Armed and Dangerous: An IRS 'Army'

"Has the reputation it has for being just awful and bureaucratic and all those things and nobody really likes them. And of course everybody fears them. I understand it. I get it. They apparently. And maybe this has always been the case. I don't know, but it's being, it's being called to attention that the new job posting requires you to be able to legally carry a firearm. Very, very interesting stuff, right? Why would you need a firearm? At the IRS, well, it goes on, the job description says you must maintain a level of fitness. Necessary to effectively respond to life threatening situations on the job. What are these IRS agents doing? How would it be a life threatening situation when you're calculating numbers? I mean, wouldn't you bring in some other teams for the stuff that's going to involve the firearms? And the dangerous situations, I think it's a question worth asking, you need to quote, be willing and able to participate in arrests. Execution of search warrants and other dangerous assignments. Look, the administration is kind of in the hot seat right now because one nobody likes the IRS. Everybody should be paying their taxes, of course. I'm not encouraging anything other than that. So don't try and read anything into this. Those on the left that might think otherwise. We do need some accountability there. So I'm not against that. But I just find it rather strange that they're hiring 80,000 new IRS agents apparently they want to grow the agency, according to the fact checkers at The Washington Post by 25 to 30%. So they want to get the agency personnel bigger, stronger, and apparently armed with firearms.

Eric and Charlie Kirk Discuss His New Book 'The College Scam'

"You have a brand new book out which ties in, I mean, it's so crazy. It ties into exactly what we're talking about. Yeah, so it's called the college scam, not all of us could go to Yale. Like Eric, you know, it's just, we're not all smart enough. So look, I argue in the book the college is a scam. It's a waste of time and money for most people. There is a place for higher education in our society for maybe doctors lawyers and accountants and engineers, but the vast majority of kids going to college are getting a garbage experience. They're going into debt to study things that don't matter to find jobs that don't exist. And I think 80% of the college population should not be there at all. It's a racket. It's a cartel. And it should be broken up. And Charlie, first of all, as somebody who went to Yale, I know better than almost anyone that what you said is true. And that it is only by God's grace that God delivered me from what I quote, unquote, learned at Yale. Yale, it's like going to jail. It's like going to prison and learning how to think like a criminal. And it's only by God's grace that when it got on the outside, God delivered me from a life of crime, effectively speaking, because you do definitely pick up anti American anti biblical thinking. And it is at the cost of your parents paying, but again, just like we have to wake people up to what's going on in the country. We have to wake people up. I know tons of people that are sucked into the garbage propaganda that I want to have a good life. So I'm going to send my kid to this great high school and then we're going to get into this college and then and then and then nothing ladies and gentlemen. And then absolutely not. Then you're going to lose your children to the utopian, madness of the Marxist zeitgeist. That's right. And look, so people are wondering, how could they possibly execute this rate on Trump? Where could they believe such a thing? Colleges would defend this. Colleges would argue that the state is the perfection of man, that if there's anyone that gets in the way, you must use the state as an instrument. It's very hegelian. So every bad idea, every use of force that is used by the state, these ideas come from colleges.

The IRS Hiring Spree Is the Biggest Expansion of the Police State Ever

"The IRS hiring spree is the biggest expansion of the police state in American history by David harsanyi. The Democrats reconciliation bill I'm reading from the federalist dot com isn't just going to be the largest ever expansion of a government agency. It's going to be the largest expansion of the domestic police state in American history. Many of you watching right now will be audited and many of you will have to go through a very difficult time defending yourself, nonprofits, churches, get ready, they're coming. The Internal Revenue Service will embody their inner KGB, their Stasi and come after every single freedom lover. Be prepared. The average American has less reason to be concerned about cops with guns that the IRS is looking for special agents that can quote carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force if necessary. The federal government that already collects $4.1 trillion every year or 12,300 for every citizen, why do they need they need 80 new battalions of IRS cops.

A Rather Suspicious IRS Job Posting That Has Since Been Deleted

"So yesterday, there was a job posting that someone found on the wet on the Internet. Now, it seems as if there's a lot of enthusiasm going on at the IRS right now. The IRS is really excited. They get 87,000 new IRS agents that would never have happened if we would have won the Georgia Senate runoff. There would have been blocked. But the IRS decided to post a job opening. Now remember, the IRS has a weird and bizarre amount of ammunition and bullets. They've been buying up ammunition all across the country. The IRS is now posting jobs that says the following. In order to get this job, you must adhere to the highest standards of conduct, especially in maintaining honesty and integrity. Okay. You must be able to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, which include irregular hours, and be on call 24/7, including holidays and weekends. Okay. Maintain a level of fitness necessary to effectively respond to life threatening situations on the job. Wow, wow wait, wait. The IRS? I mean, that audits people and tells people they're late on their taxes. That's weird. Continues. In order to get the job at the IRS, you have to be able to carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force if necessary. This is it right here on screen. This is on the IRS's website, everybody. They just scrapped it as soon as we and many other Sean Davis, the great Sean Davis, started the publicize it. The IRS then says be willing and able to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments. That's the internal revenue services new job posting. 87,000 new IRS agents made possible by kyrsten sinema and Joe Manchin and Mark Kelly and Raphael Warnock, the house has to still vote on it, but the IRS is now advertising. You have to quote maintain a level of fitness necessary to effectively respond to life threatening situations on the job and carry a firearm. Again, this is these are the tax people.

Are You Wartime or Are You Peacetime?

"You see, there's a great quote in godfather and we'll get it and Kurt schlichter mentioned it yesterday. Are you wartime are you peace time? When I say wartime, I do not mean physical or violent. That's where the media is sloppy and they are imprecise intentionally. I am of course talking about metaphorically. Now the other side I talk about this stuff all the time and no one ever calls them out. Everything I talk about in those terms is metaphorical in the sense of we will beat you at the ballot box, even though you want to beat us with bullets. As Abraham Lincoln famously said, he said, if we no longer able to resolve our differences with ballots, unfortunately, we'll descend into bullets. I refuse to let that happen. I know you do too.

Dana Goldberg and Stephanie Are Giddy Over This Week's Trump Raid

"Know what to say about how good this week has been and it's only Thursday still. I mean, it has been blissful. A G and I were talking about it on the podcast yesterday. She's just, you know, Trump's walking around going, I'm innocent, but which one of you has the wire? And then I said, but which one of you is bugged? Yes. Yes, Travis. Oh, we could say something on the safe. Mick Mulvaney was on scene, and this morning. He said that only 6 to 8 people know about that safe and Mar-a-Lago. Oh. Who could it be? Oh my God. It's like a game of clue. It's just getting. It's like mystery date, but better. Now he's going to be sad he wasn't there, Dana, 'cause the Trump lawyer said she saw ten to 15 FBI vehicles, including a rider truck. You know how he loves to pretend to drive the trucks. And drugs are a big trick. Do we have him doing it? I love big drops, Hong Kong. Doesn't he doesn't he always pretend? For photo ops to ride the stop reaching for the wheels, sir, you need to stop reaching for the wheel. Okay, she spoke to Trump while the raid was underway, and he expressed shock about the FBI search. This is massive job done right. Has required more than 1500 pieces of heavy equipment, one of the largest cranes anywhere in the world and look forward to seeing it. I love cranes. I love trucks of all. Not the rider trucks at the FBI. I took your illegal away and yes, this is but you know, the fact that he expressed shocking that this is what Mary Trump said yesterday, I think, is that this is the first time his life he's been without protection of the office of the presidency of the banks of his father. I mean, he's shocked because why wouldn't he be? He's gotten away with everything his entire life. But she's also said and we need to follow it. He's that list of inventory that he said he has. They're going to say they planted something. They were already starting to say that. That's what he's alluding to, and all of these will no one was there. The lawyers weren't there. The FBI agents had full reign. It's coming. So we all need to be prepared that it's coming. Yeah, I would say I was quoting Rachel Bennett offer earlier said, I think what we find at the end of the day is going to make our jaws drop as much as nothing you think nothing would surprise you about Donald Trump. What would be worth hiding and going to prison for for ten months? Jim Jordan seems to think it's golf balls. That's what they took boxes of golf balls and a raincoat. I'm like, he doesn't have a raincoat. He doesn't know how to use a rain umbrellas. So I'm sure that's not what's in the boxes, Jim.

Where Is Merrick Garland?

"Where is Merrick Garland? You would think that after you raid a former president's home that you would at least get a press release, you'd think that the DoJ would mention this in passing silence, nothing. You go to justice dot gov, they have this Justice Department establishes reproductive rights task force. Justice dot gov, they have clicks of links of COVID-19 relief fraud scheme. Massachusetts construction company owner indicted for tax crimes. Okay. Nothing about the raid of a president, to give an idea of how extraordinary this raid was, it was a 9 and a half hour occupation, including over 30 agents, equivalent equivalent of a 180 man hours where Trump's staff were literally kicked out of Mar-a-Lago and now we're just waiting waiting and anticipation, where is Merrick Garland? And sun tzu's art of war, there's a great quote that says 1 may know the condition of a whole army from the behavior of a single man. Now, the silence is something I didn't anticipate. The raid surprised me to some extent. The timing of it. But generally, when I thought about it, we predicted here on this program. But Merrick Garland being the attorney general of the United States owes the country, hey, how did this happen exactly? What was the reason for it? Why could you have not issued a subpoena? Why a raid? Just everyone understands a raid is only necessary if you believe a crime is currently being committed or property is about to be destructive. Donald Trump was not even at Mar-a-Lago.

Alex Jones Discusses Being Patient Zero of Cancellations

"Alex, you were banned in one day, talk about this. Apple iCloud, Facebook, Twitter, Google. It was simultaneous. There was collusion and it was you first and they went after all of us afterwards. How do you keep going? What's the lesson for the everyday American that gets canceled? Those Alex Jones first and they went after Donald Trump. It's Alex Jones first and they raid Mar-a-Lago. Like you said, your patient zero, what keeps you going, what's your advice for the everyday American? Well, it's actually the four year anniversary yesterday. It was August 8th, 2018. That I woke up at like 4 a.m. like I always do. And all my alerts were going off. My inbox was full, and it was Tim Cook met with the other heads of the other big 5 tech companies, Facebook, Google, Twitter, you name it. Apple, but she headed up and made the decision to ban Alex Jones, and then over a hundred other platforms from Uber eats to LinkedIn, Uber eats. Everything. They said that you no longer can order Uber eats, is that what they did? That's right. My name was put into the social credit score, database that they've already setting up. I was the test case, patient zero for the social credit score, putting us into that. And so I saw that happen and I told listeners I said, this is for you. This is a president setting case for everybody, and now they had met that. So now, with lawfare and rig courts and weaponized judiciary and weaponized law enforcement, now what's happening to me, they admit, they said in closing arguments last week at the state sandy hook trial, I get what the judge said I was already guilty. They said, we're going to silence him, we're going to take him out. These are quotes. We're going to take his megaphone and then we're going to take everybody else's megaphone. Anybody that questions us, the judge said, I am truth. You are not. What I say is truth, what you say is lies. Those are quotes right out of 1984. So they have devolved into what George rworld wrote about 1947.

"Reality is this. We are dealing with inflation and we're going to continue to deal with this for the foreseeable future and government continues to be in the way, including with this $700 billion in change, quote unquote, inflation reduction act, which is just an inflationary stimulus act. Anyway, you combine all these things together and it's setting them up for failure in a pretty big way, but importantly for you and this is what matters. You don't want yourself to be set up for that kind of failure. You don't want your family, economically, to be set up for that kind of failure. And it's one of the reasons why I say diversify your holdings diversify your retirement holdings or savings and make sure when you do that diversification, you're looking at something like gold.

Steven Moore Discusses the So-Called 'Inflation Reduction Act'

"Now is Steve Moore from the committee to unleash prosperity. Steve, this bill that the Senate passed over the weekend. It's hard to even know where to start with this. I'll just kind of give you the floor is yours. What are the big points that people need to know about this increases taxes, the green energy aspect of it increased the IRS. Let's start with the climate change part of it. Where on earth is all that money going to go to quote unquote fight climate change? Well, great to be with you, Charlie. You're right. You and I could probably talk for two hours about this is truly a dreadful Bill. 800 pages long. And I can't think of one good thing in this bill. Truly. I mean, I've read through, not the whole thing, but I've read through most of it. And it is basically just a massive increase in the size and scope of government and the invasiveness of government. And that's essentially the John Doe. I want to make one point right from the start, Charlie. If you count the $1.9 trillion Biden spent in his first months in office, remember that was the blue state bailout bill. And then that fraudulent $1.1 trillion so called infrastructure Bill, which was really the green energy bill. And then remember two or three weeks ago, they passed a massive corporate welfare Bill. That was roughly $200 billion. This one has a price tag of somewhere near. We don't know exactly somewhere 607 100 billion. That's $4 trillion. I mean, can you believe this? They're talking now, the left is talking about, oh my gosh, Joe Biden's like the next FDR. Well, if running up record amounts of debt, records amounts of red ink and deficits and record amounts of inflation, then he has been a quote productive president, but I've never seen anything like this in my 35 years. This will bankrupt our country. And let's just pray that we can stop this now. I'm not confident, but maybe there are maybe four or 5 or 6 fiscally conscientious Democrats left that might finally stay, hey, three and a half $1 trillion enough. We don't need another 700 billion.

The Tragic Saga of Alex Jones

"Jones back in many a couple of years ago. Spoke out about the sandy hook shooting. He said something quote, he said, no one died. The incident was staged. It was synthetic. It was manufactured. It was a giant hoax and completely fake with actors. He's totally wrong there. In fact, he's admitted he was wrong. Shouldn't have said it. It was not true. Somewhat despicable, quite honestly, and he shouldn't have said it. Okay, so he said that and in reaction to it, the sandy hook parents then started to allegedly to the court documents started to get harassed because of that. Series of lawsuits then were filed against Alex Jones saying that because of him their lives were totally ruined. This trial has been going on and on and on. Now remember, with Alex Jones, you're dealing with someone that specializes in bombast and bravado, shouldn't have said it. It was a mistake. He's admitted he was wrong, multiple times, but that will not satisfy the media, and that will not sought satisfy the nonstop pressure campaign against Alex Jones. So according to the judge and the Alex Jones case, anything you read in the press is hearsay and even reciting what you read as a means to convey how you made it feel is also hearsay. So let's play cut 22. How did you feel about that? Well, when I read the newspaper, there was a 20 $8 million ad buy. Don't say what you read. Just how many have you filmed? Things that you have read are also here today. Okay. Because you didn't save them. Somebody else centered right on writing is speech. Do not tell the jury anything that came from someone else that you've read or heard don't have to disregard that sentence. Go ahead. So that is the judge, her name is Maya Guerra gamble. This is the type of judge that Alex Jones was given. 23 up on stage. Hashtag stay at home. It could save lives with a blue hair bonnet on. Love is love with the transgender thing, and also don't stay at the top, vote for every Democrat. That's the type of judge Alex Jones got. Conflict of interest, you better believe it.

The Inflation Reduction Act Will Tax the Poor

"Elon Musk was worth $250 billion, and he didn't pay taxes why. Because he didn't draw the money. Because his college capital gains tax, if you don't draw the money, you give yourself a little bit of money, even though you're worth, I don't know how much. And God knows how much Tesla is paying for his living. He is not going to pay no real taxes. And then I started finding out from people that I know they got a lot of money they talk about a trust. You put money into the trust, you draw from the trust. I made people put money in a life insurance. I mean, that's all kind of ways that people that got real money, that they divert taxes. So this tax increase due to this quote unquote inflation reduction act is not going to affect wealthy people, they're not going to have a tremendous effect on major corporations. They're going to kill these small businesses and they're going to, they're going to kill the average American person that's the consumer.

Inflation Bill With Sinema and Manchin's Backing Is Horribly Misnamed

"Thanks to a an abject surrender by both Joe Manchin and Kristen sinema. I guess we should have known this was coming. They remain anchored in the Democratic Party. I've had some hopeful queries to the contrary, but clearly mansion deep in his heart is a Democrat. And he has used his influence as a cinema to produce some maybe slight scale backs and moderation. And certainly delays. In the democratic effort to throw money at the economy. And what makes the whole thing I think so repulsive is the attempt to now do that, which is bad enough. But then to label it, the quote inflation reduction act. I mean, this is taking hotspot to an embarrassing level here because let's think about it. What is inflation? Inflation is too much money, chasing the same number of goods. If you expand the amount of money that is hurled into the economy and the amount of goods in the economy remains the same, you're going to get more inflation. So true, the Biden people are saying, we're going to save money here. We're going to save money there. That often becomes a kind of prediction, which may or may not come to pass. "Also think this goes to polling and elections is the executive director of net roots was quoted as saying progressives tend not to fund infrastructure. Hello. Yeah. If I could tell liberal college students, we're going to send a bus to the school to pay for you to come out there, got a dorm set up. Here's a food card. I can get my numbers up to 5000 tomorrow, but I can't raise that kind of money on the left. We always get accused of getting funded by George Soros. I'd kill to be funded by George Soros. We've been told that none of us we've asked George himself George and he said no. But yeah, media matters says there's no way to recreate the conservative convention circuit without a more muscular progressive media to support it. I mean, it's just they say, even if the media environment were completely different liberals still might not flock to a cpac counterpart. And here's the quote, the Democratic Party is a coalition party of 57 different single issue voters. It's so much easier for the Republican Party to stay on message because there's so monolithic. On the left, it's like herding cats. Right. And he was talking about our conventions. We don't have Joe Biden's face on our shirts. We don't have tattoos of Barack Obama on our arms, the hats, the putting on your cars, have you ever seen a build back better on a T-shirt? He thinks few on the left would go to a progressive version of cpac certainly he wouldn't absolutely not. And they was talking about at our events like net roots. The protesters are our protesters on our side. Protesting people. Liberal enough. So what do we do about that before the mentor? Because certainly we've proven we could get this done. We heard it enough cats to get this amazing Bill through the inflation, right? How do we keep our coalition together? Because I think we just have to, I mean, you know what's funny because we always hear from Republicans personal responsibility. But that's really what it's about. It's about personal responsibility. You have to do what you can. If you can go register voters, go register voters if you can phone bank, do that. If all you can do is vote for whatever reason, go do that. Talk to friends. "More than half of the agency's audits in 2021 were directed at taxpayers with incomes less than $75,000, according to the IRS data. So I think we can extrapolate fairly forward that double the number of audits that were done last year are going to happen this year. Because that's where the money is to quote, Richard blumenthal, and Ben cardin. I just want to tell you, I'm only IRS people are fine. I've only known one well. Fred Lynn, went to the lord a few years ago, was in my church for a long time. I think he was the regional director of the IRS out of Orange County, California when I lived in Orange County. Fred was a great and good man. I'm sure everything done on his watch with ethical. And I think most of the IRS people like most of the FBI agents like most of everyone everywhere tries to do the right thing. But if you're working for the IRS and you're an audit and the boss gives you ten files and you bring back 10,000, you haven't found anyone violated the law. This is the boss saying, good job, way to go. Or does the boss say, you must be incompetent. Maybe the goodbye says, you know, let's go over these with you because it's very rare for ten out of ten to come back zero. So let's go over these with you and you double audit those people. And if there's still nothing wrong, those people have been double audited, and they say, okay, let's take another ten. And you really turned down the script on that because every IRS agents metric is what do they find and what do they bring in? Because the other thing they said in The Washington Post is that every dollar spent on pursuing audit yields $10 in revenue. So

How Can Parents Push Back Against Chemical Castration Drugs?

"We as parents push back if our kids go to government schools on our kids possibly getting chemical castration drugs? I'm very worried about this. Thanks so much. This is something that's a huge problem. And it's happening more and more. Biden assistant secretary for health, Levine, said that we need to empower kids to go on puberty blockers. So let me be very clear. If America had a any ounce of sanity, Richard Levine would be court martialed and arrested and have to post bail for saying something like this. In fact, I believe Richard Levine should be arrested. For the widespread promotion of child abuse for saying this, play cut 64. So we really want to debase our treatment and to affirm and to support an empower these youth not to limit their participation in activities and sports. And even a limit their ability to get gender affirmation treatment in their state. How is that how is that any different than someone saying on television? We need to have young kids on cocaine and heroin. How is that any different? You are pushing life altering chemical castration drugs that show to increase depression, suicide rates, self harm, social isolation, outside of parental guidance and support. The direct quote is we need to empower kids to go on puberty blockers and get sexual reassignment surgery. You know the only community that really likes that pharmaceutical companies because that's a gold mine of the therapists, not doing therapy. They're doing affirmation therapy, which is the opposite of therapy, and kicking it on over to kids. Here is a bunch of drugs. Here's a bunch of chemicals. Yeah, you might want to kill yourself, be super depressed and anxious. Don't worry, we have Xanax benzodiazepines, and we have all these other drugs for you. But that comes later. These rush to judgment bills, what I call them. And I had to deal with this in the judiciary committee as ranking member with Jerry Nadler over and over and over again. And then this new assault weapons ban plus, you know, really the overreaction of New York State to the Supreme Court case on the carry permit issue. So we got a lot to talk about. You, of course, buffalo and others sort of highlighted this again. Congress got to do something that got to do something got to do something. The first iteration of this was really before even the Supreme Court case and I want to get to that in just a minute. But this idea of this quote bipartisan gun Bill. That really at the end of the day, number one, you know, from my perspective, didn't do anything to take any of these shootings would have not touched them at all, but it actually had a lot of really problematic issues. Give me your take on it, and then let's dive into a little bit of it. Sure. Well, I think you said it well. Nothing that is in there is going to make people safer. It's actually going to endanger innocent gun owners. First of all, it gives millions of dollars to encourage states to pass red flag laws. Otherwise known as gun confiscation orders. Sadly, wherever these laws have been passed in the states, it's resulted in innocent people having their guns confiscated, illegitimately, without due process, and yet you see state after state after state that's passed these laws already and it hasn't stopped mass shootings from occurring.

"Your first quote This is your pilot speaking This is the most important announcement I have ever made That was a pilot on Alaska airlines midair on Monday just before he announced the end of what Oh mask Mandy Exactly the ending of the mask mandate On Monday a judge in Florida struck down the federal mask mandate on airplanes and public transit on the legal grounds of sounds fishy to me she said that the Centers for Disease Control exceeded their authority when they tried to control a disease Now people treated this like it was the end of this two and a half year pandemic It was amazing to celebrations I saw a sailor grab a nurse in Times Square and kiss her And now they both have COVID Did you guys celebrate Were you like yay No no didn't choose to celebrate You know I did love the videos though of just all of the people who you saw ripping their masks off and then the one person like every four seats who just looked like they wanted to kill everyone Right And oddly enough the irony is the other people are going to kill them Yeah And there you go Listen I'm happy I'm happy to not wear a mask But I'm gonna wear masks meaning the fact that people are cheering it I mean Jim Jordan supposedly tweeted something like Fauci loses people win It's not a competition Coronavirus is not a football game The mask is for your own safety First of all the fact that pilots are cheering this breaks my heart because pilots used to be good Now I'm waiting for the pilot to be like no mass and the election was fake We're starting the capitol I'd be like oh no I mean the least they could have done The least they could have done the pilots as they made these announcements could have been like they still could have stuck to standard Chuck Yeager's style pilot voice like hello ladies and gentlemen on your left you can now see the Grand Canyon on your right you can now see the ugly face of the person sitting next to you because you take off your mask That would have been that would have been better But no the celebration was weird I mean it was so tragic though that on Monday one flight experienced a sudden drop of cabin pressure and the oxygen masks dropped down and everybody else we don't have to anymore and sadly All right back to you Here is your next quote Are you still watching That prompt that we've all seen took on a new meaning this week when what streaming service announced record losses Netflix Yes.

"You ready to go I'm ready to go Let's do it Here's your first quote We want to thank Jeff Bezos for going to space Because what he was up there we were signing people up That was a man named Christian smalls thanking Jeff Bezos for helping him organize workers into Amazon's first ever what Unions Yes the union An Amazon warehouse in Staten Island has become the first to successfully vote in a union and some employees there even signed up for union prime where they are illegally fired for joining a union the very next day Now the organizers are amazing Christian smalls was an Amazon employee who got fired and decided to go back and unionize the place becoming the only person to ever enter an Amazon warehouse voluntarily And these guys are geniuses to get people to their union meetings They offered everybody freaked baked ziti and weed Right What Free baked ziti and weed to organize the union somewhere Jimmy Hoffa is like you couldn't just sprain somebody's kneecaps just for old time sake So what Amazon unions will things be falling off a trucks in New York much more accurately Exactly This fell off the truck right on your doorstep Exactly Now everybody is very excited because this is the first victory for unions in a long time When you think about it the Amazon organizers kind of had it easy because usually you have to convince people that your bosses are fat cats and mansions This time the boss is actually a sociopath who goes to space on his own penis rocket The problem is so Amazon is not happy and Amazon as you may know is a very powerful company and they're going to fight back with every tool of their disposal like for example on Amazon Prime right Instead of stand up the marvelous miss maisel will just rant about how unions are full of commies The next season of reacher will beat up anybody asking for health benefits On the downside If the teamsters don't deliver your package on time you don't complain That's true Yeah All right here is your next quote Players will still have the option of using the traditional method of finger flashing So finger flashing may soon be gone from what sport who season finally started this week Baseball Yes baseball.

"To go I'm ready All right for your first quote here is well known actor Daniel Radcliffe I'm dramatically bored of hearing people's opinions about it Mister Radcliffe became a true hero when he became the only person in Hollywood this week to refuse to offer an opinion on what incident at the Oscars I'm going to go ahead and guess the Will Smith slapping of Chris Rock incident That's exactly right The slap during last Sunday's award show actor Will Smith stood up and did us a favor He gave us all something to talk about other than the fact that we still haven't gotten around to seeing coda the best picture winner even though our parents told us it was very sweet Smith got up He slapped Chris Rock for making a joke about smith's wife's hair loss leading to a thousand news segments panel discussions essays on toxic masculinity and chivalry and violence in Hollywood and still nobody got the most important lesson Jokes about bald people are just not funny I have to agree I mean the amount of time I have hoped and wished silently that my wife would stand up for me and slap someone who made a comment down right there And she never did it 'cause all the time she was the one making the comment All right all three of you are have been stand up comedians And some people were like oh my God this is terrible This is going to encourage other people to get up and attack comedians for jokes they don't like Are you guys worried about your safety Yeah but it's nothing new Really Yeah I think that's the life man You're always Will Smith is always getting up out of the crowd and laying on you That's just how it works You would welcome a slap How about getting nachos thrown at you after you've ironed your shirt for an hour and a half People wrestling you in the parking lot Isn't that also when they serve food in comedy clubs That's the worst thing that's ever happened to me in a comedy club Just somebody just like loudly eating pie in front of me How do you loudly eat pie Exactly I guess I shouldn't have handed them the microphone Who goes to a comedy club to eat pie My audience Seriously I mean what Are you playing in clubs with the two dessert minimum One night only a Marie callender's It's cute that Daniel Radcliffe didn't want to say anything about it That's really that's really cute I did this ten day silent retreat before which I haven't stopped talking about it since And I was certainly wishing I was back there this week So I get it It's a little Harry Potter After an entire week the incident has been so talked to death it's going to be the finale of next year's in memoriam reel All right Here is your next quote I can't remember Was anything happening on that day that Donald Trump might have been talking with people about That was Dan Rather throwing a little shade on the news that The White House logs show Trump made no phone calls for over 7 and a half hours on what particular day The January 6th insurrection Exactly right January 6th 2021 the generates 6th committee finally got the call record from Donald Trump's White House and the day of the insurrection And it starts out you know how you'd expect with lots of calls in the morning to Rudy Giuliani via The White House switchboard and calls to Stephen Miller by drawing a pentagram on the floor Then nothing nothing For 7 and a half hours During the attack on the capitol itself what happened It's possible it is staff just gave him a toy phone to distract him Yes I know the cow says moo I need to speak to the general By the way can we just say that January 6th is my birthday Oh I don't know how to say that Congratulations All day long Trump called me and we were on the phone for 7 hours Talking about my brother Oh my God girl Yes In the olden days didn't they record everything in the Oval Office Well Richard Nixon did that and then nobody has it into ever did that again because dick Nixon did that and it didn't work out well for him Wow spoiler I haven't read it yet Sorry I haven't gotten up to Nixon yet Hold on No there's a good movie about it with Robert Redford You'll enjoy it I don't know why everyone's suspicious and thinks that he may be hiding something I mean he was flushing documents down a toilet Yes You think he might have flushed the phone down there Maybe that's where the phone went Maybe that's where he flushed the records and then the January 6th committee finds out and they're like yeah no we can live without it It's funny Do you have those rubber gloves that go up to your shoulder All right here is your last quote On the typical day it saves our members an astonishing 195 years That was a senior executive at Netflix as he was celebrating the 5th anniversary of what innovative feature Is it the ability to skip the intros or skip to the next That's exactly what it is Well done This intro about Wow Netflix's director of product innovation said this week that the skip intro button saves users almost 200 years worth of time every day which by coincidence is just enough time to watch Grey's Anatomy from start to finish But the way he put it it's such a strange thing to brag about oh you saved people 195 years every day with your skip intro button So what you're.

"Voicemail You ready to go Sure Okay Here's your first quote Let's know for the gold That was one of elite dailies 35 captions guaranteed to get you Instagram likes when you are posting about what big event that wraps up this weekend The Olympics The Olympics that's right Fred 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics are coming to a close It was an amazing thrilling Olympics especially for the 18 people who actually watched it because they will be able to lure it over the rest of us forever There was drama victory heartbreak For example this is true a skier was a shoo in for the gold medal when he suddenly went the wrong way Uphill Well he wasn't a downhill skier But wouldn't it have been cool if he were Well okay I guess they want me to climb back up That's new Did you guys watch the Olympics at all No Oh absolutely not I really just consider it the thing that interrupts new episodes of comedy TV I'm like where are the new episodes of things And then it's like oh the Olympics is happening Right And they're not very funny I can't help but notice No No It was a very strange Olympics to watch because once again there were no crowds in all the stadiums because of COVID This was this was the Olympics for you if you like watching sports with an audience that's just other athletes texting It's like an improv show So few people watch these Olympics in fact we could just make up things that you missed Oh man I loved how this time in 2022 They combined biathlon with ski jump They just sat at the bottom of the jump of their rifles aimed them upwards and yelled pull Wait can I just say though They're so dangerous and just as a mother I want all of these athletes to turn in their skis for something a little sick for like a nice sport of walking or something It is so dangerous the way they are flying through the air and going at high speeds and I don't need it I'm very worried about all of them I'd like to see them introduce something like a winter ultimate frisbee Just things that are a little more fun casual I'm not sure Keep yourself up on your tiptoes for a long time Like something you know You realize you're basically you're basically describing curling you realize I'm okay with curling Yeah yeah yeah There you go All right Fred here is your next quote I love truckers That was a sign held by a man supporting the truckers who were protesting where Would it be Ottawa Canada Yes Canada so you got it The great Canadian truckers convoy protest had made its way across Canada and completely shut down the capital Its historic both as an active protest and because it's the first time anybody ever has said the words yes we made it to Ottawa They made this journey from British Columbia to auto way to protest vaccine mandates but they also brought an essential much needed shipment of fresh COVID to the city You know what's kind of brilliant A giant 18 Wheeler or 50 or a hundred however many 18 wheelers I was listening to a story that said you can't tow them because it takes an hour just to hook up the toe So even if the cops were like all right let's clear it out of here They just were like no It does suggest a great way to park wherever you want in the city Just drive an 18 Wheeler you know park wherever you lie You'll be done with your meal before they ever tow it away You're golden But I think one thing that you're not mentioning is that Trudeau also uses opportunity to unveil to the world his new haircut I did not notice this He's doing like a Justin Bieber 2015 kind of like swoop longer on one side thing And I feel like maybe this whole thing was just an elaborate excuse for him to show off his quote Now one of the things that helped bring this protest to the end was a group called the ram ranch resistance Well what's that you ask Well infiltrated the convoys online planning meetings they kind of zoom bomb them and they repeatedly played this 2012 heavy metal song ram ranch Which is about quote 18 naked cowboys in the extremely graphic things they do to each other And look that might have been funny the first time but the more they played this song the funnier it got All right Fred your last quote is from the owner of a Mexican restaurant who has started making his guacamole With zucchini You have to tell people it's not guacamole This guy had to do this not because he's some sort of sadist but thanks to a new ban on the importation of what That'll be avocados It would be Fred avocados Americans have banned the importation of avocados from Mexico Yes you know what this means without avocado toast to tempt them millennials will finally be able to buy a house The U.S. has blocked shipments of avocados from Mexico after a threat was made against an American avocado inspector there Yes avocado inspector is a real job and not just something I say before I still guacamole from a stranger's plate It's all right sir I'm an avocado inspector And also it was like the cartels were involved weren't they Well this is the crazy thing right Yeah I don't have any problem with Yeah And I agree the avocados deserved it The U.S. only allows the importation of avocados from Mexico after they are inspected by American officials in Mexico and one of these inspectors was apparently threatened by a cartel so the U.S. instantly ended imports Now it is not an avocado cartel It's a drug cartel although an avocado cartel would be kind of hilarious They mark their victims by putting a toothpick through them and putting them in a glass of water on the windowsill But quick question is the cocaine still coming through Absolutely We would never do anything You know me hilarious the desperate to get good Mexican guacamole They started smuggling the avocados inside kilos of Coke Right Yeah the cocaine masks the smell of the avocado The cocaine smugglers standing there only in a sweat and bullets while the inspector is like poking the kilos and Coke with his knife looking for that cocaine It's just Coke I do hope they resolve this soon because nobody wants to eat like New Jersey avocados those are just decommissioned hand grenades Bill how did Fred doing our quiz Not only did he win three in a row but he began a new career Congratulations Thank you so much Thank you so much man Take care.

"The state of Texas. And yet In there. Um, I don't know, into in their politics and their policy in their governance. They they're on a different planet, and they have elected a governor Governor Greg Abbott. And you know they have a different Um System in Texas than they used to back when, uh I don't know. Rick Perry was governor, um or or you know George Bush was Um You know, the governor has a lot more power in Texas and they used to. They have to used to have a very, very weak government system. Now they only have a very, very weak mentally weak. Governor. So he signed the anti abortion bill. And today he signed the anti voter bill to make sure you know only good. White. Flu in people could bone Texas. Today. Greg Abbott, governor of Texas. Defending Their abortion ban. He defended his state's six week abortion ban today, dismissing concerns That it does not provide exceptions for pregnancies that resulted from rape or incest. This is Governor Greg Abbott, he said. First quote. It provides at least six weeks per person to be able to get an abortion. Unquote spoken like a true Male. It gives you six weeks. What Mark did you want? Usually takes that long to find out. You're pregnant. It gives you six weeks on there and that rape thing and honestly, this is what Greg Abbott said today. About the lack of exceptions for rape or incest. He said. Well, rape is a crime. And rape is going to Texas is going to do away with rape altogether. There will not be rape in Texas. Therefore, the bill is a good bill. Honestly, I I this is I'm not making this up. Quote, Rape is a crime. And Texas will work tirelessly to make sure we eliminate all rapists from the streets of Texas. Buy aggressively going out and arresting them. And prosecuting them. And getting them off..

"They wanted correspondence from him, and he didn't give any. I'm not sure if he was able to, uh, you know, uh, claim executive privilege or whatever it was So to me, this kind of hints that they were trying to go around his legal protections and go straight to Apple. I think that again. We don't know a lot about them again. Peace at this point, but given that it was coming, um from from the president's own Department of Justice, it doesn't seem like that They were somehow going road in that regard, Although I will say one interesting note here, um Any time. There's a subpoena like this. That's that's going to someone that raises issues like this, um and is going to be under scrutiny that's almost always signed off on personally indirectly by either the attorney general or for some reason, he is recused from a very senior deputy, and in this case We have both of President Trump's attorney generals, as well as the deputy attorney general, all apparently indicating they don't recall this ever coming up. Which tells me someone else signed off on it. So it will be interesting to note who ultimately signed off on this that it certainly does raise that potential. It definitely does. We're going to keep an eye on this, Alex and see where this develops and will definitely give you a call back. And discussing it further length. How about that? That would be fantastic. All right. Thank you so much, Alex. Alex Vogel with the Vogel Group, former Senate majority Leader chief counsel Now look For me. I am sceptical. I mean, I've I've gotten to the point now where journalism basically doesn't exist anymore. Uh, everyone has a spin. No matter what side you're on, everyone has a spin. And The second that I saw this. One other one other thing with Don McGahn, his wife apparently got a notice of the same kind now, uh, one quote source. Saying that Apple received a subpoena February 23rd and another source saying it came from a federal grand jury. There is Really no corroboration on this. We can't really confirm this. But look, they're going after the wife. Going after Don McGahn after Don McGahn, Uh, said that he would not come and testify. He wasn't going to do it. He knew that the Russian hoax was bogus, and he had executive privilege. He is the White House senior counsel. So to try to force him in there wasn't going to work. So what did they do? They went around him. And of course, it was the Trump Department of Justice. Do you think when we look back over history, how many people in the Department of Justice under Trump? We're trying to get him. It's pretty much everybody My feeling about the attorney General William Barr, which was a mistake. To appoint him. William Barr was total swamp. And my feeling is that he was put there, uh, to protect the information and not go after anyone and really get to the bottom of anything. John Durham. Anybody seen him? He doesn't even exist all that we've seen one photograph that's act. But these guys were after Trump and trying to cover themselves and we're going to keep an eye on this and see where it goes..

"That makes sense okay even when i did design and color and art. It's very strategic process. I have computer. science crowned. Love it so it's like yeah it's very step-by-step like if a then b l see somebody like that i'm sorry i love it. I really encourage everyone to take a look at your website which will be linked the shout out because it explains as in depth in. It's just super super cool. Like there's this the first quote. I noticed on your website is it says to be a better mom wife emboss girl. You need to be inspired. Your environment can nourish in fulfill you don't you i mean i love that because i don't want women's homes to be all about the work i want them to walk into their home and feel certain way like restful Happy content. But i also love that you put in there inspired productive so talk about a little bit you know. How does this system of color us be more productive. Yes so because that's my favorite topic. I think it's important to understand. That colors are not merely aesthetics day. Are they manica survival mechanism in our everyday life and many people just are not aware that how the human brain processes color and because of that way color is no more about aesthetics it turns into emotional and psychological it creates some emotional and psychological in firm impact in the human mind and body so once we understand that it's like taking vitamins. So people a you know. I want to be inspired to use some colors in my space. But do you ever. Sam wanted to be inspired to take some white emits. No right so we'll now is. Every color is equal to an emotion because color is color just doesn't even exist colors just phenomena it's light reflected wavelength of light and lightest process in our brain so depending on the wavelength of the light. That's how you measure light every how yes a wavelength of light how it's processed in. The brain is equal to different emotions. Every color creates a different emotion. Is that making sense so far. Oh absolutely okay so just like your body needs all the vitamins. It's not about being inspired. It's not about saying Amyloid amon taylor away. Wiedeman ill ever no. You're not because what your body needs is what you're going to nourish so similarly have psychological and emotional needs and you need to. You can use color to help. Fulfill goes means you are not using willpower and motivation. That's coming from the inside for you to be productive or you to be happy or joyful..

"I am the big All right, Let's do it. Your first quote is from Republican Congressman Matt gets It's a niche that doesn't go away with just one scratch. The House of Representatives scratched that itch by doing what for the second time this week Trump Yes, they impeached Donald Trump. President Trump became the first president in history to be impeached twice or we should say, really impeached twice. So far, he still has a few days to go for the hat trick. Now it seemed. I don't know if you guys felt this, But to me, it seemed anticlimactic. Maybe because it happened so quickly, Maybe because we had seen and heard it all before Nancy Pelosi even wore the same dress. That she wore to the first impeachment. And remember everybody told her Don't spend that much or in something you'll only wear once but it was. I mean, we were trying to figure out how to Express. How sort of weirdly disappointing it was. It was like a second wedding. No one was that excited by that There was no impeachment shower for the president. And he insists that of course, it was the second impeachment. So no gifts just donations to his legal defense fund. This'll was like the the elopement of impeachments. Sort of It was like it was a shotgun impeachment. Would use that fresh. It's Yeah, the Republicans literally brought shotguns in there is true through the metal detector, maybe was like the Ghostbusters two of impeachment because they tried to conjure the magic of the first one with the same people and it's just not there, man. Now, just to say it. It doesn't look like we'll be impeached before he naturally leaves office. Apparently, the impeachment can't even begin until after Biden is inaugurated. There were some leaks from Mitch McConnell, not actual news. Just leaks. It was kind of gross. Uh, I feel like that doesn't abide by NPR standards right there. They're McConnell as legs. Lawmaker coming who I would expect it from. It would be Mitch McConnell. Like true he looks like a guy who before he comes to the Senate has to claw his way out of a grave being pulled in by the hounds of Hell heard the agreement and he yelled, I beg you one more day. That's his morning commute. All right. Very good. Here is your next quote Tom. Dry January seems a bit extreme. This year. I'm going to do damp January. That was a guy named Sam Elmore on Twitter. He was one of thousands of people who were giving up on their vow to not do what during the month of January. Not drink alcohol, not drink alcohol. Exactly right now. For those who don't know, dry January is this sort of new tradition with thousands of Americans make a pledge to not drink. For the month of January sort of as a detox. But a week and a half into this January thousands made a different pledge F that so instead of dry January, the people who took that vow our giving themselves, you know, permission to kind of break it. They're calling it Damp January or damp. You ery not dump you ery, Which is what Rich people call their bathrooms damp You ery also sounds like what Mitch McConnell is leaking. Do not light a cigarette around Mitch McConnell and he's damp. You wearing dark, dark times. Hard times? Yeah. Isn't it more rational to Drink rather than be sober. I mean, sober is a little bit depressing. Don't you think? We'll push e mean Muslims? So every month for me is dry January, Uh on, I'm spending too. Anyway, doing a full glow up. I've got six pack abs. I'm working towards 12. I'm also working with a six pack and again, but it's of Mickle o e. I mean, if you if you are one of these people who said I'm not gonna drink for January, and you just Couldn't do it Be easy and yourself. Nobody is keeping any of the resolutions this year. You know, I had a resolution not to storm the capital. I didn't even make it a week. E thought I saw you in one of those one of those tapes. Peter, you made use of your old burning man costume or but listen, if you are doing dry January Just stick to it. If you make it to the whole month, you get to enjoy quaff or wet ass February. All right, Tom, Here is your last quote. No. No. That was a writer, a geek, reacting to the announcement that HBO is rebooting a beloved TV serious from almost 20 years ago, what show will revisit the lives of four beloved women in New York? Oh, sex in the city. Sex in the city. Exactly. That's right. They're going to do a reboot of sex in the city, the show about single women in New York that debuted 23 years ago. One of the four stars Kim Control wants nothing to do with the show now, so it'll be like, Hey, are you carry of Charlotte and Miranda or not participating Now, if you haven't been following the drama with Miss Miss Control, she's feuding with the rest of the cast their very stories as to why but is probably the usual things with friends and colleagues. A slight here a missed birthday there. One person gets $3 million per episode. The other gets free 100,000 for doing the same job that can lead to tension. That describes our pay disparity on this show. Peter, you've got to re negotiate your contract because I'm getting paid handsomely. I think I think that he is the more interesting question, which is that Samantha was arguably the most interesting character. She was the most liberated. She was. The most genuinely feminist. And so if you take away most of the sex, then you've just now got three middle aged women with anyone watch a show called and the city. Another problem is that is 2021. None of those women could afford to live in New York now will have to be called Sex and the New Jersey Yeah, But what's really great about the show is that HBO didn't have to have any new ideas. So did a nice recycling job. I'm glad, though. They're using the original cast, though. I mean, without Kim Cattrall, right? It's not. They have not recast. These characters with, you know, 31 year old women. These were these were the original. My understanding is that the exception of this control? The original actors are coming back that I'm glad about that. And then they bring it back a third time when the group has moved to Florida and live in the same house, And then there's just a golden girls reboot, so see, there's just a long tail for this program. Well, how did Tom do on our quiz? 30? He got a perfect score, Tom. Thank you, Tom for playing And next time we come to Atlanta, we will look forward to seeing you. Great talking to you, too. Take care. Thank.

"They're just the first time Homebuyer looking for that first quote or more importantly, you need that second or third opinion because you're just not sure what's the right decision absolutely free. All you gotta do is text the word fun to 411 92 3. That's fun. Nephew and 2411 92 3. Let's stay on this little anecdotal train that we got going on here. Coming up at the end of the year. I mean, that was just a great story. What's the first thing or story that pops in your head when I say what was your biggest win this year or a big win? This year. Oh, my goodness. Well, I mean, in my opinion, one that we worked on together where kind of, you know a little bit into the transaction. We ended up having to do a re score and having to kind of restructure the lone halfway through that still closed closed a little bit earlier than we had anticipated. Even with Some troubles that came up that would I would say that would be my biggest win, and it's the whole thing I attributed to is just us paying attention and communicating throughout the whole process, because that could have been missed you no further in and then we wouldn't have had time to fix it. So really, I'm that and just, you know, I have the stories of saving people money on closing costs and interest rate every single day, and it just makes me feel so good. Because, really, they're not getting anything special like this is just what we offer. But the fact that you know they feel like sometimes Oh, we won the lottery like I'm so excited to save all this money. It makes me feel so good to be able to help put people in a better position. I do have one minor story. Just this week. One of our listeners texted into refinance. Yeah, and she wants to go to nursing school and they weren't gonna be able to do it. Budget wise. We looked at the refinance, save them a few $100 a month in a minor story. That's his good as a get. Well, it's very constant. This happens a lot so, but it's not like it necessarily changed her life. But she viewed it as if it changed her life. Like I could go to nursing school now, and you know this is helping us budget properly and you know, and I mean, she literally said, I feel like I won the lottery. Where do I sign? And I cannot tell you how amazing that made me feel when we're just doing what we do every single day. You know, there are options out there. Help people save money or help them get into their dream home get into their second or third dream home, and that's what's so beautiful about what we do as a team even is people continuously come back to us because they bought that first house, never thinking that was possible, and we made it possible and then their dreams just continue, So it's it's pretty exciting..

"Here is your first quote waited in line for over an hour to do it. You have got a free sandwich. So it was worth it. That was a woman named Sarah Kay on Twitter. She was one of the millions of people who waited in long lines to do what this week. Early voting Yes, indeed, last week before Election Day, although these days it's really election season or election, ongoing nightmare from which we cannot wake Seriously. The 2020 election is one of those annoying people who say it's my birthday month. We may not know who won until long after November 3rd what with all the mail in ballots, desperately long lines, fights over fraud and the fact that all of Florida's votes are counted by 1 87 Year old woman from Boca named Doris. But don't worry. She expedites the process by throwing out any names she can't pronounce. Have you guys been out to vote yet? Have you done it, Lord? So first of all this, this quotation this woman says she stood in line for an hour and that's long. I don't know what it's like where you all are. But But the lines in New York City are afford to six hours long, and there's already enough urine on the sidewalks of New York. We don't need this. This. This is in fact, one of the things that's been going on this kind of throw down about what trouble people had to go through to vote. People who like I stood in line for hours while I stood in line, 10 hours, and my phone battery died, so I had to play Bejeweled with pebbles they found on the sidewalk. Well, I'm not a citizen, but I think I'm gonna vote. Just so I have the worst story like I voted got arrested. Adam just head on down to Florida. There are no rules down there. I'm going down there to vote three more times. I should say it's mostly Democrats talking about standing in long lines for hours, but to be fair. Don Jr did lines for four hours on Monday. The frustrating thing is that after all this buildup, we will not know who won on Election day. We'll have to spend a week staring at returns coming in trying to figure out what each data point means. It's like your doctor deciding to tell you whether or not you have cancer via charades. To to what? Two weeks more What Mar? All right, Leslie, you're next quote is from a team official for the Dodgers. We're going to get a picture and then get him off the field. "Your first quote is from a doctor who ended up much in the news this week. Most of these diseases are evil deposits from the spirit husband. That was Dr Stella Emmanuel, who, this week or at least for a moment became the favorite doctor, of whom I have to guess. Trump. Yes, you guessed correctly. Move over. Dr Fauci. The President's new Dr McDreamy is Dr Stella Immanuel. She believes demons are having sex with us while we sleep. Seriously. Politicians are secretly lizards that's also serious. Doctors make medicines from alien DNA a seriously and the magic eight ball Israel. Wait, Can I silver lining this for just a quick sec and point out is that she's an immigrant. And like for Donnie, to say anything positive about immigrants was so right. You are grasping at straws and I applaud you. Yes, a pandemic. We have it. It is nice that this woman came to America and achieved the American dream of spreading lunacy for profit making that silver lining is so heavy clouds air falling out of the sky and crushing Ah, and the reason Trump retweeted her and loved her is that she Was in favor of hydroxy chlor quick, she said, And this got videotaped and then spread by right wing media that she has been treating her patients with hydroxy Clark went and they've all done incredibly well, she says. Like how much can one president love? Hydroxy chloral Quinn? You know what I mean? Like he can that stop. It's like he's He's like flirting with it all the time sending it signals constantly. I'm gonna point this woman out to my Korean parents who have been trying to get me to become a doctor. So five and be like, you know, this is what you want. All right. Very good. "Ready to go I'm ready but I'm nervous don't be nervous here's your first quote let us begin where our founders began in seventeen seventy six that was Nancy Pelosi on Thursday not writing her essay for AP history but instead announcing the house of representatives was going to do what they were going to and vote to impeach the president months they're gonna write articles of impeachment but close enough they're going to impeach him very good on on Thursday Nancy Pelosi formally announced the house would be drawing up articles of impeachment against the president which is one pundit actually put it guarantees the president is going to have a place in the history books you know because before this history books just would have read all yeah from twenty sixteen to twenty twenty nothing much happened it was chill ms hello she was very solemn but her announcement of this momentous event was kind of flat I thought it strange to be a bad speaker when it is literally the name of your job but then she was walking off stage member this and somebody said you hate the president and she got really angry it was an action movie mode was a bit like she's turned back and went back to the podium and she laid this guy low she said that that as a Catholic she doesn't hate anyone on quote because the Catholic Church of course is now is traditionally very loving where he was deemed yeah but face almost moved to you guys I'll give you guys agree with me that you thought that her her announcement as many of her spread scripted announcements tend to be was not that great well it couldn't be at this point because I think everybody was like we didn't we already determined this yeah season eight of game of thrones you're either watching at this point you're not that's true your authority or not it's like so it's like a car plummeting off a cliff in halfway down somebody says I would like to announce we're going to be striking out however it was probably in the in more interesting than the hearing the day before that was one four law professors testified before the Judiciary Committee that's a great way to grab the nation's attention law professors that's why chairman Jerry now this first question was is this going to be on the exam your next quote is from Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau you just watch his team's jaws dropped to the floor now that was Mister Trudeau speaking when he was caught on camera gossiping with other world leaders making fun of whom maybe trump yes maybe drop yes you know was caught on camera that he apparently didn't notice speaking at a party during the NATO summit he's talking to three other world leaders including Boris Johnson they were making fun of trump the does that things like he's always late because it was crazy press conferences his own staff can't believe Nancy is there was one inaudible phrase but she does seem to be saying I'm sorry I'm Canadian I'm not allowed to be any meaner because seriously was this like his idea of trash talk we can help the evo you what's his team's jaws drop to the floor try he looks like a basketball when the Pillsbury doughboy had a baby or he thinks world affairs is just cheating with another Slovenian model put some work into it just then the other thing is that he ran on the other nations in the world are laughing at us yes under Obama president all make sure they do so on camera he did so he got so angry at them laughing in these canceled his last events and he flew home a day early on airforce one he was so upset he even was willing to pay the two hundred dollar flight change fee he was he then he got upset and he called Trudeau quote two faced which is accurate one of them is black and then.

Wade I mean that within you know he he he got frightened to death the the affordable Care Act and they manage to brow beat him into changing his vote to overturn it to supporting itself the key here is watch Robert he's the ballgame and if he decides he's going to turn on trump and try to do everything we can to take positions on issues to hurt the president and you know we're gonna have an ugly turn let me what do you think of Brett Kavanaugh do you think that all the pressure on him has is to scared him in any way to becoming a square sure is it made him more of a conservative justice no I think capital it's pretty stable fellow I mean I've watched him over the years he's a he's a very impressive guy intellectually Roberts obviously Kate I I don't think capital every do that I think he was obviously hurt very badly as a person by what happened in during the confirmation process he survived it managed to be a superb justice on the Supreme Court writing beautiful opinions very informed but as long as the public if you know the Democrats are gonna trying dirty him up and accuse them of this that and the other thing they don't care they don't care about the court you don't care about the court image they always claim to care about the rule of law the Democrats do not care about the rules what they care about power they are perfectly happy to destroy the Supreme Court or add five more members to it or ten more members or get rid of due process or the presumption of into it presumption of innocence or the right of cross examination the Democrats are not and in the course of destroying every institution in the country they're happy to do it if they get power that's what this is all about all these little side shows the cases in the Supreme Court the whistle blower this is it this is a big game for power is to destroy institutions so the Democrats can have power it's a pretty ugly thing that's why I say we're in a civil war yeah and so you basically see the courts splitting and then you see Roberts as as the is a wild card he's the one that we don't know when I didn't think he would are you I don't think there's any way out a way to look at the court Roberts is a swing vote these become that the new Kennedy and you know what we we we are in a much better place than we were before gore such and cabin all got there they've been a marvelous contribution to the court superb jurist great thinkers Robert is of course sort of the funny penny that you find on the ground and you never know what the pain he's going to do going to be head of the tail is the proper stages you know you hope and pray to god that he has some sense of honor and dignity about the institution of the court and doesn't become some sort of political way it's gonna be interesting a lot of as I said important cases a second amendment case coming up you've got LGBT Q. with the protection and and all sorts of and doctor there's also a doctor case coming up as well a lot of things to talk about immigration yeah Joe thank you so much we always appreciate you joining us seven twenty three on WMAL it's cutting into your exercise time it's stabbing you in the back.

Comedian performing in Charlotte North Carolina at the night feeder on April thirteenth. She's the host of the podcast. Nobody listens to Bala Poundstone. I gave it away. It's Paula Poundstone. Elizabeth you're of course, they're gonna play who's Bill this time. It's how we start every show. Bill Curtis is going to reach the three quotations and the week's news your job, as you know, correctly identified just two of them do that you win our prize? The voice of anyone you may like from our show on your voice, man. Your first, quote is a man talking to Republican allies of President Trump unresponsive for your silliness. Because did the same thing that you're doing now for ten years? Who's the guy warning Republican members of congress don't be like me? Well, I'd probably have to go. With Michael Cutler now would have to go with Michael Cohen. But don't go. Don't go too far with him. He's heading to jail the completely discredited liar. Who absolutely should not be trusted spent a whole day on Capitol Hill saying a bunch of things we all completely believe President Trump's former lawyer told the country about how the president was quote, a racist a con man and cheat which Michael Cohen just wouldn't stand for which is why he quit after just ten years. That's appropriate. He's going to jail. And of course, ten years is traditionally the iron bar anniversary. Now, the Republicans just went after him they yelled at him. They called him a liar in a fraud. They even end this. I tell you America is true. They held up a big poster with his face and the words liar liar pants on fire. They did that. And as embarrassing as that was it was better than the earlier draft. Whoever smelt it dealt. Also, he wouldn't hold up that sign that said, I'm rubber you're glue. It was devastating frustrated that this is this is interesting. There was there was somebody who crunched numbers on this. And there is a water bottle in front of Michael Cohen on screen with its which with its label facing America for six something hours. It was six hundred and fifty thousand dollars worth of free advertising. Anybody's gonna go out there so them at the bison dishonor, the favorite brand of Michael Cohen relay. Really kind of makes you wonder how like this could be monetize. There could be some. We're all riveted. We don't even get labeled. Public radio. Thing is I never even noticed the water bottle, nor did I notice the label and yet he did look hydrated. So if I knew what our company it was I might well gravitate towards them. I love learning that that Trump said that the the person with the worst judgment in the world is Donald Trump junior high finally agree with something. Finding out in that way. What your parents said about you? All right. Elizabeth your next quote, oh, how happy it's the president of the United States when we walked away. It was very friendly walk. Mr. Trump surprised everybody by walking away in a friendly fashion, of course, from a deal with whom. I guess that would have to be Kim. Jon, yes, Kim Jong indicator. So when the president flew to Hanoi for his second summit with Kim Jong UN people were worried because he was so eager to claim credit for a deal who knew what he would do North Korea might get their sanctions lifted they might continue with a nuclear program and also be given Oregon. But an amazing thing happened the president just walked away bad deal..
