"You know, let me say this about Christians sometimes. I get people giving me pushback and they claim that they're Christians and they're like, well, you always, you name call it Jesus name called in the Bible. It's calling somebody a viper, not a name, not name calling. It's calling somebody a hypocrite, not name calling, is making the declarative statement. I don't even know if that's a word, but it sound good. Making a statement to say, these people will no way into the kingdom of God. Isn't that a judgmental statement? Isn't that harsh to say? But our lord and savior didn't hold back telling the truth about these phonies. Because if he sat there and was passive about his statements against the people who are destroying America or not in our sense, destroying America has since trying to destroy the kingdom of God. And I would argue in our sense as well. Trying to destroy the word of God trying to destroy the kingdom of God. You got to call these people out for who they are. So that the youngsters don't fall to the trap and be deceived. And think that these people are in it for your best interest. They are not. The pharisees were not in it for the people of God's best interest. They were lost.

If he's, you know, off of socialism because the thing is that some people don't make as much money as others. And so they may not be able to forge a book. So why don't you give it to them for free? I'll give it to everybody can pay the lowest common denominator. Give it to them at cost. Therefore, everybody can afford your book. No, he doesn't. Of course he doesn't. "All right, let me talk about scamming Sanders. You know, these leftists, they are mentally ill or evil. They fall in one of those categories. Some of them the reason that they talking to act the way they do because they have a mental disability. If you're a type of person that struggles with cognitive dissonance and you can't even perceive reality and you don't even have truth rooted in your arguments and you can't even balance your perspective and agree to disagree with people, you have no basis for your arguments. All you do is operate in an emotion. That is a mental illness. There are some people that had what we call Trump derangement syndrome. People should have been diagnosed and treated for Trump derangement syndrome. And now this woke ology won't derangement syndrome or whatever you want to call it. These people are struggling with a mental illness. I really believe it's a mental illness. They can not, for the life of them, perceive how capitalism is a good thing. Although they flourish in capitalism, they can not understand how this country can be so racist. Although this is the greatest country on Planet Earth, and they know they just making this stuff up.

"Made a video about the Memphis police charges, height yesterday, and I put it on my YouTube channel. And some people are just completely stupid. I'm shocked at the stupidity of the average person, I think. Y'all are special. Just know you special. If you don't think you special or anything else, if you got common sense, you are a special breed of a person. I made a video about the charges just giving my honest opinion about the challenges that I see in some of these charges when it goes to trial. Some people are so ignorant that somehow they think that because you get charged with something you're going to be convicted of it. You understand that there's going to be a defense to these officers unless they all plead guilty and it doesn't appear that they've played guilty. So there could be a defense and O. J. Simpson did not get convicted of murder. I'd like to use O. J. Simpson as an example. Just because you get charged with, just because the public believes you should be charged with a particular crime, doesn't mean that when you go to court is going to end up being that way. And I told people like this from the very beginning, told people, and I tell people all these cases, I go and I evaluate what I perceive and then I evaluate what the law says and how it could be applicable or not in the court of law.

Black People Add a Lot of Value to This Country
"Know the interesting thing is that I am one of the only people there to say the stuff that I'm saying. And I don't say it because I hate like some people come to me and say, because you hate black people. It's like, no, I care because I think black people add a lot of value to this country. And I think that black people have a lot of things that they've accomplished already in this country and they had, you know, black culture, not the degenerate culture, but black culture is, you know, one of the best additions to America and there's a lot of good when I was growing up. There was a lot of good even in the hood. But just the BS overshadowed it. And a lot of people that had great talent, great, you know, they had a lot of things that could have gone for them, but they never made it. "I just want to address this real quick. You know, I can smell a rat a mile away. I can smell a rat a mile away. I can smell a devious person, a mile away. And I knew that there was some suspicious and shady about the Memphis police chief. I knew it. When you see a person going out and going on the news and speaking ill will against the police officers that are taking really no accountability. I mean, the first thing you say, even if you believe it or not, as a leader, you have to say it is my father that those officers did that, I'll take full responsibility. We need to work on our training. I did not have them equipped, and I did not make sure we didn't have people like this on the streets. I would cry if I heard a police chief in 2023 say something like that. I would literally cry. Because people don't have spines anymore. In the police profession and in woke America, they just don't have it. It's okay to say, look, it's my fault. I remember before I left the police department, I really wanted to be a chief one day. It was my goal, my passion, my dream to become the police chief one day. And I was really on that track. I had went back to school to get my master's degree because you need a master's degree to be able to promote past captain. I was a public information officer with like two and a half years on a police department. And normally, all of the chiefs end up being IOs at some point in their career. So, you know, for people that know about policing, there's a fast track, right? They fast track certain people that they think could be leaders, and they get you involved in these different specialty units, like public information officer, the internal affairs unit, units that some people would gawk at, they are pushing you in that area because that leads you to a leadership position. So they were really pushing me in that direction. And I believe I would have been a great leader. One of the things that I often said is that I'm going to always take accountability for my actions.

Caller: There Won't Be As Many Protests
"How are you doing, Mike? You look great on the Salem news channel. Thank you very much. All right. All right, now I will give the Memphis authorities credit for wanting to make sure that there's no riots or any going on in their cities. I would daresay that there probably won't be as much riots or protesting in such over this incident versus past incidents for this main reason. The victim was black obviously, but the cops were black, right. If the cops who did this to this 29 year old man were white, they would have already been riots and protests and all sorts of things going on across the country. They wouldn't want to have to wait for a video to repeat released. It would have happened already. And the truth of the matter is if there is any violence in Memphis or Atlanta or anywhere else in the country, it will prove that the effort to smear police officers and to disparage law enforcement, Trump's racial unrest or racial conflict. And we'll wait and see. I'm praying that there is no violence, but I'm praying always for a peaceful reaction. Peaceful protest is something we should all champion. Burning down a Wendy's because of a police shooting or some police action should not be supported in any way, shape or form and reasonable people know that.

"The police chief who has seen the video says it defies humanity. It's heartbreaking. Here's a report from Fox News channel sharing the details of all of these events that led to the death of 29 year old Tyree Nichols. Hours from now Memphis police are expected to release body cam footage from the night of Tyree Nichols death and authorities are warning that video will be hard to watch now. This all started on January 7th when the 29 year old was pulled over by Memphis police on suspicion of reckless driving. What we're about to play here is a recording from the police scanner from part of the confrontation. Listen. We got one more big run. Pull over. He's running around. We have one running on foot. He's fighting at this time. The nickels families legal team has seen the footage and they say it shows the 5 officers beating Tyree for three minutes. He died in the hospital three days after the incident. Now, cities across the nation are bracing anticipating the tape could trigger civil unrest with the methodist police chief giving this morning. This is not just a professional failing. This is a failing of basic humanity toward another individual. This incident was heinous, reckless, and inhumane. "Anyway, I was just wondering why you didn't put the rest of the what the prosecutor said when he was talking about the police officers. If you recall, he said that all 5 of them were going to be charged with that crime while all 5 of them didn't meet this guy. But there were the ones that were standing around. So they were complicit in his death. And if you go back in time and look at some of the other deaths that's been going around the country, there's a lot of complexity going around with the cops, and this is one of the reasons why people were talking about defund the police. You know, they're concerned about the cops that are so called good cops that are standing around and not doing their job. Right. Watching the buddies do their things, you know, getting a thing off and beating people, choking them out and whatnot. And the other cops not lifting a finger to do anything about it. Yep, I get that. Now here's the problem. Second degree murder is probably gonna, they're gonna have a hard time getting that to stick to all 5 of them. I agree. You know. I agree. But I agree. But it is, but it is, this goes back to the Derek Chauvin thing when he's got his knee on George Floyd's neck for 9 minutes or 12 minutes or however long it was. Nobody else did anything about it.

"Hey, Mike, I applaud your naivete for saying that you don't know why they're waiting till 6 p.m. on a Friday to release the video. But I think the answer is pretty simple. And obvious, actually, 6 p.m. on Friday, man. People got better stuff to do. We got dinner plans. We're going to a show we're going to a high school basketball game. It minimizes the impact of the video. Simple. That doesn't even come close to making any sense. And I bear with me here. Let me let's walk through this together. 6 p.m. on a Friday. All the evening newscasts are all set to go. That is prime. People are going out on Friday. If they do it 6 p.m. Thursday, sure. People at home. Let me make my point, please. On a Friday night, prime time viewing all the nightly newscasts will have it. It is going to be absolutely front and center. It's right before all the prime time shows on Friday night, Paul are you kidding me? I don't think they have time to go through it, Mike. I really don't. To go through what? To go through the video formulate their opinions in analysis and there's not going to be any analytic analysis here. People are going to see it and they're going to get angry and they're going to realize I think people try to get the most creative angle to attract the most attention to their opinion on the story. Shelby County D.A. Calls for Reform Based on 'Lessons Learned'
"I really do appreciate what the Memphis district attorney said. About this case. This is the Shelby county Tennessee DA Steve mulroy. And I think his words are very, very powerful. We all want the same thing. We want justice for Tyree Nichols. It's my hope that if there is any silver lining to be drawn from this very dark cloud, it's that perhaps this incident can open a broader conversation about the need for police reform. The world is watching us and we need to show the world what lessons we can learn from this tragedy. Those are really poignant words and appropriate and necessary. I agree that we should have a we could have a conversation about police reform. I am pro police, you know what I'm not doing this show. I spend time on Gallagher's heroes the fallen officer fund, which is our charitable foundation. We assist the families of police officers who have been killed in the line of duty because too many police officers are killed in the line of duty. We publish the first responders Bible, which distributes a King James Bible and a spiritual fitness manual to first responders all over the country. I proudly stand with police officers. But I don't think there's much dispute that 5 police officers shouldn't beat a guy to death. Now, I haven't seen the video yet. Most of us haven't. We're going to find out in a few hours, but I'm told it's really bad. It's really awful.

"Talk a GN five. A.m. and 98.1 FM is on CBS in the world. I'm John Baxter. Jeff Bliss is specific Watch. 20 years before Jeff Bliss hearing about the attack on New York and Washington. Where were you, Jeff? And what did you first think in these incomplete reports from the East Coast? Good evening to you? Good evening, John. I happened to be getting ready for a business trip that day. I was going to Sacramento to, uh, to see some business contacts and I went downstairs. Grab some coffee turned on the TV was giving the newspaper out in those days he was going on. And the T V reports were of this plane apparently had crashed in one of the World Trade Center towers. And I stood looking at saying, Wow, you know, that reminded me of my grandfather told me he had seen back in 1945 just after a airplane had crashed into the Empire State building. And so that's what came to my mind is right away. Of course, back then in 1945. It happened in a very foggy situation. Bad weather. And this was very clear. You can see how clear it was. I come from a fat, long fat line of pilots. And so I know it. Visual flight rules are and that was about his visual flight rules the day as you get. It was so crystal clear as I'm watching it thinking boy that had to be the worst bit of piloting or, you know, problem with airplane. The second plane slams into the other tower. And then it struck me right away. This is not a coincidence. This is on purpose. So I tried to, you know, get my wits together, and it wasn't long after that. That Reports came in about the attack on the Pentagon and the plane in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and that possible other attacks throughout the country and everybody was worried about and where I was looking at that time in the central coast of California, there's a nuclear power plant just up the street, literally from us. And that was the big concern is that would be one of the targets everybody thought would be possible was right there out on that parliamentary over the ocean. Easy to get to, they thought and so people were freaking out about it. But I didn't end up later that week, taking my business trip not by plane, but by car driving up Northern California and I was just taken by kind of what kind of ghost town feeling. Everything was so few people on the roads driving by major airports and seeing no traffic whatsoever. I didn't see some military vehicles here and there, but it was just a very quiet, somber time and just wondering what's next. York and Boston and Washington were the three cities on the East Coast. Most concerned, but L A and San Francisco Those were the destinations of the craft. And so there were lots of Californians lost. Jeff, Do you remember in the course of the day? Did you talk to people about what had happened and what it seemed? Did anybody make sense of who launched the attack before the president went on that night to make remarks? There were all kinds of you know speculation. None of us were experts hadn't really been engaged in a war and terrorism speak, Uh, but people were automatically kind of going there. What's what? What would make the most sense? Some people remembered the attempt to blow up the World Trade Center back in the nineties, when they drove a truck bomb under the World Trade Center. So people kind of put it together with that, although nobody was talking about an Isis or Al Qaeda or Taliban. It was just like, remember those terrorists who did that? Uh, but it was really you know, people that I was around. There were a number of people that knew people that were supposed to be on those flights or were working in the World Trade Center area. And so there was a great deal of worry. You know, it's not only got the no communication coming out of their area, but you have 3000 miles between us. In New York. And so some of those people did lose family members and friends while others had their family members escape or not even make it to work that day. Thankfully, so again, it added to that whole strange feeling was almost being like in a dream or one of those dreams. Where you keep slogging through quick, standard cement. You can't pull your feet out. That's the only way I can describe it because it was like nothing. I never felt before or since, and it just seemed to get worse as it went on, because of course, that The flights going into the buildings, and then the towers collapsing in all the mayhem and confusion of sadness that ensued after that, it was just horrible nightmares period. 20 years later, we must attend to the wildfires of California. Cardio and then practice then goes to class in between goes back the practice, then goes to their studies at night and has their tutor and get to bed about 11 o'clock. 11 p.m. every day. That's what I was saying. It's insane. That's exactly what you heard me saying that that the the academic load is on top of the full time load, and yet they don't receive any compensation for it. Right, and they tell them what subjects they can take, because if it's really if the academic Is to strenuous and gets in front of their commitment to the to the sport that they're in. They can't take that subject. That's wild, Absolutely wild. Yeah, so so they get they get the scholarship. But your point is, it's not sufficient. I mean, even with the scholarship, the demands on them are so extraordinary. That I mean, this day is really too long in coming when they get some kind of additional compensation. That's correct, because they they are not allowed to have a job part time at all. And we send them both money every month for food and other basics that the scholarship doesn't doesn't cover. I mean, absolutely insane. And you know you, you you You just imply a good point, which is also Why not give these kids something to at least get by? So, yeah, As far as the roof goes, you know, just be observant to what you currently do have and I'm sitting here looking at the at the storm tracking now it's 75 Mile an hour winds at this time. It's just a Category one as a five a.m.. But you know, it's Florida and it's the weather and it can change. So if it changes for the for the negative. Are you prepared, you know have have you listened to some of the things that Dan and I've said over the last couple of weeks about Getting your supplies, getting your water getting the necessary so that everyone else has an opportunity to get it. It's coming. I mean, there's no doubt it's coming. And if it's not this one It's going to be the next one. So the best thing to do for your roof is just be observant. Are you losing Granules? Have you noticed any type of odd? Ripple or anything up on the roof. That just doesn't look natural. Being storm damage experts. The best thing for us to do is just come out and take a look and see if your roof is prepared. Like Dan said. We're not going to come out and try to say something. You don't need that. That's not what we're about. We want to be ethical. We want to be honest and we want to be up front with you to let you know how to be prepared. So if you have a damaged, cracked pane somewhere, it's much like it so much. It sounds like a crack on the windshield on a car. A car has a, uh, polyethylene barrier in between that glass that keeps something from coming all the way through. If you have a crack or A little stress crack or something in your grant glass. Whether it's your door your window and we begin to get these high winds. It's not like that crack is just going to run. It can actually break loose income through the house. So you want to. You want to get these types of things looked at and taken care of, you know, Dan that that's kind of the same on the roof, too. So If you've got a shingle that isn't set properly. Or you've got some nail pops. Guess what? You've got holes. You're gonna have leaks, and then you may not even see it. You may not see it till 456 range from now and imagine the damage that it's caused on the way down through your installation, possibly growing mold. I know you don't want to breathe that and real quick, then on the windows, I mean, even if you don't have a crack in the glass If that space or is separated, I mean, because you talked a lot about that spacer, and I know that the material that I think it's are gone and nitrogen I think is what is in your windows. If that's gone and that space or has a crack in it, what kind of damage Because could the wind or the rain due to that? Oh, all kinds all kinds of damage. When that when that space or has failed, not only can you get extreme moisture in there once you get moisture inside of that window. You begin. Look, water in warm places is not a good thing. I don't care if it's a drop of water or a bunch of water bacteria, you know, microorganism things like that began to get inside these spaces. These are things we don't think about his regular homeowners. I know I didn't until I got into the home improvement business. Uh, But we're living in the world today where there's just so many allergies and all types of things. Hipness seems like something new every year, and so You know, Let's keep ourselves safe. Let's keep it up today, Dan. I asked somebody the other day at work. I said, Hey, is this supposed to rain today and they said it's Florida. All right. I mean, it's Florida.
