Has Music Caught up to the 54 Flavors Sexual Revolution?
"We're not binary anymore As chuck Todd there's a whole spectrum of stuff going on out there LBGTQ why do you think they add the plus at the end They should add the multiple clashing sun times Because there's no end to it Remember when Facebook there were 54 flavors of genitalia and genitalia activity Remember that They paid so many a lot of money to do that And so let me try this I will embarrass myself in front of billions so don't hold it against me So here's how the song in modern days would go Should I do it mister producer or not I'm just too good to be true Can't take my eyes off of me I'm like heaven to touch oh I love me so much At long last love has arrived I'm just too good to be true I think that's enough Notice I really spoke it I didn't sing it But I think that's the new version I think we need to get the four seasons back here So they can sing it In fact there should be 54 versions of the song as I say I do not believe the music industry is caught up with the it's not even the sexual revolution It is the 54 flavors These love songs today they really add a date wouldn't you say millennial cons Right You are too good to be true and so are you and you and you shouldn't that be a new song mister producer You like that one

"AP sports I'm David Shuster, one game in both the NBA and NHL playoffs Sunday and they were completely different from a competitive standpoint. We start in the NBA with geth and kuba filling us in on Miami and Boston. The Miami Heat cruise to a three O series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals after blowing out the Boston Celtics one 28 one O two at home in game three. Gabe Vincent pace the heat with a playoff career high 29 points on 11 of 14 shooting. Caleb Martin added 18 points, Jimmy Butler scored 16 and bam adebayo 13. Boston stars Jayson Tatum and jaylen Brown were held to 14 and 12 points respectively on a combined 12 of 35 shooting. Miami can clinch its second NBA Finals birth in four seasons with a win in game four Tuesday. And now over to hockey with Mark Myers reporting on Las Vegas and Dallas. Chandler Stephenson scored early in overtime to give the golden knights a three to two win over the stars and a two O series lead the knights were able to tie the score in the final minute of regulation on a goal by Jonathan Marshall, Aiden hill made 26 saves in the Vegas nets, Jake Avengers stopped 21 shots for the stars who were now zero in four and overtime games this postseason. Turning to baseball, Houston completed a three game sweep of Oakland Sunday's final two zero and how bad are the a's well they're on pace to lose 138 games which would be a record. Other highlights Sunday Oscar Mercado with 5 RBI St. Louis ten 5 over the Dodgers and Cedric mullin 5 hits Baltimore 8 three over Toronto. To golf and Brooks Koepka won his 5th major title, he won the PGA Championship by two shots. That was good. Yeah, this one's this one's definitely special. I think this one's probably the most meaningful of them all with everything that's gone on, all the other crazy stuff over the last few years, but it feels good to be back and get number 5. And in auto racing, Spain's Alex pillow captured the pole position for this year's Indy 500. I'm David Shuster, a P sports.

Finding Beauty in God's Timing
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart. Yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Ecclesiastes three versus 11 through 12. I lived in the Midwest of the United States almost my entire life up until two years ago. We would experience all four seasons, but it usually went something like this. 5 to 6 months of winter, two to three weeks of spring, four to 5 months of summer in two to four weeks of fall. I have to admit, winter was always my least favorite season and out of all the seasons and in the Midwest, it is the longest. I remember waiting for spring to come with great expectation. But come January, I would usually grow extremely impatient and ready to pack my bags and move our family to somewhere much warmer. Honestly, it was one of the main reasons our family did end up moving a thousand miles away to start a new chapter in the sunshine state. For many of my friends and family, they are longing for the warmer temperatures of spring to make their appearance in stay. Soon enough, the fresh leaves will fully cover what were barren branches and flowers will be in full bloom. None of us have to worry if the seasons are going to change because they always do. God is a master artist like that and has it all under control. Just like seasons are set to a specific time that God ordains. So are events in our life. And on and even bigger scale, our journey with him as it unfolds. Only he knows how to take a rebellious heart of stone and transform it into a heart of flesh that praises his holy name. This profound reality of God forming a life and one who learns how to deny self and worship the lord is not an overnight event. No, just like seasons change in their own time, the change of a life for the glory of Christ is a process. In God's perfect timing, we will begin to see the transformation.

Biden's New Mortgage Rule Punishes People With Good Credit
"New rule that's going to be instituted on May 1st. Around something called an LLP, a loan level price adjustment. Under the guise of equity pushing towards equity, Fannie and Freddie, which should have been disassembled after the 2008 financial collapse, the federal backed mortgages are now going to make a new rule. Congress didn't vote on this. There wasn't a hearing on this. This would not go through a reconciliation process. This did not go through amendments or adjustments or House representatives or senators. No, no, no, these are unelected bureaucrats making a unilateral decision to punish you if you have good credit. This right here is an all out penalty. A walloping. If you have decided to engage in delayed gratification and those of you maybe in this audience that have made bad decisions, gone on vacations, you can't afford max out your credit cards to go to four seasons, going to steakhouses and you have bad credit because you made bad decisions. Well, here's where the new regime comes in. Now all PAs are price adjustments to a loan reflecting how risky it is. If you have good credit, traditionally you pay less. Obviously, you've proven you can do it. If you have bad credit, well then you're going to pay more because you got to prove to the bank. You got to prove to the lender that you're a good bet. But no, no, no, no, because of equity. The whole game has changed. This new rule says that if you have bad credit, you pay less. And if you have good credit, you pay more. You heard me right. We are changing the game. We are the moral fabric of the country has already basically gone. But now this is just another reflection of the moral fabric being gone. No longer are we a country where we want to say good job. Dutiful citizen for saving money, not going out to eat every night for going to the grocery store for using coupons. For investing, now we are going to punish you if you've made good financial decisions.

Boris Epshteyn Reacts to Ron DeSantis' Latest Interview
"Talk about the disaster that is Alvin Bragg, but first things first. A couple of disastrous interviews for Ron DeSantis without pathetic individual peers and Morgan, then he didn't exactly shower himself with glory with my colleague at Eric bolling, and then Ron DeSantis had this comment to make, which I found rather amusing. This is cut 5 baron your reaction. So here's the thing, I think these are people who are in the political class, journalists class, politicians, and like D.C. in particular, they get mad, I don't do the cocktail parties. I don't like rubbing elbows with other people. I like doing my job and then spending time with my family. That's just what I do. A lot of the people that are criticizing, you know, they would say, oh, he doesn't do well with donors. He doesn't glad him with him. And yet I raise more money than any non presidential candidate in the history of America. Are you kidding me? So we tend to do. We do well. But I do think that ideal better with regular people than I do with some of the people in the political class. Help me out here, mister senior adviser for the Trump 2024 campaign. Allegedly, the governor of Florida doesn't like robbing elbows with donors, doesn't do the cocktail circuit, but he didn't speak at cpac because he wasn't a big fundraiser. I'm confused. Help me out, baron. There is anything to use a considering that he just had a few weeks ago I had a whole concept multi day concept at a very decrepit, very every day, very middle American resort called the four seasons in Palm Beach, Florida. This is absolute typical establishment nonsense like Mitt Romney used to find in an airplane to Iowa and get into a get into a fancy car. Find those private jets, get into a fancy limo and then get into a Chevrolet to go to a rally. Typical inauthentic old school politics, which has failed time and time again and it is not what the American people want. The American people want authenticity from president Donald J Trump.

So it would have been competitive game. Chief quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be the 5th signal caller under 30 to start three super bowls over a four season span. Towards Phoenix

"Have one of those. I don't even have a Twitter anymore. What do I do? Yeah, so it's taking losses. And it's a loss on the Comcast balance sheet. I think we've always said in the go 90s scale for the zero means they're alive in the 90 means their boot doomed. This is now like a 70 to 80. Wow, you're gonna always 70 80. I think so. I think peacock is probably has the best chance of being the first big broadcast streamer that goes actually this is not for us. I don't know what they're going to do though. Are you sure they'll do that or that they'll try and buy some other streamer that is also who? They're not going to buy paramount because paramount has been like in this we're doing it by ourselves thing before anybody else. And they have the Yellowstone verse. Yeah, they got 23. Oh my God, 1923 is so good. You know what? Every single year of American history, people in Montana have shot each other. With Tommy guns. That show, we have been watching that show. Yellowstone. We also improper. Yeah. Okay, the conceit of this is crazy talking about Russia. If you think about that show, is having the lawyer son, the business daughter, and then the Call of Duty son. It's just like locks into place. We're like, all right, we need to have a Call of Duty cutscene in the middle of this episode. It's just always happened. It's so the most compelling thing. Is it good TV? We have been watching. It's very entertaining. There's like, oh, the cutscene is here. Yeah, look at it. And they're on horses. They introduce characters just for the Call of Duty son to murder them. It's like a very like all that motherfucker's gonna die. But he's sad about it. He feels grief. I think actually by season four, he's like, this is what I do. I just kill. Anyway, but that peacock hat, that's what peacock had going for. Yeah, the first four seasons. It's got the first four seasons. Plus. Plus has all of the adjacent shows. So it's got the fancy one with Harrison Ford. It's got the Sylvester Stallone one where he goes to Oklahoma to start a mob. It's him and Martin Starr. Just out there, mob. I'll take it. That's great. I want to watch them all. See, that's why peacock went by. Paramount plus. Yeah. They can't afford it. They're all in on the tailor verse. Yeah. So peacock is not doing great. It has not had any hits. It's still hoping poker face. It's put a lot of time and energy. And to making poker face a thing. This is the new show with Natasha Lyonne. It comes to Ryan Johnson, who did knives out and the Star Wars movies and stuff like that. So they're really a virgin fan. Yeah? Yeah. In fact, the verge makes a cameo. And I was out too. That's true, it did. I screamed. I was with my mom and I was like, see, I have a job. I looked at my 17 year old niece and nephew and said, that's cool, right? It was cool. My mom did. She was like, it's fine. Cigarettes. So yeah, peacock not doing great. I'll be surprised if it lasts. And I think the big concern though, if something happens to peacock, what happens to shows like poker face, which is a legitimately great show. It's super, super entertaining. But 20 million people max are going to be watching it because that's how many people have been trying to get more people. We'll see. Yeah, so we'll see. We'll see. But you're putting them in 70 to 80 on this. I'm at 70 to 80. Wow. All right, big call from Alex kranz. Yeah, sorry, guys. Peacock 70 to 80 and then 90 scale of gym streaming services. I'm also talking with Kathryn chinda Costa about faking your own death online, surprisingly common, just recently happened with a romance novelist, created a whole bunch of conversations. Because some of their favorite television shows have announced the final seasons are coming near. Now when we see season 5, I don't know because we haven't even seen season four yet, but everybody's freaking out. It's going to be ending. Same thing with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon. They announced the next season or is it the third season? I don't know. I don't watch. Well, it's going away. That'll be it and of course, because it's so popular. Everybody's freaking out there. And then Donald Glover announces his TV show on FX, Atlanta will be ending with its fourth season. The one thing for these shows, while I love them, they're so sporadic. I never know when they're coming. I know I watched Stranger Things when it first came out. Misses maisel don't watch it, don't care and Atlanta, love the first season, not so much the second season and well. I'm not sure if I'm going to go back and watch again. "At the news and has been described as both the best UK topical comedy show for decades and preachy, self righteous and left wing divided opinions, then This is very much on the front line of what appears to be a growing political and cultural divide in British comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, one of the biggest events of the comedy year, he spoke to the BBC's Mahala Tanaka about the first four seasons of the MASH report and his future in comedy. Four series is a pretty good go. To be honest, we were amazed It lasted beyond one episode. How intense is the writing process of a show like that? You always have to keep things in perspective, because it's like it's intense, but it's still not a real job. You know what I mean? Like people have people have other joy seeing people in this audience. I mean, not this audience. Yeah, it's the middle of the day and you're and you seem to have points of lager in front of you. So apart from me, Nihal and everyone in this audience, other people have real jobs. So when you talk about two people that have actual real jobs, it can feel a bit crass to be like, you know, it's actually quite difficult to, you know, make jokes about the news. Um, but, yeah, it can be quite it can be fairly intense. You know, it's three days and you start from scratch every week. What about walkouts? How many walkouts have you had My favorite walk out because I really I genuinely valued the way that this guy handled it was. I think we were in the hardest field on my last tour and a man walked out, but he I could see him tiptoeing out and when you can see someone tipped him out, you're just like you don't know what's going on in the life of your the comedian. You don't just shout with them because something might be going on. Who knows what's happening, and this guy tiptoed out and he got to the doors and he like slipped out of the doors. But what he hadn't reckoned with the doors were the loudest doors. It was like, the like, game of Thrones. Castle doors like, so when it shot I just went And the entire audience heard and I said, Look okay, what what's happened and this woman said, That's my dad and he's We told him he shouldn't come because we knew he was going to be upset by it. Because of the political content of the show and how it aligns with or does not align with his political beliefs. And he said, I can take a joke and 10 minutes into the day he went. I can't take this. But what I appreciate about it was he acknowledged that he had made a mistake. And so he tried to leave. He didn't try and make a point. He wasn't trying to shout at me. He was just like you know what I made a poor entertainment decision. You guys enjoy the show. I'll pick up afterwards. And I have absolute respect for that man. But and also he did not get a refund. What is it that is going into the show this year? This year? I'm doing just a week to kind of see where I'm at sea where I'm at with the material and try and re learn how to do stand up because obviously we have been doing much less of it. And the zoom skills of doing gigs on Zoom are not transferrable for one. You have to wear trousers. That really is. Non negotiable in a live gig, right. But part of the purpose of this was to re learn how to do stand up, but it's very exciting. You know, It's very exciting to be on stage and from the audience is very excited, and it just feels like a relief to be back. What did you have to relearn? Think what you forget when you stop doing it is the stand up is such a weird thing to do like it's such a. If you think about it as an art form, it's such a weird thing to do is basically just to go, Everyone. Shut up and listen to my opinions like that's such a strange way because a lot of other art forms you like Let me express something creatively, either through the medium of pretending to be someone that I'm not or playing the guitar or play the piano was singing or doing some kind of dance. Let me create something in order to elicit an emotional reaction, but with me it's going, Yeah. I think some things and you're going to hear about them for money. And so I think it's just re acquainting yourself with that, And also there's a sense of, uh, you know, we don't know what material you people are interested in the audience. You know, we don't know whether you don't want to hear anything about covid every day. We don't know whether it's something you're desperate to hear about. So part of it. Part of what we're doing at the moment as comedians is kind of learning. What works. It really is a collaboration between performer and audience. Nice Kumar, my guests today on the arts, our our the comedian Olga Cock, and the writer and director Joseph Addison, lawyer Olga As you were listening to that, did it resonate with you re learning how to do standup? Absolutely. There was A feeling amongst comedians that you've spent this entire time. It's years for for us, right, um, honing this muscle exercising this muscle. And then there's this fear that it's atrophied, and you'd have to start from scratch after not doing it for such a long time. Let's talk for a moment about what is an increasing debate, I think, and some might say political divide in British comedy. Yeah. The so called cancel culture. Do you older feel restricted in what you can and cannot joke about at the moment? No. Okay, good for you. Joseph to you. Do you think there are lines that are drawn that need to be drawn? I mean, I think we should always be able to joke about politics, for example, so that's absolutely yes forever. We must be able to joke about that. But I think There are certain things personally, You know, like, I wouldn't be comfortable hearing jokes about disabled people. For example, I wouldn't be comfortable hearing jokes about the Holocaust. I So so Yeah, I guess it's got to be for me some kind of line, but I certainly think that comedians are fantastic when they hold powerful people to account so if they are The jokes about powerful people I think is always needed and warranted. Um, when it tends to vulnerable people, that's where I think for me. I draw the line. Yeah, that's it. Don't they say in comedy? August you must never punch down. Sorry. My answer was pertaining more to whether I I feel threatened by cancel culture and I don't because I don't really think that it's real, but in terms of what you should and shouldn't joke about, I think you must pay attention to whether you're punching up or down and whether it's your place to talk about..

It's not the same game it's not comparable and it's strange to compare them and i generally tend to mock that but i think it's a thing to be considered and so there's that that could be categorization. You know best broadcast show best basic cable show as premium cable showbiz streaming show. That's an exhausting way to do anything and a way to guarantee the you're confusing the audiences because the audience is don't know anything launches on netflix. Hulu shows to the audience anyway so but but somewhat easier might be best show thirty minutes or less and that at least has been always the way that the emmys have primarily categorized things where things that are a half hour automatically accommodate. Even if they aren't and that would be a way of classifying things. I don't think that's a good way of classifying things. Either especially in a situation where you have a show like the mandatory in which really was in its first season tiptoeing around the thirty minute. Mark fairly re Frequently and then in its second season started going over it almost every episode. So does it suddenly changed categories. It's it's semantics right. But then it's like six or eight episodes compared to some of these other shows that are doing fifteen or twenty. You know again. We're not going to solve this answer right now. Here so again no no accusations here and what we were talking about with showtimes press tour day. I did not listen in on the dexter panel. Because i would like to at some point. Watch all of the episodes altogether. And i didn't wanna watch one episode. Then things spoiled with anything. Exciting disgust on the dexter panel I don't wanna spoil anything. Because i'm i love dexter. I love that show. At least the for the first four seasons i thought were were brilliant. And then of course clyde phillips who who ran those those four left and it kind of you know jump the shark a little bit after the trinity season but look jennifer carpenter's coming back and not gonna spoil how she does it because i you know. That's a great piece for the for the viewer. I don't know if if i'm sure that that information is out there. If you wanna get if you want to spoil yourself. But i watched the pilot again not a critic and you can go ahead and take your shot now up and wall if you're listening I liked it. I know a lot of people feel mixed at least judging from some of the early buzz around it but i i love the show. I love seeing jennifer carpenter back as deb. She was my favorite part of the show. Back in the in. Its original run. But yeah i think you know. There's the show definitely has some really big surprises coming back and i think if you're a die hard fan especially of those first four seasons. They'll be stuff in here that you'll have probably predicted would have happened and be happy to see that it actually did so and we will surely talk more about that as we get closer to its premier. Yeah and you can actually hear more about dexter From our exclusive interview with show runner clyde phillips in episode ninety one from october so go back and look that up he was we had him exclusively right after. "It's also so goddamn funny like the scariest thing is the return the slab. Then you have used this. What's your offer i. S is a perfect mix of like we every time he's trying to negotiate with this other worldly speed the perfect mix of like some fucked up acid trip type horror and funny shit ever so one of my friends described it as you. It's the world through the doll. dogs is. it's the dogs perspective. That's dodge was backwards. Dogs are fucking miserable. Anxiety riddled dog. I my my dog is kind of like that. Not not so bad. But she has betting zayed's sometimes i want to give her some. Cbd come down but courage you that courage is in the middle of fucking nowhere. Got no activities to do. Use is an abusive. Owner really is stupid doc. Mary we looked back talking hopeless. She doesn't rock in that chair. Great heart though hard gold. Yeah all right. Let's move onto the dexter trailer. What do you think is it looking. Good it got it. Got got my Downpour on youtube no. It made me like very interested. Because like i've talked about like dexter is one of my favorite shows of all time. I loved the character of the first four seasons output up there pretty much anything i've watched and ever since then the decline was wasn't an immediate decline. It was an obvious drop in quality. But it's still very much watchable. Put the finale or something that is like the worst possible. Finale you can do. I feel like a good finale for that show could have saved it but Sounds like thrones. That really. Because i think game of thrones at the end like it's something where everyone's like remake season remakes using. It's like well we know what season eight like. That's the end that was supposed to be. The andrews has done poorly. And you can't like extent we're just gonna do a new season but we know where these characters engineers is dead like. We'll be pointless with this. Like dexter was left alive a non nothing ending. Well now we can get the guy who is there for the earlier seasons and the good stuff that come back and it's like sure some of the story ended but there's still a lot you can do with that character. Some of the characters aren't going to be there anymore anymore unfortunately but like for that character. There's still stuff to explore and like the show is dexter. I game of thrones wasn't just a john show if it was just a johnson jon snow show Then maybe you could take him going into while and three explore that cadre. There is so much so many other moving parts. Where dexter is more focused on dexter. So if you leave that window open. I think it's a more natural transition to be like. Okay maybe eight years later. Let's try to get the ending it deserves. And it's great to see michael c hall. Come back i think he is. One of the more underrated television actors of all time with that character. Obviously the bryan cranston james gandolfini and like the way he plays like character. I think he's like maybe not at that top level. But he's in a discussion. Est like some like one of the best leads. I think in the drama series over.

And when i went to spain for the first time with my mother i was six years old i told my mother i went to see flamenco and i saw these women and they were so strong and passionate and i decided i wanted to be flamingo as i had no idea what it meant but that dream i kept it alive through my whole childhood. I bought this little doll. You know with the polkadot dress and everything in plastic doll and headed a home. Like little alter and i knew that i was going to be a flamenco dancer. Or what fleming in your life today teaching performing i was the president of the swedish fleming society for some ten years of organized festivals of organized workshops. I've been tour manager of one of the most famous fleming dancers. All all that you can think of. I cannot think of any two more opposite. Cultures in a temperament kind of wave of sweden and southern spain is the heartland of flamenco. I think it's opposites attract and actually. Spain is the favourite countries of the swedes to visit to travel to. And why would that be. I think it's that got although this has. Can't remember if I saw any Marvel ones but they did probably it says everyone wants to build off. That we went to Iceland. We went to Reykjavik Iceland and there is a church there. That looks like the Thor's Castle. There you go. It looks like the engine in Asgard. It looks like they're they're Palace a bit Kirby inspired a bit very much so, very cool. Yes. And if we are going to mention Kirby, I just want to say that I'm glad that Disney settled with his family to make sure they got some paid but I wish kind of it had gone to the Supreme Court so they could have said, oh no, these contracts are terrible. You need to treat your creators better. That would have been good. I would have liked to see that said everybody would have got my everyone would have like, you know, then then the guy who created Ghost Rider would be selling, you know, illegal or sketches at cons and stuff. Oh God. He needs cash. It's like everyone, like all these people who are working for, you know, Marvel and DC in the seventies and eighties and nineties. These are dead. Sure, let's just say they could use retirement and you very rarely hear about a Comics artist retiring, right? They just keep going until they fall over and I will say now I wish to this is true, there's Injustice in other news agents of shield, the Ghost Rider Arc. Yes. That was very that was very cool. The first pandering, to those people, may not enjoy the, the first four seasons of, of, of, of Agents of Shield. They were incorrect. By the way, they were, I was I loved Agents of Shield from the beginning just because I like the idea of the office beats shield with no powered characters at all. That was kind of cool. They were I mean you know they didn't have super powers but they were spies you know they had that all the fancy gadgets and you had Ward, who was a fairly, you know, they they introduce him great cuz like nobody liked him at the beginning and I was like, oh I guess he's a, oh wait, he's actually off. We weren't going out and doing a bunch of wild things in vegas and it's super hot outside and i literally watched the second half of the first season of the flash and i was like sitting on. The couch is a grown man with all these kids around me like half crying about him. Seeing his mom die again and then realizing like a can't save you going back. I don't know i loved. It has it. I've trailed off and haven't really watched the show much since then. I know i've watched the first four seasons of it Hasn't got any better than that last episode. The second season was very good as well. But i loved it so much as very into it. Damn do i love tom. Cavanagh so good. He is so good in that. I think all of them are very good. Yeah i have to put it in there. It's my number five all right number five for you number. Four for me Takes a bit of a turn. And that is a show that i was kind of unsure of in the first season and i don't to respect a lot in the second one and an overall i still don't really know where i stand with it. Which is an odd thing to say. Except that i want to see more of it. Yeah and that's the voice. it's not nothing negative. I have nothing negative to say. It's like an incredibly well done. Show production value is writing wise drama. Wise it's just it's hard to wrap your head around what it is. I know what i mean. Like i love it. It doesn't feel like a show and it doesn't feel like a movie. It's just it's like you're just watching things actually play out. It's weird it is. It is weird is so new. But it's enjoyable. It's like a whole different. I don't wanna say it's like a different form. It's just honestly like nothing. I've seen before right and i never read the book. I had no knowledge or introduction or knew nothing about these. Yes i was the same way and i just don't know that i've necessarily experienced anything like it as far as like. Oh you haven't. I've seen like really hard core like comic book at patients like the preacher. Oh yeah adapted which also really really enjoyed but this being taking the whole like superhero angle. It's just like nothing. I've really ever seen before until maybe a little bit like invincible which we didn't include on this list because it's animated but i just i want to see more of it and you never get enough of. It almost feels like you. Don't you don't get enough of it. It's just like little bites and you're like is that that's all i have to go. You know what. I mean. I in the whole season feels that way you every episode and then by the end of the season just like that has to be more to this but season two to be more to this. In my opinion absolutely blew season went out of the water. it wasn't even close season one. I had issues not issues with but there were times when i felt like it was a little bogged down season to just breeze. I mean it will yes. It was something we'll talk more about my number four..

Mgm also owned several popular tv shows including the handmaid's tale which is currently in the middle of its fourth season on hulu. The deal is still subject to regulatory approval amazon. Didn't say when they expect to steal to close and when they would officially own mgm but clearly. This is a pretty significant step on several factors it highlights a lot of consolidation that we're noticing in the streaming market These there are a lot of these Different services out there and it's getting very competitive and we're seeing a lot of consolidation here. One example of this is a t and t. They announced that deal earlier this month to combine its media business with discovery so that brings together stuff like. Hbo max and then cnn tbs tnt with discovery networks like food network hdtv now if you are a subscriber to amazon. This is an interesting proposition because now if you have a subscription to prime video you have this new collection of movies and tv shows the you can draw from if you subscribe to other services. I don't know exactly which. Mgm movies are available in one which services. But it's possible. Maybe some of those movies. We'll transition

"Likely regressed more towards your career norms and running backs do get hurt a lot so it might not be surprising. The guys don't play sixteen games two years in a row very often. And if you reach two thousand yards you probably do play. Sixteen games at the same time. I had henry projected at five yards per carry. He was at five point four last year. If i dropped him to four point four to fit in with the theme of losing at least one yard per carry like every running back ever would that would drop him Three spots in the pr rankings and five point four yards per carry would be pretty low on the list of what these guys average when they had their two thousand yard season. So perhaps that means he won't lose as much as the other guys. And i would say especially and this would be a difficult. I'm not asking you to do this. But he was only point four yards better than his career mark. Yeah i have some context in that like eric dickerson. Like i said he went five. Point six two four point to the following year that was the lowest mark of his first six seasons of his career. Adrian peterson went to four point. Five yards carrying. I don't know where that measures up but barry sanders. Like i said tied for the lowest mark of his career. Four point three yards per. Carry your after. Terrell davis had a terrible year Chris johnson was never really the same after the two thousand yard season Yet he's still manage. Almost fourteen hundred rushing yards. Just got a lot of work and know. Oj simpson oj. Simpson four point two yards per carry the year after his great year his best year. That was pretty much what he averaged. In his first four seasons so is a kind a mixed bag of like regressing. What they usually rat and some of them just had pretty bad years for them in terms of Anyway i do also it for thirty seven fewer carries even though he's protected for seven games only played sixteen last year. The only thing. I don't know because i do think it would be smarter for tennessee to try to keep him a little bit fresher except that every year he runs for two hundred and fifty yards in week. Seventeen so i don't think he's getting down volume. He's just destroying people late in the year and their margin for error is so so slim with the way they're playing with a bad defense in a run heavy attack and extreme efficiency that two things one it could go terribly wrong and they could just be bad offense one year. It wouldn't be that surprising and that would hurt henry but the thing is they can barely afford to take him off the field..

"Favorites genre to I think i'm still discovering it. I think i'm i think i'm i like really playing in everything so i don't know i feel like i feel like what it's been over the last six years of my life. It's been a lot of action stuff. Like lots of heavy drama. And so i was really drawn to wanna do some comedy and then i got a little taste of that with instinct. A show that i did with alan cumming and got to play around a bit. And it's now i it changes. They're really really changes. I'm doing a show right now. Called you on netflix. It's definitely we've we've seen every episode of you and it's on it says you're in all ten episodes. I know that that might be living or dead or trying to fool us. But what what. What can you give us their trav- about what what you're doing in in you because we're ready for seasonal ready just shy. This show is so twisted. I love it so much. The writing is so good. And i really. I love the actors. And i'm working with i get to play character. That's larger than life and i'll just say what what's already out there publicly. I'm a bio hacker. A fitness expert. And my wife. And i we welcome joe and love into our world and i i get to play a guy that i am all about. I'm a. I'm a leader of men in the show and i love to to get to take men on trips out to the woods into To get in touch with their masculinity. And that's that's that that's kind of an essence of who i am and so a lot of fun happens this season. I'm so excited to have. Everybody sees them something to keep filming. Because we're impressed right now. You could just see him smiling like he's not telling us the main thi- can't more ready for the i love i told you about. You is a show that i think at. Its best reminds me of like when when you early seasons of dexter. Did you watch dexter showtime and seen much though but it it reminds me. It's a very pulpy like it's designed to watch a bunch at once and and anything can happen. And when dexter was kind of operated dexter is finance the first four seasons of dexter are wonderful and but it it has this addictive quality to it that you just want to keep watching it over and over again so yeah. I'm pump for this. What i love about this show is just even though it's dark and it's twisted it's your inside joe's head in and the just narration everyone is his fodder and it's just so funny. I felt like. I find myself laughing out loud a lot when watching the first two seasons. So i'm excited. Just to be a part of the part of the right paying task Tell us a little bit about hallmark. Kind of how you got hooked up with them. You've done some stuff in the past. Some acquired stuff some of the similar type of movies. How'd you ultimately get hooked up with with art. the hallmark is fun. Because you don't audition for hallmark phelps. They usually just find you. And you get the you get a call. One day from your manager agent. They're like hey they want you to do this. Film do you like the script And so that's always been nice with with hallmark specifically it's always incoming incoming call I usually the once the time that they've reached out to me one night in two thousand seventeen with bridget. Regan a was called shoot. I don't even know what that was called. I'm sure it was about christmas though. But the one that i did with her. Two thousand seventeen. I just worked with her. On the last ship for five seasons in the fourth season so i got to work with her again in. The story was really cute. So i don't. I don't know how machine of hallmark works. But somehow they just find you reach out to you and you just you do you accept Precious enter the the hallmark world. And that's what's happened. Is christmas getaway christmas getaway. Christmas is in a good guess. On your part i got. I do have some homework questions but just before we get there. Is there a particular everybody says that every cast and crew is the best and they're they're like family and this is what really makes the show where you hear that about every show you've been on just dumped teen number of shows which tv shows actually or movie stood stands out as actually the one that you were like that you guessed it on not a series regular not last ship but that you guessed it on one or two episodes you're like man that cast and crew really does feel like a family like more than the rest of i was. I guess i was. I was on instinct for every episode. But i would say instinct. Was that show. I came onto their shows. It was their second season. And michael rouch and why. Just forget his name because literally staring at screens to there's two screens of myself alan coming allow and company. Yes so so. Michael russia and tell me made an agreement and i believe before they started. The show was that there need three things need to happen i will. Everyone needs to be really passionate about their jobs. Really love to be there. Secondly dogs need to be around set. Alzheimer's and thirdly is there's always dancing in between setups and so our main camera operator was also a dj and sell for me. This was a set coming into the second season. You never know what you're walking onto. And i walked onto a set where i'm like. This is how this is how it should be run. This is an amazing environment. So so creatively fulfilling and everyone's happy and dancing and there's there's dogs everywhere so to me that so far that's been that stands out and that's so cool. Sounds like a great place to work for that kind of what we do that too. Yeah lots of dan. I mean we are big dancers. Come on prove it door time. Doing dance what's What's when when you think of your filmography and kind of the movies that have been on screen on the big screen What's something that like when you went to see. The movie was just the most like i cannot believe. I'm on the big screen. There's something magical about being on the big screen. I have to imagine. I would say friday the thirteenth. That was a wild experience for me. Working with michael bay again. The cast was was so much. Fun and We get to go to austin. For two months and the when we had our premier in l. a..

"A fabulous sport that people that families could come to and it just didn't work out for me. It was too much pressure. Probably too young at that time Probably a little too inexperienced but at the same time i had a better education than than most other people in the league so it was. It was like voronin i used to talk about. Hey maybe your dad let us move to some obscure city where we would sell out every night. Let let's let's get into that for a second. I don't want to go dragging on too much further because obviously you were really only kind of involved with us. I three years sort of at at the levers here. But i mean it's clear that you're pulling all the all out all the stops right. I mean the celebrities right. We talked with the wrong. About neil diamond ricky schroder and the laser girls who are basically you know essentially the laker girls in a new costume right. Clearly you're pulling all the stops all the synergies that you can buy hooker by crook. But i the that's actually a very telling comment though right see the i guess you figured out fairly early on that the league needed los angeles perhaps more than los angeles needed the esl yes right in and the smaller markets right seemed to be where most of that the the fervor really was because there was only one other team like in saint louis. There was only the blues right. There was no basketball team In a kansas city kind of the same situation in the kings at left and and it was just them and there was no hockey team so kansas city. You know it. It was off the charts right but in a new york metropolitan area the arrows despite their on field success for those first four seasons right. We're not quite a draw on long island and and then when you add in the rockets in newark new metropolitan area. They drew flies to right and i guess the question is. Will you onto something. There was that actually a real idea perhaps move at the lasers to a smaller market and maybe kind of maybe fall more into where the s. l. successor was really happening. Yes and i did talk to my father about that. And i could we at least move down to anaheim or something like that And he said that's a really great idea but that doesn't solve our problem at the forum. We need those dates for subscription based ticket sales which they had the thing called the senate seats At the forum were It was good for all events at the forum and since we brought in She's whatever it was twenty five dates or or more twenty some odd dates. He really needed those four for the forum so he said no. You can't move your you gotta stay here and i. I don't know i mean. We need better cooperation from the from from everybody at the forum. Winning you know. please help us. We need more if we could get more help. If we could utilize the i mean it was nice and you you mentioned this before it was nice to be able to to to have chick hearn. Talk about the laser the lasers on the laker games..
