Libby Emmons on the Frightening "Trans Vengeance" Movement
"Us now is Libby Evans, human events, and the post millennial she's one of the clearest thinkers on the trans issue. Libby, welcome back to the program. What a terrible couple days and what a disappointing news cycle that is followed of sensitivity to pronouns and trans people, but not to dead children, Libby, before we dive into it, just the floor is yours. Your thoughts and we'll go from there. Yeah, I would have done as you were Charlie when I saw on Monday that there was another school shooting. And it was even more shocking to see that it was carried out this time by a young woman, and that it turns out that that young woman actually believed that she was a male and used pronouns that were male pronouns. It was really a surprise to see that. And in the days that followed in the hours that followed, even more surprising and horrifying to perhaps not more horrifying. But pretty surprising was that mainstream media outlets started advocating for the use of these. He him pronouns and were prioritizing the use of pronouns over discussing the victims and the children that were killed. And things like that. So it was pretty surprising. Also, then we saw on Twitter, Twitter started banning people who were talking about this other thing, which is upcoming Saturday in Washington, D.C., several networks, some of them antifa affiliated all of them trans advocacy groups are organizing what they are calling a trans day of vengeance outside of the Supreme Court. And what is this even about? They're talking about bringing buddies wearing masks. So they think it's still the summer of 2020 out there. And they're still going ahead with this despite the shooting.

The Transgender Radical Who Helped Stoke a Dangerous UC-Davis Riot
"Now is Libby Evans, human events, and also the post millennial. Libby has done a considerable amount of research that helps me and also has been really helpful to all of us to learn about how the heck did the riot happen this week at UC Davis. And one of the reasons the riot happened is because an unsubstantiated Internet rumor that originated from a trans hoaxer called Aaron Reed, a man who thinks he's a woman. This hoaxer said that Charlie Kirk stands Charlie Kirk believes that trans people should be lynched. That is not just untrue. It is the opposite of the truth. It is against my beliefs and against my values. I never said it nor insinuated it. That then turned into the Sacramento bee. And then the UC Chancellor Gary may. Libya is with us. Now, Libby, what have you learned about this individual? Yes. So this person is Erin Reed, a trans activist, a male who poses as a woman, and goes on Twitter to talk all about various kinds of legislation that are being passed in the U.S. and specifically digs into those bills, tracks them, and also decided that your comments when you were speaking with swimmer Riley gaines were tantamount to calling for trans people to be lynched. Anyone who watches those comments knows for sure that that's not what we're saying. Anyone who listens to you speak also knows for sure that that's how you were saying you are often advocating for peace that happens repeatedly. Yeah, so reads comments were then picked up by the Sacramento bee and others. Who determined that read was correct without looking into it at all. And I was actually sort of stunned that then those comments actually made their way to the Chancellor of UC Davis where you were speaking on Tuesday and that Chancellor while not exactly repeating those comments clearly was under the impression that comments that those were accurate.

"Ramosa dot com. Is it just me? Or even Evans, you need to be worried about Diaz after last night's debacle. All right, that wasn't good. That wasn't good. That wasn't good. That one, I will admit. That one, if that was a boxy match, that was a punch that kind of staggered me a bit. Just a bit. Just a bit. Still on my feet. Still got my wits about me. Still ready to duke it out, but that one. That one rocked me a bit. Here's the question I have for you after the game last night. You know how I was one of those things like after watching the nuggets lose to Chicago, I got a little bit like oh. Little oogie. Okay. So you have to this one. And my question to you is hindsight being 2020. Did they make the right move on Georgia? More games than he's ever started more games than he's ever played, put him in this position, at least with Darcy Kemper. You had a guy who's been there done that. Bath fitters price guarantee is a slam dunk bath fitter. It just fits. Welcome to four down territory. Stinkin might take a look at the four biggest stories in Denver sports. Here's lariat and Evans kicking it off with first stop. Uncharacteristic second half from the nuggets last night who can not come back and pull away from their opponent as Chicago just kept racing further away from the nuggets and beat Denver one 17 to 96. Only the nugget's second home loss in their last 26 home games rare off night for Nikola Jokić, only the second time this season that he shot under 50%, 18 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, and afterwards was asked about all this talk about his MVP candidacy and how worthy he is. I'm trying to think that's not really a healthy environment. Instead of seeing description, he said, all this discussion, all this debate, what's been going on with ESPN charges of racism and bias and all that. His take on it is this not very healthy. It's an unhealthy conversation. Interesting word, it is. And I think he's, I think he's a 100% right. The thing I love about him is I truly, what a lot of guys say they don't pay attention. To what the media says and what all the buzz is out there. I don't believe they have a lot of guys that say they don't pay attention to have complete and total rabbit ears. But I really believe that Nikola Jokić does not care. I really believe that he is not paying attention. Just the whatever. You're going to talk about what you want to talk about. I really do believe that he is worried about winning. And I think that's the healthy part of it. He's just worried about doing what he has to do to help his team get a win every single night. Last night, hey, last night, he didn't have it. Usually at home, they get a W but last night, they're not. Tonight it didn't happen. Thank you, bud. The nuggets definitely looked a step slow and just looked off for the entire second half. How much you put in it? Is it a red flag? Anything comes out of it, or is it just simply something to just dismiss as one bad half, one bad night? I'm going to go with that until we see more evidence that this is starting to become an issue, but for now I'll just pass it off as one bad night. 6 of their next 7 are on the road. So I'll tell you what, I'll if you think that my hearing no evil see no evil approach to the nuggets is a little too carefree and you think that there are reasons to be concerned, it should pop up in these next 6 games, right? With 6 out of 7 on the road. Yeah, yeah, fixing to find out like Gary said. Second down. Now there was a silver lining to the nuggets lost, but it did not occur in Denver. It occurred in Phoenix. Where Kevin Durant was set to make his much celebrated Phoenix Suns home debut. Except during pregame warmups, he sprained his ankle. Oh, wow, there's a shocker. And was in a walking boot. After the game is going to have an MRI. Now the sons immediately are saying nothing to see here. Right. Very precautionary, but again, you're very fluent in speaking injury. I don't doubt that it's going to be a injury is going to be able to come back from. I believe that, but you're talking about a situation where even if under the best of circumstances, you're only looking at about 20 games for the suns to put all these new pieces together and gel. Right. And now he's going to miss a few days a week. What does that do? He's in a boot. He was in a boot, and a boot used in a boot, not a boot. It's not a boot the organization. No, this was a booth. He was actually in a boot. A boot. You say a boot and a boot. The same way in Canada, but it's two different meanings. It's like hair and hair. Or here and here. A boot and a boot have two different meanings. Do

"Scientific. Stuff. There is really eloquent. You went from clowns and castles to kings, and now just I was looking for scientific stuff. Huge. Some new science stuff. Stuff. We're going to make a volcano. On the text line, look, Deshawn Payton's staff looks like uncle Vic take two with a much better head coach, but we've been here before, so it is hard to get excited until he can beat the chiefs at home and make the playoffs. Okay. Yeah, I mean, that's fair. That's fair. Yeah, I'll give you. I'm here. I'll throw this question out. Yeah. You know how I like to take the temperature of the room from time to time. Correctly, of course. Yes. Speaking of which hurry up. Ask the question, quickly. Let's move on. All right, so I want to take the temperature. Broncos country in lightweight just told you about the reaction that the fans at the nuggets game gave Sean Payton is because you have give me one word to describe where you're at right now with the Broncos. Just one word to describe optimistic. Where you are. You're optimistic. All right. See what else you got out there, 303-713-1043. We got the morning brew coming your way. Mark, of course, is a very fluent in speaking injury. So what is to make of the latest on Gabe land is Scott. And it's always nice to see a bully get punched in the nose and have to take a step back. That was the case yesterday. We'll tell you what happened next. It's time for your morning brew, grab a cup of Joe and get caught up on everything you need to know. If you're schlereth and Evans, while we've come to expect a certain level of excellence from the nuggets, especially at home, and almost taking for granted that even in games in which they are trailing at parts of the game, even maybe trailing going into the fourth quarter. We still expect them to hit the gas and go, but having a one point lead at halftime they came out and got their doors blown off by Chicago in the third quarter and it became a route in the second half and the nuggets go down one 17 to 96. Michael Malone on what went wrong. Just no defense. I mean, we gave up 66 in the paint tonight. We only scored 38. I mean, there's a huge discrepancy in the paint. And all year long, I think we've been a top 5 paint quarantine. So that's a number that can't happen. And then the transition. They just got out and ran, you know, missed shot lay up, turned over, lay up. Only 11 Chernobyl was one for 18 points. And then I think we're up one at halftime. We got off to a decent start in the third, and then it just fell apart. So what is that? Is that fatigue? Is that just a bad night? You just, you know, for whatever reason, it's just a collective funk that the team was in to these things happen over the course of a long 82 game season. Yeah. I think that they do happen, Mike. Like I said, there's a little concern as athleticism and matching the really athletic teams. But more of it is exactly what Michael Malone said, you know, I think not playing great defense. You know, maybe taking maybe taking a team that's not great lightly. The other thing is, are you trying to hoist up three pointers because you're two, three pointers way if you're Murray away and he's one for 7 from three point line and doesn't make that. And it was a foregone conclusion. He's basically saying, yeah, I'm going to go break the all time record. Like you get out of your game a little bit. I think there's, I think there's part of that because he was one for three. I believe from three point land at halftime. Then he's zero for four in the second half. I think you get out of what has gotten you there. But I still, I still, there were times, especially as they were still down 13, 12, 14, trying to get back into the game. Where, especially offensively, they were running their offense like we typically would see them run it, but the shots just wouldn't go down. There'd be fumble passes. They'd throw passes away. It was just, there wasn't just that sharpness that we've become accustomed to with this team. It was just off. And for whatever the reason, but you know what? They have not, of course, the nuggets haven't reached for me the level of trust that I have in the avalanche. Avalanche, have earned it, right? But there's still a healthy amount of trust in this team that until it becomes a thing. I'm not worried about it. I'm just going to blow it off as just one bad night at the office. I'll give you that. Although, you know, that's something that I'll keep an eye on. Keep an eye on. Sure. Sure. It's not a thing, right. Until it becomes a thing. Next on the morning brew. We've got the abs and kings tonight, but first, a Jared bednar update on Gabe Landis gog's knee. My little bit concerned, yeah. I mean, he hasn't played all year. Do I think that he can easily come out of this and be fine? Yeah. I mean, he's putting in the work. So the only time will tell, you still don't. You speak me. You speak injuries. And bednar also revealed some new details that apparently this is not just one surgery that he's coming back from. He had a surgery last march before returning for all 20 postseason games. They had another surgery in October. But now, what we're finding out is that the two surgeries weren't related. So the surgery in March, then the surgery in October were not related. So, doctor schlereth, speculate for me. So are you telling me they're not on the same knee? No, they're on the same knee. But different surgeries. Interesting. Again, I keep going back to, I keep going back to what I, what I had told you, shoot this is about 6 weeks ago, we had this conversation about articular surface of the bone covering of your knee, and if you go in there and think I gave it, we're gonna calm it down. It's gonna be okay. It's almost like a bone bruise, and you go back in and you've worn off that articular surface, then you have to go in and have a microfracture surgery. It takes a long time. And that's one of those things having been through it. I probably had 6 microfracture surgeries on my left knee. And what ends up happening is, you know, you take one step forward and you're like, hey man, I feel pretty good today. And you go out and you press a little bit and then you're limping around for three days. And it's just a hard that microfracture surgery literally was like, there were more setbacks in that process than an ACL. Just because it's just not, it just takes time. So bottom line it for me. Just your gut feeling. I'm just asking you for a gut feeling, but you're well versed on this. You're kind of an expert on it. Just everything you're hearing. Where would you put the odds of gay blandish God returning this season? At. Returning, I would put the odds at. 60%. Just to return just to return. Just a little bit above 50 50. Yeah, okay. And then return and be excellent and be gay blender Scott. 10%. Wow. Okay. Next on the morning brew. Nice to see when the bully acts like a bully and then somebody stands up to the bully and the bully cowers, so yesterday on ESPN's first take, we found out that they're actually still in the hot take world of sports talk. There is still something called accountability as Kendrick Perkins found out. I want to correct something here from yesterday's show. What is this that you're so? You're so. Big. You're slower than Evans with this morning's biggest story in Denver sports. I was thinking about this, somebody brought up our pal Derek wolf in the afternoon as one of the hairiest guys at the fan. I don't, I don't know, I'm not gonna ask. No? He might take offense to that. And the last thing I want to do is get on Derek Wolfe's bad side. I don't think he would be offended by that question? No, are you Harry? What's wrong with that? But it got me thinking about wolf in a different capacity. For everyone saying, ah, why do you want a franchise tag, draymond Jones? Right? Yeah. He's an interior guy. Why you want to do that? Well, wait a minute. If we're talking about DJ Jones and draymond Jones, what if I had told you prior to the Broncos winning the Super Bowl in 2015 that I was making the case that, hey, you got to make sure that you take care of Derek wolf and Malik Jackson. Right. Think about their roles. In that Super Bowl defense and if you take in one or the other out, would this defensive Ben as dominant? Well, you did the next year, right? You took Malik out in that defense was in his dominant, okay? Still had the same back end, didn't you? Right? The Avon. So that's making my point. On a team that is so here's your word of the day. Bereft of good talent, top talent, why would you be in a hurry to let a guy who has shown himself to be a good player and ascending player? And especially if you can't work out a long-term deal, find player year to year. Pay him 20 million bucks a year, one year, $20 million deal. You got the money, you got the salary cap space. Yo, it's an interesting, it's interesting that you and you bring it up, Mike, but you think about one thing, what have we really truly learned about free agency over the years? The grass is not greener on the other side. Other people's free agents are not the answer to your problems. Usually. Now, there are the exceptions in every rule, but the old saying is the grass isn't greener on the other side. It's the greener worry, the grass is greener where you water it. And watering it, what I mean by that is you cultivate guys in your system on your football team, you grow those guys up and when those guys perform, you reward those guys. I believe in that, I believe in that system. I believe in doing it that way. Now, DJ Jones was an exceptional player. Of a free agent defense in San Francisco, but understand what he was playing in San Francisco. You had nothing but number one draft picks across the board. You had Ken law. You had Eric Armstead. You had, you know, for a time you had Buckner he went to Indianapolis, but you had Nick Bosa. Every guy on there, at one point, Solomon Thomas. Yeah, you could line up 5 defensive linemen at one point in that defense that were all first round picks. And so he was a really good player for them, but I think he got overshadowed when he got here, man. That dude played. He bolt out last year. And it's nice to have two guys that are problems. When you break a huddle, if you got a one dude that's a problem, easy to contend with. You got two guys that are problems. That becomes more difficult. You got three guys that are problems. Now you got issues up front. And obviously they didn't have three guys that were problems because Chubb wasn't what he once was with all the injuries and Gregory was hurt. Good text coming in this one. Mike Mark will you stop getting people excited about the nuggets. It's going to end in a heartbreak, no way the NBA allows this team to win an NBA championship. That's stupid. Sorry. That's silly. The team they beat last night, the Toronto Raptors. A team from Canada. Won the NBA championship in 2019. It's a good point. The San Antonio spurs. Yeah, they won 5 champions. Were a dynasty. Do you honestly think the powers that be? Wanted Toronto? To win an NBA title? If they could have had their pick of any team in the NBA, I'll put it this way. If you sat down with the powers that be, if they can indeed rig this thing and you ask them to rank one through 30, the teams that they would want to have a dynasty, I guarantee you San Antonio would have been, I don't know, 28, 29, 30. Sure. Absolutely. So I don't buy that. That's sorry. I appreciate the text, but that's a lazy powers that be that, listen, they would like the late Lakers and Celtics in it every year. I mean, in that the direction they would love to share, so yeah, here's the other thing. All you have to know is just continue to watch ESPN. Right now, I just looked up. Yep. Who's on there? Joker's wild, feeding it to Caldwell Pope. Joker, cut into the basket. Throwing an ALU Aaron Gordon. Like, all of a sudden, now you watch because ESPN is like, I mean, okay, and then get out of the parking schools. Okay, now they're replaying the Kendrick Perkins. JJ Redick's like, I can't believe this. And why are they Smiths? Are you kidding me? Why are they doing this right now? Like, why are they doing this with the nuggets right now? 'cause this reads like a children's book. This is like C dick run. I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam. I am, but would you like them on a boat? Would you like them with a goat? Would you eat them in it? That's what this is right now. What are they doing? They are introducing America to the nuggets who they've ignored all season long. This is great. This is awesome. My classes are 9 news Bronco insider. He is in Indianapolis at the combine. You know he's a gumshoe mode right now. He's got right now about an hour from now, Mike, Mike cliff is going to have a chance to talk to both Sean Payton, George Baden. I know he's got his, he's got his fedora hat. It says press in the front. Ready to roll and ask some really tough questions of the Peyton boys. Good morning, Mike. What's going on guys? Yeah, I'm trying to find some good plans to hire hide behind. Yes. Different setup here, as usual, it's a little bit better for the players and the coaches and the trainers. As it should be and a little more inconvenient for the media, you just keep going, you just kind of roll them. Hey, what is it for you that you're trying to figure out right now? What are the hot button topics for you that you really want answered by George Payton and of course Sean Payton? Well, for Sean Payton, the question is why Vance Joseph and not Rex Ryan? That would be one. Otherwise, it's all about the players now. The coaches are in the coaches are in position for the most part. They have a DB coach. Defensive assistant, those type of guys that they still have to hire, but the bulk of the coaching staff, as far as the coaching staff goes, it's as young on offense as Hackett's was, if not more so, which is interesting to me. You know, Joe Lombardi and Sean Payton on the top are experienced. But after that, it's a lot of novice type NFL coaches. And then on defense, it's got a lot of experience. Minus been around advance has been around Christian Parker now Marcus Dixon. Special teams, of course, has experienced with west off. And we are, I think I said that right. But a lot of experience on special teams, but very young on offense. And then after that guys, it's about the roster. It's stream on Jones and Alex singleton, I think, are there top two free agents. The guys that are going to have the biggest market out there and I think it's going to be tough for the Broncos to bring those guys back. We'll have to see how it flows as they get closer to march 13th, negotiating day. Do you expect them to use the franchise tag on draymond Jones? Right now I'm betting against it. It's 18 9 for a D tackle. 19 three or 19 7 for a defensive end, depending on which one he is. I think the Broncos think both those figures are too rich for draymond. What about, what about I'll say this? Let me add this. Yeah. I'm not going to be surprised if that's his market though. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised either. I think draymond is a potential star in this league. But I'll move on from that and ask you about Dalton risner, what are the odds that don't rise nor hits free agency? Are they going to try to work a deal with him? Yeah, all indications right now is he's going to hit the market. And see what his market is. And then I think the Broncos will stay in touch. They'll want to go on a chance to come in. And match or beat, they offer he gets, but right now I think he's going to, I think he's going to hit the market and any time these guys hit the market, you have to kind of plan on plan B so yeah, I think they've got some players that I think are going to be tough to Dalton. You know, he's going to get paid. Draymond's going to get paid. And you know, I think Alex singleton's got a chance to get paid. Be interesting, another guy that, you know, there's a couple others like deshaun Williams, who's been a nice steady player, came on wait four and a half careers, career most sax last year at 30 years old, he tried to get a little deal done with him. And then Kareem Jackson at 35, you know, history says that Sean Sean Payton lights that kind of guy. And if he's building his culture, he'd like to keep Kareem around a little bit. So maybe Kareem won't have to take a pay cut. He may not get much of a bump, but he may not have to take a pay cut like he has the last two years to come back. By cliff joining us from the combine, how do you think Payton Sean is approaching this? He's got, he's got job security. He's got, he's got the contract. He doesn't need to be in a hurry to try to fix this thing overnight. Do you think he is going to take more of the long view and building this thing up? Meticulously, methodically, or do you expect him to try to win right away? Well, with Russell Wilson, you have to try to win right away. I mean, you've got a lot of money sunk into Russell Wilson. More than 40 million a year. And it would look like at 34, he didn't look 24 last year. And so you've got to figure out the Russell Wilson thing. And go for it this year. I think the goal with Russell Wilson and Sean Payton is to make the playoffs this year. Maybe a little bit of a long view, but the long view can't really start, I wouldn't think till you figure out Russell Wilson. And.

"And Evans. 15 are simple well, let's start right there. Let's answer that question. The reason why it does matter is because the all time greats in this game, so we're talking about the NBA. They not only built their playoff legacies their championship legacies, but they also competed damn hard during the season. It was important to them to play 82 games. Be out there as much as possible. They love to compete. I thought you nailed it earlier. The problem that the NBA has in the NFL has, especially those two sports, is that when it comes to these games, the players just don't want to compete. Anymore. They want to be named to the all star game. They want to be named to the Pro Bowl. They want to go, they want to have a good time. They want to hang out party. They just want to enjoy themselves. They want it to be a break for the NBA guys. They want it to be a payoff to the season for the NFL guys, but they don't want to compete. And that's, that's a problem. That is a real problem that these guys are because they get up Mark. You know what? How many times have you heard? An athlete get up and say, oh man, you know, we do it for the fans. You know, we got the greatest fans in the NFL. We got the greatest fans in the NBA. You know, thanks to the fans. They don't clearly the message sent by the NHL, the NBA, and the NFL is they don't give a damn about the fans. If they did, and they understood the importance of the fans, when it comes to the money they make and the fame they enjoy, they could go out and actually play a game. In the All-Star Game that would entertain us. I really don't give a damn about that. I would tell you, I would tell you that at least an NHL and professional football they do care. Because they play hurt and injured and they do that all season long, so they don't want to risk it. They don't want to put that risk and I understand that part. I don't want to risk it for an all star a meaningless All-Star Game. So I understand that aspect of the NBA to me is different. That's just, come on. You guys are playing a pickup basketball game with far more effort. You play, you come home from an MBA game, and afternoon tilt, and play with your kids in the yard, you know, on your driveway with more effort than you played. That game. By the way, it's one thing for me as a basketball fan to complain about it, but you got the

"And I do want to get into this more coming up in a couple of moments. Because the avalanche in the nuggets have kind of reversed roles in are in very different positions, not so much where the nuggets were ever a defending champion looking to scare somebody from a low seed, but the fact that the avalanche were prohibited favorite all year long last year atop the conference and everybody thought they had a really good chance to win the cup. And now, injuries due to some other circumstances throughout the schedule this season, they find themselves in the position that maybe a Golden State Warriors or a Lakers are in the NBA that are fighting to get one of the last seeds, which is who the nuggets may end up playing. So we may see both ends of the spectrum here, this spring when it comes to the playoffs, having a basketball favorite in the conference, having to knock off a proven former champion with some pedigree and some skins on the wall, and then also having that very same situation reverse itself in hockey with the avalanche being a lower seed while being extremely dangerous to anybody at the top of the conference. So a little bit of a strange dynamic, right? That is developing here, but things definitely looking up and on the up and up for the Colorado avalanche after the come from behind wind yesterday. We'll get more into that and then of course the all star weekend with Nikola Jokić's participation on his 28th birthday yesterday along with Michael Malone and the coaching staff and then the overall debacle that that turned into. "Isn't going to pitch a fit over it. This is somebody who had glowing things to say about Sean Payton at the end of the season. Reportedly reached out to Peyton early on in the process. I think Russ did all this, said all this, understanding what's coming. Right. And understanding that Peyton feels the way that he just expressed yesterday about Russ's entourage. I think Chris is fine with it. And I think Russ at this stage wants it is okay with it. And yeah, because he's now in a position where you run the risk of looking like a real hypocrite. When he's telling you, many times, I want to go down as the greatest winner of all time. Okay. Yeah, this one. Well, then this shouldn't be a problem at all. Right, this is what it's going to take. No, I a 100% agree. It shouldn't be an issue. Now there's going to be some things you're going to have to overcome. Like all the people that are around surrounding the facility, all the people that are part of that. Again, you're not going to have a private coach out there. I don't know about his individual trainers and all those people. If they're going to have to do things off site, again, I don't know exactly how that will work. Sean's not unreasonable, but there will be, you know what, there will be common sense in an NFL common sense isn't always so common. I think that's what we saw last year. Right? But there will be a commonsensical approach to what we're doing. And one thing about having one thing about Sean that you have to understand, they've had the same strength coach over there for what 16 years. One thing about Sean that I think Russ will be made aware of and everybody will be a member, we are not we're hiring really good people to do their jobs. And we are not going to emasculate those people. We are not going to undercut those people. Because they were hired for a reason. And so I think you have to, again, this is a growth process in maturity process for us. You got to understand the pecking order and what we're going to do here. And I mean, get on board. And I believe that he will. I believe they don't get on board. And I believe there will probably be some concessions made for certain things, but certainly not your own individual quarterback coach on the field. That ain't happening. Some are more reaction on the rentals dot com. Text line, I went from mildly anti Peyton to open minded after the conference by still see a cap strapped team with no high picks and a deficit of talent. Another one, take a hike team threes. Sean Payton talks about the need for a little less talk and a little bit more action and what to expect from the abs. As they get back to work tonight coming out of the all star break, all that coming up in the bru next. It's time for your morning brew, grab a cup of Joe and get caught up on everything you need to know. Here's schlereth and Evans. Reacting to Sean Payton's introductory press conference yesterday, we certainly learned he's in charge, but is he a tyrant? I think there's this myth that I'm this like tyrant that has to come into the building and control everything and I'm like, what are you guys getting all this stuff from? I might get tyrant once in a while though, but not a lot. Anyway, I really enjoy his company and I think it works extremely well so far. Talking about his relationship so far with George Payton, can he be a tyrant? Oh, there's no, there's no question that if it's not being done the way he wants it to be done, then yes, absolutely. But again, I think he's had an unbelievable working relationship with Mickey Loomis all these years. I've sat with him, he told me the story about there. I think it was a 2017 draft where they got like ram check and Camara and there's like four or 5 big time players in that draft and traveling around, going to interview these guys as, you know, just a consortium of coaches and scouts and general managers. So, you know, yeah, no, but he certainly is going to want things done on the football field the way he wants them done. That's going to be a demand. Love it. Covering Shanahan, covering kubiak. Listening to him yesterday, I had flashbacks to those two. And I haven't felt that way. About a Broncos coach, since Gary kubiak left. Right. And God, it just, this is what I wanted. This is why I've been banging the table for an experienced coach. You're hurt it yesterday. You're hurt it. I don't need to say, hey, listen for this. Listen for that. If you listened to the press conference yesterday, if you're listening to any of these clips that we're playing, it's obvious. It's such a difference. And it will make a difference. Next on the morning brew more from Sean Payton, he wants less talking and more playing. I know this, the work has started. I kind of use this term a little bit more anonymous donors this season. Just know that we're working, but a little bit less visibility on social media and all those other things, like we're going to get to work and ultimately it's how we do in the fall. So we kind of go from there and then we kind of earn it with our fans and we've got fantastic fans that will appreciate that. I found myself when I was taking notes yesterday, listening. I put a star next to that. Right. He was asked. You want to make any predictions? Anything that we should tell you what? Why don't we just, why don't we just go to work, put our heads down, and let's go prove it to everybody in the fall. You know, not trying to real Broncos country in with any bold, brave talk now. He's not interested in winning the off season. Let's go to work. And let the results speak for themselves. Yeah, they let that be how you judge us. We don't need a bunch of running videos or a bunch of look how much I'm throwing on vacation or, hey, look at me, I can slam dunk and I'm 6 to 7, you know? It's kind of the smirk campaign. I was a little bit of it. Do I have it handy? Lunch video. I'm gonna look at your donkey. You're 6 8. Yo, I mean, just insanely stupid. Oh, yes, little less talking, a little less self promotion. Let's just go to work and win some football. That could be, by the way, that could qualify as a song for champagne. Oh yes, that's right. Thank you. Little more action, Elvis. Yes. Thank you for bringing that up, by the way, because as you know, there is a tradition here on the flyers that Evans program that every coach in town has his own song. His own soundtrack that we play. So we need your recommendations today for Sean Payton. Right. So this is less conversation a little more action. We can make that the immediate leader in the Clubhouse. How about that? Hit us up. For the chiefs over the Bengals. I definitely had my tinfoil hat on. I don't think I'm the only one though, 'cause I think a lot of people were looking at that game and wondering what is going on. I did find it the most amusing part was, you know, you see a lot of these national guys in their commenting about the officials during the game and they're talking about how is this guy working the AFC championship game? And then as soon as it's over, they just turn the page and start with the storylines. It's like, you know, I think we need to keep asking the questions and scratching our head because that it certainly felt like it was a one sided affair when it came to the flags, especially late in that chiefs game. Yeah, I don't buy it. I think they were legitimate calls. I think that Patrick Mahomes saying was a legitimate call to end of the game. And bottom line is you got two drives. You got two opportunities to close out that game to go up by however much you need to go up by. And you can't get it done. My biggest my biggest issue with the Cincinnati Bengals is lack of maturities and football team. You're talking all that mess. You're talking all that garbage. You're talking about it being burrow ville or burrow head or all those things. Those are things you can't do as a mature football team. You can't give the other team an opportunity or at least motivation. And that's a big that to me is a bigger issue. Yeah, no, I'm with you. I'm with you. You can't give him bulletin board material. That's a silly thing to do. The last thing that the chiefs need is more motivation. And look, was it a legitimate call? Probably, but to me, it was 8 seconds to go in the AFC championship game. It has to be egregious for me to throw a flag. Because not only determining the game, you're determining the season for one of the two teams, actually for both of them, it's just too big of a call for it to be something that is even borderline. Especially when there's a guy getting tackled that's trying to rush the pass on on the play. They miss that. There was the third and 9 where they got to do over. It just was over and over and over again. If it was just one call, I certainly wouldn't have had my tinfoil hat on, fellas, but I just thought the total amount of it in the way they all went one direction was fishy, but stink you're right. I mean, the Bengals still had the ball left. Now they didn't have late in the game. They didn't have great field position, but they had their chance to go get it done and failed to do it. It just did feel like they were playing against more than 11 to me. And I know nobody wants to hear it and hear about officiating being bad, and that's not why they lost, but it certainly didn't help. I'll leave it, I'll leave it at that. Mister James Mary, I want to bounce get some other topics. I want to get by you here. I ask this question earlier, give you a chance to weigh in. The Broncos coaching search has become blank embarrassing. Now, that may turn to a one 80 if we get an announcement today or tomorrow and it's Jim Harbaugh or Sean Payton or Mike Shanahan or a name that kind of wows everybody. It'll come, it'll come across as though they were really working behind the scenes and making things happen. But at this point, it feels like they can't get anybody to take the job. So it feels embarrassing at this stage. It's been a long process to get to here. Jim Harbaugh decided to go back to Michigan two weeks ago today, at least the first time they interviewed Dan Quinn a week ago Friday, so it's been ten days. We really haven't seen much movement of any sort here. So yeah, it's embarrassing, and if they go, if they hire somebody that they could have hired in the last week, it feels like they had to talk them into it, right? If it's Sean Payton, they could have done that any time, or Jim Harbaugh. D'amico Ryan's is the only one that they couldn't have got to until today. So it just feels like something is off. It feels like they're having to bake somebody to take the job. So yeah, at this point, it's embarrassing. How many times does Jim Harbaugh have to turn down the job before you believe he doesn't want it? Well, so far, it's at least two. I'll bet you he gets another chance. Now there could be something a deal done and we just don't know about it yet and it's recruiting week, which would be kind of a shady thing to do to know you were going to leave to go to the Broncos and you go ahead and get kids to come to Michigan. But maybe he doesn't want to leave the wolverines and alert and he wants to finish that process and then he's ready to go. I don't know, but the fact that they said it was, oh yeah, that was just to get his in person interview in. I find that to be spin and I find this whole timeline that they're trying to sell us. It's not adding up either. So I think they did what Zach buy and others at the station talked about last week of, hey, he doesn't have his new deal at Michigan, so take another swing at him when things didn't go well with Peyton when it looked like the mikko Ryan's was going to go to Houston. It was all right. We can save face by flying out to Michigan given Jim Harbaugh the checkbook and saying right in whatever number you want, and it still wasn't enough for him to take the job. I have a feeling he'll probably get one more chance at it, though, stink. I think it's going to be three times before they finally turn the

I want to be able to sometimes it's just about sometimes just about furthering furthering or expanding your scope, expanding your opening your aperture and meeting with other people and finding out what their philosophies are, who they are. He talked about ownership being important. Well, if you've never had a chance to meet Dave tepper, who's a multi billionaire, why would you not go meet date depre? Makes sense to me. Aperture? Yeah. Somebody's somebody got a word of the day calendar for Christmas. No, no, no, no. Man, the language of fortune, please. I started reading a book chapter book. It's big for me. Leather bound. Wow. Yeah. Sturdy spine. Yes, very serious. Next on the morning brew, Andy Reid on Patrick Mahomes availability for the FC championship game. He's worked hard in the treatment. It is doing okay. He told you guys, I mean, he mentioned to you that he's going to play. So I mean, that's his mindset. Then we'll just take it day by day. See how he does? Of course he's going to play. I'm here, of course he's going to play. But. I just wonder, man, he was hobbling. And you spoken about these ankle injuries. There's a certain amount of adrenaline and everything that carries you through that that moment that day that you injure it, but then afterwards, ton of bricks, right? Can be, yeah. The high angle spraying is just so different. It's so it just is a really, really difficult one. So yeah, the thing is, they're nasty. Well, look at the good news. Cheese fans. You're gonna lose to the Bengals anyway. This way at least you got an excuse. Wow, jeez, if only Patrick. Girl. Holly was a 100%. Oh man, curses. You know that kind of thing. You got to build an excuse now. Because the Bengals are going to beat them. Hello, James. The bangles, the way they're playing right now. Can you imagine the Bengals being world champions? Sure, why not? I'm rooting for him. Listen, they're the only team left that never won a Super Bowl. You better send those refunds. Yeah, listen, I am too kind of, I guess. It just is just really hard for me to comprehend the Bengals being good. Right. I think that I think a lot of us think that way. For the morning broke, got a fun question for you that we want you to think about, be a part of and I'm curious if the answer is easy or if it's gonna take a lot of thought. Throw that at you coming up next. You listening to cash lariat and Evans on ten sports station, one O four three, the fan. Wanna toss this out. I maybe it's easy. But I suspect it's not, but let's take a go at it. So Jared bednar recently tied for the franchise lead record for most wins by a coach. Set by, originally by. Were you paying attention? By, no, I wasn't paying attention to that. We should. Michelle, yeah, because you went on a little back and did a franchise, which is included in nordique. That's kind of a dead version. Yeah, that's almost kind of a. All right, so we'll just go with the ass. Oh, Michelle. I don't trust a dude named Michelle anyhow. Never have. I can't do it. Sorry. I show up for my first high school French class. With a members of Hodgkin's. A weed, a wee little lady that was absolutely terrifying. She kept a little ruler in her head. Like, misses S oh my God, this this lady. Anyway, so we're going around the first day of class. She's giving everybody their French equivalent names. And you will now be known as your French equivalent name for the rest of the year, right? Tell me she didn't give you Michelle. So she gets to me and she goes, Mike. Your name is Michelle. Everybody in the class starts laughing. And I get beat red. Right. She's like, I go, I can't, I can't. I understand. I've had a lot of Michaels and nobody wants to be Michelle. So you know what my friends think was I got to pick a name for three years. They could think of a quintessential classic stereotypical French name. That's what I was for three years. My Friends, I've been beyond French fry and French dressing. I was Pierre, Pierre. So for three years, she'd seen me in the whole way. She'd be like, Bon Jovi. I'm like, bourgeoisie. So yes, I was not much fresh. How much fresh do you remember? I think if you drop me in the middle of Paris, okay? We parachute you in like John lynch parachuted down from there. How do we get down there so fast? The magic of television. That was shot earlier played. And then he's on the field. Really? Yeah, that was seriously. It was like he was there and then a minute later. It was John lynch on tape from earlier. They played it on tape and then that's one. That's one of those TV things. They probably shouldn't have got him on the sideline that quickly afterwards. Correct. 'cause it left all of us wondering how's it done? Yeah. So they just took us behind the curtain a little bit. Yeah. Yeah, I think if you drop me in the middle of Paris, I would be able to survive. If there was no English around, I could survive. But I can read it. I can understand it, but if you're clearly. But if you start putting me in a position where I got to converse, then we're going to have a problem. And then you just act like

"Perhaps putting himself in a position where he can be called the greatest athlete to ever come through Denver. He's literally making that case and as time marches on, you're going to have a hard time arguing. But I'm just talking from NBA overall historical perspective, leaguewide nationwide global wide. Got to win the change here. You got to win the chip. I think you've got to change how you formatted those words. Oh, really? The greatest athlete? Yes, I think. You want to push back? No, no, no, no. I just think that because of the way to call the yogic plays. Then you tell me he's not athletic. You're telling me he's not, you can't do what he's doing out there and not be athletic. People will give you a certain type of pushback, Mike. Well, hey, bring it on. Come get a taste. Let's go. The greatest athlete, maybe. Maybe so. If you're playing 82 NBA games a year running up and down the court playing 36, 38 minutes, you're an athlete. Yeah, okay. I consider some other sports athletes and other people don't. I consider curling and athletic sports. Other people don't know you. What? Now you're losing me, but we'll debate that during the break. Coming out, I'm trying to help you out, Mike. You don't need to help me out. I'm on very solid footing right now. Which is important on a morning like this. Yes, be careful as you're driving it out there. Is Sean Payton the best coach possible for Russell Wilson. That's next. Evans, on Denver's sports station, one O four three, the fan. Happy Wednesday everybody helps you. Yes, Orlando Franklin sitting in for the first half of the show is Mark is in New York doing carton show. Our old buddy Craig carton doing a show for FS1 and staying filling in or co hosting this week. And so he'll be here for the second half of the show starting around 7 30, but big O sitting in. We had Brock heward on yesterday and with the Broncos interviewing Sean Payton yesterday, we asked Brock heward who thought that Jim Harbaugh would be the best coach for Russell Wilson. What is plan B was? Dan Quinn a because of familiarity B because he'll put together the kind of staff with the kind of people that he knows how to get the best of us. There's nothing he's not going to be blindsided by anything. Not that rusts in 2022 was the wrestle that he worked with back in 13 and 14 and 15 and what have you, but he does know he is connected and I think he would put together a tremendous staff of people that would want to come work with him in Broncos country, make a home here, make a living here and I think he would be my plan B so right there, Orlando. What do you think of that? I absolutely love it because that immediately what comes to mind, right? When Sean Payton was Sean Payton's out there, you start thinking about the competition, oh my goodness gracious, do we want to go that far? We've already went that far or even way further with Russell Wilson. Jim Harbaugh, he's decided to go back to Michigan. So for me, right after I heard the Jim marvel news, I said, I guess it's going to be Dan quin for me. And I'm subscribed to everything that Brock has seen. But the one thing that I don't think that people are talking about enough, they talk about it enough in a negative way, but they don't talk about it enough in a positive way and quite frankly, Mike and pisses me off. You're right. Gang queen didn't do anything with Kyle Shanahan walked out to build it. You don't think he realized that? You don't think he realized that, oh my goodness, gracious. Not only did they not do anything and lose my head coaching job, one of my disciples, Raheem Morris became the interim head coach and they moved me out early in the season. They didn't even give me the whole season. How it ended out there in Atlanta, people would learn from their mistakes, just like we expect Nathaniel Hackett to learn from this mistakes this year, where Russell Wilson, just like we expected Vijay to learn from his mistakes with John Elway and Joe Ellis and not knowing what was going on and not being previewed to have those conversations. I promise you that Dan Quinn is chomping at the bit to become a head coach, but offensively he already has in mind that, man, I need a strong offensive minded guy, but then I have to have my number two in my number three, just in case my number one gets hired away after a couple of years because that's already happened to me. It's looking for longevity now. That's why he's still coaching football. So yes, I love what Brock saying, but I just wanted to add that extra little fact of that because I truly believe that Dan Quinn would be the best, one of the best guys. Now I told you yesterday, Jim Caldwell is my guy. Dan Quinn's a close second. But if you have Sean Payton in your head coach, you don't have to worry about replacing your offensive coordinator. You don't have to worry about replacing your play caller. It's the head coach. It's the guy you've entrusted the entire franchise to. It's the guy you're paying more money to any coach in the NFL. It's the guy you've given final say. He's not going to go anywhere. So you don't have to worry about grooming, not only the guy for now, but the guy after the guy after the guy. He's not going to go anywhere. He just went somewhere in New Orleans. After 15 years, I'll tell you what, if I'm sure his quarterback was walking away. It's not green. If Sean Payne has a 15 year run here, if he wants to up and leave after 15 years, God bless, go ahead. Yeah, I don't think he makes it 15 years. I think Sean ten years, he's the quarterback situation, and now how hard it's been. We know how hard it's been. And Bronco country, because we've seen it. With all the different quarterbacks, I have to pay the money. When you sit one place for 15 years and you got the guy, it's easy. Well, where is he going to go other than here that he's going to be guaranteed to have the guy? It's not going to be the Chargers. Their committee, they're staying with Brandon staley. Houston doesn't have a guy, Carolina doesn't have a guy. Absolutely. I truly believe that all signs point to the Denver Broncos for Sean Payton. He's talking in code. Mid to late first. I think Sean Payton is well on board, understands the situation and saying, come on, Denver, come get me. But I can not trust somebody that I watched the track record. And when they're going gets tough, you run. After 15 years, you call that running? This is why I call it running because two years later you want back in. That's why I call it Reddit. Had you walked and it was just done and you're sitting down and you're hanging out and hey, you're on the boat or wherever Jared bear was at before he got hired up, but Sean Payton's been politicking for it all year. So for me, things got tough in New Orleans. And you left. That salary cap became issues. And don't think that we can't be in a find ourselves in that situation again, right? If he comes in here, he's Trump and George Payton immediately, the Walton penner group are very young owners. Sean Payton tells you that he wants a $15 million a year contract and after year one says you need to move on from that GM and I'm going to be the GM and make a decision like he was making out in New Orleans. Well, that put them right against the cab. So I just have some red flags and some real questions when it comes to one. Here's where I think you're being really unfair to Payton. When he won the Super Bowl in 2009, and then the next couple of years, 11 and 5, 13 and three,

"Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day Denver in this morning for flirt at Evans. Here's Troy rank and romi bean. Now welcome back. Welcome back. We're sitting here watching this wild card weekend recap on the TV. We're thinking about it. And Troy, I keep thinking, man. You know, going into this season, the past few years, everybody said, oh, the Broncos are a coach in a quarterback away. They get the coach. They get the quarterback. Well, not the right coach. And that certainly didn't pan out. When you look at the Broncos, a lot more other warts, I feel like exposed this season, but you look at some of these teams in the playoffs in this wild card weekend, how far away realistically are the Broncos, what have they got to do to get there? Well, for me, it all goes back to offensively. They have no identity. Yeah. What do they do well? What do they do well other than the end of the year they ran the ball? Okay, even last year, under pond Shermer pat Shermer, they least ran the ball, they were 12th in rushing. They did one thing pretty well. It's not something you'd throw on a bumper sticker, but they had something. They also practicing completions. That was underrated. They didn't do anything well last year. And that's so they need an offensive identity. But I'm looking everyone's like, man, they were really good at the end of the year, right? The chiefs game, the two chief scams of the Chargers games, you know where the Broncos ranked and scoring, right? Finished up and scoring. Dead lasts them, 16.9 points per game. And that was a dramatic improvement because they were sitting at the 1212 and a half 13 points a game up until basically hacking got fired. They were the worst team in Broncos history by from the tenth game, 11th game. And in terms of scoring, to the 1966 team, which was pre NFL. Pre NFL. So when I watched these playoff teams, you have to have an identity offensively. Who are we offensively? You have to have playmakers that can rescue you when everything else, the fire alarms are blaring. Everything's going on. Who's going to get you out of the building? Who's going to get you out of the building and cross the rocket to safety? Sometimes that's just a guy making a play. And we saw some of that with Jerry Judy at the end of the year. We need more of that, but they need an authentic identity. It's probably going to be two, if not three new starting offensive lineman, depending on what happens with Dalton reisner. And you

"To you. Happy new year. On this January 2nd, Chad andros Kyle Reese in for schlereth and Evans today said the kid is on the board for big John simmer. As we will get into a reaction Monday, Kyle, how are you doing this morning? I'm doing great. Celebrating the new year off to a great start. How about yourself? It's a pretty good start. Was here yesterday with that Broncos game in Kansas City, another close call. I mean, cheers to you, man. With the chiefs? You're working this thing. Hey man, if you're going to work, you got to work. Got to show up. Now I'm not going to throw any one of my guys under the bus because we love our guys here on the morning show. But I am just going to say when I arrived this morning, there's a chance that one of one of Mike Evans march layer at or John simmer may have come in the building, not realizing they were off of work today. I don't care what you said. There's a chance one of them might have been here this morning thinking they were on this and they promptly came in and said, okay. I will turn around and go home. They then did the about face, huh? Enjoy your day off. For that individual. I'm not going to throw them under the boss. Well deserved. Day off. They work hard on this show in the morning. So the 6 a.m. textures that are loyal to shiller at the Evans will probably appreciate that as many days as those guys get up early and entertain us. It's easy to get confused when you're a busy guy. Look, man, when you get up when it's dark man, anything could happen. When it's dark all year. Even in the summertime, it's dark. Dark and early is hard. A well deserved day off. Not that we wouldn't appreciate that individual being here, but now we got it. A well deserved day off. We will guide you through not just the schlereth and Evans portion of the morning, but also the first hour of the players club. We're going until 10 o'clock today. It's a company holiday on the second. I hope a lot of you are still on enjoying a day off today. And enjoyed that Broncos game yesterday, a 27 24 lost to the chiefs. I think given the current state of things, Kyle, that's probably as much enjoyment as anyone could have reasonably expected to get out of a trip to Kansas City in December because they scored a few points and were actually competitive with a chance to give themselves an opportunity to win or tie the game late. So no moral victories were not giving out participation ribbons here. They have lost 15 in a row to Kansas City, but I don't think that anyone who reasonably assesses the season in the situation thought that they were going to go in there and win. Yeah, I was actually kind of down in the dumpster a little bit yesterday and I didn't think it would be even close given the week that the Broncos had last week. So there was some moments in the game yesterday where I said the Broncos might, they might win this thing. You know, they go up 1310 and of course they find a way to shoot themselves in the foot before the half. And all those kinds of things, but there's some moments there where you were like, man, this looks a lot better and surprisingly, in a week they turn that thing around. And just the change in leadership, how much difference that can make was pretty amazing to watch yesterday. So, yes, as you said, it was an entertaining game, and I think a lot of Bronco fans were pleasantly surprised and would look forward to seeing more of the same. After a tumultuous week with a Christmas massacre, where the team quit on a head coach, the head coach was fired, they change and get not even their first choice as an interim head coach to come in a guy that has not been with the team through training camp in the entire season in Jerry Rosberg. I think it's about as well as you could have expected from the Broncos. I don't think anyone could have expected them to win, but they did put themselves in position to have a chance to win. And again, you hit the nail on the head Kyle. I think it's been bad here for so long. Largely in part because of coaching, there are other factors, but largely in part because of different coaching mistakes and errors and miscues. I think a lot of the fanbase forgot or failed to realize how quickly things can turn and how in this league things can happen for you if you just give yourself a chance. If you just don't shoot yourself in the foot, if you just play competent football, you can be in a game, whether or not you win it, determines a couple plays here or there, a couple calls. Talent level, coaching, those things. But you can put yourself in position. And I think the prime example is Brian Davis giants, who are very much lacking in talent and don't have an elite quarterback. But in year one, he has put what he has in the best position to succeed, meaning play to the roster he has to give them the best opportunity week in and week out, and they're a team that is now clinched a playoff birth. And I think that's what you got yesterday from Jerry Rosberg was a coaching effort to inspire a team and to put what was there in the best position to win, which always hasn't been the case, especially under Nathaniel Hackett, but even with big fan geo Vance Joseph, that's what coaching is. It's take what you have and give it the best opportunity to win any given time out. And that's something that they got in a professional offer from Jerry Rosberg and it trickled down to the players. If you watch yesterday, first of all, I was upset because right after we got off the air last week, literally 30 minutes after we got off the air, what you had been calling for for four hours happened. And I said, man, the golden opportunity is, like, story of my life. Day late dollar short. So I would have loved to have talked about Hackett with you last week, and I know we'll get a chance to do that this week, but the difference in the effort level from week to week. For the Broncos to go in, two rogue games in a row and play as well as they did against the chiefs and as poorly as they did against the rams. That's like the Grand Canyon in terms of effort levels. And you have to say to, yes, you're ask yourself, how much did they hate that guy? How bad is that? Was he doing? They said they loved him. Man, then why can't you lay it on the line for it? How come, how come you guys can't seem to stop the bickering on the sideline? How come you can't give the effort on the offense? How come we're turning over the ball? In just a week's time. You managed to go out there and almost beat what some would argue is the best football team in the league. I found it, I was dumbfounded by just the difference in presentation, the difference from Russell Wilson, and again, it's not all on Hackett, but man, what a difference a week makes. We'll talk about the Rosberg effect in what it had on the team, the changes he made with some personnel and some game planning. And how ultimately it's still ended up in a 15 straight loss to Kansas City, 27, 24, the chiefs with the wind. We'll get into that today on your reaction Monday. A lot of other news around the Broncos that was coming out on Sunday morning in regards to Russell Wilson and how he will approach his future, how the ownership group is approaching the coaching search and how that played into yesterday, how it's going to play out going forward. And throughout the course of the four hours today, we will also touch on the team in town that's one ten out of the last 12 and just beat the best team in the NBA last night. Your first place Denver Nuggets with a huge win. So a lot to get to on this reaction Monday today. Mike Mark John have another day off Sydney is running the show

So i'm gonna give you three ideas from design thinking the first one is this notion of connecting the dots so we looked in in the positive psychology literature and the design literature and it turns out that those who you are. There's what you believe. And that's what you do in the world if you can make a connection between b-street things if you can make that a coherent story you will expe- experience your life as meaningful the increase in meaning making comes from connecting the dots. So we do two things. We asked people write a work view. What's your theory of work. Not the job you want. Why do you work. what's it for. What's working service of what you have that. Two hundred fifty words then. This one's a little harder to get short. What's the meaning of life. What's the big picture by you. The Most Valuable Lessons of Robert Evans
"One of the most valuable things Robert Evans ever taught you. Well, I don't think we have enough time to be honest with you. He taught me a lot about Hollywood, especially when my shows were canceled and I was devastated. He told me how much of Hollywood hates to see people make it believe it or not, he said they really only congratulate you when no, they only throw you a party when they hear that you have cancer that's terminal. That's certainly a gross thing to hear, but that's the way bob put things. But he said people in Hollywood generally, they don't like to see pretty people make it. Especially if they're very handsome or beautiful. Or worse, happy. He told me Donna would tell anyone a happy law with a girl or a job out here in Hollywood ever. I said, why? He said, because most people are unhappy with the job or their spouse. They're miserable. They don't want to hear that you are. Be careful if you're taking pictures with a beautiful girl and looking young and vibrant and beautiful. They don't like that. I don't know. With all the magazine covers, I did one of those beautiful girls. Did it help me? Not at all.
