Kyle Rittenhouse's Reaction to Thomas Binger Attacking His Fifth Amendment Rights

"And obviously, you know, it was compelling to millions and millions of people because the more you talked, the more people like this is a normal kid who, you know, got caught into something that you don't even want to get caught into. And obviously defended yourself. And so you get up there and then binger starts to then go after your Fifth Amendment rights. Talk about that. So I was on the stand and bingers starts commenting on my post arrest silent. And I was like, what the I was like, this is basic middle school constitution test stuff. I know this stuff. You don't comment on a defendant's post arrest silence. I literally every TV show movie you have the right to remain it's the first thing to write against self incrimination. So what's going through your mind at that point? I mean, I'm like, did he really just go there? And I was, I was astonished. I was in shock. I don't know about you, how you were when you heard that. I was like, I was pretty verbal in the gallery. I was like, oh, come on. Because it was just appalling. And then the judge stepped up, who, by the way, the judge is being wrongly attacked as being on your side. He was on the side of the constitution. Exactly. Not your side, definitely not being your side, because binger is a crazy person. Because by the way, this judge is known for if you, you know, if the jury comes back with a verdict of guilty, he's known for being a harsh by the book. Sentencer. So talk about this. So then the judge intervenes and issues one of the most harsh condoms. What was going through your head at that point? It took a lot to hold back.

Maybe Joe Biden Was Smart to Pick Kamala Harris as VP

"EPO I always quarrel with people who say you know Biden stupid Biden stupid but not actually Biden may be the most maniacally smart politician we've seen in some time because he picked her I mean you think about it Clearly the man doesn't have his faculties He just turned 79 years old He can barely put together a coherent sentence because God knows what's going on in that adult brain of his And there's no I'm sorry There is no possible way he's running for reelection in 24 And people are already sort of like you know it's like what's the old Chris Rock joke when he would go into a neighborhood and people would pick up their phones and down 9 one and then just wait right People are just they're sitting there with their hand on the Twenty-fifth Amendment button Just waiting to push it because he's so close to just completely losing it in front of all of us And yet the one thing that is looming there The one major decision Joe Biden made before he was elected anything They always say the first most important decision of future president makes is who is running mate is going to be Who will be the vice president who does he pick Prices have gone up And families and individuals are dealing with the realities of that bread costs more the gas cost more She is the greatest presidential insurance policy of all time

"You're usually going to hit for average doesn't really matter about your exit velocity, which is not hi. Hard hit rate is actually above average. Well, just fine. Dr Stroke will serve him very well. Miguel Cabrera. My goodness, the 32 off the plate inside. That's a good advance. He's learned even without an increase in walks. He's definitely taken. Jimson closed Tuesday. Pitches in at bats that have resulted in him that you have been saying, Listen to me. He is recognizing pictures. He started recognized pitches a lot better. This year, and you don't see him go for many bad pitches he will once in a while, like everybody That's just part of the deal reaches for the third time today. That brings up Jonathan scope. Smeltzer Works third base out of the rubber flips over the first two. Dr Reyes back Omer, fifth round pick of the Dodgers. Four years ago out of Junior college in Houston, Texas, and then traded to the Twins in the Brian Dozier deal two years ago with the trade deadline. First pitch to Jonathan Scope, changeup low in a way 87 Tigers in the eighth, and they'd love to add on a couple more. McGill boy was waiting on deck scope is one for four today, double last inning, and he scored A big two out hit from Jamir Candelaria. Smelter sets takes a long look at Reyes that 10 swinging to drive into the left field corner. That one's deep on that one is one hop up against the wall over the wall. It'll be a ground rule double. Otherwise, Reyes almost surely would have scored from first, but it jumped up over the wall. Ground rule double puts runners at 2nd and 3rd for Miguel Cabrera. Another good stroke. I'm telling you, you pick you pick up this game in the sixth, and you see what the Tigers have done when they were trailing great at bats. Great at bats. Jimmy, get there! Get there pitches. Not missing it. They get hangers. They hit him. Maybe some good pitches. They hit him. There's another. A slider. Looks like it's supposed to be a slider. Our half of the plate got to extend your right if that ball bounces in there, there's AH doesn't bounce in. There's a run and he's at second base. That's just too bad. But you still got an opportunity with a big man coming up in another good swing. Late in the game. You love to see the swings get better, and that's what's happened with the Tigers all started with Cabrera's leadoff single in the sixth. So now Jim the last 18 batters, starting with that single, the Tigers nine hits, plus a walk in the last 18 trips to the plate with two home runs. Brera at the plate. Chance to break this thing. Open a little bit ground ball to the right side of the base hit into center field. Let's go to score. Two races in scope is in and the Tigers now with a 10 7 lead over the Minnesota Twins. That's the Hall of Famer. Swing, right? They're all speed pitch away. They knew how they were playing to the left side..

"I guess I wouldn't do it knowing that I'm not going to get I'm not gonna take a quarterback because after you get past eighty year old fifteen to twenty guys you're looking at a group of guys are about the same roughly and so I might as well wait because everybody can only take one quarterback anyway so so that's what I ended up doing I think I will I went you know good steak order say what you know what Myles Garrett I was trying to get the biggest difference makers that I could exclude all the media just kind of a silly exercise you're supposed to just assume you know the rest of your team is average other than your four guys but I I think I just I think that looking at the big picture a calculus actually gave I think that's you'll come across another argument that you could make in his case you're just looking at it from that perspective quickly with with other players are just surrounding the kettle thing I I look at this and I think what kind of slippery slope the NFL could get you killed was like no I'm a unique player what other type of truth about this yesterday what other athletes and players in the NFL are like that where you can see the impact the pass game the impact the Ranji maybe there's not which is why you're saying he would have been your first round pick but what other what other players in the NFL could argue that unique path because it's got to be somebody yeah not a running back receiver quarterback a feeling yeah I don't know that there is one I I I really don't I think I think if you're just looking at hide ads in general you would say okay who are the other tight ends in the league that are on the same same lake level as cattle I think the only other one that I would put in that group is Kelsey L. brought from here the city but you could make the argument that Kelsey is a better pass catcher I I don't I don't actually have a problem with that if you want to make that argument but I don't think Chelsea have nearly the impact that George Kittle dug in the ballgame now I think rob Gronkowski in his crime was probably in that conversation where you would say he's a dominant run blocker you know that they could use him in a way like the Niners use kit but again I think you're looking you're talking about a very unique player that is going to get paid that way because again you just you just can't find guys like that they don't grow on trees that especially when you we got such a great value in the first place with a fifth round pick there's got to be a little bit of a tax with that as well good stuff man it's always great catching up with you will be looking forward to that to that piece we we got a problem he taken care of but they're more local homers to sell telling me I will talk to you soon thanks as always stay safe yeah you guys to take forever you got there that make sure you check your check out making a film at Nick at in Wagner covers the United VS P. and it does a great job I want to finish up our conversation at the top of the hour because many male co wrote something plus I was scribbling things down as he was a talk in there she will finish up a night of conversation baseball could be back and there's an obvious middle ground looking into that at about noon only on these boards either your smart speaker is radio T. here Papa in London home just save your apple pie plate K. "Get in the guys they took and and J. three you gotta put Trent Williams and other great a little bit down sure I know it wasn't a drafted player but you gave up a fifth round pick in the future third round pick to get the guys so when you assess this draft plans I think you've got a clue to Trent Williams and I'm voting him rookie of the year right he's the offense of rookie of the year in the NFL well no I mean here's what I would look at it as their draft they got it they got killed off first they got to you in the first round as well to get D. four in the second round that was that pic they can Emmanuel Sanders for three and a four night a guy tweeted me when I tweeted this all out and that's an overpay if they're not going to the Super Bowl without that guy New Orleans Arizona games they win and he was a big part of it we give its goes in the fifth round around the play by play guy for West Virginia later on the show Trent Williams is part of the fifth round Charlie Woerner jawan Jennings are you gonna put forgot to put Williams you gotta you gotta put Sanders that that they use these resources to get those guys in and Sanders case yeah he's gone but it was a major reason why we were sitting in Miami total so that's a pretty good draft he won't put forty where the Superbowl winning catcher free of the ball was on you know on the spot there he ran the route to get wide open in the Superbowl could've won it for you it was it was depressing I would I watch I know we'll get a little bit later I was watching the last dance as ninety and I DVR it so my son can come over watch with me and I get done my flip I'm flipping channels again in the NFL network is replaying the Super Bowl and literally right when I hit it was right when they were come out of the basket was their intent or intent and I I I watch it again like five times over I'm just like all they are replaying all the time and every time I put it on at Super Bowl fifty four again but definitely have played was whole open I mean they they show it again and they showed it early in the route where he's split the two defenders and eight when you could tell because he just you know block makes the call on the next man says he Adam because like he knew as a quarterback he was probably watching the play from the beginning and he just he knew it and it was just I was heartbreaking man this is heartbreaking because you knew he was a he's can be open he overshadowed by a lot like a lot the situation you are under strong or just let them out and then I'm gonna make a play on the ball but if you ever thrown you got no chance that's why when they asked Emanuel after the game got a little salty I think somebody just missed a DC the way he has to buy ten yard run by seven yards he did any any slowed up at the end because he just like our chances the ball maybe late in the end zone and clapped his hands like that was it that was our chance and you know I don't know it's still still had four downs yeah you did it's funny though when you do that you E. you hope for a different result what do you think it's time we wouldn't have I don't watch no came back again man it was brutal but anyway play games to everyone is retiring the patriots fullback yeah that's it that is a huge huge loss I L. A. ever Brady and Gronk or hall of fame players but the reason they won the Superbowl the year before against the rams was his lead blocking unforeseen complications with season ending neck surgery a neck injury what happened there yeah wow what a great player he how they gonna replace them yeah that boy I I said I don't I don't wanna ever short change Bella check because every time I do I get burned by it but it's gonna be a bother they don't take a quarterback about that nothing I think that red hat in Cincinnati may wind up on a lot yeah I got a feeling finally Janus to the sink that makes sense in your guy Taysom hill gets an exam was talked about that the fund box that's not bad I mean they need a teddy Bridgewater yeah that's that's engine gets hurt a lot yeah he does he's not just a quarterback he plays like six different position on everything on special teams but I think you're right and now what now will keep an eye out on you know where Kim goes Randy Dalton goes that kind of stuff so anyway we'll get a few into a few things over the weekend we may have missed as well in the neighborhood was gonna join us does a great job with the athletic in fact such a great job that he's already got a mock draft for twenty twenty one we won't talk about that but even if they say by the way even if you say way too early way too early this way too early that the only way to really like college football rankings the night of the national champs of game Dev that doesn't pay you don't get a pass for that it's not time to do the twenty yeah I I just we just want the forty Niners to pick thirty second and yeah that's about that's about it right here all right we'll talk to him at the bottom of the hour it's Papa.

"A fifth round pick in the process they did that to get running back Jonathan Taylor out of Wisconsin Taylor ran a four three nine forty at the combine first player by the way in division one history to top the six thousand yard mark in three seasons also two players from Notre Dame selected in the draft night chase Claypool longer with coal come at tight end for network Indiana I'm John Herrick welcome back everybody Bob Lobel Phillip Phil draft going on as we speak the voice of the colts Matt Taylor joins me mad we were what we almost ready real the clock yet for pick number eighty five what's going on you're dialing right not bad not bad so if you ever sit here watching the rams that eighty four the culture eighty five because they traded back here are so do give you give content a little bit of an idea of what's going on here the colts traded I believe seventy five or eighty five with the Detroit Lions so the call tonight again seventy five overall gave up their sixth round pick to the lines exchange with a third round pick to the cold moved back ten spots seventy five to eighty five in exchange for a fifth round pick and a sixth round pick so this goes right in line with yeah well we heard a week ago tonight actually from Chris Ballard on you'll want to get more picks in this draft and and what you know to come home with more than seven picks heading into the draft and so far so good and it's it's really good Bob because it kind of compensates for what the colts gave up in order to move up a couple spots to get Jonathan Taylor that money back out of Wisconsin they had to give up the fifth round pick their move up a spot with the Cleveland Browns so gonna cancel that out and get them back on track and back to get the more pics tomorrow which is a good thing how many picks will they have two more right now they're gonna have a pick in the fourth round and because of what they did here they're going to have a pick in the fifth round and there have three sixes our system nothing in the seventh round but they're back on track for every other round fired that all right so we started out today in the second round wide receiver it been bandied about as one of the spots we need to focus on the did southern cal's Michael Pittman a wide receiver there an impressive resume Dijon manis yes let me let me better clarify that night I didn't do a very good job so what the colts have remaining they've got eighty five which is coming up here in a few seconds either have a fourth round pick tomorrow a fifth round pick tomorrow into sixes so tomorrow in that four picks yes my Michael picked Pittman you know he thought he thought he was gonna be drafted by the colts and he was exactly right and this is perfect for what the colts need you know they need a big body receiver a guy didn't go up in high point the football six foot four two twenty three and you know he was one of four receivers in college football last year we believe the hundred catches finished with a hundred and one for over twelve hundred yards and eleven touchdowns and you talk about you know the success that date Philip rivers has had over the years when you watch Philip rivers highlights you know you you read routinely see big plays down the field to big bodied receivers guys like Keenan Allen and and and the band and Michael Williams so it makes a lot of sense to bring in a guy like that in this offense and so here watching the draft right now eighty five overall the colts go with Katie and Julian Blackmon Bob out of Utah so you know we we thought we might see you know heavy offense early on we saw that with the first two picks with men and Jonathan Taylor and then kind of an under the radar area of need for this team was safety and help in the secondary because right now you only have four players under contract next secondary beyond this upcoming season Emily Coker you know they have decision to make on him now whether not to execute that fifth year option on him they have interesting bit bay to do that so he could be playing his final year in Indianapolis and so safety was kind of under the radar needed and so this this kind of makes sense as far as that goes to bring in a guy that played at a high level in a good program at Utah and you know kind of adds more depth to that secondary to the colts my manager hang on here through the short break okay I'll give you a chance to collect yourself week we got your response you did what you if you've got it yeah would you handle it like a pro you're the best angle okay you got it hi Matt Taylor now come back talk more colds in the NFL draft short break.

"So feel pretty good about my experience is doing quite well if you that's awesome Gary Vaynerchuk joining us all right so it is draft day and your beloved yes you have the eleventh pick in the first round what are you looking for the chance to do with that pick you want them to use it you want them to trade down and address the number of holes what would you like to see them do I would like to see them three down I think this is you know I've been in the sports representation business with my brother AJ what's the last four years and I'm an avid fan I've been following the drop to twenty five plus years I think this receiver draft is that parallels the twenty fourteen receiver draft it could it could end up being the best one ever we need receivers bad Robby Anderson I'm consulting Carolina so I do want to receivers but I don't want CD at eleven even though he is a he seems to be a really great talent I want to get back in Louisville left tackle there I'd probably settle for any of the top four left tackle there if I'm being honest rebel watched enough film to go with my gas but I do love second upside and looked at him carefully no I do love the U. S. the left tackle Austin Jackson wanted to be a leader we do have two separate we do we do have some we did two third round picks so we got one top one hundred but I'll take morning Joe Douglas has a real job to do and forcing the cabin last year in one of the all time worst jobs over a five year puritan GM history with this long contracts and is wrapping capability and so you've got a lot of work we have a lot of free agents at the end of this upcoming season at the end of it so there's a lot to lock in I worked for trading out of eleven going into the twenties loading up and going ham on the rest to try because I think it's an all time draft and I believe in our scalps that was put in place that I believe in general and I think will do well in the late rounds which are going to be the most interesting late rounds ever because the team's thirty visits more had this year because of cold and they're just small towns small school kids are going to slide there's a ton of talent here as we've seen I think it's really one of the more interesting for us to look at I I I predict things like hall of Famers in the fifth round if you told me that happened in this rap I would understand that because of the way this process what Jerry V. joining us and then Kerry on the other side of that being a sports has a number of clients in this year's draft so what's draft day like for you and AJ and the rest of the team pretty hectic I mean most of our got you know we have Darnay Holmes reseal a who's a day two guys who are going to try to see where he goes the March already of our guys are projected to be day three guys of Saturday's going to be good insanity so you know every year's different right Josh Jackson a couple years ago the day one guy he actually slipped out of the top day for all of us you know sitting in the green room not getting tickets never fun but Josh is such a resilient getting with the Packers early in round two going to his his you know career and so every every draft is different we have two quarterbacks that we think are sneaking this your call McDonald the kid from Hawaii and Steven Montez from Colorado the way the end of those with young quarterbacks now Darnay Holmes were just mentioned I think is going to is the prototypical need in the secondary in the new NFL speed wise some of his people get tough game yet again Hollywood brown two years goes like really intriguing to watch so just super excited about it you know there's a couple kids that I think are going to go undrafted rookie Dajjal Kilby who's gonna incredibly you know interesting story that I think makes him a tight end yup they are seventh round steel and then this is you know what you know the agents aren't saying that texting with the special teams coach they're texting with the head coach of the GM the scouts it's super fun for when your favor passion in the world growing up has now become something you're on the inside out it's pretty it's pretty intense but I remind people of your listening something I didn't know until I got into business no engine no no energy is ever gonna force the GM's dear there they make their decision so what you're doing is you're trying to get information you're not selling because everyone selling they're making their picks their jobs on the line but it's a it's a hectic and fun day and then the other thing is when your kids get picked you're finding out a good twelve minutes eight minutes because there is a solid delay so you know its there's up on park kind of knowing something early plus I'm such an engine jets thank god this hasn't happened yet but we have thirteen kids I I are you the one eight to ten drafted this year so I up the ante we still haven't had a patriot drafted you know in some desperately worried about that you're my favorite sport I'm not kidding about doing this I'm I'm and the relationship you know you got a kid who you fall in love with the family this is deep real thought you know their mom and I'm telling you right now one of our kids goes the patriots I'm done I tell the kids in the process again be gonna be there for me I'm like I'm not older corrupted by the patriots you know yeah unless you can drop by the trip from I'm I'm worried about that because this weekend Jim you also make you feel better Gerry Brady's gonna Gronk is gone so that helps you get really quick are you feel better yeah right you add us to tell my guy in my late recently I think that you guys are really really good at this time or ask you before you go what would you say to somebody right now Gary who is listening we have lost their job is feeling really down and really hopeless there's so much here and so before I start I would have to say it's all contextual and there's no one size fits all but here's what I will say the reality of life is completely based on perspective no matter how crappy it is neat you could decide the you have a ton of stuff in your house you can sell it on eBay and on Craigslist and on Facebook and and pick back up to three months worth of your income do you have the humility for that you know what I just said that you like whatever dude I get it but you have the humility because it's real close ten thousand people the emailed me that they follow that model number two social media make content right articles and make videos for your winter in profile right now people watching there's tons of companies on the offense and the number three seventy five percent of people just didn't like the job to begin with maybe this is the greatest gift of the ones that classic one step backward and two steps forward this is going to require humility you know you might have to give up your fancy car you might even have to give up your fancy house but as long as you don't care about other people's judgment who don't even know you would have nothing to actually do with your life and you actually focus on your interest is exactly when this audience should start their podcast about the Cincinnati Reds or about at the end she double eight like lean into your passions and use the internet and be still and after a couple of months of hustling how wild things start happening so glad I asked he's the CEO of intermedia invader sports the co founder of empathy wines he is a venture capitalist is a five time New York times bestselling author host of the Gary V. audio experience follow him on Twitter at Kerry V. and I consider him a very good friend of program Gerry it's great to have you back thank you so much stay safe good luck with all that have a great week thank you bye but I got it Gary V. "Is the greatest that is an ecstatic Antonio brown with his reaction to being released by the raiders it's time for straight talk brought to you by straight talk wireless ESPN's Adam Schefter on SportsCenter with Jay Harris on the raiders parting ways with the guy who could have been their number one receiver for quarterback Derek Carr J. the saga that never ends has reached something of an end at least for now in Oakland with the raiders officially releasing Antonio brown as you requested be done early this morning after three responding over two hundred fifteen thousand dollars told them that he would not be entitled to any termination pay in a separate letter and basically voided his guaranteed so I would imagine that there adult over the twenty nine point one two five million dollars that was remaining on his contract in guaranteed money raiders Antonio brown might not be done doing business yet as they hi go over that money that large sum of money and now Antonio brown becomes a free agent bring some with another team one ranger straight from. and there was not a lot of interest in him around the league. was willing to trade arguably the most productive wide receiver all football for a third and fifth round draft pick wild eating. twenty one million dollars against their own salary cap it was important enough for Pittsburgh to have twenty one million dollars out again they're back this year their trade. it's not a sign that something was wrong basically Jon Gruden wanted playmakers and they thought that they were getting a bargain on Antonio brown first third and fifth round pick and everybody always thinks that they're going to be the one that controlled the guy but I think that we see in his conduct because more more outrageous overtime and more more unique and more more. how how do you say this quite yet. that is ESPN's Adam Schefter we did mention emails to Jeff Darlington. watch and hit me up on the you know we gotta talk here we don't talk more all this leads that you wish you were editorial brown told me all season. you didn't feel like he will need to play football if it was not by anybody's rules but his own and he is once again made it very evident that that stands to be the case the question now becomes does he still wants to play football because I know that we're all talking about another team potentially signing in but at some point Antonio brown also has to say I want to play football and you talk to him back in February right and you can he emailed you this morning and you had conversations with them did you get any sense of something like this would happen with them. no I mean yes in the link with the one thing I walked away from a sprint like sixteen hours with them not didn't fall season and the one thing I walked away was Antonio is taking a much more NBA centric approach that square. feels like he is the star it is not the team that is going to own him and then obviously the NFL doesn't operate that way we know that based on the fact they don't have to get you money right now put put in it that's what I walked away with is that he's only going to do that she's only going to play football picks by his full and that to me is once again the biggest question. that is Jeff Darlington Louis Riddick ESPN NFL front office insider like the raiders Lewis just had enough what every team has a breaking point okay and I know there seems to be seen to be a lot of sentiment out there you know as far as Jon Gruden in particular being someone was being homeless and there would be kind of salt prison terms of his desire to want to make this work what the coaches. when they when they sponsor a guy like this. when they invest in a garlicky about the name Tony brown like all you would be even better than other people and even the second third and fourth chances he had been diligent in making it work and he tried everything obviously to make it work and obviously this read the breaking point and what this is quite honestly. one of the most probably one of the most selfish acts from an individual player that I've ever seen in current pro football and I've been involved in pro football since nineteen ninety one of the player and I see all kinds of good players come and go and talk to all kinds of toward the great French play this legal long time and I every guy what pop group that they never ever seen this kind of situation ever your booking characters who come to this league now there's been some characters in people who was almost selfish people who you know will bring great place. and this is when it's absolutely disconnected how how this ultimately played out given everything the raiders tried to do in order to bring this with young men into the fold. and basically turn over the key for friend ties to the bay they did everything they possibly could to make him the focal point we're ready to go ahead and unveiled in one Monday night and they come through this because why. why did you want to wear your own helmet because you want to do your own thing March to your own beat so when you want to show up post op on Instagram social media all the time in error out what historically in which additionally is called keeping things in house and you want to put it all out there on blast for the whole world to see and for what. what because you want to be an individual you will be your own brand I mean it's just it's one of the most asinine thing I've seen probably in my time in pro sports and I really do feel bad for the rate the rate is going to take a take a hit when that the rate is going to be what that'll let his typical writer that's what they do they bring in now content they don't have any organizational structure they don't have any plot to be they have no modus operandi as far as how others will do it how you really run organization and a bunch of B. S. I tried to make is working is likely fifty two guys on that team right now you also should feel bad for conservative if you guys were trying to do it the right way who trying to gear up to try and pull the raiders out of the doldrums to make them relevant again. and now they have to now bear the brunt of the stoppage act one individual another football team looks totally different the coaches can you imagine what the codes are trying to do right now supports ground game plan the Denver Broncos defense right now all of the big bad yeah maybe one in the NFL would be good. all the all the way that this is all the chemical that this thing has as far as all the lives that in the back and it's just mind blowing in as we sit here waiting for the car to go head over to read our facility and I'm spelling. I can I I could tell how they were trying their rear end off to make this work that's Louis Riddick ESPN NFL front office insider in that straight talk straight talk wireless everything.

"I rock in like five times in fifth round. I was trying to put out I was trying to send him to the Hawaii. I think it went to the hospital just look after himself. But yeah, I'll try to take him out and. He's talked. I said these Mexicans they to put away you said on the embedded as what you caught that is that you just have to be accumulated damage gonna have polka face. He doesn't have a polka fishy. Doesn't like to show his shirt and beautiful Sean show when he's he's hurt. So yeah, I just kept racquet racket up when I knew is a lot of people, bro. See there's a lot of people have seen in this game. Some people I can see when they wanna way out and the this is just too much. No, I can't do anymore in any dislike they been weak the weak, mentally, they take themselves out. And sometimes, you know, you'll those are the moment that I could like see that. There's that that voice now trying to tell us too much or something you wanna way out. Will you never take that option? A lot of people do and you don't have a fight of what life has to you could just push through. You know? So that fight. Showed me who I was showed people who I was gonna care about them. If already knew I had the end me, I I knew I had this image. I'm proud that me and him to display heart. And I'm proud that a lot of see that. We we created a movement that's gonna last forever. So now this sets up the big rubber Whitaker fight. Which would be one of the biggest fights. I've seen us. China may be one of the biggest fights in UC history. In terms of the amount of tickets, you could sell back in Australia for this. And I notice when you talk about energy. And I noticed when you talk about Robert eucheuma Mazi, and you've called yourself the real champion. There seem am I right in saying that there's some is there some heat there between you two can you explain your feelings towards Robert? Well, put it this way. Whenever seen him based face is just shakes my hand keeps it moving. But then I hear talks on, you know, people say all you settle they'll send me a link, and I'm like what? I've never said anything bad about the guy. So there's one apparently all that Israel that he's not he's not as good go to the banks is a might. They're hoping even pick Kelvin against me because he thinks Calvin was gonna beat me because he had all the well rounded tools. Well, I I was pretty well rounded in that flight one, you know, so. Yeah, eases one of those guys was hoping he doesn't wanna fight me. So he's he's hoping for the easier fight with Kelvin and a Robertson for rude awakening east in. I can't wait. I said advanced as they want to fly going UFC said, I remember I was out just before I got outside the report or not said, you know, I'll be fighting rubber for the belt if he still has it, you know, somewhere in Auckland later on in two years in the report on give all you come back. He's recipe NC, double nature. And so he's the goat. All what he's he's the go passing ball Calvin this one not this one this one. This one's take Kelvin knockout. He's gonna take him put him on his back over. He put me on my back with that sweep. We'll guess what I got with. Pool is the rock triangle, Dexter, fucking nil. "Of a story. I have one request though, John Dorsey Brown's GM the next time you can make a big trade it during normal working hours not at night because during normal working hours, people aren't working how dare visiting websites. Dare you news in the middle of the night. Nobody notices to normal working our for us. I mean free agency those things happen if you can orchestrate a trade like vets those those happens now. You know, I think both sides benefitted from this. Any anytime. You know, I always say that, you know, you laid out all different types of scenarios and very rarely does that one percent pan out in this situation. I think the one usually you throw away a hundred zero scenarios because they never panned out. But this one it was Tuesday around four thirty a couple of guys in. I got off the phone with David Guetta Gettleman. And I said guys a chance this may really happen. So it didn't come to fruition to after we had some more conversation. And then it came around finalisation about seven seven thirty. We're where we're kind of sunk in you know, what you just you got yourself. Number one receiver beckon help your second year quarterback propel helped propel him in his second season. Right. So so, okay. So now did the conversations or is it even talked about a little bit. When the Zeitler Livia Vernon contract or trade gets done. Was there anything brought up then or was it that was kind of done? And then this just came about in talks and furthering that along. Well, I'm more compartmentalized thing. I can't really multitask. I think my wife multitask, veteran either regards. So what I do is. I try to you know, your tech one trade. And then you just said, you know, what no harm no foul so Tuesday morning. I'd call David back. And I said how about this possibility? And then you just you third at scenario out that and then we started to have conversations majority today. So the prior week that were rumors coming out of Cleveland and something would be going on possibly with Odell Beckham junior at that time. There was nothing happening that those rumors were just that strictly. Rumors nothing was going on. No talks was rumors. I mean, the only. Thing that we were doing because you know, we we we we listen to read things and things come across my desk. So then again you plan on different scenarios. And of course, we had already planned a couple of different stairs in case that whenever did come to fruition. And so we were prepared for it. I mean that that's kind of what you do. You have to do that in Orlando. Online at work. Right. All right. So take us into Odell Beckham junior. Now, just, you know, your your evaluation of them and just all the things you liked for about them to make the move. I think talent speaks for itself on the field. Yeah. Very rarely. Do you get to acquire? A man of twenty six years old is still has extended years contract left. Then you mix in the passion. And then you mix in the competitiveness, and then all of a sudden one of his best friends is on your team. And all of a sudden, he's college and former receiver coaches on your staff and I'm excited I'm excited for the direction. You know, what he brings for us in the direction, we're headed offensively. How hard was it to make the first move though? Because there's that thinking that the one who calls I is not operating from a position of strength where you kind of hoping that maybe Dave Gettleman would call you what what causes you to finally pick up the phone and reach out, the galman and say, let's talk about this possible. No harm. No foul. Why not do it? So we did. I think David is relationship spans back to thirty seven years here now. So he understands my makeup. I understand David. So when you have relationships like that, it's easy to you know. Had very direct conversations and say, okay. So we just had very Frank very direct conversations, no him, and and Han, and sometimes you can human harm in in these types of deals, and it could drag on for weeks. But when you know, you have two people were two organizations are talking with each other. And each side is going to be better for the trades want to attempt to do it. How about the oh, I mean Odell Beckham junior. This is such a handful. Oh my gosh. You know? I mean, we're defenders of him. We constantly talk about we never hear anything bad into the locker room in New York. The players love him. We see the passion that you mentioned. How do you do your due diligence there in the process, I think you do your research? And I think we know enough people not only in pro football. But in college football's world to get a vast understanding with this person's all about about said this a lot you can't have enough passionate competitive guys on your football team in the here's a guy that shows up. Loves the game of football, his teammates love him. And so to me that that that speaks volumes when your teammates begin to rave about right? Because that shows the markup who this person. Really? And I did you specifically speak to Jarvis Landry is former LSU teammate about Odell Beckham not doing not I've talked to him afterwards. But I didn't talk to him before. Now, some will say okay the Steelers give up Antonio Brown for third about picking a fifth round pick. Why so much more for Odell Beckham junior? Why a first round pick a third round pick in a guy who was a first round pick. Just you know, I think it should have been more you one this one. It happens at a time when? Thirty one years old, okay? This Odell is twenty six twenty six years old. There's a big differential. He's right there at the at the prime of of of his position. And that's why you're willing because I just watch him play the game of football. And I know what we as an organization willing to give up from for compensation standpoint. To acquire a player of this magnitude. Did you talk to the giants at all last year before they signed him to the long-term contact any point from March until August? No, I saw Dave Gettleman here at the owners meeting about this time last year, but we never talked whatsoever about this. When you have a quarterback like Baker Mayfield, who's passed all the tests to this point seems like he's got great personality, and charisma does that give you more confidence in this scenario to go. You know, my my quarterback can handle another personality at the receiver position. Now. I mean, you know, bakers got a strong personality. I've said that he is mature beyond his age where he sits right now. I think he understands he's very comfortable his own skin. And what you have to do when you have a quarterback like like that. It's our responsibility. Make sure you get playmakers to let him flourish and develop his skill set for truly what it is. And let him put that on display, right? You mentioned the contract situation with Odell Beckham junior's get five years left. I think it's around seventy four million. There's already been a report from NFL network though, that he'd like to get a restructuring at what point are, you bracing for Odell Beckham junior's Representative to say, hey, you know, you didn't have to pay the twenty one million up front. The giants. Did we we'd like a sweetener like Antonio Brown? I don't think it's a brace. I think right now there's there's X amount of years of guarantees still left on their contract. But what I wanna do is. I want to sit down face to face. And just you know, let's talk about this. Let's talk about who you are. And let's talk about who the Cleveland Browns are, and let's move this thing forward in the positive direction. That's what I look at. Okay. I mean, I'm I'm your biggest fan right now. I just hope you know, this. Right. To sit here and call you buddy, boy, buddy. Boy, hey, buddy. Boy, do you know who Thanasis the, you know, the avengers? Do you know this the vendors movies right with iron, man? And all that. I don't expect you to not ringing a bell. I know. But this is a like if you could see this. It is he's got a big. He's got his chin is a little bigger than yours. So I'm not heads bigger than lines. But still I was calling you Thanos on the day because he helped me out taking over the thing. It's a good thing. Generational. Remember? Over your notes on what were you notes? Big hands big hands. Four, and he just goes those are eleven inch hands right there. He was good. But this is obvious. And then the thing that I bring it up because he he was aggressive to overcome the avengers. And you're being aggressive to overcome the. No who Thanos says. Either. And I wish I hadn't frankly, he's been talking about maybe we could find a superhero their fits him. I don't know. There's anything super about me says good luck. Yeah. I don't know. Because you look like you just came out of the ocean. I don't know. The the the the Browns now over what over the past year. I I can't recall a franchise it has gone from more overlooked too. Now, the center of attention primetime games who knows how many four or five or coming. Are you ready for is the team ready for this spotlight that is going to be shining in a positive way? But there's also going to be expectations a live up to twenty played a game of football. I mean, there's challenges every year in the game of football. I think it's better to be in this position than the position two years ago. That's what you want. Is. You want growth, you want guys to understand that the organization will do anything in its power to help you chief success, and that starts with leadership, and that starts with D And Jimmy hassle and they've supplied the resources for this. Now, it's our our job to go out and execute the plan that that we say, you know, what maybe this can work, but it doesn't start. It starts to one place. It starts with those guys down in that locker room and those guys got stuck the bar high. And that's going to be under the direction of Freddie kitchens. And I have complete faith in, Freddie. That's where I wanted to go next. Anyways, just what was it that you saw and Freddie this year when he took over as in term coach gave you the confidence to go ahead and make him the guy. Well, it's what you first off. It's his his resume basically was eight game. And there's no better thing than have eight eight game resume one display, and what happened is you saw a group of young men on the offensive side of the ball come together and believe. You know, what's this offense of philosophically what they were trying to do on offense. But what happens is you see a group of guys come together on that side of the ball. I'm going there's something to him because he is he's consistent day in and day out. He will hold players accountable hills. He's very trustworthy. He's and he and he buys in with the players and he'll sit and listen to the playoffs. Right. When did you get the Green Bay? Nineteen eighty-four. Okay. My first reaction to the auto Beckham junior trade, even though the circumstances are different. Reggie White was the first thing that came out the week before that if this happens, this is Reggie White to Green Bay this legitimises Cleveland it puts the team on path for an eventual championship. Did you feel that at all getting a guy like oh BJ? Does it feel like Reggie White? No, actually, what I felt after the thing is I say, congratulations guys. Now, it's time to move on the next hand because we're third place in the AFC north or seven eight and one last year. Let's go to work here. Okay. And we have a lot more pieces to fill the move this thing forward expectations. That's okay. Don't be scared of expectations. There's there comes a point here where you know. The men in that locker room, you know, sometimes you have to dare to be great every once in a while like like, I tell him. So why not be great? Why not take a shot at it? And do it the right way. Are you able to go public in Cleveland now go every day? But I mean, do they do you get two bites of a meal before somebody comes over to you? Whenever I go out in public, which is not very often. It's always would Katherine Jack and Tricia, and we're having a family meal, and you know, people come up and say, hi, but you know, I'm I'm used to growing up in a small town. So you you're always sitting and talking to people. So I'm used to people talking to you now in Cleveland. It's a great football town. That really is. You know, I've I've embraced the months. You know, basically, you're and a half since I've been here, and I understand now. You know, you understand the relevance of the Cleveland Browns because I found this out in nineteen twenty. We're gonna talk about one hundred years NFL football when the eleven original clubs were signed in the NFL five of them were from Ohio. So it shows you the importance of football northeastern, Ohio, which I think is really cool. No doubt. Well, it's cool. What you're doing? We congratulate you son..

"Getting a fifth round choice to pats getting a seven route or meantime, more tell us would be interested in coming out of retirement to play with his brother for a third stint in New England. NFL deals to speak of from Friday with PTI feeling. This was the headliner. Michael bennett. I mean, just somehow whatever the patriots decide to do these have to bring somebody in who said, you know, sort of a year and a half of being disgruntled or wherever you go to patriots. He's gonna want go to the patriots won't even last long, but it can wind up with another Super Bowl ring for Michael Bennett. So I'm gonna say Michael Bennett now Michael Bennett last season for Philadelphia. He ten starts sixteen games had nine sacks. Yeah. Somehow, you know, it's gonna work out because it's snowing. That his brother Martell are back in as a tighter Belichick wants to hang on. It actually might work. Just don't know about crop. What's funny about Bennett now with New England? And it's already coming out is Greg is a defensive coordinator they were together. Tampa. And this is what Bennett said about one point city, a small, man syndrome. Also, try to be Bella check. However that is as a head coach as a defensive coordinator could be a little bit. They would hope. Yes. For my money. I'd have this deal though, is it involved. Two frontline players the Browns trading guard, Kevin Zeitler to the New York Giants, but Libya Vernon team swapping draft picks with Cleveland getting a four while New York. It's back a fitness coming draft Zeiler considered one of the league's best interior linemen while Vernon started thirty nine games over three seasons with the giants. Dealing with injuries. You let it would seven sacks twenty one quarterback hits in eleven games last season in the third year of a five year eighty five million dollar contract and Graziano with inside from the New York Giants perspective. The giants are moving on obviously from alleviate Vernon who is a big free agent signing for them a few years back under a different regime when when they had different plans, and they do now. They need offensive line help. They always need offensive line helped seemingly in New York and Zeitler said proven guide garden they draft saquon Barkley second overall last year. So obviously they're committed to the ground game. And they need as much help as possible to make that goal. So Seidler makes more sense.

"Remember gave a third rounder, but they got back a fifth round. It's complicated. Rob lou. Remember they lost Nate Zolder big ticket item to the giants. Right. That was their left tackle. Then they drafted left tackle with the twenty third. Overall, pick is Ahah win. And what happened to him second preseason game achilles rupture gone for the year. So now, you're down to left tackles and you throw in Trent Brown left tackle, former seventh round draft pick. And you mentioned Joe -tuni-. He's a he's third round or David Andrews undrafted free agent out of Georgia and shack Mason was a fourth rounder and Marcus cannon was a fifth round. Or so these are not big ticket items these five guys right here. But the Pro Bowl to star. The all pro is the offense of line coach is simply you could make. A case he's the greatest offense of long coach ever because he's had nothing, but high level success with low level type players, right? The same way. He was again, you know, what he deserves to be in this conversation because he even made March Leira. Right. Yeah. There you go. But the point is you're right. Dante score Nekia. I I met speaking of bags money back in the days that SMU did a documentary. They were called the pony express. And it became the pony excess. Yes. But it was Eric Dickerson. Craig Jane, literally podium. It was. Anyway, he was on that staff. That's where I I met him. And then he went with Ron Meyer to New England. And he's still there after all these years, and he sees to get better with age because he's seventy years of age, and this might be as greatest job, right? Because how can you get better than that? You don't you? Go into without a left tackle into the year ninety pass attempts. He'll be hit three times get. Okay. And yet you're about to go up against think about what what your your challenges now with that offense of line up against this is the front four for the Los Angeles. Rams. You got SU who was the second overall pick. Then you've got Dante Fowler on the outside. But Russia these third overall pick and then you got Aaron Donald the thirteenth overall pick. And then you got Michael brokers the fourteenth overall pick. So you have four players drafted in the top fourteen in the draft going up against that. Mish. Mosh here of just guys. These are just a bunch of guys over here. But you got Dante scar Nekia who has re. Revitalized this whole line because what happened in that AFC championship game against Wade Phillips what happened in that game. Tom hung in there as long as he could. And he did drive them for a touchdown it cut the score the lead to twenty to eighteen. So then they had to go for two. Right. And if we could see this play you tell me what happens on this play. There's no Dante score Nekia, and he drops back Vasan. He's got a boat. How many times in these plans? Have you seen Tom have to roll right netball? Got tipped up. Intercepted. It was a two point try. Maybe it one more time watch. He's gotta go. He's he feels like he's got to go to the right right away. Right. Because they're blitzen and people are coming unblocked. Right. That was the moment. We're Bill Belichick said we just can't do this. They didn't have success all day. Because a lot of got sacked four times Jackson wolf because you had wearing von Miller, edges and wolf and me Jack edge pushing the collapse Tom to intercept that day and had. A QBR grand total of thirty seven scale zero two hundred. So he had a my his standards a pretty pitiful day, which that's why Dante score Nekia came back out of retirement. And then what happened in last year's Super Bowl with a couple of minutes left? What happened there driving? I think it's thirty eight to thirty three at this point. And guess who the right tackle is? He's now Dallas cowboy named Cameron Fleming. Cameron Fleming and Brandon Graham, just powers right through him and Tom's holding the ball just a second longer. Although he really didn't have much time on that. When Brandon Graham that's just a big time play, and he got his hand on the ball. And that's the only sack of the Super Bowl. Cameron fleming. Was the right tackle now. Dallas cowboy backup, right? So they have now replaced him with Marcus cannon..

"I find that hard to believe I don't believe they will give him away for free. I believe they have heard his trade value. There's simply no way they're not gonna just take the hit. Are they if guys under comes out and says, well, no, I don't think they'll take the hit. But they did they absolutely ruined. His trade value when the owner comes out and says, yeah, he's probably not going to be a Steeler this year. I disagree with that. All you need is to teams to be interested to teams to need to receive or two teams to not be aeriens. And all of a sudden, you've got the bidding war you need, and how cheap do you think you can get into owning Brown? You think you could be one of these fifth round pick things. I think you can get them the way you got Randy moss and Oakland. The patriots got him for a fifth round pick. I'm not certain in the patriots. They get everyone for fifth round pick. It's amazing. I need a jets are gonna be interested. I think there will be some teams interested. I just wonder what the offers going to be. Maybe it's a first round. I doubt it probably more like a second or third rounder. You know, what's good? When you take a nice mid afternoon, nap no-one thinks about twenty minutes when you wake up really, really refreshed and ready for the rest of the day. You think Tom Brady wants to be kept young by Tonio Brown? You think if you ask Tom Brady now that you're running this franchise, Tom now that you neutered, Bill Belichick and made him trade. His boy toy Garoppolo. Do you think Bob Kraft goes to Tom Brady and says it's really important for us to keep you young and the the mechanics in the lab are having a difficult time stitching gronk together every Sunday. It's weekly tune-ups or at work. It's not the everything is creaking and broken. The the patriots just did it with. Josh, gordon. I mean Steelers are going to trade Antonio Brown's at the pay but Billy's talking about Antonio Brown. What he's talking about him simply being waived because the the Rooney's are willing to take the cap hit. I don't believe that. I believe they have to get something for him. I don't believe they shouldn't even be trading, and they're just trying to make some sort of statement because they're the Rooney's, and they don't abide, you know, football malfeasance. So why would you give him a fair off? Or if they're saying they don't want him. Why would you say, you know, what I'll give you a I don't want to lose him because you don't wanna lose them to the next guy who's willing to do it. What if he's in your division? What if you're like, you don't think the jets wanted Tonio Brown Mayfield? Adam gates right now. We'll take crazy ass. Adam gates. We'll take Antonio Brown and lady on bell right now. If he could have fans would love that. I would love that. I will take the Steelers don't want. I will. I I mean, what the Steelers had was a playoff team every single year with those two guys who wouldn't want that. You're saying a lot of people wouldn't Bruce Arians is telling you he doesn't want that Bruce Arians not that he needs it at his age. But Bruce Arians, you would think would be all about getting better players because Tampa needs better players for as good as their wide receivers are. And again, I don't know is is Sean Jackson going to be there. I can imagine. I can imagine that Bruce Arians is taking that position to gods. Because he doesn't want Antonio Brown with James Winston because James Winston is an accurate in Tokyo. Brown will use that machete called kindness. And kill James Winston, Ben Rothlisberger is accurate, right? Are you saying areas would not want to Sean Jackson that the only receiver left standing? There is going to be Adam Humphreys. No, they're going to always have bright. Br I know he's not a receiver. But Cameron break is always someone who's going to be opening the same. Court thrown statium time for some ads. It's really, oh, Jay Howard and the scene and camera. Braid is always open in the end, so weird bad my bed technology truth. Brought to you by. Echo. Truth. You will certainly send any text about your supervisor to your supervisor. What's Janet's fangs?.

"So the whole excitement around as you can feel it from the funds, you can feel it an address in room, and you can send because you know, you're not gonna win the league. We were we think the best finish for six ninety seven. When we go to the fight them. So we're not gonna win the league. So what's the next best thing for all of a sudden takes on another life of its own of is is important is what it is. Well done if it was as I know it was the coverage from the Press TV as well. Because I think it was on terrestrial BBC. Yeah. As you as you go closer to the final. It was it was up salute. Those the only games semifinal, for example. The only games they were talking about that was you know, we we go to villa with place city in the semifinal final eight. We just got done send in the league. It's the fed round poed costume from stories. Stories what I'm saying. You know, you talking about the passion of the games of the ethical on. What what it meant to well play. I'm as players progress. Founds. We don't in this file on an extra time. That's a tough onto swallow. You mentioned you mentioned bonnet. And obviously the fact that you got in by replay. And even when you went to the task. Of course, a lot of people calling replace to be abolished and just simplify things clear up the calendar. Is that something you agree with? Yeah. Yeah. In this panel issue of the night. I'm a big fan of it. In in the early roads. When when when you go the lights of these lowly teams, some don't leads wants absolutely the money for the next five years ten years, you know, give them replays. I'm Vic as you as you progress into the final say, maybe for the fifth round or something like that. Then go straight depends because it really is a left little of the club. If you can get Chelsea a bonnet, Chelsea, you know, some only see. Yeah. Second by calm all creeks early region. So we comply Stanford bridge within about the dole that will. Yeah. So it's important for the lower league teams what you're saying. I can see what you're saying. There's a way where it was a runs came on one leg game. You just fix it. Because I have other lower league team hosted well with that noble. I understand up. But then you've got for the little league teams necessarily.
