He had really crusaded to expand sterilization laws in california and also around the us so in a lot of states sterilization laws have been enacted but authorities. There were afraid to exercise those laws. And so paul popo would write them letters and try to assuage their worries and say you. Know sterilization is no more difficult or worse than pulling a tooth. you know. it's just no big deal at all and so He.

"Let's dive into this week's episode. It's a fascinating one. So i had the opportunity to sit down with author and historian of twentieth century. American fiction and culture. Audrey claire farley. Now she has special interest in science and religion and now she's a fulltime writer but she used to teach literature at the university of maryland. College park where she also got her phd in english now. She's written for several outlets but she shares with us her first book. It's called the unfit heiress the tragic life and scandalous sterilization of anne cooper hewitt. And of course we're going to dive into it. There's so much even just in that title but this is a story that you may or may not have heard very likely you haven't heard i haven't heard it about a nineteen thirties. Millionaire heiress whose mother secretly sterilized her a to try and deprive her of the family fortune. But be to really Or it i should say it was a really a A marker of the time you know this was the early american eugenics movement and so. There's a lot to unpack with this one. It's a fascinating and horrifying story. And of course an important one to not forget so without any further ado.

"I get your boy. I didn't even get to hear lori and chris harder who are two of my friends. Speak day on kind of sucks. I didn't get to hear that was used. I record it on my ipad downstairs. And i just forgot today for some reason because i to the gym and when i came home i literally had appointment. After point. mapfre appointment. Like i finished my one before either. Slide again after yesterday's miss apps no it was good. I literally slid around Just kind of you know made sure that you're able to be on clubhouses and it was really fun. The only time. I had the only time i had. Today was eleven. Was right there. I love it so that that the and you know some of the stuff that i'm doing is really next level like i'm using people's dna. And i'm i'm really tapping into things that they're they've struggled with for all their life a million. How do you know all the stuff bike. And i was like got his anointed me to help. People live longer healthier not just live longer right barrett so embody and so. Tell me something to finish up with. And then you can tell people you connect with you and and and you know and maybe more about you know what you're doing just something encouraging that you can take away that maybe you're you've been working on or something that somebody's listening can be inspired by. I think you hit the nail on the head when he said there's levels to where we've been where we're going and then kind of the end goal being piece. I think a lot of people think the end goal is massive success in making a name for myself and all these things. I read a book years ago called the happiness equation and that flipped my mind on its head being like oh my goodness what. If i started happy and did great word. You had massive success not the other way around. Not that i'm going to grind. Grind grind be successful then happiness being the in goal and then i realized that there's a huge difference between joy and happiness. Happiness really is based on the things around us. What's happening around me. Not what's happening inside of me. So if you're almost to have a cup of water you swirl it up that's going on the inside and everything around you can't touch it and i always feel like how is stay. Encouraged is checking out. What's going on inside. I feel like this past year really needs. Sit back and reflect. i'm a super huge extrovert. I love people. I always love being out about a zan yesterday. Things in this past year related slowdown for all for all the different reasons but to be really okay with enjoy. My own company has been huge whether that's going to eat by myself or read a book or be quiet. I don't think. I always had to be going and doing to feel peaceful One wanted the biggest things for me having walked down the road of crippling anxiety and high functioning depression These waves up and down since i graduated from college. I joke about being like wow knows the real estate or if that's just lie you know we're gonna roller coaster ups and downs in being totally. I've always been buried opening transparent about it being like i fight for actually daily There's days rear dislike around and just see what happens and then there's the days that i know that when i start feeling that little creep you could just take a day off and relax that i find myself being like well..

"A fear anxiety and peace and peace equals joy right and he said you either spend you know you spend one of your phases of your life in their fear of what's next. Yeah like am. I going to be successful. Am i going to be speaking to am. I gonna do in sales in my you know. What am i going to be doing right. What's next right. Am i going to be doing another business. Am i going to have multiple businesses. Am i going to have a tv shows. You know and and one of my clients is just taking over. The kelly clarkson show and so. I've already made up my mind. Like i'm just going to say to her. Hey how talking to. Kelly clark said we'll just put that out there but no seriously you think i'm kidding. I actually said to her Hey i think the kelly clarkson should have a wellness wednesday every wednesday. She should have somebody come on zoom. Obviously it'll be zoom because we're not aiding a bit and and we'll just ask questions and i will answer them. She said you can call steve harvey and navy. Eleanor join us around table. Chat with all of them. And it's funny because my client. She's in breakfast of champions in the mornings when milia and antonelli and she's she's been on the steve harvey show training ready to go back on. Tv here that's why the super she's such a good person and and so i. I was actually texting with early. I was ordering food for her to be delivered to our house next week. I do some of that for people of take the ease off of him and michael. You know you talk to kelly clarkson steeple and you can always send me That i accept bribes and free food. Maybe we can do that together. Yeah so so. I think when when my friend scott said then you have the level of anxiety where you're you're you're fearful of your pass like what did i do. That's going to affect me over here. Or what person think about me. And then there's that place of peace that places joy which is where we always want to kind of be in and so. Why don't you finish with this once. You talk about some things that you do to keep yourself encourage. Maybe somebody's listening today and mission. And they're not encouraged like they're not maybe there are woman That's a tough marriage. We've heard these things on join. I hear these things on on clubhouse all the time really daily like we're laughing about some things earlier we won't go down that rabbit trail. But but i think you know the reason i started. This podcast was because i want to inspire people So he if you look at the he has the arrow pointing up he being odd influences me to influence people to walk in purpose. right right. got the shield of faith and a little up ero and that was kind of a cool thing how we came up with that. And i think that's what people are looking for. People are looking for cut. You said it earlier about even about like for your. Your women's group like people need a comfortable safe place. I'm even think glen has created a comfortable space. Like i was going to ask you. I didn't even. I had super-busy morning. And i made it so that joy could be started eleven so she could still be clubhouse which i knows her favorites..

Yeah and so And actually i had marcus on my podcast About a month ago and and it's just it's i came on. I was like why are they doing. And joystick asked me to come up to the states. She's like michael. What are you doing in. you're like what should i have a minion black. I find one. That's a guy saying hallelujah. A minion saying hallelujah. Like i had to folly spear filled minion. Yeah our exactly. And i had to say something funny but it's funny how i mean. Let's be realistic. It can be. It can be distracting right like so for me like i have days when i just get up and now i noticed. This is really funny today. When i went to the gyms morning i got this fixation that my wife was on clubhouse right and she was in breakfast with champions and and it's funny i text glennon. He said i said. I said you should call my wife up some time. I just want to see what happens. He said where is she. Yeah and so. It's just funny. How we you know we kinda. Sometimes we bring those things and it kind of brings us out of our comfort zone. So so let's let's share this with me. Tell me a little bit about like your mission and your vision going forward because you're you're still young right and so i'll be thirty two in october. So it's funny. You ask my. Because when i turn thirty one this last october for senate stove pandemic life and everything feeling like Yeah you're like a casual I told myself. I said you know what i want this year to be thirty wonderful and when i said that i was like okay will be so if this is the year we've lifts everyone's like oh you're thirty year like big thirty thirty was really just blah. You know what thirty one we're gonna make this year a wonderful year. I don't really know what that is gonna look like. Maybe the world will open up a little bit where we can travel go has done. Whatever like brora. And i had no idea that i was going to have a head on collision with like thousands of minute. Closest friends Had no idea what clubhouse was until mid december And i think just being in a space where i just love to talk. I get paid to talk you. I love the new talk. I didn't know that now. You're like you put talkers with talkers than very go. But to be in a space. Where i think the passable years we've all found our voice and were now in a space where we can use it so when i said hey i'm gonna make my thirty first year. Thirty wonderful is turned into that. It's been the relationships it's been. The new friendships has been great in business than collaborations. And all these amazing things. I'm like okay. So what is next. Look like yeah andrews. Tell me what that is so it scares me. It absolutely terrifies me. Because i know what's next big at a lot of people that i have connected with in the past. Gosh eight weeks. Like how.

Whatever so ended up had never touched a while until eighth grade eighth grade ninth grade rolls around. My coach was like hey you could really play club as you know. That might be something that you're going to get really serious with you. Really good and so i think again when people see things that you don't see in yourself you're like okay. I'm willing to do the work and put in the ramp and we'll just see where things go so really after. My sophomore year ended up playing on a club team in the off season Play basketball if that was like you know easy easy. Toss joy aided playing basketball growing balled. I now i grew so fast. I grew six inches in a school year. Like the year. Before i was having all kinds like new prob blonston like listen. I know that you want me to play basketball but in my heart related dipping in volleyball and plan on to college in college too. I played on a national team or we played you know. Bt carolina blue my shoulder out. My junior year i've had like reconstructive shoulder surgery I think my days rocking spandex or over ball has asked me to play still. And i'm like i'm required now right like yeah going back to thing like have always been super resourceful I remember being in college after my shoulder out thing like oh my gosh. These deductible is like fifty bucks. Every time i've got to go to the specialist for physical therapy inside is like stop going. I didn't have a car in college. I was one hundred percent of pedestrian. And i was like well. We'll go as far as these long legs can take me and sure enough. I had my roommate like google stuff on youtube. We're going to figure this out and sure enough. My friend a year later had the exact same shoulder. Surgery went through. All the p and i of course down all of the same exercises on youtube. And i've got a range of motion and she does not so. It's amazing how you can just see roller soul in turn out on top every time. Yeah i i always say that i. I I was just working with before we on i was working with the lady from my church and As you get older. I always say that you know the the lord gives us mind willing motions right. Yes spirit soul and body and the only. My grandmother used to say well. What what area can the devil attention said. He can only affect our spirit. Our our mind will emotions right because we have our spirit which is always spirit right and our body who takes residence inside of a body right and and it was really cool joy. When i i was at a bible study in my friend michael kuan who has a huge ministry here in orlando. He actually married. Benny hens daughter and they they have a massive ministry here in orlando. And it's just you go to their church in that you get on. The property in the presence of god is just like they're right like waiting for you to say come in right. yeah and I remember he said he was asking. He asked us what was the. I can always hear all From where they're coming from. I don't care if you grew up. You know in a palatial home or if your lights get turned off every month not being able to pay the bill. So i think when you can just relate to anybody whether you're the ceo. You claim this building. I feel like that's just been something. That's been instilled in us and navy talk to my siblings. Now it's like dang. I can't believe that we're living lives that we live From the nfl other nfl right. Prevails you yet. is that right. He's been playing for the jets. His junior year was against the plan on a losing soccer team. And i run track the off season and that season the whole offensive and defensive line going t one and all these scouts or like. Where's this kid from basically the equivalent of being like. Yeah we stole from the band. And he got tons of fluoride. Scholarship offers ended up playing at notre dame in his league for the past six years. So it's crazy. Our story has never made sense to people. you know whether it's sports or the arts angus brother silas is dance for the new york city ballet for the past eight years you went to new york. He was fourteen But my parents have said like as long as it's legal operative word we will support you getting percents Mama take money out of the grocery budget to since out sedan so to see that when your gifts make room for you no one can shut doors. That god's already opened so crazy ride. And now i'm in real estate here in charlotte and you know that whole crazy back story is like you know sometimes we don't we think we know what we want until doors get slammed in our face Have got something bigger and better view that up for that's been kind of my the story of my life on a slave from lane college sports to sing dodges open doors in provisions Relief from day one so it always keeps me on my toes. But i'm always The so good. That's so good. And i think even as being a successful we were talking about you know and i think you're single right joy. You're single right. As far as i know absolutely so are you the so. You're brother's twenty eight. What's the age range of your of your siblings. Red flags during Philadelphia Fighting COVID partnership detailed in inspector general's report
"Of red flags during cities. Philly Fighting Covert partnership detailed an inspector general's report. Serious of missteps that led to the Health department's messy break up with Philly fighting Covad. The unraveling of the city's partnership. Became a dark cloud over the city's covert response in January with the health commissioner, Dr Farley announcing the city was cutting ties with the organization. The report from the inspector general examines a history of problems the city encountered with the group led by a 22 year old Drexel grad. When the relationship was terminated. Farley blamed the group for not informing the city it had created a for profit arm. Nor that it had updated its terms of service, allowing people's personal data collected on its website to be sold. Farley was also bothered by the group's abrupt discontinuation of covert testing services that had been run in partnership with the city for months. Yeah, it's all the group's fault. And poor Thomas Farley had No knowledge of any of it. He was an innocent victim in all of it. It makes total sense that he would turn to an untested, unproven, unknown neophyte 22 year old Drexel grand to hand out the most valuable commodity in the midst of 100 year pandemic. It makes total sense that the city's health director would say here, kid with no resume or track record. Here's the most important thing in the gateway to our city's freedom. Here, you do it. And I'll not ask questions. And then the press it large and the voting public at large in Philadelphia, all sits around and finds acceptable that the health director would say, Well, he didn't tell me what he was up to. This is acceptable leadership. From our mayor.
Restaurant workers may be eligible to get vaccinated by mid-March in Los Angeles County
"In the middle of some nom nom news. And this next piece is exciting. This comes out of eater l A, which we love and written by a buddy of ours who comes on the show. We need to get him back on Farley. Elliot is the editor and a great writer as well. It's a really neat guy and love of food like we do. So he writes about and this was back on the 12th. He was looking Forward to some of the information that was coming out about essential workers within the food and agricultural industry. So restaurant employees could begin receiving doses around the same time. You know, Mondo, Amy and I start receiving, which is mid March. So we're looking at Um, that changing as well. What does that mean? Well, that means we can see more openings. That means that we might have indoor dining again. Um, sooner than later the these things could be very powerful and very helpful. Towards not only the economy, but let's face it, You know, emotional strength, you know, find finding ourselves again in the community and interacting There is an uptick there has been an uptick in crime. There has been a no uptick in, you know, mental issues and stress and anxiety and all these things. These pressures that we've been taking on through all of this that we need. We need to release We need to do it safely. But we need to release and I think this is good news. So Los Angeles County continues to do these mass vaccinations. You've heard of closures in certain areas. Of course, with the intense whether that we're having, uh throughout parts of the United States. There's also issues with getting meds from one place to the other.
Apple and Hyundai-Kia pushing toward deal on Apple Car
"Apple close to finalizing a deal with the honda kia to manufacture an apple branded self driving electric car. Wanna get straight to the man who has the news With exclusive details the lebow fill great reporter andrew it yes it would be an understatement to say that this would be huge early for the auto industry but also for apple when you look at what is possible here the multiple sources who tell me that they are working towards a deal all make it clear that these are talks that have been going on for some time and that they are moving towards a deal now whether or not it gets finalized that remains to be seen. They're keying in on production at the key plant in west point georgia. That's about ninety miles. Southwest of atlanta. It would be autonomous electric vehicle scheduled for release in twenty twenty four. But the people i talk with say look that could get pushed back to twenty twenty five twenty twenty four. They're going to have to start making steps fairly quickly if they're gonna meet that timeline and here's the most important part. It would have apple hardware and software in other words. This would be an apple car. This would not be apple software underneath a key a model. This would be an apple car. They're keenly focused on making sure that the user experience by the way it fits in with the apple ecosystem. That's a big part of this. The georgia plant by the way. It does have capacity available. And there is the key escape. Skateboard hyundai kia has an ev skateboard. But basically think about that as the platform underneath the vehicle it can be adapted depending on what the top hat of the vehicle would be that could be utilized by apple as they're working on this apple car. We reached out to apple yesterday. It declined to comment on this report or the questions we had for them. We also reached out to hyundai kia hyundai kia. Spokesperson declined to comment on the questions that we put to them regarding finalizing deal with apple one other stock or a couple of others. I wanna focus on here general motors. Why take a look at general motors. Well clearly if apple does develop an apple car and gets into this ecosystem with let's say a vehicle that is for robo taxis or for package delivery firms. Eventually it would also be a vehicle that perhaps or their vehicles that perhaps people would buy as part of their own personal buying vehicle. I'm going to buy an apple car. What are the implications for general motors. And all of the automaker's. We talked to mary barra about three weeks ago when some of these i reports were first bubbling up and we asked her this specific question. What does it mean if apple gets into this game. Here's what she had to say. I'm probably not the right person to ask what apple's plans are. We consider them to be a formidable competitor. So that's why we're working with all the capability. We have with our technology to go as fast as we can to To really satisfy in delight the customer in our vehicles and create that relationship and just incredible overall ownership experience. And guys i. I'm sure there will be some questions during the analyst called for ceo. Jim farley about the landscape in terms of competition maybe not a specific question on apple getting into the auto business as an automaker but clearly This is a space that is developing quickly and again we have talked with multiple sources who say that apple and hyundai kia. They are moving down the path towards finalizing a deal for production of an apple car in georgia.

French President Emmanuel Macron Tests Positive for the Coronavirus
"Macron has tested positive for covert 19 and will isolate for seven days while continuing to work as we've been reporting record tests now from the coronavirus, one concern for medical experts as they roll out the vaccine is reports of allergic reactions. Two cases in Alaska in recent days. Dr. Jason Farley is a nursing professor of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Importantly, there are safety measures in place we we once we give a dose of vaccine. We have the individual wait for at least 15 minutes to ensure that there is no animal axis or allergic reaction, and if there is we have clear protocols in place to address it. Are you still a child at heart I? Believe that these books I had grown up a lot maybe too much and I believe these books kind of reignited a childlike spirit in me in my early forty, so they've been a fun catalyst for bringing back at childlike spirit that may be needed to thrive a little bit more on me, you said to me I think that you know. Hindsight's twenty twenty as you reflect on your life and. You know with the forties brought to you in different struggles. In that kind of thing, you're looking for something you're looking for something to do. And you sort of had this vision this Adia that maybe should write something and the something became these books right? They. Match children were. In elementary school at the time and we had a neat tradition when we would travel places, we would always pick up a book that they could enjoy and we'd be able to reflect. Have Memories. When we got back reading about the places we visited and. We visited Seabrook island a good bit when they were younger, and there wasn't a book towards book on Seabrook Island and we'll started turning and doors started at Ning and we just this project match children kind of pushed me along and I began to share with some people that we were trying to write this book and little, bit I was surrounded with people in my life that. Had Great Knowledge, about bringing the spoke to fruition, and once I had done one. It just brought me such joy, and really enjoyed the process that. I wanted to keep going. To. Help your children when you started this project. So, Madeleine our oldest. She was eight. Mayor Catherine. Our middle child was sex and then James was he was three, so he wasn't really involved with the with the first bucket all. Okay so they're giving you from their age perspective. What needs to go in this book that Mommy's GonNa Right. Do. They volunteer to be illustrator to well, we we can. We seriously consider that because my. OLDEST DAUGHTER! Madeline is quite artistically gifted. But once she started drawing a little bit. I think it just. It felt pretty overwhelming to imagine drawing all the scenes and. At that time we. We met an artist who had never illustrated a book before, but she was very interested in doing it and with the guidance of our graphic designer. We were able to tackle that and learn what specifications needed to have, so they'll stations ended up being truly each of them are. We're going to get under the covers there, but now that madeline she's she's grown up. She's now actually become your technical sport because she helped me get on the podcast today. Actually using her Cronenberg I'll tell you. What would I do without him. Exactly but but a little bit more about you you. Even, practicing physical therapists for for number years and I was just curious. How did had that career path? You know sort of help you in writing these children books if it did or if it did. I definitely think as I reflect back that they are connected. When I was in graduate school, we did problem base learning with the basis of of my graduate education, physical therapy and I truly believe that Matt Ability to problem solve through this whole process of. You independently publishing these books. was largely due to that. That mindset of being able to try to figure things out and using your resources and navigating different things so that she can achieve a desired outcome. Talk about the book covers Catherine before we dive under the overseer. Three different books who's on the cover? So while our main character, Mimi, she stars on on all the on all the covers. And if you'll notice throughout the books, there's there's a bird thing. I just I'm always fascinated by what if you will the bird's eye view? In the first book we have to birds that work together to help me get out of the playoff mud for those of you that are familiar with fellow country landscape. There's a lot of puff mud, really nutrient dense In marshes and provides a great space for Lots of the animals to to thrive and in the second book we have a character named Po the crow. He's got quite a fun personality in the book he's known as. The Crow in the know he just. He's a little bit of no at all, and as we all know, crows can be. An annoyance here and there and so they. Really suits that personality, and then in the last book our two birds that star in this booker. Christopher the cardinal and the cardinal is is one of the guides to the buck, and I believe there's just an angelic spirit about cardinal and then Peter. The pelican patterns are just such fascinating. Almost prehistoric birds, and they just have so many unique characteristics so I wanted to eliminate the Pelican because I really felt like. Children are interested in the Pelicans because there's such a presence of them on the coast with them, diving into the ocean and flying overhead in their V formations when they're when you're sitting on the beach, so a great way to Teach children about a new kind of bird, and also about the importance of. The protection of these birds the Brown Pelican at one point was an endangered species, and it's thriving again due to the many efforts of people along the coast, so those are a couple of. Ideas as you have mentioned before that I want to share with children and families that are reading the bucks all right, so we got these book covers. We got We had deer and birds on all the covers..

In general they tried unsuccessfully to have sex but obviously Chris couldn't why you're you're off brain stuff you're horny but you just can't do it. Am She left? His apartment. Farley was so inebriated he collapsed about ten feet from the door as Heidi exited. How do you claim she could hear that? He was experienced labored breathing. So she's a piece of shit percents being fucked. He's going to die and he said don't leave me I could. Wow it's amazing to omit something like that here zooming. He had finally passed out. She took a photograph of him lying on the floor and then left. We will post flunkies photo of him. We walk back in so she left. She heard him say that she opened the door. And I took a picture There is a lot of blame on her part for leaving him. And I said this I was at a Work Party before I came to record this and I said that to another bill a guy love and fucking cheating on older guys got long while Cutie. You're cheating on me with an older guy but our fucking he said to him. I was like if it wasn't for fucking her. He could probably still be alive even if she were to call the cops and be like this guy to collapse Chris Farley and the actual collapse and then run out they would have been there in time for special fucking fast he probably would have survived a lot of people blame her for his death in general and as a close friend if. I was Sandler if I was Mike. Myers I might blame her because I was like sure. Blame her but really the very sad. Q This What was going to be no? The Risk Farley was discovered the next afternoon by his own brother John heartbreak so fucking if I walked in and one of my brothers were dead like beds. I honestly I don't. I don't know if I'd live like that. That's the end of my life. Man That's heartbreaking versus body was still lying there just ten feet from the door clad in Pajama bottoms and button-down white t shirt. That was unbuttoned his hand. He was clutching a baseball cap in Rosary. Beads man this fucking. Why do they have those things though he had he? I guarantee base Garin baseball CAP. Probably that he had close to him that he was holding his heart and then clutching that but I have a feeling that he he had consciousness for a couple minutes and then grabbed rosary beads and started praying in his head. And and that's like this is going to get pretty sad. He was he was bleeding from his nose and fluid was coming out. A white frothy foam was coming from his mouth. Sean immediately called nine one. One Chicago. Firefighters received the call just at the two PM. Farley was pronounced dead at the seen by the paramedics he. He was thirty three years old the same age dom Belushi upon his ultimate. Very sad and are we will oppose these pictures to strange. Podcast grew page on facebook and instagram. Strange Brew Canada and Facebook. Strange we can all do a sensitivity thing. Because I'm going to post is pictures of him dead. That's what really disturbed me is looking at him. Lying there blood coming out of his nose and how disturbing it really is to see someone. I loved throughout my childhood looking like that in that he let himself do this to himself. Essentially I wasn't too much of your childhood. So accidental Burr ffynnon cocaine intoxication. Don't even acknowledge. Some reports say that. The search of his apartment failed any illegal narcotics but many prescription drugs were found but others reports. This bottles of booze both emptied half-full were thrown around the apartment as begs of suspicious white powder and they couldn't test that to realize that there's probably coqui like on the fact. They're like well they did. They ended up twenty-six whiskey. We got a beard share but he had bottles of booze around. So he's and then plus doing coke. Coke does help you drink a little longer. Fucking a significant but the fact that he was probably just like you get so you're probably blackout all the time. Not really known what he was doing instead after failed attempts to save Chris. Because he was fucking dead. Anyways Chris's body was immediately taken to the county medical examiner where he was given. An autopsy and tissue samples were sent to the laboratory for the toxicology testing. When the lab results were revealed his death was ruled an accident. Farley died of an opiate and cocaine. Intoxication is death was determined to be an accident. There were other drugs system that were ruled to not be contributed to his death k. "When he died. I know that for a fact that that's how he died. Farley asked about whether Oh shit. Wow this is rare. Were both right. Speed ball or powerball is a mixture of cocaine a stimulant with heroin or morphine. And I was like I know I know him with morphine but yeah no. That's how with the morphine version of the damn. That's fucked. I've never. I never thought you'd actually get one of those. I'll give it to you. Got One right. Tom Harley was asked about whether he was trying to be like is here during the interview with the Rolling Stone. Left test. You said I don't know I don't know he said I never met the man. Maybe I tried to be but I don't think so anyway. I'm fatter than him now. Did you know that he died at my age this year at thirty three yeah March Fifth Nineteen? Eighty two the writer. Eric Hedge Guard noted. He looked as though he was saying that when he looked as though he was saying that when the clock finally ticked passes thirty four th birthday than all of his Belushi nonsense would fade away because he would outlive the man and finally he would be out there all on his own. And it's sad that he John Belushi so fucking much that he wanted. Die Fucking Asia. John Belushi died at and also thirty. Three is a very masonic crazy number thirty three degree. Masonry wash it. It's interesting like that. The he worshiped him so much that he ended up killing himself to be like him or was that actually carrying himself. I know I think no no. No no way. He didn't write a suicide now. No he wasn't killing himself that he he think he would have gone and done ten more times but the thing is that it was just enough for him. Gone and done it. Gone and done coke and drugs and a the thing is that this was his last shot and a big heart can only last so long especially that big especially on drugs. Like that's what I love. Adam sandlers breezy. Adam sandlers comment about him. He looked at him. And he's like you can either be fat or a drug addict. He's like you're not allowed to be fucking ridiculous and it's like I think I don't know maybe an alternate universe of Buchan. John Belushi never existed. But Chris Farley daily Christopher John Belushi they toil yet not he idolized. Somebody didn't even representative and he didn't take anything and it's like why did he stands such an odd idle. Usually when you idolize someone that huge like you. Even if you're not doing it on purpose accidentally copy their style and another no yes yes a little love bill bill. The ill bill to explode in the name of that is Jordan Jay. No To be honest that was you when we were looking at Swish. La and you just want me to stop talking ripped Ilyas fucking love of God no for today. We'll be fresh. Stop talking about the God. Damn Gillians is if I really wanted to do. Pretty Good Chris Farley impression. I've watched so much of his ship man like I think I could do it if I really got loud. That's a full head and body. I think but this is crazy. Like so when we get to his death or getting into close now but in the days before his death he was drinking at a bar called crow bar and at a bar called Karma at the cheesecake factory at the hunt club. He's very he's again. I'll go here in the night. Go over go where he did. A Wolf Jackman Wolf Dj Wolfman Jack Impressions. I don't know who Wolfman Jack Is. Why did why do I WANNA say Wolverine? So do I what I was going to the research I was like Wolfman Jack Jack Wolfman Jack Jonah Robert Smith also is an American disc jockey. Oh famous first gravelly voice. He credited his success saying kept the me in the potatoes on the table. For years of Wolf men and Wolf woman and a couple of shots of whisky helps it. Nice raspy sound. Maybe Terry one of the interest. Yeah I knew a disc jockey is Dick Jockeys right. Se Fuck. You won't see disc jockey fucking Jimmy savant so you didn't Jimmy Saddler Cheval. We'll make it into him. But he's the one that got a bunch of kids so the queen could fuck them or not the queen but let people in the royal family. And that's another episode CAGE SEASON. He lets strippers drape themselves over his body. He arrived at the hunt club with his brother John. And it's like John. Talks a lot in the documentary that he's in and about his life and stuff and his addiction since rebels. But like I don't know I would've pushed him away more to be sober like it doesn't seem like his brother feels bad and all the ship. It seems like you. Should you know what you can you? He reportedly reportedly paid in an erotic dancer. Named three hundred dollars to come to his pad and give him a lap dance he drank vodka and OJ. The girl danced. He seemed disoriented and unstable and he had been on a bender for days and this is sad. He went all around Chicago at the time and he was on a bender fucking days and that's why I said that. Maybe he wanted to kill himself. Yeah it was almost like a through four days bender when he and Donna. That's not that's not what that means folded closure. I've done those days. No but what would. He does a weekend half. That's fine but I'm saying that he's he's saying that he's went. He like He. He seemed like just WanNa push himself to the edge and see if he was going to die or not because what that is is was for him. You know why that isn't I want it. I'm going to keep doing it and ask anybody that. Saw process doesn't go. I agree I've also done a lot of research on Chris Farley over the years and I know that he was very depressive time at this point and he was he was talking to a very dark shit documentary watch would go from like Super Happy Guy but then after twelve o'clock at night he would switch this dark side where he would joke about funny ship blossom into really dark shit like because he gets way to kill that hooker over there. You know what I could probably bail the cops. Because I'm Chris Botti Shaikh bad. Yeah that's not a quote planet. Hollywood opening in Indianapolis Chris Farley sweating profusely grossly overweight in acting. Completely out of it was hamming it up with the crowd by dosing himself in the bottle of milk at least one friend of something on the table. Farley and Sarah Live Co Star. Mike Myers explained why the energetic comedian scared him to death. I'd improvise with Chris and I was scared to death because he had already knocked. Someone's tooth out and gave someone else a scar just for being so craigslist. From his anecdotes. It was so yeah. Yeah it was also revealed in the dock that Farley made at habit to surprise Myers in the shower fully nude as I mentioned funded by so fucking for the jokes. German time I did that. Grandma kicked me. Hope David Spade. Explain how what are the most memorable scenes from Tommy boy came out capable in? Chris was doing that bit to me at work. We shared an office. In Chris's desk was behind me. And he didn't really know how to write or read really kidding but he became bored. You See. He'd be Super Board obviously and he would say Davy turning around and I said this is fat guy in little coat. I'm not turning around. It's not funny more and he would say no I've got I've got a whole new thing. And then he would turn around and he would have him and his he would have David Spade Levi jacket on fat guy. Don't you give up on it? Fat Guy Little Cone and so when we did Tommy Boyd. We were looking for jokes and the scenes to make them better. We sided that was funny to us and may be funny to other people so you put on the fact a coat and the slaying which was not actually funny was not planted all and the Cote actually ripped on. Its own like that wasn't put in. It looks pretty look through Renton and he was actually legitimately fucking doing it. Which is like you actually ripped his fucking code. Well that was a super small coat. Not as big fucking dude. Don't do that guy a little a little that guy and bad guy a little gold. Oh my God how much I love that part in general it just shows Chris Farley's childlike nature in what he was kind of like as a person was he was like just a goofy guy that having finding ball in even though he did like a fuck enough drugs to kill a horse. You GotTa Watch out for your happy friends. Yeah especially you know. Don't you spend nine? He didn't do speedboat airspeed. Bob Bob a few of Farley's friends claim that that funny man. A few friends of Farley claimed that the funny man had been obsessed with licking things Chris Farley everywhere you went was licking everything Adam Sandler said on a late night. Show in two thousand fifteen. He went out for dinner at Wally. Joseph's like twenty of us. We're walking and talking to him as we go. He gets antsy. He's got to give him a minute. And then okay buddy and you just saw him run back one hundred and liquor mailbox and come running back feel like that was a lot of his coke addiction that he just had this energy and shit if you had enough money where he was probably doing it every day. Kinda ship though I mean and then you know I can't. I can't speak from my own experiences. Yes I feel like my. It's different towards me and other people. Yeah Yeah I had my own dealings with drugs and shit like that and it's just like I can get where that came from where you'd fuck. I D- I asked you back when I was working at restaurants and stuff and like you don't even try. It is the thing I did when I was a fucking ninety s kitchen that you don't fucking try because God knows if you're anything like like there's a lot of people with very dicta personalities as they have now I of course shit you quit everything like your fucking confined with or without it. I'm like no I fucking know what I'm right so give them also older now. Though back in the day I was always lucky that I didn't touch really hard shit till my early twenties and then I kind just say fuck. It was a teenager. Our it would've killed me like I was very addictive personality when I was a teenager. Do Crazy stuff that I probably shouldn't have done. It doesn't leave former Saturday night. Live writer also witness Farley. Odd Licking compulsion firsthand. He opened his wallet. It looked everything inside of it. The pictures the money he had. Oh my God I had to lick his own shoelaces tied him up. It was totally nuts. That's Crazy Joe. Weird thing to see. Never look everything now like it's a joke and then it probably became a habit it probably turned into a habit more than anything for the frequently sought help for addictions and drugs and alcohol. The first frequently statement the first of his his over seventeen stints in Rehab began in Nineteen ninety-one fucking Bourne. He just started in ninety one. He's going to rehab and that was after his us that was before. Snl put him into Rehab. No he was in he got. He did everything to excess and when it came to drinking in other stuff he caught in a world he got caught in a world. He couldn't get out because he did have an addictive personality. In it's bad it's dangerous and also because Chris Farley was totally obsessed with John Belushi like another brilliant comedian who struggle with drugs now call in weight management and John. Belushi died in hotel because of a speed ball doing speed balls. Not Heroin and cocaine. Yes it is. It's not a speed balls cocaine and morphine all right. Well I will look into that but I'm pretty sure that's it's heroin and cocaine but I'm pretty sure we'll sodomy all over again. I know he's looking at but I knew something I'm hundred place. I know that John Belushi had cocaine here when INA system.

He had some. He wanted to try a long time to me. Please use it on. Who is that girl again to Kristen Wig? I think now I wasn't Chris Wig fuck. I can't remember her name on my bad. Remember name either. Sorry you're not memorable but the name of the character was actually drawn from real life friend of during a troubled time who lives in a van near the river. Funny thing is this guy. Actually name was Matt Foley. She is now a priest so I thought he was always a priest. No I don't know why would you be living down? I Y Y you're not living in the church. I guess that sounds like a better place. To live. Offscreen Farley was known for his pranks in the office of Saturday night live Sandler and Farley would make late night prank phone calls from. Snl offices in the Rockefeller Center was Rockefeller Center with Sandler. Speaking in an old woman's voice in Farley farting into the phone and cars from a limousine. That's pretty fucking jokes. Actually not going away. We can all say Saturday. He had like energy about honestly. So exhilarating Chechnya I. This might be bad. I find a lot of like fatter. People have what the fuck was that. My doorbell sound like somebody died. Well this is crazy like we're talking about like how we use. Mooning cars out the window of defecated out of a window. That's so like there's no way would actually go on the road that would smear through the side of the car so fast your asset ahead to be hanging out so far is such a big guy. There's no way of fully fits through the window. No he did ass up out. The top of the window limousine winnow pooing through Sunday downwards. That call again changed every podcast. How he's like Mike Myers? I don't know why but I always shower it at the studio and every week I forgot but every time I did Chris would come in with his Dick tuck between his legs and like Michael. I love you which I think it's pretty funny on Milady. I'm elite Chris. Rock once claim that he probably saw Farley's private parts more than Farley. Farley's girlfriend did Sandler Toll Conan O'Brien on the tonight show that. Nbc fired him and Farley from the show in nineteen ninety five which is like I guess. Outrageous he got he got fired from SNL. I thought he just moved on now. Get FIRED ADAM. Sandler did well. Maybe they both at the same time. I didn't know he like. Why did Sandler get fired? You know that is is Jewish. Oh my pretty little pet. I love you so a stroke. It had it then is in love my little naughty fat your body and I take my naughty. I killed it like man. He's got to be one of my favorite movies of all time. Have you ever comedy movies of all time for a show? It's so ron peer and not like actually like just straight up just a funny dude playing himself which makes it that much. Better one also. We obviously have you know black sheep it in do as well as time boy and they tried to identically as well But it was still a great movie off Shakes Towel. You're eighty nine me and he's like if you've never seen the movie he's like there's a log cabin there's like a bat and he's like they're trying to catch it. But he's like David spacious beating the Shannon Chris Farley underneath the blanket. It's fucking great. I did it did almost identically to tell me in the box office like any time now to date. It's at like thirty seven million a success and that was thirty domestic box office. Earning around thirty two point four. Yeah getting a large cult following on his. Hi Tommy Boys Gone. Up to thirty seven now but I think there's just people buying a car ferry. Yeah got a couple of extra mental. But yeah the two films established Farley as relatable bankable star and he was given the title role for Beverly Hills Ninja which finished in which finished in first place at the box office on. Its opening weekend. What did that did for you Farley? I don't know look that up but probably pretty good fuck drug and alcohol. Abuse Related Problem. Problems in interfered with harleys film. Work at this time is it worse really did thirty one point five so close but taking drugs and alcohol were kind of getting outrageous fearing with him and his film work life it all that. Shit and the production of his final film. Almost heroes was held up several times so far they could enter Rehab. Which makes me want to watch that movie and I do have it like I bought my playstation so I've never seen after I've never seen sooner when I was a kid or something so let's wash like sometime next weekend or something. We'll get together when recording before we watch the the after care about our plans. Tommaso date by daytime by time. You fucking psychopathic girlfriends. Yeah the wall. I will do that because I've only seen clips of it or see him. When I was younger I want to see it. Farley was originally cast as the voice of the title character in the movie Shrek he was supposed to play Shrek. No Way and there is. You can find on Youtube of him doing the voice. Oh my goddess strike like that would have been omb as it was going to hold it for movie men on him to play it. Yeah recording eighty five percent or ninety five percents according to some sources of the character's dialogue but digest for the recording was finished very sad a super sad because he would have done it and then they would put it out and then Mike Myers film his role. Eventually but why you could. Yeah you did it anyway. If he didn't die I guess you could still Detroit filmmakers felt could talking about Shrek right. Yeah Okay Yeah. There were some well. Yeah the filmmakers felt continuing the film with Farley's Farley would be bad taste so he did. He did that much. Almost ninety percent of the pretty much finished his job and then they're like nine. Never mind you're not Shrek anymore. We'll be st died. Oh that's what you mean. Okay so Shrek. Dialogue was re recorded by former S. No castrate Mike Myers. Who I thought fucking wrote. I got a little emotional sad stuff. But why are we doing this We're always reviewing the famous dead. That is a series that we've already started with Sydney antsy and stuff. We're going to keep going on it like. Tom will jump in there and do some celebrities desk people who related to so why. We're especially doing this wine and why. I've always wanted to do this because you know it was disturbing kind of the way he died in you know he was denied an fucking floor. A hotel thing is like we'll get to that resonates with us more significantly to like we used to white special ladies and like they're just nothing but little guy in big coach so that's why like in the skinny guy so when we're working together at restaurants we're young cats and shit he used to go for. Billy would go for a smoke with all my jacket and you'd be like skinny guy big like you know because I'm a bigger than billy. Obviously he's a little stick bug so it's a little different now. I grew a few feet since his name was Christopher Crosby Farley so he forced on February fifteenth. Oh I thought it was Valentine's Day nineteen sixty four and we'll get to his death later died in nineteen ninety seven. But that's why like also I was like. Oh the good time and do this. His birthday's literally coming up. Yeah so just kind of get idea do this. He was an American actor and comedian earlier is known for his loud. His luxury yacht. Energetic comedy style was a member of Chicago's second city theatre. Second City was like where Bob and Doug Mckenzie we got her name from came from was SETV so second city. And they used to like fucking Rick Moranis and Paul Thomas Doug to fuckers names that would they came from and it's kind of interesting. That's why we took this name. But they were on second city also. A lot of people started there. And it was kind of Improv Improv. Yeah it's a lot of Improv. But well more or less. Just Chris. Farley played Chris Farley did a lot more prevalent so so much as they say right like a lot of the read their skits. They did their skills. But it's all just Kinda skit comedy if you've never seen Saturday night live but skit but he was also a cast member of NBC sketch. Comedy show obviously Saturday night live between nineteen ninety nine in one thousand nine hundred five. He went on to pursue a film career in nineteen ninety. Five nine hundred ninety nine hundred ninety five. He went to pursue a film career starring in such films as Tommy Boy Black Sheep and Beverly Hills Ninja Beverly Hills Ninja on my favorites. There was like the last one he did before he died. I know it's not actually did another one. There's another one in. I've only seen once body. What's not only those his movie. Yeah it was. I don't think he did another one. Did almost heroes. Yeah almost heroes. That's it yeah. After his death in ninety seven his final completed films almost here isn't dirty work released in ninety eight respectively. So he didn't. So what did he do half these movies now? He did it all but they finally cut it and put it into production share. Okay so yeah. It was almost heroes. I WANNA watch before but I wanted to watch owners. I've heard of dirty work.
