"The seven three takeover dominate. He can shoot has mobility. But i don't know. I don't know if he wants to be great. You can think you're great. I just don't know if he are you putting in the effort to be great and yes. You probably aren't afterthought to luka doncic. I was wondering this as i was watching the clippers. Beat the mavs and luca putting up these unbelievable numbers. I think atlanta's okay with trae young remember. They traded the rights to luca to the mavs and then with that draft pick. They took trae young now. Didn't look great for a while and we can say that lucas still far better player. The atlanta hawks got out of the first round and they took game one yesterday against the seventy sixers. Trae young joins lew alcindor. Who became kareem as the only players in nba history to score at least thirty points in each of the first four road playoff games in their career. He had thirty five and ten as they pick up game. One and that second round series with the seventy sixers. I don't overreact two game one and you shouldn't either jazz loss game onto the grizzlies. One that series four one nuggets lost game. One of the blazers won that series. Four two clippers lost game one to the mavs and one that series four three. I wouldn't overreact to this. But it should be acknowledged that atlanta beat philadelphia and was blowing out philadelphia. Philadelphia made interesting late. But i got to give credit to a very young atlanta team. Nate mcmillan their coach. They did a great job to be able to do that now. What do you do in game two. You got milwaukee bucks huge game. Two you lost. They didn't have james harden. You're not gonna shoot as poorly as you did. I gotta get. Chris middleton involved here you know. The greek freak admitted now. They were nervous. They were nervous in that game. I picked the bucks to win this series. I'll still stay with that. The nuggets and the suns game one is coming up. yes mclovin. so what you're saying. Is you the sixers are going to need six games and not five hundred minutes. Maybe maybe maybe. But here's the problem. Trae young so small. Get within feet of foul these tiny. You stop whining. Well first of all bill blasio the mayor of new york and whine about i wind it. He's impossible to officiate. Maybe the seventy sixers need to need to get some small guys so then they get every calls that what you're saying there well. I all stopped running six guys at him. He's just runs around them like their frankenstein. Danny green shouldn't be guarding him. Yep how about the defensive player of the year mclondon. I wanted to tell you i how. 'bout simmons i trade. Ben simmons for damian lillard friday. You wouldn't let me do it. I wouldn't do a fun portland..

"Boy. That's a hard to pick. I'm guessing he comes off the bench and has you're the thousand minutes. I think he will be the majority started. He'll play at least two thousand minutes for the switch-backs at centerback sebastian anderson bastion anderson. And i'm gonna take the the over this time and say that he's the starting right back for the team in place the majority of medicine and get some development time. I think what the schedule congestion mark. I don't know that the wide roles where you're going to have to do a lot of running especially at altitude. I think that's those are the positions where you're going to naturally see the most rotation i wanna i hope gets at least five hundred minutes. I don't know that he breaks more than twelve hundred. And i would say the same thing met humbly so there are all matt on the to. Yeah i'm with you on on unle- you know seeing him jump from a lot of time on the field last two years to subtly being a starter is unrealistic. But i i hope he's stop spot starts. I think with hunley The challenge with him is and this is like the kind of cliche that unfortunately. I hear soccer commentator Why i'm having a hard time with the word soccer soccer commentators today. i do. I having a problem it. It's the kind of thing soccer commentator overuse which is the final product. Just not there right like he. He's good in the build-up but when he gets into the final thirty often as a deer in headlights. Look he often also from a wide position will just shoot the ridiculously. Not smart shot Rather than look around see where the next available player is. He's got to get better at that or he's never gonna move forward as a player and he's always gonna be stuck at this phase of development last one mark villa. My i think my office starts. I think he gets the bulk of minutes. I think he either shows well and is it an impact player for the switch backs or does the opposite in the sense that he's too good for the switch backs on the rapids. Decide to bring him up to put him in which you know for his development is is not a bad thing. I see micheals development in a similar way to the way i saw shinyashiki which he's he's a really exciting player And you should vilo on my aca and hold onto that stock Because it'll be worth something not that we as Pundits and fans can actually invest. If you're going to get your nf. T go. Get your nfc at philip. Biogra- i think i think mark philip maiocco will be will be one of the top three most for the duration that he is with the switch backs this year he will be one of the top three most impactful players. I know opt doesn't do a whole lot of stuff with us championship mark. But if i look at at the end of the season if we do goals plus for the.

So he takes something but he has p Rather than make the help with some of these guys even today have too many distractions in life with social media that they don't focus on their crafts like we did and and so no regrets at all. But just wish I could play along. Well, if you were coming out of school today coming into the involve hundred million five hundred minutes, come on, man. That's what took me. So I mean I don't you know, I don't I see people like John has getting 200 something million and all these guys playing I mean, come on cool. Thought the NBA eleven players. I love the way to play. You know, there's a lot of bad teams out there. Obviously, it's still it's still the same as you got the Lakers got the Boston you got you got to have that robbery now could be Brooklyn. So you got some things on on that will be great and it'll be fine. But you just just a nature of the Beast of how it goes, but it's a good deal. I know they can be a Ralph Thursday. "He's very comfortable a little bit like nag in playing in a lot of different physical positions on the pitch in terms of back to goal Working you know east to west as opposed to north to south kind of pivoting turning scooping enrolling like. He does a lot of things so i think. That's i think the most exciting thing about mike. I think that the things that i'm not entirely sure of our how affective he'd be in a really tiki taka kind of passing situation though. I don't know that the rapids are gonna use them in that way. And i don't really know a whole lot about his kind of finishing and scoring when clemson did get a lot of scoring out of their midfield or when he did get goals they tended to be against Weaker opponents and this year this year the acc was kind of a hot mess. There were a lot of Clemson was not as good as they were last year But clemson was better than most teams in the acc and most teams in the acc were pretty mediocre. I mean virginia year after years. Very good this year. They had lost a lot of players. Were pretty below average and that kind of goes north. Carolina didn't have a very good year. South carolina didn't have a very good year so just a lot of a lot of really interesting cut Thanks i think overall i'm excited about whitewater Brings i think the hype might be a little ginned up today in the sense that like a lot of people are saying he's the best. All around player drafts pat noonan. His head coaches is the most mls ready player in the draft. I was still say you know. Myopic is probably most likely gonna play. She were than five hundred minutes and he may even be the kind of guy who you loan out for half a season to ussl. I wanna read out his college awards and recognitions mark and i just wanna add all five appointed. So he was. As i mentioned earlier he was the on the acc all tournament team for twenty twenty which clinton won. He was a preseason all american. He was a mac trophy semi finals as a freshman last year. Bearing in mind. The mac. Hermann trophy is the college soccer Heisman so being a semi finals for that pretty big deals a freshman second team all american last year first team all south region last year. I should say two thousand nineteen. He was Acc freshman of the year. He was the on the all. Acc earthy and the acc all freshman team and after is rookie freshman year. He was rated the number two freshman or the number two rising sophomore by top drawer. Soccer dot com of.

NWSL Nation - Challenge Cup Week 1 Review

"Soccer's back soccer's back like we've watched it. We've seen it's. Forty minutes worth of it. Those the they fly by five hundred minutes fly by really yeah, especially when they're broken down in segments good. I'm glad they took my advice on that because I know the original plan was every match one after the continuously? Yeah, the the ninety ninety minute was was controversial, but I'm glad they went with it. You know it's every now and again I have good ideas. Any any who Mike. We have lots to talk about as we record. This are six matches into the Challenge Cup tournament. Every team is have Janssen play. What's four teams have played twice us, or we're going to dig into. These gives quick reactions and have look forward to to the next up around imagine by kicking off the. Match on CBS. Half a million people tuned in to watch North Carolina Courage Portland Mozart. Most watched. Time incredible and it'd be so much of all time. It was a higher view than a few EPL matches. That happened that day. It was a all cases a pretty strong success of course Mike I know. If you had your druthers, things, soccer wise would have done. A little courage defeated Portland thorns two to one. This thing was scoreless. Seventy five minutes in for Denia scored off of Haley Mace Cross Italy trying to watch so much soccer in the last couple of days, trying to like the July's all the goals correctly of course, Charlotte equalizing in the eightieth minute Lynn Will Williams putting North Carolina ahead in. In stoppage, time I'm just going to cut right over to you. First Match Back Challenge Cup immediate reactions. This was incredible and I say this is the thorns fan heard about the loss, but this was a fantastic match. You know you've got a big rivalry between the courage and the thorns lot of history there, we didn't know what it would look like with. You know such a long hiatus structure to the preseason, but it didn't disappoint new look lot of new faces for the thorns, but I think they exceeded a lot of expectations, goalkeeper bill, bixby and her and wwl debut had some phenomenal saves against you know. Courage onslaught, tons set pieces good work in the midfield by Lindsay Horon Rocky Rodriguez. The courage didn't quite look like the courage that we're used to. It wasn't quite the smooth billed from the back fast pace attack that we've come to know one love that being said they found a way to to make it happen, and their crosses into the box were lethal, and that's got the job done for them. Yeah I think a theme because we're obviously talking about the courage again toward the end of this I, think team on sing with North Carolina. They're known for their depth. They're known for their cardio. They're known for their technical skill level. And obviously just having a deep deep deep roster, topics, players, and it just always seems to come down to the same two or three people. With things close out I mean you're talking about a phenomenal group of talented players. The end the day comes down to Denia and. Then Williams. It's interesting. It really isn't ensemble and I. I think I think they did great work, but but you're right. It came down to that, and you know Lynn Williams's well on her way to. Showing up SAM curve the for the Golden Boot of the tournament at least. Yeah I at this point I'm. Talking about we're talking three goals at two games, it's you know it's obviously phenomenal performance on her independence looking well. Haley Haley Mason Samuel Ev looks really strong on the distribution end I think that they look pretty locked in there I think I'm Portland's, and it's hard to say there weren't too many heavy. This isn't necessarily the case where I think you're looking t better, dead or a lot of ways i. feel like Portland made a handful of mistakes that led them to give up two late goals True and one thing you have to say for Portland to not only are they coming in with a largely new team They've gotten hit. Pretty hard by the injury bug. You know we had eighty franch this out of the tournament. number one draft Sophea Smith didn't play. We don't know when we're going to see her. So we saw a lot of new faces, and they still put up a good fight. No, absolutely I actually one thing. I really came to Portland After this match, they were one of the most. It was one of the most sound defensive performances we'd seen across all the matches. We watch so far like I said I just think this. This was a case where the courage were able to take their strengths finder blemish where they could fit something in They're just phenomenally talented. When it comes to responding to cross well laser accuracy with that, you know finding people and bill each something that the bread butter, too, and they were able to connect it right the right time toward the end of the match I. They knew that they're conditioning. Just with depth of their roster helped them a lot which makes their most recent match all the more interesting overall i. Definitely felt like a good showing on both ends in, and really was a tough break. This is definitely it really would have benefited Portland to get points here and yeah. Yeah stoppage it was e can't get more dramatic, so it was. It lived up. Tech speculations

"The most reliable streaming services during the pandemic meaning they have the fewest problems okay and so you know no matter what your states doing you're still home more than you normally are at number five and it's my favorite and Jason givens favorite YouTube TV yeah and yeah you guys are big advocates we are point thirteen problems per hour or one every four hundred six two minutes that means that my buffer or pause or you know yeah so that's that's really good Disney plus a number for how it is a plus point twelve problems per hour one every five hundred minutes okay that's better than I thought yeah they're better they look better you to deter all close they're all close a tie between Hulu and Amazon prime we have both our Hulu has been real crappy lately as the wifi connects the that that's the variable here if you have a huge download wifi speed and it's getting a signal and for the year back of the TV exactly right then they're taking that in consideration because if your wife I'm not exactly right because we have learned about this right yeah it might not work right yeah that's true and also if you have everyone streaming at the same time it could cause other problems like the network setting it back like a whole segment and you can't ask for the commercial with rewatch the same commercials again and it does it every time and if we're in one room and we posit we go the other route takes us back to where we were before we watched it the other room that's a maybe a decent images come check my wires might be based on your profile to that so it's a combination of probably a wifi issue and your profile because if you're using the same profile and then you go to a different room is supposed to keep you where you are something different yeah that's right we have to figure out how to make extra profiles and who loses definitely the same thing we're learning because we just got it yeah now Hulu Amazon prime tied for the second least amount of problems for streaming they have one problem every five hundred and forty five minutes I wish they broke down hours going trying to math and stew much almost ten hours that's right nine half hours I guess right yeah hello in its right at nine thank nine hours and then the number one most reliable streaming service Netflix I haven't had any issues with that during our meeting see I've and I used to have problems with Netflix I thought it was Netflix I didn't realize that the wife I was it was okay the Cape we I mean I am so proud of everything you learn to live like this to be just it's over my head this is it's weird the way it acts as weird the way can be moved in the same I actually took away more reach of wifi to get better wifi that's it yeah I don't know I have a yeah it's soonest I mean if I buffer if it buffers for second on my who do I call who do I call the number on the phone number ever than my you know he got a call in the so my brain okay enough of this crap out and able to work in the profession oh my god now you know why you're so angry all the time our internet guy here it's nothing but why does my god you guys are a little upset a lot yeah yeah a little upset a lot the main but Netflix one issue every eight hundred and fifty seven minutes okay fourteen hours thanks that's good that's good with that they're the most used a Netflix is by far the most users with at least my problems is impressive you know another thing that comes into play believe it or not let's say you have you're using you to TV or Netflix but you're getting it through a wife I stick the game is on stick are the Amazon stick as another variable that can create a problem racist Jimmy problems wait just just go back to regular K. now with you cut the cord to use have why would you cut if you got the wifi I'm ahead why finance analyst good antenna yeah just nothing the staff there's just staring at my family I really appreciate that yeah and stared pandemic no talking at all yeah I like I don't I don't have one here's who everything else I hear good things about Hulu though to that because the number one thing about Hulu I hear is they have the programming they have a few shows that are apparently very popular yet we don't know who live you can watch live TV and it it says live TV if you watch whatever's on live but if I forget to watch something it's always there on the you'll even after a court it like it's always on there yeah and they've got these movies about this program main it's really simple to use like my five year old can figure it out the only issue is the buffering but you can't fast forward commercials and then my husband yes she was like what can we pay more to get rid of the commercials I think and I think you can you can you can you can there's ad free one I don't have it but I don't know if we can afford that but I'll try it's funny we all cut the cord while I'm not here we all cut black people cut the cord you know from cable or whatever but then we have I just look I have four or five different streaming services yeah a private pay the same amount more we had satellite which we didn't mind but every time it storms we lock it would be like you know tuned in to hear that the news about the storm or something it would go out right when it started yeah I mean and that was really frustrating and it would say we have a snow day and the kids will be watching TV and it would go out and what you need to get on TV during snow days yeah exactly we just got frustrated it's probably I think we pay the same price now as we did for satellite with Netflix Disney Amazon and really well I did and I paid a boatload of her I mean I and I threatened to quit and then they would quit me yeah thank you be lower price work anymore like they used to and you know they're like all right yeah I work for me because people will look like I'm sorry to see you go well and that service tomorrow and I was like yeah hello I have nothing one time with even Time Warner yeah hi when that was out Carol I said just get rid of it they'll call us back literally ten seconds later the whole house went out back there we just sent it's gonna take several days to get about they have to send a technician to focus but I could do it from anywhere in the world yes okay so you know that all right take on Josie she's going in for Katie jeered in Katie's pop quiz and "He's an off the bench fill in <hes> you know swiss army knife utility infielder type player and that's that's what became of him. I hope that that doesn't happen. We've we've called basset but i think as possible. How many minutes do you think concern scotland with orlando in league play our powers yes stonehouse. I know he started a- at least one game. I know that he came off the bench in two or three game. I think he might have started to do some basic math and say he has two hundred eighty minutes. He has played five hundred and thirty appeared in six games in the place. I so i cannot speak to you in orlando made it all the way to the semifinals. Maybe got a bunch of starts in there that then made him not available or not available to start on moluccan played but that's more than five hundred minutes five hundred thirty minutes in league play in two thousand nineteen so six games in five and five hundred thirty minutes is basically started it. All five games in plate all started six games in played almost the whole time yup pretty much. That's great. I guess yeah i mean i. I'm about where you are at like. I would have said maybe three hundred or four hundred minutes. Maybe total all competition including the u._s. Open cups everything. Maybe that's the seven hundred at the absolute most but you know that's you know. Orlando orlando still a really bad team only playing six games. That's you know i kind of said this about him. When i got some black on twitter for saying you know this was a super king the ask you you know. Powered wasn't able to get on a bench that last season under master rainy on eighteen was competing for the wooden spoon. Yeah what you know. Something has orion. Some of the unit is not you if you are not able to get on the field for a team that is struggling for anything now. Maybe that was just heating rate for mastroeni throw any time but i mean he went there and then i can guessing christ that fired and then you know clearly you utility player from own coil but clearly are not only excuse me james o'connor and clearly j._c. doesn't see amazon outhouse start over the other options. The has on our land whose playoff hopes you're still hanging by orlando's us. Midfield is the most haptic unhappy group of players. I could ever imagine it's sasha <unk> who has burned burnout is welcome but he was transferred and has also issued some cryptic statements that have been <hes> implying that he's not happy in orlando. Now it's will johnson who has a domestic violence conviction and seeming they generally crazy person generally right roundly disliked by lots of people around the league for being really physical and making questionable decisions in game and then it's and then it's still empowers and i think there's at least least one or two other midfielders in their central midfielders but that's that's pretty wackadoo bunch in the middle so i don't know man. I don't know yeah all. I just gonna o'connor on the lots of work with they keep them on next year. "There's no disputing the fax loreal knows a lot about but there's one thing we know Florio's out today this is pro football talk live with guest host John stash our our ticket they boarded to NBC sports radio PFT on hiatus like l'oreal preserves and joins and well deserved time off on John today our rob's that Carrera along side here at NBC sports reporters Stamford Connecticut we'd love to talk football like Mike we've we've been looking for some stories there's really nothing going on NFL wives Bowie did stats of a home run derby last night good thing the balls are Jews because the balls were flying out of the stadium just Inver lander does not like what baseball is done with the baseballs and you can understand that he makes his living as a pitcher he's trying to get hitters out but there's no pictures last night I mean there's pitching but there's just there's pitchers who want the hitters to hit the ball far so fine bring out the Jews baseball's last night in Cleveland why not baseball could at least an honest last night yeah last night we had used baseball then we don't have the regular game we'll get to the Justin Verlander comments he's gonna be the starting pitcher tonight at the all star game so it's pretty interesting the things he had to say yesterday by stats last night on the you you're you've been a home run derby fan all long especially since they went to this new format last night I think was the most memorable home run derby of all time that you could argue that Josh Hamilton wanted Yankee Stadium the last year yeah because then I was actually at that all star game the next night which was a which was a good game also went extra innings what's interesting is that I think the most memorable home run derby performances ever were that night by Hamilton and Vladimir Guerrero junior last night and neither of them one but just from the start to the finish the number of home runs the excitement in their head to head battles including triple overtime in the semi finals between Vlad and Jack Peterson it was the the you're not going to forget this home run derby it was an absolute show you mention that Josh Hamilton performance in two thousand eight which was awesome well last night flat Guerrero hit more home runs than Josh Hamilton did in two straight rounds so I mean it was a performance like we've never seen before Vladimir Guerrero junior hit ninety one home runs and lost this is amazing some of the stats that may match at no one on the first round but he had the actually the longest average Justin's for engine thirty two feet flat hit one that was four hundred and eighty eight feet he had a seventeen that one at least four hundred and fifty feet and I'm not into the whole house exit velocity theremin all of I understand that here's the here's the best that a night add up all of the home runs it by all eight of the players and they traveled about twenty five miles okay that's that's ridiculous so look kudos to you because we picked our winners no I was I went judge bell and a lot of the one judge bell he actually went out in the first round I was torn between Peeta lines and Josh Pell mell Alonso ended up winning but you were out with Vlad and it was a you know he was the eighth seed when this thing when they stop first started the brackets that we ended up he was gonna go against what was going to be the top secret and yell as he pulled out replaced by Matt Chapman but here's lad who we know if you know anything about baseball and I see those fathers in the hall of fame and you know what a unbelievable you know prospect he has been a got called up this season I mean he's hit eight home runs in his major league career now he may end up with five hundred by the time he's done he's only twenty years old but he's only had eight in real games and in ninety one last night he went right off the bat in the first round he went for twenty nine and just what it was like one after the other after the other the exact same swing the ball pulled every time it looks like every ball was going in the exact same spot obviously some went further than others but just an amazing thing to watch you know you you made the comment Alonso will get to him the end up winning he was spraying the ball all over the place Guerrero he had ninety one on one the only year there any they want to left field yeah I think you pulled every single one and just to give that some context ninety one home runs tied the all time record for most home runs ever hit in in in a home run derby all time Todd Frazier had the record at ninety one black euro tied it and Todd Frazier participated in to in a career yes okay this is this was in one now John Peterson has broken that record by the way he's participated in two he's ninety nine that's the all time record now let me correct something I said yesterday when I said John Peterson had one of of what he lost in the finals in twenty fifteen in Cincinnati to Todd Frazier that was a memorable one because Fraser played for the rest of the time so anyway Vlad advanced Peterson at twenty five in the first round and beat Alex Bregman Alonso only a fourteen to thirteen win over the hometown favorite Carlos Santana as Alonso hit one with a second ago and Ronald Bunye junior was very impressive in that first round of setting Josh bell who I thought when when I think was the the favorite going man because of what he's done in the red which is especially the distance that he hits a home run so that we go to the semi finals and we got a flat against John Peterson and you know nothing against Peterson you know it's it's he's at his degree kinda had a good rookie season and then you know struggle out hit some years where you know he the Dodgers had kind of taken out of a lineup he's playing better now and that was the that match up that is going to be talked about for you is because the flag goes for twenty nine again Peter is in also gets twenty nine so they go to overtime sixty put sixty seconds on the clock Vlad hits eight Peter is that it's a I don't I don't know if they were making up the rules as they went along then they decide the lease get three swings they both at one moment then I'll get three swings again and Guerrero hit two out and Peterson had it stands on the last swaying and he came up some short on it and SO forty to thirty nine triple overtime the home run derby that was unforgettable it was amazing and and you mentioned Jack Peterson he tied Vlad to start that round of twenty nine he tied it with a buzzer beating home run on his final swing it was incredible and to all those people that say that baseball doesn't need a clock I just point me last night well I don't know if you get it if you're gonna put a clock in the actual game but it certainly works for the home run derby so then we went to Alonzo verses a Konya and you don't those guys have been sent in for like an hour it seemed and that turned out to be exciting because cool yeah hit nineteen and Alonzo is struggling only had seven midway through his round suddenly he's heats up and he's up to fifteen with thirty seconds to go and on his last Swinney it's a bomb four hundred fifty three feet so is one twice both at the buzzer and then he beats flat in the final twenty three to twenty two yeah Blatt hit thirty four more home runs in three rounds than Peter Alonso he's so hot two hundred and seven pitches and swung at a hundred ninety five of them yeah I mean that was the only time I ever saw I'm really take any pictures was when they got into that over time round where you're only getting three swing so you want to make sure your swing at the and a good pet so he took some pitches that but when it when the clock was running he never seen never took a patch and let me just say some of those pitches man I don't know who was throwing these guys these balls they were trying to paint the corners like that's thrown Group One will yeah I don't know about that he's really you think so well I mean there were tears somebody's pitches were terrible and blood was still eating them and not just how like halfway up the the rows of seats it was incredible like it was it was great it's great feeder it's great fun I think kids love home run derby is why wouldn't you have a kid watch something like that and it's great for baseball now you know then we'll go back to playing the games well we'll get to some of the problems in baseball and we'll get to the Justin Verlander comments about you know that baseball's the Jews baseball's but for one night anyway I mean I think I played a game tonight that as a book about anticlimactic yeah the way the game tonight the home run derby stole the show there's no question it has your past you know anything that we've seen from the slam dunk competition of the three point should I was there at this maybe the most memorable slam dunk competition was Michael Jordan at least he won the thing you know Larry Bird I remember in winning the three point shot does he want it walked off you know never took off his warm up jacket so Vlad doesn't win and Alonso wins you know they up the prize money to a million dollars the only makes half a million as a rookie nice job by him donated a lot of it to charity clean wounded warrior terrific charities got a lot of the family members who have served time in the military so just from start to finish a terrific night in Cleveland last night for baseball and can I point out because I I've seen Mets fans on Twitter last night all worried hello John Alonso's gonna mess up his swing for your ten games under five hundred minutes vans your season is done do not worry about Pierre Alonso in the second half of the season just enjoy something actually going right and nice for the Mets for a change right in there they have really only two things going right for them as a franchise one as Alonzo's a rookie's got thirty home runs the all star break the other thing is Jeff McNeil is gonna be in the game tonight is leading the majors are hidden with a three fifty six average now we've discussed how ludicrous it is that you know if you win the home run derby suddenly you're not gonna be able to hit a home run in the second half of the season although because of your the Mets it'll probably happen the lines of ready at six on runs of the second of the season but now I don't believe that at all there's look these guys try to hit home runs and batting practice every day they have fun with it you know it it it doesn't mean that he's not gonna be able to rest up your swing I think it was the it's the Bobby a break you from years ago yeah I want it and he did he had a bad second half of the season okay that can happen I don't think that was because of the whole when in the home run derby and just one thing does not lead to another doesn't make any sense and then look if you're the mats if you're a Mets fan enjoy this you had you know good news app something good about a mad because they have had a nightmare first half of the season of the start of the season strong for the second year in a row and you knew they weren't that good of a team but they're not they not only lose they lose in the X. screws fashion because they have the world's worst ever ball pencil in a week just couple weeks ago where every game that they lost a lost every game and they had a two run lead as late as the fifth inning in every game and they've got a new general manager who was an agent and a lot of accusations that he's looking he's trying to play like fantasy baseball and not really going about things the right way he made a big trade with your Seattle Mariners in the off season as that turn out too well for the Mets because you know he acquired two big players from Seattle one was Robinson Cano you knew he was getting older you still had to pay him for five years but you figured you'd have something left and looks like he doesn't and what he really was probably happy about getting from your mariners was Edmund D. as it was arguably the best relief pitcher the best closer in baseball last season yeah the R. A. under two is the IRA is there sex yeah it's not bad it's not good but you know what the Seattle Mariners are thirty nine you got your own problems that was a good trade yeah you got a good prospect is in the minors now write a pitcher and so that was a good trade not a good trade for the Mets and the love Mets fans of had a lot of heartbreak and over the years so that to to be upset that your god Alonso won the home run derby because you think it's going to screw up his way is really really ridiculous all right Justin Vernon is gonna start the mereka league in the game tonight had some very interesting things to say yesterday will discuss next just getting started Tuesday morning that's NBC's portrayed.

"So you can go at all of these modules into Azure automation. And now you can write this power shell script, and Azure automation. I have done several of them for diff. Activities, especially around office, three sixty five that maybe there isn't native functionality built into logic apps or flow for. So one of them is the signing lake unique list item permissions going into share point setting unique permissions on a list. I have done some around like a whole groups and teams provisioning process where it's not simply just going out and creating a group or a team in office three sixty five, but actually configuring settings dictating the URL setting a friendly name versus a visual name versus the Email Elliot's for that group or team. So all of those settings in power shell script in really fine tuning what those groups look like. So you write all of that as a script, and then in your as your automation account, you can create a run book and these run think of them as a single script where you can pass and parameters just like a normal power shell function. You might right where. Air. You wanna pass in, you're ELS, you wanna pass an ideas, you wanna pass in user names, anything you might wanna pass in. You set it as a parameter on this run book in Azure automation in then inflow were logic apps, you go search for an action in there to execute in. It is automation in run, a run bucked or start a run book. If you go in and select that run book you have to go through select the rate subscription resource group, all of that, you get to that run book level, select the run book all these parameters that you set net run buck will show up right within logic apps, or power apps so you can then pass in values from your logic app or your flow. If these are coming from share point list, if it's coming from a user Cup in Azure AD, you can pass any of these properties from your floor as you're right into this power show. Run book in run this power shell script to go assign licenses creek groups create teams. List item permissions, and share point anything you can do in power shell. You can call from this automation action in logic, apps, or flow to really build a very rich automation. And again, I've done a lot of these around provisioning I also tied this into one rose doing some stuff with policies and procedures in approving those and copying over values between share point lists, just a lot of options there to really automate that whole experience while staying in the cloud in that spinning up a single server. It's an interesting thing. So once you start to tie into a service like Azure automation, which you do need to have that pay dasher subscription. Right. So we're back to need to have this description, the but you don't necessarily have to pay for the service because the service, it self comes with a pretty decent amount of free compute every month, where kind of free execution. And I forget what it is five hundred minutes. So minutes of that power shell actually running so. Thank you, your power shell scripts that run for like thirty seconds or a minute and a half or two minutes. You can run a lot of those scripts in five hundred minutes a month. Yep. So one of the interesting things that I think happens, there is, you've got a bunch of different options. Maybe when it comes to integrating with your sherpa online tenant, or potentially even multiple tenants. So if you're a system, integrator, or maybe you're a CS p or a managed service provider that does work with a bunch of customers, and a bunch of tenancies now that you have this external service, all of a sudden you can do things like load credentials and automatically references credentials for all those tenants. Or you can even start to do some other really nifty, things like because you're sitting in Ayrshire, and now you have native capabilities with power shell maybe just to talk to the graph through something alike and registered. Application in Azure active directory, what if you created in enterprise happen, that enterprise app, was the thing that had the entitlements to go ahead and interact with SPO or exchange online or teams or whatever it happened to be along the way for whatever piece? Affliction -ality you wanted to light up, and then again and can't stress it enough to have access to that for free at least within that limitation of the number of minutes. Things like that, you can start to kind of put together these just really rich chained scenarios where now we're not saying just user automation, and maybe credential, management and enterprise applications, Asher, active directory. Maybe like you said, you have that flow that is executed based on something in a share point list like your site provisioning list right where it goes through its approvals. Does whatever it needs to do lazy approval, or serialized and goes out. And then it says, okay. Now, I'm going to call the run book and maybe the run book is the thing that creates the site. Or maybe I don't even call the run book in Azure automation, maybe. Just call something like in Ayrshire function. And go ahead and let that kickoff in, in its consumption model, with its bits and pieces. Because you can power shell over there as well. And have that all run up and ready to go. So these services that are necessarily gated to developers. They're really just gated to saying, like, hey, do I have a paid dasher subscription? But you really don't have to pay anything to use it. Right. You have to have a credit card there just in case you do go over, but as long as you're watching, it, make sure you don't over. There's some really powerful functionality. That's available to you just for free. Right. And that's what I've told clients. I'm like, okay guys, we need a right, those power shell. We need to go leverage this in some process, something that we're building within their environment. Like let's go spend up an Azure subscription it's gonna ask for credit card. We need to put something in, but I promise it won't ever charge you anything because there is absolutely no way you're ever going to hit five hundred minutes of power, shell or five hundred minutes of executing power shell in a month with the script and it, it was really interesting as people were asking questions. Yesterday to talk through it. Like you said, one question was around what can I do this against multiple tendencies in, because you're just doing the PM power shell lake? You said you can connect to any tendency, you want this as your subscription doesn't have to be in the same tendency that you're connecting to when you're doing the connect PNP service. I think it has online. Whatever one of those that connect us peel service, that can be any tenant any credentials. This is just that think of this is that power shell session in it's connecting to whatever you want it to, and then, even things like that site provisioning is a lot of companies don't necessarily want to give their entire service desk access to share point administration. They don't want them, mucking around with sherpa adamant as a whole, but they do want their service desk to be able to respond to tickets, that maybe come in through service now and it's, hey, I'm requesting new share point site, a new team whatever now you provide them a share point list where. The service desk can go in fill out the information after of course, they look through this list of all the sites groups teams that have been provisioned and make sure this isn't a duplicate make sure there wasn't some communication, but they can kind of manage this list. Look through it great. This is an okay request. I'm going to go fill out this information this share point list. And my sake goes out and gets provisioned without ever having to actually have access to any or have any admin rights within your office. Three sixty five environment because they're doing everything from this share point list. That's then triggering a flow as your automation where all of those Adleman credentials are created in set up a head of time in. It's using all of those to actually go execute, those actions and create those various entities within office three sixty five. Yeah. Which I love. Because now we can kind of build a little bit on. Maybe some of that governance, that we talked about with things like securing entities, Azure active directory. Last week. And this is how you start to build and really stitch these rich solutions together when all of a sudden, you have access to all of these in the cloud solutions, if you start thinking about being maybe cloud first versus bang your head against the wall. I it really opens up some interesting pathways in front of exactly. Up's,.

"Now, we're going to get into Rashida today. She says that critics of her comment about the holocaust are her words, and maybe I should speak like a fourth grader. So that racists. Don't twist my words, we talking about that as I mentioned Cory Booker pushing for the most dramatic Dakota's gun control law of any of the candidates so far and says prayers after gun violence is bull bleep doesn't want to hear your prayers. And once again, nobody asked him how often do Americans youth guns for defensive purposes. We'll be getting into that. Now. I'm watching CNN this morning. As you know, I watched it. So you don't have to. And there is a anchor named Jim Shudo. Jim shootout used to work for the Obama administration. He was in the State Department, and he's going on and on and on about all the areas in which the United States and Russia are at odds. And I said to myself, this is interesting. This is the same station. Same guy that was constantly talking about collusion. How Donald Trump is in the back pocket of Putin. How they cooperated how they coordinated yada plot cetera. Now, the modern report comes out all the air is out. And now all of a sudden we switched over to. Well, given all the things we have an cross purposes. How can why is President Trump even bothering to have a meeting with? Talk about a one eighty talk about let's book. So I've got over five hundred million followers on Twitter. And when I tweet something generally speaking, there's some sort of reaction, and I said, let me get this guy. So I sit there five five hundred thousand few me at five hundred minutes, I'm going to have five hundred million eventually with five hundred thousand right now little little feet. So I sent out a tweet. Here's what I said X Obamas' State Department member slash news. And put news in quotes for the snark, news hosts CNN's, Jim Shudo, go from panting about real Donald Trump's failure to criticize Putin and Trump's alleged Russian collusion to panting about why Trump is even bothering to meet with Putin, given their lack of common ground. Now. This guy is on the air is his live and with literally within two minutes. He response. Have you read the book, I guess he wrote a book have you read the book, apparently not have you read where I criticized the Obama administration and others for felony. See stand up to the threat from Russia, apparently, not read the book, and we can have a conversation. So I wrote back Jim comma, can you honestly say you CNN have been fared and this administration. Don't you think as a matter of journalistic integrity of graphic should regularly appear disclosing that you were a member of the Obama administration. Have you read any of my books, and I put my in real big letters and to my knowledge, he's not yet responded. I wonder if we could just start big picture here because you have secretary of state might come pale saying just moments ago that the president wants to find common ground with Russia. I was just sort of writing down a list on a back of the envelope. Here of all the issues in Russia at odds with..

Exactly fourteen thirty left to go in the third three when lightning boy, I'll tell you what? Bob Morowski made a great save. And then Vassilis Alaska to same thing. I don't think Bob Morowski saw got shot by the lightning that I don't think that that's Alexi suffered another shot. But the goaltenders are in the right decision. Made the save face job to the right of lane on stamp goes. One by stamkos Rudo left circle. Shoots blocked by Felino, grabs the puck Felina walks to center, ice Johnson, ties them up and pull out will steal on right on a counter. Cross. See I'd rather see that with a lot trying to make a shot at the net. Try to make it quick pass to stamkos who was cutting through the middle because there was a guy on staff, coach and smart, plenty just shoot it. "But one thing is really their own the role players they decided to sign, and you, and I talked about it a lot in the summertime when they said we don't need shooters around the Brown, we need playmakers. No, that's not the answer. There's a reason why everyone around him when shooters because that's when you operates at his most comfort level. And the other thing is the guys that they got they brought in could they have done better on a budget. Maybe maybe not, but they got questionable character guys. And I think that anytime you talk about chemistry issues in the locker room. That's got to come up. Well, my blame goes to them because I thought they could've acquired Paul George and the trae less as as they thought it was going to be able to land him in in off season as a free agent. It didn't happen imagining LeBron James and Paul George playing on that. Wrote. The next slice is a big slice that goes to three different parties. Right. This is called AD trade rumors. So LeBron gets a little slice of this big site because he did nothing to dispel it. Not for us not for anyone out there. But internally for his young teammates. We're going through this kind of conjecture rumors for the first time. He did nothing to make him feel like this is a guy who's got my back, and I think LeBron could have done more internally with this guy's to not paying those planes. What else those young guys stop being babies? We get it your feelings. You had time to you know, solve them up about it. But ultimately trace back me up on this. You don't play because you're playing the wrong for magic or genie. Plus you play because you're making your reputation day. No plan lights out right now. Both. Both. On the show yesterday. Their best defenders not when they play when when laws plays what no the net rating of the players the players who play more than five hundred minutes regulars on this team, the guys who are the young guys or plus. I'm talking about the absol- veteran guys Ron is plus about. About time since the trade rumors bubble. I'm not talking a whole season. Sure. But if you look at the stretch since the train almost bubble up until now, they have a performance, I'm Tracy. I think that's why. Give me no that there's life. Lakers organization. We're not managing all that properly. And what I mean by that is we saw Chris Porzingis get traded. We heard he was available for three hours in any got traded. We saw the vice Harris get traded. We ain't hear that. He was available. They did everything. So publicly leaking every they're gonna talk to me this afternoon. That's not how you do business in this league. Not not not appropriately. I don't think. And I think they deserve some credit as an organization as a whole for not keeping the lid on that. All right last lice every everyone else in the world. "I think would take a longer period of time because now players again, you have to flip the switch for whatever your relationship was with them. You know, and now say, well, let's see what Frank the boy brings to the table now players from my experience, you're more than open for new manager to comb in. But the moment that something goes in that direction that doesn't point to the sort of success that you had with the last guy then you start saying, well, that's not the way we did it last year. And that's one of the. Ship. Is it a gamble in you in your view because look at his record? Yes. He was great at I x eighty five days losted into less than that. Great. Can I read the title of the extra time where olive I found out about the Deboer rumors? It was all handle Moreno is not a fan of Atlanta United's rumored next manager. He said, it was odd doesn't match and he say I would stay away from that. Those were your words and having backed away. No, no. And I continue to say. It may work out and the talent. And this team would suggest that it will work out because you have a group of players that at their very best. Their ceiling is much higher than everybody else's in Malysz. But again transitions are not he's starting a new relationship. It's not easy. You just recently marry right? Yes. It's not easy. Nothing's easy. With me. I know that I'm not talking about her. I'm talking about you know, his. There was a formula that was work yet Martinez walked away. You may think that naturally there was there were other choices that might have been a little bit more suited to what you have in front of you with this group of players decided to go on the Frank divorce direction. And if it's excessive will be the first one to say, you know, what I was wrong. But the talent of this team should be successful, regardless of whether friend of or is there or not you mentioned divorce resume, and I get that. They're like some concerns there. I think if you look at the time I actually takes over team that wasn't winning got them winning a title, and then kept them winning and then the rest of his resume. I kind of take with a grain of salt yet because at Crystal Palace. He's clear trying to play possession with a team that you know, what middle to bottom of the table. We know that generally is not going to work in the Premier Li he I think you can measure his tenure Palsson in minutes is less than five hundred minutes or so so I take that with grant assault, and then it's. Time at Inter Milan. He takes over at the end of an ownership change. And specifically molest fans the ownership group in charge of Inter Milan. When he took over is the same group that took over DC United two thousand twelve. I'll just say this that that business group has a very clear way of doing business. It's to strip things down. And I think that's probably the situation that Inter Milan was when divorce in inherits it. So to me, I'm not so concerned about maybe like the resume, but all this point. You can maybe talk more about the tactical differences between Totta, and the I don't know that I'm super qualified on that. But the relationships are clear like you mentioned the big but Barco, go out L GP Joseph. Maybe just it's not a guy, but Tatas clear the one that sold Joseph Kennedy Viagra who you mentioned these are guys who are there specifically because of Todd me don't in his players Tribune..

"When tax time comes around, you know, another key action, you can take if you've got maybe a raise this year or maybe you've paid off. Let's say you got smart paid off your car paid off some debt. So let's let's like a rice to yourself. So you would want to consider increasing your 4._0._1._K contributions are any other retirement plan contribution that you can make. And if he's maxed it out. Then contribute to an IRA. And do it sooner than later. And the reason why you don't wanna white diamond you were saying why wait till October November December you wanna do it now because the reason and people have asked me this is it better to do like dollar cost averaging Victoria will if you that's all you can do then do it. But if you can go in at the beginning of the year and do two things, and that is make sure that we have no Christmas hangovers leftover and the debt that's all taken care of. But the first thing you can do is make an extra payment to your house and make sure that you contribute every kind of maximum dollar. You can get in. Because now you've got all year for those dollars to grow. You know, you wanna make sure that you you're getting the most out of every single dollar because just like you were saying if it's twenty five hundred dollars. Okay. Well, that is a lot of money. But then hey, it turns into thirty two thousand dollars. You know, there was a really interesting quotas. We've been doing strategy reviews for clients over the past couple of weeks. I saw this really cool quote from somebody, and it was from Dr David Kelly with J P Morgan, and we spend a lot of his calls, and he says clients need to pay attention less to timing the market and spending time in the market. Exactly. And that's the thing is more time. You're in the market the more opportunity you had to grow in Dame. That's a very good point. Because you did this great illustration, and I stole it from you. You did this illustration you took. Well, I'm speaking at the OSU women's March six is when that is you haven't signed up for that yet. Please do is going to be a lot of fun. It's going to be a lot of unexpected surprises that day. However, you know, when you you have this time in the. Market. So you did this illustration that people love to show tax deferral, and they're supposed to be showing you how your money will grow. If you know, it's tax deferred. And will you show this time in the market, and you give three examples that when if you start when you're you're twenty and you're thirty and you're forty you know, how much more money you have to have like five hundred you have to say five hundred dollars a month. You could save one hundred dollars a month and be a millionaire. If you start in your twenties, but at at thirty and forty you're looking at five hundred dollars a month. You're not you don't even have half the money that a person that starts contributing considerably more than they are. Yes, I think your example was one hundred and five hundred minutes, you come to you to see what I sell from diamond to see the leadership conference. It all my best materialize stole from you in the first place, so whatever. Okay. Well, listen, I agree the best illustrations, and we take out that tax deferral because nobody really gets it. But when you show it in real dollars in ages people it, and like she said Lynn was going through because I wanted her. Fresh is this presentation hadn't seen it. So is all of this valuables or anything, I can delete out of here. And does it make you know, the points that we're trying to make to help people? Yeah. So it's going to be a lot of fun. So done that. I think you should well our website chapel dot com. Go to chapel dot com click on events and you'll see all of our upcoming events. It'd be so much fun there. Maybe even some free stuff giving away. You just never know you go we're talking about taxes today. And how do you manage that? Limit those and part of managing your taxes in retirement is managing how your income flows to you. I you have to generate the income, and you need to know how much you need and how long needs to last. But then you need to make sure that the income was flowing to you in the most tax efficient manner possible and only way to do that is with an income plan. That's why if you're within ten years of retirement, or you're retired already chapel would financial can help you. Restore order and control to your life by offering you the opportunity to get a customized. Income. We had our strategy meetings this past week, and I I just want to say a real quick little shoutout to Russell and Sarah who always love to bring us little treats. And I even brought some we still have chocolates in this office. I've never had so much chocolate. I think in my life, but look how pretty this is I have to admit the they brought me this piece of chocolate that was in the shape of a pickup, truck and said you pick me up. Take a picture of the Monaro high eight it aided Damon. I didn't take it home. I'm not sharing that with my children my wife. I'm sorry picture of that. Took a mental picture. Okay. But then I devoured it before. I ever because I never saw it. But the point is we had some strategy meetings. And we wanna thank our fabulous. We always say we and we do have the best clients on planet earth. But we limit our clients. So the reason we do this show, and I like to share this is that we want to be able to help everyone, but not everyone can be a client. We into twenty nineteen have. No that we decided we have the capacity to take on only two new families per month. And we've been doing that. So if you have five hundred thousand of investable assets gives Shelly a column we'll look to see and we'll have a meeting to decide if the right adviser for you. So give her a call at four zero five three four eight zero nine zero nine that's four zero five three four eight zero nine zero nine if you have five hundred thousand of investable assets. Currently call us in the next fifteen minutes, get that second opinion find out if you can be one of those only. Hundred and fifty when we were talking to our clients down in Texas. We had a conference call with them and their family, and we talked about in. It was a shock. You could tell to the to the sibling the children grow children, of course. But these these children that in a we only take one hundred and fifty clients. That's it. I said that's exactly right because we know that we have the capacity to take on a hundred and fifty but it's very unfair. And no one advisor will have any more than one hundred fifty clients, and I really prefer like one hundred because that way you get the premier service that you actually deserve. You can give Shelly Mata call our director client services, she's going to share with you our unique proprietary processes, and she'll get you righted. But when we get back, we're going to take a quick break, you're going to eventually face this tax deadline of blowing. It means facing the harshest penalty the entire tax code. We're gonna reveal what that is. And how to avoid it when it's all about money on returns..

"That's all though, we love, and I am so happy about the fact that Josie Aldo is not going to be defined by that thirteen second loss to Connor McGregor. He lost fair and square and Connor should wear that feather in his cap all day long. But I was afraid that if he never rebounded from that. He would forever be defined by that loss. He would be the guy who lost to Connor and thirteen seconds and everything that he did up until that point. And even a little bit afterwards would always be overshadowed by that loss. Now, it feels like there's enough separation that has last two fights in particular. I've just been so great so dominant Jeremy Stevens and then this past weekend against boycott. It feels like we are now fully over that loss in the sense that it won't be line number one because it shouldn't be line number one. You should never be defined by one night. I don't care how dramatic or how how bad of a loss of was should never be defined by. One night. And I'm happy that it feels like finally he is not going to be defined by that one night. And that he is able to move on that he's able to be happy. Enjoy his career and really start to go on this final run. Whether it's for a belt, whether it's for, you know, one fifty I don't care just have big fights habit performances be celebrated by people good for us, a Aldo very happy to see him back in the winter circle. Okay. Let's move along last week. We had Holly home on the program. And then it seemed like always good with UFC thirty thirty-five. She's going to find on the same card as her teammates. John Jones and Diego Sanchez, and she was excited to be back. And she was excited to fight Aspen Ladd. And then all of a sudden at the press conference on Thursday, Dana white casually says that the fight is off with not a lot of information added to that statement. Let's talk to Aspen lad, now and see what's going on with her. She joins us via the magic of Skype there. She is Aspen. How are you? Pretty good considering. Well, okay. So it's a few days later it happened on Thursday. It's now Monday, how do you feel about this this change of plans? The pointed. But I'm getting over it at this point not over and avoid that doesn't matter not that I can do about it. So and trying to move on. Have you been told by the U of C or has your management told by the USC why they made this witch? I had absolutely no idea. I mean, obviously, the news out. Now the Amanda on the variety, then I could assume that's why. But I had no idea a management had no idea. I don't know probably had an idea. It was something. I was training. Got out the cage that five hundred minutes calls by found at the same way. Everybody else conference. From the media, you found out from other people texting you give you a heads up before. Now, and no idea until that moment and did your management talk to the U of C afterwards. And try to get an official reason from them as to why they did this. But that's not really moving talk about right now. Okay for and it seems like they are trying to do this Holly home versus ending set-aside. Although I'm told it's far from official, and it may not even happen. But if that is the direction they take Hollywood from you to put on a title fight. Are you know that you're not getting that? Like why why pick Holly not you you've never fought for a belt before? Now that doesn't an at all this after my last night. I'm young in the sport. I don't I'm not chasing about right now. I never out I've roll Neo. See I've only had a couple of women find everybody the more the better. So I'm in a different position in my career in my life than she is. I don't know what Holly wants to do. Maybe she just wants more five she went to the belt and get out. Who knows I got so much time on my hand. Like, all right. We'll fight over they offer up. So why not keep you on the card against someone else? Is that an option? It doesn't here to be right now. Watch netflix. You want to remain on that card? Kind of like the Laskar on the McGregor card..

"And you're saying three hundred so that's thirteen thousand five hundred minutes. Wouldn't it be amazing teen thousands? If my if if who's Michael if Peter Jackson, Michael though, I don't know Michael come. I was thinking Michael Jackson if Peter Jackson. In two hundred twenty five hours of supernatural rice on much or show or in nine point eight nine our nine in the third days of supernatural in one hour. He would have to squeeze two hundred and twenty five minutes into each minute. When hour long episode to get you caught up this fun. I think that if I I think that can you even imagine he did the whole war. I guess in one flick, but hobbit a three hundred page long book did take three flicks. That's kind of in the face to people who did World War One. So if they could come back and watch one of the three hobbit movies, where it's like, here's a thirty minute section on the kind of grass that hobbits eat or whatever. And they're like, wow, that's cool. My whole thing got blown up. But I guess that one got cut for time. Pete cut my whole place getting blown up for time. I guess I think that there is. I think this what is just coming out for one day at a limited release situation and a vet release. If you will what a hot watch, we're doing. This is a hot watch February one. I think is the what is the time. And you could see this one. Out. Coleman. Go see this flick. Let us know. Well, I mean, let rotten tomatoes. No, she's thinking. We'll definitely see it that way.
