The Case Of Chad And Lori Daybell

"Dick I feel like we've kind of been just living this case the last several days there's so much that we had to delve into. So let's just start with an overview of the timeline going back to the beginning because it's very complicated and as much for me as for the listeners a little review and a little in-depth investigation into these things would be helpful both helpful the me. We did last week's first part of this and I'm just at the time you do it do the recording. It sounds reasonable. Then as I think back about it, I'm trying to say what happened when who did what? So. This'll be very helpful. It's a crazy thing and of course, with the tragic ending, which is horrible. So. Let's go back to Chad Day Bell. He married his first wife Tammy in nineteen ninety and they had five children together over the years in Nineteen ninety-two Laurie got married for the first time at age eighteen and this marriage only lasted a very short time under a year from what I've heard. Then she remarried in nineteen ninety five and that's when she gave birth to her son Colby in nineteen, ninety six. Again, she got divorced then in two, thousand one, she married Joseph Ruin and Laurie and Joe had their daughter Kylie together in two thousand and two, and just a little bit of a word about Tyler's childhood. We we know that she was used as a pawn by Laurie and her divorce custody filings against Joe Ryan. But there's also some evidence fairly convincing evidence that Laurie mains have had Munchausen by proxy pilot who's in and out of the hospital many times, and she even had exploratory surgery to quote figure out what was wrong unquote and that's something that just. Really isn done nowadays, right? No, it isn't that if we go back a few years that was something I mean if if you have parent who keeps bringing a child into the office bureau for various complaints and you have run tests and nothing ever shows up, you might have considered doing an exploratory bit of surgery as probably a what's called a lap me. Where they look inside the the belly at the F. Domino contents and maybe take biopsies just to see if there was something that they had missed Leah from my experience on a pediatric surgical floor though they only do that when they're like at the end of their rope, this is after days of observing taking the kid off of a regular diet doing. IV fluids run, they do a lot of things I and the munch just love to hang out in the room for days and get the attention. So this is very classic Munchausen by proxy behavior who certainly is yet it really is and no illness was ever determined, which is significant I think road even with the surgery. Yes. So so there you go. Exactly. Nine, two, thousand when Tyler was about six, her therapist raised concerns about the stress Tyler was going through with her health issues and the custody issues. Tally, did say to the therapist that she did enjoy visits with her father. There were documented concerns about Laurie being dishonest on Tyler's intake forms. One of these things whereas where Lori said, the tally had pancreatitis. The custody documents I was able to peruse showed that Kylie did say she enjoyed visits with her father but then she told the therapist that she was frightened to stay overnight because her father molested her now she used the word molested and when her mom came into the room with her and the therapist apparently tie looked at Lori and said I, told her. So it just really I'm not convinced that Joe sexually abused tightly and I'll always believe someone until I have reason not to especially a child but there were some classic signs of the Mother Coaching her. So in two thousand, four, Laurean Joe were divorced and Laurie remarried Charles Valo in two, thousand six. Now for those of you who are counting Charles's husband number four. Yes, and in two thousand, twelve, a little boy named Joshua. Jackson was born he's he's the biological child of Charles Valez nephew his grandparents cared for jj until they made the decision along with Lori and. Charles that Lori Charles would adopt and raise JJ, and this was back in two thousand fourteen. Laurie already had colby and entirely. So the grandparents K. and Larry Woodcock were really thinking that they might have a better home there because there'd be other kids. It's kind of their little bit younger than Larry and K. so laurie who they thought was just a wonderful mom. At, the time agreed to adopt the little boy with Charles and then Laurie Charles entirely moved to Hawaii along with JJ services in two thousand fourteen when the adoption went through the options gone through and we've Kurt the family now lorries. Oldest son is what out of the house at this point because he's like eighteen nineteen, he didn't move to Hawaii with them now. He didn't in two thousand fifteen back to Chad, Tammy and the family moved to Idaho from Utah Right, in two years later, the veil of family moved back to Arizona, from Hawaii then on April third two, thousand, eighteen lorries, ex husband, her third husband Joseph Ryan was found dead in his home Laurie was notified as she was still listed as his next of kin. Didn't notify Joe's sister Anne who by all accounts she was very close to Anne was still a part of tiles life, your birth Maurice to ruin agenda Yes. I know we've talked about this a little bit in part one, but you did get a chance to review the autopsy. They were a few things that stuck out to us like the fact that the height was off and they call them a heavyset guy which he really wasn't. No. But remember he was in his apartment for at least a week decomposing before anyone found was a neighbor who found him that's correct. Yes and we don't have the entire autopsy but the cause of death was per tiriac sclerotic heart disease, which means that you're coronary arteries getting clogged up, which isn't really crazy for a fifty nine year old man to die of in general but

Mexico reopens economy after two-month COVID-19 lockdown

"Take you to Mexico now the country looks set to Paul's ten thousand deaths from corona virus this is the second highest toll in Latin America off to Brazil the authorities recognize that Mexico is now at the peak of the pandemic never the less they'll gradually reopening the country from today the first of June this week to journalists on a government level house in Mexico City M. what Mexicans think then of the idea to start of starting to ease the look down on the camera when the peak of the pandemic is is ongoing in the country Hey when Mexicans are deeply divided about these government decision many are uncertain the relief that the economy is re opening because more than half of the population making a living in the informal sector and do not have a fixed salary so for them this lockdown has been especially hard but on the other hand there is another part of the population which stinks that easing the lockdown is very contradictory since specially now the corona virus is spreading really quick so these people are worried a friend even more sharply increase of the cases and the I W. I had the flu shot and this is what he told me the decision for re opening Mexico is being taken since its economy won't receive a long time to slow down situation however for a successful re opening the publishers should be should commit themselves to to be respectful of the measures required to control the street of the disease we are not sure if the city will be possible in Mexico so it's highly improbable to see a rise in the number of cases during the next days there is the after re opening challenging the out by the media and the extremely health services it's what every country is bouncing right then our public health versus the need to get the economy back running again so so what changed what we see today Mexico in terms of using the lock down the economy will be allowed to resume operations and that's the government's case it would be done gradually and the friendly in each part of the country for example in Mexico CD that so far has been dead the epicenter of the pandemic the schools we continue to be close but the construction will be respected also restaurants would be allowed to operate that thirty percent of their capacity be a production so will be respected and the seas has been particularly because of the debate since the government has considered it an essential activity so we should point out that Mexico in Mexico the lockdown has a strong get western he advised by the government and imposing some places such as schools and working centers but not to the general population so Mexico is a country of many different realities and some people carry out on working through all this time and somehow stop the work depending on how old they are absolutely it's the same the world over isn't it is is there any clear idea then why we're looking at the situation in Mexico with a maternity right from corona virus is so hard to just behind Brazil's when the mentality rate is really high he did so one of the highest in the region G. journey so nine point eight percent on the Alberta check over that of the people is fifty nine years so is leading junk considering like comparing to other countries especially in Europe so expressing that the reason behind east another up and then make a **** the country before the coronavirus which is over sixty Mexico with the U. S. is one of the countries with the highest number of obese people in the world and that conditions comes with other related problems such as diabetes and hypertension so according to though W. it show this contributes to higher rates of CDS complications from cardiac thank you for joining us on Capitol hasta Tony is live from Mexico City

"It's an incredible thing to watch this everything was baked into the cake before this even started today I mean come on let's just because let's just be fundamentally honest and truthful here everybody is in their positions they have hardened their positions in some cases to a cook degree that you're not going to move the needle and the very fact that we have yet now what what you will begin to hear the fiftieth our sixtieth seventy of our of these hearings the fact that we are this far into these hearings and we still don't have a fact witness will have somebody who is actually a witness able to give testimony to what it was that happened is remarkable we don't have our charmelot the the whistleblower we don't have and one of the fact witnesses what we don't have Minkow we don't have anybody we have law professors and I believe I believe I think law professors are absolutely fascinating they've got opinions they've got thought stated they are very much in legal like economists when they come and tell you what it is that needs to happen how we fix the cicada however since I got it all no I have a paper that I wrote and it's really quite something these these law professors and let's be honest all four of the more liberal Jonathan Turley slightly less liberal and I like Jonathan Turley a lot I've been a fan of his since our at least the Clinton impeachment I've been a fan has I think he's an interesting thoughtful guy he's calm he's not like about to have his eyeballs explode out of his head with rage like Carlin was he he he's not a guy who looks like he's part of a hostage tape as as Noah Feldman was he's a calm cool collected do and and he's sitting there trying to tell you what it is it's happening and what is happening is we are rushing to an impeachment on a partisan basis in a in a very close time frame and it's being done because you still have people three years later who cannot get over the fact that Hillary Clinton wasn't just defeated the ballot box but was fundamentally rejected rejected by the American people as as if to say can't stand you get out don't ever run again we don't like you those of us in America can't stand you that was really what we kind of so I'm kinda had I mean it's it's an amazing thing and they will not accept the results of the election and I and I get it right because if I'm Pamela Carlin who today was there for a very specific greed is she is she gave you she was ever very specific reason Pamela Carlin was there because she was auditioning for Elizabeth Warren's nomination to the Supreme Court to replace the relic Ruth mater Ginsberg that was her job so she came in she checks all the crazy whack job liberal diversity boxes she's angry she is a hateful towards trump she made a joke about Barron trump name whoa made fun of his name Hey Pamela Barron trump is probably worth four hundred times what you are and and he has even inherit anything yet but that's okay okay I I just found it so interesting to watch Noah Feldman the new Jack on the block and to watch Gerhardt or whatever his name was he he he's a a guy who's like vaguely intrigued and then you had I am a lot garland Carlin Amalek Carlin who who when I first looked up I thought it was David Brenner anyways Hamel of Carlin is sitting there and she's testifying she's angry and she hates Donald Trump and you want to watch it's Donald Trump go look around go look up on wiki eagle look around on Stanford's a law school website she was an administration official for Barack Hussein Obama ice icing the guy that did the questioning for Jerry Nadler as his counsel he worked for Barack Obama as his ethics czar who knew they had one who do they have one with the IRS targeting the gun walking scandal at okay but I digress what was so amazing about this hearing today I'll take your phone calls if you want to weigh in at eight hundred seven sixty KFMB eight hundred seven sixty five three six two what struck me was I'm watching these people know what Feldman god love you Pamela Carlin home my gosh and a Gartner Gartner girl Gerber baby food a he's just such an our market okay and they're quoting eloquently governor Miller is sin and and of course at George Mason and let's quote how moved in and let's quote Matt is sitting at let's quote Jeffers in and let's when did the laugh rediscover the founding fathers I thought they hated them I thought they were racist and bigoted and white man who deserves to have their statues torn down and melted down and turned into a statue stop now somebody tell me when when did these leftists suddenly rediscover the magic of the founding fathers wanted a re discover the the magic the genius of the founders when did they rediscover the fact that these founders under stored what what needed to happen they understood these were people wiser than Austin Opheim that left us a road map to remove a president you people hate the founders Hey you see the squad Nancy Pelosi shift the shift Nadler every stinking rotten member of the democratic caucus today assembled in Washington DC despises the founding fathers they have made that abundantly clear they're tearing their statues down there renaming the schools there painting over murals in San Francisco they're doing all these things right the founders of the evil is the most bad people awful people except when it advances aid eight a Marxist communist style could a top the most remarkable thing for me today watching this hearing was this the Democrats were able to it lasted dies themselves enough to try to harness the magic of the founders and suddenly became absolutely committed anti Soviet when did that happen I feel like I woke up like I woke up from a dream I'm looking at these liberals and I'm like number one you don't believe in any of the original as some of the founding fathers you don't believe in a single bit of it you're the people go on TV and say there were racist people want to dig up Thomas Jefferson and Bernie's remains I me Gerhard's home from the university with your lover risible guard from the university of Carolina Carl and I'm from Stanford University I know a phone but I'm from I'm from home don't you know I know so much that's amazing I just want I just want to know I I mean this is now going to be a thing I mean I would love to see somebody question these candidates are out there that have entered are you good with the founding fathers can you tell us what you think about the federalist papers please I just couldn't believe it I could I could we buy yours they were burning the hypocrisy was so thick they they were they were burning but one thing is is is abundantly clear these people need to keep coming out in public and talking and yelling at the American people and telling us how dumb we are tell telling us what losers we are telling us why we don't understand how the system is supposed to work if I understand because they are imbued with wisdom and knowledge and good stuff and you just have to realize if we could only set off our constitutional Republic and have at the top of that the power structure being Elizabeth Warren for president or crazy Bernie Sanders for president or or core cricket Joe Biden for present we just put them in there and then take all these law professors and could make them the advising body like like the priestly class of the ancient world we would be fine you you were off the ends you ne'er do wells you don't need you don't need freedom and liberty you need wisdom and we have it because we go to Harvard Stanford University North Carolina law school that's it we have it all you don't know anything you east county rubes out in Juliet and Ramona and how mobile what do you think you now you know no we're sophisticated we actually vacation in Europe and no actually your Boone singing it's so funny to me because all of these theories in judicial expositions and do you know of course the high crimes and misdemeanors hi modifies not just our crawl but hi also modifies misdemeanors going back you know it's very ironic thing but but it was a lot of times you actually would actually be able to say high crimes and high misdemeanors well we're getting high my big take away from watching this today was how these four people given the opportunity and I Jonathan Turley put on a good show don't get me wrong I like it was a nice enough guy but how these these four people and I'll say three people just because we know the pinko commie leftist or up there if they had the single solitary power to remove Donald Trump themselves by a vote of three to one they would have done it these are not people who respect the constitution these are not people who respect the foundational beliefs and the truth of this nation because he is of the same idiots settle praise the founding fathers is all knowing and tell you there's no second amendment right there's no right to practice your religion understand that and I'm gonna tell you why we come back because it all comes down to roe versus Wade I'm Brent wonderful it is the brit Waterval show eight hundred seven sixty KFMB aims of a "Where back Dr Liederman talking about cancer. And you're on rounds. Cancer rounds learning by patient by examples of real people going through traumatic times difficult times. And we try to help everyone as best as we can send information see patients and offer treatment offer all the options that patients decide whatever treatment, they think is best for them where to get this. Call from Nancy, Nancy. How are you? I'm fine. How are you? A okay. What's your question today? Good. Well, I am a fifty nine year old woman. And I recently had occasion to have a pelvic. Ultrasound, which indicated that I have a thickening of my urine wall. Trio? Hyper pleasure. They called it. Of course, I googled it and nervous. I'm having the test on Monday. And I'm just wondering what they're really looking for in. What I might find out. It's happening with having a DNC on Monday. I'm having a I think they call it a s h I it's a saline injected examination of my uterus, and they will take a biopsy. If they see something that they can buy up the otherwise, I'll have for a biopsy at a future date. But I am let's talk about the let's talk about that got that. So the uterus the uterus is where babies grow so the and the sperm get together in the uterus. Into eater says two parts one is the muscle which expels the baby after. Nine months of just station. And then the lining of the uterus. Aligning of the uterus. Is what women menstruate every month every month? A woman gets a new lining in the old lining comes out. And that lining is where the fertilized egg implants itself. That's how it grows starts to grow. So that's the mechanism from when woman starts menstruating until menopause of the most common cancers of the uterus. Or not of the muscle muscle cancers happened in a called sarcomas, but they're not very common. What are more common or cancers of the lining of the uterus? And I guess you're asking me what are they looking for? They're probably looking for cancer of the lining of the uterus. Our endometrial cancer. I'm all I'm saying this all based on what what you're telling me without looking at any of the documents. So they're looking for that. And they're going to get some tissue. And they're going to look at it under the microscope of doctor called a pathologist who look at under the microscope, and he or she will then give a diagnosis and diagnosis will tell you. If there's cancer cells. There are no cancer cells there, there's no cancer cells. They're usually nothing further has done if there's cancer cells. They're usually a removal the uterus is recommended and depending on the kind of cancer, and how deep it's invaded and whether there's lymph nodes involved dictates whether there's other treatments that are given in addition to that surgery. He should know that most uterus and cancers most endometrial cancers are highly curable now for many women the warning sign again like we talked about earlier in the show is bleeding vaginal bleeding. So. Yeah. So because what you said you had an ultrasound. So that was different. But most women who have either and cancers and Dmitro cancers or have some blading postmenopausal bleeding, which can happen. And that's a warning sign so many ways lucky for female anatomy, that the uterus is open to the vagina. John is open. So women often have early warning signs, and that's very different than other cancers that are deep in the body like pancreas cancers, and others were there's often no warning signs. So what they're looking for. I guess they're looking for trouble. And hopefully, you won't have any trouble. And hopefully, you have good news. And you can celebrate and live a normal healthy life and lived to be hundred twenty. I think my question really to you is if they do find something that they're concerned another words cancer is that something that can be treated at your facility as opposed to a hysterectomy. Well, we do treat some women with uterine cancers instead of surgery thinking about a woman who came from southern jersey shed, two breast cancers, right and left breast cancer neutering cancer, and we treated her about a year ago, and she's actually in remission without any surgery. So canopy done. Yes. But let's take a step by step in your case. I suggest you have this procedure Monday. And then you can call us my office numbers two and two choices. It's easy to remember two one two two four six forty two thirty seven give me a call on my office. And let's speak about it. Probably at the end of the week. Sounds good. Doctor take you very good luck. God bless ya. I hope you have nothing. Thank you. Thing. Let's celebrate. Okay. Okay. Good night. Now. Thank you. God bless you. And by now. This is Dr Liederman about a man who came to us last year. He is seventy years old married with three kids does PSA went up some of the things that people worry about with PSA is not only if the PSA is very high. But if it's changing so this man had a very low PSA was two and a half and then went to three and a half and he had a biopsy which Gleason six cancer. I know a lot of people say, okay, we're not going to do anything below four PSA below four is okay. But in fact, you can have a man can have prostate cancer with a PSA of one or two or three all those numbers are less than four. Now. It's just the incidence. The likelihood of cancer increases with an increasing PSA so had a PSA of four chance of having prostate cancer is about twenty five percent with a PSA of ten chance of having prostate cancer is about thirty five percent with a PSA of twenty chance of having cancer is fifty percent. So man can pretty much. Figure out what his chance of having prostate cancer is based on those numbers. What he can't figure out is does he have cancer or not there's not a yes or no without a biopsy. So this man at a PSA that went from two and a half to three and a half. So he said well went up about fifty percent in one year. You gotta buy Gleason seven cancer. Normally, we don't do cat scans or bone scans. Or MRI is that situation because the likelihood of having cancer spread is so low he had.
