"Out of Virginia Tech. This is a very interesting corner group this year because of all the names that are being floated out there Sean Wade Patrick `certain now JC. Is. Starting to get some significant buzz as possibly being a first round corner. So this this group has a lot of shuffling pieces where a talented corner could end up sliding into the early second round and Caleb. Farley could be one of those guys. He might not be in play for the giants if they're picking in the top ten, but he could very well make sense if something happens and he slides to the very beginning of the second round and that frankly Chris I think that he is somebody the giants could possibly consider moving up for if he's there at the first pick and second. Yeah I could definitely see them making a move like they did for Landon Collins to go up and get cable caled Farley. As, you said, there are quite a few really good corners at the top of this draft which considering the wide receiver classes that have come out the last couple of years maybe that shouldn't be terribly surprising. College football is getting all these big athletic guys in and they can't put all of them at receiver have to imagine coaches. We'll take the ones who maybe aren't so catching the ball and move them over to defensive back or these defensive back start getting a whole lot of practice defending these great receivers and that just helps elevate their games. Early he is. Again, we're going over the players who opted out of the twenty twenty season. So he doesn't get the tape that some of the other guys are putting out there right now. So that could. That could contribute to a slide down draft boards for him. Just kind of an out of sight out of mind type situation. But he is definitely an intriguing. He's big. He's long. He's relatively new to the corner back position, but he's really good impressed man coverage and when you have a big long athletic press man corner the NFL loves those guys. Yeah. That's the big thing for me is that he's he's so tall he's got the length six to seven. We're seeing more of a transition for coroners to have a presence. And needs to be bigger because of how big athletic receivers are becoming now. So you can't just have a big corner or small shifty fast one you need guys that are in between that can cover any type of receiver that you're facing off against and Farley fits that bill six seven as I said that length has to be the big strength that we talk about here, and that is something with any prospect. If you have the length on the defensive side of the ball or in various offensive positions that gives you an edge even if you might not be as technically sound as some other prospects having. Extra physical tools can give you an advantage in certain matchups. If you're facing a receiver that has shorter arms or shorter than you. If you're a guy like Caleb, Farley, you can use your arms to keep a strong distance to the guy that you're going up against. Even if he's a little bit faster than you, you can still maintain that level of contact by just reaching your arm out and keeping it on the back of their Jersey. So those long arms allow him to do allows them to trail guys pretty easily and also a big thing for me you see on tape. Those long arms allow him to reach out and tip balls if he needs to. Maybe he's not there to make the play immediately as the ball being caught, but he can reach out and stabs his hand through just a knocker pawtucket free. Yeah he does do a good job at that. I've noticed he does a pretty good job of. Watching receivers letting their is their heads, their hands, Q. Him to the ball, and then reaching out knocking the ball away at the catch point I. Believe he's got US twelve unle-. Check that real quick. Yet he had twelve passes defense last year in twenty. Nineteen. To go with four interceptions and for a guy who isn't targeted all that often he does a good job disrupting the pass and part of that is because he is a surprisingly fluid mover for such a big corner certainly that fluid movement is one of the more surprising things for me when I was watching his tape because when you see these taller corners when you see these guys that are. Close to two, six, three, six, two. There is a tendency for them to be clunky when they're transitioning and also very high in their backpedal in their drop. We don't see that as much with Caleb Farley. He's a good move or he's a good athlete he knows how to properly. Control his body movements and he's not out of control in the the big thing for me is that transition the thing that I always worry about when I see tall corners is is having longer appendages. Needed when you're trying to flip your hips i. know that sounds crazy. But typically with taller. It requires more movement to get your hips around when you're trailing somebody. So he doesn't have that issue. He moves pretty quickly. It's not a slow clunky transition. It is a fast fluid movement without having to take very many false steps to maintain good distance with a receiver. Yeah. He really is kind of a clicking close cornerback. You know he doesn't have. He doesn't seem to after really jam a foot into the ground and stop his momentum to change direction and that really does help him and he had good long speed. You know he's got those long legs so. He can eat up turf in the open field he can keep up with bigger faster receivers, but he also has that quickness to close down close passing windows make plays on the ball or come down hill. If it happens to be running, game a running play and make a tackle in the run game, and also for me I, you see that transition ability being an asset when maybe receiver runs a comeback or a a hitch something quick where they plant and come back. He has the good phrasing there. That's a scouting term of click and close the ability to. Quickly transition from one way coming back the other. He's not a guy that can very easily be caught off guard. He is a corner that can plant his foot in the ground and come right back to where he needs to be limiting any amount of space to create an opening for receiver in the NFL. Guys only need a couple of yards to make a catch and then get upfield. So he has that closed down speed, and also that closed down transition ability Chris to I'd also like to discuss his his trail technique. He has very good trail technique for. For the type of corner that he has we typically see. With these six two corners, their strength being body and guys at the line of scrimmage it, their goal is usually to. Shove and aggressively press receivers by not allowing them to get up field I don't think that's really Farley's game instead farley almost plays like he's a smaller corner. Where is footwork is good he's not easily. Forced into biting on a movement from a receiver, and then he transitioned strong like we've talked about into that good trail technique in I will say I, have seen him use solid jam at the line of scrimmage kind of disrupt timing off disrupt receivers a little bit but like he's a he is in a bully at the line of scrimmage but he is capable of getting receivers hip pockets and staying there he's he uses his length really well, and he can talk like catch radius with receivers he has kind of a good catch denial radius. Where you can get in that trail technique or? Maybe have a little bit of separation. From receiver but be in good position..
Philadelphia health commissioner gives COVID-19 update
"Philadelphia Corona virus Briefing. Dr. Tom Farley, the city health commissioner, is speaking. Now a CZ we could find out today now whether the city is going to allow fans at upcoming Eagles games, including this Sunday's versus the Ravens at Lincoln Financial Field. Field. Doctor Doctor Farley Farley spread spread within within the the school. school. When When we've we've seen seen cases cases in in students, students, recent recent cases cases and and staff, staff, these these people people that that we we believe believe were were affected affected elsewhere elsewhere brought brought the the infection infection in in the the school. school. We can't rule out then when he spread occurred in schools, But there's no clear evidence that any spread has occurred in the school building, which I think bodes well for our ability to continue to offer in person education in schools. Just an update on testing. We have information on our fixed sites were testing is available at www Phila dot gov slash testing were also now have a calendar for one day. We might call a pop up testing events, which is a Wwll Phila dot com slash cove it If you want to know what testing new pop up sites might be occurring in the next few days, the next week or so. Get it out their website. Now let me talk about nursing homes. A cz, you know, nursing home Forget very hard during the first wave of the epidemic, half of the city's deaths that occurred so far have been in nursing home residents. No. The nursing homes were hit hard enough. The overall we estimate about half of the total nursing residence in the city have had the infection already, and with those that they were likely to be protected against a second wave that's good for them. Of course, we need to protect others if we do have a second wave, and if we start to see more bars spread in nursing homes. We're not working now with medical centers of Jefferson University University, Pennsylvania and Temple University to provide support to nursing homes and infection control to prevent the spread of the Corona virus infection within the nursing home amongst the staff. And between the staff and the residents. Support is in the form of step training on infection control procedures, testing assistance with providing testing and personal protective equipment. In addition to that we are now going to be setting up an alternate care site for nursing home residents that are the test positive for covert so that they can be cared for in a place where they're not likely to spread infection onto others. This would not be for every covert positive nursing home residents. But for those residents in nursing homes, it can't care for them in a way than to prevent the spread of the residents. For example, if a nursing home does not have a separate wing and cannot separate at their staff in the Copan positive residents to cope with negative residents must be facility with that person could stay during the time when that person is infectious against protect the other residents of the nursing homes. Just a few words on vaccine development. A little update on this. There are studies now on the safety of ineffectiveness occurring in tens of thousands of volunteers in this country. No, the countries around the world The meantime, production has started in the hopes that many of these vaccines that are being tested are going to be proven safe and effective. Right now. There are by my count six vaccines that have received support from the U. S government that are either in phase three trials As the final stage of the studies. O R will be in this phase three trials by the end of 2020. Which means that there's potential for us many a six vaccines to be available in the city, Philadelphia by Let's say, April 2021. Some of those vaccines likely won't make it through the trials that you've proven to be not safe. Prove me not effective. Some of those likely will We hope to have small quantities of atleast one vaccine for distribution in Philadelphia before the end of 2020. You're now in the process of putting together a plan for how we will distribute the vaccine when it arrives. Now, the plan can only lay out a general approach. Because much about the vaccine too Still, I know you don't know which vaccine is gonna be available first. I don't know for whom it's going to be authorized. It may not. For example, the authorized for people over the age of 65 haven't tested in the people over 65. I also don't know how many doses for person this vaccine will be recommended for some of the vaccines are to be given. A one dose of these vaccines are given in two doses. We also don't know the storage handling requirements for the vaccine, and the stores and handling of vaccine really affects how we could distribute the vaccine. Nonetheless, we're hopeful We will be offering some vaccine again before the end of the year. Initially, we hope to offer it to people who are at very high risk for severe infection, such as nursing home residents and people who are vory iris to acquire the infection and then pass it on to those where themselves very harvest for serious infection. That would include, such as the medical staff in nursing homes or home health aides. Later as we have more vaccine, Spanish, other groups so you'll hear more updates. As we get closer to this. This is exciting the point. We're actually getting down to some practical planning, we maybe just weeks away from being able to offer the first vaccine to some people here in Philadelphia. Gotta get to the issue of the event limits. Last week, the governor announced new limits on the size of events that are permitted in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Instead of having fixed limit of no more than 25 persons from indoors or 250 persons for event outdoors and new governors limits based the limit on the number of people allowed on the size the venue. Indoors. The governors of limits would allow hundreds of people are in very large venues up to 3750. People want event and outdoors. The governor's limits would allow up to 7500 people, one of them No, We have real concerns about this in Philadelphia. Because this city this county has his own unique risk. We have very many very large venues of all the counties in the Philadelphia were the hardest hit with covert and our case rates are rising right now. So we have reviewed and we do not feel that this guy is that these rules is safe in Philadelphia, especially indoors, so we will be more restrictive within the city limits then has allowed by the Commonwealth.
Gov. Wolf increases crowd limits for most of Pennsylvania, but guidelines under review in Philadelphia
"Officials declined to commit to the governor's new guidelines on large gatherings based on the size of the gathering place rather than a specific number. Cable W. City Hall bureau chief Pat Lobe reports. A plan to announce next week whether they'll go along with those new rules. Mayor Kenny says Philadelphia has different issues and challenges than anywhere else in the state. When the governor and folks we're getting pressure from legislators and others to open up Mauritz coming from areas that are experiencing the type of infection that we're experience, and when you're making decisions based on people's health and life and death, you better make sure you're right or at least reasonably right before you jump in. The decision is complicated by a recent rise in new cases where they've been averaging under 100. For two weeks. They're back up to 110 a day with a higher percentage of tests coming back Positive. Health Commissioner Tom Farley says that's cause for concern. The reasons for this increase in case activity is not entirely clear. He says there continue to be clusters near colleges but also among other age groups and in other areas such as the Northeast. As for his own exposure to the virus. Mayor Kenny says he never developed symptoms but remains in quarantine while he awaits the results of his second test, Pat

"It may be easier to get a reservation at your favorite Philadelphia restaurant this weekend as a Friday restaurants conserve at 50% of capacity instead of the current 25. There's K y W. City Hall bureau chief Pat Load for the second week. The city is averaging about 75 new covert 19 cases a day and hitting other benchmarks that health commissioner Tom Farley says warrant a scale back of the indoor dining restrictions for to know that there are no restrictions here. Masks for everyone. We're not eating and drinking and face shields for servers, tables have to be space. So they're 6 ft. Philadelphia sued over bill limiting flavored tobacco sales
"Officials struck back today at three cigar makers that are suing the city over a bill that limits the sales of flavor. Tobacco products. Okay, whatever you City Hall bureau chief Pat Lowe reports, the officials charged. The suit is a threat to both public health and racial justice. Late last year, City Council banned the sale of candy flavored cigarillos in any establishment that allowed Children inside the cigar makers charge. This was effectively a ban on all sales since few stores are adult on Lee. And they sued on three grounds that the law is preempted by state tobacco regulation that it's vaguely worded and overly broad. These companies ought to be ashamed of themselves. Health Commissioner Tom Farley says. The products are designed to appeal to Children with bright packaging and sweet flavours, alleging the intention is to get them addicted to nicotine. A drug that kills this is like selling Coke, good 19 and corner stores. Doctor Farley says the products particularly target minority youth before the law, they were much more widely available in communities of color. You want to see one concrete Example, why African Americans have higher rates of cancer and heart disease. You have to look any further than these flavored cigarillos. Philadelphia residents follow mask guidelines, study says
"Finds that Philadelphians they're doing a pretty good job of wearing mass to prevent the spread of coded 19 K Y. W. City Hall Bureau chief Pat Lobe reports. The health commissioner thinks that's a big reason for recent progress on fighting the virus. Health Commissioner Tom Farley says new covert 19 infections fell to an average of 67 a day last week, the lowest number since the second week of the pandemic. Deaths have fallen to about one a day. He gives credit for this progress to people following advice on mask wearing if you're wearing a mask at all, Thank you very much. The new study shows more than three quarters of people on the city's commercial streets are masked. The study is separate from the Health Department's own research, but had similar findings. Doctor Farley says. One problem. The steady identified is that people don't wear masks correctly over the nose and mouth and consistently Don't pull your mask down to talk to the person next to you when you're talking to the person next to you is when you're most putting out the water droplets as the most important time to have a mask on vector for others is the kind of mask is important to Ben Dana's masks with vows and pulled up T shirts. Philadelphia Increasing Limit On Outdoor Gatherings On Monday
"People beginning Monday. Currently, that limit is 50. We get the latest from our city Hall bureau chief Pat Lobe. Health Commissioner Tom Farley says there is increasing evidence that the virus spreads through the air. So outdoor air movement provides some protection. We have few, if any, reports where it's clear that spread occurred outdoors. We have many examples of spread of the virus indoors, even in very small gatherings. So while outdoor gatherings can expand indoor gatherings remain limited to 25. Also, the city is not going to follow the state guidance that indoor dining can expand to 50% of a restaurant's capacity. On September 21st, the doctor, Farley says. If progress is continuing in October, it may allow the higher capacity then for now, it remains a 25%. He emphasises rules about 6 ft. Of distance in mask wearing applied to all activities, which means those
Philadelphia back on a stable track for new COVID-19 cases as Temple outbreak appears to ease
"Health officials say a covert outbreak in Temple University appears to be getting under control. So they worry about other college campus is here in our city Hall bureau chief Pat Lobe has the update. Health Commissioner Tom Farley says the number of new cases a temple is going down, as is the percent of positive results from testing, he adds. There's no evidence the virus spread into the community around Temple, but campuses have turned out to be hot spots across the country. And doctor Farley is asking all the cities college is to do what they can to keep students socially. Distant social gatherings appear to be the greatest risk. We continue to hear about parties. They were reported to us by number of students where there's at least one suit who tested positive. So far, the case numbers have been low. Elsewhere, 68 cases at Penn and about 20 each at Drexel in ST Joe's. Overall, the city is back on a stable track with just over 100 new cases a day for the second week. And 90% compliance with mask use in a survey of retail stores. 17 protesters arrested outside Philadelphia landlord-tenant court
"Moratorium takes effect tomorrow, three days after the state moratorium and it in that short time frame gap. Philadelphia's landlord tenant court began hearing eviction cases. Ability of City Hall Bureau treat path low reports that prompted a small group of protesters to block the entrances. Earlier today, 17 protesters effectively shut down the court until they were arrested about 12 30 Mayor Jim Kenney says blocking court doors is not covered by the First Amendment. But he does sympathized with the protesters cause I don't think we should addicting people in a little dependent. We want to keep as many people in their apartments in their houses responsible until this plague moves beyond us. The city has Seen a rise in new covert 19 cases this week, according to Health Commissioner Tom Farley. He says that most likely reflects the outbreak at Temple. Most of the new cases involve younger people, He says that's consistent with the rise in cases statewide associated with college reopening, he says it will not affect the resumption of indoor dining on Tuesday, though it may slow reopening other activities. The college associate out Lou show that virus still has potential to come back strong. Both Farley and the mayor praised temples response to the outbreak. Philadelphia tells students not to attend social gatherings outside their households
"With some college students back on campus for in person glasses. Okay, bye. W sense when that Lee tells us that Philadelphia's health commissioner is now offering new guidance when it comes to parties and other social gatherings. Initially, social gatherings were to be kept at no more than 25 people for inside and 50 people for outside now, Philadelphia health officials say university and college students should avoid all social gatherings with people outside of their household interviews with students who tested positive. Koven 19 revealed that some attended small gatherings with end illegal Lim Dr Tom Farley says this could be a trend in the statement, he said quote it does not require large social gatherings for this virus to spread any time. Two or more people are near each other without wearing a mask. There is a risk unquote, officials say. Interviews suggest the events are not organized by school officials, days after some students returned to campus at Penn State. Videos went viral of students in large crowds, Penn State's president responded. Britney to stand suit It's home. Philadelphia health officials recommend that if people cannot avoid coming into close contact with those outside their household, they should wear mask
Philadelphia will let indoor dining to restart
"Have reduced the restaurant scene in Philadelphia to al fresco on Lee this summer, but that all changes soon. Hey, Y W. City Hall Bureau chief Pat Lobe tells us it's a sign of progress in the pandemic. Starting on September 18th you can dine inside. There's a whole lot of rules. It won't be back to normal By any stretch. The reopening comes with a slew of rules. Restaurants can operate only at 25% capacity with table 6 FT. Apart and parties of no more than four, the city will be enforcing the rules and closed restaurants that don't comply. But there are limits to its capacity, and Mayor Jim Kenney is urging owners to police themselves, but not pushed the envelope. But follow the rules. And actually, those rules have made us safer and have gotten us to this point. So please Beg you to to follow the rules. Health Commissioner Tom Farley says the step is feasible because the city is moving closer to the target's. It's set for new cases even as testing increases because the percentage of tests coming back positive has been falling. So we're very, very close. So in hopes that we will have continued progress, we will allow more activities. In addition to endure dining theaters can re open but with no more than 25 customers who must wear masks at all times, and thus no food or drink allowed. Hat lobe K Y w News radio.
Philadelphia participating in CDC pilot program on distribution of COVID-19 vaccine when available

It's nearly 40 vaccines in human trials and two in their last phase trials. Health Commissioner Tom Farley says the CDC has asked the city to help figure out how to Deliver the vaccine and track its effectiveness. It's the only city included in the pilot doctor. Farley says He thinks federal officials wanted an urban area and Philadelphia had something to offer. Ye also has a very strong immunization registry. We're quite proud of her immunisation registry, so that is something to build on here and an example to use elsewhere. Doctor Farley says. The group already has an idea of how to prioritize who gets the vaccine. First people who are medically vulnerable. For example, nursing home residents. Second group would be people who might spread infection. Do those medically vulnerable people their caregivers. Charlie thinks the vaccine could become available early next year. Three of those that have the farm's advanced are now being tested in tens of thousands of people, he says. AstraZeneca is so confident in the one it's developed with Oxford scientists that it's already manufacturing it. "Know we don't go to a speed sequential gearbox Five hundred no because that's a better gearbox for eight hundred horsepower. Seven hundred twenty four hour so yeah. I think it's it's something all car companies struggle with Adam and It's so easy to tick that box because it feels good. 'cause there's a lot of people in the company who were saying. Oh that feels great right. You know you're not moving the company forward while it's also kind of interesting that you know old and nostalgia and all that stuff. It's all good. New Nostalgia is weird like when I see you ever see. I don't know why but from the eighties or nineties. Remember they started re popping. Those old fifties. Juke boxes had me on and the plastic and they played Cd's instead of and it was always bumped me. I'd like I'd rather either have the vintage old one or a new modern one. This old new is weird. But let's talk about Bronco Adam do you like to PT Cruiser. Or what would you cut off man like how to go there? I have a PT cruiser. But it's a woody. Oh Yeah and mad. I didn't tell you but I stuck on some fake plastic chrome side vents. Right on how can non vendor so? It looks like it's breathing a little. You Park next your. Hr that weird pickup Iraq. What was that two convertible pickup truck? You couldn't put anything in. I just throw. I can't talk about the competition. I just removed the front bumper from my prowler cleaner. Look and I got the trailer for me when me and my honey bunny go camping and prowler all right. All right let's talk. Let's I'm picturing all and I'm like Oh boys. History is not going to be kind to a lot of those cars Let's talk about the Bronco because the Bronco is interesting and that I saw the the first Jan I guess I Jan Body style. Broncos are getting a fortune on bringing earn auctions and everything else I mean. I don't know they seem like they're routinely fifty or sixty seventy grand right now and also the Bronco did stop which sort of like the Camaro you luxury revolving it all the way through like the Mustang. So what do you do with the Bronco out too good question? Arang where such a great product you know. It's it's in many ways you know minds me of those iconic products like Mustang in our industry. Thank goodness I think for us. We really learned something with raptor. Raptor was a big lesson for the company we did. We did the raptor in. Oh Eight. Oh nine the most difficult at times. Who took a couple of engineers down to Baja and we produced a prototype. Very low cost prototype version F. One fifty get a trophy truck kind of a affordable drope you trump and we were surprised that people love the compliance suspension the release off a suspension but also look and that started to get us thinking you know boy if we could do credible off road like a raptor could we go even deeper and it led us ultimately to the decision of redoing. Bronco and really the big facilitator was to bring back the range or we had this global ranger. It was very successful in Thailand and Europe. We make it in South Africa Thailand and we had the old ranger in the US. But we'd never bought this bigger ranger to us when we decided to do that about ten years ago it really opened the door for having a platform for ranger so the idea from raptor that there is a place where four could compete in the off road market. Not like a wrangler something. Different and then. We had the platform on the industrial side. That we can a great bronco then we decide to do it to get the design right so but our idea with Bronco is really more kind of sand. A higher speed More Kat casual. It's not a rubicon type of off road a product. It's more like Glamis or a few guys on the West Coast store something more like raptor and getting the design. Right was very difficult. We went back and forth. I'm very for jumping in. But you just reminded me like. Do you guys consult with guys like Jonathan Ward or look at their product and kind of go. Let's see sure got a key made a couple of nips and talks on the old one that came out pretty good. Maybe we should see about incorporating some of that stuff. Yeah well I mean you know early on when we are considering the Bronco looking at the icon products at Jonathan Don. I knew him from Toyota because You know it was responsible product planning when we brought that Jay back in. That was a you know a lesson. Ah Let's put it that way. And he was he was doing those authentic cheese to before before. Bronco run you know and and I think Bill Ford started noticing on to personally that this whole super but very kind almost naked approach a like a Kati. Very basic approach offroad Bronco and then the Bolinger came out which was this electric version of very basic off-road Harry Square and Very Utilitarian. Kinda exactly exactly so that. Got Us all really excited to say. Look but let's make sure that we're not holding people back so when it comes to like all the reuss gotta be catchable. You know you have to have all the accessories We WanNa make the Bronco Light. Pretty much easy to customize for every customer I was responsible for signing on a Toyota. The head of the company when we launched it and the Bronco Approach is very much the same like we want to give everyone ability ability to make their bronco what they want it to be. The base design is very functional.

When did COCA COLA START EARLY? Eighteen hundreds how fucked today's fizzy pop. To look it up. I want okay. We will look that up but I had a second part I. It's it's weird. I don't I don't know why this exactly is but men nine times out of ten or more addicted to coke them. Women are weird and I'm surprised with that because you know as women doing. I'm doing coke head. Girls there have been but the physical attributes of meeting it is more prominent have more addictive personalities than women. I get that women are women but I'm saying that surprisingly because they girls like that you'd think about like they don't have to get something horrid and coke can help like your sexual and Ambitions Carlin. Never Mind Shit. I lied I thought I thought Coco was around since the early eighteen hundreds. They they were doing it for about ten years with actual coke so they started in eighteen. Go spock session where he used some ghost equipment one of the ones that were bred. Certain sounds and I swear to God I should play this clip but you can distinctly crystal rallies or something like that on Youtube where you can distinctly hear his voice say like I'm okay like it's okay and he's coming through like a ghost box that I have but the guy's a better one and he's like he's in this guy's pretty legit and stuff and he's a case. Let's let's re news like goes pucks go. Sparks is the one I have. It's radio frequencies it's like ten and it's like saying that goes through talking yet. It's like a goes through hundred radio radio stations in a second. Okay so it's so fast. It's impossible for another station. Actually come in and have a longer sentence or something like that. Obviously myself and I've literally heard I was like say my name say my name same name same name but any would say Thomasson Newman. It's impossible for it to carry a long no fighting and since you know dead. New I shall have batteries for it but I learned sidewalk twice and the exact same female voice Thomas and then doing myself and then mentioned my stepbrother. Peter When boards and stuff like that and like I was introducing to Ouija boards was. I probably shouldn't have done. We played his buddy's house. We wouldn't work unless my hands on it. He just kept bouncing from room to room. He spent his last day on December Seventeenth Nineteen ninety-seven primarily with a hooker named Heidi the fucking bitch in. Heidi I fucking hate this. You hide you throw his broke. No she she fucking left for dead. We'll find out safe shit. Seems he was really into hookers. Hardy the hooker. Heidi Hooker was hired for fire. Heidi Heidi so get this full. Fuck whoever Farley's friend was that hired her for two grand. She joined him. She joined Farley at a party in Lincoln in Chicago. Girl Man. Yeah it makes so much money you have your fucking orifices all find really ever. I don't think he was already at eleven. Am and there are plenty of drugs at this party. Later that day Farley accompanied Heidi back to her apartment where they continue SM- smoke crack and snort heroin. Chris claimed he had been up for forty straight without sleep. That can kill you. In general they tried unsuccessfully to have sex but obviously Chris couldn't why you're you're off brain stuff you're horny but you just can't do it. There's nothing like well if you're I don't know sometimes you get yourself into it though galaxy the fuck did Tommy boy do not actually going to show you. Then add eleven. Pm Kristin Heidi returned Chris's apartment in hand caq the Hancock building. She was growing angrily. Because Chris wasn't GonNa pay her but Chris continue to clean this friend and was supposed to pay her. Reportedly tried to have sex again and again and we're unsuccessful so finally at three. Am She left? His apartment. Farley was so inebriated he collapsed about ten feet from the door as Heidi exited. How do you claim she could hear that? He was experienced labored breathing. So she's a piece of shit percents being fucked. He's going to die and he said don't leave me I could. Wow it's amazing to omit something like that here zooming. He had finally passed out. She took a photograph of him lying on the floor and then left. We will post flunkies photo of him. We walk back in so she left. She heard him say that she opened the door. And I took a picture There is a lot of blame on her part for leaving him. And I said this I was at a Work Party before I came to record this and I said that to another bill a guy love and fucking cheating on older guys got long while Cutie. You're cheating on me with an older guy but our fucking he said to him. I was like if it wasn't for fucking her. He could probably still be alive even if she were to call the cops and be like this guy to collapse Chris Farley and the actual collapse and then run out they would have been there in time for special fucking fast he probably would have survived a lot of people blame her for his death in general and as a close friend if. I was Sandler if I was Mike. Myers I might blame her because I was like sure. Blame her but really the very sad. Q This What was going to be no? The Risk Farley was discovered the next afternoon by his own brother John heartbreak so fucking if I walked in and one of my brothers were dead like beds. I honestly I don't. I don't know if I'd live like that. That's the end of my life. Man That's heartbreaking versus body was still lying there just ten feet from the door clad in Pajama bottoms and button-down white t shirt. That was unbuttoned his hand. He was clutching a baseball cap in Rosary. Beads man this fucking. Why do they have those things though he had he? I guarantee base Garin baseball CAP. Probably that he had close to him that he was holding his heart and then clutching that but I have a feeling that he he had consciousness for a couple minutes and then grabbed rosary beads and started praying in his head. And and that's like this is going to get pretty sad. He was he was bleeding from his nose and fluid was coming out. A white frothy foam was coming from his mouth. Sean immediately called nine one. One Chicago. Firefighters received the call just at the two PM. Farley was pronounced dead at the seen by the paramedics he. He was thirty three years old the same age dom Belushi upon his ultimate. Very sad and are we will oppose these pictures to strange. Podcast grew page on facebook and instagram. Strange Brew Canada and Facebook. Strange we can all do a sensitivity thing. Because I'm going to post is pictures of him dead. That's what really disturbed me is looking at him. Lying there blood coming out of his nose and how disturbing it really is to see someone. I loved throughout my childhood looking like that in that he let himself do this to himself. Essentially I wasn't too much of your childhood. So accidental Burr ffynnon cocaine intoxication. Don't even acknowledge. Some reports say that. The search of his apartment failed any illegal narcotics but many prescription drugs were found but others reports. This bottles of booze both emptied half-full were thrown around the apartment as begs of suspicious white powder and they couldn't test that to realize that there's probably coqui like on the fact. They're like well they did. They ended up twenty-six whiskey. We got a beard share but he had bottles of booze around. So he's and then plus doing coke. Coke does help you drink a little longer. Fucking a significant but the fact that he was probably just like you get so you're probably blackout all the time. Not really known what he was doing instead after failed attempts to save Chris. Because he was fucking dead. Anyways Chris's body was immediately taken to the county medical examiner where he was given. An autopsy and tissue samples were sent to the laboratory for the toxicology testing. When the lab results were revealed his death was ruled an accident. Farley died of an opiate and cocaine. Intoxication is death was determined to be an accident. There were other drugs system that were ruled to not be contributed to his death k. Obviously marijuana morphine could be in PROZAC could be no. That's what it was. It was a speedboat morphine. Coast arguing.

O'brien added Chris. Farley love to eat to a degree I've never seen by any human being in my life. No one day also quoted that as what? I watched him. Eat Two t-bone steaks and eat them like dry rid. We thing in his mouth and just slid off the bone. Yes I will get you ginger. Be So again. We're talking about in documentary. We've watched in two thousand fifteen a documentary. I am Chris. Farley and Sarah Live Co Star. Mike Myers explained why the energetic comedian scared him to death. I'd improvise with Chris and I was scared to death because he had already knocked. Someone's tooth out and gave someone else a scar just for being so craigslist. From his anecdotes. It was so yeah. Yeah it was also revealed in the dock that Farley made at habit to surprise Myers in the shower fully nude as I mentioned funded by so fucking for the jokes. German time I did that. Grandma kicked me. Hope David Spade. Explain how what are the most memorable scenes from Tommy boy came out capable in? Chris was doing that bit to me at work. We shared an office. In Chris's desk was behind me. And he didn't really know how to write or read really kidding but he became bored. You See. He'd be Super Board obviously and he would say Davy turning around and I said this is fat guy in little coat. I'm not turning around. It's not funny more and he would say no I've got I've got a whole new thing. And then he would turn around and he would have him and his he would have David Spade Levi jacket on fat guy. Don't you give up on it? Fat Guy Little Cone and so when we did Tommy Boyd. We were looking for jokes and the scenes to make them better. We sided that was funny to us and may be funny to other people so you put on the fact a coat and the slaying which was not actually funny was not planted all and the Cote actually ripped on. Its own like that wasn't put in. It looks pretty look through Renton and he was actually legitimately fucking doing it. Which is like you actually ripped his fucking code. Well that was a super small coat. Not as big fucking dude. Don't do that guy a little a little that guy and bad guy a little gold. Oh my God how much I love that part in general it just shows Chris Farley's childlike nature in what he was kind of like as a person was he was like just a goofy guy that having finding ball in even though he did like a fuck enough drugs to kill a horse. You GotTa Watch out for your happy friends. Yeah especially you know. Don't you spend nine? He didn't do speedboat airspeed. Bob Bob a few of Farley's friends claim that that funny man. A few friends of Farley claimed that the funny man had been obsessed with licking things Chris Farley everywhere you went was licking everything Adam Sandler said on a late night. Show in two thousand fifteen. He went out for dinner at Wally. Joseph's like twenty of us. We're walking and talking to him as we go. He gets antsy. He's got to give him a minute. And then okay buddy and you just saw him run back one hundred and liquor mailbox and come running back feel like that was a lot of his coke addiction that he just had this energy and shit if you had enough money where he was probably doing it every day. Kinda ship though I mean and then you know I can't. I can't speak from my own experiences. Yes I feel like my. It's different towards me and other people. Yeah Yeah I had my own dealings with drugs and shit like that and it's just like I can get where that came from where you'd fuck. I D- I asked you back when I was working at restaurants and stuff and like you don't even try. It is the thing I did when I was a fucking ninety s kitchen that you don't fucking try because God knows if you're anything like like there's a lot of people with very dicta personalities as they have now I of course shit you quit everything like your fucking confined with or without it. I'm like no I fucking know what I'm right so give them also older now. Though back in the day I was always lucky that I didn't touch really hard shit till my early twenties and then I kind just say fuck. It was a teenager. Our it would've killed me like I was very addictive personality when I was a teenager. Do Crazy stuff that I probably shouldn't have done. It doesn't leave former Saturday night. Live writer also witness Farley. Odd Licking compulsion firsthand. He opened his wallet. It looked everything inside of it. The pictures the money he had. Oh my God I had to lick his own shoelaces tied him up. It was totally nuts. That's Crazy Joe. Weird thing to see. Never look everything now like it's a joke and then it probably became a habit it probably turned into a habit more than anything for the frequently sought help for addictions and drugs and alcohol. The first frequently statement the first of his his over seventeen stints in Rehab began in Nineteen ninety-one fucking Bourne. He just started in ninety one. He's going to rehab and that was after his us that was before. Snl put him into Rehab. No he was in he got. He's earned that's now in one thousand nine hundred ninety pitcher that they're obviously with like they're like what the fuck man you gotta go somewhere. He's a fat Guyanese energy so it's like his college friend. Pat Fan explain for all these battle with addiction. He did everything to excess and when it came to drinking in other stuff he caught in a world he got caught in a world. He couldn't get out because he did have an addictive personality. In it's bad it's dangerous and also because Chris Farley was totally obsessed with John Belushi like another brilliant comedian who struggle with drugs now call in weight management and John. Belushi died in hotel because of a speed ball doing speed balls. Not Heroin and cocaine. Yes it is. It's not a speed balls cocaine and morphine all right. Well I will look into that but I'm pretty sure that's it's heroin and cocaine but I'm pretty sure we'll sodomy all over again. I know he's looking at but I knew something I'm hundred place. I know that John Belushi had cocaine here when INA system.

I grew a few feet since his name was Christopher Crosby Farley so he forced on February fifteenth. Oh I thought it was Valentine's Day nineteen sixty four and we'll get to his death later died in nineteen ninety seven. But that's why like also I was like. Oh the good time and do this. His birthday's literally coming up. Yeah so just kind of get idea do this. He was an American actor and comedian earlier is known for his loud. His luxury yacht. Energetic comedy style was a member of Chicago's second city theatre. Second City was like where Bob and Doug Mckenzie we got her name from came from was SETV so second city. And they used to like fucking Rick Moranis and Paul Thomas Doug to fuckers names that would they came from and it's kind of interesting. That's why we took this name. But they were on second city also. A lot of people started there. And it was kind of Improv Improv. Yeah it's a lot of Improv. But well more or less. Just Chris. Farley played Chris Farley did a lot more prevalent so so much as they say right like a lot of the read their skits. They did their skills. But it's all just Kinda skit comedy if you've never seen Saturday night live but skit but he was also a cast member of NBC sketch. Comedy show obviously Saturday night live between nineteen ninety nine in one thousand nine hundred five. He went on to pursue a film career in nineteen ninety. Say so there are some very. There's a lot of fun here for me in trying to guess consistently being wrong humble keeps me really ashamed. You think you would have gotten it one out of five times the speaking now my stats are battery. Okay so you picked fights so I if you could give your younger self one piece of advice about relationships or food what what would it be. Oh don't take it seriously I I spent the early part of my career feeling like I need to have like definitive takes online. Because that's what would sell Yup and I also spent the first part of even like my a marriage now which is four and a half years old. Like congratulations thank you being like. I know exactly what being married is like. And I'm going to fulfill these roles but the truth is everything is much more amorphous and a lot of the best things happened in those middle spaces. Very good I think if you lived your life like that you'd have a great life tried I too don't take it also seriously have a little fun. Exactly Weird Have Pont. I can't tell you how many hand fans had to walk around with in order to let people know. I was Vegan. How many you have onto a one one for when it's too hot in the winter but you could just use the one? You're so right but sometimes certain you know spring colors and designs. Don't look great in the winter. I'm just GONNA say yeah. You need a dark hand fan for the winter like a navy blue and then you need like Beige or light pink for the summer. I've never had a hand fan before All of those false absolutely not true. Stevie it's okay. Thank you so much I support you and it's not a lie as an embellishment ocean and the color for for podcast and speaking of lies not embellishments. There's one part about the cake that you guys eight in the beginning of the episode guide did not tell you because it colors everything and I don't want that on the table way way way way will hold onto the table. People like being lied to know. You just withholding one bit of information. "I moved here until now. Nothing's changed very golden. Very warm inside your complaints Kanter's just because I grew up going there and that ceiling so delightful Sit under more like its own little beautiful winter atrium. It's really good. I like you think about all the famous people blown through town over the last million years who've been you know there at four. AM on some sort of substance surged wildly inebriated and enjoying the same food that I'm enjoying. It's truly stumbling up those narrow stairs to try to p bathroom in the bar. Oh that's true that all the way across the restaurant I'll do it. I'll do it to avoid those stairs. That's true okay Farley. Yes is that your last Iraq. You have a sperling my last local Iraq okay. Yeah you've national erects. No I guess not one place. I mean Montreal has like amazing Putin but nobody's nobody's going out of their way to Montreal just for Putin do the Pettinari in La close yet did smokes between now Vegan. Place right no no. It's called Bon. We they do if some vegan items but it's sort of like modern Vietnamese food just like delicious casual. You've Danny trae hopeless next door to it. Yes Danny Drills Bon. Yes ask my shed pay. Why do I say that I was supposed to say that you know you have a show that you're inside day it out? Spam Davis Brain is half spam half his own cognition I have a question. I was talking to a friend some time this week and I are we saying that what I find so interesting about some restaurants. Is that all of the food no matter what you order taste the exact same. ooh Like Sage Vegan Bistro. Yeah you can order a pizza there you can also order salad. It all tastes the same. I would say that that is something that is sort of endemic to the Vegan food community. And I know that that you can for awhile right like that's that's definitely part of it. Just because a lot of the ingredients overlap up on the same reason why people talk about like four ingredients make up every menu item at a Taco Bell like you're limited resources time change the configuration. But it's all largely that makes sense because I did say if feels like it's very specific to Vegan restaurant. They all have flavor. Yeah Yeah I'm grateful to not be limited to that anymore. That is yes. Welcome welcome to the much wider world of like delicious foods. Able to leave fun. I did want to touch on this one thing you guys talked about like dibs versus sauces. Obviously so I come from. I would say that all all our sauces but not all sauces are bits. We say that slowly All dips are technically sauces. Yes but the world of sauces is larger than just dips so not all sauces are also dips. Okay that makes so much that now that I'm hearing it out loud. Yeah because you can't. You couldn't dipper fry in in like a runny spaghetti us but that's still a sauce. Then people also would maybe dip like a Mozzarella stick inside of Marinara. Look a chunk of a chunkier difference when you see exactly. Yeah so you were talking about barbecue sauce. I think that's a great example of it is simultaneously an ingredient used while cooking and also like a finishing topping and then also a a dip like it can be any of those things as a sauce yes whereas soy sauce is not usually a de a Sushi restaurant and you might pursue it absolutely. Yeah Oh wow wow umbrellas and layers..

"Nashville style hot chicken with Prince Family called prints out of Nashville and as Legend has it the original founder Mr Prince he was a bit of a philanderer under and his wife used to when he would come home drunk and hung over having slept with another woman in the morning make him food and one day she was fed up with him and he demanded. Did they make her hot chicken that she made him hot chicken and she said I'm going to put as much spice in this as I can to like ruined this guy's Day and she has a way of getting back to him. Made this Nashville. Israel's style hot chicken but instead of being agreed burdened with like health effects. He loved it and they decided to make a business out of it. So now is such. That's a good story. So her revenge became the. The restaurant became prophet. Yes exactly wow what can I do. With investor. Vengeance to pocket after prince is like a worldwide phenomenon in Nashville and All these other places that are like doing Omayad to Nashville style hot chicken okay And it's not just about putting like spicy stuff in the batter. A lot of it is that but then and also finishing in almost like a Chinese chillier oil where the oil itself has been spiced. ooh to Dave's point there's different levels you can get like country which is zero at Holland and then there's always always all the way up to like Howlin plus the hottest possible is it typically deep fried chicken yes. It's all fried chicken okay okay. I was picturing it wrong. So there's like different different like flour and battery mixtures different levels of spice. And then they have like a big oil dredge and then they'll put it through a slightly spicy oil and then they'll also finish it with like more Chili's or like flowers and spices on tolerance so it's very delicious but crazy Haden's by Sunday incredible so the point making about all of this is like how than raises kind of a great great example of the French fries. Their wrinkle cut fries and they do this slightly minute pigeon over backwards and they do a southern style what they call a shake so it took a slightly spicy mix of like herbs and seasonings that they like shake shake up in a bag to put the fries dredge the frozen and it is like delicious by itself one of the greater examples of crinkle. Cut Fries. I think you'll find anywhere in Los Angeles. Yes and then has the real kicker hold on the end of the table. The the there is an entire menu. A secret at Jalan rays of things that you have to know uh-huh to ask for and one of the things that you can ask for. Is Mario Style fries where they will cut up chicken hot chicken it to your spice preference. Put It on top of the French French fries with cheese and some of the comeback sauce spicy early. And then you just like the whole thing out of the box. It is a top-five food in Los Angeles It's a hot chicken version of frito Pie. Yeah sort of. Yeah but with French fries instead of Fritos but yes wait. I love that his Mario Somebody that works a lot of the dishes that are off. Menu are in homage to guys who worked the line there. Oh that's great. That's incredibly the second. I was trying to figure out the Super Mario Religion. No no we g style fries. No no no but I mean little little bit of a tangent but maybe you can speak to a little a little bit because the hot chicken thing has exploded to the point where. KFC Has Louisiana style. Hot Chick. I've never had it. But they they were making a big deal about how they were. They were putting their hat in the ring to that point. There's a bunch of different hot chicken places that have sprung up like in the past couple years like crazy in the wake of Jalan raise exploding for example. There's a place called angry birds. There's a place called Davis. Hot Chicken Davis on chicken started in just like a parking lot right. Yes and now they have multiple double storefronts. Yes exactly and this is a little bit of a dive into Los Angeles history food pop up culture which is like the biggest and most pervasive part of dining in la La. We Fifty Thousand Street food vendors in Los Angeles County. That's everybody people doing. Why chicken tacos to fruit carts or whatever this is also your specialty? Yes I wrote a book in Two Thousand Fifteen. That's all about the history serve street food in Los Angeles. It's certainly my preferred style dining in la. And I think it's what makes this city more unique than any other dining city in America. So Dave's was. There's a couple of guys who used to go to how Andrey's and really liked it and then thought well we can kind of do our own version Put together a couple of hundred bucks started as a pop up in a parking lot and then that because the story he works like they were doing chicken tenders and curly fries at the time and it was interesting to see it. Make it onto the street. They're young pretty hip Armenian guys they just sort of exploded within the Armenian Manian food community and so now there are dozens and dozens of hot chicken places. Like in the Valley in Glendale wherever. They're all doing like sort of knockoff. Versions of Dave's which is itself like originating from Howlin raise interest on that level. How it's crazy? That is so crazy. Dave's now has a franchise agreement. They're we're going to probably have I would venture to say eighty locations in the next five years. WHOA signed a franchise deal with the people who like Wetzel? Pretzels became literal millionaires. William Ayers overnight the sleep it only has the allies as the one yeah but these off-shoot or copying of raise. They're now millionaires. Their business models are different to John from Holland raise wants to make the best singular product and service experience possible. The guys Dave's wanted wanted to do a pretty good job and make a bunch of money and they did a great job. Yeah they're going to be in malls across America literally but the thing about how raise is is that it's like it's become you know it's the actual quality version of charcoal black ice cream with the black ice cream cone. People want to sign up and lineup and take pictures assures like Helen Raises. There is a line when you go all day day and night. It's it's kind of unprecedented and I understand why they're not opening another location. I think as long as it'll go like Diko Korea in which is my favorite place in La. They have a couple more locations but the little Tokyo location constantly. There's people out in front of Twenty people in his eventually going to open another location in Pasadena but they maybe like two three weeks ago. Partnered up with post malone for like a branded ghost malone like post howling ghost ghost pepper sandwich thing through the post mates postal own post meets. No no it was just a three tiered collaboration of how than raise post Malone and post mate's coming together as I'm sure a bunch of money the inception of chicken. Yes like post. It's to be a part of this team posted on there. We need a the Carl Malone the postman everybody The point is working in an offsite kitchen. Just trying to orders that you could get delivered on post meets and they literally broke. Post meets within five minutes. Post mates was dead. They were getting five hundred dollars a minute and they had to stop servicing people. Because is the APP wooden function. Crazy crazy crazy. That's that's up there. That's so cool. And this is all like a shaggy dog tale way way of saying like I encourage our listeners. Enjoy what you're hearing. Listen to Farley's previous episode which I believe was back in two thousand sixteen or even possibly twenty fifteen but the landscape has I mean. Helen raise wasn't even around for years. No one of the biggest restaurants in Los Angeles. So it's like I mean I'm extremely glad that we're talking fries and it led us. It veered off into the souls. This is a photo of the fries that they do. The Mario Style Fra so they coleslaw and pickles in red onions. And that comebacks awesome. That would that's enough to sell me so all of this to close this. This huge tangent is you're GONNA way to Newark from forty five minutes to a couple of hours on a weekend for this and it just happens to be. I think one of the Best French fried dishes you can get in Los Angeles the you've got to do some times and okay so that's the best version of crinkle cut fries using so you have another like yes. We suggestion or recommendation Chen. I would say if you want certainly an easier experience Top round on La Brea and these are all going to be obviously very Los Angeles specific. top run on La Brea. Just south the Wilshire is kind of modeled as a modern day. Arby's Sandwich and South GonNa say and they do really awesome curly fries. Not something you see that often. They're rare yeah which I truly truly love came. Oh there's another there's a top round in is it in San Gabriel Valley. There's another one. I think they've opened a couple of Austin they they wouldn't wanNA in San Francisco. There's a few is is the point. The point is this is Los Angeles. Look it up. We're not doing. Yeah exactly you want David this is something you talked about with La Belle that sort of like in bistro style French fry at wait wait wait wait hold on one second stevie thumbs down do this that has been Ashley Episode Gentler With.

Aw Bird mm Farley Dave right before this. I made you both ingest. My apple cake that I make. That's that's my grandmother's recipe. That's been passed down from my mom to me. Hooked up to a polygraph right now. We might have to change the name of our show. I make everything. Well no no. Yeah I haven't heard anything years true Baker so delicious delicious. That's all I need is a little. You wanted the crown. No no no. That's my point is just the top work. It's that little bit of like Glaspie Stat. It's not it's still soft cooked perfectly in the middle well good layering. This is great for myself esteem rate with a cup of coffee. So I'll send you guys home with some great if you WANNA. I don't WanNa keep forcing it on. I was definitely a force but I'm happier. It would make for better radio if you handed us like a pilot garbage. Next time I will like back in. It was burned the nasty flaming hot cheetos on a plate. And I'll be like good luck. Everyone I made something I should I next time I bake something bringing in because I've been experimenting lately. The most recent thing I made was in this is it's going to sound crazy and it's a little bit less crazy because I don't think any of the platelets over Harry right but I got it. Got It in my head that I wanted to make banana bread instead of chocolate chips. It was Oreo. Wow and I was like what if also there there was a bar in it. Wow So let me just say to. You made a candy packed. Banana bread. No I didn't pack doc it with anything. Because I pulverize scrape middle out of Orioles and record more souls and put it in a food processor and certain folded in and then sprinkled angled on top two and I got some bad news for people who like the. We don't know how to do anything. It was delicious. Did you do this. For an episode of Net flicks is. The chef's table sounds incredible. No I didn't but Eight valid a way too fast to have anybody photograph at the next season of Auburn. Everything thing is going to be David. I on reality. Food shows Actually around I love that. Thank you for being back. Yeah of course we are is your first guest to come back now. Know your second second. Probably your second guess to come back so I don't know if we're Katie. Stole came back as a CO host. That doesn't Count Katie. Stole doesn't count if you're listening Katie. Okay Allocate Look I love Katie. We haven't interviewed her twice. We've now officially interviewed. You twice. Interviewed him yet. He could storm questions. Russian's love my way when I walked in. Oh yeah tons. Everyone was okay so the reason we had you back is because we had the entire road with Ashley Hairston about French fries. Yes and you wrote to us that you love the episode and and you completely and totally disagree with the French fry ratings. I I'm paraphrasing. Because that's my favorite a man with a darker note. I thought that the episode was lovely. And I'm so pro. Anybody who wants to a French fry bar at their wedding. I think that's thinking outside the box that we can really use in the wedding industry. Keep costs low. Keep everybody happy but I will say that like God. God bless anybody. But who thinks that. Like Jay's bar has the best bar fries in the city like makes me sad I just go there so many better fries out there. I want Ashley or anyone else do have the sort of experience that I know is possible in Los Angeles. Here's a little inside baseball. Okay now I was with you on New Year's Eve and at a certain point so it was Ashley that's true. There was no confrontation. There could have been. Where were you? Were you just boiling. Well I had not listened to episode high. Oh yeah and I also wasn't out yet okay. Sorry mistake like most well so my first time meeting her. Oh I'm filleted on first meeting second time is wearing a confrontation. Okay that's good. That's a good. Yeah she probably would have cried if you actually did that. I'm glad that the timing of it worked out so perfectly to where the rebuttal could actually be here. Yeah let's make it public. You know she'll come back on. It'll be great perfect. I will say yes I do. You know as a as it. Just normal human and who doesn't have too much experience with restaurants and stuff like that I will say it is really. I read most of your articles because I don't really know what to eat or where to go and it will be so nice to actually hear what the good fries are because I know that they're good fries in La. I know there have to be but honestly lately haven't had any well. I'm here to help Tom. Let me I will lay. Some general ground was in. Your vein is to say that you read read the site. I think that the city is so massive like you are not wrong and not knowing where to go a lot of time and it's also really important to take a big step back and think about how this city really operates were. It's something I try to think about all the time. We're at a twenty two percent white city. You know statistically speaking any perspective that I have on Los Angeles is wrong so like the folks that I know who. Don't ever go to the Sankara Valli or feel like they want to go more or never go to the San Fernando Valley or folks who never go downtown or the Venice like you are all right and doing Los Angeles in your own way. You shouldn't feel bad guy. Yeah okay The second thing I will say is for the best version of a thing is in Los Angeles usually shorthand for. You're going to drive like fifteen minutes further than you want to which is like a deterrent for some people and I get that too especially if you're really hungry it really hit speak about this a little bit on her Brennan Smith episode as far as Driving is concerned where you know you're going to end up spending roughly the same amount of time driving to my example was the in and out in Hollywood and then waiting in that line in the middle of trafficker in like three PM versus versus. Oh maybe I'll go to boyle heights for maybe we'll go downtown or maybe. I'll go to Koreatown or something yes a one hundred percent and also why not have the best version I bet. Yeah once in a while. Too right like Ways Yeah sometimes my friends ask me for recommendations and I've given up on a certain type of friend and telling them what I actually think is the best of something and I dish usually give them like the good in their neighborhood and that totally works for them but other people I know really do WanNa try best version of a thing and for those people like awesome. Yeah I'm I'm willing to help them out as much as possible or at least as much as my experience extends you know yes. Have you guys been to Howland. Raise even know what word you're saying as I have never been there as I wanna hear you spell it for me. I'm having Colon H. W. L. A. N. posture fee raise our ally Apostrophe S.. Where's this well trying to town? Okay in a little plaza close to Gosh Bangel. Every where they have the Chinatown night celebration. It's the whole place is been taken over but there's a bunch of newer kind of not pop-ups but new you kind of of new kid on the block sexy young thing ask like Oh this is a buzzy new place. There's a couple of places like that in this Little Plaza and Helen raises as is one of them. And it's what kind of food extremely extremely spicy Louisiana style hot chicken or no Nashville logic. And I love everything. Yeah you're nailing it okay so I worked on the TV show In the writer's room. Oh boy at this point to the two thousand eighteen Komo studios and eighteen hours a job and you know you get food brought in and one day. It was a big special day and we sent our poor suffering but wonderful wonderful writers. Pa Who I heard that it promoted writer's assistant so congratulations since Jeremy but we still years away from getting paid what we say we we. My boss sent Jeremy to Helen raise which is an extremely popular spot to pick up all manner probably a couple hundred dollars worth of early one hundred fifty dollars worth of hot chicken sandwiches tenders. I believe maybe there was fries. A couple of sides They all come with a couple of pickle slices piece of standard whitebread leave. It's white bread country. You're absolutely right. There must be fries involved because why else would be talking about this. There definitely are fries and bought however I can't be helpful enough because I can't be too helpful because we did not receive the funds. But the the thing you get there is a hot chicken sandwich and there's different levels of heat and there's several videos that were posted to instagram. And they're still floating around my phone. I think of different members of the staff shivering under blankets. Because we were like they ingesting all this heat was like ruining our bodies what it's chicken in the real sense of hot. Burn your mouth off. Oh whoa five. Ten twenty alarm mobile level off the chart. Do you know about like hot chicken as a phenomenon at all nope okay. So this this version of its nose upset the cystic speaking. You're right you know what I mean. Nobody nobody has any expectation of what we should. But I'll tell you this. "Didn't know that i'm hearing this for the first time i was a huge farley fan how can you not be he was pure comedy so what was he like like when you met him what was he like he's more humble than you can imagine really yeah you know he would always be so deferential if you're talking to him look at you like yeah you know that thing he would do the chris farley show that's what chris is like a nervous energy and pleasing energy and really humble and always looking at you like hey a member we did that seem together i was fun right that's who he really was but you know as far as commitment and just a pure force of comedy nobody was better than farley it was you know when you're when you're coming up you start comparing not not not in a bad way but am i keeping up with the peers that i really want to be peers with people that are really good at my do i feel like i'm a mung their ability and so you know you're like okay yeah i'm doing the same level farley i took out of that mean a long time ago because okay that's an outlier he's way beyond the talent scope of what i'm capable of and most of these people are capable of a different realm wow so what was that did did anyone have any idea of what was happening at that moment i don't think so you couldn't really go oh my god all these people are going to make it because i would go to second city and see a lot of talented people and then they'd go out to hollywood and you never hear of them again real yes so there were people that there were people also in your classes that didn't succeed oh yeah 'cause i mean it seems like such a large group of successful people right i remember when i started i was with demetri martin who's a stand up comedian tritter very funny and i'm remember one night we were walking to the seller and he was saying something about david tell dry writing on on ray and that they knew each other before and we had this epiphany so if you just don't quit your friends famous and they'll help you out like i can do that like i can just not quit yeah but that's i mean that's an overwhelming class of talent yes it was crazy mckay i don't know if you know i know so many name i know out of mckay only only only through name but but he's one of those people that that always kind of fascinated me because he seemed like he seemed like the gasoline for the fire yes yes well and beyond i always say mckay's mind is so immense and whitehot that it has its own gravitational bowl i mean literally if you're in the room like you talk about a guy that's always the smartest guy in any room walks into that's mckay really he's just incredibly bright and you're like how did you get all of this information he could cute on anything he knows facts about everything like off i'm not that person that's fine i'll i'll make goofy faces i can do that holy shit that really is so what what point did you go do i like parties like overwhelmed because i think i can't imagine being friends with all those people right like do you still help close are your friendships with everyone well as you know you i assume that you tend to become an adult your friends with the people that go to school with your kids go to school i haven't done this large group of chicago guys that are my closest friends out here that are are not necessarily household names they're very talented but in varying degrees of success yeah yeah so that aren't so like all right let's take let's take the names we know will and steve live out here steve carell grow no they're very busy our kids don't go to the same school and that's just the way goes will live over in hollywood or up in the hills he's gone six months out of the year shoot movies yeah yeah so i'll see well let's see once twice a year something like that but you know everyone has this idea not not you but a lot of people out there have this idea that we're all just constantly hanging out together.

"Lives and farley learn how to buy low and sell high you know when you talk about manage risk that's that's one of the things just a couple of days ago out at one of my classes there is a student who was named thom who just showed up and he showed up and he was a little sceptical and he was he was not quite ready to to kinda take that step of managing his own money and he wanted to see what it was all about and that's kind of what he started off with when we met him he says yeah i just wanted to see what you guys we're all about we said this is the perfect place to do it that's exactly what this classes is all about one of the things that he realized in after the classy kinda came up in and talk to me said you know i i was looking at this and thinking originally when i was thinking about out this i wanted to come in check it out but i was worried it was going to be too risky for me says i'm very conservative and he slow older says i don't want to give up what i've made an and he said but one of the things i realised sitting in this class is i am in such a risky situation right now is is right now i am in the risky situation because out of the class we even start to break down how some of these retirement vehicles work and all of a sudden we also and it's very normal to see that and now when the current gets pulled back oh my monies wear and you get to see how it's all functioning and how it's all actually paying somebody else when you start actually taking control that's where you can control the risk and that's where you can manage the risk if somebody else has their hands all over it who knows how much of their of of our retirement account they're pulling out and that's the thing that had him so kind of an upset is barely even the the appropriate award for for how he was at the end the class at the end of the class he came up and said every penny i have is at risk in the markets right now and that's.
