the episode details maybe a paragraph and not a single name. I can't even search wjr because some of the names. I don't know how to spell the names. I heard the names. I can repeat the names. I guess I could try voice search if I wanted to. But you know I'm still going to be at the type type type searching like a lot of other people are. I can't just can't search because I don't know how it spelled. Why not make links to all of this stuff your show notes that go inside of the APP? The episode details should contain lots of information a lot of information specifically. Have you say someone's name if you mentioned someone. Boom put that name and linked to whatever this is right for that person. Their twitter page their their facebook page their website there. What if I don't really care? Just I pay names and links to various things these listening notes these this micro copy as I call the these episode episode details are critical. Look when you're talking to someone like I'm talking to you right now. You can say pull out your phone. More information is available available in the APP. You're listening to not you. Don't have to memorize episode number one twenty nine and all that other stuff that is being told out there. Look just pull out your phone and go. Click on the link that I've made easy for you. That's what your job is a podcast risk. Give them the directives. They have this device in their hands where they can get more information formation. That's how they're listening to your content. Tell them about it and yes. I do recognize that. A lot of us me included. Listen to podcasts. While we drive. I'm not gonNA pull over and pull out my phone. I get that but not everybody's driving when they're listening to your show. I get that. oftentimes people are doing various chores. They're doing I'm doing dishes. I'm getting my hands are full of suddenly. I don't have time to reach in my back pocket and pull out my phone. Just listen to link. I I get that but not everyone who listens to your podcast. Is Washing dishes right now. If I'm driving I'm washing dishes or doing something else when when I can get to it you know what I probably can't do. I probably pause and backup later or I can go back to what I can say. Where did I hear that? What was that I heard? Oh you know what hang on. I have this device that that actual content is still there. Let me go back. Find that episode Click through opened the show notes and then get the information I was looking for. It's all right there so my ask ask to. You is to go look at your most recent episode whether you produced it or somebody else produced that I don't really care. Go to your most most recent episode and take a look at the episode details. Are they good are they. Specifically about that episode. Is it the sentence. And that's it for your thirty five minute long show. Is that really great. No did you mention anything on that episode that you should have had links inside of your episode notes. You mention anyone by name that you should list. That's what that's for. Don't think of this as the credits at the end of the movie movie. This is stuff that people have access to know. They shouldn't have to open up the show notes to engage with your show but it might make a lot of sense for you to encourage them to do do that but that means you have to write really good stuff and put it in there and yes I also recognize that a lot of the podcast media players applications. They don't do a good job displaying show notes. That's not an excuse for you to not do them. That's their bad. And the more people that are doing a good job with their show notes putting relevant information in gives those apps and directories and media players more rationale the for why they should do a better job of supporting the information. And if you're looking at the big podcasters and saying well so and so doesn't do it as an issue every day. There's nothing well you know. Big People don't have to play by the same rules. Everybody else does. They can get away with a lot of stuff but also they should be we think how much better. Ob if they would so go ahead and do it so today's episode hope. You enjoyed that once. They got two more coming out to more coming out this this week on other things you should do to make your show better and then I'm taking a little bit of a break. I'm GonNa take a break for the month of November and December two thousand nineteen. You'll still get content tomorrow and the next day I'm not going anywhere. But November and December two thousand nineteen. The show is going on break because I need a break. Now you can still talk to me. I still have the flick dot group slash podcast pontificate at that. You are more than welcome to come and join and have a conversation with me. Yes yes you can still buy me a coffee by coffee dot com slash. Yvo Tara. Because I'm I'm not disappearing from life. I'm just putting the show on pause while I work on new content. So it'll still be tweeting all the other stuff that you've come to enjoy in love about me and of course if you are in business and you need help with your podcast. The business isn't going on pause. Yeah just just me just me in this particular. It'll show specifically so get in touch with me. Yvo At podcast launched up pro or go to podcast. Thoughtful Thursdays 008: Are some jobs beneath you? Hopefully you think so.
"Welcome to hacking, your leadership. I'm Chris and welcome to another thoughtful Thursday's episode. We appreciate everyone. Who's listening today? If you haven't done so already please follow us on Instagram at hacking, your leadership, leave us a review in up podcast. And most importantly, if you're an episode that resonates with you share with your, friends and coworkers the reason we've been on the I tunes what's hot list for the past few weeks is because listeners like you continue to talk about us and Chevy's episodes. All right for this week's episode. I wanted to discuss the attraction some leaders seem to have to doing some of the most basic tasks in their organizations usually out of an effort to appear like no job as beneath them or like, they have no problem getting their hands dirty in an office building. This could be stocking supplies data entry or cleaning out the break room. Refrigerator in a retail store could be jumping on a cash. Register to do some transactions when it's busy taking the trash out or even cleaning bathrooms when I was much younger. I believe these things were indicators of a good boss because if you know, your boss will never ask you to do anything. They wouldn't do themselves. It implies positive things about their character. But as I spent more time in the workforce and had the opportunity to work for many leaders and see. Many different leaders in action a come to think a little differently about it. Come to believe that many of the leaders who do this just don't believe their contribution, and the business is visible enough to their employees or understood enough by their employees, Lorenzo, and I have spoken several times on the balanced between strategic work and tactical work, and every person does both just to different extents entry level position. Spend almost all their time doing tactical work by the leaders of organizations. Spend almost all their time doing strategic work tactical work is visible work. It's it's either visible when you're doing it. People can watch you do it or it's visible in that the results in the outcomes of that work are quantifiable, but strategic work as much harder to see in quantify strategic work is shown in high level outcomes broad policy changes and the general inklings of change in an organization, it has a much more significant impact on the culture of an organization, but it can almost never be attributed to a single person with. This means is that people who spend their day in this space need to be confident in their contributions. They needed to a lot of trusting that their people execute effectively. But more importantly, they need to understand that their days of receiving credit for the. Quantifiable tactical work are largely over when a person finds us uncomfortable. And they get promoted you can see them hanging onto a lot of their former job duties or trying to micromanage how those duties or done by the new person in the role the leaders who are comfortable in the space are the ones who understand their most important job is developing their employees, both as employee's. But more importantly as people who almost undoubtedly move on at some point to a different role at different company, a different group of co-workers leaders. They understand that not to have the right to develop an employee. They I need to have a relationship with that employee based on mutual trust and respect I've been in rooms were leaders were innocently asked by an employee. What it is they actually do all day leaders who feel like they're being challenged or grilled in the situations tend to get flustered and then answer with a made up list of very tactical items than an making them seem overpaid for what they supposedly do, but leaders understand the importance of relationships as a prerequisite to people development have no problem talking about how they spent some of their day people watching then it'd be had lunch with an employee where they didn't really talk about work much than they sat in on a conference. Call. Asked another employee to take the notes of that call and send them out by Email. Maybe they had several three to five minute conversations of employees were sports or clothing or kids were discussed and then the last hour of their day. They sat down and how to performance appraisal where career growth and potential was discussed with an employee with thought they about to get promoted. But it just didn't happen this time, and they really need that employees to continue to perform engaged at work to the untrained eye. This looks like a pretty cushy day. But in reality at some of the toughest and most consequential work person can do the responsibility weighs heavily on leaders who grasp the magnitude of their job, but they also wouldn't trade it for anything. So when I see a leader whose job duties are supposed to lie heavily in this world of people development start to take on tactical items and a very public way. I don't see a person who showing they can work in the trenches with their people. I see a person who doesn't fully comprehend that every minute. They spend filling the copier paper or wiping down shelves is a minute. Their employees are being shortchanged. So if your leader people instead of worrying about proving, your employees that you're one of them start showing your employees how seriously you take their futures. Gnome of lookback memorably on the best boss. They ever had who helped the number you the trash, but they will look back on the best boss. They ever had who made them into better people and who helped them fulfill their professional dreams, thanks for listening. And we'll see you on Monday.

169 - Happiness over Hustle - 5 minutes of Momentum
"Welcome to five minutes of my tend. These episodes are a short five minute bursts of inspiration, motivation and massive action. If you need that little kick up the to get things moving into its slash, take massive action every single Thursday I'll be sending through a five minute episode to download, Digest and implement to finish your week off strong. He ready to get started. Let's. Welcome to five minutes of momentum today I want to dive into happiness or hassle. There is so much talk about Hustle Hustle Hustle Hustle. You GotTa do the hardware can you absolutely need to diving and do the hard work you need to keep taking action toward goals but if you can do it while you're happy that easier, it becomes, it doesn't have to be hard and the way that we think about it changes the way that we act and change the way that we feel as we're taking the action. So we're constantly telling us it's too hard work. It's a lot of effort that it's going to be. I'm going to be exhausted after this, and the way that we think about is going to impact the way that we take action the way that we feel. But what if you could do it while you happy what if you could focus on feeling good I and take the inspired action that needs to happen and the biggest difference that makes not only in your overall wellbeing that it's your ability to manifest and bring things into your reality. There is just something to go with our energy and focus when we are happy about it and we're excited about something and we feel good taking the action. So what if you focused on just feeling happy. Feeling good most of the time riots all something that you can do all the time life is fifty fifty. We're going to have negative emotions but what if you focused on the field? Good thought. And allow yourself to follow the feel good thoughts of the possibilities of what's available to you. I am such a big believer in manifestation and the biggest thing that's when you think about you've got to be specific on you want you've got to expect that it's going to happen and got to believe in it. So you've got to believe in yourself worth to be deserving of what it is that you want to bring into your wells. But. Then you've got to feel good about it. The more you feel with the Moya and easier it is just to manifest and reduce the amount of resisted thought that we have towards that positive thing coming into our world. So I believe in happiness over hustle. Hustle has its place there's going to be times when you need to hustle hard to make something happen and I've always been someone to take action especially with us a deadline in place but what I found to be so much more effective as just leaning into working on my alignment and making myself feel good I. So then I want to take the action and then everything becomes so much easier when you have to Hustle Hustle Hustle and it's this push masculine way of just putting things out. there. Then you'll always have that energetic of efforts whereas if you feel good I knew taking action for the good of the world and you're taking action replace of feeling good and your allowing yourself to enjoy the process. Then everything else has become so much easier and this is the thing just because they've been taught that we have to do the hustle and we've been talked about in society about how we have to go and work. So hard does not necessarily mean we have to and that doesn't. Even necessarily mean that it works right like you know that old saying what you have to work hard to and money like people. Do you know in your life that work really hard to get paid? Terribly hard work does not necessarily equal more money. When you focus on your alignment, you focus on feeling good it could just be easy. You can put in the same amount of work you're not requiring so much emotional energetic output of hustle hustle hustle go go go and it's just so much. Easier like you putting pressure on yourself, you'll reducing the standard expectation that you have on yourself, and then things become easier when you surround yourself with that energy. Then you manifest things left right and center. It is crazy how things have just been showing up in my word lightly just it's been easy riot. I've just been focused on the ease on the play on the creativity on the enjoyment of life stepping into the sun for the sun, my skin and enjoying that feeling of warmth on my skin. Taking time out when I need to take time out focusing on the joy that I get from my client sessions and really allow myself to stop and take a moment to really reflect on the beauty and the experience of seeing my clients transform in front of my eyes. If. I was so focused on hustle. I would miss all of that. I would miss the beauty in life Mr butterflies that are always in my backyard. I would miss the hilarious things. My cat does I, would miss the joy I see my nieces and nephews faces when we chat online like there is so much joy and happiness to live with stop take. A moment to really notice it and focus on it when we focus on following our feel good thought there are moorefield, thoughts too far into enjoy. So when you allow yourself to really see that beauty happiness is your birthright you get to enjoy it, but you've gotta practice it. So practice the happiness rather than the hustle and everything you want will come you away.

Welcome to the five minute functionally podcast each week I talk about how to move in G and make money you'll learn how to create a prosperous home in an abundant life using classical Chinese funkaway. Let's get started on the five minutes. That could change your life. Hello, there and welcome to five minute functions. Way Today it's Gosh. It's were at the top of June and just getting started on the summer months and already things if heated up I, know you know lots of stuff is going on in the world right now. With the pandemic, we also have a lot of of protesting in looting in writing in the United States, which is creating? Even more of a powder cake kind of feeling. Yes, there was an injustice, and there is no no doubt about that whatsoever but we got to make sure that you know. We try to maintain some type of even Keel in our own homes, and in our own hearts believer that piece begins with you and so whatever you can do to create calm and peace and and tranquility in your life. will extend outwards so This is a really important episode to me. Personally because it's one that I'm a big believer that if we can fix what's in our heart, and what's in our home? We're GONNA fix. What's out in the world big believer in that, so let's talk about how to create a peaceful home in turbulent times. So you know we've. Had so much tragedy one thing after another now there's a pandemic. The news filled with death and senseless violence and destruction and more arrives every day. Really the question turns to. How do you keep your home and life peaceful when the world outside your door feels? I gets turned upside down. As I, said no matter what's happening piece really does begin with you where you live live and how you choose to respond, and one of those ways you respond is with funkaway function. Your home is a very powerful way to create a respite from the difficulties outside before walls, and it can help you create a peaceful home environment that no matter what's happening in the outside world. Your safe place is in your functionally home. We look to our homes to provide a sensory reprieve, and you want to unplug from the stresses of the outside in the often stimulating in now violent and troubled world, and also viral world with all the virus these are these are all things that way impress on our hearts and minds at spirit, but if you can build up a home funkaway. That becomes that safe place. It will nurture and refresh you, but this is really important to remember though your house should not be so then that it calms you out to point the ready to fall asleep. Instead provides elements that help you to regroup so that you can take on. And function effectively in the outside world or in or in your home in your job. If maybe your home worker, you're you telecommute we want to be able to still be productive. Still be active and not withdraw from the world, but but create a safe in enhancing space for us in creating that calm relaxing home, though isn't always as easy as it seems because the elements of a serene space. Aren't always obvious. Let's talk about some of those things that will help create a calm, peaceful, refreshing environment out of your home, too, so that you can have a truly functional home. That's a peaceful yet energizing sanctuary. The first is to make your home mentally restful. Really your home has to be a line in the sand between you troubling world events or work in this really important electronic demands to It's so important that we reign in or electron IX light the television. If your home is like a lot of people's, the television may be centrally. Centrally located or and turned on whether you're watching it or not now this may not be true view a lot of punctuate. People are very good about keeping their their television rain den, but if you're if you're television on all the time, maybe you've got US sports watcher I, I have a couple of guys. Hey, I'm not trying to be gender biased here, but you know if they're around. The TV's on an so I have to really work at it and my house, so it may not be that way in your house, but if if. If I'm home with Mike is there's a golf game match on, or there's something going on on the TV at the time, so we WANNA. Make sure though that TV doesn't have that superior status over the occupants so. One of the ways that I manage it is by moving the TV into. We have our own room so that way. The whole house isn't some you know. News report or a sports event or something like that? It's really important that when the that you only turn the TV on when you're sitting in front of it. So. Let's talk about some other things for restful homes, and that's organizations I cannot say enough about building systems of organization. When your home is organized, it is mentally and visually restful. If you've ever cleaned out the Pantry, you'll know how you want to go and look at the pantry because it's all organized, I know my mom just did that recently, and it and she kept saying I just WanNa. WanNa open up the doors and just look at it because if feel so good, we are instantly attracted to things that are organized and Organiz spaces. They make us feel like there's order in the world, and we need order in our inner world when there's disorder in our outer world I can't stress that enough, so US organizers bought. You Know I. Give Myself Carte Blanche to buy whatever. Closet or Pantry, organizers or anything around the House that helps keep us organized and neat. That makes all the difference for me. in in my home and how I feel about it. The other thing is being meet. After all the disturbing images, we see online and immediate in the media. We need visual Com so being tidy like putting away the dishes on the scene goes. into the dishwasher making your bed daily, it really helps us to relieve worry and stress, and if we are neat and tidy, and I can't say enough good things about making your bed every single day and keeping the kitchen tidy as well key. Put the dishes away. The other thing is adding plenty of light, especially natural light. It's the best punctuate, but so are lamps chandeliers, so keep your home nice and Lit Im- bright. Bright to keep your energy up. The other thing is used that off button. I know when I finished working for the day I never let my computer go to sleep. I. Turn it off. That is my signal to me that this is now my time to be at home and not be at work, and so every day I power down my computer every day. Because that means now it worked. Time is over and. And now relaxing time is on, you know when you have a phone, a tablet computer that's always turn on that constant beeping in buzzing means you're always on demand so silence that phone or tablet or computer when you're home, laptop and check it occasionally. Check your emails occasionally. Don't be Pavlovian where everything dings and you immediately pick it up. You know of course users discretion here. I'M NOT SAYING THAT IF If somebody's in the hospital and you. You're to hear on a phone call from someone that you should turn your phone off. Please your you know what I'm saying that, but I sometimes I get emails from people say we're. You said to turn it off and I have someone in the hospital. You know it's like used percents you know what to do, but especially if you're with your family or your your eating together a. A put the phone two way you look at each other talk to each other. That really makes a difference in how we feel in our home now. Let's talk about making your home visually relaxing I love to create views out window at my window, so then that could be through garden or or having some kind of distance that you can see front whenever we can see out and beyond our house gives our eyes. Eyes and our spirit arrest. This is why people love to go to beaches mountains for vacation, because we crave that kind of rest that only long opened distances, provide us, but in your home you can do that by opening the shades and curtains every day, or you can remove them altogether and but have some kind of you. It really helps if you can you know maybe an apartment complex. You can't do that, but. But maybe you can put a mirror opposite a window, so had some brightness, and maybe you have a a tree that it can reflect that tree, so it brings that tree more indoors really liked that plants and garden statuary make for wonderful views from indoors so if you can do that, get out in the garden and create some beautiful views from your windows. The only thing is calming colors you know. Know One of the reasons that people like to go to Scott a spa so much is because they provide sensory rest like massage and facials, but they also provide visual rest. They usually have muted colors and their decor, so if feel like doing a painting project, you know a monochromatic Palette. Where the ceiling? The walls and the woodwork is all the same color is one way to create a really calm and serene. You can do that or just use if you WANNA do trim. That's just a shade or two different That's one way to use the calming colors, obviously colors that are neutrals such as Beige. Or White neutral or even graze our soothing to us very calming. Things make your house. Pretty. You know some decorating magazines and pick up some ideas and use them as your inspiration. Make a little little decorating board of how you would like your bedroom to look or ways you can rearrange your your living room. the more attractive in the more you put into your house and make it beautiful and appealing to you. The more it will lift your energy and beauty is great funkaway whenever it lifts our heart, you know our eyes are directly connected to our hearts. When we see something beautiful, our heart lifts just like my mom. Her heart lifted when she would open her pantry and see a hall beautifully organized in ranged. It's the same thing but do it for organization, but also for beautification for your home and decorating the other thing is to make your home audibly. So you know that TV, it's always on you know. Turn it off or if you're TV's in a central location, one of the things that when I was selling House that we. We invested in was we had a TV room and we had big giant. TV and I downloaded a excuse me I bought. A DVD oven ocean seen should turtles and fish swimming bind? Had this beautiful relaxing music? Put something like that on. I think that would be a terrific way to add some beautiful sound to your home and see some beautiful images that are moving which is also important for keeping the energy activate in. In Your House, you can also use like a tabletop top fountain, or have some kind of a water feature that creates a soft sound. Just shut them off at night. Put them on a timer. So that so that you don't hear them at night, but hearing that water so relaxing enjoyable, then you can also hang beautiful wind chime those those big. A wind chimes have those low soothing tones or so relaxing, and it's. It's a great way to create a peaceful atmosphere while clearing some stale energies, Gaza listen to some nice music in the House and put it on your system in your in your home and put beautiful music throughout. It's a really nice way to lift energy and make it feel comfortable that we also want to make our home really restful because a restful home to prepare for our day ahead in the world outside your door. So when you're home, review regenerates your mind and spirit. You're gonNA feel more centered and more relaxed so really key in this is creating clear space that means anywhere you see congestion of stuff. We want to clear that. Whereas appointive congestion usually that's bathroom counter tops kitchen countertops the dressers or table tops next to the SOFA. Whatever you can do to remove and clear off. Those items will create a restful feel for you. It makes the space feel more serene, and it gets visual clutter out of the way. The, other thing is adding some quiet space I love having a comfortable chair near a window with a little table where I can read have a glass of wine and look out the window or him. Sit and. Or reflect I love having a quiet space so if he can find a little little nook where you can carve out a little quiet space, roussel, the it'd be a wonderful way to add rest to your home and relaxation. The other thing is to place emphasis on your bedroom that are so important in creating a restful home to many bedrooms or little over functional and stimulated to have computers. COMPUTERS EXERCISE EQUIPMENT MAY BE DASS or stacks of book anything that divert your attention from the two things of the most important in the bedroom rest and romance needs to be removed so you definitely want to have a room that's designated for rest relaxation in Romance, because it refreshes in rejuvenates you the best, and although many people like to think of their home as a cocoon from the. The whole world, your bedroom Chevelle that your bedroom should be the cocoon, so create a tranquil space is an in that. cocooning space is really an important key to be able to fully rest, and what's more, these spaces are more romantically sparring, too. So make your bedroom comfortable and enjoyable cocoon to be an select earthy restful colors. Take the mirrors off the wall if they reflect the bed. Bed they can be to stimulating in disrupt your sleep. take the TV out of the bedroom. If you have a tendency to watch news, programs or programs with violence before going to bed, that can be kind of upsetting I'm not I'm I I. Don't have a problem with a t. v. in the bedroom. Myself personally but I, have you know we have control over it. I do not watch anything that's upsetting to me. before bad. It's always something I have some shows I like to watch before going to bed that a really calming a soothing to me, so that's If you WANNA TV in your bedroom judging against that you know you can do it, but if if you're watching really violent shows I just don't think that's a good idea. For creating restful sleep, the other thing is to add textures in your bedroom like Chenille or satin or silk, because it gives your your body, some tactile comfort, and in pleasure to your skin, so I really liked that it's important to do that. Also. We want to think about creating home. That has natural elements in it. Use Natural elements liberally because they create harmonious atmosphere kind of like bringing outside in this could be a vase of fresh flowers, an orchid plant, a pretty cluster, gems, or crystals or Geo to add a natural touch I love to have I mentioned earlier having a mirror opposite a window, so it repeats that outdoor view another overlooked area for creating commies your garden. It doesn't matter if you live in a studio, apartment or grand. Grand Estate Focus on adding window boxes to hold cheerful flowers, or adding to your landscaping and gardening such as improving your curb appeal or adding new flowers or herb or vegetable garden. This is a great way to bring more nature into your life, and into your home that and in the outdoors it surrounds it I, think an outdoor living space is a wonderful way to add relaxation to your home and be able to entertain or or enjoy a fire of wine. Maybe a barbecue, just watching fireflies. Lastly and this is very very important is to make your home feel clean and comfortable. Cleanliness is really important in funkaway in. It's not often talked about or not talked about enough. There's we hear a lot about clutter and I I've been into many homes that are visually neat. When you look closer, Oh boy, do they need? They can go in there with gloves. Let's just put it that way. what they really need is a good scrubbing and you know nothing feels as good as a freshly cleaned home. You just feel. You know it's relaxing, but. A lot of times. That cleaning is done in a large chunk time. Maybe on the weekend. It can take you a few hours. instead try to keep cleaning items in a bucket or basket. Close to where you're. You need them like an a bathroom. Just take a quick minute to wipe off. COUNTERS DOODOO small quick cleaning jobs and do picking up frequently this will help. Keep your home need and tidy, and on an in do regular cleaning I just had my housekeeper. Calm and I. Tell You I. I've done housekeeping, but it's an. It's actually something that I joy. The problem is is I. I just run out of time and I don't I don't have I, have between work and family and and my business. It's just too hard to get it all done, so I tried to save that that that's one of those things were tried to save time by hiring help and I love love love my housekeeper. She's just beautiful job and everything sparkles and feels good. So you know look at at hiring somebody? If it's just not something you can that you enjoy or you hate but I, know even you. It's like one of those things I hate doing laundry, but I love clean clothes. And grudgingly do my laundry I know some people have nothing better than that dryer running all the time and folding towels and that kind of thing That's just not what I I enjoy doing but even so I wish I could hire that out. But you know, do those small quick things around the House that keep it clean. Think about hiring somebody. If you just don't have the time like me, or you just hate it. and you just despise housekeeping whatever your reason is just keep a clean home clean sparkling home. The feels good and smells good lifts your mood and makes you feel centered and grounded. and. Try adding some natural or some clean smelling sense. You know there's since Myers has has those beautiful cleaners that smell very natural Forego though the ones that are too flowery, overly sweet or smell artificial, those natural cleaners that use essential oils will create a really relaxing natural fragrance. While you clean, and we'll make your whole. It will just fresh in your whole space all right well. We have talked about how to create a calm and peaceful home in turbulent times I hope that you will give some thought to working on your home and your space so that it can support you and make you feel. Good and come back to yourself a little bit after we have all these energies that are going on around us all right? Let's talk about the three tips on the first is clear and clean off countertops and tabletops. This creates visual and mental rest. If you have a blender in the kitchen that you only use once every other week, put it away. I know I I make toast. Times a month. My blend my toaster is put away. my coffee maker. I make a pot every single day. It stays on the counter, but everything else goes into the cabinets, and it makes me feel fresh and clean and this is how you can instantly create a sense of calm in your own home is by clearing off the tops of cabinets, countertops, dressers, and so forth. Tip Number to add some music and create. An energy with motion and music or sound in your home like beautiful calming music, it could be getting a DVD like I was talking about that. Has Ocean waves or a crackling fire for the winter, or maybe it's like what I have with. It was an ocean. We've had these beautiful flowers of flowers. They are flowers. Flowers of the ocean beautiful fish that would swim around what they say is one of the most relaxing things that actually have shown proves to bring your blood. Pressure down is watching fish so might be a good investment during the. Coronavirus pandemic is to have something that if you can't keep up with the fish, a fish tank you get at least keep up with fish on your TV screen and bring beautiful calming images to your home, lastly is clean regularly and agonizers. Keep your space as organized as you can. This is a great time to be doing all these household chores and projects which. which are just I feel like our lot of fun and that regular cleaning schedule it schedule it putting on your schedule. Get it schedule with that house cleaner or cleaning services. If you need to, but do it regularly on, and in fact, maybe do it a little bit more often if you can. Because right now this the extra clean is an important health aspect to. All right today has been a wonderful podcast for me. I really enjoy talking about how to create home. A Lesson on Self Worth with Humble The Poet
"This is five minute Friday. Today, we have a special five minute Friday with humble the poet Canadian born rapper spoken word artist poet in international bestselling author more talking about how to maintain a sense of self worth through any break-up. And how did this side your motions? He's got a new book out called unlearn one hundred and one simple truce for a better life. Let's dive in. A few weeks ago got the hang out with Lewis, and we went out for carbs and had some real talk. We talked a lot about our heartbreaks relationships of the pass. It didn't go. Well, and realized is not a lot of opportunities spaces for guys to kinda talk about that. You know, we all for some reason have it in her head that will be judged or consider soften doing. So. So I really appreciate Lewis for creating us base for me. And it really is buyer. These thoughts we experienced a lot of intense pain who enjoyed out of a situation that we've I'll you'd so dear, you know, being thrown into a world that feels known we start to feel worthless alone. Scared everything we knew everything we wanted everything we understood gone so quickly. I've had my heartbroken once or twice more than I can count. Actually. And thought you survivor once and it won't be so bad. The next time. What I feel to realize the heart doesn't break the same way choice. Whenever we go through the first time probably won't get us a second. Instead of something new in probably more intense and knocks over again, my husband broken by friends business partners, girls way, more than a care to admit. And I'm fortunate to have never experienced any heartbreak at the has my family. Some of you have betrayal sucks, and I'm sorry. If you listening to this, and I'm reopening any wounds as I said, it's all central a broken heart an injury on the inside, and is very little that we can do on the outside to make it feel better. There's only so much. We can do we're mostly at the mercy of time time heals all time reveals all and it does not work at our schedule during this time feel so intense, and it's really difficult to bear. And we started to feel hopeless. I just wanna share some things that I. Realized during the difficult times that I've gone through. None of it's easy. And it's going to keep in mind that time takes his course, most of these ideas, only gain relevance. When we go to a heartbreak, and it's the realization that make me grateful that I went through those experiences are heart is an organ and is not broken but distress rowing through combined with the lack of sleep and poor diet and other choices can seriously harm our health. We have to make healthy decisions drinking may appear to numb to pain. But it's really a depressant. And it's dangerous. Addition in dependence can develop my mother lost two brothers to alcohol one after divorce alcohol and heartbreaks definitely do not mix. Also, if you were dumped or cheated on or even worse realize the relationships that come to an end because of a mismatch, compatibility and priorities. Not because you're not good enough. Don't mistake incompatibility for your personal worth is. Someone dumps you is because there wasn't a fit or you weren't. Taking them to where they think they need to be even if they tell you, you're worthless. You're not even if you feel worthless. You're not your personal worth determined by you never allow it to be dictated by anybody else. If you can't love yourself. You have no business seeking love from others to be betrayed mean. Someone didn't live up to their end of the bargain that bargain may be assumed or explicit either way promises broken every day ignoring this fact, a reason that Bogan promises thing so much expectations of the key ingredient disappointment, the less, you expect from others the less they can let you down as much as your mind may say differently. All we have is now yesterday doesn't exist. If you can only be assumed now is all we have as what we need to focus on. We feel scared and confused when plans or derail the truth is that uncertainty is the most realistic depiction of a future. So get used to it chain. Not the enemy is the only consistency in our life. So less folk. Focus and practice adapting. Happiness is not what happens to us as how we deal with things that happened. Again. This is easier said than done, but you're better off even trying to gain some control on your life. By deciding your motions, we all have plenty to celebrate it in a life, and we can focus on what we have or what we lost. But that focus is choice in the emotions that come with that focus or a consequence of the choices. We make you see unhappiness is when that picture and head doesn't match the pitcher that's in front of us when we were a kid, and we wanted to toy mom said no and dragged aside of the store, we were heartbroken. Maybe even so mad. We didn't speak to her for a while. But we got over it. As we grow our experiences. Just applied versions of that story. We're not going to get what we want all the time realize that something there in our control. And most things are not we need to meditate on what we can. And what we cannot remedy the things we can let's work to move on from them comparing ourselves to others, just a thief of joy who. Gives a fuck. How many of our friends are in relationships finally Cleese realize everything that we're going through in life is temporary including life as a whole and the grand scheme of things we're gonna look back these events and realise how little they matter harming ourselves or worse can lead to permanent problems to feel helpless to feel like we're drowning in the pain is deep sickening and feels like there's no end in sight. I know that. But please remember with any problem. We've had in our entire lives time. Help us adapt to the change and allowed us to move forward. If distress and pain is too much to deal with please seek professional help, you love ones may have the best intentions, but they may not have the tools and skills to help you get to where you need to go emotions are related to chemicals in our brain. And we're all unique in composition. So it's okay to seek additional support to get over what we're going through. I love you for the simple fact that you're taking time to hear my thoughts. So please remember that you're not. Alone. You don't have to go through the loan. There are people who want and who can help you. And who know how to help you see the butterfly has struggle in cocoon to break out if we were to help it by cutting the cocoon open it wouldn't develop the necessary muscles in his wings to fly. Its beauty comes from his struggles. And so do yours. Heartbreak. Like any other struggle is essential for your growth of you. I'm challenging my Facebook group participants to Throw something out today. I threw out a sack. Full of new clues actually throw them out. I'm sitting them into threat up. They give you a free bag and you can mail it in. And they'll take your clothes and put them online and sell them for you and give you a little cash. I mean how can you not love that? It's a great deal. I have new clothes that would have been sitting in my closet. I never wore and I wasn't going to wear so This is one of those ways that you can help. Energy to move in your in your life is by Paring DOWN SO. We were doing that today. In the group it was fun. I saw people putting posts up for everything from old mattress toppers at Gotten Kinda cruddy That was Mona. She was Putting her mattress topper in there and I thought that was absolutely awesome. One woman. Tina mentioned how she threw away a two jars had to pickles each and and she doesn't wasn't GonNa have those Itty biddies in there and that's what I call those. That kind of energy is just like that shampoo bottle that you almost ignore in the shower. It's just like a little like a tablespoon left I Shan't shampoo and it but you don't use it but you don't throw the ball out either. You know what I mean. This is a perfect activity for throw away or throw out Thursday. Instead of throwback Thursday we have throwdown Thursdays. Another one of the group members Helena. was showing some decorative items that she was throwing out of her beautiful home and someone is going to be really happy with those donations and see. That's the point. Isn't it with Something like daylight that where you just take things and pitch them Whether you donate them or just they go in the trash Whatever it is you. Recycle them it's a great way to clear energy of what you don't want in your life to open up energy for what you do so with that. Let's start talking about your front pathway of wealth. Now there's a lot of emphasis and thought an energy about the front door and functionally. It's a really important in the is a key area of your home in functionally the size. The direction the color and the condition of the door all influence the occupants of the House and were the business and how successful or unsuccessful they are. But what delivers you to that front door? It's your home sidewalk or garden path when that pathway is missing or afflicted so is the quality and type of energy from your home. So that's why you want your door to be auspicious looking. You want your pathway or your sidewalk up to your front door to be auspicious looking. The pathway is another way of looking at water because water brings opportunities and income to us in funkaway. This is the type of energy that flowing energy right. Because we want money to be flowing like water right and roads and pathways in front of our home are considered water pathways so when water is running smoothly and easily this promotes the wealth and the health of the home and it's occupants and this is what makes curb appeal such an important part of building your home's functions way and also the quality of life that you lead so the appearance of your front door and front walkway instantly set a tone for the kind of energy that you haven't house and the type and quality of opportunities and income you experience it's what makes the type of walkway you have coming from the front of the House. Such an important part of creating the kind of functions way that creates a kind of life. You enjoy the most so. Let's talk about the sidewalk and pathway points and ways to improve them and improve your home. She and your wealth the first when we WANNA talk about is called the poison Arrow path. Now this is one of the most common problems with your with front sidewalk. The sidewalk is usually at the street in Will Run straight to the front door. This type of sidewalk can cause rushing chee and is often described as a poison arrow. That's because it looks straight as an Arrow right. I know you've seen those houses that have you park on the curb and you can see the sidewalk. Goes straight to the door Now when it's looked at as a waterway this is the type of Pat. That's akin to a fire hose. In other words it delivered so much water as so quickly it can be destructive. And if you've ever done any kind of Water pressure Worked with the water pressure hose. And you're cleaning sidewalks. If you get anything on on painted it'll just take the paint right off rushing. Water can create rushing energy and a poison. Arrow path delivers that energy too quickly. And that can cause problems with the sector. It's associated with in addition to creating like hostility. That's aimed at the at you if this is your kind of house so you might find that you're under under fire. People are coming at you or something or there's problems That you have to face frequently. This is compounded further. If you can see from the front door out the back door this really can cause serious accidents. Serious health and financial difficulties even bankruptcy even broken bones and serious accidents Now this is actually something to happen. with my husband we were renting a house that had a sidewalk. That was straight and then you open the front door and it you can see straight out the house and this was a vacation rental in Hawaii and I bet it wasn't about twenty eight hours after we got in there. He was on the beach and ended up breaking his leg shattered his leg. As a matter of fact and this was in the sector of the East. The front door was in the east. Which is the sector of the foot and leg anyhow? He lost his footing on in a SAM pocket and he ended up shattering his leg. So it was a really. This is a very Drastic example but it is something that can happen so if If you have a south facing house and you've got one of those poison. Arrow pass This could create. I damage can create heart attacks. Things like that so You really really want to Take those That straight rushing energy kind of seriously. So let's talk about how you correct that right so we wanna do things to soften that sidewalk and like plantings You can create You can take out the Center. Section of the sidewalk at a circular area or make create circular beds. You could create a little sidewalk. That goes out on a circle like on a path and then put like an earn a pot of flowers or something in the center. You'll you can come up with some ideas that will look a attractive in that will will At your curb appeal. We don't want to put something in there. That looks goofy because then that would take away. Curb appeal but you can run planting beds alongside. Oh and maybe some stones or something but what I would do is try to break up that straight shot and by making some kind of Sidewalk that that is in the middle that interrupts that maybe the Abed Planting bed or something like that would be helpful that you have to go around. Maybe you have a water fountain there. Let's talk about the starving house. Now this is a house at starred for money and income now many times. This is something that we see with pathways or sidewalks In that or homes. That are older that they maybe have a partial sidewalk. They just go just from the curb but then they stop or there's absolutely no sidewalk or there's no path that goes to the front door and when there's no water way that home is starved or dying of thirst that pathways your waterway of income. So many times will find people that you see houses older houses that are like that and you see them just deteriorate if the house is really old this might have been fine years ago when the house was built but each year as the House ages. Anyone who lives in the house will see their finances diminish as well as health problems growing. Now how do you correct that? You've got to add a new front sidewalk and the more permanent. The sidewalk is like a poured concrete. The better it is type of walkway because it will help bring more water chee to the front door more quickly and that will mean that. Your House won't be starving anymore for energy that water flow. Remember we've got to create that now you can do some. I've seen a lot of houses recently. That are they're doing these Pathways where they have Like crushed stone or crushed granite and they have big Flagstone pavers and I will tell you that while that might look Nice architecturally it's not good functions way and the reason. Why is you want a a solid unbroken smooth path from the street or your driveway to your front door? This creates the smooth and flowing energy. So if you would imagine. The difference between a smooth will conduct water more than a broken sidewalk made of discrete. An independent pavers right. So if you're Put Water on this payers. They would just go off the sides and into the gravel or something like that so while those look really pretty in the very contemporary looking and all that good stuff. It's not good if you WANNA have more money and you want to add more income opportunities. Now let's talk about the afflicted House. Pathway now this house may have a walkway that is too small. It might be old. It can be cracked or crumbling or lifted from tree roots or something like that and that means that the quality of the Energy. That's going to the house and the opportunity and money is deteriorating to whenever a sidewalk is cracked or crumbling or broken or shifts it disrupts its ability to deliver water energy or CI to the front door cutting off income and opportunity and making the quality of opportunity and income decline over steadily over time. So we WANNA make sure that the walkway to our front door is in good condition. And that it delivers chee to our door smoothly and auspiciously. I think anyone listening to this would agree with me that when you walk up to a home and you walk on a really nice pathway to the front door there is a special feeling about that and when you see a home and you drive through neighborhood and you see homes with you know pretty winding pathways and pretty sidewalks plantings and flowers. It just is appealing and that brings that that beauty that it has beauty brings money. So when you have a beautiful home or a beautiful Sidewalk and beautiful curb. Appeal to your home even if you have a simple house if you have beautiful curb appeal and it's neat and tidy and And it's flowing and it's it looks pretty It's amazing what that can do for your life and for your home all right. Well we are here at the end of this episode as always here on my three tips always trying to make your walkways auspicious looking and attractive with plants and other landscaping elements tip number to do what you can to create smooth winding and curbing solid pathways. These delivered the most beneficial and they deliver chee the most regularly. Those broken has are not a good idea Another great tip number three is to add lighting two pathways. This encourages more Yang Energy to enter your home. It's more specials. Lighting is always auspicious. So if you want to add more Admiral Energy to your home especially if you have one of those houses where you have a sidewalk with a goes around to the side of the House and you have a side entry to your home. This is really key that you do plantings go along that sidewalk and that you add lighting that says hey ci come this way to the front door and that means hey money come this way. All right there you go. There are My suggestions for your your pathway to wealth Make sure that your your front door is a conduit for accepting money income and opportunity as well as great energy in Your Life.
