Court Rules Thomas Jefferson H.S. Admissions Does Not Discrminate

"A panel of federal appellate judges ruled today That the admissions process of Thomas Jefferson high school for science and technology a prestigious magnet program in fairfax county Virginia Does not discriminate against Asian American applicants The Washington Post reports as argued by a group of parents opposing the admissions changes The ongoing legal battle between the coalition for TJ and the fairfax county school board is over the admissions process which was revised in 2020 school officials said to bring more diversity to the school Locally known as TJ and often ranked as the best high school in the country On Tuesday the U.S. Court of Appeals for the fourth circuit reversed a lower court's decision that the admissions system was an illegal act of racial balancing That's right U.S. district judge Claude Hilton sided with parents last year and concluded that quote the purpose of the board's admissions overhaul was to change the racial makeup to TJ to the detriment of Asian Americans Let me pause here and point out something else One of the ironies of their changing of the system was that more white students were admitted to Thomas Jefferson to TJ after the admissions change The left was gunning for Asian students so much so that yes black admissions did go up but so did white admissions There are more white students now at TJ at Thomas Jefferson school for science and technology than there were before the left medal with the emissions process That's been the effect of this As they try and meddle with the color of the skin of the people who go there rather than assess their merits So the U.S. Court of Appeals for the fourth circuit reverses the lower court's decision

"I know who we can have. Yes. Yeah, him. Carl. Apparel free. Let's talk to our fancy fairfax county school board. Dancing. A hi Carl, good morning. Uh oh, hang on. Hold please. You're not plugged in. I mean, you are plugged in. Yes. There we go. Okay. We're speaking, but now you're plugged in. Go ahead. Absolutely nuts. Yeah. Would you like to would you like to be the human form of this 75 page fact checking Donald Trump CNN town hall, would you like to just pick anything? 13 pages. I mean, it reminded me of how pleasant the last couple of years have been without him doing this every single day on television. Yeah. Oh, God. So there's that. I mean, Trump calls them witch hunts, Santos calls them witch hunts. What's crazy about that is that historically speaking, if there was any party that would have been like gung Ho for a witch hunt, it would be the Republican Party. I mean, they basically used the crucible like it's erotic fan fiction. Yeah. Exactly Yeah, I know, you're right, Carl, it is like a 2016 acid flashback, but like, as I said, was quicksand and piranhas because it just, oh my God, the flapping Garfield anus lips, just the whole, but oh my God, all the same lies. I mean, I guess we knew they were going to be all the same lies over and over and over. But this time with a cheering bunch of yahoos, right? The CNN allowed. This was not a town hall, it was a rally. A hosting is rally. And we thought at the end of 2020, when he left office in 2021, that the 11 billion lies that he made as a candidate for president and then as a president. That was probably the high water mark. But I think we've learned that there is never going to be a high water mark when it comes to this man's lives. They will continue to mount up and the media will continue to flail in responding to them. He'll also continue to put his fitness mouth putting himself in legal jeopardy. I would not be surprised if aging Carroll has other lawsuits to file based on this interview. Yeah, I just said that, Carl, and the first segment. I'm like, if I were a sewer assume again, I mean, it's like, this is just, it's extraordinary that we keep like, I don't know, I guess surprise isn't the word, because we're not surprised. It's just what the fact that he continually just goes into a rake factory every time he goes on TV legally. We were saying Ellie hoenig was talking about January 6th that he would check this should totally use this admission. I don't know exactly. I didn't watch the God. I couldn't have withstood the whole thing, but the admission that basically he sent them. I mean, whatever it is he said last night, according to experts, is legally admissible. Don't you think? Yeah, anything he says is legally admissible. I mean, during the trial, they showed him audio and rent back his quote stem. So I think every time he talks in public about any of this stuff, he's all even deeper. And I think the media, when we say we're not surprised, the media shouldn't be surprised either. They need to come ready for all of the lies. Trump went on CNN because he was under the impression that he would be able to go on a network just like he does to Fox News and newsmax and get very little challenge. And that's partially what he got. The traditional media your CNN's MSNBC's and BC CBS PBS, et cetera, they need to hold themselves to a higher standard than those other outlets. And Trump will never sit for an interview at an outlet that holds those high standards. So they should wear that as a badge of honor rather than thinking, what am I doing wrong that I can't get this buffoon on my air? Yeah. Yeah. Good God. How many times did I think of Eric boehler last night? I'm like, oh, God. I just. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I'm trying to even form questions, Carl, 'cause I don't. I think we say we all expected the number of lies, but as we were saying, poor Caitlyn Collins is put in a terrible position. I mean, she tried to fight, but you know, you put her in the lion's den. They're all booing her and cheering him. I mean, what's happened? I don't even know how to put it. Our humanity, Carl. People in that audience weren't any of their wives sisters, girlfriends, anybody sexually assaulted. Their laughing at the fact that he was just convicted of that, and laughing at jokes. I mean, it's just, do they not have women they love it? Fighting to make sure that 11 year olds and ten year olds have to carry their rapist's child. So I don't think that they have a human approach to these issues. Period, they don't. Yeah. But I guess in the other thing, for you as a political strategist, just the fact that he's allowed to completely misrepresent his record and finds record just, I mean, I don't even want to say. The numbers almost everything. Again, how many pages does this Travis I couldn't possibly? His team pages. I couldn't have possibly gone through this entire thing, but it's just wildly the numbers are all wrong. He just pulls numbers out of his ass, right? I think we've given 36 billion to Ukraine. He said, 171 billion in counting. He just pulls numbers out of his ass. He said, what have you always the other thing he said, Travis? We don't even have any ammunition for ourselves anymore. We gave him to Ukraine. He said, but I mean, the percentage of people I guess the beliefs. My girlfriend was saying, this is the thing with good liars. It's these soaks says it was so much conviction and like he knows there's a percentage of idiots like in that audience that go. It's not about he could literally say anything and the people that and so we have to remember that him being front and center for the Republicans is the best thing Republicans can do for us. But we also have to remember that we can't take anything for granted that we need to fight just as hard as we did in 2020 and 2019 and 2018 and 2017. And make them own him. If we can make them own him again, we can win back the house we can keep the Senate and we can defeat him. Yeah. But he is the face of the Republican Party. Well, the happy clappy side of me says that, Carl, that this is good news for us. You know, like good, let them cling to him. Because if you do look at polling in terms of all of us, not just Republican voters, I think it's 60 something percent. Don't want him to run again. So you think we're not insane. It's that Republican base that he's doing so well with and I guess the political strategist and you must thank good. Bring the bring the entire party down with you as you've been doing in the last elections. Yes, but again, it's about what are you doing with your opportunity here, right? And so we can not look at this as a rest on your laurels opportunity. We need to see this as they grab the I'm going to make a sports metaphor. So everybody get up and tell them incorrectly. But we need to take this football and run it down the field

Prosecutors are going after him because he broke the law. No, no, no, Chris. It's because he's a big. That likes fried food. I mean, but we were saying, I don't know whether it's just 'cause they're off the Trump train or it's the dominion lawsuit, but oh my God, you know, they're actually reported that it was the Trump administration that rolled back the trail safety and safety regulations. As I said earlier, was talking about how, you know, Trump didn't go to any train derailments, even the fatal ones in his administration. So I journalism has broke out power on Fox. Your thoughts? "Puts his money where his mouth is Carl Let's talk to our fancy fairfax county school board friendship This word woke I don't mean just don't be a hole to people that are different than you I might be finding it correctly Okay I mean you know and it's become a term thrown around on the right with great abandoned just like CRT It's a catch all for everything they don't like about us Yeah But I mean you know the famous first they came poem right You know they came for fill in the blank I didn't stand up because I wasn't I mean was the embodiment of that She's like I'm a straight white Christian mom suburban mom Because that's the whole thing is the attempt to otherwise people They go you must be for that He is a cursor right in his nose It looks like it's picking his nose Could you please move that Thanks so much Okay go ahead Carl Well sometimes I feel like I want to curse I mean her remarks I wanted to scream ditto from the rooftops And then I remember people probably younger people don't know what it ditto is But I agree with everything she had to say and I wish more people would say it You know this line of attack that's going on right now on the right is just nuts Yeah Yeah no it really is That's what I mean I've heard this so much now and that's what it just doesn't mean just don't be a D to other people It's not what woke means that we have a lot of diversity in this country Someone is different than you I mean I think inherent in what she said is you shouldn't have to be a straight white Christian conservative mom to have credibility to go don't be D's to kids Seem different to you right Right I think it's just about being aware And being conscious of people's differences and that not everybody has the same experiences that you do And that scares some people Because it implies this foreign human emotion to them empathy Yeah Yeah Well you know Carl you seem to me too to be in a really unique position and that you're on the school board and you are a political strategist And here we go into the midterms And they're running a lot on these cultural issues right This is what they said junkin one on that oh we're the parents party I mean and Brian Tyler Collins tweeted so far the Republican Party has banned abortion books History lessons in Disney because they really really really hate cancel culture I mean I feel like this is a war we can fight and win Again majorities are on our side on all these issues Yeah and not only that this really isn't to them about winning over new voters This is really just about motivating their base And it tells you volumes that this is the kind of stuff they have to turn to to motivate their base when Donald Trump is no longer on the ballot You know this is what they have to do to get their Republican voters out to vote You know it's frightening that this is what motivates their party Yeah Yeah Well here's just some numbers Oh I believe our suit tweeted this but 2021 registered voters 40% Democrats 31% independence 29% Republicans 4 million new 18 years old eligible voters She just said when we vote we win I mean again people feel overwhelmed like oh the majority thinks this or this It's like the Republicans are not even 30% of the country right So we have to not feel overwhelmed and realize that we are in greater numbers if we just turn out right As long as we vote some really bad things won't happen I realize that it's difficult for a lot of people to see the utility in voting They don't feel like they got everything they wanted when the presidency changed over But that's because we need more people not fewer in Washington who support those values It means we need more senators and more members of the house to support those values And the exact opposite will happen If Republicans win control And when you see their agenda it should frighten everybody into taking a stand and getting involved Yeah yeah no absolutely I mean I was saying you know obviously this mask thing is driving me insane I'm glad the DoJ is appealing it I'm glad the CDC is obviously taking the position they have But when you're feeling like you're taking crazy pills you're like 60% of the American people think the mask mandate should remain In transportation quarters I talked to a teacher yesterday from out here who said we just masking I'm sick I mean we've just seen in England as we've talked about yesterday you know where they've lifted all the mask mandates all the flight they're canceling flights because all the flight crews are sick I mean when you feel like you're living again in the idiocracy But again I guess I'm heartened by the numbers but I don't know what's going to happen legally What's your take on it I guess we'll have to see what happens You know I did see yesterday that the CDC has the Department of Justice to appeal that court decision I think it would be lunacy if the presidency can not impose safety protocols in the middle of a pandemic I think that would be lunacy And it's no surprise that it came from a Trump judge But I mean when you learn all the details it makes you even more infuriated She was supposed to be for her jurisdiction not for the whole country She took that She didn't hear arguments at all That is astounding You're right that one person having a president that might have appointed her Yeah no exactly But it can rule on public health for 330 million Americans I mean and it's like I say as things started to sink in you just had doctors and health experts regular people just infuriated by this So have you heard what the timeline might be for this Because obviously a lot of us were hoping that they would ask for a stay Clearly now everybody's flying without they don't have to wear masks now So what do you think I believe that would be the first step in appealing that they would ask first day so that nothing would be enforced until after this work sits way through the courts I've not seen if they've done that yet And I certainly saw the news that DoJ would be appealing I imagine part of their strategy is going to be to ask the first day as well Yeah Yeah So let's turn to January 6th for a minute I have to say it's.

"G is in the house on America first. Welcome back to one on one with Stacy langton. Stacey, so what happens then? You found the materials and you want to tell other parents about this pornographic homosexual material in your children's school libraries. What do you do next? Well, I went to the school board meeting. And I had never attempted to speak at a schoolboard meeting before. You know, I'm not an activist. This is not something I'd ever done. So you go to the FCP website and you sign up. That's the fairfax county public school board. Right, so this is how our system works. I don't know how it works in other counties. But, you know, it's a lottery, okay? So you go in and they open the lottery on a certain day and I believe it's like four days before the meeting itself, right? And your name gets put into a hat, and then they're going to draw the speakers. So apparently this is a new rule that had happened about four weeks prior to the date I spoke and they were doing that to try and make it more fair because I guess previously, a lot of people were sort of like commandeering the slots and taking up all the slots for one particular subject. So I got luck of the draw. But I didn't even get on the main speaker list. So I think they have like ten or 13 speakers. And then they have a wait list because sometimes people don't show up or sometimes maybe they're in the room, but they get scared and they check it out. They don't want to speak. And that night they must have had a lot of no shows because they went pretty deep into the wait list. And I got to speak. And so do they know what you're going to talk about? Do you have to declare advice? When you fill out that online form that puts you into the lottery, it says, you know, like subject. There's a field, you know, and I just put the word library. I mean, that's what I was going through. There was something was in the library and it's not like you don't have time or space in that window to type out a paragraph. It's just, you know, one word. And so obviously I'd never been there before. They didn't know who I was or that I was coming. And I had you spoken at a fairfax county school board. No, no, I've never been to a school board meeting. I was like, so when I did that, you know, it was very painful to do because the only way to get across the gravity of this material is to show it. The material you have to see the images and you have to hear the words because it's that bad. And that was what this other woman in Texas had done, and she got to do it for three minutes. We're only given two minutes. So she got to read many, many more. That's the video where somebody's holding up. I think it's like herself he's holding the poster board and you know, so that's all I did was I just printed up a few of the pictures, you know, blew them up to make it bigger. So because of the board sitting like 20 feet away, I had to hold it up so here you go. You can see this. And I read some of it aloud. And that was nerve wracking because, you know, that was very humiliating to say such graphic. What's the meaning? It's disgusting. Well, and honestly, still, it's been a month ago every time I see that clip if it comes up on other media. Like it makes me it almost makes me tear up because it's so it's so awful. But they did not want to hear it, right? So what happened? You show the world that's photographic Peter filling material in your children's school library in front of the board that is meant to be running their public schools. What was their reaction? Well, I think the first school board member who interrupted me, she said, ma'am, ma'am, there are children in the room. Yeah, the whole point is you're trying to protect them from images like this. Exactly. These are the images that we found them blurred out. Thanks to a little bit of salt. But this is scenes of sex with underage boys. This is what we're talking about. Right. It's just absolutely horrific. So the board doesn't want you to talk about it because that children present, which is the point. Well, actually, there weren't children present necessarily in the room. I think what they were referring to is the fact that they live stream. One video. Board meetings, right? So yeah, I mean, I guess potentially at home, there could have been children sitting at home. I mean, I don't know how many kids are sitting around watching school board meeting. They're kind of boring. But, you know, I didn't realize that. I didn't know that at the time that it was being live streamed or whatever. And so that was why they cut my feed. They cut the camera feed so that the images were never broadcast to the kids at home. Okay. Okay. But you know, the board could still see them because I was, you know, physically. Physically in the room. And then I think it might have been Stella Picard ski who interrupted me the second time. And they cut my mic, right? They literally silenced me. And so once your mic is cut, then nobody can hear you. And when they silenced me, the room sort of erupted, right? Because everybody was angry then because they could see what was happening, they could hear what I was saying. And they were like, no, like, don't cut her off. Let her finish, and, you know, it was kind of a melee. And then the board fled the room. Really? Yeah, they were. They left. They scurried away into the darkness behind the curtains that hang behind the it's on a stage, right? We're in the middle school and it's their auditorium. And they called a recess, and they were gone for 20 minutes before they came back. And when they came back, we got admonished. Stella Picard ski, who is the chair, board member..
