Waukesha Christmas Parade Suspect Darrell Brooks' History of Crime

"Daryl Brooks killed 5 people and possibly many others we don't know. We pray that those people make it through. He was charged previously with recklessly endangering the safety of others. In a very recent case, he purposefully ran over a woman, with his vehicle at a gas station. In the case this month, the woman told police Brooks purposefully ran her over with his vehicle. And she was walking through a gas station after he had followed her there after a fight, according to a criminal complaint. The woman was hospitalized for her injuries, so he has a tendency to run people over with his car. Daryl Brooks junior does. And yet he was released on a $1000 bail and is now a mass murdering terrorist. I'm already gonna tell you this is gonna unfold. The media will ignore this. They will not cover this. They will move on to their next thing. Front page of CNN dot com suspect and parade may have been fleeing another scene. It says here on the front page of CN. 5 people are dead and more than 40 are injured after an SUV, plowed into a Wisconsin parade. Officials believe the suspect was escaping another incident. Oh, that makes a perfectly fun. No pictures, no information around the person who did this, of course not. The Milwaukee county district attorney's office issued two counts of second degree recklessly endangering safety and Fallon in possession of firearm in 2020. Cash bail was originally sent at $10,000 and then reduced to 7500. Unlike some other states Wisconsin requires a payment for the full amount of bail in any criminal case. In February 2021, the state was prepared to proceed with a scheduled jury trial, mister Brooks was still in custody on this matter, and previously made a demand for a speedy jury trial. Because another jury trial was still in progress for the same court, the defendant's demand for a speedy trial could not be met. The case was adjourned and bail was reduced to $500.

Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Beat Dallas Cowboys in Season Opener

"The nfl season opener. Last night brady threw four touchdown passes three hundred seventy nine yards and led the tampa. Bay buccaneers game winning drive to beat the dallas cowboys. Thirty one twenty nine last night in tampa bay jimmy fallon put last night's matchup in perspective. The buccaneers are trying to win their second straight super bowl and tom. Brady's eighth after that brady will have to make a bold choice whether or not to become a summering guy who's a big match of dallas. I'm tampa bay in texas versus florida fans from both teams. Were looking at each other. Like thank god. We don't live there. Cowboy's quarterback dak prescott was marvelous as well over four hundred yards in his return from a nasty ankle injury so showed no signs. He was fearless. He was great as the 2021. "We are back with one last question for emigre and claire fallon of the love to see it. Podcast and that question is what reality show. Would you wanna be on there. So many options is so difficult. But i think i would have to stay fixer. Upper i was gonna say. Hdtv into one hundred percent. Hgtv for may and fixer upper. Like me hang out with the gains. I'm so you wanna be with chip and joanna gaines. They ship left your kitchen. I yeah i need some ship lab slash. just what like just got farmhouse she was going to save reclaim. Some would and i always talk about. How incredibly bad we would be on a show like the bachelor in hollywood ruin our lives because we have just prior all the time and everyone hate us. So i definitely don't think i could handle a celebrity gear like a celebrity manufacturing type reality show so i think you know at best. I'm going to go. Great british bake off. You know. i think i'd be willing for the for the honor. The distinction of having made a really bad like apple. Love cake for paul hollywood. I'd be willing to embarrass myself for a single episode on matt. Wow oh these are. These are actually a single episode. What would you guys do answer. I i already mentioned it. But i would love to be on the amazing race. Just the sad part is you. Don't really get to appreciate those countries you travel to. But you do. Maybe get to spend a couple of hours when you're not shooting. You know eating a meal. Walking around. Or i hope you do but i feel like i have to confess something to everybody here. I did once auditioned for a reality show. No way which i did. I auditioned for colonial house. So i don't know if you remember with these history reality shows the respond tear hundreds house. I had the video sat in middle school. I love reality. Tv for so long. And i got a call back. And then i oh video were. I'm not sure if you know about the disaster of what happened on that show on colonial house but people got sick got taken to the hospital because there is no heat or hot water. You're in new england in the winter. You're slaughtering animals and they had either Well to do or servants. And i would have been cast as a servant was also sort of..

"We are back with emigre and claire fallon together they host the podcast love to see it with emma and claire and we are so excited that they are joining us today to talk about who is truly famous and all things celebrity At my i have been a pretty diehard reality. Tv fan since like. I feel like it started. You know back when i was in middle school and back then especially the popular. Perception was that to be in a reality show was sort of an easy way for fame. Hungry people to get their foot in the door for hollywood or it's at least easier than like showing up at a lot for an open call and like auditioning for a film. Do you think this is actually the case i mean i certainly think that the barrier to entry for reality television is not the same as like a marvel movie right. Trogir area is different. Ninety year and there are like simply More slots available in reality. Tv a world. I'd say it is certainly it certainly can be an expedited path to notoriety. But i don't think that like a low barrier to entry is the same thing as easy. There are still certain skills that are required to not just first of all get cast on a reality show right but also to then be entertaining on a reality show like there are people who get cast on reality. Tv go on and have zero entertainment value fade into the background. No one sees them knows they exist. This happens all the on the bachelor. You can get cash around the bachelor. Go home night one. No one knows your only. No one knows who you know you know you. Also a lot of these reality shows have to fit certain like physical archetypes and characteristics. Kind of frankly the same way that you do to get cast in hollywood film so i. I don't know that there is like such a clear distinction. And i also think that the perception has perhaps shifted over time because reality tv. I feel like you know in the early ought was there was like network and primetime television and then there was reality. Tv and it was this new sort of like trashy feeling medium now as we discussed before like there are so many more pathways available to be widely seen. You can start a youtube channel. You can just like make one viral video on Talk and end up with a million followers. You can become a fashion blogger and be photographed at fashion week and become known in that realm. And so i think that it sort of lessens. The stark divide that we used to see between like real tv and reality television because it sort of all a part of this bigger ecosystem of fame now alta ecosystem..

"Why do we care. They've done nothing to earn that attention. We feel some sort of scorn towards them and so i think there is a tendency to be like well. They're not even a real celebrity because they're simply famous Without that like set of hard skills but fundamentally as cleared alluded to like that is what a celebrity is and celebrity covers a really wide range of people and that is like fundamentally word exists because we needed something to name that para social relationship right. Yeah i think it's really fascinating to think about that. Because it's like sure judy shine. Lynn did actually have certain qualifications but they weren't qualifications for fame. They were being a family court judge and so the idea that we would say. Oh she's more of a celebrity. She's more legit in some way when we're not walking around wearing t-shirts usually with family court judges on them. But i think it's interesting too because she has a tv show right. It's again says more doubt about us the way we draw that distinction says more about us than it does about the celebrity talking about and i think it has something to do with what we're paying attention to also which is like. I wouldn't really think of judge judy as a celebrity. Why not because. I don't watch judge. Judy right and i don't care that much about her. She's not a celebrity to me in the same way that someone who is on the bachelor right now and was on for two episodes. Was you know than his less famous than judge judy. But they're more relevant to the way. I follow celebrity culture. And i think that there's like that's been so atomised. There's so many ways to be famous now. We don't have a monoculture anymore. And so you know you hear about oh. This celebrity is dating this other celebrity. You've never heard of either of them because one is like a youtuber and one dozen talk and you know that feels confusing people. You get uncomfortable with that. You're like they're not famous. I don't know who they are. While three million people follow them on social and their whole forums dedicated to them. I'm sorry there celebrity But it's so easy to be a celebrity now and have huge huge swath of the country in the world. Not know who you are at all. And i think that's relatively new in certain ways although it's also not completely new they're always been knee shas and i always think of like that old viral tweet. I think it was michael. Harriet the writer about being black famous Which she says is like the gap between helmet well-known. A famous person is Black people and how unknown they are two white people so like within a certain coach feral setting a certain community is someone can be very famous and in another not but we're seeing that in so many different dimensions now and it's hard for people to understand that they could not know who someone is and they can also be a celebrity right. I also think even if that isn't new we are like peripherally more aware of celebrities that we don't know about because there is so much celebrity media and so much of this happens on the internet and on social media so before social media maybe like yeah there would be an appearance of someone in us..

Who wrote self-help books that we live by this past season. Who do you think was the biggest celebrity. Oh my god that is so hard to say. Because they're all famous in their own way right. I mean i agree with you totally but also it turns out a lot of our listeners. Did not feel the same way. In fact many of them wrote in to say that at least half of our authors weren't celebrities at all according to them. I find that really interesting. I mean i suppose. Definitions of what constitutes fame have changed a lot over the years and the good news though is fortunately i know two people who spend a lot of time thinking about these definitions of celebrity and they've agreed to join us today to noodle over this whole topic with us. Well let's let's bring him into the studio. Because i'm jay leno greenberg and i'm kristen minder. I'm emigre of the love to see it podcasts. And i'm clarifying. "If the kademi i knew i wanted to be a pilot that was that was the reason to go. Be a naval officer and finally andy. Christopher earned his nickname tool when he ejected from the backseat of sloppy. Five is very first time ever in a navy aircraft. He would later fly under the call. Sign just cap grew up akron. Ohio northeast ohio. I had an uncle on. My dad's side is e six pilot so that was sort of the genesis of wanting to go aviation. Did the tiger news back. Backhoes know twelve thirteen years old and that was kind of. That's what what sparked the interest so there wasn't the academy it was gonna be rotc. Turn ohio state miami of ohio or one of those schools the but the the primary goal was was to fly. The summer cruise is I guess we basically immerse yourself in one particular area so the marines go do leather neck. I think if you wanna be Service worker officer. Swo- you go out on ship if you wanna go aviation. Get attached to sponsor. Different than protracted cortra- mid which is just get one week. It's a very canned experience. It's it's kind. it's a factory right. This is you kind of get integrate a little bit more. My buddy who was also senior at the academy into mccarthy. His brother was a pilot to thirteen. He's like hey my brother's going to help me get into squadron to go i e cruise summer training. Do you want to join the essence awesome. do that. so they were still in virginia. Beach aso was we. I think drove down virginia beach. We just kind of hanging out there for two weeks at some point or the base like. Hey we're going out to do air wing fallon. Here's the deal. You can come with us. No problem but like the air wing found is four weeks. Your time ends two weeks or three weeks in. You're going gonna have to figure out how to get along and nope nope a hundred percent you know. I think i bought a plane ticket reno to virginia. Beach was like yeah. This is awesome. Yeah you're going to send me to like a p. Three's car until you know. I'm all in. So while they were in in falun fee if eight to thirteen realize this and sent eighty over to Via c thirteen or mice quarter to basically just go fly sale and so we have course put him on the schedule right away and like we do with all of them got him as much fine just to get him as much finds possibly could because it was really enjoyable for the pilots. Bse thirteen to like. Explain these things kids and You know he trust me. This is where you wanna. This is what you wanna do with. Ev career who we you know we would probably go into the squadron..

"As well as we possibly can fits. Lee call sign briefed us on airings last episode. You may recall but stick. It has a little refresher for the civilians out there before he takes us through the three remaining phases students endure at fallon so the process of work ups is designed to get seven or eight individuals squadrons. Worked up in a way or trained in ready in a way that they can then worked together as an air wing. That culmination happens at air wing. Fallon where initially you have. Individual squadrons that will go through a readiness program as individuals squadrons and then all the squadrons will get together as air wing and they will go to air wing fallon where all of those squadrons working together in the air wing will get after large force exercises and the various emission sets that would be required of that air wing on deployment. Once an air wing gets to fallon. It's broken up roughly into three different phases the first phases of very basic phase that includes familiarization flights basic bombing sorties not builds the aircrews comfort and confidence in their understanding of the range. Space getting in and out of the airfield and then there'll be some basic flights that the squadron will be scheduled for and if we think of it in terms of a crawl walk run mindset. That's kind of the crawl phase of it. Although by the time you get to fallon it's it's a pretty quick crawl. The next phase is the intermediate training phase. And that's where squadrons are now going to be working together with other squadrons in the air wing f. eighteens flying with e two c hawkeyes. He to seahawk is flying with eighteen g growlers. So the squadron's are individually starting to now with understand the capabilities of the other squadrons. That are on there with them. And now we put all of that together we start the power projection of entire airway against whatever the mission set happens to be so it could be a sortie where you have a large force. That zoo gathered to take out to several different targets. Were a number of aircraft that are their mission sentenced to go out and deplete the enemies air forces and so in the it p phase the intermediate training phase. That's where squadrons off and start to work together on what we call large force exercises allergies and then the last phase fallon is the advanced training and that is similar in size and scope but gets far more complex mission. Sets are far more complex than number of aircraft that are opposing. The strike forces is more complex and so on gene thirteenth. We were a part of the it. P. phase but of course when squadrons deploy they won't be fighting other americans as mentioned earlier to train properly. Our side requires an opposing force to simulate any potential adversary. We may face and they're expected tactics. The navy uses a variety of aircraft to replicate the enemy for squadrons to practice against these forces have many titles aggressors up for red air. Normally we just call them adversaries. And that's the role. Sloppy was playing june thirteenth with a young midshipman in his backseat. So we do The primary mission says that we would have we would fly against topgun students as azzurri s forks air wing flight so large force exercises in that we do about era so feed replacements water. No rags report of those. I would say my favorite ones or probably the top gun missions or the ass clark missions is. Those were the most dynamic from an abstract perspective. We'd throw the the whole kitchen sink at these guys and try to try to make them fight their way out of it. When you were fighting is is very much just blocking and tackling simple type problems you know not a lotta maneuvers. Nothing too complex. Because they're just learning how to fly the plane The air wing. There's a lot of flying in the air wing slates to but generally speaking everything was very scripted. In terms of you know there's so many airplanes air we can't afford to have people running around going bananas trying to shoot everything down that they can because it's a safety issue on his top gun s. Four events generally speaking there were fewer airplanes. Could really just kinda cut loose and ratchet the intensity of like eleven. I often make the analogy of. It's like if you're a baseball player your hitter. I need to show you a fastball. I need to show you a curb. I need serious slider initially knuckle. I need in. You need to have enough reps on these so that you can react. You can see it in you. Know you're built your muscle. Memory to handle whatever's being thrown at you and to me. That's what we're doing in. The adversary world is why. I'm showing you the curb on. I'm showing you the fast one. I'm so in the slider and if we can do that effectively the more reps that you get as a blue fighter the better you're going to do in the bottom of the nights when somebody throws that curve ball and it's in real combat it's gonna rely muscle memory and so the better. We can train you the more realistic. We can train you. The better prepared. You're going to be in real combat. As i stated earlier the navy uses a variety of aircraft assimulate potential adversaries such as the f five tiger to the f sixteen fighting falcon. Okay they call it the viper and even other f. eighteens the very same aircraft. The good guys are flying. The f five though has been an adversary for a long time. And it's versatility and low cost operate makes it uniquely capable of simulating russian-built platforms namely the widely proliferated. Make twenty-one fish bed and mig twenty three flogger to me. i've been extremely fortunate to have been part of the evolution of the adversary jet aircraft and to have over four thousand hours of of topkin. Adversary playtime for sure makes me high guy. But what's even kind of more unique is in than that is is the a four super fox. The f sixteen in in the f. five in the f. eighteen so i've had the luxury of flying four different platforms in addition to the tomcat. But i never flew the tomcat in adversary platform but those other four jets as redder five has had a storied history. I mean it was one of the planes that started out forty fifty years ago and here we are still using it today. So it's like how can a platform last fifty years in in really be applicable to today's world in what's required of an adversary when we when we were using it fifty years ago. It doesn't make sense right. i just loved it. Clean was like the only way. I can describe it as on. It is a two thousand nineteen bmw when you're finding a five. It is a nineteen. Sixty five mustang. You know it's just very simple very direct. We always joke. It takes longer to strap in than it does to start up in taxi off. Literal you hop in the plane you Tell the gotta start. The external air bring the throttles outta a title. Hit the start button and she starts up. You could be out of the charleston probably three minutes after you quit control. Wipe out check the flaps in your role and no such a stark contrast. Because by the time i just got back from deployment know starting up on deck and everything. It was our the hornets house. Flying this.

"Scenes i was fortunate to be at miramar in the heyday and this was fighter town. Usa this is jim dematteo call sign. Guido he retired from the navy as a captain having locked over fifty five hundred hours in various tactical fighters during the course of his career. He's still flies. The f five tiger for a private company that has contract with the navy to develop upgrades for the airplane was were navy. Weapons school the bandits. This is where it all happened. All the tomcat squadrons were here. There was a feeling from the top gun world that it wasn't an echelon to command an echelon to command is an organization that reports directly to the chief of naval operations which is the highest ranking officer in the navy echelon to commands. Have these perks. Because their mission is so important. They don't want anyone in the middle mucking it up. It was fantastic training. Don't get me wrong. But from a heavyweight position it didn't have the weight the our counterparts in the air force. Fire weapons school. Had nellis fallon was kind of as base. That was kind of out in the middle of the desert and had a had a very good tax range associated within in some good bombing areas associated with it but as fighter guys we did all of our stuff down here and then the navy came up with this base realignment enclosure brac system. And they said you know we're going to move the fighters the tomcats kind of on. Its last leg. So we're gonna move. The fighter base is going to stay at la more in the f. eighteen world. And then we're gonna do this. Master jet base concept in fallon nevada. And so that's where it all kind of went to fallon because we're flying f. Eighteens it's time would be see thirteen so we flew up there. We gave a lot of those f. Eighteens away to at the time was top gun. You know just. Because i think we had f eighteen as and bs but there were there great in the fighter role unit for the bfm side of it and then we overtook the va. One twenty sevens f five and so that squadron was kind of a mix of Vnc thirteen guys from down here and some. Va one twenty-seven guys from up there. The transfer made fallon the place to be for advanced tactics whether on the top gun staff or in their parent command and sock the naval strike and air warfare centre or with the accompanying adversary squadron. The afc thirteen fighting saints for those who want to elevate their air combat skills to new heights. There's no other place like fallon nevada. Which is how. And why. I ended up there just three years later on the top gun staff myself. My wife and i enjoyed our time there. In fact we gave birth to our first son there. And it's why so many other of my peers and so many others tried to get station in foul. At least once in their careers. Waned up at the se. Thirteen is i had flown with the guys. Afc thirteen on a key. West was a student at if they want to six. This is tony roy. Call sign sloppy in his twenty years. In the navy he flew the f eighteen f sixteen and as a member of fallon's adversary squadron the afc thirteen fighting saints. Yeah five in fact he was in the cockpit of an five that fateful june day was really impressed by him. I thought it was really cool. Job and these guys would fight their butts off up and found then they go down q. s. every every month spent a couple of weeks key west when my and it seemed to me like the. Afc thirteen job was best job navy. It was twice as much fine half as much work. It was all the stuff that i love doing in the plane. You know all the dog fighting all the all the acm alda really fun stuff with none of the minutia. That i i. Frankly i kinda got bored with host fleet orders. My ceo at the time started negotiating orders for me without really even talking about what i wanted which i came back from. Tdy in finland. And i started hearing that. I was getting orders to vieques nine out in china. Lake vieques line. Oh since awful so like exactly the opposite of my personality. Moral tested valuation stuff and So we had a couple of quick heart tarps. And i managed to convince him. The perfect place for me was via c thirteen foul kept in contact with those guys and Made a few quick phone calls and they wanted me. And i wanted to be out there. Really ecstatic even see as ceo to call back to the playoffs through. So when i got there it was right before christmas. Two thousand six and just immediately. I knew i was in the right place a showed up. Okay yeah we want to go for backseat right. I i hadn't even been in this water and for twenty four hours. I got a back seat. You ride and they're talking about how we can do your. Let's just plan on you taking some time before. Christmas and his very laid back very cool. When a squadron begins preparing to deploy into harm's way it's not unlike a sports team in spring training. Pairing for the season. Only in the eighty. We call it were cups and instead of batting drills on the field were digging it out in the skies the nevada desert when an squadron gets ready to go to fallon they have been spending weeks if not months in preparation beforehand flying many sorties that get all of the aircraft in the aviators groomed to perform at a pretty high level at fallon meet captain. Brian emmy call sign. Stick it. he's been in the navy since nineteen ninety eight and is currently a staff officer at third fleet headquarters in san diego. He was also in the air. on june thirteenth. Whole squadron packs up everything all there folks all their jets you get into a debt mindset while you're out there. You're focused on flying eating sleeping debriefing and then rinse repeat and for four six weeks. You're going to get after it in the aircraft as much as you can. You're gonna learn a ton you're gonna head over to the o. Club afterwards and you're going to talk about it and you're gonna laugh about it and you're joke about it and you're going to enjoy all the things that all of us signed up for in that then that's to to learn how.

How Pete Davidson Tricked Alec Baldwin Into Losing 100 Pounds

"Jimmy Fallon, and they were talking about Alec Baldwin, who did his whole trip. As you know, President Trump when he was on for a while, and he was on every week and all that. And so they were talking about how Alec Baldwin had lost a lot of weight recently and Pete Davidson took credit for and said it was all because of a lie that I told them on set and Alec was hosting. And it was a sketch where I had to be shirtless and like I'm a little bit cut or whatever. So he came up to me. And he was like, what do you do? And I don't want to be rude and say like I'm not in my mid 15. I just wake up like that. So to make him feel better. I was like, Oh, man, I do 100 push ups. 100 set ups every day. And he was like got it on. Then I would see him every week and we would write the law would be like 100 a day. And he started to do it and he lost like £100. Yeah, he looks fantastic. He's and it says it's all things like to begin with. 100 Day got it. TV lined up for tonight. There's a new shows on kung

"Remember despu that hot new photo social app that we were keeping our eye on as a potential next big thing despu basically made you wait until the morning before your photos developed in quotes was co founded by famous youtuber. David dark well. One of dispose. Major backers spark capital has suddenly announced. It is quote severing all ties with despu after claims of sexual assault against a member of dough bricks. Vlog squad arose last week. I suppose i need to back up and explain a bit david. Dobby has been called the jimmy fallon of gen z for his popular youtube videos which apparently focus on comedy and pranks and stunts and the like tens millions of subscribers. Nobody is one of those youtubers. That has one of those multimillion dollar mansions that is extensively the scene of a lot of his videos. He also has this sort of entourage of people known as the wlac squad who also star in his videos. It is a member of the long squad that is accused of the sexual assault though there have been some other questionable incidents lately that dober- himself has recently apologized for in video anyway without getting too in the weeds overall that last week mr dobric was losing sponsors left and right hellofresh dollar shave club. Ea sports seatgeek all severed ties. The very first link in the show notes can give you a rundown of all of that. Now normally i do tend to steer clear of these sorts of youtube star and influence or controversies but there is real sort of industry news here. Because i can't really recall seeing this happened before quoting techcrunch. In light of the recent news about the wlac squat and david dobric the co founder of despu. We have made the decision. To sever all ties with the company spark capital tweeted. We have stepped down from our position on the board and we are in the process of making arrangements to ensure we do not profit from our recent investment in despu and quote spark capital's decision to step back from the despu investment. Feels like a first of its kind. And if not rare it could trigger other investors with stakes in the company to do the same spark capital led a series a. in despu a twenty million dollar financing event that valued the company at two hundred million dollars less than a month ago. The current statement by spark does not indicate that the investment has been pulled from the company yet spark capital did not immediately respond to requests for comment in regards to what this process would look like and if the shares will be sold back to the company or to another buyer

"I just have a little fun game view to play today with lexi and it's not a particular skill is something that you can do you. Maybe even if you if you're a fan of jimmy fallon because he plays this game called hey robot and he uses an echo device for this game and here's how it works. He comes up with words. And then you have to say things to lexi to get her to say that word. Of course without saying the word yourself ed so you could play this in in teams. You can play this game with opponents. Basically one team can come up with the word and they have to get another team has to get lexi to say. It's a lot of fun so if you search for some Videos you'll find some youtube videos of jimmy fallon playing this game hayride with the number of celebrities. It's pretty cool. Explaining the Income Cap for Stimulus Checks in New COVID-19 Relief Bill

"Because of this pandemic, we got this message from Ma on Facebook, who says, I read that by changing the eligibility requirement and the cut offs for stimulus checks. 17 million families will lose access to these payments. Is this true? If so, how did Democrats justify it? When many campaigned on vote for us and you get $2000? Take Leah explain a little bit more about about the cut offs here and who loses access to these payments as a result. Yeah, it is true, But there's a lot of Democrats who didn't who didn't want that income cap to be reduced, But this was one of the compromises. It had to be made to get some of these moderate Democrats on board to ensure passage of this bill, especially in the Senate. So how it was originally proposed, is if you made $199,000 well, let me just start back with the first bill where the first direct stimulus checks If you made $199,000 or less. If you were a couple, you would receive a few $100 in a direct stimulus check because it would start to phase down after $150,000 for a couple Um, in the House version of this latest bill that passed they faced the phase out was actually more quick done more quickly than it was in the first covert bill. So if you made $200,000 you would get $0.199,000 $0. Now with the senator's did is they phase that out? Much quicker, Andy, if you make $160,000 for a couple $80,000 as an individual $112,000 if you are a head of household That is when the cap cuts off. So these higher income people will not receive a stimulus check if you did last time. So if you make $161,000 as a couple Excuse me, 100. Yes, $161,000 is a couple You will not get your stimulus check, even though last time you did get a stimulus check, And that was just the compromise that had to be made to make sure that all 50 Senate Democrats were on board and would pass this legislation. I want to circle back to something. We got this tweet from Jennifer, who says, been discussing the stimulus payments? No one ever mentions that could offer those filing head of household. This Fallon is what a lot of single parents use, including myself, LeeAnn to say one more time. What that cut off is for people filing head of household. That cut off his 112,000. And I believe $500 s O that is head of household. So remember these stimulus checks also include dependence is well, it's $1400. Not only for the parents or how to head of household or the single adult but also for chill dependence, Children as well. But it is $112,000 for head of

"Matt. Thanks for joining us. It's a pleasure nice to meet you. Danny i'm glad to be here. We're going to talk about fos flatten. Its lead therapy. Which has multiple mechanisms of action and how it works to enlist the immune system to kill cancer cells. Let's start with your lead therapeutic. Pt on twelve. Which is a first class. Harrow phosphate platinum conjugate. Break that down in simple terms. What is it thank you. That's a good question. I think maybe i'll just briefly tell you a little bit about the company and how we got to where we are with this molecule. Pt one to foss platin- therapeutics was founded by myself. And our ceo robert fallon my fellow co founder in two thousand ten and we really built the the company around this family of compounds that we in license at the discovery. Stage which comprise these Family of these first in class pi-rre phosphate platinum conjugates and based in new york. Although these days that that means something different than it used to We have a nice Small office here in midtown with our management team. Of course now are all working remotely and we worked our way through preclinical and early clinical development by running collaborations around the world. We've actually had worked ongoing in fifteen countries Since we started and These are academe amick. A- collaborations contract research organizations clinical sites but also industry collaborators We we have a an existing collaboration with pfizer and their co-development partner. Md serono or merck darmstadt on one of the combination programs that were running and we're still private company in early phase two development with pt. One too so to your question about pt to is a small molecule and actually to our knowledge. It's the first anti cancer agent containing a pirate phosphate and This has implications on its safety. Its pharmacokinetics to mechanism of action. And even on its. It's targeting where it's delivery within the body and i'm sure we can get into that further as we go. I generally think of conjugated therapies is linking targeting mechanism to a- warhead. I take it the way. Pt one to works is a bit different. What exactly conjugated in pt. One two and what to each those components do it's a great question i think we. We certainly are not an antibody drug conjugate. I don't want to give that impression. I think we're thinking of conjugation. As a medicinal chemistry term that goes back to certainly before the advent of of adc's in cancer care Our inventor of the late refunder bose was actually the first researcher able to successfully link or conjugate a pyro phosphate to platinum core molecule. And of course Platinum molecules with platinum in their core have been a mainstay of of cancer. Care for some time now. He was really seeking through his work in medicinal chemistry To find a new paradigm for a platinum containing agents he did so by congregating power phosphate. And what that does is because the para phosphate is so strongly linked. It remains intact for the most part in the body theory differently from cytotoxic agents and certainly from other platinum containing agents Pyro phosphate also benign in the body Native to healthy cells so you'll the respiration so we're not adding something that's in and of itself toxic

"Shaly. Woodley has confirmed her engagement to aaron rodgers. Let's just say she's not exactly the man of her dreams. It's kind of funny. Here's what she told. Jimmy fallon yes. We are engaged. That was a very first interview about the engagement. I i will take some balls thrown up. I'll take all that catching the balls. All those all probably thinks it's that she doesn't know much about football that she's not really into sports. Maybe he's sick of being gushed about all the time i don't know but it's kind of funny. How she like. She says she's never seen the game. She's never watched him. She's everyone watched football. She knows everybody keeps telling her apparently to watch youtube highlights how great he is and she's just like nah part of his life right. Sometimes it's better. I was dating a rapper at one time. Which is name but he was pretty big rapper. But i wasn't interested. Because i wasn't i didn't understand. I didn't know his music. I didn't understand. And i didn't even know you know what level he was at and all my friends were like you. Gotta listen listen to the music but you you have to get into your partners thing just to be able to experience first of all. Y'all i love that you guys are like. Oh she's engages is fine. she's a football player. The only thing i could have seen in the interview is how upset she lean was that he did say that they were engaged. Like show was trying to keep it on the hush for mill. Because she was a we're engaged like he honestly and we always talk about it. The tables turn how men try to hide being in a relationship with women. But i feel like prochet. She is like one of those private celebrities. Who doesn't want to be in the spotlight. And who doesn't want. Yes because the danika or he hasn't been you know away from his other girlfriend. That rodney timelines timelines at the time. So as far as we understand they confirmed danika and erin confirmed their break-up in july twenty twenty seven months ago but she leans like we've been engaged for a while so she says so. Mike did they engage after a month. The data thought t's though oh don't do that about shayla little question of putting the way she leads says it as far as like. I don't know why it's such a big deal with engaged for so long and almost seems like they've been together for year exactly exactly. My problem is and i'm sorry she leaned. I really wanna be down for this engagement. There's something about him and he only dates famous women. That scares me a little bit.

"Start today I want to tell you about. A company called Apogee which makes microphones and other audio gear, and how the Cova crisis nearly did him in but boy. They're doing great now. It is more orders for microphones than it can handle. I'm Jefferson Graham. You're listening to talking tech. Apogee was founded in one, thousand, nine, hundred, five by Betty Bennett and two friends initially to offer audio patches to improve sound Ben. It is the husband of legendary sound engineer Bob Clear Mountain who did the mixing for Bruce Springsteen's born in the USA album and the Rolling Stones Tattoo, you but apogee was Bennett's who now runs the company solely one of the few women owned businesses in a very male dominated. Dominated Industry. The company quickly got a reputation for its high performance audio, which is on display at apple stores and used by many top musicians. So when the pandemic hit apogee was told to close its business down temporarily and Bennett was forced to send her employees home. Things looked really bad then she got a call from Saturday night live. The cast was going to put on a TV show from home and dated and microphones. Everyone could figure out how to use so she sent the hype. Mike Three hundred and fifty dollars is way more expensive than the fifty or one hundred dollar marks that you've heard me talk about here, but the sound is so much better. The company tells me. Plus it can connect to the USB port on a computer or directly into smartphones and tablets, and you don't need to be an engineer to figure out how to use it. So the SNL show went well then the tonight show called Jimmy. Fallon needed a mike for his home show, so apogee sent him a height Mike to then apogee started getting orders from all over the musicians who needed a way to dramatically improve. There's Zoom Lens sessions because as you know, musicians or not performing in concert. They're just doing live shows online. Bennett went back in started. "Your mind on the iheartradio APP apple podcasts. Or wherever you get your podcasts. Well Jimmy Fallon has apologized for a black faith. He did twenty years ago and Saturday night. Live the video is now resurfaced for some reason in the sketch. Jimmy comes out in black face dressed as Chris. Rock to join Regis Philbin played by. Darrell Hammond to do jokes yesterday. Jimmy Fallon apologized by posting a statement on social media. He says in two thousand while on. Snl I made a terrible decision to do an impersonation Chris rock while in black face. There's no excuse for this. I am very sorry for making this unquestionably offensive decision. And thank you all for holding me. Accountable guys what do you think? I mean three comedians professional comedians. Right here I like Jimmy Fallon and I look at it like. Is Chris Rock offended? Is Chris Rock upset about it and if he apologized so many years ago for something that he did twenty years ago? Why why is this resurfacing? Why is this back? We still talk enough. He apologize when he did it. And he's Eddie. Murphy played a white man on Saturday. Night live. Nobody went on the bus on the bus with that and I thought he did a good Chris. Rob It wasn't. The problem was jokes. When Damn funny he did look like Chris added he. He had near the mannerist death. Adam down and that's what you do this time he was you know. Make A and you got to look at it. Did Jimmy Right this? Is he just an actor playing the role? Did this come from right. Isn't produce ecoed suggestion. Because he does do Chris Rock so I mean it doesn't let you say don't matter. Man is Jimmy Fallon. We know who Jimmy is. I haven't seen anything. I haven't seen anything races. Jimmy no baby court martial hearing every back on what people have done twenty years ago. This is insensitive. I'm not excusing it. But but it was twenty years but call it caller. I can say this. We just three COMEDIANS. That that's on the panel today. We've done some things twenty years ago. Those that does jokes. We wouldn't dare do because I know you're not doing it. Yeah I was just going to say it's a whole connotation and what the black face you know as far as African Americans. That's where it goes you know that. Yes sure that that's what it is. And it's just one of those taboo things like we say the N. Word but other races can't say the N. Word Right. Yeah surely if you look at if you look at Eddie Murphy Delirious. "A million dollars and then they did the job exotic and then they had to ask Jimmy Fallon and asked the Fallon yes he's just we couldn't his variety show when he's on stage was too much for us we couldn't stand games the games the Vic everything was so contrived and it didn't feel real so what you're experiencing when he's at home is you are experiencing him yes without all the bells and whistles just being Ryan just beats with the most fun it's the most fun I've ever I mean it really is the most fun talk show I mean Jimmy Kimmel continues to have a good great monologue yeah cold beer I cures to serious right now it depends on him yeah the gas name great gas he added users soundtrack assets Myers I watchers closer look and then if he has somebody yeah yeah yeah so and you know and Ellen is just like I think her at a home show is so badly exactly good producer it doesn't feel real if maybe she's not in a good place right now and sometimes when you're not in a good place for for whatever reason you can't thank god good I think the real Allen at home that's where you're seeing so many horrible stories about her yeah it's really a little troublesome but I'm Jimmy Fallon is it's just hold some good fun is what Fallon is bringing and his wife is a big part of it because she is black producer and so they come up with this fast the Fallon little thing and you know they talk about stories and if they're just walking to their neighborhood and they've got their filming themselves that's cute it's just really dig in their kids are cute they're not really on it easily I do love all that the kind of kitschy stuff where the kids are making the signs and you know doing that I think that's sweet it was and like you are doing what they can't you know Ryan Reynolds is just a superstar of being great giving us great couch I don't know he was last night yeah he's he's so funny his election yeah yeah it's really good it's really good now Jerry same thought was on the Jimmy Kimmel last night in his Netflix special came out yesterday Carl twenty three hours to kill and one of the headlines yesterday was that his wife Jessica Johnson is getting sick of them at home and basically that's like Kate Hudson said she can't stand to hear anyone in our family choose just so sick of every adult ADD was because we dont even to an apple every day at one o'clock it's so quiet in here because no one's here anymore in the car yeah it's apple time but she said with him being home is that he finds out he else he yells when he attacks the man cannot talk in a normal voice he cannot perform on a stage or this what is what you're saying he yells yells out all day long he's sixty six I thought that was kind of interesting I didn't realize he was that old I mean not that old but that age and then he goes on to say it's very true but you know when I'm with my friends out touring around other comedians we all yeah yeah they're loud comedian DL because you get the habit of doing that to get the audience's attention but having to yell now in my home it's an emotional release why don't we have Mars you know we just celebrate that is once the deal is the deal what's the deal so I I think that I've always thought he's funny he's hysterical he and I guess he shows up in the last dance yes he does and that was part of the thing that they showed like he said meeting these big meeting Michael Jordan meet beating these big stars very athletes is very intimate because a there's so much bigger than you know and then they were talking about he struck the first patch and it was cured I think I would be here I think that would be like and that would be nerve wracking to throw the because I why couldn't make it over the first base and no one's gonna ask me so I don't have to worry about number one I was in the home and derby that they do before the twins game yes it was reversed yes ask your yeah I'd swing the bat but no one's really there all this happened before the stand but the patch people are watching yes they are I would be very nervous.

"People then Tuesday he it is in the Jimmy Fallon had for why did not imagine okay no more no more I can't I'm gonna be sick stop it I'm not going to be sick from the flu flu I'm gonna be sick from the imagine video the lack of self awareness is mind boggling even by Hollywood standards we have a global pandemic right now because a communist government hid information about a virus and covered it all up and Hollywood's first thought is I know the way we can help is by singing a hymn to communism okay so perfectly backwards it's just so perfectly wrong that's the first part they are singing odes to a political system that gave us this virus that is a hundred percent to blame the other aspect of it here there is how do you think of themselves and their role in our lives is the we poor peasants we serfs who just grunt and sweat all day tilling the soil that's all we do and maybe we get to eat a little bit of gruel at night the only bright spot that we could imagine in our lives is to have these schmucks singing a bad song off key I believe Abbas thank you finally look it guess what guys were all quarantined okay we're watching all of your movies now in fact we're sick of your movies we wish we could do something else the last thing we need is more of you okay we've got we got the Netflix we've got our Hulu going for streaming everything we do not need more of you what we really want to do is go back to work and start making some money again unbelievable of course they don't put two and two together that they don't realize huh the communist government gave us this virus maybe we shouldn't sing about how great communism is and the reason is they don't they don't blame China for this they don't I mean they're bite you're basically buying the Chinese propaganda at this point it wasn't China's fault we know it was China's fault China knew about this virus as early as November seventeenth they covered it up for a month and a half they punish people who blew the whistle on they would not allow this to come out shine is a hundred percent to blame guess what if there is a new study out from the university of Southampton if China had acted one week earlier they could reduce the spread by sixty six percent if they reacted two weeks earlier they could reduce the spread by eighty six percent they reacted just three weeks earlier they could have reduced the spread of this virus by ninety five percent they wouldn't have plunged the global economy into chaos they would have not been responsible for the many many lives will be lost as a result of this China is to blame here the response to that is not to sing odes about how wonderful their system of government is the response to that is to make them pay and somebody's going to have to pay we're now looking at a major major bailout packages stimulus package in the United States and stimulus measures elsewhere in the world China's going to have to pay for that seven million days ABC news at four thirty I have a trap Illinois is going the way of California and New York governor.

"I plead guilty to being fabulous. The only thing i'll settle for is more people call me over the top but lately i prefer being a bottom gave fat now i. I need a match when life gives me limes. I make margaritas if you got a problem with me. It's your guys welcome to. Let's talk tv. I'm your host cares dylan and today. I have my friend fallon with me. I and my husband kyle and we have so much to talk about and i'm so excited to be back after a really long hiatus we had some. I was doing a podcast with my husband kyle but we're not doing that one anymore. So now we have time to actually do a podcast about these crazy women. I'm in a real outside so let's from wrestling to real housewives so it's the same thing yeah same thing same difference remember when used to say that when you're a kid ed same different same difference use that term saving little phrase same. I feel like that's like an older term. I don't think he is. I don't think kids don't they. Kids say that whenever i was a kid that's what i'm saying whenever i was a kid kids used to say same difference. How old are you know. I'm almost as old as as <hes> luanne dallas set. That's balance hero. I'm losing it okay. So what have you been up to valid. Oh a whole lot of nothing just just working summer schools my last week and ganic seek. I'm free for the summer until august awesome. So what are you going to do in your free time just a lot of cleaning organizing my house <hes> because my boyfriend just moved in so that's been a whirlwind of things and it's super messy and so i need to get organized drive me crazy yeah yeah totally. We need to do the same thing for our house. Disaster this it is that's why i'm glad we're we're recording. According today at a co working space here in waco texas called waco work and if you're ever in the area you should totally come. Check it out. It's really cool. They have have free beer and coffee and sometimes they have free days that you can work here so i think you can buy a day pass for ten dollars to work here if if you ever wanted just just stop in and use their super fast wifi. It's literally the fastest. Why find waco fiber yeah hustle said they had fiber but they don't so uh-huh muscled. You told me i know badmouthing hustle but <hes> the internet is not as fast as waco work. I will say so anyways we have so much to talk about today and i gave fallon the gift of watching being three episodes of the real housewives to of new york and one of beverly hills and it's been very interesting today a your thoughts so the episodes we watch for the last two of new york where they were in miami and which is very confusing thing for me because i thought this was a new york they went on vacation to miami so <hes> and then at the end of the last episode they actually came home and they were undoing stuff in new york right anyways so rip bambi yes or so i want to get fallon hot takes because i felt like she has a lot. The i wanna just kind of thinking just going down through the characters actors of the show while you can call them are real people but i feel like they play it. Play it up percents unless you hope it's not yeah they go by first name. It's character so new york is really a lot to handle if you've never watched it before and i remember not i started watching real housewives of new york like i was just like these women are awful. I hate them. I hate took like five or six seasons to be like okay eleven five or six. That's like it took a while for me to be like okay. I really loved these people now but it real new york. They have to grow on. You and i feel like beverly hills. It's like automatically. You're like at least you like a couple of them. They're kind of like immoral center. Turn of the show but new york has no moral center of the show at least until darren comes on which i feel is can be a moral center of of new york but <hes> she's crazy crazy. Though yeah i am very cures the here balance like thoughts on edge person so we're gonna go through. We're going to start with with someone that she didn't really mention today. Which is sonja morgan okay. <hes> sonja morgan was married agreed to a morgan like j. p. morgan chase so she that's why she's on this show because she's from money but she is now divorced from him mm-hmm <hes> she has a daughter with that guy and she she's been divorced for years though like over ten years before she even started so hosea she a housewife new york. None of them are married. Okay yeah they've been married but none of them are currently married so the real ex house. Yes yes yes so. Some of them did start out as wives like lou ann was married and got divorced. Bethany was married kind of in the middle and then now she's divorced. Ramona was married. He cheated on her. She's divorced so which got brought up a little bit in this episode about his name's mario member louis asked her about like doc <hes> so anyways. I'm curious about your thoughts of sonia because episode before this which i was like if i just keep making her watch more more episodes she's going to be like. I hate this show so much but the episode before this gets really really drunk. I don't know if you saw the previews when she stepped on the table. Whoa eighties eighties. She fell off the table. As she fell off the table. He was sitting in her chair and she just fell down onto the floor art and hit her head well. This is what happens when you drink. I don't understand why this is confusing. We've been out to the bar. We know what happened the what was your thoughts on like sonia going to a._a. With new in and how she was like i don't really wanna go. I like everything anything about beginning because she's very humble. She was just like even those those bitches relate. Can i say this is explicit. They were saying you're you're a little out of control and you know fuck like everybody's out of control but she's so humble she was like sure. I'll just everything once yeah and everybody be quiet. Why it hatches want everybody to be quiet and just get off her back. I mean it's hard to be gained ganged up upon especially like when you're a silly drunk and she acts like clearly just a silly drunk. They're like oh. You just stepped on the table. They attention on the lake. She's drunk yeah. That's what people do when they're drunk. I don't dan. I think that that happened the night after she got so drunk and bethany had to call the ambulance and so that's why bethany did. I don't really have obstacle came and checked her out to make sure she didn't have a concussion. 'cause like we are to <hes> so you didn't see this episode but on that one that's the one worst i it looks like she hits her head like on the corner of a table and she'll they asked her like who's the president clinton well i mean. Does anyone know the president uh-huh hail trump thang kidding podcast joke. Okay okay so sonya. I i like sonya. I think when she went like she's very sensitive clearly <hes> she's. She's a rich person. She doesn't wanna be hearing about these people industry like she like she already knows she has everything and then here's these terrible stories even if she it becomes a criminal or even gets severely injured. She has enough money to revive her so it. They're kind of over-reacting in my opinion. She's red-letter drink. Whatever shown sadier yeah so the the history of her is. I mean always getting sonia used to get drunk a lot more than then <hes> she does now now but <hes> that episode where she fell was probably the drunk she had been in a while. I love drunk song yeah. She's pre trial loves drunk but i hated that they were like. I hated that they made her pretty much. Go to that meeting that she said numerous times. I don't want to go and i don't want to support liu and she said that plenty of times times and they were like but i think maybe you should just go and make an or put on the t shirts use fine miami yeah and louisiana that address. I'm like fuck this yes so when you go to the beach and she just started going crazy and she was like what is it it is yes. She was going nuts freaking and they were god what's wrong. What's wrong and lou n. An at luanshya so tone deaf to everything she just like. Let's just go on the beach so you wanna go for a swim and bethany he's like no listen to what she's she sang and she's still never listened to what i know. Luliang just wants to lake get out her little baby state like a little baby and she's just like get over income swim. We're at miami like they haven't even been on the beach. Apparently that's what she sat on episode. Yeah and they're at the beach. Come on louisiana's totally right right right down..
