So it was one of my favorite ones because it kind of it didn't really do anything for me. Especially at the end. They didn't really. Solve anything. It was just like, oh, they're recruiter. It just bounces out you still to floating eyeballs over can city. You don't think that will freak people the but the? Yeah. So it's okay. It's okay. It's cool. It's just floating voles. You know, you only see it from that side up. I want to see it from the bottom and lays it you had more cyborg doing nothing more Cy were negative mantles or for himself, especially doing the whole cradle at the end. You had Rita again. Trying to find her motions, which really doesn't have any. Yeah. And robot man, just walk around swearing a lot. Yeah. Trying trying to get with crazy, Jane what? Yeah. Signature phrase for him. Yeah. What? Yeah. Yeah. So big crazy, gene episode. But like I mean, we have sixty four personality to get through and we really have season five, and we'll you got through maybe six of them so far. She's she's probably the more interesting character to me. Yeah. Because I don't think she controls which personas come to the surface. Yeah. They kind of. So I would want them. I'm just kind of curious if the English girl is original person K, I think is when. I don't know where things came from. And I don't even know what? Her powers are. Yeah. Used them. So. Yeah, that's yeah. Because when they were near hives, she was a kid. So that was something happened when she was a kid that made her split into somebody personalities, but like I said very heavy on Jayme. Not one of my favorites. Because like you said there was in the thing is that these are our long shows, they're not like twenty thirty minutes shows, no commercials. So they are straight up like this was like the five fifty six minutes. So you do have a lot of things. But I think, you know, if you get along with, you know, come on, you know, and then you get the chief, but now chief walks, and that's goes back. So it's a little weird. And I think I think the characters of doom patrol are having a bit much. Trying to follow the story much as they can also having problems with it. There's like oh now you walk. What's going on? Now, you're backing going, and it's like, yeah. So I guess Mr. nobody's really messing with everybody. And so Mr. robot now is. Has like the doctor tend to he's telling at the at the end spoiler spoiler spoiler. But at the end, so they want to. What is it? Mr. nobody is telling her appellate. They don't know. They are doomed patrol. Now, he's at the end hangman's daughter doing the bending where her paintings. Yeah. I guess reveal stuff to come to life excite. Yeah. But the thing is like, apparently, they don't know that they are called doom patrol because she's all like what's doom patrol and just clicked on the didn't like they don't believe it had a name. So they just they're they're just do patrol them. Dudes who are hanging out together, a friend. So yeah, I think. Yeah. But I I'm kind of curious why Mr. nobody is. Well, if you had the comics, you know, there there's a big history him achieve the at. They don't like matching. Much. So. Yeah. So what did you what was your feelings about it? I agree with you. It's not my favorite doom virtual, but I but that being said, I think so far even the worst Dubreuil episode has been better than a lot of the drivel. That's on TV. Right. Yeah..

"And it's just I'm I'm not trying to make the video that's going to get a million views shares, and and all that. And I think we've learned if you look at your like. You might make video that gets two million views in month that doesn't necessarily mean long-term subscribers. It just means somebody watched it and then moved on. And that's that's not that's not very rewarding. Yeah. I'm the same way. I don't think I've ever had anything that went like crazy viral or you know, anything like that. And that's not the point for me either. I mean, I'm in the same place. I want to create a library stuff that somebody can stumble onto and be like, oh, here's a whole bunch of crazy stuff that shouldn't be in the same place like watch all this. That sounds fun. Peter MacKinnon is a videographer photographer guy, and he put out a video couple days ago. And it was just him talking to the camera. And he basically said like, I don't have a reason to do this video. But I'm doing it for the discipline of doing it. And so he talked about that. And it was really kind of meta because he was only making the video for the discipline. And he was talking about the discipline of making the video, and it was really cool because he made a really good point about, you know, if you decide not to do one today, then next time you're confronted with that option to not do one. It'll be easier in the more. You don't do something the easier. It is to not. Inverse is also been that Rutland my dog. I haven't every day. I'm like, no one's really looking for. No, one cares. Then I get. Okay. We haven't seen anything from you at all you did. But he made the point that also the inverse is also true. Like, if you do something it's easier to do it. Again. I see this with running all the time. If I take a day off, I'm almost likely to take the rest of the week off almost every single time in. So if I if I start like I had to do my run this morning because I'm the fed into it today. I probably wouldn't do it all week. But I think that goes back to what you're saying Jimmy about the videos, not all of them are going to be big and crazy and grand. But sometimes it's just about doing another thing to get to the next week to do under thing. And you know, it's you're just you're building a library in each book in the library is not necessarily interesting. But they're all there if somebody wants to someone across them. Yeah. That's good. Yeah. Really like fifty six minutes in you got anything else on this. I'm sure we could talk about things that are important to us forever. But Keillor anything else talking? I don't have my pick yet. I have. You have fifty six minutes. I have forty six minutes. I wonder if that's what is changing the microphone started the recording. Sorry. Let's figure this out. How? Don't. But I wanna bring up one little topic in. It's not for the audience because the audience listens to us in presumably enjoys our company, but. Lately, I see in a comment that drives me insane people. Call me fame seeker. And then I go to their Instagram or their YouTube channel, and it's like Billy Bob the maker man, a, Mike. Mike, are you a fame seeker as well? If you weren't like, a why would you have a YouTube channel where you trying to tempt a couple of things or an Instagram where you're like trying to show off things this one guy names like the angry is don't don't anybody care members. Name I deleted. I blocked him is the the angry shop guy it's in. It's in there were couple of people that follow me that have similar things. It's not any of you. They don't have first names number fifteen homes. Twenty three years old. And he does some stuff that football player. He's a quarterback should not do. He throws sideways. He throws balls where he's not looking in that direction. He lobs it. He he's innovator. I am going after this show. I am walking over to the Seattle center. I max feeder I'm watching free solo. Now, many of you know, what that is because streaming popular documentary. Of sweeping whatever it's about a dude. Who free climbed El capitan? In three hours and fifty six minutes with no ropes. Apparently. There was an incident when they had to close a theater because one of the attendees had a heart attack watching this guy on the sheer rock cliff with no ropes doing the things that he did now mind you the very first time that that was climbed capitan tunnel. It was a team of men climbers with ropes. It took him fourteen days to do it. This kid did it and three hours and fifty six minutes with no ropes. Listen to a podcast about this guy. Alex. He's a superstar in that particular sport. And the interview or was Lance Armstrong. What am I heroes and man those are two intelligent guys breaking down how to perform? Incredible. Feet compliments. Lance Armstrong is scared to death of heights. And so interesting conversation and Susan which the guy who can practically fly is trying to encourage the guy who won't go up an elevator that he too could accomplish that if he had correct information if he worked it if he developed a system, and if he trained for it in a meticulous way that which is Armstrong is known for that. When he raced the tour de France, he was the most successful. Bike racer in the history of the world period. Now, he did that for the using the same thought process that Alex did to to make this rock climbing feet, but to the two of them they are just baffled by how the person could do. How could you win the tour de France seven times that's impossible? How could you walk verdict? I mean like Spiderman couldn't go up that fast. Practically. Now, you can have information overload because of all the things that are going on out there financial services. There's messages being bombarded. Every time you turn around promising all kinds of things. I mean, you can have a education muehler you in with. Breakfast in the gourmet box. Luncheon keynote speakers and all this stuff. Internet. If your Facebook account has all this stuff about vanguard, infidelity, and blah. I just think the messaging sometimes is wrong. Develop a system. Did you know that if you improve a system? By one percent a month. After twelve months. The system will have improved. I think it's thirty seven percent take my map. But in the thirty s. It's the same concept of compounding interest. Right. Like if you improve the number one one hundred by one percent, and then you improve that by one percent the results not one. Oh, two because you got one percent on one on one. Now don't feel bad about information overload when you're being bombarded by all the stuff a good solution is not to shut.

But but yeah, basically, it was like this is really scary. I don't wanna be here. What's crazy is? I. It took them forty seven days. You did this is just fucking mind boggling like this is just next level. No, ropes three hours and fifty six minutes. Yeah. That is just. These guys are still alive. No, they, unfortunately, you're all gone now. I think and actually so the route that I free solid the person who had done the first ascent of that. That's a different route. They're one hundred different routes on. Okay. Go different parts of the wall. But the first essentially the one that I you can walk up the The stairs. ferry back the very walk up the back of that. That's that's all I could handle except that a lot of the places the edge rounds down to it. So then I would take my phone, and you know. Like that. And that that counts that's for. Sure, dude. I just goes modern problem solving. I just couldn't couldn't do it, man. I mean, you definitely could if you built up to in practice and trained, you know, because the thing I mean, if the I think that typically actually I mean, most people say they're afraid of heights are really just afraid of falling off and dying which is totally reasonable and as reasonable and so. So I mean, if you feel confident that you're not gonna fall off the mountain you just have to build up to that. Yeah. It's pretty rare that people are actually afraid of being a pie. I mean that might be the case for you. If your the hotel room window and stuff, but. If we were sophisticated enough I would have been fun to to go out and climb on something like. Gonna train the gym after this come come. Give it a try. Yeah. It's it's five minutes worth Mary. It's on the way back to the strip. So. Yeah. With rogue. You're like oh now. Well, I actually normally just boulder so without a rope. But you're only going the height of this room twelve feet or something just because it's a little more intense is easier way for me to train my weaknesses, and I would just love to be like, the, you know, the check in person at the climbing gym when you walk in. Yeah. We'd just depends which Jiminez because if you're in some random part of the country where they don't expect you them. You don't just show up at some rain. Do we? I mean, if I'm if I'm I mean, especially the Boise you just show you come on the Jim. Yeah. Yeah. He must shit their pants. He's fill out the waiver. I don't know. I mean, people try to keep a cool. "Do you notice the days changing length over the course of the year? It stays light later in the summer and get stark earlier in the winter. Most noted I mean, the whole day fields longer. I'm not sure that's possible done aren't days. Always twenty four hours long. It actually takes twenty three hours fifty six minutes and four seconds for the earth to rotate on its axis. But in fact, there is rotation is slowing down all the time because of the gravitational pull of the moon, we're still spinning around only more slowly does this mean that the days really do feel longer largely to you. Or me, I'll the moon slows us down by about two milliseconds a century. So that even one million years ago days were only twenty seconds shorter. I doubt I would have noticed that maybe not a million years ago, but four hundred million years ago days were twenty one and a half hours long. Now that I would have noticed while you really would have noticed is that the time it takes the earth to get around. The sun hasn't changed. So. So that back then there were four hundred days a year four hundred days a year. I hope the extra days are all vacation days. Not on our our central standard time. So that means I'm going to guess, we have three hours until there is a government shutdown, actually, two hours. And what fifty six minutes? Watch out look out. The apocalypse is upon us. Is upon us and an all out meltdown is upon us. We are all going to die. We are all going to die in two hours and fifty six minutes. If there is a shutdown. We are all. The dog from national Lampoon's vacation or whatever Christmas vacation snaps slots, the dog slats and snaps. My goodness people. Now, we need some help down here. Hey, happy Christmas. Happy Christmas, man. We're like two days three days. I don't know. I can't count. All right. So we are at an impasse. We got to be able to vote but with the Senate, but it passed, of course, the house yesterday or the day before whatever it was. But here we are. Now, it's gonna shut down in a couple of hours most likely, and it's going to be like, how at least the media's being partially honest in certain circles by saying it's a partial shutdown a partial shutdown. I think it's funny because what I'm actually very curious to watch. Is I'm curious to watch to see when the shutdown happens. How the media will try to how they will be able to portray others to look as horrible as they want us to think it is. And so as I think about this. I'm going. Let's interest me is what are they gonna find to make us go. Oh, no. Because they they their job is to make it look like the Republicans. That's how the media doesn't. They want the Republicans and Trump to look horrible. So what are they going to possibly be able to find that will make them look bad? I know in DFW, they're saying, the what the national weather service. That's all they got right now, the national weather German. The national weather service in DFW. That's the only thing the Dallas Morning News can come up with right now, national others. And so guys I think we do need to know that the weather's gonna stop on Monday. If this government shutdown happens tonight, and it's not solved by Monday at midnight Sunday midnight, then the weather's going to stop. We will have no weather in guys this that's probably the that's a serious concern. We may have no weather. We may have absolutely no weather. What happens when there's no weather. What happens when there's no we literally may have no weather on Monday. Can you imagine did you ever think? Did you ever think? That. Christmas Eve, we could wake up on Christmas Eve has no weather and then Christmas morning how can center. Fly his sleigh and land on our houses with no weather. Can he even fly with no weather? Actually, the national weather service is all they could find in the in the Dallas Morning News today. National weather service says that it's not that they won't be going into work at their paychecks will be paused on Monday. And that, you know, however, many days they're going to have their paychecks on pause, but they'll still be able to come in at work. Now, let me actually let me say something, I'm not ripping on the national weather service because I appreciate them very much. In fact, we're a national. We are the official national national weather service station for DFW. I'm proud of that. Except when they come in on my show. While they're at while. I'm on the year other than that. I'm proud of that. But they they will still go to work. They just won't get their paychecks for however long the government shuts down eight hundred two eight eight WBZ is our number eight hundred to eight eight nine two two seven. Now, we need to weather down here. They just tweeted out something today about a strong storm system approaching the region during the middle of next week. So are they no longer going to tweet does that mean, we won't have tweets? I mean, well, the national weather so this under the government shutdown in DFW will they actually actually actually. No longer tweet their forecasts, which which is a pretty serious concern. Isn't it? Rick in Sherman has a very very valid question. Ricky live on the Chris krok show on WBZ AP. Hello, sir. Merry christmas. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you. Because I won't get to talk to you before. Then. Anyway, you know, this is really a great thing. First of all, they really don't shut down the weather service because they do all the airports, but to be realistic about it. Won't that stop global? Warning. If they shut down the way, the national weather service, if I think what you're saying is because I I did say I did report correctly a few minutes moments ago that if this government shutdown happens it a couple of hours that we will actually the weather will stop. So we will have no weather. Yeah. And the weather means no global warming. You know, I knew that. There was some kind of a silver lining on this cloud and Rick in Sherman. I think you found it tonight. Oh, of course. I mean, no global warming climate change because you won't be any climate because there's no Weser. Okay now. Now, you're talking now, you're talking now, you giving me a reason to say this shutdown can be a good thing. Oh, it's definitely a good thing regardless to what shutdown Rick merry Christmas. You too. Eight hundred two eight eight WBZ AP is our number eight hundred two eight nine two two seven I say shut it down. But I say shut it down. Not with a the knee jerk. Half-cocked? You know, I say shut it down as in. It's all we got and the Democrats are taking over next year. So do it now. Do it. Now. So shutdown. It's only like what twenty five percent of the budget. Did you know that seventy five percent of the budget has been allocated already? It's already been locked and loaded and pass. So it's not going to be shut down. Only twenty five percent nothing serious. We'll be shut down that I'm aware of in any way, shape or form. So I do say shut it down, by the way. Guys. I am still a disgusted. I'll just say mildly. But I'm still disgusted with Trump. Saying slats are the design of our steel slat barrier. I just wanted to be honest with me did did did did he say the word steel say the word slat up until about a week ago. I will take it. You know, what I love to is you need to know this. I mentioned this yesterday which Trump could have gotten twenty billion dollars for the wall in February.
