Israel tensions ease as Netanyahu pauses judicial overhaul
"Israel's political factions opposed to embattled prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu had begun setting up negotiating teams after he paused a controversial overhaul plan on a pensions legislation. Netanyahu has acknowledged the division's roiling the nation, and has announced a month long delay for the legislation. He says he wants to avoid Civil War and would seek a compromise. He spoke after tens of thousands of people demonstrated outside the parliament building in Jerusalem, but compromise appears elusive as the standoff remains over the fundamental issue of what kind of country Israel should be and positions only appear to have hardened. US Strikes Iran-Backed Facilities in Syria After Drone Kills American

Now, this was in retaliation for a drone strike that Iranian forces conducted earlier in the day on a coalition base that killed one American. Now it was a. UAV crashed into a unoccupied whatever vehicle, but they say it's a drone. All right. Because these drums are huge. Did you see that like when I think of drone? I don't know about you. I think a drone, I think of that little thing that all the kids have at my husband because he's a child, has and it flies up with a little three whirl or is on it and you put the batteries in and that's what I think of. These things are huge. They're big. The one that Russia took down of ours was something what was it 40 $1 million for the cost of that thing? So the Defense Department said that Iran's Islamic revolutionary guard corps crashed one of these drones into a building near in northeast Syria. Dave Rubin and Trish Discuss Biden's Drilling 180°
"Joe Biden just did like this huge one 80 on climate. I mean, excuse me, is this the same guy that sat there in the debate and said, absolutely no drilling, no drilling. We're never going to drill on federal lands. And now, what do you know? He's got his willow project up there in Alaska, $8 billion with ConocoPhillips. I mean, look, I'm all for it because I think you need as much energy as you can possibly get it. It was kind of foolish to wind up in the situation that we're in in Ukraine without having a backstop of U.S. energy, but this is not going to go over well with the base in his party. Now is it Dave? Well, it's so interesting because nobody really knows what Joe Biden believes anymore, right? Like, so when he said the no drilling thing during the debates. It's like, okay, I get it. You're playing to the base on that one. And you'll probably moderate when you're president. Now that sort of seems like what he's doing in this case. But who knows what he really thinks when it comes to climate change? Does he honestly think anything related to any of this or is this that the inmates in essence are running the asylum? And every now and again, it gets so crazy with the progressives that we're going to have to completely destroy the economy and the name of AOC's Green New Deal and whatever else they're trying to push on us and the ESG stuff and all the diversity and equity stuff. Every now and again, it gets so wildly out of control that whoever is pulling Biden's strings, whether it's doctor Jill Biden or whoever it is over there, whether it's Barack Obama or who knows, they somehow get him to moderate just a tiny bit at moments. And that's what this one strikes me as. So of course we can not completely abandon American energy. We should have never been doing it in the first place. I completely agree with you. I mean, we should be drilling more and more. We should be really the planet's number one exporter of this stuff. And instead, we are constantly just kneecapping ourselves. And, you know, unfortunately, that's just consistent

I saw hardworking people and saw what they go through and just wanted to ensure that i could try to make other folks lives a little easier. I'm moved to la in one thousand nine hundred eighty three for the first time to work lived in la eighty three eighty four eighty five. Amer coming to california then and it was very much a dialogue and very much. A part of the culture was migrant workers. California was the great state of the migrant worker in shaw. There's and all that legacy in the central california now in northern san diego county you have a migrant worker or labor community correct. We have small family farms in san diego. When i say small family farms say have somewhere between twenty five and fifty. Maybe up to a hundred farmworkers. So it's not like the massive farms that you have in the central valley but we do have small strawberry fields flower fields in farm workers. Or your father worked correct. Your father worked in the strawberry fields migrant worker community by large there. It it's less migratory if you will it's more farmworkers who who stay there but they're immigrants primarily from mexico and they often stopped a made their homes in north san diego county in san diego. County have avocado groups as well so my father like like most of the workers even today his father was settled so it was part of a program during the world war. Two tin sure. We had enough farm workers. They brought individuals up from mexico to work the farms at substandard wages and sent them back home and my grandfather's. But i also my father after hearing the stories also wanted to come to the united states So he came. He started in the strawberry fields in san diego county. I ask because and you say the preferred word migratory workers not migrant correct. Well there's different They're considered immigrant or migrant workers. But i sometimes people think of probably in the eighties and there was a time when we had workers who would come and they might work in the fields imperial during certain seasons and then migrate north and work other seasons in the pistachio or almond fields. And so they would travel throughout california and all the way up to washington for the apple season and that was a little bit different than what.

Now things are picking up again. I went for a day out last week with the kids. Went to a place called southwell to country park kind of a a normal times. They do some more sports. They are but of kayaking and that kind of thing. It was quite busy but it's basically a big lake with a campfire at one end. You walk around the lake critical big pipe up there for the kids and it was a beautiful day again so that was good run and just working out in the gulf rainy trying to get ready for summer two in doing that today. "Anything about that but those who were definitely by far my favorite. Yeah i do. I will say this though tori and miguel. I didn't like too much. Because when he talks about toray yet notice in season two. I think it will season two from non mistake and he showed it a video that he really wanted to show the sam because he is very bombed out about it and because her and sam had that little conflict it kind of backfire. Because she used all in. All of this is stupid. You shouldn't do it don't be. She's yeah she really did. She really did it for her own. Good and it backfired on her and now she hates sam's goods. Because i'm like you kinda did it to yourself. Do adhoc need to be together. They could be like sydney and nancy and just crazy in aaron together. I thought they were going to happen though. Not gonna lie was kind of expecting taurean haute to get together for some reason because their scope fast. Well we we go on and on. "Mine would be obviously crease by jesse given for everyone. Also don't my car he just starting Like trying to start drama when it's really not necessary. Yeah yeah he was. Just a big bully. That i didn't like it. I would also agree about hawk to you but okay haley's yeah always look at shows with teenagers through the lens of like being a teacher like at my kids in my classroom. Who would who would i despise the most. So honestly i gotta go with. Dmitri is one of my least favorite like like a got that. He's the nice kid and he's the innocent one and whatever but like he is so incredibly annoying like with. I'm gonna come in and be like. I know you guys are in karate now. Let's play dungeons and dragons around like go away. Go away. It's messed up crease. Like punched him in the face and he should probably be in jail for assaulting a child when he starts just like mouth off decrease. And it's like. I love personal space and then grabs creases arm. Kids about two gay laid the f out. So i and why he. He probably shouldn't have hit him. Doesn't want to shut up. And and then i would also say. Robbie is one of my least favorite characters. I think i. I didn't like how i felt like robbie was got in two zero specifically to like piss off his dad And you know. Obviously johnny hasn't been a good dad. But you want to talk about miscommunication man johnny lake. I swear every time one of them tries to reach out the other. One does act like a douche bag. I don't know but but yeah. Robbie i'm hoping for some sort of redemption with him but he he i. It's hard because the show from the gate makes you cheer for johnny and and makes you come into the story seeing things through his perspective and so i felt the pain that johnny felt when robbie turns his back on him. And that's you know. So so i think that's that's why i was soured on robbie as a character. I think that the communication between robbie and johnny i'm robbie and johnny would probably improve if johnny had freaking cell phone again all my god man. He's got us know how to freaking work his cell phone yet alone. You don't facebook plug it computer. Send it to the internet. I love when he first gets the internet. He like goes in google's babes. I i think hot babes for me or for one. You know. I have to agree on a coal crease was definitely by far like number one on my list and then there was a there were a few debt. You niles Like their character. But it kind of you know rubbed off on me. I want to particularly Will have to say Sam little love triangle. Because honestly if she would just you know what. I mean just i get it. That mcgill was drunk. You know what i mean. So i'm looking at it from both sides but if she would have just came right out the gate like like at least Once they got to the beach yoyo let me let me explain. Like what was the reason behind it you know. She calmed down holding his hand. Like no you about the bump into this guy like down the only a little stuff like that like just common sense. But they're teenagers. So you gotta look at it from their perspective. Yeah like you know what i mean and dmitry you know he was definitely annoying..

"This is like subaru random. And i just thought of it like while we were talking about johnny lawrence but it was Season three when robbie steals the minivan from the lucille. I'm car dealerships and literally like the finale of season. Three will not the finale but more so in that same episode kind of Johnny takes the mini van and drives off to find robbie by himself without daniel daniels like i want that minivan back at my auto shop and then like at the season. Finale johnny is still driving the minivan. Get that minivan. And i just notice it at his apartment when parks car I don't know why i just died. Laughing hilarious dude. Johnny tries to pawn the minivan so coney it then what else. I don't know. I was laughing actually at a lot of scenes. I just thought it was really funny. How they did some of the things and that honestly the karate. Sometimes i'm like okay. This is so like when they're at the louisiana house. I don't know if this is the like end of season. Three finale end the cobra kai versus eagle fang. And the yagi do. They're all at delivers housing. All the kids are just fighting. And i'm a this would never actually happen in real life like twenty thirty kids at one house just fighting. Yeah yeah saying that was really funny to the actual karate moves. It's like okay. This is not real. But oh yeah. I'm totally with you. There are so. I have a question which character you dislike the most. It could be one or it could be multiple. I know from meters a view that i was starting to dislike in and they started to rowbotham me for a little bit for the good. All let you take on this one. I honestly think that hawk has my least favorite character. Because he's just such a shirt and like i don't know he's just so mean to dimitri and i'm always. That's your bro man. Right be so mad. And i will say that i in season one and two really liked robbie and i even like when salmon robbie were starting to flirt. I was like yes. I love this but like season three robbie like he's i don't like him as much as i used to like. Get the you know what's going on. And he's he's god. I feel so freaking bad for him like this guy. I'd like the toughest lifer a teenage boy. But yeah i don't know. He's not quite my one of my favorites anymore..

"Is he gonna go get the mohawk person with lots of tattoos. That's not how tattoo ink. You can't just like color over the red like i'm going to have a yellow. Let's just fill it in with yellow. Now it's not like a erasable coloring book. I don't know that's gonna wonder about the symbolism of the color the not to be all star wars again but like we know the blue light. Saber is the jet. Ira and the red light. Saber is the fifth and hawk. When he died his hair read. It was like he was fully committed to the dog. The editing side. So who knows. Maybe maybe in the when he does get redeemed. Maybe he'll end up with a green or purple or thompson. I absolutely love it. Green mohawk the green ink on top of the red ink on his like a muddy brown mohawk tattoo. But that's fine. He's not taking off his shirt in front of his family of. What were your favorite parts. Nicole i like the who won. I think it season one like watching literally two days so the season juror Almost together right now in my head. I think it's because it's a scene with cuyler and it's wind. Miguel beats the crap out of him in the cafeteria. Oh yeah i feel like. That's just like the start of cobra kai yen that whole stops. That's probably one of my favorites in them. Also my other favorite is Win asia isa. That's asia. Yes thank you When her when she's like guy that have an idea and they throw the party. Yes before What's her name. Move and your cannot. Yes yes. I think you before they get there and then he has like what the heck this is supposed to be my party like. Well sorry we got here. I like yes. You show that power. I loved and i agree with like the wind. Miguel was in. The cafeteria was able to finally defend himself. And i really liked season one. Miguel just kind of coming into his own and then finally being able to like kick ass in the end. Well i shouldn't say finally. It all seemed to happen pretty quickly. But this kid's really good karate. Oh my god. And i got a little nervous for miguel. In season two. I mean they kind of hinted towards it end of season one when he shows no mercy to robbie and hits him in the shoulder but i was like no my peers. Sweet boy miguel. Can't you know. I really didn't want him to become like a big jerk. And you know you kind of see the hints of that going down. So and i mean. He was literally kicked on his ass and he was kicked over the railing..

"I guess we try to watch a lot of just like standard christmas movies and things eventually. You see the same ones so many times true. And i wanna watch more like seventy s and eighty slasher flicks. So that was my entry into slasher flicks and i watched the mandalorian season finale. Oh my god haley did you watch the Laurean oh yeah. Oh yeah i cried. I bob like a baby and i had. Because we're we're all in arizona so it didn't come out until one am. I stayed up so that i could watch it so here. I am sitting on my couch. Whatever one forty five in the morning sobbing idiot but it was totally worth it. I oh my gosh. I agree okay. Mandalorian spoiler is even though it came out like a couple of weeks ago and three one. I thought they did a good job with the luke. cgi like. i don't know. I've talked about the difference between the marvel. Cgi when they age characters and then how star wars seemed to be kind of behind on it when they d age characters. But i thought the loop one looks pretty good. Yeah i thought. I looked pretty good. I mean you could definitely tell that it was. Cgi looked kind of similar to like a video game. But i also understand why they did it on. A lot of people were like. Why didn't they bring in. Sebastian stan or try to recast it but the thing is especially in that moment. It needed to be absolutely clear that that was luke. Skywalker shot someone else. Who could vaguely. Look like luke skywalker. Mark hamill in some way right. They didn't have a choice other than other than to use. Cgi so i thought. I thought it was really well done. I loved the the hallway sequence. Darth vader's hallway sequence in rogue one. Yeah i mean then. Removing his helmet to say goodbye to grow go on. He takes off his helmet. I get chills. Says starting pedro vasquez. Gosh but yeah. I loved it and then we started watching immediately. After that christmas day the disney gallery like the behind the scenes of mandalorian season. Two came out so we've been watching that too and that's been really cool to see how they do so much of the show. 'cause i just i don't know i always take that kind of stuff for granted and i'm also pretty technologically illiterate like. I'm still amazed by vhs tapes. So when i say how they're doing all that. I'm like dang that's really cool so i remember watching that. With game of thrones After the finale aired it was like a behind the scenes of how they made everything and just being like that they don't get enough credit to like the people who actually put together this stuff and the sets and everything. Just there's actually three separate actors who play the mandalorian which is pretty cool. Yeah. they've got so brendan wayne. Who's john wayne's son. Dan he's the he does all the gunslinging. So anytime mantos in a gunfight. He's doing that. And then i can't remember the other guy's name but they've got a double. Who does all of the hand to hand combat. So he's a trained martial artists so he does all of that and then Pedro pascal comes in to do the the lines in the actual acting although he does a lot of voice over two so yeah scenes. Yeah man those guys they just got to go throughout their whole life like knowing that there are also the mandalorian but they get to go to a grocery store get stopped that in their head into laurean..

I wanted her to pick ivan or ben. i'll deal like ivan us ivan. She sent him home for religious reasons. And it's like he's your top. Three new didn't talk about this type of stuff to do it till marriage or something that i don't know they didn't really go into detail. She was just like a religious charges different. So i'm gonna have to send you home and he's like okay. This is like totally out of the blue thought. We were cool but yeah she chose zach and now she's living in new york with zach. Is that cute. that's what matters right. Think he's cute. How many seasons of the bachelorette have there been like a thousand. Oh god yeah. I think there's like i don't know what the off the top of my head but i want to say like around seventeen seasons. She's time. I see a commercial. Because i saw the commercial for the new season of the bachelorette and i was like or the bachelor. The new season of the bachelor every time. I see a commercial on mike. That's still on. Yes okay because people like me who actually sit down and watch. I'm looking that clark right. Yes yes yeah. He wasn't the best looking guy on the show. We'll just say that. I wouldn't like kick him out of bed free crackers. Maybe i would crackers in my bed. He's gone he's out. I'm looking at it more now. I've never seen an episode. Either haley but i get all my updates and i read up on it so i can provide important commentary like is he cute boy montaigne might actually be on the bachelorette next season next season but season after next season right. Monte yes season after next Yeah we're still taking in consideration. So i still keep in contact with him. So we'll we'll see what happens since it's twenty twenty one. Hopefully you know. Things are somewhat back to normal. You know with this. Kobe thing in the bubble in all that. So we'll see how everything turns out. So i'm really trying to beat a bachelor honestly. I'm really not trying to like beyond the roster of competing needs to be like. I need to make decisions on girls after you. Okay now saying. Oh we're not even gonna say all because it makes it sound a little arrogant and that's not what this is about. So i just like me like competing like that front line..
