Ricky Martin Files $20 Million Extortion Lawsuit Against Nephew

"We spoke about Ricky Martin's lawsuit and his nephew coming after him about a month ago with this allegations of sex and some kind of affair they had, which is gross to think about. So now Ricky Martin and this all tie into my background and the newspaper and TV show the morning show. Ricky Martin is now saying, you know, he was persecuted, besieged, harassed, stalked, and extorted by this maladjusted person, also known as his nephew. And now he is suing who made these wild accusations against him. Ricky filed a lawsuit the other day against Dennis yadriel Sanchez, who the singer claims is trying to assassinate his reputation. Dennis, yadiel Sanchez, had claimed back in July that he had a 7 month long romance with Ricky Martin and when it ended, Ricky began stalking and harassing him. Something Ricky says his all bullshit, their feud filed a restraining order, but when the heat was on him, he withdrew the whole thing, and everybody said, oh, well, that means that it's all baloney. It was never true. So now Ricky is suing him. Because Ricky claims a month after Dennis withdrew that restraining order, he began sending messages to Ricky through Instagram, threatening to assassinate his reputation as integrity unless he came up with some big dough to shut him up. Ricky Martin says in the lawsuit before Dennis filed for a restraining order, he was publicly telling everybody about being Ricky's nephew, he was bombarding him with messages, sometimes more than ten in a single day for four months straight. And the messages Ricky says were clearly written by a mala adjusted individual. He says that if you just went rogue, posting Ricky's cell phone number on his Instagram. The nephew even, and this is gross. The nephew even made an Instagram account for one of Ricky's children. That's going way too far.

"To keeping in touch with you, sir. Absolutely. Thank you so much. Give us an explosion and let people know that freedom is not free. Thank you so much, my Friends. Freedom is not free. I think you hit it on the head there. And let me just go back here, folks. Let me just go back. I never made a decision to join any of the armed forces, a couple of different reasons. First off, and most importantly, I suppose, from my perspective, is I think violence is a weak form of mental processing. Okay, period. But first and foremost, I am a man of conviction and I will defend myself, and I will certainly defend my country, and I do believe in the Second Amendment. And I do believe in an incredibly strong army, because if you don't defend and protect yourself and you loved ones and you will be invaded. And we are on the doorstep of that happening in the United States. I'm not saying that's within 24 hours, I'm not saying it's been 24 years. I'm going to say it's a century. I don't know if and when that will happen in our lifetimes or whatnot. And then I'm applying anything. Not playing any type of physical altercation either. But continue to say this, the primary reason I did not join, I did not join the marines or the armed forces, it was because I didn't believe in the Iraq War. I believe that was bush's oil war and I didn't believe in it. Now in 2022, like many former and current soldiers, that war is now here on the land we call our country. And Charles said it no better than socialism. This is socialism freedom is not free and socialism is here. Folks. And this is nothing new. This has been a century in the planning and development. So then let me go down to finance wars because if you are going to manipulate a society or a government or a company, the way you manipulate them is financially. John Perkins, the confessions of an economic hitman, he's one of the first guests I had on this program. Speaks about how the CIA does exactly that in foreign countries. So if you pull back and you look at a country as a company and you look at all of the different products that company produces from their primary natural resources but also scientific resources and whatnot, chemical resources may be synthetic. That country then becomes a company. And you can control that company by controlling its currency. Its economy, that is exactly what the United States has fallen. Victim to, and this is why this country is on a crash course. To be destroyed. Because it is unable at this moment to pull itself up and out of this debt stranglehold. The United States government, federal government, D.C., has a what, just about a $30 trillion federal debt? As a taxpayer, you should be livid. You should be down at your city hall city hall is frequently as you possibly can. You should be writing to your local and state and federal leaders. As often as you possibly can, you should be absolutely outraged. At the state of your economic well-being is a federal government as a government that supposedly works for you. There's nothing then want to rob you blind in my opinion. Because it is subservient to what is known as the deep state, which runs its veins through the City of London, which is not English. It's not part of the United Kingdom. It's stubborn and separate from the United Kingdom as it is a Roman banking mechanism. Yes, all roads lead to Rome, the Vatican. And I'm not saying that they stopped there at the Vatican. They certainly run their way to the Basel Switzerland. As I've mentioned, to before they get to the Vatican, but they do at least pivot at old royal families, if you will, crown families, such as the Medici, the Alder bandini, the orsini, and this is all public information. You can find as long as you dig on your Internet or in your libraries. Definitely better in your libraries because you're Internet censored. That's what I have to say. I think Michael for his service, Michael strange, thank you very much. For defending what is known as freedom in this country and the constitution that we must fight for to retain and the Bill of Rights that we live by, these are these are our rights. Ladies and gentlemen, if you live in the United States, so thank you for SEAL Team 6. Thank you to. Thank you to the ones in the family that were bored. That had family board that chinook that went down that day, August 6th, the 2011. And in support Charles and his cause. Like I said, Larry claim is a former guest of mine. So I know Larry from that from that perspective and he does he does find work. There needs to be a change. There needs to be a revolt of sort. You must, you must, you must get angry. You have to be angry enough to make a change. And I'm not saying make a violent violence does not need to take place. Nobody wants violence. I don't want violence. Nobody wants violence. But the change must take place. The United States Constitution does not need to be changed. It just needs to be upheld, and the only way to uphold it is for you to get involved like Charles and others with your lawmakers and make sure that they uphold those rights. Otherwise, I completely agree with Charles and the United States will fall and it will be folded into something called the United Nations. So until next week, actually until next this coming Sunday, which is what I'm going to bring on Michelle black. And talk about her book sacrifice. Quote, I often say I prefer to hear an ugly truth than a beautiful lie in the year following my husband's death, I was told plenty of both. Michelle black at the beginning of sacrifice relating to gold star widows search for the truth behind her husband's death, this raw and eliminating memoir bears witness to the true sacrifices made by military families. And this will be the subject this coming Sunday, what you should be walking away with here, folks. We should be a walking away with now from listening to Charles speak. And from anticipating listening to Michelle speak or you do your research and listen to her platform, she's already spoken. Listening to, if you haven't already, please go back to those criss-cross episodes I've done with him about Benghazi. If you walk away with nothing else than this, then walk away with this. Your defense mechanism, whereas your military is crumbling. It's being destroyed. It has been infiltrated from within. Brigadier.

"Do you know to get out the right to stop it? I believe our country is in big, big, big troubles. And I'm not just talking about the gas prices. I'm talking about our borders, our freedoms. When you threaten the gold star father for example questions, the sun gave the all of the sacrifice for our country offerings. That were a big trouble here in America. Do I believe Obama Biden Hillary Clinton. Absolutely 100% absolutely 100%. And I got the proof. It's written right here in black and white. They want a wrong world order. That's what I think they think is the bio with the parents need, you know. I think we're in big trouble in America and when I was going on, they want rich and poor and they don't want any middle class, you know? No way you're going. I mean, you're getting rid of everything's going to be digital. You can kind of get rid of your money. It seems to have been big grift though. We're not wrong with that, but I know it's something that's in the market and invite you to size something doesn't know where you are. Where are you going? How much money you got? Test that freedom. That's communism. Where are you going to go? Who are you going to talk to? What's on your account? Unless, of course, you know, you're in for a Black Lives Matter. You know what I mean? It's the cost of the big guys. Are you kidding me? That's what I believe California here. So I think that's happening in our country right today. And everything would be, you know, God bless you, you know, boys want to be girls, girls want to be police. But it's coming from. Right? I got to understand that, you know that, but the people in general and every radio station every TV station in the mud. Like you gotta be crazy when you hear something wrong again. So we stand up, I mean, as you can get to burp scanning penetrates, the odd valley Tea Party. We got our own crew here in Philadelphia. We fighting against communist I mean, our district attorney here Philadelphia Larry krasner. He was hired by George Soros to put the 100,000s of dollars to give him in there. George Soros put 15 different district attorneys in cities and Larry krasner's first statement on television four years ago. We're going to start locking up more police. 'cause you don't tell me yourself wrong. You know? So I believe that I'm going to send big trouble and people got to start standing up and the mail in ballots was definitely, it was the rank. As venue was read, you know? So yeah, there's a guy that's been on the show that's working with that voter fraud issue there. His name is sundstrom Gregg since from let me know if you want the introduction to be happy to make that for you. And Charles just if you would, just leave some thank you again for your time, leave some final comments for listeners. Some final thoughts. I wish everybody in America right now knows that those who are families defined by losing a loved one. Build an action at the time of war. That's what it goes guys. I can introduce the strange ghost by father. People play congratulations. It's something we're in a boat that nobody wants to ban. There's nothing worse in the world than to have. And I want to listen to you if they could, please check out the Michael strange Michael strange foundation dot org. We have paid down and buy my book. What's going on? It's called relentless. Pursuit of the truth, it's only $20 to bring it online. You can do a line of Barnes and noble. You know, we need to support even a good videos at the mud strength foundation when we did bring them to parents and meet each other, you know, the struggle. It's a piece of my life missing. Since that day and I have all the children and pieces are always missing too. But mister big brother, Michael, and you're fine. I mean, how in fact, everybody. You know, Michael, you know, meeting a wife, the grandparents, everybody's got four brothers and sisters, but you got 6 good friends. I mean, the list goes on. We lost in Iraq as being nasty. We don't stop at 9009. And then those guys that were my rack Afghanistan over there for like two or three days, 22 a day,.

"The questions are there, and Charles, what happened to Michael Flynn at this time? Of course, we know that he was pardoned by president Trump. What was Flynn's involvement in this that you know? If you know. None that I know of. I know he was on the I never told Ken with fun. Yeah. I've seen some recently with Larry clam and he brought that name up somehow, they were circling in with this Jason Chavez or Chavez. And I just, I haven't been able to pinpoint and certainly haven't asked the general that question because this is a new frankly it's a new story to me. I've gone into Benghazi and this week I'm getting into a green beret story that has something that happened in Niger in 2017. The green braid named black is widow Michelle black bringing this cover up to light, but as Americans and everyday Americans such as myself, it's simply it's simply incredibly worrisome that these cover ups are happening. What's the next, what's the next step forward for you, Charles? And I thank you for doing the work that you do. And I thank you for pushing forward this cause from your son, what a wonderful asset he was to his country and he remained so through you, so thank you for continuing to deliver that. What's the next move forward.

"It's set very exciting. Oh, I still think I clearance. Are you kidding me? All the magneto talked about a little too. I need to know what part of it, you know. You want something been lagging in 93 days later they'll get good like that, not all of them are dead. You know, not all of them. But I think my son and that will expose the corruption that was going on. Are they talking about their own will or are they talking about another will? What are they talking about? They were talking about life insurance. Well, well, and what they laid out, you know? And he never talked about it well before. 8 years in the military. Four years with sales team sex. It did have been Latin raid. He comes home and starts talking about it well, another guy talking about a war. So he knew somebody was sat in a mop. So Charles, Charles, you think you think somebody was paid off, somebody received that life insurance of your son's head? Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. Good reading, and we tried with you. I claim it was on that one to try to get some answers about that. We got, we have to $50,000 and then his mother got 50,000, but he didn't have a $150,000 life in charge. We never seen that. So there's so many questions. You got to buy the book. Relentless. I'm telling you, I got the questions in there. I got somebody 1362 banks. You know, we're from, you know, anybody check out Michael screams. And they think that I want to drink Facebook, message me up, hit me up, any questions, yeah, I put something to 1300 pages. Facebook, I was shut down on Facebook. You know what I mean? I'm a construction work. I'm a gold star Tyler. You know? I mean, don't you still got his Twitter account, right? That's how you sound right there. You can jump in because this Twitter account isn't that it's taken down. You tell me in front of you going on in a Madison so you take away the gold standard in 71 as Nixon did and then men like your son become the new gold standard. That's what it sounds like to me. Yeah, I'm comment on that, Charles. I believe he is in the right hand of the assets, right? You know, it was a tradeoff. It was, you know, he took me down. He told them guys, yeah. This happened, go ahead. You had something to finish that thought. All this takes 2011. 30 men died 30 Americans died and blocked a word or, you know. What were they going to talk about? I was just saying all of the corruption that's going on in the back and for my son to act out the way he gets that he came home into the pen line right he never acted like that he you know what I mean? So in Charles, this happened this happened about a year or so. I'm not looking at the dates. Specifically, but Chris perano is a former guest on this show. He was involved in Benghazi. Something happened there and Benghazi, I don't know if there's a correlation at all or not, but some of these other men that are still alive, do they do you think they lack the courage to speak out? What do you think they might know that might help this cause move forward, Charles? Barbecue. At Friends house and they told me to talk to Johnny Marquez..

"You know, so. There's a lot of questions going on about everything that happened and what's going on with our military and the deep state and explosion. Most elite team in the world SEAL Team 6. I really believe rob O'Neill came out and started talking. Charles, what do you think your son was talking about when he's trying to tell you about a will and do you think what was he trying to say to you? What did he say to you? What was the will? What is the will? He knew somebody was setting him up. He knew that somebody from the deep state was like, contract, 'cause they knew. Do you ever look at the heroine that's coming in now about? We don't have that many people on horse feet when we started the war. And we maybe got 15% of the party. Now you can Google it. We get 90% of the poppies. From mass games, we don't have that many people are watching, you know what I'm saying? And post all the other. Resources we'll get out of there. And then all the money to make off the boards to cause the trucks that, you know, and the contract will come and he's like, Calvin was, and we actually have a time lawsuit going on. We have 352 goals for our families. Goodbye from 2010 to 2015. I ain't embarrassing as a lawyer and come out against and you have a D.C.. We had the first case in October. Who is because of the plane damage we weren't allowed to come. And they have some of the 1364 pages. This is so big. We gave the lawyers the 1364 pages they called us two years ago on New Year's Day because we're going to Jersey going to ankle over to see our Friends at the looters 12 o'clock in the afternoon. We're on the landscape press release. I know it's New Year's Eve. But I've had three calls today. I know you're saying some great lawyers. Some of the names that are in them 1300 pages or so many texts these contracts as well. So they tell me. Or are we tired in my house? I mean, in the 1364 pages, it says that they'll be his name. Where do you want? You know, so the question goes so deep, my friend didn't say it's unbelievable and to kill my son. And you think I'm gonna lay down you're gonna threaten me with the NSA? You know, big trouble here and you know, is it to my book, the relentless ghost of our fathers, the suit for the truth, it's online, a Barnes and noble for 20 hours is that we store the foundation about the strange foundations, practice it out, let the students foundation dot org we bring ourselves president Trump out about a school plank goes for our families and for a weekend. We thought Sam weekends over Veronica costar families were going in. We pay for the hotel, the food, the plane tickets, and they already paid the ultimate price for everybody freedom, and meet each other, you know, at all. I would get through the birthday, we need to run out. We also bring a paid green cancer, but between that and fighting with trying to get a strategy to congressional hearing. We'll never stop. We'll never stop asking questions. You said, you know, this goes.

"2011 at a dusty forward operating base, 40 miles south of Kabul, Afghanistan, the rotors were two U.S. Army CH 47 Detroit began to turn. Operating with no lights, save for the faint, green glow of night vision goggles and cockpit, instrument house, the two helicopters, call signs extortion, 17 one 7, an extortion 16 lifted into darkness and excitatory destination, less than 20 miles to the west. It was on that destination that one 6 never don't think that that helicopter had ever attempted to land. At 1.7, upon attempting to land was caught on fire and blown out of the sky, basically, all 38 personnel above it. Highly trained sophisticated special operation, soldiers killed. And there's one, there's one, there's one very interesting element to this piece. Now, general Flynn was somehow involved in that. I have not spoken to him about it, but there's one interesting element to this story. And this is why people like Charles and others are arguing a conspiracy, whereas a cover up. It was, I think, three months after the bin Laden supposed bin Laden. Compound raid and kill that this happened, but this is the this is what's interesting is that instead of splitting the two groups into boarding the two helicopters, the group was not split, and one helicopter flew empty. Pause on that. So we'll get Charles's research now. A decade later as to why he believes his son was killed that day, and I appreciate and thank you for tuning in and listening to discussion of truth. Remember this Sunday, Michelle black. With another military cover up story, but her husband, green beret, her book, again, penguin published called sacrifice. So Charles strange, ladies and gentlemen, bringing on Charles strange right now. The entree dot com and following on Twitter and Instagram. The interest rate. I and TRO TT, IR. Charles Charles Ian trachea here. Welcome to discussions of truth, sir. How are you today? Okay. Good. Charles, I have already made an introduction as to who you are. Why don't you please make your own introduction, tell us who you are, sir. How you doing? I'm talking strange post father from Michael strange of the national sex 2011 along with 29 other brave Americans. It was the biggest loss of life in the Middle East and the biggest loss of life in national American 22 in memoriam death group. Maybe special warfare. Two things jump out of me right there. On that date and it happens to be my birthday, August 6th, that happens to be the day of my birth that Charles, but it's also a Trojan horse of sorts. We lost some highly, highly sophisticated decorated trained soldiers that day. What do you know, Charles, your research into this debacle? Now, we've now seen two Biden and Obama and Obama debacles to massive mockeries of our military system under those two men's leadership. First, I'm talking about extortion 17 Charles and second, this thing that Biden created here, the last few months pulling out of ask man, Afghanistan. Give us your thoughts here on that. Well, Biden after the big library, two days after killing Osama bin Laden with my popular son was part of the red cloud. Says hill team 6 co bin Laden still came 6 killed by no one ever heard a seal keep sick and don't buy no this big mouth. And that actually secretary defense Robert Gates spoke out, yo, what are you doing? You know, they put a target on my son's back and then 30 men did that day. And it was no coincidence that 93 days later they get killed by it was definitely an ambush. It was definitely done by design. But can you beat that? October 2011 at a briefing by general OP did the investigation into two weeks. One 30 man being killed. In that investigation, which was like a horse and pony show that a gold star family he said, he gave us a folder. 25 pages and a day later, but the 25 pages you couldn't read. There was no ink in them. No toner. And the disk you put in these little blocks pop up and my wife after about 8 hours and find out how to download the deck, which was encrypted. And so we got 1364 pages. Described it down man under the bushes 30 of them on top of the tree. Surrounding so it was definitely set up was definitely done by under the Obama administration. And Biden. And. The other thing came answer is they passed our phones, one of my computer, we won the first case in history of the mask against the NSA. We're well in 2013. And we went against Obama and the NSA. People are 13 lawyers. Legal representation was Larry Clayman, started the official watch. And Obama actually talked about his wife who was president. Before we went on vacation, I had to go to my family with the NSA, we're going to look into that and make sure that look into it. Change the law. That is going your computers go on your phone and look you up. Larry's a past guest on this show. He joined join discuss the truth about a year ago and he openly called for this country in a nonviolent way. He openly called for this country to start a second revolution. Larry did, and again, that's nonviolent. Ladies and gentlemen, none of violent. But one of the things that speaks to me here, Charles, one of the things that speaks to me here is Delaware. You're talking about Delaware and what I talk about on my show is the corruption behind the banking system and how these things can get hit in under financial folders and certainly the Federal Reserve of 1913 being unconstitutional, Florida representative Anthony sabatini sang on my show just for the past few months that the Federal Reserve needs to be repealed. These international banksters are not only using us against our constitution, but they're also using our military and men to fight these wars when they shouldn't be fighting these wars. Now, Delaware, of course, is used as a place to register companies. You're talking about Robert Gates talking about SEAL Team 6. Why is it that SEAL Team 6 now becomes mainstream? What do you know Charles why is it before certainly the seals were founded, I think, in 1979 or 1980, this special ops out of the navy, they are founded maybe 5 or 6 years after the Delta force had been founded, but why is it that SEAL Team 6 around this bin Laden killing, why is it that SEAL Team 6 now becomes a target? Why is Obama openly stating out? SEAL Team 6, SEAL Team 6, 17 6. This issue should be highly classified. Well, I think the homemade to the blue line, right? And that was due to land was made first and comes home and he grabs me by the bicep. And you wouldn't believe what's going on in the country. And then we need to squeeze my thighs out. I said, well, what? Any thoughts? You wouldn't believe what's going on this country. And you started talking about it well. He never talked about it well. And all weekend, we started doing 16 time. We had a big party for him, but you can't have kids. You know, and he told us hiding about a will. And Barack Hussein Obama, Joe Biden, put up bull guy on SEAL Team 6. And you talk about, you know, what's going on. We weren't asking for 20 years. At least it's the same size as access. Are you kidding? We're the strongest military in the world. What you got to look at is good contractors that have been there for 20 years and Delaware and D.C. with these senators and congressmen. You will have stocks in ten years contracting companies have been over there. It's one of my new book, relentless. I just wrote a book with my first time out of writing abruptly and Stephen Michelle and it's a one line that points the novel for 20 bucks. But you can go deep. I mean, this is crazy what's going on there. This is your team 6, you know, and then 30 men died. Everybody in America is a role to talk all these things to dazzle 11. The biggest source of life. And I had to stop being some questions. I dragged in and congrats on the hearing. I had 42 of the parents, me and my wife, and nobody will do nothing for us. I actually met president Trump twice at The White House. He actually bring two local angles to our families down there. He did open investigations. But do still so many deep state people in the Department of Justice. If you call them up and ask for extrusion 17 you know, we located we're looking into it, and then hang up on us. Barack Hussein Obama Dover, who is 2011, old parents are an anger. I didn't see him coming, I'm out of my mind, you know, and he grabs anybody's shoulders, he said, Michael changed the way America lives. Michael, and he I grabbed Obama by the soldiers. I said, I don't need to know about him. I saw him. It's not as I need to know what happened. And I feel close. Since that boy like a bobblehead and had to skate with service guys, grabbed me. Then he came back and he whispered in my ear. I'll go to look into this very very, very deep and I was too dazzled. And we pressed forward with Larry Clementine, how Boston goes from our families, getting congrats on the hearing. Deep space deep, I'm never going to stop there some questions. Some of them 1364 pages are in my book, relentless. And we believe to know people need to start stepping up and asking questions. Those what's going on in our country? Okay, like you just said. 13 million, you got killed. We went after Afghanistan. Are you kidding me?.

What Happens When the Media and DOJ Target You with Congressman Matt Gaetz

"Kirk show with us is congressman Matt Gaetz. Matt, how you doing? I'm great, Charlie, good to be with you. You just got married. Congratulations. You as well. As you said, this is the newlywed show. It's the newlywed show without the women. So pretty lame newlyweds show. So let's get to the thing that some listeners might be curious about. You've been in the news the last 9 months. Floor is yours, what's going on? Well, it's never fun to be the victim of a crime. And I'm glad that at least one of the people who was involved in extorting my family not only has been charged, but has pled guilty. It's my expectation that there are more people that were involved in that attempted extortion and I want to get to the origins of it. You know, I see a certain pattern recognition whenever the deep state wants to go after someone. The first thing they do is they cede a lie. And then they need that lie retold, and when that lies retold, justifies their action that otherwise wouldn't be appropriate. That's what we saw in the Russia hooks. They ceded this lie that Trump was a Russian agent. And then at the end of the day, they were trying to throw him in jail for obstruction of justice. We see it more recently with the DoJ targeting parents who showed up at school board meetings. First they went and seeded the lie and the national school board association and then used that as a basis to put threat tags on parents. And with me, they seated some really horrendous lies and then used that to try to take me out of the national conversation. But we learned a lot from president Trump about how you ought to react and respond when you're in the barrel. We've all spent our time there. And I'm proud to be sort of looking ahead to the work that we have to do in the Congress to be worthy of the Republican majority that is, I think,

"I think really in this in this case like the way it's being used now is actually kind of okay. I can't see them on selling this data to data brokers who use it for commercial purposes. But should we have more formal safeguards around it. I don't know i don't know. I just think this olympic long for a while until we can share his some homes which in the case of mobile app data. We can show those harms in. The case of netflix being used by incident responders threat hunters and whatnot. It's hard to make the same case. Right yeah yeah. Exactly like i mean. This is largely data collected by good people for good purposes right on that so who are not who are not doing anything taking subsequent steps steps or car lighting it against other data sets To try to de anonymous people. That's not really what this stuff is used for. Not so he shouldn't he could and i'm sure like any big data center. There's to be some people who use it for the wrong episodes but by and large this this particular kind of underground scene of data sharing for security purposes is really neat. Good underground anymore. The point of the story exactly. Yes anyway Link to that story is in the shire nights and we're going to end without skateboarding. Dog adam. And then he actually went through the steps of getting people who understood blockchain for index and getting some private investigators and pull the thread and eventually identified. That has money being stolen by two british schoolchildren and so so then he writes a letter to the parents of these kids saying. Hey your son. Oliver nicked a million dollars for me. One hundred it was a million dollars now time it was about one hundred and forty five thousand quid. Yes so minimum. Still reasonable money sitting a lot for a school. Good to have nicked so yeah. He sent the parents linda saying. Hey here's all the evidence that your kids stole my money if you just want to give it back all this leave it there. That'll be fine. Otherwise i'm gonna go case against your and yet the parents just like didn't answer so i think eventually now there was a lawsuit and the parents arguing that pasta statute of limitations because it was took him two years to track down. Who Are the Belarusian Cyber Partisans?

"The first place. I want to talk about these actually. From patrick neil at mit technology review. And i think he's written probably one of the stories here About the cyber partisans in belarus. These this is the group that claimed to be hacktivists. Who ex filled a whole bunch of Data that's critical to the functioning of the belarusian. Sort of security apparatus and. Yeah he's got he's got right up really talking about this group. It's interesting stuff. Yes this is a really good return to the because we talked wasn't two or three weeks ago on the show win by. I started dropping some of the things that this group the partisans had hacked out the various interstate security apparatus in belarus. And this kind of goes back and looks at. That story has a bunch more details about kind of the makeup of the group They should be saying something. Like fifteen ish people bounce from the work in the tech industry and belarus in general and a few that have some sub security experience about what kind of learning to hack on the fly supported by a whole bunch of ex patriots involuntary ex patriot belarussian police and other state security people that fled the country after you know some of the bad things down in las relations and they end up providing support and gardens and analytics To help them go through. The process of making the most of the networks have a gangster. I think this kind of spitballing at times like it. Is this exactly what it sounds like. Is it really activists and local did initially talk about this. We came down on the side of well. This actually looks like it might be genuine kind of weird and it starts is to see some stories that back out that feel that we have at the time because we were going on. I'm pretty thin input at that at that point in the story but this is just an i was reading. This and i'm struck by this is like really walked inside a threat. Looks like you know we. We've seen so much has been made in writing about computer security over the you know the the dangers of insiders. This is really the in game of of insider when your own national government is using the people who work the mechanics of your national governments have security apparatus tuning against you and then using those tolls against the government and that's just a. That's inside three writ large and it's really interesting to see.

The Effects of Trump's Migrant Protection Protocol

"So it's sunday march seven and it's to be eleven. Am and right. Now i'm in the modus mexico I'm in a small plus that is right next to the microphone. Tenting cat mint is. I recorded this audio earlier this year the day after a migrant camp just across from brown so in south texas was cleared out for almost two years it was the home for hundreds of mostly central americans and mexicans seeking asylum in the us most had finally been allowed into the us some were sent to nearby shelter before they can be processed into the country others however were left in limbo. You know what i'm looking inside and it's really really quiet I'm used to you know hearing you know kids families moms dads talking to each other running around playing really really quite now at one point this now. Empty area held more than three thousand asylum. Seekers forced to wait in mexico as their cases made their way or us immigration courts. Historically for decades people had always been allowed to remain in the us while seeking asylum. It's their right under. Us law and international treaty obligations but the trump administration disregarded all of that when it is the remain in mexico policy officially known as the migrant protection protocols or mpp the policy. I rolled out in january of twenty thousand hundred in southern california and slowly spread across the entire southern border. As they walked by the ten are here. They're empty. They see firewood branches. I see little tables. They see shoes. You know that have been left behind. It's kinda crazy that it's like now closed. I met so many families who had been living in this camp without much help from either the mexican or us governments. They injured a hurricane a freeze deaths in the rio grande a pan-demic scorching hundred degree summers extortion and violence from criminal organizations and so much more

"About britney now yes so it had the hukou. Britney spears if you're into brittany spears news it also had the hook of conservatorship locked in. I learn more about conservative ships. The yesterday that i knew before and what they can be if they get out of hand this one looks like it's out of hand although the other side hasn't had its say it so let me just read from the new york times piece in a rare public appearance in court. The singer gave impassioned speech about her treatment under the conservatorship that controls her life telling the judge she would like it to end brittany spears told l. a. judge yesterday that she's been drugged compelled to work against her will and prevented from removing her birth control device over the past thirteen years as she pleaded with the court to enter father's legal control of her life. I've been in denial. I've been in shock. Traumatized said ms spears who turns forty in december and an emotional twenty three minute address by phone that was broadcast in the courtroom. I just want my life back. It's the first time the world had heard from his spears Since this the struggles back in two thousand eight when she was in the news every single day remember when she shaved her head and smashed the window out of the car and all that sort of stuff and there were stories. Going around about her Her mental health potential substance abuse etc. Her dad petitioned the court got control over her daughter and has control head control for the last thirteen years. She says i shouldn't be in a conservative conservatorship. I truly believe it is abusive and the laws need to change now. I don't know the details. Maybe she was someone you needed to take her kids away from her and everything like that but for thirteen years. She doesn't have control of anything in her life. She detailed how she has an iud. Birth control the vice. She's not allowed to take it out. She's had the same boyfriend for years who she wants to marry and have a kid with which he's not allowed to even really dating normal way whatsoever she. This seems like you're locked in a high security mental institution treatment. She's given two thousand dollars a week allowance while she's generating millions and millions of dollars. She made the point During her speech that she's the only one working in this whole crowd her dad and everybody around her. A bunch of different lawyers are making money off her. She's one going on stage every night. She doesn't want to do it. She told me last year. She said she didn't wanna perform anymore. They they tell her when she's going to practice. She's told me spears. You need to be You need to be a practice at four in the afternoon. Monday thursday friday. We're giving you friday off. She doesn't have any control over that. How many shows she's going to do where she's going to do shows. She wanted to stop. She said she was burnt out. Had no interest in the dancing and everything like that and they put her on lithium to try to keep her practicing singing. And everything like that to bring in the money for the people that control our life yet. Sounds just completely insidious i would like to hear the other side of it But i don't understand why she'd be working at all if she doesn't want to. I mean she's got zillions of dollars. Well her conservatorship dozer parasite dad. I'm knowns my opinion known a number of people that were in some really not good points in their lives and they didn't get their kids taken away or you know their their finances taken away or how where what they need to work or all these different sorts of things that maybe they should. I don't know but the normal people where you don't have this kind of money involved. This doesn't happen. yeah boy. This sounds like a story that ends tragically and everybody will say all since she was a little kid. Terrible with her dad absolutely tragic and then we'll worship the next pop. Princess churned out by the disney factory. As i was listening to this. I thought it's amazing that she hasn't done something. Really awful already And that's a long time to live a life where other people are telling you what you're doing and when you're doing it with your personal life and your professional life as they off of you. I remember when. Brian wilson of the beach. Boys who's dealing with his mental health struggles and there is this psychiatrist or somebody rather who had gotten the conservative ship and he abused the hell out of any he turned out to be a rotten guy and it was crooked and not good for brian at all and he finally got free from that an in resumed his life. Thank god but yeah. I i think this might be useful for shining a light on this sort of deal but i had no idea what the truth is. I think it's particularly interesting at this time that we're talking about like what the homeless situation and with People go crazy with guns. We keep saying there are all these mentally ill. People out there in. There aren't enough mental hospitals and we need to have more people in mental hospitals. Okay well who's gonna decide to put them in the met lost battle. Mom dad brother whoever and It how often is it the right decision or did they end up like with britney spears where people lose their freedom and they're fine and then how often is the case reviewed. That's where i wanna know. No kidding i mean we were talking earlier about how there's a three year backlog on Going over the applications of the translators. The afghan translators lives are going to be over very soon. If you don't leave him in a three year lag to process paperwork follow sudden. We have a system. That's got you know fifteen million mentally. Ill people in conservatorship something like that. How long backlogs is gonna be to go over there cases time and time again because you have to keep going back. How crazy are you if you're able to go on stage. Every night and generate. "And he's chosen to indulge the radical whims of democrats. He'll do everything they tell him. As long as they keep the military industrial complex flush with cash. That's laura ingram unhappy with general milley. Yesterday as he testified to congress about critical race theory being thought it pod at military academies. What does general millions eat. Joint chiefs sky chairman of the joint chiefs. Yeah yeah okay. So i suppose we ought to hear what he said. As we've heard the commentary from laura ingraham there. Here's a little of general milley yesterday on the issue of critical race theory etc. A obviously have to get much sparser on whatever. The theory is But i do think it's important actually For those of us in uniform to be open minded and be widely read in the united states military academy is a university and it is important that we train and we understand And i i want to understand white rage. And i'm white and i won't understand it. So what is it that cause thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the constitution of the united states of america. What caused that. I wanna find that out. I want to maintain an open. Mind here and i do want to analyze it. It's important that we understand that. Because our soldiers sailors airmen marines and gardens they come from the american people so it is important that the leaders now and in the future do understand it so i thought that was pretty. Interestingly p made their he's going with. I guess he's taking it as just Settled fact that what happened. The capital on january six with about white supremacy anti overturning. The constitution Well i do think they were trying to donald trump to get to stay in office which some some of the people were the hardcore were. Yeah wasn't the only people i care about. The hardcore people showed up and bust down the doors and were willing to beat on cops. And we're going to duck nancy pelosi or whatever. Those are the people i care about. But i still am not convinced. It's got anything to do with white supremacy which what we're discussing here wiler why they're teaching critical race theory in our military academies rice. He's suggesting we're just reading it. Because it's an interesting ideology the same way we read mao-tse-tung. I'm not buying that. no i'm not either. Now he said at the beginning that i need to be more educated on this. Yeah i do. I think almost everybody in government needs to figure out what critical race theory the way it's being presented in schools in government and businesses in this country. What it is and often they don't and he basically states right the beginning that he's not sure what it is then he goes on to say. I'm not scared of this. I don't see why we wouldn't wanna learn it. I mean we study leninism. We study marxism everything. Okay so those are. Those are major philosophies that have dominated on the world stage that you should be aware of because we're fighting enemies that are using those philosophies today who's critical race theory. Why do we what. Why are we introducing a new evil. Be like if marxism existed but hadn't been tried anywhere and our teaching at universities right and it was hot on the college campuses and the radicals and the kids were kind of into it so the generals are saying. Hey all you all you soldiers. You probably got to read up on this karl marx stuff. It's really interesting. Is it being in the military academies as this is a load of crap. Make sure you keep it out of our schools in our businesses because it's teaching racism. I don't think that's probably the way it's being introduced right. And it's hardly it's not an ideology at all. It's an extortion racket. It's a tool to get people to shut up so you can seize power you call them racists no matter what they do and if there's any policy you don't like you point out how you know it has allowed comes on different people a racist therefore it must be torn apart. Never mind if it's the greatest designed by man in history it's the best humankind has ever come up with if you can show any sort of disparate impact that means by definition it has to be torn down. That's crazy. i just hope we are. We spending enough time on teaching people in the military how to Have to shoot and drive tanks and fly planes and do all the things to fight wars in how to not commit suicide. When they're done maybe we could spend some time on that. Yeah we talked about that earlier. Four times as many people who served in the twenty first century wars have killed themselves as died in action four times as many anyway Back to the critical race theory and i. I don't want in the schools. i don't want it in our government. i don't want my business to during meet to drag me into the conference room and make me learn the scrap that what is falling for and i'm sure he's a smart guy is that it is a it's like i said it's a tool masquerading as a philosophy. But it's a circular illogical philosophy and so but million is giving it respect. He's giving it air. He's he's treating it as if it's a serious look at american society and it's not exactly what laura ingram said general's see which way the wind is blowing and they go that direction whether it's the war in iraq the war in afghanistan as we learn from the washington post you know they. They told the barack obama what he wanted to hear. All those years and george bush because they know what they wanted and now they realize okay. This is what people want. They want us to care about this. So i'm going to care about this. And i keep the spigot going in the military industrial complex Cruising along. i think you're absolutely right. And i've heard it said by more than one fighting man or serving man the higher you go the lesser soldier. And the more you're a politician. I believe that to be true. That's keeping the country safe. Let's talk for a minute about keeping your home safe with simply safe. The award-winning home. Security system designers married couple. They designed it in their kitchen. Because they're our friend. "The cyber world is the latest frontier of human interaction. But for all the good at his brought it remains dangerous territory revengeful personalities an unstable mines have the ability at their fingertips to toy with people's lives to the point where they're victims have no place to hide in no laws to protect them. We've got a small taste of this ourselves a few years ago during our early days of podcast hosting for brief period i was stocked online by a stranger and it was scary. I'll give some details on that later. But made billion curious about the dark and even deadly world of cyber stalking. We wanted to export deeper over this past year. Alexis and i have spoken with dozens of victims of cybercrimes along with the professionals who investigated these cases pursued these offenders we encountered horrific stories of lives upended disturbing tales of extortion and psychological terror an unbelievable cases that ended in murder. And we uncover the granddaddy of them. All the predator. Who not only targeted vanessa. V but of fifty other victims over the better part of four decades. I decided to tell a story because every male friend. I talked to told me not to do it. They said i should stop investigating and stop inserting myself into this world. People are scared of these criminals and not enough people are speaking out because of it. And i'm telling the story because having now investigated it. I came to realize that you'd rather face a guy in an alley with a knife than an online predator with a keyboard. You know you might get hurt in the knife fight. At least you'd have a fighting chance against the cybercriminals you're fighting with hands tied behind your back.

"What kind of despicable person would do something like that? But, you know, unfortunately, it goes to show that to some extent you are at the mercy of the people you do business with and that the less information you can put out there in digital form, the better. But as we get more and more connected, and more more devices have plugged, and that gets harder and harder to do. And it also shows that again even though you think you might not have information Someone would be willing to steal. There's all kinds of different ways. They could use this information. It may not be just to perpetrate identity theft on you or someone else in your organization. It may be to potentially hold you or your customers whose data they stole hostage. Imagine the black eye for you is a company the reputation damage for you as a company. If your customers data was stolen, especially if it was something extremely sensitive like this. They could point the finger at you as the source of that, and your customers are basically being docked and extorted. It's probably a extinction level events for your business. Well, I mean, target Target went through that too, To an extent, did they not? Yeah. In that case, unfortunate event that had a tree A C contractor come in. And the bad guys minutes to get into their network through the contract, But I think what we're seeing both through Grant somewhere that is encrypting people's data and holding it for ransom. Or just folks who will use this extortion angle. Extortion is becoming increasingly common because If you have a good backup of your data. There's a good likelihood you can recover from ransom. Where you just restore, you know, you get rid of the ransom. Where you restore the data that you bought them and you're good to go. Maybe lose a couple hours at least a couple days. But you can often recover. If you have a good backup. That's one of the best defenses against handsome. But you can't recover from the extortion angle where they say not only Are you going to pay us this ransom? Because we've encrypted your data. But if you don't pay, we're going to release this data on the Internet. So this whole extortion, sly stocking angle it sadly becoming increasingly common and again, incredibly despicable. A similar would release. The mental health information about in minor When you were told about clinics I didn't realize you were talking about. You know, psychology I thought you were talking about Mental health. I guess a physical health. I guess they could release your Your medical records to if it were up to that point. Absolutely. I mean that, depending on what it is, you know, someone's finds out that you've got, like, you know, constipation is quite damaging. "One oh seven one let's talk about this today we were talking about the fact here's the me just tell you words extortion is what basically this cyber crime is been to claim they claim people's accounts have been hacked with the criminals saying they have video proof usually via web cam webcam of a person watching sexual contact then they demand immediate payment and bit crying which gives you anonymity or they'll release the video to the public and that's probably even with some of this yeah okay so this says cyber security analysis they did the new tactics now is for criminals to create fake accounts on dating websites pretending to be young women looking for partners and then once they get a response they try and get personal information you know like what's your sexual preferences and then you know get some back and forth and then sometimes that's published on the forum along with conversation and blah blah blah is that the the the main thing is just don't I mean the FBI's internet crime complaint said they've seen this huge increase of online extortion scams because more people are staying at home let me be more people are looking online we we looking at things using their commercial their personal computers and it plays off realistic fears that people have about online privacy and anonymity okay and people can collect thousands of dollars in easy money by pretending they have stopped they don't even have one trick you into believing they have the goods on you because they say all what you're do database you know we got your name also you were in a global data breach in play the risk is you just don't respond or react in an email like this did you yeah and it was like we've got all of your at lake preferences and other things and you do like transfer bitcoin ever gonna leak release all your videos and I like well too bad I don't do any of that stuff on the internet well obviously like this is a meatball obviously it's a scam but it's scary but it's just like I could see you reading the language if you were participating in certain kinds of behavior see it up online and you were consensual adult and but are you afraid also some of the sextortion that's happening is they're good at deepfakes yeah taking photos of you and manipulate manipulating them how would they get the photos hello okay yes I mean it's like it's super easy so anyway yes sextortion be careful I'm I'm telling you their sole member how we talked about all the scams being up the mast scams during covert I think a lot of people have extra time on their hands and I really there's a lot of stuff going on I feel like I've seen someone's face pop up on a on a dating website and then you get and then they go away and then you see a pop up with a different name I feel like I've seen this yeah I feel like you can kinda I eat just be where people yeah be worth everything yeah lord I know if it doesn't seem right it's probably not something sounds weird to listen to guess I don't need to hide okay so I got a response back on a site in say yes from a gentleman but we don't have enough yes yeah but I'm saying just a comment but it had on top of that a picture from the interior of my cabin okay weird sorry sad you know hi whatever you don't wear tell me about this picture you know and then I get back what picture so didn't show up on his thing so how weird is that is that all about I was freaked I don't know did you end all engagement yeah but I'm just like that's just so weird how may I know there is a lot of weird stuff out there people yeah well all right for people that just weird yes yeah I thought so too I think that that is that's your your you can see if your reason is sophisticated you know I understand you are getting famous and not famous people you'll be scared and you're like what the hell you know it's it's very yeah yeah there's a lot of information about yourself out there all right well right here's something I am always giving this information because New York City issued some guidelines two weeks ago for group sex so I thought I you're going to give them to okay so how do we do this right now in a time of cold and people have been asking I mean if there are hot sex clubs here they're very on the down low by only underground under underground in New York City there is a members only group called N. S. F. W. yes which does not mean not safe for work as we think it is stands for new society for wellness I love that yeah that's how the politics is a well known fact it in it's in so ho and they're trying to figure out how everything is hello everybody's going to be getting it done at the sex club in the time of a curve it so with the city did the group sex guidelines you know well do it in a well ventilated area keep the alcohol based hand sanitizer on but this dude who is the chief conspirator of the club said they're asking everyone to do their temperature at the club door bring a separate change of clothes in a plastic bag wear a mask have gloves use the sanitation stations throughout the space and no new sex which means you can't hook up with anyone besides a partner you came this is a watching club that's winning yes yes and where does about this so their only allowing twenty people at a time and here's one of the funny sorry the twenty people had to pay fifty dollars here's a here's a lady dom cat she's a professional dominatrix and fetish a wrestler she said about booting out she had she said we're going to a lot of the this is what she does for background she does a booty painting performance which covers but that's you can't verify that sensitive son so she rolled on and as far as it did that also makes flowers with her **** loudly she's Georgia o'keefe but she kind of.

"The last few days it's been an amazing I've watched people come together the organizers are working with businesses they moved the barricades back so that we can get some of our clients back it's been really really amazing experience she also brushed off allegations of extortion I have yet to see it I've been here this whole time I think that there were rumors that are spread by people who want to see this fail okay so correct me if I'm wrong Mike but I have I've heard a lot about this extortion idea and I looked and I could not find one credible instance of this happening I don't believe there were any police reports filed about this type of thing and there's just something something about this whole thing I'm talking about the you know that this kind of extortion story the abandoning of the precinct the setting up of this autonomous zone there's just something about it if I can borrow a line from tone Lok in ace Ventura pet detective something eight stern the Kool aid man like there's just so I can get a whiff of something's not right about any of this and I'm not sure what to make of it and that is a big problem because I I think that one of the biggest priorities here when you're talking about a movement like this when you're talking about change when you're trying to do what what black lives matter in this movement is trying to do polarity of message is paramount I think one of the reasons one of the many reasons that you're seeing so much support behind this is because people looked into it and they really understood what it meant there are a few big points and then if you look into it you can see those points broken down into a few other points in those are the things we need to address but now we're starting with the the waters are starting to get a little money for me and I'm not sure where it started or why some of this is happening for the first time in this movement so I don't know I don't know if I could tell you but where you're wrong you're something there but I guess I can say what my impression is that young certainly of the the Capitol Hill economists on I mean I think the first thing that happened that was when the police were holding their ground it was very very clear that the protesters the police in many of these kids situation in Seattle modern Seattle or least recently modern Seattle Seattle did not handle these big events terribly well in its history but this time I decided all right we're what we're going to do is hold fast and wait about him and they tried and they ultimately decided like this is not going away anytime soon these folks are actually getting more ramped up in the end what would happen was every time the police did anything to sort of dissuade them normally what dissuades him is viewed the use of tear gas and those sort of things it didn't in this case you know it didn't so and it's a densely populated neighborhood filled with a lot of people who actually see at least solve that barricaded section of town as in manta and anti how to what to what they want so so then they they make the other radical switch of pulling out entirely and things did I mean it didn't actually do it was supposed to do it did ramp everything down but there wasn't really I mean the end game being that it's at the Saitama zone I don't know how realistic that is even by the people who are organizing it I don't think they expect to have us a city within a city right right right some sort of zone that's run specifically by this particular group right I don't know that that is actually the presumption the presumption is that they've made a statement I mean if that's the biggest or in the country right now you know that that it's been from The New York Times The Washington Post every major broadcaster everyone's paying attention to it obviously you know that you get the the fox news of the world that are that are paying a particular attention to it as as the rending of American society so what is the next play here that's the real question what what is the what is the end game here on both sides I think with the city the point has been made loud and clear that people would like to see reform and bigger reform than some sort of agreement hatched between the U. S. attorney's office and the police department that kind of left the public out of it with one sort of vague oversight commission right and so what do you do now well I don't think that the city is prepared to abandon the precinct but I think that the city should be prepared to think about all right well what is it that we can do that's going to maybe get police a little more integrated in the community and not with this many fortress within a neighborhood watch is the way the precincts always operate they really are look at any police precinct in Seattle and they're not exactly places that are designed for you to go up interact you walk in the lobby you've got a counter that can maybe interact with that everything else is I mean this is not they're not what we're facing their inward facing yeah and I think that if the city starts looking at what can we do to make this sort of organization incorporating other other services into it what can we do to make this sort of more integrated in the neighborhood and not a box office in the neighborhood and I think that those are the questions and I think that if if they frame it like that and I don't know I don't know could be that the folks in Chas who are who are responsible to some degree for being part of the leadership that may not be acceptable to them I don't know I mean I haven't heard I mean I haven't heard a consistent set consistent set of demands but I do I don't mind the idea that this is going to force a really serious conversation I do think though that the city leaders are starting to get weary and where it's gonna go from here if both sides don't have an end game planned out they might want to start thinking about it yeah that's that's exactly what I'm talking about it reminds me so the occupy Wall Street movement when that happened was at two thousand eight two thousand nine yeah am I was in New York City I went to the khadi park which was the the main base for that for that movement people camped out for weeks I think and it was a mess it was an unholy mess you walked through and everybody had a different sign for a different issue that they had and I think that really did damage to the message and so I look at the the Chas website Capitol Hill auto dot zone and they have a list of demands the demands of the collective black voices a free capital hill to the government of Seattle Washington and it's just a a litany a laundry list and I understand that you want that there's a lot that needs to be taken care of but I just don't want the message to get lost under confusion or you know starting to turn on each other because this one thing I think is more important than that other thing when it's just we have a big road ahead of us and we need just like you said start plotting out what's next and then what can.

"Seriously you could interpret that in a lot of ways what he does is he watches all these other states extremely closely and if anyone even comes close to getting close to our first nations spot he finds a way to Swat them away like nine hundred ninety nine when we went toe to toe with Iowa of all places that we've shown time and time again that the state of New Hampshire especially the political class will stand up and fight people off. This is why we chose stranglehold as title bill because despite all the things that the political class will tell you about how we offer such a great gift to people by being the first the nation primary. Because we're offering retail politics and in other states. It's you know candidates fly into the airplane. Hangar make it press conference announcement and fly out whereas here we can offer something but you know sure. That's the argument. But really when when it's come time time to fight. Overstaying I new Hampshire has really risen to the challenge whether it's political blackmail or fighting with their so-called brother over there in the first first in the nation state and Iowa new annual northbound down to the challenge and Bill Gardner is a huge huge part of that Bill Gardner when he sets the date. That's it he does not change and I did not understand how important that was to him. It seemed like no argument. No appeal to reason no openness to compromise compromise would work basically. It came down to this. I'm just going to cut to the chase. This is bullshit were New Hampshire and God damn it. You should move this is you know. I don't give a shit about Iowa and so what's been interesting for us as as we tried to tell the full story of Bill Gardner partner which is that over the last couple of years. He's become a much more controversial figure is even in his own party you know. He is a registered Democrat and yet conservatives have kind of really rushed I to back him lately because he takes a lot of stances on voting issues that are much more aligned with the Republican Party than the Democratic Party. And it's Kinda put Democrats in a weird spot where they feel like a lot of long standing lawmakers. Feel like we've got a relationship with this guy. He keeps the primary I you know. What are we supposed to do here? This is completely against what we believe. So they've been in kind of a rocky SPA and so when his last time for reelection and I should say he's elected by the New Hampshire legislature which I'm sure you know is massive and that became a really really interesting moment for them to kind of reflect on who they really want in that position. Now what you Gardner. So this is an irony. Here's the guy who is the guardian of elections. He's not even popularly elected he's elected but selected by the state legislature. And it's every two years ears right. Yes it is and for many many many years there really wasn't much of an election to be had. It was Kinda like pro forma situation because he was so popular and I should say despite all this controversy that I was just talking about he is extremely popular in the street legislature. And he's known around the state so you know it's been a pretty easy thing for him to run for quote unquote re election with all of his peers except for his most recent election which came down to like a nail biter which you know everyone was kind of taken taken aback by and the question at the end of the day for many lawmakers was. If we don't have Gardner who's GonNa keep the first in the nation primary because that I'm telling you is the thing around here. Yes yes. So how important is it. How important is it? Well what about monetarily. As opposed to just the psychic values are way to put a number on it. Well it's it's hard to really put it like a very complete number on it but I will say institutions like my own Alma Mater Saint College a small Liberal Arts College. Here you know the the debates from CNN all these big places would come in every four years and be hosted at the college. The college could then advertise students myself. Included here's a brochure. Look how you you can get involved with the primary. The presidential elections so. Unh same thing New England College. So you know that's not nothing that's certainly money going into a place that it wouldn't otherwise wer. wer Is our only television station. They get crazy ad revenue from candidates. Who Want To? Obviously I've television ADS on few one. TV Station in New Hampshire we. It should not even forget also that there are a lot of people who in the political class have made long careers off of this. There are people like who started on the Jimmy Carter Campaign Jeanne Shaheen among them. Who would go onto governor of New Hampshire and of course is now one of our most senior? US Senator so this thing is certainly helped a lot of people and it's benefited me. Do which we've been like very open about on the podcasts at Hampshire primary also benefits reporters and young college kids like myself who thought it was awesome to be able to talk to candidates. It's at my school. And then benefited from them. Obviously by being able to have be interviewed by reporters and then get internships. So yeah I would say it's hard to put an exact number on but it's definitely there's definitely benefits so here you are. You're sticking your thumb in the eye of this supposedly beloved institution. What kind of reaction are you getting from the people of New Hampshire and the person who is the topic of your first episode Bill Garner? Okay well I the people certainly been in Split. I will say that voters. We had a survey early on asking voters. Like what do you want your primary coverage and a Lotta people from New Hampshire. Wanted to know why the hell are we first so we were like well. This is good. We should tackle that if people here don't know that's a great thing to to help them understand so I would say that a lot of voters are really happy about it. We've also heard from people. Oh from other states who are like. Finally I understand why this thing is I and now I feel like I understand it. And its place in this larger tradition picking presidents and that's great but we've also got a lot of pushback from people who have started political careers off of this thing or people who feel were not saying enough enough about the great the greatness that the New Hampshire primary should provide I guess separate from that as far as Bill Gardner is concerned you know we had tried many times to reach out to him because we really wanted to talk to him for the first episode. He at that time it said that he wouldn't do an interview with us until he announced the the data the first nation primary which I should say is only up to him so he is the only person who knew when he would do that so obviously that meant that he was not going to be sitting down with us us. And and since that point we have heard and we're recording at a point when he told another national reporter that this podcast that we put together is full of lies and untruths and so we of course than we're like. Well you know we would really like to talk to you about that. What are you talking about? And he said he hadn't I heard it so he's still wouldn't do an interview unless we did it on his terms in the middle of this big press conference about announcing the date of the primary and so instead. We you kind of put an episode together last minute. That just showed why. He says he thinks it's full of on truth. which is that? He doesn't want he hasn't listened to it and other thoughts that he had about the first. The Nation primarily expressed in that press conference. And that's about as far as we've gotten but I think the short answer would be. He doesn't seem to be. You're happy with it even even though he didn't listen. Do you think if this were. I don't know twelve years ago and podcasting weren't the phenomena that it is and you were mostly playing playing to just or almost entirely playing to a new Hampshire crowd. Would this have been the kind of undertaking that the station was eager to commit commit to. That is a very good question. Because some of what we've been doing as we think about looking at this as an institution has had to look back at our own coverage and we do have. I've done coverage that really was like. Oh how cute is the primary and so we are just as I guess guilty of of this guardianship protective nature. I'm talking about where that I've seen in other organizations and I think that because We've shown that we can do investigative stories. We can tell the big stories that we can do narrative stories that made the newsroom. Feel like we could take a risk pulling me off the trail and and investing in a big question like this and looking at the primary in a different way but I also think that pike as are a big part of it because it would be a whole other thing too you know. Where would we have put it right? I mean you know public radio back then was where where newscasts were by the clock and I feel like we've all started to take a lot of risks lately about where we can put things in how we can tell stories But I would like to think that You know I cherish my colleagues and I think very highly of them and I'm I'm sure back then what my colleague Josh Rogers was here at that point and I know that he was thinking critically about the primary back then to you lauren. Children's podcast stranglehold has a stranglehold on my imagination. It is excellent. You're you're so much about the New Hampshire primary. Just take one second to step back and ask why Lauren. Jenner's reporter for New Hampshire public radio. Thank you Laura..

"And the American people themselves have to make a judgment do you actually think that they know what this is about where's the crime no one even those things the crime they construe the crime out of thin air that they're trying to peddle to the American people first it was quid pro quo than they realize most Americans are stupid and don't understand Latin so they change it to to extortion or bribery rather which is of course a form of extortion on the part of the Democrats by changing it to bribery like trump was trying to get something for his own pockets shippers engaging extortion in front of our eyes like a magician but it's even worse than that what is really all about trump said the Ukraine will give me the if you want a million dollars in military aid but we want you to investigate Biden and his son because we know there's something dirty there now isn't it the obligation of an American president to look into a dirty deal themselves threatened poor Shango that they wouldn't give them a billion dollars unless they pulled the prosecutor off his collapse here is by themselves who should not only be impeached but you should be in jail for what he did listen how clever the Democrats are there like the dirty kids in the school yard who steal the ball missions and then scream to the teacher he stole the ball and the kicked me in the shins are rotten bunch they are here is the man who should be impeached the man who should be in jail for using not only quid pro quo but extortion of a prosecutor listen to this in clip one and I had gotten a commitment from portion co hand from yachts in Europe that they would take action against the.
