David Goldman: China Is the Most Formidable Strategic Competitor

"David, I want to play to you a couple of video clips from the man who sadly bears the title of commander in chief first was from the campaign for election and then the second one is from actually the Oval Office. So this is Biden before he was president. China is going to eat our lunch, come on, man. They can't even figure out how to deal with the fact that they have this great division between the China Sea and the mountains in the east. I mean, in the west, they can't figure out how they're going to deal with the corruption that exists within the system. They're not bad folks, folks. But guess what? They're not competition for us. Not bad folks not a competition, then I guess he was mugged by reality and this is what he had to say a few months later. Our last night, I was, I was on the phone for two straight hours with Xi Jinping. And you all know as well as I do. These folks, and it was a good conversation I know him well. We spent a lot of time together over the years. I was vice president. And but, you know, they're going to get moving, look at these lunch. Not competition, or they're going to eat our lunch. You're the expert you've literally lit a written the book. Which is it? Tell us China is a competitor or somebody who's going to take it all away from us, David. Well, China is the most formidable strategic competitor. The United States has ever had. And it's ascendance to a place of dominance in the world where bankers poor, less secure and generally quite miserable. So I'm against it. The thing to remember is that 40 years ago, excuse me. The average Chinese was making $200 a year in U.S. terms. Now it's closer to $20,000 a year. No other country has brought so many people up the income scale so fast.

Why YOU Will Get Audited by the IRS Soon

"Who's ready to get audited? I'm gonna get blunt to the point. Straight into the point and be blunt. It's likely you are going to be audited sometime soon. Senator Kristen sinema has decided to join Joe Manchin in what they call the inflation reduction act, which is anything but the inflation reduction act, but Democrats are getting even sneakier in how they are branding what actually increases inflation to hurt inflation, but they're doing it for marketing purposes. The inflation reduction act of 2022 appears to have a good shot of being signed into law. One of the things it does is it expands the internal revenue services, power, authority, and expands their staff. The inflation reduction act hires 80 7 thousand new IRS agents. 80 7 thousand new IRS agents. Currently, there's about 600,000 audits that are done every single year. 600,000 audits. The IRS says they'll now be able to perform 1.2 million audits in the next couple of years, doubling the amount of annual audits that are done. Doubling.

Even Caitlyn Jenner Recognizes the Transgender Divide in Sports

"Was fortunate to have played for the men's team because I was not man enough to have played for pat summit. But I did get to work with her closely in the women's team. But there were distinctions between how men play basketball and women play basketball. We had limitations. You couldn't jump. You couldn't try to block shots because that's not what the women's game was. You know, you've got transgender athletes now. Former athletes that are like Caitlyn Jenner that are telling us that even they see the distinction in men and women competing with men trying to be pretending they're women. You know, if you look back at the Olympic records during Bruce Jenner's time as a man, when he was a decathlete, he had ten events. He wasn't the best in any of the events in the world in terms of athletes, but overall the ten sports, the ten divisions that he played, whether it was track whether it was high jumping with his pole vault, there were ten sport activities that he did as a decathlete. If he had competed in those individual sports as a woman, instead of a man, he would set world records in almost all of them. His hundred meter time, for example, 1976, as Bruce Jenner would have been a second faster than the fastest woman sprinter in the world at that time. So Bruce Jenner now Caitlyn Jenner recognizes that men and women should not compete, but the Democrats don't get that. They're still trying to destroy women's athletics by putting men pretending to be women in many cases, not even having done any genetic surgery or any genital surgery to change their physique. And yet they're walking around in locker rooms as guys surrounded by women. And yeah, Democrats don't see anything wrong with that. They can't define woman, they can't define when these decisions can be made. You've got some states now that are wanting to force, I think, Pennsylvania is saying that the Department of Education that kids can identify as transgender as young as three.

We saw Eric Schmidt, the attorney general over there when the nomination in the battle of Eric's Donald Trump chiming in with an endorsement of Eric with two candidates having the same first name, Eric Schmidt ended up getting the win and will face off to try and make sure the Missouri Senate race stays in Republican hands and then down in Arizona. Carrie Lake finally gets the final nod that she's the winner in Arizona. Maricopa County, Phoenix that screwed up the 2020 election has done no progress in getting any further along at being able to actually count votes and get through an election process. You know, you've got other countries where they can literally hand count ballots and they can do it in 24 hours. Maricopa County can't even get it done in a few days and they had chaos, they had confusion, like we saw in 2020, despite all the denials that there was any election problems in Arizona that it didn't get stolen from Trump, but a big week there, and then in Tennessee, where we're broadcasting from in Memphis, Andy ogles wins the Republican primary in the Tennessee 5th congressional district. Last night, as Republicans redrew that district in Tennessee, it's been a 9 congressional district state for a while. Traditionally, you've had 7 Republicans to Democrats in recent years. Well, with redistricting, Republicans redrew the lines in Nashville, dividing Nashville up, adding some of the suburban counties to it. And for the first time for the first time since reconstruction, the Civil War, Republicans have an actual shot to pick up Nashville and probably do that new district is about a 12 plus Republican district Donald Trump carried it by over a dozen points,

There's literally a patch of dirt and a paving stone with her name on it. For a tax break, it's so Donald Trump, isn't it? Right. It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. And when he applied for the permit to have the cemetery on his golf course, for his tombstone, he wants a 16 foot high obelisk. And that became contentious at the permit meeting in the town of bedminster. I'm not even joking, right? So do you think Donald Trump would be satisfied with a paving stone with his name card? They didn't even spring for sod. If you saw the pictures, it's just I had a more elaborate thing for my cat when I buried up in the backyard.

But nevertheless, here on Time Magazine on the cover, Britney griner and the fight for freedom. Now what's the fight for freedom? She's been arrested in Russia for illegal drugs. And you know, I know when it comes to my own case, people love to go, will you pleaded guilty, didn't you? So, you know, what are you complaining about? You obviously deserve whatever penalty they gave you. Even if they locked you up for ten years because you pleaded guilty, well, Britney griner got 9 years or 9 and a half years. Well, you know what? She pleaded guilty. Uh oh. So. What's there to feel bad about? Yeah. Well, she probably gets treated better in prison than the January 6th defendants do. Well, you're making a profound point here, which is this. You know, this had happened 20 years ago, my reaction would have gone something like this. I would have said, you know, Britney griner needs to learn how great it is to live in America. When you're on some other country like Russia, you're not gonna get due process, you know, so, you know, here's a woman who's been taking a knee and sort of I don't know all these critiques of the founders and of America. When JFK Took Office, We Were Not Winning the Space Race

"The space race was something that was we were not winning. When a Kennedy came into office, we were not winning the space race. In fact, we were behind to Russia in the space race. Yuri Gagarin's space flight in the 12th of April in 1961 was a major embarrassment for John Kennedy because he was just, I mean, just a few months after the inaugural space that we have talked about here on the podcast, this is when it happens. And until that point, he had frankly Kennedy had not taken the space race very seriously. But he was shocked at the global response to Russia's triumph. They became an even more heightened sense of paranoia. Is Russia going to do a space? Are we safe anymore? Is Russia going to take over? All of this was part of the calculus when he first came in, was coming into office and then is this progressed. With all the other issues that he had going on, this presented a problem that he wanted to fix, we're going to talk about it here in a little bit more. How he began to look at he began to set The White House in motion to our space program to build it up to make it not only ahead of the Russians, but actually accomplish things.

Trouble in the Writers' Room at 'Rescue 911'

"There's trouble on the set of rescue 9-1-1 and it's such a bullshit situation, but this is the state of Hollywood now. Who the hell wants to be in Hollywood with all this shit? So last April, station 19 8 O episode that was hailed as one of the most powerful reflections of George Floyd's murder on television. It was written by an executive producer showrunner named Christa vernoff and some other people on the show's writing stuff contributed as well. More than a year later, an incident involving the depiction of racism on the page has left the writing team of the show reeling. It's got nothing to do with the writers recent draft of an outline. It has to do with what they hand it in. On the upcoming season 6 episode that included numerous uses of a racial slur by a racist character right away the N word pops up, right? So I'm hearing the script was assigned to a white writer who can white people write what bothers blacks or Hispanics, I don't know, the word in question this white writer used was beaner. It's a word that they won't even write in articles and newspapers around they won't even write the R took me a while to figure out what the fuck they were talking about. Beaner. You know, Mexicans pick beans. Okay. Derogatory, I get it. If you're a Latino descent, meanwhile, it's a term that the comedian Carlos mencia who was half Mexican would use all the time in his act and on his Comedy Central show. Beaner. I'm not even worried saying that word. I can't stand saying the N word. I've used that word to make a point. I've used it if I'm talking about music that contains the word or a discussion that contains the word. There's no reason to say it now, so I won't. But if someone brings it up and a discussion, they're talking about it, then I'll talk about it this controversy. But Peter, it means nothing to me. Nothing. So the guy ends in the outline and it's met with shock. It's not with disbelief. When he shares it with the writers room,

"evens" Discussed on Baseball Tonight with Buster Olney

"Doesn't seem like they're necessarily a strong sense of exactly when and how this happened. Yeah, and we keep hearing and it's true that he's a quick healer, but he's been heard a bunch of times, and I've heard more than once that, you know, eventually he's going to need, obviously, need surgery on the shoulder, and now he's trying to delay surgery on the wrist to make sure he can avoid maybe avoid that, but the bottom line is for a really young, strong athletic kid. He gets hurt a lot, and it's weird to watch because he's such a good player. And he's so good for the game. This is just such a bad development for the potteries. I feel sorry for them and him because this is not the way you need to start spring training, especially with a new manager. Yeah, and there was a lot of speculation in the industry yesterday. Will the Padres go and be aggressive in other parts of the team? Will they go and make deals that augment the club for this year? Here's the problem, Tim, is that they've kind of tapped out on resources to some degree unless they decide to spend more of Peter seidler's money, they have traded a lot of prospects the last couple of years. They have spent a lot of money. They're one of the teams had actually paid a luxury tax last season. I don't know if there's necessarily an easy place for them to pivot. No, I don't see it either. I don't see a free agent that they could just go get and rent for three months and then have tatis ready whenever that is. So I think they're in a bit of a spot. Jake cronin worth can play shortstop. Kim, the Korean kid, he can play shortstop, but you know, it's just not the you can move Manny Machado over there if you wanted to, but it's not the same when your best player is your shortstop. So they've got some work to do to get that thing better. What did you think of the Mariners blockbuster trade with the Cincinnati reds, taking advantage of the reds fire sale? Well, I loved it for the Mariners. Jesse winker is a really good hitter. And he's getting better every year. He has tremendous power and. Suarez was really good hitter a couple of years ago. And I know he hit under 200 last year, but he finished strong last year. And he's not going to have to play shortstop, which was a mistake in the first place, put him over there because I think it affected him offensively. So I think you add those two bats to what is a pretty good lineup anyway. And now you got a team that was on the cusp of making the playoffs last year and you add two more hitters for the middle of that order or close to the middle. I really liked what the Mariners did yesterday and I'm sorry. I feel sorry for the reds and their fans. This just doesn't seem fair that they've already moved two position players and lost Nick Castellanos to free agency and then traded sunny gray it just doesn't seem right that the Cincinnati reds have been around for a 150 years. It just doesn't seem right that these deals should be going on, but this is the reality of the world in Cincinnati. All right, a strange situation with the angels. I must tell you that, you know, last year as you saw the emergence of Brandon marsh as one of baseball's best defensive center fielders. And that's what I've heard. I haven't really seen play that much other than on television. I haven't seen him play in person, but people I speak has spoken with with other teams really think that's how good this guy is is a defender. And so the writing on the wall that at some point might trout has been the center Fielder is going to move to a corner spot. Marsh would be in center. And I assumed all along that there would be conversations this spring with Mike about that, much as there was the same way there was when Tory hunter was the angels center Fielder and they moved him to the corner to make room for Mike Trout. And then yesterday, you know, the day after Joe Maddon talked about moving trout to a corner, trout talked to reporters and said that the first he learned of this conversation was on Twitter. And then he mentioned that no, you know, I'm a center Fielder in my mind and by the end, the organization was kind of backing off, Tim, given Mike trouts, extraordinary personality, his generosity is a person, I can't believe how badly they botched this. I can't draw any other conclusion than Joe Maddon botched this. And I say, with great respect to Joe, who I think someday will make a speech in cooperstown for all of his work with the rays, being the manager of the cubs when they won 2016. But this was a disaster that would be would be even worse if not for Trump's personality. Yeah, look, we all understand not everyone, except for William Hayes, plays center field into his late 30s. I mean, only the greatest center fielders do that. So Mike Trout was going to move at some point, but you're right. You should never find out on Twitter about something like that and Brandon marsh has a chance to be a really good defensive center Fielder. He already is. But you're not moving Mike Trout out for a relative unproven kid who has a chance to be really good, but he's not an established player yet. And I remember when the reds moved Ken griffey junior out of center field, just how difficult that was. You have to go to your star player first and say, look, I'm going to bring this up today or this is going to come up. Just want to let you know, the fact that that apparently didn't happen is not a good idea by Joe manner or anybody else with the angels. I was covering the Orioles in 1996 when Davey Johnson told reporters, including myself that Cal Ripken was going to be moved to third base before he spoke to Kala about it. Now, I believe that Davey made the decision that he was going to tell the media first to box call in to because he thought Cal might be difficult about it. So he just wanted to get it on the record and then cow was very unhappy about it. The way that it played out, and that was the situation I was thinking of yesterday when this happened. Again, given Mike's personality, I'm just so shocked that they box themselves into this corner. All right. Yesterday talking Yankees camp was the trade for Josh Donaldson last year, Donaldson said some stuff about Gary Cole using sticky stuff. And that led to this meeting yesterday between Cole and Donaldson and Aaron Boone's office. Here's Brian cashman talking about all that. Yeah, called dare it last night to give him a heads up in advance just because of how the public.

There is a little bit of some, but it wasn't It was cool, but I think the guys that got off late Got some wind this afternoon. That's when Rory play and some of those guys played. So they had a little Tommy. Tommy Fleetwood. One of my favorite British golfers played well today and he played in the Gambinos team. Oh, yeah, good guy. Uh, So is there like you, do you communicate? I mean, I guess you we don't know what the woodwind what the weather is going to do, But I mean, do you think that this is going to be? Same exact as the switch except it has a land for which i mean is kinda cool and it does include sixty four gigabytes internal storage. Now i'm not so sure about the regular switches. But i have a switch light that came with no store so now at all i by one hundred on one mike. So when is this going to be made available. Because i know that there's been a run lately on the regular switch. The hit is october eight. They're looking at folks we order now and we'll here's a question about the chip. Is the chip going to be. Are they going to have the access to these. Because there's been some serious issues with getting the higher end systems out lately saw areas like are they going to get the system out any quicker Real like we stand thing. But i would hope if nintendo were were not wanting any other blowback compared to what they already have been getting for. This is that they would have it least already. Manufactured a certain amount of these before they hit the mark. Now let's remember then. Intendo is the home of artificial scarcity. They happen to like when their products are not available for others with the way with the we you with me bows all sorts of things. You know And in more recent years with digital games that are only available temporarily. Oh yeah I'm i would hope that they would have at least secured themselves at certain amount of stock before putting these out because putting out a council right now an unsure gang Because we've been hearing reports now like listen to some commentators like reviewed sack usa or others that it might not be till twenty twenty three when the chip shortage act. "Four winds and for that I feel good for him, and I feel good that if they close this thing out, Kershaw will have his ring and we'll have at least Somewhat adjusted his reputation as a October choke artist, whereas what was your takeaway from Game five of the World Series last night? Well when a tie with Kershaw, I'll say credit to Dave Roberts, too, because I think Steve Roberts has done a good job of managing to finally figure out a way to win a World Series here with the Dodgers but also managing Not to ruin everything that Clayton Kershaw was put out there and have everybody think what they want to think about Kershaw. He took her show out at the exact right moment last night. Six did it in Game one. He had him leave right before trouble could truly be brewing for him. And now, if we look at this, he's managed the bull pen the right way. Kelly, Jan's and obviously very questionable his clothes or anyway, we saw that on Saturday night, but If, in the end, the Dodgers figure out a way to win this, and I think they will, because even if you get to a game seven of Walker Buehler sitting there, Kershaw will have had his hand in two of the four winds, and Dave Roberts never allowed him to go far enough where he could have choked And had that been the ultimate blemish. Well, you know, Clayton Kershaw couldn't finish the job in the seventh like that story. Dave Roberts never allowed that happen, And I think the balance of Making sure that didn't happen for Kirsten will also making sure you're navigating this bull pen. The right way has been perfect, Managing for Dave Roberts in the Siri's here. The reality is that Kershaw is not as dominant as he Waas six or seven years ago, and because of all the October hiccups and meltdowns You can't trust Kershaw to go in there and those big spots anymore and dominate. You kind of know that that that the case of the yips might happen so every step along the way. Roberts has been a little early on his hook for Kershaw instead of being a little late, because Little Lake could mean everything unravels. And once again it's a disaster for the Dodgers and for Kershaw. So by being a little early as you said, he's protected the image and protected the performances off Kershaw. And now Kershaw on the Dodgers are on the doorstep of a championship. How insane was game Number four. It was Game four on Saturday night, one off the most memorable. It was very reminiscent of that twins and Braves 91 World Series where it felt like every game was crazy. That game Number four has got to be one of the craziest world Siri's games of the last 50 years, and it wasn't just the ninth inning. You is the swing's all leading up to it. But then when you get to the bottom of the ninth The just incredible theater because Eun OK Kelly Jansen, the problem he's had when he comes in that game you're thinking. All right. Maybe the Ray's gotta shut. Maybe the Ray's got a shot, but the moment of Ros Arena didn't hit one out. That basically give the raise the wind and they're bringing up Phillips and I even had the look of my folks who who was just and the Rays play in the A L East, and the fact that he becomes a hero, and not only that arose arena falling down is like the ultimate guess moment because this guy's had how many big moments in the postseason he's going to fall down and this is how they're not going to the game and he gets up, throw it. It is unbelievable The way that unfolded on. I learned a valuable lesson that night. A and that is when you see bets, odds and evens in Major league baseball. Don't take it because I bet an even number thegame would end in and because of Rosarito fell down. I had a shot at extra innings, get to other runs, and he scored and ruined everything for me. So I learned a very valuable gambling Lessing in that night bidding as well. Okay, well, that's a that's a win. Phillips is down to two outs, two strikes, Okay. And if the Rays don't get a clutch hit here It's a 31 serious lead with Kershaw coming up in Game number five. Siri's might as well be over, so they've got to get a hit here and the raises you said, Bring up a dude named Phillips that nobody's ever heard off. And, of course, down to his final strike Laces a base hit into center field to score the game tying run, Okay, They've tied the game up at this point in time. And then the thing of all things the Dodgers of boots the ball in center field, allowing a rose arena to circle from second and around third only because the ball is booted. The ball is booted. And so now the relay throw is coming in late. A Rose Arena is running around third base, and he's going to be meat at the plate, even though the relay throw where the throw itself is going to be late. After the boot. It's okay because a rosary Ana can't make it to home. As the throw is coming in a row. Zarina realizes this and tries to double back and falls down. Okay, Now, officially, you are toast. You're going to either be caught in a pickle, run down or just get tagged out. Because of the frantic nature of this arose Arena, who was the MVP of the LCS by the way, and nobody's ever heard of him until this season. The catcher for the Dodgers is seeing this out of the corner of his eye and gets distracted and as the throw comes in, he's got all the time in the world all of the time in the world because a rosary is on his face down the third base line. He gets frantic. Try to quickly catch it and scoop it and sway it right across the bag, Thinking a rosary is coming in and instead boots it Misses the ball entirely. Ball goes to the backstop. A rosary can now pick himself up and slide headfirst into home plate for the walkoff win. The whole thing was so insane. Every part of it is insane. It has to happen like that for it to happen like that, in in center field, it has to be booted. Rosaria has to be late on rounding third. He has to fall down, too, that the catcher kicks away the ball. Every part of it is so crazy and insane, and then the razor coming out of the dugout. And they're just chasing one another. Phillips is doing the airplane arms around center field. This is also a game that should have been played at Tropicana Field because this was game for it would've been a race home game. So they get the walk off. But it's like 80% Dodgers fans in attendance, and so they're celebrating almost a road game a neutral, staking everything about game number four. We will remember it's it's so it reminds me also of that. Was it. Rangers Cardinals the crazy comeback where the Rangers are down to their absolute It's one strike. It's one out. That's all they need. And the Cardinals and David Eckstein was it just come all the way back. There's all that crazy things that have to happen for the Rangers to lose that game. It felt a lot like that, Where you just go..

"Are eight to eleven to be promoted Charlton in evens. I'll stick with you Malam slightly surprised that Charlton. They're outside is, hey, what's your view? We kind of take the same of the office here. So I watch the Doncaster second Eggen, the entertainment heavens were very name wasn't it? Yeah. Yeah. I thought it was fantastic match. I taught at times organizational quality of chat was a little bit poor for such a big game. And, you know, in the end are probably quite fortunate to get the match the penalties after the, the go, and keep a hiccup. And just after they went behind seconds after kick-off actually nearly missed it with the Repub credit Judah, Don Cosme with the reader, while the put innovating despair, they've probably raise still game for the return, I and I actually have a couple of mayor to or something and find. So it'd be cheering them on and spirit. And this one, but in terms is the baton and even though I can't see too much separate the my brow to be on shouting at the price. And I think it's another game that is, is likely to go to extra time. I'll be happy enough to be on the draw here. So by two picks are nice boring draw at eleven to five, and then I, I like Charlton to just the edge and extra time at twelve to one and there's question marks over mccabe's fitness, but he probably start the game anyway. Which could be negative on the lads Radi like Lyle Taylor in here in the class above. So he could be the difference mayor on the day. So charming for me, just past the ninety you touched on. Something that has annoyed the head out all season when a goal goes in and they spend the next minute showing zillions and zillions of bloody replacement every single angle. And then you can hear the crowd cheering Connie and that they will miss a high profile goal. At some point eight percent scan we've seen the bloody go, we don't need to save from every single angle show the game Johns. In the YoM, expensive society guy, maybe not quite as good as vintage final between the sides, but I think he I think quite seems to school today some but given the regular season trends, seven of someone games teams above them of beaches by goes up by fans and an eight Charlton's turned against the top six Abacha off of the ploughs expected to, to make smoothie, progress will be one the way lighted on Coster. So that's a little bit of a across in that box that I'm. I mentioned live. Tyler is got. Plenty of threats from Johnson and an some Linda Bena been decent going forward is well-known cancer. Mike Miller is there and he throws plenty of time at one pitch at one quick out to begin this third inning runs. Learn the PawSox. Patterson? First time was hit by pitch in came around scores. Part of that seven run first inning for the vises. What again this has been so far the first to combine eleven runs combined twelve hits between the two teams. Now, the number nine man robot feels mafia lefty again and speech runs clips that offer a strike, and it's nothing in one feels had an infield single. And also scored in at first any. One breaking ball downstairs for ball one. He chopped one to the third base side that Chaves really had no chance on he saved a run from scoring at the time. Was unable to get fields going down the line. Runs. Lers? One one fastball on the outside corner. This time for a call strike at ninety one miles per hour. And it's wanted to. Back to that last half inning. The PawSox cynic ten minutes plate at four hits. And all of them were doubles to a call third strike on the outside corner. Another fastball out there for runs ler. Picks up his first strikeout at this relief. The baron scenario to away for Boba talks about how the PawSox bullpen was a little bit tonight. Anyway after the double header yesterday. "Well, maybe we'll see if the president's change congress changes a lot of things can happen. But in theory, it's twenty eighteen to twenty twenty-five where we have this lower kind of tax bracket area that you can take advantage of great time to maybe convert some of the four hundred. One k IRA money into tax free money. You gotta pay taxes in the conversion. But after that you get to use it all tax free. So that's our topic today. And you know, Matt you were talking about social security taxes. Well, wait a minute. Every time I got paid. I was paying so into social security. So why do I have taxes later? That's crazy too much money. They're going to get it another way. I guess. Yeah. It's it's it's it's an interesting thing to be honestly a lot of people. Just don't quite understand it that their social security is taxed again, we could be depending on how much earned income you have in retirement, and that's interesting because then it can be taxed again. And so people find that out. And I they're mad right? I'm not very happy about it. Right now. But then what happens? Right. Well, you should start to plan around that. Because that's my point. You can do such great planning and. The concept of understanding. And and what you said we're gonna talk about tax today. I think the value of the show that would least what I try to do is give some everyb- something every week that people can say, wow, I didn't really understand that. And that can benefit me. And if they want to come visit us, we walk through all this. But here's the thing. Taxes are on sale. There's just no way to get around it. And we have this window of opportunity. That's created the perfect storm to do some really good tax planning for income later on in retirement. And I think that's the important piece because you have to plan today to how when your dollars are distributed how they're all taxed and how they affect each other. So security's a classic example. Everybody's gonna have it some we'll need it more than others. But think about this for a second when when you look at social security most people think of it and try to make a decision very myopically writer in a vacuum. And they say what do they say? Right. Mark two questions. When should I take it? Well, first of all if you go onto the internet and say, one, should I take it all the gurus will say, we'll take it at seventy a half. Why? Well, that's easy. Because that's where you max out your benefits. But that's really not what you should be doing. And the reality is this. It depends is the answer. And it depends on your situation. It depends on where you other money. Is it depends on your spouse. It depends on when you're going to quit working. It depends on your health, and it depends on taxes as well. And so there are wonderful strategies. And so when someone asks us that we say, well, look when you everybody comes off as we run a social security timing report that report will tell you. What's the earliest, I should take it? What's the least amount will get what's the latest? I should take it or the maximum. What is other strategies that are involved? What am I break? Evens? What are my spouse benefits at tells you all these things, and then you're able to integrate that into your planning? And when you combine social security planning with Roth, conversion, planning and other distribution strategies. That's when you start to maximize your income in retirement, and I just can't stress it enough that people need to understand these things because they're not used to dealing with it while they're working that makes sense. Yeah. And it's it's really what you don't know. You don't know. So for somebody like me that doesn't work in the financial world..

"And he will get a ton of wins the Yankees. So that kind of evens out a little bit for me the three seventy six year from last year came with a two ninety six year. He still give you one ten whip. Even with those long balls actually doesn't surprise you to see that kind of gap because it was homerun induced with that ERA. Now, the biggest question, of course is innings. That's I think the biggest fear I'm talking about with bueller. And here's packs who had a career high with a hundred sixty last year. He's never made thirty starts. So those things combined really that would make me concern. Like, you are that. Sixteen the I'm probably not going to go with Paxton either. And you know, it's not that I'm so far down on him. I think my my lettuce rankings, and I'm going to have a new set up soon and just kind of looking at what I this is not one hundred percent. What's going to be posted in that update? But he was down at nineteen for Pakistan. So it's not like so far off on two of the guys that you mentioned specifically or guys that I really liked Jamison Tana love Jamison time way. You're gonna hear a lot of Jamestown. Love two of us coming into March. I would not be surprised if his price started to push job, I'm willing to pay the price pretty much up until about like twelve or so with with town. I'm really really excited about what he can do in a full season. And then might Clemenger those are the two that you mentioned that they alone were why you were going to say a little bit no on packs. Wait for one of those two. I like those two as well. Also, exactly guy. But he's going later. You don't really need to push them up by twelve or town. There is that what I was. I pay. But I I don't know we've been as close as we've ever band in this moment, I. So like, look what he just did it sort of just had was fantastic. And he really discovered that slider in mid to late may really took off with it. I still think there's some strikeout side in us some ratio upset, but even if he just repeated what he did right for say two hundred ten innings or just popped a top the two hundred Mark that's a huge season. I just I really like what Jameson Diana's capable of the fact that he got that slider such a game changer. I liked him. As is as a real solid number two type. But now adding that side or giving them a real swing admits pitch that's next level. And he did three twenty one eighteen last year one hundred ninety one innings I really think he can beat the three E R A Mark and be kind of one twelve or below with the whip and the strikeouts. There's there's strikeout per inning potential here. Tiny five percent carry is very much attainable. Exactly. So. I love what he's getting. Yeah. I mean, I could talk about time for a very long time. But I don't know. I I probably I think we'll have them right above bueller. Maybe fourteen I think that's might be where he's going to settle for me. I think that's exactly where I have them right now. And he's only to that got fifty XL's open right now. See? Have him. Dude. What'd you say? I said fifteen of fourteen Bubby I have I have them fourteen fifteen. Fourteen fifteen right now. So we are in low steps there has about people. We don't like right, right. So let's get back to that. The next the very next guy seventeenth starting her off the board behind paxton's again with both fading. And the the reasons should be obvious. No one can deny Stephen Strasburg talent when he's healthy. But when is that really happened when he actually healthy talk about somebody like Paxton the health concerns that he's had Strasbourg has shared a lot of do..
