"Hey It's Jefferson Graham Ula Santa Talking Tech I wanted to fill you in Google introduced a whole bunch of new products today. It's a little confusing what they did because they have two new phones. The cheaper one is the one with the better features the more expensive one not as great. You tell me what just happened the four hundred and ninety nine dollar Pixel for a which is the updated version of the phone that they put out in the summertime. It now connects to the five G. faster wireless networks. And again, five dollars versus seven hundred dollars for the more expensive version. Before has a larger six point two inch screen to the six inch screen on the five. It has a headphone Jack which the five does not have but the five does have a slightly more powerful battery but you tell me five hundred dollars or seven hundred dollars. Meanwhile, I would just get regular pixel for a which cells with three hundred. Fifty dollars five Jesus at least two years away before you're going to see it being really that much faster. Maybe a year I don't know. But what's out there right now is just barely faster than what we're seeing on our other phones. Now, the other big news chrome cast remember chrome cast came out a few years ago. It was a technology that let you plug this device into the back of your TV. And then cast. Media. From your phone or tablet on the TV. Pretty cool. Now, the new version comes with a remote control comes with Google assistant n a menu screen that Google is putting on your TV sets. That is called TV and it will help you navigate it. Find better stuff to watch via Google search will see can't wait to try it out finally remembered the Google home speaker, which was Google's answer to the Amazon Echo. Then they renamed nest this year there is the nest audio hundred dollar higher fidelity speaker competes with Amazon's Echo studio though the echo studios two, hundred dollars this one hundred I just got mine in the mail. As schools reopen, new study shows increase of COVID-19 in children

"New Research shows the number of cove nineteen cases among children has been rising the American. Academy of Pediatrics and children's Hospital. Association put out a new study this week showing a sharp increase in childhood cases from the spring specifically said back in April kids accounted for about two point, two percent of all reported cases in the US. But as of last week, the figure is now up to ten percent researchers agree that a child's age seems to factor into how. Likely, they are to test positive for covid nineteen. The city says older children ages twelve to seventeen are twice as likely to test positive. Then younger children ages five to eleven. The good news is it's still very rare for children of any age to die from the virus as far as where or how kids are getting sick. This particular report did not specify, but health experts have told the AP, the uptick probably falls in line with the overall community spreads.

How Should My Fianc and I Split Wedding Expenses?

"Corey is with us in. MILWAUKEE. Hi Corey. How are you? I'm wellman. Thanks for taking my call. Sure. What's up? Hey. So I just got a little a little situation for here. I got engaged a couple of weeks ago. Congratulate we have not set of data. Thank you very much. So we have not set a date yet, but we've been sitting down and kind of talking about Budget Hughes the issue my fiance is on baby steps flew in six. She is very frugal brilliant with the money I am baby step two I have about thirty thousand dollars left to pay I expect to have it paid off within the next few good a huge thing though. Since we are not married, we have been obviously we have not combined finances do sheet so she wants to pay like all of the down payments for that. We think she wants to pay for and she wants me to continue handling. My Dad is how it is I can. Payments. Stops what down payments are you talking about? Venue caterers all the wedding starting. Okay. So she's going to pay for the wedding. Well I mean at least for respond until I can get closer to my debt pay off. But I think we should split the down payments and split everything that we are saving. If she wants a dress thousand bucks, you know I think I should five hundred toilets that okay. What do you make? both of us are interested in Make about sixty five years great. Okay. It doesn't matter mathematically. Okay. Okay. 'cause let let's just think about let's say she pays all the down payments in the dressing the wedding budget you get out of debt. That's the way that she's talking about and then when you're married the wedding paid for. And the student loan is clear, right? Or let's say. Let's say that we did it your way. And we said Okay you're. GonNa, pay for half the stuff. So you're not gonNA quite get the student loan paid off before you get married, but she's not going to have about half the wedding budget. So she could follow up a big savings account over there, write a check and pay off your student loan when you get home from the honeymoon when you come home from the honeymoon and mathematically you're going to be exactly the same place regardless of which plan use. Six or woman? Yeah. You see how I'm doing that. Yeah I got that I got that and so I I'm okay. I kinda like your plan relationship better. Jeff. In case, we wouldn't get married right which will not happen I know but I'm just saying it just feels better like you're you. You want to know half of this wedding budget. And that feels better to you and all she's got a news pile up some extra cash over here that she would have been covering the other half of the wedding budget with, and we can use that to pay off your student loan. When we're married, I'm fine with all of that after the weddings over. Got It. Thank you for calling in good good questions and I tell you here's the thing. Where people script stuff like that Is when they don't do what he's doing and his fiancee, they don't talk about it. That don't communicate about it. They just make assumptions and they just plow forward as if nothing matters as if the stuff didn't come up. Instead. They're going. Okay. This makes me feel weird. I so weird feeling my value system that I'm not picking up my half the wedding but also feels weird that she saving money over here to pay off his student loan later and You know just talk about the awkwardness talk about what we're doing with the money talk about how we're doing what we're doing. It's absolutely vital. You can get started as a young couple in gauged working through your pre marriage counseling. With those kinds of discussions you are light years ahead of most couples. Most couples don't talk about it. and IT consequently blows up. Clear the air clear the air think it through use critical thinking skills come up with a plan that we both Kinda agree to execute the plan.

Trader Joes Reserve Carneros Chardonnay 2019 Review

"Then from cheap wine finder.com with a wine review today from Trader Joe's they actually have some interesting wines right now. There is a deadline blood or they were supposed to be a wine glass. Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley and covid-19 is kind of shut down restaurants sales and you know, there's the fires out there are doing anybody any favors right now, but that's where we're at. And so they're starting to see and Trader Joe's has a bunch of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This isn't one of them. This is let me grab the bottle so I get it right. It's the Trader Joe's Reserve Chardonnay canero. Snap Valley 2019 lot 204. Keep in mind the 204 cuz there's also a 205 lot 2:05 and I believe that is a different producer Jim. All together. These are small production lines from a high-end growing area. This is a crime chardonnay pinot noir grow name is Richard name the 2019. So too young why not drink and now one but that's fine. Drinking now lines are usually made simply let those grapes shine through, you know, you're you know in not a lot of age and not a lot of this has some but not a lot and it just lets the grapes be nice and juicy and bright and when you have upscale groin area with expensive types with high-end Vineyards will have a young lion that what's the grapes shine through was a very very nice thing. Canaris is half and Sonoma happened. Napa Valley funny thing I'm going to label if it's in the Napa Valley where The Vineyards are that will be on the label. If it's on the snow my side to the second Narrows, you know, I guess that's being Snappy or something to take a sip. It's pretty good stuff. Nick an arrow Southern border even though it's Inland is the San Pablo Bay which is the northern part of the San Francisco Bay which has brings very cold cold pack Waters all the way Inland and you get the breeze as you get your basically on the coast, even though you're Inland and so it's kind of a freak of nature in the truest sense that it makes good wine that The back label said it was made by a good Winery and I couldn't really find an avid Winery but there isn't in the same town. They're from there's an avid Vineyards. Who do I end up, you know the wire in the exact same city, so it might be a part of that and they're high-end producer and I kind of think this wine is from a high-end booster. They bought the grace we can narrow so they made it wherever in Sonoma Coast region because the bottles a heavy bottle when you get these $10.99 off but usually a lightweight Echo bottle so it's less glass and cheaper to transport since it's a lighter weight wage actually has a real Court which you know for it's a line and should have I keep my quirks, but I have a whole bunch of them and it's so rare. It's always these kompas. Some of these plastic things or I don't know that's why I'm you know, you know, you should put screw Tops on if you're going to use these crappy things just put screw times, but this one actually has a very decent quarterback, but young wine one you wouldn't age so sign up like thick cork but it's way better than ninety-nine ninety-nine and Trader Joe's chardonnays normally have so it's need to be ironed grapes from a producer isn't really always that into making value-priced wines. It seems they don't tell you much about these things. You have to guess on what you get off, but that's what I'm guessing. It's from caneros. It tastes really good. It's a young one. Like I said the Young Lions are style. That's another thing and canaris. They don't make you online. This is Page nineteen if they just went in 2018 and made the line little more complicated a little bit longer and Barrel they can sell it for twenty twenty five dollars. You know, why solo / 999 that's one of the things at Trader Joe's Is actually kind of cool for Trader Joe's will give you a drink at now young wine with really upscale grapes. You don't really get that everywhere and that's kind of one of those when they really good things about about you know, people say, oh it's cheap wine iron. You got it all wrong you getting these unique wines up. You can't always get everywhere. So yeah keep that in mind if you if you off at the 205 lot 205 is in your store will like this isn't going to tell you everything this is for the lot 204 but it's really good. If you're into Chardon eight by it off. It's it's plenty good. It's some it's a taste of Carneros grapes that you're not going to get at this price bed. So there you go. So keep it cheap. Interview with Dr Aaron Tressler

"Welcome back to another edition of the Islamic Pittsburgh podcast. We are a podcast along with our sister podcast moving to live. The firmly believes in the ethos movement is a lifestyle, not just an activity I've said before some of our best guests come from recommendations or searching around in the Internet today's guest is actually coming because he searched out on the Internet and found me a couple of months back in sent me an email and said, hey, I've got this podcast making Pittsburgh healthy and I'd like to interview you for it and we did the interview will post that in the show links you can go listen to that podcast in IT'S A. Great, example of breaking. Down Knowledge Silos because there's so much knowledge out there. Sometimes, you don't know where to turn or sometimes you're just not aware of it. So I'm really happy day to be talking to Dr Aaron Tressler He is a chiropractic physician. He has a podcast her and as somebody who's on the north side of fifty. Also, what I think is great is he's taking the ethos movement is a lifestyle seriously because it fifty plus years of age won't let him share how old is if he wants not only is he a regular mover but he still plays rugby. So Dr. Tressler. Thanks for taking time to TALK TO FIT lab. About Movement and about your podcast to which I think is a great thing. Well, thanks for having me on the show. Ben. I love sharing my story and I love to hopefully inspire motivate people to get healthier whenever journey there on hopefully today after today's episode, they'll do a little bit more and have fun and like. I'm always curious as people who listen to fill out Pittsburgh. No one of my first questions I always ask every guest is are you a Pittsburgh native if so why are you still here if not what brought you to Pittsburgh? I am I grew up about forty five minutes east of Pittsburgh in the country and a went to slippery rock, my health and physical education specializing especially when. Back in nineteen, eighty seven and I moved West Palm Beach Florida get my teaching job when I was lived on there I began playing rugby there. I said they'll never come back. I said I have not coming back to the snow went to Chiropractic school in Georgia life and I chose that because it had the best rugby team. In any Brackley School, what are the best in the nation? And then after that, we had one daughter we my wife was pregnant with our second and I thought we gotta get we should get close to family so I did the trip back to Pittsburgh and I've been here ever since twenty six years here so and I love it it's it's great. So I'm always interested to hear when somebody does a career change into go from teaching to Chiropractic although I think you would agree that as a chiropractor you are teaching or educating it's just a different body but what was it at a? As a young teacher in high school or junior high school or elementary school says, okay I'm done with this. I'M GONNA. Go to chiropractic school. How did you find that path? It sounds crazy I I really believe God led my path the was orchestrating it. I didn't know at the time but I was Going back to slippery rock, they did a phenomenal job teaching. Physical Education is an education without her physical body. We have nothing that's how I look at it and. They so I, I graduated with the Palm Beach and It was looked at as like a gym teacher and remember parents saying to me once Did, you have to go to school to be a gym teacher and it just Just irked me. Teachers didn't understand the importance of integrating physical movement with the kids were they would say, Hey, the kids they didn't get their schoolwork that we're going to keep him out of your class to get their math at the wait a second. This is physical movement. This is just as important learning three plus three. So I had the best school in Jupiter Florida, a brand new school I was so frustrated I visited like university in Atlanta and I saw the rugby team and the rugby players me into just do it and you'll love it. It's great. I said, we're planning to get married my wife and I I said that let's do it. She said, okay. So I finished up my third year teaching got married. Atlanta Georgia playing rugby like two weeks later and I woke up thinking, how will you get here? So I love to I love Chiropractic I love integrating exercise movement nutrition lifestyle choices with the body and keeping his body healthy because it is absolutely incredible.

W. bush and Bill Clinton did that we do not need as we've talked about before a fourth rescue of Chinese communism and I don't think the administration is it especially after the twins speeches by pence and palm tale I don't think it's going to do that couldn't the slowdown in China is not entirely or even much of a in the majority about the trade dispute with the United States it is a five followed the case that you obey these many years a product of the reporting of the growth being either false witness or on on necessarily unduly and recklessly pumped up by stimulus money in other words they were creating credit these many years and that credit extended to the loo to the least responsible and the most exploitation of parts of the economy that would be the landholders in parts of the country that are not ever going to develop not in this century so this slowdown we're seeing garden it was built in right we would be seeing this whether or not Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump or in the White House door Mickey Mouse for that matter yeah the the the the Chinese economy was going to slow down because of decisions that season paying and others made what president trump's section three oh one terrorists have done has accelerated stat slow down and have made it worse but you're absolutely right this is a made in China problem and this was going to occur regardless of who is the American presidents and she Jen paying spells and road Shizhen pangs twenty twenty five that was advertising that was put ten can advertising for something that in the ikana in Beijing being responsible to the Communist Party could say was coming they've been anticipating this program for years if I if I measure their propaganda well built and road is certainly disadvantageous for the Chinese economy on balance they will have some victories on bell road but they're gonna have a lot of the buckles made in China twenty twenty five is a bit different it is a real threat through trade violations they help to build up but technology dominance in in now eleven sectors including five G. this is something that every American needs to worry about and president trump's policies with regard to China need to take into account twenty twenty five because this is you know technology so it is serious we have a minute that is who now we're looking at a possibility for a depression made in China twenty twenty five yeah we have a real possibility of a depression made in twenty twenty or earlier specially if we have president trump take more robust actions against the Chinese which you definitely should because we need to put the Chinese economy on its back this is the one way to solve a lot of problems without people doing garden check of the daily beast that is meant Qatar W. "Let me address first the c._p._a. The california consumer privacy act so that is going into implementation january of twenty twenty. It only overlaps in an area with g._d._p. Arm the area of when we're talking about user rights outside of that it is still an opt out framework it still a notification and consent where you have to give a consumer the information of what they're doing with your data and how they're going to use that data and then you have to give them the option to consent with it or not consent c._p._a. Actually adds another layer to that. That says you may use my data but you may not sell it anybody else it has to stay with it and so that's actually very new for any state or federal law <hes> <hes> for the u._s. In addition it beefs up a lot of consumer rights. It gives california residents very similar consumer rights as what we see in the g._d._p. Are with the european law so i think with california we see things like you can request your data. So you can add you can move. You can change it. You can poured it so those things have their good policy and a lot of companies. He's do it anyway but it hasn't been defined in law the way it is here. You can tell me what you've done with my data over the last four months or over the last year. What what have you done with my data. That's very new for u._s. Law and one of the challenges are c._c._p._a. Is that it is centered centered on california only so you have a lot of multi state u._s. based companies that have presence in all states and hand. They may not be necessarily ready to follow these rules nationally or may not be set up so they do. They set ended up all over the u._s. or do they just sent her and on california in some cases. You don't know who you're california customers. Hey kelly thanks so much for joining us again. On our journey to the five g. world world privacy will shape the way we get there and as marketers what we can do within the boundaries of the privacy box. "Cloud services this is i mean there's just a lot of entry points there where you have to have that authentication in that handshake to be able to secure connection because now now because you're going to have so many devices uploading and keeping very key data in the cloud and accessing it think about the number of points of failure here you could potentially have with those scenarios and those extraneous variables could get out of control really quickly so a more personal data be they. They are more dispersed network with more points of potential failure so these are some of the things to be concerned about in a five g. World privacy insecurity live in the same house. They're just not the same person so security were talking about the christian and <hes> the authentication <hes> <hes> standards and what authentication keys of us and the and the encryption keys that you use and being able to hash date on things like that right so so that's what we're talking about on security but the problem is there's there's data in motion data at rest and so you have data in motion that's encrypted that doesn't necessarily keep safe. The data at rest so we're privacy comes in is where either that security is breached and so a whole lot of readable apple data or data. That's downloaded that isn't readable that someone figures out the key to some level of encryption that they have or they figure out the patterns that were used to encrypt that data or the key to that data where privacy comes into play. It's like what do i personally want told about myself to my you to the user. It's more about who i am and what i wanna do. Security is about once. I give you that permission to collect this or you have to collect this because i signed up for the service. Are you going to ensure that. My data's not going to get where it's not supposed to be. The nature of connections in a five g. world create issues on both privacy front and the security front so security breaches of privacy breach right because europe in the u._s. Have different privacy frameworks in place. How will five g. impact the two regions differently because of those frameworks. That's a good question shaka. I think there's a big challenge with it's five g. in europe over the u._s. We were talking before about regulation in the u._s. Where it's mostly notice and consent so the opt out framework is the primary framework of regulation on a federal level in the u._s. Around privacy law in europe. That's very different consent very explicit consent. It's actually called informed. Explicit consent has to be given for each the use of the data so when we're talking about maybe giving consent one time and just using the data. That's going to be a challenge. Each one of those data in each purpose of data has to have its own consent and the consent itself has to be written on a very basic sick human level. It cannot be a complicated legal document as we've been talking about with five g. There's a lot of uses of of data and a lot of business models. It'd be evolving and so with g._d._p. Are they're going to have to give consent for every single. One of those uses a personal data where we have here and we have precise and non precise geographic location like we talked about that is not the case in europe any the following of movement of the device or the data subject that has the device is considered tracking that individual whether that's persona sicer non precise it doesn't matter they don't have those designations in europe as you can imagine all these small cell towers location is very accurate. Different applications want to use data differently. They want to offer new services to the customer. They wanna give value added services to the customer..

"New battleground. I think one of the real defenses offenses that traditional physical retailers have against ecommerce players is the fact that they have both a local presence injustice significantly local sensibility one of the Nice things at five z brings. This is <hes> the ability to provide personalization at the local level because of its improvement in performance latency and so back to how marketing changes we're all starting to dip our toe into personalization right now personalized personalized at the point of local relevancy starts to become a real opportunity and potential advantage for physical retailers. That's always been true. It's true today without five G.. It really starts to help marketers think about how to use his local preferences local tastes local trends and use that as a way to really be a local goods provider at services provider to to anyone with the point of sale and then you combine that with the fact that being in the physical physical world you can bring people physically together to celebrate discover enjoy those local tastes. That's a real nice opportunity. That's a bit different than what we know. E commerce has being today but I could argue that blend of human experiences is something that we're all I I think in general hungering more for as as as we all get more addicted to our screens right <hes> but the the ability then to create something of a local experience with that geographic context and personalized experience as a standard <hes> <hes> is a is a really interesting opportunity..

We are living in a world where we talk about our phones smartphones smart devices in general. And we talk about the network of something providing junior verse connectivity, so on different devices obligations. Get excited the same thing, and then all the apps are at the other end typically very, very centralized. The deliver of absorb phones is a centralized phenomenon as we move with five G few things happen, the execution of especially before most critical applications on moving close to subscribers. We refers to that movement as you will edge computing mobile edge computing. But it's all about bringing the execution of those application close closer to the subscribers. We do that. The same time as networks become way better in terms of speed and capacity and provides a lot lower latency that speed and capacity in combined with the computing, could log transition to lean devices device, source smaller lighter cheaper because we have moved off some of the compute.

"These were corn squares that had a fruity filling, and then some not all the pieces had the filling inside them which seems kind of chintzy now, but it was a promotional thing at the time. And they were iced with the fillings were cherry orange in grape. This was this is only out in nineteen Ninety-three very short lived. But I remember it being very very tasty. I'd love to see hidden. Treasures come back. Yeah. We've never seen crave. Do a fruit flavor. So I definitely think that's a missed I missed niche that could really be filled. What about you? Yes. So I got I've got to I could definitely think of top of my head and the first well, you know, that Pokemon is always in the news. So I see no reason that Pokemon serial sort of from the recent turn of the century turn of the century could make a comeback as well. There's just something to seeing Pokemon in marshmallow form that is irresistible to me. It's just I was definitely from generation that's very nostalgic for polka Amman. There's multiple generations. That are now. But I don't know this one is really strikes in this chord with me, and I think that really missing like business potential, not putting an exclusive Pokemon go character, or you know, monster to catch inside of a cereal box. Now, what was the content of this cereal pieces that we talked about it was basically just like a lucky charms rip off as most license series were on that time. And yeah, still are where it was the pieces with various colored character marshmallows. But the Pokomo one's really went to the the extremes of the color limit. Whereas other ones use a couple there is really just a rainbow imagination there. Yeah. Delicious. What else? L? Let me just say one more thing about the Pokemon cereal though, lettering on the bucks cannot be to this day. So I'll say very. For my other cereal. I'm really going to pull a wild card here because waffle crisp as we remember it was recently, tragically discontinued. So you'd think that I might pick that one. But instead, I'm going to pick eggo cereal. For the for the sheer drama of it what if just months after waffle, Chris fades off shelves, you see eggo cereal, which which about a decade or so ago. I think it tried to challenge the waffle crisp, title and failed. So what if he came back triumphant setting up, you know, another waffle crisper turn in the third act to take down the tyranny of eggo cereal. Is that sheeting? No, I don't think it's cheating. It's completely legal. I I will be honest. I'm not crazy about the eggo. That's style of cereal the large. What is that? That's like a large corn peas, right? Basically like out blend. I feel like with these like larger pieces when you compare it to the classics your Catholic crunches your tricks, whatever you're never gonna fill a satisfied with a bowl full these really large pieces. You mean from a hunger standpoint, or like a a pleasing geometry standpoint geometry of consumption, I would say, yeah, you don't think that sort of the waffle cross hatched pieces better absorbed milk that way it is. Nice. I will give you that. Speaking of cross hatching, and if we've been given this incredible power. Of resenting cereal. I am going to go ahead and bring back Graham checks. I which were not not a beloved cereal came out in eighty six did not have a long run. But they were. Sweet. Sweetened wheat pieces, which we can get into this point. But that's for me. It's the best checks. We pieces, but they were sweetened on. They were served with little crispy mini Graham. Made the serial it was like really really really really really good. I'm gonna show you our little chat. But discord you a picture of the box. I just tell me that you're not hungry looking at these delicious little grand pieces, they are out of control. I mean, those colors first of all look at anything else. Let's the color the boxes. Also, absolute madness threaded read. With some blue bubble-type over purple bubble type and just these little cute little sort of rounded off teddy grams peeking out as if you know to be those Graham cracker mascots, but they're really just crackers. Amazing magic majestic site. I I might change my vote and bring back this one. Instead because we need a challenge to the grand throne..

"I gotta tell you. I'm really excited about our third segment. The third side of the empty bowl. We like to have some fun. Not so serious like the rest of the show kinda let our hair. Let our hair down a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. Dip into the milk a little bit. We were we had this idea for pitching cereals that. We would like to. And we thought we could pitch a couple that we would like to see comeback. I have a couple in mind. Maybe you have to the would be good. My obvious one forever. It always is. Smurfs very greatest cereal I've ever had. Oh, yeah. Was that the one that turned poop blue? Yeah. Yeah. It had a bad rap. But, you know, a lot of these I I wish I could try just like a couple of spoonfuls just to like recalibrate the goodness in my mind. Because in my mind, I've never eaten anything that tasted like. Smurfs very crutch like the closest I ever came was. Wildberry fruit. Loops the extremely delicious while very for for lives, which have there's something about the flavor of them. It's like that berry whatever the fake berry flavor is that I found so peeling they're schnauzers like I'm basically going are like thirty years ago or something like that. It's been decades eating the cereal. Obvious one. But the one might be more relatable. I would like to pitch the return of. Hidden treasures, oh in treasures was a really delicious cereal. Not unlike the best comparison is probably crave, you know, with a K sort of larger biscuits with a softer filling inside this was not a longtime cereal..

"A Graham cracker with marshmallow fluff smeared on top which is kind of the definition of ambiguously sugary. I think and sweet right exactly layers. So, yeah, I'm getting kind of loss in this in this triangle analogy, but all I'm saying is that why have cocoa with marshmallows when you can look like five feet to your left or right and see the Honey mates more cereal which adds sort of the golden grams type flakes to the mix and really just would slam dunk on it. And if the serial came to that sort of basketball like context. When serious play basketball, you could always count Dan to pick the winner of the basketball game that the cereals play. There you go put Honey made s'mores at the top of your bracket this year. The Matt a gas car cereal similar to that. Post is actually repackage. This Moore's type blend of the golden grams flakes, chocolate puffs and the plain white marshmallows. They've done as the meta Gasco virgin they'd done it as the Honey made. Now, they also released it in Canada as just smaller cereal, and it's also been released as multo meals more cereal because post owns multiple meal and therefore also the meta guest cereal. So it's it's more is all the way down. Yeah. And then, of course, Callow has more with Z the one which is actually kind of better because it removes sort of the combo paradox altogether by jamming chocolate and Graham into one piece. So that's how you do it..

"Obviously this is a slower time of year so reviews have have slowed a bit. Do you have any wanted to to to bring up? Yes. So what we wait for all? These many many new serials out. There are a couple of returning holiday cereals that are worth talking about cabin crunches Christmas crunch around for decades. Now, perhaps, you know, geological eons for all we know it's back again. Have you gotten chance to try yet? I did I got I got a box of this at the store, you know, it's your it's your typical blood. I will say though, that I feel like it was pretty generous with the with the berries that Christmas shaped berries, and it may be my imagination. But I feel like the God this is really inside baseball. But I guess it's fine for us show about serial right over thinking it to the degree, but I feel like the like hat shapes and snowman shapes can actually circulate a little better in the serial than the actual crunch berries. Can you think they're more like aerodynamic ver- cruncher dynamic? I guess is what I would say kind of they can slit between the the biscuits, or I think I've heard of you. Miss chests? They slip between them a little easier. Just slicing through them like an explorer with a machete. Yeah. Exactly, man. Do you think do you think it's better or worse to have more crunch berries? Oh better. I mean, like, I I have never had UCS berries. Because I feel like it. I would go insane with hobbies. That would be my main my main fear. To subject each sort of Greek tragic, fate of just eating all the time. Yeah, they would. Yeah. It would definitely take on some fear some H lovecraft in sorts of sort of like opening my my consciousness to I'd. Yeah. Differently mad. There's definitely a beautiful sort of yin Yang balance Christmas crunch that I think brings the best of both worlds together, and you know, brings joy to the whole world much like the holiday season it self so good job Cap'n crunch. Any other cereals wanted to to review to put on the the seriously dot com. Griddle? Yes, there's another one that kind of slipped onto shelves really silently kinda volved on the shelves. Really? Because we I saw cocoa puffs with marshmallows last Christmas as hot cocoa cocoa puffs, which obviously did not last because of the sheer tongue twisting redundancy of the name. About it's not hot. Can't do it. Please stop do know. Microwave? Your cocoa puffs. Hot cocoa blizzard this year, Mike. You're embarrassing yourself. That's a frozen ice cream tree. It's just like eating a frozen white castle slider outside of an in and out burger. But anyway, we I saw cocoa with marshmallows the Christmas time, and now they're returning this year just sort of in the the D seasonal is form. And just straight cocoa puffs with marshmallows. It was released in like, the big bag form is where I I saw it. But now, I'm finally seeing it in boxes as well. So you wouldn't really think twice about this combo said it out loud to you in passing. This could be the type of Syria. You would believe has been around for decades. But this is the first time in my at least recent memory that it's happened. But much like the frosted flakes with marshmallows. I kind of have a problem with the textural contrast here, not even to speak yet of the flavor combo. I just feel that an airy corn cereal and airy marshmallows do not pair. Well, I think we've talked about this before having me. Yeah. I it is. I completely agree. I feel like it's makes it really unsubstantial. I think you could I also think that that size of marshmallow is too big. I like a lot of these really chunky marvette. So I think it's like too much. Yeah. Definitely. Because obviously, obviously the textural problems we will documented here, but the flavor combo here also kind of irks me because in my mind s'mores as a flavor combo is like a sacred triangle only some parts works together on their own. So if you have you can have Graham. And chocolate without marshmallow because that's pretty much like a candy bar. Right. I don't think that any of the other ingredients can stand with marshmallow alone. You have a sweet flavor and a better chocolate sweet flavor or you just have you know?.

"I feel like it appeals to, you know, rational minded adults who are more persuaded in commercials by like cereal factory workers in real life. Like Honey bunches of oats does persuaded by that then a fictional sea-captain? Like, maybe you and I are right fair enough. So I think we just have to let them do their own thing in the different world that they're working in diverse moons in every once in a while and appreciate it as outsiders. I'm really excited about this next one. This is the kind of serial news that I actually held my phone up. So my wife could stare at it and ignore me. But I was very excited. Yeah. This is a strange one. I'm not going to a hundred percent confirm this because I don't want to be caught in sort of an elaborate cereal leak or a fake serial league. So to speak that before it has actually I got a photo of a freedom crunch box, which was a very patriotic Cap'n crunch cereal that we predicted was gonna come out for independence day. But it turns out that there was a script concept, and you know, I had to retread my ground and sort of back on that scam. But no, it's really good that that when didn't come out probably. But in this case, we have a very trustworthy source. Dunkin donuts and post teaming us teaming up to bring us caramel makihata cereal that is wait for it caffeinated. Yeah. This is wild this is wild. Yeah. We've seen a coffee Syria before general mills released a mocha crunch cereal. Not too far back, but it's never been caffeinated. Probably for obvious reasons. Just because of you know, how many kids are in the cereal. So I am a little worried about you know, what floodgates or milk gates? This actually opens will we see like monster energy, drink cereal. Five hour energy slip in there. We got to really be careful about how far we let this go. There's a searched for caffeinated cereal. And the only response is think geek selling captain, Muslims spas -troit's. A hundred eighty milligrams of caffeine per ball. Of course, if you click on it, it is a an April Fool's gag valley. Not extant I'm interested in this because I feel like caffeine in my experience has a flavor like if you ever had like caffeinated gum or you five our air. Jay when you're getting that like he'd have caffeine. There's different like taste to it. Yeah. Kinda hits you like in the back of the throat almost dreaded. Yeah. I think if they layer enough sugar on it. They can probably get out of that unless they're doing some sort of caffeinated glaze. I don't really know where the caffeine is going to enter the process, but posts been doing some pretty wild collaborations lately. So I kind of trust them to be getting back on their feet after the devastating honeycomb toll. Any other cereals? We got one more that came from the same release rather to more flavors of pebbles, actually, it's tropical fruit and strawberry. Banana pebble cereals are allegedly coming out from post which maybe around the same time as the caffeinated cereal. It's probably too early to say, but pebbles is another one of those cereal. Brands at tends to just come out of nowhere with these unexpected ones. They've had a sugar cookie pebbles in the past sometimes they just kinda recover them for the holidays. It's kind of a mixed bag. But these are some some interesting choices excited to see what happens. Yeah. These look absolutely delicious. That tropical thing is not something that I have. Scene. I think very often in Syria flavors, especially if they're going for like a coconut kind of vibe. Yeah. Yes. So may see a lot. Well, if you look at the fruit blend on the box, it looks like it's supposed to be bananas pineapples and mangoes, and I've never seen a pineapple Serio. There's been one trader Joe's, mango cereal, and obviously there's been an cereals, but to take all that compounding level of rarity and put it into one. "A lot of exciting happenings in the world of cereal you've been. Oh practically sweating into. My golden grams is just this is the time of year that I call the opening of the milk gates, so to speak because it's probably the second hardest part of the year as a as the on the ball, cereal journalist, or at least I aspire to be, but this is the time of year when all the major cereal companies announce the products that they're going to be releasing at the start of next year for some reason for some secretive marketing reason than I'm sure none of us will ever find out all cereals or the bulk of them for the year tend to come out near the start of the year. And then they'll trickle out in reappear more seasonally or just randomly throughout. But in order to write about all of them. You know, I've really had do keep my spoon to the grindstone to keep up and to prepare for, you know, the actual star twenty nineteen when it'll be even higher because I have to hunt them down. So I got a lot of things to talk about. We have a lot. There's a lot of new cereals coming out of the pipelines returning cereals. Let's just let's just get to it. With a section. We call. News. So I chocolate toast crunch is coming back. Yes, we're we're in the midst of a lot of reboots lately. But there's really this sort of toast crunch dynasty going on like some sort of miniature soap opera, we're all the flavors. Some of them seem like they're disappearing like blueberry toast crunch. Feels like it might be on the way out. But then there's always new ones coming back sugar, cookie toast crunch. Just got back from the grave, and let me say I got that box of that for my birthday. My wife called me about birthday, and what doesn't light that cereal is infinitely edible that serial cannot keep my hands off of it. You actually boxes of cereal on your birthday. I think she knew that it was the the time of the time of year that I would let myself indulge if it was a gift I would be forced to that's true. It's very good point. So we ought sugar cookie. Toast crunch coming back and now chocolate toast crunch. Could is coming back as well. Which is kind of an interesting reboot because I never really saw having the same appeal at least cult appeal as maybe frosted toast crunch peanut butter toast crunch. But someone out there must be sending general mills enough. Very well, punctuated emails to get them to bring back shocked toast crunch as well. So we have that to look forward to from that family of cereals. I'm sure it's delicious. I do take unbridged with the fact that that's not a thing. Chocolate, toast, is is not a fait. You know, I never really thought about it that way it's very irritating. All these other cereals, I can get my way there, you know. But this this is a bridge too far. Now, if they hold on hold on you're saying that sugar cookies on toast is a reasonable thing in reality. No. But I that's a good point. I would I would buck against that. But I could argue that like sugar cookies are thing. Sure. I mean, I guess you could get a cookie cutter shaped like a piece of bread that might be with with they're going for now. See if they wanted to do. A chocolate hazelnut. Genius. Yeah. Now, Dan, maybe a little too far. What else is what else is going on? So we got something exciting coming from Honey, bunches of oats, or at least. So I've seen in my sort of investigative web crawling. There's an apple caramel crunch, Honey, bunches of oats. Now, this is a brand that I'm kind of silently infatuated with because they feel like that that quite guy in the back of the fight seeing that, you know, is going to do something cool because every time they just come out of nowhere with this new flavor that you don't really expect. But it just tends to knock it out of the park the with chocolate Honey bunches, they did it with maple pecan Honey bunches. And now I trust them to do it again with apple caramel Honey bunches because that's just not a flavor we see almost ever in the cereal. I cannot get myself excited about new Honey bunches of it's it's weird. It's like, I'm sure we good. It's just not. Yeah. I mean, I kind of get it..

"Things but also with wi fi laura you know any any of those other networks as well and really edged computing is ideally placed to really benefit that you know you talk about how i've never seen you know a example of while it's networks really made me think low latency but if you think about for instance going back to that car example it's going to be difficult to convince the regulatory body to your tournaments costs you to drive down the highway with the big pool of cat five hanging out the back to let it connect to the network you can try it but maybe a trip has so that's a great example where that's going to need very low latency purely wireless only activity in it really plausible sofa so many devices that we talk about like not just you know existing devices but also the cause drones very small senses deployed in very hard to reach locations bastogne battery or solar power all those kinds of things as well so that's why i really like to bring about the examples the edge descent to at cell site because it has the potential to really benefit a very large number of uses that by definition within the local area because you can define that by the coverage area of the of the cell site and really let them actually use these kinds of nepotism as well with a respectable amount of lights and five got so many different styles of bandwidth and frequency that they're using for different use cases now so it's not it's not like five g is just this one thing with certain transport characteristics there's going to be some very high bandwidth lower latency applications for isolated five g cells and so on that i suspect are gonna come into play here yeah absolutely and one other thing that's interesting also with five g is that one thing that really piqued my interest with the whole concept of hey cell site and what if i can put this micro data's today is if you think about how these five g networks are being talked about being conducted at the moment.
