Florida Church Has Drag Queen Presentation

"Well, I think a lot of Americans are understanding that. The chaos that seems to be forming in this country in every arena of life is largely the product of the left. Why their children are being sexualized at such a young age. Where was this church oh yeah, maples Florida? Congregational church of Christ, I think it was. In Naples, Florida, a city I know pretty well. And the southwest coast of Florida had a an event scheduled an event for kids from about 12 to 16, where they would feature what do they call them again? Drag queens, yeah. They would feature drag queens and have other LGBTQ. Programs and teach them how to be political activists. This is a church. So this is an example of something that's happened in Judaism Protestantism and Catholicism. And that is the left destroying it.

Tracy Robinson: The Origins of 'The Matter of Life' Film

"You must be, you feel like you're right in the middle of the storm right now with this roe V wade debate and the movie is so timely. It's going to be in theaters in what they call those fathom events may 16th and 17th, the movie addresses the issue of abortion through science, philosophy and history. And I love what you said and I've borrowed your phrase clarity kills controversy. Tell me about the evolution of this important movie and why it was so important for you to get behind it and direct it. Well, the origin of this movie started back in 2016, 6 years ago, and my background's in film and video production. And I was commissioned on and off to do testimonial videos and promotional videos for a pro life pregnancy resource center in California. And I had never heard of a pregnancy center before, but I really admired what they were doing to help women in their time of need. And but I wasn't very concerned about the abortion issue. I didn't think it was a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I was pretty much in the mushy middle and apathetic. And it wasn't until my Friends at the pregnancy resource center invited me to an apologetics night and the topic was going to be the case against abortion. And I thought, well, I'll go and check it out and see what my pro life friends are talking about. And in less than two hours, the speaker Alan lehmann of Santos, he gave a clear concise argument for the full humanity of the unborn child from the moment of conception. And the logic and the clarity and just the just simplicity of this message really struck

Phelim McAleer's Daring N.Y. Play Offers the Truth About Abortion

"Welcome back. I'm talking to my friend, the journalist. And mcelhenney is not with us right now. But the two of you have done money very important projects as journalists and artists right now in New York, you have this play gazelle play dot com. Where you're telling the truth about abortion. I mean, more than telling the truth, you're revealing one of the most horrific episodes in modern American history. You're daring to do it in Manhattan. And this is one of the things I just wanted to say, how vital this is, that you're daring to do this in Manhattan. I live my life as well in Manhattan on May 31st. We're doing something. It's the antithesis of incendiary or provocative. We're hosting Apollo 16 astronaut Charlie duke at an event. Anyone who is in New York, I invite you to go to Socrates in the city dot com and come to that event. But if you're New York this weekend, you owe it to yourself to see this play and you said it's gazelle play dot com and you call it verbatim theater. Yes. Which is all you're doing. Every word in that play was taken from a courtroom testimony are from the grand jury report every word. I'm not so and it's a great way of telling a story because you've got all these eyewitnesses telling from all these different points of view, but the one incident about the one series of incidents. And of course, in the courtroom, there's no political slogans. There's everything you say has to be backed up by evidence. So therefore, the truth tends to come out. You know, it's really, well, it's an extraordinary thing.

Will Chamberlain on Ronald Reagan's Favorite Magazine 'Human Events'

"Before we talk about big tech, you were the publisher, human events, fabulous, and newspaper. For those who are not familiar with it, because it's like this silent conservative success story, what say a little bit about human events before we move on to big tech. Oh, sure, yeah. It was Ronald Reagan favorite magazine, but it was basically defunct for about 5 years from about 2014 to 2019. At the time I bought it with Raheem kassam and had him as EIC. We split pretty quickly, but I think we brought back a very higher a little bit of a higher aesthetic. A lot of the early human events articles, especially when I was publishing, were really beautiful art from Ian miles Chong, who's actually on Twitter, one of his most people know I'm just from his tweets, but you wouldn't know that he's actually a very talented graphic artist. And so much of the beautiful art that was on the articles was there. And we just had a lot of very good interesting contributions. I was really trying to push at the time, push the right towards this kind of more almost like pragmatic ruthlessness and achieving things. It kind of connects to big tech because when I was on the aggressive action on big tech, bandwagon back in 2018, 2019 when most conservatives, I think we're still a little hesitant about trying to regulate it because they come from this predisposition. Small government, small government type thing. And we were just really trying to push, no, no, no, that's, in this case, that's a self defeating principle.

Will Chamberlain on the Identity of the SCOTUS Leaker

"He is senior counsel for the article three project formerly publisher of Ronald Reagan's favorite newspaper human events will Chamberlain. Welcome in studio. Obviously great to be here with you, sad. Well, now we have the luxury of a little bit longer to discuss. You were in recently because of a very powerful, long thread you published on Twitter on the possible identity of the Supreme Court leaker, an individual who in her past associations and writings is shown quite a radical bent towards a pro abortion. Since we last, let's just do a little update since we last spoke. Anything changed in that analysis is anything countered that I haven't seen anything? No, there hasn't been anything. There's been, I think, Nina totenberg tried to suggest that it was a conservative clerk, but her analysis didn't have any connections to the reporters. It was just speculation about, well, a conservative clerk would have seen the strategic value of doing it this way because it fixes the justices in their positions. Right, because conservatives are the ones who break the rules. That's what conservatives do. Right. And also what conservative clerk is going to subject their own justice to the kind of protests that we've been seeing at their houses. And they know that's coming. Clerks know what the left does, especially in this town. So I just don't see it. I think as my analysis was from the beginning, this is probably the work of a desperate liberal law clerk trying to preserve roe V wade, and then in that threat I showed how this one particular clerk for justice Breyer, Elizabeth deutsch, not only has an extensive record through her career in her academic work of trying to work on pro abortion and reproductive rights causes, and that Josh gerstein, the journalist who published the leak of Politico at Politico, went to her wedding, co wrote, was a shared bylines with her husband. "We just got through with Ukraine, a man who has a lot of thoughts on Ukraine. I'm sure, is Jack besovic, human events daily, Jack welcome back to the Charlie Kirk show. Andrew, thank you so much for having me on. Jack, I sort of teased you in a false way there because we can get to Ukraine. And maybe we'll get that in segment too, because I know. We can talk about the America last spending bill that was just pushed forward by 70%. 70%, 149 of two 11 in the house GOP voted for this thing. The last launch into it. Launch into give me your take. Well, I don't usually quote Tupac, but I might have to drop a few bars because Tupac, I think, famously said, you know, they got money for wars, but they can't feed the poor, right? And we're in that situation right now where literally I've got friends with newborns that newborns or babies, and they can't find baby formula. They're like, you got grandma's circling, you know, hitting up targets and walmarts across the Midwest across Pennsylvania. And we can't feed our own children. We can't prevent incursions on our own southern border. But we're going to spend 40 billion of your dollars and send it overseas to a war in Eurasia where there is no American direct national interest. That's your government. Right. That's exactly right. That's a miracle last. And it's a bipartisan consensus, which is the most infuriating

Why Charlie Was Banned From Twitter and Didn't Grovel To Get Back On

"I want to talk about a couple of things in particular, and then we can go into some Q&A, which is obviously the most fun part of all this. So I don't have a Twitter account currently. So I got banned from Twitter. You might know this. So this has been one of the most interesting unexpected news cycles in my whole ten years of doing this. So I got banned from Twitter for participating in dead naming. Do you guys know what dead naming is? Okay, I didn't know before I tweeted. So here's one of the things and I'm technically suspended from Twitter, not banned just to get the words correctly. We'll get into what that means. So here's how you know you're living in kind of a tyrannical moment. When you can't keep track of all the rules that you're supposed to follow, I mean, if you're like me, I can't keep track of all of them, right? They're going to kick you out of a social club or social media because you're like, wait, what even is that? So I tweeted out, I think a month ago about the current health czar, a person by the name calls themselves the name Rachel Levine, whatever, okay? And I said this person used to have a name Richard Levine for 54 years of their life and then transitioned. Okay, whatever. And I said that in a tweet and then you can't even use the name that used to exist, right? Can't do that. It's called dead naming, so you lose your account for that. And then in kind of like a Soviet show trial way, Twitter comes out and they say, okay, in order to get your Twitter account back, you have to admit that you violated our hate speech policies and press the delete button. So we very well could have done that. But happened to the Babylon B like two days before that. And then it happened to us. And I thought to myself, you know, I traveled to these events all across the country. And I tell young people involved at turning point USA, you know, it's worth fighting for conservative values. But it might cost you

"Because I had an experience in which I was at an event is speaking with and after the course I sent and we would always incurred, we'd always send press releases to Grady and we'd always make sure that they wanted to send somebody they could. And it was an experience in which let's just say that the reporter who come and I'll just leave it completely, you know, amorphous here do not know. Came in, did want to be there, you could tell, you know, and I get that. But then when it started the interview, it was from a very one side of it. And when I didn't answer the way it was expected, it just threw the whole and it was just, it got aggressive, and that was a mistake from someone who really never interviewed it. Somebody who had been interviewed hundreds of times, that was not a good way to go. So we made it through it, but it said to me that can we give them some more realistic fundamentals. This is how you do this that would help them because sooner or later they were going to be this person would be at a gust of this person maybe in Atlanta. This person maybe knocks wherever it is. And it's good reporting is good for everybody. And I think that's the thing that I want to emphasize here and I think it's important from what you're upbringing was as well. Going back to Trump, the thing that angers me is I just think to myself, again, he did such good as president. And sometimes I think that he just, he really just harms himself. He just needs to shut it. No, I couldn't agree more. I felt that from the beginning.

Dr. Keith Rose Describes the 'Rule of Exchange'

"Let me just make sure I'm getting this straight, doctor Rhodes. Pfizer is basically saying, oh, these aren't, you know, this isn't real data and Marjorie Taylor Greene's full of it because, you know, we can't verify all of this. Isn't this the same excuse that those on the left used to debunk the VAERS data because they said they couldn't verify all the adverse events? Is this what's happening here? Right. You have to understand when you listen to the mainstream media or liberal progressives. I call it the rule of exchange. They exchange one set of data for another set of reasons. And they use it back and forth. A great example is the governor of your state Gavin Newsom, who is now trying to take the medical license from any physician they're pushing a bill right now at your state legislature to take the medical license from any position that quote promotes misinformation. And at the same time, Gavin Newsom, who locked down an entire state and is trying to force vaccines was out, I think it was 72 hours ago and his quote was where he's upset about roe versus wade. And he said, remember, my body, your body, your choice. So again, liberals use the slogans that fit their narrative. And if you say anything else, like you said, it's misinformation.

Josh Hammer on This Week's Unprecedented Events Surrounding SCOTUS

"I have the privilege now of welcoming the next guest to the show. Josh hammer, the opinion editor for newsweek, Josh, welcome to the Charlie Kirk show. Andrew, good to see you, my Friends. Always a pleasure. I likewise, likewise. You are, in my opinion, one of the most prescient legal minds on the conservative side. I think you're very fair. I think you try and play it very fair, but you write extensively about the constitution, you are very well versed on the Supreme Court. Obviously you're the opinion editor at newsweek, so you have a very powerful platform. From a legal mind such as yours, looking at what's been going on over the past week and really accelerated over the last couple of days over the weekend, trying to paint a picture for the audience listening just how unprecedented this is and just how truly radical it is in your estimation. Yeah, no, Andrew, there's so much to unpack here, obviously. But before we get into the constitution and the Dobbs case and all of that, just any pro life perspective, someone who personally, you know, I cofounded law students for life, the pro life student group back when I was in law school at the University of Chicago. I have marched in sub zero temperatures in Chicago, back when I was in law school there on four life, it is really, really, really terrible that the culmination of now a half century of pro life efforts to speak on behalf of unborn children for the sacredness of all innocent human life has now been sullied by this unprecedented and really just disgusting alinsky eyed at all cost tactics that we are now seeing. And, you know, it's easy to call things unprecedented, but in this particular case, Andrew, they're literally is zero precedent for what we are seeing right now. This kind of thing simply does not happen. The Supreme Court literally can only get by when the justice is the clerks know that their emails are not going to be leaked because if the entire notion of a government of laws and not of men to kind of borrow the famous quip from John Adams back from the 1780s, if that phrase means anything at all, it means that the judicial branch and the Supreme Court in particular can not possibly be swayed or cowed by public mob

Let's start with number one snow bike. Mike spiderman two will be return of the jedi. Dark we are going to aegean dot com. Where jared more rights marvel has said that insomniacs spiderman two will present fans with a darker. Follow up to his previous two installments comparing the game tone to the empire strikes back speaking on a recent episode of this week in marvel. Podcast created vice. President and marvel entertainment's bill roseman gave fans a brief insight into what they can expect from spiderman to quote. If the first spiderman game was star wars spiderman. Two is kind of our empire. Roseman said it gets a little darker. It's first spidey adventure. Did well the set fans up with the studios. Take on peter parker by exploring elements of the characters superhero secret identity and relationships without leaning too far into Too far too early in some spider-man's gritter grittier storylines they alson recap miles morales. But you know the great game replay elsewhere in the interview. Roseman remained relatively tight lipped when talking about insomniacs upcoming wolverine game which was also showed off in a brief teaser trailer. At this year's place to showcase quote we will eventually review a when wolverine his aim to launch rosewood. Said for more. go back and study those trailers. They are packed with details and easter eggs and quote all well and good about wolverine. Yeah we'll hear about that whatever. Snow bike mike. How do you feel about a darker spiderman to noah greg. I'm into it. I mean it's a awesome studio. An awesome team created an awesome game. And if they want to get a little dark and grittier with the storyline. I'm into that right. I'm not actually into really. I don't really care about a darker lighter story lying. Because i'm here for the big hero moments rally. That's what when i read this. I was like what that's all well and good. I'm here for that epa conclusion. That finale we saw on spiderman one. Ah right at the end of miles that made you cry and how beautiful that was like all that lead up to. That moment doesn't really matter to me. I'm here for the big a off moments. But i'm interested mean venom a love venom and i wanna see something scary. I wanna see something mean into a little gritty is fine with me first off everybody in your on not everybody george. Lucas linke dragging thank you very much. Keep me honest. I screwed up spider earth. Unlock the star. Wars reference introduced it. Right as the article says empire strikes back dark. I said we're trying to the jet dark. Of course. I love you walks. What am i gonna say. All right. he walks the mcmuffins muffins in my life. All right. let's get them out there. Let's see what they're up to. What are they doing a walk. I mean they're fine when they sing after murdering people up God what what. Hey go kevin correcting my headlines to to to be empire strikes back dr close on you know what i mean for me mike with this story. Obviously i'm a huge vitamin fan. Where do you fall. I forget spiderman. Insomniac spider man spider man with miles you into your loved them. Yeah yeah this is great. It's a top tier game and got play it in so for me. This isn't surprising because this is what. I've been predicting for so long right and i think that's what's interesting about this mike. So of course. We've had the trailer playstation showcase Miles spidey fighting side by side. They're against you know some electricity or they're shooting off. They're beaten up much bad guys and then of course venom at the end. It's craven if you ask me talking over it. Of course talking about the hunt stuff seen okay was going to be an event is going to be in it but i stand by that. I think we're getting for the story. Line is is that this game will with spiderman and miles morales and i should say peter spiderman The spiderman all right. The spider men. Mike start off with them fighting harry. Of course these are full blown. Spoilers for spiderman spiderman. miles morales. Everybody you had your chance all right. You should all have these platinum trophies. I don't know what to do for you. I the spiderman. It'll be fighting. Harry who we see at the end of spiderman. Ps four right in the tank or whatever And then of course. We have more easter eggs for him but like he's already got the beat on him. He's already going to be that. i think i don't know if it'll be as direct as kingpin was at the beginning of spiderman where it was like soon as we went. We took down kingpin. It might be. Maybe there's a few missions building up. we already know. Harry's outwear he no he's got the symbionese acting a fool. Whatever though early in that game. I think you're gonna fight as a you know a miles. Peter you'll take down a harry spidey. Peter will get this being on him then. We will get some time with him. New things to unlock new suit upgrades to go that way but it will continue to make him more and more aggressive more and more angry and then at some point we do the flip where we start planning is miles peter's now the bad guy and we have to go after peter and fight him leading up to the end where of course it gets free and we have to fight and that's where we go off and do it that way and so that's higher storyline right and i think to do the symbicort well to do the venom storyline. Well you have to get dark. You have to have a meter. Peter you have to have. Peter being meaner mary jane associate. You're gonna introduce venom here. You seem to be the third act. He's gotta be terrifying bone-crunching bloody kind of villain right. He's gotta take spiderman to that precipice in and beat him nearly the desk to then have it. Be something that matters mike. Does that sound right. Does that so wrong. No i'm happy that you're alongside me because that sounds great to me. I'm really excited about that. And if that's the way they go. That sounds really really awesome. I would ask you the question then for me right who somebody who gets lost in these open world games because you're doing fetch quests defense quest and sometimes the story trickles off and then you've got to kind of be reared back into it. Do you worry that you can't hit on that darker tone them really haven't impactful story when i'm going after a backpack or casing lunar new landmark of fighting the same enemy the thousands time in a side quest doesn't really matter no. I don't think so. Because i think it's shown time and time again how talented. They aren't. How much reverence they have for this material. So i do think that even if it is us as black suit peter Going off right. Because i feel like we have to build that tension that peter starting to go awry. I maybe maybe. I'm wrong that one peter does get the symbian. We flipped miles then and we are playing moslo time at seeing. Peter get you know a little bit more Off the beaten path. Which i guess would make more sense for what you're talking about but i go back to you know. Remember for spiderman. Ps four.

"I missed the trip in 2017 when our interleague play with against an essential so I missed. Miss going to Milwaukee. I believe 15 even went there or I don't know. Maybe the Brewers came to us. I'm not sure. But I know I missed a couple of the N L central parts that year. Just being out do tow. Being on the deal or whatever, but No. So I've been to the park. Actually, when I played in Beloit in 2013 with the Oakland A's, you know, low 18 way had like a day off for whatever. We took a trip up to Miller Park and that the odds were in town playing the brewers, so we want to go see a game there so Really cool. Obviously a neck, citing ballpark really neat, ballpark rich tradition history, you know, Fan base team playoff team. It's all it's all exciting stuff. Even a great sports city. You got the bucks in the Packers and you know, it's just a good good city tow to go and play in and, you know, fans of great. So, um, definitely excited. Tol back and see. See the new name The Ballpark. Last thing for you, and this is really cool. You've got the Robertson Family Foundation on Do you support families who are impacted by cancer? I know it. Z honors. Your father was a non smoker who believe passed away from lung cancer in 2013 Key talk. A little bit more about this organization and what you're trying to do with it. Absolutely So. As you mentioned lost my lost my father in 2013. So after that we kind of started coming up with ideas like Hey, how How can I give back How can we impact the community that I'm either playing in or the community I grew up in? And just how can we help family who are in need and We just wait. I didn't realize how how it's a stretch. T get a foundation going. There's a lot of legality, things you have to go through. And just, um it's a long process to get it going so I think we started the process shortly after my dad passed, so it's a 2000 and 13 14, and we didn't have our first event till 2016. So, um Basically just as far as the events go, we stole the ideas from just the race fan fest that I would go to back in the day. Um, you know, just like any other team doesn't like a winner Caravan or we would set up games. Fans would purchase the tickets. Oh, enter the facility we use and we would have kind of game set up autograph section. Um Food trucks like you name it. It was there. It was a big old fan fest and I would get about I don't know. 20 give or take 2025 of my local pro pro ballplayer buddies in the area. You know who would come out and help me out with these events? And its author men. We've raised a ton of money over the last couple years doing these events and It. It's one thing to do the events and have people come out and 13. You know, money flow, but but when you are able to take the money and put it to use and help families Who you know are able to provide and we pay for whether it's a month on their house mortgage or six months on their house mortgage, Whatever it is this any way we could help with. Medical bills, Whatever, that's what we do, and, um, there was one more thing I was going to touch on and it's slipping, slipping my head. But all that said it was just basically if the breadwinner of the family is sick and can't work. Provide for their family. That's what we're there to do. Obviously, when when my dad was going through treatment, our life didn't didn't change drastically, You know, and ah, lot of families aren't in that in that position. Um So it just really hit home and I know how tough it is going through it. And some of you know, life changes that happens and our goal was just to get out and help those families in need. And like I said, there's nothing more humbling and just Heart feeling than than being able to have people apply for assistance and eventually Help him out financially. So we've been able to do that with quite a few families, you know, really in the last year, too, and it's a bummer this year. Obviously, it's hard to Do an actual in person event so We're actually setting up something next week to try to do some virtually just to get it gone. I would imagine it. It's probably not going to raise as much money as we have in the last couple years, but It's definitely something just suggest to keep the foundation going and keep the name out there and just let people know what we do. Uh, just long story short. I've already had a chance to help a family in Wisconsin. That heard, you know, through the wire What I do so it Z. It's Z. Honestly, the success on the field, the Baseball stuff that comes with it is one thing but to be able T B on somewhat of a platform toe do this is what I've always kind of dreamed of. You know, Seo be a big Well, not even a big name guy yet, but, you know, obviously as my crew progressive. Hopefully I get that point. And you know, this thing really takes off, but I've had help from, you know, guys like Albert Pool halls and Joe Kelly, good friends of mine that come out. Josh Hater has been to one of my events. Those are just to name a few guys that are, you know, established big leaguers, And then a lot of you know, I can't even think the name other guys but just a few t o that have come out to help me. So it's I'm really I mean, like in all of it, because I didn't know how to the capacity of how we could help. But to see it happen is is often I know I kind of took that on longer. Probably wanted to, but I just for anyone. Listen out there, please. They're saying when you know it needs help, Whatever. Please apply for assistance, and we will help out any way we can so Definitely definitely love that we're able to do that. So thanks. Thanks for asking about it. Yeah, it's an awesome thing you're doing and the.

"Your wake up Call K of I am 6 40 live everywhere on the I heart radio app well, Federal Judge Amy Cockney. Barrett was sworn in as the newest member of the Supreme Court. Justice Clarence Thomas gave Barrett Clarence Thomas that is gave Barrett her first oath at the White House ceremony last night. My heartfelt thanks go to the members of the White House staff and Department of Justice. Who worked tirelessly to support me through this process, Barrett says politics and her personal beliefs will not influence their work on the high court. She will get her second oath in a private ceremony today, We'll talk more about that with Aaron Carter ski in just a second. In fact, let's do it right now, Aaron. Good morning, So Amy Cockney there. It went through her first both yesterday and then it's the judicial oath that she goes through today. Yeah, and by tradition that the chief justice who will administer probably in a more private ceremony, but we're not sure. But once she fulfills both oaths, she said associate justice of the U. S. Supreme Court who could begin hearing cases immediately. What cases would be first that she would see Well, you know, we don't know that you know the the exact first one. But we know that on the Supreme Court calendar the week after Election Day comes a case involving the affordable care act as Republicans and the Trump Administration are in court to try to strike down the affordable care act. Ted Barrett has written extensively about it on DH Democrats pressed her on it, but she would not commit. She said during her confirmation hearing that she wasn't sure this case would involve the kind of provisions to strike down. Uh, the affordable care act protection of people with preexisting conditions. But effectively, the Trump Administration is asking the court to strike down the whole law because it has already Ah struck down pieces of it and the Esso so in effect everything About the affordable care act is on the table. When it comes to Amy, Cockney Barrett and her philosophy. We've keep hearing over and over again that she's a constitutional originalist. What exactly does that mean? Well, to hear her tell it, she interprets the Constitution, based on How she she sees the founders intricate. And so that tends, Tio leave less. Ah, room, perhaps for for guess for interpretation for they try toe. Stick to the words as written. We're not sure in practice what that's going to mean, She says. She's not going to necessarily be a facsimile of justice Scalia Who seemed to take the You know that that interpretation to the extreme, But she says she will be fair and impartial. She asserted that she will declare independence not only from Congress and the president but also from her personal Police. Now I know last night at the confirmation hearing, some people weren't necessarily criticizing her being sworn in, but it was more of calling it a super spreader event. Why was that was it didn't have to do with mess? Well. There were masks at the event last night. But remember when she was nominated by President Trump and announced in the Rose Garden, there were a number of people, including the president and first lady. You were later diagnosed with Corona virus. Eso that that became. I think I think in the final count was somewhere around a dozen people that ended up testing positive for covert 19. So Dr Foxy labeled it a super better event. This looked a little bit different, more social distancing more masks. It's still a big crowd. And it was as if the White House has sort of defiantly mimicking its its first event involving now justice Barritt. Nonetheless, though, she it was administered the oath by Justice Thomas So she's on her way toward ascension of the Supreme Court. All right, well, we'll keep an eye on everything and we'll find out we'll, of course everybody is going to be watching with, you know, just the utmost focused on what her decisions are because you're going to want to see immediately. What kind of a justice issue. What way did she go? And, you know, it's always interesting. Even what they say when they're before Congress versus how they actually go on the bench are two completely different things, so we'll see how it is. Okay? Yeah, I think so. She's been She does confirm a 63 conservative majority almost instantly, and Democrats will be watching to see if she does divorce, her academic writings and some of her personal views from her judicial rulings. All right, we'll keep an eye on it, Aaron. Thank you Have a good one. You too. Thanks. See you later. ABC is Aaron Carter Ski All right, Let's get back to some of the stories coming out of the cake. If I 24 Albert newsroom, how are we? A week away from voting? It's hard to believe that the election is finally here. I think the reason it's hard to believe that the election is finally here because they feel like we've been talking about the election for the last year. Daly. Multiple times. "We were talking about? Washington D. C. How one event outdoors. In the White House Rose Garden attended by maybe 100 150. People led to at least seven Covad 19 diagnoses to people presently. In the hospital, and those numbers are growing. That's just one event on one day outdoors. Think about that when I say that in Florida bars and nightclubs are back in business following the governor's executive order, and this was a surprise announcement. Florida Governor Rhonda Santa's has lifted all restrictions. On restaurants and other businesses, including bars and clubs. They're going back to normal. They're goingto have Ah, ah, Covad 19 fest in every way, Quote There will not be limitations from the state of Florida. Close quote that is Governor Ron De Santis. The order moves every county into phase three and under the order. Local leaders cannot find people for failing to wear a mask in public. Leaders can't force restaurant owners to use less than 50% indoor capacity. Counties must provide specific reasons if restaurants are still not at full capacity in the new phase, and evidently Cove in 19 is not a good enough reason and all businesses must be allowed to open including bars and nightclubs. Whatthe hell could could go wrong here. I mean, This is a free country and you are free to be an idiot. But the only problem with this is one person's idiocy. May make another person sick. That's the problem with that. Your idiocy won't be limited to just you, isn't it? Okay? To not have to suffer the sins of other folks, isn't it okay not to have to deal with the bad judgment of other people. But since the executive order has gone into effect, places like the elbow room Had plenty of patrons not wearing mass and not social distancing. Inside. Here's one of the guests. Chris Nelson was one not wearing the masses what he said. I had to say, quote. We need our freedom. We need to get out and about and hopefully the virus will stay down. Hopefully we'll hopefully he's going to put her on hope This he is watching the same news that we're watching. And this is not about being fearful. This is about just being sensible. Hey, you know there's there's our old old story about, um, a place like Florida I was, I believe is in the Bible's A tell of two cities. Oh, was it something? I think that's what it was? Yeah. Look Unfortunately, people are confusing freedom with stupidity. They're not the same thing. I have to freedom to not wear a mask right now. I have the freedom to go hang out indoors with all my friends and have a raging keg party. I have that freedom. It would be a dumb thing to do. It would be really dumb. Oh, here's something else which is done. Florida martial arts school billed taxpayers over $350,000 for Ghost kids funded by public grants. The United Martial Arts academy offered an array of self defense training, including the tiny Tigers and Little Dragon courses for kids. But investigators say that many of those little dragons and tigers were actually phantoms with the academy falsely billing over 350,000. For non existent students and fake employees. They went all the way students and employees. Or fake Kelly Mendoza regulatory who ran the school's books. She ran the academy with her husband, martial arts instructor Henry Regalado, who describes himself is holding 1/9 degree. Black belt in Shaolin Kung fu to Allah What I have never taken you know it could askyou I've never taken kung fu. But I've never know them to have Belts as opposed to sash is one the one. It's a sash. You know who this man is? Night degree. Didn't know how many levels of grand bastard this guy asked me to be running this type of a racket. Well, we'll go before we go to break the wife is being charged. With an organized scheme to defraud grand theft and communications fraud. The school itself was charged as a defendant. Prosecutors say they academy fraudulently billed over 350,000 from the Miami Dade Children's Trust, a taxpayer funded organization that awards grants to programs that serve poor and at risk Children. So not only are they going to jail They're going to hell. This is the most Kelly show. Okay, if I am 6 40. We're live everywhere on.

"Futures talking about his new book the storm before the calm so you mentioned the twenty twenties there are two things that are going to be solved what are those two things well the first thing is going to be the federal government the federal government's problem is digit brilliant job the World War two it stopped itself with experts the experts do an excellent job but one expert doesn't talk to the next experts say you get a health care bill that nobody understands and certainly no citizen can understand you can't have a democracy with the citizens don't understand the rules under which they live or what's happening and that's creating a crisis alongside that Christmas is this is basically what happened in the last cycle was the collapse of American industry that overstated but basically and the creation of a massive army of underemployed and unemployed who used to work in an industry the only way it happened but this was a core thing and these people have become embittered and these people look at the rest of the country is alien and these are the people that created Donald Trump and now there's a struggle between the states that voted for Clinton that old west coast in the northeast as far as but not including North Carolina the rest of the country pretty much voted for trump and we have a kind of massive division in the country that's going to take awhile to work out one of the things is really interesting in this that Donald Trump three destroyed the Republican establishment when he beat Jeb bush he destroyed up there is no democratic establishment and when you look at Democrats debating it's like we used to do in junior high school New York insult each other as well as we can so the culture they created trump is also created Sutherland and we are going to be fighting this out through this election and next it almost doesn't matter who gets elected because the presidency's paralyzed so what's what's the solution I mean you mention in your book and I and I about education and I really think the whole nature of education needs to be changed the you know going to college axe wanted it further stimulates this economic divide that some kid from a family making thirty five grand a year past the now pays three hundred thousand dollars over four years to get a good education I think no that was that hash tag D. phoned Planned Parenthood I think soon in the next decade you may see the hash tag to de fund higher education but I don't know how that all plays out but I've thought about that your book kind of also made me think about that again that's sort of our method of educating children and young adults is is very flawed and really out of touch with the new society in the New World we live in well the way I put it in the book is this look the purpose of the top thirty five colleges is not educate you can get is well educated in a community college it is to give you the social links that you're going to need to dominate society there enough the problem is that you are not any longer getting the people Mike me too bad nothing and allowing them to rise there's a question in the Harvard application is this the kind of person you would like to room with is this the kind of person you'd like to have dinner with so one of the criteria is are you the kind of fellow that are already there it's like being in F. Scott fitzgerald novel of nineteen twenties the other problem is that the universities are sending their girls and maintaining incredible inefficiency professors teaching six nine hours a week happier it was a professor plaza the highest paying part time job I ever had and they're sending this through student loans the student the government gives them these loans loans pass on to the university university the bar is all sorts of people who aren't like them and then raises salaries and everything else so you end up with sixteen trillion dollars in student loans guaranteed by the federal government that's bigger than the subprime crisis in his first year in the first event was so you have this problem you know I look at Columbia University it owns some of the prime land in New York City NY you why is it necessary to have parks for universities why can't they live in office buildings you have residual pleasant but it is what so there is a huge problem that's developing here which is that the university's basically make divide deeper second the resources in the United states of the country so one fact I'm older Britons the veterans of the Iraq Iran war eighteen years only three hundred and five read needed to be thirty five best colleges in the United States with the GI bill created a massive middle class of massive professional class our fathers and grandfathers came through that process is gone so this guy has to be overthrown and that is one of the places where the children of the industrial working class a line I think with blacks who have similar interests are going to be attacking very heavily I don't know what I don't get is how does that be resolved I mean Elizabeth Warren and others are free college you know student loan forgiveness but that's sort of working within the old infrastructure I mean to me with every old infrastructure is is is crumbling you know you have the rise of the YouTube influencer or the the person on Instagram is making more than the Harvard graduate so you know you have this structure you know what how does that get resolved I mean you have the sort of libertarians say get rid of it all you have the sort of the growing consensus of the Democratic Party is now you know pay off everyone's loans interestingly enough the president and the Republican Party has no real solution for this or haven't they don't probably embrace sort of libertarian of of get it all you know got it all but but they have and you see that with even though the recent tax bill there was a there was a start where they were saying Hey we're going to get rid of the tax loophole that you know T. A.'s in teaching assistants gotten they said I will once I keep that back on there you know because they need help so how does that get resolved I mean there's two completely divergent points of view and and most people still want their kids to go to a good school in a moment most kids if people listening today I want my kid to go to a good school although I don't know I'm rethinking it I mean I I'm my kids are younger so I'm a child I guess of the industrial class and and I view the end of the college world is kinda you know I don't I don't know if it really helps so I mean I enjoyed my college days I enjoyed learning but I don't think it you need to do it in three hundred grand for your kids to get a degree so what well we'll talk about that after we return from the next break will get George Friedman's take George is the author of the new book the storm before the calm it's the free book that we're giving away to those of you who schedule and keep your no obligation corona virus and the market correction review give us a.

Like to hear you on this, this argument about the temperature I notice only women called so far some maybe you have to step it up. I think men are afraid to say, well, no, we should definitely make it a little bit cooler in there because they're afraid of the women or something. I'm not. Let's see, what would I don't understanding here and I were talking about this, the break is that why you know how you were saying about, you know, somebody can cover up or somebody has said like take something off in order to, to brighten it up. It's the same thing like in the corner and this happens with with Lauren. I where? Both of our vehicles have the dual climate thing. So I look, you know, we can I can set my sight colder, you know. And then I just the put the fans that blow, you know, more and then, you know, I had an iphone great, but then she'll she'll want to, like put it lower. What are you doing? You know, if you feel that cold culture van problems. See the argument over the fan doesn't make any sense, because you can you can open and close in modern cars, generally speaking on a modern car, you can make the driver's side, you know, how to warmer or cooler, the passenger side. Utter a cooler, so she actually wants to control the fan. Wow. And that's the thing. You're saying. Us now and then, even even like her car like kind of fancy. So it's got like the Vinson the seat. So I can even take it up a notch and put some, some cool air hitting like my back, which is a great, you know. But she'll look at me like you know why are you so, so how'd on that side or whatever? It's like why are you so called on that side? And, and why not just put like I said, put the if I put it on on high or whatever close you fan. You'll be okay. Good. What's going, Mario? Seven seventy to the poor. He does not covet. He puts you know what he does. He wasted. You get good lotta that he loves it. Couldn't load. It's crazy. By the way, Paul, I've got some fancy cars. I don't have any car that has Vince in the seat. Now, I don't want Vinson the seat him afraid of where the go out of one events in my seat. What he'd like it going to vent? This seat is going to be me now the Air's coming through the seat at the ball into the seat. Right. Because I've done that plenty. Yeah. I'm I don't wanna talk about it now it almost like you said laurel exit colder than you do. I'm saying the opposite. Thank because I'm saying that I want the fan to blow harder. You know, so I can get more cool there. And then she'll try to put it like an like at low and I'm trying to put it in medium, or high. And I'm just like not understanding why if like if the Air's bother you close the vent, so sexist. So what's it like at your house? Temperature. I wanted to he's walking around and coats. I'm sure they're all shifts. I hear this every single night, man. It's cold in here. Can't you face? Shove a mouth Mike. What's on TV? I don't know. I totally see saying those heated blankets. The weather's great up there. You're more than what? Absolutely. Awesome. Try it now. That's what I'm saying. Judy got about a minute for you. Let's go. Flee is wonderful. You're right. No, not say that her words if you know, look, I speak, Michigan. Let me translate this for you. What she said was Joe. You're right. I didn't hear that. We'll say Joe Joe Joe. Are you gonna lower rate to like are you gonna be watching with other people or do you need to have your own space that you can be locked in? And that intense. No. Be around people. So you're you're corner, you know, really depend early use like a skilled player, you know, you don't really get involved in the head cracking every single playing and just the aggression of just running other people seven he does they'll play defense. Yeah. Domino's says why would you ever run into somebody when you can run away from somebody more sense, right? Heavy smart as others animal animalistic instincts ridiculous. "But he was on the first page, you're probably a little too far back ago and Adam had win how to wide margin even though it was a five hundred one shot at long winning tournament. But can't let was on the first page of the leaderboard last going into the final round really didn't get anything moving and kinda struggled a little bit with his potty last week, but a different surface here this week southern California guy before last week's on night place finish eating, you know, he had a fifth place finish in second place finish kind of back in November and December. So he looks like he's a guy that I think that I think certainly is ready to win and and break out a little bit Snickers guy played. I just went with because two time winner here two second places here. I mean, he's just a horse, for course. And I think, you know, get Tana. Include him a little bit. Gary woodland was another guy another guy liked here. He had that heartbreaker in the first week where he lost the Hawaii tournament and Capitola and then play the next week and why missed the cop and he took last week off big. He has had some time to get over that he's got a couple of top ten here. And then one I took a kind of a big number here who who do not have a very good year last year is Matsuyama at fifty to one and some even got him even higher than that. He wasn't healthy last year. I think his back was bothering him. And you know, he's only played one event. Didn't you know made the cop of never really contended at the Sony? But he looks a little more fit. He looked healthy. And you know, these are tournaments. This is the time of year. We usually see, you know, in the past months Yama has won like, we're. Getting around Phoenix worries one. And and you know, I think that you gotta be this is a big number in this field. And and then, you know, nother couple local angles I did play JJ and one hundred to one he's the San Diego guy played a video state. So you know, I felt that there were worse longer shots put your money. I mean, generally you wanna back class players here. But I think this is a pretty open field. And I think when you get when you get hydro in the field that is gonna usually provide value to other guy China's in maybe especially in middle price ranges. So you know, looking forward to this tournament. I mean, there's a real a lot of class in this event. Obviously not football this weekend except for the Pro Bowl in the senior bowl and then hockey taking the break. So perfect time for tiger to come back and generate some of the media attention to this event. I I liked him. Actually, I'm play. I mean, I didn't play him this week. I do like the thought process there. And you know, this is one of those where you know, no offense to your play. But if Matsuyama misses the cut here, or you know, plays poorly on Sunday, something like that. I don't mind cause I I would like to look to take him next week at the Phoenix Open. You know, just because you mentioned guy that's one there a guy that seems unflappable with that event. And we'll talk about that about next week. Even in the midst of all the Super Bowl stuff because that event is at absolute blast to watch. It's a bucket list thing for me, I would love to be able to go to that. But he's a guy that's kind of unflappable in those conditions. And you know, he doesn't show. Well, here be able to keep his price a little bit higher next week. Right. And then I probably be the same. I mean, maybe that's maybe the punishment. But you know, he would be died to play Phoenix next week as well. All right. So I wanna talk a little bit of college basketball here. And I wanna talk about Purdue and Ohio State tonight. And I did a local amber radio spot here on Friday. And you know, we talked about the Ohio State game against Maryland. And how just been playing really really poorly Maryland was coming in playing pretty well, Ohio State was three and a half point favorite..
