"Surprises me that it you know, we're actually seeing activity on a summer day in August Yeah, well it is a down day and volume does tend to pick up on down days So it's the it's the slow melt up that detracts very little volume. What's another one? I was just looking back at the decline advanced line almost six stocks down for everyone that is higher on the New York Stock Exchange The broadest sell -off since late April We should point out that we are seeing some modest buying into the clothes But not enough to sort of overcome the big losses from earlier in the day I think probably one of the more noticeable Notable developments here at least when it comes to the technical levels for the S &P 500 Is that it looks like we're gonna get a close below that 50 -day moving average It would be the first time that we've closed above below that line. Excuse me, since once again a late March 51 52 points lower on the S &P 500 4 ,000 437 and change as we wait for the numbers to settle down 1 .2 percent the Dow Jones Industrial average down 360 points below 35 ,000 down a percent on the day the NASDAQ composite lower by about a hundred fifty seven points or one point two percent and the Russell 2000 Stopped me if you've heard this before down one point two percent. Well, yeah, so across the board as you guys mentioned earlier So I'm just gonna go back that come over to your side 42 names only in the S &P 500 scarlet actually gaining ground 461 to the downside So really broad -based selling here and let's take a look at the sector breakdown because it's a pretty straightforward breakdown today Everything in the red Yeah pharma That's barely. I mean that's come on. Does it count? Embrace it.

"What's up everybody? This is Karrick with ACG and I'm here with Johnny. Yes, just Johnny for the podcast, the best gaming podcast. I think we're at 403. We're going to talk about Baldur's Gate. We're going to talk about compact podcast today. Yeah, and I told Silver I didn't know when this was going to start because I ended up having a meeting scheduled in the last couple days and sort of spaced until this morning. So I was just like, oh damn, I got to I got to do this. I got to do this meeting. So I didn't know what everybody's gaming schedule was. And I'm always a little nervous to like, I always feel like I'm putting people out even though I know you guys like coming on and I like doing it, but it's like, it's just like it might be five minutes late. Should we just not do it? It's such a weird thought process. Thank you everybody for showing up fighting dog $2. Super chat. Imagine Larry and getting a hold of Star Wars or Kotor. Yeah, yeah, we'll talk about that because we've both been playing a bunch of Baldur's Gate or Baldur's Gate as somebody called it. We've been playing some tell tales which we beat. We're doing some remnant Rem and Nant to Rem Nant as I used to call it remnant to. We're gonna talk about Starfield's future. I want to say thanks to everybody who showed up in the last couple of days. Got 60 ,000 new subscribers. Absolutely appreciate it. Channels been booming and one of the major booms I was telling people the discord was the podcast. An old podcast caught on because it was Starfield discussion and it got like 40 ,000 subscribers from a podcast. I was like, what is going on? People, people loving their Starfield man. Our fields like the future now that Baldur's Gate's out, right? People just move on. I'm just joking. They're just done. 50 500 ,000 people were playing that concurrently. Baldur's Gate. Did you see that? Whoa, that's insane. Second only in history Hogwarts in total players playing it. That is that's that's it. Baldur's Gate and Hogwarts. Those the one the one two punch of, of top steam charts. Congrats on one million subs. Thanks. In recent years. Ever, bro. Ever. Yeah, in in two days. Well, in one day, two days, you could say technically, right? I think of total playtime two or three. When did that come out for you guys? Friday? Baldur's or yeah, Baldur's Gate. Yeah. When did that come out? Baldur's came out yesterday. Okay, so dude, in two days, 500 ,000 people playing that game. And by the way, it deserves a million. Just saying it. Let's say it's been smashed. Somebody says, be sure to smash that thumbs up. Thank you very much. What's up, Ginger Prime? Make sure to check out his podcast and his does a bunch of stuff and his videos and his freak outs about Final Fantasy coming to the Xbox. I saw that just a couple days ago. I didn't realize he had tweeted me about it because I turned off Twitter DMS for a little while or alerts because I was reviewing Baldur's Gate. I was like, get away from me. Nobody talk to me. I wonder if he has a video on the new expansion for Final Fantasy. Did you see they announced the new expansion for next year? If it's something Final Fantasy, Ginger Prime's got a video on. Yeah, he's got it. Trust me. And probably prior to even I mean, I'm not I'm just guessing because I've never talked to him about it. But prior to most people knowing, he probably knows because he is like the Final Fantasy freak on the Internet, the freak. What's up, everybody? Remnant two game of the year? Question mark could be final Friday so I can play BG three all weekend. Should I buy Sekiro or Dark Souls two? Good question. The cure of Dark Souls two. We'll get some of these questions out of the way. We are a weird question. They're very different games. Come on, Silver, put your foot down. Put your foot down. Don't come on. I need your answer. Johnny, come on, put your foot down. If you like if you like deflecting gold secure. If you hate deflecting, don't buy secure. But also maybe don't buy Dark Souls two. There are other better games. It's not a bad game. Maybe. You know, there are other options out there. You guys know me, I'll put my foot down. And I'm gonna put my foot down right now for sure. Sekiro. Try Sekiro first. And the reason why is because if you can play security, you can play Dark Souls. But if you play Dark Souls and you jump into Sekiro, they do play distinctly differently. And Sekiro requires more when it comes to the back and forth of it. So I would say try Sekiro first. If you can dive into it, you could also do Dark Souls first as some kind of primer for Sekiro. But man, I know a lot of people that did not work for where they were like, they're not. Yeah, they by the way, someone said that was a deflecting answer. Yeah, it was. It was. But that's all right. We've got one silver style answer. Each podcast is how we'll end up doing it. So on that topic, though, do you remember when Neo came out? That was the experience I got. I was like I was used to Dark Souls and those slower games or like methodical reactive gameplay. You go into Neo, man, and you just you get smoked. I remember DMing was like, dude, what's up? I can not beat this guy. And it was one hundred and fifty seven fights. And my wife was so mad. She was like, turn the music off. I'm so tired of hearing this guy announce himself. And I was like, it's time we're going. I wasn't even mad. I was like, it was a good fight. But boy, was I getting smoked. I was just I was just not doing it right. Let's see. Let's move it. Skip straight to Elden Ring. It's everything for. Oh, no, I wouldn't say skip. Personally, I wouldn't say skip to Elden Ring because Dark Souls and Sekiro have a base construction that is easier. Appreciated. Not easier. Appreciated. I don't want to say that, but I think in reverse it would. You wouldn't appreciate Dark Souls and Sekiro as much if you did Elden Ring. That's me. In a way, like this three is kind of pretty easy to parse. Agreed. Yeah. Compared because Elden Ring, even though they have a lot of accessibility stuff, it's a bit overwhelming. Like, whoa, OK, there's so much going on. Takes you a while to. Yeah. Hey, what's up, ACG? Love your stuff. Thank you very much. Died one hundred and thirty times. The first Neo2 boss. How so? Hey, how what's going on, man? How's been around forever? Sorry. Yeah, dude, that's that's what I'm talking about. That's exactly who I'm talking about. And I was doing the review and you couldn't hire souls. I was unconnected from the Internet. So it's just by myself. You're on your own, man. Yeah. It's just like the guy with the bones, right? Yeah. And I remember telling I remember telling you guys also on another game remnant to where I was like, this is the hardest when because they hadn't balanced it right there in the first reviewer patch. And I was getting my I was just getting smoked. And I was like, oh, are my skills because you always hear the story. When you get older, your skills go down. That may be true. I'm not saying I'm in reverse, but I do think that I look at experiences with prior games. You take them in. And so maybe use a little experience instead of a fast reflex for something. So I've actually only got better. So I was this was the first time those two games was where I was questioning myself. I'm like.

Chiefs vs. Chargers: Kansas City Defense Looking Weak Ahead of Sunday's Game

"All right folks will this next game that we've got Is going to be against our division rivals. The kansas talk Yeah so let's take a look at a couple of games for them. Their first game of the season was against the cleveland browns. That's who they played in the playoffs last year Let's see patrick. Mahomes put up over three hundred and thirty yards three touchdowns in that game Tyreek hill almost got two hundred yards. Goodness gracious On that game with a touchdown. And travis kelsey seventy six yards with two touchdowns so clearly we know who favor targets are guys from that game tyreek hill and travis kelsey They were pretty comparable as far as their stats go. Cleveland was able to put up a four hundred fifty seven yards. That's a big difference I think the big thing here is the rushing yards in this game in the next game. They they've put up very few rushing yards and they put up seventy two their week. One game against the browns. They put up sixty two week. Two against the ravens. So i'll and then the ravens put up to fifty and the browns put up one hundred fifty three so just looking at this and how close these games are this. Kansas city chiefs team is defense. Isn't what he was no. You can clearly see that. And i'm looking at these stance here. It looks like against baltimore. Game tyreek hill only got fourteen yards leagues. What happened here. So they've they've shut them down. While i think that's you know we put this in here to just show the fact that if we can lockdown kelsey and hill and just moderately. Stop the run. I think we're going to have a good chance and we just need to score touchdowns like you're gonna have to score thirty to beat these

"You. Bastards lay leave. Britney spears alone right now a minute anyone who has a problem with are you with me. Because she's not well right now. I'm good good anyways. Kanye west put out an album. I had heard he was putting out. But i did not know when it came out but apparently called donde which i believe was his mother's name. If i remember correctly apparently it has a lot of songs on it. Because apparently i just found this out this morning twenty. Three of the songs landed on the billboard. Hot one hundred. So i thought i thought i read that incorrectly. So i'd like did a double take and i was like. Oh maybe they mean twenty three hundred and his whole career. I mean twenty three hundred twenty three on the top one hundred in his whole career. I was like oh. That makes sense. And i was like wait. I look back down. I read it again. I said don to twenty three songs. I say what the hell hummy songs on this album. And why yawkey pipe in this man up. I know twenty. Three songs shouldn't have been on the top one hundred. I mean unless he made a thirty five album psalm. Forty song then. Manchin Won't Support $3.5T Reconciliation Package

"This week we've got the reconciliation process proceeding in congress. And it's not going well so far for the democrats. Joe mansion is pretty much laid down the gauntlet. He's not gonna go along with the three point five trillion dollar package at the white house and house. Democrats and senate democratic leaders want. He's said the could go along with something like one point five trillion which is according to mine a loss fifty seven percent. I'm going to break in here often. You your characterization of things not going well for democrats. It's not going well by the standards of the political media that if if democrat. I don't play the second second you're talking about. But you're talking about the reconciliation process. Not going well. So let's stick to the process and you're using a standard that they don't get the three point five trillion dollars. It'll be victory for the republicans to defeat for the democrats. The negotiations really are just starting in earnest and if mansion has already saying he could support up to one point five trillion. Then it's possible. I would say. Probably even likely that he'll end up somewhere between two trillion and two point five trillion way short of the three point five trillion but nevertheless a historic spending

The only consequence of being flagged for this extra scrutiny ended up being that they're checked bags were held off the plane until it was confirmed that they had boarded three of the hijackers set off metal detectors and had extra screening before boarding the plane. The screeners didn't resolve. What set off the alarms and allowed the hijackers to board the plane anyway and this seems unthinkable today and the reason that it seems unthinkable today is because we have all been flying in recent years in a post nine eleven world and i think this is one moment to kind of flag as a way in which our our everyday lives substantially changed after nine eleven when you read about the way security was conducted. "The gaming banned for minors in china. Now obviously it's a little bit more complicated but it's also not entirely unexpected this new law supersedes twenty nine thousand nine rules that allowed ninety minutes per day and forbade playing between ten pm and eight. Am with the justification back then being that well kids shouldn't be playing too many video games and they shouldn't be up late such that will affect their schooling. Which is i mean fair enough. But whether that is the rule of the state or the role of the parent is something that i think a lot of people would disagree about The twentieth nineteen measures also limited minors monthly spending on games to a maximum of fifty seven. Which appears to be unchanged. This new policy also enforces a policy requiring game companies to require players. Real names when logging it. I mean imagine. Imagine having imagine giving up your minor data protection laws in order to make sure that those miners who companies are now by law collecting information from are not playing too many video. Know good observation as well. I don't think. I could have put it better myself now to be clear. There's nothing that the chinese government can do to prevent minor from playing a single player game completely disconnected from the internet. If there was. I'm sure they would be trying to figure out how to do that. In fact my understanding is that functionality. Like that could end up being baked into game platforms like the chinese version of steam. So that if you are playing a single player offline game Could theoretically be enforced. But my understanding is there's no actual enforcement or attempt to enforce any kind of rule like that. Creating the Oxford English Dictionary

"London physiological logical. Society is the oldest organisation in great britain dedicated to the study of language formed in eighteen. Forty two one of their first objectives was to create a list of the deficiencies of the english language by eighteen. Eighty four they had hatched the idea of creating a new dictionary. That would solve the problems. They saw in current dictionaries. The process of whoever was incredibly slow. It took until eighteen fifty seven to establish a committee to create a list of unregistered words. These are words that weren't in current dictionaries or were poorly defined. If this had been the extent of what the illogical society had done. I wouldn't be doing an episode about this. The man who headed up. The committee was richard chenevix-trench. Trench was an interested in just coming up with a list of unregistered words. His ambition was much greater the report he produced with something else entirely. His report was titled on some deficiencies in our english dictionaries. It detailed all of the problems with current english language dictionaries in the nineteenth century. He noted problems. With the lack of coverage of obsolete words histories of words synonyms of words in poor examples and illustrations of words. What trench propose wasn't just a dictionary like the society had considered in the past. Trench was proposing writing the dictionary the most comprehensive dictionary of the english language. It wouldn't just be a list of words but of all of the words no longer in use and the history of all the words and where they came from. This would be a massive massive undertaking in eighteen fifty-eight the illogical society formerly called for the creation of a new dictionary which they called a new english dictionary on historical principles. First order of business was hiring someone to be the editor. Trench wasn't able to take on the assignment. As he was appointed the dean of westminster abbey. The job fell to herbert coleridge. Coleridge was only twenty nine. When he was appointed in eighteen sixty he created the outline in strategy for the entire project. He began the system to categorize the hundreds of thousands of quotes which would be required.

"Okay thomas lou. Summer hater. here's a scenario. I wake up in the morning. I'm preparing to go on an afternoon bike. Ride on my hog around the city. Check my weather app for the forecast. It's hot you know. Say about eighty-five but manageable and the humidity is like fifty seven percent. Let's say does that. Mean i'm still going to have like a nice bike ride or sort of. It's a little hard to hell with just humidity. Okay but humidity is telling us how much water is in the air. Right right right so yes. Here's where it gets a little bit tricky to understand this. We need to consider a couple of things watering the air temperature and how these to interact with one another okay so i caught up someone. I thought might have some answers. I am greg jenkins. i'm a professor. In department of meteorology and atmospheric sciences at penn state university in greg explained relative humidity like this relative humidity is ratio or percentage of water vapor over a term that is related to order vapor in a saturated state. Okay okay so. I'm going to oversimplify here. But relative humidity is the moisture content in the air compared to the maximum moisture content. That could be in the air totes. That's why it's called relative humidity. It's not an absolute measure of moisture. Greg says a key factor in relative humidity is air temperature. You know the number we usually look at when describing if it's going to be hot or cold out. Dre warmer air can contain more moisture while cooler air can contain less moisture. So over the course of a day if you just had the amount of water vague bernie atmosphere sixth and you let the temperature run. Its normal course. The relative humidity would go up and down just based on

W asked me a math question. I'm like that too. So dora joe. I guess there won't be any math in this program. Thank god has. I was told there would be no mass okay. This one's be a little funding for you. You were on the infomercial for the runco. Rotisserie set it and forget it. Yes and the reason i was on that is because i was working in the newsroom at the time and one of the things i wanted to do was how to figure out how to get free stuff so i thought i created this segment where i would test out infomercial products and see if they really promised to be what they were supposed to be and the thing was. I already had the ronco showtime rich history and barbecue. Which is what. It's what it's called 'cause and i was in love with that thing i used to. Actually i cook a lot to bring it to my friend's house and cook dinners for them on this. I would bring it with me. And so i.

"Growing up and mike went. Went when honest was shit like like. My mom was very Very protective issues so social certain things. But like i knew who i was and i knew about back the fuck up back in the day like they had had like gulick lectureship as roma's where that the teacher has backed the fuck up as jo. I want to back the hookup. T shirt unom amount would like never let me have that so light. So they they did like a like a like a like edited version of the hookup t shirts. You'll still want that. Mother fucking t shirts there was. It was so cool back. The bulk up your. I know what that book i knew. It was m so educate. Would you say your question. What was said so like so what was what was bullying like for you in school. bullying for me was was different. i got bullied more when i went to the school. I told you it was more like lean on me. Most because i was like i was church. Kid mothers a pastor. My grandfather's deacon. So i grew up in church so like when i go to public school when i went from amityville to inch which is totally different school It was i. I had to grow up a little bit more like i learned more about gang culture when i went to that other school till i was like. Okay now i get it boom like it was at the height of like bloods and crips having that truce so like i you know i learn more about what was going on like. I found out what we'd smell for the first time as i smoke a revolt. What does it mean like you know. It was a different culture shock for me so like bullying me back then was like the kids calling me and not only that. I was horrible at sports. Like i was really bad. Like you know what. We'll have a dad. Does you know you don't have like a father figure in your life to show you how to play sports like i was horrible so in gym class was not not my best and like i would always try my hardest but i wasn't good. It wasn't until i left that school district. Go to another one. That i got to reinvent myself. You know what i mean so like. Even when i was at school. I learned how to toughen up so i didn't curse what started going to that school. I went to school when i was fifth grade. I didn't curse at all by the tunnel from fifty seven. At the time. I was in seventh grade. I was cursing at every month. Fuck out like. I was like complain like y'all with y'all not going to diss me like i got a backbone. I'm talking back yet. i'm going to do nothing to me. You know i'm fighting scrapping. Whatever you gotta do like a. I'm here before it's.

"I mean as you know there are a million sleep. Sounds now on exaggerating. But there's a lotta sleep sounds on on unlucky alexa now. So that's a pretty big claim to fame. I think that's pretty cool. You're the very first you or the. Oh gee you're the number one sleep sound very cool and so you created this whole business around multiple sleeps downs and so you've got you've got tons now like what are some of the sounds of people can listen to you. Yeah so we're up to believe ninety four sounds now Ranging from you know things like rain ocean waves thunderstorms to kind of the more obscure things like a dishwasher or dryer or a farm. You know Yeah people people request all kinds of different sounds and it really. It depends on where people grow up like. Someone grew up on a farm and they fell asleep to like cows mooing. Then those are the sounds that they request that they fall asleep to more easily So we we try to we. We tried to basically tally all different. Sound requests that we get over the years and figure out what people want most in create those curious like what you mentioned like dishwasher is that is that the most obscure one of the other ones that are really really obscure scared. Ho gosh there are there are some others No we have the sound of snoring That was that was released recently. And that was actually one of our most popular requests because folks will say oh. My partner is gone on a business trip and i can't fall asleep without their snoring. Just like it's crazy but it's really cool in getting feedback from customers saying that are sounds. Help them fall asleep Really fulfilling

"The pursuit for food has taken us into the wilderness across rivers and atop mountains. These journeys have connected us to the wild. It is this connection that allows us to experience the wild places. This world has to offer in search for both wild game and adventure. This is my adventure for food. My name's tyler. "Come upon a couple in like this weird room fucking whatever they do they just walk in the do smile and say hey what's up and at one point side this. This thing is also noise so the is typical college party for some reason. These college kids all go along with the fact that this one dude wants to play seventy five. Because that's a game. All college kids want to play. They wanna stop there drinking and drugging and instead they wanted to play a fucking game. They play when they were eight years old. Now here's an important factor. Need to interject when they start playing this game at this point. Technology advanced point where you can block your number from being seen by the other line so they told everybody before you call somebody and mess with them. You have to hit star six seven which will block number and what was pretty cool. Is these little sick. Fucks came up with some pretty good ideas of what they were talking about. I mean that wasn't too bad. They were talking about. You know you had to see it to believe it. You know it's pretty cool but there's always but one dumb ass who does come into focus later in this one. I believe is named scott. Scott scott was the fuck up. He made his phone call. But didn't dials star sixty seven nope so this genus motherfucker gives their position away. Because what happens later during fuck fest. Two thousand seven as i call it. 'cause everybody in the house of course departs to their corners and everybody starts fucking keeps ringing because the guy called back a few times and then they were arguing threatening and all this shit so they hung up. The phone keeps ringing. Everybody's ignoring it. Finally bimbo as i call her bimbo barbie. I don't even know which one of the characters she is answers. It and just fucks it up for everybody by giving out the edges corinna. Yes because she. The gown of line says they. I'm pizza guy. I need the address dropout pizza. Well see what stupid is. Nobody makes pizza without an address. I so she didn't bite to that they looked around. They're already half eaten pizzas. Everywhere are like oh shit now knows where they are so it's was pretty stupid so now now finally finally it fifty seven minutes. Let's not forget the fact that the that the guy that's got called actually apparently was in the middle of a murder and was actually committing the murder on the phone which is why yes to keep hounding them because he wanted to play a game with them. Thank you once again sir. Yeah so you right. So fifty seven fifty seven minutes bimbo barbara. Who screwed it up for everybody. No sorry. fifty fifty seven roundabout fifty seven. Yep she walks in What happens is the guy the quote unquote acts ruling pizza. Man the doorbell and she goes to answer it. And sorry okay. so that wasn't corinna bimbo barbie. Who cares at this point because it's awesome. Because she walks up there and whammo she opens the door and not even a second later..

"I wanna play out is in this top row if i have money in a roth. Ira so this column right here. The first one on the left. I can contribute to a roth. Ira rule that to a roth. Ira but can't move to a traditional or simple or sad or four fifty seven or even designated roth 401k. I can't rule that anywhere except into another roth. Ira now on the other side there. If i go to the my very bottom i'll see designated raf. I can rule that from a that roth account to a roth. Ira but not a traditional symbol or staff or fifty-seven etcetera. But i can roll it over to this last one here. The another designated roth account so i can rock 401k to rot 401k on but only in the case of a direct trustee to trustee transfer so. I have to move it from that account to another account. I can't touch it now. This is where we started getting some complex items where we have to talk about it to play on and make sure that we're not going to accidentally violate these rules. But i'm going to jump into our second category on this char. Can i just interrupt for one second here. Well what would be a situation where i want to move money out of a roth and back into pretax account. I can't but what would be a situation in which i would. I would desire to do that. The only desire i can think about that would be if i m going to incur or one income at some point in time and when we want they have income we'd be items such as charitable donations on the beginning on pretax basis. A lot of my clients have very heavily funded roth accounts. We'll go back and put funds into the traditional account just the later on. They know that they get towards retirement. Taking that senate. But i'm gonna leave that over to charity. Okay but so. Yeah so we're just talking about the concept of flexibility with this but it seems to me that the goal in a general sense with with limited specific exceptions is to get as much money into the roth. Ira in the end state as possible. That yes okay. Theoretically yes nine percent of the time. We're gonna want those raw phones. Now there's going to be situations though as as we running to contribution limits or higher. Earning years where. I'm gonna wanna into a raw into for traditional so i can lower my tax burden. You'll get customer of fresh whole. I want to put into a traditional ira or four one k..
