So false fear looking foolish came first and it was the first recipe to even get started where it was something that we talked about and it's a hard thing you can't imagine it happens but for me in a wheelchair and being paralyzed has. Very many options when I did start wanting to get an education and even started spinning even more time alone. It was a scary thought for friends and family 'cause. They saw me unless you know. "Forth and some pushback from the F O P and police officers unions on saying Hey, We want accountability, but we still want to make sure that officers could do their job. Yes, of course on everybody wants them to be able to do their job in terms ofthe making the public safe and serving the entire communities. Nobody likes the idea of getting sue. But the fact is that over time and you know, look at the last 50 years. Uh, it's sad to say, but police departments have not done a good job overall, at being accountable to the public or at holding their own officers accountable. Um they're they're structures for this are have proven to be rather weak and they can to investigate themselves and excuse themselves in the vast majority of cases not to say we don't have very good police officers. We often do. But the problem is that the public perception and reality it seems to me that they're never wrong and that if that, if that's the case, people are going to look for relief in other ways such a federal court. We want police to be able to do their jobs. But they also have to be responsible in the sense that they hold the five or 10% that called 90% of the problems within that department. They hold those people accountable to their own standards and policy. And they have done a poor job at that. In fact, the unions and I'm a supporter of unions, even for public unions, the unions have gone a long way to protect the worst actors on DH that has not been a good thing for police for in the public. And we'll have more with my old law Professor talking criminal justice reform disobey it, listening.

"In Indiana per our friends at the F. O. P. the fraternal order of police in D. has the highest number of offenders in the nation on monitored release like the ankle bracelet sure like that we're number one night ge number one and number one an ankle bracelets ready for more good news many agencies releasing these people have no idea whether at right now no let's that's troubling that is S. that is not ideal but it's not ideal especially when you're seeing all the crime like I said they're not showing up to their their meetings with our with the the probation officers and stuff like that they're not showing up for those meetings are not taking the required drug tests they're actually just dawn I don't know they removed the the monitoring device have gotten it all somehow but Indy number one in the nation on offenders monitor release and we don't know where a lot of them around you know I'll be the first to admit I have some friends maybe you could call them acquaintances the monitored from time to time maybe a year's probation here and there sure Nigel friends in low places you know not able to let's just say now I to consume alcohol for entire year got it right the house kinds of of things they're guilty of that led to not being able to consume for a year are they never got checked on once they never had tested once they never got a knock on their door and I just say I know multiple people that way so this makes perfect sense that does that doesn't surprise me I mean I don't know like I'm probably count on one hand people that I know that have been in trouble but never been really checked on right like a surprise visit from a police officer somebody taking blood or urine samples McAfee got tested more times well right right well my buddies a got a trouble for various offenses first day I ever had a fake ID at ball state I got my face he was awesome so we went to the nudie bar I'll never forget this this is the joker's wild up in Muncy T. K. W. know exactly what I'm talking about because there were two two different strip clubs of Muncie yet the joker's wild which was like the hot students you know like the people you actually throw dollar bills at that across the street was like the Muncie county moms of the dream so we wanted the joker's wild pay the cover to get in and the first check I saw on the stage at an ankle bracelet monitor on it you know she's done for good time then yeah she was dancing to Buck cherry's crazy witches that monitor on and I can imagine I am and I'm still in the Muncy is is big enough to be able to service enough people that there there was a need for a second gentleman's club yeah no I don't think either one of them are there any more I don't know if either one of them are still standing but you got to keep this in mind Munsey's a bizarre set up because on one side you've got like trailer park homes people from Yorktown the ten counties then the other side literally the other side of town it's like very Irvine Muncie central so they all meet together in the middle of ball state so I'm a little bit country I'm a little bit rock and roll you pick your strip club all pick mine all I've got to more fascinating news about Indiana you're ready yeah we're number one in something else Hoosiers be proud in addition to the rising crime Indianapolis we are now number one in S. T. D.'s per capita so glad way to go guys we are ahead of New York City and Washington DC Indianapolis per capita STDs that's a name in addition to the rising crime rising in sexually transmitted diseases right I am impressed I'm going round candle Kendall all real quick go since we're talking not indeed being the best TKA Dublin it's a mood music well you or Mrs knowledge like the musicals like Hamilton and things like that I'm sure Mrs night would love to go see Hamilton don't do it we haven't been the in the theater lately Smith show here and there of the past decade but nothing like Hamilton.

"Peter found out about with the flopping C. F. O. added it was mystifying I mentioned a few moments ago about Beverly that being basically the only flop or who was been fined and only maybe one flopping so far in the NBA you don't see it like use to see it almost in every single game what is many guys doing it is possible to draw a charge in the league for everyone knew from flopping but you have to think and feel and imagine that the the league was very indifferent and not going to do anything about flopping because it does have favored the offense of player and harden all the time leaning in with no contact at all would draw from three point territory I got a four point play he would make out of that ball anyway neither here nor there but here's why we were not seeing as much with the flopping anymore because in the playoffs the foot one now in the playoffs the fines go up where Beverly was fined five thousand dollars for a game in November now in the playoffs finds go up for the first offense is five grand okay same as regular season second as turn grants a third offenses fifteen grand the fourth the fence is thirty grand and if it's five or more times a with the the flop pain and a possible suspension I mean mall of most of the money here is like nothing but the NBA per and now finally has these kinds of fines but I think the I mean to a player making millions of Bucks a couple thousand dollars in good imagine but in the playoffs they have these rules and I don't I don't that Peter is this also for the regular season because Beverly was front and we just don't see much of the flopping anymore now guys like manager nobly who was famous for them flopping bloody diva AJ I mean that the couple real and harden I mean let's face it already what the master allusion as with the beard and nicer job in the way they all should fifty here get you fifty points harden during the regular season take thirty thirty five shots whatever it is and then not show up in the playoffs the beard Stephen is calling from Milford and Stephen you're on a family it's going on thank you for the call thanks for the help that the alcohol and same to you for sure always always a pleasure call your show I got a couple points out one of them okay I want to say the log opening go with one hundred percent correct that you waited that this will make it out there for final year sure enough yeah it does it's ridiculous every bad player that has to get the very last night they go off there not hospital year but again the contract price goes up I think it was really nice out the match Rabal to work out an agreement with them you talk back on some of that money that we always because that was just ridiculous I am all that I know absolutely and we and we don't even know I mean obviously the Mets won the II agree events and they had every right to first of all we don't even know I mean they they won the grievance because with that with the stepping in the hole on his farm in Florida and that way it was and the Mets won the grievance because that was a non baseball related injury however there is doubt as to whether or not that injury even took place yeah I mean it saying that there really isn't saying out of these athletes get buttered up but another question I had a question for you even ever and then you can hang up and and all of okay we we we don't believe anything that comes out of the will on now other calls me call in saying I really don't believe in so I actually see the ink dried up on the papers and official I haven't heard anything new as they would came out I know that your radio wind blew up that day sure came early how to cook a morally everybody liked about the be all but we haven't heard anything new says that and my last question for you is you can answer that and the last question would be thank the masters even though they got that salary reduce for ya and it's that this thing you'll see bald eagle wagon who became of both probably a great you have almost completely awful but anyway since he will pond for birdie wagon is making any other moves this offseason I mean they got out of the bullpen arm that's for sure they can't rely on you guys they got they don't have great we are a and then also are they going you were going to get coming back if things going to hit the number of almost about a third do you think will still go out and try to find somebody center field position because you can't you cannot count on that until they got you just another one yeah well you're you're talking about yeah you're talking of course about Jake Maria's neck and and this listen they call it of and they could have gone out and tried to get somebody like Kevin Pelor and and okay I'll let you go because I hear with the some of them were you got the radio on in the background but none the less a first of all let me answer or wall Pelor is what had a good year for the giants and I certainly he had twenty one twenty two home runs I remember when we were talking about center fielders marred today of course is the with the pirates I'm just saying they go on the cheap and and and would have cost more if you got the pirates center fielder it would have cost more I guess certainly soul if they had gone and signed and going after Pelor but they went inside more Iznik cool as you said a is really you know maybe a little bit better hitter than Wanli Garris and he's also Maria's make a good defensive player for Houston late inning any defensive replacement not a kid or at a wall I mean I I think he had for he wasn't involved in the treating apparently got mixed up with the banging of with the garbage cans the one that was supposed to be a knock with three times on the garbage can for a fastball he was thinking all street what does it so the my only had about two thirty minutes not enter I would have Syndergaard or to Goron batting number eight in Maria's Nick batting number nine and what would probably see that but the bottom line is that they go on the tree band of and with the with Steve Colin and I and eight yeah I've heard anywhere that he's already been a man not a minority owner anywhere from four percent to twenty percent but the deal and that will but the reason I think it's going to happen even if they haven't signed anything at the moment is because the well bonds need the money and I think the first money that is going to be spread by Steve cone is to get the.

"Visas of this civilization ages created, get there, you know, and some stories around it. So now it's, it's, it's it's something I've struggled with immensely in my life is is why people are so beholden to these stories. And I mean, I was recently on Twitter and I saw this clip it went viral girl who was in a wheelchair and it was like hundreds of people standing around him, shouldn't around her chanting in this magical priest and puts his hand on and and all of a sudden like she stands up and she walks and takes couple of steps like like the undertaker. She just takes all running a wheelchair. Like I am, but like this is that's that's why I'm so it. It annoys me because they, they, they prey on people's vulnerability. Absolutely. And then they there and people are. So just this is vulnerable. People are hurting and they're like, they're just trying to cling to anything that gives them hope, and that's, that's, that's the thing that's the thing about it. I used to tell my buddies when I was in college. That's why I don't like about religion. They're here selling hope like little Baggies of of. Man, how did you grow up? Because I'm hearing, did you grow up in a religious environment, air pairing, not as. I grew up Muslim, so my father father was Muslim. But like f. o. y. like Farrakhan. Yes. So that's that's how I grew up. So I had to know the bible had to know the Koran. And so I remember one time I father, there's Jove's win is knocked on the door and and he invited him in and had three hour conversation. This kind of stuff around, right. But after a while. Seen a lot of inconsistencies with what my father was doing and all the brothers from the nation of Islam we're doing and the way that the two women, I was like, this ain't really, but I still believe in a higher power. And then as I kind of walk mown path, even more and more that started started peel back those layers and start to not make any sense to me either. And so I'm not like a picketing atheists where like, you know, I I'm not gonna like, I don't think I'll go to rallies and stuff, but. I think I think I just am enquiring human being that that doesn't try to live life by anything that seems irrational. I think the more rational you are the more productive you'll be. Yeah, that's basically it. I'm noticing that too more atheists. I mean, and I don't like to put a name on it. 'cause it's like you're labeled a box. It comes with baggage, but I think the higher you go in education, the more. Atheist ideas are saying because people is long as people are not educated in by -cation. I don't mean academia or how many degrees you have, but just seeing the world traveling reading, actually experiencing going to a museum or going to different. Arenas where you can be forced to questions some of the things that you've always been told.
