What's Next for Jake Paul? Sizing up the 4-0 Boxer's Future
"What jake paul will do is find older smaller. If they're boxers by trade. And i'm talking a year or two down the line find an older smaller guy with boxing background. And by then jake. Paul has been boxing for five years. Now it's a little bit different. The old adage and boxing it takes six years to make a ten round fighter. Not a good one just a guy who can go ten rounds and handle himself. Jake hasn't been six years yet in the in the fight game. Not like that. But if he is in the five game three four years from now and he's still taking it seriously and they've built him carefully and made all these millions in these big events and he's gotten all these training camps and experience and everything is it possible he can turn into an actual competent prizefighter. It's not impossible. It doesn't look likely at this moment but the kid has guts. He trained hard. He fights hard. It's not impossible.
Gene and Roger: Partners Shared Unique Relationship
"In nineteen ninety-one jean-ann. Roger sat down for acuna with playboy magazine. The interview was nearly ten thousand words long. And you've really gotta read it. Imagine an intense couples therapy session. But with stories about marker sese and tom cruise thrown in it also gives a good glimpse at how gene and roger were getting along their relationship. Status wasn't quite thumbs up or thumbs down. It was more sideways in the playboy interview. They go out of their way to complement each other. But it's also clear that the years of squabbling between the two had done some damage and the things had taken a turn for the worse at one point. Jean says i felt strange from roger the last month to we've been drifting apart but as the nineties went on gene and roger sometimes awkward union would become less contentious. Thanks to some big events in their offscreen lives. Here's marlene eagleton. Jeans wife the most dramatic change came about. After rogers marriage. The chat nineteen ninety. Two and gene was a bubble husband and father for family was to joy inker and when roger married chance he experience like the same thing with her enter children and our grandchildren and it just became a strong bond between the two of them that they weren't headed but the edges started too often.

"I'm no scenic today. Focus how simone. Biles changed gymnastics both on and off the mat. Tamani the news of simone biles withdraw from those events last week completely stunned the world of sport and beyond you were there in the arena. Watching her compete. What was your first reaction. It was quite an unprecedented in gymnastics. The olympics is the bulan endo. It's the big event that gymnastics floor every four years and so for bios to kind of withdraw from the team final immediately. it was quite it was just. It was shocking. It initially was in sutton if it was a physical issue and then soon after that a commentator from from nbc suggested that it was mental. And you know in the mid of the meet the usa gymnastics released a statement saying that she had a medical condition. And so there's so much going on your. In-Skill Purchasing in Canada
"Hello. Terry here. It's Monday. It's a big pig week. There's lots of events going on. We got the voice ten going on, sponsored by Amazon, Lexi, and Google Assistant. We've also got voice, lies happening, Thursday, and from more about that to come. But as I spoke about last week, as you know, Lexi live was Amazon's big event last week and they announced a whole bunch of new features. One of these, I am very intrigued by because this is a teacher that has been available in the United States for quite some time now. And now it is finally available here in Canada. This is called in skill purchasing. So what that means is that now developers that are creating skills, have the option of actually selling to Canadians through the skill additional options or features or other products through the skill. So essentially, I'll give you an example. A skill may have a series of sounds that you can listen to. And so a lot of those sounds are free but if you want the expanded, Sound pack or if you want sounds, for example, without any ads or commercials you have the option of through the skill, purchasing that Premium Edition of the skill and this is wonderful because it gives the consumer, the option of purchasing those, those pieces of content that are providing some added value. And for the developer's side, it's a way for them to monetize their skills and and turn that helps grow the whole ecosystem. If you will, when it comes to Amazon Echo, devices and Lexie. So yes, Amazon just announced that took International expansion of the in skilled purchasing is live and specifically. They said that they have pushed us out to India and Canada at this time.
Olympic Opening Ceremony Creative Director Fired Over Holocaust Joke
"The opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics. It's fair to say that the run up to these games couldn't have been more troubled has already been political scandal, most recently the sacking of the opening ceremonies artistic director over a joke about the Holocaust just one day before the big event. Tokyo has just recorded its highest number of new daily covid infections for six months, so with empty stadiums and residents told to not even gather for public screenings of events. This will certainly be Olympics like no other that the program

Best Value Plays for the NBA Finals
"I want to touch on the nba no guest for the nba finals discussion. And we've done that throughout the postseason. Basically i wanna touch on a couple of things that stand out to meet the honest injury. Look we all wanna fire and make bets and hopefully win money on these big events right whether it's the super bowl the nba playoffs stanley cup. You name it but sometimes there's just not an edge and i just think it's too difficult right now to lay the series price of two dollars not knowing exactly what we're going to get with honest and when we're gonna get jaanus to return all signs point to his being out tonight for game one but willie return game two or game three. How effective willie b last round. We saw trae young return. And frankly i probably would have benched him in game six in the fourth quarter. At least he just wasn't that effective wasn't the usual stellar trae young. We were used to seeing this postseason or is it like joel embiid. After missing the second half of game four in the first round then missing game. Five sixers beat the wizards he. He came back from the injury and he was just managing pain more than anything. He was still dynamic. Not quite the same. Didn't have that dunk that. He said he could do it. One of the end of the one of the games. I believe it was game four against atlanta but nonetheless it just wasn't the same embiid but it was close to so if you can tell me exactly like how big of a percent how close to one hundred percent. We're going to be honest then. I can come up with a firm play in terms of the series price. Game one for me. No real opinion. It's already baked in the line. Honest isn't gonna play it. Let's say he's out officially might go from six to six and a half if he's miraculous you're gonna play maybe goes to three from the minus six just because it won't be one hundred percents so it's really tough game one favorites in the nba finals. The last fifteen sixteen years fifteen in one straight up fourteen to two. Ats now that's just a trend but sup denote given the sons at home court. I think they're going to win the series again. Don't wanna lay the two dollars. I think we're seeing a very loose milwaukee team that finally got over the hump reach the finals. They've been playing really tight. The last few postseasons especially this year. They were really tied against the nets but did get the w. thanks to kevin durant shoe size and game seven enabling the game to go to overtime and obviously outlasted atlanta thanks to couple injuries but both teams have benefited but nonetheless. They are here. No asterix whatsoever. At all. In my opinion. I just think if the only play i'm making a cpa three to win the mvp at plus one eighty to me. He's going to get all the difference from the voters if the sun's win at all thus booker or whoever else maybe eight and but book is really the main competitor. He has to put up astronomical numbers and for the sons doing. I just think c. P. three's going to have to have a stat line right. He's going to have to have double digit assist and a few games. Put up some points. I just don't think booker's capable of just having monster monster monster games in the four winds. So i think if it's remotely close. I think it's gonna go to chris paul because the leadership and all the other narratives so plus one eighty compared to minus. Two dollars is worth it to
Amazon Prime Day 2021 Best Deals
"Biggest online sales days of the year. Amazon Prime Day happens once a year. It's a two day event. It's this Monday, June 21st consumer reports deals editor Anna Kocharyan. No. Amazon is promising more than two million deals this theater and that will be covering almost every category. You'll find that some of these offers are already available and more will come in the days leading up to the sale that's bound to be something very exciting. There's going to be a lot to shop and consumer reports will be tracking all the deals from now. Through the big event to help you find the best offers on the best product. Okay? Those will be discounted as well. And you know who knows what else what the sale will bring. And what
We Have to Be Project Managers of Elections and Conservative Principles
"Gave a speech this week at the Great Club 45. I've been talking about it all week in Palm Beach because I don't get out of my house at all. So these are really big events for me. It's like yes, I left. I went to a restaurant. So what? You don't understand? I never leave. But I gave this speech about a lot of great people. And 90% of the crowd understood that we have to fight on while still I hate the term getting to the bottom of, but let's just use it here for the sake of time getting to the bottom of what happened in 2020. Some people in the crowd about 10% didn't want to hear that. That's okay. I'm not here to lie to you. You your title to your opinion. Some people think we should focus on 2020 only and forget 2022 2024. It's not worth it until we do 2020. Your opinion. You're entitled to it. It is a free country with the big our God given right to speech. I just vigorously disagree. I know it's not efficient have to focus on two things to focus on two things strongly. And vigorously at the same time. President Trump clearly agrees. We darn well better get to the bottom of what happened in 2020. While simultaneously focusing on 2022. We can't just forfeit away 2022 because of 2020 shenanigans. I mean, how are we ever going to figure out what happened in 2020? If we continue to elect House Democrats and and and and Senate Democrats as well, you think Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are going to help us in that endeavor? Of course they won't. That's absurd. We have to focus on parallel tracks. Regardless of the inefficiency of it. I get it. The human brain wants to focus on one thing at a time. We don't have that option. We don't have that luxury. We are election project managers. Now we are project managers for liberty and freedom right now. There is a liberty and freedom movement. You all are the anointed ones. Go in Peace to love and serve. You are the project managers for liberty. And we have to multitask.

"Well, once again, this is Maryland Brahma, and I just love this part of the program where we get to interview people who are making a difference in our own community in our own backyards, and I have with me today, someone that I've known for many, many years, I have Patricia's Isler and she is the executive director of the history of Fort Lauderdale Museum. Patricia. I was so glad to have you with me. Thanks, Marilyn. It's a real pleasure to be with you as well. Well, I know you've been now the executive director there for what? Nearly seven years, seven years and actually before that, we might want to say, because I interviewed you even before that. What? What was your weight for? That It was with the Sun trolley That was a nonprofit transit agency. Really interesting work, a lot of underserved communities, and that's sort of how you and I got to know each other through our service that the homeless folks who wrote on our transportation well, that's amazing. And so you've always had that forte to be able to help people. And now that you are the executive director there in Fort Lauderdale of the museum, I know that this is just this is a perfect spot for you Tell us a little bit about that. Yeah, I'm really having fun with it. It's a great place. Well for lateral historical society, which manages history, Fort Lauderdale is a six is coming up on its 60th anniversary and 2022. We operate three museums and a full research library and downtown for Watered down in the largest concentration of historic buildings left in all of Barrack County. So we have a hiss Amane History Museum, which is gallery floors on the bottom with visual arts. Second floors are history galleries. There's four of those and then our third floor kind of unusual. We have what's called the New River Artists Coop, and it's a group of six artists, some of them specializing in crafts and arts. That would have been necessary for the 1905 New River in which is the building a house down. Then our second museum is a Pioneer House said, is if the families coming home for dinner and 19 Oh, seven. It's with Children's toys and clothes laid out on the bed. And then the third museum is the 18 99 Replica schoolhouse really important, pivotal point for Broward County, which was then Miami Dade County was the coming of the very first school teacher, and it was a sure next one incredible person who committed herself to serving particularly The endit indigenous people, the seminal people of Florida for almost her whole life. So she was she stepped away from teaching when she married the regular school. But then she continued to teach seminal Children. So there's three museums and then our research library where we do property research, historical research, you name it. We have authors in there all the time. It's kind of Fun. It's never the same thing twice, so always with an idea of highlighting the diverse communities that built South Florida. So going all the way back to the two cast of people who are indigenous people who very sickly were almost completely eliminated by European diseases than moving into the seminal people. And then from there, looking at the Spanish explorers who came remember Spanish explorer coming up the new river in 17 90. It's just It's an amazing record of the Spanish care of the land that they had for all those centuries on, then post that then there's the coming of the what we call European settlers from one of the better word and theatrical American experience in the community to which is One of the things we're working on now for a new permanent exhibit. All that is amazing. I mean, I don't even know where that was a plethora of things. I just wanted to say that I raised my Children going through Miss Simms. Okay, um, And when they were, you know, younger, you know, I would make stop and they had to read the little cards. You know what it was like, Mom? Okay, we just want no, no, you have to read and understand. And now I see them as grown people taking their Children and I see him doing the same thing you know, and I And at first I didn't like it. But then later on and later on, when they had the headphones, and you could listen to things, And so they were brought up in that that experience and I just first of all myself, I love the seminal history and I really got into that in school. And then when you say possibly on I actually lived in warm Mineral springs. Where he was supposed to be looking for the fountain of Yes. So they had this round thing that you could go through and his whole experience. So I grew up on all that. So I love this kind of stuff. I could eat it. Drink it. You know, I just love it. So I think what you're doing is very important in our society. Florida has great stories, especially our community has great stories. And I think when you do a deep dive in, you know, the first settlers along our new river were probably Bahamian. So there were Caribbean people. The new river as the first settlers other than the first nation people, and then there's you know, there's all those different stories and different opportunities to highlight the communities that are still here today and talk about what they contributed to the fabric of our development and what they continue to contribute. Make makes me want to say the fabric of our lives. Where did our ancestry come from? And you know there's good points and there's bad points. But okay, so they're in bad points. We learn how to be better and that we don't have to always take that. Okay. Something wasn't done. Right? That doesn't mean we have to continue in that realm. We just get better so and I know you're working on something right now in that area. Yes, we're working on a full permanent exhibition of the African American Pioneer Experience in Broward County. Think one of the unique things there is that the African Emir. Taken man who came to build Flagler's railroad, which was the first big event and, you know, post Seminole Wars. There were 400 African American men that settled along the new river in 18 95 on they stayed a lot of them to help build the little fledgling town. Now there were 70 people who were not black at that time and proud county and 400 African American men. But in the 1900 senses, the African Americans were not counted. So I like to tell people we were in minority Majority County from the very beginning. No way to say it. It is. It's the truth. But you know that discouraging pieces that the gentleman who built the roads and build the buildings and state and did that labor and really helped build a town. We're not even counted when it came to the time. You know for the government to acknowledge them living there. It's again. You said history is like, you know, you get the good and the bad and you've got to kind of look at the whole picture and talks a little bit about how some of our attitudes are still today. What was his name? Um, the for the gentleman that was helped build the Oh, that would be ah, lot of the African American men that came again. We don't know their names because they weren't even taken in the census. There was no record of who they were. You know that that Z That's a shame. Yeah. Yeah, And then there's some other wonderful folks. I mean, you look at a filling thought filling trips like, um, still be all Ridge facility already is an African American woman who came to Fort Lauderdale in 1904, of course, under the Jim Crow laws. With the sun down laws, she had to wear a have a badge to go across the railroad tracks after sundown. At night, she came as a young wife at 20 years old, hardworking girl. Her family was affluent from up in Gainesville so she wouldn't start. The first employment agencies. She started the first uniform company. She started the first taxi company. She started the first round. She was an entrepreneur. Yes, and and she was working primarily in the African American community. So by 1926, just like in Miami down here, the Broward County also suffered from that 26 hurricane and it started the Depression. Three years earlier. Sylvia was feeding her community from the back door of her house, You know? So she was just an amazing amazing woman and her stories. Those of the stories I love to tell you I loved you. Hear them. What is the website for the historical story History.

Long mating ritual making quite a scene climbing trees singing mating songs as loud as one hundred decibels the same intensity as a jackhammer in case you're wondering how loud that is. NFL Draft: Players Selected in the First Round
"With Aaron Rodgers wanting out of Green Bay, according to reports a night that ended with pick number 32, the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers going with AH, linebacker from Washington, Joe try on and there's a lot more to come. And there was a lot that was jammed in between those two big events. I thought it was really cool to thieve. The number of Alabama products six of them in the first round, which ties the record set by Miami. Back in 2004. I was thrilled to see Devante Smith go at number 10. Overall, The Eagles actually moved up to get in which I think is neat and they traded with E. Dallas Cowboys, their NFC East rival to grab Devante, and he's impressed me not only on the field, but off the field as well. Patrick's or Tan Hey, was sporting an incredible pink suit, though, is a lot to like about what we saw with the Alabama contingent. But also did you know it's the first time in any NFL draft that seven Players from one side of the ball were taken with the first seven picks in a row. Seven offensive players Bing Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing, Bing Bing Bing, first time that's ever happened where one side has had the first seven picks in a rose. There's a lot to

"Just have the wreck. And so i've had the golf channel on as i can bear it. They were talking about how some of the guys on tour right now like you're your bryson's aurora aren't at peak level yet in their two weeks out from the first big event. Yeah yeah i mean so. There's like all right. What know what calculations do what. What adjustments are you making. Where's the loopholes where you got to figure out and and you know people talk about peaking in. It's it's always when i talked to kids about. They're always kind of intrigued by it. Because it's like what do you mean when you pay. Well you're laying out your preparation now for that event. That's for kids. Like maybe the is your. That's yeah that's that's the term that you need to be prepared for right and so then you get you. Get your practice round done early. Go play early. You then spend the next three to four weeks hitting the shots. You know you're gonna hit at that event not hitting shots just hit at hill-wood last weekend you know what i mean. And that's where i think. The bread is always interesting. So when you're out on the road and you're trying to keep your body and your mind healthy and you're playing like four weeks in a row how are you scheduling your time so that you have. Maybe monday off or or that. You don't burn out because there's a lot of people don't realize how much gall four zero is editorial. Oh my goodness it's twenty eight days. Yeah right twenty eight straight days with you might get two days off maybe depending on depending on if you wanna take a travel day off but you're still travelling so is it really a day off me going into sarasota last week. To give a little perspective on sarasota the fairways a really wide really wide. The greens are really sloped. Greens fast in off. The greens are a bunch of bermuda. Bunch of runoff. Bermuda fairways writing. So i i do not care about what the conditions were. I made sure that i was able to hit the ball solid off the face with driver which on such line holes. That's all you need Right you don't need to hit it within a five yard gap like do it some other tournaments yell out for a lot of wiggle room but the most important thing is to catch it off the face. Another thing was. I practiced into the grain chips. A ton a ton. I practice being. Ill hit the ball saw off the face on iron shots because with sloppy fast greens. You can work. It awesome slopes more. You gotta make sure you put it in the center of the green where you can work your way to the corners. Things like fat..

What to Expect at Apple's 'Spring Loaded' Event
"Going to have an event there their spring event the call it spring loaded which you know i mean you can spend a little too much energy reading apples tea leaves. They don't tell you anything but implies that it's going to be a big event it's loaded right with stuff hard to know exactly what apple is going to announce You we get some leaks from the what they call the supply chain that the people who manufacture it mostly in china. It's hard to control those leaks for apple. Apple's pretty good at keeping its employees from telling anybody anything but You know the factory workers in china they're low paid. It's probably not too hard to get them to you. Know leak out information. So the supply chain has some information for instance We're pretty sure. The rumor mill. We not me. i don't know anything. The rumor mill is pretty. Sure there'll be a new ipad but it'll be the high anti has the ipad pro and they're kind of do a year old now. I actually love the ipad pro. It's expensive it's as expensive as a laptop computer so it's really buying a laptop once you had the keyboard and the track pad and the you know it. It's really buying a laptop with A more of a i o s like operating system so it kinda depends on what you prefer. It's a simpler operating system. If you're used to desktop computing might feel a little constricted but on the other hand. Simpler is easier to use for people like roger. It's really a or anybody who doesn't want to be a computer whiz. It's always a good choice. The ipad pro. We think we'll have a new screen technology that apple is going to be embracing across all its ipads and laptops called many led and really. It's an lcd screen. Just like they've been using but with a better backlight system little tiny. Led's across the whole back so it's got full array local dimming. The technology they talk about. Which gives you better contrast ratio. Because you really a better picture

"Question that's been asked to ask you as a broadcaster who has been to pretty much every major events in the world. And you've anchorage a loss of mainstream on terrestrial television in america but also you've covered pretty much every cheltenham festival in your career. What was it like would know crowd. Well we had had a year. I suppose of getting used to that crowd and even some pretty big events but it was right up there as very strange indeed because i think the restrictions of tightened here in the last couple of months before or they get loosened again restrictions tighter for children than perhaps they'd ever seen it at any major fixture at certain types it than they were at the breeders cup ties than it looked in in the middle east and an in australia so it was really odd him because cheltenham more than any other event is so contingent on on the crowds and provide atmosphere. It really was a an odd not experienced but by midway through the first after noon. I'd almost forgotten at one point. The crowd that i mean if you will if you're broke cussing racing. Cd audience as distinct from it audience. Perhaps you could say that. The crowd isn't as isn't as important. Because you're not going to be putting quite as much of that into the so Yeah bye-bye halfway through day one. My mind had been taken off it. But then there were moments that punctuated the week. Where you were. You reminded of quite stock again but still the the quality of this boat was outstanding when they ride the record books. They don't want to write the asterisk. That was crowd so it didn't seem to take the gloss off too much for henry bra. Gb buck and certainly an operational. Absolutely not i suppose. The top performance came day one and the champion hurdle the uni bet champion hurdle before the sponsors comes running after me with an ax honeysuckle and rachel block. More get back to back. Cheltenham festival wins another brilliant performance from henry de bromhead at cheltenham would last year's form kind of holding up sharjah. The runner up last year was second again. And the winner of last year's race epa ton with our new jockey. Aidan coleman finishing third. Nick what was your overall impression of of this year's champion your reaction as i watched was. I'm pretty sure it was is. The director came to you and said nick iran. I'm pretty sure you use went. Wow that's that kind of summed it up for all of us. I probably got a bit carried away in all honesty. But we do. Occasionally we do occasionally get a bit carried away and i. It was a completely genuine emotion. I wasn't trying to compensate dirty. Was i genuinely was blown away by so i tried to work out. Why subsequently i made some cloud landed comments that would probably verging toward hyperbole. And i think it's because of the way she finished her race off the way the the way in which she rounded the final almost on rails honeysuckle jumped the loss and then scampered up the running. And i left the impression of a performance of of of of otter total dominance on. I was staggered. By how well. She finished off the race now. Subsequent section now. The ray suggests that the reason for that was that they'd slowed the pace down. Because gordon was being a head banger. In the middle of the race they. The pace of the race had slackened significantly and really at turned into a test of speed and she was able to win like she was because as she was in grateful be. She's very very good. See she's got more than people thought she had. Indeed she was tactically. Well positioned biracial blackmore. But the the image the impression of scampering away from shahjahan episodes in a really good time the hill really good finishing split Just was just made me feel good and before you start talking about ratings and allowances where it sits in the pantheon ultime champion other. "Yeah, it Z annoying to me. I'm not rooting for him to fail. I love Kevin Durant, who had the game winning three last night against the Bucks. But I just I can't stand that He acted like a fool and then got himself out of town. And now he's giggling because he's so happy. I mean, come on. Be a little less transparent and little more professional than that. But at some point, I might have to let it go because he is in fact in Brooklyn, And this is just the way of many in professional sports. So my point is Houston, Texas. Don't make the same mistake. Watts is not gonna act like that. So don't make the same mistake. Um, we'll see. Maybe the Rockets are better off. I know, certainly with the Oklahoma City Thunder. They recognize that Russell Westbrook didn't want to be there anymore, And so they traded him away and got Chris Paul and return and it was supposed to be this rebuilding year, And yet they ended up making the playoffs, So you never know what might happen. I do think John Wallace serious about making it work. And so for him and the guys there in Houston who are left behind quote unquote. There's probably a huge weight off their shoulders. Similar toe. How Steven Silas fields as the first year head coach 855 to 1 to 4 to 27855 to 1 to 4. CBS. Always again We've been very entertained by your gifts and your means. There's one on Facebook that cracks me up from dawn. It's a photo of Tom Brady with the enormous long white beard so Moses like and it says 2032 Super Bowl M V P Dave, my go into hiding. If that's the case, he would not be able to watch football anymore. If Brady was still playing in 2032 with a beard that makes him look, I mean, it's a Ryan Fitzpatrick beard, but it's white. Right. So it's just Zeke Raysy. There are others that make me laugh. Gary posts a gift of a dumpster fire, and I don't get that I kind of feel like the NFL was the opposite of a dumpster fire this year. Um, lots of Ben Rafa's burgers. Lots of Aaron Rodgers. Lots of dudes with cash. Just kind of throwing it around all over the place. And then John Prison ski and Will Ferrell two of our favorite so Good stuff. We asked you without using words. How would you describe your feelings about the NFL season? I am Han Solo from Star Wars and producer Davis Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants. Which should tell you everything you need to know. About us. It's crazy that there are only three games left in the NFL season. But I suspected this upcoming off season is going to be a lot more like what we had in 2020. We already know now the thieves scouting combine that is normally held in Indianapolis. Actually going back to 1987. It's It's the first big event following the Super Bowl that's been next. They're gonna have local doctors do the medical exams and there are going to be no on field workouts, And indeed they're going to do all of this stuff with their own college campuses and their own athletic trainers. And so it's It's a completely different format for the combine with with most of the evaluation being done virtually Which leads me to believe this producer Dave, we will once again be in Roger Goodell's basement come April. Can't wait. I can't wait. It's gonna be fun. This time. I'm gonna have my own jar of candy and well, you could have the alcohol. Just I do not believe that man was drunk, but I think I'm the only one. Who is that sticking to that We'll talk.

"Reach through this month. But yeah i mean i i think that's. That's interesting i i i do you know i. I think the only events that i've actually gone back to reread were like house of 'em and civil war and you know before we even started talking danny in the discord called that he said civil war house of m thirty minutes done But i don't just want to talk about those events but you know house of them. I think was the first big event that i read As i was getting more and more into x. Men and going back and rereading that now. It's kind of like the only thing that's changed now as dawn of expert like you could see house events happening or excuse me. House of 'em happening like at any time in the last fifteen years before the jonathan hickman takeover of the x. Men because you know if if you replace wanda maximov. She's the token crazy character with like just any other character that could alter reality like jamie braddock or david heller You could see that happening And because the th that storyline is still there like mutants hate to appear secured a persecuted. So let's make a world where mutants are the dominant species and of course. Now we have donovan and there's a whole other thing we can talk about there but That book to me is always an interesting and always an interesting read because it it reminds you of the the pain that the mutants are constantly feeling and and how like changing that doesn't necessarily fix it It just creates more problems but i. That's that's pretty much it. I mean it's not like go back and reread this every year. But it's a book that i've reread at least two or three times. Just because i think it has a lot of interesting pieces for night. I can already hear like good people. Referencing thought pieces. That have come out in response to house them in the last decade or so. But i don't know to me it's still a solid event book Just like civil war like civil war is still a solid book because it puts every character you could possibly think of online and draws a huge line in the sand that says do you need to do you know pick aside and i think that was a really great way for marvel to sell a lot of comic books seibu cider yuan or yuan iron man's and Yeah so..

The first big event is eight fest think Ted, right? So like Ted of personal growth kind of combine with like, some Coachella. So incredible poppies in bonding in connection in music. The next one is happening in Bali in full weeks in November. I but then we have one inmate in Portugal. I can't remember the exact location, but I know what's happening in Portugal, and then this mine Val university that happens every July where literally a thousand entrepreneur type personalities moved to a city with the kids, but one month to immerse themselves in culture connection in personal growth in the the incredible classes for the children in the kids this well now, we're bringing a new event to Silicon Valley, which I think you'll love and it's called superhuman executive and it explodes. How to bring personal growth to transform your work. Because one of the big afflictions in Silicon Valley right now is over work and people who. Who just so under so much treasure that the help the cognitive ability is breaking down. I mean, you read the news of what's been happening to Elon Musk lately. And no really I was. Well, you know, he he did an expose on the New York Times. So he he didn't interview with the New York Times he spoke about how he can't get to sleep without Indian. He's hooked on sleeping pills. He's overworked. He's been tweeting. In a really awkward way that has led to the SEC suing him for his tweets. So, you know, he's he's had he's had his limit amazing guys so much respect for the man, but he's had kind of breakdown. And I and I think the world has so many people like Ilan who have incredible gifts that the world needs. But they need to take care of themselves. They need to learn the stuff that you're teaching the stuff that I learnt the painful way when I had my breakdown because these these these men these women they are building up a future, but they've not been trained to take care of themselves. I. So that one's called superhuman executive, and it's silicone valley. When is that one? It's it's it's happening in September twenty nineteen. Okay, cool. I'm very interested in that. That's extremely co as one in Portugal, the S imports. I've I've heard mazing things about Portugal, but I've never been. So that's that's one. No. I wanted to it's a different movie. Then I think it's I think it's like nine vignettes. Buster busters crags. That's what it's called something as ballot. But it's so crazy to think that the Coen brothers who are as prolific filmmakers as exist. And generally always well received movies have something that's just coming out on Netflix. Yeah. Well, you know, I don't I mean, I can we I mean, I mean can spoil it in the fact that it's not a a narrative move, you know, It's it's like like. a sketch show. Okay. Right. It's probably scraps. This isn't big enough for a movie we. Can we give you twenty five million dollars? Theaters for weekend. Oh, trying award nomination. Crazy. Okay. So it's kind of just it's not good so ten years ago, or whatever they wouldn't have released no country for old men directly to net flix if that came out now, it's not that sorta like big weighty. No, it's it's not a full movie. Okay. Yeah. But it is crazy me think about how it's really good. Like, I don't wanna get in the big names..

Listen, I mentioned the funny thing is I'm I'm actually full bring jobs by America. I'm just not sure the Cush bull manufacturing is just. Who doesn't want to work for America tip? Employs six people. Get your hands on some cool. Actually now has anyone ever made a bunker out of couse bowl could you and could you smoke coach? That's what I'm in Koos Kush. There's no solid core to the inside of a Kouchma Marcus trust doing decades where Mark dissect AKU. But they move onto the next round just everything I loathe the back humanity. And yet they're still Ueli popular thirty is later you win. Sorry about that. Guys. You gotta give a hand. I think we just saw John changed before is because he picked something he did not like any picked out. Anyway, we'll have to say if the other if the other team had. Something other than to video games if it was like Super Mario. And then like one other thing I should have gone with days of thunders days. Thunder is if nothing else that gave us Nicole Kidman and Tom ruining each other's lives for a bit form and cocaine. Amount of cocaine and Don Simpson you on missed. All right. Well, I think we should definitely go to TV next. Yeah. Mark. And then we'll that way John can fish up in his glory with movies and that works out fine. We should state the the comments and opinions of judge John crofton, not represent the comments and opinions of Jillian decades and poop culture limited. These are John's thoughts, whatever he comes out with we still we respect it. And that's how the wind comes out thoughts from the Jon I forgot what your TV toys was. But I think it was full twenty twenty. No, sir. You wanna start that alcohol? Sure. I'll start my off in excited. It is something I get to talk about that. I absolutely loved for TV. And this was took place on November twenty six nineteen eighty-seven which happened to be thanksgiving night. And this started a new tradition and as a tradition we known as the thanksgiving night tradition. This was the very first survivor series WWF, sir. Series. Oppose crying inside. I'm sure we've all seen this event if you're a fan of professional wrestling, this was major it was the first big event of the WWF had done since wrestlemainia three. And they wanted to capitalize on a few things one being the enormous success of the feud of HOGAN in Andre the giant. And also they wanted to stick a little bit of a jab at competitor WCW that was also holding its star Kate event the same night and Vince McMahon and the WWF wanted to muscle in did muscle out the cable companies to carry their event over WCW. But in the main event we saw Andre the giant pinning. Bam. Bam. Bigelow to be the lone survivor in the winner. Other matches on that included my favorite all-time survivor series match, the ten on ten tag team elimination match which featured at the time all of the great tag teams. You had the. British BULLDOGS in their demolition, the Bolsheviks the islanders the heart foundation, Dino Bravo, and Greg.

"At the right place to be one of the things will be making clear to our community at this event moving forward as we welcome the community to tell us where they think we should take this event in the future. And there's also been talking about better aiding, do we need to have one big event or what is it looked like to encourage people to organize, sort of slightly less resource intensive local or regional versions of this event. But let's just say that we were grateful that London presented itself as a compelling option and a place to have the next conversation major foam, oh, as a person who, unfortunately, due to schedule cannot attend this year. We've said this over the years to say, we, we like to Sean spotlight in the places in this community Willard's in the actual software knee deep, getting nerdy or at the macro level, looking at culture and community and how we all inter we've because in the end is people, you know, like it's good that that submit button.
