"Oh lou lou Lou the devil one lucifer. He's named lucifer. His name is lucifer lindsay. his has suffer. I have to say is oh lee. Deranged that's like naming your kid hazo. Bub i'm sure and i think the reason it's sort of like reclaiming lucifer from it's like demonic connotations in roman folklore lucifer was the name of the planet venus the figure was pulling a drought exactly and then in latin lucifer means light bringer. See i get i understand. That definitely had not the devil origins but lucifer is very commonly associated with the devil. I'm not trying to be like little puritan goody weber over here good. I do think it is a little bit alarming to name. Your kids lucifer. and no wonder he goes by luke exactly so he goes by luke. He's the lead of five sauce. He's the only five suss person whose name kind of ring a bell for me. Even though i heard about the last week what about the one who had the pictures from last week member he had new hair. Ocala voter whatever. Yeah he's also wanna think doing spells. Okay he is now engaged to this. Woman sierra deaton and they just get engaged. It's getting a lot of press everywhere. No just just jared nitrous gesture. Junior tiger beat page six page. Six is writing about it. I really liked to read about it. We can't let someone have a win. The so it's as hemmings is five sauce. Bandmate michael clifford made things official with his own girlfriend crystal leeann january twenty one thousand nine which was like two years ago. Where you bringing this up. This was considerably happier news. June two in two thousand twenty when clifford was moved to apologize. After old offensive tweets has resurfaced. And it's like page six like can't let anyone having on even the same guy. There's really very little drama here. But i was a coup or adidas here deaton as the caller said was part of her own thing. Sorry do a little manipulated that we've talked about five sauce twice in one week that it feels like we're promoting some new single that's like on the horizon that we don't even really know about you know we're doing their dirty work. I had the same spidey sense moment so it was like. When was their last album. Their last album did come out last year. So it's not like it's been so long since their music and their music is doing really well still so it's not like it's not like they're in need of attention they're in need. I do think this is actually genuine and not pr. Weirdly like okay. I'm not gonna take the cynical read of it. okay allison. Sierra were the winners of the last season of the x factor us us the us version of the x factor They made music together. They were in love and then they broke up after a couple years of making music together and they were like. Let's keep making music together. And then they were like this sucks. We can't keep making music together when we hate each other and she said as much as an interview and billboard where she said. How was the decision made to end alex and sierra. Nco says it's pretty hard. We tried for a while. But then alex released a song with one of our old friends without telling me i was like okay. Well there's probably no hope anymore. I was like i'm out. i'm done. We weren't going to sit there and fake a relationship pretend to be happy. We couldn't even be friends so she gave up on. Alex started her own single thing called. Se joanna and then she met lucas on point. So this is my sort of roundabout way of saying look. We're belt loop talking about sierra. They're together great but five sauce has had a controversial because apparently they sound like americans and australians matt i. I didn't know that they were australian. So that says a lot. I guess although i really that's what they really want you to think lindsay. They don't want you to know their australian. Is their big song. Like standing.

"I'm happy to talk about this again. I'm happy to cause. Clearly i've talked about. We talked about the candy guy already to and someone. Our friends even was like you've taught cry. You've talked about this guy already do. Yeah well. I did it. Which says a lot so the arenas cannon. She's the medlar queen if you saw the medlar thousand times like we did which by the way the medlar is on net flicks amazon one of them. The meddler is streaming recently started streaming. So if you haven't seen the medlar it's lawrence ghaffari is greatest movie. Well she's got a lot of great she direct. We were big fans of the medlar and then she went onto frigging direct hustlers that we call a one two punch. We'll have to say standing. Always pay off like usually. Don't get the bang for your buck in terms of lying. You're like This person underdog or lesser known. I choose to stand. They are might there my guy you know whatever but we were like laurien rules. The meddlers one of the best movies of the year and then very soon after she did the hustler. I mean ostler's the hustle. That's like really satisfied. Gotta say thank totally. Yeah and also. If you're a true conspiracy theorist you know that these two have been together for a long time and you might suspect that lorena had a little hand in creating eighth grade. 'cause you're like. How did marie this incredible movie about an eighth grade girl. Wow when for a grown man to do my wonder who could have. Maybe helped him. I wonder he could've creative pencils screenwriter and director. I don't. I don't know i'm not saying that. Strew experienced eighth grade as a young girl. And who's just like one of the most talented people out there working. I don't know. I don't know i don't know. And also adam brody if you watch the mettler you'll realize that the medlar which is probably maybe perhaps pseudo autobiographical versus playing lorene safari type. Who is getting over. The breakup between herself and a famous actor played by i think. Isn't it like jason ritter. Yep playing an adam brody type anyway. All these things will be clear to you if you watch them which is now streaming on netflixif. This is not an ad for the medlar or netflix. It's just a reminder that we've talked about this before but it's nice because now it's like you really think both lauren and bo are really. They really do have a lot in common in terms of like their creative output. I mean he's out here doing like release sincere earnest autobiographical work. She also put out a whole movie that is essentially assira in earnest autobiographical work clearly. These to have a lot in common. I watched part of his special a half to say. It's not for me. I really want to be honest. I he liked it not for me not a lot lot of songs you can tell this guy gotta start on youtube and i know he's a beings early youtube or to a lot of people go way back with him which i think is so fascinating because he really like broke through. It's hard to do in a really way. we're in a way that is now fully respected critically. 'cause eighth grade was such a such a great movie and this special is really interesting. You know that's the thing about his role in promising and woman that i think is right. Oh and very smart. Pdf piece of casting. Because he's definitely that type who seems too good to be true where you're constantly waiting for the other up and i think he must be very aware of that. That's what makes character work play. Also think maybe that's his he's got that like almost unintentional almost like genetic good guy vibe even though a little john mullany if you ask me like where it's like their stuff lurking but if you were just to see him from the from the front you might not assume like. He's very good red herring in terms of like that type of thing. It's funny that you know who's also in promising young women. Adam road adam. Brody is one of the skis guys from the beginning. Who you kind of know immediately is gonna turn because if you recall in the in the opening scene of promising young woman. There's these like shitty guys and he's kind of like i'm the good one i'm gonna take her home in life. He's like absolutely not i know. Because that's adam brody and he's definitely gonna turn league thing and he does and that's interesting. That's an interesting connection that's spoiler that's like the theses of promising a woman. There are all the bad one thing. They're all that one. And i think is special is like light it's like music and its lighthearted but it's also very very very dark and that's i kind of think what he's not like his own mental health. It's about like the sadness of solitude at the. I mean i've only watched you watched half of it. I've watched like twenty minutes of it. I was like i read a. I read a review of it and i was interested in kind of like what people were loving about it and it was like oh i totally understand what struck people. It's like songs that are at at the from the front. A ken nice cheery funny songs but actually about like really dark. Thanks i feel like i would have watched. The whole thing had to come out like right in the deep end of the pandemic moving on a little bit right and so it's sort of like getting break. Things are looking good me and my friends and my family are vaccinated like to return to this. I get it. A lot of people are interested in work that reflects upon the last year and a lot. Some people might say you know. I'm trying to move on. And maybe i need a little time before i engage with work that we're clear i could. I could see myself engaging with this in a few months sure totally. I feel the same way about everything about film theatre right like. I'm not interested in seeing theater. No matter how good it is about the last year yet. Because i simply don't think i have enough space for meant to even Consumed that critically and in any sort of way. That's unbiased or or able to receive and so that's just your own perspective highlands theme bobby longtime longtime. I'm calling you know that. Luke hemmings of five seconds of summer just got engaged to sierra deaton who is famous from the musical group alex and sierra from the x factor but like when they were on the show they were dating and i think they got married and i had no i mean i knew that they broke up and i had no idea that luke hemmings and sierra dating. I'm looking for a time line of that relationship crunch crunch. Good form bella. Thorne scar joe. Yummy top you know that the l. I i'm going to answer this question. Because i knew this going into it but because i looked up after the call because i was like maybe there is something interesting about the lead of five sauce. Luke hemmings do you know what look stands for in this particular instance lucas. No well you shook me when. I clicked on his wikipedia. No i know. That's my thought to get to more guesses. Because i know it's going to be one of them. Is it like something. I could guess like a luke is in there. Oh it's in there. But i've never heard this as a nickname. Look what else would luke. What are their name. What's the name that begins with. Lsu.

"For things like critical race theory, teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other. Is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money. Gotta love him. By the way, Suarez not almost SWAT. Somebody said that once before city very much deep. That's deep right there. Hey, listen, just listen to run to Santa's follow up on the criticism of what he said. About not teaching critical race theories in the Florida public school. Absolutely welcome it because I don't want our curriculum to be politicized. It's not about smuggling in your political agenda. It's about teaching Floridians Florida's youth, the foundational principles of our country, teaching them about some of the great folks throughout American history, but not to try to pit Some Americans against the other and not to run down our country. We're not going to use taxpayer dollars to do that in the state of Florida. No, of course not. I mean it. Zlatan ISI. It's suicide is what it is. It's so insidious, so nefarious and and it's inaccurate. It's not true. Yeah, So anyway looks, uh, I talked to Rich Lowry about the Americans getting humiliated in Alaska. They did. There was a meeting Last week, Our secretary of state sat there. Ah, with the Chinese equivalent of the Secretary of state. He was supposed to speak for two minutes. He spoke for 15 minutes, and he just lectured and just admonished. Our guy Blinken. But before I get to that, let me just go back to Ah, our understandings and China. It ties into China. Uh, last week, I saw this actually on Tucker, he says the Chinese have a word for guilty white liberals. I saw this. It's by zoom. I saw this right on. And now this was written in Chinese state media and something called the Global Times. By a guy named Chen Genzyme and he says this This is what's happening in America, he writes. There are people who only care about topics such as immigration, minorities, LGBT and the environment who have no sense of the real problems in the real world. On Lee Advocate for peace and equality to satisfy their own feelings of moral superiority in or if so obsessed with political correctness that they tolerate, tolerate. Excuse me backward Islamic values. For the sake of multiculturalism. That was, I mean, bingo. They advocate inclusiveness and anti discrimination but cannot tolerate different opinions. They're so shallow that they tend to maintain social equality by embracing ideologies that run against the basic concept of equality. Wow. Of course he's talking about critical race there and and in mentioned in Alaska yesterday that through a translator, this was the secretary of state lecturing our secretary of state. This guy, Anthony Blinken. Listen to this. Many people within the United States actually have little confidence in the democracy of the United States. And they have various views regarding the government of the United States, so that no confidence in the democracy she's right about. He's right about that exactly right. But anyway, they continued, Listen. There are many problems within the United States regarding human rights on the challenges facing the United States in human rights are deep seated. They did not just emerged over the past four years, such as black lives matter. It did not come up only recently. So they have a member Joe Biden, by the way, said that the concentration camps of the Wickers is a cultural thing. It's just a cultural thing, and so does blank and sat there and he just said nothing. He actually he responded. He said that that's not what I'm here and listen. I have to tell you what I'm hearing. Is very different from what you described. I'm hearing deep satisfaction. The United States is back back. You pointed out a few trying Chinese transgressions, none of them none of them that the Chinese the Communist Chinese Party perpetrated a war crime on the globe by passing along this China virus, essentially biological warfare. Is what they did to the to the globe. He never mentioned that to the Chinese not going to after getting lectured to by this guy who runs again Chinese concentration camps and human rights abuses and blood, Bob all kinds of slave labor, all kinds of things. "Emmy for that role and certainly was and maybe get a new career have a different and the next couple of weeks I was offered a role in the Ritz on Broadway with that Rita Moreno and Jack Weston F. Murray Abraham my dear pal and the show opens and that becomes a hit and I'll be damned if something we say Hey there's more to our lives and just doing the act is so at at we had the best of everything that we could send the kids off to school New York one of us will always be with with them or the two of us with them and it worked out that we were able to the act later too thank you you told us before that your father did not want you to become an actor so when you found out that your son Ben Stiller wanted to go into show business himself what was your reaction I had a kind of a knot in my stomach because van was could name all parts of the body in Latin when he was going to let little in junior high school and Amy was also kind of like caught up in this kind of and I guess this academic year but what happened was both of them decided that one point that they were gonna do it bankrupt out after nine months he said it's in school doesn't give me what I thought I wanted I wanted the film director and he said I'm going to go and become an actor and B. is that a person of my own I suspend if you do if you quit school I'm gonna keep a really going to check your blood I don't use those words but he said that you trust me I will do it on my own and would you believe for two years he went to classes in New York he studied he cleared up his skin which is full of acne he he went to the gym he lost weight he became an actor and he eventually tried out for the house of blue leaves for John where he was at the party with who's appeared on Broadway I used to come down so they can see him in the second act went crazy watching him I loved it he went nuts every time he got applause I just think it's a great my kids doing great meantime Amy's working down at the thirteenth street Playhouse off Broadway in the little isn't some kind of a little red riding hood thing and I got down taking movies of hearts so I was thrilled watching both of them go into it but every time they came home and said you know I don't get this I didn't get that I went nuts yeah Jerry Stiller thank you so much for talking with us thank you and you're very kind that was the late Jerry Stiller speaking with Terry gross in nineteen ninety three Stiller and Meara's kids Amy and Ben have gone on to their own successful careers in comedy and acting Ben Stiller also became a filmmaker in twenty ten Terry talked to him about zoo lander a comedy which band had written and directed he played the title role but also wrote a role for his father Ben Stiller played zoo lander a dim witted male model and Jerry Stiller was his age I want to play a short scene and this is as a scene with your father Jerry Stiller and etcetera in in in your father plays Maury Boston head of balls models right and this is a modeling agent model agency that helped build build with the male male modeling agency male modeling agency yeah so at this point in the movie your character dared to lender wants to take a break from from the fashion world and so here's your here's you with your father Jerry Stiller in a scene from Salander I want to do something meaningful with my life Maury I deeper thoughts on my mind the other day I was thinking about volunteering to help teach underprivileged children to learn how to read and just thinking about it was the most rewarding experience I've ever had I don't think you could offer the kind of thing I mean maybe I could even have my own institute we could call it the Derek Salander center for kids who can't read good what about us we built this place together look at this is Laurie when I met you you were a junior potato couldn't book a god damn shoes catalog and who couldn't turn left to say this is not look at you I can't turn left yeah right Derek please some bail bonds go left at the end of the runway others go right you got a lot of gifts but hiking alone we just isn't one of them it was a given you such pleasure to to say okay and I'm going to write a roll from my father and direct imminent yeah I mean that's I was laughing listening to that just because he's just so versatile that character mori is so far afield from my my dad's actual personality in terms of like you know ever squeezing squeezing into the tissue of a lady I don't expect them during that but that was it was fun was getting him into those situations in any you know he really goes goes with it and goes for it and it was it's great I'm I'm so I'm really happy I'm kinda looking forward to Sunday my kids being able to see their grandfather in that movie it because he's just he's awesome what was it like for you when your father was a co starring on Seinfeld and everybody was watching the show well you know it really changed his life I mean he you know for years and years my parents you know were successful as a comedy team and you know to the ed Sullivan show I think over thirty times and night clubs and TV shows and all that and they and they you know did really really well but then I think when Seinfeld happened for my dad it just changed people's perception of him to reach so many people and I was really very very happy to see that for him because it is really deserving of as I think my mom is too so you know and and and I think it's it for him you know he thrives on work if he loves to work it keeps on going and then you know out of that came the king of queens for him and people love him he's a naturally funny human being and is incredibly loved from that show and so it's been it was great it was great to see that that was Ben Stiller speaking with Terry gross in twenty ten his mom and Mira died in twenty fifteen at age eighty five Jerry Stiller died this week at the age of ninety two after we take a short break we'll hear Terry's interview with renowned cellist Lynn Harrell who died last month and I'll review a new Hulu comedy mini series about the rise of Catherine the great I'm David Bianculli.

"Of comedy night we do it's been nearly new up in Corpus Christi Texas listening to the Metropolitan Opera broadcasts in staging operas in the garage he moved to New York to study journalism at Columbia but spent much of his time going to Broadway shows he told an interviewer at the Newseum when the lights go down and the curtain goes up how can you not get a rush I mean you can not be human so he began writing plays while in a relationship with another playwright Edward Albee but where is all the was closeted McNally was out he had his hits and flops over the years and while he used aspects of his own life in his work he told PBS my goal is a writer became to write in my own voice and defining kind of simplicity that was about the character not about me whether the characters were gay or straight when he wanted to do was present them with complexity and compassion like can make now he's most produced work Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de lune it was about a short order cook in a waitress who hook up for a one night stand but you're in for something deeper F. Murray Abraham starred in the original off Broadway production with Kathy Bates I want to kill myself sometimes when I think that I'm the only person in the world and that part of me that feels that way is trapped inside this body and only bumps into other bodies without ever connecting to the only other person in the world trapped inside of them we have to connect we just have to and for making alley it was always about connection I love it when I remember either changes hearts that seek which twice we all truly live and he loved collaborating with the same actors directors and theaters over and over again Terrence McNally.

"My way out you know, that's doing. You ain't got semi Nostra. Here we go. Just for just blowing in a Ma doesn't mean we involve I just I just put a rigid on a card I play a bomb, but. Kissed. Morning everybody. Everybody's DJ envy. Angela Charlemagne guy. We are the breakfast club. We have Djamil he'll still in the building Charlemagne. So you're getting that Russell Turner because it referred to the player kings clean the what was that about? So so this coach I mean, a lot of people we've we've obviously had a lot of conversation about coaches and every hey mature players Tom Izzo. You know, the way that he interacted I think he was a freshman. Aaron Henry that became a big story. And I covered time is over six years and known him for longer than that. And what people don't understand is that time is always okay with his players coming back him. I witness him invitation Cleese been mini argument on the sideline him is at Randolph, many argument and him Draymond green. Same thing that he respects players their fire back on him. So he's okay with that with this coach the reason I thought this was like really agreed. This is an admittedly. I'm more sensitive to it just because I'm a woman, but it seems like it's sports would ever. Coaches want to motivate. Young men. They do it by degrading women you play like a girl like a girl, you cry like a girl you're doing this like a girl. And it's like why we why do we always have to be the example of weakness, not get that men are physically stronger than women. I understand that part of it. But even when it comes to mental toughness and last night. Check women were was out here having babies, right? Pulling very large human beings out of places and crevices that know. We will talk about here. So women are tough. And so for just even what we were stay every day in society. And so for that to be your go-to insult, you know, it just I just thought it wasn't befitting of a coach on top of the fact, why are you talking to somebody else's players? Anyway, that's a real big. No, no, you, you know, so heckling somebody else's players or even having any conversation with them at all. So I just thought it was a bad look for their coach. Like a girl living like an insult though. Because. So fundamentally sound. Like a woman do. Mentally sound. Tim Duncan is the Bank shot king. Fundamental. So you like, you know, you can use it as a compliment. But I just rarely hear it said that way that's not what he meant. That way. Like, I think it was in like a lot of rap songs. I've heard this of hip hop songs when they say like, you know, Jill jealousy pettiness. That's a female. Yeah. We get how do we get the characteristics of being the only petty, and, you know, jealous vase or whatever. So it's just that that stuff is it really grabs my gears doing guy. I enjoy. Why would I? Joy. Right. Well. On unbothered. So I'm I mean, well, you can look forward to more me there. There's that part of it. But great conversations I got to amazing host which will announce later today, and we hope to have great jazz factum putting Charlemagne in the hot seat. So. He'll he'll be a guest on on a bothered. So we just a lot of the things that you know, you guys observed a lot of things people are talking about, you know, we want to bring that to the podcast environment. And you know, people know my personality, you may see how I am on social media. And so you'll you'll get that, you know, some spicy hot takes you'll get that as well. And so we're going to cover the gamut of sports news politics. Pop culture, all those things just hopefully, create an environment. That's like a hang, you know, you guys have created a, hey, where people feel like, you know, even though it's very early in the morning. I'm I'm at the bar with some of my best friends, and we know we're discussing some life issues but yelling at each other. But it's all communal, and you know, they did today. Everybody walks away with a good feeling so I hope to to recreate something new year rhetoric caused you get a lot of threats do caused a lot of controversy. I don't think you'll get to a point where it's no longer risk. No, I don't think. So I think if you have a truth to tell if if you have something that is like really seeped into your spirit that you have every right to expose in detail that truth and a lot of the things I say, and I bet you're probably at this point to is that I'm so shocked at what people think is controversial I feel like I don't even say anything all that. Controversial all the next thing. I know because I can always tell when Breitbart writes about me about the way nobody from Breitbart will ever be on the podcasts or Fox News. So there you got to add to the list. But now, it's just whenever I say something I'm just shocked at what people considered considered to be controversial. I was you know, we were talking about the electoral college on Twitter that conversation was going. And I said, well, you know, part of the reason the electoral college exists it was to preserve slavery. I thought literally everybody knows that it's been written about. A billion times. Historians constitutional experts have all written this, and yet it was blocked post after bog post of me saying this about slavery. And you know, whenever you invoke anything about slavery is just controversy. So I guess, you know, for me, it just I don't really care about the controversies at create because most of the things that people consider to be controversial. I consider to be saying, hey, this iphone court white. It's like, oh, okay. I thought everybody literally. Always didn't think was going to call. Problems. We're gonna call problems if you like. Let me just not even write anything. I wanna say staff, and I'm like, you know, what they're gonna misinterpret. What I'm saying? Let me just not even bother. It's not even worth it. I mean, like I do because I'm just like this is just going to be stupid because people that's the one downside of Twitter's. I does not allow for a certain amount of of amount to be context. A certain amount of context, you know, to be had. I mean thought probably the most controversial thing I've ever said that Scarface is a trash movie. Right. Oh my God. Yeah. But everybody loves Scarface 'cause you have when you look at the list of actors that are in it. You know, you got Michelle Pfeiffer, Al Pacino. I mean, it's just any f Murray Abraham is an incredible collection of actors if I told you this list of actors is in a movie about a drug dealer trying to make his way out of Miami. Even though he loved with his sister any worse. Yakking at meet fight me. Whatever you will. So if I told you what the movie was about who was in it, you say this movie is going to be outstanding. But you watch it. And I just have always thought that movie. Yes. Every Blackwood movies better than us coffees. So anyway, that's gotta leave. They've been tapped me. Hottest takes right there. Thank you. Launches April.

"To sort of crush, everything that hiccup represents applying real pressure to not only hiccups security blanket as it were with toothless. But to the overall I'd audiology that he's been bringing into. Existence just to to wrap things up very quickly. Have you let go of hiccup and toothless is is this definitely the envy, you you're gonna have the hankering in a few years. And what are you going onto next? It is the end for me because I really wanted to see it through to the to a finite end. And I'm proud of that it feels like a feather in the cap of everyone who worked on these movies, well, three hundred plus of us, so I'm really happy to be ending this decade on a high note, and I'm very excited about whatever's next. I hope it's as engaging and exciting and challenging is what we took on for the last ten years. But but I'm happy to set it aside. I'm happy to say goodbye to it. Well, thank you very much teens it, blah. Thank you. Thanks so much. Okay. Okay. So that So was. that was to blah, and we're going to start the review section with how to twenty dragon the hidden world. Helen as a fan of this franchise, something I am not I have to say didn't like the first one. And if I'm completely honest, I didn't really pay much attention to rest of it after that. So what what's your taking this? It will be a dry eye in the house or a hiccup in the franchise. No on the I'm not I ask because I'm so invested in the relationship between hiccup whose job our shells sort of Viking boy and his dragon toothless at that. I I I am a sucker for them, basically. So this film, their island of Burke is now a dragon haven. There's dragons everywhere, maybe too, many dragons to be honest, it's all about but the hunt one hundred grim l- who's voiced by f Murray Abraham turns up basically threatens to disrupt the peace to to enslave the dragons for himself and destroy this kind of it'll that the hiccup is built. So then it becomes a question of how do we? Save our dragons, essentially, the problem for me with this film is there's a low of there's a lot going on. There's a lot of characters. There's a lot of the sort of the comic relief characters get in their own little arcs. An I don't care about any of them. I just want to film about hey Cup until I am so unreasonably devoted to them relationship that that's all I wanna do. And I only see don't understand you that you didn't love the first film because that's basically what that's all about. Because that's just one of the most glorious pieces of automation on storytelling character work. I've seen in in years. So yes, so funny. This film is is time for me to you. You you you were mayor. But now, I am the mayor of this podcast met U2.'s are men. I say, no, I so for this one I think all of the distraction kind of is fine. I mean, there's interesting stuff going on the animation remained beautiful and everything else. I mean, this is the French has has Roger. Ican zone, coal is consultant. So obviously, it looks gorgeous. But at the same time, I just want to see hiccup into list. And so the end of the film work comes back just to them. I find enormously effective and on basically, bold. My is of course. But everything else I was about like, I mean, come on. I'm in complete agreement with Helen, I really like Australia tracking. I really like how train you're going to think the issue of this is Helen says it's too much focus on people. You just care about. I think the two twins. What are they rough not tough not deeply providing don't need them to have more screen time. Thanks very much, and there wasn't enough to and then wasn't enough of them together. Particularly miss those kind of Virginis flight scenes that was so effective in the first two and a little bit absent hit. I think it's a little bit muddle the story kind of meanders alive at the place at touch and doesn't seem to go anywhere exciting. It lacks really good finale as well. You know, I quite enjoyed grim about was distracted slightly that it sounded like f Murray Abraham, but. Looked alarmingly like here in Heinz..

"She was doing ages enough, and she had been sort of a mentor, and a friend and teacher in New York. She was staying at the Chateau Mont. I didn't. I'd never been here. I had no idea anything was had to do with film or anything. So she said, oh, yeah. Come on. I'll get your room at the Chateau. She got the bungalow. John Belushi lived. Which I didn't know till later, but and on the plane, I got a fever blister. The size of a basketball on my upper lip. I'm not joking swelling. Like, I've never before since seen anything like my whole loop was like this. I couldn't fairly stress-induced induced stress. Restress aggravation fear. And I'm and once they start it's really I mean, I don't know if anybody if you guys get fever blisters, but it's the worst ever and it's a virus. But I know people who do and you can't you can't there's no shortcut. There's no nothing like you have to live with me until I live here on your look for. And I'm telling you, I ended up having to have like a gamma globulin. I mean, it was giant. It was like a quadruple blister. So here I am with the Remond. Remond said it was a character choice McCarrick. Well, kind. The next morning. I most called the taxi cab forty times to make sure they were going to be on time. I walk in those gates paramount which I felt like I was in dreaming. I'd never had. I knew what they looked like from pictures. But I had no idea what that felt like and I walked in. I went to Jackson office, and I walk in and my pictures on his bulletin board. And he's got his head down looking at my resume. And then he looks up. He says so what happened to your mouth? Oh, no. I said I didn't really just come out here to meet you swear to God, I was really going to come out here. Anyway. Just started babbling, and he was he's he's a very special human being he really is. He's that guy and he just carry on. And then he said, we'll I'm really glad to meet you. And I'm glad you came. And he said this is small roles because Mary Steenburgen already been cast and. Also, he picked her up in a waiting room. She was a waitress and he had her come in and read read with him castor on this on the spot goes. So that's who he is. That guy goes you you come with me. And I was like the mini version of that. And so he said we'll there's four characters therefore spinsters he said, but I could always make one the parasol lady that was all he said, and that was that was the whole meeting. So I walked out. I was I wasn't on this planet. I was just flying. And I figured I would stay for a few days because he didn't say I had the job or anything either. They just said it was really nice to meet you. Thank you for coming in and Betty kind of took me under her wing and. Two days later. I got a call to be on a movie of the week with f Murray Abraham into light. I had no agent here. Anything it was based on tape had brought from New York, Geoffrey Fisher, God rest assault. He's he died. A long time ago. He was a casting director universal. He saw my tape. And he hired the exact same time at the two days after I'd had the meeting Jack. So you were already out here here, I'm here. And I'm like, I got a job. So the other thing is I had no idea. I'd never done television. And it's Jack Arnold was the director who's a very popular and was very kind of famous TV sitcom director, and it was a very cute called sex and the married woman, and I was playing f Murray Abraham's kind of snarky wife. So what do I know from theater?.

Well, there you go the cop with knows Aldo Vecchio, by the way on the on the TV show, but an f Murray Abraham as a celery and Amadeus. We can throw that one either. Neither Murray's he guy. Well, I got Eddie Murray. But that was his last name there you go. So anyway. Yeah. Murray Jamal Murray, he's a nugget since we're trying. Problem for comedy. And then cope took it. Too far. The whole key is the first name Murray trash that whole joke. Excuse me. Guy. You gotta meet at a deli who you mean the deli meat in Murray Murray. Yes. Xactly? I think there's probably a lot of Murray's in Staten Island. Speaking of which isn't Staten Island, more Italian. Yeah. I well. Yeah. I although I shouldn't claim to have a lot of thought now on knowledge, I really don't that's the borough. Like, nobody goes to unless you're born there. You know, from there is Davidson Saturday Night Live, really. Yeah. And Frankie Keno former Oakland day. Great call now, a batting coach for somebody. Who is it? He's hitting coach Indiana in MLB. But anyway, Murry Bartow is the man who stepped in for Steve Alford. And look what happened. He played free. They played easy. They played. Well, they ran Stanford out of the gym and Murray Bartell the interim head coach UCLA, I I'm gonna make this call right now. He's got a real chance to do something. Steve Alford never even sniffed, and that's win a conference time because the pack twelve is so down right now and UCLA has enough talent to do it. Yeah. Dude in Murray Bartlett would be the ultimate blank win the Pac twelve conference. How long's it? Honestly. How long's it been since you've got call in one in his last year? They fired him. What year was thirteen thirteen. You want it? And they fired him. Yeah. You're out. Yeah. Yeah. They did. And he took like a kind of trolling picture of him in the team holding the Pac ten banner on the day gonna raise the play that Gordon that sound worst coach coach UCLA. I still have UCLA. I got this one right here. UCLA anyway, great to see Murray. Welcome Murray to the man, gene, Bartow, legendary coaches succeeded. Jim racking, my brains further Murray's, I'm trying not many now if I have on I'll let you know. All right. There's no Murray's. In the NFL playoffs, but they start. I wanted to hit the Walton thing. Yes. I wanted to get back to that Walton last night in his pure Walton forum, Dave Pasch says among other things Walton called the loss to liberty a stain on the university that will never be removed said so and then pass his old buddy asked him. You know, hey, you're the you're the Bruin expert here who should the next coach at UCLA. What do you think.
