"In your little amusement park. And so it's definitely delightful. Do I need to do this again? No. I expect as the tech gets better, it will be delightful and a higher tech way. I can totally imagine in 5 years or maybe even sooner putting on a pair of VR goggles and walking around in Facebook's metaverse. And having a fun time now, I think that the pitch of the metaverse is that this is how we'll live. And this is really how we'll shop and we'll really exist in this space. And that's what I'm pretty skeptical of. Yeah, I think that's what's tripping me up. There was a guy you spoke to in your piece, dedrick Boyd, who said that the metaverse is bringing back the human factor in shopping, which I don't want it brought back. Human interaction is not what I'm looking for when I'm shopping online. And I say this as a person whose first job in high school was working at a Ralph Lauren retail outlet where my job was to stand at the door, re fold the sweater piles and say, how may I help you today, ma'am? Nobody wants it. Nobody wants to be helped today, ma'am. Now, my conversation with dijkstra was really interesting because he was so excited about the metaverse. And the potential and he works with luxury companies where if you think about a Gucci store or what's another expansive brand. What's another Louis Louis fendi fendi Prada. So any of those places, you're not paying thousands of dollars for a bag just for the bag. You might be paying thousands of dollars to the bag in part because of how going to the store makes you feel talking to a shopping associate having them give you a cost of champagne being out with your Friends. I was not doing any of this at the outlet mall. Yes, this is not my lifestyle either. So from his perspective, we're going to have a future where that experience is replicated in 3D where if your other rich lawyer friends live other places around the country, you all can gather at a store and have a little private shopping event together. That's kind of what they're going for. The whole thing does feel a little like an idea conjured up by someone who hasn't been into a mall in the last 20 years. Congratulations. You've invented a thing that already existed and died. And if real life malls can't stay open, why does anyone think of virtual version of a dead thing? Will fare better? I just like if I can't get an angio pretzel in the metaverse. I don't really know what the point is. Is that when do we get smell? Is that? Do we have to be in like 5D? I think that's like an actual point from Brave New World. I don't know. I love, I do. I love that we can set a watch by the tech world reinventing the wheel. Do you remember a couple years ago when Lyft announced Lyft shuttle? Oh my God. Which was they had invented a bus. I think that the metaverse isn't even reinventing malls. It's reinventing the Sims, like some of these people just don't know that you can go play the Sims, which is a very fun game. At some point they're going to be private metaverse, where you can make a character and design a house without talking to real other human beings and we're just going to go for it. Can you go woohoo in the metaverse at this point? I do not know if you can go move on the metaverse. I know that you probably can't lock yourself in a room and just pee on the floor. God, and we want to reference to the sentence. We're having a lot of fun here in the podcast studio. It's late today. So I think you're right when you say that this could be a lucrative thing for luxury brands who have always catered. To shoppers who expect an experience while they're shopping that isn't just like the pure transaction of money for good. But it's hard to believe that this is going to expand out to a broader audience. You mentioned at the top that McDonald's is getting into the metaverse. What is the difference between me walking into the virtual metaverse to place my double cheeseburger order versus pauling out an app? It is, it does seem a lot more converse. And to be totally clear, I think that we're pretty far right now. By which in tech terms I mean like two years from this tech being at a place where the women in my life who can afford Gucci where I can imagine them wanting to navigate this space. Yeah, I think there's certainly a possible future where the metaverse does take hold and becomes a part of our daily shopping life, but we're certainly nowhere near this place. So instead, it's a mediocre rendering invitation of a former emblem of American capitalism. That doesn't even, as you said, come with the delightful scent of an Annie Ann's pretzel. If I don't feel like sick and like I need to take a grease nap, what I'm done shopping at a mall, did you even go to a mall? You're speaking my language. All right, that's the show. We'll be back in your feet on Saturday, so please subscribe. It is the best way to make sure that.

"Designer and another company doing another thing, if you have more and more options or more iterations of options for designers to choose from and for companies of all size to choose from, then it's not about whether or not you want to choose the sustainable route. It's about which sustainable route you choose. And they become the norm. Yes. 100% well sad. Yeah. Sometimes you do some dumb shit. And sometimes you make some clothes I don't like. But this is very good. I like it a lot. I like to speak directly to the fashion designers because I know they all listen. They all do. Hey, Friends. Hello. Call me. In a completely unrelated story. There's no threat you can pull from broccoli to cotton to this. I am sure the cotton will be used in some iteration of these following products. Thank you. Thank you for humoring me. Our fendi and Kim Kardashian partnering. This is the question. Send Asian? Almost. Like people are already talking about that because of. Yes. This is a rumor. But this is also a rumor that WWD did a report on. So it is a highly substantiated rumor. So it's looking kind of good. Images leaked on Instagram, that vindi has a collaboration in the works with this skims brand. And it may drop in November. How this came out is that a personal shopper in the UK posted a bunch of pictures on her Instagram stories of midi and bodycon dresses and she said that she's taking pre orders for the items. She quickly took them down. Oh, girl. She violated an embargo. I was like, something was embargoed. Now, the reason why there might be something to this is that Timothy was seen at fendi's headquarters earlier this year. I don't know if you remember this, but it was a new story for a little while. And everybody was like, why is she there? What is she doing? What's happening? I think this was it. I think they will work on something. I will attend. Do you think you think it's a good idea? Yes, why the heck not why, why not? As someone who spent some time on the skims website. Recently. Bought nothing, but looked. Ah. I'm intrigued. Yeah. Fendi has been known to partner with some really fun, interesting people. Her skims line is doing very well. Maybe this is a much more natural partnership than we ever thought. Yeah, like you said these two names. And I was like, oh yeah, yeah. I can see that. It's not a stretch by any means. It's a good business for fendi too. I mean, even if it's a small collection, just the social media recognition and branding that will come out of this. It's going to be huge. Because of her following. Such a weird thing to say that fendi needs Kim Kardashian's social presence to boost their brand, but it's not going to hurt. I don't know if that's even it. I don't know if they need her, but I think you're right. It's not gonna, it's not gonna hurt. It might get them in front of a different type of audience that normally think, oh, I can't afford that to think, oh, but maybe I can afford this, maybe this is something that I can kind of play around with. Not that it's going to be, I don't think it's going to be cheap at all. I just mean that the skims price point is a much more doable price point than. Right. And so are you creating a more accessible sort of like a diffusion almost to get people in the door as they're building brand affinity? Or they're going to be like, no, no, this can be full price. These prices are going to be high. Who knows? And people will buy it because Kim had a hand in making it. And she has so many fans, right? Yeah. Yeah, there's no way this can go wrong. I mean, there's always a way. I mean, there is. Come on. There is. There are several ways it could remember that time she was gonna name that brand something else. Okay. Yeah. So this could this could have a little hiccup. But as a business decision to work together on something, I think that's very smart. That's the end of our fashion news moving on to listener letters. As I dig up some listener letters from the files here, I just want to put a little bug in y'all's ear, that Thanksgiving weekend,.
Aeffe to Acquire Full Control of Moschino
"Group i africa now owns masino. One of the top two brands. I routinely mispronounce. What's the other one lisa. Because she she see you. Did you just did it. I know because. I had to think about it. I was thinking hard. I wasn't going off the cup. This brand had a seventy percent stake in mosquito since one thousand nine hundred nine which was a couple of years after the death of the brand's founder franco most keno. He had started the brandon. Nineteen eighty-three and and actually. Since the beginning. I had been licensed partner and production and distribution partner for its men's and women's collection so they have been working hand in hand for almost forty years now owns one hundred percent. It bought the remaining thirty percent of the company for a combination of cash and other capital amounting to about sixty six million euros. Yes sabrina that is a lot of money. it really is. If you've never heard of it was started by alberta ferretti and her brother. The group also owns alberta freddie though mar blue girl cacharel amazon. Paul got i was looking up something about this story and happened upon an old new york times article from nineteen ninety nine. It was about the original. I ifm majority by of mosquito commented on other recent acquisitions by lvmh prada fendi. So nothing really changes. I was a little worried about them until you said that. They have been working together for decades. Now i'm not so worried like they understand who they're dealing with. They will let this brand continued to be lovely and weird. Which is how i like them.

Do you know what that is? I mean, I guess it's your boyfriend. Yeah, but I mean, what's his? What's in our baby? Green writer? I don't know. Okay. Okay, so he's a somebody. He's just not a somebody We know that's true. Yeah, Yeah, She's young. She's 26. But I don't know that wasn't once considered young to have a baby, but I want it. I think I had my first baby when I was 27. I think that seems so young to me. But I didn't have my first baby till I was 33 feels young to me now, too. Yeah, I'm sure it does. Just so you know, once you have 35 your geriatric pregnancy just know that I've been called a twice and I feel okay about it. Um Kate Moss and her daughter, Lila, hitting the runway together. In Paris Fashion Week daughter 18 Everybody We've grown up with his Children. I know and she's stunning and looks fabulous on a runway. Not surprising, so they're modeling. Kim Jones is debut collection for Fendi. And they walked down together, so there were all sorts of other top supermodels there. Naomi Campbell, Bella Hadid care, Cara Delevingne, So they're all there. And, um Kate is 47 her daughter. Is 18. Can I just say when you look at a side by side pictures of the two of them? Yeah, it looks like somebody used some sort of aging somewhere. It's very unsettling. Yes, also kind of amazing because if you look at the photos, so they're wearing vastly different outfits, But if you just look at their faces, they did like this part down the middle and then, like wet looks slicked back hair with, like a few. Strands like separated but slicked down to their head on each side, and they did it the same with both of them and they have the same ears and they have the same face shape. It literally is a justice. It is. It's bizarre trip. I just like what if your parents were a models? And you were just, you know, so self just average would feel very bad. I just feel like you'd look even worse than you actually mean like it is all comparison. Right? You can have a whole group of people. You could have the hottest person in that group of people. But that hot person could go into a group of way hotter people, and then they would be considered the least top person in that group. Gosh, that's a lot of pressure. Have to find the rest of them are very blessed that my parents weren't model uglier. Pick up their friends. It's been my motto. Hey, guys, How's it going today? So rude? Yeah, but there are people who like to be the most attractive person in a relationship and they choose their partners accordingly. And that's a real strange thing. It's awkward, and there is a theory about as women. In heterosexual relationships, not dating someone who is prettier than you because what is that? That comes with some challenges. I guess I just never thought about that so much. Well, that's your better person. A lot of people think about that. Thanks. You look about. Like what? Who they look like and what I mean, you know people are shallow. Have you seen found about what have you met people? I have met people. Yeah, you're super. That's why that's why. In this moment, the sort of way that we've had toe like regard lives in different ways has been a blessing. Those of us who just don't want to be burdened by caring about what other people think of us as we walk through the world, because I'm like here. My two options for closed today. Yeah, exactly. That's how I feel. Post baby. Should I wear the black jeans that fit me or the one pair of denim jeans that fit me? But isn't there a piece of you that sort of appreciates the fact that you get to walk through the world? Like this minimalist way Now I do really like it. Well, I'm doing this challenge. You know, one thing a day. I'm trying to do it where I get rid of one thing every day. How's it going? It's going really well. Yesterday, I brought Steve Patterson to cedar planks to cook salmon on and a veggie fish basket for his grill. I love that. That was actually three things I got rid of in one day, So that's nice, because that means you can bank him for later. And then I'm being time for later. I've been inspired by a woman named Christine. She runs the Afro minimalist instagram page. And she is fantastic, and she launched this challenge at the beginning of the year, So I follow her. And then I get inspiration for things to get rid off. I love that Afro minimalist. If you wanna follow Christine, she's awesome. She's really, really inspiring. You also appreciate that you're adding to other people's lives. I know I got rid of three things and gave three things to see. There you go. He was very excited. He also didn't realize that there was a bonus forth because I gave him a reusable bag. I put it all in a reusable tote bag you to him. Love it. Don't you guys have bags of bags and always always always always time to get rid of Kim Kardashian. This is the headline from US Weekly Today..
Do One Thing Differently
"Presently. We posted a question on our website. We asked what one thing would make your life better and we got three thousand eight hundred and forty responses almost immediately to that one question. What would make your life better. It's an interesting question to ask yourself right now. If i were to answer that question. Because i have a pretty good life i have to say. It's a wonderful life and what you see on. The outside is one thing but really i think the greatest thing about my life is that i have a great sense of inner peace that is sort of indescribable. But what would really make my life. Better is if these boots that i'm wearing today had come in a size ten instead of a size nine and a half because i was in that little fendi store and i you know how you really like it a lot and the lady says. I'm sorry we only have a half but they run big my feet not feeling that they run big right now so that would have made my life better if they came in size ten. All i can ask or some folks. Chicago had definite ideas though about the one thing that would improve their lives thing that my life better would be a fulltime housekeeper tans down probably a fulltime unpaid life assistance to follow me around and do whatever i needed them back and design my own man who have them show up whenever i want have believe whenever i want. Someone could walk my dog when it's raining or when it's snowing a couple extra hours in the day one thing that would definitely make my life better is if i could have lunch with your we shop and you can do my hair and then i can do your hair personal shopper. Drive through starbucks so i wouldn't have to get out of my car. Free parking thing that would make my life better is paying less taxes in each magic degree. better johnson. definitely more sleep. No telemarketers ever called. Our home in telemarketers are getting bad. aren't they so bad. I answered the phone so much. So now i answered the phone illu the other night i got one and they say you know just the owner of the home. No it was my answer. Some of the answers we got online. Where a little unusual light brook from colorado. Who wrote the one thing that would make my life better would be if someone would invent a portable doggy door. That's interesting that fits into sliding glass doors. Is well insulated and doesn't take handyman to install portable doggy door. Some of them were kind of pie in the sky to have a car and a driver. Someone said that's a nice thing someone to come in and do my hair and my daughter's here every morning that's good. I have that too. That's really that is really good. I know people say to me. How do you get your head like that. you yours could too if you had. Andre should see me on the weekend but we really won't go to the grocery store and the people you know 'cause usually you know people have a reaction because you walk in it's open then they don't know who i am have to say. Hello we'll be back in a minute but some of the responses we got. Were so doable. To stop watching so much television and get active to say goodbye to those people in my life. Who are not good for me. That was a lotta people. A lot of people have just say goodbye. We're going to talk about. How do identify the things that you do. Have the power to change and how doing just one thing differently can move you in the right direction. But i i wanna talk to lisa. Snugs lisa's answer to the question. What one thing would make your life better was similar to a lot of the messages we receive from wives around the country. And you wrote lisa speaking up for the wives around the country the one thing that would make my life better is if my husband would come home each day and give me a hug and kiss and say i thought of you today. Oh you're not alone. That is not happening and a lot of homes across america. I thought it was. I thought it's like ward cleaver comes home dear. That's not too busy. I think too busy busy well. This lisa's husband andrew were you. Were you surprised to hear that. That's the one thing not a chauffeur. I was a little surprised but you know we have very busy. Lives and take for granted. Sometimes the little things like that and we come. I come home and we both start doing our own thing and you come home and not even like smack sometimes seventy. Give me a mike. Go come on. Give me the real deal. I usually give the hug and the kiss in the morning before leaving and that ought to last for goodness sakes. What more do you wanna hug you this morning. And so you just come in and there's not even a howdy doody usually all there. Is you know just saying alone. We start you know doing things with the children and so

There are if we have too many more celebrity cardi right now through zeta-jones with her mar inducing video. Yes with her eyeliner. Like i just. I was doing some more research on this and basically what the mass does. It just creates an inclusive environment the same way like your pimple patch does when you're healing pit bull that's good in some cases but not when you're using active ingredients so hey guys out there if you don't have mask knee. Heavy notions really read or the sides. Of your mouth cracking. Maybe he's a retinoid. It's more effective under that hot moist -clusive environment so like you gotta you gotta like pare back on all the active stuff.
How to Stand Out From The Competition
"I can tell you from firsthand. Experience that being a competitive market can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. Bit intimidating and worrisome. My software company. Webinar ninja is in a very competitive space. Since i launched in two thousand and fourteen. There's been a slew of competitors have come out so people lose sleep off the fact that there's so much competition out there but there's a mean your business is going to die doesn't mean that you can't compete it just means you need to have a strategy to compete. And that's what today's lessons all about. How do you stand out. And i wanna make sure that you stand out not because you're just different because you're better one of the easiest ways to stand out in a competitive marketplace is tunisia down to speak directly to a particular niche or corner in the market. A lot of people worry about niching down because they feel like they're going to say no to business just because you speak directly to a particular niche doesn't mean other niches are not going to buy your product. It just means that you're really going to resonate in. Stand half the crowd because you stand for something. for example. our company women are ninja. Our webinar software really is targeted to creators. Two coaches trainers to people that teach and pass on a new skill to other people. If you're that type of person that's your business you're gonna love our software because we built for you. People want to know that you have a solution for them and if you can actually tell them hey. I built the solution exactly for these needs. They're gonna feel your special your better than the competitors competitors might not speak directly to them or speak to a different audience so niching really helps you really differentiate. What else can you do to stand out and be better. You don't really need to do everything different. You actually can just deliver something in a different way. Your product can be uniquely different in one aspect. An all you need to do is highlight that aspects. Let me give you an example kia. The car manufacturer gives an highly competitive space. The economic low cost car for the family. Right one of the things that they really flex the things that they really promote is a differentiator which is their seven year warranty. They have a seven year warranty on all their new cars. They're always talking about the always. Have it on their website. They always have it in their commercials. Why because other car manufacturers don't offer that long of a warranty basically telling customers if you buy this car. You don't have any worries for the nick seven years. You don't worry about anything. We'll fix any of the problems because it'll be under warranty for seven years. All you gotta do is just do regular maintenance and service but everything breaks down will take care of it so people that are looking for peace of mind people that like reliability if people want to not have a money pit you know out of pocket expenses. That's really something attractive to them so they really get front and center and say hey we have this great warranty. That comes with every car. Didn't reinvent the car right. It's four wheels and a steering wheel and gas pedal on a break right. It's very similar to other cars in the marketplace similar price similar sizes similar features similar horsepower. All that kind of stuff. But the warranty is something that they can flex promo- and differentiate. What can you do with your business. Well we've done this webinar ninja and what we've done is twenty. Four seven live chat support. We noticed that our competitors do not do this. They don't have around the clock support. They don't have their back and we constantly pushed as we say. Hey when you buy our software we always have your back. You can chat with us right inside of the software. Any time can answer your questions. We can make sure that you have a successful webinar. The other guys don't do this again. It's a very small thing but it makes a big difference and it could be just the difference. Your customer needs to choose you remember when people are buying your product or service or looking to buy your body service. They're going to be shopping around. They're going to be comparison shopping. They're going to be looking at your competitors and if there's something that really stands out that you promote that has value it's gonna make your product look superior. Here's a little secret. A lot of companies do not promote their unique features. In fact some companies might have the same features as you or my have something that's similar to yours but people don't know about it but because you promote it because you put her front and center people know out and they say hey. This company has this. I like that so just getting in front of it and making sure people know about it can make a huge difference another way you can stand with your marketing take a look at how your competitors market often all your competitors will mark the same way it could be either over sales or to corporate what have you marketed in a completely different way in a refreshing way in a funny way in a personal way in a educational way. You're just stand up by the way you mark bilby like. Wow this is different. I like this commercial. I like this video. I like the way they Put this post together on facebook. Let me check them out. Don't underestimate the power of cool. Something being cool is a differentiator and your marketing can be cool. Another way you can stand out is with your pricing. A lot of people they try to compete with their competitors with price to try to stay in the same price bracket they try to stay in the same price range. One way you can do is to go either extreme. You can lower your prices where it's like you knock him out of the park. Which is very dangerous. because you know Your profit margins will very be very thin if any or you can go. The other way and be a premium product and be a little bit more expensive or even a lot more expensive than the competitors. Some people like the expensive choice. They want to go premium. They want to spend money on a product. Humane believe this but it's true. This is why luxury brands like louis vuitton and fendi and tom ford end mercedes. They don't go out of business because they have a good audience that love to spend a bit of money on something and feel like they actually bought something of value because it costs money. I know this may seem strange. But this could be just a differentiator. You need where you just price your products higher than your competition.
The beauty hall for 2020 is here
"All right. So normally, we always start out with skincare. We know that you guys are huge skin care junkies, but there's so much news make up that. Honestly we have to give it some love straight off the top, and we're going to start with none other than rare beauty, the new line by Selena. Gomez. Okay. So I did not get my package a curly, and so I'm very excited to hear what you thought of the line and what you think the winners are and just definitely part of this bigger trend we're seeing right of so many celebrities launching makeup lines right now. Yeah it's. True I feel like they used to be kind of like on the poster to represent like a new lipstick or something in these big campaigns, and now it's as though they've stepped out of the frame and they're really owning their own lines it really you know with Selena Gomez I know that health is a topic that's really close to her heart. So we know that one percent of the proceeds from this whole line is going toward increasing access to mental health services. So I, think just having like so much more integrity behind his lines as what makes them not just a flash in the pan. Committed to one hundred, million dollars over the next ten years. So that's a pretty big deal that's super exciting, and of course, we know that Sephora, is behind this line as well. It's exclusive to Sephora so although it's not one of the Kendo brands. So to speak I, feel like you know Sephora they get all that Intel from their customers they know what they want and they really brought a lot of I would say like. Thoughtfulness, to these formulations, I think that's where a rare beauty really wins. Okay. So let's hear about it because I know a lot of people were kind of comparing it to fantasy like one what's been your experience so far? What's what have you been? Loving. So my favorite product from the lot is the rare beauty liquid touch weightless foundation, and so that's the one everyone's going to compare it Fendi. It has forty eight shades except this one is only twenty nine dollars, which is cheaper than the fence is thirty eight dollars Canadian, and of course, it launched just at the beginning of September I really love it. So first of. All just tell you like what it is. It's meant to be a lightweight valuation that goes on Super. Naturally but it has quite a bit of pigment to it. So it will give you a medium to full coverage finish and I think we're all familiar with the bottle. We've probably seen it on instagram. It's as beautiful like it's got the sculptural shape to it. So it then bottle and then it has like this white ball on the top definitely GonNa look good on your shelf e and when you open it, what's really unique is its got this gigantic doe foot applicator like it almost reminds me of the applicators of those. Big Conceal that were coming ask chair. Yeah. Yeah and it's meant to be like a Serum Foundation. So you actually shake it and you can hear that click, click click inside and I'll be honest I've tried serum foundations in the past and I don't typically like them usually they come with a dropper and although there really lightweight there's like a slickness and an oiliness to it that I just do not like I I feel like that was like a a flash in the pan kind of a gimmick that I don't think those are going to last but this one goes on and it feels more just like a very lightweight almost. Watery Foundation without having any oiliness to it, but it is quite pigmented. So what you're going to do is you're gonNA put dots on your face like in the main areas where you won't coverage for me that would all over my tease own and then I, just used my beauty blender and blended in as usual and I really found it had a very natural second skin effect. So it's not particularly Matt it's not particularly Dewey it just looks Berry Notch, draw it kind of reminded me of the Bite Beauty Foundation that I really fell in love with lots year that all clocks right because it likes under Sephora I'm sure they definitely Yeah, armed each other. Well, I mean Sephora. So as an example, Nour's launched a soft Matte Foundation this fall as well, and the publicis actually told me that that was in collaboration with Sephora and that they were using all of the feedback from their customers to tell them what they wanted So that was a very different foundation. It's quite matt more like the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush break by yes. A We know that they're kind of feeding into that and that just makes sense I mean Celinas. Not a makeup artist. Maybe, she has van Gogh helping our, but obviously, they're going to be using the power of their knowledge to create these formulas. So I love this foundation I think it's so natural. This is like a new favorite for me but I think it's really representative of the line like what I noticed just having tried quite a few products is that it's like taking existing ideas like for example, the lip souffle Matt lip cream we all know a liquid matlab color, but this one just went on, it gives you a soft finish. And it's so comfortable. But what I liked is it wasn't thick. So they managed to get that pigment without having that thickness like I can never get a clean line with a Matt liquid color. I always have to use my finger to blended then and then you don't get that that nice shape to it. So this when you do so everything was like, yes already out there but this is so thoughtful and it's just slightly better
LVMH Scraps $16 Billion Deal, Leaving Tiffany at the Altar
"From wondering I'm David Brown of this business wars daily on this Wednesday September sixteenth. Well folks today we have another sad story of love gone bad after months of planning the marriage between venerable jeweler, tiffany and company and the world's largest luxury conglomerate. lvmh has been called off. That's right. Tiffany has been left at the altar and that leaves big questions about its future. Well, as we told you in December, it seemed like a match made in Heaven after years of. Struggle tiffany would be part of an organization that included brands like Louis Vuitton Fendi Christian Dior to name just a few for tiffany. That Union represented more financial stability for the Paris based Lvmh the move would bolster their fine jewelry sales in the US according to a report in business insider. Then last Wednesday lvmh issued a statement saying it was calling off the sixteen billion dollar deal. So when we're wrong apparently, the governments of each company's home country were to

Her collection was better Fendi because they do colors. Fs Look Great on fucking jacket, but but that's, but that's the thing she see people who are not. I guess not who are not learned. In certain things It's better to go to a big fashion because they got didn't exist already Put Your. She took the typical rapper deal. The whole I'm just GonNa. Put My name in my color on this. That's that exist already. We don't make the bigger. Like that that worked for her. That was a better deal for her than Adidas. Adidas didn't do too well. She she she she fuck the machine well and seen in Newark, but then Kinda going to making him a big ass. Powerhouse veggies goes to show you. How much is the interesting thing about that? Is in the midst of his do? Those another do overshadowed There's a a brag a bag company. tell far global and. Originally he will. I can remember I. It was lessons. Tell far he was. He announced at Paris fashion week that he had to deal again. Like what are they going to do with him? They not about the. Would, you? I mean it's sad. Say's fucked up, but would you just not drop everything that you're doing to work with the biggest anything right now like if you know, bring you billions of dollars. We have to put his hold. Just to work with Connie. Yeah, I mean that's that's opportunity. You don't everybody, don't get. Even only that what you mean he was working with. You're going to be on the creative Stanford. He added Telltale Fargo will have to deal with with The gap to put out clothing in conjunction with them so exactly about to do There was supposed to do I. I don't know how it's GonNa work on court I don't know if they're gonNA like dead the deal and pay him, but they're not going to do them to collaborate same now because it's not what happened, that's not. He was smart those two. Well I mean. Target does it all the time they do feature lines and their in their stores all the time, and is several different artists they do. They do as possible, but I mean nobody was. I mean let's bliss we RU. Let's be real like I mean can you got to be willing to share? Fashion is all about it's no. I agree it is true. It is about sharing, but that's like you take this opportunity. Okay? We Got Martha Stewart in one section We got Did he doing? Section this macy's but right makes guys. Tommy Hilfiger and another. You know you got all these people, but then you got one brand like Connie's taken over this entire thing. Where do we put anything else? Designing for the whole the company itself, so he's the creative director for the whole company for Tangiers Nano Hit, so he's he's GonNa have line features. Line so he's GonNa. Take like he's going to do capsules. Time so like if there's ten. Five pair of pain marshalls is just like mushrooms marshals does that all the time they get people capsules right, but it's different from somebody who's already regarded high fashion. Yeah, I mean, but I think it's possible. We've got our if we all creative. That's like everybody's artwork. Manning a gallery like this is true, but you have your own section. This is true. We say there, but then they're like. Let's all right, so let let's look at it like this. If I'm if they have Picasso Exhibit Exhibition Right Because Exhibit. My pieces in show with him. He has ten pieces of ten pieces up. Who they come into see. They're going to see Picasso. Didn't eventually? They're gonNA come to you. Don't take exactly, but the fact that you're in the room is still matters morally for me. Yes, yes, for me, but business wise. We know where the money I. Mean you just you just never know 'cause everybody is only one of those ten items that people can get so if ten people buy those items and they not there no more items there. We're, but we're talking about somebody who people already lined up four. I'm like I'm not negating saints not. I'm not saying as possible like for them to like for them. So in my opinion for them to move over to tell deal and work with high at the same time. That's a crazy conflict of interest in my opinion, I don't think it is because their styles are different. They write in. You want something like all right, so you want something that's GonNa make money. The same thing happened with like big John and to chain sneaker was at the same time needed. To change so more than big John's, but at the same time one mad more than others, one look better than others so it's like the big one. Very few people collect them. The people who are like hardcore collectors collected them shoes. personally if I'm a I don't know how long how far have been doing whatever he's been doing but I'm going to go up against you was. That's just crazy like my. You think logically it just doesn't make. It doesn't make sense like I don't know I. Just don't feel like. I mean then we can say that in comparison to. Yeah. We're not on their level, but putting out. People put our content every day through. You produce bags. Fendi, Gucci Chanel all of these major big houses and produce content every day. So does that mean that you shouldn't put our shores know what that does mean. Is that some I may sell? But they're GONNA so way more than me. So, where's the interest? Interest Gonna go. That's the core that that is the deciding factor where the I goes out of ten people. If if I'm putting them a bad going up against Louis Vuitton launch right They have way more than I do. Well I sell something. How will they more yes low now? Who the outside GonNa pay attention to the people with the big voice. Or the underdog donald eventually becomes the bigger voice selling all about so you're speaking all about timing. Yes, and I in my opinion is bad timing. Rectify whatever they're going to do with that deal, 'cause they'll put something to put like. H and when he did the Visayan thing, they didn't launch. Anything is at the same time. Yeah, why would you? It's not gonNA so like the people coming for that one thing I mean as I. See your perspective on not possible. No, no I'm not I. See a perspective. The timing is right. You WanNa give the person that you get the deal to both of the people that you gave the bill to the opportunity to. In their own right doing two campaigns at the same time. Yeah, but I also feel like. Sometimes. When is your retirement? Your time I agree with? US, so I mean just because Yeah Kanye has this big platform, but that doesn't mean because if I'm in the room with him and so happen to be on the same floor I might be able to get the benefit from that. Be That big plus I'm I. Agree with you. There is a possibility Um will business wise I'm speaking of probability yeah. Yeah probably will happen like it's possible that somebody's to say this about like this better in the easy stuff..

Camila Cabello apologizes for racist Tumblr posts from 2012
"Two days ago a twitter user at motivate fendi posted a string of tweets calling Camila Cabello out for allegedly posting racist content on a tumbler. Ambler Account Oh no. They didn't summed up the tweet. Thread saying quote motivate fantasy. Found Camilo. Cabezas tumbler page one. Camilla confirmed was hers receipts in the thread and started a thread last night. That includes a million anti-black re blogs xenophobic re blogs referring to the Asian language as Ching Tong Language and going for the hat trick a re blog. Making light of Rana's assault at the hands of Chris Brown and quote. I personally looked through the entire thread and let me just say. I don't know if I've ever seen so many racist memes in one place. It was like reading a toxic four Chan threat or something. The meme that Camille allegedly reposted making fun of Chris. Brown beating Riana is especially vile at motivate. fendi updated the tweet thread adding at the end quote up date. It appears that community deleted Vu attests bell. Luckily I archive all the links in this thread on the way back machine last night. Eight and quote wvu attests bell. I don't know if I'm saying that right. But I guess that was the name of cumulous Account Camilla logged onto twitter last night and while she didn't confirmed the tumbler posts were hers. She did apologize for her past comments in a lengthy apology in the form of a screen shotted image of text now. Technically CABELA's apology wasn't on the IPHONE. Notes APP she clearly road it in like an instagram story but the spirit of the notes up is alive. Live in this apology. So I'm still going to award it with the coveted notes APP apology of the week. Notes APP apology of what we how in a screen shotted image that included a black background with white currier text Camilla road quote when I was younger I used language that I'm deeply ashamed of of and will regret forever. I was uneducated and ignorant and once I became aware of the history and the weight and the true meaning behind this horrible and hurtful language I was deeply the embarrassed I ever used it. I apologize then and I apologize now I would never intentionally hurt anyone and I regret it from the bottom of my heart as much as I wish I could. I can't can't go back in time and change things I said in the past but once you know better you do better and that's all I can do. I'm twenty two now. I'm an adult and I've grown and learned I am conscious and aware of the history and the paint. It carries in a way that I wasn't before those mistakes don't represent the person I am or a prison I've ever been. I only stand Dan and have ever stood for love and inclusivity and my heart has never even then had any chance of hate divisiveness. The truth is I was embarrassingly. Ignorant Unaware I use my platform to speak out about injustice and inequality. And I'll continue doing that. I can't say enough how deeply sorry and ashamed. I feel and I apologize. Today's again from the bottom of my heart and quote even after posting this apology. It still seems like people are pretty upset by Camilla's former posts. A lot of people are saying that regardless of how much she regrets it by age sixteen. You should know that riposting racist content and using the N.. Word Ad Nauseam is unacceptable acceptable. Hong Kong protesters fight off police with fire and arrows
"We got in the mail this week for our chief foreign correspondent Iain panel who has been covering the protests in Hong Kong reporting from Hong Kong polytechnic university he describes streets lined with bricks and spikes students armed with bows and arrows and look out positions or some kept watch with binoculars and others bottled up Molotov cocktails yes are now in their six month and Ian is on the ground with the protesters semi just festival describe the scene around may I know whether you can pick up the sound sounds like a building site but I see what's going on it's good dozens of dozens of students hunkered down on the side will jamming up some of the bricks that make up the side to open a smashing them into small of bricks I'm standing in the middle of the highway and it is surrounded by thousands of bricks they're being built into the stone henge like structures there is plastic wrap like food wrap around the polls ago across the road they're a Molotov cocktails these homemade gasoline bombs lined up in front of the make shift Walder umbrellas that raw blues and arrows that are all baseball bat so I'm seeing people with sledge hammers there are rumors swirling around of other even more combustible elements the ground that I'm walking on a moment's is listed with these plastic to which you got these really long so the two inch long nails thrust through them that now point straight up into the sky this now looks almost like a medieval siege and this is all designed in this locality around the polytechnic university to try and fend off what they see as an inevitable police assault it looks like they're ready for battle usually on a on the weekends we saw families out there we saw even young children who were marching with parents yet you know younger people older people as well are we seeing that so much anymore or is it mostly the students it's mostly led by the students won the interesting things is that they still enjoy a high degree supports amongst the why the population here I mean people have been put off a little bit by the violence is being used by the protests in protest as I don't want to them once here I mean they are guilty of carrying out xenophobic attacks in one incident a man at a gun into an argument with was doused in inflammable liquid and with satellites he's in a critical condition a hospital the people of Hong Kong Louis felt when they were in some way kind of slightly superior economically culturally to the mainland Chinese have now see the mainland Chinese move over an ever growing numbers and they feel is how to really impacts on their lifestyle and they no longer see themselves as Chinese and that's why there's a large sector population who don't want violence they went take continent but nor will they come damaged what about the rest of Hong Kong what about you know the the Stanley market what about you know it the the the the business district the shopping district in Kowloon across across the the because with the water there what what what's the rest of Hong Kong doing while all this is going on good question this is changed dramatically over the pair that I've been coming here over the last few months initially this was very very localized you could turn a corner run into a protest run the risk of being kind of hit by tear gas but turn the other direction and people around shopping give GM Fendi analyst finds the store people dining a great restaurants looking right earning lots of money and that's why a lot of expense come here but gradually over time there's a a sort of darkness is crap to across Hong Kong and the miles a much MTS shops are closing down hotel occupancy because tourism is huge it is down to so the ten or twenty percent in some areas I I Hong Kong is now technically in recession and this was the economic jul all of Asia it's starting to wane and so the this is the accounts of the objective of course of the protest movement is not just to have isolated protest but to have an impact and moving around town has become much harder for the regular Hong Kong as I think the days of being able to turn the corner and seeing normal Hong Kong a starting to third

Victoria, Twenty Two Years And One Sec discussed on Drew Garabo Live
"Victoria's secret the home of the master toy catalog is going to feature trans gender models in their catalog for the first time the first openly transgender woman Valentina some bio twenty two years old and the selection was seen by some as long overdue never stop dreaming she wrote on Instagram set doesn't think anybody would have a problem with this I think that people will have a problem with this well I mean people would have a prominent after the fact if maybe they right rub one out right and then you know afterwards they read little captains like K. our first trans gendered model used to be Carl I think that might be a whole like oh boy oh oh I feel dirty calls rough name yeah I mean I don't know maybe this opens a lot of ice right this shows a lot of men that you know I can't climax to a woman the used to be a man interesting choice of verbs I look if you're using the Victoria's secret catalog for that thank you flip through and you didn't know is that a trans gender was the inspiration for your climax as my friend John so gently put it sorry was that too harsh for that all okay perfect at climaxes kick **** dude yeah man I love the climax so if you take yourself to that point and then you find out afterwards that you were inspired by Valentina some bio a trans gender I would take that as a sign that you don't need to be as close minded as you once were I mean I don't think any of us in a position to kick day trans gendered angel out of our bed you know correct label it by the way had their first transgender playmate in twenty seventeen Gina wrist Cerro a transgender woman was featured in the magazine this summer Victoria's secret is still leading lingerie brand in the US but its share of the market has fallen as it tries to keep up with the times I mean they're all kinds a newish lingerie companies out there I suppose try to get a piece of the pie are there I guess we're the upstarts the upstarts are I just saw this hold on one sec Fredericks back no there are brands that you've never heard of third love savage X. Fendi what about slots only has anybody launch that one no they have not we would be in the mall but we you know we'd be just outside of it does anybody I I mean anybody have an issue with this at all seven two seven five seven I want to two five last year by the way ed Razek the chief marketing officer of the parent organization L. brands expressed a lack of interest in casting transgender models he's retiring so this this is wrong I'm pretty sure but it would be wrong to to just have to be a whole separate catalog that kind of goes against the idea of inclusion yeah I I I I would I would say separate but equal doesn't quite work here I issues you have one transgender model so you put her in with the rest of them and you just go people are people but now like you know imagine how great if you have ten transgender model yeah all in their own no no not separate but equal my friend you cannot segregation you got integrated but what if it's you know what if it's a woman's preference or I don't like because women are really who who are you looking at these catalogs are part of the shopping process sure ultimately I don't have a lot of men probably look to see what they want to buy their lady right so either way if you decide Hey I'm I'm gonna prefer to to to stick to the more traditional yeah woman right like that you know you should have the right to choose well I mean you have the right to choose not to look at the catalog yeah I know that if you know there will be a trans gender and there are any of the mannequins in the stores gonna come with

It was just a disaster and so then we couldn't get a cab because there were a lot of people in Monte Carlo for the car show and so it was really hard to taxiing were waiting. It was just like one of those things where we couldn't get it going. Yeah Yeah Day started so nice. We were in the lobby of the hotel. Take puree cocktail. We twirled. We did hers another way could take a take by the right right. What was so funny was? I thought that the way we dressed without even discussing it on. The entire. Trip was totally insane insane. It's totally that was that was really cute. I walked out of this white just and she's wearing this beautiful one hundred years look. I'm like Oh my gosh. I love be so French thing. We didn't do the French well. I feel like we smoked because everyone was smoking next your husband smoke so there anyway so that was a fail and then we finally sat down at this Italian place with no atmosphere and had a snack because no one had eaten to cool off though and why magic just had to cool down it was so we sat there for a little while and then we took a stroll kind of in the shade eight but they've just built this. I'm going to say it's an outdoor mall but it's not it's really actually residential buildings really modern stunning residential towers right next to hotel debris and on the bottom of them are like flagship stories going around Dior Fendi posted a Fendi Sparkley shoe yet I get him. Should I not that's where you guys went and walked around the stores were Gorgeous Dior and just like just to even walk in and look at how they designed the stores and everything it was the most beautiful Bill John Anger machine then we went over and we looked at Lermontov because we wanted to see because that when you look at the hotels in Monte Carlo it's Larry Montage Metropole and hotel daybreak so those are the three it was okay right. Let me check that out that was on our list of ballroom was really beautiful. Yeah the ballroom. The ballroom at Hotel de pre that they just redid is own. It's like gold leaf everywhere and not like an over the top op tacking it like in a stunning. You feel like you're in verse I kind of I mean really really amazing. So we went shopping. I bought a hat dior that I'd seen on the runway and it looks like a little caveat with a black net net that hangs over it and across the front so cute is the filter that's on snapchat kind of yet not the beret but it's a hat with that yes exactly and so terri was dying. He's like you're not really buying that are you. That is hideous and like really at Mike and he said she looks like she's a bus driver. He looked like a bus driver later. When we were in Paris the the door people had hats without the veil exactly like taking pictures of going? I think your shift is coming up or we needed extra money for the trip. So sending heather was so fun so but we went into Fendi and I did get those sparkly shoes. They didn't have my size so we had to get him in Paris. Bill called like a guy comparison like hooked me up. There was off the hook over side yeah of course Mike is like I love those. You should get all that so funny like shut shut.

And now it's had to get legal because allegedly the dad was sent several season desist notices from Rana and heat Nord them, that's unfortunate because you know, according to riana her dad was abusive towards her mom, but ran it was able to still have a relationship with him and was good to her dad. Hey, he's not affiliated with may. That's what this lawsuit is for to say, hey, warning to anybody out there. Sure, he can have his own business. But I have nothing to do with it. I think that's the reason that she did this. But it is unfortunate especially because it sounds like he was out of her life and she brought him back in. And this is how he repays her. It's just sad.

Microsoft adding support for Movies Anywhere, giving away free X-Men movie
"Yeah, I don't have any specific comments on his other than I would say like this. It's gonna be a slippery slope, you know, regardless of where he's staying on on whether a company should judge, you know how much they should judge something is, you know, not not. Okay. Based on public pressure, you know, the public doesn't like something. And so I think we're all going through a big learning phase here and and I'm interested to see what will come out of, etc. I don't know where this going. I Don. I don't know if people could just scream loud enough to get anything taken out. Someone doesn't like your podcasts anymore because there's another cooler, one ten it can scream at at. You have to take an, you know what I'm saying? Like we're what is the line contam- here. There's a highly painting. There's a whole other discussion to be had about the similarity between this and what happened to James Gunn getting fired at Disney. It would both were in response to public pressure. Yeah, absolutely. So Microsoft briefly hosted a page announcing it had joined movies, anywhere. This would mean movies from participating studios could be bought on the Microsoft store and viewed. Another platforms and vice versa. I tunes Amazon prime video. Google play Lou and Fendi go. Now are the car partners and Louis from Disney Sony Twentieth Century Fox, universal and wanna brothers are included no word on why Marcus off pulled down the announcement and yet it maybe they just weren't ready to me a phone that maybe they weren't ready to know, say diverge and threat dot com. Both reported this this morning with links and screen shots. I mean throats still has a screen shot of the Microsoft page saying, you're movies together. Last fell that watch more with Microsoft movies and TV. But when you click through to the Microsoft page that's supposed to tell you about this new deal. It says, we're sorry. The patriot you requested cannot be found. I mean, we should be sitting here talking about like, oh, movies, anywhere starting expansively, great. When some more studios come into, if I've got an XBox now I can watch all my movies, anywhere stuff. If I want to buy something on my XBox or through the window store, I can still watch it in I tunes, I can still watch it in the Google play store, and that hopefully is what's going to happen because they have prepared, but I don't want to all of it. I mean. 'cause 'cause you do you use your XBox to watch movies? Well, yeah. And I stopped because they pulled out of the when it was called Disney and I know was more limited than, but the Microsoft pulled out of it. Yeah. And so I don't use it anymore, but I use my XBox to watch almost everything YouTube twitch. And so it's kind of like my media hope is apple TV. So I'm definitely looking forward to this disappointment only in that lions gate and paramount, which I get movies from just impressive press things. They aren't included in this, but hopefully with more people being added more stills with the offense as Bill. I mean us funding private disclosure, you're. Hey, what's my disclosure? Lamar. Let me. Yes. My wife works for rotten tomatoes and fandango. So we use fandango now. Yeah. A love for service a page being taken down. One would think that if something drastic had changed with us announcement, the rots, certainly the virgin. Anybody else you know who who has good connections that Microsoft would would? No. I also wonder just assuming maybe something was posted prematurely. Sure. Happens a lot in corporate websites. Doesn't it? Yeah. Yeah, so many of us to work on their CMS a little bit. Yeah, I know. I know the New York Times writes, it's a bit Yaris years in advance for for big name folks that it's like, can't we have some sort of a staging server?
