"He comes to Villanova and in that first season just plays a role. He's just a role player and is totally comfortable in that role not trying to do too much playing thirty minutes a game totally comfortable and the next season I know you said, you didn't know if he was great because when we talked about great players in the big east, it was mostly Marcus Howard miles, Pow Marquette Seton Hall. But like he was first all big east and I would argue that when you're the best player at Villanova, you're great like. You might not get talked about as much as the guy scoring. Forty. At Marquette or a guy doing it for. At certain points in time atop team at Seton. Hall. But like you're the best player Villanova in this era Villanova basketball, you're you're a great player. So I like that and then I also like that he was a sub one hundred recruit coming out of high school. And now is thought of as a possible lottery. because. There's no way to be misled by that. You earned that in college if you are ranked outside of the top one, hundred in high school, and after two years of college, you were considered a possible lot likely lottery pick that means you have shown the things that you know on a big stage that make that possible for you my point being this. Jay mcdaniels might be a first round pick and it will have nothing to do with what he did at Washington he was he sucked he sucked in college. But. He still might be a first round pick because. He measured a certain way runs a certain way. He has a skill set. That is intriguing and he was considered a top ten pick coming out of high school. So somebody. Picking Twenty, six go. was going to go top a year ago. Maybe it was just a bad fit at Washington. I don't really know what went wrong there. Exactly. GonNa top ten talent with the twenty six pick. Let's take it and then it might just blow up on you or just never materialized because and then you'll go out I guess I should have saw this coming the guy was not good when he played in the PAC. Twelve was Sadique Bay you come into college with no real NBA expectations, and then after two years you're considered a possible top ten guy possible lottery guy that means you've earned it. So he's not here on reputation developed three years ago or even one year ago he is here based on what he did. On the stage that the big east provides and I think that makes him a safer pick. Then maybe one of these one and done guys that wasn't quite as productive as as as that you thought they would in in their one season of college and when I say for I, don't mean just safer I think the upside for being a high level starter in the NBA for a long time I think that's as well. Yeah. My final thought on this is that you almost take him depending on who you are and like if you go if you weren't. Ibn should if you will end with New Orleans for example, that seems like it would be a roster that he would really fit in well with. But they've also got a coaching situation to figure out. There's just a couple of different spots at different intrigue but you draft him even though I said that I do think that if he goes eleven or twelve or lower like I do think that he is going to be outperforming that relative guys that are taken ahead of him that might not bear out five seven years from now but I do think in the first year, Bay is going to wind up being a pretty impactful player I. Think he'll adapt pretty quickly, but you almost draft him. One because you think that he's the right kind of player for you, and then he can help your franchisers. No doubt about that. But. Under the same circumstances or projections as to Winnie. Entered Villanova. He's not he's not a lock top five guy not only guy within this draft class and again would be really reserved for really two or three guys in a given class for the most part. But you get him and then you hope that you plug them in, he can be a role player and and earn. You know thirteen fifteen seventeen minutes a game maybe maybe that goes up to twenty, four, twenty, six by the time you get you know seventy five percent of through the season and then you look up and see how well he's been able to adapt to the role mature within a year's time, and then he's really producing in a way where it's almost like. A bonus. But really you're GONNA, draft him to say, okay he might be our seventh eighth ninth, most important player depending on which team he lands on, and then if whatever we can get your one year two that's great. But we're really going to draft him thinking that he's going to grow into this role into this pick and be the kind of guy that. that we want to give a second contract who wants he enters into, you know the final stages of that first contract overall. So that's my that's the way. I. I. See him I do him a lot I just find him to be a safe pick. I find this floor to be exceedingly high and I think that informs my opinion on him as much. As anything else I just don't see any sort of situation to pay enters the NBA, and then we look up in three and a half years and he's kind of been like in the G. League and now he's lost his way. He's not really sticking on a Rosser. I just don't see that happening I think he's going to be a minor roster for least decade. I mean, there's a team in the NBA, a franchise in the NBA. That could use a six eight forward who can guard positions and shoot the ball from the perimeter consistently well, again, forty five percent from three point range this past season. Again really high floor here I cannot envision him not being in the NBA. For for a long time and so we're really just arguing. Over, whether he's going to be you know a top three player on a good team. Top four player on a good team or just a guy who's who's in the League for a long time. But six eight guards multiple positions shoots the.

"There will be winners and losers. Those who Were very critical of the government of those who were leading who were actually managing the crisis. Those are really critical of them. They will benefit because really uneducated politically very Data no constructive criticism from populist renting at the same time this one person Organiz these owners of small companies into one facebook group and then society. Now they are very bro cold. The current corona lull is being proposed but nearly not enough everybody's attacking the federal the federation the entity for introducing Lord and cannot really work put economy back on its feet. We had a session. We had tried to be constructive. Just offering solutions not attacking. Anyway that thousand four criminal for the as Alexis satis out to you have to have negative attitudes sixty than anything but we will do it. We had meetings of our of what we called. State board the board that talks about long term big issues and rosie great session of energy. The next one will be on the financial situation of the country. Our expert team started working. Jelly really well. Responding with their own. Advice is offering their own advice to government saying well if it for us. If we were in your position we would have done this or we would to this Anyway one interesting thing I was just talking about it and everything is for this one interesting thing. When we had the session with young people and the question is why is it? That more of you have not come forward with the In volunteer to run for office. Because we talk about the young people all the time we're talking about giving them a chance to now begin a chance to that three members of the three representatives of of youth in the governing body of the platform for progress. We are asking them to come forward and will support as many of them as possible. They're coming in large numbers so we asked why one of them had that session Senate into what bothered with issue competence. You are talking about our core principles. Our country first competence skills education integrity honesty and the young people youth. How can we be young and competent in the same time Dempsey's crush? How can we be come up? We end up saying you have to know Everything Day One. We just want to have the right attitude. Put the society. I Lock Yourself. Don't steal No something well you a student here in college you. You just finished college. He knows something he have field. You know how to think you do have some knowledge of your discipline. You know how to think you'll know to find the right people Plus you are going to be City Council member. There's also brought to you me educated one issue at a time supported. You know how to do promise slowing how to be honest at how to us for the right to vice aggregate to vote on a certain issue you think anybody was really bored with solutions for everything. New by the carnage. Go ahead and then you allude to this process in come on start so we will prepare you work with you. Have this academy will give you. Some materials will put mentor surround. You will push you but that shock us. It wasn't like I'm afraid it was not idle time in love it was. I didn't care but he was. Will I perform will enough? Which is great that they're asking them because nobody asks the asses off they just want the money that comes with that position in the Congress over wherever in Parliament City Council because they are overpaid. So that's old people didn't care. Can I doing? Our young people are saying we are concerned. It will not be able to but question. It was really interesting for me because I never thought about Kelly. Young person be competent In the sense of professionally competent. You'll be the Basically we don't have experienced isn't required. It was interesting. It was really cool. Lot of good ideas came from old sessions and we will continue so we'll continue with them so one more positive thing with this corona pedantic it is a we are now talking more to people throughout the organization than we have before and finally after a long hiatus from the public media or public. I would set End One that's national. Tv in the morning Yesterday they asked me about anything they were being held. The green is doing with panics. What do you think about this Corruptive behavior will there be elections What are the main issues facing Bosnia Toledo a few? What would you have done differently? Very fewer in charge and it was cool enough long. Samad fifteen seventeen minutes but it was I like the person who us question and it was. It was not prepared released in two thousand crisis regardless of what I said she would ask her breakfast. It wasn't like that she was actually trying to listen to my answer. So then formulate the next question based on what I was talking about. Sorry that was rambling. Those trying to figured. Oh Yeah. Forgot about political Political Advisory Council There were some really issues to be facing their one member who based after re Sell where there was a request for us to come? Come up with the press release so yeah it was a day of the buzzing army. That was a day of the Bosnian. Army wasn't greening army The one that was in the war defended bosnia-herzegovina that subsequently stopped being because he got Reforms by taking members of all three sides Their goal is though whether they were fighting against each other wherever they go each unit but put under one umbrella. So there's a new Mosley Armagh but this was a day of the old one one extra got established in the war in defending the country and we wanted to actually issued a press release congratulating on defending the country and welcome me this new army that was established on off to the U Constitution of put in place some members of the political party. Those of the council those members who Who actually been The public assists got audited. Who BASICALLY SAID REGARDLESS? So will we think or one person out so what? I think if you will be successful ended over subsequent. This is not a way of doing it. You will live on in deer yourself too many syrups in public if you start celebrating or recognizing the one of the three arteries and we city up by the other two wanted to split the country. This was defending integrity. Unity and they'd had Bosnian Serbs Johnson in others in within their ranks. Yeah yeah no but Allen still this one side we had a long discussion we that again just like other questions. Got To the core of who? We are Kenya principles when one side says well. It's fine but if you say that you will not have any followers in the other parts of the country and you need to be there so whether you do I modified slightly that press release but I actually decided that was a need to sign. Yes or no sign decided to publish it but tried to change the warning. So it's not too offensively onside yet to celebrate the other anyway so you got your face every day so kind of tough decisions and you've you've touched upon it quite a bit in. Actually you answered one of my previous questions in terms of your outreach. I know you were ob so much with the town hall meetings in person and everything I would assume it's refreshing to be able with this new approach to start engaging more with the populace and it's got to be good for them too. I mean it's it's it's a new way of connecting..

"Is not improved enough and and here's the way I feel right now watching this team if he doesn't show some sort of improvement between now around the all star break the Sixers have to consider trading Benson it's for the best of this team to the best of their championship window they just can't let him ruin another playoff run they have to see a proven the next two or three months otherwise I'm putting on the trade block Joe Giulio six PM to ten PM sportsradio ninety four he non stop activity and and for me he looks really healthy and really good so I think all that kind of worked out your neighbors but to me there is a lot of that kind of flipped the switch on and off if you'd be interested part normally different bursts team of this kind of past technique normally what would happen is lebron in the stark you were the warriors right then you pick up the people off the street who will be willing to make four dollars to go and try and run with your win a championship well they had older blues guys you're already and then added why and all of your digital blue guys I know she goes out they're not there but Beverly Harrell and Lou Williams they they gave a tough test the warriors in the playoffs I'm surprised to see kind of how in an out they've been and goes back kind of full throttle bottle here let's go back to where you were on lebron here's an underrated part of his team they have the flip the switch think don't look at the way the Lakers have played live awesome games but there are not many games I can't even really sick of more than one where they've got whacked haven't put it in the fourth in the old rock and on the behalf by they cannot dominated them defensively and won the game going away the Lakers have actually the look run lead Hayes was with the Cavaliers with the switch when higher that team with the Lakers has to me even way more consistent with their effort which surprises me when you look at the names of the two teams to Eastern here with us on CBS portrayal I case twenty five days telling trade deadline and everyone gets their information social media favorite websites watching you guys on TV NBA TV TNT where route I'm not feeling as much juice as much but with three damp weeks out leading up to the trade deadline rumors rumors and there were always some floating but it just seems like a less to me this year same for you or am I not looking in the right place yes I think the answer is yes and I think there will be but I think you can unlike the rob Manfred had the ball get this way situation you can explain away this one and describe it to the fact that you'll see why they're not only are given example spilling out by you think of that beat right the big part they need the shooter last name miss read it we all know that I think they will yeah one ironically the got yourself with Belinelli two years ago for nothing in the morning playing great basketball third time now the the walkie but their biggest question how do we get these guys to work together how healthy is and feed we gotta wait for it to be so it's all internal for the most part at the end of the shooter you think about Indiana who by the way never gets remembered but they're gonna be a pain in the neck to deal with any playoff series they make millet is is good because anybody right now and they've got the bonuses improved Robinson fantastic they're gonna get a with people back any clothes so there's really nothing else for them to do they are off the board you think about the lawn it's possible but you look at where their finances are difficult Boston to me is an interesting one because I think the any understands that you kind of screwed this up a little bit if you go back last you can over years after really there was nothing he could do wrong speaking of David with the midas touch her you're there before that I wouldn't be surprised to Boston the little activities there's not that much to do in the box I mean look they play nine ten guys that are working real comfortable so it's almost like the whole concert is off the board in the west go to the Lakers and the clippers I think the clippers finance in size in the middle what we're talking about somebody who is going to be a bench player played fifteen seventeen minutes willing to take some towels from went white Howard the game in a playoff series I think Houston absolutely need that then sighed looking for similar type of player because of the book hello Intel trouble no offense to our Hartenstein displays and good natured but I he's going to heal broken Hartenstein if you sit near the collision the Lakers for doing that when you talk about again back up right and then also where you going like who's going to break up that is good of all them anywhere you know they've already had Clark's in it all and you know calmly hasn't even been in and they still got to figure that out and then you go kinda elsewhere and really get each it's not even work for the other teams like San Antonio not gonna go ahead and jump and add the last thing I'll point out use which is good there aren't as many punters I mean you know the Phoenix Suns have look they're having a great year but there are some interesting things with that team and they're figuring each other out now will you look at where you are in Dallas they jump all the way back into the mix they may look at you know business so that the team that I watch is it possible that you know cat or weekend read up and somebody's willing to take that money I still think that team that something was going to go all the way down to the ground I don't know if it's going to be during the season but if the cat doesn't get moved on it may be the biggest name that's moved to a team that's looking perfect remember if you trade for drum band it's probably because you're looking to get that extra you're the back row in Europe that use that got straight I'm not sure that I'm looking to Max out Andre Drummond anytime soon Mr gonna check yes they were going to fall off of an upper pony players back in the first half of the game is not going to get himself out of town I doubt we went long on the N. B. H. I only got Todd gets go one baseball question the only for me difference maker and everybody's got their own definitions fired people locally understand mine difference maker left free agent why should catch Donald I think he's the kind of guy who could take a competing team for a division two eighty world Terry's compacted take a debate all winter all that way high can take a team that's added to play on the potential competing for a division or row wildcard where is he going to land because if you don't vote several changed to good use them and need help at third base what's holding the Donald saying one thing not that he hasn't got it done yet seventh grade social punch in the middle Braves on one side panels and on the other that's where you're at now and that's where he wants to be I think the National Gallery in it in admit this but I think they felt like they were being used to up the ante and and said screw this you know maybe we'll still get Donald than what they've already got a higher offer the brave and said yes that's never a good thing so they went out there and I thought and I think with the has absolutely dominated well a at that a fantastic job because they know they were they're getting pulled back to get Strasbourg make the move that made a difference right but they they're not going to budge anymore I don't think you want to go to Minnesota we don't know the the the most desperate worked on there already in what the Dodgers swoop in this is going to come down to what is going to be the number I I still think he has the plate I absolutely think you believe that there's a good reason to believe that's where he wants to go and I think look you could sit there he's not getting five years give up the dream the Braves whatever the AAV is they're complaining about give me a little more to be the middle and get it done by your T. my team team you you grew up without war the one I grew up rooting for but now I'm a Philly guy Phillies it meant tell me why neither one of those teams should make a play for Donald well I think Philadelphia to pilot the Mets if you're ever really the question you don't like it really kind they should have gone after your Gherardi no eight the insured is never really the question so let's leave them off the board because the contract number even though I understand that what you're saying that this is gonna probably get them away from that I I personally would like to see them almost go to center field before even going to Dalton for Philly it makes a lot of sense look I think we'll be fine I thinking to reach the gore and you all could do it in till July kind of figure it out and you look at what will walk you stock is two years ago look crazy he just got a four year deal to play that position at that so I think that we will be fine I like the Phillies a lot their bullpen to me is what doesn't just talk about it now it was such a a disaster with injuries last year they had husband sitting out there among others will Harris I would like to see them get greedy they're kind of go over that isn't saying Hey look we're gonna be healthier that may work it may not but I think the nationals in the Braves bullpen triple way better the math I don't trust the million but I think the AS bounces back they'll be way better and I think the bull pen for the Phillies is the one thing right now you know doesn't get talked about that I'm like in the eye that's probably where I would have gone looking at it Daniel Hudson type three the national average your it's always a pleasure my friend Preciado guy you hop aboard yeah go watch a football game if you want to dive wasn't even to talk about that I have no idea what hates gays get you started NBA TV and hear sex and MLB network radio inside pitch is his daily cal and is to always chock full of information and opinion whenever we punch a mop I could you die now come back or you open the bones bones the rest of the way eight five five two one two four two two seven judge Mack hang with you right here on CBS sports radio the.

"I was like, if I'm only getting one I'm call on everything. And so it was a wonderful walk down. Emory lane for me everyone that I've worked with over the course of quarter-century like I got to play with, again is really sweet. So brought the scene tonight, featuring fucking Ralph just to set up where it happens in the movie, as I said before, in the Brody, seeing that's Jay and silent Bob find out that the movie happening, and they decide to go to Hollywood again, and that's like happens about fifteen seventeen minute, Mark, or something like that. So then we go to the airport. There's a scene at the airport that then leads to what you're about to see. And at the end of that scene at the airport. The boys are taught about a rideshare. It's a concept. They were not familiar with and stuff. We don't do anything like that. Because fuck paying them, so I made up a rideshare company and it's called ride me now. And so. So the boys have just found out that can take ride now cross country if they wanted to and they've downloaded the app. But of course, you know, if you're gonna use that you need a credit card and these two guys, of course, do not have a credit card. So that's where the scene takes place. One last thing I'll say is, please don't record this. We're trying to keep it fucking on the down low don't want anybody spoiling it up online and stuff like that. This is for you guys because you pay your person. So, yeah. Enjoy. So be selfish to yourself. We'll be cutting it out of the podcast as well. They'll hear everything right up until this point. And then just in the clips about to begin we'll probably leave the start of the clip in just. Holy. And then, you know. We fart sound effect in there or something during that. Yeah, that's how to make friends. But so anyway, this just for the folks here there. If you see somebody served to videotaping videotaping, not the eighties using their phone, and China shoot at man. Just be like, don't hit them. It's not a Trump rally, but just like tell them like, hey man fogging don't do that. He said, not to, and he just had a heart attack, and he came all this way say, oh boy. Throw some of that British common sense. Like that. If I you lived here, I guess they're calling it out. Oh. All right. So here we go, man. This is nobody's really seeing the movie anywhere. We never this clip. I've only brought here since we've been doing the shows, but nobody's seen in the states or anything like that. And we won't be doing it at the Babylon at home and shit's just for you guys movie comes out looks like in the fall because I'm gonna come back and be with it and stuff like that universal has it over here and stuff. So without further. Ado seen from Jane solemn reboot, featuring the great Ralph Garman. Didn't knows lights and watch a little. Kind. In, in many ways, you make the whole movie possible. "Basketball talk back OB was stop on by that. Oh, fifteen seventeen minutes from now, so you're going to want to hear that just kinda resetting obviously game to done Golden State wins. It it's now one game a piece, I started off the show like this Torres saying Toronto not only what this game slip right through their fingers. They had at one. They had a big lead in the first half, they had a five point lead at half time. They were playing at home. There was no Kevin Durant. Steph curry was ill quite Thompson. Got hurt. Steph didn't even have a great game. They west at one hundred percent. Boogie cousins Dom. Nate them. Andre tala had we've the game because he got hurt in the first half yet to ride the wasn't was not able to put them away because they weren't able to win this game. I say they lost the championship the warriors win it because that was their golden opportunity finish off and they couldn't do it now. It's one game apiece. Torres. So this is the NCAA tournament is what you're saying. But you have to look ahead write project ahead. And this was at going to nothing against the team, that's just in disarray. It would have been done, but they let the warriors back in this game. Eight twenty nothing. Run you let the warriors go at twenty. Nothing run shame on you. If you're Rondo, you don't deserve to win it when you're at home. And you let the other team going to twenty nothing run when you have the crowd and everybody the whole country pumped up and you come out like that. You don't deserve to win a Torres. Well, that's one thing I agree on the raptors didn't deserve to win it. But I choose to say that the better team did win. And it's the Golden State Warriors. Now what I would be it's both kind of just a frustration, but also a concern, why did the raptors miss so many wide open threes, because I think you can look at it and just say, hey, if they had just made one or two of them, they probably win this game, despite everything that we could say the same thing about Golden State all Golden State did not did not miss nearly. I mean we're. Talking already down the stretch. It was one oh six ninety eight for ever even thought from what we saw in game number one when when Siaka about like what thirty four points I three shots the whole game. I know. But I just feel like such a wide open shots at any professional can make and soda me. I just look at it like you make two more those they shot twenty eight percent from three and you just make two more. You're not even shooting thirty three percent on the entire game. And you win that game not to mention by the way, down the stretch, not only do they not make shots some dumb plays, which we talked about not fouling dream on. Green obviously Igwe dolla ends up wide open. I just think there were so many circumstances that where the raptors could have won this game. I know I sound like a millennial, but I just if I'm Nick nurse. I say guys we had that game that was ours. Yes. That's the speech you give if you're if you're that's the way you would you give the series is over. We just blew it. I'd hand, I'd hold up a mirror and say, look in the mirror. I'm going to show you bunch of loses just lost the championship because you let slip through your fingers kind of knuckleheads. Are you guys what I would say, okay? Bobby Knight, come down over there. But you kidding me? I'd hold up a mirror and say, we'll get yourselves. We'll look right now. You want that get that feeling again. Just went ahead and your blue game that you had one shirt tire country was rootin- yon pony up to the victory line. And even if you couldn't make shot. Yeah. Play some defense, and you don't let the warriors going to twenty nothing run. Shame on you look in the mirror of boys because that, that's a team that just may of what the NBA championships through their fingers dumb question is the entire country of Canada, not going to be behind them in game three four five six seven. I mean you ask the speech I give them I didn't say it'd be a good one. Yeah. It's, it's a c plus like your life, you know. But it's.

"Sixty fifty five okay? No. I mean, we we did some really good things on that trip. We got we were at that point. You know with our team we have to build on the positive and sometimes as a coach. You just get sucked into what you're not doing. Well, and we know what that is. But I thought both both games. We did some good things. And obviously we were able to get the win that Cal and it wasn't easy. We they made their run in the second half actually took the lead. But we both are back, and we kinda responded and and Stanford the same thing happened, but we didn't go back and respond. And that's I think it's as much of a mental thing, Mark. I think this team I've been challenged challenged every year coach. But I think this year's team is probably challenged me and inner staff more from a mental standpoint of psychological standpoint, we've talked about it many times. More. So than physical standpoint. And I think the thing about this team that you correct me if I'm wrong, maybe makes a perplexing for you. If you got a team, that's got a liability. He's not a great shooting team. That's going to be a consistent problem front. Part of the makeup of the team are going to deal with what must get a little difficult with this team is Saturday's game was a prime example. We get a chance to sit through your scouting reports. You got what you tell me about the executed what you've laid out form of the first half. Very well. They seem to forget that in some regards. Yeah. And we, you know, we had in our in our meeting today, we talked about fifteen clips, and I told them, you know, before started I said for the first eighteen minutes of that game at Stanford. I I'm not sure I've been more proud of of a group of guys in the way they've gone out and played and executed what we asked them to do it to a T and we didn't play perfect. You know, they made a couple of threes. We let silver get loose and get going a little bit one of their non-players two three. But we're up six and a half. And then boy, but the last two minutes of the half and the first probably fifteen seventeen minutes of the second half. We went brain dead. I mean, we just went brain dead. And we did not do this. I the things we were doing the first eighteen minutes that part is really hard. And I'm really challenging our guys to say, okay. You have to take ownership and tell tell me why this is happening because you're right. It's not like, oh, we can't you know, score the ball. We can't shoot the ball. Now. I will say this. It's hard to win college basketball games on the road one. You don't put the ball in the basket. And then you put a lot of pressure on your defense. But. So we we had some really good looks there at Stanford. It didn't go in. And again, the meant when I when I say to publicly that we're not tough enough for were. Our mental toughness isn't where it needs to be. It's not that. I'm saying that our kids are soft or they don't have any toughness at all. It's just when things go downhill, and they start not going referee makes it call doesn't, you know, you don't agree with or doesn't go our way. You can't let that stuff seep into your mind and affect you on the next possession. And unfortunately, that's what happens is with with his team a little bit. And we've got we've got you see it in huddle house. You know, you see teams when they huddle up quickly, and they are tight and they're together. They usually come out fighting and one of the things we we did this trip. And it's only taken me, I don't know eight and a half years to figure this out. A little slow, you know, but we started thinking that singing the fight song before the game in locker room. And I think it's really helped our I mean just to see the energy that our guys bring you know to that. And at the first time, we did it at Cal. They kinda were smirking. But then at Stanford like, okay. Yeah. This this is were we're into this. And so. Both games. Yeah. And we're we're gonna continue that we're gonna we're gonna do that every time. It's like, you know, a lot of times you do it after a win or, you know, you found the road, whatever. But I want to be a because I the one thing about our fights on. I love is is that is the word fight is in there eight times, and what we have to do on the road to win and at home to win for that matter anywhere. Is you have to fight fight fight. I mean, and and obviously not physically punching. But we got a we had a fight with our with the way we play the game the effort the effort the toughness, and we had three three times in the first half. We took charges or attempted to say charges Matan. Mckinley took to Dalen coups took a big one in our policy and the second foul. We don't put him on the bench for the rest of the half. In the second half. We had four opportunities to take charges, and we bailed out on every one of them. And that's the toughness. I'm talking like you have to make those plays in. Tight games on the road to expect to win. And you know, we didn't make them and we have to own that we have to. And so hopefully, you'll see on Thursday night. If if we get an opportunity to get charge sticking their nose in there and doing it teams is doing this long as I've done some teams that I watched him. I see guys aren't dialed in for example, through a film session with you. I watched the guys in the room. And also, you guys are dialed in their eyes are up here. There are a few guys. You've had recent years. Probably won't same here where they might have been glancing over the phone or, you know, half asleep, or whatever it might be you don't this group. He's not like that. No, they're not. So they're dialed in but something that is disconnecting it again. And again, I, you know, I just I go back to as a coach. Like you said we've had previous teams in previous players were. Like, I lay in bed Neidl think about this team. Like, I love our guys truly love coaching them. They're fun. They're great young, man. They're conscientious they want to do. Well. And but again when adversity hits, and you know, we've just we've got we've got to come together more than rather than feel sorry for ourselves. And that's sometimes what we do is our heads. Go down. We feel sorry for ourselves that we didn't make shot. We missed the free throw and part part of toughness is stepping in there and deal making a layup. Layup issue against I went back and looked at the film. I just started after the volume eight ten twelve times where you guys were inside five.

"Hire a sun person. Anyway, because I'm eleo and in the sun is our is our deal. I don't mind some rain going to rain and be done. Drizzle and spitting a little bit cold come on. What are we talking about her? Now, I think it's gonna get worse later on tonight too. So we're not done yet. So that's in the San Antonio area for those of you, not in the San Antonio area who are dealing with below zero temperatures and snow. I'm sure you think we're a bunch of wusses but get over it. This is not how we like to live in south central Texas. Right now. I last time I checked is about forty nine in San Antonio Burr. Yeah. Cold yet, Kolding, yuck. Had soup for lunch. Soup is good under the Elec. Zindi he'd like to have the soup for lunch at a day like today. All right. So here's another edition of my segment. I like to call. Customer service. Oh, that's. Today to do segment of the program. I hates. Man, right. Would go on for hours. But but let me let me throw this out there. Now. I went to go get one of those hot spots hot spot where you could you could plug it in and get the internet wherever you are. Basically our phones are all individual hot spots, but you've got to pay extra bake your phone a spot and the Foser a bunch of other stuff. So getting separate hotspot make sense really do some radio or television from elsewhere next week and go to DC, and I want to see if I can make sure that I do this and have a good back-up plan. Just in case, you know, the hotel might not have good wildfire, or whatever we just got to figure it out. So I go into a store where one would by selling their stuff. I'm not going to say the name of it. I'll give you a hint. It's got three letters starting with a, but I'm not going to say the name. Okay. Yeah. Got it. So I think that leaves a lot to the imagination in front of you. So I walk in. And this is the second time of walked into my local store with the now I've gone to the store because I don't live in San Antonio proper. But I've gone to the stores in San Antonio. And they're very prompt. Very good. In fact, I admit Felicia today was great at the store. Dented San Antonio. And will. Oh. So I walk in. And this is the set what polo? I was just curious if you told her by. I did not say by Felicia how come on. I did not I should have. I had an opportunity. She was too nice though. I do not wanna say I did not want to do that to her. So I walk into the the named a store in my area, which is north of San Antonio. I don't know it can be and and I've done this before about about a month ago walked into the same store, and what happens is you walk in. And nobody says anything to you. Nice store. It's clean. It's it's it appears to be inviting. He's got this the atoms wanna by. But nobody says anything and there appear to be two people working there. One is is helping somebody, and is helping the other somebody something right there helping people who were here before I am at school. Say Hello acknowledge me. Hey, we're with guys will be with you, the second something like that would make sense the keep in mind, I'm an old timey pizza guy. And if somebody walk into the pizza store, and I'm answered the phone taking orders or making peaches or dropping wings, or do whatever I have to do you always be with you the second because you you want their money. Walk has some money. I'm gonna walk out. Probably exactly. So if you want me to give you my money, and I'm very to give you my money that I worked hard for. Just just say Hello. If you turn around and said, hey, can't wait to get your money. That's stolen work for me. Why not so so that was a month ago says and I left at in about seven minutes. Nobody said a word I left right today. I walk in and. I don't know if this is the same people working there different people working there. There's there's a beer guy and then other person, and they both have shirts on that would denote. They work for the store. Sure. Let me set the scene. So I walk in and first of all I get it. I'm intimidating and wearing a tank top. And nobody was. It's wet and call a tank low out, I'm not gonna work out in a pair of jeans a long sleeve. We'll put a jacket on before you put a jacket on. Thanks. So I walk in and to the left. There is a guy customer owner of no clue who the guy is. He sitting there on a charity. He's got his his legs straight out. Maybe waiting for a phone. I don't know. And he's talking to somebody on his cell phone. And he's yelling about what car he wants to buy. Okay. All right. Whatever I I'm not sure why you're doing this in the middle of the cellular phone store. But okay to my right is a woman who's having a full on conversation on speaker phone with somebody about something. And seriously, I can't stand that don't do that. He's got on a speakerphone. She's holding those watching on on the livestream. I'm doing it. Right now has. She's talking to the person that way knowing into the phone. Well, then. What is going on here? Now, why did he phone etiquette anymore? Nobody so off to the left and a little bit in front of the car guy is a woman who appears to be working. They're very nice, very very congenial. Helping a guy he's looks like he's buying an ipad as I'm standing there. A guy walks in behind me looks at me gives me the head nod which is customary for a man to give another man ahead of how you doing right? He looks around a little bit. Nobody nobody notices him either. Go straight to the bathroom spends about seven minutes in there. So we what he did. Oh, and then walks out so for him. It's just the bathroom. Oh, wow. And then straight in front of me as a couple. We're a beer guy. Who's wearing a shirt that we didn't have any works. There is helping them and purpose. People are purposely turning their back to the door. So they don't have to greet people who walk in again. I don't want people to say only got joepags. None of that ever. I don't expect that I just expect that I'm walking with money, and you would like to have some of it. That's all. And if you don't I'm gonna leave. So is there a good fifteen seventeen minutes? Nobody ever said a word. Wow. And I made this announcement what the heck is wrong with this store. And turned around and walked out that was it that was it. And I'm sure that that the the mutterings after I left words that was probably exactly is there a long time. And you know, what people are busy, and I wanted to go saving by a hot spot probably would've cost me to three hundred dollars or something. I would have dumped some money on the company that I'm going to giving too much money to and at the end of the day. What I had was a bunch of a doofus now when I walked into the other store in San Antonio is completely redeem themselves for people greeted me, how are you doing? What can we do for you today? And that story know that they'll take your name. They'll put you on the computer screen. You'll know what in what order your in your so happen? They had three or four customers and probably four or five people to help and they were willing to help immediately. And I said, I let me just vent for a second. And I told Felicia baffling, I told her the story of the other store she said, oh, yeah. That's that's different. I guess they have corporate stores, and they have like franchise stores or something. A different kind of store. Okay. I'm just here to say if you're going to fly that banner that you're a store that represents that humongous company. You should probably ask the person who walks in the door if you could have their money and treat them like a customer. So are you going ever going back to that store now that you've had to I don't think so? It's about four miles from my house. It's very close. Yeah. And it would make much more sense. But I'll go the extra ten miles fifteen miles whatever to get into San Antonio. And do it that way because they just seem to get it better. And there's a reason why the store never has. But to customers in it because they can't handle more than two customers at a time or other people have experienced the same thing. Now friends will immediately say, well, maybe they know that it's you and me they don't like your show or whatever that's a possibility. But let me say this. If you don't like my politics or my show like my green exactly it's still gonna give them money. So what's the difference? Like my money pays your salary. So even if you don't like me, and I'm not Hetty enough to think that that's why they're doing it. I just think they didn't want to help another person or they didn't want to say something. And I think sometimes I've never been into the genius bar. That's that's the apple store. Right. They called the genius bar. Are there have been in there? But we did Louise last week at the north star mall. I walked by that store a couple of times I looked in there, and they all seem to be engaged as well. And I would think anybody's gonna be duty but their noses up. It would be the apple store because it's all Fru Fru in all new age and all this crap. They all look to be engaged in. They'll look to be helpful. How how is it that you succeed as a company doling at anything? No matter what the product is. If you're not gonna pay attention to the customer. That's good. That's that's very sad. But it actor. So now, I didn't end up buying the hot spot talk to Felicia. And there are some other opportunities. I can use with my phone, and she actually saved me some money, whereas the other people probably would you take my money talk about. Yeah. So there you go just throwing it out there on a Friday just on a look somebody going to be shopping if you're not shopping already they will be soon and plenty of shopping is going on when you walk in. There's an expectation is they're not let like we walk through the mall last because I said and did you walk by these kiosks here are like seventeen year olds all working these kiosks doing nothing. They're all staring straight at their phone. Yeah. I saw that they're staring straight at their phone making twelve dollars an hour and complaining about hard. They worked today. Exactly. Yeah. We need to as as as a free enterprise capitalistic society, retrain people on how to get the money. Oh, I agree. And this is for me is that sometimes I am shocked when I get good customer service. And that shouldn't be you.

But I'm almost surprised sometimes when I get it because a lot of times, I don't it's so strange to me because the whole objective is to a move up in your company make more money for yourself. Make more money for your company's. How you get there? You don't just walk around with a face ongoing. I'm really put out right show. Somebody. Right. It's so strange. I remember purposely, and I knew what I was going in the mall, but purposely a couple of times actually was lost. Once but purposely a couple of times, I asked one of these kiosks people, did, you know, where this place was that place was just to make them do something. Hourly wait for a second worst. I wonder this in the season, we're we're all supposed to be so cheery and everybody's out shopping for the holidays. Are you finding good customer service bad customer service?.

Nobody nobody notices him either. Go straight to the bathroom spent about seven minutes in there. So we don't what he did. Oh. Walks out. So for him. It's just the bathroom. Wow. And then straight in front of us a couple we're a beard guy. Who's wearing a shirt that we didn't have any works. There is helping them and purpose. These people are purposely turning their back to the door. So they don't have to greet people who walk in. Again. I don't want people say only got joepags. Turned around and walked out. That was it. And I'm sure that that the the mutterings after I left words that was probably. A long time. And you know, what people are busy, and I wanted to go saving by a hot spot probably would have cost me to three hundred dollars or something. I would have dumped some money on the company that I'm already giving too much money to and and at the end of the day what I had was a bunch of a doofus now when I walked into the other stories San Antonio completely redeem themselves for people greeted me, how are you doing? What can we do for you today story know that they'll take your name? They'll put you on the computer screen. You'll know what in what order your in issue? So happened they had three or four customers are probably four or five people to help and they were willing to help immediately. And I said, I let me just vent for a second. And I told Felicia badly, I told her the story of the other store she said, oh, yeah. That's that's a different. I guess they have corporate stores, and they have like franchise stores or something in a different kind of store. I'm just here to say if you're gonna fly that banner that you're a store that represents that humongous company. You should probably ask the purse. Who walks in the door. If if you could have their money and treat them like a customer. So are you going ever going back to that store now that you've had to I don't think? So it's about four miles from my house. It's very close. Yeah. And it would make much more sense. But I'll go the extra ten miles fifteen miles whatever to to get into San Antonio. And do it that way because they just seem to get it better. And there's a reason why they're stored never has. But to customers in it because they can't handle more than two customers at a time or other people have experienced the same thing. Now friends will immediately say, well, maybe they know that it's you and me they don't like your show, or whatever, you know. That's a possibility. But let me say this. If you don't like my politics or my show like Mike Reid exactly you're still going to give them money. So what's the difference? Like, my money you pays your salary. So even if you don't like me, and I'm not Hetty enough to think that that's why they're doing it. I just think they didn't want to help another person or they didn't want to say something. I've never been into the genius bar. That's that's the apple store. Right. They called the genius bar. Are there have been in there? But when we did Louise last week of the north star mall. I walk by that store a couple of times I looked in there, and they all seem to be engaged as well. And I would think anybody's gonna be studio put their noses up. It would be the apple store because it's all fruit fruit and all new age and all this crap. They all look to be engaged in. They'll look to be helpful. How how is it that you succeed as a company doling anything? No matter what the product is. If you're not going to pay attention to the customer. That's good. That's that's walking. So now, I didn't end up buying the hot spot talk to Felicia. And there are some other opportunities I can use with my phone, and she actually saved some money. Whereas the other people probably have taken my money talk about that spot. Yeah. There you go just throwing it out there on a Friday just going to be shopping at they're not shopping already. They will be soon and plenty of shopping is going on when you walk in. There's an expectation is they're not like we walk through the mall last week as I said, and did you walk by these kiosks here are like seventeen year olds all working these kiosks doing nothing. Yeah. I saw that they're staring straight at their phone making twelve dollars an hour and complaining about how hard they work today. Exactly. Yeah. We need to as as as a free enterprise capitalistic society, retrain people on how to get the money. I agree. And this thing is for me is that sometimes I am shocked when I get good customer service. And that shouldn't be you should always strive to give your customers. Good service. But I'm almost surprised sometimes when I get it because a lot of times, I don't it's so strange to me because the whole objective is to a move up in your company make more money for yourself. Make more money for your company's. How you get there? You don't just walk around with a face ongoing really put out right now gonna go show somebody. Right. It's so strange, and I remember purposely, and I knew where I was going in the mall, but purposely a couple of times actually it was lost. Once but purposely a couple of times, I asked one of these kiosks people to wear this place was that place was just to make them do something. I wanted to earn your hourly wage for a second. Worst wonder this in the season, we're we're all supposed.

"Great one of the grades and his jobs a lot easier. Now that we actually have a relationship with the Mets after the ice age of five years and. How are you doing great? You know, you guys are interrupting by watching of the Red Sox victory parade. Right now. I am as a matter of fact. Yes, I have it right here. I'm familiar with where they're going. That's why my old hometown. Oh, I see. Yeah. That's nice watching the duck boats in that lot of people there. That's for sure. I know this doesn't mean anything but a year ago at this time, I think I said to you. I said Eddie I want Alex Korda manage this team. But why the heck would he take this job? The Red Sox. I've been here. Later. He did a pretty good job. I would say this year. Just you know, he. I think he checked off all the boxes pretty much. It's amazing. That worm is. I mean, it's amazing how like the Red Sox now like the cursor Bambino would that really exist? Apparently, not in this century. Apparently, not they basically become the Yankees. That's what they are. Yeah. It's a nice there. There were well, listen, they were the best team in baseball. And sometimes you don't see the best team in baseball. Right. They did they did this year. That is true. Why? Because this disappointed me, I have to admit because I was looking forward to the press comment. Why was it caught off after five minutes? It felt I can't that's up. I turn to whoever was next to me at the time. And and said that was quick it ended abruptly prematurely. I I don't you know, they did do one on ones later. But actually, we we talked a long time with Brody I probably about fifteen seventeen minutes or so everyone kind of punched around them because there were a lot of questions that were left unanswered at the press conference. I thought so I don't know. I can't answer that was that was planned beforehand or not, but Harold carpenters, the PR guy just cut it off right there. So yeah, it was after about ten minutes, or so I think even Brody mentioned afterwards it he he thought that it was a little bit short. But it was. I like this move. I really do it. So unmet like it really is. It's so non meat like that. I absolutely love this. I hope I'm still loving eight like two years from now. But it really is. I mean, I maybe maybe they actually hit on something here with this guy. I it's hard to say Joe, we're gonna find out. I think you know, there's there's been a lot of bluster about, you know, it's not conventional not traditional and that isn't that's obvious. But whether whether it's gonna work or not, we know what we heard hear a lot of catchphrases yesterday, a lot of broad strokes collaboration culture, positively sustainable winning. And all that, and yeah, that's that's a broad brush. You gotta get down to specifics eventually on they will. But you know, I felt all along that you know. Listen, I personally I thought Doug Melvin was the best candidate. I heard anyway. But actually, he was the only one that actually spoke with the media after his interview, we didn't we never heard from bloom. We never heard from van lagging and and I thought Doug did a great job in answering questions. And and apparently, maybe not as good a job or whatever. But you know in the actual interview. I I'm I'm I'm sure he was fine. But I've always felt that. The input from management is probably not going to change. And I I think that he's very comfortable with Brody bandwagon, and Jeff in particular, but Jeff and Fred. So I think you move from there at least in that regard. I if the if the input is not going to change at all. And if they're still going to have as as much input as they've had in the past as owners, then you might as well have somebody there who gets along with them, very well. And can maybe navigate that either better or, you know, more positively or or somehow convinced them they have input when they really don't. Do things Brody wants to do. But he's so good at manipulating. Them into thinking it was their decision. But that's very possible. That's very possible. I mean, you know, listen, guys. There was a lot of talk yesterday to about you know, the the resources are available. You know, he talked about investing in scouting investing in analytics they obviously have to increase the analytical department the three the number three. Now, that's obvious a health and wellness and all this stuff. And and he said, you know, resources are available. We'll that would also include resources to go out and buy some players to and get some free agent is that available. It hasn't been in the past. You know, they're they're pretty much up against what their normal budget, or, you know, their average budget has been for the last three or four seasons are on one hundred and fifty million there about so they're pretty much up against that now. So if they're gonna go out and get people they're going to have to expand on that. So we'll see if the resources are available in that regard. You no. Look, I mean to me that's the Evan heated on the convince them that. Hey, if I'm Brodie van wagon. I go in there. And I say, look I got the plan all in front of me about how much money that they are going to eventually make if they sign Manny Machado. I really I mean it's similar to what happened with twenty years ago. Look look at this. You bring in his thought play at a fan base is going to be delirious. Let's be honest about it. I mean, come on the fan base would be like, the maybe not because they'd be so shocked that it would happen and integrate, you know, to go out there and bring this guy in that may turn everything around form, and how much money they're gonna make with fans in the seats of maybe there, I say winning baseball. How about that? I I'm not expecting Manny Machado to be here. But that's he said he will talk to every free agent. That's out there. We'll see if that happens. But yeah, I think he knows I think he has a pretty good tab on you know, what what this team needs. And that's from talking with some of the clients have which are many on Seymour former clients, I guess, I should say, you know, which is a little minefield that he's got to get by. But he'll be recused on some of the negotiations, and you know, proceed from there, but we'll we'll see how they attack. And you know, he talked a lot about improving up the middle. And I need a catcher. Yes, they need to catch your eye center fielder. Yes, they probably knew center or to and there are other things that they have their. They obviously have to improve the bullpen. Close your way any needs help. Oh, don't get me wrong. But I probably their biggest problem because I think in this day and age even with a rotation like they have you gotta get nine ounce a game. No question. They don't have that. They really eat to fix this bullpen. Yeah. They do. I think they have to guys out there. But you know, that Lugo, but at the same time, you know, that that's still leaves a lot of people that you've got to replace. They've tried over the last couple of years, you know, to bring in guys who with big arms that might make it that have been on the fringes of other organizations, and it really hasn't panned out. So you know, they've got to go out to me they have to go out and get a closer. And and another guy as well out there, definitely. And then kind of move from there. But they they need help in that bullpen in the worst way. I guess Mickey Callaway stain van wagon and made it sound. Like, there's no doubt. He's staying right. Yes. Yeah. I don't think I don't think there was much question on that lets the fact that he has two more years left on the contract. I think the way they finished. Obviously helped they played better in the second half that helped him for sure. But yeah. Well, the new guy coming in, and it doesn't guarantee anything. But listen, I I think that he they're gonna talk I guess next week supposedly. And you know, he'll be back. Definitely. I mean, he got he kind of rubber stamped out yesterday. One thing see that the Mets have done. I've learned is that they say a lot of things, and then they don't actually back it up. They do a lot of lying is very strong. So I'll say they say things, and then they don't do it. So Jeff wilpon said, I think he said that Brody has the opportunity to do what he wants it. Those three guys J JP with Omar with John Recco. I expect all three of them to be back. The other thing Jeff said is that I don't myself. Well, I think I think all Mars definitely back. I don't on the other end. And I don't know I didn't talk to JPS today. But I think JP yelp. He has a contract for another year. And I'm I'm I don't know per se. I really don't like I said I have not spoken with him. But I would not be surprised if he goes just the way the bandwagon. Phrased it yesterday, you know, we will have conversations I will have conversations this week with them. So obviously, they're they're going to talk. I think I hope that Ricco stays because you know, John, listen, John good. He's he's a good person. Number one. He's a great rules person. He's a great contract guy. You know? I know he's been passed over a number of times it might be uncomfortable for him. But you know, I think John deals with that probably better than a lot of people shadow would. But I I would love to see him back. I think he will be here. I think he's kinda the middle guy. I think almost definitely here. I'm not sure which already is. And I think and I hope that John is that's fine. What about when Jeff wilpon said that there, and I think. Brody as well that they are going to expand the resources when it comes to scouting. And the department is that true or those words, well, it's like I said, you know, what would be free agent money to. I mean, he he they talked about that yesterday. Yeah. Resources are available and they said they're going to invest in scouting they're going to invest in analytics, they're going to invest in health and wellness. Yeah. Are you going to invest in creations? You know as well. I mean, I I don't know that it was said yesterday. Like, I said, you know, the they one is they're always a lot of you know, kind of broad strokes and catchphrases, and that's fine. Because you know, you you paint a broad picture of where you wanna go and what you wanna do. And there was a lot of positive stuff thrown out there yesterday. Now, can you back it up, and you know, are those resources is going to be available. I don't know all we're we're going to have to wait and find out over time sometimes in the past that hasn't been the case is this a Donovan new era. Well, we'll see I guess we'll see. The garage contract on Eddie. It surely sounds like that's going to happen. You know, I I mean, he's obviously very aware of what Jake is this. Obviously he's been there guy. You know? I mean, he's he's gonna win a young here in whatever it is November eleventh or twelve whatever the date is and. In talking with Jake during the year. Listen, he he loves it. He loves us organization at the same time. You know, you wanna young it's not gonna come easy. Okay. The price isn't going down. So that's that's something. That's they better be. I'm sure there are probably aware of at least if not they should be the prices is not going to go down after that Cy Young award rise to Guam household. So there will be no bargains. Let's put it that way. Even though I think Jake loves it here. And I think he would like to stay here. I think he's always felt that way. But I think also he feels that something should have been done before this agree with them..

"Ken Thompson, Brad powers. Joe Lisi is with us as well. As I told you on that pregamEcom celebrity guests when we left off on south Alabama Appalachian state would jump into a team that got upset on the road last week at Old Dominion biggest win for ODU in the biggest upset so far in this college football world army came close to taking that out against Oklahoma. But they lost in overtime. A Norman meanwhile, Duke is minus four and a half at home fifty the total against tech Joe Lisi what about it can bounce back. I mean, they're they're a team that again still minus their starting quarterback. But can they stick another loss on V T again, Josh Jackson, not going to go? Yeah. I mean, you would think is the better team heading into this matchup, and I'm gonna win with Virginia. Tech your Ryan Lewis is a former Kansas quarterback. He looked okay. To me in the fourth quarter has got some players, especially their center heading into this matchup backup. That's gonna put a lot of pressure in of the offense line. And this is Virginia. Chuck defense still only allowing eighty rushing yards per game. They allowed six hundred thirty insurance too Old Dominion the most yards bud foster defense over the last twenty six years. I think you're going to get a bounceback effort here. And I like Virginia Tech they want this ballgame twenty four to three in Blacksburg last year. I think they're alive dog in this match up. Yeah. Virginia Tech side. Although I I got a call before the show. One of my guys at fouls, Duke. Religiously one of the very few guys that files Duke football. Religiously says there's a good possibility. Daniel Jones quarterback my play. He's already back from an injury thought to be out a month are more cut could start in this game. So that'd be my only trepidation here. But the hokies bounce back in back effort here lean on. All right. We'll see what happens there. Meanwhile, we'll go to the sunbelt with Louisiana Monroe, minus seven there's some six and a half out there. But here the golden nugget Louisiana Monroe warhawks warhawks, minus seven eating money, sixty two the total. I would take Louisiana Monroe laying seven points dot sold on Georgia state. I think enroll can play well and then cover this number on the road Saturday afternoon. Brad. Yeah. I got to go with my numbers number say, Georgia state, although. You know, I am the cap to Joe a little bit there because I think my numbers on a little high. They also said to take them last week against western Michigan that didn't work out. So well for me. Meanwhile, the Yankees have clinched home field advantage in that wildcard game against the Oakland. A's next game up on the docket, Massachusetts at Ohio. They'll be an Athens where the Bob cats are minus thirteen and a half sixty eight and a half Joe. I'm not sold on higher this year, especially on the defensive side of the ball for Frank show, which defense allowing thirty seven points per game. But more importantly, the secondary still around three hundred and eighty yards per game. I think the better quarterback here. Still in my opinion is Andrew Curtis over Nathan walking Maxwell saw to thirteen on the road show up against the bobcats and sold in the snatch up. Yeah. I if I got to see if Andrew four dot plays. I mean, keep in mind he didn't play last week. You know, Michael Curtis said did a decent job had four total touchdowns and the winning cover over Charlotte last week. Now with Joe just generally speaking, no matter who lines up buying center for UMass that they got to be the play can't trust Ohio lane two touchdowns here, especially with that defense. All right guys me just log back in here as we get on rolling here about fifteen seventeen minutes till the top. And we'll keep on rolling next game on the docket. We've got Pittsburgh and central Florida..

"This is a regulation is not legislation you can encourage your a legislators to come up with some kind of legislation that would stop this as rich collins said you can't just just do this through regulation well i think they can because they're gonna try and then you're going to have one of two ways to cut hermanus and that would be one dive your lawmakers overrule override eternal i don't see why they would be doing this i'll explain why in the second and second of all the only thing you can do is to be a lawsuit and how many parents in delaware really have the time and the money to spend on suing the department of education for this regulation may i mean it i just don't think that there are enough to be able to fund an and fight this regulation and then what what's what's the punitive action you know who who has to pay a price for this and i don't think anybody does on the wdbo dot com and delaware 105 dot com website you have the ondemand tab and look for the name rick jensen here's why some time may be this weekend maybe this evening you go to that on demand tab and listen to the conversation i had with jesse chatterton jesse chattered and who is executive director of the delaware democratic party we had a good conversation about this and i say good because it was back and forth the he got to say everything you want to say and i got to ask just about all the questions i want to ask bottom line is my goal in this conversation was to find out what the democrats in delaware are thinking what's behind this regulation why why are they are so adamant about this nobody else was asking the question of ideology nobody else was asking the question what brings you to this was the thought process and when you listen to the conversation i think it's about twenty minutes in and then maybe about fifteen seventeen minutes and and then in the second half hour we learn the two ideological building blocks for this regulation number one institution outweighs the individual the institution is greater better stronger has more authority than the individual number two child's rights outweigh parents rights now if you're hearing days thinking like who's this guy jensen he's of easy making the stuff up as crazy who would.
