"The walls and the floor of the apartment were splattered with blood stains and it appeared as though an effort had been made to clean up the apartment but abandoned casazza quickly lead in the other detectives. What they found was a mountain of evidence? Materials that matched those used to wrap the torso up the body found in the river. A portion of the New York morning paper dated August thirty first a few lengths of millionnaires wire and some heavy cord matching those used to tie up the two packages there was a revolver and a few cartridges to trunks and a receipt twelve dollars and sixty three cents for a white enamel bed a mattress Chris and two pillows purchased from George Sachs at twenty seven sixty two eighth apple inside. One of the two trunks were letters addressed to an ANA amour women's clothing a man's coat embroidered with the name. Eight eight Van Dyke and a few handkerchiefs embroidered with the same letter A.. Found on the pillow case in the second drunk detectives discovered a butcher knife. The large Hansel both scrubbed clean to photographs found found in the apartment showed a young woman. Detectives presented the photographs to the neighbors. Who confirmed that? This was the young woman that they had seen going coming in and out of the mysterious apartment. This was vital as detectives had not yet found the victim's head but perhaps most important to the police was a letter addressed to Anna. That revealed a cousin living nearby Deuce if uglier about men employed at Central Park Lou told inspector for row that he didn't give a damn about about ANA ANA had come to United States two years ago from Austria. I got her job at Saint Boniface Church. It is and that's the last I heard from her at around eight thirty PM inspector for row and his men climbed into their cars hearts taking either with them and headed to Saint Boniface. The Reverend Father John S. Brown Pastor of Saint Boniface Church upon being shown photographs of honor said that he recognized the girl as a housekeeper who had month's worked for him Schmidt came to Saint Boniface as he said around December of nineteen ten from Trenton. A priest had recommended Schmidt to him when Father Brown was in need procure it on the ler was a servant in the house at the time. My sister who is my housekeeper took a little trip with me to Europe in nineteen eleven for the Brown told reporters and while we were away way had trouble with the servant. Who temporarily was taking my sister's place on a quit? After we came back from Europe she came to ask for her place place again and she was reengaged if any intimacy between Anna and Schmidt began while they were both here. It must have been while I was in Europe. Certainly I never saw anything wrong Schmidt I might call an average priests. Although he performed his duties here acceptably there was always we something about him. That seemed mysterious to me. Usually his face bore an expression of piety but at times he suddenly would glare lion. I was so interested in these changes of expression that I tried to puzzle out what caused them. But couldn't he was the nearest Chris to Stevenson's JEKYLL and Hyde support expressionist concerned that I ever saw although we got on fairly well enough together. I can't say that we ever quite harmonized. Nice Father Braun told detectives that in May of Nineteen Twelve Schmidt told him that he decided to go back back to Germany. Schmidt was packing when word came to Father Brown that an assistant priest was needed temporarily at Saint Joseph's church coach on West one hundred twenty fifth street. Before returning to Germany Schmidt agreed to go to Saint Joseph's and fill in but but then he liked the place so much father Brown said that he stayed inspector for row and the detectives rushed to Saint. Joseph's the parish house. They arrived just before midnight and rang the bell. The senior pastor opened the door inspector for row asked if there was a man called Schmidt in the house there was he said. A priest named Hans Schmidt the pastor went to fetch him and sleepy eyed and dressed in clerical. Eric Garb Hans Schmidt came down to the reception room of the Parish House and approached the detectives inspector for row very deliberately introduced himself as head of the Detective Bureau and then introduced each of the men with him as homicide detectives. Then the inspector showed a picture of honor to Schmidt and asked whether or not Schmidt knew her Schmidt said that he did not but the look on his face said that he did the inspector questioned Schmidt for several minutes about the Austrian servant girl that he might remember from Saint Boniface. The one who became became pregnant the one living in the apartment rented under his name. When suddenly Hans Schmidt confessed? Yes I killed her Schmidt told inspector for row when asked why he had killed killed. Anna when asked why he had killed on Schmidt answered because I loved her. "And if you end up disagreeing with me if I'm like way off the Mark on this, especially those of you who have seen his earlier, work, and maybe can contextualize it better, you know, up against his entire filmography, but yeah, I was not a fan of this one. So the other movie that I saw that was way better than this. And I enjoyed it way. More anyway, is the night of the hunter, which is from nineteen fifty five this is on the criterion channel right now. It is the only movie directed by Charles Lawton, who is an actor who was been, you know, he was an Oscar winner, who in a bunch of stuff witness for the prosecution and Jamaica in and mutiny on the bounty and Spartacus. I mean he's been a lot of things. But this is the only movie he ever made as director, and this movie rules, it is about a priest who is actually a serial killer and he's. By Robert mitchum, and he just sort of rolls into this town and basically, ends up trying to seduce the wife of a guy who robbed a Bank for ten thousand dollars. And the guy has been taken out of the picture. So Robert mitchum's character just comes into sort of prey on this family and, and tried to get this money and it's all about greed and avarice than it's like this dark moody piece. I think HD you would really appreciate it based on your love of, like gothic related things just the cinematography, and this is so gorgeous. And the acting is, is so on point. I mean, I you know, I think for a lot of people, this is we're talking a lot about a stars born last year with Bradley Cooper, making his directorial debut, and there was a big discussion about actors stepping behind the camera. And you know how a lot of times that just doesn't work for one reason or another. They're relatively few directory all debuts from actors that work, really, well, I'm glad to hear that book, smart is another one that, that does work. But this one, I think is up there in, like or has to be up there in the conversation of the best movies that are that were ever directed by people who were printing primarily notice actors. So as called the night of the hunter, and I would highly recommended this on criterion, generally, I wanted to jump in here too, because no, the hunters amazing out if you didn't recommend T is going to do so right here because this is. Not only is a film. The war fairy tale is how. What I do paper and Gabriel to'real has cited this many times as one of his chief inspirations for panted labyrinth and other films like that. So even though we don't see an immediate connection. The film is shot in a way where it feels like a fable reinterpreted through someone's nightmares. It is incredibly good. Yeah. And a lot of it is told through the perspective of the kids in this family, and, and it's got a lot of that. Yeah. Like Americana childhood vibe. But this looming predator is just lurking in the distance and Robert mitchum, whose guy who's probably best known for like, Noir movies like out of the past. It's just like so scary in this movie. "Boy. I have a soft spot for lone gunman. It wasn't a bad show. It was just never really gonna be the compelling show for a lot of people. It was way too dis. And also, let's not forget the weird twin towers episode really was creepy after nine eleven they basically look it up. So what I wanna marry they lone gunman? They're kind of weirdly geeky adorable at the fun. Even if it's literally more like a communal marriage. You know, it's just weird kind of four person marriage. I think it would be fun at if we would definitely do some terrible DND campaigns probably with them. So I'll have good snacks probably. I don't know. I think they might be the kind of people that are just like to socially inept to really expand their snack horizon beyond just what they're used to like creatures of habit. Right. So if they started snacking on pretzel rods when they were sixteen that was her thing, they're not just still snacking Purcell rods now and pretzel rods. Harsh realm. I guess we'll bully. Also in the third hour. Bruce Feldman a Fox Sports college football reporter and a lot of news coming off a weekend. In college football, hit me up. Phone lines are open I have not been here since last Tuesday. All right. We'll give a little bit of a peak of how we do things. Let you inside a little bit. Let's go behind the scenes. So when it comes to the start of a Monday show, there's a lot to choose from. Because when you look at any weekend this time of year, you've got college football. You have the NBA. You have college basketball. There's some hockey generally, though, as you know, the focus is on the NFL. Generally, the NFL is my top priority on a Monday morning and more specifically one of the elite teams the plate. On Sunday now in that regard, the weekends little bit different because Kansas City and the Rams were off the saints. We're one of the sixteen games the play back on thanks giving. The patriots played the jets off something on that later on. So really where does that leave you with in terms of the NFL if I have to start somewhere where does that leave you? I mean the other elite team in the National Football League that I'd be talking about would have to be America's team. I'm talking about the Cleveland Browns. Yeah. I said it and I've been saying it America's team rolled into Cincinnati to face the Bengals and their old head coach, hue Jackson. And they were so new Browns about it. That are hurt. Yes. I said new Browns because they're not like the bras. We knew these are not your so-called. Father's Brown's these aren't even last year's Brown's. This crew is different. They play with an attitude. They play with swagger. Damaris Randall who declared on Friday that if the Bengals didn't have AJ green, quote, they're getting their ass beat end quote. Well, Cincinnati did not have AJ green. And they did get their ass. Pete thirty-five twenty the new Cleveland Browns talking johnke, it actually backing it up and nobody backed it up better than Randall with nine minutes left in the first half Cleveland up twenty one nothing already Randall did this.

I don't mind it one bit because I love Todd now. Listen, it's Halloween today. Ooh. That's that's just what I was thinking. It's a wing today. And so we thought we would do a live call in show. So we're alive. I tell you very much alive. It's ghoulish realistic. Well, actually, we want people to call in to talk about the news of the day. We haven't done this in a long time. It's a free country for a little while. Anyway, Alvin I said on the program was yesterday with John Rankin that I have mixed feelings about Halloween. I think what we need to do is redeem Halloween make it a fun innocent thing at least as far as we can, you know, throw it, and I think that a lot of the old horror movies. I think of the original Frankenstein where wolf the mummy Avalon, the Wolfman, I should say avenue Castillo meeting all that stuff. Is so great last night on Turner classic movies. They had a Barry boys festival. They had hunts hall, and Leo Gorski junior. Oh, they had them. You know? They had there was there was a movie they made called spook busters and instead of Ghostbusters, right? I think Ghostbusters got the idea from this the Bowery boys. But I used to watch Barry boys as a kid. Did you watch? I did. I Barry boys. They always would go into a haunted house and stuff that kind of spook stuff to me is so innocent and so much fun. And it would be a crime for the people who are really Satan, or who are into violence really dark stuff or praying to the devil. You know to rob us of that kind of fun innocent joy. And I think when I was a kid Halloween. You know, you dress up as I think when I was five I guess if it's Charlie Chaplin and my brother dressed up as superman. My mother made the costume. I'll never forget. My mother made the superman costume for my brother. Oh, speaking of which we have a contest, I mentioned we have a contest if you dress up as darnold the caveman for Halloween. We will send you a free personally signed to you Donald drains the swamp book, there's no other way to get a personalized book you maybe can get assigned book if you get a premier collectibles dot com that's premier with an e at the end premiere collectibles dot com. You can get assigned book. But if you wanna a book signed to you to you, the Wolfman or whatever your name is you you have to dress up as Donald the caveman and send us a picture. So you send a picture at info? Two info at Eric Metaxas dot com, and you get more points. If you're at a party, you know, we could see the people in the background. They have their their drinks. Yeah. You don't know what we're gonna send you we'll send you at least a signed copy to you. Donald rains a swamp with with a button and a sticker and all that kind of. Stuff. So we're just we're just letting you know that that's that's out there. There's a lot of stuff in the news that I wanna talk about. But before we get to the to the to the depressing stuff. I want to say that I watch Turner classic movies a lot. What are you? What do you watch? If you're home, and you're just tired. You're not gonna get any work done or anything. More about, Christ but I've Christ a longtime? Relationships since I've been three and a half after my father died but the? Truth of the matter is is that this, has, been going on homosexuality pedophilia for sixty years. That I know of and no. One's done anything about it it's it's not a Vatican two you can have a Vatican Trefor but if you don't get back to a one on, one relationship with, God as opposed, to having someone dictate to you? What? You should do or not to, including the priest the priest needs to be held accountable but more than that it's the pope in the cardinals for sixty years and now they're still doing nothing are you gonna personally are you going to? Personally do something within your your parish? Let's say are you going to ask questions are you gonna hold your parish. Priest accountable by asking questions on this matter This priest and maybe Berge. Around even listening now you know I. Came up. With the with? A, poem Murray. What'd you because he is would you do it if God were there would you say if God there. Because he is I have a copyright on that in more people should should think about that. Before they do a lot of what they do but especially the priests this is so disgraceful for what's been going on for the sixty years that I know of. You can talk all you want. You can go into your concessional, if you if you still go into a confessional you can have one on, one relationships with priests and they haven't listened for sixty years so what are you, really supposed to, say Marie rod we wanna thank you. For the call we, appreciate it I also want to say one thing there are a lot of great. Priests out there there's? A lot of great priests and nuns out there who are? Doing real, work in our communities so let's? Not paint everybody with a broad brush Allen's joining us from Clarkston high Ellen Hi hi hi taking my call Maria Maria I'm the one I want to say I think it's really kind of not opening up the scope of investigation wide, enough this is not. A decades-old problem it's not even a century old problem if a problem from the very beginning. Because of the fact that mostly. The priests cannot marry that's ridiculous and I know they're so talked about trying to, change that in it probably should happen sooner than later but another problem is what about. Other countries you know here we are on, the? United, States yeah we'll we'll get on this. Is more of. An effort to do that but my, parents grew up in eastern Europe and they would. Gather the girls one or two at a time bringing input father wanted to see them and believe. It or not some of those girls they were. All rate some of them would get Get pregnant and all of. A sudden you wouldn't see that little girl anymore they had a wister off that work and no one said, a word because it was father Brown's mother so and so and. There's still that stigma that these fathers can. Do no wrong yeah active That's a. Real problem. Too, yeah Remember that yeah you're, acting in the name of five but you're. Not God and you're not fallible and I think that. Dr I've been fallibilities gotta. Go Ruin and wise and Ellen I appreciate. The call and I do. Want to add one thing to your to what you said, about you know. This is happening in other countries for heaven's sakes we know what's happening there Ireland has gone through an enormous. "father brown" Discussed on Conspiracy Theories

"Business evolved, debaters questionable tactics evolved with it according to the theory. Every two beers. One sold the scan that diamonds were both necessary and valuable, and now they're pushing. The diamonds are only real if they come from underground. Remember diamonds are a pure carbon Allah trope because they're made only of carbon the right technology can turn carbon into diamonds by plying, immense heat and pressure to carbon hydrogen and methane. It mimics the natural process that happens underground and produces a chemically identical jam. It is incredibly difficult to tell the difference between authentic diamonds and synthetic diamonds as recent as two thousand fifteen shipments of natural rough diamonds were actually revealed to be around fourteen percents Fetig diamonds. But the latest diamond at campaign real is rare. Real is a diamond focuses on the value of real diamonds. Those mind from the earth instead of investing in new technology and moving the brand into the synthetic diamond business. The beers has gone the complete opposite direction over the past century. Two beers as vehemently railed against synthetic diamonds. In fact, the company has spent a sizable amount of money to create technological machines to detect and get rid of grown diamonds, two beers and other members of the diamond producers association. An organization that aims to protect the integrity of diamond argue that synthetic diamonds do not retain their value over time. However, synthetic diamond seem to have an ever-growing market as we settle into the twenty first century millennial buyers are simply not interested in spending excessive amounts of money on shiny rocks. But instead of investing in synthetic diamond, technology to beers is running a campaign against synthetic diamonds. However, most of this could be written off as simply business. They have a product and they need to sell it. One could certainly look at it that way. But one last piece of evidence and the strongest for this conspiracy. Theory comes from Nicky Oppenheimer, former chairman of debris, yours, thanks to his family's business. He's the second richest person in Africa up in Heimer himself went said, quote, diamonds are intrinsically worthless except for the deep psychological need. They fill and quote that sounds like he's openly admitting diamonds. Don't have the value purported by devere 's hearing that. How can we argue the debate didn't know the scan they were running when you combine that with the predatory marketing tactics and investment in keeping diamonds a rare commodity. This theory's fairly strong. There's definitely enough to question two beers. Real intentions and wonder if diamonds were only marketed as valuable. I'd give this theory seven out of ten. We can't know for sure, but that last quote from Oppenheimer really sells it. I agree onto our second theory now. Consider this quote from the innocence of father, Brown, the sign of the broken sword by Gilbert, Keith Chesterton where it is a wise man hide Elif in the forest, but what does he do if there is no forest? Well, well, cried Flambeau irritably what does he do? He grows a forest to hide it in said the priest in an obscure voice, a fearful, sin and quote. The question is was two beers. Part of growing afforest. If so, what were they trying to hide? That brings us to conspiracy theory number two, two beers. Purpose wasn't just to sell diamonds, but to set up a new world order. There are several variations of the new world order conspiracy theory, and we've discussed some of them previously, but as a refresher, the basic notion behind this theory as that the powerful and influential. Elite are either conspiring to form and Thawra -tarian government or that they already secretly have. This can also be known as the shadow government theory or crypto Crecy. Those who believe in this theory are convinced that very powerful figures and groups, anything from the company to the Clinton family to the freemasons, have globalist agenda for world domination in the very near future theorist predict that all monarchy's and democracies will crumble, and give way to a few select groups in charge of the government..
