You can put a laptop on it and then you can move around right so if you will using a laptop of a screen you could then still have two screens because like the laptop is suspended. F- People are going to ask. What desk amusing. I can't just know this. So there is a company called fully F. U. L. L. Y. Who are going to be a sponsor and some of my shows in the future when I saw the options. I bought two desks as my own money because they had exactly what I was looking for. They ever desk the Jarvis desk which I think is considered to be one of the best like one of the Wacko. Picks of this looks very good. U. stands for in doing that gather delays for you and me Donald Straus three to six on KGO eight ten I'm you're listening to the John Batchelor show I'm just taking you through the third yeah this is John the Wall Street journal is a member of the editorial board looking to February fourth Tuesday February fourth twenty twenty at that moment the president of the United States can speak to the American people in delivering the state of the union the question bill last excellent question in this column we can all join in this game will the president conduct himself this way about the past or that way about the future still a very good evening to you we've got a lot of talk between now and February fourth and if the first several days of the impeachment trial in the Senate or any indication allow that talk is going to be out of shift however the president has a moment on February fourth to look to twenty twenty to look to the American people and his own reelection will he take it in a similar way that Bill Clinton took the opportunity to address Congress after his impeachment and did not mention Monica Lewinsky good evening to hi John well he's definitely going to take it the question is how look at the the interesting thing is that the scene the union is less than two weeks away and I think the plan is to have this to the Republican plan at least is to have this trial over before then and I think the Democrats sort of know that and I think that's our plan to but they're just going to accuse the Republicans covering up I'm not sure they want to go any further so wind up my point is that when Donald Trump appears to the state of the union the Senate will just failed again I'm so he'll be like Sir one of those monsters in a Japanese film like Godzilla you know you throw your spears and you shoot him in the head in with your rocket city still standing just by speaking from there without even saying anything he's he's actively saying you found everything you had against me special counsels to press abandoning objectivity and tells you to Steve calling me a Russian aging you and teach me and I'm still here I mean by definition I think he makes them look bad as you pointed out Bill Clinton delivered his stadium in although his was as his Senate trial was going on it was in January and he didn't mention impeachment but it was a pretty Trigon sent stating the union he emphasized the economy the health of the economy calls on kind of put partisanship behind and come together and six social security and other things the American people so the president has a lot of choices there you know he's also he may make history he he's third president impeached but he may be the first one wins reelection hi what we have here is an opportunity for the president as you say in your column to review his achievements in the first term just right all of these ankle biting and I believe he made a preview of that speech at Davos we're surprised right at at at the presentation a mated Davos and how carefully he was heard by the lords and ladies of the solar system no I I I wasn't surprise because they've been making it for awhile and I would add to this one thing he has this Bill Clinton didn't have is his strike console mainly he makes him look strong H. it whether you agree with it or not he took out a man who kills Americans who has killed Americans and he just looks strong for that so I think he has a lot to boast about and even some things that I might not agree with they were things he said he would do when he's done them or try to do them if it's quite remarkable so I think I think that they've kind of created a monster on the democratic side I mean it's it's it's kind of the old adage if you shoot the king you better Callum and I think they're just gonna make trump looks stronger and stronger he just takes all this criticism any comes out on top and what is the ambition just a moment I want to cross to the other side look at it the right Democrats do what is their ambition here knowing they don't have sixty seven votes and they never knowing that there's no crime knowing that the American people are watching this saying Hey look there's an election in nine months what do the Democrats hope to achieve on February fourth at night are they gonna believe are they going to walk out of the chamber where they may I I mean Donald Trump excites a lot of passion they may I'm not sure it helps them if they do that they may turn their backs on him I mean you can imagine all sorts of all sorts of things I think you know there's two different categories of the Democrats here I think the house Democrats you know just reflected this the the popular view in the Democratic Party especially among the last to trump should be impeached no matter what I think Mrs Felicity tried to resist so she couldn't says he sent up a fairy badly done impeachment you know we're out with the group Goldberg kind of process to get there didn't even begin with the vote the way it should have begun so at the senators are stuck with this a democratic senators so what do you do they probably don't want to sit there for six weeks with the witnesses that could go very badly for them because on the one hand I'm not sure John Bolton is going to give them what they want saying this is an impeachable offense and on the other hand god knows what we'll find out about the bidens in Ukraine right so that there's a lot of potential for embarrassment there so I think with the Democrats I don't think the Democrats in the Senate certainly not the candidates won a long trial but they don't want to say that so they figure the Republicans don't want it let the Republicans do the dirty work of keeping this trial shorten and accuse him of cover up and that may be the best hand that they have given the very poor hand that Mrs close he dealt with I've heard it said bill over and the actions that the Republicans are now looking at the possibility of regaining the house because of the obsession the Democrats have demonstrated and making the moderates make tough votes about this impeachment is that credible now that the Republicans the tables are turned on in between now and then I mean I look at states like nine New Jersey it seems to be going in a blue direction anyway even without Donald Trump bye bye I'm not sure that the seats the Republicans lost so we could get back you know we had one guy slept during the impeachment so I'm not sure it's certain Lee a possibility and and what's interesting to me John is Democrats don't seem to think the way forward like they'd be nearer when they were putting together this very flimsy impeach him with all these unfair things they never seem to think what if it sales because it's so badly put together and what comes after and then the same way I mean there's a possibility I'm not sure it's a likelihood but there's a possibility Donald Trump is reelected three the Senate stays Republican and the Republicans regain the house what will Democrats do if they would wake up the day after the election for that and they give us they were impeach him again they they last just it's not just with Donald Trump look at what they're doing in Virginia on guns right you know they get they get power and they want to shut down these people service in the UK and this the same kind of deplorable sentiment directed at trump voters was directed at these gun owners who are long order people didn't do anything wrong and a you know we were told for like two weeks so my god another Charlottesville was coming and of course it didn't not only that they picked up their own trash we just have a minute Helen you suggest water where the Democrats going over this do they have a plan B. I have heard it said and it surprised me when I heard it that Adam Schiff is running to replace Nancy Pelosi is that credible if she learns valuable I mean I think someone I think someone has to someone has to replace her and I'm not sure she reflex I'm not sure two things we see here how to how often winds Nancy Pelosi is it doesn't work that way today right and also I think she's out of step with her call okay I don't think a Lucy is any brilliant strategist or anything and but I think she may be more in tune with where today's Democrats art than Mrs closely who practically it is more concerned about those moderate Democrats because they're the source of her speakership the other guard William occurred he writes main street for the Wall Street journal looking forward to.

"We'd have some account to it's nothing activity days maybe but not. No, you wouldn't go away and stay. What are you doing? The summers. Do anything you kind of. You starter waiting of this phone charges. I can do this on that today. Listen until a hold on posits. So wait what we say you saying fucking idiot. I know whenever I pause psych. Nice. Remember what you're send, you come out? Awesome. They have Britain ultra. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. So what do you do actives? Yeah, like you might go away for like a sport stairs. What do you do just stay at home or just like meet your friends play time in the park and play your friends? That's probably some awkward and do stay Oh, home. man. And get paid here. But yeah, summa cum been good, factually force friendship in it. My my personality. Yeah, you know, I liked about it is that you get all these people could be new people. Again, you'd left your school where you're already decided you're the nerd or the jock, whatever, and you yourself from that every year? Pretty much. Could be the cool guy. You could. Yeah, I wasn't, but I could've been my cards, right. I could have done that. I could done without such a geek in school could have just gone somewhere else and been cool for just wanting some of that could really lifted my spirits. Yeah. Have some council. You can mess abate to, you know, when you've got one group of friends who've just inexplicably you're cool with. Confidence with them for some reason you go to. On on the loser. Again, I'm the one who gets one. I was showing I was thanking interesting things and I'm saying the same stuff. Then rejected. I, I need to find more friends. You'd like me. The I wish we'd, I camps. They sound fun, they did. You grow them, is it? Do you get to point where I got in trouble. What was I was the final straw there was you wear the sky? Yeah, sort of I was hit a canteen. And the way we filled out the canteen what you wanted, which is like popsicles and candy and soda, and you fill out a breakfast and then at launch or right after launch, they would bring your stuff or you go and collect it. They would get along order your bunks time to go. All right. And that have like two popsicles Snickers bar, whatever. I knew how to whatever money you had in there and you could like slowly use it up and there were tell you how much you had left. So towards the end, I was really excited about using every dollar getting it because if let's candy fifty, five cents, you're down to seventy cents. You're fucked. You're gonna have leftover. So you got a plan like what? Sixty cents fifty planet out ahead of time. You know, get get an even get skills. Yeah, thank you. And for Jewish kid, who was like, I was excelling, really? Yeah, I got in a little trouble for like starting fires. Okay. That sounds serious. Well, yeah, there's, no, there's no. Okay. So you know the thing you do in bunks we'd take Lysol and you'd like that that up like a flame for thing? Yeah. Yeah. You ever do that your name? Our wall. I would never do that. But yeah, I never you saw people do it right curves on a wall, the new light and just like lights, fire your name on the wall. Very. So they call me on that and they're like, what are you a fucking pyro also called deny it was it says, Arie on the wool. This, I don't know. And they're like, are you a pyro? What's pyromaniac and what does that mean? Like someone who likes to play with fire. Oh, yeah, I've never heard it described so well pyromaniac. That's. Maybe a good word to write in cursive on a wall. But anyway, I got to the final end. I got every last penny like paid to the next day. They're like, here's the homeless. The canteen lists and I just wrote in the boxes checked off like I want this. I just wrote down the line f. u. c. k. fuck you, bitch. But I, I mean, tain that I was writing that to the canteen and not to any specific person. Nice Pacific bitch. Yeah, but the lady, the bitch who read it fortunate was a bit really what it was a guy. I. Yeah, he wouldn't have seen him now. And so what the fuck you write this?.
