A Prayer for Gathering When Relational Tension Is High
"This holiday season, even if you don't know what precautionary measures to take when it comes to your family's relational tension, commit to praying before you gather. We have a very real adversary who is committed to destroying families. John tintin. Saying hates to see guys children enjoying and worshiping God by gathering, rejoicing and celebrating, but Gaia's given us victory over the enemy. And we need to fight back with our spiritual weapons, while remembering our battle is not with flesh and blood. Ephesian 6 12. The Lord's Day is Near
"Chapter one verse 15 for the day of the lord is near upon all the nations. So what's interesting about this Bible book it's really only one chapter is it is specifically focused on God's judgment coming upon edom, which is the nation made up of the descendants of Esau. Think distant cousins of the Israelites and we see edom mentioned at many different points and prophetic books in the Old Testament. But here in obadiah, the focus is pretty much entirely devoted to God's coming judgment upon edom and we get to this verse and verse 15 where it says the day of the lord is near, but listen to the phrase, not just upon the edom. The day of the lord is near upon all the nations. This verse, this Bible book is a reminder to us that all the nations, all the tribes, all the people groups of the world with all the languages in the world will one day stand before God as judge. Including our people group, whoever we are, whoever you are listening to this right now, the day of the lord is coming where every type of person from every place in the world will stand before God to give an account as judge
Not All Gloom and Doom for Conservatives
"Jen, I want to get your take just right off the bat. Obviously, what the heck happened yesterday? And your opinion? You know, after I think I went a little apoplectic. And then I just started laughing like a crazy person. It's all sort of like settled in now. I think. You know, I don't think it's as bad as the mainstream news media is setting it up to be. It's really funny, Carl, because if you listen to everybody on and I do, you know, as our friend Larry elder says, he watches these MSNBC and CNN said we don't, as you guys don't have to. I've been doing that today to see what the other side is saying. And they are gloating and they're talking about the red wave that never was. But a few reminders admittedly, I'm disappointed that the House of Representatives is not the landslide that we all thought. I predicted that Republicans would probably get up to about 225 seats. That's probably not going to happen. Maybe close. But it's a slow trickle of results. That's the disappointment. But when you consider what has happened across the board, the Senate map was never favorable to Republicans in this election cycle. It was favorable to Democrats. And the Republican Party created so much momentum that we actually put the Senate in play, which is why we started hearing the conversations in the first place about the red wave. I mean, think about it. Lee Zelda may not be the governor of New York today, but the fact that he got that close in the state of blue is New York. That's amazing. And then in my home state of California, what's been awesome to watch is in congressional races for the House of Representatives throughout the state. They've had, they've had districts where they've pulled money from the Democrat, and they've had to put it in other races because things were looking so bad.

Dinesh Reviews Biden's Desperate Last-Minute Appeal
"I want to talk about Biden's speech last night, a last minute pug nation and to many people desperate last minute attempt to save the Democrats in the midterms. And how do you save the Democrats in the midterms? Well, you can't save the Democrats now by pointing to issues. Biden has no record to run on. He can't say, well, listen, I've done a great job on gas prices. I've done a great job on food prices and on inflation. I've done an excellent job with the economy. He tried some of that, but it was sheer misinformation. At one point, he goes, Gauss prices were $5 when I came in. No, they weren't. And by the way, Twitter has started running some fact checks on Biden. Last 'cause it's a forest. Normally, these guys get away with the most outrageous lies and they're never fact checked. So it's kind of a reminder that Democrats that they want content moderation. This kind of cuts both ways. Now, a Biden speech, even before the speech, they were putting out the word The White House wise. We're going to be defending the democracy. And the press secretary was asked about this. And she said, yeah, he's going to call this out. We're seeing an attack on our democracy and the president has been very clear. We need to protect our democracy. We need to strengthen our democracy. And then someone, one of the reporters asked, well, are you saying that it is against our democracy to vote for a Republican? And this press secretary is unbelievably dumb. So she was like frozen, like the deer in the headlights. But then she goes, we're talking about maga Republicans, maga Republican officials who have been then she goes on to talk about the big lie. And so on, well, wait a minute. The maga phenomenon is now the mainstream part of the Republican Party. This is well known people who Trump endorsed are more likely to win the primaries. So in a sense or answer the question is yes, because who are the non maga Republicans? Well, I guess you could say Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney. So basically what the Democrats are saying is we want to control opposition.
Houston cops seek shooters in Migos rapper Takeoff's slaying
"The shooting death of rap star take off was a shock to the hip hop community but he may not be as familiar to those who are in to wrap his report on why his death has resonated with so many Take off was just 28 when he was shot to death in Houston but AP entertainment correspondent Jonathan landrum junior says he had already carved out for himself a fairly rich musical legacy He's not known as will as much as quavo and offset He has done a lot on the music and he was really looking to prove himself Take off was the youngest and most laid back of the trio Migos made up of him his uncle quavo and his cousin offset but while the other two got attention with high profile collaborations and celebrity stuff take off did his talking through his lyrics His new album only built for an infinity links done with quavo was designed to help him get more respect for his rap lyrics but now with his untimely death it only serves as a bitter reminder of what might have been A Moscow's Gabriel album
Karoline Leavitt: Very Appreciative of Endorsements Including Trump
"Won a huge, huge victory in the Republican primary winning 34.4% of the vote. Your nearest competitor 25.2%, you have earned endorsements from a number of big names in Congress including congressman Jim Jordan, who's about to be on the program a little bit later today and also senator Ted Cruz, and the big kahuna himself, former president Trump, how big was that endorsement for you? Well, I'm pleased to have that endorsement. I'm pleased to have the support of the wonderful leaders that you just mentioned and we are one unified Republican Party now heading into this November 8th general election. I'm really humbled by the outpouring of support I've received from the party, but more importantly from voters, not just in New Hampshire, but across the country. We have a grassroots war as they've raised more than $3 million since launching this effort and it's all come from a great people across my state and across every state that recognize we need change. So we are welcoming everyone on board. It's proud to have worked in president Trump's White House. We have a lot of forever trumpers on our team, but they surprise you. We got them never trumpers on our team as well. That's what this is at stake in this election. Dire consequences over the past few years are really driving people to our movement and I know we're going to win and we're going to see a massive tidal wave. A red tidal wave take over this country on the November 8th.
Chris Stigall: Why John Fetterman Raised $1M Following Debate
"Schumer on the tarmac says the debate didn't really hurt the Democrats in Pennsylvania. You know, I will say it was a big fundraiser. For federman, something like a million bucks, he hauled in after that performance. And listen, here's the reason why they're running a campaign. I call it the shriners hospital for kids campaign. The sweet kids through no fault of their own who have been born with disabilities. Call now and you'll receive an adorable love to the rescue blanket. The difference is, John fetterman is a very unhealthy man who has a pacemaker who has suffered a severe stroke. Many medical professionals suggest he's likely to have another. So I think he's a bit of a ticking time bomb. He was morbidly obese, lost tremendous weight to his credit. But he's not a healthy guy, okay? So let's just get that on the table first. He's not a pitiable guy. He's not a healthy guy. I'm wearing this blame him all for the stroke, but it's just a fact. These are facts, okay? Number two, he's a lay about. I mean, the guy's done nothing professionally his entire life Todd until he became a lieutenant governor and sponge off the taxpayers of Pennsylvania. His family is independently wealthy. He spends 32 K a year to send his kids to a private school called Winchester Thurston. I'm not making that up. Is that like from Gilligan's island Thurston? No, that was Thurston Howell. I'm sorry. I apologize. No, but it's the same kind of waspy sounding name, isn't it? That's right. So yeah, this guy, he's a fraud. He's a fraud. He's accomplished nothing. He's paid for nothing. And now he's a ticking time bomb who can't communicate without a machine. You see,
Latest Details About Attack on Pelosi Home, Paul Pelosi
"Some breaking news and I want to bring this bring you up to speed on what we know so far. So this morning in the wee hours of the morning, some guy broke into Nancy Pelosi's home in San Francisco, armed with a hammer, beat the living daylights out of pole Pelosi, but now Fox News is reporting that the suspect allegedly said, where is Nancy? The police are getting ready to hold a press conference. We're going to dip into that when it happens. A lot of people on social media are taking sides. There are a lot of conservatives calling this a juicy smooth lay incident in other words that it just sounds fishy. It sounds suspicious. Others are immediately calling this a domestic terrorist attack and are suggesting that Trump supporters are behind it. There's no evidence of either one of those right now. So let's just wait until the police come out. I think we can all agree that nobody deserves to be beaten with a hammer in their home. I don't care who you are. I would go
Dalton Glasscock: Remember to Go Out & Vote!
"I was hoping to be there to celebrate. This looks like we're going to have to go next week. So just make sure you're well rested. I know 55 can take a lot of your energy out. Pretty quickly. You know, it's funny because I've been taking balance of nature and I'm feeling great. I've got a little pep in the step. Hey, I've been taking a balance of nature as well. And I must feel the same as you. I love it. Dalton real quick before we let you go, how are things going there in Kansas? I know you're deeply involved in politics there. You guys are expecting a big turnout on election day. Yeah, they're going well and actually calling you between door knocking today. So I took the day off, sorry Todd, to make sure that we can save democracy. It's going to be, I think, a very competitive race here in Kansas. But it's going to be fun and it's really comes down to turnout. I know people hear that again and again. But if we don't turn out the base and we don't turn out our voters, then we are not going to win this election. And so I think it takes everybody if you haven't knocked a door of the cycle, if you haven't made a phone call with cycle, head over to your local county office, go to the Shelby county party. If you're there in Memphis or go anywhere across the country and I guarantee you they're going to welcome you. Yeah, absolutely. And that is so vitally important again Dalton, we're seeing the polling data and we know we heard the hot bike comments from Chuck Schumer so the Democrats know that they're going down, but that's only going to happen if we get out the vote and get people out on election day. Yeah, it is that it all comes down to turnout it also comes to convincing your family and friends to make sure to invite someone to come to the polls with you. If you have an elderly parent, make sure you go and pick them up because a lot of people forget to vote on election day and closing at 7 o'clock while it's too late. So make sure to go pick up your parents, go pick up your kids, make sure to go out and vote and make sure it's a family experience when you're going out there as well.
Caller: Do Georgians Support Both Brian Kemp & Herschel Walker?
"Want to get you to explain something to me. I know 55 year old man like you that has covered as many elections as you have. I have a lot more savvy about this than I do. How does a state like Georgia through this whole political business whole campaign season at the past year, I've been hearing Brian Kemp being up ten points over there, rockstar, Stacey Abrams. Stacey Abrams, but Herschel Walker is just now pulling even. They've had him under. Where are these thousands of people that will vote for Brian Kemp, but they will not vote for Herschel Walker. Where is that demographic ad? I hadn't heard anybody explain that. Well, look, the first of all, the polling data is all over the place, but on the Kemp on that gubernatorial race, Kemp has always been in the lead. All of the polls that have come out from day one have had Kemp leading. And I think this is a case of the people not being sure about Herschel Walker. They've been coming out with all these scandals, all the allegations, and I think that really has hurt walker, but once people got to hear from him, they're starting to, you know, they're starting to embrace Herschel and I think his poll numbers are going to go up as well. But I think all along, you know, Brian Kemp has been an incredibly popular governor, in spite of the whole Trump controversy, but within the state of Georgia, they love this guy.
Nancy Pelosi's Husband Attacked by an Intruder at Home
"But there has been a brutal attack on Paul Pelosi, who is the husband of Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House. Here's the information we have right now. And this is all we're going to share with you. There's a lot of speculation on social media. But we don't speculate on this program. We give you the facts. And here's what we know. Right around two 30 this morning, that would be West Coast time. Somebody broke into the Pelosi house in San Francisco and they were armed with a hammer, this individual armed with a hammer and brutally attacked brutally beat Paul Pelosi. He has been taken to the hospital, we understand the injuries are very severe. There is a suspect in custody, but we don't know anything else beyond that. There's a lot of speculation on social media that it's some sort of a right-wing maga person, and we've got no evidence thus far that this is a political attack. We don't know. So as soon as the police come out and tell us the motive and tell us a little bit more information, we're going to be able to pass that along to you. But I will say this, I am very surprised once again by the lack of security. The Pelosi home has been the subject of attacks before and not by conservatives, by the way, but by these far, far leftist, and one group wanted free rent or something of that. Anyway, they vandalized the home. They left a severed pig's head. They're at the Pelosi home. And again, these are attacks coming not from conservatives or even liberals, but coming from these far left progressives. So it just seems to me that you would have at least one person guarding the home of the Speaker of the House. I get it, she wasn't there, but her husband was, the family was. And with the political violence and most of the political violence has been directed at conservatives, but it seems to me that you've got a person who is third in line to the presidency, you think they would be protecting her home. But again, they didn't even protect the U.S. capitol on January the 6th.
Kari Lake: 150 Examples of Democrats Denying Election Results
"I actually shot you asked that question. Well, actually answer. I did a little actually Anthony, Anthony holder. 20. Are you a journalist? No. Well, you did better research than have these people. Let's talk about election deniers. Here's a 150 examples of Democrats denying election results. Oh, wow, look at this. This is from. This is from Joe Biden's press secretary. Reminder, Brian Kemp stole the gubernatorial election from Georgians and Stacey Abrams. Democrats saying that. Is that an election denier? Oh, look at this. Just heard Republican Ryan Costello. Who said it would be difficult for Stacey Abrams to win because she lost her state bid, but yet she's still claiming she never lost. This is our Hillary Clinton Trump is an illegitimate president. Is she an election denier? This one says was the 2016 election legitimate. It now definitely is a question worth asking. That's the Los Angeles Times. So it's okay for Democrats to question elections. But it's not okay for Republicans. It's a crocodile. Every one of you knows it. We have our freedom of speech, and we're not going to relinquish it to a bunch of fake news propagandists. If you want a copy of these, I'm sure that Anthony would help you get a copy and help you learn how to be journalists, but look it up. It's been happening for a long time. Since 2000, people have questioned the legitimacy of our elections. And all we're asking is that in the future, we don't have that have to happen anymore. When I'm governor, excuse me. When I'm governor, we're going to make sure we have honest selections. We want the Democrats, the independents and the Republicans to all know that their vote counted. We want fair, honest and transparent elections, and we're going to deliver that for the people. But

Thank you. It's a little bit different. I have got my eyebrows tattooed and what it means is I wasn't over plucker of the 70s and 80s and they didn't bother to come back when I stopped. I didn't know that was the thing to be an over plucker. I have an over plucker of the 70s. You wild child. Oh, you young women at their do not do not do what I do. Do not be an over plucker. I thought they were just grow back. Like a pharmaceutical. No. And then you get older and all your hormones mean you don't get as much. You get hair in places you don't want here and not here where you want here, if that makes sense. So you've got one here. So you've got now permanent tattoo eyebrows. Yes. And I get lots of compliments, and that's why I say to people, do not over pluck otherwise you'll end up like me, but they are very nice. Right. All right, Catherine, thank you very much, you cool. Have a good week. I think you're welcome bye. Claire, good morning. Good morning. All right, what is your tattoo mean, Claire? My tattoo is of bird faith. It is for the Beatles song blackbird. And I got it from my mom who passed away about 8 years ago and before she died, she was choosing a 7 inch jazz brother wanted a tattoo and I remember saying, I know you told can't get one. So yeah, so that's why I got one. It's a beautiful song as well. What a lovely thing to do. Thank you, yeah. Claire, thank you very much. She called, let's go to Nick. Nick, what is your tattoo mean? Morning crew. I have on my wrist a tattoo of a stone wide and a sort of statuette of a stone wine and it's inspired by a heavy metal song called the Bosporus freezes over. I sort of put it as symphonic sort of orchestral kind of music. And what it means is it's a symbol to as a bit of a monument or tribute to the person you could have been or things that had to be left behind. And there's a bit of a marker of encouragement to
Danny Huerta: The Bible Provides an Invitation to Christ & Others
"Of it? You bring your Bible to school, you've got it there on the desk. What is the, what does that do? Really, in my mind, is it provides an invitation. You're coming in and you're inviting people into something that you believe is true and can be life giving. You're bringing an invitation, you're letting other people know, I've been invited into something and to relationship with Christ, and I want to invite you into that as well. And then it creates a momentum of conversation with others around you. It also reminds you of how you're living out your faith throughout your the other day that you're there. It's not just about bringing the Bible, but it's a reminder to you that you are representative of those beliefs. And in that, we hope that people sign up for live it challenges and we've had over 2000 registrants every month come on new registrants come on to the challenges and bring your Bible to school days. One of those challenges, but then we have a monthly challenge for families and students to take on and encourage one another through social media to live out your faith. Now that you've proclaimed and you say hey, I believe in Jesus Christ, now you get to show that through life giving activities like encouraging words and doing things that are challenges, life giving challenges that you get to participate in all year long. And so that's an exciting way to have a starting point for many different things. Maybe it's a Bible study in your school, maybe it's a prayer group that you start, but we count October 6th at the great data stand and to begin a momentum and you're inviting people into something that you believe is amazingly life given. All right, well, Danny, we're going to leave it there. A great project, great idea.
To Love God, Is to Fear God
"So I would like a billboard campaign that had an alternate view of God's behavior than the normal one God loves you. God judges you. I would like billboards across the country that said, reminder, God judges you. I think we would get more good from God loves you. That just made me think of, I just said that the intentions and then behavior idea was something that I kind of switched on. Another thing that you alerted me to that I've also changed my thinking on is a, not that God loves me, but God judges me. I think about that more now. And also, what was the second one? It had to do with God. God loves God doesn't. I wish I could. Damn it. Hold on. Oh, fearing God. That's what it was. When you fear God. By the way, that was very quick. I know, well to remember what you forgot. I know it takes people. Oh, I'll come back to it later. I was sitting there going, Julie, you're on a podcast, you're being recorded. Dig it up in your brain, dick it up in your brain. But yes, that's the second thing that now, of course, I'm forgetting it now. Fearing God. Instead of I love God, it should primarily be, I fear God. Right. Because as you said on your radio show the other day, I was driving and as so often when you drop a truth bomb, I said boom out loud when you said it as I was driving when I heard it, you said when you fear God, so many other things in life you fear less. And as we see nowadays, people are crippled, crippled by fear. This
Secretary Robert Wilkie on the Challenges Ahead for Ukraine
"To just, I'm not pushing back as it were, but I have one historic reminder that I'd like you to comment on secretary wilkie. The Russians are famous for needing a strong man for not wanting representative government from Peter the great to Stalin to the current incumbent of the Kremlin. And the other thing when it comes to warfare is they're famous for being a meat grinder. Absolutely. The individual means nothing. And the individual is treated like that. We see the drowned. Is this not the biggest challenge for Ukraine that in terms of relative size, just the war of attrition that the Russians will, because they don't have representative government, they're just throw more and more conscripts more and more old tanks. Could this be like the frozen conflicts of Transnistria, which just eke on out for years or decades? It could be, but there's some differences. There's a difference between invading sovereign friend, ties of blood. Yes. And defending oneself in the great patriotic war. The other side of that is that the United States and Britain kept Russia afloat. No matter how many men that they lost, trucks. Ammunition weapons. Absolutely. And that their foe was being ground down from the other side from the other side. From the Western Allies. So there's some difference there.

We may just have to have a route to at some point, and obviously we talk a lot separately. So maybe we can figure that out. But I know that we have, let's just call it, how much more time do you have? Like 20 minutes? 30 minutes or so? Yeah, okay. So we have another 30 minutes. And we may dig into this separately. You ended up doing many things after that. You were founding partner of matrix China. Which manages more than $7 billion and is funded more than 500 companies, 50 plus of which become unicorns. There's more to the resume, obviously. And you continue to be hard charging in a lot of ways. And the reason is not the most important part about me. Which I want to. Right. So this is the segue. Which is the way we met was in part around the discussion of inner journey and turning the eye and attention inward. We didn't meet at a business networking event. We weren't doing a joint venture together. We met in a very personal context. How did that start for you? How did that process? And I know process is a broad term. But when did that become a priority and how did it become a priority for you? First, I would say that I had no interest in any kind of inner work for a long, long time. In fact, I would look down on people who go to retrieve or meditations, when not to say, what the hell are these people doing? They have better things to do in life. I was sort of, I found almost disgusting despicable back then, actually. So I had no interest, but life, I think, has a way of if one pays attention, I guess. To send little reminders. So the first reminder I got was, hey, you know, I was still the same me with some of the same kind of patterns of behavior, the same level of happiness and joy that I had before the big success. And looking back, I realized that compared to the life I have today, the life back then was more of a black white television in today's more colorful television. It's hard to describe the difference if I only watched black and white television on my life. The reason I use this example was because I grew up with a 9 inch black and white television, which felt totally fine. For all my life. And without having seen a 80 inch color television, the 9 inch black and white look completely adequate and comfortable. And I think that's where I was back then. My light didn't have a lot of color didn't have joy. I never cried really, it never laughed, never smiled really. And I've been so long. Interesting. I felt alone, but not lonely. But I think some of these things showed up a little bit, like oh, so to start wondering, what am I missing? There is a little little things I think, but there are very small. On that alone, I don't think I would have embarked on a journey. Another reminder was how different my life was with Jenny, my wife, versus with other people. And also I see how she behaves with other people in a way that's sort of beyond my comprehension. I remember one time she was, we were having dinner with a friend and a friend started talking about how he lost his father and my wife just stood up and went to hug him. And I was dumbfounded. Another would occur to me to do it. She was telling a story I'm listening, but I was not in touch with the emotional content, the story. And my wife clearly was, and she is one of the most empathetic person alive, that I know. So some part of me started wondering what's going on, what am I missing? And also I noticed that I could work with people for decades and not become friends with them, but she would then go to dinner with their significant other, the four of us will go to general lunch and then she becomes friends with them. Allow me. Even.

"So don't beat yourself up for asking the right question because you're asking it because you love people and because you care about those relationships, those relationships are valuable to you and it's not a trivial thing to say, you know what? Screw it. I'll just start over from scratch and give up everything and lose everybody. It's not an easy decision, whether you're talking about Christianity or Islam. And the thing is, honestly, drew, I don't when people tell me, look, I left Christianity and I lost family and this and that. I don't tell them, hey, so what? I'm an ex Muslim. Experience worst things. No. There are also other ex Muslims who experience much worse things. I'm actually in a much less hard position compared to them. I acknowledge and appreciate what you experience, I can never belittle it, diminish that just because I or some people that I know go through worse things. Your struggle should be measured by what it means to you and how it impacts you, not how it's not by how it compares to the struggle of others. And I always appreciate you being strong and sticking up for yourself. On that note, drew. Thanks. Thanks so much. And by the way, I'll always recommend recovering from religion and the secular therapy project if you find help during this, but there's also the unofficial message forums and the ACA Discord if you need people to interact with. But by all means, whatever you decide to do, feel free to call us back and let us know what you decided and how it went because one thing we absolutely know is that you are not remotely the only person in this position. And the more of us who talk about the experiences that we've had, the easier it is for the rest of the people who are out there who are like us. Absolutely. That was a very nice way to end this and then I guess we can wrap up. Yeah. So welcome to the team. You're stuck here. You're not allowed to ever stop doing this, but I'm thrilled to have you been looking forward to this. My whole vacation. I was like, oh, I get to come back, and I'm going to do a show with AP and tell everybody, yes, apostate profit is now officially one of the co hosts of the atheist experience, and we couldn't be happier. One reminder for all of you out there, a reminder that I've done many, many times. Please be safe and continue to follow the guidelines in your area. A world is in a difficult place. You're going to hear a lot about wars and rumors of wars from apologists. It's already started. And I have massive concerns about what's going on. The only thing that I can do to make sense of this and to keep going day to day is to recognize that we still aren't completely out of a pandemic and we're probably going to see more cases. I'm hoping that all of the people involved the government's involved continue to take the best steps to keep all of us safe and yet the world is working in a really messy fashion. And I remind myself that if I was still a bully, I would be sitting here going, well, this is the end time where this is all part of God's plan. Everything happened according to God's plan. And while those are all comforting, if you already buy into the bullshit, they have no comfort for me, as a matter of fact, they find them. The notion that everything happens according to God's plan makes the God that they're advocating for complete monster. Well, no, you're ignoring the good stuff. No, no, no. I'm sure Hitler loved his mom, but to try and portray that as if that's a good characteristic, therefore, there's a good person just isn't realistic. But what I'm turned to in this time isn't a religion isn't false hope, but it is the many messages that we've received, the people who've changed their mind found their way out of religion. They found their way to skepticism, found their way to humanism, found their way to communities built up onto the free flow of conference gone to the American atheist national convention that's coming up next month. All of those individuals out there who have benefited from the work that we've done here in this program and the other programs in the ACA and the other programs out there on YouTube, the work that Faust a prophet and my other ex Muslim Friends have been doing. We know that we are in fact building a better world. And that is something to be hopeful and optimistic about, but we can not just say, oh yeah, we'll get there because we could could allow ourselves to never get to that better world. And so my hope, as I mentioned before, it's for peace and diplomacy to win out, and if it can't, then we have to protect the freedoms people who are going to be sharing this world with, not the ones that we're going to be in conflict. So you all next week. Thanks, everybody. Bye bye. Thanks. To start opening your eyes to start questioning.

"It doesn't matter. They literally just need somebody and the Patriots roped them into this trade. So in that respect, look, I'm not going to, but let's not do a whole parade for the fact that they got a fourth round pick back for a former first round pick. But at least they did make good on the return a little bit in this trade and the vacuum. So that was I thought was great element of this. He was clearly the guy two trade as you mentioned on the last year of his contract. No 5th year option. So it was definitely the right guy to trade. And they got at least something for him. Let's talk about what it means for the backfield moving forward. I know that there's a huge fan club for JJ Taylor. A lot of patriots fans love them some JJ Taylor. And for good reason. But the guy that this definitely impacts more in the backfield from Taylor's perspective, it impacts him from a numbers perspective, right? They don't have 6 running backs. They don't have a long jam there anymore where he can't make the team just because there's a sheer too many guys. But from a role perspective, reminder Stevenson is the guy made Sony Michelle expendable. David Harris is the lead back. He's been the lead back all summer long. Today out at practice, as I mentioned earlier, reminder Stevenson got all of the second reps. Damian Harris went first reminder Stevenson excuse me, went second through two preseason games, reminder Stevenson leads all ball carriers in the entire NFL and yards after contact with a 140. This is a legitimate player that the Patriots are, I think this definitely has the writing on the wall of that we are comfortable with putting the mantra Stevenson in a game this year already. And there's one play at practice that really stood out. We can talk about it in a second after you give your take on this that I think solidified the fact that they would be comfortable with putting ram Andre out there. Yeah, you know, I think that with I don't think that this deal happens without the emergence of remonstrations without him playing as well as he has. You know, Ivan fierce said early in camp he had a lot to work on. He failed his conditioning test. We know that he failed his conditions when he came in. So it would make sense that their plan from the beginning was to redshirt him and it seems like even with that fumble against Billy, which I'll eat some crow on that. I thought that was the last time we were gonna see until 2020. It's not hard. I was dead wrong about this whole situation, I'll own it. I don't know. And I look, I like the player. I always thought he was going to be a good player. I just thought their history of running backs would have to wait to see him. But he's played their way into the fact that I the way things stack up right now. Unless there's a huge role coming for Brandon Bolden that we're not expecting. And he Bolden was back today for the first time in a little over a week. He did ever read knock contact Jersey, but where they are right now if Damian Harris gets hurt and Harris has had some injury troubles. Here in the second quarter. First on Simmons just some questionable shot selection here from Philly. A few silly unforced turnovers and you know you're giving this Hawk team some life down five. They have no business being within five points right here Shooting 25% and two of 11 from three Doc's going to reinsert Joel Embiid to the lineup. So the counter for Nate McMillan, Clint Capela. "I'm sure there's going to be a lot of overreacting but, you know, I think it's kind of warranted. I mean, that's embarrassing, do it? Anything is the Bruins had a legit number one defenseman, who was their captain that the Leafs game, greatest, Morgan, Riley is points-wise. I wouldn't consider him a perennial number one defenseman in this league. I just I wouldn't and I just find it hilarious like this morning. I opened Twitter dead. And J fresh on Twitter tweets. So... Mitch Marner for Seth Jones and it's just and that will help. That'll be the most Maple Leaf shit in the world. Yes, that'd be another young person. Taylor Hall, type type deal. I just, I can't get over. I think it's hilarious. I think it's funny. It's embarrassing. It is perfectly Toronto and you and you expected it. Like, he just couldn't believe that. It's like, no, it's the leaves. You, you can go, right? You can believe that's par for the course. So another year, another another first-round exit for the Leafs. There's so much to dissect from it off and it's I feel so bad for the front line workers in Toronto. You know they do their first game, they get to their vaccinated. They're so excited to go see their Leafs play in person. It's like damn, you know, all this work. I get to go watch the Leafs game 7. Well, maybe for them. It's like the the the first reminder that life is getting back to normal and that you know the the like leads are once again, choked noise first round exit so it's your ceiling off. Course so yeah, that's the Leafs that's our leaves minute. They still suck and they'll probably be back in the division next year. I'll be back with the Bruins, the lightning. So have fun with more first-round exits guys cuz there's no way out of that one. I wonder if they do blow it up, though. I do wonder if you know they make some big move to kind of send a message, cuz I mean what do you do? After you picked a tough year, like I'm completely changed his right because you've got a flat cap, you've also, I mean, never doubt a dumbass team that's kind of like take Monitor and like over pay for them when she hasn't shown up and hasn't scored a goal. What is it? Eighteen sixteen to eighteen, eighteen straight, playoff games, a lot of goal? Which, I mean, maybe some what? What seems like the the wage? I don't like a dogshit franchise, like the coyotes where it's like, well, he's going to score a bunch of points. The regular season, get tickets for us. So we don't, we could give less of a shit but still it's even if you found a team that would take a guy like that. Yep. Just been done in terms of moving the pieces. Now with the flat cap, you know, we start last year where we thought, there's going to be a lot more movement and the guys were signing, one year deals or you had a nice. It's like, you know, do Clan these guys signing contracts, like right ahead of Camp. So not really the best year too. Clearly change gears with your cord that you've expected to probably be making multiple to The Cup Final by this point. But it's yeah, it's embarrassing. I mean, you ever think they hit a new low, but I think that one's right up there cuz you as much as I think, Bruins fans hop on 29th and how they'll never have a better easier road to get to a cup..

"Your family. know if that's if that's your decision that that that that is your decision because at the end of the day if you will be in a position where your life can no longer exist physically and the topic were to come up you know what about donating your loved ones. Oregon's they're asking your family that they're not asking you and Sure your indication on the driver's license or registration bank. You know federally nationally. That's going to be a clue as to your wishes but end of the day they're asking your family and so i'll tell everyone you know register all that stuff's lovely and good and you. You need to do so but You gotta explain to your family your wishes and and explain to them why you would make such a choice you know. In my case my donor had never heard of thought of it. I'm assuming But i'm good friends with the family now and love them and i communicate with them on a regular basis and the i know the mother and the sisters made the decision and they made the decision because they wanted affect somebody. They never known. Anyone have a transplant. But now on you know olive on with her sons heart inside of me and I try to. Stan is an advocate for others potentially to do the same because dislike. I was and everybody he. Is you know the people who approached me now and say. I've never known anybody have heart transplant until you while. I hope you never anybody but when it comes to your house and you know We had W- real quick backing up. While i was waiting for transplant. We were putting newspaper. Were having my photograph put in the newspaper pretty regularly and my children's stories and everything in the newspaper and saying you know save my daddy Not that anybody could donate a heart by raising their hand but that making awareness making people aware that it was a need out there and so you know was newspaper circulated hundreds of thousands of homes just to put of for some of them the first reminder they've had since that point you can say taibbi commercials. Now you hear things on the radio you. There's more now than there was then but awareness is a huge and so being aware that people are in need and that may be deceased donors like heart and lungs it could be living donors like kidneys so many people wait for years waiting on kidney transplant. Going to dialysis every day of the week. You know that sort of thing to even survive and they need that living donors someone to stand up and say you know what i can give them live. I can give them their life back in You know. I can live with one and they can have the other most share. So that's just the the awareness as far as transplant goes as far as everything else on the other side spiritually. You know we gotta get the gospel message out and we've got to let people know that the You know we may not always be there.

"Sponsorships. They've gotten their money's worth out of it including one company. The two billion dollar company has switched over to them and so they definitely got their value out of the sponsorship. And this still going. Yeah this goes every month and so all that we do we have about one hour of prep and then ninety minutes a month of the actual event though one hour of prep is that ben goes and gets a cameo made from different rapper every month and the rapper shouting out club. Ltv he's like so. We had sean. Paul do the cameo one month and he's like hey it's your boy shock ball just one of the big big ups to club. Ltv you guys are all doing so great with your e commerce store and he's like you know it doesn't even make any sense but it's just like a video that plays with people like it because it's like i don't know it's kinda goofy so we do what we get one cameo ordered and he sends the calendar invite so just make sure everybody gets eight cents one reminder email and then the last thing is that after the event he just says hey if you learn something really useful that you're going to implement in your business email me mid the one line of the most useful that happened for you in the hour because the structure of it as we break everybody up into groups of six so you're in a group with six other store owners who do between one in fifty million a year in revenue and the format as you say one thing you did in the last month. That's really working. It's driving revenue up and one thing that you're struggling with that you might want help from the group. And so afterwards they all email him the most useful things he just takes that sheet and he descends it to everybody. So hey here was the top insights from the group. I wouldn't you charge for that. Because i can actually make much more off to sponsorships. For example i've been approached by the companies that want you to build their commerce store on their platform. There's people who want you to use them for email marketing. there's the people want influence or marketing. who are you using for facebook advertising. Who are using. What's the agency that manages your your data tracking like your pixel stuff so all these companies..

"With you at 11 37, and we are cruising commitment. We're talking about the top TV shows of 2020 a lot of quarantine watching. We'll get to Joe and Franklin in a moment, but first Reminder. This is what the Crown sort of sounded like Rob two women running the show, but that's the last thing this country needs. Perhaps that's precisely what this country needs. My goal is to change this country from being dependent to self reliant, and I think in that I am succeeding joblessness, Recession crises. It's a dangerous game to make enemies left right and center. Lot of one who's comfortable with having elements. Are you Yes, I just loved it. Gillian Anderson is really pouring it on his Margaret Thatcher in American playing a brick. And you imagine that son of a gun anyway? Um, uh, There's some really good acting in there. There's no question about that. I'm just scrolling down here as I look at my I am Devi page to look at some of the actors really brilliant stuff. Alright, let's continue here on WBZ. We go to Joe in Franklin has mentioned Hello, Joe. Welcome. How are you? Hi, Jordan. How are you? Just great. Thank you. Happy New year. Happy new YouTube. That a busy year I worked pathetic. So we had a busy here. You guys have not stopped. Thank you for all you've done. Yeah, I worked in a warehouse in Northborough, Mass. And, yeah, kids think the hours starting to go down a little bit this week, which is kind of good, but we've been busy. Uh huh. But anyways, I know you're talking about TV shows and of here, Um, One of the ones I I really enjoyed was a remake of an old show titled Perry Mason. Oh, yes, I would put that on my top 10. I loved it. Tell it Tell me why you liked it. Go ahead. I forget the actor's name. I know there's all new performers today. What? Not? Um uh, I liked it. It is a little dark. I just compared to the older one right of the older one with Raymond Burke. You're talking about Matthew Matthew Reese. I think that's the way you pronounce his name. He was also on the Americans. He's a Brit. Matthew Reese played Perry Mason. Yeah, Okay. That's Chuck e thought he did a good job and Uh, whole plot with that woman accused of killing her, baby. Just, uh, got really intriguing against. Um Yeah, it was Very, very film noir like and there were some great character actors. You probably remember Robert Patrick from Terminator two. He was the evil robot, but he was there and There's a guy by the name of Stephen Root. You may not know him by name, but you know his face. Um he is fabulous and really well done. Serious on HBO. I great. I believe John. Let's go was obviously he's a good actor. He's been in a lot of different stuff. You think that's name John? Let's go, played the the lawyer at first, who was sort of Perry's boss. Perry, Mason's boss, and, Yeah, he was terrific. He is terrific. Yeah, Yeah, actually, I'm sorry. No, no, no, you go. Please. Um, serious. I'm looking for the watching. Actually been on YouTube for a couple seasons coming next year. I believe I thought I heard January. 1st is Cobra Kai continuation of the karate kid. That has actually been out for a couple of seasons. I think already on the Netflix, I think I've seen it. I've not watched it, but yeah, that's getting great reviews. Great bus. Were you a fan of the original? I am. Yeah. I saw all the three movies and have me obviously the first one is the classic and I actually like the third one as well to, um uh, the one with the girl. Ah, The female hurt. The surgeon would think is a mike Barnes. I don't know if that Zach wasn't there. One where? Instead of a karate kid being the boy..

"Try and catch. Mckinney's here sunday morning. Looks like this is going to be a change of administrations. What's going on in the world. And how is our country going to deal with it with us this morning. Dr william j. tucker. He is longtime national security. Expert was in the navy for a long time and foreign policy expert. He's got one one knowledgeable guy Good morning. I'm dr parker. How are you good morning. I'm doing great and it's good to be back on your show again. What's going on in the well. What role do you want to start with. Well i think if it's okay with you i'd like to start with the us and work our way out today because we have some immediate challenges that i think we need to look at next administration but tell us well. I think Internationally you have The same actors that the last couple of administrations have had to deal with russia. China iran north korea. And i think we need to. We need to talk about those. Maybe a little more detail. In a moment here. I think domestically we need to continue to work this This cove issue a hard and then and then we also need to work to get america back to work as quickly as we can. And then finally there's the internal administrative a challenge if you will which is ensuring that we get political appointees or write political appointees in position in day one reminder to To your audience there are four thousand political up two positions out there of which seventeen hundred or senate confirmable so you have a lot of people that transition every administration. It's important to get them in earlier and not later and do you think look under the last four years under donald trump president trump. Do you think he made a lotta mistakes. Not transitioning some of the people that were in there from historically. I believe strongly that there needs to be a right and left seat Approach if you will in other words for pilots out there they have a love seat right seat to make sure that the the guy flying the plane has somebody next to him to ensure that he can take over at a moment's notice And so. I think it's important that the people that are in those positions now or not thrown out on day one that you have a turnover process in place. Something i've recommended to the last couple of administrations That they have that turnover process over love seat right seat process and i think it's important for this one as well. It seems like president-elect biden is choosing a lot of middle of the road people and he's got a left wing of the democratic party a little bit upset at him is his choices. Better than you expect i I would expect that That he will continue to adjust as he sees reactions from from the rest of the country On this. I think that you will see that. He's going to have to face certain Key issues i mean. At the end of the day he's going to have to deal with his. Jcp away with iran and by that..
