"I can't help. But think that they probably would give the wires the best fight if they had them. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think so I mean, they look they well, especially because they became really deep all of a sudden they're bench wasn't great. And then when they got Kanter, and they've added Rodney hood, and they added a bunch of guys to kind of that second unit. Because really that's second unit was Evan Turner. And a bunch of dudes Scott. Yeah. But Evan Turner is you know, I think at this point everyone knows he's just like an decent backup all around type player like he didn't do anything special. But he does everything pretty good. And that's actually a decent guy to lead your second unit because he's you know, a bit of a Swiss army knife. And when he's on man like he can still be incredible. He can still have kind of those moments. So, but yeah, I do think that if they had. Use of Norwich that they would certainly be a bigger threat potentially. But look at what drains doing a cappella so negative. I think is a better all around player then Capella. But man Capella is the epitome of what you want your center to be in two thousand nineteen and he is just being eliminated in this series this for cleary unplanned book and sat lineup it's it is pretty wild. But right. So let's do it. It is the final take four days after the NFL draft. We will talk about the Los Angeles chargers who by the way, we had the funds can you? Find me some NFL music to to go with this. When you get sec. What we had Jerry Tillery their first round pick the out of Notre Dame. He was delightful to speak to. I mean that kid. He's got look if it doesn't work out in football. He can absolutely be real. He can be anything. Really? He seemed very worldly. But broadcasting in his future if he'd like it. That's there's no question. All my God. When they picked him. I was doing the show with Michael junior. Who knows a big Notre Dame guy? And he's a very fascinating human being with a lot of interests. Yeah field. And so you know, what he reminds me of like in the NBA reminds me of Chris Bosh? That's that would be his come as far as personality hundred pounds or just personality Cup. Right. Yeah. He's personality conflict Chris personality comps for the draft. That's such an under tab, right? No one. Does that? Right. Yeah. He was like super worldly. Like, we asked him. I don't even know what we started talking about. We start talking about food, and we oh because he said his favorite place Hawaii. So I asked him pineapple on pizza, and he's like absolutely gotta have it. You know hot dog. He's a sandwich. Like, we got into a lot of stuff with the NFL music for that. Yeah. No. It's actually draft stuff. Okay. That's the cue for me to shut up and you to go chargers. Go on a great you want everything. What are we got? This is a quieter draft you kind of flew under the radar. But that's what you want from a good team. Like the chargers that's pretty div and doesn't have a ton of needs. I liked the Tillery pick. He was a little bit divisive. Among scouts. I would say going into the draft kind of song mocked on. Yeah. Yeah. Honestly, the the thing and a lot of NFL scouts. Don't like is having interests in a personality. So you can discount that for being dumb, but it was a little bit inconsistent. And that was an area though, that they absolutely need to feel to having lost. Darius Filon and Corey legit up the middle there. And then they went with the pick. I loved in the second round the safety from Delaware Nassir Adderley who can just play pretty much all positions back their total ball hawk guide a pair with Derwin James another one..

"So it's a little concerning. So you gotta figure they're probably looking at the defensive tackle class in thinking. There's value there in the second third rounds? But in that, I mean, they've got a lot of work to do for teen and said that they were focused on improving the running game the run defense. I mean, I'm not sure you can say that they've really done that yet. And we're like you said two weeks into into free agency. So. They better they better get on the horse and start filling some more holes, maybe create some more cap space. Travis benjamin. You got a cold? You're coming. Throat. Yeah. But they need to fill a couple more holes before they go into the draft. And I'm sure we'll probably see a couple of coupons signings. Once the dust settles after the draft, it seems like they'll probably find the couple bargain, guys. But difference makers guys at move the needle. They don't have yet. No the plant is definitely suspect right now. And I don't think you can grade the direction till after the draft and we'll see after that's all over. But when you go into free agency with your biggest weaknesses being free safety, obviously defensive tackle offense of tackle. And you could say linebacker. I guess you could argue that they got better at linebacker though. All they did is they had the same exact guys, but added Thomas Davis brought back Perryman and expecting a different result. This time that kind of prove it type of bet on yourself deal. They gave the Perryman and then defensive tackle they lost Filon and square, so far seemingly we don't know. But and just went back with me. So I would say they're worse at officer tackle, they did nothing. So the same free safety. They did nothing. So the same. So in your four biggest weaknesses, you have an upgraded your team at all. And you know, maybe your best signing if Thomas Davis is your best signing if tyrod Taylor is next up a guy who's not going to get many snaps and not gonna affect your team at all. I don't I don't think you've done very well and free agency. I would agree with that. I mean, people are excited about tyrod. I guess it's good that they have a good backup. But he's probably not gonna see the field of a lot. You're gonna have to kill Phil to take them off the field. Oh, yeah. So. The idea that they might play him in on fourth downs or in the red zone. I guess it's possible. But how are you going to sell fill up on taking him off the field and reducing his numbers and taking the ball out of his hands on fourth down in the red zone to get tyrod on the field. I mean that's going to be a tough sell for guy who never comes off field. So to have a guy like that your second best signing. It's a little problematic two weeks. And what about our cohort over bolts from blue Matthew Stanley suggesting hey, you know, if he is that fourth down quarterback on sneaks. We won't have to watch Philip rivers go out there and do that fake that nobody's buying on that fourth down again. I mean, it's possible. I love that idea. I love it. Do we think Len and wasn't hundred going to do that? They don't seem like they're all that interested in going for it on fourth down. And again, you can have to dry Philip off the field and pry the ball out of his cold dead hands. So I don't know how that works. I don't know either. But they also handed the ball off to Melvin Ingram at the goal line last year. So who knows who actually knows? So let's let's go ahead and get in this linebacker class. I don't wanna do it. And I know you don't either. But we kind of have to. So let's go ahead and go over these linebackers. We've got five we'll give a sleeper. We'll give our top five. And then we'll talk about direction into the draft we discussed it a little bit. But we'll get more into it. So let's go ahead and start and the first one on this list is Devon white LSU. Hello. I'm Spencer hall from Espy nation. And I wanna tell you about my new show. It seems mart..

"Because I have going back and watch them, and he wasn't all that good. He wasn't the Honey badger from the cardinals. He's from what I saw he's getting paid based on reputation name value for sure I mean, he he wasn't bad. But he is. No, no, no, no, no. He's not the ball hawk that people give him credit for being that. He looked like he was going to be coming out of college. And that he was for the cardinals. Yeah. For sure, but he's versatile. You can move them around. I mean, there's value there. But to be one of the highest paid safeties and league making fourteen million. No, thank you. Yeah. As much as he would have fit with the chargers. Not at that price. I was going to say Trent Brown is probably the worst contract we saw handed out like day of free agency. But Nick foles might actually take that. There was some bad ones today. I mean, foles fifty million guaranteed. Are they bringing Doug Peterson with them? Because if not you're in trouble. Yeah. The raiders made a lot of a lot of hefty moves today that weren't I I wouldn't give Joyner ten million dollars ten million a year. No. I was I was more on the eight seven eight, reg. Yep. Yeah. He that's not worth it. He didn't even I mean, he's not really the ball hawk that people think he is either. So I don't know. No. I don't know what these guys are doing. You know, the Philadelphia Phillies talked about stupid money, I'll offseason when they recording Manny Machado and and Bryce Harper. And I think I think the raiders took that to heart. They threw some stupid money out there today for sure oh, man. Have they ever? So let me ask you if the chargers came out of free agency with having re-signed Adrian Phillips having resigned areas Filon, and let's say for argument's sake, they scientists Shawn Gibson. And k Jay, right? Are you happy? I'm ecstatic. I was happy aftertaste on Gibson throwing K Jay Wright, and I'm ecstatic. Yeah. Of course, I mean, they they have to re sign Phillips and file on. I mean, they unless they can find some upgrade if they're going with like TIMMY Jernigan over file on maybe that makes more sense where Sheldon Richardson or something maybe but getting re-signing agent Philps as a must now with Perryman, especially with the contract knowing that he's not a long-term answer. And then you throw in taste on Gibson and then Heathrow McKay j right? Yeah. Man. I'm ecstatic. Would you be happy if they just signed Asia Philipson dairies Filon, and then some like lower level, you know, like a tight end three. And, you know, another free safety depth. What I'd be. I'd be happy with re- with OB happy that they were able to retain file on Phillips. But I would not be happy with the offseason as a whole. If that was all they did. That makes. Yeah. Yeah. I think there's got to be. I think Filon Phillips is fine. Like, we're talking sea level grade. There's got to be one move just one they got. And I'm not saying like, right? Yeah. I'm not saying Earl Thomas, I'm just saying a move. Yeah. Whether it's a cage as one of these middle. We're not talking Dominic ensue Earl Thomas, I'm just talking, you know, one of these moves at a move the kind of move the needle a little bit more taste on Gibson, TIMMY, Jernigan K. Right. You know, something mid level may show them Richardson..

"Then they release gronkowski up the field. And if a natural pick play forcing king over the top can't get there in time patriots number five and total offense this season. Now seven defensive backs for LA. I intended for thirty inside hand off. And there is nothing there loss of one for Sony. Michelle Derwin James, the pro bowler all pro in his rookie year wraps them up. And this lineup actually Derwin James is the strong side linebacker on the line of scrimmage Ellen. Can't get there. Quick enough. That's the flexibility have with with ah die enduro and James out there. They can rotate them back and forth from outside linebacker destroyed. Safety. Chris HOGAN motion man from left to right now. Come back to the nearside on a second and eleven for New England play action Brady feels the wash dumped it off. Right, ty. Caught by Michelle Michelle makes his move upfield along the numbers across the thirty five is he falls forward to the thirty eight yard line. Hit by Filon of L A that's nine yards on a catch and run defensively for the chargers. Bosa Jones me Bain starting Filon rotates in with Rochelle Ingram along with manual and then in the secondary Hayward, a dive Phillips Derwin James, Michael Davis. They'll go empty on third and two trying to convert another third down. Talks nearside Brady hits white in stride. He's got a first down to the middle of a field. And he is brought down near midfield at ten yard quick hitter. For New England. Well, that's set up almost like eight. It's basically a wide receiver screen, and they have three receivers to that side blocking before the balls ever thrown do that behind the line of scrimmage, that's a legal play very well designed by Josh mcdaniels James white second among running backs this season and receiving yards behind Christian McCaffrey. And a new set of downs for New England to work with at the forty eight yard line opening possession of the day moving right to left on a shovel pass to white running to is right. Spilled out of the thirty five three eight seventy on display Rochelle whiffed and white made them pay to the tune of seventeen yards. Injured charger is Adrian Phillips who is still on the ground for LA. He's trying to make the tackle down the field off. The shuffled pass. It's really well. Designed shuffled pass up inside. In they're gonna pull -tuni- who kicks out and actually just a baseball. They pull Andrews, and that's where the whole comes. The medical staff is checking on Adrian Phillips. Who was a pro bowler this season for a special teams play, but has become very important in this base defense as he took a shot from one of his own men. In fact, it was ratio on Jenkins..

"Left Jackson. Tuck and run. He's got the first across the thirty lowers the shoulder and cats extra yard too long, the perimeter Jalil guy was there to greet him. He carried him for three more yards. And it's a gain of thirteen. This is where he is so dangerous everyone talks about the read option, which is a huge part of this offense. But you get in passing situations, and you better have a spy or someone paying attention. Because if he doesn't like what he sees the field. He's an he's those lakes take off. He's not sliding no one's gonna finish Ron Tony. He led the NFL in third down rushing. Not let all quarterbacks led the NFL in rushing yards on third down this season. I down four Baltimore from thirty nine play action. Jackson throws nobody home. He threw it into a crowd Willie Snead. The intended receiver with three defenders in the area. It's incomplete go downstairs check it with Ben Lieber on the sidelines. Ben. Yeah. Tony keeps talking about is. Puzzling. For Baltimore the approach they're taking in the run game with L A, not having a single true inside linebacker in playing seven defensive backs. They're not really run the ball downhill allow the runs our perimeter runs its at zone read. And then here on first down there electing to spread out their offense and try to throw the football with the running quarterback. I think they gotta get back to rain power football right in the interior in the teeth of this chargers defense. Yeah. No doubt. They're going against the grain right now. Morning. Morning works playcalling. Here's a running call up the middle. And there's nothing there. Gus Edwards behind the line of scrimmage. Darius Filon came firing through for L A, and it's a loss of a couple then they tried to run downhill here. It's the power game. And. File on just does a great job of replacing the pulling guard, and he does not he gets so much penetration. They can't block back on them. And he's in the back field before anything can get started. So that loss of one for Gus Edwards. He had one carry during the regular.

"Went forward. I mean, this is a a pure phone. Rodney Gunter hits his hits the football, right? As his arm is about to go forward. Hit it. Mayo recovered it. They could review, but this is a pure fumble. And it was perfectly timed out as he was about to go forward. But his arm was not going forward and Gunter did the football cardinals back on offense. David johnson. Behind Josh Rosen. Larry FitzGerald in motion now. Left stacked up with Christie Kirk I down hand off to Johnson. Takes a hop. Skip a jump in going to. A yard navy a yard and a half. Darius Filon in on the tackle that fumble there. That's I fumble loss for Philip rivers this year. False securities as good as the wrist, especially when there's it's a dirty pocket. Like was with a lot of opposition around him and two years ago. He had a terrible year with all security. It wasn't issue. As was often to line the past couple of years. Eventually I had a couple of interceptions last week in a boneheaded play the league. The Denver Broncos to come in and beat charges here at stubhub seconds and nine rose in back to pass is gonna throw it out in the flat to Sheffield. Was going to gain on the play Michael Davis. The linebacker pushes him out of bounds. As the cardinals are back inside that thirty yard line. The high red zone to some in the NFL at the twenty eight yard line third and about three. Ten minutes to go in the second quarter. Partly ten seven. Joey Bosa ended last drive for the cardinals with a sack his first of the season. Larry FitzGerald to the right. David Johnson now out in the flat, east Ghana. Papa ball thrown to him by Rosen. As the tape is Brown is going to be credited with breaking up the play. But that was just a quick toss by Rosen whether he felt pressure remembered Bosa he got rid of that one a little bit to the route combination is David Johnston on your slant flat. He hit the the flat, David Johnson. But even if he caught it to brownwood backward before the first down. So we're going to get enough on that play the ages. Phil Dawson twentieth year in the NFL lines up for a forty six yard field goal. Dossey lines it up. Takings up, and it's going to be no good. No good. Why two left as the chargers? Celebrate. And may escape a Philip rivers. Fumble his first of the year. Let's take a time out with nine forty to go. The score is cardinals ten chargers. Seven more actions field up next..

"Gabe, Jackson and safety. Karl-josef were both a full go on Wednesday for the chargers. Eight is a very short list on Wednesday Joey Bosa again did not practice. Darius Filon didn't practice either. Now, he went down was even carted off on Sunday. But then returned later in that game. So we'll see if he's ready to go against the raiders and the edge rusher. Chris Landreau was. Limited with a hip injury. All right. So like I mentioned little bit different format this week. Let's talk about what happened during the first matchup when the chargers beat the raiders in week five in LA Rhys time, no have him in Oakland. But a lot has happened since then there has been a lot more turnover for the Oakland Raiders, we talked about in the last raiders preview podcast Alaska Lille MAC since then they cut their next best pass rusher. Bruce irvin. He just got signed to the Atlanta Falcons. And then the trade deadline. They traded their best wide receiver Amari Cooper to the Dallas Cowboys. They place their starting right? Tackle Donald Penn on injured. Reserve also put their running back. They're starting running back marshawn Lynch on injured reserve. They waved their kicker. Matt mcrainey who the chargers saw on week five actually missed a kick during that game. And ended up cutting their former second round pick from year ago OB Mullah fondue the defensive back. Back. He's with the patriots now. So let's go over what happened last time was home game for the chargers. Like, I mentioned it was in LA. They won twenty six to ten the raiders offense. Had nothing going that day the charter soul hard, stop the run. And they did it to near perfection marshawn Lynch had thirty one yards on nine carries on the ground in Lynch was their leading rusher that day..

"This is going to be a penalty against Tennessee. Nineteen. That's caused a sharp wide receiver. And I'm not sure anything drives coaches as nuts as when a wide receiver false starts Ross, especially when a wide receivers. Now, you've been listening to the cadence anyway because he usually can't hear it. He's really just watching the football. Most like he's defensive player. What happened is the chargers flinched a little bit and that movement by them caused him to fly. It's okay for defensive player Flint into they. Don't cross the line of scrimmage shotgun. Snap the shorter. The middle of that spot by Davis up around the twenty five yard line. So we'll get back to where they were before the penalty tavis Brown linebacker mixed. The stock. It'll be third down up third down and eight up for this Tennessee offense that a good job down on their opening drive. We'll see if they convert on third long hair. So interesting to see five different guys come in for the chargers when they go into these situations a couple of a couple of pass rushers like Isaac Rachelle and Corey Lee. Get a whole package for plays. Just like this rips right signal receiver left Borneo to back of the shot. Good data at eight the twenty four Oriole to takes snap back. It gets before that looks hideous sack back around the twenty yard line. He got sacked eleven times a week ago. This time Darius Filon gets into sack of the first one today for the chargers. It's a loss of four at Tennessee will put it away and Ryan that's on him. I mean, he had plenty of time. He stepped up into that Zac. If you just stayed where he was he would have been okay Taylor Lewan was blocking Filon.

"It fake travel. His second. The movement within that offensive possession, though was great especially mix between the second unit. And some of the starters that are still in there. That's the type of thing that Denver wants to do. And and you're right on the clock a little bit. You're working the motion Coachman says their best they just play the game while that was a great example of displaying the game the key. Now Jackson Jack antonoff inside the Arctic back over the Jackson gets down the way your Bank shot. No good. Rebound. Lyles. He's on the move in front of Monte handed. And that's going to be an offense. Just a little bit out of control, Katie. Yeah. And it has to do with the speed of the game. They're coming in. And they want to make an impact right away. They want to be a part of the momentum. That's going on it when that happens. Sometimes your head gets ahead of your body. And you're not able to have the control that you necessarily need. It's tough coming off the bench and coming in wanting to make an impact right away. Jackson houses Thompson right side over the warn CJ looking at an entry pass eight started thereby Macy's fumbling. Besnard boob gets the paint. Good rebound. Tipped by Lyles right to hear that. Howlett Passover Jamal Murray. Moore's force acid. Just got off. He's gonna write hit prompt will concerns now. Download the base of through the lane top of the key with passed on taper three. Rebound FOX Lorna Filon, Trey Lyles. Little word on will. This has got right hip. Probably will return evaluate them. And you would hate to see that, you know, be something serious where he's taken out for an extended period of time. Obviously, we don't know the severity of the injury yet. But he was definitely pain. And I feel like it's even it hurts the nuggets even more because he had really found his role within that starting group. And I know this game number two. He found his rhythm. He was taking shots within the offense. And that would be a tough loss. Let's keep our fingers crossed nuggets. Go for one here that a shooting about five seconds Lyles has it. They get Murray off of a girl goes down shooter. Jumper missing rebound comes down to hate. I'll look Passover TJ ward has an behind him to catch a three pointer by j Warren goes up in another lead. All of a sudden does down to thirteen. Wow. What a comeback by Phoenix here difference between the game and shot clock is about six point four seconds. Jamal Murray has it at the mid towards circle each guarded out there by bridges. Shacklock now at seven here comes the high fixtures. Lyles right hand throws us allies on the pick and pop watchos head fake into three rebound down the four seconds left for canons canons across the time, lost whistle. And he doubled tripled past point nine seconds. Denner spending a couple of situations. Now where they've gotten the opportunity to hit a shot with the clock running down. These came situations. "Get some interior pressure. You're gonna have to pressure on the edges as well. Now, the interior of the Browns office of line happens to be their strength, and they got some veterans in the middle to at center. They run through the former Packer JC Trotter he's their field general at guard. The Browns have their longtime offense of Lyman. Joel Tonio he's playing left guard in the former bangel Kevin Zeitler is playing right guard. Now Zeitler the strength of that line and between the three. That's a lot of interim presence in the middle of that line, and they're looking to move downhill, look for a lot of insight zone on Sunday. With these three backs, we'll talk about those backs on a little bit. So at tackle, this is where the Browns are the weakest, the sign, the former Steeler, Chris Hubbard this off season and he's manning the right side of the line, but he's really struggled to begin the year on the. Other side, you've got the UTSA protecting the blind side desma Harrison. A lot has been made of Harrison. Strong start to start the year, saw excited to watch Harrison when going back and watching these Cleveland game so far and at left tackle, it didn't seem like who's being attacked a lot this year intil this past week and against the ravens where Baltimore basically lined up Terrell suggs right on top of Harrison and sons had a field day on Sunday. It was Harrison's worst game of the year. He showed a major weakness against the bull rush. So what I'd like to see Melvin Ingram, let them loose on Sunday against Harrison. Also, how about lending deers file on at the five tech versus Harrison gusted on Sunday when he lined up Filon on the left side right against Colt Miller, the raiders rookie left tackle. And if you remember that play, Filon bull rushed Miller. He took advantage of them and just overpowered him and got the sack on that play. So that's something I'd like to see again now op. You can't run dairies filing a five tech fifty sixty percent of the snaps. I'm not saying that, but it'd be a great wrinkle. So I think lining of Filon just a few times as a five tech against Harrison, maybe giving them a little Hubbard too. I think that would be good because that'd be an advantage for the charters because that's Harrison's weakness and you can create some pressure off the left side. If you can get him with that bull rush, you might see Melvin Ingram do the same. I'm sure they saw it on tape, but the Browns gave up five sacks last week to six different Baltimore. Defenders to them collected a half a sack. So that's the worst they've done is unit two season, and that is a lot to do with the competition. I think I have a feeling that a lot of the defensive lines, the Browns face so far this year aren't going to end up being good at the end of the year. So I think they've had a little bit of a pass and not a real test until they faced this really good Baltimore defensive line in took advantage six guys getting in the backfield collecting sacks, not. Including pressures and all that. So the strength of the Browns offensive line is they're run blocking. But in pro, they're going to get tested again this week, I think they struggle there and I think they struggle again and I think that has a lot to do with the competition. In fact, last week, Eric, Weddell even collected a sack on a safety blitz. I'm sure Derwin James just licking his chops this week watching how easy that came from Weddell on tape. So hopefully gusts he's two. Now we'll talk about the wide receivers Derwin. James might have to cover a lot in this game because of the speed from these receivers. But you gotta send her when James here because there are some opportunities there on the safety blitz. Now, kind of mentioned the three headed monster for the running backs, and they got a stable consisting of Carlos Hyde. The former forty nine running back, do Johnson and the rookie Nick job. Now the Browns offense loves to run the ball up front special on first down with Carlos hide, hide his ninth in the league in rushing arts on first down with two hundred. And six. He's averaging three point nine yards per carry on first down the charters run defense will need to stop the Browns early because they're going to go back to that..

"And that's why to me if you're building the perfect team, the perfect team is a combination of the team being led by LeBron Kawai and Anthony Davis. That's your best antidote against the warriors, I think. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I think that being said though, I don't want to dismiss the young guys out of hand. This was a better team than people gave it credit for last year. They were all they needed was a guy like LeBron which I mean that's. But they actually, but they actually how many teams could you say that about? We only. Actually got him. I mean, what can you. LeBron that are not a playoff team? Phoenix, Phoenix, Sacramento. That's pretty much it probably the Knicks because they're the Knicks and makes it easy. Sacrimento filling competent. They'd like suspended LeBron. Teams, and that's just because they're so incompetent. We're talking about the two most incompetent teams currently in the league with Robert server in the sons, the never back and Filon Ron, staying back, right. We're gonna get you cats. Yeah, I want to throw this out here because we were talking about, you know, kind of the bread firms that might leave Anthony Davis to the Lakers. I think one thing that that we're going to look back on and be like, oh yeah, how did the Lakers get LeBron they brought in Casey p your before? And they built that connection built that bridge who the Lakers bringing this summer LeBron just so they know they brought in. They brought in Rondo who wants to be a part of the future. Yeah, and as a discount and has a great relationship with Anthony Davis. The Rondo left, and now you've got that connection to Anthony Davis. I mean, could be setting things up. Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what moves they may. I mean, obviously, if you can get Anthony Davis, you trade for hell. It's going to happen, but can they get aggregate the. But can they get a second max guy and then trade for Davis. You know, while having that, if you get a Colli if you get a Kevin Durant to leave from Golden State, see that to me is the big challenge because I don't believe co is going to be a Laker. I actually think he's going to be a clipper with With that. that. And I think that that to me is going to be who's going to be able to take all this space because I don't see Durant leaving. I know everyone's saying these are the Knicks I think not. I mean, he may end the good of the Knicks, but I think he's definitely sticking around for that chase center to open. I don't think clay's leaving as long as they give him the max. I know on pretty good authority that he's staying with the Golden State Warriors. So like who's left like Jimmy Butler. If Jimmy Butler does get traded wherever is going to trade from his going to give him the extension, Chris Middleton at a Milwaukee. I, he's the, he's going to piecemeal the rest of it is. Yeah, I think you you try to you try to go about it that way and look, I is what I prefer to have kunai. Yeah, I would probably prefer I'd rather have qui-, but but I do like I don't. I don't. I don't like the idea of just giving Amax contract because that's a max contract. And I think to a certain extent you have to, you have to take fit into account here too, and Middleton does a lot of the things that you would need alongside those two guys if you're being to guys, Anthony Davis and LeBron the problem though is next summer bunch of teams have cap space, and it's going to be two thousand sixteen all over again, twenty games, right where Chris Middleton's of the world we're. I mean, he's a good player when we're talking clearly a different tier of player than the guys we were referring to premium. There are going to be getting Max's or close to maximum type contracts. So in an environment like that, I think of the guys. You mentioned George? I think Durant's the most notable of the bunch Butler will be out there, but do you wanna give a guy Butler on the north side of thirty down? Down. Can't. Can't you also if you have Butler on the team, you can't have anyone under thirty on the right..

"You know, it was a nice little wrinkle in this has nothing to do with Mike Williams on that reverse man in an I'm getting called back and I think it was a hold on TV. But man when he when he got a head of steam, I couldn't believe he was. He picked up like ten fifteen yards on that play, and that wasn't the speed you're expected for Mike Williams? Yeah. I think that had more to do with the raiders defense sucking than Mike Williams being fast, but he was listen. I'm not calling him. Tyreek hill, but I'm just saying, you look impressive. The blocking was great. And obviously the raiders defense sucks, and there's an obvious hold their to which kind of helped him spring. It was not. He looked good in space there. Yeah, he'll pretty good. All right. All right. So give me give me your last storyline here today. All right. My last storyline is more judgments from Gus on defense. He had a couple more personnel adjustments that we had not seen in previous weeks that I really liked one of those adjustments was we saw Adrian Phillips actually playing the will linebacker role in beastie fence at times. They also matched him up one on one with Jared cook couple of times to great effect, and he had a couple underneath pass breakups and a couple run stops. He was really coming down hill and playing extremely well to seem really comfortable in the role they had him in both is the will wind backer and the dime linebacker that the play. I think it was in the second quarter. Maybe the raiders second or third drive where the raiders tried to throw a little fade route down the sideline one on one with gates of them. Sorry with Phillips and Jared cook where he kind of pinched cooked to the sideline. One on one plan corner. Basically and ran out of bounds and didn't give him a chance to make a play. That was a fantastic job of using his technique and and really using his sidelined advantage. So very well played game for Phillips. He was a huge really unsung part of what the defense did yesterday also, you mentioned it earlier Darius Filon. He's been playing pretty much exclusively inside the first four games with the weakness at tackle. Gus, moved him outside a handful of times and sub packages. He played some five technique got a sack on one of those plays almost had a strip sack on another play where he was playing five technique somehow. I don't know how Derek Carr hold onto that ball, but he was able to kinda double clutch, get the ball down and find Jalen Rashard for a big pass play where Melvin lost track of his man in coverage, and then they did something. I didn't think they do. They resisted the urge to put Corey Leauge in the starting role and used in really as a situational pass rusher. They kept file on the field, which is. Earned and deserved because like I said, he has been the best interior linemen on the team so far this year, and they really just tried to rely on to get up field and make plays against the passing game, get to the quarterback which he didn't do. But that is the role he needs to have moving forward. He should not be getting more snaps and file on, and I wouldn't even think he should be getting nearly equal snaps to file on which he did on Sunday. I'm glad that they didn't thrust him into that starting role right away. They shouldn't regardless, but I just thought it was a, it was a given. They're just going to give him his spot back. Yeah, I did too. I fully expected that to happen, so it's nice to see them. You know, rewarding the good play a file on and not just handing lead his spot back after getting suspended. I thought they gave him a few too many snaps, but at least he wasn't the guy out there in the base defense getting, you know, getting starter, the starter snaps. Yeah. So my last story line here and you talked about a game plan thing for Gus, and I'll do a game plan thing for wiz, and that's I thought between. Ken Whisenhunt and Philip rivers. They did a really good job of hiding the inexperienced tackles Sam heavy and trenchcoat on the edges..

"James had another good game which was highlighted by that sticky put on on Jared cook where it should have been a five yard reception, but he drove him back so far as a two yard last I was awesome. And then these guys dairies Filon agent Phillips some of their best games this year. If not their careers file on how to sack tackle for loss appear QB hits. And you know, I didn't look at the stats, but look like he put more pressure on the quarterback than anybody in charges uniform on Sunday. And that sack Gus lineup, the defensive end put him on the left side against Miller and just overpowered Colt Miller. It was great. And then you know of course, Austin equa touchdown as well on that kind of panic dump off that rivers juggle the snap. Got rid of it with no time to spare, but that was something else, man. Awesome spaces, fun to watch. So it was fun to see a lot of strong play up and down the chargers roster on Sunday, and it. Wasn't just the usual suspects you expect. You know, mama Gordon get his and rivers to get his and Melvin Ingram show from time to time and James do his thing, but see things from Filon and square was nice in Ecuador, and you're seeing things from agent Phillips to this game. That was good. Yeah, I agree. I think the defensive line in particular deserve a huge shout out of this isn't necessarily one of my storylines, but across the board, the defensive line played extremely well squared it a lot of the dirty work against the run Filon I think had probably five or six pressures in that game. He almost had two sacks. He had a run stop. He was in the backfield consistently. There are a couple other plays where he penetrated caused marshawn Lynch to stop his feet, and the team came back, came in from behind him and cleaned up and a gang tackle. He was everywhere, and I think it's time, you know, we start looking at various vol on his something more than just a deaf piece because he is the best defensive lineman on this team bar. None. And people can cheer Corey Leauge at all. They want, they can talk about how great it is to have him back. They can talk about how he's a difference maker and and all this. But look, it did nothing in that game. He had many pancakes. Heated pressures in that game to each also had a penalty. His one run stop came as he was getting bent in half at the line of scrimmage by by John Feliciano. He did not play well. He did not make a difference. They weren't double teaming him. He was getting overpowered by people so you can celebrate him all you want, but Darius Filon that's the player in the middle of that line. Brandon me, Bain has really stepped it up the last couple of weeks as well. Yeah, me Bain square and file on those three guys are all playing lights out over the last couple of weeks. And I think it bodes well for them moving forward as they move into what most people consider the soft spot of their schedule. So big out that defensive line, even even is Rochelle, looked better in his new newly defined role. As that interior rusher and even off the times. So all those guys played really well. Yeah. Yeah, definitely. All right. So what else you got, what other store you wanna share with us? My second storyline is I thought, you know, you mentioned that they stepped on the gas in the in the second half, but I thought there was really a lack of continuity on offense. A wack of authentic flow, particularly in the first half of that game. You kind of mentioned it earlier on. I thought they should have scored somewhere between thirty five and forty points against that defense, which is not very good to me..

It the day before, the funeral That this is as demoralizing as it gets that this is why they're all, leaving that one, of, them told me personally that that this this this cop would would leave today Except for the fact that with the amount of service it'll be difficult, to make a, lateral, transition to any local police department But they were to be showing up at Dallas police headquarters this morning where they would be shamed, on the day before they bear their brother because they are murderers, and they are guilty and they kill people. Because they're black and, I'll tell you what my Dallas cop friend said today's well this is.
