Biden Just Landed Us In A Big Hot Mess!

"Just when you think it can't get any worse for Joe Biden, what do you know it does? Americans are reacting to that miserable, awful disastrous press conference this week, and their reacting by even lowering their esteem for him even more. Let me share with you the results of the latest polls. This is actually a RealClearPolitics poll of polls, which shows for the first time Joe Biden has actually seen his approval rating sink. Overall, all the average of all the polls to 40.5%. Wow, and his disapproval rating is now 55 .3%. So more than half the country now thinks that Joe Biden is doing a really bad job. You know why that is? It's because he is. He is doing a really bad job. And you know what, you can only fake it for so long. Americans are not stupid. I keep saying that because for some reason, this team at The White House really thinks we are stupid and they think if they just say, oh no, he didn't really say that when in fact he did, like, you know, the bit on Ukraine, I'm gonna get to that in a second. Somehow it'll all go away, or maybe the team thinks they didn't really put out a statement telling us that inflation had gone down when in fact inflation had gone up. Food prices had gone up. I mean, it's wild to me. There's only so much spin, right? That Americans can take, because we know what reality is. We know what he said, and just to repeat what he said in that press conference concerning Ukraine talking about Putin Joe Biden said, and I quote, he will move in. Again, talking about Putin. He will move in, he has to do something. So that's being seen effectively as kind of a green light. The president of the United States just said, well, you're going to do something. And then they followed up the reporters amazingly followed up, right? Asking about the sanctions that he was talking about. And he said, well, it depends on whether it's a minor incursion or something bigger. And quote, it depends. Well, I'm sorry, you're now just telegraphed to the world that you're okay with a minor incursion, you're kind of anticipating expecting a minor incursion, you know, he's got to do something was the quote. So you've just gotten us into a much worse situation because you're not precise with your language, and maybe you're just not that smart, Joe

Tal Heinrich: It Was Difficult Finding Illustrators for 'Heroes of Liberty' for Fear of Being Cancelled

"I just find it odd that 20 and 30 years ago I mean I'm 47 I'm not that old but I'm old enough I've seen a few decades here Things like book burning rather figuratively or literally where we're considered heresy I mean if you remember the movie from the 80s footloose the book burning scene whatever it was right there where they throw in the books in the fire Even in liberal Hollywood the scene was used as a scene of mockery like oh my gosh look at these people they're burning books This is crazy And it was meant to be the conservative preacher in that movie you burned the book Now ironically tall it's the left you with a book burner said okay so granted they're not lighting them on fire but they're doing even worse I mean at least if you lit a book on fire after you read it you had the material in your brain What they tried to do to your books the heroes of liberty series is they tried to stop people from even getting them in the first place which I find doubly ironic The roles the left thought they had that conservatives were the big book burners are actually themselves the liberals 100% And you know what Dan it didn't really start there because even as we were working on these books and I'll tell you that it was pretty challenging to find American illustrators In fact we didn't find that we were getting illustrated to work with us on this amazing project And once you see our book you can go to our website that hears the liberty dot com and we also have a special discount code audience But you'll see the illustrations They are stunning And American illustrate was very apprehensive about the idea of illustrating a world Reagan biography because we're afraid of getting canceled because this is the prevalent Right now But eventually we work with illustrate wonderful illustrators from Canada and Serbia and France and the UK but now I guess after things developed the way

The World Is Increasingly at Risk of a Global Financial Crisis

"I wrote an article about how we are now increasingly in jeopardy of a global financial crisis. I wouldn't have said this before, but the World Bank, David Lopez, whom I've known for many years, president of the World Bank came out with a warning and said, numerous countries really kind of emerging market developing countries, meaning very poor countries. Have too much debt, and they're not going to be able to pay it back. You see, normally, the World Bank used to lend money, but, you know, hey, 2020, 2021, with all that cash in the system, in part, thanks to the Federal Reserve, all these hedge funds started landing money to a lot of these emerging market countries. And now the bills are coming due. And the rates are resetting because interest rates are going up, it's just like in 2008. Remember in 2008, the whole housing crisis, all these people got loans, leading up to 2008 that maybe shouldn't have had all those loans. I love the Nina loans. The no income no acid loans. Well, there are a lot of those out there at that time, and then as soon as rates reset, well, what do you know? People couldn't afford to pay their mortgages. It's the same kind of thing now going on on a global scale. All this money has been lent to all these countries who now are saying, wow, wait a second. How are we going to pay this back? I mean, we were talking about places like Sri Lanka and El Salvador. And so the danger is that some of these hedge funds, some of these institutions, probably the institutions that lent the money are going to stumble when they don't get the money back. And the fear is if they stumble, what happens to the individual little guy, right? The investors, the American investors, retail investors, pension funds that are invested in all these things. Did they then stumble? This is the domino effect that we have to be

Changing Priorities (MM #3956)

"The NASA minute. With Kevin mason, as people have been talking about the job situation, why there are so many openings, why they're so little service, and yet so many people looking for jobs, the one thing we found that COVID changed for almost everyone will have changed our priorities. People are now looking at their life and going, do I need to live a life differently? Sure, because kids have had to stay home and couldn't go to school. That meant do you go to work and pay for day care? Or do you just not work and stay home? A lot of baby boomers who could have retired at 62 or 65 or whatever number it was in their life decided to retire a little bit earlier than what they were planning. They didn't make it to 70. They decided to retire because they changed their priorities. The priorities of what we feel about life of how we live our life of what we want to do with our life are changing. Changing priorities because of COVID because of the world we're living in has changed our entire world. We used to want to live in a world where everything was available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we'd pay whatever price. Now, it doesn't look like we're willing to pay that price. We have changing priorities.

A Troubling Trend Facing the Future of America

"Girls age 27 and 30 living in California. I can attest to the fact that the supply of quality eligible men is in short supply. Not for the lack of offers. My girls are not married. But sure would like to be. Married with kids and WK. Is that what that means? I've never seen that acronym before. I would love for their status to change, but a whole bunch of men do not have the same goals, lack ambition and are looking for either a someone to support them in every sense of the world or be a good time no more. I see that a lot. I see the feminization of the American male, where the woman, the female has to basically babysit the man, you see in this Conor? And it creates super unhappy women and also women have to become masculine, that's what college does is it creates basically tells these women, you should go succeed in the corporate world and order to do so you have to become super masculine, which also means you're going to become miserable. I mean, just the way it is. And some women, you know, end up liking it. Most women don't, honestly, and the entire kind of trajectory that we have is one that unfortunately instills weakness in men and unhappiness in women. So the brookings institution actually wrote about this. They were left wing think tank. And they talked at length about America's electoral future, the coming generational transformation. Says demographics are not destiny, but steady and predictable changes to the electorate play an important role in defining the landscape of American politics. And it talks about here that homeownership is going down. That having children is going down and marriage rates are going down. That inherently creates a more left wing society or a more Democrat society or a socialistic society when you have 33 year old women with college degrees and they're 33 years old and they don't have children and they're not married. What do you expect when all of a sudden there is a political party that comes out and says we can reappropriate the money we can redistribute the money I should say? It's rather appealing. And this is something

"We knew that they were going to play for four quarters and we knew it was going to be a battle. And that's exactly what we got. That's what he said in that postgame. Locker room speech after the game on patriots dot com. So they knew that this was going to be a dogfight. They knew this was going to be a grind. And they were able to eventually get the football and run it in the fourth quarter. I think they had 47 yards rushing heading into the fourth quarter and then they had 53 yards rushing or 54 or whatever it was in the fourth quarter alone. So they really broke out the running game late and were able to break through there. So early on, I was a little bit surprised to see how hard the tackles, jobs were with the edges of the Titans defense, but again, I guess maybe when your coach by Mike vrabel is one of the best edge setters in patriots history. That's what you get, right? You know, maybe that's where those guys are getting coached up properly on the techniques and stuff like that of edge settings. So we'll see. A lot of questions in the chat about Mike on Wendy. We're gonna get these questions all season long when it starts playing some more. I don't know where they put them. We keep talking about this. I don't know where they put them. You know, Ted Keras has been really solid for them. He did give up a sack, but other than that was pretty clean in this game. And he brings a cerebral aspect to the position that they really like. Bill Belichick gave on Friday what a 304 hundred word answer. About an hour, Ted Keras being a center as translated to guard and how important that is for the team and for the continuity and the chemistry and the communication of the team and all those types of things. So I don't know. I mean, we talk about this every week. They like Keras better right now. They think there's a glue guy for them. They think that he brings a different IQ and dimension to that position that isn't just about who has the highest Madden rating, right? This is about deeper things than that. And I mean, you saw Michael and when he was getting the game last week too, like, he can still play. I wonder if at a certain point, it becomes a matchup thing. Like, oh, hey, Ed Oliver is not a big guy. Like, you know, maybe we want Michael own wendo in this game to just bully him out of the game and then against the colts with Darius Leonard. That's a really smart player. Let's see if we can get that extra center out that Mike alone who's not smart. But let's get that extra setter Senate eyes on the field and Ted carrots against the colts. Like you can match it up, hey, we know we're going to run the ball this drive. Let's get Michael and wendo in there. Like, hey, there's probably going to be blitz is coming here. Let's get Ted in there. Right. It could be as simple as that. It could alternate them. Also, I think Harrison might own one of the same mad rating. I'll check that. And also, I think that 6 O line packages coming eventually, right?.

"That's a great point. It's game script. If you have, if you have a lead and they have to throw it kind of like Cleveland, because Cleveland ran the ball on that opening drive pretty effectively, the Patriots were able to stop the run for the most part after that. But the browns weren't really allowed to run the football because of the score. Right. At that point, who knows what they would have been able to do on the ground in the fourth quarter, right? You have no idea. Right. So exactly. I want to I want to pull up this play. And there's a couple of things I want to point out. One of them is actually actually positive, right? So that's good. But I want to look at this play and I think that this is such a great example of what exactly went wrong with the run defense. So first and foremost, this is an outside zone scheme, right? By the Titans. So everybody's gonna step out and they're gonna turn up field or towards the sideline and they're gonna try to run this stretch action outside. So what the Patriots are gonna do against outside zone is they are going to essentially charge it up. So Dante Hightower right here on the play side. He is going to come into this combination block between the guard and the tackle. And he is going to force a cutback by the ball carrier. So the Patriots instead of and outside zone, you can either turn the corner, you can bang it on right off off the tackle, or you can cut it back. Those are the reads for the back. So the Patriots are going to force a cut back every single time on purpose. They want to dictate the terms. But what ends up happening? And I think this is where the Titans schematic wrinkles kind of come into hand and what they were able to do as they knew that the Patriots were going to fire high tower at the play side combo block and force that cutback. So watch the center and watch the tackle here over Devon got shot. What they're gonna do is they're gonna turn Carl Davis and gotcha outside. They're gonna turn them. And then they're gonna put this guard through to the second level immediately up to jawaan Bentley. So as we roll the play, you're gonna see the Dante hides our come downhill at the place I block, right? Here comes the downhill. So that's going to trigger this cutback. And you see the lane here. But watch the centers. See how the center has Davis turned out and see how God Shaw's held up here. And then you see that right guard being able to insert himself to the second level immediately. So you have Ben Jones, the Titan center is awesome. He turns out Carl Davis turn out here and then guard right up to Bentley. And once you get up to that point, you see the lack of resistance and you see the huge hole. So the Titans knew that the Patriots were going to try to force these cutbacks. And then they were able to block it up from there in order to get downhill into the second level. So what are the Patriots due to combat this? Well, I think the most important thing if you look at it is this climb by the guard, right?.

"And they're allowed to board to still run at full speed. And I think one of the things that you look at too on that play action bootleg, I think this is a great example of it as well. He hits Johnny Smith right on the money and allows Johnny Smith to turn up field and pick up another 8 or 9 yards after the catch. And the ball placement that he throws with consistently allows him to make these playmakers pick up yards after the catch. And we talk about this all the time with Brady. Brady, we always used to talk about this, how his ball placement would benefit his receivers and how receivers weren't fighting for the football. They weren't trying to contort their bodies or going low and diving to make catches and, you know, they weren't everything was on the frame, right? And I think a lot of times it was so many of max throws that timing in the ball placement is always benefiting them after the catch in terms of the receivers. And I think that that's a really important element of this game as well. So that's just going to say that's something he did incredibly well at Alabama. That was a huge part of Alabama's offense so it's not a surprise to see that. Yeah. I think it's ball placement spent a big part of it and you say you don't want to give Mac too much credit I will. Even when he misses, he's missing in the right spots. Like he missed hunter Henry, but he missed long, right? If he misses that ball short, it's picked off. Yeah. So you don't want to miss, obviously. But if you're going to miss, throw where nobody can catch it instead where the defender can catch it. It feels like what he's missed. He's like he's missed like he's not letting the defenders make a chance. Make a play on it. Yeah, it's really important I would say as well, just the ball placement is just it's impeccable sometimes. How easy it is to catch his ball, but also just how effortless it is for the receivers to then transition into yards after the catch. And I don't mean to bring this all back to Cam Newton. I hate doing that. But last year, we talked about this in the inverse a lot, right? Where we said, wait a second. That throws a little bit behind. That throws a little bit over his head. That throws a little bit over here. That throws a little bit over there. And it was torpedoing the offense, right? Because they weren't being able to pick up and run with the football afterwards. Mac does that. I remember a coaching clinic with Steve sarkesian and he was talking to a bunch of coaches and he was saying that at Alabama, their scheme is designed to throw to receivers that are moving, right? He didn't want to throw to stagnant receivers as he called it. He didn't want to throw the button hooks..

"I think after a game, like this one against the Titans, a lot of people come after the game, our postgame show included and talk about the negatives, right? And talk about some of the issues in some of the holes in the performance for the Patriots. And that leads to a lot of fans and rightfully so sitting back and saying, wait a second, they won the game by 23 points. They beat the Titans pretty easily by the end of the game in the fourth quarter. Their rookie quarterback through for 310 yards. Their defense shut them out in the second half. Why does this show sound like the Patriots lost the game? So that's why we made the title here today. Are these first world problems or did the Patriots have legitimate concerns that people are bringing up? And I think when we look back at the dynasty years of Tom Brady and those patriots teams, we often had similar conversations where we know what championship caliber looks like. We know a team that has it operating at all cylinders at a high level. And the Patriots on Sunday didn't look like that. They did not look like a team that was operating on all cylinders and doing all those types of things. The question is, first world problems or are you legitimately concerned about some of the things that you saw on Sunday? I mean, you know, allowing 270 rushing yards isn't great, but I don't know that other teams can necessarily the Patriots. I don't know if they can massively replicate that. There's certainly some things put on tape that other teams can try to replicate. I don't know how they're replicated. I think what you saw is a lot of what I kind of talked about on Thursday when you were trying to struggle to hype up this game as it might variable was going to come ready. Mike vrabel was going to come ready. He was going to have a game plan. He was going to give the Patriots trouble. And he did it for about three quarters. But this is kind of what the Patriots have been this year when they get these close games and they pull ahead in the fourth quarter. So I you know, again, 270 rushing arches isn't good, but I don't know that you walk away from that game feeling worse about the team. It's not, you know, they didn't beat them at full strength. I wouldn't call it their best win of the year. I still think the Chargers win was probably better as a better team, given what they had given with the Titans had at their disposal on Sunday. You know, they were on the road for that chargers game. You know, better quarterback, but I'm not gonna sit here and tell you, I think any less of the Patriots after that game, I think anybody who tells you that is just looking for reasons to be negative. That was a good quality win. And it goes back to something else I've talked about quite a bit. Good teams win games their way. Great teams can win when they can't win their way. And I think a lot of with patriots want to do the Titans took away on Sunday and they still found a way to win the game. So that's an encouraging sign moving forward in terms of mental toughness.

"Abrash in the comics you certainly come to side with him in the face of evil similarly with kali though sam had a great speech very effective a one of the best written for the show. Did you gain sympathy for carly after death. I sent me did little bit little bit. Was sam you know. I think he he phrased so eloquently that he didn't have a problem with her goals. It was her methods. That was the problem the way she was out. He literally in fact she was misguided which is exactly the point and ray continuing is still viewed her evil in the way she didn't consider human life and in brackets. He says she indirectly even says battle stars. Life was pointless very influence. She was a little bit of a sociopath that regard so though i very much sided with sam when he told off the senators i couldn't find the same empathy sam had for carly i think arro- was written quite opened down in that sense. I think we're meant to feel disgust. Then have empathy for her but it was quite a difficult thing to balance. I guess that's the point though. Everything isn't necessarily black and white. "He's not beyond redemption. He's you know there's something still in there. That humanity is still in there where he goes from now is going to be a good question. But i'm sure he's going to be played as a very shades of gray like character. Who got you must tool in character. Who could do some very moral things but also some variable moral things as well. Very tally stick like. That's a little bit. And and i have to resource few bad for the folks in the truck. They can have major whiplash by the time. The thing is over because guy being pulled back right back and there's no seatbelts things so yeah major backlash ver ver whiplash for those for those folks but at least they're alive exactly which all except for john walker so yeah but it was a nice little redemption. I hope that Eventually john will walk the straight and narrow depending on what vowel has him. Do but i hope that maybe at some point he might play a bigger part in the mcu. Because captain america annuals agent can coexist. We've seen this in the comets. They can co-exist exactly going to be very surprised if we don't see the us agent in the new captain. It almost makes me think of those days back in the comics when they'd shuffle the team like every two issues these guys and he was like who's gonna be. Who's going to be on the team. Now it's almost like you know your sports teams. They acquired today you know. What does the team looks like now. So that's very exciting thing for myself. It's right gives us something to look forward to all right topic number two. Let's carly morgan. Saw in the flack smashers and sadly as we hypothesized last episode curly. Very unpleasant faith. She did and she. Apparently you know she was going through a head going ahead with plan to hold the jc hostage to stop this. Vote that what it said. Millions of refugees back to their countries is in She's at the point now after various experiences in her proceed views of betrayal that. She's perfectly willing to kill the hostages. She in much to the surprise of her own Neighbors in the flex measures. So what did you make a starting to drag their feet a little bit so they were and then it. Just kinda like oh really. We're we're killing hostages now or we're cool with that. So she was so she's kind like had a snap back in line after they kind of did a little side i about it but But macari carly excuse me is she. Yeah she's going all in here and much to you know everybody's attempts share and tries to talk her down other for her own reasons. It also save tries to talk down once.

"To To know that he had come to that end that conclusion and now he's apparently get his own transitional stage in. We'll see where it goes from here. I don't know where he's going to go Guess he's going to be in the fourth of captain america movie. I assume side would certainly hope so. Anyway it seems came in and sama tight and we get that kind of its kind of the same. Yeah exactly ending with them kind of celebrating. I'm glad we kinda didn't get you know. For some reason in my head. I imagined substan- running through the streets like george bailey wishing everybody a merry. Merry christmas moving house. Yeah that's by jimmy stewart. I thought they close up. Definitely i think that was a very good. I could never do that. So yeah i was like okay. Do we get the george bailey. Montage apologies to rachel friend for Name checking it sort of life because we know how she feels about that movie. She loves that. Bill in rachel. If you're listening to hope you are sorry for sorry about that. And i hope that we will get more of isaiah moving forward because him and sam of really radi bone did yeah. We should talk about that movie. So let's set this up so all right. I just want to set this up. Because i i think it's worth addressing so afterwards save decides to go see. Excuse me isaiah again. And this is the third time and Is there interestingly enough. He get some little pushback obviously from alive once again and he has to say like boy. You need to check your attitude or something like that you know you gotta get might your maters and of isaiah. 'cause i i believe i call it. The black falcon is yes. I say it's like well. He's not the falcon anymore but he is sure his black so so Is area you know has come a long way now. He he feels that save is special than he kind of makes a joke. It's like well. You're not martin or you know mandela but who malcolm rock amac. Yeah exactly so he. He's not dr. Martin luther king malcolm x. or nelson mandela. But you know so. He's kind of give him a little bit of hard times to keep his ego. I'm guessing from getting too big. But but he does seem appreciative of sale. It probably more so is after that after a little discussion sam takes them to the smithsonian and it's a very it's one of those tear jerky moments that where you know here. You have isaiah who has been forgotten by history history you know. The the government essentially erased his history. But now let's to isaiah in july surprise. There is a statue of isaiah there at the captain america exhibit at the smithsonian big statue and life size in. You know sam tells makes a point of saying look you know you're not forgotten anymore and isaiah is just overcome by emotion to the point where he actually starts crying and he huck sam beautiful. You know what it kind of you can appreciate this chows and i'm sure the folks say this to next up everywhere. Very much vincent in the doctor moments. Oh yeah that's a great. That's a great comparison.

"Where he's just he's descending from the sky and he's cradling carly's body in that kind of very like supergirl pose Death after the death of supergirl. Or maybe even batman with jason todd in the death in the family that carries the down. And like you said he was very in djelic and it was a just a gorgeous shot of really loved. I thought it was just amazing and lit so well. Maybe look there were maybe with some religious images almost of the virgin. Mary cradling jesus if you will. Because that's the kind of osa was letting that kind of most hallowed way. Yeah it was so beautiful. That's why recruiting almost like the joy descended within a church. That's right yeah you know. There's the the great lighting and you kind of wonder how that played on television because one of the things that we see is that you this is footage being shown around the world so this is sam's debut it is being televised and so You know you see. That's their their first reactions. And you know even Even isaiah bradley who this at home kind of taken a little more about it. Even even after all the criticism he gave save about how a black man will never be captain america here. It is at long last. Made man captain america. Because that's why. I say my almost have that almost black savior overtones will when it comes to that because of the weight slit and he's anjelica wings but it was beautiful this i say that's why i think Carries called green should definitely move onto other bigger projects because she definitely knows how to get a good shot. Yeah exactly so. Let's see what else say. They are so many things addressed. So what else t. The bucky One of the things. I liked about bucky. Was you talked about his reaction To seeing steve. Seeings me seeing sam. You'd have to get used to that. Right seeing sam as captain america so i like the fact that you know he kinda gave sam crap it first. He's like you know. I wasn't really hit listening your speech. All i heard was a black man. And a captain in the stars and stripes and then they kinda tuned out because you kind of have to hide his emotions. He can't just say you know. I love you is. This is his bromance. We talked about this. They can't just come out and say you awesome. You killed it but you notice. After he did that he had very. It was very subtle but he says great job cap or something and he could pats him on the shoulder so he called so he called in cab and that's major praises from bucky who seems to have the emotional reach of teaspoons get the winter soldier to note. That says a lot for you. I think and very much i think made to bucky. Think about stuff we see later on with addressing the thing with your worry with leaving the little package for his therapist. What did what did you make of that. Because you know. It's something that you expressed concern that you wanted to kinda see that. Come full circle because we hadn't seen Gyory since the first episode. I was so happy about that. Because as i've mentioned in an episode five samad said to made the whole point of view. Revenging you're not atoning for what you're doing and i think that really stuck with bucky and seeing him as captain america. I think it really gave him hope of. I really have to turn my life around..

"I've got nobody to love me anymore. Will he. There are a lot of question marks when it comes to bucky. I will say this because sam. It's we know where he's going to some extent bulky don't know unless we see them get together saying we need to assemble a team. Now i don't know i don't know it's hard to say but i love this so so much this surgery and it's like i'm gonna find a buddy cop shows at just let you and it was so cool to see these two guys take it on the world's hopefully they'll be like okay. We need to combat. Just you and me so i. I wonder what happens at this point. And what are you. Thoughts on on the eastern. Well you addressed a number of points. I have no idea where to start. Because i just went. I'm starting to think. Oh yeah. I'm going to talk about this that You came up with another point and then another point another point so so i gather you know. I i love your enthusiasm here. You really seem to have enjoyed this episode. i did kind out. it's definitely coming through very you're very upbeat and i really appreciate that I'm right there with you. Honestly there's there's a lot of things. I i'd love sam stepping into the role. He you know he's very commanding but he also what i what i love about. Sam here is that he appreciates the responsibility. He knows it you know were said he he realizes you know he's he's a black man being coming captain america so he realizes he's aware i guess that's the where he's aware that the world is watching him and already scrutinizing right from the start so he realizes that his new role comes with a lot of pressure. Oh yes and he addresses that right off the bat they look. Everybody's got their eyes on me right now and they're already making judgments about me right now but but he knows this going in and so You know he's probably getting you know you realize it's gonna be judge in the way that maybe steve rogers wouldn't.

"The new cover identity. They have to laugh at this of jack daniels. I did not write this comic by the way i think. Maybe it was applauded. In fact. Ready johnnie walker is a whiskey israel. That's a great point. That's a great point. You had to think about that. But you're right. Johnny walker was he. Yeah exactly so. So johnnie walker had the alias of daniels for awhile and he did some speech therapy to essentially a recent old mannerisms of his to help hide his identity following the faked assassination. The commission soon placed him within the west coast avengers to serve as oversight as a condition of their governmental clearance being reinstated and he. What during his time with a group. He had a lot of friction with various team members. So and Interestingly he was a member at the time when You know the vision was essentially as we saw the events of one division was disassembled and rebuilt. So could this. New vision be recruited by set valentina lafontaine. Nine things. we speculated last week you recall that He's out there somewhere. Just this kind of Very powerful being. That's waiting to be potentially exploited by valentina but contessa so we'll see all right. so did you trivia. i came to me. Charles's you've mentioned last week about the comic. The death of captain america right and he. They might not suit as in. Sharon shoots at the end of this episode. Right because 'cause gras sharon does shoot somebody. It's not captain. America but she does end somebody so i wonder where that might have been a call back to the death of captain america comic where they actually did have sharon kills somebody. It could be. It could be or maybe that's yet to come so we'll see we'll talk about sharing. Obviously the what of the times we gotta we gotta talk about shared okay There's a lot of stuff going on all right so four topics today topic number one. We gotta talk this right off. The bat captain america in the winter soldier. Which i i don't know about you but i loved seeing that that title card.

"Be killed by the police. Go vague ear right in superheroes which in the marvel comics. Superheroes is reflecting the world outside your window because marvel likes to say. Hey you know. We're the convicts company that addresses these kinds of things where you know. That was one of their big slogans back in back in the day that staley liked to consider marvel the the world outside your window and so when when these tv shows these marvel comics tv shows. I might stress are doing that. I think that you kind of need to appreciate why that's happening. And if you do have a problem with it you need to. I think probably should do some self exploration about why you have that problem. I'm right with you. I do think some so searching required from these individuals who feel this way not to mention if you want. tv shows to be more sophisticated russia's the way you go if you just want to kind of ignorant dumb kind of series of people fighting yeah slice. Vela's slugfest exactly. How do you expect this genre to move forward to be recognized at a higher level if you don't su dress like this also. I didn't think they were particularly preachy. Either i've seen some breaches shows. Believe you me you and i actually to knock on tangent charles for you and i watched penny dreadful city of angels right and you felt that was excessively preachy. A little bit a little bit. I know that there's some criticism of supergirl because that's show can really get up on the soapbox down then blatantly so but here i mean this subject matter that was addressed. Here you know in this episode has been addressed throughout the previous episodes. Exactly it all. This is just a culmination of that. This is where it's brought to. Its climax in the story. And you know. A very transitional. Moment for sam wilson so. I don't really get you knew that going in. Why are you suddenly so upset about it. Now unless you're just upset that again that a black man is captain america. Now i as i mentioned. I just think it's people being bought sore about where everything's been happening..

"Yes so that was nice to have that little bit of continuity throughout all these episodes because they look great in thought. She did a great job at direction in this series. Oh so well paced charles this. It was amazing how quickly this episode possibly by in the sense that just the action packed there was emotion and everything was addressed and tied up so well. I take my hat off to this. Kind of finale. Didn't few clunky. It didn't drag on and you got a little bit of everything so definitely kudos to it just carries for room for sure. And hopefully you'll get more and more projects and bigger projects. 'cause now we've seen what she can do right so hopefully she will get more more work to do when it comes to the mc for sure nice if she got a certain movie yes which will talk about this. I'm so hoping they do give her that. I think that would be a nice little bit of continuity if she she took over the next captain america movie as we learned in going to happen so we told you so if you remember last week so seeing is she ushered in this new captain america. I think we'd be only fat disney to give this woman. Yeah johnston the movie. I think she proved it. I think she proved she can handle it so here. We are the final episode. What else was your general reaction to this. Because i gather you enjoy the finale. I thought you appreciate that wrapped up a lot of loose ends like you said yes. Was there anything else that your actions regarding this episode look. I don't think you could have done any better than this. Because i suppose you possibly could have done in a second post credit scene teasing future movie. That didn't happen. But i'm still satisfied because maybe unlike one division waited. Leave a lot hanging threads hanging out. It didn't really. It was may because some people can see it as a cop out. I think this was less of a cop out. In the sense it concluded the yard. It said here is where we're at. The objective was to be a coming of age. Show if you will or the next era and they accomplished that so there was nothing. I felt unsatisfied about the only thing that was unsatisfied. About was they were anymore episode. I'll happy about it. Chose did you have any nitpicks complaints. When he came to this finale. Though i mean i was trying to read some of the online reactions to this and unfortunately there's a segment in. I kinda knew this was coming given the subject matter in this particular episode. There's a there's a contingent that obviously hated the idea that this was this episode is bogged down in. What they they feel as he'll woke miss. It's the politics of everything in in trying to understand why people for whatever reason think that a hero named captain america wouldn't have any kind of political connection exactly it comes with the territory right right the name america..

I didn't really have people face stayed. The nights house were lost in the woods and I gave him sleep. They inspired me. They were adventurous so so I thought Oh okay after hearing all their stories.
