Speaker Newt Gingrich Pinpoints the Watershed Moment in Glenn Youngkin's Campaign

"Speaking English as a resident of Virginia, I am, of course, buoyed. I am very excited by the recent victory of Glenn young of his lieutenant governor of his attorney general. What is, can we read a broader significance into this for next year and for 2024 or is it rather sui generous as a resident of the Commonwealth, I look at what happened here. And I see a businessman not unlike president Trump with no political background. He brought a business like attitude to the campaign, talked about getting Virginia back to work. But in the last few weeks, because of those mothers you mentioned at the school boards, he very adroitly pivoted to this culture war issue of fighting critical race theory and vowed to ban it on his first day in office. Is that a model or should Virginia be dealt with this as something unique? No, I think I watched lens campaign closely and talked frequently with his campaign manager. And I believe that the turning point of the campaign actually was when he went to a loudon county rally of a thousand people who were upset about the schools, and then in the debate when former governor Terry mcauliffe said that there was no place for parents in schools, and that was electrifying and as you pointed out Glen is a businessman and built a good campaign team and they actually had something up on the air. By the next morning. And just throw home for everybody in Virginia, the term of thought that there was no place for parents and schools. And that, I think became the signal moment that began to change everything. No, young can also did a very adroit job of having Trump's help in rural and southern Virginia where he's extraordinarily popular without having Trump campaign in Arlington and fairfax county where he's unpopular. And so junkin was able to pick up all the support in the suburban counties from people who were upset about the schools while picking up all the support in rural and small town Virginia from everybody who was pro

Why Virginia's Election Has Huge National Implications

"Joe Biden's numbers are upside down, and it is heavily impacting the now battleground state of Virginia. Tomorrow voters head to the polls. Well, I think they vote early in Virginia. I don't know how they do, but I still think they have in person voting in Virginia more than other states. According to RealClearPolitics dot com, Joe Biden's favorable rating is 44 unfavorable rating is 50 6 points in the deficit 6 points. 50% of the country as an unfavorable view of Joe Biden and the latest polls out of Virginia everybody, which can be a bellwether state in ways that are very significant. Virginia governor, according to the Trafalgar group, young Ken up two points, Fox 5 D.C. insider, which I trust local polls a lot with this up two points. Term mcauliffe is going on a press campaign, play cut it. They're talking about this critical race theory. And as I said before, and I'll say it again, it's never been taught in Virginia. And I really hate it because it's a racist dog whistle obtained from the loudoun county school board and invoice from that firm, the equity showing a charge for coaching and meetings focused on CRT. And excerpt of an email from former school superintendent states that while loudon county has not officially adopted CRT, some of its teachings align with the CRT ideology. That's pretty straightforward. Now, the polls are all over the place. So I don't want to say that it's guaranteed that junk and is going to win. The recent polls show him up, but there is a pall over the weekend by Roanoke college at mcauliffe one. There is another one from Washington Post that in the cauliflower up one, and you better believe that fairfax county and in loudon county, they're gonna pull out every type of shenanigans and tomfoolery and shadiness that they can concoct everybody. That is a real thing and it's going they are going to pull it all out. But I just want to make sure that everyone understands the significance of what is happening in Virginia right now is that you have a candidate that was not polling well. You've a candidate that in the Virginia race was down significantly. If you look to the RealClearPolitics average polls in Virginia. Mcauliffe was down in the average. I mean, I'm sorry, junkin was down 6 points. 6 points at the beginning of September. He was down in the average by 6 points. Now the average has him up two

"So just kind of go back to what the school board conversation is about those books and being appropriate in a high school as the one council member said is that acceptable speech for those high schools as well for students to kind of walk around and talk about their different encounters with other people in front of teachers and kind of say those words were made that are coming from that book because I remember back in my high school days or even my children now that would lead to suspensions or detentions or definitely maybe in the office with them So you know I think you bring up a good point Eric that what was once considered taboo is now the talk of the town Now I mentioned earlier that I went to North African high school and I remember some years ago that one of the teachers there became mister so and so it became misses so and so and it was a huge deal It was like wow this was probably going back ten years But you're right Times are a change in And I get that and I'm not necessarily you know I'm not thrilled about it I mean part of what I do in life is a traditionalist as a conservative is to try and hold on to yesteryear and the values and traditions that were alive and well when I was coming up But you're right when you were in school 20 years ago this just wasn't the

"Here, the Virginia governor's race is quickly tightening. These polls can be all over the place, but we've been keeping our eye in the Virginia governor's race, and we just did a massive event in Virginia. What is the RealClearPolitics average? Now show. That's always very interesting to look at. But the number one issue the number one issue as to why all of a sudden, the Virginia governor's race has been flipped upside down is schools. New polling shows that parents of K through 12 children. That means suburban women, and fathers, in Virginia, 56% of them want a Republican governor I can't imagine that this is not a recipe for victory for the Republican. Virginia has become a blue state Virginia has become a place that Republicans used to dominate and because of the growth of the kingdom of Washington D.C. in Northern Virginia in loudoun county and fairfax county in particular, these races have just been so frustrating and seemingly untouchable. Former Virginia Gov. Douglas Wilder Slams Terry McAuliffe for Marginalizing Black Candidates

"Two years ago, Terry McAuliffe remember he's the bagman for the Clintons turned, McAuliffe called for all three persons occupying the offices of governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general to resign. All three Democrats. Governor Northam had been shown pictured in his school's yearbook in blackface and subsequent revelations by age Mark Herring acknowledged appearing in blackface in 1985. What is it with this black face and liberals and Democrats seriously? The media ran the story of two women accusing lieutenant governor Fairfax of sexual assault actually raped. Denied by Fairfax. But former governor McAuliffe within minutes thereafter proclaimed the accusations to be credible. I think incredible by the way Today. McAuliffe is asking people to vote for the attorney general who served as his attorney general and seeks the continuing a sport supportive Northam. No reasons have been given to the voters as to Terry's change of mind, nor has any reason being made why McCulloch felt compelled to violate Virginia's longstanding precedent. By choosing to run again against persons who had far more experience he means of the Democrat primary. Then he As he had never held elective office of any kind when he ran. All of the candidates he opposed, except one were black, including two women. Whom he felt not qualified to be given the chance that he'd been given at last report. Governor Northam is what drawn his apology for black face. Is what Northam and Herring did all right. By any standard is McCullum going to tell the voters of the credible evidence that he has relative to Fairbanks? Does this suggest? That if you're a black person in Virginia If you've got to think about who you're going to vote for it, then you ain't black. Stay tuned.

"Eight fifty W F T L A thirty five minutes. Kevin Jackson, the black sphere about what's happening in in Virginia, which is truly unbelievable. What's happened there? And the Democratic Party will make sure that Ralph Northam. Stays is the governor because they cannot allow three of them. Ralph Northam who allegedly thirty five years ago appeared in some sort of Michael Jackson tribute wearing black face to stay to resign is the governor when Lieutenant governor Jason Fairfax may have to go because of allegations of rape. Then the attorney general Mark herring. Also appeared in black face who criticized north in for appearing in black face. You cannot have a situation by the political. Correct crowd in Virginia or the black guy is forced to resign. But the two white guys who wore black face remain in office that ain't gonna happen either. And I hate to defend a democrat. But in this case, Justin Fairfax, allegedly and four at the democratic national convention were John Kerry was nominated allegedly voluntarily took a woman to his room. They began the preliminaries things got out of hand. She claims a forced me to perform oral. Sex fillet. Oh, which of course, is a form of sodomy, which is a rape. And then in two thousand while he was a Duke allegedly a woman claims that she was sexually assaulted in a violent way, and she considered to be rate. But in either circumstance that either of these two women who were adult females call the police, they supposedly told girlfriends, and then that was the end of it until what fifteen to nineteen years later when Justin Fairfax is about to become the governor of Virginia and both of them surfaced fifteen to nineteen years later, and I'm not saying the events not transpire fight it better. I think they probably did transpire, but victims of sexual assault. Or victims of any crime. It's incumbent upon then become forward in close proximity to the event. So it can be proven or not proven probably Justin. Fairfax need circumstance view things differently than his so-called alleged victims. So if that's the case the memories are sharp close to the event, there may be physical evidence. There's other indications of what happened. But here we are fifteen to nineteen years later, and it's impossible for Justin Fairfax to adequately defend himself. Because. In this case. What does he say? He says, no it didn't happen. They say it did happen. Unlike Justice Cavanaugh, there's not a hearing to be conducted to put everybody under oath to determine what happened the FBI determine that the charges of blasphemy Ford in Jolie, sweat, Nick. We're not worthy of belief because the witnesses names they supplied did not indicate that the principles for telling the truth. And so in bread Kavanagh's case, he was set free because the FBI said these witnesses that she provided us bless. You Ford's case did not confirm her story at all and Joey sweat, Nick. That woman had no clue what she was saying what she was saying was so fantastic. Nobody would believe it. And then they had another case which didn't even rise to the level of someone taking it seriously. So at least in their cases, there was a former due process and Brett cabin. Or fortunately, he's on the US supreme court. But in the case of Justin Fairfax. He's been charged twice now with sexual assaults that happen fifteen in nineteen years respectively. He can't adequately defend himself at all. What does he say? How does how does he come forward? Now and say what happened what didn't happen? What at the time? The witnesses were available, and they didn't come forward was the Duke student who was twenty years old. Twenty years old. And so it was an adult woman with access to the Duke police department with access to the local sheriff's office with low cut with easy access to nine one one the kids that night or within a week to get a hold of the authorities say this other student Justin Fairfax raped me. And then they would arrest Justin. Fairfax conduct an investigation and the truth would be known same thing in twenty four the democratic national convention the woman there had the opportunity to call the police to say this is what happened this guy named Justin. Fairfax forced me to perform Felicia. And I want to charge. Okay. Well, let's get a hold of Justin. Fairfax. We got the room number. Got. We got where it happened whether witnesses no that weren't witnesses. What are we got? And then they would probably determine not to prosecute them in which case he would have been set free in the sense. But now what does he go back to get his reputation? The democrat. That's one of us. Justin Fairfax to knock late themselves against claims have Apocrypha the next time Republican gets gets caught. And in both circumstances. I think I'm a criminal defense attorney. There ought to be due process rights for Justin Fairfax now with Ralph Northam governor, what does he do? That guy's real clown. The clown showed me and the partial birth abortion situation that he would consider murdering baby in the fourth trimester life after the child was delivered. Then no discussions had because the child might be disabled to kill a disabled child that makes a lotta sense, right? So north them is probably going to withstand this because it appears Dustin in Fairfax has been so damaged so many have called for his resignation. He'll be completely ineffective and Mark herring. The white attorney general appeared in black face. I don't know what to say about him either. Fairfax. Fairfax is in a crisis Northam scouted problem and Mark herring. Largely not been the focus too much of this. Because of what's happened north Fairfax. So coming up later, we have Keith we have Kevin Jackson black sphere to talk about how distinct places self resolve resolves itself later on his Megan Barth of Reagan, baby dot com. Live from Las Vegas Nevada about a woman's perspective on all this. We have three lines open to be call now..

And also his little Online's had attached with Alexandra Cortez. We're also going to get to the latest in the saga of Elizabeth Warren who is now admitting that maybe on a few foreign she said that she was native American awhile ago. Maybe she did that we'll get to that. We'll also get to a fascinating New York Times. Profile of young beta Rourke, the New York Times has a piece today titled beta auroras was adrift in New York City. Now, he's searching again, isn't it? Amazing. So we'll get to that in just a second. I we bring you the latest from the land of Virginia where things are going absolutely beserk. So as you'll recall to recap the last few episodes of days of our lives, the governor of Virginia Ralph northern was caught with his hand in the womb saying that infanticide is okay. This prompted somebody from his medical school. By the way, his medical school yearbook page contains a photo of either him or one of his friends in black face next to a photo of other him or one of his friends in a K K K outfit. This came out. Northern was in trouble. He then came forward and said, I apologize. The de picture was on the page, and then he apologized again. But he said I wasn't in that picture. It's not me. Also, one time I dressed up in black face as Michael Jackson's do the moonwalk at a dance competition, and this created an impetus ended Democratic Party he had to go enough of Ralph northern he dressed up in a bad way in nineteen thousand five he did something racist in nineteen eighty-five finish him enough. We should replace him with Justin. Fairfax the up and coming brilliant young Lieutenant governor of Virginia. Then it turned out things went wrong for Justin Fairfax because the Davis began being discussed it turned out that Justin. Fairfax had been hit with an allegation that in two thousand four he sexually assaulted a woman and Justin Fairfax was angry about it. And I'm old enough to remember when getting angry about knack ization was enough for people to say, you don't have the judicial temperament Justin Fairfax. It was reported today said about his accuser F B word in the privacy of his of his sort of internal conversations. And I'll be honest with you if somebody accused me falsely of sexual assault. I'd be pretty dang upset. But Democrats don't get to stand on that leg considering that they said the breath Cavanaugh being upset about sexual assault. Allegations was just evidence that he was probably guilty. Well, now, Lieutenant governor Fairfax put out a statement and says I'd like to begin by emphasizing how important it is for us to listen to women when they come forward with allegations of sexual assault or harassment as a former prosecutor and someone who is close with the number of women who are survivors of sexual assault. I know that many survivors of sexual assault suffer in silence. And it is absolutely essential to their healing, and our healing as a culture that we give all survivors, the space and support to voice their stories regarding the allegation that has been made against me. What was surprising and hurtful, I also recognize that no one makes charges of this kind lightly. And I take it and the situation very seriously. This has been an emotional couple of days for me, and my family and in my remarks on Monday, I think you could hear how emotional dealing with an allegation that I know is not true has been for me as I have stated previously fifteen years ago when I was in unmarried law student, I had a consensual encounter with the woman who made the allegation at no time. Did she expressed me any discomfort or concern about our interactions neither during that encounter during the months that following followed it when she stayed in touch with me, nor the past fifteen years, she in no way indicated that anything had happened between us that made her uncomfortable? The first indication I had that she felt anything that happened between us fifteen years ago. The made her uncomfortable was when I was contacted by national media organization shortly before my inauguration in two thousand eighteen I voluntarily met with their staff in person told them what I knew about the encounter and responded to all of their questions. I also shared the allegation and my account of the events with a number of leaders in Richmond. Because then as now I have nothing to hide says Justin Fairfax attendant, governor of Virginia. I would like to encourage the media, my supporters and others. But the woman made this allegation and my family with respect for painful, the situation can be for everyone involved. I wish her no harm or humiliation. Nor do I see to denigrate her or diminish her voice. Okay. Now this lady has come forward. And she has released a statement of her own. She has done it via a law firm. The same law firm used by Christine, blazey, Ford, cats Marshall and banks Ford, of course, being the famous accuser of Brad Kavanagh up in here is what Dr Vanessa Tyson says in her statement, she says on the night of Friday, February first two thousand nineteen I read multiple news accounts, indicating that Virginia Lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax would likely be elevated to governor as an immediate result of a scandal involving governor Ralph northern this news flooded me with painful memories, bringing back feelings of grief. Shame and anger that stemmed from an incident with Mr. Fairfax that occurred in July two thousand four during the democratic national convention in Boston, I met Mr. Fairfax on July twenty six two thousand four when he and I were working at the convention. We struck up a conversation on the first day of the convention and soon realized we had a mutual friend. We crossed paths occasionally during the first few days in our interactions were cordial, but not flirtatious we commiserated about our long work hours on the afternoon of the third day of the convention, July, eight twenty eight two thousand four Mr. Fairfax suggested I get some fresh air by accompanying him on a quick errands retrieve documents from his room in the nearby hotel, given our interactions up to that time. I had no reason to. Feel threatened and agreed to walk with him to his hotel. I stood in the entry way of the Roman after he located documents. He walked over and kissed me surprised by his advance was not unwelcome, and I kissed him back. He then took my hand and pulled me toward the bed. I was fully clothed in a pantsuit had no intention of taking my clothes off for engaging in sexual activity in the back of my mind. I also needed to return to the convention headquarters. This is the accuser against Lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax Virginia what began as consensual kissing quickly turned into a sexual assaults. Mr. Fairfax, put his hand behind my neck and forcefully. Pushed my head toward his crotch only. Then did I realize he had unbuckled his pants and removed. His genitals. Then forces genitals into my mouth utterly shocked and terrified I tried to move my head away, but could not because his hand was holding down my neck, and he was much stronger than me as I cried and gag, Mr.. Fairfax force me meet perform certain acts on him. I cannot believe given my obvious distress that Mr. Fairfax thought this forced sexual acts was consensual to be very clear, I did not want to engage in this act with Mr. Fairfax that I never gave any form of consent quite the opposite. I consciously avoided Mr. Fairfax for the remainder of the convention, and I never spoke. To him again. Well, right there you actually have a factual claim that is either true or false. She never spoke to him. Again. He says that she spoke to him several times afterward contacted him etcetera. After the assault. She says I suffered from deep humiliation. Shame. I do not speak about it for years. And I like most survivors suppressed those memories and emotions as a necessary means to continue my studies as pursue my goal of building a successful career. As an academic at the time. I found this horrific incident, especially degrading, giving my regular volunteer work at a local rape crisis center over the next decade, or so I would go on to earn my PHD from the university of Chicago and become a tenured professor at scripts college, a prestigious women's college in Claremont, California years later in October two thousand seventeen I saw a picture of Mr. Fairfax accompanying an article in the root about his campaign for Lieutenant governor in Virginia the image hit me like a ton of bricks triggering buried traumatic memories in the feelings of humiliation. I'd felt so intensely back in two thousand four prior to reading the article I had not followed Mr. Fairfax's career and did not know that he was seeking public office. Unsure of what to do. I felt it was crucial to tell close friends of mine in Virginia who are voters about the assault. This this account continues for two more four page two more full pages. Let you talked about how she talked to the Washington Post. It had just in. Fairfax. Mischaracterized her accounts and mischaracterized the Washington Post response to it. She says Mr. Fairfax suggestion that the Washington Post found me not to be credible is deceitful offensive and profoundly upsetting. His continued a smear campaign by pointing to reporters for two thousand seven educational video in which I talked about being the victim of incest in molestation in that video. I did not talk about being assaulted by Mr. Fairfax. This of course is not proof. He did not sexually assault me. His reliance on this video to say the opposite. It's despicable ended offense to sexual assault, survivors everywhere. And she continues by saying with tremendous anguish. I am sharing. This information about my experience and setting the record straight. And it's been extremely difficult to relive that traumatic experience from two thousand four Mr. Fairfax's tried to brand me as a liar to his national audience in service to his political ambitions and has threatened litigation given his false assertions. I'm compelled to make clear what happened I very much wish to resume. My life is an academic. And professor I do not want to get further embroiled in this highly charged political environment. This is the only statement I in my legal team will be making. Well, that is not the end of the story, obviously. So Lieutenant governor. Justin fairfax. He's in trouble too. So got northern trouble. Fairfax in trouble. Fortunately for Democrats the third in line for the governorship of Regina. Virginia attorney general a guy named Mark herring. Democrat who is going to run for governor in two thousand twenty one anyway. Well, then things went wrong for him too. Because this is just a domino effect of stupidity. And and evil apparently Virginia attorney general Mark herring said Wednesday. He dressed in black face during college elevating the capital scandals to a new level that engulfs the entire executive branch of government. Now, hearing governor Ralph northern and Lieutenant governor Justin in Fairfax. The state's three top Democrats are each embroiled in separate scandals that threaten their career also on Wednesday. The woman who has accused Fairfax of sexual assault made her first public statements going into graphic detail of an alleged two thousand four attack which Fairfax has vehemently denied herring. Put out a statement in which he admitted that he darkened his skin dresses rapper Kurtis blow for nineteen eighty college party when he was nineteen. He says it sounds ridiculous. Even now writing it, but because of our ignorance and glib attitudes. And because we did not have an appreciation for the experiences and perspectives of others we dressed up and put on wigs and Brown makeup. He says his conduct clearly shows that as young man, I had callous and inexcusable lack of awareness and insensitivity to the pain. My behavior could inflict and others. It was really a minimization of both people of color and a minimization of a horrific history. I knew well, even then and then he suggested that he knew the photo would someday surface. He says I have a glaring example from my past that I have thought about with deep regret in the many years since and certainly each time I took a step forward in public service realizing that my goals in his memory could someday collide and cause pain for people. I care about those who stood with me in the many years since or those I hope to servewell office, and he has apparently stepped down from one particular position as head of a bar association..

"Leading men of this country to shut off. Just say right at the outset. I believe. Dr for believe survivor here. I believe I stand with her shows up on Monday. She should be bullied into this scenario. I believe I believe professor Ford. I think she's credible. I even Chuck Schumer. I believe I believe I believe I believe well now that they have a Lieutenant governor and their own party. I'm not hearing very many, I believe as a matter of fact, I haven't heard one and the media the complicit the the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party. They're not asking those questions. What's interesting is now the woman's name that is claiming to have been assaulted by the Lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax her name is Dr Vanessa Tyson and through her attorney who happens to be the attorney for professor Ford. She has now released a statement. I'll read it to you says on the night of Friday, February first two thousand nineteen I read multiple news accounts, indicating that Virginia Lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax would likely be elevated to governor as an immediate result of a scandal involving governor Ralph Northam news flooded me with painful memories, bringing back feelings of grief and shame and anger that stem from an incident with Mr. Fairfax that occurred in July of two thousand and four during the democratic national convention in Boston. I remember that convention well because our member one particular night, we were hanging out. And we decided I met a bunch of Boston cops, and we went into this local pub, and and I wanted to buy everybody dinner, and we just had the time of our lives this the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet anyway, I met Mr. Fairfax on July twenty six two thousand four when he and I worked at the convention. We stuck up a struck up a conversation on the. First day of the convention soon realized we had mutual friends we cross paths occasionally during the first two days, and our interactions were cordial, but not flirtatious we commiserated about our long work hours and on the afternoon of the third day of the convention July twenty eight two thousand four Mr. Fairfax suggested I get some fresh air by company him on a quick errand to retrieve documents from his room in a nearby hotel, given our interactions up to the time. I had no reason to feel threatened and agreed to walk with him to his hotel. I stood in the entry way of the room. And after he located the documents he walked over, and he kissed me, although sort of surprised by the advance that was not unwelcome and I kissed him back. He then took my hand pulled me towards the bed. I was fully clothed and a pantsuit had no intention of taking my clothes off or engaging in sexual activity in the back of my mind. I also knew I needed to return to the convention headquarters. What began as consensual kissing quickly. Turn. And into a sexual assault. Mr. Fairfax put his hand behind my neck, he forcefully push my head towards his crotch only. Then did I realized that he had buckled his belt unzipped, his pants and taken out his penis. He then forced his penis into my mouth utterly shocked and terrified I tried to move my head away, but could not because his hand was holding down my neck, and he was much stronger than me. As I cried and gagged Mr. Fairfax forced me to perform oral sex on him. I cannot believe given my obvious distress that Mr. Fairfax thought that this four sexual act was consensual to be very clear, I did not want to engage in oral sex with Mr. Fairfax never gave him any former consent quite the opposite. I consciously avoided Mr. Fairfax for the remainder of the convention. Never spoke to again after the assault. I suffered from both deep humiliation and shame. I did not speak about it for years, and I like, many survivors or most survivors suppressed those memories and emotions as a necessary means to continue my studies and pursue my goal of building a successful career. As an academic at the time. I found this horrific incident, especially degrading, given my regular volunteer work at a local rape crisis center over the next decade or so I would go on to earn my PHD from the unit. Diversity is Chicago and become a tenured professor at scripts college, a prestigious women's college in Claremont, California years later in October twenty seventeen I saw picture Mr. Fairfax accompanying an article in the root about his campaign for Lieutenant governor in Virginia the image hit me like a ton of bricks triggering buried traumatic memories and feelings of humiliation. I felt so intensely back in two thousand and four and prior to reading that article I had not followed Mr. Fairfax's career did not know that he was seeking public office. Unsure what to do. I felt it was crucial to tell close friends of mine in Virginia who voters about this assault. He says that lactobacillus the boat, quote metoo movement intensified and women throughout the world began forcefully, speaking out about their sexual violence that they had experience and the impact of those experiences on their lives. The courage of so many women coming forward to confront such powerful men and symptoms that and systems that allowed such abuse to occur are part of what inspired me to action. I felt the responsibility to myself the beloved students, I teach the brave women. I've tried to help overcome their own trauma, the passion and resolve of so many survivors coupled with the job security in that tenure afforded me gave me the strength strength. I simply did not have in two thousand and four by December twenty seventeen I not only told many friends that Mr. Fairfax at sexually assaulted me. But I also reached out to a personal friend at the Washington Post and spoke to his colleague about the assault. After the Washington Post decided in March of two thousand eighteen not to run my story, I felt powerless frustrated and completely drained again, I tried to bury memories of this painful incident and focus on my work, and my students on Friday, February I twenty nineteen as stories appeared in the media suggesting governor north would have to resign, Mr.. Fairfax would be sworn in as governor. I felt they jarring sense of both outrage and despair that night vented my frustration on Facebook in a message that I wrote as a private post, I did not identify Lieutenant governor Fairfax by name, but stated that it seemed inevitable that the campaign staffer who assaulted me during the democratic convention and four was about to get a big promotion. It was not my intention in that moment to inject myself into what has become a much larger political battle the following morning. I was inundated with messages of care concern from friends, including many, I had told about the sexual assaults and numerous inquiries from journalists who had become aware of my post over the weekend. I was undecided about whether to speak out publicly. I knew if I did. So I would immediately face accusations about my motives be branded a liar. As is routinely. The case when women come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against prominent men on Sunday night before I had time to decide on course of action. An online publication published a screen shot of my Facebook post identify me by name posted pictures of me and in response at two fifty five AM February fourth twenty nineteen Mr. Fairfax issued a statement further. Escalating the matter by calling me. A liar and falsely characterizing the reasons the Washington Post decided not to run the story about my allegations. The post was forced to repudiate. Mr. Fairfax statement that were significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegations. Which led it to decide not to publish the story about my account rather? As is often the case in situations where sexual assault by an acquaintance occurs behind closed doors years earlier, it's difficult to corroborate either the victims allegations or the accused deny the Niles, Mr. Fairfax suggestion that the Washington Post foul may not to be credible was deceitful. It was dishonest profoundly upsetting. He has continued a smear campaign by pointing reporters to two thousand seven educational video, which I talked about being a victim of incest. The molestation in that video. I did not talk about being assaulted by Mr. Fairfax, this, of course, is not proof that he did not assault me his reliance on this. Video to say the opposite is despicable and an offensive and defensive to sexual assault, survivors everywhere. And she goes on now since October twenty seventeen when it first began telling friends about the assault. I have never wavered in my account because I'm telling the truth. I have no political motive I am a proud democrat by only motive now and speaking out is to refute. Mr. Fairfax's falsehoods aspirations of my character and provide what I believe is important information for Virginians to have as they make a critical decision that involves Mr. Fairfax with tremendous anguish. I am now sharing. This information about my experience setting the record straight. It has been extremely difficult to relive the traumatic experience from two thousand four Mr. Fairfax's tried to brand me a liar to a national audience in service to his political ambitions and has threatened litigation giving us false assertions. I am compelled to make clear what happened. I very much wish to resume my life as an academic. And professor I do not want to get further embroiled in this highly charged political environment. This is the. Only statement I and my legal team will be making. Now, what is do? Now, you got the governor he should go. Then you got the Lieutenant governor you can't put him in place of the governor. But I wanna know, where's Dianne Feinstein? Where's Kamala Harris where is Senator Blumenthal? Where is the Senator from from Hawaii where Hirono where is everybody that said, I believe nowhere to be found. You know, the other good thing about the president's speech last night. It's you know, at the beginning and the end it's not about Republicans and Democrats not an it's about an agenda for the American people. How does the how do the Democrats ever reconcile their position that a president that offers to make the country safer prevent the homicide sexual assaults violent assaults cartels, drug members. The ninety percent of heroin coming into this country that they won't even talk the things these one supported claiming they want DACA and dreamers. President offers that they still won't talk. President says I'm asking you to choose greatness. No matter. What trials we face? No matter what challenges to come. We must go forward. Together. We must keep America. First in our hearts. We must keep freedom alive in our souls. And we must keep faith in America's destiny that one nation under God must be the hope and the promise and the light and the glory among all the nations of the world. Thank you. God bless you. God bless America. The president talked about everything and when he went through I I'm not going to give the litany of his successes. I'll do it on TV tonight. But we've done it many times, but putting it up on our website, Hannity dot com, all of his successes. Something the media will never talk about look what he said about North Korea. Look at the trade deals look at the energy. I mean, the fact that we're now the number one producer of oil natural gas in the world for the first time in sixty five years is amazing or now on target to be the biggest producer and all these forms. Look at criminal Justice reform, what a powerful moment when Alice Johnson who we have interviewed a was pointed out, he said, welcome home to Matthew Charles the.

I shouldn't say a lot a number of people are no longer. Welcome Don sets they were fired for from this company or that company for their behavior. Hollywood is the hashtag metoo movement calling governor Fairfax out. Okay. I'm Marie I'm already through few eleven hours ago. No, no, nothing. I don't see any nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Always believe the allegation. Right. Always believed the woman. No, apparently, not here. So hurry Cavanaugh just wondering here. Graphic new details. Remerged about a newly revealed allegations of sexual assault against Virginia. Governor Justin Fairfax as the Washington Post pushbacks a push back against Fairfax claim that the newspaper found serious problems with the original accusation when initially opted not to publish the account. The post did not find significant red flags and inconsistencies with the allegations. As a Fairfax statement incorrectly said the Washington Post said in a story published Monday sharply disputing the Lieutenant governor statement the allegation of Fairfax. A democrat first surfaced on the website big league politics, the same right wing political blog that published you now infamous yearbook photo showing someone in black face and someone in the KKK costume Virginia. Governor Ralph Northam nineteen Eighty-four yearbook page Fairfax has vehemently denied the accusation. Well, not at first. Oh, unfair fair Fairfax Fairfax. Fairfax has vehemently denied the accusation of sexual assault. He tweeted out a statement saying he has never salted anyone in any shape or form. Fairfax the accuser woman, I approached the Washington Post over a year ago prior to Fairfax's inauguration in twenty eighteen the post carefully investigated the claim for several months. Fairfax office said in a statement after being presented with facts consistent with the Lieutenant governor's denial of the allegations the absence of any cooperating evidence cooperating the allegation and significant red flags and inconsistencies with the allegation. The post made the considered decision not to publish the story. And it's Monday story, the Washington Post acknowledged investigating the claims and decided not to publish. But it said that the Fairfax statement incorrectly claimed the paper found significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegations. Fairfax and the woman told different versions of what? Happened in the hotel room with no one else present the paper said the Washington Post dot find anyone who would cooperate. The other version doesn't matter. That doesn't matter. Right. Dot the allegation is what mattered Washington Post, the Washington Post didn't name the accuser, but the paper said Fairfax and the woman I met in Boston at the two thousand four democratic national convention this woman described sexual encounter that began with consensual kissing and ended up with a force act that left her crying and shaking the Washington Post reported. She said for facts guided her onto the bed where they continue kissing and at one point she realized that she could not move her neck. She's said Fairfax use his strength to force her to perform a sexual act. So there you go. Again, we're just look what we're looking for from all across the board is consistency. Right. And where where's that? Call. At the very least to say that you don't have the confidence in him to lead. I mean, we've seen a number of private sector companies let go of people were people with cavenaugh again. It was the Democrats. And it was looked that's enough for you not to serve right? We don't because we can't have confidence in you, even if we can't prove it. But the whole point is the Washington Post you didn't print the story. Right. Why not why thought the allegation matter? Right. So what you're stating is the Alex an allegation itself isn't enough. Did they print the allegations that were which were unverified? That were all spelled out in the dossier. Against then candidate Trump. Well, they.

"To forget it ever happen to one day you find out he's the democratic candidate for statewide office in estate some three thousand miles away. And he wins that election in November two thousand seventeen then by strange, horrible luck. It seems increasingly likely he'll get a very big promotion. So this allegation has been out for several months and bigly politics published the allegation now Lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax has released a statement about it. The statement says tonight and online publication released a false and unsubstantiated allegation against Lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax, Lieutenant governor. Fairfax has an outstanding and well earned reputation for treating people with dignity and. Checked his never assaulted anyone ever in any way, shape or form the person reported to be making this false allegation. I approached the Washington Post one of the nation's most prominent newspapers more than a year ago around the time of Lieutenant governor's historic inauguration. The post carefully investigated the claim for several months after being presented with facts consistent with the Lieutenant governor's denial of the allegation the absence of any evidence. Corroborating the allegation and significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegation the post made the consider decision not to publish the story K. So this is led to accusations that the Washington Post spiked the story on behalf of Lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax now there, I'll talk to them one second about whether in facts that allegation is justified. Suffice it to say their grave suspicions today that governor Fairfax Lieutenant governor Fairfax is being victimized by leaks from Northerns office, basically, nor them in an attempt to save himself is saying well, don't look at my black Lieutenant governor and say that that guy is ready to be governor. Because there's this still hanging out there. So if that's the case if it is true that route. Northern's office is going after his Lieutenant governor that's played some real some real heavy handed hardball right there. I mean, that's that's pretty low stuff as the allegations, the Washington Post, spike, this one thing that that both the northern story, and the Fairfax story revealing is the insane double standard that exists with regard to allegations insane double standard. So the Washington Post apparently had this information they had the allegation, and they never published it why. Because it was incorporated. There's no supporting evidence, and there were significant red flags and inconsistencies within the allegation, according to Lieutenant governor Fairfax's office, all which seems like a pretty good reason to publish a story except that I'm old enough. Remember when the Washington Post and every other major media outlet in the country Ren with allegations by Christine blazey Ford that had significant red flags and inconsistencies that had no corroborating evidence, and that were blatantly denied by Brad Kavanagh, and it became the subject may full-scale judicial hearing with Democrats slandering the man as possible gang rapist. I remember when. They ran with all of these allegations. And Michael have ATI was coming forward. And it's just saying that he had evidence that Brett Cavanaugh might in fact have participated in gang rape. And Kamala Harris, the new democratic presidential candidate was sitting up there, implying the exact same thing. People ran with it. So it is worth noting that the same people in the media who who say, oh, yeah. Well, we will never have run with an allegation like that. It was just not substantiated enough those same people. We're not willing to run with an allegation were willing to run with an allegation against Brad Kavanagh that was very close to similar. So that's that's pretty that is pretty telling about the media, by the way, the media..

"I think that it's an unfair advantage. So not to take advantage of your. Let's be honest. You know, if everyone had a box unfair advantage, by the way, that's your cell phone, if you haven't tried it it works, and it's awesome to and the name and name is there. So again, if everyone has access to all the tools and all the knowledge, you know, the sky's the limit. I mean, it really is. I mean, we can we can go anywhere with this. But again, we need to say define what it is that we're actually looking for. And again, if you talk about optimisation, we need to be able to optimize things, you know. I was thinking before coming on. When we talk about the peo- movement and looking and people wanting to go out, and do, you know, if you really wanna be paleo, forage and hunt and fish for your food. And I did see I have a t shirt that says a vegetarian village Iliad that doesn't know how to hunt and fish, I'm so you seen that. And you know, at the end of the day, how many people could actually go out and woods and navigate, you know, find a way in and out woods and actually live for a couple of days. We have devolved as down to teaching people how to navigate the supermarket. Okay. Telling them where the good food is. And what dislike which mentors? Where's where's the? So again, people like you or so so important because you're creating this whole Brown of being smart and taking it to the next level and learning. Thanks for facts. One of the things that that I'm doing in a small way that might help us in that direction may be some stuff we can turn the website. We're putting together the whole food menu for the center of excellence for the us team. And the idea here is all right. This is about supplements, although likes uplands, I think that they're really really beneficial. But it's about all right? What are we gonna eat? Is it grass-fed if it's not don't eat it because industrial meets not good for you. Especially getting sixteen chicken breast today from non-organic chickens recipe for disaster. So he is how do we get that? Right. How do we show that it works at the very highest levels? And then how do we percolate that down? So that it's your kid's school lunches like that. That's a big goal. But we're coming up on the end of the show, and we're at the American Academy of anti medicine so ask you a new questionable prefer when you're probably not expecting. Okay. How long are you gonna live? So as I said earlier, I turn sixty five in August. So I decided when I turn sixty five that was going to start all over again in my life from day one. And everything that I did right was gonna continue everything that I did wrong. I was going to fix every day that I wake up. I look at it is opportunity to start and fix everything. It was you know, wrong and make it better. So all of this knowledge that I gave for sixty five years, I'm gonna put it into the next sixty five years. So Dave Asprey. Our see you at the top. And when I get to one thirty I'm going to raise you, and I'm going to remind you of this time here in Vegas, and I'm going to have a book. Hopefully, then I'm gonna sign named Fairfax hackley to twelve that's a temperature which would have balls. I'm fire. I love it. Fairfax thinks things are being on the show. And thanks for the answer. I I just pass my forty fifth birthday. That's my twenty five percent birthday. And so the way you're reframing originally. I'm starting over. It's that mindset that is a huge part of living longer. Thank you for that mindset. And if you're listening to the show stop looking at counting years Fairfax, here's forty two little bit younger biological logically, sixty five chronologically and he's going to go past one thirty. Are you really thinking about yourself on that fixed linear scale where around eighty s when everything goes to shit? And basically your future is going to be walkers diapers and not knowing your name, putting your car keys in the fridge. You gotta stop thinking that way as not how it works and you've seen it before and your family you've seen it before..

And you probably with your trauma, but you get to make your choices. Right. And and so I I appreciate that. No, they're making that choice and be to make the choice. But I think aesthetically they didn't know they were choosing that right? And the same thing may be true of a cyclist who take too much EPO and get sludge in their vans. All these things where do you think is going though, Fairfax? Well, I think the biohacking community be led by you is helping us e through the nonsense. What I call PG pure garbage. You know, there's just so much stuff out there now and you being. Despair mentor. You can tell people look I've done this. This is not something I've read about or seen. I've actually done this in that gives you the legitimacy that automatically makes you more than ninety percent of the people out there, and you can actually pinpoint look this may be okay for now. But what about the long term? So I remember reading a Sports Illustrated article years ago about Olympia, and the article said, they did a survey of Olympic athletes in ask them, if you could take something that we guarantee you a gold medal, but will kill you within five years. Would you still take it and ninety percent of the people responded? Yes. Isn't that shocking? It's crazy. So when you went back to things like, you know, Lance Armstrong, and in some of these other people, you know. Look at as you said before this was a guy who had cancer. This was a guy who was on his deathbed. So whatever he took to save to stay alive is important. But then he needed these things to survive. Yeah. Period. So who are we to judge him? But again, he went out there. And I think having had several members of my family die from cancer. And I was so aspired by what he did. I mean, the guy could've taken drastic part drugs for I don't care. He he did Sannoh. Did he wants seven tour the France titles in a row haven't beaten cancer? Yeah. With one testicle could one testicle. So this people out the other probably couldn't do that with four. Carries extra weight or right? Right. Right. So. That may be on new biohacking. To figure out how to do that. But, you know, at the at the end of the day, you know, you have to take the positive out of the negative. And I think that many of us keep focusing on the negative too much of the negative. So take the potty what whether we learn from this in that so important and to go forward we have to look at the history. So I'm glad you asked me about what happened with bodybuilders back in the day. They were really focused on health, and fitness and wellness these guys who went out in the sunshine. They did deep breathing they lifted everything's they sprint it. They ate organic. You know, they did all the right things to actually look, but also feel good, and they really tried to live a long life and listen to some of the people who were their mentors. So again, we're starting to devolve because the onus has become how do I look the six pack. You know, everyone now is a six pack expert. But if you look at six. It's not really healthy. Yeah. And it's also not very functional. So someone who you know is really striving to get a six pack functionally, they're not gonna perform very, well if your body fats too, low, whether you're a man or woman, the numbers of different your brain doesn't work your homos, ozone work. You don't sleep well because your body pretty much thinks you're hunted animal that you'd have time to eat, and you're running all the time or whatever it is. And so that shredded, you know, wolverine look that's done with drugs that make you dehydrated. So you can look that way for the day on film and to try and walk away walk around looking like that all the time. I mean, it just doesn't happen..

"Wrestling director and a judo experts radio personality and a former body building champion and guy who's who's done a lot of work, even with George H Bush who was photos, you know, of them training together. So I guess really been into fitness, and all and you could say Dave, you don't have many bodybuilders on the show. And there's a reason for that. I consider bodybuilders to be. Well, some of the original by hackers on the planet, and the reason for this is they said, look, I want to look a certain way. And it is not the way that mother nature wanted me to look. So I'm going to take control by all gem and away. What I eat. I'm gonna try these different things going to measure them write it down. So it did you just follow the law in game changers? The track it to hack it. Yes. They did. So the thinking there was great. But the the alternate mindset there was quite often. I wanna look good at any cost all inject strange things into my muscles like margarine in order to create cool ripple effects that might kill you later. So the longevity the health was missing from that community sometimes, but there were a few early guys who really really focused not just on on looking good, but they focused on what we would now call health, and these are sort of wear lung jetty and bodybuilding comes together when I created the term biohacking that's now. In the dictionary is a new part of a language as of this year. The idea was to bring together navy seals astronauts neuro science and bodybuilders what you'd never see those people in the same room together. And of course, anti-aging people. So we have a community and all we care about his control of our own biology. So here's a guy on the show today. His name is Fairfax hackley, and he's done the bodybuilding thing he's done the health thing. And we're here in anti-ageing conference where he regularly tends. So very old school by hacker with a lot of knowledge to share Fairfax. Welcome to show. Great to be her say, I want to start out by having my gratitude today to you and your staff have on the segment, and you know, I wake up every day with gratitude in my attitude. So this is really truly a gift it's even better than a blessing because a gift keeps giving and to see you and to go through this journey with you for three years..
