"Good morning and welcome. This is lucy painter with your daily insight in today we continue with the talk peak favor and we say that trio landing the keys that can attract goods favor in our lights today. We in key number five key number. Five is be faithful and one of the example. We are going to look at is nor nor found favor with god due to his faithfulness. He walked faithfully with god in that led to favor. If you read the word of god in genesis six but seven to nine. The bible says so the lord's seat. I will wipe from the fist of the at the human race. I have created and with them the animals the bads and the creatures that move along the ground for. I regret that. I have made them but no found favor in the eyes of the law. This is the account of noah and his family. North was a righteous man blameless among the people of his time and he walked fade fully with god he walked full league with god and i want to imagine the anger of god rat that he had at that time when he came to this decision that he regrets that he created everybody. Can you imagine the point of anger. The point of regrets that god was at this point where he says. I am going to destroy man. I'm going wiped. From the face of the human race i am going to wipe the most annoying to wipe the bat and going to the creatures but even in the media to that in the midst of that regret in the midst of that range. There is somebody who stood up. There is somebody who found favor in his eyes. And this somebody his name is nor why did he find favour. He found favour because he was faithful. He was righteous. He was blameless among the people and he walked faithfully with god ba- faith buffet. F- be faithful and that faithfulness draws or attracts favor with god. And i wonder had attached this with the next two key is be ratios and be blameless at as we can also see in the example of nor been rushes and blameless is a key to find in favor so be faith is key number five and not key number six is beauty. She s embiid blameless. And we also find this call to righteousness in the new testament. The bible says seek fast the kingdom of god and his righteousness and all this things will be added unto you. That is in matthew six three. We always said the sickie fast. The kingdom of god and it's righteousness all the other things shall be added unto you but sometimes we do not set the priorities. Right we seek other things and then righteousness comes after. Or i shall snus is is a by the way. But when we seek to be rascist to be limbless to be faithful not favor. We seek it from bath favor that that faithfulness that righteousness attracts favor. Then all these other things are either. The bible says in psalm. Five bus twelve shoe early. Lord you bless the righteous you surround them with your favorite as with a shield. I want you to imagine this. I want to visualize this shula. Lean lord you bless the rashes. You surround them with your favor. As with a shield. You can be blessed to favor because favor as i say from the beginning on monday favorite leads to lessen favor leads to blessing shouli lord. You bless ratios. You surround them with your favor as we the shield. So that moment to bus in your head to be faithful the moment to purpose in your hats to walk in righteousness. And to be blameless. And i know that owned righteousness is just like food rats before the week cannot be able to maintain righteousness but we have received the righteousness of god we have recieved righteousness through cries and having received his righteousness by the grace of god. We do not take the chris of god in vain meaning we cannot go sailing with really fli we walk out about all salvation with fear and trembling we maintain righteousness and that grows favor. And now once we do that. The bible says he's surrounds the rushes with favor as a shield we are shielded. You are blessed and that favor leads to bless that favor leads to blessed nor stood out in the east of angra in the midst of range when the law was ready to wipe out the whole creation when the law was ready to destroy the animals in mass much as they never had the will they never had the consciousness of world's happening. The anger of the lord was kindled and ready to wipe everything to fall into destroy but even in such moments range in tomlin anger. There was something that caught that tension of faithfulness faithfulness. Righteousness he was blameless. Noah found favor you found favor and because of that he was prescribed. You had that shield repeated again and again in subs. Five shield was in the form of a knack. The law told noah you should build a knock. He will shield dead from the flat because he found favor. I pray for you today. Then as you continued to seek the kingdom of god and its righteousness as you continue to pursue faithfulness and righteousness and to walk blameless to pursue the wheel of god and to pursue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling that you're going to attract the favor of god and he is going to build the favor around you as a shield and you shall be precise loved me. You be preserved as you continue to walk in righteousness ba- faithful or can righteousness be blameless. And the you be preserved just like the lord preserved nor may you be preserved. That is my prayer for you today in cheese name. This is lucy painter. We've your daily insight and this is favor day four..

"Terry says that when salt of the earth was made the strike scenes were filmed in hidden places away in the hills, where no one could see because if they came out here and tried to make the movie that people show up and start throwing rocks and stuff at him because there was so much Bad feelings against the union people even after they're enough to this day. You could talk to a local person that was alive or involved in any way. And you'll know in 15 20 seconds which side they were on. There's still something that carries weight for folks. Yes, and still has a stigma to it. Actually, they were talking about making the Union Hall a little museum, and I immediately got two phone calls. From elderly Anglos that said, what in the world are they trying to do? They can't stir that stuff up. We've got to stop him, and I mean that was just a year or so ago. The strike's still has admirers. During one of the anniversaries. Terry remembers seeing lots of Latinos, many of them who had lived in the area but moved away. They came back to pay their respects. They're also newcomers to the town who are curious about the history boy one time one of the salt of the earth anniversaries. I think we had five buses and must have had 11 cars following the buses and people got here and we even had that time had a couple of the old ladies that were on the picket line. One of them just passed away a few days ago. The woman who passed away just a few days before I met Terry. Her name was one of Sierra. There's a video of her from one of the salt of the earth anniversaries standing in front of this plaque surrounded by a small crowd. Wanna is describing being taken to jail and beaten by sheriff's deputies heart and I hope that you don't feel the way I used to feel. When they took us over there is here. Your mother dies. Why is Data Interoperability critical for the Digital transforming of the Healthcare system

"I will be talking to leading minds in the healthcare sector and exploring how disrupters are leveraging technologies Jock how you doing hi I'm doing I'm doing great excellent thank you for sharing your time with that would you like to share more on ladies roles you have worked in and May I also share a fun fact about yourself yeah I I've held a variety of different roles either directly in healthcare air or serving healthcare so I was a cio for a hospital for about ten years and then after that I worked in a variety of companies selling it solutions to to healthcare assistant companies preparing their message for CIO's and and so on so I've had a variety of of roles within serving healthcare or in healthcare and a fun fact I'm an advanced scuba diver and one of the things that I love to do is go dive where their sea turtles a passion of mine last year I had the pleasure of of diving in one of the places where my hero Jacques Cousteau was diving in Thailand so it was it's one of those things where if I could do it every day I would excellent that's interesting so how many places have begun and I the interestingly enough I only started diving later in life I probably have about fifty dives so far and I've died in the Caribbean mostly in Thailand fifty more than we do I have not been able to get around and get my information I do a Lotta snorkeling but Dan Scuba dive that is something on my bucket at least hopefully the cross that off my list well it's something that that is very it it's fun and relaxing to do so. it's a great thing that I like so let's get back to the main topic on the fetus known challenges that house system is facing today and how digital transformation can solve so please share with our audience from your vantage point what do you think are the critical challenges lesbian faced and if I may ask can we break those challenges by Rita's entity types that says providers there's far mom medical device manufacturers to the agencies and most important really the basic sure why don't we start with the patient because I think that's where the challenges for the rest of the system comes from I I would say today with the amount of information that the disposal of patient they expect greater service rapid service they expect access to the healthcare system in ways that they actually it's every other aspect of their lives so they do banking they go online and do banking when they go watch it when they want to consume media they go online and they consume media and the challenge for the healthcare system is being able to respond to those needs in the way that a consumer is looking for services and putting a lot of pressure on the different level service delivery so if you look at the primary care physician one of the challenges that they have is that for the most part patients come in with more information that their disposal Ol- that the primary care physician may have and they almost pre diagnosed themselves so by coming in fully informed it puts a lot of pressure on the primary Care Heider too too quickly and properly diagnosed and properly recommend course of treatment so when you go one level up then from primary care then you have the the acute care or or the hospital sector or the private care facility that has a lack of data so you have there's so much a discrepancy between the connectivity between the different providers that the flow of information doesn't readily go from one provider to another so there's a disconnect between gene primary care and there's a disconnect between acute care and there's a disconnect between private care whether it's physio or whether it's a radiologist or or whatever the practitioner may be so one of the big challenge for the system as a whole right now is connectivity data sharing and what's putting pressure on is Asians to to overcome is all the pressures a financially how do you build a system fast enough to be able to accommodate the need of a consumer just their iphones every three years and expect their applications to be renewed every three years and so how do you build that infrastructure and information systems that meet those needs you've got financial pressures you also have pressures from leadership of organizations to also restructure and and modernized the healthcare system so you hear about all these jurisdictions across the country or even internationally where there's mergers and acquisitions in hospitals in the hospital systems in the the US or in Canada you have mergers and acquisitions forced by government so regionalization of healthcare delivery so the continuum of care the suffering because of that so there's a lot of pressure on on organization leadership to consolidate the system and that puts pressure on digitization or going digital for that matter so here's my question and excuse my ignorance but having been a set of rentals in healthcare and ninety per boss Twenty Years Twenty five buses I have hard time understanding why these rash shows are unique to healthcare because you mentioned an example of online banking and banking as as a whole lot of emanate that happened in banking industry CBS Well may not be so much in Canadian space everybody stay boo five banks but if you look outside they have been lot of mergers and positions within the financial industry and sector but they are able to transmit data and I give this example that I travel a lot because of work and if I have to be in India for example I was and then I need some money I was a school to an ATM machine and Insert my Canadian Takhar and my brain and machine will dispensary money and that machine that interactive machine that eventuate image in Iran will be over bank in India you know for that matter and they will be able to identify me valley did communicate with the bank and Kinda and dispense the money and then put proper credit and do my daughter balance and all of that happens within minutes if not seconds and all so that interoperability of data is the question that I am not able to our put my arms around as to why data onto might be gone not get me to do my hospitals and Wieser was so what. your point of view is that these systems can communicate and show the banks in India not using the same information system at bank and Can you help me understand that I won't answer that we leave with two points. The first point is data standardization so in healthcare her that there's so many different systems that are in place that are Emr's of different varieties and flavors and the consistency and the data standards for the Alexa of bad data is not easy to transmit from one system to another so that is is definitely where the biggest challenges in terms of of data sharing but the second aspect of that is monetization so in the banking systems there is financial rewards for transmitting that data online institution to another because the customer there's usually transaction fees attached to it there's usually a monetization process where when bank in exchange data or using another ATM of another bank because the data the data standardization is better on the financial side for communicating transactions than it is on the secure site it's easier to do and the second thing is that there's monetization so there's money changing hands to accommodate those consumers that travel so they're in the healthcare assistant that's not there so there's no financial incentives to build to build those connections in the healthcare system as it exists in the financial systems.

You can't get to shoreline amphitheatre by walking. There's not not a real. Can you insist on driving? You're supposed to like literally go to San Jose and take a bus. That's ironic because sure if you're a Google you're right next door to shoreline amphitheatre, you can walk over. But anybody else it's incredible. Lift and it's going to take God knows the trout, and the traffic will be worse because everybody will be lift, and there's plenty of parking carpal, tons of parking months in. I don't know anybody don't take lift I it would make you save the environment. If you take a bus that's better than taking in vigil. We're where do I get a bus subway? And there's really no good way. There's a light rail The age. EPA theater or the D. I take. Yeah. I was like I take Cal train when I come up from the city to San Jose or Belton view. And then I usually take a Uber or lift fronts Coltrane, that's actually not a bad way to do it. Which is. Fairly Yuki Nanyuki. That's not fair. I have I have nothing is a hotels on the peninsula in the city are just so impossible. I worm problem, but I have one near the airport. So I think I'm going to stay there. Go down rive Monday. The hotel go down Tuesday, Wednesday, go up to you and back Thursday flotilla. So that's my week. Well, his here if you're at BJs restaurant and brew house, you take the fifty five bus to go up there. Yeah. And in from the thirty two bus take the one eighty-five bus, and then you can walk Hristo away. It's about ninety five minutes. I think it's gonna enjoy that day. It's a it's a little circuitous. The first bus leaves it three minutes from Dan's in mary-anne, actually BJ's is right next. Apple, so I guess that's why the been there and also the other one right crossing near the airport..

"Five bus on number of bus. Let's say all bus. Yes. Okay. It's a it's a sacred pilgrimage fifty five best from down on sherbrooke street all the way up. Yeah, you can find you can actually find it anywhere. And not sin that I think I said this before, but, you know, it's really available to us even on the best. That's my little rhyme to and things off. It really is. So I have a question for you. 'cause we brainstorm ideas of, of creating maybe a new podcast together. 'cause just got night. We, we loved it when you came on the show, and we wanna wanna make you either regular guests or find someway, and we're brainstorming about maybe doing like, a, a movie or a show or documentary view podcasts for we watch something. And then we talk about it. Yeah. That's still an interesting idea for you. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. It's interesting because I think there's a lot of things I, I would like to watch that. I don't know about, and there's beautiful really powerful things being created, and it would give me a chance to have a sacred space in. I would be invited to your yoga studio. I e your movie theater and to be in. Yeah. In the in the world that someone created and witness it, like we were speaking before witnessing somebody's creation, or a whole teams creation and then wondering inquiring about it finding out more about it and probably more about ourselves in the world in the in the process that because I love doing it with you, too, because I feel like we could go to some really interesting places that wouldn't be only like, evaluating whether we like this movie or show or documentary or not. But we also like use it to branch out and discuss other things. So my ask of anyone listening to this. As if this is the show that interests, you let us know in comments are wherever else. If this is something you'd be in to maybe we could record for session. We could choose something we want to watch. Yeah. I is there anything else that we've forgotten to bring up today? Oh well, we could probably keep going, but no, I think that's good. I feel like I had a really great bowl of soup. Meet you, as, as anytime we meet to talk. It's so fun. It's so yeah, it's, it's a dance. It's unpredictable yet. I know it's going to be nourishing like a bowl of soup. Thanks so much for coming on the ad my pleasure. And we're sending good vibes out there to Scott, who hopefully is not still stuck in traffic. And everyone listening. Thank you. Thank you so much for listening. So this is Vanessa, and Pete signing off on the spear Bros podcast. All right. All right.

"Is the plan to get people to see the dangers of human trafficking? This is really a silent crime. And the reason for it is that most of us know when we see a crime being committed, and we know what to do about it. If we're in a parking lot. We see somebody's smashing the window of a car and stealing the stuff sitting there. We get a pretty good idea. That's a criminal. We know what to do. We know to call nine one one call the police, but how do you recognize human trafficking? A lot of people have no idea. How to recognize it what it is? And what to do if they do see it? There are seventy three thousand people being trafficked for various reasons right now with taxes and San Antonio is really a hub of that trafficking because I thirty five and I are both major human trafficking routes now. Most human trafficking is is prostitution. It's sex trafficking. Mainly they take advantage of vulnerable teenage girls and young women homeless people sometimes immigrants, sometimes runaways and those individ-. Generally gravitate to transportation hubs bus stations, mainly if you run away from home, you go to the bus station serves so a legislative committee has recommended that there be a law that large signs be posted at all transportation hubs truck stops rest areas along the interstate especially Ted and thirty five bus stations, airports notifying, people what to look for and how to recognize human trafficking, and more importantly, what to do about it where they can call what they should do. Should they step in? Should they take pictures? Should they call the police a lot of people have no clue as to what to do about that trafficking exists as we mentioned for mainly prostitution. But that's not the only thing there's a lot of people being trafficked for labour, especially in the agriculture and construction areas and a lot of people are being trafficked as drug couriers to carry illegal drugs, especially across the border. The traffickers have a hold over these individuals. Of one form another usually they lure especially the teenagers with a promise of an exciting life at a glamorous life, and you can see all these exciting places or you can get protection. I'll take care of you. Sometimes they threatened to kill the individual or more frequently threatened to kill their family. And of course, if they are in the country illegally they threatened to cook to call immigration and get them deported. Another thing that supporters say that these signs will do is that there would not be human trafficking. If they were not buyers of human beings. So they won the buyers who in many cases are otherwise law abiding citizens. I just need a couple more workers to coven work on my job site that kind of thing realize what they're doing and realized that they are helping the cartels Morgan is crime organizations and kind of make them aware of the scope of this problem. One woman who was trafficked for eight years when she was a teenager. If you can imagine that lifestyle said, quote this Bill not only raises awareness. Potential large message to buy. Wires who by people at these locations that we are no longer a community of ineffective bystanders, and she said that she herself was trafficked and transportation hubs, and she said, I can tell you there were countless times I was trafficked in these areas, and there were thousands of missed opportunities for identification. So this is a crime a lot of people are unaware of a lot of people wouldn't know how to recognize it or what to do if they did see it. So this measure, which is certain to be approved. And we'll probably kick in before the end of the year. We'll put human trafficking right in our faces. So hopefully, we can have the same sort of awareness of it that we have of other crimes that we might see happening every day..
