Best Practices for Growing Your Audience with Facebook's Kristen Freethy

"It's important to remember that facebook and instagram opera. Many different approaches to growing your fan base and increasing engagement. I often get asked. How much did i be posting. What types of content. Should i be posting so i want to dive into the best ways to take one piece of content and stretched across all of our features. So i you're probably wondering where should my podcast live. The great thing is is that business completely up to you. We highly recommend leaning in creating a dedicated show page. This will help with certain discovery as the product evolves. Keep in mind though. That pages looking to host podcast. Do you have to be ninety days old to start that process sooner than later. If you haven't established host or network page those are still great options to lean into the following best practices. Keep in mind that one podcast can only live on one single page but one facebook page can have multiple podcasts. If you are a network you can have your full catalog living on your page so understanding your listeners is key to knowing when to post and what type of content to lead into. Oftentimes podcasters will make the mistake to focus on only the top and bottom of this funnel trying not to treat base bekker's purely a promotional vehicle instead bring people along for the ride create posts that asked people questions look s. You wanna hear from next. What topics are you most interested in. What surprise you in the last episode What did you like the best. The more you get people leaning in and engaging with your content the more chances other listeners will discover content. There are a few types of content that we've seen work the best for podcasters lean into facebook and feed to hit posts around your research in preparation as well short highlights or audio clips of your episode. I'd recommend aiming between thirty seconds and three minute long three minutes long for any video or audio clips that you post reels in stories are great for behind the scenes moments and quick. Quick touch points. Remind your fans of a new episode dropping or a special announcement coming up

How Far Can a Plane Glide Without Engines?

"In nineteen eighty three a perfect storm of technical issues and unit conversion mistakes left an air canada boeing seven sixty seven without fuel. Some forty one thousand feet. That's twelve thousand. Five hundred meters over central canada before long. It lost power to both engines after descending rate of twenty five hundred feet. That's seven hundred sixty meters per minute. The pilots were able to glide their boeing all the way to save albeit bumpy landing on a race car track. The pilots were hailed heroes and the airplane was dubbed the gimli glider after the town where it landed essentially any plane can glide if the need arises and in situations where all the engines have failed. Pilots have to expect the plane to do some gliding. Without the thrust those engines are built to provide. The plane can't help but lose altitude but how far can a plane glide when it's not designed to be a glider aircrafts whose engines conch out at higher elevations can glide for longer periods of time. This is one of the reasons. Why shellenberger and skulls hudson river landing was so impressive. They had to glide their way to safety and a matter of minutes from a pretty low altitude. Everything happened very fast on. Us airways flight forty nine fifty one. The plane hit the birds within two minutes of taking off and just three minutes later. The plane was in the hudson river. Obviously planes come in all shapes and sizes. So if you're flying one it's important to know your vehicles. Best glide speed in a nutshell. This is the speed that will let your airplane travel the farthest distance while sacrificing the least amount of altitude. A related concept is the minimum sink speed or the pace of travel that will maximize how much time you can spend gliding depending on your situation. You may choose to prioritize time over distance or vice versa

James Clear on the Imortance of Building Good Habits

"What attracted you to the idea of habits. Why did it resonate with your audience. Well they're probably multiple reasons. I mean one thing is you're building habits whether you're thinking about them or not. Garrett body is doing brain is doing all the time to get through life and pattern matching into just live more efficiently depending on which study you look at somewhere between forty to fifty percent of. Your behaviors are automatic and habitual. But that's usually referencing just stuff that like you think about like Brushing her teeth. You're tying your shoes or pulling your phone out of your pocket to check it. And i think the true influence your assets even greater than that you know who knows what the number is. seventy eighty. Ninety percent of your behaviors are either habitual or influenced strongly by your habits. So take for example. Checking your phone. I mean you could be standing in line at the grocery store. Just you know waiting for something of an extra peanut three minutes and you just kind of out of habit. Pull your phone out. Will you may think carefully about responding to that. Email that you're reading or you know a whatever you're reading on social media or playing video game but that menu of options the behavior that you're following was all shaped by the habitable your phone out so the our habits have a very strong influence on our lives and they. They're very wide reaching their impact and in a sense. You know what many of us most of us want is some form of results in life and almost all of your results are downstream from your habits. So you know pretty much. Every outcome you have is a lagging measure of the habits that preceded so your weight's lag measure of your nutrition habits. Your bank account is a lagging measure of your financial habits. Your knowledge is lagging measure of your reading and learning habits. Even little stuff like the clutter on your desk or you know in your living room is a lagging measure cleaning habits so given that were building habits already. And they're going to be part of your life whether you think about them and given that the results that we all say we care so badly about s- Are strongly influenced by your habits. Adding it makes sense to dive into the more deeply and understand how they work so that you can be the architect of your abbots not the victim of

"Liberals on even though it can be annoying at times, because I think it exposes the failure, their ideology and They won't do that to us because they're uncomfortable with their own ideas. I mean, Ilhan Omar is running away from critical race theory, claiming We're not teaching it. We don't run away from our ideas. But I was really spinning during that segment because I knew what he was saying was false. You doubt me? Jeff Bezos Going to Space on His Company's First Human Space Flight

"He and his brother will fly into space. In July, they will join the highest bidder on the new Shepard suborbital vehicle operated by Blue Origin. Joining us now is a BCS Alex Stone, who has raised his hand to cover such events. I will cover it, but I do not want to go on it. Even if you said Hey, we've got a free seat. I would say, You know what? Maybe put 100 of these happen. Let's see what the fail rate is first and then and then we'll talk about it. What does this mean? Well, first of all, didn't he sound like a big kid in there? I just always wanted to do this. And you know I'm worth 187 billion. So why not? I can kind of do whatever I want to do. So what? The big announcement today Jeff Bezoza and his brother going to be going on the flight. Bids for that third seat are right now up to $3.2 million is what we're looking at, and we've got until June 12, so probably going to go higher than that. But the flight is going to be of the new Shepard on July 20th. And he has invited his brother and blue origin. Put out the sound of that invitation when he asked him. Hey, you want to go along? I really want you to come with me. Would you? Are you serious? I think it would be meaningful. My brother there Here is, if you're willing, if you want to, Yeah, like you want to go to space with me like, you know, we'll just kind of going and so it's going to go that you will launch from Van Horn, Texas 100 Miles east of El Paso. The capsule has massive windows, even amazing view that you'll be buckled in until you reach the edge of space. You're not going to go into orbit. You will go up. Reach the edge of space float around for three minutes. You can take off your seatbelts, float around for three minutes and then begin coming back and the parachutes will deploy. Total flight time around 10 minutes. You go up, You come right back down, and then that will be the experience, but it will be the first humans in blue origin aboard the blue origin space craft. They've done 15 successful test. Humans haven't gone up yet, And this will be numero Uno. So Bezos and his brother, they seem so

"Both have some nuance. You could probably make. You could definitely make a credible argument as to why that did not fit. The definition of white supremacists insurrection. You could easily make that art just backed by facts. What what what are we talking about. Was there an insurrection. Was government erupted. Who was killed. Who on what side was killed. How many cops were killed all these things any. You'd be hard. You'd have a hard time making that argument but once it's labeled wants to push out there. And then you uninformed citizen you have to decide who who who cited you. When i was arguing with michael cohen about it. Not being an insurrection. He was going insane. Yeah he was screaming at me. Wouldn't tolerate it and then you have to be prepared to be called the denier. Oh so so. It's a good thing so nothing happened at the capitol hill. Yeah that's not my when you go back to the georgia belts exact same thing. There's some arguments this way and some arguments that way but everyone just packed up and left. I see i was talking to one of the infectious disease. Professors from university of california san francisco. Who was talking about covert and all the the similar kinds of craziness around cove. I mean comes to find and she goes. You know in two years will look back on it and we'll be right and you know the people will look back and understand it was crazy and hysterical and we see all the horrible excesses and things but but it will take two years cove is another perfect example they just said here's here's what we're doing and if you said well i want to see some data your murder. We're we're locking down. We're shutting schools. No outdoor dining. You go along with that or you get put in a group and nobody wants to be put in. That group feels capsized. By the way behind. You found your video by the way. I texted it to so we can watch it later. He's so proud of himself completely on his bag. Yeah yeah maybe we can play the first three minutes of it or something like that. If you've got it it's interesting. I don't know who put together where came from just listened to it last night and i found it to be interesting. The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute unin visible government. Which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed. Our minds are molded. our tastes formed. Our ideas suggested largely by men we have never heard of in almost.

And i thought how that was done where we see. Monica ram bows return to the world and seeing the chaos that ensued depicted in such a a very authentic way. I thought um connected to the story I thought it was one of the better sequences we seen in the mcu in years. Fillmore tv there money putting the screen. You know i. "Well, the first three minutes, the blues look good, and then all hell broke loose for the next fourteen minutes. I'm sure the ice contributed to because they were just uncharacteristic giveaways. I don't know how much was nerves and then would Bennington did. Oh my God. Yeah. We've seen the chicken pick my. Well, he just sees it. He's able to he could just he sneaky, man. He's he's Gumby. But yeah, we're we're all watching that, first period up in the press box, which Boston's like a shit hole. Sorry. Sorry, not to sit in a new race dump and the worst place built that they'll look trust sucks. The media, like where the building actually random. It's at least you go up the sneaky ram. Out of the puck in place. The so upstairs three deep looking over everything, and I'm right next to all the players were all standing in front of all the media, the players had nowhere to sit. It was just a cluster fuck, and, and so they were getting peppered so bad, and I'm looking like Bill Bill Armstrong and all scouts and everything and all the players and it's just like every the emotions amplified because you're you're around the guys are going to be hosting this thing or not hoisting, and deal with it afterwards. It was a weird setup in a world. But they got freaking peppered in that first period. And then they go down at score dirty going. I mean I don't I think they had only had one shot up until yes, the O'Reilly goal disa- tip. They, they cleaned up. They go down there. They go kick up to the point kick it wide throwing the front rows go go and tip that bad, boy, where I three lakes now too, because like son of been, what does that do? The Boston bench. Absolutely deflate was even worse was the goal second goal with Marchand right here. Seven seconds. I'm telling you right now. You always talk about never letting goal in the last minute, let alone the last ten seconds, especially with how Boston played that period and had that one and that one was seven seconds. They went into the dressing room the second pair goal what? Yeah. How did this how did this happen? How are we here right now? And this never get back on top inner he was there. He was a force, and he's my concert, and even retin, they didn't even threaten the rest of realized they gotta go, but they didn't even like it was the analogy. I've used a Floyd. Mayweather fight in the second and third period, it was just like it was just like a point system. It's just like okay, you're going to do this. We're going to try again. We're just gonna counter, and there was just nothing. They are you bore. Yes or you come out of what we're going to keep it simple and do this. We'll him in a little bit and do this. But we're not gonna get too crazy knows gonna try to one on one toe drag. Like I did this morning times. That no one's which. Tarasenko was getting the puck deep so that they had come to hundred feet. Yes. Core goal. If you hit mattering they had nothing they were still in the tax. They're still aggressive. But if they had nothing inside the Blair part, they're part of the red line in Boston's blue line. They got that puck deep. They did a good job keeping away from Toco he can play the puck. Well, but they made the Boston Bruins come two hundred feet per every single time, and that's so hard to do so hard to do when you're trying to generate some some momentum and some some energy for your team, and your great transition team and your great on the attack have to go all the way back, don't pick it up trying to perfect road game when you're up by two perfect. They were awesome and everyone all second goal because there's highlight reel of the Tarasenko to Shan is sick. But the Petra Angelo goal with seven seconds left. Sealed. Exactly. Exactly right. Stop the game cash their chips. And when the moment happens and the boys are jumping all over each other, and it's now official the Saint Louis blues have won a Stanley Cup your experience. What, what were you doing? What were you thinking? What were you feeling what was going on? Each one of you can't wait to hear. Well, I you're on the clock. I was there with, with Rene not Franken everybody while I was up there doing the some waiting, and I'm looking down from the press box, and I'm seeing tro with the sparks in the background hoisted, and I'm like, and it was my son bizarre on price before. But I don't care reminded me of two thousand fifteen N H L two thousand fifteen when I went on career mode, and I take the blues and I always stack I made my own character on there really Genesee. They're not really know PlayStation. Fordham whatever I would I would win because I. I haven't played since Sega lettuce at the end when you win stories to same thing. Like I been there you there. The chalice. But that's what looked like. And I'm like this isn't real. It wasn't real. Now it is. It's, it's kind of we've been we've always the Cup and stuff. But at the time, I'm like this is fake. Look fake. I did you get a motion? Yeah. I did do Braehead like a job to do. So I wanted to kind of, like, you know, I still get on TV there. I'm like, I, I got to be somewhat normal. I don't wanna look back on this. Oh my God. I'm so corny. You know, I wasn't emotional this vis for cams a little different for me. He was working and I was drinking. But for me, I didn't become a sailor's blues fan until nineteen Ninety-six. And I've learned the history of the blues and what they've done and haven't done through being part of the team. And being a part of the lung nine whatever else for me. I just want I was going to stay at my house, and then my buddy Tim that owns top shooters. Got these golf, simulators, I'm like good looking chicks. Oh. No, they don't get looking too. But I'm like you can watch TV thing. He's like, yeah. I'm all right. Said at table up balking off. So we get there. He had to sign mate, read lows hosting party. He went all out he Larry's he's the best guy. So anyways, I'm they're my family and some friends. They're hanging out drinking. You know, we're nervous. I ten minutes and these guys are coming out fire and then the two goals and everyone's freaking out the bars pack we're going crazy. And then it starts to dwindle down times going, and, you know, you're going to win it, and I'm watching that last fifteen seconds. As the camera pans back and forth, the bow the boys are starting to jump up and down on the bench. I get shivers thinking like this is going to really happen like the blues good with the Cup of than they did. And then I just stood there and just kind of took in the way, everybody was acting. And I'm just like, man, you know, for me, somebody that's only been here for part of this organization for twenty five years, and, or twenty three years, and for all of these people that are in this bar that have been wanting this moment for their entire life to be celebrating it for me. It was cool just to stand back and watch the city that I love celebrate. Maybe one of the greatest for me, the greatest sports moment and say Louis history, the, the reaction. Is and it saying something, and I'm not I don't think it's prisoner. The moment, I don't think in ten years old go, God, I can't believe I said that the reaction to the blue Stanley Cup went in two thousand nineteen I've can remember to cardinal world championships. Two thousand six hundred eleven too. Young for eighty two is greater than the cardinals winning the World Series in a city like Green Bay with football. That is synonymous with baseball. It's the hockey team that brought out this kind of emotion. You guys have any, I mean you wore the note, do you have any ideas to why you think that is, I think there's more hockey fans and you think too, I really do and maybe not hockey fans, but blues fans, I think people grew that grew up here, whether they go to a ton of games or not. But they still understand what the blues of gone through perhaps an in story in how the ups and downs and a lot of downs a lot like dreadful down, and whether they're big fan or not. You're still part of that living in the city. So I think everybody kinda came together on that whether you're a huge blues fan or not. You're still part of it. You. Still seeing what organization has gone through for so long for so long and then the build up in the way it happened just it just was perfect. I mean I mean it wasn't it wasn't. We gained six perfect. Okay. Maybe but game seven is perfect in my mind because it's just never that easy, easy for organization and never has been. But I think just the city as a whole came together. And everybody understands the journey that this organization's gone through to get to this point. And I that's why the reaction wasn't the way it was. I think when you look at the blues and the fans they've always kind of been the secondary love because the cardinals have been here forever. This is a baseball town, but it was a, it's a huge secondary love and whenever the blues weren't doing what the fans want them to do. They always had the cardinals in two thousand six in eighty two thousand six and two thousand eleven they they're always competitive for a team that's you know mid market, deem. They're always top. They're always challenging for it. And I think when you take a look at what happened with the blues. It's, it's a little bit more. The fifty three years. Both the three loss in the standing of finals, you know, Boston, you know, all the things that happened with, you know, the Jack's club night warriors, and then just the coaching change and a team coming together. Yeah. Leyla, you know, you take a look the last time, more Branagan played was in Boston on January or July something two thousand four and the blues that a chance to win in Boston, you know, so many years later, and I think it's the story that comes along with it. At think it's the fact that there was zero belief halfway through the season that this was actually going to happen. Never happened in hockey before. I'm not even sure if it's happening sports to be that far down. And so it's just that story and, again, the blues fans have been let down so many times, and there was multiple different opportunities for examining let them down again and it never happened, including shitting, the bed and game going into Boston and winning again. Just made it storybook and made it, you know, something like you said, they're going to write movies about this thing. They're going to have TV shows about this thing. And so that's for me whites the greatest moment in Saint Louis sports history. Just because the way that it all happened the way that all transpired. And it's something that these fans that their little their little differently saying. Blue's crazy crazy why they love the tough guys. It's a super I'm super excited for everybody in St Louis that gets enjoy this, because, like I said, it's, it's unbelievable moment, and I'm still kind of like, wow, this really happened we got we were able to to benefit from, you know, some of the gory to toy making out of the Cup. Do you know whatever I I made made Cam, out with? I know that a little, I took a c-pack afterward. The first time that Mike. Kate witness to this your shoes. Fine with that was on your list. And shannon. Look at you like. Joined the hell out of it was great ship. The fact that you felt like you I was going to have to get in the middle of it. And I think that would have gone. Well, well. Really get at it all the consummate this on. I loved it. Great shit Camry. Thank you very much shit. So there it is. Cam, Janssen, read, low little that I know as we wrap that interview up gangster, Pete was emotional gangster, Pete. You are in the home, loan expert dot com studios with me. Because he he's one of those guys if you tell them, look, I'm playing you until you fall out. File out in five minutes. You know, he's he's he's trying to learn. But he's taking awhile. Let's go to Allan in Brooklyn, Allan you're on the fan. Hey, hey, what's going on? Okay. Coat. You think you're just might give Kareem hunt. A second chance. That's a good one. I mean, keep hearing the bears with him. I think would be the better chance for just but. I'm surprised you. Are we talking about him coming back? So soon. That'd be a tough one jets. I can't see the gets going for that. I just don't seem like that type of team. I think it's too soon. I mean, can we give it some air and see what what what else comes out of this or? In this day and age of of videos and cameras. I remember going to baseball games. They will tell you don't, you know, like, I remember I think it was HBO used to do a documentary where they would take home movies of baseball players you bring your super eight or regular eight movie camera to the game. And you got some you know, what he's doing so before, but they you know, you now. Guy comes up funny used to see all the flashes. Go off the various games like football games. Super Bowl stars. And what's that first shot? They show all flashbulbs going off and the whole stadium. Now, you go to a concert you go to a game. Everybody's got their phone out. And the filming it. You know, if Derrick jeeter was walking through Penn station. Why would be doing it? But if he did anybody would with back to camera, and and take pictures of it in time put it on put it on the internet. And look what I saw. Back in. I don't see the rest of bring him back. That's why it's it's interesting. We're talking about athletes. Well, did he have numbers? Yes. Was he jerk? Oh, yeah. That that eliminates them. Think about it. It's what are they gonna talk about Mariana? Great pitcher, great human being. Lancer be helping people, you know, and and that's that's not on the stat sheet. There's not a box that just. Here's his numbers. This is EMMY save this is how many appearances this is how many World Series championship. This is how many postseason awards that type of thing is not a boxer says, you know, was he did he give away money. Did he help people was he kind to the, you know, it's. Yeah. You think about it? You you you come into the league, bright eyed and bushy tailed you finally made the majors. Now, you're trying to be successful. Remember he start. He was a starter. It didn't work out. He put them in the bullpen and the rest is history. By by the time, you're nineteen th year. I mean, how many tally been asked the same question about whatever, you know. It's like, oh, I got to answer that question again. That's. That's just the way it is. And some guys roll with it some guy's idea. They don't say anything, they'll give you quotes. But it's it's not what you want something a little more salacious? You're not gonna do that even thinking about who they are brand. And all that kind of stuff. You know, it's nice to see guys would just nice. Who understand what the press has to do? Now, the press ten some dumb ask questions. Sometimes. Oh, sure, we all do. Sometimes let's get the reaction. Sometimes you just weren't the question wrong. The guys having a bad day the explodes and everybody remembers that. But.

"Next on the list is nine hundred ninety seven Royal rumble where you and I watched the nineteen ninety seven Royal rumble. And we talk about I guess would we watching that as like watching it, and then podcasting or we watching it in real time and doing sort of live reaction to it is it available. It's on YouTube or anything it's not only with. We could definitely get. We could get a people give us their w w ripe like how many people have that could watch a long. Oh, okay. So I think it's the ninety seven Royal rumble is probably vailable on on YouTube. It is okay. I would guess and if not I mean, we couldn't sort of play it. But I do think we could is on daily. That makes sense. If that's in the the full of what's this very annoying thing on YouTube now that we've found. We're watching these shows, and we're trying to give people links the YouTube video where the show is in like half the screen or it's on like a fake TV in the video. You know, what I'm talking about incredibly annoying. Those. Quality. How about this? Do you want want to? Describe the first three minutes of the nineteen Ninety-seven rumbled to see if this is the thing or not like right now. Yeah. Do you wanna do a dry run? Let's do dry run right here. So I'll let me let me put the delaying. Let me send you a link. So we watch the same and we'll both be looking at the same time. And we will be talking about what's going on at the unites ninety seven Royal rumble. And we'll see if if this is working or not, and then it could be a whole, oh, this is the two thousand seven, but that's even better. We'll do. One thousand seven no, I sent you to I don't know. So I'm sending you. All right. This is very confused. But now, we're like spoiling the podcast. Maybe we should do the first three minutes a two thousand seven I don't know what's going on at the two thousand seven Royal rumble. But you wanted to what you tell me what you wanna do. Why are we like biting into the podcast, or should we just there is a podcast? That's true. But like now, but now we're make sure there isn't one. All right, fine. Let's watch the ninety seven I three minutes. Yeah. Okay. So all right. So let me know we'll we'll start this up. Look look for nineteen Ninety-seven Royal rumble on Google with there is like some Arabic text. Also that was in the description of or in the result. Okay. So let's go ahead. You're supposed to play at the same time or you tell me when I am zero ready go. Okay. Okay. Here. We are. We're going. We're zooming in on the ring. And who's that in who's the ring announced what's really in Howard? What feinman? His name. But they don't they never get the buffer brothers. Right. They never got be. Tonio? I think they might be. They might be because he said sixty thousand there was very few statements back then that could fill it on. I think it is probably in Santa Tonio. All right. And we're seeing some shots at the crowd here. This guy is in a vest going nuts. Louisiana loves Bret hearts. They must be in some way in Louisiana her still alive for them. They could be you could drive Antonio Texans. Okay. So. Wow. So elmo..

"An assist on that final goal for Louisville city cans The hat, trick clinching goal against New York red bulls but it interesting to see Luke. Fresh off of injury, he actually just apologize team for what he perceived as playing poorly coming. On in the seventy. Fifth minute against New York red bulls. Last week but Luke is going to be making the starting, lineups so be interesting to see, how him and can't play off each other tonight yeah and you don't get a whole lot of, instances where Cameron Lancaster in Luke Spencer both start the ball game. So it'll be interesting to watch at least from striker standpoint you think Louisville city is. Pretty, well good to go in this ball game but like you said and like we mentioned in one. Of the earlier segments is Nashville Nashville SC pretty. Good defense that's exactly what I was gonna say I think that you see that just because of the starch the, starkness of this Nashville defense they've got. So much talent and they are kind as lining up with three center centrebacks excuse. Me Justin as they know what Louisville city. Is all about as well so it'd be interesting to, see how Checklist plays out over, the succeeding ninety minutes so both teams have made their way onto the field. The ball is in, the center circle it's going to be Louisville city starting out with they start. In their purple. Jerseys the white letters Nashville comes in. And the gold jerseys with the dark blue lettering along the, back so pretty easy numbers for, us to read tonight Kevin can't complain absolutely not as we have kickoff here as Louisville. City just, like I said is going to start out with it we'll see. How they pace things here early on Echinacea getting I touch laying back to Davis So many times in soccer it's about time of possession and in the beginning of the game. Is where you can establish time of, possession although in the US open Cup game that's a game that got scary towards the end of. That Nashville really started to control the tempo and now when they had a couple of really good shots, to try to not that thing back. Up it came right down to it didn't it. Was very end to end stuff is national they did get one back in the sixty eight th minute after we had gone to a previously almost clot one back there at. The death on a couple of different. Occasions so here comes Louisville city towards us our side of the field is it's going to be a takedown inside the box is a, good opportunity there as it was number, twelve Luke Spencer had a foot on it but. Couldn't quite keep coming together with. Valley Berge why didn't he is. Now city there's now giving away possession already not something you want to see. As Berge while. Getting a touch on it now Louisville city like I said coming towards. Us as we're up in the press box here in Louisville slugger. Field just at Galen alongside Kevin Garnett, about a minute into this ball game tonight regular. Season USSL matchup as Louisville city. Now in the middle of the. Field trying to work towards the goal majority of possession already so far for. City Cut towards the, middle good save by George Davis sliding it. Over to a teammate across in as. That's going to be a little too far. And skirt. Out of, our that was attended for Nile. McCabe on the far side of the post but couldn't quite hit his target interestingly enough I was Cam that served that one and I thought. I recognized it but I don't, normally see him that far he was right up against the touchline they're on the right side of the pitch so. Interesting interestingly enough that's where we're seeing him lineup, tonight is Luke, as we've already seen as been straightaway announce striker as it looks like, throw in is going to be awarded here to Nashville after that misplayed Cameron cross in. They tried to take a goal kick. Their as Matt Pickens at a ball, in his hand kicking down the field I thought that looked a little funny Come on. We started here it's still with Nashville As, they advance it up to the mid. Field line the local city waiting there for it see if they can't. Work it back to this side. Of the field good ball. Along the right. Side that's George Davis Davis trying to cut back towards the metal looks for a man. He beats one defender gets a ball in and had Cameron Lancaster there but Lancaster. Unable to get a foot on it making a around to, the boxes Cameron, and almost cut Ron to the front of that one and that's. What he's so good at making those right runs at. The right time it's almost there for Cam just three, minutes into. This, one just three minutes and, but you've gotta love the aggressiveness of Louisville city thus far they've definitely been the aggressor early on in this one they've controlled possession through the first three minutes making good Chris passes yeah we've seen hardly see them throw the ball away, to something they could be guilty of. Previously is now we're seeing work down the right side here as there. Was another ball attempting to get. To the middle Rightness curse with the commentator, never fails. Never, fails as said we talked about it at with coach John Hackworth what he's going to bring to the team is energy and we already see that manifesting itself here in the first five minutes of his reign Nial McCabe with it on, the left. Side of the field trying to work towards the middle. Big switch entrepreneurial here does go all the way across the Kyle Smith who goes back Louis city is absolutely dominating possession but natural not mind this. One bit as their organization is what they really. Hang their hat on the scary. Smith organized team is going to do well to defend. Against. This and not allow this penetrating passes although Lewis cities, are experiencing a bit of success you're working around the right side here's George Davis with a now on the. Right side yeah if you. Think back to that US open Cup game it was very similar to how this one's starting out at first half global, city controlled time of possession passing I was a good pass they're trying to get it into the box by Luke Spencer It's a short intermediate passes where Louisville city is earning their money here as they turn it over game boys. While they're on the ball. Caning it back to the Gaza and now I can Yoda Going to go the, left side of the field Echinacea on it He's got his hands full fighting off Cam as they do. Find a read now we'll city almost looks like they're taking a. Fence, losing Paul yeah it's been in a front here as the way they're taking their part. In the. Match, very physically indeed putting challenge in in all parts of the page here as even throw ins are being contested at for the city team and speaking. Of throw ins that's exactly what Nashville has right here right around the midfield line far side of the field Five minutes through this first half of play And the fourth meeting, of the sour mash soccer bash this season we'll the city. Has been the winner in two of them we did lose that one up in early may, or excuse me down early may in Nashville It's on the ball trying to get. One in but it's blocked out of bounds I believe that's going to be a throw in It is actually going to become the first, corner of the match you go. So this corner brought to you by Cattlemen's roadhouse KOMO earning that one they're against. Oscar the wingers the counterparts they're. Going at it as just near the end line as it does go out. For a corner I of the match so far I believe it's retaking, this one it's always hard to see. Those, corners down there you can never see the guy taken, the corner as it's going to be a good ball in but, headed away by Louisville city it's gotten its way back to read now another good ball in another. Good head away thereby. Louisville city dangerous, as there, has been. A fence in the box against I'm not sure some sort of city defender as that will be. The first foul of the game Cards stays in the pocket Yeah that's just one of those where you. Get into the opposition's box referees is going to call, a little bit closer new extend. Arms or anything like that it's, gonna call it pretty closely so fairplay to the referee, tonight who by the way his name's Ramey to Sean Ranjit Singh plays, the goal kick short as Louisville city working their way, back up the field now Dial McKay would had her, it's back.

"Exactly what you're going to do versus what your conference upon its do so i anticipate some of these teams that had better success than non conference will all of a sudden regain a little bit more their form so it comes down to channel in your emotion i five minutes of the game how do you come out how do you settle into your rhythm settled into who you are you allow your opponent to disrupt or take away what you do best option one option two of your offense let's not panic if we're down ten early this is a long day those are the things that are gonna be important right now because i've been in this situation before as a starter for ucla i don't remember the first three minutes of any of those games bridges completely just like like your hair's on fire because you want to make right i is interesting with ponte's this goes to my man over there devon devon goes to you the thing for the bodies is this all right they won last night they got their turnovers and they scored jalen adams was atrocious like atrocious like he had two shots the one big one was towards the end but that's gotta make me feel actually good going to play florida now because florida's a team by the way that at times has struggled getting back and defensive transition one of the things i saw last night out of bonnie's was they continue to push and apply pressure the score maybe wasn't as as high as you would have thought but they continue to come down hill and be aggressive and attack that could cause some problems for florida so you've just gotta be who you are and be the best version of who you are cal says that stuff all the time right talking to kentucky be best version yourself now is the new thing is conquer yourself right if you conquer yourself you can go ahead and play free and i think that's the big thing you wanna free your team up this time of year you've been on record of sean farnum is with a saying that you didn't think syracuse deserve to get in clearly intensive second answer look at notre dame should have been in over syracuse.
