"So he deserves some, it's not only what Tia fema Lopez did not do at some of what sandor Martin did and deserves credit for that. It was a difficult fight. It's not a fight any of us are going to want to see again, so please, I hope no one thinks there should be a rematch in any way, but but you know, maybe it gets people to fight to your female Lopez. I think personally, I think he's going to wind up fighting Josh Taylor. I think they're going to keep him away from Regis progra. His program is a big puncher. He's an unorthodox southpaw. He doesn't fight conventionally. He doesn't fight anything like sandor Martin. And he's still in the prime of his career and he beat down Jose's, I wouldn't pursue that fight if I were them. And obviously makes more sense for him to fight Taylor if Taylor beats cattle, which is no foregone conclusion. And if he stays at a 140 pounds, again, no foregone conclusion. But that's the fight to make. That's easier to make because they're both with top rank and I'm sure Taylor will look at the fight against sandor Martin. So yeah, bring to your female Lopez across the pond here and I'll beat him up. Yeah, I think that is the way that they're going to go. It sounds like Regis pro gray and José Ramírez are going to get a deal done some way or the other. I might have to go to Perth bid for that to happen. And I don't know what the perseid split is going to be. I don't think anyone knows at this point what the purse played split is going to be. But that sounds like, it sounds at least possible. I've talked to people in Ramirez's camp and they say they want that fight. Yeah, I mean, it's a sink or swim fight against Taylor, for sure. What worries me a little bit about TFE more two things. So I start to wonder about his chin as we go into bigger fights with bigger punchers. The other thing is kind of his mental space, right? Like, you go back a year ago, and I was in those fighter meetings, you were around TEFF emo. He was not in a good place. Like a lot of had to do with what was going on in his personal life. He was dealing with family issues. He had just had a baby. Weight issues, professionally speaking, were problematic for him. So, you know, that was that. But then this fight comes around. And taya female seemed like he was in a better place, but I'm listening to Tim Bradley do an interview after the fight. And Bradley said something like, the TF fema we saw in our fighter meeting was not the same guy we're used to seeing.

Well, I think we covered Benavidez as thoroughly as Kim possibly be done. Let's talk about the upcoming fight this weekend with Cambodia's and Devin Haney. This is an awesome fight on paper. I mean, all the belts on the line credit to Devin Haney for going down to Australia fighting in Cambodia's hometown basically. And you know, Kim also earned the right to host that fight in Australia by beating the great Tia fema Lopez and taking all the belts, dying for this fight. What do you look for? What do you like? Sorry, it's June 5th. If I said next week, I'm in June 5th, that's like two weeks. It's an intriguing fight for many reasons. You're going to have something that you don't get too often in boxing. You're going to have an outdoor arena. I think it's a rugby arena. They play a lot of rugby over there in down under. But it's going to be, it's going to be a tremendous crowd, a tremendous atmosphere outdoors, as I said. You get to see it on ESPN. So it's not pay per view. So it's going to draw a lot of fans. And it's for four belts. Who knows they're probably creating a belt as we speak, right? Because they do. They do. I mean, just like if you go down to canal street, you know, down in Chinatown in Manhattan, not far from where I live. You go across the boat, the ferry, or you drive over the bridge, you go do a little shop, down there, great place, great place to do some shopping. But you could get a lot of knockoffs. You know, you can get those bags that cost $10,000, those designer beds, you could get them for $10. You go to the just don't bring them out in The Rain. Don't bring them out in The Rain or the wind, or the wind. Wind and rain bed, bad. And so you could go over there, you could get plenty of belts, WBC, IPF. Wbo, OW Bo. I'd be felonious. "His superior physical strength would superior physical strength. Broke down piece by piece, what down conlin. Until you finally saw the end result of it in the 12th round. You finally saw it, but it was happening. It was, but the other guy was so gallant. Conlin that you might not have realized it was happening. You might not have realized it was because he was fighting him tooth and now. But it was happening. The guy that was stronger for me was going to, he was going to get there. And he was getting there. Just the old fashioned way of being relentless and of course using his physicality to do what he was doing. And that body attack. I know they were both going to the body. They were both gone to the body great. Conlin was too. But those harder body shots and clean ones by wood was also just, it was taken away. From conlin, and the right hands that you like to use against the South Pole when I was calling a fighter, I called them southpaw killers. Those right hands in the head were landing periodically. And then of course it landed at the very end. Where it finished the job, but I think the job was really done all night long. Just, you know, he just, it's like keeping you oven on and cooking something. I mean, the oven just kept cooking and cooking and cooking. And to finally conlon was, if you will, baked, and that final right hand finished it. Tremendous fight. Again, one of the epic comebacks, you know, I had it, I didn't score it, but I had it in my mind. You know, there was always so far ahead by the way he was coming on down the stretch. And then, of course, the ten 8 round in the 11th Ken, I had quite frankly everyone said if he did not come out, he wouldn't win. And I know the scorecards were, I think, two of them were 1.1 of them was two or three points. You can confirm that for me. But two judges, two judges had McConnell up by one point going into the last round and one judge had him up by three, I believe. So all even if conlin stayed on his feet and lost ten 9, he still would have got a majority draw. Yeah, but he wasn't going to get that because he got, you know, well, no, no, you're right. But the point I was saying was without being privy to those scores. I felt going in that he didn't have to have a knockout to win. I mean, obviously it helps if you get an odd cut then there's you don't have to worry about it. But I felt because of the way he had been coming on because the ten 8 11th round because of the way that this round it was a competitive round, but you can see he had the edge. The way that this round was going, I felt that and it turned out that way. But I felt that even without the knock, the knockout, he could win a fight, and as it turned out, obviously he could because if he wasn't surrounded as you started to say, without a knockdown, if he witnessed around, then it's a draw. But the way the fight had gone already, we got past that point. He had already dropped them. If he survived, if he had survived that conlin, and he got back in the ring and he finished the fight, wood would have won the world title. I felt, again, without knowing the scar would have scores would have won the world title without having to have the knockout. And anyway, he got it the old fashioned way. He let his hands get it for me. He didn't worry about the judges. Although I think the judges, except for the three point I would argue with, I think the judges were pretty much right on for the job. I have a feeling those judges were on their appeasing cues after the cataract fight in the UK the week before or two weeks before whenever it was. I feel like that was scored the judges scored this one pretty accurately and pretty fairly. Yeah, it's good to have incentive, you know, to be honest. You shouldn't have to. It should be party in nature, especially when that's your job. Your job is to be honest, but it's good to give them a little extra and sense of like we're watching you. And we're going to send you to jail if you don't do it. Well, you know, something like that. But unfortunately, we can't send them to jail because we don't have a strong enough police in boxing. Yeah, you know who took the biggest L on the night. I think is top rank having lost the first bid to the zone and seeing this incredible fight. Shown on his own instead of ESPN, I think they bid 1.2 and his own bid 1.5, but man, they got their money's worth out of this one. That was one for the ages. I mean, everyone was talking about this fight. I feel like I feel like top rank, oh yeah, top rate. And they're not doing really well with the first bids because they lost the cambos cam Bosa versus Tia fema Lopez via purse bit as well, which turned out to be one of the biggest upsets in a long time. They don't want to get they don't want to be aggressive on those pers bids in the zone keeps outbidding them and getting these great fights. That is factual. They got the money. I know they get I know they're not going to there's not going to be a food line for them. I mean, I know no one's going to have to do a benefit. For them, you know, I don't know what they're doing with their money if they're not trying to win perspex with all that. Cash study has been given them. I think somebody said he reminded them of a poor man Sean Porter, just not as technically sound, like he was just plumb rushing him. But the stoppage was terrible. "Reason, if you're a rational intelligent person, the real reason that you're wanting Davis had not gotten the pound for pound credit that Floyd thinks that he deserves. And I understand him thinking he deserves it. He's a promoter. He should. Even if he doesn't believe it, he should say it because he's a promoter. So instead of spending time with these wacky conspiracy theories about people hating him, you know, he should realize that if you put the guy in the ring with the people, people want to see him fight. He'll get more credit for what he's doing. He would, but, you know, one thing I've said and you may disagree, but I still believe it is that I don't deep down, I don't think they believe that it can beat a Devin Haney or beat a tail fema Lopez. My frustration Keith was that like flashback to January of this year. All the lightweights at that point were available, right? You know, you hadn't had the purse bid yet for a fema versus cambos. Ryan García was coming off that win over Luke Campbell which was the biggest win of his career. Devin hating was out there, putting his hand up. I mean, money is an issue when you're negotiating. But they did try to make the Ryan García fight. And Ryan García walked away from it. So that's not their fault, right? Okay. Putting Ryan García, all right, that is they did do that. And then when he falls out, they go, he's not crews. Like I just, I don't feel like there's been any kind of effort to be made to consistently try to make big fights. Like they're not calling top rank to try to make a fight with the facility Loma janko. They're not calling certainly not pushing to do a Devin Haney fight right now. I mean, this guy's 27 years old. It's time to see what he's got. And until we see him in against these top guys, he'll get paid. And look, if you're a boxer, and you're getting paid for, you're getting higher reward for lower risk. Let's see ryan garcia when you know when he's healthy enough from physical and mental standpoint fight all of these guys we've been talking about these fights for you know i was in my mid forties when we started talking about this these fights and none of them have happened. You know they would just keep. We keep going forward in this vicious cycle on social media. I'm gonna. I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna do that. I'm going to do that. And while what happened last week at ringside Drew a lot of attention. I don't think it got us any closer to the fight. Being made as as i'd like to be more optimistic than that but i just don't see how from a financial standpoint it's standpoint. It's doable right now. No i don't think this by can be negotiated. Between eddie hearn and top rank haney and lopez where i find. Optimism is if the wbz gets involved. The wbz can order this as a mandatory fight. Lopez is the franchise champion. They didn't want lopez to be the franchise champion but they allowed the title. Be transferred when lopez beat loma. Chanko haney is the regular champion. Or whatever you wanna call it the full champion but mauricio sue. Amman has said haney. Lopez is at the top of the wbz's lightweight food chain. The simple solution is once lopez gets through campos's if he gets through campos's to order lopez to make a mandatory defense against devon against evan haney or the winner of devin haney versus spider. If it's jodi as if it's somebody else in early december is pretty simple. You want to clean up the multiple belts you have at one. Thirty five to eliminate a franchise championship that you never intended for fema lopez to have just order the fight because keith if they do that the only way for one of the only way that fight not to happen then is for one of the fighters. Say all right. I'll give my belt here. Or and i just don't see lopez or haney taking that route. I'd love to see that fight. Go to purse bid. I'd love to see everybody get in and bid on.
