All right, well, let's talk about why Bitcoin pumped. It seemed like it was just a perfect cascading of all these little events, and we're going to break it down with some articles, of course. Then we got the BitLab specialist, Kelly on the charts. He's going to show you some key levels, but I kind of want to just share this tweet right here. This is kind of the catalyst here. The beginning domino effect here. The iShares Bitcoin trust has been listed on the depository trust and clearing corporation. This was kind of, all right, you read that sentence. Can it sound more boring? But then slowly the news started percolating. It's not as clean and simple as Tesla buys $1 .5 billion worth of Bitcoin. That's a simple, easy to understand headline. This was kind of, you got to read between the lines. Wait a minute. This name changed. Oh, so it's approved. Well, no, it's not approved. Oh, okay. I guess I shouldn't care. Well, no, you should care a little bit. Then the market started getting a little bit excited, and then Asia woke up. The Asia trading hours, once they hit. My theory is, and we're going to look at some numbers, kind of back this theory up. Shorts got squeezed, folks. There's a massive amount of short liquidations, and when there's a short that's closed, it actually ends up as a buy order for Bitcoin and just send it skyrocketing. What do you think of that take? I think it's pretty spot on. I think at the same time, we have all this hype coming back into the markets, and retailers kind of getting that FOMO edge. You're getting the good morning text, the bull run back, all the friends I haven't heard of from in about a year. But Larry Fink coming out and completely flipping the script, saying Bitcoin is a flight to quality last week. This all led into kind of this FOMO rally that we were going to be watching and breaking down all the on -chain metrics with you guys today. So I'm excited for it. It's some life back in the market, which I feel like we've all needed for the last three years at this point. But it feels good. It feels good to be back in the markets and see some green. Bitcoin at 34 ,000 by the way, two Ethereum's 10 pump 8 .2 % XRP pump also 8 .2 % and then also pretty close Cardano at 8 .8 % Solana, a little bit of a cool down here, but when you look at the weekly, it is up 32 % here. Once we started going a little bit lower doge is a little bit less Tron's a little bit less polygon, a wrap Bitcoin also moving with Bitcoin, but now we're about to get to the exciting part. Talking about Mina protocol. This is a coin I first was talking about in February of this year. And I was telling you folks, Hey, you know, I remember the thesis and TJ, wasn't the best thesis, Josh, you know, I don't recommend people buying. We met an actual Bitcoin billionaire. And he said, Oh yeah. You know, we asked him, well, what's the one coin you're looking for? He's like, Oh yeah, just Mina, zero research. I was just me following the whale. Hey, you saw me in the water last night. I followed the whales folks. And if you bought, then you were in the green. It's looking good. And then if you were like TJ and bought the dip, I think TJ, you got in at Mina as low as what, 40 cents, 40 cents. Yeah. 40 cents. We're now coming in at 80 cents. So Mina look at this pump, baby. 91%. It was a hundred percent. At one point, it was 120%. I was looking at the volume. Mina's volume is up 18 ,000%. 18 ,000 % there, Josh. It got added to, if you're wondering why pump obviously the Bitcoin pump, but then it got added to up bit and bit true. So I think that that's a large reason. Then we have conflux. Conflux is up 40%. Pepe. We were talking about Pepe on the stream last night. Pepe is up 27%. Josh, what do you think of Pepe moving up? Oh, nearly. It was 30 % at one point. Yeah. So if you actually look at the entire meme category, but Pepe is going to be the leader in that space right now, all of the alt coins and meme coins, traditionally, when you get a big pump and Ethereum, you're going to see the gas fees go through the roof. So if you actually look on CoinMarketCap, I don't think my screen's on the screen here, but if you look at the top of the page on CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko, you will see the gas fees rising massively. They actually hit 45 way last night. So when that happens, it starts costing a lot of retail, a couple of hundred dollars per transaction. And a lot of those tokens are going to move pretty exponentially. So Pepe's leading the industry today here. Hit 46 % rally this week. Does that mean we're going to see all -time highs? I don't necessarily believe so. But hey, the meme coin market sees some life to it. And because of the high transaction costs, generally, you start to see meme coins see a little spark back in their life. Yeah. Basically, it's all momentum -based. When you're talking about meme coins, it's a lot of momentum -based. That's why it's so hard to turn around that downward sloping action because it's a lot of momentum to turn that car around. Well, we have Injective is up 17%. Rocket Pool is up 15%. Flow, the Flow blockchain is up 14%. And then Rollbit still has some good gains here. It is up 13%. "Me. My wedding anniversary said brought my wedding album and they show up but she's oh. Where are we going. And i was like. Oh crap so i. That was how how she saw me as the fun person that took her out and we had a good afternoon that day. Despite the fact that we didn't go watch kids but it did get a little bit harder at the end. His she was just she didn't want help and she needed it in taking her out. I would take her out in within the community. We'd walk around the whole complex. We'd go over to the assisted living side. We go the assisted livings garden and patio area. Just a little change of scenery mean. It wasn't changed for me but she hadn't seen it before so it worked. What is next. You've done twenty episodes of your podcast. Well i'm taking a break. 'cause i'm really Decided i wanted to go back to the book. The book idea so just yesterday was the first day because i put out three weeks ago. I put out episode twenty. And i decided that's the end of season one and that i you know i do wanna do a season to. I'd love to do interviews like like you do. I'd love to interview like my dad. And my my husband. And my sisters. And i would love to continue you know rotate with interviews with telling stories about the year after and the he elaine and you know how i adjusted to life without my mom and how those lessons that i learned are still with me and how. I'm learning how to take care of myself. But they were talking before we started today about self care and self compassion and one of the things i wanted to you know i just really feel like i want to put this in a book. Form his earth stories. That i didn't include on on the journey and i'd like to go back to it. I'm re editing ed and putting together and we'll put together a book proposal and try choose Pitch it and see if i can get a literary agent and a publisher. The publisher that i had arranged for my first book would not be right for this. So i would need to start from scratch and then if i can get some interest that great if not left to self publish it or do any book. There's a lot of people who don't listen to podcast as you know you know especially older people like my dad. We're going to fix that. I mean we literally had to tell them. This is what you do. So i really think that i'd like to get it out in a boat for him. To said life in the a zone is a book. Or maybe i'll change the title of the this one originally. I was going to call it. Don't forget how don't forget how or because that was the last words of wisdom. My mom said today after that hospital visit when descent pissed off at me. And i was. I went back like a week later and we just did not end while that day in the hospital when i yelled out for pulling out her. Iv and booth and she looked like a little girl who had been scolded in. I was a mass. And i felt awful screaming for the nurse screaming. Mom what did you do. It was just. I was not one of my better days so the next week i went to memory care unit as to see her and as i was leaving to sit in the chair and she said she just looked at me and said. Don't forget how good you are. And i was like it was like it was coming from somewhere else. Like my mom's never told me that before and walks out on. Wow i so needed to hear that that day because i was beat myself up about how had acted at the hospital the week before and to hear her. Tell me that it was like my mom was barely talking at that point. Something so profound came out of you know. Don't forget how good your and i thought that would be a really great title to the book. But now i have this brand of life. In the as i went the podcast will probably be life in the is the assad title. I like i like the life in the as zone. That's really cool. There's an author that i interviewed last year. Jack cohen he wrote a book called life on planet. All's which is a you know. So when i hear title it reminds me of his and i think those are kinda catchy and they kept your interest but i i love that story and it reminds me the saturday before the shutdown for the kovin. I was with my mom. And i brought you know because the one thing with the memory care. I always knew that all of us were a team. I never expected the care staff to do stuff for me or in the or do do things for mom that i could handle. You know if i was there in we were a team to take care of mom. The one gal that was in charge of showers and she got the brunt of moms combativeness she said. Oh your mama. She's gonna need like house coats which was like Now my mom doesn't wear the side brought you know really nice soft fuzzy knight slippers that she never wore and like a a bed jacket because they asked the actually asked me to be by her dresses. Because they'd be easier to put on and off in the wheelchair. Really glad. I didn't do that considering mom didn't last much longer after that. The one caregiver got my mom to like kind of laughing and smiling. My mom was asleep more than a week at this point and the last coherent words that i heard from my mom where you know time just flies and i watched that video of her that i did. You know the day after she died and i was like pan. She must have known something was coming. Because it was just wild. It's a really. I find the brain so fascinating and by wasn't an artist and creative person. I might go into brain research. But i don't think i.

Sinoe some of the even older seniors wanna say had been to afghanistan in the earlier years and then a lotta of them had been through You know iraq some eating palooza the push volusia the original invasion And so he had just a ton of experience Weighted heavily on that experience for those guys that have you know gone before. You've been there done that to help initially train the guys that you're you're with now We we prepared strategically for both theaters. to operate in a capacity that was going to be most beneficial for us but as soon as we found out that we were going to afghanistan. Of course things changed a little bit We started doing our research We we learned it. You know the the terrain and the individuals and the culture there was of course. There were similarities between iraq and afghanistan. But it was culturally differ so we we started learning pashtoon instead of A lot of the languages spoken in iraq in that end there are ninety eight different dialects of pasture in polish ship in afghanistan and so ninety eight. Yeah it's ridiculous let alone that it's in top ten hardest languages to learn in all the world so that was a definite They've started shipping us to language classes and stuff like that. Yeah even nikolai in esa. Why they they were training guys for language. No this is Afterwards when you guys you guys were already in a already in hawaii right. Yeah we already in our you know teams now. Yes for preparing for that. Though a what was what was that build up like. Because this is this has been going on for years now right and knowing that you were going to have ghanistan knowing that you were going to hit some you know. Knowing that marines and coalition forces had already been there are to have a at eta a presence there for quite some time What was the build of like knowing that you were going to go somewhere in afghanistan. Us weren't sure where What happened you. Prepare yourself mentally for that. After learning about you know the general region because we didn't we still didn't know where to precisely was that we were gonna end up so you kind of just kind of you blake. Train is what they call it. a blanket. Prepare for a lot of different avenues of approach that you could possibly end up in and once we were in country We found out that we were going to club across time which a little bit later on. I'll explain how the taliban actually took that back over after. We laughed Along that road to get into Our fob was The deadliest road in the world and harvard. Yeah route five. One five is dead this road in other world just because of the king the id threat. They're the majority of that. Route itself was comprised of what they called moon dust in. Where you'd have convoys that were approaching your job or a patrol base. What have you you know that new vehicle deal disabled. Almost you know. I'd say statistically speaking one out of every maybe three four patrols somebody would hit ninety vehicle in depending on size you know it would we. Didn't we didn't have the the right vehicle for that theater at the time. I don't believe we did Because we we still had a lotta humvees and home. These were not. They didn't carry the upper armor that you really needed for the types of route. And i think that the military was trying to get those to us But we didn't we were that transitions unit. That was trying to obtain these vehicles in order to do these mountain patrols that we were doing especially along this route that The they may be quite in time. So i'm curious 'cause we talk about this route a lot Why did why is there. Never been like a a decision made to switch it like i. If this if this route is the route that like is is so dangerous like dangerous road in you know. Your people are going to die here. People have died here. Why why would the military continue. I mean is it. Is it just like the most easiest most accessible road or is there any other reason for to take it. Does that make sense of kind of what i'm asking.
