"Jersey and assign Dini, green jersey. And, and the raffle alone raised three thousand dollars Canadian dollars for those jerseys as well as a we hit the starters there. And they brought a j e skeets all-star jersey, vintage, and. Yeah. It was just really really fun night with a bunch of basketball, people all come together for a good cause it was beyond anything that I could have imagined when the idea first came to mind. That's for damn. Sure. So who put that altogether? Did you do that by yourself? I worked with Kevin Kennedy who runs hoop talks hoop. Talks is based on Toronto and they they do a. Handful of those type of live events like a watch parties and all that. But ninety and Kevin Kennedy worked together to organize that and I got everybody together. And somehow we all said to many people. But, but I'm it worked out. Great just talking hoops. And talking about why we were there with dunk on cancer at the end with Jeff Zil get an Faysal Kameda who works in Toronto on sports net. Jesse they'll get of course. Some USA today. Yeah. It was just a just a really really, really special memorable night for all the rappers fans and maybe a couple of warriors fans and general NBA fans that cycle through is we had, like two hundred seventy five people or something like that. Chris is awesome crowd. It was really awesome night. Yeah. And a huge shadow to the NBA media brethren that all showed up to help raise money for a good cause that looked great. All right. So you've had some time to process, what you bore witness to engage in five. I, of course, was watching the television broadcast you were in the arena, and then you have to take a flight from Canada all the way over to Oakland. You got a lot of time to think about it. I know you. You wrote the article about game five, but when when you were left thinking about what you had seen, and you had had time to process at what stands out the most about game five. Is it the Katie injury? Is it the splash brothers coming up huge at the end? Is it Toronto gagging, it, you know with the last three minutes only scoring two points? What stands out the most to you? I think it was really just the overall, heart and will from the Golden State Warriors in that entire game when Katie went down. Well, first of all, in the first quarter hour, sitting there, right next to Danny, and Brian scallop Bernie scowl, Bernie, who does radio with Sirius XM with Frank Sola and scale, and I were chatting in the first quarter with Katie just the way he was performing. That's what the warriors, look like with Kevin spacing. The floor has switch ability on defense. Some of the defensive rebounds, he got her deflections that he got on boards, preventing surgery, Baca offensive rebounds. So little things like that, all, adding up. It was like. Finally, finally were seeing the warriors at full strength with Katie who looked awesome out of the jump. And then the injury happened and Scallon. I looked at each other with just a look of disappointment because we're like, okay, it's over, it's over like the series is over and what could have been a magical night is going to be ended up being a really deflating one where Toronto wins the title and it's an all out. Everybody's talking about. It's Kevin and hurt. But that wasn't what happened. What happened was the Golden State Warriors just really really turned it up on the defensive end of the floor. Steph curry had in my opinion, one of the best defensive games maybe of his entire career. But certainly of the postseason with effort, he played in man-to-man situations off ball situations. Dream on green was unbelievable had his best game of the series as well. Egwu dollar looked like vintage Iggy. Every guy on that roster including boogie coming in four Katie elevated their play to a high level in order to keep that lead that Katy helped build early in the game. Game..

"The trauma of leaves have acquired defenseman Jake Muhsin from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for forward, Carl French drum the rights to Sean dursey who is a recent traffic answering us first round pick in the twenty nineteen NHL draft Faysal Kameda taken away six months. I'm sorry. This is really the key is ability to play the pop end of our defense that plane all obviously growing up, you know, everyone is released fan and those included who know kind of funny how life works and here we are coming back home to play for the team going up kind of. Probably that, you know, as well Ricard Grahn bring this week national coach will be aboard here in a couple of moments looking forward to talking to him about a number of things the differences between key players in North America and Sweden and the chances of him showing up behind the bench in the National Hockey League and other issues that revolve around but are not exclusive to Swedish hockey players. So stay tuned for Ricard Grundberg here on the podcast and a couple of moments. Meantime, Jake Muhsin is now ex of the Los Angeles Kings. He's now a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs on that blue line with one more year on his ticket at four million dollars a copy to which Elliott Friedman says blank, I said, I think it's a good trade for them. I mean, they're in it to win it right now. And they didn't take anything off of their roster. You know, I think one of the reasons that they did not go with some other possibilities including the likes of Brett, patchy and Alex. Her Angelo is that it was going to cost them pieces off their current roster. I don't know what the talks with Carolina turned out to be or not be. But it was going to involve a player either, captain or Yonsin or something like that. I have heard and I do believe that the talks was Saint Louis for Pedder. Angelo involve William knee Lander which Toronto did not want to do. So that was something they were not willing to consider as we saw they could do Muhsin without taking off their current roster. And I think Muslim was a guy that they are interested in even though he's a left hand shot. And what I've heard is. They were Muslin's most diligent and aggressive pursuer. I believe Montreal been there. He was in the patch ready deal. The aboard the L, and I think that's Tampa was there. But when it really mattered who was the team that was aggressive. It was Toronto. And he was the guy they targeted. Let's say there must have been other teams. You mentioned Montreal you mentioned Tampa's while you do wonder about a team like the boss. Bruins. How much of this is the maple leaves got Muhsin and someone else that may police may face in the playoffs. Didn't I think there's something to that? But again, the only other teams I really heard were Tampa Montreal. I'm sure there were others. I can't say for sure that they were there may believes done. I think they'll look for a right hand D. But now it's dollar in dollar out. Now, you can look at sites like cap friendlier puck pedia, and you can say, okay, they've still got a boat, you know, some cap room about four million cap room. But what you don't want is Mitch modern Austin Matthews bonuses to go into next year. You know, the fact that monitored and go to the all star game eliminated one of those bonuses. But I think your budgeting I was told for about three point seven five million. So you've got to keep that doesn't happen. So it's dollar in dollar out for the Maple Leafs. Now who does this help the most on that blue line? Some would make the point that this helps Riley Frederik Anderson someone made the point that it helps Travis Thurman. Because it moves Ron Haines you down to a lesser role probably paired with him. Yeah. Probably I think that's all true..
