"For the lightning as they dump it back in from center ice for Carey Price can't give his team any better chance. That was unbelievable. He might have made a second say without his stick. Now Maroon brings it in long shot from the high slot handled by price, who reels in the little rebound. And covers up the one thing you know you're going to get out of carry price is a cool, calm goaltender that gives his team a lot of confidence. Just prior to the safe, pooch drop on a deflection just missed and then Harry Price makes two saves. He lost his stick. He lost his stick. He makes to save the first one and then a second one on Pilate as well without a stick. Keep that in mind if the Canadians are able to come back, face off to the right of price and Johnson for the Lightning thrown from the circle, Maroon leans in and wins the draw against Jake Evans. Circuits have middle of the ice drops it back Matthew Joseph winds and fires safe price and he covers the rebound as Romanoff keeps maroon at bay. Yeah, that's that's shot. After Pat Maroon wins the face off. And now Tampa Bay goes into a set play. Maroon ends up back to the front the net so that shot that came from the point by Sergei Chekhov gets deflected on the way in and carry price. Makes her partying with Joseph that made to save and Carey Price is able to make the save as it goes off defenseman Romano Well, do it again in the ring to the right of price. 33 year old. That minor British Columbia seeking his first ever Stanley Cup, This is 91st Stanley Cup playoffs start face soft wind for the Canadians and Romanov tries to carry it to the line that can't get past breaking point. How many times in this series Joe? Have we seen the Lightning? Just refused to give up Gasol. Now this matchup Roman up the youngster on defense against the top offensive line for Tampa Bay. Sneaking behind the defensive. Sanderson gets a stretch passing to save me by Vasilevskiy as turn AC rides Anderson into the knocking it off behind the Tampa Bay that mind Anderson still down on the ice. He has taken up. He's shaken up on the play. He got hit hard. He was being chased. He had about a half a step. And so the Past. Anderson, who's stuck behind the two defenseman, and he ends up getting a shot and getting knocked down just as the time he shoots and he goes hard into the net, knocking the net up its moorings. Internet came back on him. Anderson with the shot back a little bit of a push. Nothing that should be penalized. And it's not an Anderson now back to his knees and he got spun around. Joe Looks like is back. He hits this contact with the gold, right? He's still been at the waist as he gets up, boy. What a chance, though he's able to sneak behind that something like this Tampa Bay team knows how to shut teams down when they have a lead in the third period. That's all that's a defensive mistake right through the handle of the ice. Let Anderson slide behind him. Everybody and have that kind of story chance he goes directly to the Montreal locker room Does Josh Anderson Burlington, Ontario native as soon as he reports to the bench, so we'll keep an eye and see if he's able to return. Otherwise. Dominic to Sharm has to juggle his line combinations he's already got Gallagher and to know outlets A Foley to take this face off and a Tampa Bay win for Hedman who lobs at the center ice, whoever moves it ahead and now back to the left side. A lot of room for Ben Sarah sh throughout, winds it around and home inside a chop. It has no ricochets around Johnny Gord is there to collect it. For example, Bay uses the boards up the right side. Weber activated Couldn't keep it in, however, and now he got more help. From Toffoli, who did keeps the puck in at the blue line. Finally the light and get it to center Good row across the line for Coleman, and his shot is blocked out of play by Joel Edmundson played by Edmundson. They're going Montreal's don't law that happening. It's you know, anywhere around the front of their net with their sticks, skates so hard to make a play around the The defensive minded group Uh, Montreal. Canadians 16 3 to go third period of Game five of the Cup final the lightening up one to nothing. Victory and they are Stanley Cup champions Again. Montreal win the series goes back to Quebec for Game six on Friday. We would have all the action for you here on Sports USA surrogates have up from our boards has crushed in by Colton price out of his net to play it from behind the goal around the right course and Suzuki trying to stretch it ahead. And it was an aerial past just Connect with Corey Perry Suzuki upset with himself because Harry again had found a scene in the middle of the ice Joe Instead, it's icing. You know, we're more We're focusing more on Josh Anderson being hurt down on the ice home state by Vasilevskiy. He comes and takes everything away on a partial breakaway on Josh Anderson, who has been it always been good in this series from Montreal. Upfront point wins the draw squirts for the high slot, and Caufield pounces on it and angles it back into the Tampa Bay zone. McDonough beats him to it. A pair of former Wisconsin Badgers battling for that puck, and now it's the lightning. He send it all the way back off of the flexible, no icing and he treats pays the price hit hard by Palat behind the net. Canadians moving up Outside and Edinson goes in direct off the boards over and hit. The linesman are called Byron might have been behind the defense. What's the officials are part of the playing searches. Vyron circles back and gets it from Edmondson room in the middle of the ice, the diminutive Byron across the line for lack and acquired it for the slot just out of the reach of Evans, activating off the right. 0.2 charges up the boards and keeps it in. He was written off the truck now has to get back to his normal defense position as the lightning clear and Kucherov has at its center. He brushes it in wide price. Hedman all the way up on the plate, trying to keep it alive, with Colton Lightning changing so time and space for the Canadians and Petrie just voiced it through the middle of the ice. It trickles right back wider Vasilevskiy, but no ice in Castell got their first crisis center comes all the way back in Amman off hit as he tried to take a one timer. Cirelli blocked it. Cirelli gets up and takes the feet up left wing now from Stamkos. He's written off the puck in the corner by Romano who came back. He keeps it on the dancers. He was bumped behind the net and Kulak gives it back to it. Where the hitting is picking up. Joke alternative. What's at stake. It's been a physical series, Cano picks it up from behind the Montreal net. Gallagher's passed in the states of his intended target, but it gets it back to Foley. However, offside on the left side. Was Philip Channel 13 57 to go in the third period of Game five. The Lightning lead.

"Redirect by stand post. He scores. I beg your pardon. It's turn act, the defenseman who came right down the slot. Tampa Bay leads one Nothing. We talked about Brayden point being an all around player, so it looked like Montreal had an odd man rush. And it looked like they were going to end up with a good scoring chance when they carried the puck over the Tampa Blade. Tampa Bay Blue Line pass came from the right side to the middle of the ice. And hustling all the way back was Brayton point to make a defensive play and very quickly when he made the defensive play, Tampa Bay goes the other way. About five seconds later, the puck ends up In the Montreal net for a league Eric Turn Act did not play games five and six of the semifinal because of an upper body injury. He has his first of the playoffs from pallet at 6 19 in the Lightning League game. 11 Nothing. Gallagher from out of the Montreal's all battles the puck the center as he's hounded by Coleman on the back check. Right and get possession and right through center ice. It's flip back into the zone by Barkley, Boudreau Johnny Gord written off the puck behind the Net. Nice play by Sharratt, who had a good angle and then comes away with the park. He carries the center and banks it into the Tampa Bay zone. It's back to center, encountering his gored once more for the lightning pulls up on the right boards, tries to find a trailer, but his pass goes through. Savard and Dino able to battle it back to Weber, who tried to give it back. But, you know, is going to the bench for a change, like gold turn a regroup for the lightning out of their own zone. David Savard, who came over at the trade deadline from Columbus, moves it ahead. Killorn coughs it up at center. Paul Byron for the Canadians chips it back into the Tampa Bay zone. Savard goes after it. I'm out of the right corner throws it to center Jeff Petry handles it there for Montreal. Savard, old teammate from Columbus, Josh Anderson with a big hit on him in the corner. It's just a welcome mat, right? You're no longer friends. I don't think Tam Post bumped off the puck deep in the Tampa Bay zone, but it gets some support and it's wound around the near boards. Some hard battles it ahead. Not quite out. How can he and he couldn't keep it in and back. The other way comes Anthony Cirelli. He gets center red dumps it in the Lightning goal for changes. Eight minutes gone in the first period. One Tampa Bay, Petrie goes up the middle in his past, redirected deep into the Tampa Bay Zone turn, act, the goal scorer back to get it. It goes all the way around the boards and out to center where Eric Stall handles it for the Canadians. John Merrill former University of Michigan stand out the native of Oklahoma City, lobs it right back into the Tampa Bay zone. McDonough goes hard around maroon on left wing through center. At maroon one cups in each of the last two seasons, one with ST Louis and one with Tampa, trying to go for three in a row. Be the first since 19 eighties New York Islanders to do that. Now Hedman regroups back in the Tampa Bay zonal crowd is into it. The early lead belongs to the defending champs. Rudo winds it around into the Montreal zone calendar. Has it knocked away behind the net. Sharon gets their turns it over, popped in front of quick shots by Gaudreau went over top of the board tried to wrap it around from behind. And that one pinball just wide of the far post. Example. Bay dangerous here in this opening period and Meryl forced to just play it out Center. You know rifles and ahead. Gallagher gives it back to him as he speeds into the Tampa Bay zone goes backhand, but Hedman knocked that away. Board picks it up. Try to chip it past Gallagher on the right boards, but he failed and Dino to the corner for liking it. Finnish native gets it back to Weber at the point slides it now left point. Edmondson waits for traffic and angles it purposely off the end boards. It was stuck on the back of the net for a split second. Up the wall. Edmondson pinches to try to keep the puck in his Montreal has Tampa Bay him did a little bit here and Hedman reverses it around. Rueda gives it right back. Nearly halfway through the opening period. Pardon me, John. But that's the beauty of having a third line for both teams that not only can defend, but when they get a chance to get scoring chances both did against each other. On this last shift, Brayden point turned away in the neutral zone. By Tyler Napoleon. Montreal possesses again. Suzuki leads it up the right boards into the Tampa Bay zone, but McDonough plays it back. No icing, so out to plant is Carey Price. And they have added an assist to breaking point after he made the defensive play. Sharratt dumps it in and around the boards to the right corner. Suzuki keeps it into holy wanted to give it back to him, but he was tangled up there with McDonald's. Savard moves it ahead and Kucherov quickly diagonally through the neutral zone. Out of the reach of collapse, who will turn back and get a change Petri handles from Montreal in his own zone. He and Sharratt now trying to work out The breakout as the Canadians finished changes. UNAMI winds it up speeds to center on left wing dumps it around the boards and vasilevskiy back to play it. So it gets there and we've got a delayed offside. I believe they call this Isis I don't know. I believe so We'll see. Uh, I believe it's just an offside. So indeed, we will step aside. One think Tampa Bay in Game one in conjunction with NBC Sports. You're listening for the Stanley Cup final on.

"Is fresh AIR let's get back to my interview with ed young a science writer for the Atlantic who's been writing about covert nineteen two years ago in an article titled is America ready for the coming plague he more or less predicted the current epidemic the reasons why it was inevitable and why we would not be prepared one of his recent articles about possible scenarios for how the pandemic might end and what the aftermath might be one of the problems we're facing is that there aren't enough masks there's not enough protective equipment in general for doctors and nurses there aren't masks for citizens who you want to use them there aren't enough respirators their shortages of other things and you say that part of the reason why is the Byzantine global supply chain what are some of the things that have gone wrong in the supply chain or they're just like don't work about the supply chain in a time of a pandemic like this yes so I'm the medical system runs on a just in time economy much like the rest of the world and products are made to order and they depend on these very long international supply chains and many of which are fractured in this pandemic so for example bay province where the pandemic first took off in China is also one of the world's leading centers for manufacturing medical masks server that the fact that the pandemic hit that region first and hardest really leads really exacerbated the shortage of medical supplies so there's also no shortage of the swabs that people used to collect viral samples is the very first step of testing and one of the companies that manufactures the that lead to the manufacture of those swaps is based in northern Mississippi which is one of the the centers of the pandemic in Europe these problems all it's certainly unfortunate it's really about the lock out both of those regions were particularly hit but you could envisage the same problems for all sorts of other areas I think this is what happens when you you rely on a medical system that depends on these large international chains and that really don't have a lot of capacity to to flex in search in the event of a crisis and that's especially bad now because the pandemic is spread so quickly that the entire world is facing down the same problem at the same time and is off to the same supplies at the same time which really have stretched many of the supply chains to to breaking point everyone is after the same supplies and there aren't enough of those supplies to go around everyone is being is competing with each other instead of cooperating because the crisis has spread so quickly what is the alternative to a decentralized hospital system I think what we need now is better centralized coordination at the federal level I'm sorry one possible way of doing that is to tap in a large logistics agency that is capable of coordinating the nation wide deployment of tests and supplies that is currently needed one one option is the defense logistics agency which coordinates a military operations overseas very experienced in the joysticks and they have helped in a previous crises like the the like America's response to the two thousand fourteen Ebola outbreak I mean doesn't have to be done but that definitely does need to be some kind of centralized coordinated leadership to ensure that that supplies and testing kits all all manufactured to the level we need them and that they are distributed equally and and and equitably across the country you've written about why creating a vaccine for this virus is so difficult and that vaccines in general life of flu vaccines viral vaccines in general have not been considered very profitable for pharmaceutical companies why are they consider profitable one the flu comes around every year and so many people get flu shots I'm sorry the flu is actually an interesting exception in that there is a there is a consistent annual market for that and a large industry that knows how to make the vaccines if this were a flu pandemic we would actually be in better stead because because current vaccine infrastructure could easily be ripoff this to dealing with whatever new strain was was circulating around the world as it is it's not a flu vaccine it's corona virus there are no existing vaccines for that because such farces were either deems to be very miles there are several that cause common colds like conditions or to be very rad as as in the case with the original saws virus or nuns so there wasn't a ton of impetus to create new vaccines which means that currently we have to start from scratch and the prices of vaccine development is very long I'm the first step so far has actually been encouragingly quick a a vaccine candidate has already entered early safety trials I'm off to a record breaking the short time from actually identifying and sequencing the genome of this new virus but this is the the journey from these first trials to actually having a product that you can shoot into people's arms is very long and hard to short caught you need to know whether the vaccine is safe whether it triggers an immune reaction then you need to know whether it's actually effective at preventing infections you need to know what dose to use how many doses to use whether it also works in elderly people who are more at risk all the steps take time and if you don't go through them you might run the risk of product of creating a product that has really severe side effects all that is rolled out widely but just doesn't work so the experts are spoken to feel that it will probably take between twelve and eighteen months to even develop a walking vaccine let alone than to create the manufacturing capacity to create enough doses and then to distribute those doses and to actually inject them into people this is not going to be a fast process and until that process is complete the cove in nineteen is going to be a part of our lives if you're just joining us my "How life changes for example Bay Buccaneers fan what what do you what do you think Tom Brady still has enough left in the tank to raise the level of that team to make a playoff run like Brady was used to making in New England keep in mind this was the first time this year in a decade but the patriots didn't play in the AFC championship game mail crazies and a lot of that has to do with the fact that a by every year and a big reason if the buyer for years because they played in a horrific division but still credit where credit is due that's a remarkable streak the path is going to be a little more difficult in Tampa Bay but what do you think Brady what do you think you can elevate them or not it's still gonna be a wild time to be a Buccaneers fan when of the Buccaneers made a deal like this where you've got a gigantic name coming to Tampa like that my guess is probably Jon Gruden right it's probably not even a player it's probably a coach right that's probably the biggest thing to happen to the Buccaneers from a star power standpoint since they traded for Jon Gruden back in in in between the two thousand one two thousand two seasons Hey if this works out as well is that it means that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gonna be winning their second Super Bowl championship but there were stories already of a long queue a long line of people I would imagine not in person but a a a virtual line of people queue of people trying to get their hands on season tickets for the Tampa Bay bucs say they were there for the Tom Brady season or seasons he signed a two year deal fully guaranteed so and we know the Brady wants to play the the number he floated out there a few years ago was forty five but who knows he's not the Tom Brady of old he's still one of the ten or fifteen best quarterbacks in football if he's comfortable with not being the absolute Tippy top best quarterback like he was just three years ago when he was the MVP of the league he can play for a long long time keeps himself in great shape I. eight five five two one two for CBS still a lot to get into but I want to work some of you on the phones and get your thoughts let's R. let's go to Aaron in Dallas Erin your up on CBS sports radio Hey thanks for taking my call for sure yep well I got a chance in the mid nineties this is more exciting but one of one of our focus on is not just a short term prospects are bright about genocide making our team better this year because the next year I'm not aware of what's on that the gathering James with the three national accurately settle expected to get into the game now I mean you cut that in half a year after G. which is double the number in the river thanks for joining us four years alone yeah but the weapons you have you ever looked at your team you can read defenses of the bestselling project near Lancaster didn't get separation so I'm I'm here to pick about that but I'm just excited to be relevant but I can absolutely don't board I'm excited about the culture change that could potentially bring this team it's been a wellness for almost two decades they want a playoff game he generated a very they haven't felt well each about seven they're all generations of people that don't even know who the bucs are in healthcare but I just think his impact on the team from the front office the players when they see a true professional makes you the greatest ever play thank you to have a project to land I think it can absolutely be a sea change direction moving forward beyond this year yeah out all have been your thoughts I don't I don't agree with everything you said from a cultural standpoint I mean they can't help they can't help but but be raised up our culturally in that locker room just in terms of what the the work habits might be or be the the focus on winning the little things all all the cliche things there with Tom Brady and you're further along they don't feel like cliches like it's one thing to just take any aging player and just because they've been around for a while say that they're going to bring some of that to the locker room Philip rivers in Indianapolis you know what I mean like Phil Philip rivers it by all accounts his teammates loved him great leader super careless with the football makes mistakes at the worst possible time you know in other words I I don't know that I don't know what the locker room environment is in Indianapolis to where I can just are firing off cliches about Hey they can't help but be raised up by Philip rivers in this maybe maybe not Tom Brady yes Tom Brady six time Super Bowl champ I feel I feel perfectly comfortable throwing around the cliches for what he can do and it's just such a weird thing I weird enough that we're gonna seem in a Tampa Bay uniform to forget about the Tampa Bay could have one of the most conservative iconic uniforms in the league like like I literally it's gonna be weird seeing minutes have a uniform but beyond that it's it's there's a lot of things make sense about it if you just take the words Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of it if you just look at the roster in the head coach where they're at as a as an organization the defense pretty good better than it's been in in recent years there's a lot of directly that lines up but it's Tampa Bay like they haven't won a playoff game since the Super Bowl in two thousand two it's just it that part feels strange now I think it's pretty cool the ringgit breeze versus Brady twice this coming season assuming we have a full season they were gonna get Brees and Brady twice I think is is pretty awesome anxious to see where they slot those games on the prime time board eight five five two one two for CBS if any import it's free if they have the same if everything's equal the last year if everything's equal and Brady just cuts down the interceptions to fifteen from thirty it's probably a ten win team look I I watched week sixteen every snap of the game the Texans play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week sixteen with without Chris Godwin and without Mike Evans and Tampa Bay only lost a game by three and J. Mr four interceptions including a pick six Janus lost games for them like a lost games literally he was the reason they lost I let's go back to the phones let's get Andy who is in Atlanta A&E you're up on CBS sports radio how are you Hey Sean I'll call a man doing good doing good things Hey Sean though I don't know I'm a big fan of the Atlanta Falcons year man and this tank ready some of the Tampa Bay man it it really sucks you gotta worry about drew Brees and Brady and you don't want no dairy queen he probably should have required a last year I think the last you know six to at last season's biggest job but I think it's just really a smokescreen man I I just don't think he's the man for the job but you know with Matt I think will be okay in order to get you on the ground you gotta get pressure up the middle and you don't really need you know sure every time we play stop ready but I just don't think we can all take a software I appreciate the phone call any hate you my first reaction Byron Atlanta fan in Brady's coming of the division is and similar to my reaction is a Texan fan with Philip rivers coming in the division Brady's better player than rivers but what they have in common is that they're both about probably like seventy percent of what they were at their peak powers but this is a this is not a a peak elite version of Tom Brady that's coming to the NFC south they're probably improved over what Jameis Winston gave them last year Janus is still out there on the market place to be had and we can get in with the quarterback situation is around the league the musical chairs what a wild year for quarterbacks but my first reaction of our falcon fan is in the division just got a lot more fun you know what I mean this is not Patrick Mahomes showing up to play for Tampa Bay that would be something we are crap this is fun man you're gonna get two games against drew Brees in two games against Tom Brady and I think it land is gonna have a pretty good sporting chance in those games they weren't a great team last year but they were really good in the second half of the season did anybody more improbably fish their job out of the fire then Dan Quinn in Atlanta who bad football team in the first half of the season they were one and seven at one point and I'll give him credit the team played art form in the second half of the season we'll see I like to Todd Gurley signing he swapped amount if Freeman out there for Todd Gurley we'll see I'll be S. but any I would tell you may be excited about that man the games have some juice more juice than when James Winston was there that'll be fun this is not a world beater version of Tom Brady that's coming in the division embrace it we live in a world without sports any sports should be embraced trust me you're gonna like it when he gets back you won't be saying oh crap you'll be tailgating you'll be ready to go home.

"We've never narrow a fine and i think a lot of players i that i love either so i was always a very promising player. He the under twenty world cup with with our great generation of players born ninety-three like poke by for example bay never really kicked on from there and we've seen him making mistakes last season and the season before and this season as well and and clearly he was not good enough for what we are hoping to achieve one day which is winning the champions pins league and and with the money they probably would have even try to get even someone bigger or better than novice but they're finding kim says with a better keep it in their hearts with saudi second. Go keeping says you'll recall as well and all that will feel much better equipped in doc position than what they were for days before check. You love that costa rican. Keep on you i do. I think killer now without question the most underrated goalkeepers football. I think we have one of the best football no <hes> they've been looking for for for quite some time to win the champions league three times right. I mean the thing you have to say okay now is he was a perfect fit for real madrid on on what they needed when they needed him to be on you. <hes> two years ago i i was in that i think he will kutu are as a goalkeeping might be a slight upgrade on kale navas know all of a sudden you look at kuchwara and what what he's doing since arriving early blinn abou- not anywhere near as good a fit and they won't and we we see hokey lanao perform in paris but at madrid a- all we've seen of killer navas in european football without question for me one of the best in you know we on this program raising concerns about the defense yesterday but in that department tom that's that's a massive upgrade. Isn't it great. I'm surprised that typical two hours putting in front of them <hes> for real madrid. I think you know he wasn't for periods last season and decided to go with him but i actually think nevada is a goalkeeping courtois so good sign them from me. No qualms alley not at all and if your caterer now as the question that you ask ask you go to the has the airport melody way two pairs say what did i do wrong right. Why am i having to leave. What is it that i didn't do that. I didn't bring to this call. Now have have to go to p. S. g. but for him is a move to a place in which he's gonna play. He's going to be appreciate it and we will look back to their decision and thinking wait in a minute. We were busy chasing that. We'd the hair were busy chasing and all the while we had a goalkeeper here all all he did was sleep this team to three champions title. Sometimes you don't understand where the decisions are coming from while talking the champions league jewels got a relatively straightforward draw nigger. Yes they have around madrid. A gallon tanks orion <unk> the the two giants of course will be heavily favored to get through. What do you think they still possess. Arguably to the don't five plays in the game and indian name are the the automakers make them sixth favorites to win the champions league behind you a real madrid livable. Ah manchester city but julian it has to be still the main goal for the season right. It has to be all <hes> at least there has to be better than the last few seasons you know and nothing this semifinal will be the objective. They're not ready to win even with name all by his base even combat pay firing thing like we've said before the shoes over the balance of that team i think as you shoot defensively as well on the food bucks for example. I don't think that weather played on the rise. Whether that's get al mooney young young akbar or even the left with bow nuts or whoever else that's that's not good enough and not what's great in golden and certainly you would win them games..

So that we can get an ICAO one on one on dusk before we get into dusk. Why don't you guys tell the listeners who you guys are? So I have roughly twenty years of experience in a complex system developments that started my career in classic control system. So whenever you are flying over Italy or southern Europe Europe flying and a piece of code that I contributed to develop back in two thousand and one then I moved to a lot of different places. And I ended up to be the research and development director at tom-tom addition company, and I created trophic service that right now is serving two hundred and fifty million ultimately devise all over the world, and then I fell in love with the idea of consensus methodologies, and you know, there isn't. Three anything that is more pertinent than blockchain. So I had the coal like, you know, like like a software monk to drop everything I was doing and to start researching the topic after searching for why the consistent amount of time together with my call or a full given to alley we created the dust network. So I'm technologies she will. But I'm on Senator nursing so five years. Business lead up to us network have a bit more of a business background. But it's always been linked to technology. I used to work for -application blood from Starbucks that was recently acquired by Siemens spent a good chunk of my career at shell the energy company where I work in their IT and technology departments. Some of my chiefdoms dare were building date up left for things like offshore wind farms working in the renewable energy states and going to start up the enterprise blockchain team at at shell which is really odd like into the space, and then as I kind of got into blockchain from the tech side. I'd started to get more and more into it from the gun at their mission lists cryptocurrency side as well. And then ultimately or very similar the goal because strong. So I and that in my letter of resignation that shell and. Ventured out at the wide world of blockchain, and then I've been working on those for roughly a year now. And finally, it's in the shape or we're taking public said. It's very exciting trust. Yeah. Ben. It's very exciting time. How did you to meet? We started into blockchain space, basically consulting from both of our apps, right, sir. I might have Athere Jerry technical firm, the help of things like development and maintenance system design, and I had a more business than marketing focused firm help things like go to market strategies, and fundraising and getting the right exposure. And we we worked a little while for sheriff client, and that's kind of where we got in touch with each other hit it off way more with gun of our respective companies than with that customer at the time, and that kind of evolved into the collaboration that has now doesn't work. The dusk network bromance? Exact. Exactly. Romance story guys. Let's get in the dusk. I want to start with the end result. First and then work backwards into the technicals or the one on one of dusk. I want to take crypto ones Johnny on a ride to imagination land without all the technical jargon. You have Johnny closes is in a magin the world as it is today. Then you tell him to imagine a world now with dusk network in it. What does an everyday world? Powered by dusk looked like a world. With bills network is basically a world where you can know have all the good things about privacy whilst also being compliant with all the all the regulators. So what we're trying to do is build a protocol that enables kind of blockchain reality that is not just convenient or easy to build. But that is actually usable in the real world. So you can SA. SO you can for example bay for anything you want. Then after Behmen be completely private without being shady or regulates on friendly for you.

"UN Security Council that at the end to twenty seventeen in September, put forward this idea of having this panel of eminent experts as they are called to try and do some independent evaluation of these allegations of violations of international humanitarian law that have been going on in Yemen. So they really only began that job at the end of twenty seventeen in December twenty seventeen. And so, yes, this is the first report that's come out. So it's been, it's been quite long time to get this far and the main findings from the report on while the main findings from the reports are as you mentioned that they've seen evidence of violations on by all parties to the conflicts, but that the main civilian casualties. Have been caused by the Saudi you a coalition in the form of strikes and the the. The other issues, such as what's been now become cooled, the defacto blockade. So the import restrictions on Yemen who are also indications of folly of international humanitarian law that the shutting down of airports tickly sonar airport. The remains closed to civilian traffic is in fact violation of international humanitarian law. Of course, the issue is with all of these kind of allegations. Firstly, violation of international humanitarian law doesn't necessarily mean it war crime, but it see issue over prosecution and what really happens after this kind of report, which is sort of forty one pages, long details. All this evidence. And often has been the case. These kind of reports are often quite toothless particularly from the UN even the US. Although this sector defense Martha said yesterday, that support for the Saudi coalition isn't unconditional. There's very little indication that's members and Security Council will certainly be looking to take any heart action against the Saudis all the UAE or other parties, the conflicts. But I think what may happen is other bodies or other activists and private legal cases may use this kind of report as evidence. You got the campaign against the arm trade, for example, in the UK who took the British government to the high courts with the judicial review over the continued sale of weapons and arms to Saudi Arabia because of concerns over civilian casualties. That was. No successful case, but they have appealed. And that appeal is due to come up at some point late this year, and this kind of report will very likely become additional evidence in those kind of cases. And again, there are also lawyers across Europe pan in the UK and in the US looking at the possibility of taking private cases against companies or states, for example, bay systems, Lockheed Martin Raytheon, the companies that all selling arms to decide as in the they, they will be looking at this kind of report to see if it can be used in evidence in those kind of cases because of the indications of international humanitarian law. It could be good, you know, significant ever evidence for those kind of private cases that that could arise as a result of what's been going on in Yemen. You mentioned the US justification. Has there been any response from other bodies named as culpable. Well, the reports actually stopped short of naming other parties to the conflict. So it says the. Everybody should basically stop selling arms may be used in Yemen. And so that could include Iran on one side, supporting the heat, or it could include the UK or the US, Canada or other European countries have been supplying the Saudis and the and the Muratti. So it doesn't name them specifically. And so, but what it does indicate that they are all complicit in this conflict. But I think at the moment that has been, there has been no response from from the UK government has yet to this specific report, but I think we only have to look at the language that has come out both the US and the UK who the main two arms supplies to the coalition over the course of this conflict and it all comes down to them maintaining that diplomatic support for the Saudis, and while also trying to cool out the coalition over these kind of massively and casualty events, but without putting actually significant pressure on them at.
