AZ Senate Candidate Jim Lamon Describes What He Looks for in a Judge
"What will you be looking for in judges? It's a very important part of a U.S. senator, which is approving or rejecting judge nominees from a president. Very simple. U.S. Constitution is what this country is built on. Amen. If you don't like it, there's great places for you to go. I've offered and in fact one lady took me up on it. We're working with her right now for that one way ticket to Caracas. Oh, she is? She has to live there at least 5 years and never ask for a dime. And that is redone nor voted. I would love to send a camera crew with her. When there's no running water and foods infected and you lose 12 pounds in the first month. Oh, it's like a great weight loss strategy though. Those are opportunities. If you want to go there and be that. But in our judges, you know, we've got a constitution. It's very clear to me it was written with a lot of great insight with a lot of people who love this country. And a good lord that helped them through the writing of that is just a beautiful document. That's number one in the core principle. It's not to invent laws. That's not their job. We have a judicial legislative executive branch. And that's what they were set up for. Also, with the legislative side, you need to get back to doing your job. Don't let the executive group run wild with endless wars. Oh, I totally agree. Don't let them put the State Department in charge of an operation in Afghanistan when the military should be the last out. And that was a disgrace what happened? The faces of those 13, 13. Every day we come to work. Guys, this is why it's so important. Yes. This kind of thing must stop now.

Jack Posobiec Gives Us the Latest Updates on the Texas Synagogue Hostage-Taker
"Jack pasovic is a good friend of mine. He does a great job and we're going to talk to him about a lot of different stuff. Jack, welcome back to the program. Charlie always a pleasure. So Jack, something happened over the weekend that seems to be memory hold. There was a hostage situation, which is rare. We don't always see that. It happened at a synagogue. Tell us the story. What happened? Charlie, so there's the story that we got in terms of the real-time situation as it was reported to us through the media. And now there's the story that's beginning to emerge through the reporting that's come out over the past few days. So the story that we got at least in terms of as it broke publicly was that at a Beth Israel congregation synagogue outside of Dallas, Texas, a terrorist took hostage, a rabbi and three of the congregants there and held him in a ten hour siege. With a local authorities and the FBI, all while demanding the release of a woman who has been in captivity and prison in the U.S. for many years, she's referred to as lady Al-Qaeda. She's also her name is afia siddiqui. She's someone that's been on the Al-Qaeda list for many, many years as one of the very first detainees was picked up in Afghanistan years ago. She's held for not only being a terrorist and providing material support to Al qaida and the Taliban, but also for attacking soldiers trying to shoot soldiers with a rifle here in the U.S. and a hospital. It's a long story, but she's someone who's been held and that care national, by the way, has actually been holding fundraisers and events and support events for this terrorist who's been convicted over the years behind the scenes for years. They've been publicly holding events supporting this terrorist. And so this guy comes over. Now we've now learned he came over traveled from the UK to the U.S. utilized really exploited homeless shelters in New York City and then Dallas as he made his way across the United States in what seems to be a planned operation from a known jihadist, someone who is known to UK authorities somehow the FBI lets this guy in doesn't pick him up on their radar. We hear from President Biden of all people, tells us that this guy somehow was able to obtain an illegal weapon while here in the United States. And so this has all the hallmarks. It's shaping up to be a planned operation from an overseas terrorist cell and he may have had help here in the United

Like it's great to have it's good to have the ultimate revenge. These are like classics, aren't they? They're like classical tales are like beowulf or something like that. But they're stuff in there that you can read about how women felt deeply their injustices and how they used the power that they had. And what is at the beating agent heart of Iceland and its desire for gender equality. So I found them really fascinating to read. Listeners get this book, it's currently on pre order and it is called secrets of this by Eliza Reed. Let's do a fully recommend you go on holiday to Iceland and pat by this book and read underplay and Underwood. And it's published in the UK on international women's day. Caller Jerry Describes His Experience Going Maskless in Chicago
"It's interesting to see how different Florida is from New York about masks. What about Chicago? That's where Jerry is, and he's been wearing maskless, I guess, in stores. Hey Jerry, how you doing? Well, real well, I wanted to let you know about my experiences. I'm in a suburb of Chicago. And I'm a Vietnam era marine. So God bless government misinformation for a long time now. Yes, sir. For the last two and a half, three months, I've been walking into grocery stores, hardware stores, big box stores, occasionally I'll see one or two other individuals without a mask. Nobody has said squat to me. Interesting. Interesting do you know what? I think if more people put up a fight, all this stuff will go by the wayside and we get back to normal living. Well, that's just it. And I hear that a lot. And of course, when people say that I go along with it and put a mask on because a ladies on the elevator with me and she's unhappy and asking me to put the mask back on, I get it. Think about the reasoning and the logic behind, we're all going to get COVID, but wear your mask.

Finally, Gov. Kathy Hochul Wants to Get New York's COVID Reporting Straight
"Is a classic. Here's governor Kathy hochul of New York cut number 7. This is classic for two years. You've called this radio show and you've said Mike, are they counting COVID cases, people who are in the hospital because of COVID or people who test positive while they're in the hospital? Well, two years in. Suddenly, New York governor Kathy hochul has noticed the discrepancy. So we're looking at a critical moment, but we also want to start asking some questions. We talk about the hospitalizations. I have always wondered, or looking at the hospitalizations of people testing positive in a hospital. Is that person in the hospital because of COVID or are they show up there and are routinely tested and showing positive? And they may have been asymptomatic or even just had the sniffles. Someone is in a car accident. They go the emergency room. They test positive for COVID while they're there. They're not there being treated for COVID. Now, someone's conditions can worsen while they're in the hospital. I'm not saying that won't happen. But I just been doing a random call around to some of the hospital leaders that I touched base with. And I'm seeing numbers from 20 to sometimes 50%, but we don't have clear data right now that anecdotal beginning tomorrow we're going to be asking all hospitals to break out for us. How many people are being hospitalized because of COVID symptoms? How many people are happening to be testing positive just while they're in there for other treatments? So I think that's important. I think I just want to always be honest with New Yorkers about how bad this is. Yes, the numbers, the sheer numbers of people infected are high. But I want to see whether or not the hospitalizations correlate with that. Oh, you don't say. You're a little late to the dance lady, better late than never, I guess, huh? And

"The fact the way i had to do it in my head and and kinda went to tell the guys took me awhile and a matter of fact i was watching another movie The pacifier within the as you know what man. If i when i got out of the teams and they transitioned me over and i was like. Oh i'm not team got anymore. I i'm going to be a husband and a filled different but then i was like wait a minute if i'm not out of the military my job my assignments to marry this hot lady kids in like raise them. That's your assignment out. Team guy that to no end wouldn't even be an issue number. That would be great. No trying to kill you you. You want to run this company. So that's a kuwaiti. Look at it. That's the only way we never get done. You're never out of the cycle so in the beginning of life. We're in the school house so that we can look out for you. Shorties man they get hurt easy. And then you keep growing into the field experiment and then your teammates i. It's bad as when you and i can work together. We we can get done but then when they throw the opposite in there because they cover down stuff. We can't see comment. I mean that we can't even begin to see when team guys take one guy from every walk of life in the united states and put him into more fraternity. That's what you got thank. Our genetics are different right and so they boil down to like what if you take all that apart. What has to happen and say hey man if you take everything away from us. We're still buddies. If we're standing there naked we we'll get it done. We'll get back on track and go. Yeah and those those those guys just you just they just show up. Yeah the show up guys just kept coming back in man and you'd that's more of a less than what what y'all go through what you've taught them going into the manuals and stuff like that you can sit there and tell them they look at you. I can see it. I still learn like that. No i feel like a lot of the successful people you hear like when they were younger they were. You know the wild wild car they were had. Add or you know. Were you know they were. The free thinker is of doing their own thing so as an adult that translates into xavier schools for data to find something special about him. Ask to be. Dave figure it out as the kids get older like. There's the kids who were good at school setting the other man. Those skews kids. That aren't good at one thing. But they're real good at something else. Shouldn't hold them back. You know what. I mean at all especially with everything that we have in this country in the ability and what we've created there should be a spot for them starts with them now. Yeah no doubt about it. I said we are. We can't imagine what they're going to be fun. Oh yeah. I've got a question so it's not often you get second chances. It seems like you had multiple right from addiction to get fired from what potentially could have been a dream job.

So i mean it's kinda wanna get into to maintain the and i'm only asking that for guidance to is to how the sustainability to keep you know enough going to where you're rotate and good people in your building. It grows itself. You don't grow it so fast where it consumes itself like that's the key to like you said like the people i think the people we have around us the team. I mean we've had a lot of people coming go. We've learned what kind of people we want around us. What kind of people are going to be toxic or destructive and it's not worth you know trying to hold onto those relationships and so i think building the team i mean our team right now. Read con is just incredible. And it's not anything that we had in our previous company and that really all fell on erin like if you know if he wasn't there you know so then things would just not run the way they should and so. There was a lot of mental stress. You know to make sure that the business was going in the direction or at least maintaining you know without him there so right now i mean we just i mean i think the people you have surrounding you. Look this is. This is a monday and run here with you. Talking and normally on a monday years ago i would've been very very anxious and been like looking at my phone or not even came with the monday money's important right for the start of the week and is is the number one most busy day for me but i have such a good team of people back at the office. If you hundred people working now For for me. And they're all really different levels of very common now. And so i can leave and i can take a break in those good half mike that it's very. It's still a little weird for me. It feels good but it's also a little weird. I never goes away though right. Because that's the the appetite. Fear turns to to fuel wondering what's going on back there definitely doesn't end. We're where people will you know ryan or somebody will call me. Update me on. What happened today because they know like. I'm i'm wondering right now where we are. You know what happened. I miss anything by the way. Thank you for coming out here you for having us. It's been great. We're very excited about Come out here and hanging out and everything talking. I'm always curious as to. Because the one thing i get the travel so much of the people i get to meet and i hang out with the guys and we grew up with kind of like minded ones when you were all success like man. We're the ones that we're supposed to be successful. Yeah yeah at all. We weren't right. I think back sometimes when we go to the back door high school and sitting around with me. I was trying to get rid of more or less. A couple of lassen made us into something. Then we married to meet somebody almost like we had to go through that just to earn that right. Yeah yeah and a lot of the guys like your guys. You worked with team guys. It's funny how like you guys all have the skill set right. There's the skill set be built. Not only is there a genetic component and not only is there a willingness and a not quit attitude right. But there's also this skill set that you bill being the teams. It's interesting how they're so many of these guys that have the skill set but aren't able to translate that into real life..

"It's all about hard work you can be whoever you Someone wants you do it for them. Yeah for sure. So we're we're very fortunate to be able to do that. So redcowmn one is taken off as a result result of experience and hard work. You know coming up Well we got coming up. I mean the the the biggest thing is super out of a vr. This man will. We're going to go. Yes y'all appreciate appreciate. Yeah so the gym's we have given bookertown. And the gym in nashville. We just opened And that's for for fun basically but it's taken off so much. There's probably going to be more jobs in the future and franchising gems. I got a question. Real fast they when you when you get really successful when you marry you grow something up. So there's there's an idea of what you think success is when you hit it and you can just keep going. You can always have another gym right sure. You can always have enough money to wear. It doesn't you. Don't worry about the money right and then you can get more money to where money becomes a problem. Yeah would you agree with that. Yeah well definitely to some degree. There's more money more problems zone. Yeah that's why probably saying that for Thank you but it is. What drives that when you bring people in around you and you consume that right because as anybody in our line of work when you take care of your body it's it it doesn't it. Almost is perfection thing because you can tie trailing. Oh i got to be big in the summertime. I got to lose weight and the other and in the same way with business even when you tackle it like that. It's like man we we. We have the good days in the bad days like we have to start over we can. Yeah but there's always the one. More rep yeah right one more one. More set yeah. When does that happen. When does that take you to where it becomes counter-productive.

"I is good. Yeah age there soaking everything up fun. Yeah yeah so. We have the same age as running around here. And they bring levity mean that is when they turn around and say some stuff. It's just kind of like yeah. Yeah they have to be smarter than how many how many of you have total. That's well that's awesome. Yeah how about you okay. So the oldest one he's twenty two and just graduated from lsu. And then i have a ten and a eight year old. Oldest one is The daughter the only one so melanie. I'm mary the eldest daughter. She has five sisters her youngest sister's the same age as my youngest daughter which is eight years old bush. it's the men there cajun's from louisiana. I know y'all related all probably someone on that twenty three million done that whole thing. Yeah hilarious let's find back in the back and yeah no about y'all related very positive about the time we were. We were just there and cotton board. Is that where. She's from the grandparents. Funny but How long have you got married. Been married ten years. How long is the company. You'll start rowing matt right. So what so. I had a different company when we met That that i ended up leaving and no we had no company. And once when ashley was born i started my first supplement company and that company blackstone labs ended up becoming The the twenty Twenty seventh fastest growing company inc. Five hundred and we had a partnership dispute me and my best friend at the time big explosion and we ended up Breaking up basically the best way to put it where to go. What advice would you give. Go to work with your best friend. No no so my advice my advice would be. This is it. Make sure if you're gonna get partner in any business that the person provides value and they do something very different than you in that you have very distinctly different roles. So like if marcus is our guy and i'm the operations guy we do that you don't ever cross pass where it's like you know you don't ever cross the street total proton explosion right so you have to have distinctly different roles and so for me when people ask me how business partnership i have been joining. Get taken money from somebody. You always have to say like what does that person want. What's their goals and are their goals objectives. The same as yours and are your. Are you going to be able to work together. You know because you're doing very different things. If you're if you're doing similar things you have similar ambitions. You probably won't be able to so for me and him we had. He fancied himself. This guy and i thought i was this guy. We ran to each other after a period of time..

"They all these people do have it. I i can do. It was a big deal and most people don't realize how fast it grows and it starts with the work ethic because even lived if you can do this job like if you can take your ass in gym and put an added pressure on your body to stay in assembles shape. That in itself creates a wealth and saudia. Yeah that's it. it's just a mindset. I think for me. One of the big things identify with naval special warfare. All the team guys that i know is that same mindset is is very unique in the world not not with you guys boutique in the world. Where like the belief in yourself the ability to go all in right that something that that drive is very unique. And so even though i never did in that stuff and i don't know if i even could that point in my life i don't think i could at this point that mindset in those those characteristics mentally are very similar to the things that i think about myself the beliefs i have because it takes a special person to push past the point where people wanna stop. Would you say all successful people probably workout former fashion. I think so. I think it's very extremely common right here. Especially with our generation. Now i tell everybody were hybrids man. We're a little bit of a little bit of new at whole working. Fad from taking mr olympia. Where it was yeah. Sergio like back in the day to what it is now. And we're the fitness. I mean you can't even. It's unbelievable. In general i mean all the different branches are grown. So tremendously the industry has grown and continues to grow where. I was a kid playing sports we talked about. They did not see they discourage you into working there until you don't remember that yeah. I remember that it'd be like don't when i was a kid. They would tell. Don't there's gonna make you less flexible. It's like a better or worse athlete..

"This podcast we're not popular not like today right podcast in two thousand seven like barely thing and so there is superhuman radio. Ram by carl. Nor and i sent emails to all these podcasts. Anyone that i liked it sending me more. Every week i love the show does marcus. I think this was funny. Morgan is great and nobody ever responded very very very few responded but the whole point of doing this was to get attention. I post it. All the bodybuilding message boards all the fitness message boards as aaron singer. Man everybody like swell sixty nine right. I was here in sacramen-. Because i figured maybe somebody will notice this guy's got some brains. We saying something valuable. Maybe they'll like look me up and say. Hey i want this guy my show her this right article and And so through through carlin. I wrote him. I was kind of frustrated. At the time. I wrote emma about email instead of good email so it was always running positive things and he did our thing about kency eyedrops betide drops in your eyes and then all of a sudden you can. You don't need glasses anymore. And i wrote. Tim was like. That's bullshit. Fucking your shell carl. It's total bullshit. This shit doesn't work and he wrote me back came in. Here's my phone number me. Because he wanted to defend himself right. Like i'm not she'll fuck you ended up talking and matt led to me interviewing him on his show and ended up creating our own podcast called off topic radio which is surrounding the weird world bodybuilding. Like all the weird stuff the weirdest stuff that was like howard stern of bodybuilding and it was super successful and led to one thing led to another that ended up creating a career for me being the bob. Costas quote unquote of bodybuilding. Before or right around. When i met daria which was paying all the bills and i was doing something that i loved it was passionate about. It wasn't enough to provide for family. But it was something that i love doing and felt very gratified and being able to do it. You know and our and our feelings come from zero to forty no wife. No kids like we're supposed to be married that live trying figure out the man that we're not plus it's hard for them to tell. You never been married to me back in the day like if i was doing that but as soon as we got married i still pull her into that world of a lot of diana going around and stuff like that. You were cut competing with soon as y'all got married started this right. everything's shifted. Oh yeah it's been very fast. Seen as i mean basically as soon as we started data. It's been so when we got when she got pregnant with. Ashra my oldest. Who's that was kind of the impetus to go from like subsiding. Like being okay. With 'cause i was never i never felt like i wasn't okay with with making making you know money enough to pay the bills right. I always. I felt very lucky to be able to pay the bills doing something i loved. You know. I'm sure like you did right doing a job. You love and paying the bills. Great that's the dream but then once she got pregnant with asher. I realize this is not going to pay the bills the way i'd like it to you know it's not going to provide for a family..

"These guys would come out leave that she wanted to leave so that i wasn't there couldn't see me because i'd be i'd be more intimidating or threatening right even just sitting there being quiet. They're going to like who's this guy. So she continued and made a lot of money so i had an unlimited supply cocaine and that was part of the problem. And that's why. I lost so much weight as i went from like two fifty to sixty two down to like one eighty or so on cocaine where i didn't work out. I didn't care about myself. I didn't eat drink or times for the time. And i tell about every once in a while is like When i had drank water for like seven or eight days and food for longer. I started hearing babies crying all the time. Because your body your mind starts loosening. I'm sure he has had something similar at some point right But for me it was like that was the timer. I kept hearing rousing. Okay i gotta stop. You gotta take a to go to sleep drinks mortar. Eat some food good asleep and so at that point. I wasn't bathing a mess. I was more of a mess than than than ever That was kind of like the that was towards the end of the time of doing drugs and and being like a mess right right around then you quit cold turkey. So what what happened was with jennifer and we had this friend This guy. I don't wanna say because. His parents say his name but he was a construction guy doing pretty good his life and i really liked him he would come over. He was one of her like a Direct to consumer customers right. He wasn't like a customer business. The business he doesn't like a seller of cocaine drugs he was consumer right so he he would come over her him and a few other people's lawyer that kind of comes into my story leader and a few other guys that would come that she liked and that we that i liked. That would come over to the house and buy drugs and then hang out or leave or whatever and they were not selling to other people so this guy came over and he was in construction. Really cool guy in. He was like recreational maybe more recreational lake. Not like an addict like us Like me but he was like you know he would do a bunch for you by an april or to do it for a little bit. And then he would stop for a week or two or three weeks or whatever right and then he'd do it again do it again. So whenever he come over and hang out for a little while and talk to me and so he came over hanging out and Me and her went to other room. It seemed like for a short period of time. But it's now. In retrospect it must have been longer and we came back to the room and also he meant he was how didn't wake up like hey and he smelled badly should himself oche. What the fuck.

That guy's awesome right. I know why like that's awesome and so I since that very moment was always thought that was cool and as when kids were getting dropped off from school own. My kids on the bus get dropped off their house. But i would get dropped off at the gym at french riviera span new orleans louisiana grew up in they would drop me off at the gym and And for me that was like that was the the spot that i would be able to figure this stuff out and get like get like arnold right and so from thirteen years old I went there until i graduated high school or before i didn't graduate. I didn't finish school. So i guess until i was seventeen. I quit high school. i would go there every day. Get dropped off at the gym when other kids are getting either playing sports or game dropped off at their house. And so you know. That was the beginning of fitness and bodybuilding for me because i was fascinated in in building that physique. You've no in the beginning. I had no idea what i was doing. And your hallel now. I'm forty one forty one so you started here before arnold did right. Yeah something like that. He was something iron. Arnold is forty years old in predator or forty one. yes. "Biden walks off down the road and into the grass he crouches into a deep knee bed. Impressive for a seventy eight year old. As a little boy carrying a tiny american flag comes toward him. He embraces the child as jill lingers on the mcadam behind him in black and white stilettos looking. Every inch of goddess is sixty nine. It's moments like this with biden's hugging children that bring home. Just how incomprehensively irregular out of place our previous president and first lady really were. I talked to jill biden on the phone a few times once at their beach house delaware the grandkids swirling around eating cheese steak hoagies when someone handed me cellphone. Joe wants to talk to you. But i had never met him in person on the flight. Back to dc. I am fetch from the back of af one brought to somewhere in the middle of the plane and deposited in a conference room in the sky. All burl walnut plush carpeting in dim table lamps. When the president and first lady up here i tell him that i think i've met every person in his family over the past thirteen years god. It doesn't seem that long. He says you have says jill. You met mom and vowel biden's mother and sister all the kids i ask if he'd given any thought in all these years to what kind of first lady chill would be. We never talked about this. So i'm probably going to get you in trouble. The president says jill before insisting that he never wanted to live in the white house. It was part of his reluctance to run for the office. In the first place he was hail to the chief. And all that stuff. When i was young senator. But i never had a desire for that piece of it. He has said he thinks the obamas kind of had a similar view. There's no real upside. Living physically in the white house is the greatest honor in the world. But there's no privacy and the pomp and circumstance part is not something we've ever gone out of our way to look for but trump vanquished his reluctance. I think the same thing with sinking in with you. He says chill about the state of the country he turns to me. Jill said you gotta run because there's so much at stake so this was the first time i ran without thinking of any of the accoutrements of you know i could have air force one or i could have. I think part of that just got knocked out by being vice president. And i realized that i probably whether i'm right or not knew more about the issues that most people because i've been around so long. Jill was hesitant to take on the role of the wife of the united states center. He says even as she would campaign by his side in the senate years but it was clear to me that she knew exactly what she would do if she were first lady and so she came in. I think knowing the experience of being vice president knowing the power of the presidency knowing that she could change things he remembers the first time she spoke in front of a truly big crowd. And i was like. That's my girl so proud she would just go do it. And she got better and better than she started saying. Joe you gotta put a little more emotion into what you're doing. I ask if coming president. First lady have -ffected their marriage yet. Has he says. Almost pained expression crosses his face. I miss her. I'm really proud of her. But it's not like we can just go off like we used to. When we were living in delaware and married once a month we just go up to a local bed and breakfast by ourselves to make sure we had a romantic time. Just get away and hang out with each other. You might need to schedule that in job but all kidding aside. That's part of the problem you can't. I'm not complaining. It's part of the deal but this life prevents it. He looks until it's just harder. Don't you think that's right. Oh yeah she says and the other thing is she's been traveling all over. The country says biden and doing major events for me and for the country and find out that. I'm working on a hell of an important speech and i'm distracted and then i may not be working on one and i want to go and hang out with her and she's working on an important speech or grading papers. We have to figure out a way. And i mean this sincerely to be able to steal time for one another. I think that's the deal. The next day. I'm sitting in the jackie kennedy garden with jill like its counterpart the rose garden which is on the other side of the south portico. Just outside the west wing. This one was redesigned in the sixties by bunny mellon in tinkered with over the years but remains fundamentally the same ridiculously beautiful and because his early may there are enormous. Perfect blooms everywhere. You turn the smell intoxicating. The biden's are gardeners. Joe wants planted a rose garden for jill at the house in wilmington for birthday and djilas little cutting garden here at the white house. So that if i go to visit somebody i can make them a bouquet. The flowers here. I mean i'm out here every morning at six with the dogs. She says to they run around. Yeah i throw the ball. They get water. She insists we take a stroll over to look at the roses. They just popped this week. Everyone got so bent. Out of shape over malania redoing. The rose garden think she made it better say. Apparently she put these walkways. Are these like some of the most beautiful roses you've ever seen suddenly a few secret service guys and.

"Jill biden visits community colleges which is a lot these days. She was received in highly choreographed. Settings by governor say were members of the public as the nation's first lady but to administrators teachers. She has dr. Jill biden college professor at salt community college in illinois. There were pink and white flowers out. Everywhere befitting her visit the even matched her white dress and pink jacket but there was also a welcome. Dr biden sign so huge that the period on the doctor was as big as her head. It felt like a subtle rebuke to that scolding. She was subjected to back in december for using the title. She has every right to indeed in all the places she goes lately. She is honored as a woman with several degrees. Who has worked really hard her whole life at the most relatable job there is. Everyone has a favorite teacher. After all on our visit to the navajo nation. In april dr biden was introduced by someone came to think of as the ruth bader ginsburg of indian country chief justice of the navajo nation. Supreme court joanne. Jane a tiny woman with hair pulled back in a tight ponytail. Winning doc martens dr biden. Millions reap inspiration from your quote. Teaching isn't just what i do. It is who i am in birmingham alabama. She was introduced by a lawyer. Liz huntley a sexual abuse survivor whose parents were drug dealers. I want to thank dr biden from the bottom of my heart for the role that she plays not just the first lady but for her heart for educating she told me she's grading papers on the plane. Y'all what who does that. They say being an educator as a calling in your life that you can't resist and she just won't let it go. December debate of titles seems awfully small in the face of all of this. Jill biden schools visiting vaccinations sites traveling to red states to sell the american rescue. Plan telling folks that help us here. The role she's fulfiling on these visits is in many ways neither first lady nor professor but a key player in her husband's administration a west wing surrogate and policy advocate and underestimated asset. As mary jordan the washington post reporter written a book about melania trump. Put it to me. It's hard to imagine. Joe doing this without her which is not to say that dr biden who is constitutionally shy doesn't take special delight in these visits she becomes looser goofy and more expansive. You generally hear her before you see her because she is often laughing. She is quite simply a joy multiplier as part of her elevator pitch for free community college part of the one point eight trillion american families plan president biden proposed to congress in april. She likes to talk about one of most dedicated students. A military interpreter from san came to america to start a new life a few semesters ago. I got a text trimmer. It was like six in the morning on my way to the hospital. Have my baby research. Paper will be laid to which. I replied excuses excuses. That gets a big laugh even from the jaded press corps. No one thought she could keep teaching. I heard that all the time during the campaign. She told me like no. You're not going to be able to teach first lady. And i said why not. You make things happen right. But as i traveled with dr biden through much of april. I saw just how much time day job took up in albuquerque new mexico the entire retinue of staff secret service and press held at our hotel until well into the afternoon. The motorcade finally hit the road for nearly three hour. Drive and a long evening events in arizona because dr be was teaching her classes resume on a trip to illinois. Her motorcade sped toward the airport as if there weren't a second waste because there wasn't jill had to teach. Meanwhile countless editorials began marking the first hundred days the biden administration many expressing surprise relief over. How much was getting done.
