"Grade zero targets in sixteen coverage snaps so he clamped down and then he has the highest grade. Dolphins defensive players minimum twenty snaps in manual has an eighty six point one at the top of that list not to get too far into a jakpa. Jason mccourty played seventy four out of seventy five snaps back there so you know we all thought that maybe it was going to be von job right away but mccourty that veteran presence in that lineup knows speaks volumes. Brian floors once back there. And you know. Maybe he's doing some of that communicating pre snap. The giovane haunt isn't quite caught up with so I think it was interesting. The way these safeties were used and also interesting the way You know new england went out there and it seemed to attack them. I mean they know issue going after air fro the no issue going after some of those other guys. So i'm something that we have to keep an eye on moving forward because the buffalo bills are going to be a lot tougher of a task in that new england patriots offense yet Spend a little frustrating. It seems like most the news on again hollow it felt like to meet performance. You didn't really score a lot of points. those drives on turnovers. And i'm gonna keep being that home us. That victor monday barak bulls oregon with three super bowl rings. In the guy's name played three full fricking games. I mean i don't understand it. Goes back to the you know the media saying each shown more in the media where the meetings over tweeting that stuff and yelling about it. You should be re tweeted stuff about how the dolphins played incredibly well at bryant floors executed game. plan perfectly. Bad stuff you should be re tweeting. Obviously and josh work early. This was the radar date. You know this was the game. That like i said i listened to six podcast saying they barely talked about the dolphins. But the people do those podcast. They notice the dolphins winning the dolphins went against off. though everyone's gonna jump right on this bandwagon. I don't necessarily know if. I want that but i mean talk about setting the tone early in the season men looking ahead. It's going to be exciting. Normally one of the first people that loves to you know sign or a different account or even just my own and just bash some of these median. Say something ignorant. But you're right. I think i'd much rather be scooting onto the radar then having these guys. You know all fans the miami dolphins because you know it's us against the world and so far it's worked out pretty well like jake said guys we it's usually against us to. You're right civil war. I mean even right now twitter. It's victory monday. Just beat the new england patriots. And somehow you know. Twitter is up in arms and finding this that nealer thing to nitpick about and i mean it's week one. I mean you shouldn't put too much stock into it. "Been spiegel. Landed roberts adam paint. Gnc the carter up so just the best way to wrap up the show. I think is still what to expect. Moving forward we have a couple more weeks from regular season begins. We still have one more preseason game and we're under cincinnati. Three of the preseason and brian floors came out and said the guys who are on the bubble were close to being on the bubble. Those are the guys who are gonna play. Our next week just makes it sounded to me. Maybe it's as simple as the dolphins at bubble other wilson Devante parker preston williams. We heard he recently. Just got activated. Maybe a couple of these bigger guys are not going to say everyone. Because you know you'd expect isaiah ford to be outdated expect We've heard about their injuries. but in terms of their top. Guys i starting to think maybe once the preseason ends new had those two weeks before the regular season we might see that these guys are practicing bull in their bubble wrap did here we go to season or it could be all doom and gloom. And these guys are actually. I don't know but that's kind of a vibe. I get Seeing how there was no question that these guys are going to be out the last two games. I don't see him playing third. Yeah and i think you're the word to use their best bubble. I think they should bubble wrap these stars to it. Should be bubble. Wrap you know that offensive launched And some of these other guys at albert wilson's a guy who stands out to me. There's a player who had a huge summer. Everyone was raving about him. I think omar. Kelly said he's not worried about the injury so it makes you wonder if they're not just you know taking extra precaution with a wilson a fuller limb bowed and. I do think that's a little bit more severe. He almost sounds like he could end up on r to start the season which could open up a roster spot preston williams. I would've liked to see him out there but giovane holland brandon jay but giovane holland jake. That was the player that i really would have liked to see. Get out there. Because as i mentioned you know he was at him. Jaylen we wanna see more out of saw salt from wildwood nice von holland. Get pick their on a franks or was their starting at the beginning of the game. So jake i hope that it's just. I'm taking precaution. Because as we've seen throughout this training camp if injuries start to pile up that is going to be the dolphins achilles heel and you know how no shit at to say shots. That is why we make sure you get paid the big bucks for more joshes. Awesome fantastic Secondhand analysis showed a at twitter at ut z. That is actually found at twitter on twitter at twitter at j mendel ninety four josh. I think we're going to do two more shows this week as the dolphin. Prepare to wrap up the preseason if you would like to keep the with hit that subscribe button to actually getting quite a few reviews lately so wherever you. Listen your podcast. I tune spotify hit Hit that subscribe but it does help others find the show and if you have a couple of minutes leaving review Quite a bit too as an extra pep to our step josh. I mean this is about as verbal show. We do there. Were not a lot of issues that were not a lot of injuries. The dolphins seem to be in a really good spot right now open. They continue to get healthy but in all in all josh preseason week to has deemed a success it does i mean i think we kind of followed it up with a pretty damn good podcast equivalent to the way the dolphins played so hopefully guys we list to like jake said the best way to stay up today subscribe to the podcast leave us a rating. "To leap coming. That's on you and then one more from ruthie. Polinsky she put to on the deep. If a guy's open. I'm going to throw it to him so again. It's been a helluva twenty four forty eight hours you know ever since camp starting honestly to has been going out there. Let it rain but temper expectations. We wanna see it happen in those joint practices with the bears. We wanna see in preseason but again as of right now he's doing everything you possibly want or ask him josh. I mean it's the finsider. It's you specifically. You cannot go too long without complete raving about i to a and i have to say i've been pretty conservative in terms of praising in in terms of getting excited about it and what am i. Most important things to do is always ask myself. What's different. why now why is things going to be different. This time around. I mean. I asked it when adam gays made the playoffs in his first year. I asked about job in even asked about brian floors. And you know josh. I'm gonna open up a little bit. And i'm gonna say to was the fifth overall. Pick the draft. This guy was absolutely bananas in college. You know. I try to compared to a dude who played one year of quarterback in college. Josh he was a wide receiver. So you know what i think. It's finally time it is august. Fifth is thursday. I'm all in looks incredibly comfortable at practice. I'm ready to kind of buckling and suda and and really at not not fun of football uniform. That would hurt the dolphins Shit time but what i mean is what i on. November made moving forward still training camp. It's still the preseason dr no losses and because of that i am ready to go. I'm ready to jump into the two. Did you see the nfl paint put out. It was tuna tongue of low. Did you see that little clip artists. That was awesome. Jake i mean. I think we're going to joke but we're going to start using that. Let to cook hashtag. 'cause we use the last year you know and it's just funny. Because now we're here in jordan howard. I think even took a shot at chan channa source wreck so probably one of the favorite things is that chan gailey gift that keeps on giving jordan howard who was with the philadelphia eagles asked about his last year and he basically said the offensive coordinator. You didn't say any names. The offense coordinator come up to him and said he doesn't really fit the offense that kind of made me laugh quite a bit. And at the same time josh deg screeches volumes of the bank that the dolphins didn't build a play but that bill is built around how their guys operate it was the other way round of just trying to fit all these circles into a square playbook ed we saw the results in terms of the offense on every single sunday and on top of that they were still a middle road. Offense crazy crazies. you know. is this whole conspiracy theory. You know some people just always to apologize saying that the playbook was a little bit different here aero basically come out this week and say now in the last week it was just basically bubble screens and slant so here jordan. Howard say that. I mean to be honest. I wanted to. What love the pile on channel source racks and sit there and basham. But i don't know that e- even the youngest and brightest offensive football could've found a way to make jordan howard a relevant running back again. No offense to him but Jake little bit. It's been an awesome podcast. I think it's much better than that crap that we almost put out Yesterday guys all season long. We're going to continue to bring you the latest news with the miami dolphins up to the minute. We're gonna try to podcast. You know reacting to some of these things exuding howard's trade. We're going to be one of the first people. Want it but guys the best way to stay up to date is to subscribe. You know like rate the podcast when you get the chance. Follow me on twitter at haus h. O. u. t. z. But most importantly please follow jake. Mendel he's the number one coast in the world. I mean he just runs through circles. I don't like roller coasters. But i got jake going through coasters in hoops. You know twenty four seven trying to do this podcast. Please follow him on twitter at j. e. n. d. e. l. Ninety four j. Can't wait to continue miami dolphins football with you there off today. We will probably be back sometime later this week. We are going to drop the madden twenty two a player rating team overall article. We're gonna drop that podcast. You know within the next day or two. So keep an eye on that. But jake big things ahead for the miami dolphins. You gotta love josh. My birthday's august fifteenth. But it's going to be a sweet post They present when the bears at dolphins played against the is. Josh is a blast talking to you. I'd say we wrap it up there. Thank you for joining us in most importantly above all else vince zones up that was fit radio part.

"Day. Five of miami. Dolphins training camp has officially ended. And there's a ton of news to dive into lots to talk about regarding your miami dolphins but before we get into all that. Let me welcome you into finsider radio. The jake and josh. Oh i am josh. How's that must mean. I'm joined by the one. The only jake mendel. You can follow on twitter at j. m. e. andy l. ninety four before again everything to talk about with the miami dolphins training camp. Jake it's been a few days since we got together. I do today man. I've loved that you said state number five. It really feels like we're in the trenches in a very dramatic took away but josh been great every day. We have different things to talk about. And i have to. I have to do what you did. And plug the twitter Ut z. There josh you can find all these very fancy instagram videos and twitter Videos of the miami dolphins have taken josh's thrown together. All of to us throws a. How do i tell you that. I don't really care for training camp stats but i will definitely say that. Seeing these highlights has gotten pretty jammed up so far in training camp yemen. We all definitely got excited when we saw some of those throws deep balls to our wilson but like you said this is training camp. I don't think pads komo until tomorrow so temper expectations. But you know what we're hearing about to a ton of a low now. Compared to last year. I mean it gives you reason you know hair standing. Open your arms with excitement. Yeah exactly so before we get into before we get the wide receivers. He kinda hit the nail on the head. The pads officially come on tomorrow tomorrow being tuesday so everything that we said. This far is all fighting dandy but the game really hasn't even begun yet. I mean once you alaska anyone. It's a whole different ballgame So it's important to keep in mind that everything that you see is definitely the greatest salt someone like albert Waddell is going to be a little more explosive when nobody's wearing pants down. So i mean i'm not saying to make a huge difference but something to keep in mind speaking of things. We are very uncertain about josh eight. Sapien howard always article from him but he basically said that he wants to make things work in miami before anything else. And i've been trying to think of the right way to compare this. But i really feel like we're asking our parents for like a raisin allowance It's just like keep please please. Can we keep exonerating howard. Leese that Situation is what we're getting into With the dolphins went howard. Because i don't see a light at the tunnel. Beat the dolphins aren't budging. I been howard's back to practicing after being out for a couple of days ankle..

"Stats there it has stats the way they lined up and he was really great in the spot and could do a lot of different. The josh before we start ramping up here. The dolphins did sign two other players. As of what was it. I think it was sunday or monday. They announced These guys across dolphins signed to defensive playmakers last week one was cra von leblanc former. Cornerback for the philadelphia. Eagles played well in the slot. They use a name that you know always popped up. When i was watching eagles games for good and bad but you know the bringing him in here what that means again towards the whole signing we don't know and then they brought in griffin and we all know the story about team griffin the how hard he's worked to get to where he is. I love the signing. I think both these guys can you know go out. There be a role special teams but also fill that need in depth. You know whether it be linebacker which came griffin whether he's blitzing or the blank again in a slot i mean he brings another brings more competition that spot in which you know. We don't know who's going to take it over. Is it going to be eggnog. Each job is going to be nickname. Is coleman gonna take that. Sny got leblanc in there. It's a good problem to have and again. If there's anyone that can get the best of these players you have to believe. It's brian floors in this defensive. Coaching staff. I'm just concerned. I didn't get to jazz of about these because it is so close to train can't beginning. I have to wonder if this is the vision. incident may be signing a couple more Undrafted free agents who bring guides who are obviously hard workers. Have a history of you know being dogs. I sense you know. Pg tucker was young. A lot about dogs after the bucks won the nba title. But just maybe for these younger guys. Linebacker corey believe they already have thirteen. Linebackers thirteen quarterbacks on this roster. There's a lot of the depth going around here. I don't know if. I really see a vision for these guys to make the roster but what. I do see a vision. Previews guys to release show up in those preseason games show up during practice and maybe fight for roster spot somewhere else and really showed the younger guys on the bombay dolphins. We know how young team is especially with. All the draft picks. Heavily thank can. It's that veteran work ethic that hopefully might be instilled on some of these guys and keep the moving in the right direction. You wonder how much of this you know they needed to. I think they could go into camp at ninety players. Correct or something like that. So i mean they. They wanted to get to ninety and they saw an opportunity to bring in. You know it's almost like you're playing that. And they had interest in. Melvin ingram you. They had interest some of these other guys. Well now they still roster room to bring these guys and go out there and get the best available free just kind of quote unquote. I mean cra. Von leblanc i mean. He's a guy who again he has. Experience starting Name it don't matter and then scheme griffin i mean again i'm ecstatic just to see what he can do in another chance with miami and with this coaching staff. Because you know again brian. Flora's start as linebackers coach. So that to me is it. But you're right. They might be nothing more than camp bodies than they might be. Nothing more than a veteran presence to again help. Elevate some of that. Other talents so It's going to be a battle here in these next few weeks. Jake i mean we have ninety guys here. We mentioned fourteen receivers. Thirteen db start. You know you can go down the list. They have lots of guys lots of very good players and you hope that somehow someway this finds itself out in the dolphins are competing for the playoffs. You know compete for the postseason like we all hope. You're jumping right into the p. Were the chew. yeah. This is dan beer. I'm tired of dude sick and tired of sick and tired of being sick and tired fair. It is let it a lot josh. It's right it's the season's coming back. It's time to let those feelings go. Let those emotions on august seventeenth for the team can cut down to eighty five players. They can they should they. Will i twenty on august. Twenty four august thirty first. They can cut down to fifty three players again. I say can they will So it's gonna come pretty fast and a couple of different waves of the first practice opened the fans. Is this saturday. At the first practice in paths will be this tuesday josh. We've said it. Before on the show but i mean this is hard you know. We're the a very exciting time of the season especially since the creation of twitter especially in the crash of this twenty four hour news cycle. It makes these practices a lot. "There with them and then you could look at jalen folks literally any other pass in this draft. He's going to be compared to being the first one off the board op. So i do like these picks the mostly because they weren't needed right they weren't the dolphins weren't desperately needed defensive and yes it wasn't one of the strongest areas but it was something they have gotten by with what they have. So i see these guys coming in in positions that they could really learn grow and not be forced into action like charles harris and not saying the whole other end of the spectrum like the android was playing twelve snaps game game his rookie year shadow. Joe philbin for that logic But i do see someone who can really get comfortable really quickly. Based on the talent. The dolphins have around him. Like i said the guy drone baker and vince beagle who might be behind atrovent ginko of might be behind that defensive of second unit. Who can really help. Stop the run winfield's by make a mess or something like that. Make those rookie errors. I think that's going to do a lot for this team in the competence for these guys at i think best case today or josh. You mentioned that he really turned it on and spinal season in miami. I guess i should say final season in college with miami. That probably would fill would have to do to be strong his rookie year right. I think it probably. I don't see any way. He can start out really fast. But i could see him being someone who by the end of the year. He is so comfortable and the dolphins have an uptown around where he really belongs on that. You know starting eleven defense went back. Actually pull up the article which we can link and whichever article in put now. But i put as a conclusion. I don't know jalen phillips will start on day one after all ryan floors is a firm believer in competition and some of the veterans could hold the inside track but then again the best plan is to play the leading best guys. It's hard to imagine. They're very few on the defensive line. As talented jalen phillips. I then went on to say as the best pass rusher in the country. And the sky's limit so jake debris it all full circle. Man i don't know about you but jalen philipson when he's going to do to that defense it's going to be as impactful as hell and it's going to be on the same level against jason taylor and can't wait ragavan. He's already up there. If you actually back in my make it in before zach thomas he might actually make it in the whole in before that. That's awful. That's awful guys papa. Thank you so much for joining us. This book club. If you have time to go watch some video and killing phillips. I suggest doing it because there are some really good stories out there about this guy's journey from you know that little kid who was a monster playing football at seven years old to the guy who was drafted by the miami dolphins so i highly suggest checking that out. We're going to have stories up on the insider surrounding this podcast. Be sure to check out. Insider dot com. The podcast will be linked on there. "But josh there is obviously a a little bit of room for improvement especially when you look at that bills game and how everything kind of Fell apart the one interesting. No i have about the second air here when you look at the oldest guys being byron jones and eric rowe at twenty eight before bring according to his twenty three. There's a really unique gap in terms of the miami. Dolphins secondary You have someone like Exhibit howard is twenty seven and the next closest guy to in howard. If we're talking about younger players is brandon jones at twenty three. There's nobody from. Twenty six to twenty eight in the dolphins secondary. And and i think the where do you see every kind of fitting in i. Do you see any been of concern that. There's a little bit of a gap between the older guys who know what they're doing. These rookies for trip. Still trying to figure out the issue. I had last year. I mean he was behind to absolute stuns at cornerback and he wasn't going to get any chance on the field unless one of them got her. He saw that plane time to vote. He got some plays at benico. Cornerback but i mean for us to sit here and justify eggnog. Knee is a first round. Pick and you know some people strings enough have already calling a bus but for a first round pick trajectory. I mean first year second year. You see that massive jump. Does he make a push for boundary spot. Is he making a push with coleman With like nick needham. Four that cornerbacks job. Yeah and i think. That's what brian floors jailed. Alexandra been touched on wednesday. He was working more inside. You know now they learned the preliminary starting to some of that stuff on inside at nickel. You know run support and things like that so You know. I hope to see eggnog. Any kind of take that next step and try to forge his role at nickel corner. Because that would be awesome to see. And then even have that versatility to play on the perimeter But jake tear to your point you know. Do i believe there's a huge drop off between exciting howard and byron jones. Those young guys absolutely and we saw front and center in that buffalo game early on we saw you know stefan continue talking about that cross or you know we see how the defense looks when those guys are out of the lineup. And it's just not a good feeling and it makes you wonder why fans would even want to entertain an idea to train exhibit howard when you think about it you know. Then you're throwing no egg menagian there then you don't have anyone else. You don't have security blanket. So i definitely think there's concern there but i also think it goes back to what the coach said you know. Last year even byron jones took some time to get this system down. He's in there taking notes. He's trying to get better. I think those younger guys are seeing that. And i think you know. Maybe it's a good thing that got those two elite corners and i say elite because up until last year byron jones name was up there maybe obvious the consistency but he was when he was good. He was good. He was aiming howard again. I don't think would at ten receptions if it wasn't for him but you know maybe it's just me i'm giddy thinking about it because i think we just tapped into something here. You know the dolphins at two of the best corners in the nfl. And i think that they can sit here and take some these younger guys under their wing and get the best out of them. I mean that's pretty cool to see. So i don't know what's gonna ultimately happened here but i think you know. Exerting howard byron jones and then if you can get no eggnog in there that to me is one hell of a starting three and then you know you just figure out the rest of that and again. I'm not. i'm not too sure. The dolphins don't think they can plug and play at all these different positions because we've seen it in the past Bobby mccain the one guy who is returning in the secondary. He played ninety eight percent or more of snaps in nine games for the miami dolphins defense last year Over fifty percent every game. He played hundred percent of snaps and six straight games. I mean the dude was was the definition of a workhorse for the miami dolphins and then you have someone like brennan jones up. I've been one to kinda talk. Highly of him this year. about his growth. I thought he had a pretty solid rookie season. But but i saw an interesting trend where he started a he played in fifty percent of snaps in five or more games but he really dropped off near the end of the season. Twenty five percent week sixteen And twenty percent in week seventeen there were just other safeties. Getting more steps than him But when you look at this group. Josh i remember thinking pre-draft what would it be crazy. Pick for the miami dolphins to take early because you know the projections we we create. They're not always going to be one hundred percent. Things are going to have to be expected. I thought safety would be one of those picks. So i guess this whole kind of exercise here has been me working up to the question you know. Spend a third round pick on british jones. Who again was decent simple. We saw him kind of Moose's role a bit near the end of the year. I don't know if that's just kind of Based on the different personnel on the opposing side line. Or what but you have him as a third round pick of ink monogamy as the first round pick and you have holland. Here's early second round pick. I mean there's with that much capital spent in the secondary. This team has to really push the guys again. Like i said. I don't think byron jones and sabin howard are going to boozer starting jobs. I looked to see them. Start sixteen games but in order for these high top tier picks to really justify their value. I mean these guys have to be on the field. And i don't know if i necessarily see defense where all these guys are really being. Impact players with with air grow and exhibiting howard in byron jones being at a different level than than this group. A younger guys. Yeah that's a good point. I mean you can sure code all you want but let's go to what your timelines cetera with a little rundown says and you straight up you and for we're talking about this before the draft. He mentioned safety. You mentioned tight end. So you know both you because those were positions at the dolphin fan base and you know many outsiders thought were pretty much set but jake goes back to the nfl and as cliche as it sounds. It's just moving to that. Pass i league know you say here. You've got byron jones with the big contract you got examine. How are the big contract at some point. You're going to have to get rid of one of those guys and you're going to have to try to pay some your own so i don't know that we're going to have the luxury of having these two elite corners like we do right now but i'm interested to see the way it all shapes up because again if no aid monogamy can even become half the corner that the dolphins thought he was when they drafted him. You know they'll be in pretty damn good shape and it won't be so bad lose guys like a mccain or one of those other guys enter ramp up this conversation here about the secondary i wrote a story on this for the finsider and it actually some pretty good numbers. So if you'd like you get some reading whether you have a a couple of free minutes or otherwise. Go check that out. I'm not trying to say this is like a bad thing at any ways a. I'm just thinking a year or two down the road. We have to kind of decide where these good draft picks are not. i mean. The dolphins secondary is going to have to look a lot different for us to really be happy with all these picks and think. The dolphins really made the right decisions moving forward again. I'm not doubting it. But i just think it's a really interesting transition. Obviously teams changing evolve every year and the miami dolphins secondary despite bringing back know for the five quote unquote. Starters is going to be no different than that. I'll let you have been to a quick break here. And i'm other side we're gonna talk about the biggest biggest Question of the week. I really have are we myles. Gaskin guys now is a mouse gaskin. Podcast will jump into that right after this break. Substitute support for this episode comes from locker room the app. That's changing the way we talk. Sports locker room sports fans dream. "All right giants fans joining us now is just in higher staff writer writer for Sp.. Nations Miami Dolphins website. The finsider and I'm bringing Justin into talk about the giants hiring of of Patrick Graham as defensive coordinator. Justin how you doing today. I'm good thanks for having. Hey thanks for for taking a few minutes and and talking about About Patrick Graham so this is really interesting to me. This looks like a lateral move for Patrick. Graham going from but Brian flurries staff in Miami to Joe Judges newly created staff with the giants. Is this a move. Move that Do You well let me let me ask you this. You any idea why you Graham would want to to get out out of Miami or why the dolphins would actually be okay with this yes. It's definitely something that that fans and media personalities with around the dolphins have talked about quite a bit over the past twenty four hours come up with a couple of things first off. Grandma's originally from the northeast coach in in New England for quite a bit. That's how he knows. Both Joe Judge and Brian Flora's So it could be wanting to move closer to home. Base people have talked about a potential promotion. He called all defensive plays for the dolphins last year so it wouldn't be necessarily because of that. Maybe his getting an assistant head coach title. Maybe it's a pay raise. Those are definitely both both possibilities abilities. as to why the dolphins would allow the move also a couple reasons their first off. Is that Flora's Graham. They shared an office together in new New England for a number of years especially when gram grams retired there. So they're they're close friends. And if this was a move that Graham wanted to make family or purposes is like that obviously you know I don't know them personally but it seems like they have a close enough relationship for Florez would have that kind of conversation with him And then beyond that. The dolphins as as soon as Graham left immediately hired Their Secondary Coach to defensive coordinator position. So it seems they had that that replacement already set Someone they wanted to keep it in the organization someone they wanted to reward so maybe they felt had the continuity there. They had the Someone they felt was an adequate replacement. Uh-huh so let me ask you this. Obviously you look at the statistics from the Miami Defense I think thirtieth in points allowed. How thirty second in yards last in the league obviously not impressive but so it sort of you know there are giants orients fans going you know? Why would we hire this guy considering? How bad Miami's defense was can you? Can you give us an idea why I teams would y Graham would be a sought after kind of kind of coordinator. Yeah I think when evaluating the Dolphins coaching staff obviously. You can't absolve them of all blame but this dolphins roster as as everyone around the NFL series for time and time again was a very in depleted roster with regards to talent There were practice squad guys coming up. Were undrafted free agents. That is being picked up off the virtually off the street halfway through the season even to to play all over the team especially on defense. You saw that in the secondary Quite a bit and so I don't think you can necessarily take the staff and say. Hey Patrick Graham does not have to coach the defense because this dolphin team can stop anyone First of all it did get throughout the year which I think speaks to his adaptability as a coach coach and the fact that he took this team again very depleted roster in terms of talent and manage to to create something of a of a defense there And you know like I mentioned before he has this relationship with with Joe Judge. They coach together New England so he obviously knows Graham quite well. I'm sure part of it is judged wanting to to have someone he's comfortable with and I'm sure part of it Is that he sees grandma. Someone who is rising up through the coaching ranks in able to take that that step in and become Some of the fake accounts lead the defense has judge if I'm not mistaken is special teams coordinator so bringing grandma Bremond means he believes that Graham is going to be able to really own that defense and take care of that side of the ball. I also wondered you know in terms of reasons why why Patrick Graham would take this job. If the fact that you Brian flurries although those guys and Graham are friendly and in all of that Brian flurries is a defensive coach so I also wondered if perhaps with Joe Judge not having really coached on the defensive inside of the ball maybe if Graham would have more freedom to do precisely what he wants to do with the giants rather than with the dolphins. Yeah absolutely I think that. In fact I'd be very surprised if flora's fingerprints burn all over the defense having been from the defenses themselves. I'm I'm sure that's part of it. you know. He said he did call grams. They'd call plays for the dolphins but It probably will be much more his defense and it's GonNa going to be. You know him bringing putting his own stamp on defense I don't know necessarily if that's that's the key reason as to why he chose to make that move but I'm sure I'm sure that's as part of it You know I would. I would definitely imagine that a coach is much more likely to be hired a navy as a head coach in the future. If he's really crafted his own defense on the floor as you know was hired by the dolphins after Belichick is really the one crafts the Patriots defense but I definitely think that's that's probably part of it And I you know that that that being said I think this is a great great segue into the fact that Florez an Graham very much rent. A similar defense is what they ran. A New England I don't know if that's GONNA follow through but if it does You know you can definitely expect a very hybrid Very multifaceted defense. Coming out of out of New York players are asked to do a bunch of different things and where the scheme is different week to week. That's what I was going to ask you next next. It is it. Is it really going to be. And I'm not sure it matters that much any more to be honest with you is it. Is it three four. Based is it four three based I mean does he lean more toward manners zone or or is it just like you said a week to week. Let's let's do what we have to do kind of thing. I think that that's the ladder. What you said is definitely grams mentality? He was asked by reporters a couple of times before the season started what they run Change and his answer was buried. He sort of style answer that he said we're GONNA do whatever we have to do to win in terms of four three three four. You know if you watch a lot of the dolphins games this year that definitely changes not only week to week but even played a play They depending on on the blitz. They WANNA run depending on the coverage they run. You see guys coming up the line and dropping back pretty frequently So in terms of three four four three I don't I think you'll get a solid answer from him unless he decides to to change that going into this year with a new team may be Joe. Judge wants to run something specific But other than that I would sit. You'll oh definitely see it go back and forth between three or four and four three men zone that also changed quite a bit throughout the year Back and forth depending on who you know what team near playing kind of receivers they had whether you know sometimes they had we had saving Howard shadow a particular receiver but then You know not everyone else necessarily early had a an assigned man So that that I can also see going back and forth And the also Patrick. Graham placed a huge emphasis. This and you saw this. This is one of the reasons. The dolphins at the trade minkah Fitzpatrick on on moving everyone around position wise. And it's Patrick wasn't necessarily fan of that. which is part of the reason he was traded to the steelers? So you the giants have a guy like real peppers So He's back team next year. You can definitely expect someone versatile like that playing a bunch of different roles. I was actually going to ask you about the Minka Fitz Patrick situation because I see in the comments big blue view and on twitter. I you know I. I see comments from people saying well. He couldn't figure out how to use minkah Fitzpatrick and so so. How good of a coordinator can he be in the impression that I had is? That isn't necessarily the case the impression that I had his minkah Fitzpatrick wanted to play one position. Not to mention attention that I really think Minka Fitzpatrick simply looked at the rebuilding dolphins. And how it. It's probably going to be a while until that team is where it wants to be and sort of say this is just a place. I don't WanNa be so I mean was there. was there really how. How did you see the Fitzpatrick Graham sort of dynamic and it's a great question and I think it's very requires you know a looking got it from a bunch of different lenses? I don't think it's fair to absolve gram of all responsibility there. I mean if it's Patrick was not necessarily a massive acid difference maker over the first couple of games this year with Miami and he. was you know a superstar with the steelers. I don't necessarily think that's just you know he had Patrick Graham before and then he didn't have Patrick Grandma. And that was the reason I do think that part of it was definitely that. That's Patrick. Wanted to play one position. He wanted to get really good at one position anymore. To be a start one physician I think that part of that is because he felt would be most productive that way sternly how payer players get get paid the most when the start one position And that's not how the dolphins run things they don't necessarily say okay. This one player wants to do this one thing. So we'RE GONNA shifting tired defense around and I think that they're the grandma's fair to say that. Because you know we saw with Eric Rowe who was a former Patriots cornerback and then came came over with with the dolphins this year was not playing. Well at cornerback. Graham shifted him over to safety also had him. Blanket tight ends. Most of the time. When the dolphins I'm just going up against formidable tight ends and row turned into much more than serviceable into a pretty standout player that position so I definitely don't fault vault Graham for having that stance? I think it's both important to fit the player through the scheme and the schemes who the player depending on the situation And I think the last thing you said was also right in that. It's Patrick saw this defense team. And maybe just didn't feel like he was the right fit to be there anymore whether was because the rebuilding because he didn't like the solid defense Like I said I certainly wouldn't blame all of that. Leaving most of that on on Graham I think the way he does that That style of shifting run the players to see where they fit best and see the defense best usually ends up working better for the player..

"The biggest news for your New York giants is that reports are that giants will hire Patrick Graham Defensive Coordinator for the Miami Dolphins for that same job with the giants little bit later we will talk to just in higher of SP nations. The finsider are Miami. Dolphins website with his impressions wins his thoughts of Graham in what the giants are getting in a defensive coordinator. And before we do that I wanted to talk a little bit about About my thoughts on this this decision. myself listen. I understand that people are looking at the fact that this guy coached or was defensive coordinator for the first time a year ago and that the Miami Dolphins Defense was by most statistical ranks by most of the numbers is that you'll find was the worst defense in the NFL. I get that but listen. I think that you kind of have to throw that out the window when it comes to Patrick. Graham Graham Look at the situation that the dolphins were in first year head coach completely blowing up their roster and rebuilding situation where they had a very very very young very poor roster in two thousand and nineteen situation where they simply couldn't have been expected to be a really good team. I mean a couple of the guys who played a fair amount of snaps for the dolphins in two thousand and nineteen were former giant avery. Moss informer giant defensive. Tackle John Jenkins since two guys who couldn't make the giants roster and ended up being guys who played a fair amount of snaps in Miami. That's just an example of the fact that that Graham wasn't working with much in Miami you couldn't really expect him to To turn that into a functional donal average or better than average defense in one season when he simply had nothing to work with. I know that people look at if that resume and they say oh God you know how. How can he be the guy? How can he be the defensive coordinator in? I'm reminded of the last a couple of defensive coordinators that giants had when the giants hired James Becher. Everyone was excited and they were excited because as of the resume because of the fact that I think in three of his four years as Arizona coordinator maybe it was all three years. Becher had coached. Defenses that we're in the top ten in most statistical categories while he was in Arizona. Well what we found out was really that it was about the players. That James Bet your had in Arizona. He had Chandler Jones in Arizona. He had Patrick Peterson in Arizona. He had callejas Campbell in Arizona. He had dominant players across the board. He Got Marcus Golden. who had a good year for the giants in two thousand Nineteen Marcus golden before his knee injury so he had in Arizona tremendous players Dion Buchanan? Who again came to the giants you you know? As a free agent in the middle of two thousand in nineteen he had the owned Buchanan. When Dion Buchanan was younger and Wendy owned Buchanan was at his best? I own Buchannan did okay for the giants in some areas in two thousand and nineteen in a few games that he played for New York but he's not the same player that he was so what we found out with James Becher over the two years that he was pat. Shurmur defensive coordinator is really that it wasn't about bechers scheme. It wasn't about Becher being some sort of extraordinary teacher or some sort out of extraordinary defensive coach with with some sort of Of of reinvent the wheel kind of scheme it was about the players players that played for James Becher more than anything about becher himself. And when I think about that I think about former giants defensive coordinator in current in Kansas City chiefs coordinator Steve Spagnolo Spagnolo. The second time that he was hired by the giants was brought in you know in. I believe it was Tom. Coughlin's last year as head coach of the giants. He was brought in the hopes that that he could bring back some of the success that he had in his first tour with the giants and Spagnolo said I remember sitting in a press conference with with spags early in the spring. Might have been the first time that we get a chance to talk to him and he said look he said. I'm not a miracle worker. He said coaches are not miracle workers. We can only work with the players that we have and do the best that we can you know his point was. It's about the talent it's about the players you can't make players. You're more talented than they are. You can work with them you can. You can put in your schemes you can put Indian your blitz packages. You can put in your different your different things but if players can't execute them if they don't have the talent to to make the plays then there's nothing that you as a coach can do. You can try to put him in position but if they don't have the ability to get into position if they don't have the ability to make the play if they don't have the ability to do what you're asking them to do then you know then then you're gonNA look bad as a coach because if you don't have talent no matter what you do as a coach. It's not going to work. There are certain things that you can do due at times to maybe get by but on a week to week game to game basis owed played a play over a full season. If you don't have really really good players you're going to get exposed as defense as an offense no matter what it is. Is it so think about what Patrick Graham was working with in Miami. He wasn't working with a whole lot. He didn't have any dominant players on that defensive side of the ball so I'm inclined to look at it and and just throw the statistics out the window. Oh I'm looking at it and thinking Joe Judge once guys he says he wants. Teachers not presenters. Am I a little bit concerned about about the idea that that the dolphins with Brian Floor as a guy who also came out of Miami like Joe Judge you know. I'm a little concerned that the dolphins were willing to to let Graham make this lateral move. Sure but judge and Graham. Graham have a relationship built on a few years working together in New England. So I'm going to at this point simply trust the the Joe Judge knows what kind of coach Patrick Graham is. Graham did a good job in his two years with the giants on the defensive line seemed to in the few times I got to talk to him. Seem to know his stuff seemed to have a good relationship with players. Seem to have a good idea what he wanted to do with them. What he wanted to get out of them obviously coaching a position? It's a little bit more difficult to judge exactly what you know what a coach does because we don't get to see work on a day to day basis. We don't get to be the meetings. We don't get to see how they're teaching players. You know what they're teaching players we. We just see the end result on Sunday. And sometimes we don't know if that's simply a result of players not being good enough or you know or of them. I'm simply not being taught correctly. So it's it's really difficult at times to judge the work of a position coach but I'm inclined to to look at this higher by like Graham or higher of Graham and say yes it it sounds like a risk but just because there isn't a long long deep resume of success in just because his one year as a coordinator statistically doesn't look good. I'm not not going to to look down on this higher or trash this higher. I'm going to be optimistic. That Joe Judge knows what kind of head coach or what. What kind of coordinator Patrick Graham can be in it? Graham will bring the kind of defensive philosophy the kind of teaching philosophy V that judge wants to install with the giants. You know in the other thing. Let's talk a little bit about the other. Two coaches that the the giants have reportedly decided to retain from Pat Shurmur staff. We saw reports in recent days that judge will retain wide receivers cevers coach Tyke Tolbert and special teams coordinator Thomas mcgahey and now. If you ask me I think those are absolutely excellent joint decisions by judge. I think that those two gentlemen quite possibly where the best coaches on Pat Shurmur staff Thomas. McGee he is a really good special teams coach. He's a veteran. Special teams. Coach didn't excellent job in Carolina. has done an excellent job with the giants over two seasons seems like a real stand-up guy. Seems like a guy that that knows how to reach players players that does a good job adapting to situations to be really honest with you looking at the path of Joe Judge as special teams mm scored Nadir Looking at the you look at John Harbaugh special teams coordinator who became a head coach. It would not surprise me if somewhere. We're down the line. Thomas mcgahey begins to get some interest from teams for head coach interviews. The other guy who the giants it's decided to keep was wide. Receivers coach Tyke Tolbert now. He's a popular guy. He's an energetic guy. He's a guy who players love to work with guy who's done this job as wide receivers coach successfully for a number of organizations for the past fifteen in sixteen years. Something like that another really good decision by judge to keep Tyke Tolbert. I thought in a begin to build his coaching staff. Obviously you know. We're really curious at this point what judge is going to do who for an offensive coordinator what he's going to do for an offensive line coach. Those are two really critical. Hires coming up. Hopefully we'll get some more information on on knows as the week progresses giants fans right. Now let's take a quick break for a word from our sponsors. "Sorry did I put more effort into my food and the dolphins put into their game against the Ravens greetings everyone welcome to the blowhole blowhole on finsider radio today. It is myself James Radio with my co host Rob Thomas Primary. You still robbed him as prime after that. I I am I okay that was by far the worst I mean. Even sixty sixty two seven the jags game marinas last last stand. This was just as bad all right so I mean this was. It was less important. I guess if you need to know the rob dimissed mantra. Don't overreact week Iraq yeah. I know all of that. I know all of that but this was like like you know sitting through the game was got off. It was like a college football game. It was like Miami University of Miami versus like Savannah State or something like that. The eighties it was like playing madden against the teenager was just there was nothing like it was like they had different set of rules. I stay. They're allowed to do whatever they want and you're not allowed to do. Oh anything so pluses. We are really good at tanking like. I don't think anybody's ever been this good at tanking. I'm still I'm still pretending being like tanking. Do you think maybe they can trade somebody like before Sunday's and then like and then maybe bring in a bunch of new guys like on on Saturday well. That's I mean this. Can we do that again this week. I'm asking this was pre season one. This was like preseason week. One team has not even like Fitzpatrick was introducing himself to linemen like in the huddle like Ohio Ryan meet you. Let's go play a football game. The sad the left side the offensive line was pretty good though Davis and dealer and then Kilgore actually at bay all created out okay. It was the right side. That was terrible. I was Dora and then was it web that started at right tackle. It wasn't even the guy that it wasn't even Davenport. The guy that got for Tonsil Davenport did play. I think he might have rotated in but I think I think web started. I don't know it it was by the time I started watching the game. It was and I got there quick like I had I had to drop the kids off and I gotta say the Bar and it was already over he was they were just about to score the third touchdown. It was yeah it was twenty one so as I sat down if we're looking for our net was literally only like ten minutes report looking for silver linings. This offensive line is way worse than last year's terrible offensive line and yet they still like fit still managed just like move around and find people downfield not just terrible screens that were like yeah and I. I've said this before and I'll say it again. Fitzpatrick is a better quarterback than than Tanna better pocket presence also offensively the game. I mean I know you only score ten and we were never in it and that was but I didn't didn't hate the way the offense looked for for a week one like we are no running game like I mean but the game was they didn't have sustained in Baltimore like I'm I'm. I'm not saying that was good by any stretch is I'm just saying I thought this would be the I thought the offense would be as bad as the defense was in and the defense was I thought the defense is going to get where we were both on record as saying we thought the defense was actually. GonNa play pretty. Well Yeah and really we wrong. Yeah I mean I guess I'm prime is under miss or underestimated how bad the their frontlines is going to be because they changed. They changed is that completely to four before going into this game the will as I have to acknowledge as Iraq the lion they had in the in the preseason was completely different than the line. They went the outside of Charles Harris who looked any nobody can on defense but I did see him flash a few times here. I didn't see this. This is what I'll have to say because as as the optimist went on I went on record last week saying. I don't think we're we'RE NOT GONNA. We're not losing on purpose where you know where you're trading away veterans making you worse now to get better but looking at how they played all of a sudden. I'm like would nate is NATO like cutting need orchard and and and and tank kerosene kerosene. I mean that wasn't really a big salary. Guys weren't making a lot of money and it's not got anything back like you would think those that felt like a cut just to get worse that felt those felt like tank moves now. After watching I own under yeah I didn't under- because those whoever however was in there like was useless like they had they got absolutely no pressure and I'm not saying those two guys are game changers but but like I know so so that they were consistently getting penetration and pressure in preseason I notice the preseason but still I mean and it's quite possible in practice actress and all the things they didn't rate as well as the guy that he kept and maybe maybe it was a pure football movement but I understand the people the tank people seeing Matt and saying that I get it that that looks like that. There was no reason to cut them. There was no there was it was not getting a hall a picks like tonsil which is defendable in rebuilt situation as bad as it makes you this year. It wasn't a cutting for salary. It wasn't a dumping allows so for salary or or if someone and gave us something for Jones to get rid of the salary the no there was nothing gained from losing those stills make no difference in this game like deck like they don't they have they would've made no difference in that game. Well you know what I'm going to say. Tunsil made a very big difference in helping us get a better pick from the Texans. No no no I understand like a guy been there for like four days. He actually played well but gate but then gave up some some critical sacks and then a huge ten when they needed when they didn't well one anyway so the scheme we were talking about this right before. Are we started. This scheme was to stack the box to stop the running game correct. It was it was the scheme that the chargers successfully in the playoffs playoffs correct and we were unable to stop the run and unable to pass and again no changes were made even even when yeah so we were killed by the rookie wide receiver who Burns Fitzpatrick. It seemed like whoever it seemed like Patrick was Minkah. Fitzpatrick was the one getting burned repeatedly. I saw a row and Jomo Wiltz. I mean everybody got it got except for I didn't even but they didn't have to throw yeah yeah. I think I think one target Baker Akhavan made a few splash plays obviously nowhere near enough and then the Harris I i. I don't think they sacked Lamar Jackson. Oh I do not think so but I saw him at least get some pressure. I think they saw him. I don't even I don't even think they could they could say for sure. It was 'em because they were so far away from from where he was. Oh man and woman and Yeah so if it's Patrick was historically bad in this game I targeted six times gave up six receptions three three of them for touchdowns well over one hundred yards receiving against him specifically and the tight end again. This team still doesn't not not know how to cover tight. Ends doesn't not know what does not know. How did I say doesn't not no. I don't know what you said. Whatever team still does not know how to cover tight ends that were just it doesn't matter that the coordinator of the scheme the personnel we're just we can't ever recover tight ends we cannot. I don't know what that I don't know what that is. I've never seen I watch a lot of football. I watch a lot of other games. I I've never seen anything like it and it's been going on. It's been about ten years now well you'd need certain certain. Unidas especially in today's NFL when you have these kind of giant but wide receiver tight end tight end but like this team is every single week every single Sunday. The tight end has a huge game against us so I don't know those whatever I just. I couldn't have been more disgusted with this team like it was it was funny to the point where I mean literally laughing with this. There was a few dolphins fans in front of me at the bar. Just shake our heads the entire time by the way I found a way to almost it's it's not a pure guarantee but almost guarantee we will get a win this year here yeah yes well. I think a jets are buffalo are beatable. I think we I think we could we could lead if we don't split with both we gotta split with one fund that owned for after the break up with the with the then we gotta stretch of three of those next thanks for our winnable games and who knows you know okay so Sunday this Sunday. No I'm not ready well. Let's does from here and a half point underdogs as of this. Here's my secret. I don't like survivor and I got roped into a survivor pool dolphin. I'm just going with the Dolphin opponent. It's an IT's easy. It's the right thing to do but I'm not good at survivor so eventually I'll be wrong and we'll get our win. The problem is is when they play a team again. I won't be able to use that team right and that's that's might be that might be a when I get knocked out so they're eighteen and a half one hundred dollars at home. So if this game was in New England they'd be twenty four and a half point underdogs. I know well I yes. We are doing it for three further. New England so if this was in Foxborough we would be let that sink in twenty. Is that the that might be the largest line I've ever heard. Nfl I don't I don't know if it would be only because I know in Miami. I understand but I think it's sort of like an it's almost like it's like exponential when you get up there. I don't think I mean eighteen already one of the I'd might be the highest line I've ever seen and I'm it went up because it was it was seventeen and I think to start so like it's people are taking. I it's I mean they're going to get murdered on some. I think this thing opened at at like fifteen and a half or sixteen. This thing's going to be bet to nineteen yeah. There's going to get murdered like I mean. It's going to be awful this this actually looking at the site that we use it as actually nineteen already as right right now so I'm at the point where I know that everybody had like. They're all signed off on this this rebuilding the at what point like as bad as how bad is it going to have to get for them to start like like. Do you think floors job is safe this year yes no matter what like in sixteen and they lose by thirty points every single time yes that was the whole point of his deal was like we are going to win. In the first two years yeah they gave him extra years on his deal in a normal coaches deal and there's there's word that this is not this is this is from Ross like don't win in the first two years like or the first year that well. I don't think there's time for this segment but if this team is bad enough that unless there's there's a dude they really love and it's a good quarterback class next year. There's no guarantee they even go quarterback now. They need pieces. They need they could float up on the line in this and wait a sort of similar to the browns waiting on when everyone thought they needed to take a quarterback and they ended up taking some that with the nutbag late but they passed on a lot of good guys and people like what are you doing like there. Were loading up. We're not ready to put a quarterback out here in terrible team so this. This is what I don't get like this is I guess and I WanNa talk more about this. Sunday game like preview that but what about this whole situation is like why waste the pick on Rosen like why trade trade the pick for Rosen if like it's clear that well like I was putting him in any kind of position to succeed. You're not like your what did you do that for. Well it one to see see you're not you can't see anything with this like this is not a have a chance they know but they can evaluate whether the guy is good who listeners you cannot physically see my eyes and how hard they are murdered it. That's how loud my eyes rolled on. You know there's no. There's no point ain't in practice. That's if if he's a I think they are plant. They are trying to lose every game. I just don't like what did why even bring Rosen in in here like he's not even like now. You wasted depict together even though it was even though we thought it was a great deal but like there's no reason for him to be here here. He's not like there's this team's not going to succeed. Here's you're not putting him in an succeed. They're not planning because as I just mentioned. They're not looking. Take Guy next year. This is an tank for two or help me. Herbs shares rose in next year. Rosen plays with a little better team and gets a chance to prove himself and and again if we end up top five pick Romans out Trevor Lawrence in two years if if if if we get a top five pick then Rosen's out if we if he gets us to eight or whatever then Rosen maybe stay later picks go to build the team around him but it's impossible to say this because we only have the lens of a week one shellacking that can't be overblown correct. We have to see and again even even we're. GonNa see another one on Sunday well. There's a chance they're not GONNA lose fifty nine ten on Sunday. I think the the we always beat that you know we're five and one against them. Miami going to destroy us that means..

"But you know, they're kind of keeping quiet. They're laying low you don't wonder if they're they're reaching out to someone behind back. Yep. I don't know we could. Time will tell we will see the Miami Dolphins not scheduled interview Darren Rizzi until later this week than they will hopefully be able to get a chance to interview Chris Rashard and or Brian floors again, hopefully after their teams lose this weekend. Otherwise, if one or both of them win they interview them again until after the conference championship game whether or not the Cowboys and or the patriots win or lose that conference championship game. We'll see what direction the Miami Dolphins going will. Of course, be back with you whenever we come back on the air with the latest coaching updates. And as we move forward as they fill up their staffs. We'll get a better idea of what kind of players this squad might be looking for in the upcoming season. And that's when we get into free agency and draft talk. And that's when it's going to get really interesting as dolphins try to rebuild his team and build a sustainable winner. "This is Matthew cannot adjoin here. My Joshua Johnson. Aaron son the Miami Dolphins continuing their exciting offseason, thus far traveling around the United States and interviewing different head coach candidates over the past several days in over this past weekend's starting off with Brian floors, the linebackers coach defacto defensive coordinator for the New England Patriots followed up an interview with Eric enemy from the Kansas City. Chiefs offensive coordinator there many surprise interview down in New Orleans to talk to Dennis Allen of the New Orleans Saints at defensive coordinator there stopping Dallas to interview Chris or chard the Dallas Cowboys secondary coach and defacto defensive coordinator. Mike munch did not want to interview with the dolphins. He has his eyes are set on the Denver Broncos and the dolphins elected not to interview Vic Fangio. So at this point in time, the Miami Dolphins candidates are down to the following Brian Flora's, Eric b enemy. Dennis Allen, Chris Rashard and Darren Rizzi based on everything that's been reported over the past few days on various media outlets. The three yards per carry podcasts also reporting crystal shard expected to get a second interview. Adam Beasley the Miami Herald reporting, Dan, Bryan floor is expected to get a second edge of you. So far as to even saying that floor is might be at the top of the dolphins wishlist and Darren Rizzi still set to interview, but it is presumed that he will be off shoot. In to the second round of interviews as the first round mainly us get to know the guy who he is. And what he does. And what he's all about. And the dolphins having Darren Rizzi in the building for ten plus years. No exactly who that man is really no sense. And having that I interview so I can safely presume that it is down to three candidates. I'll go stuff further and spray foam that is down to Brian floors. And Chris Rashard, I have a working theory on that. But I do want to bring in sun and how to give their opinions on the coaching. Search us far we've seen some action around the NFL in terms of coaching moves ready. We've seen the Green Bay Packers kind of surprise higher. Weird higher taking the titans offensive quarter. Matt leflore Tim Bay Buccaneers announcing Bruce Arians. Back to the sideline that's going to be a lot of fun to watch with him. And James Winston and the surprise of that all Arizona Cardinals interviewing cliff Kingsbury hiring him on the same exact day. Several vacancies still remain in effect such as the Bengals such as the Broncos the Browns the jets and the Miami Dolphins, of course. Obviously, those seems hoping to wrap up their coaching searches as soon as they possibly can. So this episode Finsider will be all about the Miami. Dolphins coaching search the very latest and what we know. And what we can tell you sign house. It's been a whirlwind of a few days. It's exciting almost. And I caught myself today reminding myself to enjoy the process to enjoy the moment that we're in right now because we know the offseason is coming, and we know it's going to be dead. So as long as the dolphins are relevant, and we're talking about them in an exciting fashion. I think everything is just fine right now. I enjoy connecting the dots as much as anybody else. You know, it's going to be way more important what the staff ends up looking like big picture kind of as a as a singular organism so to speak instead of just head coach. Obviously the head coach is important. But the guys that the head coach brings in is also very important. It does seem like a three person race. I will say it's probably a two person race in my opinion. I will route I will route my ass off for Dan resume of he ends up getting the job. I just don't think he will. So I really think it's going to be about between Chris Rashard him Brian Flora's. And I think both those guys those young guys who. Florez knows our team and Rashard like him coming in working with our secondary site. They both have some pros, and they're young enough that even if they end up being this Lee Harvey Oswald fog, I Pazzi sort of figure for us. They could weather that storm. And obviously if we present any type of tanking any semblance of tanking next year..

"Philadelphia's secondary has been an infirmary as of late although they've got some really good play from guys like result. Douglas. But as you mentioned, this is this is still a team that's built on defense primarily in Vic Fangio has had this this unit. Just humming as of late, and the funny thing is I don't think Khalil Mack is head of Saxons Green Bay game when he had three. I mean, he had a ton of pressures in in San Francisco, and they were clearly trying to get rid of the ball quickly to avoid him. And then last. Week. He had a couple of near misses. Oh, he's always pressuring. He just hasn't really gotten home as of late. But a lot of people have been talking about the fact that the last time Khalil Mack saw the eagles. He struggled against lane. Johnson lane Johnson's a really good tackle. But I mean, Chicago is gonna flip Floyd and MAC often. So I expect them to feast I expect Chicago's defense to do what it has done. And even though a lot of people in the media are picking against the bears right now. I'm not really sure what that's all about. I think the bears win at home. So which will set up a really good divisional weekend. I think because then that means they'd go to LA on Saturday night. Which would be a cool game the rematch. If you will. All right. I ask my name is Keith thanks for tuning in. And listening was babble. We only did. Now. It's fifty minutes. That's okay.
